Suggestion. Ditch the whole “battle dance” they tend to spin around each other and tend to miss or attack the air if two troops are fighting they should be locked on to each other and not spin around so much as well as if more then one is attacking a single troop one more is dedicated Troops should engage the closest targets and not try and run into enemy lines lastly archers and ranged should not rush the front lines like is they have my chance at survival (more realistic and easier to strategize your lineup) and I would love to see more troop diversity unlike how you have a class from each faction adding the necromancer was a great addition I understand this is a lot but I wouldn’t of taken the time write this if I didn’t feel like this game could beat a game such as “clash Royale” you guys made a wonderful game with amazing potential no other game like this could put beat this right now

Latest update has been miserable. I was really enjoying this game for a while and was honestly hooked. I saw a few weeks back that there was an update so I figured I updated. Since then, game play has been very laggy and the app crashes at least once every 15 minutes. Annoying but the game is still a lot of fun and it always seemed to pick up relatively close to where it left off regarding coins, levels, troops, etc. when you restarted the app. I figured they would eventually fix whatever bugs were recently introduced, but no new updates, just that one that broke it. I have been wasting more and more time with this game, and restarts are getting more frequent. I was thinking about uninstalling and getting back an hour of each day to do something else, but the game incentives really kept me coming back, watching ads, probably making lots of $$ for the company. Until today, it recovered from its crash saying ?session expired? and asking me to confirm my progress. After confirming, it set me back many hours worth of gains, in coins, levels, troops, etc. so that was the nail in the coffin. Fun while it lasted, but not worth the frustration any longer. Uninstalled.

Top Tier Game. I’ve been playing this game for just over a week. It’s been very entertaining and in my opinion top tier. Things I love about the game include that the game hasn’t significantly slowed down as I’ve progressed. There are some issues I’ve had with the game and I will list both positives and things I’d love to see improved. Positives: - Fast paced and allows for a steady progression from new player to advanced -Free to play players aren’t at a full disadvantage to player who p2p -Card based system allows for control over the game to your liking. Suggestions: -Add a button to combine troops in barracks with those on the field or to show which troops can be upgraded; I find it hard to keep track of what level troops are on the field. -Occasionally the game bugs and allows head hunt missions to be re-completed without waiting the refreshing time and will reset again once the timer is up. -There is randomness in each battle, sometimes I can replay a battle 2-3 times and beat it with the same exact combination; my biggest concern is the randomness effects in multiplayer. -I would love to see a stat bar showing overall hp and damage potential of an army on the field which would allow for easy optimization of your army’s formation without having to exit the battlefield and click the troops tab to check. -Adding onto the previous point, a tab to edit your army outside of battle would also be nice. Overall, Top tier game. Would recommend.

Found some glitches. So first of all, the game is fantastic. I have yet been unhappy opening the app. I have found some glitches which I thought you admins may want to know. First and for most, the “HERO BOXES” glitch. I found that if you have any set number of hero boxes available, with the timer counting down, you can open them early for little too no gyms. I have found if you turn on air plain mode and shut the app down and reopen rapidly, the countdown is still there. If you click the box after this, the Purchase screen opens and forces itself close within a second or too. If your fast enough, you can click the open early button (the button which requires gyms) it’s either free or highly discounted.

Not a bad game. Except some of the 30 second ads really kill your interest in game. If its only 5 sec with the 3x gold reward I would’ve play this for time killer. But waiting 30 sec throwing down your phone open is really killing the fast paced gameplay. Limit your ads to not over 15 sec the most. Response response: What is important is not the gold you earn from total time spent. What is important is the time the player is interested. Currently I need to watch 30 seconds of ads for playing one game, to get the reward. Since you dev says it is meaningless because you’re going to balance between a player trying to support by watching dev and a player just playing not doing so, I understand where it’s coming from, but it is a bad system. There is no need to buy gold or watch ads, which means you can’t sustain the game. And I’m not complaining that I’m not getting million golds from ads. I’m complaining I have to waste the same, or even more, amounts of time watching ads then playing. This is fast paced game. 30 sec ads really ruin the game’s pro. Therefore, I suggest lowering the gold bonus earned from ads, if you want to balance it out, not making people use more time watching ads. It being 2x or even 1.5x still people will gladly watch.

Great idea, great execution, poor use of micro transactons. Lemme start of by saying this game is great. Playing for about a week and I’m loving it all. Great idea and good execution of it. Almost feels like an idle game while having the perfect amount of control. A+ on every expect of except the micro transactions. I’m all for them if it’s worth it. But 7$ a week for some in game currency, 10% discount on the shop and 30% time reduction on your “chest” prizes??? Not worth it in the slightest. Make these chest timers disappear, give us no ads, or some sort of inventive to buy this extremely overpriced VIP subscription. Or, simply just sell it as a one time deal. 5 bucks: no timers or no ads or extra daily in game currency. OR bundle it all together! The subscription is a waste of a GUI. As well, the watching ads button is disabled on my game, so can’t cash that in either.

Question to the developers???. I love this game in every way and I’m looking forward to chapter 4 of the expedition mode! But may I suggest a way to see your troops and what levels you have while looking at the troops after you select (troops) under the (hero) tab. I have mostly level 5&6 troops but I have several low levels waiting to buy more troop cards to level up and sometimes it gets hard to remember which troop is what level and then having to click off of the battle field and into the hero tab and then select troop and then find the troop and click to the level and I keep having to scroll back and forth, and if you had a way to do a side by side comparison of your troop and there level and see how many you have of each level that would be awesome as greatly appreciated. I’m sorry if that’s confusing and also I would like to add that I really hope you don’t take away the 1,600 for the delux legion and make it for vip only because like I’m not opposed to buying gems but I don’t want to do a subscription payment and I like that you can use the gems to invest in better items. Keep it up I’ve never been this consumed in a game and it keeps me happy!!

Best Game Ever.. I saw this in an ad, and it looked really fun. I slowly progressed through the game and I love the idea of cards and hero's and how you play the game. I am addicted to this game and all its events. Art Of War is really fun to play when your bored and grinding this game out is super fun. I have a suggestion for the developers. I would love to see this turned into a collectible trading card game. You can do a 3,10, and 30 set packs of cards. In rare occasions, i think you can also have hero’s as rare cards. If you’ve ever played Pokemon TCG they have EX, GX, and i think ZX now but Im not sure on the last one. Hero’s can be the EX,GX cards of the TCG. If you would like to follow this, I feel a lot of people would like to collect these. I feel also people could battle with these cards, and all these cards could have different attacks and Power Cards which fuel the attacks. I hope you take this into consideration. :)

its decent. I do really like this game, but after level 300 something, everything feels slow. it takes hour upon hours (by this i mean literally 24 hours at a time to get 1 thing) to get any special units and if you want any, you have to spend actually money or wait a ridiculous amount of time for something you will have to probably wait another 24 hour period for. concept of the game is pretty good, but another problem ive had is the daily challenges for dueling. you only have 20 tries and afterwards you have to spend your gems. but if you have no gems or no tries, you can just gradually watch your trophies go down while you cant do anything about it. campaign rewards the same stuff you get back at level 50. its a good game it just seriously needs improvement and variety. if you want to make a better game, dont make it revolving around pay to win. oh and another thing the VIP thing is a straight scam.

Not bad. I downloaded the game because of the adds, only to find out it’s nothing like them. I was actually more interested in what the game actually looked like vs the stick figures. PRO: this game is very fast past and fun, figuring out the best way to dominate the enemy by placing down where your troops should be is good! I just wish it was more in-depth such as planing where the troop move to. CONS: it seems like when you reach a certain point in the game your troop don’t kill the enemy before they get killed causing a lost, this isn’t a bad thing but the progress to get more troops is slow and expensive, after 15 battle I still wasn’t able to make enough coin to get more guys. This is where all of the icons come in. Every icon in the game takes you to a micro transaction, which isn’t bad but at the same time the progression in the game come to a halt, not a lot of coins coming in meaning stuck at the same level for hours/ days to get a random card. IMPROVEMENT: increased the coins so that players will lose but at the same time not stuck at a spot for hours. Over all the game is fun to play if you’re “free to play” kinda guy like myself until you get to level 54 and you just lose every battle after that until you spend real money or just grind it out.

Worth playing, some improvements needed. This game is a great game and offers some of the best f2p growth options out of any mobile game I’ve played recently. Currently there is no feeling to need to spend to win, rather you can appreciate the game and spend if you have the means to help support the devs. The only thing that this game is missing is a little depth. Below are things I would recommend to make this one of the best games on the App Store. 1. Clan/guild option would be a fantastic addition to the gameplay to allow players to communicate and share strategies within the game. 2. If guild are incorporated Create a guild boss or other types of guild objective to work towards so you are not stuck with only dailies and pvp battles. 3. Some type of dungeon, hunt, etc... options in the game to have something to do with troops such as an armor dungeon where there is high hp mob waves to clear or even assassin dungeons were there is high damage low hp mobs to beat to allow people to really strategize and take advantage of the mechanics the game offers. Maybe make these rotating/cost gems or coins per entry as a way to limit or make players manage their resources. Overall a great game that I find myself playing daily however is not a game I would feel the desire to constantly wanting to be up to date on as there is not much to strive for. Honest rating would be a 3.5 but it won’t let me do a half star and for what it is I feel it is closer to a 4 than a 3.

Okay here me out. So I’ve played a few games like this and this is the only good one by far I’ve found. The graphics and smooth, units are balanced and makes sense and has a little more depth. However; The game does get old which have been brought up. I’m on level 300 something of the campaign and it feels like the further I go I get better at a much faster rate then the AI. What this boils down to so far is just an endless run till I run out of levels. I enjoyed how they added an thanksgiving campaign and I hope for a Christmas one but other then the two side challenges, there is little to do. Some ideas I would think would help is increasing the AI troop levels and difficulty so it just a tad more Grindy. Another is to make the troops actually fight like archers or soldiers instead of a giant orgy after 5 seconds of battle. This next one may take some time but a multiplayer aspect would be splendid even if it’s small at first. Having a guild where people join and are able to fight daily bosses for (another idea) equipment that adds buffs to the units. Just a little more depth then just and endless, and currently, pointless grind. I hope you read and take these considerations

Clash of clans top contender.. I have 12 clash of clans accounts, i love that game, but since i started playing this game i am liking more art of war. Maybe because i have played clash for years and i am getting bored a little of that one and this game has like mini games. Overall there are very few things I don’t like, like why we need so many heroes if only a few are really useful, but i guess is a way to make us use new heroes and test them on different situations. I wish we could pick the troops we want to upgrade instead of getting random troops on the cards, but i guess is ok, although picking the troops we want is better, we could ensamble armies that we want and not just the ones that we have to because those are the strongest troops 😂 but I guess after a few years I will have the armies that I want. One last thing, please add many more expeditions, those are good, you can even make a game just with that mini game.

