Great game with only one complaint.. I love this game it’s got so much different content from regular mmo questing to a fun boss system that’s challenging but not too much. The combat is fun although you do feel a bit OP at times but it’s not nearly as bad as a lot of games on phones. I love the voice acting for quests really helps immersion. I love that there are different mini games like puzzles and the flappy bird style game and that you can have your own camp to build like a civilization style game. This game is honestly all around great. I have only one complaint and that’s gender lock. I absolutely hate gender locks on any MMORPG not because of any bravado I can be male or female characters but I hate not having the choice. You set up an amazing character creation system but then take and lock genders to classes. Mages are almost always my main and prefer male mage like a virtual extension of me, archer or assassin classes I like females better like the fighting class I would have chosen a female character for it and male for my mage. Anyway if that’s the only complaint then 5 stars I love this game though I do hope to see non gender lock classes in the future keep it up look forward to seeing how this game evolves.

Absolutely amazing. This is by far the best looking and working mmorpg I’ve ever played on mobile it’s so fun and the gameplay is impeccable I’m playing on an iPhone 7 so I can’t access the full potential of this game but even at my level I can see just how insane it is there’s no doubt in my mind you’ll love this game if you like mmos now with that said it has its fair share of glitches one of which is when I enhance around half the time the game crashes but I do think it’s just my phone not being able to handle the awesomeness. But on a more important note the character creation is great but the classes are lacking compared to the gameplay it would be amazing if you could change genders of your class for example I always play as a male mage but the gender is locked with its class which is a huge bummer but whatever no problem I’m sure they’re already working on it.

This game is great!. I want to thank the developers for creating such a great mmorpg for mobile. I pre-registered but was expecting to be disappointed boy was I wrong! First off my witch is the most bad-assed character I have ever played! My first day playing was December 11 launch day. I had never played this game before and by the end of the day I had 2 pets, a horse and a camp of my own! Today is the 17th and I am level 41 and just put up a ranch in my camp to raise livestock. I love taking care of my workers and seeing my camp getting bigger and better along with my character! Black spirit mode is awesome, especially when you have a daily guild quest to kill 2000 monsters lol 😂. Go to sleep mode and let the black spirit grind lol 😆 I also like the knowledge component of the game. You get more rewards the more you learn about your environment. I also like the way the rewards for your camp are given for killing different bosses. This is basically what would have happened in the Middle Ages with a liege lord granting boons to his nobles for deeds they had done. I will warn you though this game is totally addictive!

Great game but.... To start the story is god-like, features and animations are too but there’s one downfall to this system. The PvP system. It’s practically broken. Anyone who is a archer (has healing abilities) or is a couple of power levels (CP) can automatically destroy you. Also there’s this broken system where you can lose yet face even stronger opponents, which honestly I have no clue what triggered this to happen. Losing = sometimes stronger opponents. Basically the PvP system is not based on skill but your level and CP (Combat Power). Yes, I know, people would say that just don’t play PvP but it’s fun to fight others which require skill not simple tapping skills. Other then that this game is lit. The black spirit is very funny and the game is only beginning. I would like to see the PvP system fixed or tweaked a little but other then that it’s a overall 4.7 rating. (Obviously can’t rate it in stars like that but whatever) Btw I suggest using the Archer or Valkyrie Valkyrie = Balanced in defense, offense and speed, good skills, amazing gear outfits, really good for the story too Archer = speed and damage, also god like PvP skills and cool skills.

Great game...then you hit a wall. Straight to the point Pros: •amazing graphics and smooth gameplay (if on current devices, nightmare on older ones) •engaging story •ability to use auto farm and fight functions •able to craft outfits, yellow items and orange items •world pvp optional( for those who didn’t play the pc or console version pvp was forced after a certain level) Cons: •despite the ability to craft progression to level up gear slows down after +25 •PvP unbalance in their arena (being matched with someone with 200 cp above or bellow you happens often) •The in game market merchandise is scarce (stuff sells out in seconds if and when posted) •The PAY WALL that comes when reaching the north mediah area is evident. Enemies become stronger than you can progress. Meaning countless hours grinding or speeding it up by opening up the wallet. As a financially challenged player the fun has slowly been drained out of this game for me. I am left grinding in the same spots time after time due to being stuck (currently 3555cp). My wife who has invested about $350 in the game (she has 4190cp) has also hit a wall because she cannot kill enemies strong enough. I can’t possibly imagine that I would be able to go to the Valencia area once it’s released unless they add for some serious cp boost. If you took the time to read this thank you and I hope it helps. Give the game a try, you might enjoy it and have better RNG than me.

I adore this game!. I’ve played Black Desert Online for PC since launch, and I actually prefer this mobile version for several reasons. They’ve kept the amazing graphics, and the character customization is by far the best I’ve ever seen in any game, while cutting down on the unnecessarily complicated systems you find in the PC version. I love the ability to use Black Spirit AFK training, which is an improvement on the PC version, IMO. I also love that the enchantment system is improved, and even though it uses more stones, can be controlled up to 100% until PRI and up (need more Advice of Valks 50%). The only things I’d improve upon would be the ability to see other characters clearly when up close (so I could enjoy others artwork), increasing drop rate for worthy rewards in the Boss Rush (currently the only items dropping through lvl 50 of each boss are light stone shards and little black stones for low level gear enchantment), and expanding on the storyline and map to include all areas available in the PC version. Wonderful game!!

WITCH (NERFED OR REMOVED). Everything about the game is GREAT!!!! Sadly the witch either needs to be NERFED OR REMOVED... Witch is too easy to play with to be as powerful as she is speaking from both sides of the moon. I hate I have to pick the witch everytime I go to play in arena or against any player. Everyone has her and the Witch is a toxicity that renders literally every class useless unless your power greatly surpasses hers. I literally just jump around on giants bc they are too slow, you can literally just run from them n keep attacking and you'd win with witch. The game needs to focus on making it more on a players true skill and intuition then even making other characters stronger... its honestly dumb and ruins the fun of being anything you want. Able to fight anyone withought knowing your gonna lose the moment your down 200cp to a witch.... my giant and warrior are powerful as hell for their levels. I have got beaten by witches with way less cp or lower levels. I know how to use all characters well, trust. Make giants faster, warriors with a wayyy higher critical chance, And rangers a better sub.

Huge paywall/PTW grind. This game would be great if not for the paywall grind. Reading the other reviews and people are either rich or they haven’t gotten past lvl 50. I’m lvl 58 and at around 3000cp and everything slows down to a crawl. I’ve played everyday since launch, have a full set of yellow gear all +25-27. In order to progress you will either have to spend 4+ hours everyday or spend tons of money, I’m talking hundreds, and for what? A mobile game?! There are tons of posts online about how this game was setup to milk money from North American servers. At my level I have 2-3 grind spots that maybe get me 40% exp for a level and that is with rest mode & BSM going almost all day. I’ve done every quest, every knowledge (up to new zone), and this game has taken over my life to just progress. It’s too much of a grind and too much of a money pit. Just knowing it will only get a lot worse is a HUGE turnoff and the reason why I deleted the app. Game has potential but is completely ruined by the HUGE cash grab PTW model. Be careful it will consume your life, especially your money.

Love this game!. I’ve played this on console already so I know what was to be expected. Already got in store purchases. The combat is amazing as always. Just wish you could remove capes which I’m sure they’ll update it when the time comes. Also it needs sensitivity for looking around in the settings. Also I’ve noticed that the characters seem slightly stiff when standing around and they don’t have that jiggle/sway if you know what I mean 😂 sorry I just had to say it. It make it more life like when things sway but honestly these things are only noticeable for players that have already played before and isn’t a big deal at all. You guys did a great job. If you’ve played MU Origins and v4 or any other MMORPG like this, this one is the top tier of them all. Pearls are a bit expensive but there so much to be earned within the game for free it makes sense. Also they have deals on pearls for new players/returning players so you can get pearls for very cheap. Great job developers! Can’t wait for Crimson Desert as well! Well gotta go play some Black Desert now 👋 lol

Looking good!. Hello Nerds! First impression is 5/5 stars. Downloaded and started playing once available on App Store (currently about 2 hours of game play time). The game play on mobile quickly reminded me of Lineage2: Revolution (L2R). As I began to play, I realized this game is so much more then a L2R knock off. Pearl Abyss did a great job making the game world feel alive and look amazing. You feel immersed in the world that is bustling around you. L2R seems dry and void of life after playing BDOM. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a mobile MMO. I am really enjoying the game so far, and from where things currently stand I believe they have set the standard. I have one recommendation when it comes to Combat. Currently, you can hold the main attack button to continuously attack your enemies, when you want to use a skill you need to hit the respective skill button. The skill buttons are located adjacent the main attack button. I would recommend making a player able to just slide his thumb to the respective skill to perform the desired attack action. I know that this might seem trivial or even comical... you don’t want to lift your thumb?! But hear me out! Next time your in combat, you will notice if you could slide your thumb to the respective attack skill it would make for a more fluid combat experience! Later Nerds!

My opinion. Alright, so first off, it keeps redirecting me to here, saying there’s a new version available... There isn’t. Secondly, the graphics could be a tad better, with a few fixes to the position of shields and stuff. Now, I have high hopes for the rpg, as I have been looking for one where you are yourself, not these random heroes that creates a party. Now of course, there’s also the mini game, I really like that addition, as most games don’t have anything you can do while things download and stuff. Then we have classes, I wish you could change the gender to make things more personalized, as a girl wouldn’t want to play a male warrior, and a guy... will half of the time choose male as well. Also, a specific color selector would be nice as an option, because they don’t actually have my exact hair color in game. Other than that, I haven’t been able to play the actual game yet, so I hope the story and things are good!

Fun and enjoyable, but major issues. Played BDM since release, absolutely stunning animations and graphics. Great combat system. Multiple classes that anyone can find enjoyable. Very pvp heavy for people just picking up the game or thinking about it. On a side note, Pearl Abyss has a subpar report system, where as you can report cheating and nothing becomes of it. Expect very little in response from them as a company. Game is very heavy in spending and if you join at this point is is basically an upheaval in trying to become relevant in their Level scaling. Combat system is very ping oriented and based on an Alaskan time which is 4 hours behind EST. So if you cannot make events cause of times that it is such as 4am events, you lose out on pivotal rewards. If you’re not based out of California your gaming experience will be nipped by ping and time.

Unbalanced loot and rng system. I’ve been playing this game since launch and I’ve yet to receive any red gear from shakatu’s shop, field farming, or world bosses. Yet, several people in my guild and on my server have gotten several. Hundreds of thousands of gold coins and no reds, not even a 3 slot orange. Relics, I’ve used thousands of relic shards and no orange. I had to buy my orange relic and it’s doesn’t even have the best ap/dp stats. Alchemy fragments, I’ve used thousands of those too, and have gotten reds but not close to the best stones in game. A guy in my guild has the god stone and rolled alchemy fragments this morning and got another god stone. Light stones, same thing. I’ve spent money on this game, more than I ever should have, just to try and keep up and be competitive with all the whales and people that have multiple red pieces of gear, orange relics that are leveled up, and for what? The advanced enhancements system is a freaking joke with as much as you fail. Now you can craft red gear after it takes you months to get enough boss fragments and the red item needed. By that time, pink gear will be out, red relics will be out, and I’ll be over here in Jin orange gear because the game decides who to reward based on money spent, instead of keeping the game balanced and competitive for everyone.

