Outstanding!. I loved playing this on pc and I am amazed that it plays so well on mobile! Amazing game, of course, but I can't say enough how impressed I am with the quality of the app. It does drive me a little crazy sometimes trying to play fast with my big fingers on a little screen and I definitely have trouble micromanaging my army during battle but honestly, I cannot imagine a better Total War experience on mobile.

Great game with some flaws. I love the game and how it plays. I only have one major complaint. I’ve started a couple of campaigns, but a common theme among them is that no matter how I play diplomatically and militarily, I always end up having to fight 7 different countries at once bc they don’t really go for each other. For the most part, they just target me. Ive even had Portugal come attack me in Dublin for no apparent reason. They won’t fight the Spanish or the moors. I’ve maintained a few alliances but that doesn’t do much to help. It basically just guarantees a little time for you to prepare to fight them too. also, I have noticed that enemies get units that they shouldn’t be able to get. For example, I fought Milan who held three cities and no castles but they were somehow getting knights and also handguns but they did not have the infrastructure for that when I finally took over. They be cheating lol.

Only one question. The problem is on custom games for some reason it doesn’t let you do the settlement level customizer I clicked through all the maps and it doesn’t allow me to edit it. I could just be dumb but I’m not able to figure it out. overall I’m addicted to the game, well done

Great on campaign map, battles a little buggy. This port is perfect for iPhone. While playing on the campaign map is intuitive and smooth, the battles can prove difficult. The controls work, but on a smaller screen can prove annoying when issuing orders. I’ve been able to utilize the pause button, which is essential if you want to have nothing go wrong, this has helped that issue a bit. Overall, still the Total War we know and love.

Strong nostalgia; balky interface and crashes on iOS. Loved this game back in the day, easily the best historical TW game (for its time) ever. And this port onto iOS captures a lot of the charm in a portable format, which is great. However, the battle interface is really balky; selection/deselection options don’t actually work as advertised and pathfinding is as bad nowadays as it was in the original. Also lots of crashes, particularly when trying to recombine scrap units after battle rather than retraining them all. These are minor things in some ways but after a dozen crashes trying to patch together an army after a siege it gets pretty old. Hopefully there will be ongoing support to vindicate the promise of the release but for now it’s fairly frustrating.

First time set up. First time set up won’t download. It says there is not enough room when there is very much enough room. You guys advertised 3d battles, yet I can’t play them. If this is not addressed soon I want a full refund you guys sold me a broken game. The key feature of total war is the battles without them this is a poor man’s civilization…I didn’t want that at all. Again if you guys can’t fix this today i want my money back today. Thank you. Btw just bought it and can’t play it. You guys did good on time but shïït the bed on this one.

Great Port. Quality of life improvements since the Rome editions. Works flawlessly with my stylus, didn’t even have to play around with iOS settings. Ai control of tax makes settlement management much less tedious. Only thing missing from the original is the ability to side by side settlement list and build menu.

Amazing game. I love the game always has been a big fan of total war, never could have played it because I never had a pc but when this game came on mobile I was excited, though I wish the AI was more smarter in battle, in siege battle they would group up in the town center and sometimes they wouldn’t move from the walls. Some things I would like to see in the game is multiplayer mode. It would make the game more fun. I also would the love the ability to have mods in the game just like how pc are able to mod the game.

Stunning. I had this game back when it first came out on P.C. To say I was beyond thrilled when it came to iOS would be an understatement. The nostalgia has taken me back to when I originally played this game when it first came out. Awesome job to those who made this happen! Thrilled to see them being the expansions packs to this game like they did with Rome Total War. Have already put several hours into this and look forward to putting more in to the different expansion packs. Thank you! Highly recommend this to anyone!

New game. Company of heroes is a good game but it is hard to play for a long time I’m like medieval to in Rome Total War how you can do campaigns and stuff like that if you do make a new game you should combine company of heroes and the stuff you have in Rome Total War and MEDIEVAL II where you can build your units and attack say Germany or do World War II with it instead of small battles here and there for a set plan instead of you making your own future

Love it. Just waiting for the dlc. I absolutely love it! I first heard about the series 5 years ago by chance when it was first on pc. I never got to play it but I always watched others play it. When I saw Rome go on mobile I was happy. I played on it for a long time and Macedon grew on me. Then I learned about Medieval 2 going on mobile and I was just as excited. I have the game now and it’s just a good time for me. The next best thing for me is that Kingdoms dlc. I’ve heard much about it that it’s a great dlc and adds more immersion and gives people an opportunity to play against each other. When the time comes, I will be ready to test myself against all the pros, especially my Total War hero, Pixilated Apollo. Oooo I’m so excited!!!

Wonderful port, but need a stubborn bug fixed. This is a great port of a wonderful game — totally worth the money. While I would love full mod support, I understand why that’s difficult on iOS. However, PLEASE add a way to disable disasters or at least floods. The flood bug (drastically limited movement and no watchtower construction in a territory after a flood for the rest of the game) is absolutely game breaking if it hits one of your important territories early in a game. Just allowing a preference toggle to disable floods would sidestep the bug.

Good but clunky. I love total war with this installment on PC being my favorite. On my iPhone is a great chance to replay it on the go and when I can fit it in. That being said large battles are VERY cumbersome to micromanage causing me to consider auto resolve far more than I like. Trying to handle menus and all the intricacies of the map is pretty hard on a small phone. If you play this I would highly suggest a large phone or iPad but for a great experience you need a pc which is where this game really shines.

