On the surface this looks like a good app.. I downloaded this app thinking I was downloading an app that as they claim would be a relaxing way to creatively design pottery on my iPad. As someone who throws on a wheel I thought it would be a great way to work out some of my designs. I quickly deleted the app when I discovered not only does this app collect data usage, but there is a social networking aspect that rates your pottery online. Sorry but I’m not looking for instant gratification. Also, the only way to use the app is with an Internet connection. I was hoping to use this when traveling. It is not as it claims to be a relaxing app but more of a controlling social networking looking for approval app. Not what I was looking for.

Not like the old app: not paying VIP to complete quests. I played the first Let’s Create Pottery years ago, and I would be on that app for hours at a time. I hoped that this would be like the old game. Alas, the VIP limits free-to-play options vastly. At the very least give us quests that don’t require the VIP patterns to get the pot acceptable to send off. I’m somewhat stuck on quests and the completionist in me is itching. I don’t have the funds right now to afford VIP. I would be happy with one-time purchase options, even if there is still a VIP system with that. If you like the old app (especially the paid version), stick with that. If you want a few pretty gems and you’re okay to play with getting vastly less, this app doesn’t hurt for free. If you want to throw money at it, hey it’s your money but right now, I think it’s not enough bang for your buck. I’m going to keep it on my device just because I think it has potential. Three stars but I might change my mind if there is an update that makes this app more casual-friendly.

Expensive. If you’re not VIP and paying for the app you are going to have a hard time completing the quest on the free version. You get like maybe 5 colors in the free version, and like 20ish patterns. But beyond that everything else you have to pay for the subscription which is wildly overpriced. The game should honestly be a one time purchase just like the first pottery game. I was excited to see there was a pottery 2 but disappointed to see it’s just another overpriced pay to play game like every other app. The devs commented on this about it being $4 a month for the subscription when the app says it’s $8.99 a month… so just another unfortunate thing, they don’t even know how much their own app cost

I love this game. This game is so fun but as a non VIP player. I think you should give non VIPs a little more than what you are. I understand that you need money I mean we all do but I feel like you are kind of pushing non VIPs to become VIPs. I don’t know why I am saying this. It’s not like you guys read everything we send or you just don’t care because you think you’re game is perfect as a game maker myself I understand that feeling in a way. Overall this is a great game and I look forward to seeing what you might add later. Thanks if you’re reading this.

Good but could be better. I loved the first pottery game and I love this one but I dislike the subscription based service. I really want to use the premium based patterns but I can afford $99 a year. I thought of a cool idea. You could hold challenges (ex: Aztecs, Simple, color schemes, etc) and the top 3 most liked vases receive a specific currency used for premium items. You could also make this currency available for purchase. I don’t know if this is a good idea but I think $99 a year is a lot and I really like some of the premium patterns and items. Update: I’ve been playing for a couple of days and I really wish the help button would be a permanent fix or at least come sooner. I could figure out how to get this vase to 4 stars and I waited and waited until it finally popped up.

Content Access Ends If Subscription Ends. Any VIP content you purchase while you have a subscription will become unusable if your subscription ends. It’s a fun enough little stimming game, but if you actually want to progress through the levels and get new content then it’s not worth playing without VIP. Also, the developers obviously don’t care about non-members based on how they’ve responded to other comments. I even purchased a week subscription and played a lot to get new colors and patterns then once the subscription expired I could no longer use the content I unlocked. That’s either an oversight or intentional but regardless that along with making quests uncompletable without a subscription to get VIP content shows the experience of non-subscribers is unimportant to them despite their claims otherwise.

idreams don't care. Your pricing model for Let's Create Pottery 2 is totally insane! I would like to be a premium member and unlock all the brushes, clays and colors; but I refuse to pay your overpriced subscription rates. You are missing out on so many premium memberships because of your pricing skyscraper. Most of the brushes in LCP2 are directly from the original Let's Create Pottery!!! Brushes I already paid for in brush packages in the original! Today when I went to finish a challenge pot, I noticed that many of my "free" brushes are now not free anymore! This tactic will not cause me to pull out my credit card. You have created a wonderful app, it's just sad it's not more monetarily obtainable. I may be a 'free' member voicing my frustration but believe me there are many more just like me. You are monetarily wrong and greedy. All these bad reviews have one thing in common, the pricing structure frustration and your response is nothing short of smug.

great game!. This game gives me so much nostalgia from when I used to play the original version in art class! however, I believe that the subscription is outrageous! I’m sure a lot of us would be willing to pay one time purchases of the different packs (separate one time purchases for color packs pattern packs etc) but regular people like me do not want to buy a reoccurring subscription for items that you already have to pay in game money for anyways! also it should be a lot easier to gain xp (not based on followers/likes etc) this just adds stress to the game! I will still continue to play this game in my downtime more than likely, but will not be buying a subscription as I believe it is way too much money, especially nowadays. Please consider these comments, as I really do love this game, I just believe these features add stress to the game more than they help the game.

I’m so sad.... For those of you looking for a great app, I highly recommend this. I love this app and I loved LCP1. I was a long-time user and I invested my $100 for the LCP2 subscription. I CAN’T OPEN THE APP. I’ve contacted App Support 3 times without response. This is so frustrating and I know you can do better. I received great support from you previously and in the early days of LCP1 you were very interactive with those of us who were pioneers. Please help me. On another matter, I would have expected some documentation from you confirming the details of my subscription. Aside from not being able to use LCP2, I am concerned that the level achievements are too difficult to reach for the average user. You might lose too many of them due to frustration of being unable to access content. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

C’mon, really?!. Like everyone else who has written a review, this is not about gameplay. Do I think that painting should be more accurate? Yeah. Do I think that some of the quests are ridiculously challenging and that there should be a permanent “help” button to alleviate frustration? Yeah, in fact I’m stuck on one now because I can’t figure out what the friggin pattern is for that eccentric flower pot. But all of that I can put aside because all in all it’s just a fun, artistic, relaxing game. My main complaint is the subscription model. $99 a year? There are MMOs that don’t cost that much. I’ve bought console games that don’t cost as much. And for what? More paint colors and a few more stencils? I understand that y’all need to pay your employees but it’s a ridiculous ask. If you made this game paid and asked for an initial payment of $4.99 or even $9.99 I’d be more willing. If you made it possible to purchase stencils and colors individually by being able to purchase all Chinese or all Aztec related features for a price I’d be more willing. If you made the subscription $1.99 a month I’d be more willing. But to charge more than most streaming services? I think it’s ridiculous. And while I kindly await my copy and paste response of “we do not ask for you to purchase a subscription, you can play the free version” may I just say - the customer isn’t always right, but this is the time to listen to us.

Oof. I’m torn.. This is a beautifully made, fantastically crafted app, and even at the free level you get a ton of options. Even the ads aren't too invasive. Many other commenters have said; the “VIP” subscription might be the goofiest most overpriced thing I’ve ever seen. I would NEVER pay for it as much as I love messing with this app! A majority of the colors are locked behind the paywall, and if you grinded during your free trial and bought things under VIP, you can’t access them when the trial ends. Ive worked in ads and game design for ios, and I gotta say, that *and* the pottery limit hasnt even made me consider buying VIP. It just makes me want to stop using the app at all. Please retool for a better system that the insane (8$ a WEEK?!) subscription! I’m someone who really really thinks this is a developer with huge promise and skill, but that alone stinks. 🥺 I genuinely would love to rate 5 stars.

Played all night, progress gone. Saw there was a new version to this app I used to love playing, had a lot of fun creating some pottery for a few hours. Signed in with apple, got to level 4, after closing the app and reopening a few hours later, something went wrong and I was signed out. Even after signing back in, it didn't put me back on my original profile. Then uninstalling/reinstalling to try and prompt it to sign back in didn't work either, it was even more wiped fresh! Guess I'm not even going to bother with this subscription. It's pretty expensive anyway, and now I find no value in it, especially since I can still play the old version with most of the same features for free if I wanted to. Disappointed, was hoping to enjoy this much more but probably won't even bother coming back to it after this data loss

I want to love the game, but.... I feel like I am stuck in endless grind to get to the next level. How can the quests to move up go from Get $1000 on a pot to $2000 straight to $5000!?! Get 10,000 likes. Now get 50,000!?! I was stuck on level 7 for weeks, now I'm stuck in level 8. I am getting bored trying to get to the next level. It would be loads better to make the levels marginally more attainable even if you get less unlocked when you get there. I don't know if it's worth it anymore to stick around to work to the next level. To top it off now the game keeps crashing on me especially doing the challenge pots.

pretty good game, background audio messes with my eara. the game is fun. I could talk about the 100$ a year fee for premium, or the difficulty of some pottery challenges, but my main problem is the background audio. mixed in with the soothing birdsongs is this odd arrhythmic deep sound that made me think i had some special form of tinnitus. i changed the volume on my headphones, it has to be the games audio. it really feels like my ears have a problem whenever it happens. why in the world is that there?

So disappointed. The Developer keeps saying $4/Month on many of the reviews. It’s not!! I was charged $4/week!! I have Xbox and PlayStation games that don’t charge that much for access to years with if DLC and subscriptions. I really enjoy this game, but it’s absolutely insane how expensive it is for access to content. I was willing to pay up to a point, but then losing access to everything premium I already purchased when I decided to cancel is the last straw. Now I can’t even complete quests because the patterns require premium stencils. It’s beautiful and engaging, but too expensive as well as an excessive point system for leveling up - much of which relies on being connected to social media and gaining likes/followers. Not worth it in the end.