Great. Not perfect. This game is a fun time waster, and has a fun challenge at the beginning when you’re trying to level up your troops and find the right formations to win. The first week is fun but once you get good troops and are ahead of the curve, there’s really not a whole lot of fun and there’s no “end game content”. If you like doing the same mission over and over again without having to put in a whole lot of work, it’s a good game. I appreciate that the game isn’t overly pushy of microtransactions and you can get away with playing the game without spending money. You can earn the paid currency pretty easily just by playing. PvP is bland and doesn’t feel rewarding, and the head hunt missions on “hard” difficulty isn’t hard at all after three days of playing. The community event where everyone fights the same boss and try to kill it after times up is also not satisfying and it’s the same 2 bosses on rotation. And it’s pretty much rigged to end after a certain amount of time when the boss activates an instant kill mode and doesn’t really give you a chance to do a lot of damage. Not a game for everyone, and the complaints I see giving one stars aren’t wide spread issues and are just turning new people away from the game. Only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is just the lack of new and interesting content when you get far into the game.

Big Fun. If you’re the kid who wants prices in game lowered for troops because you have trouble choosing between a phone game and doing your homework, you have a few things to work on there bud. Took me doing one set of headhunt challenges, and watching one video for the 4x multiplayer and I made over 100k... on a side note, do your homework, get a good job, buy some gems and bang, no more grinding! Had to write my first review of a game because of these guys. No need to be so proud of me, I get it. Try finding another game with no forced adds, the sense of progression, no energy to worry about, and an couple efficient ways to earn the paid currency (gems). Yeah, it went with the classic battle pass type deal. If you have the money, sure, get it. Just remember, you won’t have that same sense of progression over time! Fun way to kill some time, without the aggravation of overwhelming ads and such

Long time player hit with stupid bugs. First time I’ve written a review. I’ve never had a reason to write a review till now. I’ve been playing Art of War for about 1-2 years now or since the game has been out and I love the game but recently since the past 2-3 updates I’ve been swarmed with bugs left and right. Every time I play headhunt for my daily coins/gems. My game magically crashes randomly sometimes when I try to gain more coins by looking at ads or it doesn’t count the mission for my daily, which irks my nerves. Also I’ve recently bought the pass for the month so I can receive the daily 250 gems, a discounted price on the 10 troops packs and 2x speed during some games too. But, since the 12th when my game crashed and completely logged me out and I haven’t had my perks since that day. I thought it was because the month ended but it doesn’t renew till the 17th. Now me very very sad because I lost all my perks.. HELP!!! Please fix these stupid bugs.

It’s kinda a scam. The game itself is good but the prices for the level four troop is bad it’s only supposed to be 60,000 but it’s 120,000 sure the chances of getting a card four time is slim but they didn’t have to double the price of it they could’ve been nice and said “let’s let the prices be better for kids” but what happens when a kid what the level four troop and has to choose to do homework or play a game and then forget to do his homework so I say lower the prices to 60,000 for the level four then keep dividing by two for the rest of the prices if you really care about the people that play your game and not just want them to spend their moms money on the game because think about the company ea games they have fallen down because they wanted money don’t let your company fall down like they have so please listen to me not just for the sake of kids time but their moms money or their dads money and for the sake of your company I am a kid to but today I act like an adult why because we kids are becoming obsessed with video games I’m not saying don’t stop the I’m saying lower your prices so kids don’t have to grind weeks mouths days for just one level four star troop listen to me from,Francisco Rumbo

Fun and addictive but trying to figure out bus/changes. I’ll begin playing the game about a month ago. Absolutely loved it. A lot of strategy involved especially in trying to find a great combination of rare and epic heroes to fight against other players. I had an old iPhone with low memory.I’m not sure if it was because of the age my phone, the low memory, or my sometimes spotty Internet connection but I have a lot of bugs with restarts. I thought I would upgrade to a better phone with more memory and faster processor specifically so I could play the game. Since the upgrade I have not been able to download the app. I’ve joined a guild, fight daily, and really enjoy the entire app. What am I doing wrong? Is this a known glitch when upgrading your iPhone? Thank you!

This is a pay to play game, don’t download it. This game is the ultimate pay to play game. You gain power at a decent rate up to a point, then you can’t go any farther without paying through the nose. On top of that, there are many competitions that you can only take part in if you are at a certain power level. So those that pay, get rewarded even more. All of those positive reviews have to be fake reviews, there is no way this game is a 4.6 out of 5. I know that my previous review was never posted (spent over an hour looking through all of the reviews). As for the game play, it is bad. There is really no strategy to the game, just buy your way to power and then push the auto play. If I could, I would give this game negative stars. But if you have played other games that these developers have, you would already know that they are in the business to rip people off. Truly one of the worst games I have ever played.

This game is GEEAT!!. Love this game SO much! Love all the different types of troops and setting them up in different ways to change with how the enemy attacks. The best thing about it is how the developers manage the ADS. You are not forced to watch them. It is entirely up to you. You can watch an ad after every match if you want to triple your coins earned per match. You’re not forced to and that is why I will always play this game. After every match, you’re given the option to watch and as that varies between 7-30 seconds to triple you coins. You get to choose how fast you want to buy new units/troops. I absolutely love this game if you haven’t caught on by now. To the devs I truly do appreciate the work you put into this game and how quick updates come out. Thank you so much!

disappointing. this is a game made to make you spend money and even then ,they will keep you spending , they will pair you up with way stronger armies and you have no chance of winning so you either spend money or quit playing not to mention the game crashes at least twice a day , and half the time it happens right when you are about to collect gems or coins , and when you reopen the game the stuff you were about to collect is gone . THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS with the "HUNTING MEDALS " after spending money and playing a bunch, your soldier and armies can only be upgraded to level 8th after level 8th they start requiring a number of "HUNTING MEDALS " for each upgrade, and the number of hunting medals that the game provides is ridiculously Low . you can only get very few a day , and they require thousands of hunting medals for each upgrade . Now most of my army is stuck on level 8th because is almost impossible to get those darn Hunting Medals , well not impossible but they give you so few a day , that it will take forever to upgrade just a few soldiers to level 9. Now , i might just stop playing all together and delete this app , unless the developers do something to solve these issues , and make the hunting medals more accessible and increase the number of hunting medals we can get every day ..

Great app, needs improvement. I play all the time and think the app is great! However, there are a few changes I would love to see and then I will love to give a five star rating. First is there anyway the developers can include a option where you can save your army load outs?? It’s annoying constantly changing your troops for honor hunting, then needing to put everything back the way it was for the arena and then you forget how you had it.. can you guys include a save option?? Second, can the arena be removed? If not, can there at least be a limitation on how many times you can be attacked? I hate working so hard to climb the rankings and wake up the next morning and find I’ve been hit 15 times and all my hard work goes down the drain. There should be a limit on how many times your army can be attacked. I hope these ideas won’t go unnoticed and I will send a email just in case. Thank you

Good, but some suggestions. So, this game is great. The ads were some cheap stick figures and a person we had 2 brain cells active. This game is much better than the ad, 3D characters, okay graphics, and a good gameplay. But, the layout is a little bit of a copy of clash royals setup, but only the home screen. The rest of the game is great. Really unique strategy game, on what to spend your coins on, which characters to chose, and so on. But in the beginning, it’s a little boring-it’s too easy. The only reason I kept this game is because of the reviews, and I knew that it would get better as I go on. Because of the reviews. I would suggest to make the beginning a bit more difficult and and interesting, so the player would be hooked-even in the first few stages. Honestly, great game, good graphics for a free mobile game, and okay gameplay. But I would suggest to make the beginning more interesting, so more people would play it, not just leaving it in the corner and the app wasting their storage. Also, speed up the process of leveling up, so as I already said, make the process faster and more interesting. That would hook more players in early game.

SO Addictive!!. I LOVE this game. The nearly impossible combination of Strategy yet almost no effort needed is AMAZING!! There are no ads unless you want to get extra coins, so you can play this without needing to worry about pressing “skip ad” every 30 seconds. But, like other people have said, things get pricey. But, if your like me, games like this are not ones that you just sit around and play, you play them while doing something else, and so no “commitment” -like other people have said- is needed. I would like if you could buy (with in-game coins) extra videos to watch for coins each day, so you can watch more than 3 videos each day for coins. Overall, a great game. I definitely recommend!!

Great game!. Super fun to play and a good time killer. I’m new to the game and entered it as a strategy player, but there really isn’t a whole lot of strategy. Battle formations matter and that’s about it. Also some of the basic tips would be nice to know. The developers should add a little tip box and make the battles a bit more strategic with the troops. Make it so you can only use so many troops and to have to work with that limit to win. Hell I don’t even know how many chests I can open at once so I keep closing the game hoping to not lose a chest in case of a limit. A tip screen telling me this and little rules and boundaries of the game would be extremely helpful. A chat incorporated globally or in clans/clubs/groups would even add a more team based aspect and make it easier to learn things from other players. The game has a TON of potential and it already is an amazing game. I actually really hope they continue to develop the game and make something special out of it. It’s really fun to play.

Cool game. This game is a lot of fun the battles are quick the only things that I hope can be added is some type of clan system. so you can play with friends or you can have battles with different clans or your clan can help fight a boss of some sort. Also when you get to the higher levels like 250 or 300 it doesn’t get any harder the highest number of enemy troops it can get to is 300 so it would be cool if the enemy could get harder to beat. Another thing is that water should be added because if you can have battles in the sea it would give players something else to work towards after completing the land battles. Lastly can we get presets so if you wanted to change the formation you can but still have your old formation.