All time favorite -must play. Not lightly said, this ( and total war Rome) have been a favorite for years now. Anybody who has love for age of empires, command and conquer, StarCraft and all those types of games - NEED to play this one. Very few games have reached this caliber - hopefully devs won’t forget this classic and make more like this one!!!

Favorite game. This game brings a new era of fun to me. This is not a scammer game like rise of kingdoms this game is what it says it is. A great strategy game for mobile. I have been searching for a actual good game for years I have finally found it!!! Though the pikemen and the the gun units usually bet super bugged. The muskets keep walking backwards and the pikemen are useless unlike the Rome pikemen who were great in comparison.

Probably best game out out on mobile devices. As I played this game for the first time, it felt so fun but boring at the same time and dint feel fun once I heard that the pope has to like you or no one else does, one time I played as France, got Rome and tried to become friends with Spain and other catholic nations and all of them said no, maybe it was just that the game may have lagged but overall no other problems! (Keep up the good work 👍)

Very fun could use some other updates for more fun.. The game overall is great. The updates I think that should be added would be the ability to split your army during battle. Like choose light infantry and split them in to smaller groups and maybe even merge them with other units. Another update that would be cool would be a naval update which will add 3d battles for naval skirmishes. Then for that you can add spy, and assassin cutscenes for naval related things. Another update would be the adding of a few new units like: Bomb units which can place bombs near walls to blow them up, another unit could be maybe sharpshooters? For them they can use a longer musket and have far better aim, and last unit you could add can be either slingshot units, or a special naval unit of your choice. And the final idea for an update could be either a joke update or an April Fools update which can add hogriders, Russian bearriders, and maybe even a giant or a dragon.

Crashes all the time. This is a great game with amazing graphics. However it crashes all the time when I close it and try to open an app the next day. I have to delete the app all the time and reinstall it via App Store. It is not convenient. I am very disappointed especially since I’ve paid money for this game. Would be nice if the developer would get in touch with me and help to address the issue. Thanks in advance.

GET THIS GAME NOW. The Total War series games (Rome Total War, Total War Barbarian Invasion, Medieval Total War II, Empire Total War, and Shogun Total War) are my favorite games of all time… I played hours of these games on PC when they first came out. My PC burned out and my life got busy… I let go of these games until… RTW appeared in the APP store for Ipad! The developers did a PHENOMENAL job translating these games! Medieval Total War II is so fantastic you will never regret purchasing it. You can read the other reviews, so I’ll leave you with these additional tidbits- while you are playing (in the campaign, in the middle of a battle) you can close out with the home button, and open the game up later and there you are! Right back where you left off… no freezes, no lost games. The battles are just as smooth as the PC version… it just takes you a bit to learn how to navigate with the Ipad controls… but once you do, no problems. Nothing is lost or compromised in the Ipad version. After you play your first campaign, ALL of the factions open up and you can play any of the.. Hungarians, Russians, Portuguese… no limitations. You can play just the battles… famous ones plus your own custom designed encounters. The creative team of these games should get an award.. if you love Medieval history, you’ll love this games!

Best total war comes to iOS. After a few long years of waiting for a new total war game (old I guess) to come to iOS it has finally happened and does not disappoint. If they could have added more things to make it more unique than the pc game would have been better but hey that game is already Great so I can’t complain. Good jobs guys very well done

Great but some work to smooth out the rough edges. I played Medieval II on steam a lot, and so obviously I was excited when this was announced, especially since I can’t play on my PC while away at college. It’s overall a great game, but has some rough edges that bother me. Just little things like I set the time limit of the battles to be 45 minutes but there were no time limits when I entered the campaign. That takes away the possibility of sallies ending in a draw, which I normally do a lot. The way the messages come in one at a time then disappear is weird. Merging depleted units together is an absolute pain and I almost thought that the feature was taken away for a bit. AI characters move slowly until you fast forward them, which is normal, but they go back to moving slowly despite me not pressing on them to do so. There’s a lot of white space in the buildings and troop selections, so I feel their icons could be made a little bigger to better tell which is which without looking at the description. Aside from these small details, I really like the game. It’s a very good adaptation from the original. I don’t know if there are more TW games to come after this one, but it would be awesome if there were. Look forward to new updates.

Question. Hi! I love this total war medieval series. I play this all the time. Medieval is one of my favorite century's. But My number one is the musket fighting. Including the American revolutionary war. I cannot get it because I don’t have a pc currently due to my old one breaking. My question is will you make Empire Total war on Mobile?

Total war: Shogun 2. Thank you so much developer for answering and solving my previous questions! Also, I wonder. Could you team also make total war: shogun 2 in an iPad please? If you do, please make cheat codes available as well. In pc version, there is no cheat codes available and it is difficult.

Cool game but there are a lot of problems that set it apart from Rome total war functionality wise. The health of your own troops is dramatically low compared to that of the AI’s regardless of the difficulty and unit type The selection of units is janky and often does not work you can select units you didn’t push or accidentally unselect ones you didn’t mean to unselect Also the running option of troops is also a problem when you double tap it does not immediately make them run it merely starts them walking in the direction you want them too you either have to double click or push the run button to get them running or change the speed of the unit It is a fun game and I love it please fix these small issues as they impact the game a lot and also add the expansions of the pc version such as the americas and Britannia whether those could be separate games like barbarian invasion is to time total war is not an issue but it would fun to see

Lost Track of Time. I can spend hours playing this right in the palm of my hands now which is incredible. Such a great port as well with relatively easy to learn gameplay mechanics and a very user friendly interface. They should definitely release the expansions similar to how they did with their Rome Total War ports!

