Great thing but syncing problems. So today I tried to sync my data to FIFA but it said it wasn’t connected to internet but it was, so I deleted it and did it again and it worked, but pls fix this.

Ok, but not choose on units. So far, this is ok. But it only shows you the info in km/h and km. I know most of the world uses SI units but there should be an option to switch (like the old micoach app did) . I have called support and there is no such option.

I love the idea. But it’s executed poorly. Like all first versions of products with high potential there will be teething problems but there are so many issues with it from not tracking shots, counting c.40% of kicks, app crashing during firmware updates (multiple times in a row), poor communication in the app assuming it’s a bot, I could go on. I love the idea and think there is a huge upside and potential to this device but not this version unfortunately.....I’m happy to keep buying new versions if they increase usability and correct tracking.

Wouldn’t Really Know Can’t Get it to Pair. Bought this for my son’s birthday. Was excited to open and try it out, but couldn’t get it to sync and pair with dominant foot. Tried multiple times on multiple devices and still doesn’t pair. Please let us know when an update to the app will come out to fix the bug; was really was hoping to give this a good review!

Not syncing. Theres a problem with the tag not syncing to the app

Not worth the money, the product doesn’t work as advertised.. I’ve had constantly and consistent problems with the product like; • the app doesn’t work properly - sometimes pairs the tag, sometimes doesn’t. - syncing is very frustrating because the tag appears connected but it doesn’t do anything. - the help in chat is somewhat useless because the person at the other end works for adidas, so some of them don’t have much knowledge about the tag GMR product. • in app shows the data but that doesn’t match with the data in game.

Mph. It’s a great app, I’ve been progressing slowly and my only concern is that there isn’t setting which I can change from kilometers per hour to miles per hour

Works very well. I use these for every match and practice. Stats are accurate. Syncs to fifa well. The only negative is that you can only see your stats in kph not mph but all around accurate and you can’t even feel the chip.

Sync Issue. Last night the email verification issue was resolved. Thank you for fixing that. The new issue is that my data is not syncing. I synced once today, but after 5 my data was not syncing because it said that my phone isn’t connected to the internet. My phone is connected. Please fix this issue.

Here for FIFA. I just downloaded the app so I could get a player in Fifa and it is complex to find where to go I would like it if there was easier access to just getting the player Thanks

Doesn’t Work. Over and over I am receiving an error stating the app can’t find the GMR. Removed the app and reinstalled several times. It connects and then a short time later totally fails and won’t connect again.

Neither the registration nor login process work. After completing all the device pairing and firmware updates, the app won’t even let me use it without registration, which seems to have issues. Registering a new email login does not work - throws an error when setting up the password. If I register through the website, it won’t recognize the password and throws another error. If I try to reset the password, it does not do anything either. Finally, at least me at least use the thing without the registration process.

GMR stopped syncing and updating stats. Right around the third week I started using it suddenly it ask for the phone to connect to a network but it is connected, and doesn't sync or load previous stats. I deleted the app and downloaded again but lost my data from that day, even though it loaded the previous weeks worth of data. Please fix it as it turns the tag basically an annoyance to use.

Not reliable. Had GMR 4-5 times I played soccer .Every time it showed total distance 0.6 miles when my Apple Watch had 7.2-7.4 miles .I don’t have another device to compare touches , ball speed or my own speed , but comparing distance makes me feel that all stats are wrong . Sometimes it takes 10-15 times before you can connect to gmr . I never thought I will have bad reviews for Adidas , but it is how it is when you do something with google

GMR. The GMR dybala card is so OP the app is great getting much better at soccer and running speed!

Connect to strong foot. When it gives me the option to chose which foot is my strong foot it’ll just say updating failed

Not syncing. So I got the GMR tag for my birthday and I’ve tried for two days trying to get it to connect to my phone but I can never get past the part where it asks for your strong foot naturally being left footed I clicked on the left clear and pressed done but it keeps on saying failed to update stronger foot and I can’t finish the syncing I’ve tried 3 factory resets and have delegated the app multiple times and have emailed the adidas GMR team and I haven’t gotten a respond I want this product to work so please respond if you have a fix.

Constant Issues with Syncing. If the sync issue was not a problem than this would get 5 stars.

