Works well but would make a few changes. I love The DW and their app seems to work really well. It’s got a lot of functionality, and I haven’t noticed any bugs or serious problems. However, I really wish it supported a permanent landscape mode instead of only while reading an article or watching video. That’s the primary way I use my iPad and how my case stand works so it gets annoying changing from portrait mode on the front navigation screens to landscape when I select an article (I know - “ugh, 1st world problems” — but I frequently choose to use the website instead of the app because of this). The other quirk that I don’t like is how the “return” arrow changes which corner it’s in depending on which content page you’re on. It’s a very minor annoyance but I wanted to provide some genuine consumer feedback.

The most accurate information you will get.. I am a subscriber to the Daily Wire with that being said I will make this review as unbiased as I can. Listening to the Ben Shapiro show is great, he always presents the information first and then provides commentary or opinion, it is very common these days to hear news anchors explain a story or information with their own interpretation of it, this is not the case here, Ben also encourages listeners to get utilize other sources for information to hear other perspectives. What other news station of information source actually tell the people consuming it to listen to a different perspective? Not many, if any at all. I very much enjoy the newest addition to the app, Morning Wire. Morning Wire is great as all the info for the day is served in less than 15 minutes, perfect for the morning coffee or the short commute. I’m very satisfied with the app as the developers continually try to improve it. Thank you.

Frustrating. Let me preface this by saying that support is excellent, but this app is downright frustrating for audio video content. First of all it is very slow to load, so much so that I’d rather listen to Jordan Peterson from iTunes and miss part of the episode. If I hit the back/forward 15 seconds button it takes MINUTES to load. If it’s video just forget it. Additionally, there are series that have episodes hours long (eg Exodus) hey the app keeps not record of played episodes, or where you left off. So make sure you remember where you pause episodes, and what episode it was because the app will suggest it what you listened to 2 episodes back if at all. Overall, how slow the app is makes it very disappointing to be a premium paid app. It would be better to have a premium RSS feed from iTunes or some other platform that can sufficiently play content.

Love the content, please fix app UX!. There are quite a few things that need improved in the app for user experience to simply be better, right now it is mediocre, I hate to say. Biggest issues for me come with loading and listening to shows. No matter how good my connection is, it always takes 20 seconds - 1 minute to load. I don’t think this is user error because this type of thing only happens to me in the DW app. The second and biggest annoyance for me has to do with the ability to “Continue Listening” to a show that I did not get to finish all the way upon initial click. My “Continue Listening” section is full of episodes that I have already completed to their entirety (although it would be nice if they are also removed from that list if there are less than 30 seconds left, e.g. credits). When it comes to recent episodes with which I am actually still in progress, those don’t show up in “Continue Listening.” And if I go to the main list of episodes of a show to proceed with an episode that I had to pause earlier in the day, all progress is lost, and it resets the episode to the beginning, leaving me to volley back and forth among various minutes of the show to find my previous stopping point. Again, love the content, but these daily issues. Please fix them!

App Needs Some Work. If I’m on the app reading an article and the article takes me to another website, say Twitter, then when I try to return to the article I was reading the app has restarted and I start back at the beginning of articles I’ve already scrolled through. Happens about 50% of the time. When listening to podcasts and using Bluetooth headphone, if you pause the podcast and then take out your headphones and put them away, the app automatically starts playing the podcast again even with your phone locked. I’ve paused podcasts for 10+ minutes, just to have them randomly start playing again without hitting anything. I’ve also experienced the podcasts playing during phone calls despite pausing. If I’m reading an article, complete it, then hit the back arrow about 50% of the time I’m taken back to the top of the list of articles, rather than where I just was so I have to scroll again and again to find where I had gotten to. Usually don’t leave reviews but the past couple of app updates have yet to have fixed issues that I see everyday, it makes using the app frustrating a lot of the time

Great content- terrible app!. Daily Wire…I love you. Truly. But this app is quite possibly the worst I have ever encountered. 1. How is it sensical for me to go to Jordan Peterson’s content, see the icon for the Exodus series but it doesn’t link to anything. It’s just there for show? Instead you have to go to the first series of Exodus, scroll all the way to the end, click on the last icon to be taken to a list of 1 through 11 or whatever it is now. 2. NEVER bookmarks or saves where you last left off. What app nowadays doesn’t do this??? 3. Always buffering on the main screen of a video. Have to use the lower right hand pause to get it to pause. 4. And lastly- but not least…perhaps the worst…oh the anguish when you pause and get out of your car…the moment you unplug…starts playing again. Press pause and make a phone call…starts playing in the background of the call. My clients get to hear Jordan Peterson discussing Moses and the Israelites all the time…hahaha! In all seriousness, I can’t explain how awful an app it really is. You can’t beat big tech if you can’t even fix the dang app. Please do better. I’m rooting for you and this sounds like I’m not…i know. But I’m only typing this to hopefully get SOMEONE’S attention to do something about it. I’m so sick of big tech and their insanity…I want companies like Daily Wire to take the CNN’s of the media world behind the woodshed…but again. Gotta beat ‘em at their game and this app ain’t gonna cut it.

Great content, mediocre app. The five stars are for content. I listen to multiple shows on this network. There are a few easy fixes for the app I hope someone will get to soon. 1. If you pause a show and leave, it should resume where you left off. It’s silly that half time I exit I lose my place. 2. If you want people engaging in the comments (ie coming back to the app over and over) you need to be able to see your comments or responses quickly. To have to scroll through every comment if you want to reply to someone who tagged you is ridiculous. 3. GET A PROOFREADER. You could find someone recent graduate who majored in writing and wants a job. The fact every article has readers commenting with corrections makes the site seem unreliable. Hope they make some changes because the content is excellent.

Love this App! Definitely Worth Subscribing!. This app is such a great resource, from the shows to current events to the collections. I would really like to see a way to bookmark or save things to lists to read later, and some more features on playback-but even those things considered-it’s still a 5 Star for me! Even my 12-year-old daughter enjoys the app and actually surprised me when she started sending me screenshots and links when she’s at her dads. Plus she uses it for her weekly current event assignments in school, so that’s a bonus. Anyway-I highly recommend this app/site, it’s a source I can trust and enjoy. Oh, and as you listen to shows, sometimes they will throw in coupon codes for a discount to upgrade. (Just a quick tip if your on the line!)

Excellent content with some annoying interface issues. First off I want to make it clear that the content is outstanding, and the fact that if you have a subscription they edit out all of the advertisements is an appreciated touch. I’ve had multiple issues with the app remembering which episodes I’ve listened to, specifically the Michael Knowles show; it remembers all of my progress through any morning wire episode I listen to but it makes me start any Michael Knowles episode from the beginning which is a real pain. It would be nice as well if you had the option of creating a “watch later” playlist or something of that sort, it’s annoying to have to manually go through each episode of the fauci exposed series to find the episode you’re on, as it doesn’t pull that info to the main page. Again, the only complaint is the user interface of the app, the content is superb

Very exciting start but needs improvements. So excited to have an app for this, it looks really great so far and I love it's ease of use. A few things I think are essential that prevent a five start review (which I really hope to change!): 1. Ability to play video/audio while using other apps or with the phone screen locked. Super frustrating that you can only enjoy the content if your screen is open on the app. 2. Ability to watch/listen at faster speeds. I love the shows but three hours is a long time, and that's just Bens show, so it would make a huge difference if we could speed up the playback to our desired level. 3. Ability to download so videos can be played on the subway and other places that streaming or wifi is not accessible. 4. Ability to more easily manipulate playback, like 15 secs forward or back, and a more accurate scrubber (the one on the app is pretty bad so far). 5. Ability for show to remember where you left off for some time (like within a few hours or a day) so that if something comes up you can get back to your place easily. Besides these few fixes I think you guys have done a great job and can't wait to keep listening, thanks for all you do!!

Why is there now a fee to view?. I can’t find a way to “message” Daily wire. I have been missing seeing Ben and Candace on Facebook. I keep getting messages about videos in my notifications. I don’t understand why we have to pay now where we didn’t have to before. How is the truth and intelligence in understanding what is really going on in our nation going to get to those who are blinded by all the other news/talk agencies? I am not meaning to complain. I love what you all say and stand for. I just really want others to freely be able to hear what you all see and realize the truth. I am hoping to get a reply to understand this change. I know Facebook is Censoring conservative views/truth but can’t your app be available to everyone. I would like to pay but I am wanting everyone to benefit.

A few suggestions. **Please add the ability to create playlists of episodes or of articles, on that note it would be cool if we could favorite or save articles for later reading. Sometimes I fall behind watching/listening to episodes and a playlist would be very helpful which is what I used to do on YT **Stop the app from refreshing whenever we leave it for even a few minutes. It happens all the time where I’m reading an article or listening/watching an episode and I have to leave the app and when I come back it has refreshed and now I have to dig for the content all over again. **In the section where we can see our past comments, you do show what article we commented on but we cannot tap on it to go to said article. Please change that. **Add the ability to upload our own profile picture **Add a notification button that we tap to see for example people who have replied/liked our comments instead of having to check our emails to see replies/likes **it would be cool if you allowed cuss (or racy) words in comments. Sometimes they’re necessary to convey how one truly feels. **Landscape orientation **Ability to change font size **Currently you have a 30 sec skip ahead/rewind but 5 or 15 sec intervals are helpful as well. Those could be an option. **night mode

Love the DW and their app but just two minor complaint.... 1. When using the app on any iPhone without the home button (I’m on a new iPhone 12 Pro Max which is why I noticed this for the first time) the white bar/home indicator at the bottom of the screen doesn’t disappear when entering a full screen video. On other video apps it disappears after a few seconds once watching a video in full screen but with this app it distractingly stays put. I prefer watching on my phone but because of this the experience is hampered. 2. When reading articles in the app, the comments section is never below the articles like it is on the site. I like seeing the thoughts of my fellow Daily Wire members and it is annoying having to switch back to my computer to see the comments section. Fix these things and my review will be 5 stars!

Ben and co are great, the app however seems a bit out of date.. This may seem like small potatoes but I have tiny gripe with the Ipad app, technical in nature, that has actually prevented me from subscribing in the past. A UX thing is my issue - the Daily Wire app seems to only work in Portrait mode. Generally 100% of My IPad use is in Landscape, attached to an apple keyboard. I think this is fairly common. I actually didn’t want to sign up because I didn’t want to deal with that one thing, taking my IPad off the keyboard and propping up some how or whatever to view the DW content. Consuming the content should be a pleasure for the end user, this isn’t something we should need to think about. I’ve gone ahead and finally subscribed. I actually just hope I use the app since it always has this annoying caveat. I only ask that you consider making a landscape layout capable app in a near future release of the app. I would think Apple’s app framework did that kind of thin automatically, but maybe not. If I am mistaken and the app does in fact support landscape, or you have some alternative way to get the content in landscape, please let me know and I’ll update my comments. Like I say sort small issue in grand scheme of things, but may help get more subscribers… Thank you! (:<)

I need better playback!. I Love the app and love listening to the daily podcasts from Michael Knowles while I work but I have a couple of little issues with the app, 1st - the playback is useless, if I stop watching the video form of a podcast and try to come back to it later on after I’ve closed out the app I have to start it over and try to find where I was at manually!? (Can be quite annoying) 2nd - if I pause a video I am watching, why does it have to play every single time I lock my screen, unlock my screen, during a phone call I pick up or absolutely anytime I unplug it from an aux! Can we please make it only play when I press play!? Again I reiterate I love the daily wire and all the shows provided but I just think a few minor changes would exponentially improve the app experience. Thanks.

