$0 spent, maxed out trophies. So, I have had the game since July (4 months now) and I have reached Tour Pro III and 2940 trophies without spending a dime on the game. So it is possible but it’s a very challenging feat. That a good thing in my book. There have been issues with bots and there is also a major advantage for people who are willing to shell out real money for better attributes in golf balls and upgraded clubs but I am proof it is possible to beat the pay to win strategies lol. The upgrade bags and balls are a bit pricey in my opinion but I am stubborn about spending money on mobile games. Just me. Over all, it is a fun and very addicting game. If they can get rid of bots some how that would be great. The most recent update seemed to help. I got my last 300 trophies in tour 8 over the weekend and had a pretty good win percentage as well. I was getting winnable games more often then I had before. I didn’t know they were bots, I just thought there were some hardcore pros playing at that level haha. For those of you complaining about P2W, get good scrubs it’s possible lol, jk. Good game over all.

Great game at first but loses it as you keep playing. I loved this game first few weeks I played it. But as many said you need to pay money to be able to compete against many of the opponents once you get to the 300 level. It’s not a fair playing field when opponent can out drive you due to their club upgrades. Some holes can’t reach par 5 and they can easily to it. Still can compete but best to put all your game cash into short irons so you can beat them in tie breaker. My biggest issue is that the game is starting to crash when playing. Somehow it only crashed during higher level matches and you lose your entry $$$. So this 5* game gets a 3* from me. Hopefully they fix the bugs or time to find new one. Update to 1 star: After writing above review this morning. Game crashed on me again. The bad time is it only crashes when I am playing higher $$ games. Played 4 $1000 games and no issue. Build up to play $4K and it crashes. It game the countdown and I shot and opponent didn’t. Went to end game screen thinking I won and gave the match to them. I am so done with this game. Update: I finally get an email from the developer after who knows how long. I completely forgot about it cus I deleted the game after issue. Asked if I updated new version and “we have resolved some of the issues.” What a joke. Too bad I can’t lower a star

Better than Golf Clash. I played Golf Clash for more than 3 years and put in around 20K matches. Ultimate Golf is definitely a better product for several reasons: head to head marches take 1/2 as long because both competitors play at the same time, there are multiple tournaments each day and an 18 hole tournament takes less than an hour to complete, every 1/2 hour there is a Royale event which is like a rapid fire closest to pin contest, a new hot shot (UG version of golden shot) takes place every day, every level of the season pass has things you can actually use like coins cash premium balls etc., the game plays more like golf - miss a down hill putt and it might roll off the green and back down the fairway, and the there are multiple pin positions for each hole. I made the switch from GC to UG and I couldn’t be happier.

Frustrating Gameplay Inconsistencies. This game can be frustrating at times due to the inconsistencies in game play. You can play a hole with the same wind speed as the prior hole and end up with different results in how the ball is impacted in flight. Putts lip out even when properly lined up and the release is within the marker. You often end up with different results when using the same club with the same strength (ex: wedge may come up short one hole and fly the green the next). The wind speed and direction also changes each time you restart or replay the same tournament. It seems the only way to win a tournament, or finish top 10, is based on whether you have luck on your side with the wind (ex: wind behind you to hit a par 5 green in two vs. another round where wind works against you and hitting the green in two shots is impossible). If the developers can figure out how to correct these, the game play would be more fun.

Same as all the rest. Programmed to make money. I just deleted this game because The last whole I played proved to me this is pay to play platform with matrix designed to penalize non- big spenders. It Is a great experience initially until your “level” miraculously generates hurricane force winds unless you have purchased the expensive balls. I made a couple purchases as the “simulator” is a fun experience, but once you pass “pro” the fun stops unless you have the God Ball and God pins at a God Price. And for what? How about this programmers? Keep your 20+ mph winds that move a ball like its a F1 tornado but have tournaments that dont allow anything but the basic ball. Let the skill begin. They will never do that because that would make too great an experience. Which is short sighted on their part because people like me would make more purchases because of the game play. Then to heighten the experience with purchases on the other tournaments. So prepare thyself to buy “stuff” to make it better after the first couple ranks. The way it is now you have to buy “stuff” to keep it from sucking once you hit pro. Since there is no dinner, no kiss and no oral gratification with the buying of “stuff” on this game, Im out. But, Find out for yourself if you don’t believe me.

Flawless Execution!. This the most well developed, tested and deployed app/game I have ever used. So many apps today are riddled with bugs, memory leaks and crashes but not Ultimate Golf!! The network connectivity forgiveness is absolutely amazing. I have never before seen a game that can refresh its online connection so fast that it is almost like it never happened. The graphics are fantastic with physics that are realistic but forgiving at the same time. Although there are in app purchases, this is not a “pay to play” game. You can earn more than enough prizes and upgrades to stay competitive. My gratitude and appreciation goes our to the developers who coded this game! It’s clear that you care about your product and have actually tried and tested what you have created. Cheers! Adding...would love to see the other golfer badges semi transparent on greens. Obstructing visibility at pin.

Make The Game Fair. The game can be fun , but their are weird quirky holes that are difficult to navigate. Those holes are not fun . Some holes are difficult, because the hole doesn’t make sense . Not a real golf experience. Not sure why someone isn’t penalized for hitting a ball out of bounce. Somehow these players have the same amount shots as a person who hasn’t missed a shot on the same hole . Also there is shot timer when trying to set-up a shot on a hole. This can cause you to forfeit the hole . Not fair at all . Ridiculous nonsense. People just want to play the game, and use their skill to win holes. No one wants to have the game turn on them while playing the game. It would be more fun if the game was about golf and skill . Just fix those items and people will stay with the app . Otherwise this game app is a loser . The game is not about playing skillfully. It has these trick shot holes that are just ridiculous. The game is more about taking big risks to make a good shot . The ball does not roll true either. Impact Golf is a much better game . It’s all about real courses and making true golf shots . Plus the game is generous about giving free stuff and the cost is less .