Relaxing & Satisfying. The premise is simple and gameplay is enjoyable. The user interface and controls are friendly and do not detract from the intention of the game. It is really nice that you can create and ‘sell’ your work in order to purchase more in-game content such as paint colors and patterns. This is refreshing because the devs aren’t jamming in-game purchases down your throat. Ads are somewhat frequent but are timed so that they do not disrupt the enjoyable experience. You’ll probably enjoy playing on a larger screen such as an ipad, but I’m using a standard iphone 14 and the screen is sufficient. Great job devs.

Unplayable after a certain point. I, like many others, enjoys the game at first. It was relaxing. However, as the game continued, there were more flaws that I noticed. For example, extremely difficult to level up to get more patterns. One of the achievements is getting 100 likes on a single pot. That gives only 10 xp, which is ridiculous. And then there are the quests. The current daily quest and the normal quest both require vip patterns. While the daily quest can be reset and it’ll be different tomorrow, that’s not an excuse to alienate the people who don’t can’t/don’t want to pay. Not to mention that I saw a review from a YEAR ago on the same level I’m stuck on (62) being frustrated that they were unable to continue doing quests without paying for the vip membership. You responded. All you said was “Yeah that happens sometimes.” You didn’t do a single thing about it! Why should the average player be forced to pay for a membership just to continue with normal quest??? It’s unfair for us to deal with this kind of service just fo you guys to get just a tad more money.

Update to store taking AWAY already purchased stencils and clays?!😡. I love this pottery app and was thrilled to see the creation of version 2. Even though I totally agree with other reviews that the VIP version is ridiculously expensive I was happy that some new features stencils , clays etc were offered at the free level and worked diligently to acquire all the available options. Was very upset to click on to the app the other day and find that the store had been updated and MOST of the new features I had earned were now switched over to the VIP version and access taken away from the free users. How can they tak away what you’ve already earned. Crushing. This makes the free significantly more boring and the VIP version still too expensive so I’ve lost one of my favorite pastitmes😢

This game. It is fun lots of people can play you can let anybody on the game see your work and they can like leave comments and even follow you and if you get Sandman followers you can get prizes and for other things you can also get prizes like likes how much you sell them for and all these crazy things in this amazing game and you can play with your friends and you can do I do competitions with my friends and it is crazy fun and you should get it.

Too many ads. I don’t mind paying to support developers, it’s important that people be paid for their work and I’m fine with that. But the only way to turn off ads is a subscription and the subscription prices are outrageously high. I wouldn’t mind sitting through ads if they didn’t pop up so freaking often. It’s also a bad sign when so many reviews are complaining about the price of subscriptions and the developer response ignores that concern entirely and instead says to contact them with gameplay issues. The problem isn’t gameplay. The problem is how much you feel your time is worth compared with how much people are willing/able to pay.

Good game, too expensive. I loved the first game, I have been playing it for years! I like the options for accessories for the pots in the second game. I agree with some of the other comments about the subscription being too expensive, though. One of my favorite parts about the original is that there weren’t in app purchases. I understand the need for them and I would probably get a subscription if it were cheaper. I don’t want to drop a hundred dollars on a year long subscription, and the other options are also too much for me to pay. Even if you kept the subscription price, could you open up a few more color options for us? The first version had pink and purple, but now I have to get a subscription to access them. Or maybe make colors cost a dollar individually? Other than the pricing it’s a great game!

What happened?. This game is awesome although the first was definitely better... what happened to the lids, and vases with the holes in the center? Also the VIP subscription is not worth anything. There’s no insensitive to even be a VIP because it just allows more ppl to see your published vases. I also expected this to have more design option than the first did but so far it’s all the same stuff. Yes you added more color options but those were easy enough to make yourself in the previous game. Hopefully you read my comment and add lids again though id love to see those back in the game.

Best game ever.... I just started playing this game today and it’s so relaxing and fun I’m already on quest 23 and I’m enjoying it so much! It’s awesome looking at other creations that other users make and it cool how you can move your phone around to have a perspective view. Two more things I was playing the pottery 1 and I saw the ad so I downloaded it and it’s 20x better. Last thing in pottery 1 I had the subscription or the VIP for instance so I thing if you had the VIP in the pottery 1 you should get some exclusive item like a pattern or a lot of coins. That’s just my idea but other than that this game is great.

Very Fun Pottery App. I really enjoy this app, and find making pottery very relaxing. It is expensive, but I find it worth it. My concern is there have been NO NEW PATTERNS, COLORS or CLAY since I joined two years ago. “AR” was updated, but I can’t even tell what that is. Please, DEVELOPERS, add glitter colors, new PATTERNS, the color white, and have the monthly patterns available year long. Come up with new weekly and monthly challenges, rotate your “Editors Choice” potters, and provide us with new “Extra’s.” Rebuild the excitement in all of us! Thanks for listening and for your consideration. The faithful are getting restless.

Quests unplayable to non-members. I really do like this game. It’s very relaxing. While I do think that non members are at a total disadvantage and the membership should be less expensive, my main problem is the quests. I am currently stuck on quest 62 because one of the brushed required to complete the quest is unavailable to non members. I understand that the developers have to make money somehow so charging for a membership is a valid solution(with more reasonable priced obviously ie. 3.99 each month). Where I draw the line is the fact that non-members can’t complete some quests. The quests should not require a player to be a member to complete. It makes me angry that I am unable to progress through the quests unless I pay 3.99 a week. Sometimes even the daily quests are unplayable because they include a vip brush. What I would recommend doing is making all daily quests and gameplay quests playable to non-members and then having an set of vip quests that use vip brushes and are only playable by vips. Until this change is made and I am able to ACTUALLY play through all the quests, I’m unfortunately going to be taking a break from this game.

Ruined. The original title had so much class, it was actually a fun story! The thing you always hoped for was a little more flexibility and control. Those are exactly what this new version should have given us, and maybe it does, but due to the storyline being non existent and because of the overly AGGRESSIVE monetization, I doubt I will ever find out! A version of this app has lived on iPhones and iPads in our house for many many years and my son has grown up loving it. Too bad that when I look into how they might have updated it, I find this mess. None of the charm and 1000% more advertisements and in your face attempts to get you to sign up for a subscription! I mean who is buying these subscriptions? Yikes!

So much potential.. The game was great the first few weeks I played it. Then I decided to try premium and everything went bad. I reached level 84 and made a pot that matched the quest perfectly, but it only gave me two stars. I contacted them and they instructed me how to complete the level and told me what patterns to use, and as I expected, what I originally had was 100% correct. I sent screenshots and everything. However, the game was glitched and would not let me progress. I decided not to continue the premium and asked if they could reset the quest and they told me no. You would think they would acknowledge the fact that my pot was an exact match, but they didnt and told me they were “sorry.” And I couldnt possibly get passed this glitch without premium since the pattern used was a VIP only pattern. I had no choice but to delete the game, which is a complete shame.

Climbing new levels and not receiving any new items. I enjoy playing this game, but as I’ve reached newer levels, I actually have become more anxious and frustrated because I expect to see new patterns, colors, clays or extras (handles, lids or decor) but I get nothing. I’m not a VIP but when I reached levels 4 and 5, I saw new colors I could get. Level 6 gave me some new patterns. I reached level 7 and saw nothing new, so I’ve played a lot to reach level 8— I just got to level 8 today and…..surprise—-NOTHING NEW FOR ME. I see so many people at my level with patterns that don’t seem to be available to me. They aren’t VIP’s either. I get so excited about getting to a new level and having some added elements to play with and showcase…but then I get disappointed and irritated that there’s nothing to show for my accomplishment at reaching a new level. When I look at the patterns in shopping, there’s a handful of new items that read “L6” or “L7”… I think when I reach that level, those are the patterns I’m going to be able to purchase. But when I get to a new level, those patterns are named with a new level number. It’s difficult enough to reach new levels; the goals set in front of you are wildly unrealistic (i.e., getting 50,000 likes)… the developers seem to cater to VIP players, but getting rewarded with new elements should occur at the entry of each new level, regardless of whether you’re a VIP or not.