Hopeful for the future of the app. I have dutifully paid my several hundred dollars to continue my membership because I appreciate their content and fresh approach to news. The Daily Wire's personalities are uniquely insightful, well-thought-out, and I believe truly impactful in positive ways. The opportunities lie in execution. The app has long been a source of frustration. For example, the "continue listening“ offering is typically several podcasts behind what I actually listened to most recently. Sometimes the app starts to play on its own, after I have paused. The reason I write this review is the glaring paucity of content currently executed: There are apparently no shows being produced the week between Christmas and New Year? I understand and respect they value time off for the holidays. We all do. And yet, we all don't get to take simultaneous weeks off. Think they'd give me 1/52 of a refund for my membership?? 😜😜😜

It would be nice.... Love the podcast. Decided to support the show. Leftest tears tumbler. Check! Emails. Check! Click in article and it brings you to a website asking you to subscribe. Um, ok I did that. Short version I needed to get the app. Check! Go to watch a video and it wants me to login. Whisky Tango Foxtrot Batman! App starts bouncing around between email programs back to the app maybe something else, not sure was too fast for me to follow. So till this gets resolved this app is a brick on my phone. Good job every, seriously, good job. One star. Update: saw that there was an update and bug fix. Ok let’s try again. I try to authenticate and wow it asks me for my info. (Gave another star for the fix) Next problem. The subscription was a gift. I got no password. So let’s try the password reset option...... still waiting for the email. (Yes I looked in the junk/spam folder) Either something is broke on the back end or the app still has a bug to be worked out. Well done everyone, seriously, well done. Up to two stars.

Persistent Playback Issue Ruins Daily Wire App Experience. I have been a subscriber to Daily Wire for a while now, and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the app's performance. The app has a recurring issue that is affecting my ability to enjoy the content. Every time I pause a podcast or video, it resumes playback without my input, and this is happening way too often. I have tried everything to resolve this issue, from reinstalling and updating the app to even trying it on another phone, but nothing seems to work. I even tried reaching out to technical support for assistance, but all I got was a generic "thank you for the feedback" message, which did not help at all. As a result, I am seriously considering canceling my subscription to Daily Wire. It's frustrating to see an app that has so much potential be plagued with such a persistent issue. I hope the Daily Wire team will take this problem seriously and work on a solution. Until then, I cannot recommend this app to anyone who wants to enjoy Daily Wire's content without constant interruptions. In summary, the Daily Wire app's performance is unacceptable, and the recurring issue with playback is a major hindrance to the user experience. I hope the team will take immediate steps to fix this problem, as I would love to continue enjoying the app's content without any issues.

Whoever is in charge of your app creation needs to be fired!. While I love the content of The Daily Wire, the app just can’t get it right. It’s recently gotten better, but there’s still so many problems, whoever is in charge of creating and maintaining it needs to be fired. Seriously. The latest awfulness of the app is that it will suddenly start to play even after a podcast has been paused. So for example, if you’re listening to it through Bluetooth in your car and you turn the car off and press pause in the app, once you remove your phone from the USB cable, it will just start playing again. It continues to play if you get a phone call. If you have the small window open within another app, it will randomly play even after you hit pause. I had it start playing out of the blue at work once! It’s so irritating and annoying. I’m an all access member and expect better quality for my dollar. If the content were so good and important, I would have deleted the app long ago. Please Daily Wire, fix this!

All Access is worth it for Klavan. If you have not scaled up to All Access yet, you owe it to yourself, if for no other reason than to listen to Andrew Klavan's Q&As, available only to All Access Members. He is one of those rare people who is naturally articulate, but who also brings to the table a writer's honed voice, deep and piercing insights into the nature of things (seemingly almost all things) borne of a long life of ups and downs while listening and thinking, and the clincher: a fearless sense of humor. I suspect he'll hate me for this, but Trigger Warning: If you are offended at first, give it a minute. His genuine love for the very best in each of us will eventually seep through, and you'll likely discover the truth in what he is saying, even if you have a valid counterpoint. I don't know what deal he made with God, but this man is pure wisdom. To top it all off, it's weird (I think it's because he so clearly appreciates his listeners and shares so honestly), but you feel like he is that favorite uncle you hardly ever get to see, and it's Christmas Eve so he's had an eggnog, has loosening up, and is at his best. Anyway, enough gushing. Fork over the extra few bucks and enjoy.

Love the Content App Needs a Few Basic things to be Great. The app is easy to use and informative. The Daily Wire does a great job at being conservative without you feeling like you’re reading conservative propaganda. I’m happy with my subscription and the content I get for it with even more to come as they start releasing movies and documentaries. My suggestions which I think are just basic things: add a favorites option. I’d love to add the Ben Shapiro podcast to my favorites and I’m interested in watching the new China enemy working docu. Would be cool if everything I want to listen to/watch/ even maybe read later were all in one place. Also, if you are watching/listening to something and go to pick it up even a few hours later. Your progress gets lost. The app could use whatever feature needed to save your progress of what you’re listening to/watching.

Great content. Horrible app.. DW is the best place to get the news and access to your favorite creators. They have a right-wing lean, but compared to the likes of Fox and CNN they really do present just the honest flat-out facts and top stories. Would love to give more stars, however.. This app is downright awful. There are so many complaints about it on the app store. So much time and money going into every facet of this organization EXCEPT the method by which they deliver the content!! So disappointing. Long load times on flawless connection, not super easy to navigate, the app never remembers where I left off of videos or podcasts - now it has gotten to the point where I can’t view content at all. I tap on shows and nothing happens. I reinstall the app, but now I can’t sign back in. DW staff: PLEASE read these complaints and do some massive overhauling of your app. I have never had so much trouble with any other app I have ever used, yet this one is by far my favorite. Get it together!!

App bugs are an issue, but content is always A+. While I love the Daily Wire and all that it’s doing to create a brand that conservatives can trust, the app is beyond frustrating at times!! The videos take awhile to load, then will pause and play at their own will. Most frustrating is when you pause the podcast for a phone call, then it starts playing into your call!! When you search, it will load the same 5-10 results over and over again but seem as if your still scrolling. It makes no sense! I love all that the Daily Wire is doing, but for the sake of your members who are paying monthly PLEASE INVEST MORE IN YOUR APP!! It feels as if you all are trying to be mainstream with your razors, sports show, movies & book deals. Just take a budget cut on a few things and get the app right so your content can actually be enjoyed!! -A truly concerned member of DW

Great hosts awful app. I have been a subscriber for a couple of years now. I enjoy the hosts shows (minus one of them). The content of the shows is great but I’m entirely frustrated by three things. The first issue is that the app is garbage, I should not have to click on a play button ten times before the program begins. It is extremely irritating to pay for a service that is garbage at best. Second after watching an episode or podcast it does not show in the app (nor does it allow you to come back if you’re partially through a show). I believe that the daily wire is focused on doing too much to fast and that is causing them to take short cuts along the way. The final issue I have is with Morning Wire. This program is supposed to be every day. I have noted many times that no show has been posted. Change what the hosts say if they aren’t going to be consistent.

Awesome Content, room for growth in the app. I am enjoying the content and signed up for daily wire+ to enjoy Dr. Peterson‘s lectures on Exodus and Genesis. The app needs some work in the way of providing a way to download when service is bad (I am mostly buffering if I leave my WI-FI) and the app needs a way to find where you left off on these lectures. Every time I leave the lecture, (which is every time because they’re over two hours each) I have to search for the lecture which is not the easiest to find. And then I have to know where I left off and fast forward to it. This app provides a massive amount of awesome content and I’m hoping that as they grow they provide ways to better navigate it. When I first got the app, I wanted to watch What is a Woman and I actually had a really hard time finding it using the search function. There were so many results with those key words, the movie wasn’t coming up for me.

Bug infested. Since this review is in the App Store, my feedback is for the app specifically and not the Daily Wire as a media outlet. The app itself is bug infested. The player will rarely, if ever, save your progress in the video when you pause or close the app. Because many videos are long form this is really problematic. So, in order to not lose my place in a 2-3 hr long video, I have to keep the app open for days on end, but it will inevitably close the player window on its own and I lose my spot anyway. While the app is running in the background, it will begin playing for some odd reason, and it’s usually when you least want it to. Dare to unlock your phone in a meeting at work, and Ben Shapiro’s voice starts talking at whatever volume you set your phone to. People eye you as you try to lower the volume as quickly as you can. Most embarrassingly, I’ve had this happen several times when answering a phone call. The app is paused and running in the background while the phone is on standby, waiting to ambush you. I get a phone call and when I answer, suddenly Jordan Peterson starts speaking. The person on the other end is now despises me. Frantically, I begin closing all the apps running on my phone in a desperate attempt to get it to stop. It’s too late for my reputation. Why, oh, why have they not fixed this yet? If the content wasn’t so good, I would have ditched the app long ago.

Video functions need work. I love the DW crew and love supporting them but the app needs work (specifically Video and live streams). Video: - Videos don’t automatically play when you click on them. It appears that they’re going to play because you see the first frame of the video and a spinning loading wheel where the play button is. If you want to play the video you have to press the rewind 30 seconds button. - The play pause button on the video player always seems to be a spinning loading wheel when playing video - adding other increments of time to rewind and fast forward like 5, 10, 15 seconds would be great. i’m sure I’m not the only one that doesn’t want to rewind 30 seconds in a podcast. - The continue watching/listening feature never works for me. I always have to remember my spot in Ben’s show because the app always starts my Podcasts from zero. Livestream: -same issues with the video player during live streams -Almost everything about the live stream chat is bad. Because of the block style of the comments 3 to 4 comments can take half of your screen. It is also very unclear if you are replying to a comment. It looks like you are making an entirely new comment. - The chat is always behind on the hosts end. Michael Knowles has had many member segments where he complains that the chat either doesn’t work entirely or is very far behind and can’t see up-to-date comments. Again, I love the DW crew but I’d give the app a D+

Great content, frustrating app. I love the content of Daily Wire, however I have been frustrated with the app of late. Oftentimes it will just crash in the middle of listening. In the last couple of months it has stopped keeping your place. For instance, if I receive a phone call or stop playing an episode for any reason, when I return, the app has left the episode and is back at the home page. When I return to the episode, it has not held my place. The episode will start from the beginning. This is very frustrating as I pretty much only listen to DW content through the app, because I spend a lot of time driving. Also, the app will ask me to login 1-2 times per week. I’m not sure why that happens. As stated before, I use the app daily. These issues have only cropped up within the last couple of months. Hoping they will be resolved soon.

Tired of Only Hearing One Side?. I downloaded this app after listening to a few of Ben Shapiro’s podcasts. For a long time, I tried to stay out of politics because of the nonsensical ideas and policies being promoted by the left. I thought as a Christian, I could stick my head in the sand and somehow ignore it. 2020 changed that! After the attempts to vilify and defund the police, the 24/7 attacks on Trump through biased media, the refusal of the left to listen to science in regard to Covid, and the way the Democrats are attempting to silence anyone who has conservative beliefs, I decided to get involved by downloading this app and became a subscriber of The Daily Wire. I ♥️listening to the podcasts when I’m walking my dogs and now feel more socially and politically aware enough to hold conversations with my friends, family, and colleagues. Thank you to The Daily Wire staff! Keep up the good work!!