Phenomenal Game. First off, I have played many games on mobile that are just like this one(but they came out before) and this one is by far, the best I’ve seen. When one is looking for an MMORPG(Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) it hits all of the marks. Features include hours of character customization, a storyline, many and massive regions to explore, a balanced skill and leveling system, a book to keep track of what creatures you’ve encountered, beautiful graphics, and finally, lore. I spend so much time in this game just paying attention to minor details(from the trees, to other players). This game was definitely well thought out and acts almost as if the creator drew from the flaws of the others on the mobile gaming industry to essentially create perfection. One might even say that this game is fit for console because it’s that good. My only concern however, is battery consumption. This of course, isn’t a massive flaw as I can work around this, but it does get the best of my phone at times when I like to play for a prolonged amount of time. Other than this, I’d recommend this game to many and cannot wait to see it’s future. *Thank you to those who took the time to read this massive review. When I write reviews(which I often do), I take my work very seriously. I make sure that it’s well thought out and as helpful to the future player as It can be without spoilers.*

Taking handholding to a whole new level. Well first off id like to say that the game isnt bad. it has great character customization, a decent storyline, and lots of features that arent hard to learn. But my problem with the game is that instead of the usual handholding most games nowadays do, this game straight up picks you up and carries you through the experience, the most youd do to control your character is press a few buttons or just upgrade your gear. From just walking around to even combat is just controlled by the game and barely by yourself, like if you want to fight some mobs youd need to turn off the auto combat every time you get into a fight to at least have some control over your actions, the game is also really easy as you could just spam your special attacks and kill enemies, even the first “boss/miniboss” you fight in the game gets one shotted by you. All in all i just hope that the game at least gives an option to be able to toggle wether you want to control manually or have the game play for itself, but like i said earlier not in the way where i constantly need to turn off auto combat, itd be better to just turn it off completely until i turn it back on. A lovely frustrating game unless you are willing to spend money.. The start is lovely once you get close to the end game you spend hours nights days weeks grinding for one or two drops of items you need to improve your gear. By the time you get your gear grinding, some other new gear comes in. Unless you spend a LOTS of money you're not seeing anything of the end game storyline, or have a decent PVP gear for battles. On top of that, after you finally get the material to build the gear; for example: “accessories”, when you try to enhance an accessory, after you spend weeks grinding to build one ring, assemble it, just to: fail, (Item destroyed), fail, (Item destroyed) fail, (Item destroyed) fail, (item destroyed) to finally at the 5th try, maybe you will get it enhanced, and there is no other way, for if you want to awake the item you have to at least enhance it 5 times, then two more times for each crystal you need to add to complete the item. The armor: You can’t enhance it more than 7 but you need 8 to add crystals. You spend thousands and thousands of stones, money, and time, to never get it to level 8. It's a frustrating game. You will see the top, look at it well, because it's all your going to get or it, a view, you will never be there unless you spend 1000s of dollars on the game. It's a money trap. The market is so controlled that you can't make money to advance by other means. It's So frustrating.

This could be a great game but it’s following a terrible trend.. This game looks amazing, its fun, it’s a solid mmo. BUT I hate when a game of this caliber gender locks it’s classes, all classes should have both gender opinions. It’s a big disappointment to see this and normally I delete any game that gender locks it’s classes. I’m trying to make an exception cause I enjoy this game. But I don’t see myself spending real money in this game if I can’t play the class I want without having to be locked into a specific gender. My second complaint is the auto-battle, auto-travel options. I hate the trend that is coming up in mmos where the game encourages the “AFK” auto format “. I would like to see an option to 100% disable any auto play features in the settings or something. And my last bit is controller support, it would be awesome but I’d settle and be willing to pay real money if the first two issue me were addressed. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling as such.

New caricatures. Hi black desert when is there going to be a update with new caricatures I see other servers have added new caricatures to the game but the USA version has not updated new ones yet but y’all up date other things but new caricatures come one the one new caricatures you given us was dark night but there Are more. We want more for the USA server and can you make it that it’s easier to get pearls with out paying for them and this is dumb too why do we need a ticket to change uniforms and we have to pay for that why we can’t customized the caricatures for free and can you make it a little faster to level up this is an amazing game but make it that we can enjoy it more with out having to pay for things like customization and making a new caricatures and can you make it that we don’t hAve to wAit two days to delete a caricature and can you make screen less cluttered so we can get a better view

If only it weren’t so P2W. I really love this game, but after a month playing it gets depressing knowing that you will never have a chance to catch up with P2W players. Don’t get me wrong, I have dropped cash on this game. I don’t mind spending a little cash every now and then. The problem is that you unfortunately realize after some time that unless you spend thousands of dollars ( seriously, thousands ) you will always have sub par gear and stats. I have played to PC game for 3+ years. It does have some pay for convenience aspects that border on P2W, but you can still grind hard, earn in game silver and have a chance. Not the mobile!!!! Really tragic. My advice is like others here. Play to try out, but if you don’t plan on dropping cash, you made not like this. [ Update ]- To anyone reading this, you should notice that developer replies are always the same. ... [ Update] - Developer responded with canned message, so no real update here. This game is still a cash grab. Stick with PC game. Would be good to hear a strategy as they do with the PC game.

Couldn’t ask for more.. First of all, before I state every last positive about this game, I just want to state how thankful I am that no other dev has generated basically a copy of this game because it most certainly wouldn’t captivate all the exotic features Black Desert in particular boasts. This mmo is absolutely fluid in physics, combat, storyline, character customization, and and opportunity, and can basically be prompted as a game variant of The Lord of the Rings, How to Train your Dragon, and all other midevil-fantasy movies blended together. This game does boast p2w, lopsided pvp, and what-not which cost real money, but it’s win+win for the devs since all these payments most certainly help irl with server computer repairs and such which will especially increase the longevity of bd in the gaming realm. There also are options for auto questing/battling but there is a toggle for those options and you actually have to unlock them in the storyline, you have to play manually at first which is quite pleasing. There really isn’t anything negative to state about this game; bdm is a real masterpiece and I have no regrets to playing the game.

Twice won BDM champ here.. I’ve played Black Desert mobile for a year, and what stood out to me was its amazing graphics and an ecstatic community that was super super friendly and close knit. The game keeps things interesting with updates every 2 weeks that include events that keep you wanting more. And the best feature of the game is the Ramoness gameplay along with its tournaments. All round, the game had a really good start and showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately it’s now completely pay to win. The players who don’t spend, arnt able to play on a competitive level with the spenders. Hence players arnt able to enjoy the competitive platform that the game offers to be playing enjoyably. For example, I, who kept online for 24/7 grinding and never missing a single even or task, for a YEAR, was getting killed before I can even use a single skill ability, against those that have money to spend. The game offers skill combos and other mechanics that make the game so enjoyable, but NOPE! still gonna die by one hit by the people on the top 100. It’s really sad, and honestly quite disappointing when you think about all that time and effort you put into that game. TLDR: I quit cuz the game was very pay to win.

PC Player here, here are my thoughts.. So I’d like to say that I’ve been heavily supporting this game on PC for a long time now, so whenever I saw it was coming to mobile I didn’t really think it was gonna be good, because most PC games that are ported to mobile usually fail. BUT. black desert mobile did not fail in my eyes, you can tell how much work went into porting this marvelous game to mobile devices! But since it’s still in it’s early stages there’s been some bugs that bother me in-game. PLEASE fix the joycon ! Every time I try to move around with either a Fixed joycon or Free joycon my screen thinks I’m zooming in and it just zooms in instead of moving which is annoying especially in combat. Other than that it’s a great game! I’d love to see more classes join in and a gender switching option as well!! Thanks for all the work devs !!

Pay to be Comfortable. I have been playing BDM since launch day. It was tons of fun and I was able to stay competitive at first, but preferring to play free games for free is punished in unusual ways in this one. I expect to be a little behind in power. I expect to not (ever) top the ranks in PvP content. Those are issues one is used to seeing in Pay to Win games. Black Desert is one of a new and (sadly) trending breed of games that takes it a step further: Pay to be Comfortable. They offer sensible features like accessing your camp inventory without actually going to your camp, being able to skip long boring battles that you’ve already completed and jumping straight to bosses, using your horse’s saddlebags without summoning your horse, (only to have it run away while you’re still finding what you want) and a host of other quality-of-life improvements, for which you pay dearly. I enjoy the game, but I’m ready to move on and I know many who already have. Yes, they give away QoL items from time to time, but that’s really just enough to see how little impact they have on the game itself, but how much difference it makes to the game’s enjoyment. I get paying to leap ahead of the pack for a short while, till the F2Ps catch up, but when you have to pay to just enjoy the game, something is broken. If you want a game you can just have fun learning and playing, I hate to say it, but Black Desert is not the game for you.

Great mmorpg but need some gamin inspiration. This mmorpg is great!^^ the actions and battle scenes are breathe taking and quest, storylines are wonderful but I have to say this mmorpg is sexist due to our classes’s genders for example I wanted to be a male for a class that is only for females and they don’t feature that only body modifications and so on but not the gender it just makes me sad and another thing the problem with in gaming system. I am a gamer who looks for a wonderful real-world action mmorpg with breathe taking scenery (which it already has) and people to interact interest and open world advances and monsters to face I am just wondering is it still worth it...I mean I keep on looking for mmorpg and keep coming back to this one and still won’t download because of some problems the mmo had but don’t get me wrong it’s just my opinion. Most players would still play this games and I support them but I will just say this I will still look for a better mmorpg with great visual and ultimate “gender” modification. Exactly what I wanted. If you are going into this game after playing other mobile mmorpgs then you will find that it is way better than all the others. The depth is fantastic and they've changed alot including the starter area to specifically focus mobile play. You can auto track to the quest locations and auto fight. For a mobile game this is good gameplay to me, because you are on the go have a few minutes of freetime or have to passively play and cant focus your full attention. You are able to do many things without your full attention which is good. They make it so you have to do just enough to keep it interesting and fun. I enjoy the story just enough to progress because its fun to get stronger, go to new places and get better gear and skills! Bottom line if you are expecting a PC port to mobile you are in the wrong place, this is a mobile game expect the gameplay to be for mobile. Love this game so far and I appreciate all the developer has done to make it free and offer all thats here without purchasing anything.

Great game but it is p2w. I am really against any kind of auto play game. I tried many and delete it soon after install since so boring watching comp and do nothing. But this game really stand out of anything else i ever played. Graphic is insanely awesome. The concept of gear is really unique since i never see anything like it before. Owning a town and building it up is awesome part of the game. If you love mmorpg and also love building city type game. This game has best of both world. The fighting of mob and interface will be over whelm at first but after awhile you’ll get use to it. Game is so new and only a few class. Dont really like that you can not play a gender as any class. You pick a class and that the gender you place. You will pvp against other that pay or more than you and you will loose. Nothing you can do about that. But in all this game is awesome and really a class of it own with graphic and game play. From collecting gear to building your character and town.

Amazing MMORPG, but, one problem.. I’m still giving this game 5 stars, simply because I love playing it that much. I’m not sure if it’s because the game isn’t compatible with my phone, or if it’s because it’s such a large game, but it constantly crashes. At first, it would just crash when I tried to do missions, so I’d have to restart it a few times to make it work. Then, it would crash as soon as I loaded my character in the game, but eventually went back to crashing when I did missions, or pressed on certain things. I’m not sure if this is a reoccurring problem for everyone, or just for myself. I’m trying to look past this crashing problem, though, because the stunning graphics, and storyline make up for the little time I get to play before it crashes. I’ve only had this same problem with one other game, Honkai Impact 3rd, but it wouldn’t let me play at all. Other games similar to this have never had the same issue. I hope this can get fixed soon, but other than that, 100% recommended everyone to try it out!

Crashing. there needs to be more servers or something. i wait hours for downloads just for the servers to be busy causing me to get knocked out of my game. i have been trying to play for the past 3 hours now & it knocks me off within a minute. i usually love this game when it isnt so busy i just wish there was a way to prevent this. it has beautiful graphics & intense gameplay but the fact that it keeps crashing makes me want to just delete it. i wont of course but that doesn’t make my frustration any less. i just want to play it bc its so great but i cant. & that annoys the fire out of me. i dont want to have to stay up all hours of the night just so i can get a few hours of gameplay in but thats the only way. once it quits knocking me out i’ll give it 5 stars. but as of right this second it’s 3. & i feel so bad for having to lower my rating over something like this but it’s unacceptable. if something doesn’t change, i dont want to keep wasting my time trying to play...

I’ve been loving this game but I have one thing I have a problem with. This is literally my first review for any game at all so I will say that I hope this is something that will change in the future. To start off I really adore this game, I enjoy farming/grinding on any kind of game (and there’s a lot of that on this one) and I love those kind of games. For the upgrading system I haven’t seen anything that didn’t make sense or that bothered me but with that being said there is one thing. The totem upgrade is the only thing I have a problem with, you don’t have control over its success rate and if it fails then It will decrease its upgrade by 1 (if it is upgraded at all) now here’s the thing, I understand having it being a low chance because it will give you a solid amount of power when it does work, but all I’m saying is that there should be a rare item drop that allows even a little bit more success but make sure that that item drop truly is rare or else it would be a little to easy, I hope that this might be something in the future, even if it’s not I’m lovin the game but that’s all I really wanted to say.