Awesome game but diplomacy is still broken. In my opinion I think the game is great and the controls were good (i’m on an iPad btw) but one glaring issue I faced while playing this game is diplomacy no matter what I propose they always deny even if it says very generous they just straight up deny, not sure if this is a bug or if it’s intentional but please fix it, but overall good game I would recommend it, hopefully they will add kingdoms.

Great game, but…. Everything is cool and awesome! I love playing this game. However I have two problems: 1) When I touch the menu of faction, where I can choose the list of cities or the faction members, sometimes game stops to react on my touches, so I have to re-open the game, and then this problem disappears. Hope you will fix that soon. 2) In the Teutonic campaign, on 268th turn, I faced one problem: game freezes. It happened to me when Denmark besieged one of my cities (I play for Novgorod), and when I try to attack them from the city, the game freezes in one moment, no matter what I do, but music continues to play, so I can’t even stop the battle, and I just re-open game again, and I must start this battle again, and the game during the battle freezes again. I can’t go further. I really want you to fix that because I paid money for the game and for the DLC, and I want the game which won’t bring such technical surprises.

Fantastic Game. The devs have done an amazing job adapting this game to a mobile format. It plays so much like the original pc version, the only difference is the touch screen controls, which do take some getting used to. Otherwise it’s a seamless transition from pc to mobile. I’m hoping now that the Medieval 2 platform has proven successful that other versions of it such as stainless steel or third age also end up with a mobile version.

Not what I expected. I was super pumped to get the game when you could pre order it. After it came out today, I was very excited to try it out, but I got disappointed after about 10 minutes. Firstly, there are a number of minor issues with the campaign map. For example, it takes around 3 seconds for the game to respond after you have clicked the end turn button. You could also use the same or similar GUI screens as Rome total war to make it easier for veteran players to navigate the building and recruitment browser. Secondly, it has become very hard to win siege battles. One time, one of my militia spears started to bring the battering ram to the gates with 150 men, and by the time the gate was destroyed, only 30 men survived. Not to mention I was playing on easy mode. These are a number of minor issues, but the graphics overall are much better than the Rome total war graphics. My number one concern is probably to make the GUI a bit more fancy.

Amazing game. Using the iPad Pro 12.9 with mouse and keyboard takes me back to the good old days of playing in pc however the graphics looks far better than I remember one gripe I have is that the mouse scroll is inverted I wish there was an option to change that other than that it’s been awesome to play this again after so many years y’all have outdone yourselves again feral interactive

Just minor changes. It is great, it is finally released. And finally I can play it again. A couple of changes would be great add to the greatness already been done by having the game 1. I can’t wait till the expansion kingdoms specially new world and crusades 2. Is there any possibility to remove the historical accuracy. Specially the mongols hordes invasion 3. Would be great if we can access the cities progress from campaign map. The same way it is accessible in ROME Thank you again guys

Adapted and improved!. It’s hard to adapt a classic PC game to mobile, but this is how you do it. It’s UI and feel is better than Rome Total War mobile, and it’s look is a great tribute to the original in every way. There are some natural limitations with mobile strategy, but this game is well worth it. Would absolutely recommend!

Best mobile war game PERIOD. If you’re on the fence, this is the best game on mobile for building an economy and raising an army and conquering the world. The campaign is amazing but you can also set up custom battles and defend your castle or assault one. It’s just like the original game on PC and even has updated graphics. In short, it’s awesome. Download it and you won’t be disappointed. It’s $15 for a reason. I hope they port Shogun next!

THANK YOU👍🏻👍🏻. Thank You Feral for bringing Medieval Total War II to the Mobile Platform. All of the coolest features from Total War are here including the most awesome battle units from Europe, to the Byzantine’s and the Caliphates, to The Kingdom of Jerusalem to Antioch , and all the way to The Americas are here and of course Total War’s signature Intro’s and Gameplay Music. I purchased both the game and the expansion pack yesterday and Feral included the View Settlement on Battlemap Mode and that had not been done in the past for the PC nor Mobile but now its here and I used it a few times already and its just Totally Cool. THANK YOU!! Well Done.

Brilliant port, Best strategy game on IOS. We all knew this game was going to be another port that Feral absolutely knocked out of the park! Pre-ordered the game as soon as I could, and playing it now, all I can say is that the team is doing a great job porting these classic games. Controls are as intuitive as ever in my opinion, no complaints on that. The only issue I have is that when I open the game, the screen is displayed upside down and I can’t get it to rotate to the way I’m most comfortable with playing (this is no longer an issue with the latest update). I imagine it would be quite a simple issue to fix, since it wasn’t a problem in the ports for Rome: Total War and Rome expansions. Nonetheless, it’s a five-star experience by my judgement, and I recommend it to any total war fans looking for an accessible way to play Medieval II. :) Edit: Thanks a lot!

Controls/gameplay. Some of the controls are a little tricky that need to be fine tuned such as selecting units and placing them, merging button would be an amazing feature unless I’m missing where that’s already a possibility. Took me a minute to figure out that selecting an army from a settlement, then instead of dragging from the troops, you drag finger from the settlement you can send the forces you need. Essentially changed things finger wise from Rome Total War. Overall I love the game and brings me back to my childhood and I see myself spending a ton of time playing it just as I did Rome Total War. I hope the dlc for Medieval will all be available down the road. ** I will go back through and watch the tutorial videos and see if anything is explain then update my review. Otherwise thank you for remaking this game!