Great but one issue. The app is amazing I love the game it is relaxing calming and overall a great experience my only issue is logging in with apple I can use facebook and google but want to use apple because they haven’t had issues like the others have in the past but when I click sign in it just doesn’t do anything and it is very frustrating because it is the only option that doesn’t work please fix this thank you

Daily quest, Level 62. For all my non VIPs on this app, yes the daily level 62 is unbeatable for us. You need a VIP brush in order to complete it, which is unfortunate. I’ve played this game off and on since i was in middle school and I’m now 21 years old, so it’s been awhile. I really do like the relaxing game itself, but i do wish at LEAST the daily challenges where for available for us non VIPs. I would love to see all the possibilities with the patterns i have available to me, cause i can’t always make them up on my own without being shown them first. But i say, and I’m sure a lot of people using this app would agree; that daily levels should be for everyone! Otherwise it’s hard to continue WANTING to play this app. And I’m sure you want people to play it. I’m not gonna pay 100$ for some virtual clay, when i could quite literally buy a cheep pottery wheel for that much to do in real life. The prices are the craziest thing if seen on any app to be brutally honest. But that’s all i have for this, i hope the people struggling on level 62 find this and find the answer there looking for. It’s in bearable for non VIPs, I’m sorry :(

Great and yet…. You can’t complete quests without the full subscription because you can’t get 4* on patterns. 🤷‍♀️ Leveling up becomes impossible after a point without paying money. I could cope with limited colors—I can put in the work to mimic the pretty USD colors—but the patterns make it frustrating as heck. If it were a one-time payment, I would say it was worth it. But a freaking subscription? At THOSE prices? Yes, paying artists is important, but what if *we* could design patterns with the caveat that you could use them or something? Just frustrating. Also… One of the challenges was weird as heck. It prompted a particular culture, but when I actually googled that culture, it turned out they have no history/tradition of pottery art… How am I supposed to make pottery inspired by that? @_@ To get 5*, either: 1. Change quests to be doable for free 2. Allow us to make our own patterns to pass quests with enough work 3. Change the level up requirements 4. Introduce a one-time purchase option that gets you everything. It doesn’t sound like education does this…

Sad to rate this. I really loved the first pottery game and I even bought the upgraded version. But this.... this is disappointing. Not only to find out how limited the free version is, but how expensive and over priced the subscription is. If it was a reasonable price for the app or a subscription I would gladly pay it because this is a fun relaxing game, but no developers, it is not worth $100 a year and all their responses to the reviews on here are insulting. I would have kept my mouth shut about it but I just updated and a lot of the features I already earned I can no longer use in the free version. Some of my favorite and most used stencils are now are only for subscription, and expensive clay it took a while to save up and buy I can no longer use. Luckily they left the handful of paint options alone, and I would have been playing a lot more in the first place if there were some decent paint options for the free version. I just don’t understand how making this so expensive so only a select few can afford it makes more money than making this a decent price many people would be will to pay for. Please don’t respond to this with more of the same “no it’s not too expensive” excuses, I’ve already read them all and none of them justify it.

Levels are dumb. I paid the $99 to "get full access" to all of the colors, patterns, and clay colors. I assumed that paying basically ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR AN APP that I would actually get all of the colors and patterns right away. Nope, you still have to earn enough coins to "buy" them in the app. Ok, fine. But then to find out that you have to get all of these stupid points to level up is incredibly frustrating. There really isn't any way to get enough points to level up without having to get likes and followers which is annoying. I just wanted a calming activity to distract me from doomscrollong other social media apps. I don't want to have to worry about how many likes or followers I have. I hate that. I'm only on level 6, and it feels like it's so far off to get to 7. I can't imagine what other hoops I'll have to jump to to get to 8 and 9. I'm going to keep at it, because I paid $99 for it and I want my moneys worth. It just seems misleading to say that buying it gets you access to everything. Please don't force us into the social aspect of this. I just want to calmly make pots without having to worry about whether others like them or not! We nearly made it through this crappy 2020, just give us a break here and make this app truly relaxing and not competitive. Seriously. $99. For an app. That you don't even get access to. Can you tell I'm frustrated?

Nice game, but bug. I started playing this game yesterday after a friend recommended it to me. I have been enjoying it, but I tried opening to today and all that appears is a blank grey screen. I have refreshed, deleted, and reinstalled the game several times to try and fix this, but nothing changes. If this helps, after I was finished playing the game for the day yesterday, I left the unfinished pot on the screen while leaving the app without pausing or cancelling the quest or anything. I left it like that all night and that was about 8 hours. I hope it isn’t the app that caused this glitch, but I have a strong wifi signal and a brand new iPad and I’m not sure what’s wrong with it.

A subscription model? Really?. I’m not particularly mad, just genuinely disappointed. Games do not belong on subscription purchase/payment models. I played the first edition of this game nearly a decade ago and recommend it to countless friends. The decision to move to a monthly fee for this new release strikes me as a deeply disheartening instance of corporate greed. With an appropriate single charge purchase price upfront, I cannot see how this game couldn’t be profitable. The thousands of new games and apps marketing themselves as ongoing services rather than discrete products is bleeding consumers dry. I understand I’ll likely receive a reply (if any) to the effect of “we’re sorry you aren’t satisfied with our game/application. We would like to reach out to you/offer to put you in touch with a member of our product satisfaction department if you have a moment. Thank you for your input and review.” I’m really getting tired of it. I just wish more consideration went into the ethics of pricing models, and toll on customers’ wallets.

Just Somebody. This game is awesome but...it could be superb. How? Just a few suggestions and Thanks, for the new additions to the game, however, it would be super cool if we could rotate the brushes and extras, change the colors on them and if we could have more brushes and more different extras, especially if we could change the color to go with our potteries. I, also, wish that we could shape the clay in more different ways. I love love love the game but I must admit I’d love it a little more with these extra perks. To me it’s the best pottery app I’ve seen but it could be the greatest. Awesome game app, though. 👍👍👍 Still need to make this a more awesome game app. I also feel that as a game that’s suppose to be relaxing perhaps you should rid the app of having to level up because of the many likes it may get. Players should just be able to like because they simply like the potter’s pots. Everyone should be entitled to all brushes and whatever else. When you make a relaxing game, make just that and not one of competition, where it would be more appreciated in my opinion, than one they’re constantly having to compete for to level up.

Good game, premium membership is whack. This game is infinitely better than the first Let’s Create Pottery in a lot of ways. There’s way more quests, a better public forum, and way more design options (colors, brushes, extras and clays). That being said, the premium feature is pretty seriously flawed. Most of those extra designs and colors require a premium membership to purchase, which is disappointing on its own. I was even more disheartened when I decided not to continue premium after my free trial ended; it turns out, any premium colors and brushes you buy while your membership is active, you can no longer use it your membership expires. This is kind of ridiculous to me. If I bought the designs and colors in question, that should be it; I should be able to continue using those. That being said, I understand they need to make money; it just seems like it could be a little more reasonable. I will say, all of the regular quests use only non-premium designs and basic colors that can be blended, so you can continue those pretty endlessly.

Format, Graphics, Saving, Etc.. • Format The format of the game was pretty simple and it did not take me long to be able to easily understand where everything was. • Graphics The graphics of the game are really good, I wouldn’t often experience lag or freezing because of loss of internet problem; which would not be a game issue. But, the 360 view of your’s and other’s pottery was very smooth. • Saving The only main problem I had was that a lot of the time I would loose a piece of pottery because it wouldn’t save or stay saved. A prime example of this is if my device ran out of battery, I would return into the app, and even if I had saved the pottery I was in progress of, it would still not be saved. • Etc. Besides that issue, the game itself it unbelievably amazing, it’s relaxing and allows a person’s creativity to thrive somewhere with such a nice community.

Returning Player, Horrified at What I’m Seeing. So I’ve played this game for years on and off. It’s always been a game I’d redownload for a few months whenever I wanted a good relaxing app. When I first got this game all those years ago, this was the paid premium version of a free app. It was something like three dollars, which was entirely reasonable for the amount of content provided. This most recent time I downloaded the app was because I found myself disillusioned with how ad-ridden, freemium, and subscription-based all my other favorite games had become. Imagine my horror when I find my favorite pottery app has fallen to the same fate. Now, it’s pointlessly a social media site - which is the opposite of relaxing - the majority of the content is now locked behind a prohibitively expensive subscription service, and all of the charm of the old game, like getting quests through fun “emails” and the old auction house, have been streamlined into something utterly boring. This game has turned into something beyond disappointing. Utterly shameful.

Fun, but can be frustrating. This app is really fun and enjoyable, even without premium. I do have a few problems though, like how it is way too hard to level up If you don’t do social media (remember that there are children playing). The ads aren’t that bad thankfully (no inappropriate content). The quests are very frustrating and I can’t figure out how to get help! It’s really annoying. Also I made a trash pot for fun and it sold for 374$!!! Annoying as well. You need internet to login, but there are ways around it afterwards😏. This app is really cool, but once again developers, IT IS WAAY TOO HARD TO LEVEL UP IF U DONT HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA!!!

So Disappointed in this company. I have been playing for nearly 3 years I also have a subscription but if I don’t have Thousand of “ Friends “ I can not get all the decorations because I don’t have enough likes on a single pot . I have played the first Pottery and loved it . I am a Senior and don’t want to have thousands of followers ,when it takes to much time just to go to the “Friends” I do have . I love the pottery 2 , but it is not as good as it could be . Why not have everybody have whatever pattern is coming out . Why not have a fair way for everyone, the jung and the old

Frustrating. I love the program, and have been playing since the first pottery app came out, though this pottery app, while more fun with seemingly unending quests, has much more limitations. As many have mentioned in their reviews, the subscription adds up quite quickly. Though what I find most frustrating was that in one of the updates many of the brushes I had already purchased changed to only allow VIP to use them. This was done without warning, and no reimbursement. Heck, even if they made it so I had to pay a one time fee to regain use of those brushes I would be okay. This however is not an option. Furthermore, I have now reached a quest where in order to receive the necessary stars to submit, I need some of the brushes that are no longer available for my use. I love the concept of this app, but am simply disappointed in how it has been handled.