Great content but bad app!. I love all the content and I listen to most all of it, however the app needs a lot of work. The UI is fine but for some reason this is the only app that I can’t listen to a pod cast and drive around town without buffering, very annoying driving for 4-5 min listening to nothing 2 or 3 times in a drive, I will probably be listening to much less once I start driving to work again. Also when you are listening to a show on a device like ear buds or car and you pause it because you have to talk to someone or go into a store the app starts playing automatically. It continues to play even when I hit pause again making me shut down the app and losing my spot on the show. Because of this when I want to listen to the show where I left off I have to find the spot. Lastly and probably the most annoying, when getting a call when I am listening to the app I hit pause or the call pauses it automatically the show starts up again so I now am talking to the person on the phone while Ben is also coming though, forcing me to close the phone app and find the show to close the app because pausing it only prolongs the show turning on again during my call. PLEASE FIX, JUST BECAUE I OPEN MY PHONE TO ACCEPT A CALL OR TEXT DOES NOT MEAN I WANT THE PODCAST TO START WHERE I LEFT OFF!!!!!

Great app with one improvement needed. So much great content from the daily wire. Im a member and daily listener or watcher. Love the app except one very frustrating problem. I use the iPad Pro with the Apple Magic Keyboard which means the screen is horizontal and not vertical on my desk. The iPad does not rotate. The dw app does not rotate to display on the horizontal screen. It’s super annoying to select things sideways to get to the videos which then will rotate once you maximize them. This problem also bars me from reading the content on my iPad, which is where I’d prefer to read it. Of course I can take my iPad out of the case and hold it vertically while reading without the case, but I shouldn’t have to keep detaching it to select my videos and reattaching to watch them or only be able to read in portrait with it detached from the case instead of sitting up nicely for me in the case. Could you make the app able to rotate and display in landscape? Seems like a simple problem to fix. This is the only app I use that doesn’t rotate. This would smooth out/eliminate the issue and make me read and watch more content. Honestly some times I choose other options which I prefer less just because I don’t have the free hands to hassle with the setup. Or more likely I listen on apple podcast rather than watching on the app because I don’t want to miss the good content but don’t want the app hassle. I really hope this can be fixed.

Only on app version. I am a huge user of the daily wire, I watch a lot of Jordan Petersons work, and many others as well. A lot of the time these videos are quite long so I never really finish them in their entirety. So My only issue with this app is that whenever I pause a video and then close the app. I find it a little annoying that whenever I open the app back up again and go to the video, it never picks back up where it left off. It always restarts back to the beginning and then I have to scroll through the videos to remember where I left off. I’ve found that this only seems to be an issue on the app version of the daily wire, on my laptop, it’s not a thing. Thanks

Best conservative news outlet and podcasts in the U.S.. I only discovered Daily Wire last year when I got bored during quarantine and needed something to watch. However, I was instantly hooked. In fact, I even became a member to unlock the extra content. If you’re a conservative, this is the news for you. They’re open about their bias unlike most of the mainstream media. They cover and analyze topics honestly and critically. Although they’re conservative, they’re not afraid to call out Republicans when they need to. The articles are well written and they are usually factually accurate. However, I will admit sometimes make factual errors, but their accuracy has improved since the platform launched in 2015. My favorite aspect of the Daily Wire is by far the podcasts. Of all the commentators, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, and Andrew Klavan are my favorites. Every show is a great mix of news and humor. If you enjoy the Daily Wire but aren’t convinced to buy a membership, one thing should change your mind: the brand new Debunked series. Ben does an awesome job debunking common leftist myths, and there is a new episode every week. The Daily Wire is everything a conservative would want. The only thing I would recommend is polishing up on accuracy in reporting and it’ll be perfect!

Great! Just needs a little more work.. I absolutely love The Daily Wire and the conservative insight they provide from so many different angles and the fact that they have made all of this into one convenient app. I have been an all access member for quite sometime now. However, the only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is the functionality of the app. I’ve noted frequent crashes when the app is running in the back ground. The “continue watching” section doesn’t show your last watched video, nor do any of them keep placement history if you have to log out and pick up where you left off later. I also have issues with the video automatically starting to play when the app is running in the background, paused, and I start videoing something with my camera or start a phone call. These are simple programming issues that I sincerely feel would make the use of the app easier and much more seamless. Keep up the great work!

Great content, app is useless. This is a review of the app itself, not the Daily Wire as a whole. DW puts out fantastic content, definitely worth the money as an investment in the future of conservative entertainment. That being said, this app is egregious. It’s basically just a low-functioning self contained web browser. There is no way to build a queue, see which episodes you were on, pause an episode and come back later, etc. I have a DW+ subscription and I’m honestly about to cancel it as I just stream the podcasts I listen to through Apple Podcasts. The member blocks are fine, but given the choice between the ease of use and accessibility of the Apple Podcasts app over having to maneuver my way through this one just to find each episode, never mind if I accidentally force quit the app or have to restart my phone for any reason, and then have to restart the app. The frustration just isn’t worth the extra 10-20 minutes of content. I wish there was a way to get private RSS feed so I could just listen to the premium content on Apple Podcasts.

Recent Survey. My name is Rosario O’Neil and I am a member of the DW. I love what you are doing with the conservative media (It was about time!) and watching different shows on the DW everyday has become sort of a family tradition. My absolute favorite is Ben Shapiro. Recently, I completed a survey that you sent about entertainment. I did not see my kind of entertainment which, I must say, is becoming very well known all over the world and it is very appropriate for families, in most cases: Korean drama. Despite language barriers, it is becoming a favorite in Europe and Latino America. The secret? Variety of plots (historical , ghosts, romance, office daily life, mafia…), family friendly (no nudity, no sex talk, limited awful language, limited violence ), moral values are promoted ( friendship, marriage, clean romantic love, hard work, love for country…), great actors an fabulous writing. Also, the number of episodes is limited, usually around 16. I believe that it is an option worth to take into consideration. I hope this idea can help you make a better DW and make some money in the process too! Thank you for everything you do!

Love DW+ but the app needs work.. Love the content and the movement, but there are some bugs for sure. I drive a lot, almost exclusively when listening to the podcasts. If I go down a bar or two, or switch from 5G to LTE, even for just a moment, it is a fight to get it working again. I mean restarting completely sometimes won’t even load the shows page. Basically, buffering is terrible. If I start watching a show that’s already live, but I’m just a little late, once the show ends it’ll just stop the stream completely. When I go back to the show page to begin the tedious process of restarting the show, that episode isn’t available. It doesn’t become available for a while after the live stream stops. If I have to pause a show and go to another app, or just lock my phone for too long it just takes me back for the home page when I get back on. Worst part is the app doesn’t remember where I left off. I have learned to remember what time I leave off if I have to pause. Also, the app will randomly pause despite service. The app is frustrating and not worth it. Absolutely terrible app, great service. Anyways, just a few off the top of my head. Love the work you all do.

Fix the playback issue. I love this app and I love being able to listen to Jordan Peterson’s wisdom wherever I go and I’ve yet to even tap into all the other knowledge there is to gain from everything in this platform. The only thing keeping this review from a perfect rating however is the playback whenever I stop watching an episode or the I close the app. I could be 50 mins into a 2 hour video and then close the app and open it to resume but it’s not in my history so now I have to find it and then I can’t remember where I was at so I have to make a rough estimate most of the time. Certainly not ideal and very bothersome because as much as I love listening to the man talk I’d rather continue listening to where I left off so I could then listen to more and catch up to all his content. Please fix this problem as it’s very frustrating.

Great content! The app however not so much.. I absolutely love so many of your guys shows and movies and documentaries so I’ll always subscribe. However, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update your app! It sometimes has this issue on my phone, but on the TV it is so hard to use. If I pause the show It takes me back to the beginning when I try and play it again. Also if I try to fast forward, even on the not live version of the episodes, it will either completely not let me fast forward or it will move the icon to look like it’s fast forwarding but then it starts me back at the beginning still. Not sure if it’s my TV, I have a Roku, but I have no issue with other apps so I think it’s just your app. However I love the content I usually just try not to need the fast forwarding or pausing feature cause it still is the best place to get conservative content.

Great source of information. I’ll just say I’m am right leaning. I don’t agree with all viewpoints but I do appreciate the core truths in the actual happenings vs fake news. After my 26 years on this earth and the past ten that I’ve been awakened to the shadows the medias cast, I wanted to see what really goes on. As far as content I’ve viewed thus far, it’s 5 stars. I took off a star because I’m hearing impaired and captions are not provided, automated or otherwise. In watching the new “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold” the background music was overpowering at times over dialogue, even when I switched from the tv to my phone to listen through my Bluetooth hearing aids. It’s a relatively new streaming service, so I can forgive it, but I do hope the captions are available soon so I can consume more content without straining!

Great content but…. Visual design looks great. I love having the content - all my favorites- available easily on the app and I hate to complain but there are a couple issues. It is difficult when my phone rings and the show I am listening to keeps playing over my conversation. My fix is that I have to close the app completely before I answer the phone but then I loose my spot listening to shows. Also, I don’t see the morning wire option anymore which I count on every morning. Bring it back please or maybe put in a more obvious spot and keep it there for those of us who crave routine and need everything in its place. I like to glance and quickly find it and listen in the car and can’t go searching for it while driving. Otherwise, I enjoy everything about that.

love! would be 5 stars but i have suggestions/requests.. i love the content on the app *chef’s kiss* i do however have a super important request, which is that users be able to autoplay episodes and/or set up a watch queue. there are nights where all i want to do after a long day is sit down and binge some candace. but shamefully i admit that sometimes even going to a new episode manually after finishing one just requires too much effort out of me. im joking mostly, but still it would be super convenient if that feature was added. also this is kind of a long shot but i think the hodgetwins (keith and kevin hodge, aka the conservative twins) would make a GREAT addition to the daily wire team. just a thought! but seriously. other than that just thank u for bringing this amazing content to the public. i love the way it’s all organized. just got a subscription i love it so much!

Honest Critical Analysis. This is a conservative news source, so obviously they will have conservative stances on most issues. However, the difference between Daily Wire and the mainstream media is that they are 100% honest and open about their biases. Additionally, they will spend time actually addressing opposing arguments before explaining why they think they are wrong. Furthermore, they are not afraid to call out their “own side” when they think they have made a mistake or have done something wrong. I can safely say that because of the Daily Wire that I am more informed on current political and cultural issues than 99% of my classmates in college. I cannot speak highly enough of the coverage all of the hosts provide. Each one offers something a little bit different, both on an entertainment and informational level. If you’re looking for honest, critical analysis of news with humor built in, then look no further than the Daily Wire.

Annoying on iPad. Still. I can’t believe, after all this time, the daily wire app still forces itself into portrait mode on an iPad. News flash: most people who use iPads are using it in landscape mode. Please find a way to make this work so we don’t have to keep flipping back-and-forth. Love, an insider plus subscriber. Original review: Why does this app still try to force itself into portrait mode while on an iPad? I must tip my iPad constantly while browsing through articles and videos, as if it is a stein of beer. It’s one of the few problems I have with this app. Unfortunately it is a really annoying problem. First world problem, I admit, but annoying nevertheless, and detracting from an otherwise perfect app. Please modernize your app so it respects the landscape mode in which most people use their iPads. Thank you.