Needs improvements. Need to include weekly graph and more options

Still no fix. They should know a lot of people are having this bug that we can’t sync due to “connection error”, and they still don’t fix it. Used the chat in the app and they act like it’s the first time they have heard of the problem. Regret buying it.

Doesn’t sync. It doesn’t really sync and shows a bit of stats after updating it 20 times. So far useless

Wouldn’t recommend. App is constantly having bugs, they fix it with an update but almost a week later it persists again not letting my sync

Adidas GMR. I enjoy this experience too much! It’s fun for competition and just to see how you do to improve as a player. Great job adidas! Phenomenal.

Cant change stats. Very accurate but the app wont let me compare any stats other than kick speed against the community. There is no way to change off of kick speed to view other stats of the pro players or the community.

Good app but one problem for me. I got the adidas GMR package today and I decided to try it out and I like how you can connect to fifa mobile and it gives nice interesting stats. Also I love the leaderboard feature and how you can compare to professional players stats. However my one setback right now is its in kilometers and I live in the United states and I would prefer Miles per hour and miles. It isn’t that big of a problem but that’s why I will not give 5 stars right now

Very poorly executed. The hardware and software integration is just plain bad it doesn’t track most of the time and shows it’s disconnected even though it’s connected and fully charged when you think that your stats are being recorded only to later comeback and see that barely anything has been recorded since it’s kept disconnecting throughout a session as an idea has great potential but under the hands of adidas who don’t make software or hardware the integration and experience take a massive hit to a pretty great idea of a product maybe actually invest in a proper dev team to get the integration sorted out as for the hardware guess that can’t be helped considering google make bad quality hardware and adidas doesn’t make any hardware

Love the idea. And I was excited to use it. Everything during pairing the tag with the GMR app was fine until I got to choosing my strong foot. It kept saying “an error occurred while updating the stronger foot”. My wifi is fine. I tried factory reset and started over but the same thing happened. Chat support was no help either.

Stronger Foot Error. Once I put in all of my information and went to the next thing about stronger foot. And whenever I selected the right foot and would say “Updating Falied” and then it would say “An error occurred while updating the stronger foot.”

Awesome but stoped working. I have been using it a lot recently and then out of no where it stoped syncing it said your phone has no internet connection even tho i had internet. i hope this gets fixed because i love checking my stats it’s a cool idea and well designed and comfortable. Please fix the syncing issue!

It says that There is a problem when I choose which foot I play with. When do the thing to tell which foot you shoot with, it says that there is a failure to update.

Crazy accurate. I love using these at soccer practice or when testing my skills. I really works. The only thing I would suggest is that they should add an option for mile not just kilometers.

Great Concept, Poor Execution. I love this idea, but it’s barely usable. A few times I returned from a 3 kilometer run only to find that the unit hadn’t actually tracked any of my activity. Then there’s shooting the ball. I’ve taken 200+ shots and it recorded all but one as passes. Just idiotic. And now it’s started telling me that my phone isn’t connected to the internet, so it can’t sync. (Spoiler alert - I’m posting this review from my phone. On the internet.) I contacted customer service to see if they could help and they acted like they’d never heard of such issues. All one has to do is look at other review in the App Store here to see that other people have had the identical issue. Very poor support of a very poor item. If I had it to do over, I’d just get a Fitbit.

Still can’t set up due to app issues. So we can pair the tag with the app but cannot set up because the app keeps failing at selection of stronger foot. Have been fighting issues with tag/app since Christmas. Regretting this purchase BIG TIME

Useless. Doesn’t allow you to register due to a glitch with the email check in setup. Disappointed with Adidas on this one!!!

There is an error when I try to set up my strong foot.. Everything was fine until I was told to set my strong foot for the profile. It gave me an error message which said “Updating Failed. An error occurred while updating the strong foot.” And I couldn’t proceed with using the product.

App doesn’t sync anymore. Used the tracker and app for a few weeks flawlessly. Now when trying to sync, the app says “Syncing…” endlessly with no completion. Past stats and community stats are no longer viewable either. Perhaps a server issue on Adidas’ end?

Overall good but needs more settings. I like the idea and it works well but it needs a conversion on the settings to switch from kilos to miles.