Free to play server would be nice. This game is amazing in a lot of different ways, I’ve never enjoyed any other mobile game that has the word “auto” in it. I absolutely hated games with that feature. With that being said not having to grind and grind and grind like I did in black desert online is pretty dang nice. Now I understand this game isn’t completely pay to win but the fact that someone can pay $20 three times a week to get around 180 grand weapon stones is just a little absurd in my opinion. I’m not saying don’t allow that it’s how the company will make money and profit. Maybe i just have very wishful thinking here and it’s easier said than done but I think it would be awesome to have a server that was either completely free to play with no purchase able items (maybe cosmetics so they still make money) or even if you have to pay $10-$20 to access the server. I’m still having a lot of fun with this game but having people who aren’t skilled at video games but have a lot of expandable money ruling the game does kind of take the fun out of it. I’ve almost quit playing a few times but the gameplay keeps bringing me back and can be rather addicted.

Excited for ios release. Was excited to see the game downloaded onto my phone but did not get my hopes up since I knew the games actual release date was on the 11th which was stated in plain sight for everyone to see before you hit that pre-order button. With that being said I know sometimes games give early access a few days before release so I was hoping that was the case but it was not which is no biggie because I understand alot of work goes into making games so I can wait a few days longer to play this beautiful looking mobile version plus I'd rather have them take their time instead of rush it. I'd rather have few bugs than many and everyone should know that all games aren't perfect and will always have some kind of bug and this is why be patient and just wait for the greatness of this soon to come game also that's what updates/patches are for 😎😂👍🏼. Will be updating my review once it is released to spread the good word of black desert mobile.

hmm. Overall a fantastic game, character customization, graphics, PvP, entertaining storyline.. but its quickly becomes very unfulfilling. The game turns into a monotonous grind where nothing is challenging other than the PvP 3v3. And even that is dominated by people who spend lots of money weekly. Nothing is challenging in the game, world boss, ancient ruins, boss rushes ... everything is easily accomplished through auto combat. even the most recent addition POG hasn’t provided any challenge or fun. So before you know it, you’re in a non stop grind and start working on family cp, every once in awhile you fail at rng and rinse and repeat. They could add more pvp maps.. more pvp modes, like capture the flag or other...but instead they just add new gears every 2 weeks.. no new PLAYABLE content just more cp gains so you can farm a little bit more efficiently?? Honestly ramones 3v3 is quite fun, the classes and combat are very well developed and provide a really great PvP experience but it gets boring fast since it’s really the only thing keeping end game players playing. So why did i quit BDM? it got boring. also something further to add is that i was well geared ... 5 reds full PEN - cp close 9k.. and i still couldn’t compete with the 10-11k players.

Unbelievable. The game is backwards they take away as you get higher in game ascension is dumb period you lose all of the good spells and they leave you with trash one to level up all over again I really don’t understand why ppl login everyday when it’s really nothing to do unless you just starting how are ppl giving this game 5star it’s a lie believe me it’s not. None of what they do make sense in this game I’m lvl 70 and you get nothing and stuck with trash spells i don’t care if they don’t post this review im going to put it on Facebook also. The game is a scam for money that’s all and you don’t win nothing they put higher players in pvp again really love players so they feel strong lol they spend all that money and not strong most of them just leave fight smh. Best Mobile MMO available.. Let me start by saying that this game started as a 5 star game for me. It has continued to keep me busy in my free time. The issue I have with the game is the lack of purpose. Since starting to play I haven’t really had any moments where I felt like I could stop and enjoy the game, it’s just an endless grind. It’s a to-do list that I feel obligated to check-off every day. As soon as you stop pushing, you drop in rank and you can never catch up. Once you give up, there’s no reason to continue. My suggestion to the developer is add more parallel routes to progress. Allow people to explore other aspects of the game and be rewarded at the same rate. Some suggestions: -Remove stamina from gathering so people can make silver through crafting -Add more functionality and loot to fishing. -Reward players for putting in time and effort instead of always handing out loot randomly. -Provide group content so people can achieve things with friends instead of just solo playing near other people. -Diversify the roles of classes so everything isn’t a slightly different version of the same thing. -Give the community more information on upcoming content so we can have something to look forward to more than a day or week out. You don’t have to change your game completely, but give us a reason to play online and stay engaged that doesn’t just come from our own OCD.

The most amazing game. PLEASE LISTEN THIS IS A MUST HAVE GAME! any and every mobile gamers/players should come try and check this game out it is not a pay to win, you can play this game freely and enjoy it it’s so relaxing one complain is that there should be an online moderator watching the chat because half of the community are nice some part are not some players can be toxic and will cyber bully you if you’re a newbie looking to have some friends or asking for help or even stopping by to chat, also make the pass quest to another town/city easier and provide more exp boost, stamina potion and make the camp growth easier if not provide some help on gathering more items to not only make the camp healthy and stronger but easier for new players so their characters can benefit from it to become powerful as well Thank you so much for allowing and letting us play your game it is a great honor and very much appreciated if some or few of my suggestions is also taken as well not asking much other than that the game is pretty much perfect!

Camera movement. So I’ve been playing this off and on for awhile now , definitely still learning a lot. I’m a huge mmorpg gamer and the only reason why I’m not giving this one 5 stars is for one reason. Only reason is, is because of the camera movement. When my character is walking straight forward then i move it towards the right I notice that the camera doesn’t follow my character. I wish you guys would make it so you have an option where the camera always faces the back of my character. Using mobile I feel like it would give players less clicking and dragging around the screen if it just automatically followed the back of your character. When I turn right the camera should automatically follow your character’s back side basically shifting the screen, if I move left it should follow the screen and show what’s in front of you going left , if I turn my character around the screen it should show what’s behind me. Hopefully that all made sense ! I know there is a name for this type of camera setting but I sadly can’t think of what it is ! Aside from that you guys have an awesome game ! I would recommend this game to anyone. :)

Please Read!. I only downloaded this app to create a detailed avatar. Then, I would delete it. I’ve seen so many ads about this app and I wanted it so badly! It was a quick download when it downloaded onto my phone, but when I went into the app, it crashed. I tried again, and it worked. But then when it finished loading, it said it would take FIVE HOURS to upload. It said, “Play the mini-game!” I did play the mini game. It was NOT fun. The speck thing was insulting my ability to fly him. If he ran into a rock, he would say, “Watch it!” and, “Jeez!!” I found it boring. I watched the video playing above the loading bar, but it just showed all of the things I WANTED to do, made me feel anxious, and was just as boring. I ended up deleting the app. When I went into the App Store the next day, I typed, “detailed avatar,”. The only thing that showed up was this app. I got very sad, because I LOVE designing things. I hope they fix this. If you are still reading and know how to fix this problem, please write a comment.

Amazing experience, and NOT a cash grab!. I finally got the hang of this game! I needed to update my review. It was overwhelming until I did some research and practiced and now the game is not complicated anymore. I’m an old school RPG fan that wanted a great MMORPG experience on mobile and most games on mobile are data brokers offering quick cash grabs with no long lasting investment worth your time, data or money. Black Desert stands out with 5 stars for me because once you get into it enough and understand what does what, this game is a new take on the MMORPG for mobile that no one else could do right! Take it from me, I am skeptical and I have tried so many, but none come close to the quality this game has, not even a tip toe of it! Give this game a try and if you love it get the subscription and support these guys because they really love a great MMORPG experience just as we do, you can tell by the love and care that has gone into this game!

Love this game!. Been playing mobile mmorpg’s for a long time now and always on my iPad and/or phone (depending on if the boss is watching or not). Anyways, BDO is a really fun title for this type of game. As a lover of the pc version also, I can tell you while it is similar....it feels completely different. The graphics are top notch, the combat is fluid..whether your on auto combat or take matters into your own hands, which I do quite often when other players are around. The classes are different from each other enough that I want to play every one of them and even have started a slot for each class on more than one server. And don’t even get me started on all the free stuff you get to help you level up. There is a lot to like. Anyways, it’s really nice to write a nice review for a change. Others try to be BDM but fall flat on their face (looking at you v4). As critical as I can be, I’m happy to recommend this game to others. Love it! Thanks PA.

I Love It!. So I’d like to start off by saying I originally played bdo on ps4 in 2020 when I still had it & got real immersed into the game. I was skeptical about trying the mobile version since it’s on the phone & I thought it just wouldn’t be the same. Well I was quickly proven wrong this game looks absolutely beautiful & runs great on my iPhone XR. How they managed to do this I have no idea but the similarities are pretty identical to the console & pc vers of the game & I’m really enjoying it! I use my controller and the game does have partial controller support but you still have to tap to interact with npcs, lifeskilling, & things like that hopefully full controller support can get integrated because it would just make it easier for people like me. Not complaining just a thought other than that I’ve completely fell in love with bdo once again :)

Good game in spite of. First off this is one of the most polished mmo’s I’ve played on mobile, maybe even pc. My only complaint is the absurd rng and ridiculous percentages. The grind is supposed to be the price for rewards instead of spending cash, not grind and then play roulette. Although the developers do give away a ton of free gifts, if you are not on their home server you will be waiting weeks for the new content, tip; don’t watch korean streamer videos. In fact global still does not have a third of the coupon codes that korean players have been able to reap the benefits of. This is the first mmo I have played that does this. The only point I can see to this is to test the content out before global release so maybe I am wrong. And for goodness sake, add something to do in this game other than grinding, you should have to wait weeks or months to have some interactive content. The balls were a blast, but seem like once a year.

Best mmo. After moving to a remote rural area with horrible Internet playing this black desert online for mobile is helping me get over losing Black Desert for computer. It’s the next best thing to the full version on computer. BDO is the best MMO whether you’re playing it on mobile or computer. I’m amazed at how much like the full version game the mobile version is. Now I feel bad about scoffing when BDO players told me Pearl Abyss were coming out with a mobile game. All other mobile mmos and rpgs are seriously lame. I was addicted for six years to BDO on my custom gaming system that’s now sitting in a box. If I didn’t have this mobile version I would be seriously depressed about losing my gaming. It was a real nice surprise to find how much content and story there actually is on the mobile version. Also that it can play on my old iPad and doesn’t drop frames or anything even in this remote location running off of a hotspot… I am amazed! I haven’t tried the PVP yet but as soon as I gear up I certainly will. Until I get high-speed Internet back this is my game.

SETS THE TONE FOR ALL MMO’s!. I’ve come across other RPG’s in the past but none were never able to keep my attention like Black Desert Mobile. EVERYTHING about this game is insanely good, from the daily missions and perks, the class varieties and even the details that they put into the graphics. It’s nice to actually see a game where you can actually tell what you are looking at and the scenes and landscapes are amazing!!! This game has me hooked, line and sinker and the makers are constantly adding new content to keep you involved. I actually enjoy the fact that they listen to their players concerns and do something about it!! If you are looking for some mobile excitement in your life, this is definitely the game for you! No one and I mean nobody is topping black desert mobile right now!! I will be playing this game FOREVER! Thank you for creating this, I couldn’t have asked for anything better!!!

Loving it. Started playing and so far I love it . Everything is perfect. Wonder if theirs gonna be more missions later on . If only we could talk on mic . Thank you for this amazing game . Really amazing . Idk why nobody talks about this game . The graphics on point. Love how theirs a lot of missions I won’t get bored and I can play which ever I want. Let’s get that straight. I love the fact that it doesn’t overheat my iPhone . Some apps like Fb over heat my new iPhone . I don’t know why but that’s big no . The details on everything is amazing I really appreciate the fact yall take the time. After a week of playing I have reach to a level I need to hustle in order to get to the items to upgrade. It’s a good game but I ain’t gonna hustle for a month to just a lil upgrade now I can’t finish the stories or missions cause I must do the upgrade. It’s been a fun game tho I love everything about it . Only this was my issue I don’t like when the game stops me from playing. I like to play a game without wasting money on it. There’s another game I downloaded which was the same almost but had less main mission but everytime they gave us new gear to keep playing the mission. The best mmorpg for mobile. I’d give this 5 stars if 1; no unwarranted killing of mostly harmless animals... players should petition against this as for what it suggests. 2; the maps were seamless... no loading screen. 3; monsters and other targets where more spread out and tracking was a little more like hunting... or a more refined ecosystem mechanic. Other than that. WOW! I almost never review a game but have to say... the character creation!... fun and really flexible. One of the best ever! The art is second to none for mobile gaming experience... kudos! The combat (though I really wish it could be a lot more like shadow fight) is actually pretty tactical and more physicalized than pretty much any mmo I’ve played since elder scrolls. This game has an insane amount of depth. But I do wish the narrative for every character could be nonlinear... every story different being that you can play multiple characters... or if you could use a different character for the same objectives and not run a parallel adventure for every toon... then you’d have a masterpiece of a game. I think the gameplay, imagination of the creatures and the variety of gear creation/enhancements/and ai assists (dark spirit development/pets etc...) is better than that of full console featured fantasy type games... better than Warcraft!