Content Great - App Growing. The technical glitches are frustrating. They have improved, but they are still happening. It does not mark your played content, so you either have to be conscious of where you are in the podcast/video or listen/watch all the way through. Not sure if this is across all content, but when you click the Exodus, it does not show anything besides a title page. No episodes are beneath that title even though there is a marker where it says "All episdoes". Again, not a huge deal because they are in the main page area. All these issues probably due to Dailywire not being a tech company! I would rather them focus on the content! But I would not hate improvements :). I am sure they are hiring devs like crazy.

Love the content! However, the iPad app is unusable!. How has the iPad app not been updated to support landscape mode yet? The content is great, but the iPad app is unusable. I use the magic keyboard with my iPad so I consume everything in landscape mode, but for whatever reason this app doesn’t support it. Also, like many others have stated...you can’t lock your device without it stopping the content, and it doesn’t start back up where you previously left off. If these three issues were fixed then it would without a doubt deserve a 5 star rating, but without them it severely hampers your experience and due to that I’ve found myself coming here less and less. I would be much more likely to renew my subscription when it ends if these issues were fixed. BTW...this is the first review I’ve ever written on any app or product. I just felt compelled to leave one because this would be the best app in the AppStore if these issues were fixed.

Apple TV app needs attention. I almost exclusively use the Apple TV app to watch Daily Wire content. The app is very frustrating. Example, I am currently going through Jordan Peterson's Exodus series. It is impossible to know where you left off. The app does not show you which episodes have been completed or which one is paused somewhere in the middle. I have to remember or write it down. This basic function of an On Demand viewing app is completely missing. Also, when navigating back to the app's Home Screen, it always has to refresh and take you to the top. This makes app navigation painfully and unnecessarily slow. There are times when I am choosing what to watch on TV and I will consciously not go to the Daily Wire app because I just don't have the energy to deal with the quirks. This is a sad thing, considering the subscription cost is the highest I pay of any of my other subscriptions.

Daily wire is great but the app needs work. Let’s skip the part talking about DW content. Their stuff is good, which is why you are looking to download the app. That’s where the problems begin. There are 3 main issues. Let’s list them out and start getting them addressed: 1) Whether you are watching a video or listening to a podcast, none of these various players will remember where you stop if you pause in the middle of the show and close the app or you need to restart your phone or whatever. Single biggest issue and gripe in my opinion that needs addressing. 2) If you hit the pause button on the screen over a video, it will start circling like it’s thinking about something and the play button is not available. You have to turn the phone vertically and hit the separate play/pause button below the video. Sometimes the circling thing never goes away even after the video is playing again. 3) No playback speed control. Sometimes folks just talk slow and you want to move things along. Neither the podcast nor video players have playback speed control. This is a minor annoyances but when many other players offer this basic feature it’s something you realize is missing when it’s not there. Let’s get these issues addressed and get this to being the 5 star app it should be.

Content👍app👎. Love the Daily Wire. But please fix this: I usually listen on airpods. When I need to pause listening, I pause using either headphone controls or the app to stop the podcast, remove my headphones, and when I place them back in my headphone container, the app starts playing again, loud and clear, full volume for anyone around to hear. Sometimes my spouse is sleeping next to me or listening to their own thing, and it’s truly annoying. It’s especially troublesome when I walk away from my phone and as I walk out of range, all of a sudden it starts blaring from my phone two rooms away. None of my other podcast apps do this, so I really wish you would finally fix it. Please. I’ve written to you multiple times via email and your minions have always said they would pass the information along. Nothing ever got done. It makes me want to listen to you guys on other apps. I’ve been a paid member since before the LT mug.

DailyWire+ - The Best Unbiased News Source. I’ve been a long time fan of Ben, Jordan B. Peterson, and Candace Owens. So, naturally, when I heard Daily Wire was creating a service that would allow me to seamlessly watch all three of these magnificent speakers, I just had to subscribe. Literally the same day I found out, I had All-Access for the next year. I haven’t regretted it for one second. They’re seemingly the only news source presenting facts without bias, and the political commentary is always stellar. So, why 4 stars, then, you might ask? It’s the app. Specifically one major problem I have with the app is that when I full screen video content, there remains a bar on the bottom of the screen that blocks a portion of the video. More specifically, it blocks the portion of the video in which closed captioning appears. As a hard of hearing person, I rely on closed captioning at all times to get the most out of news and entertainment. If the development team were to fix this, I’d immediately amend my review to be 5 stars. Thank you UPDATE - Developers fixed the black bar bug only hours day after my review! Great receptiveness to feedback from the Daily Wire dev team. Updated my review to be 5 stars

Great content with bugs. Great content, however, it’s not a good app for iPad. You can’t view a lot of the app’s content in landscape mode on iPad (only when watching video in full screen does it go to landscape), this bug needs to be fixed. As it defaults to portrait orientation and is incredibly annoying when trying to use app on iPad.

Riddled with issues. I’m a subscriber (soon to be former subscriber). I cannot comment on site as errors always appear in text box. Cannot like/dislike comments for the same reason DW Support only responds after 2-3 emails. They fix the error and the guess what happens?

My favourite news provider.. The Daily Wire the first place I go for news. I’m an Aussie that’s very interested in the American news landscape. Due to the global reach of policy and culture these days, the issues that drive policy in the US arrive here in quick time so I need to have my finger on the pulse. The Daily Wire provides that in spades. Ben Shapiro is great for dissecting the political wheat from the chaff and Matt Walsh, as it turns out, has a very Australian way of describing the way that the left uses social and cultural drivers to subvert our conservative values. The rest of the team is great too.....even Knowles is ok.🤣 Keep it up DW Team and welcome to the beautiful smart Candace Owens!

A Must Have. The Daily Wire app is incredible and very easy to use. Content is captivating and very high quality. A streaming service everyone needs to watch.

Good content, app is pathetic. Every time I use the app I have multiple buggy issues. Also it’s confusing and frustrating to navigate.

Paywall Fix Required.. Update the app so it acts like Spotify. When I pause a show I want to come back to it after I quit the app. I have to guess where I was up to which is a waste of my time. Currently, it’s easier to listen for free on Spotify and if I really am interested in something then I’ll be bothered to log into the app. You should have fixed this before you created the paywall on the shows. Thanks.

Australian fan of DW. Great content and depth of intellectual unravelling of left’s playbook. This is a fantastic counterbalance to the main stream media narrative. Even though I am Australian, this is very useful because the Australian green socialist left follow the playbook of the left in the US. DW articulates the principles and methods to counter this with great intellectual acumen. The decency, intellect and civility of the shows also make it very difficult for the left to pin its usual slurs onto DW. Hopefully DW will in the future also cover economics, fiscal and monetary policy in more detail as it grows.

I luv Ben Shapiro (I’m male). I love this however I am concerned that Ben Shapiro is “deeply uncomfortable with the male body”

Almost perfect … almost. The app is great, everything is there and it’s quick and easy to find everything. There are a few features that prevent it from being perfect: 1. The podcasts don’t remember where you were up to. That’s a pain trying to find the exact spot you left off from. 2. There is no way to keep track of what you’ve listened to or watched. Even a simple “Watched” or “Played” icon would work 3. You can’t download a show and keep listening or watching when you’re travelling without service. Those features are sorely lacking unfortunately.

Matt Walsh is the Fabio of Mills & Boon!. The stylish dress sense, the manly man-beard & all the Sweet Baby Gang goodness we’re never allowed to speak about through fear of being cancelled….this why we flock to The Daily Wire!!

Love DW but app needs work. I love DW team. However when listening to podcasts which are long and impossible to listen to in one sitting whenever I return to the app it doesn’t remember where I’m up to and I have to spend 5mins scrolling through trying to figure it out. Likewise it doesn’t track what I have watched/listened to and haven’t watched/listened to. It needs this ASAP.

Disenfranchised Australian. Even Sky News here in Australia, is supporting the decision to get rid of Tucker Carlson. Andrew Bolt (who I used to subscribe to) he’s saying that you’re not bigger than the organisation who made you. I’m not the smartest man, but I know that Rupert Murdoch didn’t make Tucker Carlson. That is why they hate him because he’s a man of faith.

Fantastic Site. This is a great app that is continually improving. A feature I would like to see added is a ‘saved’ tab to save articles/episodes.

Decent app. PLEASE ADD ‘Continue Listening or watching,. It’s very annoying not being able to pick up from a podcast where I left off. I have to scroll to roughly where I last was, and it’s super annoying. I’d rather listen to Spotify or something because it goes straight to where I last was in the podcast. Other than that, the app seems pretty good so far

Great content. Thoughtful and entertaining.. Ben, Michael, Andrew umm Klaven? is there an ‘e’? Keep up the great work!

The best and yet clearly content is contrarian. Hello, I am an Aussie conservative and listen to Walsh and Shapiro daily. I agree with the vast majority of their perspectives however their stance on Ukraine irritates me and so, because I have no where else to vent, I’m going to try and take away some of their business. Their stance on Ukraine is entirely political and contrarian, no actual facts involved. They have, since the beginning of the war, highlighted and insisted upon various scenarios which were carbon copies of Russian propaganda using the old leftist tactic of using a hint of truth to make the whole lot of lies true. They don’t seem to even realise that they are propagating Russian propaganda because none of them speak Russian or watch Russian propaganda, I happen to. They are simply, using the blood of Ukrainian people, to propagate their business by doing the exact opposite of what Democrats are doing. In the case of Ukraine, the government isn’t fascist but it probably is corrupt, Ukrainian people DO want this war and they DO want to cut ties with the Russian Federation, Ukraine may have been involved with the destruction of nord pipeline yet you can’t juxtapose that with the destruction of their dam. You are suggesting that they drowned their own people. This is what psses me off, you’re using grains of truth, changing contexts and then using that to create a fake narrative which falls in line with your political views. It is exactly what the left does and look, I get it, but, Ukrainian blood is not for you to use as a political tool and your lies, irrespective of your end goal and context, are unforgivable. Kind regards, long time fan Milan

Great content, app could be better. I’ve loved the Daily Wire for years, especially Klavan. To echo some other reviews, we need watch history so that we can watch videos in multiple sittings. A rating system would also be good, so I can keep track of my favourite videos.

Good app. Love the app but sad and disappointed I can’t watch run hide fight here in Australia yet

Good content, average app. Casting doesn’t work, iPad doesn’t have landscape mode.

A resume feature is absolutely essential. This app desperately needs a resume feature. It should be a “drop everything, this is the top priority before anything else, even bug fixes” kind of feature. I’m currently listening to Jordan Peterson’s Exodus videos and every time I have come back, I have to do the same dance - tap on the videos button, tap on Jordan, tap on Exodus, tap on the episode, then spend a minute scrubbing to figure out where I was up to. And then do it all again an hour later when I have some spare time and want to keep listening.

This app is garbage. The content is brilliant but the app itself is so painful to use. It’s Difficult to navigate, videos do not save their progress so you have to start from the start each time, the buffering is terrible causing videos to stop constantly. It’s just a really tragic app. Not smooth at all. It’s that frustrating that I just give up trying to watch brilliant lectures and go do something else. You’d think with all the money being sunk into this project you would have hired a decent app developer. Tech side letting you down big time. Fix this asap!

