New customer. I like it so far. I do not how ever understand why it takes the app to update your transactions and balance. I have made 3 smaller purchases each under 40 dollars and only one has shown up. I have not had any other transactions show up at all. So please get your app to update right then and there also should be able to pay balance with a debit card and not the checking account it would allow for better credit building thanks. I’m pleased with the card and it’s functions but the app could be a lot better thank you. Stay Blessed.

Stupid payment. For one I wanna say the automated system is stupid. I wanted to make a payment using my debit card which you have to call in order to do that which is crazy, but long story short if you’re not trying to make the minimum payment then don’t call the automated system will not take your payment unless you’re making the minimum payment. Money is money no matter the amount the automated system should take whatever you’re trying to pay. Lastly I think it’s very dumb that you have to wait (in my head) years for a ACH payment to go through. Maybe if the automated system would have took whatever i wanted to pay then I wouldn’t have to wait almost two weeks for a payment to post to the account. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Decent App. Decent app but some functionality needs improvement. Only way to pay through the app is via Bank Account. Furthermore using a bank account places a hold on crediting your account for up to 20 days. So I make a payment via bank account on the 26th, the money is withdrawn from my account on the 26th, the transaction is shown IN THIS APP on the 27th, my current balance is adjusted to show the payment was made. However. It still shows I need to make a payment for the month and the available credit is not changed. That payment on the 26th will not be available credit until the 5th. A call to the call center provides this information and confirmation that at least the payment did count for the upcoming month. Being able to use a debit card in the app would fix this. However, calling the center to use a debit can be problematic as well. I ran my debit card 3 times. Twice by an operator at the center it was declined. I called my bank to see what the issue was and no record of my card being run was seen. I tried using the automated system and the card was declined again. A quick call to my bank showed they never received a request for funds from Premiere Bank. Premiere was not requesting funds. My debit card works online and in person at any other place I have tried to use it. As a layperson that tells me the problem is somewhere in Premiere Banks system. Their network is not always communicating with other networks.

Report crazy fast. These guys are supposed to help build your credit but with the fees and reporting you literally the day you are late isn’t very helpful. Sometimes things happen I had this card for a couple months things were going great then coronavirus hit. I run a biz in the only county in the state that got shut down. My score was up over 60-70 points. I explained the virus was affecting me they reported it and said nothing they could do. My credit if I remember right almost dropped every point I had gained but lost even more over night. Not very nice on their behalf. Good luck to everyone. First premier I get you are a business but how about not trying to pull every cent out of us that need a little help!

Delayed Transactions Posts. Would give this a 4 star but waiting days for expenses to post to your account is just a pain. I just end up doing the math, guess-timating what I owe and post the payment. I was told by several reps my payment isn't due yet, but the app does not do a good enough job to reflect that. So what I do is pay way ahead of time even though the app says payment isn't due yet nor reflects accurate information compared to other major credit card companies. I'm just using this card to rebuild my credit and move on, because the sign up and annual fees alone are not in my best interest, to say the least. My advice to other users, keep track of your expenses elsewhere, pay up usage 2 weeks in advance and move on to another company before you loose your card or 1yr is up before you get hit with major fees!

Predatory Company. Any sort of problem causing a missed payment, will result in fees and interest charges that will leave you unable to ever bring down your balance again, unless you can pay it in full. I had a $700 limit that I had to use for essentials and after not being able to make a payment, my account is $242 past due and almost a $1000 bill now. This card is designed for people with mid/poor credit, because you have to keep making the payment that goes almost all to interest, just to try and keep a good credit score. I refuse, until someone reaches out from premier and explains why my balances are so absurdly high when I haven’t used the cards in months and have strugggled with money during the pandemic. Dont recommend, use cash only.

Can’t complain. I honestly can’t complain. I pay my balance over the phone by instant payment via debit card, within minutes and my total balance resets to zero. I don’t use the pay by checking account feature because it can take up to 14 days before the payment is made/cleared. Customer service is helpful, friendly and usually picks up pretty quickly. Had it for like 7 months and no issues. I’m going to wait until I hit the 1 year mark and ask for a limit increase.

Nothing about this card is user friendly!! So horrible. I got this credit card because It was the only one that would except my horrible credit score. There is no easy way to pay this credit card. you can’t use your debit card you can only use your checking account it takes 7-14 days for it to post on your account to be available. the only way to get it instantly available is to pay the 9$ fee at Walmart or Western Union. Customer service is a nightmare to deal with they never wanna answer the phone and the telemetered service and the props are also not user-friendly or give you options that you need to talk to a live representative. just the worst credit card we have. But it has help me build my credit and as soon as I get more established I’m going to cancel this credit card cause it’s by far not worth the hassle it creates when trying to pay it

Card - friend or foe?. The card availability is a blessing and it’s features are nice- lets start there. The headache is when you’re attempting to use it and have to enter a PIN number as if it’s a debit card! I was told it was for added security. (Won’t go there- but ok) Now the app. You can’t see pending transactions. The lag time with posting the correct card balance is too long. Even if you know your balance owed is $100, you can only pay the balance it gives you even if it’s $20. You’ll see all of your transactions, but, your balance won’t reflect the same. I waited almost 2weeks to pay because I waited for a balance owed to update. That’s a headache! Finally, every time I log in to pay my bill, it says I’m entering the wrong password- despite my having it written down. So resetting every month is now a necessary thing. If First Premier can fix these issues might not be too bad...

First time Customer/BAD EXPERIENCE. My card privileges were suspended immediately the second time I used the card. I was at a restaurant getting ready to pay my bill and it kept coming back declined. I couldn’t understand what was happening so I waited a couple of days to call customer service. When I finally spoke with someone they informed me that my privileges were suspended because of fraudulent activity. I explained that it was me using the card but it didn’t matter. I have to send documents to prove it me. I understand the fraudulent system in place but Premier could’ve sent a text message notification asking if it’s me using the card instead of suspending my account right away. I was embarrassed and I’m still waiting for my account to be restored and still no luck. I hope someone in corporate office reads this and reach out to me about this matter.