Super casual gamer is impressed. I was shocked because I mostly play games I can use cheats on…so I was very hesitant to play BDOM because I hate dying and struggling in a game that I deliberately sat in front of to relax, unwind and have fun after a hard day of work and crappy reality outside. So imagine my surprise at starting this game on a seasonal character and literally playing around in what looks like a movie world! I mean the auto play is awesome! I of course will create another character and probably crawl painstakingly through the game hoping not to die or be forced to play in a group with other ppl. But so far not in this game(yet). Imagine my character is strong enough to go against bosses already (Red Nose)… The auto play is so awesome! I have BDO on steam but never wanted to commit to the stress… same with FF14 and Wow…never wanted to invest the time because of the forced social aspects.. So when I seen about Crimson Desert, and Tarisland…I just figured id wait for those games to come out…but honestly as a super casual player who has already spent some hard earned money…I have no regrets playing this game…you can actually play without spending money…but eh…I work hard and will spend my coins on whatever gives me joy…

Every video game turned mobile is.... Except this one. I love the original game, have been playing it for 3-4 months with over 400+ hours and still looking forward to wasting more of my life and money on it, and this game is a nice little break to pass the time when auto running from spot to spot or auto fishing, the detail is amazing and the fact that almost every skill from the game is available makes it even better, and dude I wish we had such a simple enhancement system, I would have my boss weapon to TET already, but let me stay on topic, the only thing I have an issue with is that it’s SUPER linear compared to the original where I can get my character to level 56 in 5 hours off the bat without questing, but I understand mobile limitations so it’s not really an issue that can be solved, just some unreal expectations from a fan lol

Players beware! This will steal your life!. Simply put: AMAZING!!! I’ve been playing for over a month of dedicated playing time and even 80+ hours in, there’s more and more to unlock and discover! I keep expecting to hit a pay wall but the devs have been enormously generous in letting the player explore and upgrade via hard work and play time; Without even ONE ad to watch! To those of you who play, Id encourage you to purchase something for no other reason than to support the work of the team that took so much time to create such a gem for the rest of us. In a time where micro-transactions and games driven by erroneous amounts of ads is paramount with the exchange being at the expense of the player, this is a work of art that should be supported to inspire other teams to follow in the footsteps of greatness. Thank you for all the hard work!

Needs better event timing. This game is all around great, but there are still improvements to be made. Communication and guild invitations are complicated limiting someone from inviting another player to a guild unless they are in the same area as the other, which as a guild master is extremely frustrating. I understand why there is a timer for leaving guilds to prevent hopping, but that too is a bit extreme with 24 hours. These issues really aren’t a big deal, but I want to point out the worst of all, the world boss. As you know you can only join the battle the first 2 hours of appearance, but so far every day the world boss has appeared very late at night which is advantageous for west coast, but I am east coast and it doesn’t work. There is a better time for them to spawn, and the world boss itself isn’t as hyped up and big of a deal as it should be. Overall great game, really love the experience so far and how true it stuck to the PC edition while introducing changes to fit mobile.

Amazing, but...... This is by far the best MMORPG I’ve ever played, and on top of that it’s compatible for mobile and I personally haven’t experienced any frame rate drops or anything like that. If I had one complaint, it would be the arena. If my opponent’s CP is AT ALL higher than mine, I don’t do any damage to them and they do a whole lot of damage to me. One way to fix this is to even out the damage so both sides deal and take the same amount of damage, or you could make a better pairing system. One thing I am astonished by in this game is that it gets it right where so many other games have failed, but there are so many games these days that just have a trash pairing system and I absolutely hate to classify this as “just another game,” but right now when I get on arena I just wait until I have more CP than the opponent to even try. Please fix it.

Nice Variant of the PC Version. I was really curious to see what this would be like after playing the PC version for over 2 years. It has some great ideas with nice implementation. Several mechanics operate differently, for ease of use on a different platform, but at the core still has enough BDO to make this feel like a second home. It dose suffer from quite a cluttered UI and the many frequent rewards will have you in and out of menus more than I enjoy on an iOS game. Much like the PC version, you are often referred to the Cash Shop with even basic items being available for purchase which seems a bit unnecessary. Some of the Pearl items seem significantly overpriced when comparing cash to pearl ratio purchasing power on the PC version but conversely you’re not having to spend as much on inventory and weight because you get plenty of both in this version to start with. So in short, yes it is very fun, beautiful and familiar enough that it will appeal to some existing BDO players, along with those new to the universe

Favourite game that’s always under maintenance. I love this game, I love that I can auto play or manual play, I love the graphics & gameplay. I love that I have the choice of playing alone or with people. What I don’t love is that it’s ALWAYS under maintenance. I’ve never seen an app that spends so much time offline for maintenance! It’s so frustrating. If it wasn’t for that I’d have given it 5 stars

Idk. So I played for abit and had to stop because I dont think I could get into this game. It seems like it would be decent but im just not a fan of games that have so many things on the ui, its so confusing especially for a new player. I also dislike games that have auto play, yeah you can run around yourself but having that constant arrow telling you to tap the quest so it can play automaticly is annoying.

Couldn’t connect. Spent 30 minutes making a character but couldn’t get into the server. Just kept saying “network is unstable,” when I was connected to wifi and then tried reconnecting to wifi and it still said it. It’s also sad that there’s no Australian server, only Asia. But I mean it looks really promising.

Tho I think u can make a few changes like doing a tutorial how to get pearls cause I don’t even know so that’s why I would have to search everything up! Good game,greedy devs. This game had the potential to be one of the best mobile games to date, yet the devs have made it clear that the global version of Black Desert Mobile is just a cash cow so they can support the Korean version. There are numerous examples of things that you can buy with in game currency in the Korean version being locked behind a paywall in the global version. I was having a lot of fun with this game and got to a decently high level at 5300 cp but new update killed it for me, it is clear that this game is catered only to those who can spend literally thousands of dollars as even if you choose to spend money RNG can make sure you receive nothing to show for it. Great graphics/gameplay Insanely greedy devs milking the global player base dry to support the Korean version.

Same issue as most people.. I have downloaded the game, however when I get to the screen that looks like and image of tree roots, it then crashes to desk top. My iPad also says it is supported. iPad Air2 Really looking forward to a speedy fix as I too am looking forward to playing Black Desert. 🤞🏻

New update removed my stuff. On the 8th of July 2020, I updated my game and when I logged in, I had lost my in game appearances. I had also lost the dyes I had in my inventory and on my character. It’s not a major issue but it would be nice if it was fixed as it took a while to get black dyes.

RGN fail. I waited a long time for this game to be available on mobile. The first couple of months it lived up to everything I expected but then something happened, Pearl Abyss started to favour whales. It’s now turned into a competition for ‘who can spend the most money’ f2p and Dolphins are left outside. All my friends have left and guilds are merging because not enough players. The RNG in this game has got progressively worse, it’s just fail, fail, fail. This game for Whales only, don’t bother to download unless you want to burn your cc for a virtual money throwing competition with no returns except for the virtual need to be on a leaderboard that no one else cares about irl

Better than lineage and aion mobile. After the fix with compatibility of devices this is the best game that’s been able to capture my lazy/short attention span! At first you might feel overloaded with all the events and stuff to do but this is my 4th day and im finally getting the hang of everything now. I will even buy pearls when i get to that competitive stage but right now just playing for fun and theres loads of it waiting for you in this game!

Great if you have the time. Looks great, plays smoothly - much better than expected for a freshly launched game. It’s promising to be a fabulous mmo if you prefer a mobile platform like me. The biggest issue (for me) is the time investment required. This is not for casual players. If you have the time to really sink your teeth into this, I highly recommend it. I will be reluctantly deleting it.

Best full experience mobile MMO, transaction setup may kill its playerbase over time. Great game, mechanics, graphics, immersion (perfect balance of autoplay & requiring you to interact/play. Only major issue; terribly done store & pricing to keep it profitable / the player base playing... they’re going for whales and large transactions instead of caring about any smaller ones. This is the reason the tens of other similar games have failed after 6-12 months. BD has a solid base to pull from for lore, game mechanics, design, quests etc - its also the first seemingly successful transition from PC-Mobile game I’ve seen. My new favourite game, please don’t mess it up and continue making it amazing. <3

The Best RPG / MMO. This is a serious mobile game. Well developed, constantly updated with new content and great graphics/mood. The character builds are awesome and the story mode is a great adventure. It truly shows the amount of work that has gone into this game. If you like RPG games then don’t look any further.

Devise supported. Crashes during load screen.. It says my iPhone 6+ is supported and it downloads and updates fine but crashes on the first splash screen. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and have even reset the device, but still won’t load. If this problem is fixed, I’ll be happy to give a 5 star review as I have played it on my daughters Oppo and we both enjoy this game a lot.

Auto. Black desert is a great looking game with great graphics and I really like the way they did character customisation, though I think the pc version was better I understand it’s hard to make it as good on mobile. The only reason I can’t give the game a higher rating is because of how much auto is in the game. All the questing is automated and the only real thing you’ll get that’s not automatic when you begin is the combat and lots of the quests are just collecting things. This is an issue with a lot of mmorpgs on mobile so I was hoping black desert wouldn’t be the same.

To developer. Pro: Everything is great let say almost perfect, the quests, atmosphere, music, system. Once you get use to the game mechanics, it is truely hard to put it down. I can say the game is well made and the game itself is truely catch the first step toward next generation mobile game. Con: Imo, The game is too much in details of system, hard to catch up. Even the cash shop is just, too much for the new comer. The price is average but the choices of purchase is poor. If the game has like a monthly white pearl pack like 10 20 or 30 a day for 30 day, you would definitely have more income for your company, I for one that will buy it, and this might help reduce the gab between f2p and p2p.

Confused. Now I haven’t actually played the game yet but hear me out. I downloaded the game over 12 hours ago and when I launched it for the first time there was maintenance happening which is no biggie at all it said to wait 5 hours on your website which is a crazy amount of downtime (for maintenance) I thought from the beginning. Now 12 hours later and the game is still down and you’re trying to blame the App Store, now I’m no phone gamer by any means but I do know getting certification for updates through iOS is a stupid process that takes a silly amount of time BUT if I knew that you should have too and you should have been prepared for this. This will happen almost every time when updating your game on the App Store so I’ll give you a chance here even though this is something you should have known about and had workarounds for it (like having alt servers with the old version of the game playable until the update is available for all platforms) I just hope this hurt your business model enough for you to figure out a better way to handle this. Either way you now know what iOS/ App Store is like so you have no excuses going into the future should this happen again. I’ll still give 3 stars as I haven’t played the game yet but it’s a pretty woeful start to my experience.

Better than any MMO so far but expect improvement. Its really good but I’m not sure what sort of plans they have for end game ? Please add some dungeon and stuff like that to keep players busy Right now the game feels very single player with other people swinging around you doing same thing - Its all about grinding and gaining CP and once u gain much power then there is nothing much to do except grinding for gems to upgrade weapons which brings the game down a level of experience similar to those found in Diablo not an actual MMO rpg - but the world is fun and its fun to play the game ! Also please do something with the draw distance on stronger devices such as iPad Pro or whatever - the draw distance is awful !even with camera from top in the corners still we see things being loaded let alone putting the camera down Graphics are fine ! Idk why some websites say its the worst looking game - it’s complete bs ! Game looks really good But i fin you guys have to focus on providing a better experience with other people and together rather than being solo

Why??. Why does the Witch melee with her staff? That’s outrageous and not well thought out. She is a ranged class. End of rant. Besides that everything is soundly translated from Pc with optimisations made for mobiles ease of use. HUD is quite cluttered and the lock-on system could use a lil tweet. The p2w is real here, you can buy your way to heights unreachable by the f2p. And honestly that’s ok. They feed the market and supply f2p the store items we refuse to purchase. You just have to be lightning quick as all things vanish as soon as they hit the market due to high demand low supply and no pre ordering system for “store items”. Look forward to seeing future content, great work.