Flop. Like many others I loved the first one. Something randomly reminded me of this game and I came to download it again, and decided to try this second version. I’m already back on the old app. Which is a bit annoying after using this one, but you can’t do anything w the limited colors and patterns here. I can’t believe how expensive it is. I thought I would pay for a week and buy all the patterns and stop paying, but you can’t even do that. I find the social aspect annoying as well, it’s fine but to need a certain amount of likes and followers to level up, to get more content, that is already sparse, is so ridiculous. Maybe they’ll try again and update this app.

First is better for price. I fought with myself about buying the (inappropriately expensive) subscription because I loved the first game so much. Reading the developers’ responses to people complaining about the subscription prices is disheartening. They keep responding that there is a lot of free content and that you can play the game just fine without paying by watching ads. They don’t address the fact that it is a commercial (sometimes as long as 2 minutes) before being able to use a particular brush, pattern, etc. If it was one ad per, say, 5 uses, that might be okay. If the subscription was lower it’d be okay. But this developer has fallen into the inky waters of greed. Yeah, I buckled and got a subscription, but I’m not happy about it and I’m truly sorry for those who want one but can’t afford it. This is meant to be a calming, creative game but it’s absolutely tainted with ‘pay to play’ mud.

Too expensive. I love this game. But not enough to pay $6 per week, $15 per month, or $100 per year to get all but the most basic colors and designs. I think if you reduce the subscription price you will make more money by having a larger subscription base. Or you could offer the ability for us to buy packs like you did in the original version.... oh wait, the whole reason you created the new version was to leverage more money from your player base though. Thankfully I still have the original version installed on my phone so maybe I’ll just have to stay with that seeing as the game mechanics are otherwise identical. 🤷‍♂️

Most things I worked for are now VIP??. I am very disappointed in your awesome app. I worked very hard to get to level 5 and I do not make enough money to pay for an app. Yet your buyable with coins patterns and colors were wonderful and I was able to do quite a bit including the daily quests. If I had gotten a job that would allow me to pay for apps, yours was on the top of my list. However...Last week, I went to do the daily quest and found my favorite Japanese pattern was now marked VIP though I had bought it. I was hoping it was a fluke, but today I found a third of my patterns I had leveled and earned coins to buy them has been turned VIP only, and I can’t complete the daily quest. I suppose there is enough to do a simple vase, but having already bought so many things still in my inventory only to not be able to use them is distressing so I have deleted the app. :( I loved it while it lasted, but that was in my opinion a dirty trick as we had already bought the items.

I’ll stick to the first game, thanks!. After reading a few reviews, I figured I’d try this game out and just be satisfied with the free version. I have greatly enjoyed the first game version of Pottery which I bought the premium version of, and was looking forward to enjoying a more enhanced experience for a game I find relaxing. Forget it! There isn’t any free version of Pottery 2, the first thing you get asked is to sign up for a subscription service of four dollars a month, after a week long free trial. Excuse me, what?? I’m extremely saddened by their paywall block, because I was more than happy to make purchases of brushes, fancy patterns or colors, and etc like I did in the first game to support the devs - but to be required to pay for this game every month just for the privilege to even play it? I am assuming this means the first game won’t be getting any more attention in updates or bug fixes now that they have something to make much more money off of. I’m not a fan of games you could invest a lot of your time and money into, only to have it all removed because you can no longer afford even a small subscription cost in a hard financial time. This stress relief game would then only ADD to someone’s stress. Forget it. If it was a one time purchase, sure. I’ll stick to the buggy first version of Pottery.

This game one does a disservice to the first one. I had the first version of this game and absolutely loved it. I have been playing it ever since it came out. This version is not as good. They are both so relaxing and make a little world that your immersed in but the first one is better at that. They are well made games except this version couldn’t live up to the first one. In the first one when your buying paints you can still see your pottery table and when your selling your pottery it feels real. In the second one everything is with a white background which feels less real and looks cheaper. The entire second game feels cheaper. The second game was supposed to be more realistic but instead it’s a huge downgrade from the first one, please change this creators!!

Love it! But I have a few suggestions. I really love this game I started with the first one and this one is almost there it just needs a little boost. To make it as relaxing as the first on I’d recommend make it the backgrounds more like the first one. I found this feature in the first one really pleasant and relaxing. Another thing is that the bidding isn’t as realistic as in the first one. It made exciting to hear the people talking and the gavel hitting the table. I have discovered a bug as well, I’m not sure that this applies to everyone but whenever I finish a quest and take the coins for it the whole app freezes. It won’t let me click on anything to where I have to reopen the app. After all my suggestions I’d like to state that I absolutely love this app!!!! It’s fun and relaxing but these are a few things that might make it better.

Love it, just a few problems. I love this app. It’s fun to create pretend pottery with different shapes and colors. It would be nice to be able to rotate the brushes though. Also, with the other Pottery app I had all of the brushes and e teas, why can’t you make it possible to restore those to this new game?? One problem that I’ve had is the picture of the Quest Pot is still small when I zoom. Possibly make it a little bigger?? Another problem that just came up, (I sent an email to support) I was on one of the Quests, just happen to be a 500 one. Before firing, getting the shape just right, the width stars quit. No matter which size I made it, and I tried it all, no stars. The “help” hasn’t shown up. I noticed that it’s getting to be a longer wait for sizing and not so long for paint and brushes. Obviously I can’t finish this Quest and there’s no where to delete. It’s fun to play with despite the problems. Thank you!

Very Cool Game. It’s nice to just sit back and actually use your kind to create things instead of other mindless games. You can create your own special designs and it’s just really fun!

It’s cool (got some problems though). The game is cool and all but the controls kinda suck.

“Free” to Play. If you’re just looking for a week of gameplay, this game would be fine. But anything after that is excessively paywalled- unskippable quests required for levelling up that can’t be completed without paying. There are the daily quests, but good luck finding any that you can complete without (you guessed it) paying for the privilege. With the choice between an excessively high subscription fee that the game doesn’t deserve or a complete standstill in progress, this game isn’t worth playing in its current state.

OMG. Such a good game. Really relaxing and not to much adds so very good 🤩

Hideously expensive to subscribe. Stay away!. Tranquility? Nope. Calmness? Nope. Stress free? Nope. I can’t believe that you game creators haven’t worked out yet that you’d be making a ‘beep’- load more money if subscription wasn’t required to enjoy this game. Omg. You are ruling yourselves out of the market. Dumb move. Hey review readers…Don’t bother downloading this game! Waaaayyyyyy too expensive because you have to subscribe to get 90% of the content. I spend money on plenty of other games to get extra content but I will never subscribe to this. You game creators have made a huge percentage of the ‘extras’ unreachable so 1 star from me. It would be ZERO if that was possible, but reluctantly I have to give you 1. Big thumbs down.

Help me!. So I was plYing and I completed a pot and went to claim it so every time I try to claim it the app glitches out. I M on an iphone 11! Please help!

Way too expensive. Dear developers, Please stop subscription baiting. 9.5$/week is an irrational amount to charge for a mediocre app. Just letting you know that I am reporting you to the Australian Federal police for scam.

Pay to Win. That’s all. Publishers, you should be ashamed of yourselves. For those not in the know, you physically CANNOT progress past Quest 62 without paying for certain decorations. What sort of a barely-concealed quick money-making scheme is this? What sort of game calls itself “free” when the player is barred from completing it by microtransactions? You already put PLENTY of patterns, glazes, colours and other features behind a paywall. That is understandable. But to suddenly without warning put a permanent stop to a user’s ability to progress in one of the game’s two prominent modes is simply inexcusable. At least have the decency to let us experience the BASIC quests till the end. Don’t get me wrong, this was a WONDERFUL game. I spent hours in it, nourishing my creativity and problem solving skills. But I will be deleting it. Best of luck being more considerate to your players next time, publishers. I hope the lack of a permanent loyal user base is worth whatever meagre revenue you gain instead.

Solid game. Ahh the nostalgia good game hopefully more gets added for free to play players

I really wanted to play this. I was looking forward to playing this until I opened the app. Unlike 90% of the population I play on a tablet for all my games & portrait mode loses my attention in less than 5 secs. Please allow landscape play.

Quests. I have now written quite a few reviews about this issue. It is IMPOSSIBLE to complete some of the quests. I am currently stuck on quest 54, the Buffalo’s milk pot. It is not possible to complete the quest without the 2 patterns needed for it (they are VIP items that used to be available to players for free). I understand that there is a wide variety of patterns and colours to use, but you need to either adjust the availability of patterns and colours or change the quests so people who can’t afford VIP can have some basic gameplay available.

Greed. You have to be delusional to think people are going to pay $100 a year for a pottery game that also freezes ever 5min. It’s sad to see you go the way of EA

Subscription…..No. Loved the original, but how developers are asking for subscriptions on a weekly basis is robbery. I’d pay $25 up front for this app but I will not pay nearly $8 a week for something I may dabble in every now and then. Game developers need to change their attitude and give up on the subscription method after my freebie finishes the app is being deleted, which is a shame as it’s is good fun. Get your act together developers and stop trying to rip-off your customers.

T. Do not play this app because it’s bad game

This game is rubbish. I start to play this game until they make everything work only with vip and you must purchase a subscription to see all tools and the colours. scamers every where . i stop to playing the game

Freezing. Maybe it’s just me or my phone, but after every challenge the game would just straight up freeze and I’d have to relog. Deleted after about 10 minutes, kinda disappointing ngl.