Building your credit. This credit card from this bank has really helped me with my credit score. Even though it’s not a big jump it’s enough to help show other credit card companies and finance companies your reliable and will pay. I would highly recommend this company and never pay just the minimum balance always pay more than the minimum this way it reflects on your credit history with your credit scores.

Financial trap. The main reason I write this review is those cold calls in the early morning makes me having seizure symptoms . I have opened this card to increase my credit score but it’s ruined because of the highe interest fees and late fees keep added to the account. This is a financial trap for those who don’t have knowledge about the credit system and for those who new to the state. My suggestion from my own experience is PLEASE GET AWAY FROM THIS FINANCIAL TRAP, don’t make your life more difficult than before. Believe me I don’t want you to be the next target. Get away from them. My credit card was approved for $400 in order to use the card I have to pay some fees in advance , now I have used only $228 total from the card . Do you know how much my current balance is???? $561 . I can’t even close the account, I’ve been told that they keep adding the fees each month. Only makes my life more difficult. I do regret that I opened an account with them. I DO NOT SUGGEST ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS BUT EASY APPROVAL TO THE FINANCIAL TRAP. I’m one of those who have been struggling with their financial trap.

Excellent card for rebuilding credit. I’ve had great experiences with this card. I began working on fixing my credit 1 1/2 years ago, and was approved for this card around a year ago. A $300 limit was perfect to control and perfect to set a positive payment history. I’ve never had issue with the card, the app or customer service. Recently I was offered a second card through Premier for a higher limit due to my on time payment history and updated credit rating. I highly suggest taking advantage of both cards offered for credit building/rebuilding.

I love you yall. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me a credit card it is my first one ever. In respect to your company giving me a chance to prove myself and establish credit I thank y’all. I will make this my priority to pay first on or after the 3rd of every month. This has helped me to since I’m disabled and only have a set income. There’s people like me who deserve other chances. My credit has been messed up since the late 80s to early 90s because my Dad took it on him self to use my name on Gas and water bills electric bills and I was only a teenager or less back then. So thank you FIRST PREMIER for giving me a chance to prove it to you.

Too many fee!. I find it very unfortunate because First Premier Bank primarily focuses on helping customers with bad or not so favorable credit issues, they select to charge them so many fees. For instance, there is a $12 monthly fee which adds up to $144 along with a $79 yearly fee that members of with this card are subjected to. Very unfair because of past credit negligence. Because our credit scores isn’t desirable don’t mean we should be treated so unscrupulously by credit lenders such as First Premier Bank. I’m also very thankful that First Premier Bank was willing to take a chance with me and others who didn’t or probably still don’t have a desirable credit scores. But because of the fees along with very high interest rates, despite concerted efforts by some of us to show our desperation to do better to improve our credit scores is my reason for giving First Premier Bank 1 Star on this review

Harassment. I have been hospitalized several times in the last 5 months . I have cancer and have been receiving chemotherapy. The number of calls that I received because of a late payment has been ridiculous. I received no less than 75 phone calls from your office . Even though I explained to your associates that I was hospitalized and just received chemo , they didn’t care and kept asking for a payment even after letting them know that I have not worked since January 2023. I am truly disheartened by the behavior of your company and will be glad when I can pay off my bill and close my account because I don’t want to deal with a company that treats their clients this way

When no one else would give me a chance. Thank you so much for allowing me to have a smalll credit limit with you to establish credit for myself to be able to build my credit. Since I have gotten this card I only make one purchase a month and make sure it is paid off on time no matter what. Since opening a acct with capital one had given me a card also. Life is good today and I will not let myself down by falling behind on a payment at al. You guys have saved my credit!!!

Premier Bank Card was one of the first to help me rebuild credit 👍🏻. After a bankruptcy, and some unfortunate experiences with mobile device purchase agreements, where my devices got stolen, I was left as a late 30’s aged guy, with poor credit, and a lackluster jobs and income outlook. Thankfully, Premier Bank Card got me back in to having credit again, even if the terms are a bit tough, at times. I did agree to the terms, and I’m working my way through things, and I’m expecting better outcomes in the future 🌈.

Hopeful. I am a new customer who read the reviews before selecting Premier. I set an amount each month to make purchases with my card and then reminded myself to make the payment 2 days before it’s due. I clear the entire bill. As a result of this, I am receiving offers from companies to increase my credit amount - no thank you. If your goal is to increase your credit score, don’t do it. Repairing your credit will not happen overnight. I’m hopeful and know that good credit can open many doors!

First But Not Premiering this Particular client. I have been dutifully loyal to First Premíer since the onset of our relationship and you have treated me like a red headed stepchild. You have not noticed me or recognized me as a valued customer. Until recently when one of your customer service reps made a few concessions in my favor. I have been stuck in the same difficult sign on procedures until I was finally able to get the newest app. Again due to the last rep I spoke with ( I wish I had taken down her name). Anyhow - I love the new app it is so much more client friendly !!

They got tricks that’s for sure. I made a payment like 2 weeks ago and was told by the rep over the phone that what I had paid would pay both June and July’s payments but she lied and now they want a late fee from me too. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Plus when you sign up they make you pay a “premium design fee” for a single colored card with only their logo on it, which is NOT a premium anything. The amount you owe when they send you a paper statement and the amount you owe in the app and the amount you owe when they call you are NEVER the same. They do this so they can say you didn’t pay the right amount and owe a late fee. You can never get an actual accounting of each of your transaction with a corresponding balance so who knows if they are even charging you the correct amount. Pretty much a scam.