Sync Issue. I loved GMR until now. Lately it didn’t save my progress and sometimes I need to delete and install the app over and over. Please fix it!

Cannot pair up. Since 31dec, When I sync the GMR it says my phone not connect to internet which is not correct. I then uninstall the app and reinstall, it fail to pair up. I have 5 friends in the league that have same issue.

Ultimately disappointed athlete. I think this has a long way to go. Even if the stats were a representation that’s great...but now it has just stopped working or recording. I’ve reinstalled the app a half dozen times with all her “stats” not recorded. My 10 year old daughter is a ‘high level’ athlete and this was supposed to be that individual motivation; alas this has been a huge disappointing Christmas gift, after having been the “cool dad”. It questionably recorded for a about 3 months, now it’s just a rock in her shoe. Let me know when you have a fix.

Stopped working properly. Worked great the 1st time. Since then it’s had trouble tracking speed and distance. Very frustrating because it’s a great concept.

Sync issue persists. We’re using 1.2.2 and still can’t sync. We’ve logged out and reinstalled app still doesn’t work. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Good when it worked. had a great experience for the first couple if uses but the app won't pull up the most recent synced data. Hasn't worked in months

Please fix your app. I got the tag yesterday and it worked fine when I synced it to the Fifa app. Today I tried syncing it but it said my phone wasn’t connected to the internet even though I could see it was. I deleted the GMR app and then reloaded it but when I put my email in it said that the “email verification failed”. I reloaded the app on another phone and it said the same thing.

Unsatisfied, not worth the money. In the app and on here it states, “It's able to measure the number of kicks, shot speed, run speed and total distance run.“ And no where is there a way to access your shot speed, running speed, or anything related to that. Sure it’s cool that I can connect to fifa but as a player looking to get better I would like to know information like this in order to see what I need to work on and then compare this information later on. So I would not recommend this as it did not do what it Adidas said it would do, very disappointed.

PLEASE FIX. The syncing is crazy. First month it was fine but these weeks it’s saying internet issue and it won’t sync. I’ve deleted it and got it again and it works after but today it didn’t work again. PLEASE FIX THIS inconsistency.

Good but few changes. Great app and good stats Please add a setting to be able to change the measurements from km/h to mph Also this would be a great Apple Watch app if you could make it one Finally change it so you can turn off fifa connections I don’t play the game and do not want to have to click “later” every time I open the app

Good but won’t connect. I’ve tried connecting my tag and it will pie but once I get to the final step of setting up my dominant foot which is my right it says update error. Can figure this out. Can someone help me?

Frustrating. Frustratingly slow to sync, why can the app not store older data and make this available straight away and only sync new data. Please update the FAQs in the app to remove references to FIFA Mobile if it is not required anymore. I just downloaded the FIFA Mobile app to try and help a slow sync and the FIFA app forces you to play a lot of academy before you can even adjust any settings. It is disappointing that it traps you into playing and therefore encourages in app purchases from EA. This could be a great app to use and compare with friends but if you try and show anyone it takes too long.

Frustrating. The product was great to use until end of 2022, unfortunately, the GMR cannot sync properly and connect with the app anymore.

No Data. I would like to see data such as passing, movement and sprinting on the official app not just FIFA Mobile. It is very frustrating having to log in every time.

Doesn’t register?. The app doesn’t allow you to register your account, continually it’s says “failure to register”. Sure this will work perfectly once it allows you to make an account

Chip Not Connecting. It worked well the first few days but today I tried connecting my statistics but it comes up as 0.

Can’t connect to two devices. Pls make sure it can connect to two devices bc I downloaded it and set it up on my iPad but know I can’t set it up on my phone

Please put all of the stats in!. As the GMR chip is great, the app is not. Through the app, you cannot see every stat like your sprint speed, how far you’ve ran, shot power, how many shots and how many passes. Through FIFA mobile it also only shows one of those per week and only the best you’ve done. Please make adidas GMR able to show you EVERY STAT from the session, otherwise the adidas GMR is not much use.

Disappointing. Super cool idea (hence why I bought it), terrible in reality though. Far too many syncing issues. We have 2 in my family and both are a disappointment.