Enjoyable but ultimately pay 2 win. For the first month or so, it’s an enjoyable game with lots to do and plenty of free things to receive. However, after a while it becomes increasingly obvious that you need to spend either many many months farming to get even a tiny bit of progression, or you need to drop real money on levelling up materials.. the random chances to increase your gear get as low as 1% very quickly and even with 30%, the random number gen fails to level up over and over again. It becomes increasingly frustrating as you watch your hard earned levelling up materials go down the drain and often you are left with gear that is down graded to a lower level as a result of failures.. this leads to more weeks and months of boring, and often offline, grinding to get more materials, only to lose them again in your next attempt to level up with no guarantee that you will even regain your original levelled gear. It’s a sinister way to do it on the developers part. They’ve been asked again and again to fix this part of the game, but they make excuses and more excuses.. basically they are making too much money to fix it. Get the game.. enjoy the first few months, but when you hit that grind.. uninstall and move on..

No support. I did enjoy playing the game, however ran into an in game issue and could not find any way of getting in contact with the team for support and help resolve this issue...

Unplayable without real money after a while. It will let you play until you’re hooked, then every weapon upgrade is a random chance of going up or down in power. Needless to say they always go down ... unless you buy with real money something to improve the odds of going up. I just did 143 attempts and went down from 3 to zero and never got higher than 4. You’ll never reach level 10, so unless you have a lot of real money don’t get started on this pay-to-win game.

This content are currently unavailable. I don’t know why, but after the maintenance of the ios device, i can neither do arena nor claim the reward from my task. I am feeling a little bit wrong because i want to claim the 10 ancient coin and the 12 ancient table and the completing task to gain 10 black pearl. But overall, this game is really fun and i had a lot of good time in playing this game.

This game has all everything. I have been looking for a decent mmorpg from last year, I have been trying so many different similar games but I couldn’t feel fully satisfied for one reason or another with none of them, since I started playing Black Desert Mobile I noticed that this game is deeply cured on details and full of many different functions, the social aspect may be improved a little but the game in general is constantly updated and full of players. I am not used to put 5 stats on reviews but this game deserves them all. Congratulations to developers for this amazing creation.

annoying bug. I created different characters a few times now, but I keep on getting stuck on the Black Dragon Statue quest... every time I click the complete quest, it crashes the game... can someone please fix this issue?

Crashing. My game keeps crashing when ever I click the dragon statue icon on the right. It says done , I click on it then my game just crashes and every time I get back onto it it just keeps crashing it’s only on the dragon statue. Love the game though ❤️👌

The milking begins. Well to be honest I really had high hopes for this game, free to players were able to improve and get stronger without paying but with the new update it’s all gone downhill. It’s very unfair when playing against pay to win players in arena or any other match since the differences between us are really massive and you can’t do anything unless you pay. Now that I think about it this game is just like any other MMORPG game now and it’s very depressing because all the time and effort I have put in has gone to waste.

Best of its kind - f2p Friendly and nice graphic. Very good design game. Free to play friendly and the arena ranking system is good . You don’t need to worry about whales as in arena you will face player at your power which makes us challenge and fair You can buy all gears from market all you need to do is just farm silver :) and if you lucky you can pull yellow or orange gears from gacha shop too (by the way don’t worry about the drop rate as you can buy from market if you are bad luck at pulls) Graphic is 10/10

Fantastic game, but Crashes and Glitches. I love this mmo - it’s highly organised and free flowing, the graphics and sheer detail of the world is equally astoundingly meticulous as it is easy to learn about, unlike other mmo’s out there. This game is definitely on my recommended, and I’m very happy about the customisation system - one of the best I’ve ever seen in a game. But there are a few serious problems that need to fixed ASAP that prevent me from playing the game. First off: the game constantly glitches, freezes, then crashes and quits. At first it would do this every 20 minutes, then 15, then 7, and now it does this every time I open it, making it unable to be played on my phone. Secondly: can not play it on iPad as it glitches and crashes effective immediately after opening the app. Thirdly: just a pointer; would love to see a more social aspect to the game such as player marriages and small non-op benefits with it. It’s been highly requested, sought after and discussed on forums about black desert and everyone can agree about the distinct lack of social play this game has, which is a shame; it almost has everything. Thanks for reading, I hope these problems are fixed as soon as possible so I can jump back into the game ASAP. There are vast many other people who face the same problem as I do.

Great Game, Bad Graphics. I really liked the game but it starts off highly annoying. It bombards you with quest and I got really bored of reading the descriptions of what each equipment or interact meant does so I just skipped over it. However, what really bothered me was the fact that the graphics whilst walking, jogging and running where very blurry, and it got worse the faster you where going. In the end I deleted this game and went on to Lineage 2

Deliberately addictive. One of the best mobile games in its class. Definitely worth a look 100%, but dont be fooled, it's designed and engineered to keep you playing, and if you choose, paying.

Best MMORPG to date. I’ve played a fair few mmorpgs both on PC and mobile over the years. I’ve been waiting for mobile to catch up to the immersion and complexity of PC games... BDM hits the mark perfectly.

It keeps telling me to download. It looks like an exciting game to get into back it keeps saying to download the new update but there isn’t any updates, I’m just confused right now

Can’t open the game. When I first opened the game it took almost 1 hour to download the files and it crashed when I was in the game, but the second time I opened it it worked for about mabey 5 mins and it crashed tried opening it, crashes as soon as I open the game, tried about 4-5 times but still crashes, and I have an iPhone 7 so it an ok phone, so can you fix the crashes please

Finally something worth to play. It’s not pay to win game. You can pay for your convenient but this game can be much enjoyable without paying single cent. Stunning graphic, okay sound tracks and good eco-system with auction like in-game market place.

Undownloadable update. It showing me a banner that my current version needs an update but when i press it. It brings me to app store page without any downloadable content. Global release is over. We’ve been waiting for a while please fix this

Very excited. I am very excited to play this game. I have done the massive download part, but once it gets to ‘the tree’ the game crashes for me. I have tried restarting my iPad and reinstalling the app. Hope this can be fixed as I am looking forward to the game.

P2W Money Sink. Has the potential to be a great game but far too P2W. Not only that, there are numerous instances of people buying accounts, and other flagrant abuses, which are ignored because they are done by the top players. End game content is restricted to top players only as well, further dividing the game. Top players will wipe an entire guild without breaking a sweat. Then there’s also the ridiculous rng rates. Even if you decide to spend money, rng rates are so imbalanced that you need to spend a lot to get be able to be viable for end game content. Do not recommend this game.

Doesn’t work on iOS. The game downloads and applies the patches, but then crashes on the landing page with the tree roots. The same thing happens across all three of my Apple devices. I thought there was beta testing before the global launch?

Great developers!!. They aren’t as money hungry as the rest of thee types of games! The tutorial was lame but educational! Now that I’m past the tutorial it’s one of the only games I’ll keep on my phone

So much to do. The game is never repetitive because while your character might be a giant called hagrid with 2 war axes you still end up planting flowers, farming and fishing. The game does not force you to fight after the tutorial so technically you could just farm and fish forever

It’s great. Ok so I haven’t been able to finish the game yet (because my device has issues running it) but I really enjoyed it the combat is one of the best I’ve seen and the graphics are insanely cool. I do have some minor issues with some of the monetisation methods but it’s mostly fine.

Good game, but.... This game is great for anyone who is into MMORPGs as it is well made and the graphics and music are stunning. The game is semi-automatic as it runs the story by itself at the press of a button. However, there is a catch. The game takes a huge toll on your phone. My phone (an iphone 6s) fried its motherboard from running the game. Be careful and make sure your phone doesnt overheat and you’ll have a great time.

Unable to download. Tried three times to download the game and failed each time after getting a significant way into the process. Disappointing as it looked like a good game. I also wasn’t certain where Australia fitted into the three choices given at beginning as it wasn’t shown on any map. Perhaps more information on repercussions of choice could be given. Anyway, off to research another game.

Honestly? Yes 👍. This is probably the BEST MMORPG I’ve ever played. Like, period. It’s just so rich in lore and the gameplay is vibrant and dynamic. I think my favourite part is the Black Spirit itself because their characterisation is amazing (I mean that sarcasm is GOLD!) The game just never stops giving and the content just continues to blow me away! Thank you so much devs because your work is incredible!!

PvP is absolute garbage. 1 on 1 arena duels are dead in this game. A difference of less than 7 gear score can tilt the match into an unwinnable contest for the lower gear player. Reducing skill based matchups to a number check. If that score is greater than 20 you might as well quit the match. Because your opponent just becomes a nigh undamageable raid boss. Avoid pvp. Stay if you like PVE.

Would have been better if it was more open world :(. I wish it was open world like the pc game. I wish i could swim and such. Dont get me wrong, its a fantastic game, but it can get boring at times. Wish there was more to explore.

So fast. Is there a way to slow down the dialogue during the auto battle because it's too fast I can't read everything

Too repetitive. All I need to say is that this is just one of those auto games where you click a quest and it does it for you. There is absolutely nothing interesting in slaying 50 monsters just to do it again in the next quest. In PVP there are just strategies that have absolutely zero counter-play to them. Ex: Use stun, deal some damage, then run away until the stun CD is back up. Only good thing about this game is the story and graphics (still takes a good toll on your phone battery)

Graphic totally sucks. Game is 8GB of size and but the graphic is like 1GB Game… look so fun but it will affect my eyesight so i deleted it.

It’s an eye candy game that requires your wallet. I want to say BDM has incredible graphics and great ideas, but your enjoyment dwindles when two weeks of 24/7 grinding for drops that allow you to progress in the game never happens. It’s a deep time sink and endless repetition for minute gains. PvP is horrible, with endless scaling up in cp, in pvp you will be one spotted in open world if you aren’t paying for that upper tier, pvp that is dominated by whales, who claim the boss to progress even further. I regrettably sunk a few hundred dollars with hope this would be “the game” that would keep me entertained for years, which to say I will be lucky if I play it a month.

Love it. A little on the expensive side pearl and money wise for the good stuff, but I’ve spent less than $50 in real money on my account in the whole time I’ve had the game (since it came to mobile) and I’ve still had a ton of fun.

How to you delete the patch that take Space on your device. Even when you delete the game it says that the game only take 100 mo on your device but i Downloaded a 7gb patch and now it take Space on my device for Nothing can you tell me how i can delete it.

Spyware. You have to ask yourself, is this game just an excuse to parasite your information and spy on you? And, how much game are you actually getting. This game seems more like malware and spyware. There are so many games out there that masquerade as games but are just made to spy and steal from you.

THE WORST MOBILE MMO EVER. this game is horrendous don’t bother, they give you a “new player code” but I spent over 30 minutes and messaged 5 people in game and no one knew how to redeeem a code. Download it worth it. As a player coming from bdo I love the mechanics in bdm more it’s worth playing whether casual or for pvp I love the aspect of it but some of the quests need a redo and some mechanics also need to be added developers need to listen to players on quest issues and mechanics on quest to make items.

Female online. This game only focus on female characters. Classes are gender locked and they keep releasing female characters so players are forced to play female characters. It’s so lame! They have 14 female class and 6 male class only! Literally waited 2 years now and still no male wizard. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great in its own way.. I saw a lot of people are leaving a lot of negative comments so I wanted to give my two cents. This might not be the perfect game but I believe each game is for people with special requirements. Saying that, if you want a chill and relaxing game then this might not be it. However, if you plan on having fun with friends and grinding some virtual gear just to feel a little bit of satisfaction in seeing your cool character then go right ahead. I love the fact that the game doesn’t force you to be a fighter or the generic warrior. You can do whatever. I’m a weapons merchant at the moment making my wealth through farming weapon boxes and selling them on the central market. Do understand what the game is targeted towards and whether you fit the criteria. Note to developers: I would really appreciate if you guys could clear out the weapon enhancement thing for Naru gear. For beginners, it sometimes gets confusing and overwhelming so a simple explanation would be nice.

Warriors. Why would you take away most of the important skills of Warrior? As a warrior it’s frustrating that we don’t get to keep our skills that gives armour and prevent us getting knock down by other characters. It was great before the update now I feel like quitting the game thank you developers! Most of the characters get to keep their important skills just so you guys know. After ascension everything sucks you guys need to talk to your developer they’re killing the players.