Can’t access on LG TV’s. I love the app and use it on my iPhone all the time to watch and read news. However I would like the ability to watch on my LG TV. Currently the only way to do so is either by air playing from iPhone or having an Apple TV plugged in… It would be great if the dailywire+ app was available on the LG App Store so I could download the app directly onto the tv! Alternatively, if dailywire+ could be added as a ‘channel’ in the Apple TV app that would also allow me to watch dailywire directly on the LG tv through the already available Apple TV app. If dailywire+ could either bring the app directly to LG tvs or make the app available as a channel through the Apple TV app it would be another way of competing with the other big streaming platforms and give another platform to reach a bigger audience and myself like many others would appreciate the easier way of watching dailywire+! Would be great to have all content in 4K and would also be great to have subtitles available for all content too as sometimes I prefer to watch content with subtitles. Also, the only way to view the app on iPad is in portrait mode. Please update the app so that I can view it in landscape mode. Thanks

Missing Chromecast support on iOS. 【Okay, this is epic】 However, it lacks the following vital features in iOS: - Chromecast support - Landscape mode

Landscape and Video. Will gladly revise to 5 stars once this app can be used in landscape and the video player mirrors the functionality of the player on the website version, which at the moment is the better experience.

The daily wire review. I love this app, it has so much good content. Love you guys!

Still no dark mode :(. Daily Wire has a black and white theme and yet this app still lacks a dark mode. Every story is black text on a blinding, bright white background - why?! Daily Wire has informative articles/content that are a refreshing balance to the 'mainstream' hysteria, but this 2-star rating is for the app itself. It's burning my eyes out of my skull, yo!

Content is great but the app is missing some standard features. The app really needs at least these 2 features to actually fell good to use. The first, a resume play feature. The app doesn’t remember where I am up to in any of the content I have listened to. When watching a video or listening to a podcast, if for whatever reason I need to stop watching or listening I have to manually find the last place I was at. The second, on the iPad app there is no landscape support. This is a massive oversight for a media app. On top of these 2 there are a few other fixes the app needs. On the Apple TV, every single time you go into a podcast then back to the Home Screen the Home Screen refreshes making the app feel very sluggish. This is further exacerbated by the fact that the podcasts are in a set order and the episodes are tucked away into their authors section. It would be much better to have a section at the top of the app on both tv and mobile devices that has all the daily wire podcast episodes in a list with the latest episode at the start. To make things even better adding shows to favourites so we can have a favourites list with the latest episodes that are most relevant to us would be great.

Content is great, app is terrible. App doesn’t save playback point, when you click continue watching it starts the episode from scratch. Absolutely useless. Expected the basic functionality considering the subscription price you’re demanding.

Need DARK MODE !!!. App is great but I’d love to see a dark reading mode for articles please :)

One tiny complaint. Great app with heaps of great content. My only gripe is that the app doesn’t track my progress through an article or if I have finished a podcast, so if I go out and come back to the app, I can’t pick up where I left off or see which podcasts I have already listened to.

Pay money, get nothing.... I was gifted a Daily Wire account here in Australia. But the content is not even available in this country. Run Hide Right is ‘not available in your area’ as of June 2021. I can’t even watch the Clarence Thomas documentary. Oh, and my Leftist Tears mug still hasn’t arrived despite signing up in February (it’s now June). Thanks for nothing, Daily Wire.

Truly honest media. I’m enjoying every event on this app. DW is a future of honest journalism. That’s how it should be.

No option for landscape view on iPad. The content is great and I have the app on my phone, but I do most of my work on the iPad and would like for there to be an option to read the content in landscape. I never thought I’d actually be interested in reading news articles at 18. I assumed I’d be 40 before showing any interest, but the YT videos reeled me in. Everyone at school talks about how awful Ben and his views are so I looked for content to see what the fuss was about, and now here I am, saving up for a subscription.

Problems with Audio. 5 stars because Daily Wire has my support 1000% and I love the work they’re doing… but am I the only one who can’t get the audio to load on the app? Everything else loads fine. I’d rather listen on the DW app over other podcast sites.

Some Ui improvement suggestions. Content is great. Some User interface suggestions… - allow horizontal navigation / use on iPad - provide playback speed control for videos too, not just audio (I’m using YouTube to watch shows due to this despite annoying YouTube ads) - allow videos to be dragged down as YouTube app does and don’t force me to touch the button on the top to minimize the video - same with tapping on an individual episode, you’re forced to click the left arrow on the bottom left rather than being able to swipe along the entire left side or being able to swipe the page down

Great News App. This is one of the best apps I have used I recommend to everyone who wants the real news.

Love y’all. Love so many of your shows and specials. But you really need to add a comment section! Please for the love of god let me comment my none sense like YouTube and allow for dialogue on important issues

Good. The app is great, but occasionally the video function doesn’t work

Honest News Analysis you can Trust. “That’s yesterday’s news!” Was always something people would say to imply you should get with the times, move on, inform yourself further. But in the Information Age, where are constantly bombarded with information from all our media devices and applications claiming the to be the truth, there is immense value in evaluating yesterday’s news. What was accurate, who was lying, what was being omitted or underplayed? All these things are critical to a healthy democracy in these modern times and to healthy political discourse. I am an all access member and think that it is among my best investments. An investment in the truth will always pay dividends and it has done so immensely with my investment in the Daily Wire, because I’m more prepared than ever to discuss these issues with people.

Great content, but very frustrating experience.. Initially had a difficult and confusing time navigating through the app. The search function is just terrible! Once I finally figured out the audio section, the “continue listening” option just leaves me dumbfounded. Not only can’t the app properly register what I’ve already listened to, but once it’s on my list, it can’t ever be removed. There’s no manual option to mark episodes as “marked played”, and even if I listen to the said episode all the way through, it remains on my “continue listening” list as fully unplayed. As I’ve now reached my seemingly maximum number of 3 episodes on this list and am unable to remove any of them no matter what I do, the app no longer keeps track of what i’ve listened apart from these 3 episodes. If I stop halfway through, the episode will start over again if I continue listening at another time. I’ve had nothing but a frustrating experience using this app, so sadly it’s back to the Apple podcast app for me :(.

The website is better. The back button (“<—“ button) doesn’t work. It just exists redundantly.

Podcasts don’t save progress. I like the content but the podcasts are virtually unusable because they don’t save where you left off. There is also no way to download podcasts for offline listening. I should also be able to save my favourite podcasts for quick access.

Very Pleased. I have been a subscriber for almost 2 years now. I was a bit hesitant when I was first subscribing as it isn’t a small price tag to access accurate news but I later upgraded to All Access and am very pleased. Every outlet will have its lean but one thing I enjoy about the commentators is that they will give credit where credit is due to the opposition which is unseen with Leftists. My only critique is that when you leave an episode, it doesn’t hold it’s place so you have to skim through to find where you left off. That could improve. I recommend joining the movement of sanity, truth, and love for humanity.

Seriously needs a software update to fix bugs. For some reason I cannot log into my DailyWire+ account using the app. It keeps loading but never logs in. I even change my default browser back to Chrome and still to no avail.

Best News content but app needs bugs fixed. On iPhone12pro watching live videos or sometime even with regular videos the video will pause and stop loading. You have to close and reopen the app and find where you left off to keep watching. Happens about ever 5 mins, Very annoying, I hope it is fixed soon.

Sober news coverage. Reasoned and nuanced news coverage. Thanks.

Great Source for News. It’s sure great to have another voice for news to help balance the continual debate. Nice work!!!

Buggy. When watching content on iphone 12 pro full screen, there is a big bar at the bottom taking up a quarter of the screen

Great app! Great content. Great app! Love the content. Can’t login for some reason after the last update… that’s the reason for the four stars instead of five

would give it zero if I could. The content is definitely tantalizing and for good reason. However, the app stinks. I was trying to sign up, ended up quitting because it is NOT easy to use.

Great info, aggressive auto-play. In general, this app is great. However, the auto-play on video is a problem. Videos auto-play when switching from headphones to speaker (when you put your AirPods away), so people hear whatever was playing, sometimes loudly. Given the topics covered, this is sometimes quite embarrassing. Same when you paused the video, then moved into another app, had lunch, looked at yet another app, then opened the DW app: it auto-plays through the phone speaker. Fix this and it’s *****.

Podcast functionality needs to be better….. So i signed up for daily wire because my favourite podcaster moved all his content here. I listen to 4-6 hours of podcasts & books daily while I work. However, this app lacks in functionally in the podcast department. It doesn’t remember what episode you are listening to or were in that podcast you left off. So if you pause, and the app closes or reloads for some reason, you’ll be left trying to manually find the spot where you left off. If you pause and switch from headphones to car play, same problem. The app did however seem to have a continue listening feature on the app that appeared when I first started using it but it was stuck suggesting the same podcast episode and would only start at the beginning of that episode. Then it just stopped remembering and suggesting altogether. So the continue listening now doesn't show up at all. I’m not sure paying to be hassled by poor functionality is worth it for me when i can endure some adds and get the content for free on the apple podcast app thats works flawlessly.

Why did I download an app. If I have to go to a browser to log in, why bother with the app? What’s up with that?

Actual lawful news. I’ve been a fan of Ben Shapiro for a long time. When I first started thinking I was alone and everyone is going crazy to the left I found Ben and his thoughts. I’m extremely grateful his thoughts and that they come in the form that is lawful, backed with evidence. We need to press forward to undo this mess the left has created

Offline shows?. Excellent app in general. The design is clean and easy to navigate. Overall better than the website. I hope you will add the function to download the shows so they can be accessed anywhere.

Great. We still have freedom!

Good contents, Crappy app. The least you can have in an app is to remember your location in videos. Also, please implement landscape view on the iPad. Been trying this app every few months hoping for those shortcomings to be fixed. No luck yet. The website is better. What's the point of having this app if it doesn't even allow video playback speed adjustment?

Doesn’t work on landscape. The app doesn’t work on landscape (horizontal) on the ipad. Only works vertical (portrait), which is super annoying when your ipad is on a stand vertically. Please fix. Content is great.

Disappointed. Love the content but can’t stand that I pay to listen to a ton of advertisements. Also I hate that the app will not keep your spot in a video or podcast. If the app closes for any reason you have lost your spot. This is very annoying.

Great content, mediocre platform. I want to listen to the content I pay for as a subscriber. Every other podcast where there is a subscriber model offers a private link to their ad-free content. With Daily Wire it’s only available on their app, which doesn’t allow me to download content in advance, or save my location if it’s interrupted. Sometimes just getting a phone call means I lose my place.

Excellent content. Horrible interface. I subscribed to the app to listen to Jordan Peterson. He’s excellent at asking tough questions and causing me to think about how and why I think. I know the episodes I want to listen to. But the interface is so awful, it takes me 3-4 minutes to get back to the next episode of the series I want to listen. Otherwise, good content.