Tournaments are fixed. I really enjoy the game but when I’m in a tournament doing well, see the leaderboard and how I’m doing compared to others, play another hole, see the leaderboard and it’s a complete set of other players who now how better scores than I do. That, takes away all the fun. It’s manipulating players to play again to better the score, to use better balls, run out of them and buy some more. STOP IT, you cheaters. You must be making so much money as you keep manipulating, but you will only make profit in the short term instead of having customers who really enjoy playing and stay still playing. I’m at the point where the manipulation to expend balls to make you buy more or you can’t compete is pushing me away. And why does the game allow computer based players to usurp the integrity of the competition with programs that allow them to manipulate dialing in their shots artificially. It’s like we’re all playing the ‘great leader’ who once scored 18 playing a round a golf! Good grief. Stop it and let your customers have fun and ban the cheats.

Very fun. Great graphics. One major gripe.. The level of detail is definitely matched by the entertainment. This game is easy to play, offers wonderful opportunities for competition, and, if played wisely does not require any real money. Patience and practice, much like real golf, will yield fantastic results. Tournament play is exciting, but only once you’ve accrued enough coins and good clubs. Eager to try playing with friends which could be even more fun. While you can’t use/change clubs in certain situations is frustrating, it forces one to really decide whether to take chances, so, again, like real golf, there’s a lot of risk vs reward. My gripe....developers, please.... while playing a particular course (Banff Springs, Chateau Whistler) the controls are consistently wonky and it is extremely hard to hit an “Ultimate Shot” and if that weren’t bad enough, shots are released consistently late. Putting on these courses also seems to release very differently. Seems very much like a glitch is happening on these courses only. If not, there should be a way to tell that certain controls or courses are going to be harder to use. Please update to fix inconsistencies in swinging, ie : glitches in Canada courses I love the addition of Hallowed Hills, Jasper, and London GC. Keep adding cool course like that. It breaks up the monotony of having to play the same 8 or so holes per level. Love the playful puns for tourneys, too. London Golfing was a classic!

Game set up to force you to buy upgrades. There are a few frustrating aspects of the game. It was fun at first, even dealing with the growing pains of learning. First, there are no instructions or place to go for information as to how to play or to explain ratings or anything about the game. You are on your own. 2nd, it will not allow the player to select a club. For instance, you can’t select a putter on the green fringe or a loftier iron around the green. 3rd, you start to get left behind as players that buy upgrades, have superior equipment. The cost of playing head to head or to enter tournaments rises very quickly and early, before you can earn enough money or coins in the game. Lastly, it feels like things are designed to “sabotage” players at times to drain away in game assets. All of a sudden, putts are missed regardless of accuracy using guides and meters, balls take unnaturally large bounces and the wind effects the ball flight well beyond reality. In frustration, I’ll not play for a few days and when I come back, things are reasonable for just awhile. I might be wrong but the pattern seems pretty consistent.

PLEASE PLEASE help your fans help you, I beg of you!!. Okay this is what I got. It’s simple and will help you with more people than you can imagine wanting this app and to spend cash on it. I would and I will if only we were able to pick our own clubs when we are up to hit. Like if I wanted a 7iron instead of a 6 or 5 ( aka a long iron). If we wanted to use a sand wedge to Tee off then we oughta be able to. Cause if I’m in a spot where I hit it way in the rough on tee off I have to go accross and and start back on first part of the hole. But if I could use my bigger driver instead of my wood again, then I might be able to make it over the lake or sand. It would just be nice to have control over which clubs we want to bring out and use. Please think about it and if so I will do whatever you need of me. I can get at least 15 people to download and buy subscription. But only if it was the real and Actual ultimate Golfing app would it be to uuggh your die for app

This game is really awesome, just one problem. This game is so fun, it is so accurate , and it totally got me interested in golf!!!☺️ Like I used to think the Masters tournament was super boring, but this game made me think it’s the best thing ever. There really is just one problem though, and that problem is that out of all randomness during the game, it will black me out and bring me out do my home screen. I don’t if it’s just me, and even though I have an iPod touch (embarrassing) no game I have does this even 3 times as much less as this game. It really is annoying if I am going for a putt or a drive and it blacks out and brings me back to the home screen. I was playing my first time in screaming aces, and it happened and I lost the game 😞 😔 😢. Despite that, this is still one of the best games I have ever played, let alone sports games, in fact as of right now it probably is the best game I have ever played, so thank you so much for this very fun game miniclip!!! I want to think about Servers when I’m eating. At least a couple of times per session of playing, during Head to Head match ups, I will get an in game, non pop-upmessage across the screen saying “Waiting for Server”. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes I can fix it by closing the app and re opening, although that’s not full proof, and sometimes it just sits there while you watch your opponent on your screen finish the hole. The following happens many times on the earlier matchups as well.... I just saved up enough coin to go for the $1000 match ups and the above happens. My opponent is finishing the hole and it’s been about 30 secs of that message so I close the app and reopen. It connects, says putt for birdie, I putt and we draw. We go to the shoot off and all is well, I line up and I shoot... as my ball is coming to a stop a message pops up saying that “we are unable to connect to the servers etc.” with an okay button. The whole game stops moving, so I press play and takes me to the home screen. Okay, there was an issue, it’s just some time lost but no big dea-... Wait what?! With a big ol middle finger, it TAKES YOUR MONEY from the wager. This issue needs to be fixed immediately. It’s so frustrating and something that we have ZER0 control of on our end.