Fun at first, but gets boring later on…. Don’t get me wrong, the gameplay is great, but the game story is SO garbage! The game is really fun early and mid-gameplay, but late game gets so tedious… Late-gameplay becomes farming simulator, and that’s a mood-killer… I didn’t even bother doing PvP because I just know that there are whales in the game, no doubt about that… Mid to late-game also slowly becomes pay2win, but thank God I never spent over $10 on this greedy wallet trap… Classes are gender-locked, and why the heck is there no frigging option to save customization settings on all classes? Having said that, there’s more female classes than male classes (which automatically lets me know what kind of filthy-minded people at Pearl Abyss are…), and I guess this sucks for the guys out there who see this… Oh, and, all the costume/armour cosmetics in this game are SO UGLY! Also, why the heck is there a limited-time item to be able to dye clothes/weapons? Sheesh, greedy much… That “black spirit” thing is so frigging ugly and annoying! You know how bad it is?! I mean, I don’t want a companion like that in my life! That is so bloody awful, you know! I also hate how there’s no option to turn off auto battle from automatically turning on after entering a World Boss or during/after completing a story/side level… I was having fun when I first played it several months ago, but as of late, I’ve just been AFK farming, doing world bosses, etc… I managed to make it to over 28,000 CP without spending money to get stronger, but now I am burnt out… I refuse to spend money just so I can become “stronger” and so I can advance in the main quests… I made it halfway through East Valencia, and the main quests get so difficult…

Worst game ever. Please don’t spend one dime in this game! It’s super ultra p2w and 100 dollars spent one day will be useless after 1 month from that day! USELESS so please, don’t spend money if u don’t want to feel emotions that I have never felt before...in a negative way. Stay away or never spend money!

Highly p2w game. Many of my friends quit because of this recent patch. How is free-to-play going to keep up with the gear awakening system? Not only that each attempt cost almost 250 MILLION in resources, BUT ALSO there is a chance you FAIL and LOSE POWER. You need to spend a lot of cash just to keep up with the others! Unless Pearl Abyss improves for free play, stay away from this game.

Autoplay mmorpg. This game is honestly just okay. The graphics, story, and some of the powers are pretty cool. But there is SO MUCH AUTOPLAY. You could play pretty much the entire game with autoplay, which makes it nowhere near as fun as it could be. Especially since the quests are along the lines of “kill 20 monsters”. My biggest issue is that the size of this app is NOT as stated in the description (I think it says 100 MB). As of August 21, 2022, the patch size, or extra material to download, is 7.75 GB. There are some pretty fun parts, like taking care of your camp and riding a horse. But I only played this game for a few days before getting bored and deleting it.

One of the best mobile games out there. Is it easy? Hell yea It’s the grind-haters dream. Create a badass character, explore a massive open world with insane visuals(nearly ps4 levels), an absolute ocean of content to devour that’s constantly growing, and really really fair monetization. I was shocked a game like this was possible on a phone now, and when you play with a controller it’s like an action game. I could praise the game for awhile though so I’ll wrap up. Great game, loads to do, scratches the rpg itch in a way I didn’t think possible on mobile, and if your like me and been searching for that, I think you found it

Auto run to some person, find out you have to kill a bunch of something, auto run to the location, click attack buttons with little to no thought needed. Tap a flashing button, over and over and new gear is equipped, skills added, new quest started, auto run, attack, auto run, auto equip new gear, auto level...tap tap tap blah! Still better than most mmos on mobile.

Disappointed in the staff but decent game. I really didn’t want to give this a bad rating but since the game design is pretty well made but the staff are something else. I asked them to submit a ticket to give a warning to a player due to excessively abusive language and not only did the staff ignore that, they ignored everything I sent regarding other bugs after that and would only accept other reports from other people. It was clear in the rules that abusive language and other stuff would be penalized but apparently they don’t care enough unless you’re paying a lot of money. The game environment is rather toxic if you’re not in the right community and I’ve met some really nice people but there is definitely more toxic people than nice people. Aside from the staff, the game would be a solid 3/5 due to it’s well designed afk aspect. If it weren’t for the staff and toxic communities that exist, I would’ve definitely recommended to a friend.

I can’t get the app to work.. I’ve heard really good things about this game, and as a big fan of RPGs, would love to play it. However, I haven’t been able to actually get the app to work. The first time I downloaded it, it made it about halfway through the loading screen (the one with the mini-game to play while you wait), before it stopped and told me to check my connection, and restarted. I did check my connection to the internet, and my Wi-Fi, and both were still fully functional. The second time I tried to download it, I got a little further, but the same thing happened. I downloaded it a third time, and it said that my device didn’t have enough disk space (I use an iPad). Upon hearing that, I deleted a bunch of stuff, and I have about 2 GB of storage. I have all the required updates on my device, so why isn’t the app working?

Nothing Can Compare. I played the PC version of BDO for a very long time and despite some of my nitpicks and gripes about the game, this version is a masterpiece by mobile standards. BDO is a very graphic intensive game and when i saw that it was coming to mobile i thought there was no possible way they could capture the feel of the world and the combat system they had in place. It was all just too complex for something that can fit in the palm of your hand. I was proven very wrong the combat, while not as engaging as the PC version still manages to maintain a similar feel and depth in combos and strategy. The graphics are very impressive and the features that are included from the PC version are numerous. Overall this is probably one of the best MMO’s that will ever be available.

Customer Service and Server Issues. I played Black Desert Mobile when it first came out for about a month and quit because of their customer service response time was 2 weeks and also didn’t like the fact that people hardly socialized in the guilds. I decided to come back about a month ago to give it another go. I am enjoying the game and their customer service time did improve; instead of waiting 2 weeks for a response it now only takes a few hours. But their lack of understanding for their server issues is mind boggling. I had no issues with their server up until the last 2 maintenances/updates/patches and now get server instability even with full bars and at 4G. I hate I have to contact apple support for something Black Desert Mobile customer service is supposed to fix and they refuse.

Amazing but I love what I am. Honestly Black Desert Mobile looks amazing but personally when I play specifically MMORPGs that are multiplayer I don’t like being the opposite gender because I love being a male, that’s literally all that it is i’m perfectly 100% fine being a female in single player games but when it comes to playing and associating with other people I don’t want to be a female because I just want to look and be like me and not another gender I want to love who I am but this makes it hard because I love being a male sorcerer I’m sorry if I sound ridiculous and I know I’m never going to change anything by just making a comment but i just want to put it out there. thank you for making it this far if you did.

Good love but white pearls. So this game is extraordinary amazing but the thing is it’s a little hard to get stamina so I recommend putting the prices down on stamina potions and white pearls all the special outfits white pearls a lot of things you can buy white pearls and guess how you get white pearls? Paying real money, now I still recommend this game but you just can be pushed back a lot if you don’t pay so maybe make another way to get white pearls then 5stars and also lower prices of stamina potions a little and also please make it easier to get silver also because silver is the least valuable kind of payment and it’s a little harder to get than normal least valuable payments in other games anyways this game is phenomenal and I love it please fix these problems developers pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase thanks so much! PLEASE FIX!!!

Very good. I have enjoyed this game very much. It's very involving. You can go auto or remove auto. There are so many ways to grow your character, through combat, camp, fishing, grinding, gear, crystals, etc. Countless avenues to raise your family CP. I’ve enjoyed this game for about a year now and I’m still addicted. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the monsters can continue wailing on you while the dialogue box is up and you are unable to fight back. What’s the point of having dialogue if you have to skip out reading it so your character won’t lose tons of hp or die. Either freeze the attacks during dialogue or allow the character to continue fighting during dialogue. Either solution would make this a five star game and the best on the app market!

It’s got great content but controls are not good at all. This game is super cool and has a vast amount of different and cool content but the controls are just brutal. The buttons are small and the size of the buttons can’t even be adjusted which is kinda ridiculous and the lock system is total trash and you constantly unlock from your enemy cause your trying to press the little ability buttons but instead unlock and your whole screen flips around. If you press auto fight all your problems are solved accept for the fact that aren’t doing anything at all but watching your character just destroy everything please make it so it’s somewhat possible for my self to do that. Everything is so cool but the controls are just not good at all please fix this then it would be an easy 5 star.

Great Game but….. I go back and forth with this game. Download it, love it, play for a while and then ultimately end up deleting it. After a few months I forget why I deleted it, redownload and begin the cycle all over again. I feel stuck, I can’t move forward because the game crashes CONSTANTLY. Every time I head to the desert…crashes. Every time I try to fight the world boss…crashes. I just can’t anymore. It’s really too bad. I have read every article I could find, adjusted the game to the lowest settings possible (much lower than my device has the capacity to handle) and still. I can’t go 5 minutes of play time without the game crashing on me. It’s a shame. I’ll probably end up deleting again soon. Probably for good this time.

Amazing and kind of overwhelming.. It is an amazing game with a lot of potential, but honestly it’s too much. There is so much going on at once that I have no idea what is happening half the time. Side quests pop up so frequently and there are so many different items that do so many different things being collected all while your character is auto battling, unless you tell them not to, the battle is interrupted so frequently with all these different things that are going on and being collected, it becomes frustrating. Every combatant you kill comes back to life within 1 second of you killing them, which is also frustrating. The graphics and amount of thought put into the game really is outstanding, but there is so much going on at once, I feel like a 3 year old with severe autism at a carnival.

Screen too busy. I agree with many reviewers who point out how this game has managed to incorporate a lot of elements of the large-screen MMOs we are all used to, and create some new ones. Also agree there are class balance issues and such to improve (greatly) upon. Where I got stuck, and why I am quitting, is that the screen is simply far too busy to offer much immersion or to really allow player skill to have a role in combat. Quite admittedly I say this as a gamer who’s older than most of you - I got started with an Atari instead of a PlayStation. And I’m on a 9 inch iPad instead of an 11+ inch screen. But yikes, the main action screens in this game are simply packed with small details, lists and messages. It’s great that some company decided to make a console/PC-quality game for the smaller screen but.... it really *is* a smaller screen. This thing hurts my eyes, simply said.

Last update. I was able to come up with a work around on crashing of iOS in game due to announcements willl provide help desk with what I found till they have time to do a few changes Must turn off all announcements is a pain lots to remember for game that will also not give you all players upgrades spawns of wb notifiers or things to do will be able to get in game though and not be kicked out of game It would be nice if the two pop ups when loving in could be put on the chat select login scree most wont read them as the log in anyways and will give them a chance to review update and patch nots along with forum stuff outside of game this would be a great help set my rating t 4 star will go five once a few changes are made to help iOS users

Mostly a great game.. This game has the best graphics I have seen on mobile, but there are a few things I would like to point out. The joystick that you use to run has a problem. Every now and then, when you put your finger on the joystick used to move, the camera all of a sudden zooms in on your characters face. And there is one more thing: Maybe add an option to stay zoomed in on your character while you are walking. I understand that while you are in combat mode the player will want the camera zoomed out to see all of the oncoming enemies, but if you could stay zoomed in, it just makes things kinda cooler. Otherwise, this is a great game, and extremely close to the PC version!

Not happy. I have been playing a while, 2 characters and been having the same issues. I use black spirit sleep mode often. Sometimes I leave it alone for 6 hours and sometimes longer while I am sleeping. The problem is every time I go to log into the game tells me I need to refresh. I literally have to reboot my phone each time to get it to refresh. So I got mad and finally sent a ticket! OK so THANK YOU for not even responding!! It’s been well over a week. I swear if now I get a response with it’s on my end ie clear catche, delete and reload the game, blah blah blah I’ve tried it!! I don’t normally hold on to a game like this with a issue like this but I did drop some nice cash into the game and and thank you from the bottom of my heart for not giving a crud. Looks like I will leave a nasty review and all channels for people to see how well you care. UPDATE do funny the support link is a error 404 page!! So much for wanting to fix this crap game

Why complain?. -UPDATE- As I said, I would update my review once the crashing issue was resolved. I am happy to say it has been taken care of. This game is fantastic. It mixes all your favorite rpg features into one beautiful package. So first off please don’t complain about a pre-install. It’s a benefit if anything. Obviously the people downloading are not gamers or they would know that tons of games are doing this now. Just because it’s mobile you want to complain. Second, I really hope they fix the crashing problem before tomorrow. I get to the loading screen and it crashes every time. I’ll adjust accordingly once we get to play. For now it’s 3 stars to hopefully help make devs aware of the crashing issue.