Good but I found a glitch. Good but I found this glitch I had 20 likes yesterday but today I Have 0 likes Is this A glitch? But I love this app it is a good app because you can make art 5 stars update would be cool #1 a tab where you can vote and buy other people‘s pottery #2 A decoration what you can cut a hole for your pottery

Disappointed. I love the game however I am no longer going to play. Your subscription of $24.99 a month is very expensive and unreasonable. And at this price I am no longer able to complete the quests, my favourite part of the game.

Ads. The game is great for creative people like me.It helps me relax after school. Great fun But I like ad free games.Four stars!!!

Crashing?. It was really good and I only experienced few freezes and crashes. But now, I can’t even open the app...

Great design game… but…. I love playing this game. I got my partner to download and we are always comparing pots and designs and currently have our own little competition to beat a highscore of the highest selling pot. Only issue I find is when certain quests come through, it would be nice to see a 3D version also with the photo cause some designs are hard to see from a small photo. And I’d like a feature to start a new pot without loosing progress on a pot you’re working on. There’s certain designs and additions I cannot afford without having to design a new pot to sell in order to get the funds. So an addition of a “save for later” feature would be nice

Awsome app. Love the creative skill required to make such magnificent pots I just wish it was all free, i dont want to have to spend money on a game that should be free

I wish you could play offline. The game is good but I wanna be able to play offline!

Yeah na. Really fun to make mut destroyers

Graphics are great, but game is now broken.. This game, by being moved to a subscription format, is now broken. I cannot complete requests because either I am not using the right colour, or there's a pattern I can't unlock. The old game had one-time payments to unlock more content. This game hides needed content by *exorbitant* subscription prices. 100USD a year. 8 bucks a week. 20 dollars a month. That is more than I pay for an entire suite of Adobe apps, for instance. It breaks my heart to give this review because I have spent hours and hours on the original game. I don't mind paying money to support the developer, but this price and the broken functionality kills the game for me.

Latest Update: disappointed. The latest update has just lost me as a user. Requires iOS13 and now doesn’t work on my iPad Mini with iOS 12.... Would be good to continue using without updating but will now not load as it asks to update. Disappointed.....

Pottery. You did a super amazing job that was my childhood game from a long time

I like this game a lot. This game is great! It reminds me of the older versions i used to play but generally better at everything. I just wish that the quests still had the little emails like they used to rather than just giving you a quest, it makes it feel more liek and actual commision. Other than that this game is perfect

Live auctions. I love his game but I think there should be an option to sell your pottery at a live auction we’re real people can try and buy the right to own the piece which they can sell again, this should be different from just selling your piece though but I love this game it’s really relaxing but levelling up is hard but anyway love the game

Impossible to complete quests. Hello developers. I love this game. It is incredibly calming and I can just numb my mind and copy pots! But recently as I have been reaching the higher quest levels, they appear to be impossible to complete because they require VIP brushes to be completed. The best I can get is 3 stars for the patterns. I have tried every free pattern available but none of them fit. I know that many of your players are also having this issue. Please fix this. I really enjoy this game and the quests are the best part. I would hate to be unable to progress the game due to a pay to win wall.

😡🤬 😡🤬 NOT HAPPY. 🤬😡🤬😡 I just updated your app on my phone & I can no longer use Prints paints etc that I bought prior to the update!!!!

8 Dollars a WEEK?. I thought this game was a blessing a realistic pottery game with a few ads but then I got to level three within a day of downloading the game and found if I wanted to paint my pots with pastels or other INTRESTING colours I would have to pay 8 DOLLARS EVERY WEEK, maybe 8 dollars a MONTH I could deal with but a WEEK? Congratulations Devs you made a good gaming experience for me for a DAY.

PAYY TO PLAYYYYYYY😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. U gotta be joking. Lcp1 was great one time payment, but subscription based payment.. YUCK YUCK YUCK very disssapointing and big step down in satisfaction🤢😡!!!!

Disappointed. I adored the original, and was very excited to see there was a second game released. However, the changes to the game are minimal. Furthermore, the price for full access is outrageous. Do you expect people to pay more for a pottery app than they pay for Netflix?

Bit buggy with quests. Love the game, unfortunately I’ve run into a bug where no matter how correct the colour is for quest #61, I can’t progress past 3 stars for the colour. Can still enjoy the create side, just frustrating that I can’t progress my level until passing more quests.

🥸🥸🥸. Oh my god what a game fortnite is so good I would recommend

Alittle let down. Was super stoked to see LCP2 then to find out, if you want to get the good items you need to sub Instead of unlocking by leveling up. Yeah you can earn some things but idk just feels like it’s following the other apps of pay to play

Too expensive. Unless you can afford a subscription, then don’t bother.

App review. This app is really good if your mind is full of creativity

Rating. Hello, this application is so well structured and also very entertaining when it comes to painting the pot. It’s awesome. Thanks

Can’t afford pay to play. Loved the original game and bought it Like this one but just can not afford pay to play With the world as it is and my work stopping altogether I wish you would reconsider your pricing and allow a 1 time payment option like before (If you add this I will change my review) Also please add landscape mode for playing

$8aud a week? Lmao. Hmm tough call, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Apple TV with enough change left for a coffee, or a game where you touch a screen to pretend to push a tube of clay to make it a different shape? Hey, Rings of Power just dropped a new episode byyeee.

Honest review! - pottery 2. I’ve played this game for around 6 hours in total, and I love it. The creativity and calmness of the game are perfectly in baclance, so the game is super fun but a nice relaxing game aswell. The graphics are amazing and beautiful, along with the sound tracks. The part where the pots are being ‘burned’ is really satisfying and a nice campfire sound. The part where you can post your work and comment on others posts really makes the game that much more additive. My only problem with this is the majority of the people seem to be bots. I also adore the well made actions, pottery making, decorations, color functions and much more for the true craftsmanship it creates. Truly a work of art. And the game isn’t just a money grab either. It’s really what it says it is. This game may not be for everyone, but for the people who enjoy relaxing and well made games , I’d definitely recommend this one. (FOR ANYONE SAYING ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE BOTS, I AM NOT A BOT! I SWEAR THIS GAME IS REALLY GOOD! I can really tell you and you’re team put a lot of work into it. Thanks!😄

Great!. It’s a great app! It would be a 5/5 but there’s a lot of ads. I don’t blame y’all for the ads though, ad revenue is hard to make a living off of. Tldr; great app, lots of ads.

Frusterating.. It’s a lot of fun until you get to around level 4 then you can’t do the quests without buying the premium because you need access to certain designs and colours. And I’m absolutely not paying that absurd price for a phone game.

fun but very VIP dependent. its a really good game, there are ads but its not constantly and the gameplay is very cool. i love it but the only thing that makes it hard is the fact most things is behind a paywall where you need VIP. like a lot of customization is locked and when you get to quest 62, you cannot complete it without having VIP. otherwise it is a great game to play when bored. if more free options were released, that would be great.

Fun but way too expensive. The game is enjoyable and a good time passer, but the price for VIP is ridiculous. It’s pretty pathetic that a mobile pottery game is expecting more that what I pay for Netflix a month...Like what??? Not to mention, the year price is $99. I understand that the company needs money to further their game, but $14.99 a month? To make pottery on my phone with more than just 7 colours? Maybe I would actually consider either of those prices if it weren’t a subscription. I’m not putting in $99 for a GAME that I’ll only have for a year. It’s awful how money hungry every video game company has gotten. And seeing this game company hop on the subscription bandwagon too proves how disgusting they’ve gotten. What happened to just being $6.99 for the full game?

Really bummed out. I really loved this game but then I hit a quest that required a vip subscription to continue, basically forcing you to pay if you want complete more quests. This really sucks since I loved the game so much so far. I ended up deleting the app cuz I was so frustrated.

Fun game but dont like subscriptions. This game is really fun and I enjoy it a lit but you are pretty limited especially in colour when you aren’t a VIP. If this game had maybe a free version even with slightly less then the current free version and then an option to pay a 1 time fee to unlock the rest of the game then id gladly pay it! However with a subscription base I just can’t justify it. I do in and out of playing games so id have to pay for the week or month subscription every time i was feeling into the game again and that can rack up. Not to mention that I wont always have the spare funds every time I feel like playing. Theres lots to do with the free one and it’s enjoyable for sure so I give huge props to that! Making a game about making pottery fun certainly seems like a difficult task! the ads aren’t too frequent either and never pup up when you’re in the middle of something, usually when you’re going to the next step and I think thats a good place to put them so that they aren’t too annoying. All in all a lovely game but i wish the kept the one time fee the first game had.

Payment model. I bought the original game years ago and I am delighted that there is a sequel. However, I am not sure how the other players are completing quests long enough to hit the paywall ( maybe they have more time to play or it’s a recent update), but you get a 7 day free trial before you have to pay $4 a week. Many of the developer comments say it’s $4 a month but on the pop up, it’s definitely $4 a week. There must be miscommunication somewhere.

