Great app, some functionality not yet active.. Great app, and have yet to encounter and crashes or issues as have been the case with previous VRTP apps. Despite being published in the App Store the app is currently in testing, as such the Virtual Que functionality is not yet active at Sea World or Wet n Wild.

Removed all my valid tickets. Was in line for spooky nights and when we got to the head of the line all the tickets were removed from the app. We are frequent visitors and long term locals that continued our patronage even during cocos. If you are going to play stupid games like this just give us the option for the physical cards. Also the fast pass times out each time we use it and fails to add a spot for us. Very disappointed. Do better

Not as bad as people are saying. This app was not very helpful, the wait times were much shorter than stated, the map was a bit confusing and I found the one at reception to be more helpful. The virtual cue is incredibly expensive, and not that worth it to skip a 40min wait for $30 each. However, some features such as ride descriptions and thrill ratings were helpful. It was not very buggy in my experience however we only used this for one park and one day so bare that in mind

Ticket purchase problems. Have had so much drama trying to buying 5 tickets for a dinner/show at Outback Spectacular! Would be a lot easier if the design starts with date/time first then if tickets are available to go through meal choices. Instead this works the other way around. Go through the whole process of ordering meals for the group only to get to the end and find unable to proceed due to tickets sold out or errors. Rang help desk and they advised this happened as tickets are sold out. Tried multiple days and shows (including Paradise Country for Koala Breakfast experience) and still same issue. Gave up in the end. Bought family experience tickets elsewhere. Need to work on a more user friendly approach for this app for ticket ordering!

Unable to add tickets. My tickets say they have been successfully added but unable to view them despite saying barcodes have been scanned and added successfully, which makes it difficult to utilize app features and means I’ll still have to line up to sort out the issue instead of walking through the gate with my pre-purchased tix!

Not very good at all.. I find the app to be very clunky especially when it comes to purchasing item through their store, such as packages etc

Doesn’t store my ticket. After using this app in June it has now deleted my ticket from the app and I have to re-add it which is quite frustrating having to go through emails to get the ticket number again.

Waste of money. We bought the 3 park package, with a few extras, each park’s virtual queue is full before the day starts. Lots of rides closed and shows/attractions not available, or not able to handle the amount of people there 👎

Useful app, passes won’t persist. This is a useful app, however my annual pass disappears on a regular basis and requires me to sign out and sign back in again for it to reappear

Sea World Review. I love Sea World so so much it’s an amazing place and adventure to go on and I highly recommend going, you will never ever and I mean ever regret it it’s definitely worth your money. I LOVE SEA WORLD SO SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️

Keeps dropping tickets out and can’t virtual queue. Have to keep putting tickets back in and filling out same info. Virtual queue worked once at movie world but not at sea world. Good idea but poor performance

Truly terrible. On top of having a show stopping bug where the tickets you add are removed moments later the app is in desperate need of some UX love. It is hard to navigate and extract the information you need. This app should be pulled but I guess they have a captive audience with no competition.

Easy to use. The app is very easy to use and is super helpful. My favourite part about the app is the map. I think it is cool because it is just like google maps or any other type of maps you use

Ok but. It looks very useful, but what about my kids’ tickets. If I put them all on my phone, then my wife can’t take the kids without me. The response was to add all the children’s tickets to both devices. We have an extended family where any of 5 children might go with any of 6 adults. To put them all on 6 adults devices seems crazy. What if one adult doesn’t have a smart phone? Or one that doesn’t support this App. I wish I’d known this crazy arrangement before I bought 11 tickets. I would have gone to Dreamworld instead!

Keeps deleting ticket barcodes. Not a bad, but extremely frustrating to have our tickets deleted from the app. We’re having to scroll through emails to find the originals.

Works Great Just a Single issue. My ticket disappeared off my account luckily i had screenshot it prior otherwise i would of lost it completely after a single use.

Tedious experience. Set a lot of time aside to navigate through this app and renew any pass. Confusing, difficult to follow and if you forget your password from a year ago - good luck to you. Insert a whole barcode to try and renew your annual pass - ridiculous. PayPal system doesn’t work. Stood outside SeaWorld with a screaming toddler for half an hour just trying to get a pass on this app. Make it easier PLEASE.