Stayed up late, was not disappointed. You people at Feral just realize how much time is going to be thrown at this game right? I though Rome on phones was bad enough for both my sake, my sleep schedules sake as well as my phone’s battery, and yet here we are again. What are we to do with you? All jokes aside, you guys hit it out of the park. The UI is great, love the new icons. All factions, options, units and events are there just as on PC. Haven’t encountered nearly as many bugs as when Rome was released, so kudos to that. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful it is to see games I grew up with in my teens now in handheld form over a decade after it’s release. Just goes to show how much these games are loved, and how much we as a community appreciate your work at reviving these classics. Keep up the good work Feral Interactive.

Good game but a few glitches. I enjoy this game a lot, I've always wanted some real RTS games on mobile and feral interactive has done a great job but there is still a few bugs to be worked out in this game. For some reason when I send an army to garrison a town my whole army will just disappear forever, just gone off the face of the earth. It happens quite often I'm on my second campaign at the moment and it's probably happened 9 or 10 times which is extremely annoying when you have a vetted army from 7 crusades, you can usually fix this by just loading the turn over again but if you're moving your troops towards the end of your turn like I do it just feels like you wasted 15 minutes. All in all a great game and I hope Feral keeps adding more

Good but not as smooth or fun as Rome Total War for iPad. The game is good, but it’s nowhere near as smooth as the iPad adaptation for Rome Total War 2. The battle mode is a cluster, troops don’t move together and turn into a mob immediately. Movement seems very off and troop regularly “get confused” with your orders. Many times the battles are so dark that you can’t see anything and have no clue what is happening, plus most troops look the same so it’s very hard to tell what is going on. I’ve logged many hours on Rome 2 and love everything about it. Midevil 2 just doesn’t seem to be as fun or user friendly

Total war in iOS? Yes!!!. I love this series and it’s amazing to play on my iPad. I use the Apple Pencil and it’s easy to select or move things in the game. It’s just like I remembered minus a few things to make it work on iOS (completely understandable). Since putting the game on my iPad I have won the grand campaign four times. Are there plans to bring the expansions to iOS? The next game in the series is Empire Total War, and it might be the best version of Total War. I love how it encompasses more of the globe and adds real time naval battles. Is there any chance you all are bringing that to iPad? because I need to preorder

This is an amazing port!. It runs very smoothly and battles work like a charm with touch controls. Feral Interactive does a great job with all of their ports. However, I would like to suggest for this team to add the ability to change settlement names like in the original. The feature is small but adds a like to role playing.

Brilliant UI and mechanics. I love Medieval 2 so much, and this mobile port is a triumph. The UI on the campaign screen is perfect for small screens. So many of the information pages are better than the original. Many of the secret values have been revealed, for example the purity stat for priests. The stats on the main faction screen are brilliant and I wish they were on the PC version as well. The battles are less clunky than Rome on mobile. I love the work they did porting Rome to mobile but this is even better and I hope that many of the choices they made for this port make it to the Medieval 2 remaster that I hope and pray Feral is working on right now.

Absolutely love this game!. I’ve been wanting to get this game for a while now, and I finally just bought it a week or two ago. I played TW: Rome for iOS before MEDIEVAL ll came out, and I absolutely loved it! But I’ve also been watching a lot of Youtubers play MEDIEVAL II on the PC, and I was hoping that someday it would get ported to iOS (Knights are awesome!) Custom battles are the best feature in the game, at least in my opinion (making epic scenarios and crazy sieges is a fantastic way to pass the time), and the campaign is awesome. The only suggestions I would make (and of course—they’re just suggestions) is to make some of the cavalry units—particularly the Knights Templar and Knights Hospitaller—dismounted, but of course I’ll understand if this is not implemented. The only other suggestion I would ask is to make it so that when you have to close the game during a battle (for whatever reason), you can reopen the game and have the option to still play the rest of that battle. Still, I ABSOLUTELY love playing this game and it is DEFINITELY worth the $15. [P.S. I have found that I am unable to rewatch ANY of my battle replay videos. The game crashes EVERY TIME I try to load a replay. I just wanted to bring that to your attention. I still love the game.🥰]

Great game with some minor bugs. This game is almost a completely perfect port to mobile, in my case IPad Pro. The only issues I have with it are dealing with the mouse and keyboard controls. Most keybinds are carried over from PC which is amazing as it comes second nature to me, but, for some reason they tend to also have a side effect of halting selected unit orders. So, for instance, space bar to see unit orders will then cancel the orders. Or using wand to move the camera maybe to get closer to the unit you want the selected unit to attack or just to get a different view will tell whatever unit to stop doing whatever it was doing. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed soon but still an amazing port.

EXTREMELY GREAT GAME. Ever since I got this game it’s been amazing I know it’s a little pricey but it’s definitely worth it. There is endless thing’s to do and one thing I very much enjoy is the fact that there is a sepret campaign for beginners when I first started total war I didn’t have that so I am very glad that is in the game. Overall I think it’s a extremely great game and I am happy they added one of the best total war games to android/iOS

Where re you guys?. Hi as you probably know and people have mentioned for a while late game pikemen are a broken unit. As soon as they come into contact with a enemy unit they drop all their pikes immediately. Their pike are almost completely for show and they won’t use them for more than 2 second “literally”before putting them down to fight with swords. Even against cavalry which is what I thought they were meant to be used against. Can you please consider fixing the issue. Maybe a shell command that forces pikes to hold pikes or making them drop their pikes over a period of time instead of all together. It would change the game in such a fun way. I’ve wanted to fight with Spanish pike and shot formation but it’s sadly currently impossible to use this play style. And as we know pike and shot was a huge part of total war in Europe into the modern era. People really have been asking for years, can you do something.