Good content, terrible streaming platform. To be clear, my score here is in no way related to the content the Daily Wire provides. I wouldn't be using the app if that was my problem. If you are considering paying for a higher access level in order to listen to podcasts and/or watch streaming content - be aware. The app does NOTHING in terms of remembering history for what you have listened too, what you were listening to last, progress on that stream, or the type of content you prefer. Every time I open the app to watch / listen, I have to find the creator I want again. Then scroll through their posts to find the piece I was watching, then try and remember how far along I was in that piece of content and resume from "roughly" there. These are small little things that add up to a frustrating process that is also very detached from the user. At this point I've gone back to using Spotify for my podcasts needs, it's at least got the sense to remember where I was in a podcast. Please improve this.

Playback feature sucks but content is great. I love that I can find all of daily wire’s stuff all in one place. However, returning to a podcast or show that you’ve started earlier is almost impossible. It doesn’t “remember” where you left off. There are three shows my app “remembers” but they’re all shows I’ve already heard. I’ve resorted to starting the podcast on Apple podcasts, then switching to the app for the member portion. It’s pretty cumbersome to do that. Also, there’s no link to anyone’s mailbag. I’ve been listening to an email to send stuff to and don’t hear the hosts telling the audience where to email their correspondence to. I tried finding it on the app but couldn’t. I wish there was a feed back option on the app.

One of the best, most trustworthy news sources. Download this if you haven’t already!

What happened to “continue listening “?. I’m playing podcasts every day, but can usually only listen to 10-20 minutes at a time each time. Without “continue listening “ the podcast doesn’t remember my place in the episode and starts over from the beginning. Very annoying.

Best news & entertainment. Love Daily Wire, they are accurate, honest, intelligent and entertaining.

Downloading podcasts. I wish that I could be able to download audio podcasts as that means that when I am out I can listen to them on the dailywire app.

No video download. I’m seeing reviews complaining about no video download from years ago very strange this hasn’t been addressed

Buggy app, paid content not clearly marked. I enjoy the content but the app is quite annoying when casting. It sometimes works, sometimes times out. And if I do get it casting, as soon as my phone screen turns off or I go into another app, the audio starts playing on my phone, delayed a few seconds behind the TV audio, as if it forgets that it is casting. I also am confused as to which content is paid and which is free. I purchased the membership so that I could watch "What is a Woman?" and figured I'd have a lot of other great content to watch but it seems like I could access this content on YouTube. I would REALLY like to see a section that is clearly marked *members only* so I know that my membership actually has value. Please update the app so that your great content can shine through!

Excited to hear from like-minded thinkers!. Improvement suggestion: I find that the app doesn’t always remember where I left off in a podcast. Can you fix that?

Unable to see where you stopped listening. Feature that shows you where you stopped listening to podcast is not working

Don’t use this app. This app is controlled and powered by Big Con. Big tech censors freedom of speech using this app don’t trust daily wire

Good content- Not enough to stay. Most is available on YouTube.. Wish there was more movie content. Most of the stuff on here, is accessible on YouTube tho. Not going to continue to pay 14 a month for 20 minute videos I can see on YouTube.

Interesting. Compact and has everything you need Please put the back button on the top of the screen rather on the bottom

Can you please make it so you can view the app Horizontally?. Daily Wire is great for all the news, documentaries and entertainment you want to see, and I can’t recommend the app + subscription enough. Having access to all this is amazing, but as someone who is on DailyWire+ constantly at school on my Ipad (set on a keyboard), it pains me greatly that the app does not flip to a horizontal layout when I turn my Ipad sideways. It would make my experience much greater if this was integrated. Is there any reason why this is not already a thing?

Breath of fresh air. Fact based with unbiased analysis… I have set aside “mainstream media” for this much better option for the news. I trust Daily Wire. Thank you for all your work and God bless!

The Voice Of Reason. I love this app and the smart people behind it. I swallowed the red pill and I will never be going back!

Content is great.. app is trash. The content is amazing but the app is super glitchy. It doesn't save my spot in the video when I close the app. Along with a bunch of other bugs.

Likely good content - bad experience. I believe that there is good intellectual and news content here but the app works poorly. I can’t even give them my money. I’m using and iPhone X with latest software. Perhaps this makes me a dinosaur but my hunch is that DW+ just isn’t there yet.

It’s great, but a little clunky for listening to videos as background. I really enjoy the app and content. My problem with it is that if you are watching/listening to something and get booted out of the app, it doesn’t keep track of your place in the video/podcast. You start at the beginning and have to search for you place. The other issue of that you can only stream the offerings from the site. It would be nice to be able to download the chosen video/podcast so you can listen without wifi or data.

Decent Content, Broke App/Website. Love the DW and what they’re doing in Nashville. My problem is with an ongoing glitch (many weeks now!) that prevents me from making comments on both the app and the website. Either they have a disgruntled techie that sabotaged their site or someone outside really nailed them with some malware. I’ve complained and been given the “we’re working on it” line, but that was a while ago. I can let something like this go if it’s just a few days or so, but like I say this has been going on for a couple or so months. One of the great things about sites like DW are some of the discussions and feedback one gets with fellow readers. This website bug, well, bugs me as a paid subscriber. If it’s something that would bug you I’d hold off on subscribing until they get it worked out.

Worth it. I’m here for the Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens. May not agree with everything they believe but they are at least up front and explain facts. They do still sometimes make wild conjecture or report more on the side of feelings instead of fact (certainly talking about you Matt Walsh and Michael whatever), but this has always been in relation to religion or the (mis-)representation of history. But like I said they are upfront about what they believe and at least don’t try to pass off as unbiased like most main news networks. Ben Shapiro is very very intelligent and you’ll get a good laugh from his shows. Been listening to his podcasts for years.

Great, but we need download options. I love that we finally have a TDW app, but the reason I was so excited was because I wanted to have a download option for additional content. I don’t want to live stream the additional hours I get of The Ben Shapiro show. I can enjoy them on the road. My subscription wasn’t being utilized before the App, because I wouldn’t be able to watch the additional content when convenient. Please give us a download option. And, at least in the beginning stage, maybe open up a TDW app suggestion on the discussion section of the app so there is a convenient way to discuss issues with the app that aren’t iTunes reviews. Will adjust to a 5 star rating and more positive review once TDW app is able to incorporate these features. Great job, guys!

Content is great. App needs work.. Obviously I love the content, and find the plus version worth it with Jordan Peterson’s lectures etc. but the app really needs work. It doesn’t save my spot in an episode, and it doesn’t even tell me what episode I watched last. It’ll say I’m on episode two even tho I watched episodes one, two, three and four. If I pause the episode mid way and close the app it doesn’t save my spot either. In addition to that whenever I make a video full screen in the horizontal view point it cuts off about 1/4 of the bottom half of the screen. Either way, just some really basic things you would expect to work with a streaming service that aren’t quite there yet.

The Daily Wire Has It All. I am a subscriber which is great because I was able to watch the documentary on Clarence Thomas and the Run Fight Hide movie! It was DW reporting that blew the VA CRT and school board issues wide open. Gina Carana will have a movie out next year, hopefully and Adam Carolla is streaming a comedy series on the platform. By supporting the Daily Wire I am also fighting against government overreach through their lawsuit over OSHAs Covid mandate. The DW has also started a publishing arm so books legacy publishers won’t publish can see the light of day. Listening to Ben and Andrew makes me laugh out loud! They give the news then give their perspectives. They also encourage listeners to listen-read other news sites.

Allow Interests. Update: I've found that some audio shows I listen to don't show as played. Yesterday, I listened to a show and this morning it appears as if it's new. The continue listening section should be replaced with a recent list, I don't want to continue a show I started and is irrelevant weeks later. Especially when it's a show I already went through and the app doesn't reflect as such. I've been listening for free on YT for a while and decided I'd rather support DW. I've had a good experience thus far. Please enable limited curation in the way of interests we select. I'm not interested in anything regarding sports, and could do without notifications involving them.

Finally Streaming (road-trip) Strong!!. Being a big fan of DW content I’m so glad to be able to listen to it on the road now as well too. Way to go daily wire team on strengthening streaming coverage. There was nothing more frustrating than having great DW vids I wanted to share with my husband during hours of road tripping and not being able to load it unless I had strong WiFi at home. VICTORY!!! Next level idea: For those of us just listening on road trips, maybe a toggle switch where we can turn video off? Even less data is necessary that way. PS I share your content all the time and 2 friends have joined this year as a result. The content is so great!!

Excellent news app. Since becoming a member almost half a year ago, the app has undergone some awesome changes. It puts out more and more articles, the podcasts have remained stellar, and the level of interaction with hosts is incredible. If you like good, accurate and investigated news, this is the app for you. Even if you are not conservative, I would recommend using this to get some accurate reports and facts. They are not exactly driven by money and ratings like cnn, fox, msnbc etc so they can focus on good reporting. I highly suggest The Daily Wire if you are considering it. I pay the highest tier, $20/month, and it is now well worth the money. I also subscribe to the WSJ, and I would say I use them both just as much.

"Readers Pass" isn't Required, but good luck reading without it! ". I love the articles in Daily Wire, sincerely. What I am disappointed about is that first I was asked to "register to read", (yesterday), then today it's "sign in to read", then after reading 2 articles, it was "download the app to read", then right after I download the app, I click on an article, and it's "locked"..! It now says "buy a reader pass to read." Obviously that's a pretty fast pace from "give us your email address to read", which was only yesterday. It left me feeling harrased and annoyed and honestly, I don't know that I'll read Daily Wire now or not. There is a difference between the need to cover business expenses and just plain ugly greed. Pressure tactics are sickening.

App is fantastic. They do things right, at the DW. So many separate platforms have terrible apps and at the start DW app needed to improve for sure. But slowly, over time, that first iteration was worked on and now the app is one of my fav apps to use on my phone! I appreciate that the DW has invested time and money into improving their app and making the experience really nice for their subscribers. They could have been greedy and pocketed the money and left the app as many other similar companies do... but nope. They care about what they put out and I guess I just appreciate that so much! First time I wrote a review because I’m so impressed how far the DW app has come! Thanks DW team!

The App needs some work. I love the daily wire and listen and watch there content every single day. I continue to be frustrated by the same few things all the time. The app is sometimes difficult to navigate, but has improved with the recent updates. My absolute biggest pet peeve is the fact that you can’t navigate the app is landscape mode. I use the app a lot on my iPad and HATE switching between landscape and portrait just to select the next article I want to read. I simple can’t understand why they would allow landscape mode when reading and article or watching a video but not when navigate in the rest of the app. This is a simple fix i have been asking for for almost a year now.

Most Honest Media Source. As someone who independent of party and one sided views, it’s been hard trying to find news that is honest and factual. The Daily Wire is that company. They are a conservative media company but are open to let readers know about their bias. Most importantly, aside from bias, they present both sides of the argument and counter the opposing side. Each day as I read more and more about how Liberalism and Socialism is destroying America, I become more and more conservative. Conservatism is by far the more accepting, graceful, and gentle POV in America; contrary, Liberalism has become more Socialist and Communist, suppressing those who oppose their views and agenda. The Daily Wire points out these evils and attempts to show the world the true evil that the Democratic Party is in America.

Great content, crap app. LOVE Daily Wire. I’m an all-access subscriber because I support their mission and trust their reporting, and enjoy the commentary. That said, the app is embarrassing for having been around as long as it has. I’ll echo the comments of others about the lack of accurate bookmarking when pausing a video to resume later and the fact that they will randomly start playing when left on pause (to try to work around the bookmarking issue), whenever for instance my iPhone or iPad gets a notification. Let me also add that it drives me crazy that there still isn’t a full landscape display mode for iPad. Come on! Many of us use keyboards on our iPads and having to flip the device around with the keyboard on the side whenever we use the Daily Wire app is frustrating. PLEASE fix this!