Could be so much better. Some rave about this game…and in some ways they should. But sadly, the developers either don’t play golf or just don’t get the concept. They’re so close to a perfect golf game. But the small details they have left out are causing the biggest issues for me. I have worked pretty hard to scratch up some reward cash to upgrade my clubs. That helps me drive a little further and maybe hit a little more accurately. But if I can’t select a different club based on where I am and what I’m trying to accomplish, what’s the point? I’d also like to be able to buy upgrade points to get me to an upgrade faster…but I can’t. Don’t trust putter lines. They’re garbage way too often. I’ve lost THOUSANDS because I can’t get a solid read. And if you’re playing the wind, GOOD LUCK!!! The movement on one shot with a sidewind at 7mph will not be the same next time. Even with perfect shots. Tiebreaker games…. Lol. Ridiculous hole placement and, again, not able to select the club I want, has cost me plenty of games. It’s so frustrating. I’ve stopped playing as much as I used to because they take the fun out if it. Who wants to play golf blindfolded??? That’s what it feels like when you can’t read the slope or know the green speed. If you’re into golf and want to experience disappointment and frustration, you have 2 options. You can play this game… or go to an actual course and play with 4 clubs and a bottomless bucket of range balls.

Great, but…... Obviously it’s a rip off of golf clash but I really like the actual courses and realism over GC. However the game is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes a 7 mph wind barely changes my shots path, sometimes it moves it from one side of the green to the other. And the putting? Nightmare. I hit a perfect accuracy putt aimed at the center of the cup and the ball misses the entire hole. Other times I hit a bad putt by a significant margin and it goes in. Kind of takes the fun out of it. Oh, and the usual complaints about the only way to compete at a high level is to spend money. You’d think a company with a bunch of money could make groups or tournaments you could enter for people who don’t spend 100$ a week on golf balls. Shrugs. Update: putting seems better. Also would suggest an option to trade lower level balls for higher level ones. Once you get high up enough you win plenty of good balls so I’ve just been sitting on hundreds of beginner balls for ages. If this is already an option disregard

Great game but..... Please fix the putting, this is an awesome game with mostly great mechanics but the putting is awful, sometime you can sink a 60 ft with ease and other times you will choke on an easy 15 because 1.) the green ball path is the same color as the hole lighting up so it’s hard to tell what your distance is with changing your angle away from the hole and 2.) it’s just too overly sensitive. When you go to change your angle it’s too easy to pull back or forward and throw everything off, then when you go to release if your finger is even slightly sweaty or stick you will not release on time and watch your beautiful birdie turn to par or worse. I know I sound like I’m whining but I’ve played golf games before and never had such a hard time with the putting. Please fix this one issue so I can give you 5 stars

Was fun. Game is fun when you start but the higher you get the less fun it becomes. The matches are “randomly selected “ and are so unfair it’s ridiculous. Beginners who are still dealing with the first clubs are pitted against people who have increased club strength all kinds of special balls that you can’t get. You have to take 2 swings to their 1. So of course you loose more than win. I am on stage 10 and was just pitted against someone who should be in stage 13. How is that fair? Then there is the amount of points needed to move on. Too many compared to amounts won and lost. I have a friend who use to play but gave up after spending a month to get from stage 12 to 13 only to loose once and end up being put back to 12. Game gets more frustrating than fun. Unless you are willing to pay real money to get the special balls that everyone you play has. That’s why I don’t believe the matches are random or fair and I won’t be playing anymore ☺️ plus developer responses are NEVER helpful.

Sink one for commerce!. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately playing a beautiful and lovingly crafted game that never tries to get me to spend a single penny (Genshin Impact). When I play that for days or hours and then launch Ultimate Golf, I’m struck hard by the overwhelming greed of UG. This game was fun to play for some time - it’s well-designed - but that contrast between a game designed for the love of the game and the enjoyment of the players, and this game designed with financial gain uppermost in the designers’ minds, makes this game feel harsh and cold. It feels like what it is: a moneymaking machine disguised as a game. And as I’ve observed the game’s behavior I’ve become convinced that it - like other moneymaking machines designed as games - uses deception to try to get you to spend. It puts you up against bots disguised as players which then beat you consistently until your “coins” are gone, at which point you have to either spend money on more “coins” or collect paltry rewards over a period of days in order to be able to play again. No thank you. Deletey time!

Solid game, but will get expensive!. Good game but it would help if you had more shot/club information and though not unique to this golf game it’s expensive. All golf games seem to be at least slightly more expensive then other games as a whole. In the real world it’s expensive so it being a game of affluence in life it makes sense that it has a higher amount of real cash in the gaming world. It’s pretty easy game to understand even without out practical knowledge of the game of golf itself but most likely won’t be of much interest to those without at least a passing interest to the real game. Compared to other golf games hitting the ball the right way, at least to me, is easier but more detailed shot distance and club distance would be helpful. I really have no actual complaints about the game just slight issues that you see in any game where you need to hit or shoot something with a certain amount of accuracy. It’s easier to play than other golf games, the issues with distance and accuracy will probably lessen with repeated play and it has above average replay ability. And the key issues with most free to play games is in app purchases which are slightly more expensive then other non golf games and competitive with most golf games.

Great golf game!. First, ignore those who are complaining about pay to play. I haven’t spent a nickel and I got to level 5 in a matter of days. You just have to be smart with your coins. Hint: don’t bet coins you can’t afford to lose! My rule of thumb is to only play a level when I have at least 3x the entry fee, and this rule has served me well in this game as well as Golf Clash. Speaking of Golf Clash, this game is very similar in gameplay but I **LOVE** that it is way more realistic. I have actually played Wolf Creek and Harbor Town in RL, so it’s really neat to play in this game. I also love the simultaneous play since it makes the game move along faster. The thing that gets me is that in this game, like in Golf Clash, it’s way too much of a penalty to hit it in the rough and it’s way too easy to sink putts. This is essentially a game of greens in regulation, and then closest to pin tiebreakers. Some have commented about heating up the phone: YES! This needs to be fixed. My iPhone 11 gets HOT after just a little bit of play. I would also love to see a mode where you could play multiple hole duels... like choose between 1 hole, 3 hole, 9 hole, and 18 hole. It would also be cool if somehow you could play a course in sequence. I’d love to play Harbor Town 1-18 for example. I still give the game 5 stars because it has blended the elements of what I like about Golf Clash with WGT. I’m excited to see how it evolves over time with updates and improvements.