Hate this company. AVOID this company!! I got this card to help boost my credit a while back, but it’s actually hurt my credit instead! They reported me to the credit agencies one week after for ONE missed monthly payment of $6.75!! They make it impossible to schedule a payment in advance and they don’t offer auto pay. I was going through a medical emergency and missed one months $6.75 payment and I wrote to them and asked them to please remove it, correct it with credit agencies, but they ignored me. Now it shows up as a late payment and actually lowered my credit and is making it really hard for me to apply for home loans in a competitive market. I totally regret getting this card!! It’s hurting me tremendously over a $6.75 unnecessary fee. AVOID!!!

Absolutely unbelievable!!!!!!. This credit card is by far the worst credit company I have ever dealt with. I pay the $95 activation fee and was only allowed to make one $20 transaction before they froze my account due to fraudulent activity. which was a. Normal debit transaction that shows no fraud whatsoever. They then charge me a $65 annual subscription fee along with a $39 late fee and a $26 late fee in less than a 30 day period my balance owed came too close to $200 all over a $20 transaction not only that when trying to get my account reactivated they asked me to verify my identity bad Social Security card and proof of address which I have provided both, but they always had a reason why it wasn’t enough I would not recommend this company to anybody

Had to change to 3 from 4.. I just read some older reviews about this card and they similar to mine. The app isn’t user friendly at all. The layout is weird and why does it take so long to update your balance, or show pending transactions? Oh and what’s with the pin request thing at the register? It’s a credit card. I’m very grateful for the company giving a chance to build my credit but why all the fees? People with bad or rebuilding credit should not be charged with so many fees. I had to pay you a $95 processing fee then you charge me the $79 yearly fee right after. I already you almost $100 and I haven’t even used it. Seeing how those almost 1 year old reviews are saying the same thing I’m saying now, it shows me how much the company cares.

Unhappy with login. I’ve gotten so tired of creating new passwords over and over and over again because apparently my face is not good enough anymore I’m gonna try and pay this card off and get rid of it because the whole thing is way too much hassle just to get a point or two in a positive direction for my credit score I’m sure I can find some other company that has a little bit more user-friendly and not a major hassle I’m trying to rebuild my life after voluntarily checking into a alcohol rehab program now I’m six years sober and I would like my life is good to continue on a positive note. And if I can’t get into the The app with supposedly easy to use application or the not so helpful website. Any response that might help with possibly maintaining the card so I can rebuild my credit would be appreciated. Thank you very much

Decent for a starter card. It’s a decent card that will help build credit. The downsides are that the app is not user friendly, credit limits are too low for long time users and the fees are ridiculous (yearly, monthly, initial, limit increase, late payment) but fees are expected when you are utilizing a service to build credit. I’ve had 2 accounts with them for almost 4 years (had a 0 balance for over a year, still paying monthly fees) and will soon be closing both of them. If they would offer serious credit limits, I would consider keeping them.

My opinion. To whom it may concern premier is a great credit card company customer service is A1 and their very passionate about their job and work hard to help with whatever you need the only thing that need’s better for their customers is more time to make a payment before they send them to the credit bureau it knocks your score tremendously down and that’s not fair if I feel as if you can push out 15 days and say that your the one that give second chances keep your word because some of us can’t afford to pay right then and there we need more time to make payments because when you send a message to the bureaus they instantly drop ur score by 20 to 30 points and it doesn’t matter after you do make that payment and they put u back at current status we still don’t get those points back what they took from us the fact is we deserve at least 30 days to make a payment and after that 30th day payment isn’t met then you should send us to the credit bureau don’t get it twisted because I love premier I have been with them a little over two years with my first orange card and just got approved a couple months ago for my second orange card thru them with a nice amount thank you premier 😘you asked for my opinion and I gave you what it should and needs to be please take this issue into consideration thank you and stay safe and blessed 😇

Taunta. The interest rates are over the top in addition to that I have a second card with them and why do I need 2 cards? Why can they not be combined because with the two cards every year I get charged a yearly fee so my goal is to pay the cards down and get rid of them and I would not advise anyone to take this card. When I initially got these cards my credit was low but I’ve never been late I’ve paid on time and I’ve asked repeatedly could you please combine the two cards and they say no we can’t do that. So what that says to me is that this is not a company that’s interested in the Consumer this is a company that is taking advantage of people who were trying to rebuild their credit.

HORRIBLE. Literally ALL of your customer service members i spoke to was incompetent and ready to get off the phone. I was never rude nor nasty but they gave me the same answers time after time even after i ASKED to speak to a manager. I will most definitely be canceling your “services” very soon. I was given the run around about WHERE my money is going and why it isn’t showing as CREDITED in my account EVEN AFTER THE STATEMENTS SAY CREDITED…. It’s been a month and some days now and I’ve paid 5 times and the only “available credit” i have is $26 lil dollars when it should be way more than that. Poor beyond words. Horrible at explanations and when i was told to call my bank because “they have it” my bank told me that it never came back to them.!! Do not recommend AT ALL.