Awesome, but missing a few features. It’s a great app and I love reading, listening, and watching on it. I’m very glad it supports PiP mode, so that’s very nice, but there’s a few things I wish it had. First off, I wish whenever you left the app bc you couldn’t finish a show, I wish when you came back to finish it picked up where you left off. I also wish that you could save certain articles (there may be a way to do this one, not sure). I also wish you could customize notifications, specifically for shows. I wish you could set up notifications for all the shows so it lets you know 5 minutes before that it’s going live (this may also be a thing). Just a few small improvements, but things that would put it over the top.

Love the content, app UI isn’t great. No issue with the excellent shows. My issue is with app on iPhone, iPad, and appletv. Just some simple things that top streaming apps do would make this a ton better. iPad needs a landscape mode. Both iPhone and iPad app need better navigation. I’ll get stuck in a screen and can’t go back to previous. Also just some user friendly interface improvements for trying to easily get to programs need improvement on Apple TV. A BIG problem for a streaming app is not having basic functionality to start where u left off in the videos. Either it doesn’t work all the time or doesn’t work at all. This happens on Apple TV as well. I know there is a resume but it never works or forgets what I was watching. I’m guessing these r already being worked on. Thanks

Ads cover link to content on bottom of screen. I like the app and use DW as a primary news source nearly every day. I have two issues with it: The bottom link to articles is often cover by an ad for Voyager, and I haven’t figured out how to access the content. It’s frustrating because you see something you are interested in reading and you can’t. It certainly doesn’t put me in a frame of mind to respond favorably to the ad. I don’t have a subscription. Would that make the ads go away? Is this an “encouragement” to pay for a subscription? The second thing is that while I appreciate the app being kept current, you frequently have to wait to see articles until the mandatory update is finished. If you don’t have decent bandwidth, it can be pretty annoying.

Content great interface horrible. I love Daily Wire, am a paid subscriber, but their app needs a total overhaul. After installing it on my iPad I discovered that it actually uses the Safari browser to display its content. Unfortunately when viewing Daily Wire content all other access to other tabs and the rest of the Safari interface is disabled. No menu, no normal scrolling, no way to navigate. The app is built for a vertical magazine orientation only and won’t rotate with the iPad when you switch to horizontal (it won’t even reorient if you rotate 180º vertical). What’s more, some of the content is too wide for the page design with words running off the right hand side, unreadable and no way to scroll over to view them. I have since deleted the app and find that the Daily Wire site works much better straight out of Safari. My advice, don’t use the app.

Overall great app. Platform and people of daily wire Are great. And Good app with good platform but they have no way to provide feedback other than on here. Tried their website. The fact that it rarely remembers where I left off on a video is annoying. It’s not hard every streaming service does it. If I stop video or leave app or phone locks it’s a crap shoot if you get to you spot again. Also don’t know why when I try to play thru my car audio, (Uconnect) thru a iPhone usb cable, the audio shuts off on videos. I’m not driving and watching I’m on a break in my car. Just annoying. It used to work fine all of a sudden it stopped. Fix those issues and back to 5stars

Wonderful content, terrible app. The DailyWire+ content is high quality and enriching content, I am a huge fan of what they do! Seeing someone who is willing to invest in creating content of this nature at this high of quality is encouraging. Unfortunately the app is very low quality compared to their visual and intellectual content. The app is unintuitive, you have to tap through multiple places before you can find the content you want, and it’s a 50/50 chance it will have the last episode you were watching in the “continue watching” queue. It also never saves your place in the video you’re watching if you stop part-way through. If you’re working through the Jordan Peterson Exodus series (as I and my spouse are), you have to write down somewhere which episode and what timestamp you paused and left off at.

Love DW, have idea for app. I know probably nobody at DW will see this, I wanted to start by saying I love you guys and your company. I’ve been watching Ben for a couple years now and have hardly missed a show. My biggest complaint about the app is that I have no idea where I left off. Shows should have a mark to see which you have watched and which you haven’t, and should keep tabs on where you left off in a given show. If I close the app in the middle of a show, I have to remember which one and also spend time trying to figure out the time mark to start back. If those things were addressed, this app would be immaculate. God bless!

Great content but app needs improvement. Love the DW for its content but as a media player, I wish you could pause things and pick up the progress easily, I wish episodes that I didn’t finish would be saved somewhere for me to come back to. Also I’d like we be able to favorite shows or have something that I watch or listen to every day be able to pop up. I even might like a separate notification for when a daily live show goes live, but not every one, just my favorites. And why can’t we comment with fellow users in chat on the app? So annoying I need to watch on my laptop to be part of the live chat. Also there should be an easy link on here to leave mailbag messages. Micheal Knowles is my favorite even though he’s catholic and I’m Protestant. 😜

landscape mode please. I have not used the app extensively yet, but I see one glaring issue. Though drilling down into the app brings you to screens that will display in landscape mode, you can only view it in portrait mode on the landing page on an iPad. I understand the choice for phones, but come on man! Also I cannot find a place to “contact us” on the app. Did ai just not look close enough? Otherwise the app gives access to one of the best sources of news and truth available. Thanks, and I am glad I took the plunge. I have been thinking about it for a while. Once I did it seems like a no brainer!

Great App with some minor flaws. I’ve had DW for almost 8 months now and love all the features & content - especially the daily podcasts. My only complaint is that on six different occasions I’ve gotten the “Whoops” error when trying to post or like a comment, and my comments and likes are not posted or saved. Several times I’ve reached out to tech-support, and I’m not sure what they did to fix it - but after a few days it seemed to work OK again. The last few times I’ve just waited on my own a few days and it seems to “right” itself. Very frustrating since I’m paying for content and can’t fully utilize the social media aspect. Has anyone else experienced these errors?

LOVE this company! Just a few suggestions for the app. If I’m rating the company and the content, 5/5 stars easily. No question about that. Ben, Michael, Andrew, and Matt are amazing and so are all the writers there and the addition of Candace is extremely welcome and exciting! As far as the app goes? Here’s a list of things I think would make this app near perfect! 1. iPad suport please! I use my iPad Pro every day and having the app orient horizontally when I’m using my magic keyboard would be amazing and I would be on this app SO much more often. 2. If the app could bookmark my spot in the shows, this would be an incredible feature. I noticed other people complaining about this as well. It’s frustrating losing where you left off. Basically.. that’s it. I feel like these features are simple and should be simple to add but I’m also not a programmer so what do I know. But also these features are kinda expected these days so I hope you guys can make it happen. Keep the great work coming! You guys at the Daily Wire are leading the conservative media into a new era.

Overall excellent app, but the iPad version needs landscape mode. The iPad version of the Daily Wire app looks and works just as well as the iPhone version. I would award this app 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that the iPad version doesn’t have a landscape mode. I primarily use my iPad as a sort of laptop computer, so the tablet is always using landscape mode (because it’s always physically sideways), except for when I use the Daily Wire app. Thankfully I can watch the podcasts in landscape mode, but I have to navigate the app sideways in its portrait mode. Perhaps it’s only a small matter, but adding a landscape mode for the iPad version of the app would go a long way in improving the user experience.

A few features would make this a 5 Star. I love the app and use it daily often using it to both watch shows as well as listen to them while I’m getting other things done. I am really surprised that it is lacking some key features such as continuous playback of videos with the screen locked as well as saving your place in the shows when you exit the app. Personally I don’t always have time to listen to a full show in one sitting and I often resort to guessing roughly where I was when I left off. I feel like these things would be a huge QOL improvement for a large amount of people like me who pay the subscription primarily for phone

Content is great — App is awful!. I love Daily Wire and listen to all the podcasts daily (or weekly where applicable). However, it takes a lot of patience because the app is truly terrible. Four major problems: (1) playback constantly skips, usually forward but sometimes backwards, always an unpredictable distance. So I’m just listening along, and suddenly the topic changes mid-sentence. Sure enough, gotta back up using the 30-second button … but then problem (2) surfaces … the time the podcast moves is not always 30 seconds, but instead is some random amount, so I can’t readily get back to where I was. (3) the app often (at least 2-3 times per podcast) simply freezes, with the content area going black, and the only cure is to reboot the app and then try to find where I was when it failed. That leads to problem (4), that the app no longer saves your place when you close it. It used to, but now it just reverts to the beginning of the podcast rather than where I was before. And no, it’s not my phone. DW is the only app with these issues out of the 7 podcast apps I have. DW needs to invest some money in getting this app up to speed. Everyone else does it, so it can’t be that hard or that expensive.

From a Liberal. If Im forced to to categorize myself based on my political beliefs, I’d have to admit that I am a liberal. I assume I’m not like the average subscriber... The Daily Wire offers me a place where I can hear unfiltered views that are sometimes unlike mine. There may be some content that I generally stay away from, but there are plenty of reasonable perspectives on the platform. It took me a while to come around to Ben Shapiro (I still heavily favor other perspectives, like Jordan Peterson and Matt Walsh, for example) but i have learned that he is not an enemy. He is trying to heal this country, and while i don’t always agree with him, I see him as an ally. His app offers me a well rounded view of the world and our country... I think ever liberal needs to at least listen to what he, and other conservatives, have to say. As a bonus, the app is technically impressive - bug-free, sleek, organized and easy to navigate.

Great app, except for a critical podcast weakness. I love the app, and I love having all (or most) of the DW content in one spot, but I’m really starting to lose patience with having to screenshot my progress in a podcast, and then when I reopen the app the next time I want to listen having to hunt for the episode, start it at the beginning, and try to find the spot I left off. Please, please, please consider adding the functionality of having the app keep track of where I was previously, and track my progress through whatever I’m watching or listening to. Other apps do it, I trust you all can figure it out!

We need Daily Wire. As a former journalist and Independent, I want to see all sides of an issue. Daily Wire is a good source coming out of the Republican/Conservative camp. There’s opinion, but there are facts and quotes to support it; the opinion is stated as such so they aren’t parading falsely. With so little media dedicated to this under represented side, I do believe it has value. I’ve seen many pieces written that aren’t shining an egotistical light on their stance and that’s refreshing. I use their articles as spring boards to more research and it’s quite useful because traditional media don’t report on a lot of topics that are of grave importance. This in itself makes DW worth having.

On a technical level, pretty good app. Politics aside, the DailyWire+ app is pretty smooth. As a person who develops applications and websites, the only thing I would recommend would be a way to just swipe left or right to go the listen, discuss, etc. Then you can put the shop button that redirects the user to a website on the top right. Another option would be to find a way to create the shop within the app which then redirects the user when trying to buy an item and delete the home tab. Users typically like an organized number of tabs so either of these options would result in there being 5 tabs on the bottom of the app.

Great App for Real News!. Kudos to the dev team for creating a pretty great app. My only major request is a landscape mode. I use my iPad mostly as a laptop replacement and hence it is oriented on it’s side all the time by dint of the case/keyboard I have. I enjoy reading news articles in the DW app, but I have to take my iPad out of the case to rotate it upright because the app does not respond to landscape. PLEASE GIVE ME LANDSCAPE 😫😭😁. My only other point of feedback, for usability, is that I think you should keep the back button (arrow) in the same position between screens. It gives a bit of an inconsistent user navigation experience having to jump from top to bottom depending on the screen I’m on. That’s minor though, please dev a landscape mode first!! THANK YOU! GREAT APP CHALK FULL OF REAL NEWS!