Lose if you purchase. Was a great game and a lot of fun when I began but I made the mistake of making two purchases. I went from an excellent win % in the 70’s, hundreds of eagles, par a hole once every hundred games to losing to everyone I play 9 out of 10 games. People who’s numbers are a 1/5 of mine, who’s clubs are garbage because they’ve just started playing, suddenly are Tiger Woods in his prime. Those eagles I nail with putt and birdie like clockwork suddenly come up 1” short 9-10x and the rookie who’s on his 10th game ever? He just made a ridiculous sand shot from somewhere on Mars of course! And why is this? I made 2 purchases and never did again so it’s lose until you buy algorithm gonna keep hitting the pole instead of an eagle when you hit it perfect but nope ball bounces off and stops an inch short baby just an inch so close! So don’t ever ruin it for yourself learn from my experience never, ever, make a purchase because of you do not continue to keep making purchases you’ll hate this game in no time! I’m deleting it because I’ve had more than enough of the buy or lose b#%€!*#%

Manipulative. I started the game a couple days ago and started to enjoy it. I quickly realized however that unless you are going to pay you aren’t going to succeed. The game doesn’t give you any indication that your ball is going to bounce hard or soft. I hit two shots equally as well…one ended up not bouncing at all so it was short of the green and the other one bounced over the green. I even used a ball that I could get under more for more spin and it did nothing. Both were hit from the fairway, both had the wind about 7.1 into me and both were hit perfectly without extra power. Yet each one reacted completely different. Not to mention the fact that if you’re even a foot off the green you have to chip. This game is a ripoff and makes you feel like you will play well up until the point where you starting playing well. Then it gives you results that you shouldn’t have gotten. The ball rolling a foot into the rough after you hit a great drive and then not being able to move it forward basically at all shows that whomever created this game knows nothing about golf. I’m really disappointed. Every game in the App Store is a ripoff. Can’t there be one game that is legit!?

Has the bones for greatness but not there yet.. I love golf games. Literally the only app games I play are golf related. when I found this one, I was blown away by the graphics and mechanics. Definitely an upgrade from competitors out there. THESE PROBLEMS NEED TO BE FIXED THOUGH: 1) when I chip the ball, and it rolls and hits the pin; true pins are forgiving. If the ball gently hits it, the ball will always find its way to the cup in real life. In this game, the ball comes off the stick so hard! I can’t ever make a chip no matter how gently it hits the stick. This is a real problem that has lost me countless matches. 2) when I hit a shot at full strength, only sometimes; but the ball will just go way off the mark out of bounds or way short of the target. This is most likely a glitch but it has also lost me several matches. don’t get me wrong; all games has its problems, but make sure the problems are equal for everyone. This is something that needs to be fixed because I hit most of my shots at full maxed tension, and I have pretty good accuracy with it. Losing a stroke because of a glitch and the money from the match makes me stop playing out of fury. The rest of the game is pretty darn good. Don’t get me wrong, there’s other mechanics that need to be softened up. Some things are to robot or to precise. Everything needs to be loosed up a bit and refined. I’ll change the review to 5 if these 2 big fixes are made though!

A hole to throw money into. At first I loved this game. The graphics are stunning. Use of a variety of venues and interesting balls is nice. Yet some venues are ridiculous. Golf on ice? It was fun and exciting at first, but then just frustrating. Once you progress beyond a certain level, if you are less than perfect like I am, you have to spend money and lots of it to compete. There are annoying bugs but you have that in any game and I feel like they try to address them. What irks me is the lack of being able to know whether or not a shot into a green is going to go where I am aimed it or is it going to bounce like on a trampoline when it lands. At the pro tour level tournaments are like this: 1-5 place tie at say 22 under, 6-75 tie at like 21 under. What?! There is no way to just practice. No way to know where out of bounds is. And it seems the winners always win and the rest of us pick up what’s left. You sucked me in. I loved the game and now I feel betrayed. Like gambling I get to win just enough to keep coming back. Well no more. I’m out. This is my opinion and no doubt many others disagree. Fair enough.

Fun but frustrating. I always play games for awhile before I do in app purchases. I probably won’t pay to play this game. In a tie breaker situation your opponent can put his ball in while your lands on the green. If his ball went in the water closer to the pin then he wins. Many many times I have been equally matched with an opponent same ball same club same club upgrades just to have them outdrive me by a long ways. Even though I have hit perfectly according to the meter. I believe that the wind speed and direction is not applied equally to each player on the same tee box at the same time. Finally I have noticed that you can play for a couple of days and everything seems to be equal. You win some and lose some based on your ability. Then you will enter a period of you can’t win no matter how well you play. This will be followed by a period of you can’t lose even if you play very poorly. I have had opponents miss puts that are mere inches from the cup and mine will go in from 55 feet away. A fun game but for me not worth spending money on.