Frustrating App. Hello, so this village roadshow app doesn’t seem to store the passes for long, we have annual passes and every single time we want to go to one of the parks the passes have disappeared from the app so we have find the paper copies (which is nightmare) to upload the passes over and over again. Very clunky app

Not good for value. VQ is a lie. Got this app because of VQ function(virtual queue). But at the movie world, they don’t recognise it. Ended up waiting in the queues all the time any way. And this is in the middle of a very warm day during Easter. What’s the point then? Better get fast track instead? 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Poor app. I found this a poor app. Navigation is frustrating and not straightforward. Visuals are fine but font choice is and colour choice wrong. Looks amateurish. I have annual pass and have one for grandson. Confusing to work out process. Home page should have drop down or similar menu. After frustrating attempts to follow complex instructions I have exited App and have asked staff to help at ticket office. They have not been trained and haven’t got a clue. Professional development of staff or a help line at theme park would help. On top of this virtually every nickname comes up as taken including exotic variations. It almost as though key words are leading to censorship of negative reviews. I have tried at least 30 variations. I am certain the review is being blocked as I have given a 1 and only will go through if I give a false rating of 3 or above.

Won’t let me sign in. I have an account and tried to log in when it downloaded and won’t sign me in says something went wrong tried changing password it won’t let me do that either. Deleted app and tried again still not working.

Add to Apple wallet feature would be a dream. Having the pass in the wallet would be amazing.

Miss a paper map. Should at least give customers the option of a paper map and info given the cost of entry. Don’t want to download yet another useless app and spend time staring at my phone when on holidays

Frustratingly buggy. Used this over 5 days for Sea World, Wet and Wild and Warner Movie world theme parks. Every day it lost my added tickets. Sometimes twice a day. Keep your paper tickets with you. Another family member on iOS had the same problem. The virtual queue system sounds great in principle but never found one available to use, they were always full. So it was unusable. Occasionally, queue times are completely wrong eg 5 minutes and then next refresh it is 120 minutes. Don’t get excited when you see low wait times, they are almost always wrong

Good app. I love this app for all my village roadshow needs. It has everything and my 6+ kids all enjoy paradise country the most! Highly recommended!!!!

The tickets disappeared… 🤷🏻‍♂️. So after purchasing multi day passes and adding these to the app we went to a park for the day. Following this first day the tickets disappeared from our profile leading us to believe they were no longer valid and our money was wasted 🤦🏼 After sitting about with our heads in our hands for about an hour wondering how this could of happened, deliberating spending yet more money so as to not upset our already amped up children, did we realise the passes were in fact still valid and could be added again. Why the freak would they do this?!?!

Good but needs work. The “Wait Times” should be available regardless of being in the Theme Park or Not because I’m not going to waste time going if it is going to take 2+ hours to get on a ride it’s a waste of time and money

Works well for basic information. One Pass integration broken. Can get show times, suitable rides etc. Map is quite helpful. Annual Onepass integration, need to add the ticket every time you open the app. Virtual queue does not work.

Keeps losing tickets and preferences. Doesn’t keep scanned tickets and looses preferences every few hours. Tried restarting app multiple times and rescanning tickets. They get added then eventually disappear again and again

Mr. Unhappy. Wow, truly unnecessary step by step by step process. Process accessed in app redirects to web so I needed to load receipt number back in app to access passes. No family pass available. Deceptive price listing (no comparison, no child price)

Counter intuitive app. App needs to be more ‘friendly’ to the user. Currently app is not very usable despite that we are required to have that app to enter parks. I tried to add my tickets couple of times and got “tickets were added successfully” message, however I’m not able to see tickets in the app. Bug or feature? If for some reason you don’t want to show tickets would be nice to have a message “these tickets have been already added” or if there’s something wrong with tickets would be nice to see that ‘bad’ message too.

Terrible first experience. Right after opening app, the “Allow access” button doesn’t work. Have to choose to “turn on later” for location services which is also impossible. Which leads to a very very frustrating experience when you’re surrounded by hundreds of people in the middle the park and all you want to know is where you are and the ride wait times.