Oye…. Love you guys but please fix the podcast parts. When you listen to audio, mark where we stop listening! If we are listening and have to exit quickly or access a grocery list or something we shouldnt have to loose our spot in a 1.5 hour long episode. Its so frustrating when it resets back to the start. The only way tp make it save is to minimize the player to bottom of screen and then click the x from there and even when doing that if you dont want about 5- 10 seconds after to exit it will not save your spot. This is not new technology just make it work right, you have the fan base just fix the tech and you will have a home run.

App problems. Love the content.. Love the characters, love the news, love all the content. However this app frequently plays itself randomly in stores or while walking around if I have it open on my phone. Sometimes I pause it again and 2-5 seconds later it starts playing again when the screen lights up with adjusting the phone orientation or unlocking the screen. Even if I’m watching something and pause it to do something else and lock the screen, it will continue to try to play the sound while the screen is locked (after deliberately pausing it, as soon as the screen is locked, may relate to screen orientation somehow). Have to X out of the program and rewatch it later to shut it up. Super annoying. I have the top tier membership. Today I updated it and now it’s a black screen. Hoping that fixes today.

App interfaces horribly with my iPad Pro. I love the content of DW. It’s smart, it’s funny and free from the melodrama of so many other news/commentary sites. That’s why, I signed up— and have never looked back. But the app itself is another matter. The app will only open in portrait mode; there is no support for reading in landscape— rendering my expensive iPad useless. It seems like a simple fix, but what do I know about apps? So I turn my iPad Pro from landscape to portrait [a very awkward thing with the case and keyboard that I read and work from]— and what do I see? I can read the author’s copy, but every quote that is inserted? It bleeds off the page and I have to guess what the missing words must be. Please, please DW! Fix these two simple errors. I tried to reach out within your app— never heard back, nothing happened. Fix this and this ‘ole boy is a lifer!

Content is king but the app is awful.. I listen to DW all day every day. I’m not judging the content at all. I think they’re the best news source out there right now. But the app is awful. Simple stuff like when I turn off my car can you please pause the app? OK so I pause it myself big deal. Except for it starts to play again. No worries I pause it again. But it plays again. So I pause it again this time it sticks. But sometimes it doesn’t so now I have to close the app if I’m afraid that it will just kick up in the middle of a meeting. But then I have to go back into the app and find what I was listening to but there is no indication of where I left off. If you could just get the player right everything else will be perfect.

Changes needed.. Please fix your media content page. I don’t need an entire screen to 2 screens worth of one image promoting one piece of content. I have to scroll 6 pages, of only 3 images just to get to “morning wire.” Learn from the streaming game services and please display your media browser in that format. Also, every morning it’s a poor crap shoot if the page I was on even updates. Example, I went to work having listened to Bens show, next morning, bens show page doesn’t display latest episode and after trying to refresh now it won’t recognize any content, just says no episodes for everything. Reconnecting my wife doesn’t fix, only a hard reboot of the iPad fixes, for a day, then repeat. Other than these issues it’s a clean looking ap, and the content is good.

The content saves the app. The content is excellent (and probably what most reviews are about) so that’s the good thing. However, the app itself is not intuitive at all for watching video content (which I believe is the best thing about DW). If you have to stop watching something old halfway through, you have to go back and look for it and it also doesn’t keep track of where you left. For example, I stopped watching the (3 hour) Owens x Tate interview and now have to fast forward until I find the last thing I remember. I think a basic “Keep Watching” functionality (which is standard nowadays) would go really far and it could easily expand into Favorites, Liked, etc. I really hope this improves soon. Also, add iPad support for landscape orientation. It’s not a big iPhone

Good app missing a few essential features. Ever since I have been a member and used the app, there have been a few features I’ve missed. 1. I think adding a watch list/watch later queue is critical. DW puts out a lot of content I’d like to watch, but it quickly gets buried under new stuff. I would kill to have the option to add something to come back to later. 2. Being able to download and watch offline would be so clutch. I’m one of those people who’s too cheap to pay for unlimited data, and if I’m in an airport or on a flight with no WiFi, it would be great to catch up on some DW offline. Driving to work, I normally listen to shows on Apple Podcasts, but then you have ads too. Downloading and listening direct from the app would eliminate ad reads 😅 3. This is a small one, but the continue watching feature has almost never reliably worked for me. In my experience, things tend to stay there after I’m done with them but not appear there when I actually want to pick up where I left off. A small thing, but it would be awesome if it was ironed out 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Worth the subscription and they’ve just begun. Daily Wire makes a lot of promises and wouldn’t you know it, they always deliver! Since the beginning they’ve kept their word on what they have intended to do. No point in paying for Netflix, Disney and HBO or any of those other streaming services just to watch a show here or there when you can watch ALL the content on Daily Wire. I have not been disappointed yet. I am anxiously awaiting the rollout of DW Kids so my grandchildren can enjoy it too! Being an All Access Member has so many wonderful perks and is well worth the very reasonable once a year payment. Keep up the great work everyone!!

I Love Daily Wire. The App Needs Work. Daily Wire as a company gets 5 stars from me. Their content is refreshing and makes more sense than what most of this crazy new world has to offer. I’m very excited to see what content they have coming down the pipeline. The App however, needs help… My biggest complaint about the app is that it is TERRIBLE at saving videos/podcasts from where I left off. It is SO irritating always having to go back and figure out where I left off. The next thing I wish they’d add is the ability to download podcasts/videos to my phone, for those instances on an airplane where it’s not worth the wifi. I can download it from another podcast app, but I’m paying for the extra content for a reason! Lastly the navigation isn’t great, it’s a bit clunky. I know they’re getting their feet under them to become one of the great media companies of the country (despite every establishment’s constant attempts at hindering it), so I’m sure they’ll get there. But for now, the app gets 2 stars, but the company gets 5. 3 seems like a good number. If they iron out those wrinkles I’ll come back with 5. Thanks DW+ for what you do!

Decent app, some issues though. The “Continue Listening” feature for the podcasts doesn’t really work. Its stuck on some old episode from forever ago. Also, “View in Conversation” links sent to my email never work. At best it will open the app and take me to the article but it will not take me to the comment. Can I request a feature that if I click on the headphones icon that it takes me back to the main page for all the podcasts? Having to click the back arrow is annoying and most people expect a category icon to work like that. Other than these things the app performs well, nice UI/design and I recommend it to others.

App needs work, but love the company. I love this company…but the app really needs some work. I listen to Ben and Matt daily on my to and from work, during workouts, and any other time I’m not working or looking after the kids. My biggest gripes about the app is the confusing layout (especially for articles), and the fact there’s no feature to automatically download specific streams as they are available and dump after watching (like the Apple podcast app)… this would help tremendously on the island of Oahu where cell service is sporadic. Nothing is more frustrating than sitting in standstill traffic and watching the wheel spin because it can’t stream the latest episodes.

Amazing Content! App just needs fine tuning. I absolutely love all that this subscription has to offer: the news, shows, movies. It’s all great content! My only complaint is ease of use with the app. Little things could be improved like being able to have a show automatically roll over to the next episode and being able to search the whole library of content instead of just searching news and shows. I had no clue where to locate the movies until someone showed me. Another really good feature to add would be to have a watchlist or something similar, where we can favorite the things we are watching or want to watch. I really enjoy Daily Wire+ and hope to see some improvements with the app in the future!

Predatory subscription. Was led to believe I had to purchase an annual package to view a certain movie, which I did. I did not realize it was a subscription annually and after watching the movie immediately I never used their products again. 11 months later I got a charge to my card for another year and immediately went to cancel. Since I hadn’t used the services in months nor used them in the two days since renewal I expected a full refund (you know, like any other service subscription if you cancel quickly). However I was told that all subscriptions are final. So yeah I paid $288 for a single movie and never watched anything else. I used to really like these people but this left a terrible taste in my mouth. They’re worse than the “big corporate” they preach against when it comes to money.

Love Listen but Needs a Small Improvement. I love having all the DW content available in the app. I’ve noticed a handful of areas of improvement that would make it stellar. First, there are three or so comments on every article that repeat later on in the comment section. Second, better app integration with email links. Whenever I click on an article or video link from a DW email, it sends me to an Internet browser with a ridiculous amount of spammy ads instead of the app. I would agree with the frustrations echoed about Bluetooth integration/ disconnection issue and that videos/ podcasts just start over instead of going to where you left off if the app is closed.

Great content NEED DOWNLOAD FUNCTION!. I love the DW content (thus 3 stars), but I hate this app with a passion. Would give it zero if I could. #1, this needs a download button for all shows and podcasts for 2 reasons. First, my commute does not have good enough coverage to stream. Airplane? Forget it. Second, because I listened to you and switched to Puretalk, I no longer have enough data! This is also the least intuitive app to navigate I have ever seen. Long story short, even though I am a paid subscriber, I still listen to the shows on a third party app and hear all the ads! There are even some shows on the other app that I never even manage to find on here no matter how hard I search. Not a great way to keep me subscribing.

Rating for the App, Not Content. As a DailyWire+ subscriber, I (obviously) enjoy the content. My only real issue is with the app itself - specifically streaming. At times I don’t get to the live broadcasts in time and start streaming while it’s live. I like to hear all of the content so I start at the beginning. The most annoying issue is when the live stream is over, the app will no longer play the remainder of the broadcast. It ends when the live stream ends. I then either have to wait for them the finish whatever needs to occur on the backend to start it over and try to find where I left off, or go to another podcast app to do the same albeit without the extra subscriber portion. Having to switch around to different apps to hear the entire broadcast is a bit annoying. Having to either catch the stream *right* as it’s starting or to try to catch it at a later time (when I may not have the ability due to personal scheduling conflicts) is also a bit trying. Regardless, I enjoy the content this app provides for me on the go.

Fan of the content. App needs some improvements.. I’m giving this 3 stars for now because this is a review about the app and not the content. I just paid for a subscription so I’m excited to start devouring the extra content. Perhaps I should have checked out the app first before purchasing, but I suppose I had FOMO for the tumbler. Oh well. Anyways, I won’t parrot what appears in the top reviews here, but as iPad and Apple TV are my primary viewing options, I find it quite annoying to not have landscape view on the iPad or an Apple TV app altogether. I understand the app just came out, and perhaps there is a rollout schedule for these things, but flipping my tablet back and forth is a hassle. Please add the landscape mode, and please add an Apple TV app so I can insist my boss watch this content instead of Fox News all day (haha). Thank you.

Love this!! Please Close Caption all your content!!. I have not regretted making this purchase to become a Daily Wire member at all. I have enjoyed all of its content and the amazing brains we get to tap into on a daily basis. It’s inspiring and what we have been waiting for for a long time. I only have one complaint and this is that my deaf husband can only watch the series shows because there is no Closed captions for him to read on the others. He really wanted to watch Shot in the Dark with Candace Owens but it doesn’t have CC 😔 please consider changing this, there a lot of people in the deaf community that would thank you!!!! Keep up the great work and being the voice of reason in this day and age.