Great game with one HUGE PROBLEM. the graphics on this game are absolutely stunning. They’re the most realistic of any golf game available for mobile devices. I love that u don’t have to wait for other players and you’re not under a severe time restriction so u have to rush shots. However, the HUGE problem I’m referring to is probably going to end up being a deal breaker and will force me to stop playing soon unless there is a solution. The problem? Putting is an absolute travesty. There are only 2 outcomes WAY to often: 1) Either I wind up leaving the ball on the lip of the cup or I blow past it and wind up with an even longer putt than I started with. That elusive zone where you putt and leave it a few inches from the hole if u miss does not appear to be a repeatable option 75% of the time. That’s not a haphazard conclusion on my part either. I take my time and try to leave it as close to the hole as possible if it doesn’t drop, but that happy medium does not appear to exist. I’m hoping that a new putter will resolve this issue, just like other clubs I’ve received as I’ve advanced thru the game. However, there are no other putters listed like there are with all the other clubs, so this may not even be possible. Either way, unless something changes here shortly, I don’t see investing any more time or money into it.

Fun, but . . .. A lot of fun, but think it would be better if you were rewarded by how you played rather than how much money you’re willing to spend. Also, played 1000s of rounds and never hit my tee shot with a 15 mph wind at my back only to have that same wind in my face on my next shot. Played in many golf Royales where my last shot showed, say, 850 points, only to watch it add say 75 to my score. Played an 18-hole tournament, shot 21 under only to finish in 59th place. Winner by the way, double-eagled two par fives, eagled six par fours and had two holes in one. 30 under, pretty unrealistic, wouldn’t you say. Just played another golf royale and was rewarded 0 points on my last two shots which actually added up to over 1600 points. Should’ve been in 1st entering final round, but finished 22nd and missed the cut. Huh? Just played an 18 hole tournament the second it became available, and after one hole over half of the field of 200 players was already finished. Huh?

Great Game and App. I’ve been playing this game for more than a year and it’s really fun and a bit addictive. It reminds me of and is the closest golf app to the arcade game I used to play in various establishments, minus the effects of the rolling ball. The gameplay is awesome and there’s multiple ways to build your game tokens, cash, and golf equipment with daily challenges and free golf bags. The heads-up play and competitions keep you engaged. I don’t generally buy games or in game offers, and I probably don’t need to, but I’ll likely purchase just to get a leg up. I’ve had very few problems with the app and it works well 99% of the time. You do have to be online, so it doesn’t work offline. Every once in a while it has some issue connecting or downloading assets, but reconnecting to cell or WiFi service fixes it. Overall, this is my favorite iPhone game so far.

Almost but not quite... The game in itself, graphics and overall gameplay, is great but where it’s really lacking is in the details. Not being able to switch clubs during H2H matches and the royales is really frustrating. I get the idea that you play golf with a single bag of clubs but then why allow you to change them in tournament play? Either allow it across all play modes or not at all. Getting your best clubs upgraded completely will take you a very, very, very long time, I’ve been playing a year and have none of them upgraded to max and I’m playing in the top level bracket on a diamond level team in the top 10 so I’m getting that level perks and still can’t get enough points to max out even one club. The games algorithm seems to screw you over as well in the worst way when you don’t pay for some of the items such as balls or ultimate pass. You will miss shots a beginner could make at the worst possible times,last hole, need one put to qualify and it’s 3 ft and you miss... yeah it pisses you off but doesn’t matter you don’t qualify and so to bad.

It’s ok…. While no game Is ever going to capture the realism of any sport, there are a few things that are not anywhere near realistic. Club choices are limited. You can be one freaking inch on the fringe of the green. Guess what club you have to use. Hint. It’s not a putter. The most annoying aspect of this game is the extremely unrealistic effect that wind has on your ball and the 180 degree shifting winds on each hole. Wind doesn’t shift 180 degrees between shots on the same hole anywhere in the world. Also, the wind has a very very unrealistic effect on the ball. A 9-10 mph wind blowing right to left or left to right will move your shot 30-40 yards right or left from the direction it was hit 😂. Not only that, it will change the actual direction that you hit your shot. Up to 90 degrees 😂. A shot hit at the green in a direct line to the green can end up heading 60-90 degrees off to the right or left depending on the wind. That’s some special wind that can actually, at 10 mph, redirect the course of your shot that much 😂

Almost a great game. There is a lot to like about this game when compared to its major competitor, Golf Clash. The biggest thing I like best about Ultimate Golf is the ability to play holes at the same time as your competitors. I also love that there are more tournaments that you can play in almost daily. I have three issues however. The first is that it isn’t as user friendly trying to figure out how to play and earn badges. I still don’t understand it after a week. Second issue is all of the repeated pop up’s when you go back to the Home Screen. Very annoying. The final issue is the worst, and the single factor that might force me back to Golf Clash. It is WAY TOO HARD to make putts from even medium distance. Forget about longer ones. You can have it in the green and hit it dead center and it misses the hole completely. This game is harder than Golf Clash, which I actually like, but when you reach the green, it would be nice to have puts go in when you line them up right and him them dead center.

Sell Off Unwanted Balls. This game would be much better if there was an option to sell off some of the balls I don’t use and could help fund the purchase of the balls I pay real money for. I have 461 Pro D1 balls, 692 Cruizer balls, 576 Hi Flight balls, 548 Spyder balls, 466 Mojave balls, 204 Loop R balls. I am constantly buying better balls and paying for season passes, I’m not the best player by far and need all the help I can get and it would help if you offered some kind of an incentive to people like myself, and a way to justify our spending, like being able to sell back the balls we don’t use, like make a place in our accounts and to give us the option to get rid of some of the unused equipment to put it toward future purchases. Hopefully you developers will take this in consideration and start giving back something other than a new golf course that only cost the players money. I know that’s the name of your game, but cut me some slack here, would ya?