Needs new updates. Needs more designs more quests and more and different challenges. After a while it feels like the same thing over and over again even after having all of the designs available.

zen ET addictif. Je ne me lasse pas. On peut laisser s’exprimer notre créativité et admirer les œuvres des autres: fascinant. 🌠

Ridiculously long intro video. 4$ a week seems excessive

Please help. I love the game and I have a problem when I was doing the quest I ended up buying design I didn’t need and now I can’t make new designs to get money and I can’t buy money and I tried to make a new account but it stays the same and I really wanna play but u have this issue and can’t seem to find how to fix it. I also deleted the app and got it back again but still can’t play because of the stupid mistake I did. Plz help wa I can do

$200,00000.99999. Yes we will pray for all of the orange ones in our hearts to see what they do for the next week and we are all going out there too lol we are going out for a little while lol I think we should be home in a little later lol we will have dinner opwowoeyeo us and so we uwill uhave I love axolotls

Money-grab. Sixteen dollars a month? That’s almost two Netflix subscriptions. Awful.

Relaxing and creative. While it’s true some of the embellishments are only a available with a subscription, I still find there’s plenty in the free version to make infinite beautiful combinations and creations. The community is very nice and the more you engage, the more feedback you get. One thing I’d like is not to have a daily limit on how many pieces you can like (heart) in a day. So many talented people out there! Would highly recommend.

It’s okay but…. Oh my gosh you have to pay premium for practically all the colours and most of them the designs! Thank you but I’d rather stick with the older version of this game

Scamy price. Ridiculous price, it should be free to play, with the option to pay to unluck stuff faster. And the gameplay is super boring. They are obviously counting on you uninstalling the app and keep paying an outrageous price / week.

支持创作!. 小学运动会时候玩的游戏,十年后终于买得起DLC。有点小贵但是值得。

You have to pay for everything. If you’re not willing to be a VIP or willing to pay extra money, you lose all creativity basically in the app it’s in definitely not how are used to be you don’t get to pick colours you don’t get to pick anything you got a few of the primary colours but if you want anything else do you have to pay for it

DISAPPOINTING. As someone mentioned, it is only a glorified version of the original. And to pay $99 a year, no thanks, just to get the “better” stuff. Was anticipating something much better.

Pottery 2. I cannot Sign In with Apple anymore every time I tap Sign In with Apple, it does not do anything and I can only Sign In with Apple so please fix.

Amazing game. Get it now!. This game is crazy detailed and has many colours and designs for your pot you choose to create and shape with just a couple of swipes. There are advertisements here and there throughout the game, but overall a 4/5 stars. I recommend if you love pottery and creating realistic pots and objects. Hope you enjoy if you do het the game!! : D

Sucks. Just a glorified version of the first one. I’m not paying for a subscription to get access to everything else that I bought in the original one. I don’t have that kind of money. Cool but no thanks, I’m going back to the original one.

This is the best!. I love this app, it’s sooo fun! The original is good to!

View. Couldn’t even get started, it’s only in portrait mode. There are players who can only play in landscape mode but it’s not an option. Shame though, I was looking forward to trying it.

Awesome. There is so many different patterns and things to do there is like no ads and the sounds are very calming

not perfect but pretty cool. ive loved the original game for a while now so when i saw it got a sequel with more clay options and higher res i was hella excited. And it runs pretty smooth too which i’m happy with :) shaping the pots is so much easier hahah My only complaint is that a lot of cool stuff or extra content is locked behind a paid subscription, and it’s disappointing to watch a game franchise i liked fall victim to capitalism but i will eat up the free materials and palettes regardless.

Very disappointing. Fun at the beginning but later on only if you buy vip, otherwise: 1. Up to quest 64, most quests require vip patters. Since I don’t have them I got stuck in one. It did not reset for 3 days. 2. Same with daily challenges, I can do maybe 10% of them 3. After level 6 it’s a nightmare to level up. Since we only get two more patters on this level, it gets very boring. There’s nothing else to do. In short, this game excludes people who don’t want to spend money. The possibilities for free are ok at the beginning but extremely limited after level 5. Suggestions: It’s ok to want to earn money with an application but there other ways, like in other games, to do that, like with adds. For the quests/challenges, for example, it should be possible to access the vip content temporarily to be able to finish them.

Love this game but….. I love this game it really helps with my anxiety and depression and helps me to relax and refresh. However, I dislike the limitations for how much pots can be created and published and displayed or access to everything unless getting VIP. I think rethinking the way money is obtained would be a benificial step for this game considering its not very relaxing when ur forced to pay to play. The whole idea is to relief stress, it’s literally advertised! I have also had a “holy moly” pop up on the loading screen saying it’s not working so can you guys please fix these issues??

Please allow more colors for non VIP users. I am a non VIP user, and I can understand how certain patterns cost money, but it’s unfair how I just reached level 4 after trying to do loads of quests to have EVERY SINGLE COLOR LOCKED!!! Please! Let non VIP users have at least a few options from every group, or a FEW more colors! You are letting us use some patterns from other groups, why not colors?!?! This thing is just “you either PAY to get more features unlocked and more levels or you’re stuck making the same pots” please rethink this! It is unfair!

Only good for monthly subscription. I enjoyed this game a lot for quite sometime and after my partner passed I stopped my gaming subscriptions for obvious reasons. I came back to play and I literally can’t create a single new piece unless I continue to pay monthly. NOT FTP

requiring completion of quests to unlock items is annoying. the first game was so much better since you can just save up and easily buy whatever patterns you want. it was also easier to get coins quickly and the freedom made the game a lot more relaxing. hate that achievements are required to unlock items for purchase. it is forcing people to play the game a certain way when its supposed to be a stress-free and creative way to pass some time

Paywall… 🙄😒. This game is only worth it if you are willing to pay for a subscription, otherwise, expect to progress until level six, after which most of the design elements, colour palettes, and decorative accoutrements become imprisoned behind the aforementioned paywall. For me personally, gameplay became insipid after this level, limited as I was to primary colours, the most basic clay types, less than half of the available design elements (a generous estimate, I consider), and practically none of the decorative accoutrements (this time not an exaggeration). Moreover, further advancement becomes practically impossible beyond level six, as the ceramic pieces you’re able to create remain rudimentary and unsophisticated with the limited selection at hand (therefore selling for less); it even becomes impossible to fulfill certain challenges, requiring as they do design elements locked firmly behind the paywall. I’ve yet to encounter a more rapacious and gouging game than this: a tremendously disappointing and disillusioning game.

Fun gain but seem to have bugs. Love the creativity and artistic expression, however I published 10+ pots even was getting some likes and all of sudden all my pots disappeared except the ones in my display room, is this a known issue?

Chill. So calming but a bit addicting

C’est le meilleur jeu !!!. J’adore et je trouve que tout le monde devrai jouer

NOT worth the price. Buy the other highly rated pottery game in the Apple app store, its better. $4 a week for a mobile game is laughably stupid.

Bullsh*t Zen. This is a pretty app that functions well. But I quickly realized it’s just more corporate greed aimed at feeding the human impulse for attainment. You can only build a very small amount of pottery designs and colours and are forced to compete in challenges in order to move up and attain rewards. Also, the pottery you create is automatically sold? Where? To whom? Deleted the app after 10 minutes. This wasn’t relaxing.

Fun but not worth the cost. I enjoyed this app but like other commenters I do not think it is worth the cost for what it is.

I love this! But... I recently downloaded the game and have been having so much fun playing it! The only issue I have is that in some of the quests, there are premium items that you can’t buy if you havent bought the entire game. This was really disappointing and up until the point where I saw the first quest like this, I was really impressed with how much of the game you could play without paying! I feel like this could be a very simple fix. Here’s one example of an easy suggestion I thought of; you could make it so that there’s a “premium” quest section (that you can only play if you pay) that pays you more than the normal quests. I honestly don’t like that you can only “win” if you pay. Hopefully you can understand where I’m coming from, Thank you!

Disappointed. Instead of a subscription I believe there should be a one time pay thing to access all of the patterns. I don’t wanna pay monthly for a pottery app... but I would pay one time for all the other features. I’ve been playing this game for a while and the subscription part kills the vibe 😕

Lol I love this game so much. This game is so fun, and I play it 23/7 Only thing is I wish you could play it offline. That would make it so much better! 🤩 If it was offline it would be the only game I play besides Clash Of Clans. So please at least take it into consideration, thanks! And thanks for making a great game! 🤩🤩🤩

It’s cool but.... It is AMAZING my family and I play this game. We saw that there are barely any colours available. Also, the VIP stuff is like PAY TO GET LIKES. I don’t have vip and I am (AydThePotterGuy) and it has been a struggle getting likes and making pots without the 100 published limit. PAY TO WIN? I think so. Please stop VIP stuff make it all free. For our sake. 👍🏽the game is legit so fun but please rethink how you get money.

Amazing. I am so glad that I found this App. I use it everyday and during the pandemic, it has provided a wonderful creative outlet. It comes with a peaceful nature soundtrack which I love but you can choose turn off if it’s not your thing. The other players are extremely positive and encouraging and can communicate by commenting on your creations and indicating ‘likes’. The more pots I create, the more ideas I get, beautiful options for colours, patterns and extras. I agree with another user , that it would be amazing if the App could include a way of creating vertically. There is some cost involved but I say just get rid of some of the games that you don’t use, so that you can enjoy this one. Many thanks!

Tech support. There is some very annoying music playing when I open this app. Even with my sound turned off, it continues to play. I will change my rating when this is resolved.