Great game, but... The game really is amazing in all its depths and details, but I have some big issues with certain things pertaining the game. I like how the units seems to fight better in this new update however, much more loading before each battle.. zzz. Clans are a thing but it barely seems integrated into the game. The heroes seem interesting but there’s not too much you can do with them unlike troops. Hero Trials is awesome, but I feel like there’s no point in caring about the heroes even though they seem awesome because the game doesn’t do them justice. Also the devs can just change their stats ruining the experience for someone who spends money for that hero. Game really is awesome I’ve played it a lot, but would really like some more stuff to do with clans and heroes.

Game has gone downhill and over a cliff. The latest updates which were touted by the developers as game changing indeed were. Unfortunately, they completely broke the game mechanics. I wish I was more surprised that this was a one off occurrence, but this is just another example of poor communication and execution by this development team. One has to wonder if the software is tested at all based on the numerous issues that are introduced each “fix”. I’m extremely close to being done with this game based on the track record of this company which has little care or respect for their customers who have supported them for years. Everyone who has invested their time and money into this game should stop doing so until a wholesale change is made. Stop supporting a company which only cares about making money and stifling voices on their discord site for providing opinions!

Game crashes when you purchase packs and you don’t get your purchase. Played this game for a couple months and really enjoyed it. I was up to level seven troops and several legendary rank two or three heroes and one rank four hero. I had spent about $40 over the couple months I played until I purchased a pack and my game crashed. I logged back in like I do when it crashed during battles and random other times to see if my purchase went through. I did receive half my purchase if you consider three epic troops worth $2.50 which is complete garbage. I played clash of clans and marvel contest of champions for years and just grew bored of them but over the years I spent thousands in game but never got ripped off. I was only a few months into this game and lost $5: I contacted customer support several times and they gave me the run around telling me that their records show I received a legendary troop and my gems lol because that was the wrong pack I had bought the day before idiots wasn’t even looking at the right pack, so I chalked it up as a loss and moved on to play something else. To be honest the game was already growing stale because of the mindless battles over and over again with no tactics whatsoever just who has better troops. Anyways I never write reviews and I know this is lengthy but might save someone time and money. So to sum it all up just move on there’s better games with better customer service. Fun time-killer with minimal ads. The game itself is a very basic strategy sim. Set up troops and attack. Normal mode is too easy, I recommend hard or extreme. Many various game modes and “challenges” by likely bots. I’ve played this game for a solid 3 hours and lost track of time playing the many levels and modes and not a single ad unless I went out of my way to select it to earn some extra coins. It seems to be one of the least spammy games out there. No joke. You can play the game and not pay a single dime and progress nicely, it doesn’t seem like a complete waste of time to play the game with basic vanilla. Decent chances of getting characters and opportunities to earn most, if not all of the various in-game tokens, gems, keys, etc. without having to pay a thing. The option is there if you really wanted, and it likely would NOT be worth it, but like I said if you have some time to kill at an airport or something it’s a good game.

Troop glitch. This game was pretty awesome until yesterday 3/4/20 for me. Didn't need to do any in-game purchases and had a pretty strong army. Once I noticed I can start creating level 8s is when it got weird.. I noticed my army was not doing as much damage during the current event and I can't even get pass my current level at 1632.. I would log on and see troop spots empty. Thankfully I would take screenshots of my troops positioning so I can revert to it after switching them up for the current dragon event. I noticed a lot of my troops have vanished, I decided to recall all of them to the barracks just to get a better picture of what troops I had. I'm absolutely missing a handful of my level 7s which makes sense to why I was having such easy time clearing levels just a day ago to being stuck on my current level. Definitely would like to get my army back :/. Fun game until this happened..

Scam despite what devs say. After playing the game for 6+ months I can say that despite what the devs say they will quietly nerf heroes, that their objective is to create a system by which the games you play for gain are rigged entirely against the player. The concept of the game is good it’s just another tragic story of a company that simply can’t get past scamming their own players. People quit this game all the time once they realize it’s a scam. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to not get this game and play it with the intention of getting anywhere with skill alone in any reasonable time frame. I spent very little mostly just the monthly VIP pass and ended up finishing mid 3000 range in pvp every season. It takes hours to find opponents I can beat because as your army levels up they force you into fights with players who have spent 1000$s of dollars and the possibility of losing is so great it just isn’t fun anymore. You can spend 10s of 1000s of gems which take weeks to slowly build up and not get a single serious gain for your army. I would rate this a -10 if I could it’s simply a greedy company and the devs spend so much time on these reviews lying to the people who submit them, if they would simply stop trying to deceive customers and make a consistent realistic fun game they would make a fortune on subscriptions. Sadly they’re just going to milk as many suckers as they can and then they’ll make a new garbage scam. Rinse and repeat

I believe this game could be #1 on App Store but.... Like I said above I believe this game could become the #1 game on the App Store but there are a few changes I would like to see. 1. As you progress through the levels you always earn the same amount of gold. I would like to see a reward system where the further you make it the more gold you make. 2. A place to edit your battlefield on the home screens. To also include the ability to save multiple layouts for different uses. 3. A better description of how your troops interact with its enemies. For example said troop targets closest enemies. Or said troop does AOE. 4. In conjunction with #3 the description of ranged Troops does not give a good understanding on how their ranged abilities work. 5. Back to #2. Just more things a player can unlock throughout higher levels. I am currently at level 2000 and besides using level 8 troops at level 1000 no their are no other rewards to advancing. I love this game and I see lots of potential, but the game does need some work. I believe this game has also done some amazing things for the community like events but I hope the makers of this game listen to what the people want.

Okay Game. The game itself is alright. Less tactical than made out to be, but building up your little force is a pretty good time despite being a bit of a grind. My biggest complaint is the VIP. The price is incredibly steep for very little reward in such a basic game (6.99/week or roughly $28/month). The reality of it is, there are plenty of games out there with significantly more immersive content for a fraction of the cost, so there needs to be more incentive to invest. The first thing I’d like to see with VIP would be removing advertisements and allowing VIP players to obtain 3x rewards from every fight without advertisements. Secondly, I’d like to see VIP daily quests that are extra daily quests for more daily rewards that non-VIP players couldn’t work toward. If these two things were implemented, I’d be more inclined to consider a membership. Hope the dev team gets a chance to see my feedback, thanks for reading.

Great game, gems are too expensive. The game is great, and feels endless with how hard the levels get. But I feel I am stuck. All of my troops are max level although I lack gold Troops because of gems. The game offers lots of chances to get gems but not enough for leveling up a hero and getting level 8 gold troops. I would be willing to buy gems because I do really enjoy the game and understand the cost that can go into these things, but the price of the gems is far too high. 28,000 gems for $100 only then 14,000 gems for $100 every time after. Where 24,000 gems will only buy you 4 gold hero shards meaning $200 will level up your hero from a level 3 to 4. Davison is great for campaign and the only way I seem to be able to get through it so I’m saving all of my free gems to level him up when his shards become available but it gems were sold for say 20,000 for $5 or $10. I would be much more inclined to spend that say once a month.

Somewhat Disappointed. So I’ve been having a lot of fun playing the game and I’ve been playing for a while so i realized I should get the VIP since I play a lot and it would benefit me. As I was going to buy it I saw the stuff it included which made me want it more. And I saw that it was on sale for 3.99 so I was surprised and thought it was cool. But then I saw that it was a subscription and not a one time purchase. I was very disappointed as I’m a student and can’t really afford to have a subscription for a game. I’ve seen other games where the VIP or something similar is a one time purchase and I really like those and I think that this game should have like a $10, or more, one time purchase. It would be very beneficial for a lot of people and it would make the game more fun overall. Thank you developers if you read this and I hope you take it into consideration.

Just wanna say Hi:). It really isn’t a bad game. I play it casually and i like how u can play it even on airplane mode. I also love all the different game modes and hoping u find a way to add more!! My only complaint is that it makes little sense to have to go through every single level. None of the main levels have ever been challenging for me. There should be either some boss level’s at every 25 or 50 level mark, and there should be an option to skip a few campaign levels every so often, or skip to the boss level or something.. because they just take time and i dont even have to try i just win. When i first got the game i asked my friend “does this game ever get hard?” Make a way to have it more challenging pls, or have us be able to skip levels! Thank you!

Admin/Developers are Bias and Greedy. This game is very unfair and not a even playing ground. The Admins, email for customer service (that they will tell you to help you), and developers are all allowing cheating in the game (but for only certain clans/players). There has been in depth proof sent to them and they do nothing. In addition, they roll our new updates without even testing. They do not even have a testing server to ensure all bugs are fixed before release. Their testing server is the actual game server and they rely on the players’ feedback (who are very upset with terrible updates they come out with). In the end, the players need to teach them how to do their job. I have never experienced such a development team who fails at their jobs. I do not recommend playing this game or investing money into it as the game will always be bias and your honest feedback will get censored and you will be muted. I was muted for a whole week and was told it was that long as it was not my first time. As I explained it was my first time and to explain what other time, they told me they deleted their records. Very unprofessional Admins and Developers.

Pretty good, but has a few flaws. This game is overall a well structured game. The only problem is after a while it starts to get boring. You have to be really committed to actually enjoy this. I’m on level 131 and it looks like I unlocked all the troops (not counting the rare ones which you have to buy from the store). This brings me to my next point, you should have a small chance of getting a rare troop when opening a regular card pack. Then you also need to have a higher or guaranteed chance of getting a rare troop in the gem card pack ( which takes a couple of days to save up and buy)If those things are fixed, I would say this game has some real potential. Also I don’t know if different things are included in the shop which are available to buy. Like right now, the beast master and the pilgrims are available to buy, do you guys change that out weekly or something?

Banned from Official Discord for Encouraging Players to Provide Feedback Here. The game invites you to their official discord if you spend on the game over a certain amount. When players complained about the update to the game and that the developers were not responding, I encouraged them to come here and express their opinions good or bad and was subsequently banned for 7 days. The game is a fun time killer, but the developers and the mods are completely oblivious to what their customers want. Not sure why you would ban a player for suggesting that other players provide feedback good or bad here… unless you had something to hide. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is. This literally is where you are supposed to be able to be able to provide feedback and encouraging others should not be punishable by the developers. Good luck if you put money into the game or expect a game to help kill time and relieve stress, it has become super stressful after the most recent updates as everything that was working now is changed to not work the same way.