What’s with the pvp?. I don’t know how match up in pvp is to everyone else, but for me it’s horrible. My CP is at 2411 as of this review and I either get people around 2800 CP and above, or below 2000 CP. Either way it’s completely unfair, either I get completely wrecked by higher leveled players or i wreck very low level players, and it’s completely unfair. It ruins pvp for a lot of players which is a essential part of this game. Very rarely do I get a close to even match up based around my CP. There has to be a better way to match up in pvp because right now it’s actually the worst part of the game, and I always dread playing it weather I win or lose. Also healing in pvp 1v1 is totally pointless, I am a knight and when I play against an overpowered character that can heal and do a lot of damage is completely unfair, both pvp battles are horrible, and need to completely reworked, Because IT IS HORRIBLE!

My analysis... First and foremost people shouldn’t be reviewing a game that have yet to play and give it a bad one at that???? Why exactly would someone review and rate a game that have yet to play??? Just kinda stupid.... Great game great graphics doesn’t fee like a reskin or crap just put together like every other game out there... only minor complaint is camera controls it would be much easier if the camera was locked while you move or atleast provide that option I would rather camera follow direction I’m having my character look and move due to small screen.. Other then that I have actually been playing the real game and having a blast very impressed I play the pc version as well and love this just as much

Excited!. The game has a lot of potential from all the trailers and game play videos I have seen of the Korean version. Compared to most mmo rpgs on Mobile, this game tends to have a lot of stuff to do daily and not on just one character but multiple. For anyone familiar with the family system; it was first introduced in SWTOR known as the legacy system and it really kept the community coming back for more. You’ll be rewarded across all characters for leveling other ones. The game does allow enough character creation spots to create one of each class in the future, so decide what you want your main to be and then make a bunch of additional characters for the shared combat power you’ll receive across your family. Good luck and I’ll see all on Kaia server when the game opens. ☺️

Amazing!. This is the best game I have! I love the graphics, and the amount of customization you have when it comes to characters is fantastic. However, I do have two issues with it. When I downloaded the game, I made a character, blah blah blah, started playing, then after a while it froze and then glitched me out! This happens frequently, literally EVERY. TIME. I. PLAY. It isn’t too much of a problem, because it doesn’t make me lose my progress or anything, but I still don’t like it. Second is that when I want to make another character, it’ll do the thing where it glitches me out. So now I’m stuck with one character, which is probably just a personal problem because I like variety, but yeah. Although it has its flaws, it’s still a wonderful game, and I’m looking forward to see it progress in future updates!

Good Try. Well, I give up. I managed to get to level 11, or something. Hard to be sure since I keep forgetting to check every time I crash and log back in. It’s a bit distracting since it happens every few minutes. I stuck it out for so long because I pretended that repeated relaunches were actually just a sort of grinding for level thing. But it gets old. I spend more time relaunching than playing. I know others are having the same problem, but I don’t know their circumstances, so I have to guess at why this is happening. It may be that we all have older devices? Mine is an older iPad Air. Although it runs well with all other apps I own, I have run into other games that simply say in the description that they won’t run on my iPad. Fair enough. So, I wouldn’t have been surprised if this app had said the same. But it didn’t. Here’s my question: If this game won’t run on older devices, WHY NOT TELL US THAT BEFORE WE DOWNLOAD IT??? I’ve relaunched since the last patch you put out. I’ve turned down all the options until the game looks like dueling watercolor splotches. I’ve rebooted my iPad. There are eight gigabytes of free space. I’m running the latest iOS. Not much more I can do. So I’m left with my guess that the game is incompatible with my iPad. Would have saved a lot of pain if you’d have told me at the start.

Give us more!. Give us the ability to fly in the game and also the leveling-up process is too slow,there is no way cp should be that hard to get, and enhancing gear and equipment should be manageable to a certain extent like buying certain things should not be in the 100billion it doesn't make it fair for new players, we need and want something a little better and attainable such as giving us mounts and pets that can fight as well as be able to merge with players, not cats dogs and birds that can't do nothing,at least if you're giving us cats and dogs, Wolves, snowman, birds and different types of animals as pets let them be mythical creatures that can do cool abilities and help us fight and gain cp and level up a little faster.

Nice, but one thing. I must say, the developers did a really amazzzinnng job on the game! I like the story a lot, and many things about it. But a thing that’s been bothering me a lot is the pets. It’s really really hard to buy one off the market, like, seriously. I understand that’s part of the game and all, with people having to sell things on it. But I also noticed you at least need 3 pets or so to get at least most of your loot drops. I find that a little bit annoying. It would be nice if people could actually be able to buy pets off the market without having to wait for a really, really long time for there to just be one. The good feed runs out in a second, and even if theres one pet, it runs out as fast as a terrified cat. At least put a few pets on the market once a day, please!!

This is THE MMO to play!. I can’t express how PC like this game comes close to. I am a huge mobile phone gamer and besides CODM this game gets added to my top tier list! I’ve tried so many MMORPG games on mobile and they just got so boring and very repetitive. I invested quite some time into Dawn Of Isles as that game was another MMORPG that I was addicted to until there was a daily experience leveling limit which is so stupid IMO. Anyways on to what I love about BDM! Character creation! Super similar to BDO amazing customizations like seriously amazing! Game graphics It’s exactly what you see on gameplays and it’s beautiful for what the mobile phone offers though it could be a little bit more clear and sharp because I believe my 11 pro can definitely handle those rendering lol Gameplay Doesn’t get old! There’s AFK grinding Background app grinding That auto fighting and gathering (forgot the others because I haven’t used it yet) are life savers! Literally can close the phone and let the game play on its own. There’s soo much to do literally almost replicates the PC version. If you haven’t tried and love to play MMORPGs....I highly recommend this one!

Garbage, P2W, Stay away for sure. This game is actual garbage. When the team of PA is met with hackers or bug abusers, they ban people, then unban the people and give them compensation. Their discord is extremely non professional, and they do NOT address actual issues. In order to get into a competitive scene at all, regarding PvP or PvE, you HAVE to spend money. It’s absolutely ridiculous how pay2win this game is and I recommend any and everyone to stay away from it, as it will simply just be a fight of who can spend more money first. The drop rates are actually below 1% for gear that you would NEED to perform in the endgame, but the same can not be said if you spend money, since you’ll have dozens of chances at the highest tier gear available. Again, stay away from this game as it is merely a money sink and was created for that purpose. People really have lost sight of the creation of good games, instead of the creation of business models that produce money. And that is all this game is, a business model to produce money.

Good game. It’s a good game. I was able to grind to lv 65 in three days. The game has a lot to offer for new players. Anyone can jump in and push into late game. There’s a lot of love into the story and each individual characters in town. I don’t like how many commodities you need to manage. It’s kinda overwhelming to have so many items thrown to you, when you don’t understand the basics of the game. The auto Battle is nice but it makes the PVe combat monotonous. The PVe is especially boring when you have to grind to new levels. You can set down your phone and walk away and It doesn’t keep any player immersed in the wonderful story of the game. The “End Game” is PVP but the goal post moves farther with each new update and NEW equipment. It’s the combat muddies the good qualities for me. Try it and see if it’s for you.

We’ll see how it goes. The privacy warnings are very vague and kinda scary. It reads like you give over your rights to everything on your device. I went ahead and did it, since there really is no privacy anywhere these days, but it does make me paranoid. The game itself is very engaging, like you would expect. The open world is very engrossing. The weigt limit is something that you have to get used to. The game is also very confusing. For example, there are lists for the knowledge you can gain, but it doesn’t tell you how to get the knowledge, so you can only get it if you stumble across it. And amity isn’t explained at all in the game. I had to learn about it from a you tuber. The game is very complex and only explains itself half the time. After a while of playing, it’s just a lot of grinding to get stronger. Like, nothing but grinding. And lots of auto play. It got so boring that I quit.

Pretty good. I like this game, I just don’t think it’s addictive which is one of the qualities of an awesome game. I think there should be more customization options, like way longer hair, but completely down. I would like a space bun option but with hair down in that too cause I always wear space buns and I want my character to represent me. Also I want way more outfit options cause there’s not a lot. And a super pastel stripe rainbow color that you can add to any color of hair that would be great. Overall this game is really realistic and fun would recommend it also to add to the more realistic part of the game please make the characters voices less annoying especially the girl who carries the potions thank you overall do recommended this game I don’t think it should be rated 12+ maybe 9+ cause there’s no blood FX. Do get this game it’s good 😊 😊

As close to perfect as you’ll find in a mobile game. This game looks great, plays great, and will have you always coming back for more; There is no shortage of things to do, even when you’re logged out! Perhaps best of all, no ads! It’s obvious that it’s possible to spend ridiculous amounts of real-world money on this game, but it seems that almost everything available to “whales” who spend tons of cash is also available to f2p players who are patient and willing to participate in all of the available game modes. There are CONSTANT updates introducing new game modes, new classes, and new ways to play. TBH, the biggest complaint I have about this game is the fact that every guide for it I can find was made for the base game at launch and therefore doesn’t touch on the new features that have been released since. There are certainly some bugs: auto-pathing is barely adequate at times (minor), and the logged-out “black spirit mode” requires you to manually quit the app before logging in again (again, minor, but quite annoying), but even with these issues this game is 100% deserving of 5 stars.

This game is dope asf, I played the pc and console version.. Everybody who’s hating this game are honestly big baby’s and crying about the tinniest things that a real gamer wouldn’t really give no cares about. 1 guy put a 2 star on this game because he leveled up because he picked a plant from level 1? If your level 1-7, in EVERY MMORPG it’s super easy to level up until you reach level 15-Max. Also, yes this is a semi big games that takes 2gb from your space but look..Get Over It! It’s a really cool beautiful games, you’re oblivious if you really think you can download a game these days that allows cooperation and customization and only charge you 50mb of space? STOP ACTING LIKE A BABY, GROW UP! THIS GAME IS GREAT! Best mmorpg on the mobile devices and pc for the low. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

One request, please 🙏. I like the zoom out camera review of the game. It exists while in camp where you can finger pinch out but doesn’t exist in the other areas and missions. The finger pinch zoom out camera review in missions and regions doesn’t satisfy me I keep finger pinching out the screen but it’s too limited and the camera is too close on character and doesn’t allow for a good area review specifically during battles. I really hope you can add this vital option for me yet simple for you to fulfill. I can tell this game is about perfection it has everything and I hope my request is taken care of 🙏. I’ll be waiting keeping my fingers crossed 🤞. If my request is done I’ll be forever a loyal customer for the game 💵😉🙏

Amazing game, needs improvement.. The state at release has been stable at best to say the least, but from what I’ve seen in terms of graphics, function, and playability both in pvp and pve I’m fairly impressed for a phone or tablet mmorpg type game. What I would like to see improvement in would be the following: A more immersive quest system that isn’t so easy to just skip through on auto play ( this defeats the grind and progression slightly ) another thing I’d like to see would be more intelligent and aggressive AI. Last issue for me is balance for pvp purposes, still unsure if this is a game where we’ll be rock paper scissor killing or running metas, but balancing is always an issue with games such as this. All in all it’s a great game, hopefully it’s improved upon further and it doesn’t fade into the abyss. GG

Downloaded and regret. I don’t make many reviews on games so this shows something right away. I was so excited because I genshin impact and green I loved it but didn’t like how much storage it took up so I downloaded this one thinking it would be kind of the same but better with storage and stuff like that based on what it said. But then once it is downloaded it says that it needs an additional Rowland that takes up 6 GB!!!!!! I am so sad I was really happy to try this game but I don’t have space for that much and genshin impact was less than that. I would love to play this game and I wish this review was the opposite and that it was 5 stars and all positive but this is how it is. Thank you so much if you read all of this I am really bummed out about this but I guess if it is really that good of a game it would be less but I wish you could make it less and then still have it be the same game. If you ever end up doing that please let me know because I would love to play.!

A great game with just one inconvenience. I honestly have had a blast playing BDO mobile. It is unlike other mobile games that I have played. It ticks off nearly every box a game like this should have. So far I have seen no signs of a pay-to-win aspect in the game, which I greatly appreciate. However, the only downside is when your character goes afk (or “black spirit mode,” where your character will loot for 3 to 6 hours without you actually playing the game), it will turn off the app and run in the background. The problem is whenever I return to the game to log back in it glitches saying there is no network and states that I have to restart the program. The only way I found to fix the problem is by turning off and on the phone each time. I love the game, but to constantly restart the program just to return to my character is a nuisances.