Excuse me?!?!. Y’know, I was really enjoying this game, despite the nonsense coming from the developers, but this last update is ridiculous. First off, the developers claim that they don’t “force” anyone to pay to play the game and that there’s plenty of features available when playing for free. Despite saying this, there were still multiple quests that were impossible to complete without paying for the game. After reaching out to the developers about my concerns, I received a very generic and cryptically-worded response that ignored all of my questions and basically told me that I can still do a lot with the game while playing for free, which is true if you want to use limited colours, textures and patterns in the “create your own custom pots from scratch” area, but not the quests. The patterns, colours and textures were already limited, but in this last update they’ve taken away A LOT of these previously-free items and added them to the list of “vip member access only” items. And you’re going to tell me that you’re NOT forcing people to pay to play? On top of that, these developers think that an app used to make digital pottery warrants a SUBSCRIPTION!!!!! $6 per week, $15 per month, or, get this... $100 PER YEAR! Are you kidding me?! Where do you get off thinking that a game, and especially one like this has any business asking people to dish out ongoing money in a subscription, in addition to all of the ads that you include during gameplay? I was already suspicious of this game and the motives of the developers, but this confirms it. They’re money-hungry fiends and scammers. It’s too bad. This could have been a really great game if it weren’t for the selfish, greedy developers. I’ll be deleting this app now that I can’t make any progress at all without paying, and you can forget about that ever happening.

$3.99 a week. $3.99 plus tax a week to play. That is over $234 a year. Crazy.

Great. Relaxing, this is awesome!

Ridiculous. I can understand a one time fee to play this game but $4 + tax per week for a pottery game is just silly.

ads are bad. cant close the dang ad and i want the potty game big L

Pay attention to your reviews!. I’m clearly not the first to come here just to say this…. but this is way to expensive. This is my favorite game and would continue to play if the payment option was different. I’m not sure why so many games think they are worth paying a monthly fee these days. Make the game or even each item a one time payment and you’re players will be a lot happier.

It’s good but. The problem with this game is that nearly everything requires premium the non premium colors consist so far black brown Roy g bi a slightly darker red and a slightly darker blue can non premium at least have purple violet or pink please trust me it will result in better reviews if you At least give non premium the full rainbow o not to mention the only decoration non premium has are beads while gets golden decorations if not that then maybe charge less for premium please think about it

Sad for what has become of this great series.. Updated for modern times added new stuff new colors & improved on a bunch from the premium 1st one. But Unlike Number 1 this one is not premium, this one is loaded with ads, loaded with iAP worse being a Subscription based model. Needs 24/7 WiFi. This is nothing impressive it’s just like every other game freemium go into it for quick bouts but don’t waste your money on this not worth it.

You start off earning credits to buy more patterns then as you really start liking the app. Do you earn credits selling your parts on a virtual bidding site and use credit to buy new patterns and just as you start getting good and really liking the app all of the patterns that you use the most of you now have to pay for so they pick the ones that you use the most of them say no you can’t use these unless you pay for them that ain’t right I ain’t paying another good app gone down for greed

Shouldn’t be so expensive. I love(d) this app. However, it is very expensive to play if you want to use more patterns and colors. The free ones are quite limited. I’m on level 7 and looks like I’ll be here for a very long time. There is a lot of potential and I’d even pay $5-$10 but to require $3.99 a week to access more colors and patterns?!?! Seriously? It’s nearly impossible to level up unless you are paying for VIP.

How to take pottery. This is the best the best it will be the game you wanna play it’s not about me pottery relaxing don’t give it up sometimes sometimes you shouldn’t look up don’t look down on your best dreams this is the game I really seen have a great day with the ace game

The best taste in art. Yes, very far this will be like a rip off of a game that has ads, but unexpectedly it turned out good this was the goodness taste of art. I feel like this is a good game to relax and be creative. Does it have ads does annoying ones eater I feel like there should be a competition mode if the creator hears this make a competition mode

Paywall. Great game but incredibly limited to only a few patterns and such with a paywall. In reality, not many people have the money to pay either $4 (USD) a week, $9 a month, or $50 a week on VIP in this game. If a one time purchase were available for the VIP, only then would I buy it as long as it were under $30

This game is almost perfect.. This game is so near perfection that I would give it five stars any day, but it has too many ads and it hinders the games ability to immerse the user into the creation of the pottery. All in all the game is still a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great experience.

Wonderful!. I played this game as a young kid and absolutely loved it!! When I found the second one it was really fun to be honest! When I used to play the first one, the bottoms would never taper out like I wanted, which really annoyed me, but the new one doesn’t do that and now I am very happy!

Useless. You probably know what the problem is with this game if you’ve read any other review. The subscription is too expensive, there are way too many ads if you play for free, and the new “modern” style has turned it from a relaxing creativity tool to a social media platform. If you want a game like this but better, go buy the original Pottery HD for five dollars. There is nothing locked behind a paywall after the main purchase and it has none of the problems listed above.

This game is not that fun!. I thought the game at first was very fun until the levels got harder. I cannot pass this dumb flower pot because a help button is not on there. I think there should be a help button all the time and not EVERY 20 mins! You can’t even buy fun stuff cause you have to be at another level and you cannot pass a level cause there is no help button on the quests. I mean the game says fun and relaxing but it’s confusing and difficult. One fun thing about the game is that you post your creations and get followers and likes. Over all the game was not so fun and relaxing.

Love This, But With a Condition. I love this game. I played the original years ago and I'm still in awe at what some people can create. However, there is an exception to my love of this game: there is a quest that requires you to get premium to pass. That is just not fair. Game quests should be completable without having to sign up for VIP. Daily quests, fine, but not things baked into the game that everyone needs to complete to progress. That should not be a thing.

Great game. Love this game! Only one thing that’s not my fave… I do wish that we don’t have to pay to get a subscription to get good things. Not having a subscription really limits your choices. Other than that, this game is very fun and I would definitely recommend.

Awesome and satisfying!. I love how you can be super creative. And you can also share your work. I also love how you can pick designs and choose colors. So if I were you reading this I want to give this instead of a five start with you I would give it a 1 million star review

Lose the ads!. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because this version has ads in between burning & decorating that are loud & fairly annoying, enough to break the calming vibe this pottery app used to keep constant. It definitely disturbs the creative flow…

Glitch in game. I love the pottery game. I live making pottery, however the game glitches a lot. The major glitch I have had was a pot appeared and fired before I could shape it. Now I can’t get rid of it and I can no longer create quests. I have emailed support twice and received no response. I paid for the VIP and I am not getting treated like one. The game also glitches the daily quests and I have to go about every other day before I can create a daily. No VIP here. 😞

Good but could be great!. It’s a creative and relaxing game but there’s room for improvement. The price to have access to all the extras is very high and I’d charged monthly. There are also limitations to designing shapes such as you can’t make sharp angles or square things off. Also, the amount of width changes you can make in one pot is pretty limited. This means you end up with a LOT of similar looking designs. This game needs more variation in shaping pots and more reasonable pricing!

Would be 5 stars but…. Internet connect required. The original game didn’t require. Yet this one does. For whatever reason. The game is the same so that’s nice but when I’m in a dead zone and want to pass time I definitely can’t with this game. Honestly I downloaded yesterday hoping it would be good. Deleted today. Less than 24 hours. Not pleased. Won’t download again unless that’s fixed. Thankfully I didn’t spend any money on the app yet. Ridiculous.

The VIP price. I wish it was like the old game where you could buy separate one that cost is only two dollars and you can get every single color and stuff understand you have to pay $100 a year if you want to get it for a year and it’s just I wish they could make a separate one that only causes a couple dollars and you can get every single color and everything or padern material please do this.

Awesome. I love how you can literally make your own pottery and everything is so unique and you don’t make real money but it’s fun to see how much you kind of make like it say I got 105 off of this one piece of pottery I feel good because that means other people or the just a computer likes my pottery in that feels good

Pretty good. This game is okay, I enjoy playing it in my free time, but it’s not my go to app. I’d absolutely love it if you added a few more colors, or designs. It’s not very, entertaining, but it’s satisfying. After about five mins you just kinda get tired of it. Maybe you could add a few mini games! It’s just kind of boring, but otherwise, five stars!

Fun but limited…. The VIP packs are pretty expensive for a game that constantly lags. And for the price people pay (and there are a lot of VIP members) you’d think they could afford simple features like editing studios or repositioning pots when handles aren’t centered properly in the end product. Just some ODC concerns really. Other than that, it’s super fun and therapeutic. The challenges and quests keep it from getting boring and people are super friendly.

No support. Even if I achieve everything, it does not give me enough points for the next level. I am paying for this app. It’s not free and deserves support. The “support” is an auto reply that doesn’t answer the question. I have also asked how to do the long strips of clay. They might be handles that only attach on one of their ends, but I don’t have access to them even though people with lower levels are using them. This question is ignored.

$4 a WEEK? !!!!!!!. I really like this app but even my favorite subscription app or channel does not cost four dollars a week. I can only guess that this is the price and people will read it as per month rather per week that’s making more money before too many people object. It’s a lovely app but I would rather pay a one time fee of a reasonable price before buying this one. The arch is appreciated but there are much more complex apps and games that have beautiful art that do not cost this much.