Blown Away.. Let’s be real, we all know iPhone apps are just ad-factories these days. I download them knowing fully well that I’ll delete them in a day or two after seeing how shallow they are. But this one is actually different. ADS: As far as ads go, this is by far the least invasive game app that I’ve downloaded in months. Not a single mandatory, unskippable ad. When you do decide to watch an ad, it feels worth it for the coins you get. This is UNBELIEVABLE. MICROTRANSACTIONS: MicroTransactions are entirely optional, while still being enticing with what they offer. GAMEPLAY: It’s not the most in depth gameplay, but there is a clear and long path of progression. And there are multiple game modes/activities to play to keep it interesting. It’s pretty much everything you can ask for in a free iPhone game. A free to play iPhone app, without invasive ads, with a respectable MicroTransactions system, and genuine effort put into the game? AND the devs are present in their review section? Dude... With the current greedy business practices these days, this app is such a breath of ridiculously fresh air. I bought a MicroTransaction just to support this apparent last bastion of decent app development. I think I have genuine love for you people, just for rising above the embarrassing standards set by your fellow devs. Anyone complaining about this game has absolutely zero scope of the current industry, and don’t realize how much better these guys are doing it.

Great game! Some issues tho. This game has a great concept and is very fun and addicting. I have found it very easy to build a quick army while spending no money, and the different game options are dope. A couple things, there shouldn’t be a level minimum on the game modes as some of them allow you to get better cards which makes sense until you realize it only boost pay to win players as they will reach these game modes ways faster. You guys have to find a way to categorize the arena mode. I’m getting swamp by people who have obviously put a lot of “time”(money) into the game and It gets tiring and is one of the only things that makes me really want to put this game down. Other than that this game is a good, if they keep updating it and adding new thing/ troops to keep the game fresh it could be great!

Best time killer app!. This app is one my favorites on my phone. When I wake up I log on and do 10 lvls in a couple of minutes. It is easy to get hooked on to and Uthink it deserves the 5 star review I am giving it, but like any app it does have its problems. 1 problem is that is crash a every now and again and that doesn't bug me because I have had apps that crash the second you log in. I do like how in the PVP area it tries its best to put you against people with around the same power. All the updates are fine because they try too balance all of the heroes and the troops. I do have a question though if the developers reply when you go to territory when are the 2 things ( I can’t remember what they are called of the top of my head for some reason) coming out because they have said “coming soon” for multiple months now.

I enjoy the game. The game has kept me entertained for over three years now. All the bad reviews I see seem to come from people who don’t understand that formations are very important in the game, and furthermore, don’t understand that it takes a long time (years) to accumulate those formations. I also see reviews of people losing out on in game purchases. I had an issue one time about three years ago, I didn’t get a reward that I was entitled too. One quick email and it was fixed the next day, other than that the game does occasionally crash, but I chalk that up to my potato of a phone. It really doesn’t cause me any issues, other than the inconvenience of having to spend 15 seconds opening the app again. Quite honestly, now that I think about it, I don’t think it started happing until I started running an add blocker on my phone. The progress can be slow and frustrating for the Inpatient, but if you can stick it out, find a good guild to help you along, and stay competitive, you will find yourself competing a decent rank pretty soon. I do spend the $5 every few weeks for the battle pass, but the game is playable for free.

Confused. In arena there is a little fist. I take that to mean either power or strength. Either way, I have 40,000 more than an enemy that I choose to battle. I also may have 20 or more units more than that person. I still end up losing the battle, why? After losing to an apparent weaker opponent a few times, one of the opponents has their challenge icon have a glow around the icon. I assume that means I would likely win the battle. It does not mean that. All stats indicate that I would win said battle but I still lose. What’s going on with the stats? If I’m just judging by the wrong things please let me know. There are some smaller issues but that is my main issue with the app. Other than that, it’s a really fun and addictive game that I like to play everyday. Edit: thanks for the response guys. Enjoyed the game. I don’t like whoever the game because I do like the creativity of the game I don’t like how you make the game on honorable when I have no matching troops I have to take some out and place them in and then try and find a match but I just can’t and the money I can’t like I can’t make all of it in time I just keep losing and I think that’s the problem to other players because that is just humiliating and I hope to change it so then everyone will have a good experience with the game and when I played it it’s on honorable and what I mean by an honorable it said to me that I lost but it really didn’t happen that way for that reason it was an honorable because the red troops had way more attack troops so when they attack me they have over 200 troops almost 300 they had 291st and then it switched to 298 jeep so I hope the change to make the game easier and

Nearly a great game. First of all, I love this game. Really great to start and feel like you’re getting far. Really wouldn’t change all that much. 1. A tab to edit your army outside of the battle screen is a must. 2. The ability to zoom in on your army. 3. The reactions of the fighters in the back 2 lines is way off. There have been times where my entire back lines have focused on the enemy mass, instead of the stuff attacking from the rear, as they had been placed there to defend. Maybe a customize tactics screen for all deployed units would help with this. This alone cost you the 5th star. 4. The normal packs and the Super packs do not carry enough value. I would rather draw more expensive packs in the battle screen and build up lucky points and gamble on the rarer troops in that screen than try to pull cards from the shop. 5. Once I got that first epic hero, I never bothered to change it. Didn’t feel the need to and nothing else seemed to be an upgrade on paper. Making the heroes appear rarely in the packs you can pull from battle or maybe 1 out of the 3 in the Lucky Time screen might make these more viable. As it is right now, upgrading them is tedious, slow, and far too expensive. Again, love the pacing. It’s a very satisfying game to play. The common currency packs a whole lot of value punch and the ability to triple your coins after each battle with optional ad views is pure genius. Well done, developers and best of luck with updates!

PLEASE CONSIDER. So as we all know Zeus is the only hero exclusive to hero purchase, also is not good enough to compete with top heroes consistently, I believe a active skill cooldown reduction (12-13 seconds) or a buff to damage would make him more viable for arena, his active skill takes 15 seconds to charge while chione/aly have lesser cooldown time, which they can be obtained through wheel or card master but Zeus cannot be obtained through either of those, and for the ones who purchased him $1000 are basically stuck with a hero that’s subpar, it’s not fair to players who have spent their money on Zeus for him not to be able to compete with other heroes people can obtain for free 🤷🏻‍♂️ not saying he should be over powered but something has to give, he should at least be able to compete with some top heroes 💯

The game crashes more then crash dummy’s. I like the game it’s not bad if it didn’t crash every two seconds. I do a battle and then it crashes and kicks me out to my home screen. Then I try again and I do a battle and it kicks me out again I updated the game no change I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the same thing come on guys you can do better then this. It’s not just me I been going threw your reviews and there’s a lot of people saying the same things. Can you fix it or are you guys just not that skilled and need to consider a new profession? Just saying gamers don’t wanna be kicked out every match we wanna game. Sorry but untill it gets fixed I gotta give you one star. I won’t uninstall it yet I’ll give you a few weeks to see if it’s fixed but if not on to the next game. I think that’s fair so fix it. Or we will spread the word of the Art of Crashes!!

Decent game, needs more clan options. I originally got the game earlier in the year when I was in lockdown, and I have to say, this is one of the few games I still play daily since then. It’s a great way to to kill time, and the multiplayer aspect of the game is nice. My only complaint is that the Clans mode feels really lacking compared to the rest of the game. I’m the leader of a 15 man clan with my younger brothers, and the only “interaction” we have is the clan message system (not the greatest) and the occasional in-clan battle. I wish that there was a way to do clan wars with other clans, and maybe make alliances as well. Another thing I would love to see in the game is the option to send each other troops. Like if I wanted to help someone in the clan, I could send them troops I don’t need. Just a few suggestions for the Devs.

AWSM!!. It’s super addictive and fun to play all the time 😄! The good thing is that you can play it in the car and it doesn’t need internet, but if you want to open chest you need internet ☹️! Me and my sister just started and we’re already past 100 and 200! It’s the only game I play when I can. The games a fighting game but there’s no blood! I can’t believe how good this game is. It’s like 1 in 1,000,000 chance of being really good!

Great game good focus on building army. I think this is a great game. I’m currently level 700 something and have been thoroughly enjoying the army building aspect. I have a few recommendations: 1. Make it obvious from unit design what level something is. 2. Add a way to tell how strong your army is versus another. 3. Increase the rewards from the weekly subscription to be substantially higher (day 100k coins and 500 gems per day, plus an epic unit per week). The current rewards are just too low and do not represent value for money. Overall, I recommend this game and I think it has a promising future.

Have quite enjoyed but ...... .... it keeps crashing out especially over the couple of days. I don’t know if this is just a development bug but now I can even finish a single simple battle.

Amazing game but I have an idea to make it better. This game is a masterpiece but I have an idea to make it better: An arcade mode which allows you to play as both sides and spawn troopers without limit. This is of course just an idea but it would be great if it was made into a reality.

Chests ??. game seems great so far but can you please provide feedback on your chests system. Initially you level fast and unlock heaps of chest which seem to stack up but you can’t open them ? I’ve got 4 chests stacked but seems I have to wait 8 hours when I’ve already plaid and plaid to unlock them to get new cards to progress Can’t say that screams excitement unlocking something to help you but then having to wait hours and hours just to open it. Can you confirm if that’s right ?

Repetitive and unchallenging. After a few days of playing the game just becomes repetitive and unchallenging. I can just sit here watching tv and have to press three buttons every so often to start a battle. I always win and there is no need to rearrange troops. I’m bored.

Really good.. I love this game. It is such a unique and underrated game. I love the mechanics of the game and the aspect of creating your own army with limited recourses and space. I actually saw the ad for this game and thought it would be a cheap, boring game but then I got attached to it and I love it. Keep up the good work.

Make the expeditions a game mode.. The expeditions were possibly the most fun thing I’ve ever played on art of war. It was tactical and encourages real creativity and techniques to win. It felt so good to feel defeat but later overpower your opponent. Please make it a game or a game mode cause that was sooo fun. Thanks!

MUST READ! 😑. I just started this game and I’m on some level between 20 to 40 and normal in between lv27 or 30 it says I get a hero chest so right now I’m playing on IOS and for some reason when is says to click on the hero I got in the hero chest it just lags me out of the game. I tried this again and again but it didn’t work PLEASE FIX!

In game idle rewards debuffed. What happen to the idle rewards its greatly debuffed i was on 40/ hr gems decrease to 28/ hr gems coin dropped to 900/hr rate its really sad ti see this, the update did nothing to tell us there was a decrease of idle rewards! This was a generous game thats why i suscribed, other than this it was a pretty cool game! Update: Idle rewards it dropped to 3600 coins/hr and 6 gems/hr WTH??