THIS APP IS A SCAM. I called the customer service I complained to them why my app isn’t letting me login they told me that happen because I’m owning some money that as soon I pay the debt I will able to login and also get a new credit card sent to me so I pay the debt online and I was debited still yet I couldn’t get in for over 4 months and they keep emailing me again to pay for debt which I already paid so I called the customer service again three days back to them to stop emailing that they are a thief and a big fat liar I told her everything they did to me and she guaranteed me if I pay for the current debt on it I will get my new card and also get in my account so I trusted her again I made the payment and still yet nothing they keep on doing the same I couldn’t get a new card or get into my account I lost over $600 still yet I can’t get into my account. Don’t trust the app they are liars and scammers!!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I ABSOLUTELY HATE HATE HATE HATE HATEEEEEE THIS DARN CREDIT COMPANY!!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! What am I supposed to do with $20 freakin’ dollars before the 90 days are up!?!? Is this credit line for a minors!? I spent $182 and I paid it right away… this is a joke! PROBLEM #1 then I couldn’t use my credit card for DAYYSSSS maybe even weeks and I just dealt with Hurricane Ian and he completely destroyed my town and my life!! “Oh your first payment is waived after you just had a Hurricane but we will only limit you to $20 freakin’ dollars to use, go buy a pack of gum, I hope that’s enough for you!!” Are you kidding me!? 😡😡😡 Why wasn’t my $182 waived then!? Why did I pay!? Why am I having ALLLLL THESE PROBLEMS!? PROBLEM #2 And now I can’t make ANY purchase online because they sent me a credit card with the INCORRECT CVV NUMBER…. And I am here absolutely frustrated and stressed because I’m here thanking the LORD for answering my prayers with this extra cash and I literally got ALLLL MY HOPES UP!! I am so upset I honestly cannot believe I am feeling this way. I thought I cried enough because of this darn hurricane but no, this credit card company just topped it off. I could kill my self with everything I am going through and this IGNORANT CREDIT CARD COMPANY GIVES ME HOPE AND THEN TAKES IT ALLLL RIGHT BACK!! 💔💔💔💔

Delayed Transactions / Terrible Customer Service. Simply using this card to continue building my credit, however, I had a recent issue with my balance owed, and wanted to cancel, and was hung up on by the SUPERVISOR. Very unprofessional. Despite my confusion, I still wanted to pay the balance but continue with the cancellation, and no one was patient enough to offer an explanation as to why I owed so much. Was given several different numbers by different agents, adding to my confusion, and was not able to reach a solution, so they hung up on me. I run a few businesses, and wish I could hang up on my customers as a resolution 🙄 If the app showed current transactions as they were made, instead of delaying, this could have been avoided.

Harassing phone calls. They have a problem not letting you use a debit card to pay online and they constantly called every day don’t leave a message they are breaking federal and state laws state of Georgia is $1500 per phone call looking into the attorney for this now and they had it set up where you pay debit you could pay your card very disappointed in their service leave no messages keep calling to three times a day call 9 o’clock at night

Beat credit company to build credit and receive increases. Always giving me ways to increase my score not looking at past issues with credit score being decreased due to fraud on my bank account. They always look at our personal relationship and do not judge me by a score I value and appreciate I’m looked at by my history with them as a whole and by our personal payment history and payments and not by a number that has no bearing to me paying on time and I. Full almost every month I be been with 1st premier over a year and have been very satisfied with my results and the fact they offer the increases not make me have to apply after perfect payments and I wanna say thank u for offering me a way to fix my past credit problems by offering me a chance without judging me I rate their customer service and the ability to change ur pin on ur own phone without waiting in the mail for a computer generated number is also a plus a lot of great service products and easy navigating on all aspects of the credit services. And the app thanks again Christina lovria and because of this everyone in my family chooses and loves 1st premier credit #1 cs service no robots

Love it EXCEPT. The app works very well never have any any trouble with it. Only two things I wish they, First Premier Bank would fix/improve. 1) Is that the balance would reflect immediately. I noticed after using my card the new balance available doesn’t update/show for a while. Sometimes it takes only a day or two, but others it takes 3 or more days. 2) After I make a payment over the phone with a debit card, the funds take an upwards of 10 days to almost 20. If I’m using a debit card and the payment goes through, why does it take so long to let me use my money? Ive tried doing it online through the app but honestly it takes a even LONGER to have access to my funds. It’s a very FRUSTRATING INCONVENIENCE!

IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS! RAISES CREDIT FAST. I purchased this card to help my credit fast. Mixed reviews said go for it! My credit jumped 20 points the following week and I haven’t even received the card yet! I recommend downloading the app to keep track bc I have not received the card or any mail but a payment is due in two weeks ! Also follow Credit Karma they gave advise as to when to make payment to help get another jump. Even though I haven’t received card considering it’s moving I went ahead and made the minimum payment before the due date for the credit increase! This should not be used for major purchases until you’ve achieved the credit goal! Overall I’m happy

Patience and understanding. I found premier about a year ago with my bad credit I assumed I would have been denied but optimistic I went for it & applied. Approximately 6 months with having my card I lost 2 big client’s, my finances changed with that change Premier gave me time to make small payments so it wouldn’t affect my credit with a charge off. My family & I ate genuinely grateful for allowing me the time to get back on my feet, rebuild my finances without a huge impact on my credit. Thank you

Worst Financial Institution. Interest rates are crazy and insane, they will keep charging you day by day if your late just to keep you more in debt. I am looking forward to paying back what I owe and then finally getting rid of this company out of my life for good. Customer service is 🗑, always pressuring you to make a full payment even if you can’t afford to make the full payment that day. Even if you explain how hard things are right now for you they do not care. Customer representative’s always have or catch an attitude. This bank makes it known that they do not care about your financial situation. Do not expect for this bank or the representatives to care about you at all, to help you, or even show some form of compassion. One of the worst mistakes of my life was banking with this financial institution. Do Not Do Any Form Of Business With This Financial Institution!!!!!!!!

credit limit raise is next to impossible with this card. There are better cards out there. I’ve had my card going on three months now and pay my balance every month. Last month I lost my card when my truck got broken into and it got stolen. I called in to replace my card next thing I know there’s a $15 service charge on my account with no explanation as to why. It’s only listed as a balance transfer fee. I don’t have a balance on my card so why am I being charged a fee? The app is extremely hard to navigate and takes forever to update when I make a payment. This is a lot of hassle for such a low limit card. On the plus side, the tech-support folks are extremely nice

Payments. First credit card by Premiere and first time using app. I set up bank information to make payments. Despite the payment posted to my checking the following day of payment. I called and was told the funds will not be available on the credit card up to 20 days. In my case she said the funds will available 8 days after payment was made (7 days after payment posted). I have another credit card and I use their app and once the money posts from my checking the funds are immediately available on the credit card. I prefer using apps to make payments instead of calling and going through the automated service. Only use the app if you make balance inquiry. Don’t bother making payments unless you’re okay with waiting up to 20 days to post.

Wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. DO NOT GET THIS CREDIT CARD. There are no autopay options. I don’t get reminders to pay. I have paid more in fees to this company than my credit limit. This card is a joke. There’s a “monthly fee” you have to pay even though I specifically got this card to not pay fees month to month. They enjoy making you miss a payment to pay additional fees. The only reason that I have this card still is to not destroy my credit history as I’ve had this card for a few years. Absolute GARBAGE. Do not patronize this company. They are horrible, and they do not care about the customer. If they really wanted to help us, they wouldn’t destroy us with unnecessary fees and an inability to autopay (thereby paying MORE fees). They are horrible, I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Do not utilize their services unless you want to make your life worse. App review - perfectly serviceable, not as good as Capital One or Discover. Both have WAY better customer experiences and don’t drown you in fees.

Complaint and review. I do not like how long it takes for the card to come in and there’s no digital card so that you can at least access your funds within at least 24 to 48 hours. I have to wait up to 14 days to get my card. That’s a bit much. I also do not like the long automated phone call just to get in touch with someone at your bank. Also, it took 5 days before I could even get into the app. It would not load for 5 days. However, I did get in touch with a customer service rep and she helped quickly give me piece of mind. Thanks!

Good Re-start Card. I got a 1st Premier card in 2020 after a bankruptcy discharge. It served me well in helping to rebuild my credit. I never had any problems with the card and made every payment on time. The limit was increased. One issue I had was that the card didn’t allow for automatic payments, so I had to remember to pay it manually each month unlike all my other cards. 2 years later, as I paid off card balances during my new home purchase, I realized that even with a zero balance, I was still paying a monthly fee of $12 ($144/year) plus a $79 annual fee, for a total of $223. I called to see if they’d at least remove the monthly fee in absence of a balance, to no avail. A retention rep offered a courtesy credit if $45, which would have brought the annual fees to $179;still too much, so I canceled the card. But I still say this is a good card to reboot credit after issues and was worth the extra fees for a couple years.

App doesn’t work, High Fees, not worth it. Granted this card came to me in a moment of hard times but I would’ve gone without it if I knew all the crap I would’ve had to deal with because of it. The app does not work ..it leads you to some site that does not even work and is not touch friendly. The fees I have received from this card are ridiculous including the interest every time I even use the card it charges me a purchase interest fee. One time I paid my bill and right away it took my annual fee so my payment nothing. Just really a disappointing waste of time. Not to mention the high fee it cost to just have your payment be immediate and not be held for 20 days. Do yourself a favor.. Choose something else.

Thanks for when I needed you but may leave. This credit card did help me really build up my credit when I needed it, I have 2 other credit cards now with Discover and CapitalOne. However I will say them as a company and their app is so primitive to the point of me debating whether or not just closing my account. It’s 2023, I’m super busy with work, a new home and fiancé and I really value and need convenience and Premier hasn’t seemed to even graduate to the 2010’s. To pay a bill you have to call and take several steps to make the payment or pay from your checking account which will take 3-5 business days to come out- I don’t have patience for that. Also I just opened a bank account with Chase today and I tried linking my premier credit card to the account but I guess the login for the app is different for the website so I don’t have a profile on the internet? Idk I’m pretty young so these 2003 internet and phone habits Premier have are annoying, confusing and frustrating so my account is likely coming to an end soon but I wish them the best. Hire some millennial tech professionals to help you.

Customer Service Experience. I have been with the company for almost 2 months. In that time I have spoken to numerous associates about my issues in regards to my card, but the help that I have received has been lackluster. Each conversation ended in either a lie or half truth, and I still have not received my card. Not even a virtual card. Not to mention I prepay and have already received 2 statements for a card I haven’t even touched! The associates told me that there was no one that could help me. I had no other way to speak to anybody other calling. The only thing that has been consistent is the associates telling me to just wait or be patient. I was even yelled at!!! Let’s just say I’m not pleased or impressed.

Premier Bank Card. I love this company, for those of us that don’t have great credit this is a good way to start building your credit back. I have been with PBC for a while now and I couldn’t be happier they have outstanding customer service and support and they seem to be able to answer any questions you have. It’s a challenge these days to get past automated Systems to a real human being in the other end but PBC seems to have that problem solved and I have never had an issue that they weren’t able to handle in a timely professional manner so if you’re looking for a clean slate to get your credit score back up then you’re at the right place. Scam likely. It took a long time to receive the card then when I did I paid the program fee and they said they had reported the card as stolen and issued another so I decided to cancel the account and they said my money would be released back to my bank then I called again because I still didn’t receive my money and they gave me the last 4 of an account that wasn’t mine and insisted someone else must have paid but I had the transaction on my account statement they insisted I wait another day even though the account number was wrong then finally transferred my call then that person said they issued a paper check last week but no other representative had that information so now I’m waiting to receive a paper check it comes off as one big scam I wouldn’t recommend using there services oh and even though I canceled before services began it’s still going to be on my credit report

Horrible. Been with this company for over 10 years. I decided that since I have good credit, and their the only credit cards I have that have a annual fee, I would close my accounts. Michelle was probably the rudest person I’ve had to deal with in customer service. She got rude when she couldn’t talk me into keeping my accounts talking about how my credit will drop so many points. Sweetheart, your company doesn’t have that kind of affect on my credit. Bless your heart for thinking it does. 700k mortgage, 60k in car notes, 30k in student loans, 10k in other credit and you think a $800 and $500 credit line will drop my credit? Cute. Like I said, I’ve been with the company for over 10 years. Always made payments on time. I’d be surprised if this company helped my credit more than 50 points.