Fun game, but has its quirks. If you’ve played other similar golf games like Golf Clash, you’ll find this fun. It had its pluses, like daily tournaments, and other features and play modes that allow you to win prizes, and level up your equipment more quickly than other games like this. My one big problem with this game, is that game play is wildly inconsistent. Same shots can have very different outcomes. I’ll keep playing because it is fun, and you don’t have to spend crazy money to move up. I have yet to spend a dime. Just know going in that there will be times you say to yourself, “How the **** did that happen??” After another week of play, I’m downgrading a star. Gameplay is just so quirky that I question whether I’ll even continue playing. Moving the screen to get a better look at adjusting your shots for wind is very difficult, not smooth at all, and buttons are in bad places, and very sensitive. Have “accidentally” hit shots more than a couple times. Game has some really good qualities, but gameplay is so erratic as to be frustrating. Much better games of similar ilk on the market. Glad I haven’t spent a penny on it. Probably won’t be at it much longer.

Frustrating. The game definitely has issues that need to be corrected. I noticed what happens quite often on the green when you’re lined up to make your putt, you are lined up perfectly centered to the hole , (according to the putting aid showing you a green glow and the arrow is dead center of the cup ). you stop the swing meter perfectly center on the arrow and the ball does not even come close to the hole. Especially frustrating when the game is on the line. What is the point of having the putting aid if it’s not accurate. Update! Did not play this game for a while, gave it a rest. Tried again, and the same crap happens. You hit the ball perfectly straight you get this banner that says “ultimate shot”. But your ball misses the green completely. so how is that an ultimate shot? you hit it perfect and a ball goes wherever it wants. And as far as the putting aid goes, green light lights up and you’re lined up perfectly over the cup and you miss the cup by several inches somethings wrong . And also what’s funny, I noticed when you post a review you get this generic response exact wording for every issue that someone complains about. They want to know what they can do to make it better. Well there they’re experts supposedly they should be able to figure it out and make it more accurate. Time to delete!!!

Ultimately, a Money Grab. This is a good game until you reach Pro Level. At that point, you simply cannot advance in multi-round qualifying tournaments without spending money for the premium limited edition balls and pins. The only balls you can legitimately earn that can really get you through this level of play are Pro D1, Veteran Gold, and Rookie Silver and these are hard to come by. The other bag reward balls such as Hi-Flight, Mojave, Loop-R (definitely not Spider or Cruzer), are insufficient to get the scores you’ll need against cash-rich players. I used Hi-Flight and Mojave balls for a multi-round qualifier 9-hole and scored -10. Even with all birdies and an eagle (and sticking greens for very good tie-break scores), that wasn’t enough to advance beyond the first round of three! The developers have engineered the game mechanics to ensure failure without spending money on the premium options. Since I don’t care enough to advance (and most won’t), it’s time to quit this and save money for actual greens fees, and get some exercise in the process.

One major, obvious flaw. This game is pretty fun and addictive. Great graphic quality, very laid back attitude towards the game play (not super competitive), awesome daily giveaways (with basic things as to be expected) and overall good entertainment. One major, obvious flaw though. So much so that I’m actually writing a review, which I have NEVER done before. There is an obvious biased towards the people who play the game for fun and those who pay money to play the game. I guess that’s to be expected, however in features like “mini game”( which they give you two a day for free) when you use your free games it is OBVIOUS that the developers have a built in biased. Shots that you would originally crush with in the normal game play act completely different in the mini games. I would rather you not give me free games than to have them rigged against me. That one aspect is quite offensive to the player who just wants to enjoy some entertainment in their spare time. That’s why the score is so low. Otherwise, great game.

Complicated fun!!!. I loved this game so much!!! I could just cry. I totally got promoted right out of the joy of playing to the point that I deleted it. (even still having premium crap I’d purchased in my arsenal!) Not only could I not compete I couldn’t make a shot to save my life suddenly! I guess I lost my groove. I even went as far as starting a brand new account on another device, but having played like rookie and veteran all through that, I enjoyed it so much that I just couldn’t get into the lower tier stuff. I didn’t even keep that account. I really wish they would stop doing the automatic Monday promotion thing- there’s got to be a more fair system than what they’re using because you go from doing well to not even being able to get on the green and unfortunately, some of us are so mathematically challenged we will never be able to figure out the ring wind thing! Lord knows I tried. I watched videos I read all the Reddit comments I sat there with a notebook even & then I remembered I couldn’t pass algebra either. Lol. I swear if I didn’t know better, I would wonder if they just mess with you to get you to spend even more money when you’re already it’s like it’s not enough but I’m not gonna go there. I just lost my groove. Oh well, I found a new game to play but I will miss this one.

Simple and solid play, but a touch TOO simple and too much pay to play. The good: Gameplay is intuitive and simple. I like the layout and the ability to upgrade clubs. The bad: Unable to choose between clubs when hitting from the fringe or rough. There are times I would rather take my chances putting from the fringe, especially in a head to head if I need a tie to go to tiebreaker, but it simply isn’t an option. There are times I would rather hit a different iron form the rough, but again, I get zero choice in picking my club. The ugly: there is no solo pay option, no practice to learn how a new club handles, and no way to earn coins without risking the ones I already have. And if I have the misfortune of playing someone better than me a couple times in a row, then I have to wait hours for a free bag or pay to keep playing. This makes taking a risk to learn how well a club will slice/fade/backspin too much to try out in a match. And this makes the game far less fun than it should.

SCAM ALERT! Final putts may be prevented when playing against higher ranked players.. Played for a while but started to have the game prevent me from putting on many rounds when I was one stroke from winning. Not being allowed to swing the club particularly during your final put is not golf and any excuse about “working on fixing that” is a lie. I re-installed the game after three months to see if this “glitch” was fixed and it was not. I believe there is a scam to allow higher ranked players or those who have payed money to rank up to gain the advantage over lower ranked players or those who don’t pay to play. And this “glitch” of preventing lower ranked players from swinging their club just when they may beat the higher rank player is how they keep scamming higher ranked players into playing and buying more balls, clubs or however else this horrible company is stealing peoples money! If you like being suckered into spending your money on cheap gimmicks and feeling like a winner even though the game is rigged, then keep on playing!