Hands down worth it. After buying and playing Rome total war I can proudly say that this game has some of the best features feral can give you. As of writing this since the so is much more smarter and you have the ability to see whether the diplomacy deals you made were the right or wrongs ones. Since the previous total war genre couldn’t allow you to be able to see if the deal was agreeable or not. I personally can’t wait to see the other expansions from this game. I still think that having the mongols, timurids, and Aztec would be cool unlocklable factions in my personal option.

Best Total War. This has been my most absolute favorite Total War game for years. I was ecstatic when I found out it was mobile. I’m a big dark ages history nerd, and love playing this game over and over. Only thing I’d really love to have added is.. The Kingdoms expansion. Also,.. If possible at all (and I completely understand if it’s not possible) are the mods that include Lord of the Rings gameplay.

My all time favorite game!. Medieval 2 is by far my favorite game of all time, I can confidently say I’ve logged more hours on this game than anyone in the world, I’ve literally beaten the game with the byzantines 500 times across about 100 mods, and that doesn’t count the thousands of times on other factions and times I’ve played to about turn 60 to 100 and gotten bored, on steam alone in 3-5 years of logging time on steams platform I have something like 10,000 hours played, yes that’s right in a matter of 3 to 5 years I played ⅓ of my life….. That was all just to explain the extensive experience I have with medieval 2, now to the review….. The game is almost an exact copy of the latest original pc version, there are some new cool features, but for the most part the gameplay, starting units, territory, etc. are all the same, which I did originally find disappointing, but as I said there are some cool new features, mostly informational, but that is really all this game needed in a portal to phones/tablets. Overall I am happy with the port, but I would have really liked a few more improvements, but If you played and like the PC version this is a must have! The controls take a second to get used to if you’re not used to Rome on iPhone, but if you’ve played that already, you’ll be flying through turns on even the largest factions!

Should have kept the UI of Rome. The UI for this port is too cluttered. Everything is so small, it’s hard to see. The UI for Rome Total War port is perfect. I wish they kept that one. Other than that, it’s a great game. Update: Please fix the issue when you try to rotate through your settlements, the game just switches to your armies instead unless you have the buildings tab (on the bottom of the screen) selected.

We need more!!!. The rerelease of the total war games is amazing! With this we need the other games!

Underrated. This game is so good but sadly, not enough people play it.

Great Game love it (Edit). Ok so let me start of with saying the great things about this game 1. Great Time Period ✅ 2. This is may be my opinion but i find the game easy to get the hang of if you have played Rome Total War this should be easy for you✅ 3. Good amount of factions to play as only downside is the fact that the Papal States and aztecs timurids and mongols are unplayable but there suppose to appear for events later on in the game so understandable. Considering you can play as plenty of other factions this doesn’t matter✅ 4.Events that make the game interesting as turns go by Black Death gunpowder discovery of America etc ✅5.Cheats✅ 6.Big battles and of course a custom mode of sorts so you can create your own battles✅ 7. There is good customer support and advice✅ 8. All named generals have there own personality and make funny or cool speeches before the start of a battle ✅✅✅✅✅ 9. Historical battles there aren’t much but at least they are there✅Now for the things that need improving The graphics in battles aren’t as good as Rome Total War graphics particularly for the units and the environment like the trees bushes etc during the battles when you fight in person❌ kingdoms is here YAY! giving 5 stars 👍 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS Thank you for replying to my review Developer

Please Release Teutonic campaign expansion. Please when will you release the Teutonic Expansion sets, will buy ASAP. This game is AWESOME but I want more details put into the units that’s why I want the expansion packs pls!!!!

Best game on iOS. This (like ROME) is the best game on iOS. Pay once and play. Not a money grab game. Please bring warhammer to iOS next.

I cannot select custom settlement battle. It’s a great game and I really enjoy it, but for some reason when I want to play a custom game and I want to make it a settlement battle it won’t allow me to. Why is this?

Good. Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

Excellent but not without flaws. Another fantastic port from Feral adding to the success of Rome. This is just as engaging and almost as seamless and I hope there is more to come. The gameplay is as good as the original, and being on mobile is no drawback once you master the controls. I have noticed some minor tweaks needed with this one though which you might not expect given the high price tag. The battlefield camera is much harder to control (e.g zooming out every time you try and rotate) and units are harder to select than Rome. There are also a few bugs that would be nice to be ironed out, such as entire armies occasionally disappearing when you garrison them and fairly regular crashes. I hope there will be plenty of updates to come to iron out the kinks, otherwise this is an excellent mobile game that seriously sets the standard for what can be achieved on this medium. EDIT: Great to see some updates coming, though still some bugs that need to be addressed. Burning oil doesn’t work at all, for example.

Love this game. Please update for iOS16!. So many memories. Excellent port to iOS. However I just got an iPhone 14pro and the aspect ratio is now distorted. Don’t believe it can be changed in the app, please update it ASAP!

mediaeval 2 total war. mediaeval two is a great video game to see it's on the Apple store now that's great h I look forward to playing it very soon hopefully mechanics are the same as the PC version I think it's a great strategy game 450 years of different periods in history for your very interested in history period.

Brilliant. More than worth the money!. I have to say I was sceptical when I first heard Medieval II was coming to mobile even when I had been playing Rome without any problems. However, upon paying for and booting up the game, 7 hours later I had utterly forgotten previous concerns. Whilst the controls may take some getting used to, everything else in the game is perfect and the same as the original, even the graphics! If you have played Rome or other Total War games on on mobile, you will quickly discover that the controls are much alike and I had no trouble adjusting. I also had no difficulties running the game (with large unit size too) on either my iPhone 11 or iPad Gen 9 and haven’t discovered any bugs or problems thus far. Battles run smoothly even when closely monitoring the action and the thousands of warriors onscreen and my game has yet to crash or lag out. If you are looking for an offline, single-player strategy game that allows you to manage cities, units and battles all whilst being portable, Medieval II is what you want. Feral Interactive have successfully managed to bring a fantastic PC game in all its brilliant glory to mobile and for that alone its well worth the money.