Great app. Subscription too pricey and some bugs.. I love this app. It’s very realistic and so relaxing. Love the colors, the clay and the patterns. i wanted to point out some minor flaws so you can improve and make this even more amazing. Recently the quests seem to have bugs because my pots look exactly like the ones in the quest but the stars don’t go beyond 3 for patterns. Specifically quest #65. So if you could add some hints for quests (the help is useless), that would be helpful. Also a way to contact and send feedback for the free version. Your contact form requires an order number. And how do I turn off the sound? The bird sounds are irritating

Great! But stuck on a quest. This game is great and a good way to pass the time but I have come across a couple of quest that you would need a subscription brush for and I didn’t think this would be an issue considering this has happened before but I was able to get 4 stars and pass the quest but quest 107 has a premium brush and you simply cannot get past it without it so that’s a bummer. :/ overall it’s a good game especially now with new quests!

Costly and full of cyber bullies that go unmonitored. I just started this app three days ago and not only is the premium WAYYYYY over priced, the people in this community are dogs that get pleasure from harassing users cause they don't get any consequences. I love these types of apps cause they ARE calming but not when I'm targeted and get negative comments on all of my work multiple times from users that I can't even block!!! Every time I've tried to block and report users, nothing happens! I've contacted the company but I haven't heard back. If I do I'll update this but so far all I wanna say is DO NOT USE THIS APP.

Really good. It does have a few issues some levels it can be hard but other than that it is a great! Game I give it 5 star cause it is relaxing if your into different details from different country’s this is the game for you 👍

Great, fun app. This is definitely an enjoyable app, just two things though. 1. The subscription seems kind of steep to me, I might like to try it longer then the trial, but don’t want to pay as much as you’re asking. 2. Please make this app landscape supported on iPad. I use and like the iPad, but it’s not the most comfortable having to play in portrait mode.

Pottery 2. I am saddened by the change to a subscription instead of selling and earning all the choices as in the first pottery. Some of us don’t have that kind of money. My students and I will take it as far as the free version goes I guess. And mourn the rest. Such a disappointment to find that your fine app has gone to making money and not for giving untold amounts of pleasure like your first pottery app. That one has been a blessing for my challenged high risk students. Sincerely, Sherry

Though rated for 4+ developer allows graphic content. Though rated for 4+ developer allows graphic content with no way to block it. The “block user” function only blocks comments. The VIP subscription only allows the subscriber to earn in game currency, which can then be used to purchase an additional, limited toolkit. The fact of the matter is that despite advertising new tools to be added “soon”, nothing new has been added in 2+ years.

Fun but needs some work. The game is really fun and addictive but the tasks to level up past level 7 are almost impossible. It’s all community based. The daily best and the winners of all the challenges are always the same 4 or 5 people. Sometimes the same person wins all of the slots. Seems like that could definitely be improved.

Non- subscription. I do love this app except for the amount of colors patters etc. I wish there was a little more to choose from on free version. Also why do some months you get free patterns and some are only for the subscription version? March had several nice free patterns but April doesn't have any free ones. Why is this?? I also think there should be a few more colors available for free. If these situations were changed I would gladly up my star rating from 2 to 5. No I do not want to update my review. There's nothing to update. I just want answers to my concerns.

Be Aware! This is a PER WEEK subscription. Little value for $!. I rarely write reviews but the way this app is set up seems like its just fishing for people's info or money, or both. There is VERY little value for the amount you're paying and if you end up getting the subscription after the first trial week, be aware that you are signed up for a PER WEEK subscription and not per month! I would imagine the developer gets quite an income on this simple oversight by any number of people who forgot to quite their trial subscription and thought they had a month to cancel before they were charged again.

Get the game🎮!!!!. I have been playing this game for months and I still love it just the same as the first day. My art teacher recommended this game in class. She said that this game would help make designs for my pot. Getting the game will help you in art class.

Like the game, hate cost. Update: WAIT A SECOND! I spend in game money on something, while paying for the subscription... But if my sub ends, I don't get to use the colors and patterns I PAID for? Nope! Delete. Done with this game. I enjoy playing this, I love the creation aspect. But when I reached level four and I saw that I was about to receive a whole bunch of color options, only for that to be three browns from different selections, and I have to pay to get anything else. It became not worth it. I’ll probably mess around with it, but the lack of giving me anything simply because I’m not paying you six dollars a week, or $100 a year, is ridiculous.

I’m so happy!!!!. First of all I’m so glad y’all made a second app!!!! It looks great and the actual gameplay is just like the first game. I love it so much! I remember playing the first one as a child and wanting to actually get into ceramics. The concept makes it feel so worth it to make these pieces❤️

Subscription or not. So I subscribed for a week and the price is ridiculously expensive! I don’t think that when you purchase extras such as colors and patterns with your earned game currency that if your subscription expires then all extras are locked! You purchased them fair and square they should be available at all times. I love this game but since there is so many restrictions and very limited to patterns and colors I will be deleting it just isn’t worth the price asked for vip

Great but needs work. I love this app so much but I have two issues. 1. I could spend 20 minutes on a pot and have it look beautiful, bid it, and it won’t go for much at all. Yet, for some reason, pots that take me a couple minutes to just slap on some patterns go for more. Makes no sense to me, why try to make good pots if the don’t sell great. Of course this doesn’t happen all the time but enough to get annoying. 2. Too much stuff is premium. I understand that if you pay you get more but if you are playing without paying, there are not that many options to decorate your pots. Keep the premium of course but give a little more leeway for non premium users Other than these two, love the app, keeps me entertained and highly recommend because I am addicted.

They Killed Goose with the Golden Egg. This review is not about the gameplay. Which is still comparable to the original version of the game. I get the need to monetize. But the developers went too far. To access all their new “premium content endlessly” you want me to cough up $99 for an annual subscription?! Hah! Your creative diversion is fun, but not nearly that fun. I might be willing to pay a third of that. Then if you don’t want to spend a Franklin for the content, the developers ask you to watch a sponsoring video ad. And I would have done that too. But not for 2+ minutes every single time. Just for a new skin. Again I might have been willing to watch for a minute. But not when sooo much of the content is locked behind these pay mechanisms. So you know what I did? I deleted the app and moved on. That’s what I suggest you do as well. Too bad, such a fun diversion. Had the developers not been so careless in their greed, they would have gotten me to be a full paying customer. But they totally overvalued their product. See ya

Total rip off.. The vip is such a rip off and you need to change it. It’s a great game but sooo expensive for the vip. You should instead make a thing where you can buy coins in the game. I’m so mad about this!!! You better fix it. Oh and also since I have an iPhone 6 I can’t download the new update, which I’m sure is not your fault but I’m still mad because I can’t use the app. Pleasee fix this!!!!!!

Fun, but long time player looking for new features. I have been playing this pottery app for several years. It is very good with a lot of nice colors, patterns, items and challenges. I Love the social aspect of the app too. My only complaint after playing sometime is, I wish the developers would add some new features like new clays, pattern sets, items, and the way you color the pottery is limited to up and down.

How do you attach handles?. I like this. It’s okay. I’m not buying the subscription because I hear its 100 dollars a year. My one big problem is that whenever I try to attach a handle, it shows up on screen and doesn’t actually work. I can see that most reviews are getting answers, so please tell me how to do this.

subscription is asinine. fun game but i think the subscription option is totally stupid. the only people i see using it is overly devoted old geezers who probably have literally nothing else to do and i’m not expending so much money towards an app like this. i would definitely purchase a one-time purchase but this is just ridiculous 🤨 it’s also significantly harder to do better in the community when people who bother paying for VIP have MUCH better resources than you do, so i don’t understand why so many of the quests revolve around advancing community

Lost its appeal. This started out as a really enjoyable game for me but then you get stuck cause they make it hard to level up after a certain point which is ridiculous & I’ve been paying for the monthly subscription but I am at the point now where I believe that’s a waste of money it should not be so hard to level up the quest are a joke my pot looks like the one they have pictured but nope it still acts like it’s wrong A game that used to give me peace now gives me a headache

A middle ground?. I love the game, but it seems unfair that you either have your options cut in half, or you pay an extortionist fee. How about a middle ground? If I want to use a “premium” pattern but don’t want to upgrade to subscription, why not have an option to watch an ad for each pot I use it on? I could progress past the dead-end quest, while still contributing revenue by watching ads.

Question. I got the first game for myself and all my kids, we all loved it! I really like this version with the challenges and being able to publish your creations. I’m currently on a 7 day free trial, my question is, if I buy the colors and patterns that you can buy when you subscribe will I still have them if I cancel my subscription or will they disappear. 100 a year is pretty expensive.

Subscription. So everyone saying the WEEKLY subscription is $4 is right. It is, I don’t know why the game devs keep saying that’s the monthly pay cuz the monthly is worse, it’s $8.99 or basically $9. The game is fun, but you have to pay to get more than just the basic colors and the pretty designs. I’d say get the game for about 30 minutes but after that the game loses its fun since everything is only available for premium

Love it, but barely anything’s free. I just joined and i noticed that free users only get like 6 colors and vips get like 30. which i think is totally unfair on both parts because VIP is ridiculously expensive just for some perks (do not reply to this and say “We have provided exclusive patterns and clays for our VIP members and blah blah blah”) and free users aren’t even getting many good things. Edit: Great thanks a lot, now I can’t do tasks anymore because i’m stuck with two premium required tasks and i’m not about to spend 100 dollars a year on this game. no thank you