Crashes everytime. Can’t make it past level 170 due to the game crashing part way through the level each time. Too many effects and the game runs slow and then exits. Shame. Heaps of potential for the game.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.. The game says it is a strategy game, but the developers insist in create features to make the gane unplayable for those who are not keen to spend an insane amount of money. Besides, once you learn to play the game and start to enjoy what would be a strategy game its AI system and the amount of RNG on the arena, manipulate results of battles working with psychological games like casinos do to play with you emotions and induce you to spend more money. Finally, it is pointless to complaint with developers, if they do not ignore you, they either suspend you from their channels ( like block you on FB) or come with vague and useless responses trying to put the blame of any issue on the players instead of trying to fix any problem.

Facebook isn’t working. This is a great game but I can’t properly access arena due to Facebook login saying this is unavailable, I don’t know if this is from your side or from Facebook but I was really excited to try out that mode.

Good concept but glitchy. Quite a fun game to play, but it regularly crashes. This impacts battle results as well as give you warnings that you are cheating! There was a recent update to allow level 8 troops, and when I went to view an ad to get more cash the game froze. I contacted the developers and they responded quickly, but still waiting for my game to be restored. Hopefully the bugs will be ironed out soon. Time will tell....

Disappointed at Battle Pass expiry. My son used his pocket money to buy a battle pass but then was extremely disappointed to find out that it only lasted for the limited time of the season (2 weeks). This limitation should be much clearer on the purchase screen. It feels like a cheap money grab and we won’t be spending more money on this app.

Awesome game but.... The game runs very smooth, it doesn’t lag at all which is awesome but there’s one thing that is the most annoying thing of the whole game. It crashes to much. Every time I would try to do my headhunt missions I would get like 5 off from completing it and it will crash and I’d have to do it all again and which means I’d never get it completed. Please fix this bug I read reviews saying you patched it but still crashes for me soooo. Overall awesome game but please fix the crashes :)

Updated Review. Initially I complained about a paywall and crashes. The dev responded. Here is my updated review: The crashes seem to have been fixed and I’ve had no crashes for days. Now if you don’t update your soldiers or don’t know how to and If you don’t fill your battlefield with soldiers then after a while it will APPEAR you hit a paywall but there is no paywall in this game except your own ignorance. The devs should have named the combine button ‘update army’ so it’s clear how to update. Then placing army. Initially your army grows so you have to add soldiers to the battlefield but the game doesn’t tell you this. The devs need to fix this so you cannot fight unless you have put all your soldiers on the battlefield. It’s now an equal all time favourite game of mine. The in app purchases are not good enough, not really worth buying. They should offer more. Also the game needs to be expanded.

Ranking System. Hello, the game is wonderful, however I am a little disappointed that when I ranked up from gold to platinum 1, the leaderboard included all the players above platinum 1. I wish that each rank, such as platinum 1, would have it’s own little leaderboard including only platinum 1 players, just like in the gold rank. This would make players feel a sense of accomplishment as they progress through the ranking system, slowly passing opponents, and leveling up into platinum 2, 3 etc. Nevertheless, I am really happy with this game.

Game crashed. Lost a lot of gems and money. I’m up to level 3311 in the home screen and I am like level 605 in the arena. I saved a lot of gems and a lot of money ever since I started playing. The other day the game crashed and I lost all money and gems. As you can imagine that was a lot of hours of playing this game and when I contacted customer support they just said it’s impossible to have that many gems and money. The only option I have to get all that money and gems back is to pay for it all. Wish there was a site for trusted game developers. So many hours spent playing this game. Just to get kicked to the curb

Wasted Progress!. Great, highly addictive game! But about 8 hours in Ads weren’t available anymore, I tried the game on my iPad hoping I’d be keeping my progress, but disappointingly it wasn’t supported, however ads worked on the iPad, I go back to my phone to delete the app and redone load it to attempt fixing it and I’ve now lost all my progress. Very disappointed.

Needs more content. It is pretty good but the thing holding me back from 5 stars is lack of content if they add more content then I wold probably give it 5 stars

Hit a wall. Been playing this game for a fair while now and only managed to get my hero to level 13. I can’t see myself getting my hero to level 15 in the near future. As a result I’m handicapped by not being able to upgrade any troops to level 10. This can only happen after you have levelled up a hero to level 15. All my troops are level 9 and at this point it just becomes a boring grind. Unless of course you are willing to drop a lot of cash to level up your hero or spend another year grinding away. I get it developers you want people spending money but seriously it’s hundreds of dollars if not thousands to level up a hero to level 15, or years of grinding. I enjoyed the game until I hit this wall and now I’m thinking about deleting it. It would be great if you enabled people like me who can’t afford to spend that kind of money to level up some troops to level 10 to keep me interested, playing and still climbing up the ladder all be it very slowly. Even if it was just the common troops only?

Great Game- Constructive Criticism. Most important and needed change. I believe this is fundamentally to the functionality of this game in its current stage. There must be more useful break downs of each Troop. For example, why should I ever choose the Magic Apprentice over the Ghost Assassin if the Assassins stats outranks the apprentice in almost every conceivable way. The description says the apprentice attacks ‘effectively’ but I have no idea what that means. Moreover, I still am unable to grasp the uniqueness of troops like the Scholar, I think either, every troop need more obvious traits and unique ability, or the description for each troop and how they act must be more informative. Before you release any new troops please tell us exactly what the old ones do. Thanks. Love the game. Loved the special event as well.

Feedback.... Game play is quite simplistic; the game would be much more challenging and rewarding with slightly more complex gameplay. Suggestions: Allow each troop type’s actions to be modified (ie. direct iron guards/mages/whatever to either: hold their ground; rush to the front; or rush to the back); and Incorporate terrain components more (they were used quite well in the Christmas event! 😀). Also the ‘hero box’ and ‘troop box’ countdown system is kind of absurd: at time of writing I have accrued 46 troop boxes. With their countdown times I will never access them all (I’ll collect them faster - a lot faster! - than opening them). It’s a good time-killer game, appropriate for all ages, but a little too simplistic and repetitive to really hook you in.

Chest glitch. This game is great and I’m having a lot of fun but every time I open a normal chest I unlock a “magic apprentice” then I can’t do anything in game, no buttons work I have to close and restart the app and I loose my gold for speeding up the chest I loose the chest and get nothing from it

It’s good but it has little bugs in it. It’s a good game but whenever I login and do a battle it wouldn’t let me battle everything was like loading but I waited for about half an hour and I didn’t do anything and kicked me out of the game

No expedition. I was playing the game normally and unlocked the expedition levels in headhunt tab but after two or three days it refreshed and never came back. The base levels are way too easy but expeditions levels actually gave you a challenge but the never came back after they refreshed so I’m going to uninstall

Very good game. It is quite fun to play, however, if there is a friend system, it would make it even more fun as we can verse each other. 4 star for now

Art of War. The latest Infinity war has dropped out on me times in the last battle. I have lost a lot of rewards.

Chests!!!. I’m currently on lvl 1001 and I have over 30 hero chests sitting waiting to be opened and many more troop chests. I wish that multiple chests will be able to be opened so there is a point in attacking to get new ones. Thanks.

Fun but repetitive.. The game is pretty fun at first and i love the amount of heroes and troops but every map is the same and there isn’t really much to do... I would love to see more options like other maps, different game mode and more challenges and rewards! and shorter the amount of time you have to wait for chests, my god even being able to create your own base! I see so much potential for the game! i hope you get to read this because I am loving the game and I don’t usually like mobile games. In conclusion, game is worth a try. Thank you and good luck!

Great game. Most games I download I play for 2 seconds and I delete, this one I’ve played for weeks now, the rewards are good, it’s fun. I love challenging my partner. To buy things could be a lot cheaper or at least worth it. And maybe it could be easier to get the hunting medals. Glitches/ crashes. Awesome game when working but the amount of glitches I’ve been getting lately is wrecking the gaming experience for me especially when I’ve made a purchase with coins that you’ve earned during play time and mid way during purchase the game glitches and it shuts itself down and you return to the game your coins are gone but no items you purchase and it’s done this a few times. Can this be resolved in some way?

Great! but.... This game is so fun and addictive but after a while it gets repetitive. I love playing this game but I wish we could play in other maps and more troops. I know it’s still a pretty new game and I’ve only had it for less than a day but I feel like it can be much more. In conclusion this game is very good and is heading in the right direction, can’t wait for future updates! 🤗

Chapter 5??!!. I really appreciate all the extras you kept adding to the game, but for someone who finds the most enjoyable part of the game doing the chapters it’s been FAR TOO LONG since you’ve updated these. Really looking forward to chapter 5!

Worst Game I’ve Played. If you love pressing five buttons then merging stuff then pressing five buttons again this game is for you. The constant crashes were the best part of this game as it was a change from the monotony. “But what about the other modes?” You ask. A great question! The expedition is a cheap rip off of other games, ie mushroom wars, but without the functionality. All in all an exercise of boredom wrapped in frustration and run firmly left out

Potential but yawn.. First looks are promising, but the potential is completely wasted. Just endless click and view quick battles with no strategy. They had an bonus challange in the Headhunt section once that was far better than the rest of the game, where you battled to take over forts and towns. But it has never reappeared. In all, a very disappointing waste of potential.

Headhunt expeditions- please add more. Hey guys, I haven’t been playing long but I do enjoy the game so far. Especially the headhunt expeditions. It’s a good break from the repetitive battles. Can you please add new levels and more regularly? It’s the only part that really needs some strategy.

Need more info. The game is great I like watching the battle unfold but for most of the troops I have no idea what they do, you have a general description but that’s it, I would love to see how much the pilgrims heal you, how much the demons spell does and it’s cool down, the ghost assassins blade spell’s damage and cool down, and the necromancer Skelelton’s health and damage and cool down, I also have an issue with its degree of difficulty, I’m already at level 200 within a day and I’ve gained 10 hero boxes that are just sitting there, I feel like they take too long to open given how simple they are to get and how fast you can progress, there will come a stage where players will just have to simply wait out the days before they can beat levels again

Great game. This is a great game and I can’t stop playing it but I’ve got all the troops. I think you should make more troops. Its annoying that you can only have 1 hero in a battle you should be able to have 2 or 3 besides that I love the game please respond if I’m wrong

Game is alright. Bit annoyed that the actual game is not even close to what was advertised. At least ads aren’t popping up in your face every 2 minutes like other games.