Great Game. Loved the original and this is is a great rendition.

It’s not bad. Imma be real with you. I have been waiting for this game for years to come out on iPad. Rome total war just hit different, you know, so when I saw this game was coming to iOS I was beyond excited. But I regretfully have to say i am a little disappointed. It’s not one thing, infact I couldn’t really point out anything that’s wrong. Overall the game just doesn’t feel that great, my mind might change after playing a few campaigns but at the moment it’s just not as well done as Rome total war. This doesn’t mean it’s bad. I just don’t think it’s worth $22, especially considering it’s on the iPad. If you a are a diehard total war fan or love the medieval period I would recommend that you buy this game but not the iOS version, instead go onto your computer load up steam and buy it there. I am aware this is a brand new game for the iPad so I’m still keeping an open mind. All I can say is do not buy this game unless you really want to play it

Master piece. Thank you so much for bringing back this classic I will be forever grateful it’s everything I remembered and more. Now just one more to go the return of shogun total war please make this a reality

Help. It’s a great game and all and I really love it but what annoys me SO much is when heading towards a holy crusade troops can apparently sneak away and leave the army which annoys me so much. It would be great if you could get rid of this.

Good stuff. 10/10

Thank you!!!. just got this in 24h and I already love it! Keep up the good job 🤙🏽🇦🇺

Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much

A great experience on mobile, with only minor issues and things we want!. So far I have been playing 5 campaigns fully (and or near the end) : I have been playing Portugal, England, the Turks, France and Milan. All have been very enjoyable and are a great experience, and I’m planning on playing more. I’ve also bought, downloaded and played the Kingdoms expansions (all of them; from the Americas, to the Britannia, to the Crusades and the Teutonic campaign). In terms of issues, the main one are battle speeches. They don’t work? There is no sound, the generals seems to do their animation and be speaking, but nothing appears in term of audio, with only troops cheering. This is very annoying since it ruins the fun in terms of immersion and I wish this would be fixed. I think this is also an issue seen with the Kingdoms expansions. One more thing, I would love to have some factions unlocked : Mainly the Mongols and the Timurids (as hordes factions spanning later, a bit how the Slavs or the Romano-British are playable in the Barbarian Invasion RTW version) and would love to see the same thing applied to : The Mongols in the crusade experience, the Barons alliance in the Brittannia campaign, and the other colonizing powers in the americas (Britain and France) [All of them appear at a later date, which is why I presume they were not made playable, yet we can see that factions appearing later can be very playable in the Barbarian invasion module, so I would love for such a modification to be made].

10/10. Can’t wait for medieval kingdoms

Worth it. Got it for my iPad so I have a bigger screen to play on. Just like the old days when I had my pc. Amazing game, fun to play. Graphics are up to par too. Overall loving it. 😁

Expansion. This was very good and the grand campaign was very good but I paid money for the expansions and the expansions just won’t download, I paid money but it wont let me play. Don’t buy the expansion pack

Sound issues. There are sound issues, for example the gun firing sounds sometimes will not play, and in a larger battle sounds like clashing, arrows firing, and the rally horn are all missing.

Awesome. Preordered and waited until I could install it . It plays smoothly and looks amazing. I’ve been waiting for this since I was a kid.

Love it!!. I love the total war games I hope they add total shogun 2 and total war napoleon to the iPad as well!!

Great game!. Great game! Played many many hours already. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes this style of game! Wa super happy to see them release this game after playing rome total war. Graphics are nice and battles can be large!

Troop placement bugs. Can you please fix the troop placement?when i use two fingers to spread out troops instead of going where I want half the time they glitch out and deploy at a weird angle and I cant straighten them out no matter what I do, it’s really annoying because I cant make any organized formations.

Incredible. Absolutely phenomenal! Porting AAA games of this magnitude is a treat for us iPad Pro owners! Go feral go!

Great game one minor issue of mine. I’ve been playing a lot so far as England and the HRE but one small issue I’m having is once its mid-late game I can’t find a lot of my family members cause I have a lot of generals or I’m too big so it hard to find them. If you can add in the feature from Rome total war were in the family tree you can choose to look at the general and where they are on the map that would be super cool. Either then that I’m having a blast. Definitely worth 20$

Still bug fixing? 5 Stars.. I love everything TW when CA made actual historical titles so I’m astounded to see my beloved Medieval on mobile. And the fact that they’re continuously bug fixing and updating the game? Amazing. Who knows maybe they’ll add some new flavours to the game!

I paid money for this and I don’t even have control of it.. My troops are doing what there told to do. I feel like I’ve been robbed.

Nice. It’s awesome. Is it possible to add the expansion to the game?

Love these games. Make more Total War games for mobile. I will buy all of them.

Great game and worths the money. As a total war fan, I really enjoyed hours of playing this game on mobile. I really appreciate this port and It is the best strategy game that you can access on mobile phones. If it is possible, I really like to see more total war games like empire total war on mobile. Thank you for your great game.

This Game is Gold 🤩🤩🤩. This game is amazing! I love playing it, and I always end up having a great time! I love playing together with my buddy, we have a great time playing seeing who can win first! The custom battles are great and overall it is a great game. Trust me when I say it that this game is gold!

Almost Perfect. This game is so close to being perfect. There are only 2 problems. One, there’s no multiplayer this to me is such a missed opportunity that I would absolutely love to see and I’m really upset that there’s none in the game. 2 The game crashes not often but it’s annoying while doing big battles.