Great game but needs massive improvements. This is the best golf game hands down on the App Store. But within the game there could be a lot of improvements. The shop, you shouldn’t not have to use “cash” to buy clubs or balls. You should be able use coins. Nobody is going to waste real Money for overpriced fake money to spend on overpriced clubs and balls. In between shots could be 4x faster. Everybody knows what an eagle and birdie and par and bogey are we don’t need a 1 minute pause to explain us that. The putting game could be a tweaked to be a tad more accurate because it feels rigged sometimes but it’s still a great game. So now it’s been a few days since I last left a review but this game is fr a joke when it comes to hitting out of the sand or the rough and the way the wind works and how you can’t choose which club you want to use. Gets annoying because I play golf and I could easily hit a wood from the rough to the green but In the game you can only chip it out of it out of the rough and they make it extremely hard to get a perfect shot unless it’s in the fairway. It’s too rigged

The best golf game going, but….. We all know the formula, you play the game , may or may not like it, decide to spend a little on it for entertainment etc. This is the most fun I’ve had on a cellphone game. I’ve played many and it usually quickly tries to get you to pay and then gets completely ridiculous. This game ….waits. It’s draws out your spending curve and brings you to high levels, in my case Tour Pro II, and then decides you are gonna play one on one with bots WAYYYY over your level that you will never win against. It’s more than challenging, it’s not even beatable. Also, you will only be able to earn balls that are AWFUL!!!. Want nicely unhandicapped balls you will pay dearly for them. I think there just needs to be a better balance. I’m tired of one on ones with ‘people’ 1000+ trophy points than me. Makes me want to quit the game which I would assume is what no app owner wants. Just my two cents 🙂

I want to love this game…. Up to 250 trophies and I’m having fun. Two biggest problems is the putting view is super low and horrible to see the pin to make a good shot. When the game is the problem not being able to make a shot, and not the players skill, it’s very frustrating knowing you just needed a better angle to see what’s going on to hard the middle of the hole. Let us move the camera around? Super frustrating, and the other thing is the 10 mph wind that blows your ball 30 feet one way or the other is ridiculous… I understand you guys want us to use the special equipment I get it. Up the wind to 20-30 mph to make it more realistic. For the guys that actually play the game these two things are a big turnoff. Everything else is setup very well and fun. I can see later on it will be pay to win but I never got that far because of the two problems above. I also wish there was a grid view of the course and green to see the angles better.

Great Game, but…. I’m really enjoying this game. Great graphics and game play but some improvements could be made. The wind direction seems to be random after each shot. Wind should be based on the original speed and direction and remain relative to the ball position for the duration of the hole being played. I’ve seen wind direction move 180° between shots. I also think that there should be a practice mode so players can become accustomed to the courses available. Players should be able to choose any club in the bag for each shot. The auto-selection of clubs is fine, (caddy selection), but players should be able to choose another club. Especially on the fringe of the green where I would choose a putter over an iron. Hopefully the developers will agree to some of these improvements. I’m sure other players will agree.

It’s great but odd in the spendings. I love the app it’s honestly one of the most addicting games to play. you have many options to play a variety of different courses, royales, and the big shot. my only complaint is that when buying balls and the what’s available. there is such a weak inventory of them and also the types of them. definitely need more variety when it comes to that department. while being on the notes for balls. I HATE ONLY BEING ABLE TO USE CASH TO GET THEM. cash isn’t easily accumulated through a day of play. balls that (i would say are average) are 75 and the best are 220 and to make it better with a quantity of 10. i know a lot of users don’t like paying a lot just to play. i just personally would only spend like $5-$8 a month on this only because it cost so much to get not that much in return. overall i just would evaluate the cost of things and how they can be paid for. that would make a lot of this easier for other users or younger user that can’t spend a lot of games. it would keep things more competitive as well so everyone has a chance at getting similar balls/clubs also leveling up would be easier

If you don’t pay, they make you pay…... Good game, I have, and never will spend a dime on it. Too expensive. IF you choose to play it like I am, just be prepared for the games developers to make life hard. On head to head matches you will run 10 or more games where you can not win short of a hole in one. You will also be matched with opponents WAAAAY above your level, sometimes double or more where you are. On some tourneys they make it next to impossible to hit the green in regulation, ensuring you score poorly. Back to those H2H matches….On the playoff hole is where they get you. I hit 20 feet away my opponent hits 18. I hit four feet away, opponent hits two. You will see when it’s happening because the opponent does not hit until AFTER you have hit. Some issues with ball not reacting to how it should in wind, but I’m tired of typing. Just know, you can play without spending cash, but be prepared for the game to cheat you out of some wins etc…..just deleted the game/app. Got tired of the cheating SOB. I never spent a single dime on it and I guess they track that cause it started making play very inconsistent, a shot that stopped short of the green on one shot flies and runs over it in similar conditions. The wind also is assbackwards, affecting the short shots waaaay more than the driver etc…so long jerks….”let’s go ultimate golf”

Rigged if you do t pay. Like others have said, if you don’t pay for stuff, it is rigged against you. Drop to a level below course and the opposite player is a “guest” with twice your rating. You get 2 feet from pin in a tiebreaker, the “guest” get 1 foot. The ball rolls along just enough to be in the fringe so you can’t putt. I like to play, but hate being blackmailed. I don’t buy stuff in games, I play for entertainment. I get you want to make money, but either require pay for play, or let players play, but don’t use the computer to cheat for you. Update: I sent an email to them complaining, and have lost every game since! They say they have no influence, but the last two games the guest couldn’t get on the green in 2 shots, but both magically chipped from well off the green into the cup. And then both were less than a foot in the tiebreaker. I went from 50,000 coins to under a 1000 and never shot less than a birdie, and always within 10 feet in tiebreaker most of the time much closer but still lose every time. THEY CHEAT IF YOU DON’T PAY.