Premier Doesn’t Give Confirmation on payment changes. I asked from the first day I received my credit card and several times after that for a payment date change. I don’t get paid on the 1st of the month. No notes were ever put in there system that I ever asked for a different payment date to avoid late charges. They say they record your calls but no one listens to them to verify what you said they just go by notes that aren’t always being taken. Then you get charged a $30 late fee for not paying on time and they then tell you that now they can’t change the date when your over your limit due to the late fee. That’s terrible!!

Worst credit card ever. I got this credit card to help me build my credit but there are so many things wrong with it. Not only does it more than 5 days for your payment to post. The charges are horrible. The monthly fees, annual fees, and the interest rate is really HIGH. Every time I make a payment hoping that I will finish paying off the card, the monthly fees and interest rate make it look like I haven’t done anything. If you have a good credit score, or you want to build your credit score, DO NOT GET THIS CARD!! Because it will take you a lifetime to finish paying it. Worst card EVER!! Fair warning.

No autopay???. App is ok. A little hard to navigate. Not sure why autopay is not an option. Every other card I have, large or small company, has an autopay option. Sometimes I forget to make my payment, which is due on the 1st of the month, untill the 3rd or 4th. This really irritates me as I always have the money to pay this bill and would be ecstatic if I could just set it and forget it. Can’t get rid of the card because that would look bad on my credit. Kinda stuck in a catch 22 here and not happy about it.

Harassment. I have been hospitalized several times in the last 5 months . I have cancer and have been receiving chemotherapy. The number of calls that I received because of a late payment has been ridiculous. I received no less than 75 phone calls from your office . Even though I explained to your associates that I was hospitalized and just received chemo , they didn’t care and kept asking for a payment even after letting them know that I have not worked since January 2023. I am truly disheartened by the behavior of your company and will be glad when I can pay off my bill and close my account because I don’t want to deal with a company that treats their clients this way

My 1st Premier. Premier creditCall it was my very first credit card. I have really enjoyed having it. It was very easy to assess just putting a little money down to enable credit services to view and trust your monthly payments. With just a short period of consecutive one time payments my credit was increased, my score has grown rapidly since I have obtained this credit card. Thank you.

You can do better. The company always says due to high call volume this call will be longer than 5 minutes and I sit for 20 minutes without help. There is no option for auto pay. There are a lot of fees just to have the card. They gave me 2 cards and when my credit when down after a recent surgery they cut my cards off without telling me. My app just said balance 120 out of 700 available credit $0. No warning, no letter, nothing. I am ok with it because I have higher limit cards with out the fees but if you depend on your cards and like to talk to customer service avoid this one.

Too much LAG time Needs Improvement. Frustrates me that when i make a payment sometimes it posts quickly sometimes takes 2 weeks. Others have expressed same problems so just fix it. Why keep known problems from happening. Theres NO reason to take 2 weeks to post a payment other than additional revenue from carrying charges so PLZ fix this.

Finally closed my account. Had the card for years it was one of my first credit cards that helped restore my credit. They charge you for everything trying to milk every damm dime monthly. Monthly fees, yearly fees, and credit line increase fees. So many fees you can’t even enjoy the beauty of having a credit card because each month I’m paying fees for money I don’t use. Instead of giving me more money on my current card they recommend me have another one so I can have two cards with monthly and yearly fees. This is definitely a stepping stone card but I just closed this account today and no looking back!

Not very good with Voiceover. Users utilizing Voiceover cannot enter or select a payment amount as the keyboard and selectable options do not appear while using Voiceover. As soon as I turned off, voiceover and tapped on the amount, the keyboard and options appeared with no issues. This will block screen reader users from being able to submit payment through the app. some elements that should be read as one item are red in individual pieces in a way that doesn’t make sense. The balance on the home screen is a good example. It reads the dollars cents then comes back and reads the dollar sign.

Very upset.. I opened this card after my bankruptcy to rebuild my credit. I was happy in the beginning and used a lot, made payments to keep my balance down , obviously didn’t intended to pay interests. Last week , without any warning, my card was suspended, I call and was told that I needed to send pictures of may bank statements and bank card because they suspected fraud. I did that at once but guess what, my card still closed after almost a week! I paid my balance in full and I have no intention to give them a penny more. I know this will hurt my credit but I will just close this useless card!

New Card Holder Review. Premier Credit sent me an offer to apply for for an unsecured credit card that reports to all 3 major credit reporting agencies and helps build your credit. I have now has the card for two months and so far everything they stated has been true. I am very happy with the customer care and ease in reviewing my transactions and balance due. If you are looking for a chance to raise your credit score and better your life, this is the card to use!

They play games. Once you pay about $200 to access $400 in credit they start playing games. Don’t count on YOUR credit being available when you need it. If you pay by your checking account they hold the payment for up to a month. If you pay by another debit card over the phone they will make up some excuse to freeze your account over and over again making this card so unreliable to be useless. It’s part of their plan to get you to cancel the card. Some will say this will help your credit after a few months. I don’t care about a few months I would like to purchase groceries today.

Credit increase. I’ve had my card for a while now and most recently paid it off along with about 75% of my revolving credit accounts. I requested an in crease in my credit to increase my credit availability % to usage. This will help my credit score increase therefore making me a more credit worthy consumer. I was denied based on not having this card long enough. I believe this to be an inaccurate method. I’ve haven’t missed a payment on this card or any other in over four years and have been a responsible credit user. In this day and age when so many have been effected negatively, the positive however small should be weighed heavier.

Bad Card. stay away from this card first of all this and high-annual fee second once you establish good credit with them they then ask you that you qualify for a second card which you will pay another annual fee on third and the most important is that if you request an increase you will pay 25% of whatever the increases as a bill for them increasing your credit with most credit cards good payments Good track record of being on time with all payments is something that the credit card company reward you with an increase they don’t charge you for it beware

No the best start with the bank but will see.. So my issue is the updating on the app to see how much you spent and where. So you could know how much yo actually pay back and actually see where your money is going. Please upgrade your app or I’ll have to zero my balance and get my 200 dollars back and go with another more advance bank and system.