Kingdoms. I’ve already put so much time into this game, but I’m wondering if the Kingdoms expansion will be added/released on mobile too? Also, if price wise it will be cheaper than the base game as the Trilogy pack of Rome: Total War and it’s expansions were the same price as Medieval II.

Best mobile game. This is the most fun mobile game I’ve played and is well worth the money. If I have any complaint it is that crusade army units desert in the same turn as declaring for the crusade even if you’re headed toward the target. Outside of that A++

This has no big bugs or glitches. The camera can be a little tricky but this game has my hopes up for a possible: total war napoleon on mobile.

Awesome game. If you like total war games, this is a no brainer. More polished and intuitive than the iOS version of Rome and just as fun as the desktop version of medieval 2 with some nice enhancements to how information is displayed. No issues with performance on an iPhone 12. Can’t wait for the kingdoms expansion!

Big ups with kingdoms expansion. Everything seem to work great the only crash I’ve found is the tap and hold to load last save from the launcher.

Problems with the end turn button. I suppose that a double-click check should be added to the end turn button, which is featured in mobile RTW.

Very good. Super good game just wish the camera angle went all the way to the ground during battles. Like the one in total war rome. It makes it’s hard to tell where you guys are without being to be level with them.

Best Developer!!!. It blew my mind someone put Rome total war on mobile phone. But also medieval and other big games like company of heroes and tropico! And more! I hope they continue and put out Empire Total War for mobile! Love the games, they run amazing! Please keep it up! 💯

Just awesome!. Was waiting years for the port of medieval 2 for mobile and it plays awesome specially on the iPad Pro with the M1 chip. It does get hot when playing inside 3d battles. You should optimize the game for the M1 chip if it isn’t already. Can’t wait for more ports like this!!! Ps. Would love to see shogun total war on mobile

Two handed glitch. I think y’all should fix the two handed glitch in vanilla ice been a real big fan of y’all’s game and it almost perfect I think it just needs to be fixed in vanilla on mobile I think it might urge people to buy it

So good but some crucial missteps. So happy to have this game on the iPad, but the unit control has some glitches. It’s VERRY difficult to change the angle of troops, their formation dimensions and sometimes the units won’t follow directions.

this game is better than sex. I love all the total war games. It brings me joy knowing they have them on mobile. Love medieval and Rome great games. One thing that can make this the best. Is total war empire or napoleon. But so far worth the money great purchase. I sold my child for this game.

TWM2 On the Go. Total War Medieval 2 was the reason I got into pc gaming. It’s great to now have it on my phone so I can play it whenever I want. It plays very well but can be a bit difficult to precisely arrange troops due to the small size of the iPhone screen. I highly recommend this game, it’s an awesome way to experience TWM2.

Amazing. It’s the full game on mobile. Playing on my iPad Pro, it’s so smooth. I’m amazed that I can actually play this game on my iPad. It was my favorite PC game 10 years ago and now I can take it with me anywhere. Freaking dope.

So annoying trying to adjust troop formations. Whenever i try to adjust troop formations with two fingers the soldiers go in the exact opposite way i intended, it even shows the little yellow markings of where they’re supposed to be right before turning them around. I dont know how that was messed up, it was fine before but now the game is needlessly frustrating to play

Love it. Great game! But, I’m wondering if you could request Creative Assembly to make mobile ports of Empire and Shogun 2. I’d love to play them on mobile since I can’t really play Empire often and I’ve always wanted to try Shogun 2

Best game ever. Been looking for medieval games that included siege battles until now I found the perfect mobile medieval game the amounts of fun I’ve had with this game is high. I also got one of the total war Rome games and had fun playing that too.

Please continue making the rest totalwar games!!. I’ve been counting the days for this one to come out the first rome totalwar was excellent but this one is just on another level when it comes to game play and unit armor upgrades. Please continue to make the rest for mobile and don’t stop!!!

Question. Hi! I love this total war medieval series. I play this all the time. Medieval is one of my favorite century's. But My number one is the musket fighting. Including the American revolutionary war. I cannot get it because I don’t have a pc currently due to my old one breaking. My question is will you make Empire Total war on Mobile?

Nostalgia with Some bugs. I miss playing this game. Loved it when I had a PC and now I’m glad to have this classic on my iPad. Couple of problems I had are with path finding during Sieges and anytime I have upgrades available they won’t apply after qeuing the unit for production.

This game is absolutely amazing, 1 thing though. I love this game! One thing though, the unit formation is tricky to do. Any chance you could make it easier like in Rome TW using two fingers to stretch and rotate the desired formation. That’s the one thing that’s the only problem so far. Other than that, it’s flawless!

Great but when is the DLC. I enjoyed the game when I was a kid and still enjoy it now. I am waiting for the DLC because those were very fun. The port is solid but be careful with boats because they can glitch into the land and kill all the people on the boat even the generals

Bug notification. Hello, I am sending this review as a report of a bug: The bug happened to me after a few hours of playing. I stopped for a few minutes, then when I came back to continue; load my recent campaign, there was a message stating: "Medieval II Total War has suffered a fatal error, and now will exit. code=361" It had stalled for a few minutes, but as of now, I have managed to get around that error, and can continue playing with ease. I hope this bug can possibly be patched so as to help other players facing this problem if applicable. Thank you.

You did it! You did it!!!!. I’ve played total war since I was a kid and here I am 37. From the days of dial up Internet and heavy monitors. To right in you’re pocket! I love it! My phone battery is gonna hate this 🤪 Seriously tho!!!!! Guys we need the expansions to this PLEASE!!!!!