Cannot play some of the ads. Thoroughly enjoyable. However when claiming for the more gold by watching the ad, some of the ads don’t work ergo missing out on the extra gold. Dunno if this is an iOS issue but because of it I cannot rate it any higher

Frustrating. The most frustrating game I’ve ever played. Played now for 9 months and haven’t made any ground in 6 months. At a battle field with an experience level of 96,000 am constantly beaten in battles by players with 60,000 experience level. You have no control of a battle or any aspects of the game. You simply sit and watch it all unfold.

I’m so disappointed. I started this game for couple days, already spent real money because I love the game. But I’m so disappointed of what I got in return, the game keep crashing every 5-10’. I already got crash twice just because I bought Purchase x30 with 240k gold. The gold got deducted but after I come back to the game, I got nothing, no x30 troops. Inconsistent methods. The game is very inconsistent with respect to how troops fair against other troops and how armies fair against other armies. There is no real methodology behind it. It’s as if someone gave a bunch of children instructions on how to create the game but because their children, they have no idea how to consistently apply the powers and abilities of troops and heroes so that a predictable outcome is available. This is separate from the fact none of it makes actual logical sense.

I like this game but I have a few issues: #1 the game has a bit too much ads I know it’s how you make money but it can be annoying . #2 it takes so long later in the game to get new characters . And the biggest problem my units won’t die making it have no challenge thus making it boring

GLITCHY!!. Damn! Lots of money, even VIP, game is glitchy. For instance, you get the point multiplier… but wait, not when you want to use it (the system is usually too busy for that). Then there is the automatic play… but wait, not when you are in headhunt missions. You build an awesome army… but wait, when fighting in the arena the only opponent options you get are not even beatable unless you have been at it forever. I do like it! Great team play! Wonderful fun competitions. Lots to do on your own or with the team. Overall, this could be so much better if it just worked without the riggings. We don’t need that crap! You know, spent way too much money on this one. Gonna let it go for now. Maybe other players paying for stuff will fix it one day and I’ll try again. For now, what a waste!

This game killed my iPad. I installed the game, didn’t like it but when I tried to exit I couldn’t. I couldn’t swipe up to go to desktop. I locked the screen and then couldn’t unlock. I had to hard reset my iPad to get it to work again

disappointment. game that needs improvement, several bugs, none of my chests can open, often the game is won and it does not show me the victory so I have to leave and restart the level, the characters are often buged and serve nothing on the game

Lost interest. I have a hard time getting into a game that allows other to buy their way through when I am not willing to pay. I would rather pay for the game once. Also found the game too repetitive and it started feeling like a was playing on a slot machine more than a video game.

Improvements.. I really enjoy the expeditions but the rewards are extremely cheap for how long each battle takes and the fact that it costs 1,600 gems to unlock the second row of rewards is ridiculous (unless I’m missing the fact that it only costs 1,600 gems once and then all 6 chapters are unlocked in which case that’s fair.) but it would still be nice to see improved rewards in the expedition maps. Also I know there is a game for the expedition maps but it would be nice at some point to see a couple new chapters on art of war : legions. Thank you!

Great game, but... The game really is amazing in all its depths and details, but I have some big issues with certain things pertaining the game. I like how the units seems to fight better in this new update however, much more loading before each battle.. zzz. Clans are a thing but it barely seems integrated into the game. The heroes seem interesting but there’s not too much you can do with them unlike troops. Hero Trials is awesome, but I feel like there’s no point in caring about the heroes even though they seem awesome because the game doesn’t do them justice. Also the devs can just change their stats ruining the experience for someone who spends money for that hero. Game really is awesome I’ve played it a lot, but would really like some more stuff to do with clans and heroes.

Great game but.... The game is great. Most important is that there is not any annoying ads and this game is not pay2win, but there is a problem which was very annoying for me... sometimes game would just crash but most of the times i ignored it... one time I decided to collect 240k points for 30 common troops, for a beginners 240k coins is hard to collect but I still decided to collect it. 2 days passed and I finally got the coins I wanted when I pressed buy, game crashed and when I joined back my 240k coins were gone and it didn't give me the troops. I hope you will be able to fix that problem.

Everyone has a favorite..... Hero but it seems it’s impossible to get any hero above a certain level. Aside from King Ivan and King Arthur (two hero’s you can buy levels for at anytime) the only way to level up other legendarys is through spinning the wheel or very low chance in the hero’s boxes. For example I prefer to use The nine tailed fox Aly but I have NEVER gotten her through the hundreds of hero boxes I’ve opened. I just happened to get her through the wheel. How is it possible to upgrade her any higher then I’ve gotten her now that she’s no longer a wheel prize? She’s great now at my level but once I get to the much higher levels I’m worried she won’t be able to compete at her current level against others. Is there anyway to increase the chances of getting her to higher levels without waiting for her to possibly show up on the wheel again? Thank you

I don’t like whoever the game because I do like the creativity of the game I don’t like how you make the game on honorable when I have no matching troops I have to take some out and place them in and then try and find a match but I just can’t and the money I can’t like I can’t make all of it in time I just keep losing and I think that’s the problem to other players because that is just humiliating and I hope to change it so then everyone will have a good experience with the game and when I played it it’s on honorable and what I mean by an honorable it said to me that I lost but it really didn’t happen that way for that reason it was an honorable because the red troops had way more attack troops so when they attack me they have over 200 troops almost 300 they had 291st and then it switched to 298 jeep so I hope the change to make the game easier and

Great game, needs some bug fixes. My favorite part of this game is the Expedition game. I see this is the best game of strategy. What I’ve seen though, is that the timed trials, around 180 or 200 seconds are too difficult while games in higher numbered rounds and levels are easier. I find myself flying through Chapter 4, but still can’t complete ones in Chapter 1. Also, the pause button in this game is fairly useless. I find myself having to hit it 6 times before it actually reacts. It’s the only button like that in the game. Also, why are you using green for quit and yellow for continue? Shouldn’t it be red to signify you’re ending the game? It’s just so counterintuitive.

Overall good game. Pretty fun if you’re in an active clan.. could be improved though. Seems like the game censors most words even if they aren’t profanity. The auction hall is a joke as you have no idea what prices things are being listed for so it’s not a true auction and the lack of a world chat feature where you could talk to other people that aren’t in your clan for recruiting would be nice because not everyone wants to use discord and Facebook groups for something like this. It is a fun game though that requires strategy in the later stages once you get stronger

Game improvements. On level 1400 good game. Have 50 on each chest. Too slow. Strategic. I think it could be better more strategic if we could point certain boxes the soldiers in different directions instead of letting them wonder wherever. Should be able to make a difference where your troops are set in how the battle plays out but all they do is storm towards one direction and that’s the battle. Should be able to point on the screen to where you want the arrows and bombs to go. That would be huge for the game. Control some of the battle and more strategic.

Enjoyed it until it became…. It’s a great game don’t get me wrong but the only way to win and earn things is to pay for upgrades and if you don’t do that it will be a very long grind. Response to a Dev response down below: I played the game for around 2-3 months. I did everything, Honor Hunting, Arena. Normal missions, which get you coins at a decent rate if you pay to avoid ads, gems, you don’t earn enough in normal to do anything. Then when you want to level a character past 8 it starts costing you even more brass shields or whatever they are which are hard to come by. To be competitive it’s a pay to win game, plain and simple.

Love this game BUT...... This game is super fun, and I’ve only been playing it a few days. But it’s super annoying that it keeps kicking me out after every round, or right in the middle of my game I play, and if I try and watch an add to get more coins or anything, it kicks me from the game and won’t let me watch adds. It’s getting to super annoying with it kicking me out. I can’t even play one round with out it kicking me. So I can’t even do most my quest because it kicks me out. I don’t know if it’s on the games end that does it or what. But It’s supper annoying!!!! I’m thinking of deleting it unless it can be fixed to stop kicking me!!!! I’d spend the money on the game if it didn’t kick me out. But I’m not putting money into something that won’t even let me play it.

Suggestions. Amazing game love it hence why I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this game I have a suggestion some thing that kind of bothers me is that you can’t save formations to have multiple formations I always have to remake them if you could do something about that that would be awesome and the store really needs some love on characters you can buy it’s the same six every time I want to be able to buy frost archers sacred swordsman you know the good cards I really love the game I’d also like to see undead soldiers and paladins in the shop as well thank you guys awesome game love it

Good game, but.... After playing to level 500, The game is pretty good, simple and straight forward. Here are a couple issues that I have. 1.After a certain level (no idea what it is because I’ve been past it for some time now), there’s no increase in winning prize. It stays at about 3000 coins and that’s it. Before that, it gradually increases throughout the levels which is great. 2. The headhunter challenges...come on. I’ve been able to beat the hard one before I even beat level 100. Provide additional/harder levels with more prizes. 3. The arena is alright. You can definitely see that how you arrange your army and the troops you choose do affect the outcome (I’ve seen complaints that there is not strategy, definitely not true). You can go up against someone with a significant advantage in troop power and still beat them because of how you set up your troops. 3.5. Other than that, the arena is pretty dull. 4. More options for things to do. Quests, tournaments, stories. Anything other than just playing mindless levels, a few headhunters and the arena. For a free tap game it’s not bad and kills time, but could use some improvements.

Adds. It’s cool, it’s strategic, it’s a good time when you want to waste time, the adds aren’t even that bad. And you can watch videos for coins. And for me the watching adds gives me a min to settle down so I can plan better and I get coins for it so it helps. It’s nice when it’s tense and the video was all you needed to upgrade to be more battle ready. Wish you could take more control of soldiers during battle. Like age of empires, click and direct. Sometimes retreating isn’t retreating it’s reforming. It lacks control of the battle field. When fighting a bigger army or a stronger army you need to be able to adjust and use a gorilla type strategic but it lacks that ability. It’s basic, but fun when ya just want to waste time. But it won’t keep you up all night plotting strategies. Because you can’t.