E-tickets disappear and full of in accurate info. Don’t leave your paper tickets behind - loaded tickets randomly disappear. And don’t believe the multiple banners claiming “four new attractions open” - we visited the park and none were open.

Current ride closures not reflected in app. I’m at wet & wild today and one half of the park and the rides In them are closed. These are still showing up as open in the app. I was at SeaWorld yesterday and same problem. Way more closures than the app reports. It’s almost not worth visiting the parks while they are not advertising how many rides are closed.

Extremely painful. I tried to book tickets for one person and it wouldn’t accept the credit cards and was extremely painful and hard to use and just wouldn’t work. It has been a lot more hard that it needed to be. I would rate it Zero stars but that isn’t an options so one is ok i guess

Rubbish. Your app is complete rubbish. After going to the park for 2 days and lining up for hours just to barely ride anything through the day unless you pay per ride, I can say your app is rubbish. The fact you can’t check queue times before you go to the park so you don’t waste your time is unbelievable. The app is never update, physical line queues are not accurate to the lines per ride and that’s all day and all rides

I want to see wait times. When I was downloading the app I was expecting to view the wait times and didn’t realise I had to be inside the park. It would be much more helpful if I could view the wait times at home.

Inaccurate wait times, spotty location tracking. I got to the park quite early and saw the wait time for Wild West falls was only 5 minutes. I wouldn’t have gone on it otherwise, but I thought short wait that’s alright I’ll do it. I am still in line an hour later. I checked the app as I was going into the line and it said 10 minutes, updated 4 minutes ago. Suffice to say it was ridiculously inaccurate. I’ve been in the line too long and I reckon I still have 20 minutes or more to wait and I’m not going to have wasted my time and money to wait in a line for so long for a ride that I didn’t even go on. I’m so upset with this app. It’s ruined my day within the first hour of being here. I’m content with waiting an hour or more for a thrill ride, but for the log ride I went on when I was 7, absolutely not. Thank you for this amazingly accurate app that wont even let me see wait times for other rides because it doesn’t think I’m in the park despite being in one building for over an hour.

Annual membership. App looks good but I am confused. We have annual membership but I don’t think you can enter /retrieve them as the options says “tickets and vouchers” but not annual passes. I can’t locate our physical annual passes so not sure what to do. Thanks and good luck with the reopening !

Restrooms search not an option. I loved the listing of shows and attractions but was surprised that the map had no option to search toilets or change rooms.

Difficult to navigate. Deletes all tickets after checkin at first park so make sure you keep hard copies! This was very frustrating as our fast track and hunger busters were also deleted!

Inaccurate wait times. Says 5 mins for a ride but reality was 30 mins. Also it asked for location access but then couldn’t automatically determine what park I was at. A paper map would be just as good instead of this app, I guess they are hungry for the sweet sweet analytics.

Apple watch. It would be good if i could access my pass on my apple watch so i can leave my phone at home.

Needs work. App wipes tickets if you move between theme parks. Staff are aware of this and the work around is logging out and logging back in again. No plans to fix the bug. Attraction wait times are on average twice what the app states.

Virtual Queue. Dear CEO, Virtual Queue for the rich, ruins the experience and creates a gap as the rich can skip to the front. Parks have gotten greedy and have forgotten what a day out with the family is all about. There’s still a generation or two out there that can’t use smart phones. Wake up.

Poor development. The tickets are great but the app is clunky and goes into a backend browser to do any loading. I get constant freezing when I go to buy tickets. App can definitely be improved.

Defective Time-wasting App. Other than for viewing theme park maps, this App is a waste of time. I carefully followed the instructions and entered all tickets to claim the free Virtual Queue entitlements only to have the tickets continually disappear from me. I restarted, reloaded, reentered retried and even repeatedly wrote to the Village Theme Parks ‘App help’. After wasting all that time, they responded with ‘see Guest Services’. So best you take their advice and just go see Guest Services each time you arrive at each park. Otherwise you’ll waste your time and Virtual Queue opportunity every time. Should have gone to Fiji!!