Payment. This is the hardest card I’ve ever try to make a payment with. I downloaded the app and it says make payment now. And then it wants me to enter my routing number and account number. Nothing simple I don’t have the checking account I had to come home and look all my paperwork up just to make a payment every month. Or go on the website and get charged three dollars and then the payment don’t show up for four more days on to my account and they charge you $25 cause you’re late. Nothing simple at all

So far no complaints. So far so good. I just recently attempted to get this credit/bank card. I didn’t think that I would get it because of my debit to income ratio . However even with my low score I managed to get approved I just had to pay the small fee to be able to access it & get the card. From the time I did everything to the time I got the card was just under a week. So far so good. We shall see how it goes.

Decent for a starter card. It’s a decent card that will help build credit. The downsides are that the app is not user friendly, credit limits are too low for long time users and the fees are ridiculous (yearly, monthly, initial, limit increase, late payment) but fees are expected when you are utilizing a service to build credit. I’ve had 2 accounts with them for almost 4 years (had a 0 balance for over a year, still paying monthly fees) and will soon be closing both of them. If they would offer serious credit limits, I would consider keeping them.

I love using this card, it takes payments early so you have a mount available when you need it sometimes you need a credit card and not the cash so this is a great feature and I love that you can check your balance is on your phoneIn the mobile Also im brand-new to the card and I see that there are a lot of perks and looking forward to using the cash back ones

Not happy at all!. I don’t like the fact that is the only credit card that doesn’t have in the app the option to make payments automatically, all credit cards now in day have auto payment, also the delay when you make a payment to your account is incredible, you have to wait a week sometimes more to see the money reflecting in your account. We are in 2023 and technology is everything. I think you guys need to improve the app service to us the CLIENTS have a better experience.

Amazing Company ❤️. I have been with this wonderful company for a while now and they have been notified but supportive, kind, friendly and every agent I have spoken with has been so cheerful and helpful not to mention full of knowledge. Predatory Lending. Just received a pre-approved credit card offer in the mail. I’d like to warn anyone who is considering using this lender to read the fine print. Their credit card has an annual interest rate of 36% (the highest I’ve ever seen) AND annual fees that add up to $225 a year. Needless to say, I will NOT be falling for this trap. If you’re building your credit, just snag a secured card from Discover. They’ll refund your deposit in six months, convert your card to an unsecured one and up your l credit limit. I am currently paying ZERO annual fees with them, have a 22% interest rate and a credit limit that is four times higher than what First Premier Bank is offering. Absolutely nobody with common sense should be going with this credit option.

Good opportunity gone wrong. It’s great because they give you chance to help build your credit either as a beginner or as person trying to fix their credit. On the other hand no matter how much your credit score increases you get no reward perks, no increase in credit limit annual fee still required no matter how much you improve this card does not grow with your increased credibility it keeps you at a beginner level forever. Would not recommend getting this card if you are interested in progress.

False “Important Notice Minimum Balance Due” stuck on screen. After the last update to the app, there is a pop up that will not go away. No matter what screen you click on, the message pops up. There is no balance due, so the message shouldn’t even show up repeatedly. It’s very annoying. There is an Over-the-limit notice that came after the last update that will not go away. The account is not over the limit & never has been over the limit. It’s been 2 months since the last update. These notices that repeatedly pop up need to be removed asap.

Bad Experience. I got this card to build my credit. I had a credit union account that I was making payments from. For whatever reason the credit union did not allow the payment to go through. I did not know this at first, and paid another way as soon as I discovered the problem. Stupidly on my part, I used the same account to pay with the next month and the same thing happened. Again I immediately paid another way and did not use the CU account anymore to pay from. Because of the 2 payments not going through-even though I explained- they closed my account. I have paid it off and will not give this company my business again

Can’t pay through app since last update. App looks better for sure, feels more fluid in use. My issue is that I’m trying to pay off a rather large balance before 5pm and the app won’t let me. I get the the point where it is asking me to press submit, and the button goes grey for a moment like it registered my touch, but then goes back to its normal color and the screen doesn’t change. I’ve either submitted 5 of the same payments or none at all, at this point I can’t tell and won’t know until it starts coming out of my account in a few days.

Past Midnight 👎🏻. I don’t like the pay one day and wait until midnight for the payment to show on the account. Especially weekends, pay on Saturday then wait until Sunday at midnight for the payment to go through. I think if I pay before midnight on any day, the computer system should be able to run the transaction at midnight the same night. Weekends included.

Incompetency at it’s finest. This companies customer service department is a joke. They would better off just letting the computer voice run everything. I called to report identity/mail box theft and they canceled the card and sent a new one which also got stolen and used. I called them again and they canceled that card and I told them NOT to send another card due to Mail theft. They sent it anyway which was used but the mail thief to add more charges. I called them again and told them to close my account for that card completely. They said they had and it was gone. Now in the App I see another new account. I guess you can’t fix stupid. Next step is legal action!

Absolutely Terrible. Was approved for credit card on 11/9 and was told my card would be here by 11/22 if didn't get it by 11/23 to talk to customer service--lady tells me the card was never shipped bc the processing company is at a delay and no emails weren't sent to new customers and they had found out the week prior. I called back to cancel the account and the team tells me they were just about to send out emails LOL. And that they just found out about it LOL. I don't know about every agent or every department, but the two I encountered were hilariously liars and I hope they get their lie together for the sake of new customers. Or don't...

New customer. I like it so far. I do not how ever understand why it takes the app to update your transactions and balance. I have made 3 smaller purchases each under 40 dollars and only one has shown up. I have not had any other transactions show up at all. So please get your app to update right then and there also should be able to pay balance with a debit card and not the checking account it would allow for better credit building thanks. I’m pleased with the card and it’s functions but the app could be a lot better thank you. Stay Blessed.