Nothing but a gambling app. I’ve waited some time to invest in the game before writing my review. Now that all the game release promotions are ending it’s very clear this is a swipe your credit card kind of game. I’ve finally reached a progression wall after 2-3 weeks and must either farm 10k+ monsters for xp/supplies or swipe if I want to progress. No thanks. The game is intentionally designed to be ridiculously boring at progress walls to encourage spending. Obvious they have no agenda but to sell micro transactions. There’s hardly anything to do without swiping unless you wanna afk farm one area for weeks on end. Besides that, send your workers out 1-3 times a day and that’s basically the game at high level. Virtually nothing interesting to do and pvp is run by whales so you can’t play it without spending. I am level 57 and have been playing since release day. This game strictly caters to pay to win players and employs addictive gambling mechanics on most cash purchases. Stay away.

Common complaints. 1. A lot of people complain about the game crashing their devices..I’m pretty sure these games are geared towards phones..9 out of 10 times the crashing complaints (for most mobile games) are from those with older devices or iPads. I’m not saying it’s not annoying..it’s just the way it is. 2. Any game people actually play for mobile is now pay to win. That’s the price for free to play. If you don’t enjoy the grind or pve then don’t play but don’t complain because other players are willing to pay to win. It’s the players pushing the economy not the developers. The sad truth is there will never be a balanced free to play game. Subscription games can be balanced but with the way players pay to win why would developers limit their bottom line?

Best mobile MMORPG!!. I absolutely LOVE this game! I’ve been wanting to play a mmorpg on my phone but I’ve never been satisfied with most other options. And then I saw this one and decided to give it a go. It’s amazing!! From character customization to graphics and storyline, it’s really a great mobile game! I’m aware there’s a laptop/computer version as well with more classes and features. I’m definitely going to play that one too but I had a question for the developers. Since I signed into this mobile version using my gmail account, can I do the same on the computer version? I tried logging in online but there wasn’t an option for signing in via gmail. So I’m not sure if I need to create a new account and therefore family name, and start all over again?

Awesome game but not new player friendly. This is one of the best games I’ve played of this type. The developers are fully engaged with the players and take their feedback to heart. The system of ftp and ptw seems pretty balanced. You don’t have to “whale” to have fun in this game. As it is a form of entertainment, I don’t mind spending reasonable amount monthly for a few perks (this is the developers job so they deserve pay). My only complaint is that since this is a long standing game, there are tons of advanced players. As a newbie, it is difficult to enjoy things like guild war or other mass PvP events because advanced players just demolish us like so many ants. I wish there was tiers in the mass events so that similar levels are set against each other.

Well executed, typical hard stop. Pros: 1. Nice graphics and audios. 2. Has a “sleep more” to tax your battery less when engaging in repetitive tasks like boss farming. 3. Pets/mounts aren’t just asthetic. They buff you and grab loot for you too. 4. The “auction house” allows you to order items so when someone posts what your want you automatically get it, saving time stalking and playing more. 5. Has an offline mode that allows you to farm while doing something productive with your life. Cons: 1. Typical advancement strategy you’d expect from a f2p game. You start off with a lot to do with a continuous flow of quests. New gear opportunities happens fast so you don’t feel like it’s not a grind. That is till your CP hits 2200 where you’re hooked. Advancement at this point comes to a halt where everything get extremely expensive to make next to nothing advancements. This is to temp you to whip out the credit card going into debt to maintain the advancement rates you had or get bored with grinds and being stuck in the same place for a long time to the point you’ll just look for a new app to repeat the process all over again. 2. Don’t bother with pvp unless you’re whipping out the credit card. It was ok when the game launched but now the heavy spenders flood the arena.

How much space is enough. First let me say that I hope to test out the game and i expect it to be great, hence the 5 stars. I expect that games with great graphics and great gameplay are gonna cost me something. My biggest issue is that some games are just ridiculous in how much storage is required on your phone to actually run their game. The app details will say a small amount of space, but as soon as you open up the game, WHAM, welcome to patch download hell. This game wouldn’t even say how much data the patch needed so i could decide if it was worth my time to clear up the space. I will of course find out by running it through an emulator, but just wondering if anybody else is feeling my pain here. If you as a dev know the initial patch of a game is gonna be GB’s large, don’t be jerk and put your initial installer as some sad little file size. Let us know the space required to run the initial game in the app store so we know what we are in for. If the game is 4GB or larger so be it. It is not gonna stop people from downloading the thing so stop with the bait and switch. Anyways, good luck with the game Devs. I hope it rocks.

Garbage. This is absolutely nothing but a tutorial I HATE TUTORIALS there's absolutely no way to skip it because that's all this game is I already played the game on the computer I know how to do everything but no they FORCE you to go through a hundred tutorial quests it's been 3 days of non stop playing this and I'm only 34% done with the stupid tutorial I've officially deleted this app and will never log back on not on the pc and certainly not in the app I absolutely CANNOT stand when tutorials FORCE you to click here or there OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN I hate that LET ME DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT TO DO HOWEVER THE HELL I WANT TO DO IT!!! This forced tutorial along with the forced "touch here" completely killed ALL desire to play this game it's absolutely ANNOYING the graphics are also complete garbage as well and there are a plethora of glitches and bugs DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GARBAGE APP There is no reason a "skip tutorial" option can't be added in the settings nice and hidden from new people

My two cents. Just started playing a few days ago, the game is fun there’s times when I get out of work and I start playing and by the time I realize a few hours have passed lol. With that being said the game also has a few flaws that if fixed could make the game better. 1) PVP- PVP is so broken every time I join it’s always someone with a higher cp and as we all know cp is king. 2) Ancient tickets- I don’t know if it’s a bug or it’s something that I didn't catch on in the tutorial for a few occasions now I’ve done a run where I started at say 27 tickets and for some reason after the game that take say 7 tickets I end up with only 2?? How does that work?? Where did the tickets go? Anywho it’s a good game you guys should try it out every game has its good and bad reviews but you won’t know until you try for your self. “)

So far it’s so cool!. It’s not pay to win that’s for sure, but there are outfits you can pay for, and you can also pay for “auto play” while you’re offline, but not necessary. It’s a great experience, it’s super easy in early levels but once you hit level 40 that’s where it gets good and a bit difficult which is a nice pace. Character customization is cool too. There’s so much to do it’s insane. If you play this I would recommend the witch or the giant, both are the best. Also it’s great that this game is not set to auto play (while in game) it makes you enjoy the story and the action, unlike other games, auto play makes it boring and uninteresting. I do like that you can auto play for other new characters, for quests you’ve already done.

It’s Alright. For a game that allows you to update the small detail on your character, they sure failed at allowing you to select your gender and class. Each class is restricted, solo I can’t be a female warrior, male archer, male mage, etc, the only one that I feel is correct is the Valkyrie class which is female restricted. Visually, it looks great in your mobile or tablet because everything is condense to fit the screen, but if you’re curious about using an adapter to display it on your 55” tv, it’s going to be less impressive. Additionally; as much as I love MMO, I simply hate the controls. I have adult fingers and I simply don’t have the dexterity to move my camera fast enough in a 180 to fight the enemy behind me. Don’t get me wrong, my nephew plays it wonderfully and I just can’t keep up. Overall, 4/5 stars for what it is.

Missing loot from Kzarka (boss). In general, this game is a great mobile game and has great AFK farming to have something to come back to. It’s a mediocre 6.2/10 due to the lack of economy and EXTREME pay-to-win structure. Still worth playing except when you loot something amazing and it is no where to be found. After I submitted my support ticket about a very amazing item I looted but do not have anywhere in my inventory I started to notice people in general chat asking about missing items. I want to say something but the item I am missing is so amazing that people will either disbelieve my story or panic about how something so terrible could happen. I don’t care about the panic, I’m in a panic, but I care about how people will disbelieve me. That is why I am here. I submitted a ticket respectfully 3 days ago. As a big-time supporter (whale) I expect to at least get a response by now. I’m starting to second guess everything. I don’t do refunds but if I did, it would be now. Ignored support ticket, missing loot... You tell me. I will adjust this to 4/5 or 5/5 based on my future dealings with these developers but right now that’s just not happening. Privacy Concern. I have Black Desert on my PC, which is more walled off than my mobile devices. Not my favorite MMO but I was excited to try it on mobile. But when looking at the terms you have to accept, I have serious concern about what data they intend to collect from my phone and iPad. It looks like they can collect all messaging and any data you generate while using their service. If it’s running in the background, does that mean I’m using their service and they can intercept all my data and communications when I’m not playing, too? Arguably yes. We should all be aware enough at this point to know that accepting a “free” product likely means you’re paying by giving up data privacy, so it can be mined and sold. I’ll wait to play this one until after there’s more known about their ethics and practices.

Black\White Pearl Appearance Coupon Complaint. I love black desert a lot! Way more than I should lol but I recently broke my laptop so now I’m on mobile. I have a lot of concerns with the mobile version but my biggest concern is the appearance options. Your team has innovated, broke the boundaries, and started a new standard of what a Mobile MMORPG should be. You advertise the appearance options for character creation and they truly are exceptional yet, you have a pay wall in front of it. Maybe you guys could reset the coupons daily, weekly, or monthly. I loved changing my style and creating beautiful characters while playing PC in fact, it was one of my favorite things to do and it’s disappointing to have one of the main things to do in BDO, you can only do once in BDM.

PVP Very Broken and to many whales. The game is very fun with okay graphics. There is many ways for free to play players to get stronger without spending any money. I’m sure anyone who downloads this game will enjoy it. There are some issues many around the arena gameplay that is completely broken. Anything that has to do with pvp in this game will be broken mainly due to the whales out there spend all their money on cp and their are many different types of laggs in arena making some fights impossible to win. It will drive a person crazy on how they even lost when they probably should have won. The characters in this game make a major power gap depending on which character you pick, basically it’s characters selection are very unbalanced in cp. Maybe if they make the characters more balanced and especially in pvp then I would give a better rate, but until then I believe it’s a solid 3 star.

Gambling game...Not friendly to Eastern Time Zone Players. I have played this game since Dec 2019. I am not a whale but have spent money for convenience features, more weight capacity etc. This game is far better than lineage 2 revolution and the graphics are excellent for a mobile game. Ive reached the point where I need to acquire red abyssal equipment to improve my character. To do this the developers have provided drops from world bosses or from an in game feature called Shaktu’s shop using gold coins obtained primarily through the boss rush feature. The Shaktu feature is basically gambling to roll for a piece of red equipment using gold coins. Ive spent millions of these and never seen a piece of red equipment drop. If you look for information on the drop rate of red equipment from Shaktu shop it isnt available- while the drop rates from other items in game are. Basically you are gambling without any knowledge of the odds involved. I wish the developers would provide the odds for pulling red or orange equipment. There is an event currently with an abyssal rate up increase, but no information is provided on the size of increase or the base chance. The other option is farming world bosses. World bosses only spawn at 4 pm and Midnight eastern standard time. This makes it challenging for people with 1st shift schedules to do world bosses. I wish the developers would consider broadening or adding additional times for world boss appearances.

Love it!!!!. This game is amazing! I recommend to everyone in the universe and here are my reasons: 1 super customizable characters 2 amazing graphics, 3 the storyline is another thing altogether. It is stunningly original, and there are so many games like this, that you'd think that all possible plotlines are taken. 4 this ”black spirit” is funny and sarcastic, reminding me of myself. The only things I don't like are: 1 not enough hairstyles. I myself have a short haircut that I usually have to look in the ”boys” category to find. Here, there's only about 4 hairstyles I could pick from. 2 I can't get out of attack mode. And 3, too many random downloads. I appreciate the minigame though. These 3 ”bad” things hardly make a scratch on this game’s perfect reputation. Overall, I LOVE this game.

Fun but pay to win like PC version. First off the combats pretty fun until you just start putting it on auto play PvP is pretty solid besides the unbalanced matchmaking for it. The currency is pretty easy to get, love the camp system but less time getting resources would be nice and the world of BDO is really nice for a mobile version but the problems I have with the game is Armor not changing at all until like the third highest gear rating(talking about on your character),not being able to have a helmet be show on my character. Potion sellers not selling anything higher then medium which is only 200 health each use. The lack of in-game content/classes compared to the PC version. Boss rush would be better if the combat plus stuff was just added to it instead of having to do each run one by one also please tell people how to block or make it automatic same with rolling to dodge (needs more then 3 charges)