Very Fun and Fast Paced Game. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 days now and I love it. I just have one suggestion and hopefully you guys take it into consideration. Would it be okay if you guys could lower the times for ads? If not, I totally understand because that is a great way of making money to better your game even more. Very Fun Game! Would Recommend!. I have a lot of fun playing this game. The art and style is very nice. But the optional ads truly is genius! I know I know 30 second ads for 3x gold? Well if you don’t like the ads then play 3x more battles! While there are a few things I think could be fixed this game is overall a very great game. One of the things I think could be fixed is while I am battling you can see the Star with an Down arrow and a X from the barracks tab. I don’t know if that is intentional or not? These things are just some of the small things most games go through. If you don’t like these games with OPTIONAL ads go play Fortnite or some trash free game! This game is great!

Completely Different Than Advertised. I’ve seen lately a ton of ads of this “game” and it is completely different than what was advertised. Gameplay is just totally different and even the units look quite different. Game is pretty slow and is pretty much just a copy of Clash Royale which is better. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about glitches and people paying for things in the game that don’t even reflect on their account which I’m definitely not going to risk experiencing. Please, if you are going to advertise something of the game, advertise the actual gameplay of the game and if it is something that occurs later down the line, then don’t advertise it as if it is the gameplay seen in most of the game. Have some common sense.

shamefully pay-to-win. Following Latest Update, this game is shamefully pay-to-win. I’ve spent a lot of time (and, frankly, money) on this game, and while in-app purchases have always been a part of the equation, the recent changes make it impossible to advance, without shelling out a lot of money. Further, previously acquired (or purchased) features also appear to have been downgraded in an attempt to force users to spend more. I don’t fault any for-profit business, like the game’s developers, for wanting and needing to make a lot of money. I wish them all the success in the world, but there’s a point where customers rightfully begin to feel taken advantage of, based on certain behavior, and I believe we’ve reached it.

Best Free to Play Game out There. The first thing I want to address is how you don’t need to spend money for the game. Like other games, you can buy the best heroes and some good troops to boost your advancement, but, with some time, you can also get some pretty good heroes and Troops with no money. I also love the game in all, I can’t find any way to complain about it. I have experienced 0 glitches/bugs and the gameplay is so much fun. One thing I wish this game had is a friending system. For example, you can friend some people by typing in their id (and them accepting), then you can battle each other. The best game

Everything a game should be!. The title of the review says it all, other games should take notes from this game! First of all this game doesn’t overload you with advertisements. From what I’ve seen all the ads on this game are optional (i.e. to get a bundle of coins and such). Second, this game doesn’t have a stupid energy limit. You can play as long as you like! Lastly, you can actually progress in this game! There are so many games where I’ve been stuck on one level for days or even weeks, but on this game you rarely ever get stuck for an extended period. I’m confident that this game will improve if the admins keep up the good work!

Good game love it. This game is fun and has a long campaign if you call it that, the head hunts and arena and all that other stuff makes it an even longer game the troop pass I call it is nice but it does have a slight pay to win advantage, so if your one that can’t spend money and you play arena you can be at disadvantage. But all in all it’s fun. It does get a bit Grindy as the card draw price increases INSANELY FAST and as a new player it gets rough that where the pay to win comes in as you can buy so much coins. Any way love the game keep up the good work on it!

Love the Game...just a few thoughts. Enjoying the game but at higher levels it seems like it’s just a grind. If there was a more challenging PVE event like Headhunt but scaled for higher level players I think it would be a great addition. Also the cost of fusion at higher levels is a bit high. Very difficult to make progress without spending a large amount of money. Great game overall but if you could balance the higher level rewards a bit it would be that much better. I wouldn’t mind watching ads either if that was an option. Thanks!

Decent game but has flaws. I’ve played to level 550 now and played numerous headhunted and arena battles. I’ve found there’s a few issues that could be resolved to make the game more simple and flow easier. 1. Boxes: Take too long to open. I have 18 hero boxes I’ll never get to because it takes well over a day to open a Hero box and roughly 8 to open a troop box. That’s asinine. 2. There are no names to represent troops on the battle screen when trying to adjust your lineups, and the stars don’t mean it’s necessarily a better troop than another. Also, it doesn’t specify the number of troops each one produces to your fleet, and that’s bothersome. 3. Too many games now force you to pay to truly progress through the game, which is causing me and others to not play them as supposed to ones that are completely free. I did notice there’s no ads unless you are “earning” coins, but coins begin to be useless after a certain point in the game when you really need epic and legendary troops to fill out your fleet grid. These are just the few larger issues I could see. Otherwise it’s a fun game.

Love this game, but needs a big update.. This game is awesome. Period. All I have to say is a few this need to be added and fixed. Honor hunting has never worked for me. I’m not sure if it’s the same for anyone else, but I have played this game on two phones and it says no internet connection on both whenever I try to play. It’s not my internet. The game also needs to add the other options such as the guild and mystic stores. Both options have been “coming soon” for about more than a month now. Other than those two things, this is one of my favorite games, I highly recommend this!

Pretty cool. Pretty cool game, fairly simple, but I keep playing just to find the campaign end. On level 1751 and counting. No end in sight. Can anyone tell me how many levels are on campaign? It has actually gotten increasingly difficult from 1700 on. Makes it interesting. Would like to see a different way to layout troops, different designs. Also would be interested in having clans and clan battles and wars beyond the basic pvp. Maybe even increased troop cap beyond 7. It would be nice to have a way to recall all troops to the barracks to do a quick combine all or have the combine all include troops on the battlefield as well. Just my two cents.

Really fun and addicting game…. Fun game. Really addicting. I love the new updates and additions (auto play option is REALLY handy) and new changes to formations is great. One update that would be amazing is if you could add the ability to move entire troop lines (horizontal lines) up and down. You could have that icon with the three lines next to each row that you can tap and hold on and drag that line up and down, kinda like you can do with songs in a playlist. That would make adjusting armies so much easier and so much more efficient. Thanks!

Great, but we need more levels on Expedition. Missions 1-20 were AWESOME! Love the how troop movement is so easy and the game mode is very fun. I finished all 20 in less than a day... so like 20 missions times 365 days would be about 7300 missions. At least throw out a 100 missions per week (5days x 20 missions) that would be perfect. Great work! Hope to see more of these! Waiting for Chapter too *bitting nails* I wanna play already! Thanks! *UPDATE* Chapters 2 & 3 were great! Really challenging and perfect every single one! Honestly I just love that this game doesn’t bombard me ads, that’s why I decided to put some money into it, love the game a lot but i just got a few suggestions. -add some sort of castle defend where you get to position your troops sort of like a castle siege, instead of just troops vs troops i feel like it would make it more interesting. -the headhunt mission are too easy, kinda wish they would be harder than the campaign mission like really make em worth your while. I feel like the hero drop rates are kinda absurd but meh it’s alright.

Good, but the ads.... May 7 - Do devs want ppl not to play? Multiple reviews on here complain about the blue Jackpot ad crashing the game - yet it still appears regularly. I've stopped clicking ads (devs, that means no $ to you!) because of this issue. Really needs to be fixed. April 19 - [Devs responded and walked me thru a fix, so +2 stars] Arena now broken, so - *literally* - unplayable! And the blue "Jackpot" ad is back, that freezes the screen... At level 2977 so I've played a lot (and paid a lot) but I'm nearing the end of my patience. Original review: [Will raise to 5 stars if the ad issue's fixed.] At first I laughed @ people complaining about 30 sec ads -- it's not that bad. But at this point I'm level 1476, I've spent > $50, and I'm "VIP" -- so I shouldn't have to sit thru a 30 sec ad after. every. single. round. of. play. It's a simple calculus, devs - get a few tenths of a cent per ad and lose my (and others) future purchases and play... or reduce the ad burden for major / paying players and therefore continue to get $5, $10 and more daily purchases from us.

A fun addictive game although rather unbalanced. So I downloaded this game, played about 40 levels and really enjoyed it. I like supporting developers that make enjoyable free games, so I spent $5 and received the seasonal hero bundle which came with the clock man hero and some gems for in game purchases. The only problem with the hero is that he’s ridiculously overpowered, and five hours later I’m sitting at level 500 of the game just pressing attack again. I’d love to see some additional complexity added to the game, but for the price of free, it’s a fun little game that involves a bit of strategy that’s great to kill a little (or 5 hours 😳) bit of time.

Honestly way better than I expected!. I’ll be honest I downloaded this game because I was bored, what I did not expect was to be obsessed with it. I started 4 days ago and I’m on level 985 and counting! The ads are only optional and have no major impact on the game. It’s 100% free to play and is low key kind of addicting! My absolute only thing that bothers me a little is that VIP gets 2x battle speed. I used the trial and it’s hard dealing with how slow the battle can get, but that’s not stopping me from giving this a 5* review! Probably my favorite pick me up free game out there!

Good game, but crashes occasionally. I’ve had the game for going on a week and I must say it’s really fun. The beginning levels are nice because they are very easy making it enjoyable to play while learning the game mechanics. Overall it’s a fun game with simple but effective graphics. One issue I’ve been having is that it crashes from time to time, but this may be an issue with my phone rather than the game. It has also been lagging some during battles as I get to higher levels, but again, this is probably an issue with my phone rather than the game. Overall, I must say that it’s a fun game, and I would definitely recommend downloading it!

Misleading ads are different from actual game. First off I wanna say, I do enjoy playing the game that is offered. My issue with it is that in the ads(for “art of war”), the game looks like a combination;strategy game. It depicts you in different “maps” having to choose where to send troops and how to combine them EACH round. I downloaded it intrigued to solve all these levels, and then the game I received was completely different. The characters in the game aren’t even the same. But when you go to download it the prephotos do show you what you are getting. I guess I just don’t understand why the ads for Art of War are for that of a different game that isn’t even offered? Misleading. Would love to hear back.