Has problems. I used to be able to make custom payments on this app. As soon as they went to this new app I can only pay the minimum amount or the full balance. At least that is how it is on my iPhone. So no the new app is not working for me. So the developer sent me instructions on how to enter in custom amount. I already knew how to put the number in. They said to hit the confirm button. What confirm button? There is not one. I looked all over for a confirm button or a next button. There isn’t one. That’s the problem. I push up down trying to scroll but it does not scroll. Maybe it’s not able to be used with my iPhone.

Dispute Issue. I really appreciated the assistance that I received when I had to file a dispute for a fraudulent charge that appeared on my account. The Agent was quick to cancel the credit card and issue me a new card. She also suggested that I file a dispute with the retailer stating that I would get the refund quicker from them. I followed her instruction. Accordingly, I just received the refund just as quickly as she said I would. I also received the new card in a timely manner.

Too expensive to own!. To whom it may concern, I understand that premier bank card is designed to help people, build or re-establish credit, however, those of us who pay regularly and on time, and cary low balances, should be able to stick with premier bank card, (because in most cases this is our oldest line of credit) and it would hurt our credit score, to leave your bank. But… there should be a way to change the terms, reduce the yearly fee, monthly service charge and possibly lower the interest rates… I appreciate your help in re-establishing my credit, However your card is too expensive to own.

Card and App. The card is great . I love being able to pay instantly and easily through the phone . As for the app . My review is because it works but it logs me out every single time even with my face recognition on my iPhone . When I am logged in I can see my accounts and what not but I hate getting kicked out . I have my passwords at home instead of my phone for security purposes . So sometimes I can’t log in if I am not home because it doesn’t keep me logged in like I ask it to.

Poor customer service. Haven't been able to use the card since I got approved. Every time I call is either my ID. Waited for weeks and call again and now is my proof of address. But they never bother to call me or email me about the issue. But they still keep charging me per month. I uploaded my proof of address a week ago and still nothing. I've had the credit card and been approved since March so is been about 4 months already. Can't use the card but I'm still being charged every month. How can they keep charging me but can't used my credit card.

Was great app until the important notice. I have two cards with the company. I’ve noticed I can’t turn off my cards when I don’t use them anymore. It just tells me I can temporarily lock my card. That’s what I want to do. When I open the app it automatically goes to the IMPORTANT NOTICE message. That’s annoying. I’m not past due nor maxed out of any kind. Give us the option to check mark do not show again message. If you must show it, then why not just once when you open app. Not for both cards under the same account. Weird. Let me lock my cards up please! When this changes I’ll update my review.

They send a advertisement saying I can apply for another card with them although the APR was over 34% it took about three weeks for the car to come in the mail I activated the card less than a week ago today the cardAccount has been closed by Premier saying that I don’t use the card which is going to hurt my credit score after boosting it this situation is mind boggling to me so I did not do anything for those that areCurious that balance was zero and my other card balance was 100 out of 500

First Premiere Bank. This has been a great company especially for building my credit and just in general. Recently I had my wallet stolen and had a whole bunch of charges that weren’t mine and they fixed this within 48 hours and I couldn’t have been happier. They are always there if you have any issues or questions and are extremely friendly! I hope ghost recommend this company

So Far..Everything is Transparent. I paid the program fee and my balance became available as stated. This is a good program to get you going on a better credit road as long as you pay the bill you charge each month. This card and app is sketchy. They will charge you a monthly on top of interest fees, every month. Before this app, there was another app like this for this card, but that old app doesn’t support the card anymore. I had to come here and figure out why nothing was working anymore and I guess this is the latest app. I was very suspicious creating a new account in this app. On top of some times not being able to login with either face recognition or password. Also the card expired July 2022, I couldn’t even use the card a couple of months before the expired month/yr. There is no AutoPay so good luck on our end.

Bad !!!. Paid my 95$ fee , ( all the money I had ) and I couldn’t use it online CVV and expiration date were “incorrect “ told they are having issues talked to 8 people , tried to take money out and was told 30$ is max , which I understand. Then they told me to use it in stores , so I went to the store & then when I went to pay it said “payment failed “ and I called & they said don’t type in the pin , run as credit …. Welll why do why have a pin and it automatically runs as debit lol !!!! I just went to the store again bought 2 drinks 6$ and now my balance says 191$ my balance was 225$ before I bought the drinks !!!! How did I spend $34?!?

My premier. I appreciate it. Premier taking a chance on me you’ve also given me faith that a company will back their customers I had a situation and you all took care of it. I just got a fraud alert and I need to figure out what happened and I appreciate you sending that out to me I am enjoying my premier bank card and look forward to spending many years with the company.

My First Premier Credit Card. I have been with Premier Credit Card for just over a year abcs within that year of making timely payments they have increased my limit on both cards without me calling them! The fees are a little expensive but over all I’m completely satisfied with the whole experience of working with them and it’s helping boost my credit score slowly! Update app. The app is very slow to show recent transactions, and there should be a button where you can lock your credit card at any time. For instance…. I miss placed my card and right now I am unable to lock my card and unable to tell if there have been any transactions. It doesn’t have any of my transactions for the past week posted yet at all

Good app but missing something. Good app due that it’s very helpful tracking credit card payments as well as transactions. Sadly it’s missing something and that something is it needs to add a place to where a customer can put their bank debit card information down in order to make same day payments so payments can be on time. That’ll be very helpful and convenient for customers in the near future.

Long time user. I’ve had my premier credit cards for a very long time. They do not do regular credit increases. I’ve had a card now with them for almost 25 years and it has an $800 credit limit. I’ve also found that if you don’t auto update your app it will automatically shut you out and you have to delete and reinstall. You also cannot schedule automatic payments with them. You have to manually go in and schedule your payment every month. It was a great card to start my credit but it’s very difficult to use