Needs work. The concept is brilliant, but the execution not so much ... Because you can’t see any of your data, it makes it very difficult to tell where there is a tag issue, sync issue or you are simply not meeting the requirements of the challenge in FIFA mobile (which tends to be vague anyway with terms like “shot in the box” or “hard cross” rather than a useful metric”. Adidas support has been excellent though, can’t fault them so far while working through why some days all of the moment (sprints, jogging) will show up in FIFA but zero kicks, while other days hundreds of kicks will show up. It is mystifying and frustrating ... hence a 3. The concept is brilliant though!

Bought for my 13 year old but he is blocked from using it. I bought this for my kid but had no idea he would not be able to use is with his FIFA Mobil game app. It says you have to be 13 but when we tried to pair it with his FIFA Mobil account it would not work and said “Must be 13 to use GMR”. He is 13 so I’m not sure why it won’t work. Very frustrating as now it can’t be returned because it is opened.

It’s okay. I’m glad that I’m able to see my stats and such. But sometimes the GMR doesn’t record what I’ve done. I’m really curious as in what my ball speed and sprint speeds are but this doesn’t record that sometimes. On the app it shows that Ive walked/jogged/ran a total of 2km in the last two days and on the FIFA mobile app it says I’ve ran 6.7k in the last two days. Like what’s up with that?

Pointless. This app basically became useless once they ended their partnership with fifa mobile … also the tracking was barely accurate when it was available

Gmr App not working. The GMR tag and app were working perfectly until recently when I had issues with stats being randomly changed even after I had went home and put my cleats away, weekly goals randomly deleted as if they never happened and now the app won’t load any stats I’ve made sure the tag has been connected and synced but now nothing is loading.

Terrible. This thing barely works and even on the 10% chance it records any activity and connects to your phone, it always records that data wrong. Ive ran multiple 2.5k+ runs without a single session recording and played for hours outside to only have 20 passes record. This thing is terribly unreliable and inaccurate and the “AI” is about as smart as my puppy. This device also has no use beyond the fifa mobile app, such a narrow scope of use for $55. Absolutely pathetic product.

The app doesn’t work at all. The app won’t let me get passed the sign up/sign in page. Completely broken.

App is okay, but needs more work. I see the potential of the data being recorded, but they way it is displayed can be improved. For example, it would be nice to see compared statistics not only for the ball speed, but for all other variables. It would also be nice to see a complete history of your statistics without having to click on a specific day (e.g., week, month, year, total) like most sports apps out there.

Nonstop loading since iOS 16. Only giving a 1 star because I cannot see my data when that’s the only main feature… I got the GMR device roughly 2 weeks prior to the new ios16. It was working fine till I updated to the latest iOS. The app opens and the sync status shows that it’s synced, but the specific data underneath is in a forever loading animation.

I never write a review, but new update GREAT!. Finally can see all the stats, filter by day and timerange! That is what I was waiting for! Great job!

Love the idea. Cool product but worked one time and hasn’t synced/worked since. It’s been a real waste of time and money, support was no help either.

Data. How do I actually see the data?

Charge for five min is pissing me off. Got this for Christmas and read the reviews to find if anyone else has had the same issue as me and I find it funny that all the bad reviews are people who got it to work I’ve charged it for 6 hours using multiple blocks to charge it and when I try to connect is says charge it for five minutes I can’t even use this

Unreliable. More often than not this does work. I don’t know if it’s the app or the hardware. But very unreliable and user unfriendly

Mmmmmmm. It’s says my phone isn’t connected to the WiFi but it is and I message y’all but y’all are taking too long to text me back (3days+) I got to start my grind!

Sync Issues. This app worked fine until four days ago (12/31/2020) when it stopped sync any data noting that “The phone is not connected to the internet” but the phone is connected. I have tried it on LTE and multiple different WiFi sources with the same result. Support Chat had no answers for it, but this appears from an internet search to happen a lot with this app so there should be a fix for it or an explanation.

Disconnects. I bought this and when it’s only 3 feet away from me it disconnects and won’t track what should I do?

Disconnects and needs to be right next to my foot to keep connected. I just bought mine a day ago and i already set it up and when I am ready to play or practice it disconnects and have to put my phone right next to my show in order to stay connected.It disconnects even tho my phone is in my hand.Other than that I would give it a 5 star rating