A couple suggestions. Love the game. I’ve been playing it a lot. Giving this a 5 star because the game is enjoyable. But there needs to be some additions For your army, there needs to be a better method of changing your troops around. Maybe a name above the troop when you are moving them. Inquisitors, Scholars, Harbingers, Paladins and pilgrims all looks the same. Along with this, I’d love to see maybe a second load out for your troops so you can experiment with different armies for different fights. Next, make a more challenging mode where there is meaning. The arena is cool, but there isn’t enough incentive to use it other than for daily missions. Finally, more missions. You guys had that conquest thing in the Headhunt missions a little while ago. That was fun. Maybe something like that would be cool. Maybe a campaign style thing, or even a tower of power. Something to keep me playing longer. That’s all I got, I hope someone important reads this because I’d love to see it Thanks again -Ryan

Good Game, Small Suggestion. I really enjoy this game, it’s mindless button clicking when need be, and strategy when I want it. The game isn’t riddled with ads and plays very fluidly. The only request I have is as you progress through the generic battles against the in game enemies (PVE) is I do wish it would get a little more difficult, rather than you hit a certain amount of Troops and your guaranteed a win. I enjoyed the Valentine’s Day event where I could get to level 23 or so but would lose on level 24. I want to get beat by the computer simply because it has better troops, so I can have incentive to keep getting better Tripp’s myself!

New favorite game. I’ve played a few games on IOS over the years, and I think this is the first time they’ve gotten it right. It’s an addictively fun game without the annoying ads popping up on screen every 5 minutes. The premise is pretty simple but it makes it fun for hours on end. The second part to this, is that it’s a freemium game where you don’t get punished if you don’t spend the money. You can always spend a few bucks in app, but they aren’t constantly trying to get you to do it like other games. Well done :)

Very fun strategical game, yet developers are incapable of stabilizing it.. Very fun game that I’ve been continuously playing for the last 2 yrs. However, although game has been released for over 3 yrs now, developers are still amateurs . They lack ability to fix ongoing bugs and when they do, new critical bugs appear. After this 6.7.X update, balance of the game is terribly skewed. Before, top competitive players used to rotate 3-5 heroes. Now, only 2 are relevant in the meta. It is also very costly to upgrade troops to max level, but the developers render the troops that we devoted our 1-2 year time and effort into complete useless by one single patch that they say “movement mechanisms of troops are ‘fixed’ for a more realistic experience.” They are disrespecting and manipulating us players by gaslighting us to believe they’re in the right and we are in the wrong.

Ehhhh. The heroes don’t really seem to do anything that meaningful unless you spend a lot of $$$ or about 10,000 hrs playing the game. Saved a bunch of coins from honor hunting and clicked on what I thought was a troop and was actually a hero and blew 1800 coins on it on a level 1 hero that I’ll never use. Cant sell or get rid of heroes. I do not have 8hrs/day to learn what 50x different heroes do. Since I blew 1800 coins I just wait a few weeks to only play honor hunting to get more troops. It’s a fun game but they’ve made quite a mouse trap to engage you all the time. Could not be more annoyed about blowing coin on a hero, just means I will be playing less. And the cards you buy give you heroes half the time that, again do not do anything meaningful. Update: the developers actually seem to take input from these reviews and make changes which is refreshing, so thank you! I know you can’t please everyone but the fact they try by reading and replying to reviews is all I can ask.

Good but could be better.. So I started playing Art of War lately, and once I started to get good at, (around level 300) I tried to connect my Game Center account so that if anything were to happen, I could just sign-in with my Game Center and have my progress. But when I tried to log in, it just said “Login failed, please try again later” And then my iPad got wiped, and I had to re-install my apps and Art of War didn’t save my progress and I still couldn’t access my Game Center. So all I’m saying is, please try and fix the linked accounts for your game. If that is fixed, I say its a great game and I recommend it to everyone! Thank you for reading this suggestion

Pay to Win. Hey, So I’ve been playing this game for about 3 weeks now and definitely have noticed it’s a pay to win game. I like the game concept, but hate the game! First let’s start off with match making. Once you reach a certain level or trophies in the arena mode the game automatically puts you up agains players that are twice your level and strength. You can’t win at all unless you lose multiple times just to get a few people your level. They basically try to force you to spend money because you get mad when you loose 10+ times in a row. They do this in two different modes of this game! Second let’s talk about coins and gems you get in the game. You get very little coins in the game as is unless you watch some stupid 30 sec add to triple your coins. The coins it takes to buy troop cards is ridicules. Even if you do all the challenges they give you in one day it’s not enough to buy anything really. The process to upgrade you troops or heroes is super slow and they want you to pay for everything to get to a high level. I’m giving this game a 1 star cuz I hate pay to win games and don’t play them long at all. Hope they fix this in the future otherwise I won’t play it again.

Questionable Battles. In my opinion: I have been playing this for 3 years. I get beaten by armies that are much lower in value and power, yet I am unable to ever beat armies that are ranked higher in value and power. How is this possible?! There’s something wrong with this game. The developers will reply to this with an uncaring response saying that it’s about how the army is built or some garbage like that. Players need to have certain heroes in order to win, so everyone has the same hero. Certain troops are more powerful than the higher level troops, so you have to use certain troops. The armies have to look the same when you get to the top, or you will never win. Armies should be as powerful as their rank, but they are not. Fix it!!

Fun Game, but unplayable. I usually don’t write reviews, but I was hoping to get a answer about my game crashing. Every time I hope on, or attempt to play the game I crash, I have a iPhone7, which is not the newest but still performs well with mobile games. Theirs no problem with the game, very fun to play, and has a cool leveling up system with your hero’s and army, but after I reached about stage 55 my game crashes now even when I try to boot up the app. If a dev reads this please respond back, and maybe in the settings add a function for less graphics and FPS maybe to load the game better, I really want to see this fixed because the GAME HAS MAGGER POTENTIAL!!!!!

Double charged with no reward. I love the game. It’s a lot of fun. Recently I purchased a battle pass. The app said the purchase could not be completed, so I changed payment method. It said the payment could not be completed again. I checked both accounts and both had the charges as pending. I checked again 3 days later to see if they dropped off or process. I was charged for the battle pass on both cards. My game account still does not show that I have a battle pass. I sent an email to you at your “contact us” email that I found online because I wanted to refrain from posting the issue here. It’s been over a week and I have not received any reply. Please advise

Super Fun Game, Ads only if you want to watch them!. I honestly don’t think I’ve left a review on a game before. However this game was such a breathe of fresh air, that I felt compelled to. When reading reviews I noticed the developers took pride in producing a game where you can be successful without spending a dime or being spammed with ads. After reading that it peaked my interest and got me to download. I was very pleased to find nothing but truth in the developers statement. It’s a great time waster game that I truly enjoying playing!! The fact that they don’t spam you with ads makes me more likely to watch a few to triple my winnings or to take advantage of the free coins three times a day. Thanks guys for a great game!

This game is 99.5% micro-transactions, 0.5% gameplay. The main goal of this game is to get you to spend money. I’ve spent exactly $0, but that doesn’t stop the game from throwing new pop ups and notifications about bundles and other crap that are available for a “limited time” as to create a artificial sense of urgency. This all to say that the game doesn’t even resemble the ads they show for it. Within seconds of launching the game I was presented with an “amazing deal” of $99 to get all sorts of gems and goodies. Oh and then there’s the chance wheel which costs gems to spin so if you want to keep spinning that you’re going to, you guessed it, buy more gems. Finally there’s battle passes you can buy which let you increase your winnings from winning. I deleted the game at this point (again not spending a single cent) but I’m guessing the battle pass needs to be purchased for each “season” which I could only describe as the amount of time until the developers want to cash out on more battle pass funding. Awful game with predatory practices the likes of which I’ve never seen in a mobile game before. It’s disgusting.

Bad developer team, uneven game. Been playing for a few years as a time-waster and fun hobby. But the balance of the game is horribly skewed, and not just for pay-to-play. If you choose a hero that gets nerfed hard, it’ll take you months/years of grinding (or lots of $$$) to get another up to snuff, only for that one to get nerfed as well. Dozens of heroes, but top players typically only rotate 3-4, as the other ones are basically useless. Hopelessly uneven “strategy” game that becomes disheartening and off-putting, rather than more engrossing. On top of that, mods on their Discord server delete negative feedback to keep criticism from spreading. Biding my time, but nearly ready to call it quits. Glad I never spent money on it! Edit: And they can’t even be bothered to write original responses to reviews, just reheated pablum. Oh well.

Really fun but there’s a few problems. So my first problem is that beuwulfs ability is bad and it really needs a buff. He’s supposed to have a temporary defense but when he uses it but he takes so much more damage than normally. I don’t want to be a debby downer but it not worth so many gems for a guys ability is barely helping. I’m not going to lie beuwulf is still good but his first ability makes him not so good for a lengandary i just hope i’m not missing his potential. Also please make it cheaper to spin wheels or pick cards from different event i understand that lengandarys are supposed to be rare but the gem cost is a lot.

Love the game but glitchy and customer service is poor. I love this app, used to play it all the time but it started crashing on me randomly. It has now crashed twice immediately after purchasing a ten pack of troops for 240k coins. When the game loads back up my coins are gone but I don’t receive any troops. The sent “feedback” explaining what happened the first time and was given back the 240k coins I lost but was also told that the game doesn’t work well on iPhone 7 and to play on a newer phone... the second time I was told that the customer service team wasn’t authorized to return my coins a second time. I don’t think it’s reasonable to have to buy a new phone for this app not to lose my progress. Pretty disappointed

Not CoC but still more than exceptional.. Christmas quiz is off. You ask in depth questions that most players cant answer correctly as the game isn’t enticing enough to know the answers to the question. Ive been playing this game for a while now but still lack general knowledge. Its actually irritating to me that ive been playing for 8+ months and still lack general knowledge. I am level 149 in CoC and havent played the game in 2 years. Logged thousands and thousand sof hours in that game.. cant seem to get the same grasp with Art of War but i still love the game. Good job.

Exactly what I was looking for. Ive been craving a medieval-style war based strategy game, and this is shockingly spectacular. This game has 2 main styles (as far as ive gotten) one of them a 3D battle simulator which is entertaining to watch and organize, and while it can be a bit too easy, it goes by quickly, so it’s not really boring. The other mode is a strategic capture the territory style game, which I thought was boring at first, but the more you play it, the more thought you give to all the parts, and it genuinely feels like you are a general in a war, and I cannot explain how satisfying that is. Thank you for making this game.

Very addicting. I started playing Wednesday morning and i couldn't put my phone down to stop! Finally a game that you can play as often as you want and only watch ads when you want a rather size-able reward. I appreciate how easy it is to get coins and troops without having to spend any money and be able to progress without having to pay. I think it would be really cool to have a sand box mode where you could customize your enemies layout to better arrange your own troops for future battles. I think this would also allow you to get a feel for the strength of each individual unit.