Medieval 2, a gaming masterpiece. Total War Medieval 2, although somewhat lacking the historical accuracy department makes up for it in the absolutely amazing gameplay department. Hard fought battles that will keep you on the edge of your seat. My question to y’all is if 2 handed glitch is fixed

Unrivaled quality for a mobile strategy game!. Another great port for the Total War series; it’s a blast to play! Running through the British campaign now; just united the British Isles and now it’s time to turn my attentions to France…

Amazing game. I’ve played Rome total war and it’s my favorite game of all time when I had pc but it got old I’m so glad that they made this game for the iPhone it’s way better and a lot more entertaining! You need to advertise this game a lot of people are missing out on. With a phone cooling fan u can play this game all day

More For The Buck!. This great new total war is back in action and even better, yes it has better graphics and makes it a bit harder to control, overall new addition is excellent excited to keep my current Spain play though go good and continue the reconquista!

The bomb dot com. Fantastic gameplay. The only thing I hate is that I can never just play for 10 minutes, I always end up getting way too into it

Great. It’s pretty fun but sometimes the game breaks and it won’t let me move any characters or army’s and during mid battle the unit select screen disappears and I can’t do anything. I have a question tho will you guys also port the Medieval 2 expansions too???

Greatest game ever. I own both Rome and medieval plus expansions…played total war since the first shogun on pc..love these games. Can’t wait for the next total war period to come out on iPad.. love em all..history,war,strategy,3d environment to build and battle in..awesome!

Total war: Shogun 2. Thank you so much developer for answering and solving my previous questions! Also, I wonder. Could you team also make total war: shogun 2 in an iPad please? If you do, please make cheat codes available as well. In pc version, there is no cheat codes available and it is difficult.

Good Game.. The game plays well aside from some pathing issues in cities during sieges. I have sunken hours into the grand campaign as multiple factions. It is a fun strategy game. I would absolutely purchase a Shogun Total War release.

Good but not great. Started playing this morning, I can’t open my cities unless I click 15 times, and troops just kind of do their own thing on the battlefield. Custom battles are fun but really the only thing working properly. I know this is literally the first day so patches will come, just wanted to make yal aware of it.

Glad I didn't grow up on this garbage.. People that play this have no idea what strategy is. The AI is nonexistent and the pace of gameplay is generally just terrible. An absolute waste of money, and honestly the publishers should eat rocks and hurt themselves for thinking this was worth more than $1.99 maybe $2.99. It's a shame the guy that made that Mount and Blade clone didn't have the money and resources of SEGA. If you are a fan of this trash series, you'll probably like it. I'm definitely passing on the upcoming warhammer total war mobile if its just low quality NPCs clashing and struggling to move around. Warband, by Taleworlds; or even Bannerlord has supremacy over these corporate zombie rinkydink game.

Suggestions. So I love Total war games, but recently I’ve only been able to play on iPad. All of the total war games on mobile are amazing but I want more total war games like war hammer. So please Devs if you see this please reply or put more total war games on mobile.

All time Classic. Game runs great, having issues syncing my iPad play to my iPhone taking a very long to “Sync” . Also maybe add the ability to use cheat codes, use to be able to add cheats by pressing ‘ key and add the codes makes the game fun when your messing around campaign mode

Must play!. Total War games are some of the best computer games I have ever played. Adapting them to mobile was a great decision and hope more Total War games get adapted to mobile.

Needs balance. This game overall is a fun game to play but definitely needs to nerf and buff some units for example a unit of 60 heavily armored 2 handed knights will die to a unit of 60 lightly armored soldiers which doesn't make sense and also the cavalry needs to be buffed for example a unit of 40 mounted knights dies to a unit of 60 footmen please nerf and buff some units!

Love the company. What I would love to see coms to mobile next would be either napoleon total war or total war divide and conquer, either way great job in the game I’m excited for the expansion pack aswell. Keep doing great things at Feral

Truly impressive!. I got this game, unsure if it would be good or not as it was on iPad, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and detail put in, and the controls are super easy! I love the battles and sieges, as well as basically every aspect of the campaign. Thanks!

Best game ever. Over all the games I played this is the best one ever. There are no ads, good quality and is worth paying for. For crusade mode I think you can have a update for it and add a faction that attacks the anti crusaders and crusaders like the order of assassins. Over great game hope for more.

Amazing. I no longer have a computer I feel will run steam on and haven’t played any of the total war games in years after growing up on them. Bought Rome and this the moment I saw them, really hope empire is next to come to mobile

Addressing the elephant in the room. Great game port but there is one issue The elephants are op developers Please reduce the distance at which the elephants can fire not cool the timurids can spam elephants that can shoot half way cross the battlefield completely decimate my entire army even if I got cannons the range is no good compared to the elephants please nerf please

Great Port. Quality of life improvements since the Rome editions. Works flawlessly with my stylus, didn’t even have to play around with iOS settings. Ai control of tax makes settlement management much less tedious. Only thing missing from the original is the ability to side by side settlement list and build menu.

Spend hours on this game. Please update to where you can also control Allied armies instead of them just being AI controlled everything else is perfect

Just Take my Money. Please fix the Two handed bug, the Venetian Archer Armor upgrade bug and all of the buildings you build don’t show in the settlements especially the Orthodox Cathedral for Byzantium and Russia otherwise what a great game!!

Excellent game but crashes every time I go to save. Awesome port, but I’m 30 turns in and it’s already crashed 4 times. Fortunately it has a great auto save system and I lost zero gameplay. Almost every other time I go to manual save the game freezes and then crashes. Please fix… like preferably before you release a game?