Not worth the time. Your typical mobile game where after they make you like the game then they make it unplayable unless you drop some cash. From consistency problems to having next to no friction between the ball and grass this game is a massive hunk of... Not to mention half the time the “9mph” wind can carry your ball from one end of the fairway to the other and usually it will continuously roll until the rough because the green and fairway has no friction it’s like a sheet of ice (even with full backspin on the ball). I’m honestly not even mad about it after the fact half the time tho because the people who play this game are just not good I’ll end a tournament at like -4 or -5 and be upset only to find out I came in like the top 5. I don’t hate this game but some things are just bad, honestly I think a bunch of people who don’t play golf decided to make this game which is fine just don’t expect this to be a very good virtual representation of golf because it’s not. The only thing I really hate about this game is the wind and I’m only playing with it at like 10mph like the game will literally be unplayable if the winds are any stronger

Nope, not accurate. No matter who makes the golf game they never get it right. A wedge, even in the hands of a beginner, will NOT roll 60 feet past the hole if it is hit anywhere near normal. Courses are built with the normal winds FOR THE SEASON you are playing in. No hole will have a 10mph wind in your face off the yee and at your back on the very next shot. You also don’t let the player choose their clubs. I’d NEVER use a wedge in the fringe. Or a wedge in the rough. Especially in short rough from 170yds out. Maybe talk with the PGA Pro that runs these famous courses and LEARN what even a beginner player knows: physics are in play. Hitting out of a bunker is different than rough. So, the balls will act differently when struck perfect and another way when hit thin or fat. If your player nails it perfectly then give them the spin it deserves. Hit it incorrectly then let it run or shanked. Have your coders actually go out with the Pro who runs their local course. You’d be AMAZED at how much these guys love to talk about golf and love to teach. Try it. THEN you’ll see more “wish i could give it more than 5 stars. As it is, three is all i can honestly give.

Cash player or not, game is a great time passer!. Definitely a fun game. I put a lot of time into it already and am as interested in it as I was when I first started. They have a free pass and a premium pass that you can pay $20 for. If you only play free pass, the rewards are pretty decent. If you can spare the money, it is DEFINITELY worth it. You get so many bags to open, in game currency, and different balls to collect to use in a head to head game or a tournament. There are multiple tournaments daily. Some cost coins, some in game currency, some actual money. Only real negatives I have to the game, is sometimes the matchmaking is kinda nuts. You could be sitting at around 500 and end up playing someone with 1,000+ who has better clubs and more balls to use. Also, some of the cash tournament rewards are kinda lackluster for spending real money on it. Whether you play free or you play with cash, I’m sure you’ll get some enjoyment out of it!

Potential ruined by greed. Lets just be real. You have a 10’ put. The line is straight, the bright green indicator light is lit up to the max that your on target..you draw back your speed perfect to roll past the cup 6”..you strike the put perfectly and MISS!?!?!? Ive been playing a month and it gets worse as you get ranked higher. Then you see the expensive “premium”ball u can buy have a 4% increase in put accuracy and it all becomes clear. You simply cant compete unless you spend big amounts of money. A premium ball costs a weeks worth of earned gold and can only be used for ONE HOLE!?!?!?!?. Also you have a left to right wind on the tee shot, so need to land the ball on the left side of the fairway for a better approach shot into the green with that left to right wind only to learn the game switched the wind 180 degrees for the approach shot, eliminating any advantage you got from proper ball placement in the fairway with your driver. Ridiculous. Im a 6 handicap golfer and find this game to be a waste of time learning it to only learn u cant compete without spending big money.

Game play in tournament is rigged 😡. Game play and aim line is extremely poor .!!! I had a 3.5 tail wind which is straight at the hole with a clear aim guide direct to the hole, I hit the standard ultimate shot which is right in the centre of the swing simulator and they put me deep in the bush behind the trees 🌳 if this was the case and the guide looked good I would take the shot which I did and if the guide was red I wouldn’t of taken that swing path .How is this accurate ? when it guides me Clear and I hit it perfect but I end up in the bush , how can I trust the game play at all 😡please explain this to me how this works because you would expect my shot to be be good if everything shows in favour of the shot .

Solid golf game. Actually a great, easy to learn game. Once you have more players and less bots it will be amazing. Currently very hard to win on the 5th tour (10K per round) purely based on they’re always bots and nearly always birdie and then hit within 5 foot on the green. Otherwise a great game. Love the different game modes and the unlimited pin bags. Really sets itself apart from other games. Maybe suggest increasing the reward for referring friends and sharing gifts? 500 coins is practically nothing. Also increase the amount of coins in bags. The tour 5+ bags should have at least 10K coins

Great game but.....CPU players are obvious. A really great all round golf game. The better you upgrade the better you are. My only reservation is the clear bots you play in 1V1 and the BIG SHOT is the really bad. If you pay for 3 shots and correct each shot accordingly (like walking it in) somehow each delivery changes massively....one shot hitting the cusp roles 20 yards but the second shot hitting the tip of the green/rough (with the holes 8 feet from the rough roles 1 yard. The wind also seems to change in the big shot even though it stays the same on the metre!

Best golf game yet!. Finally a fairly balanced game. Plenty of rewards (although I think the money awarded for the higher level rounds needs to be looked at ie the money from a chest you won from a $100k game may be only $400). The fact there are two tournaments run each day plus mini tournaments every hour is a real winner. Then there is the big tournament over the weekend, so there is plenty of scope for varied play.

Don’t spend money with this app. I was killing it and really enjoying this game until I splashed out and spent $30 on coins so I could play heaps more. Up till then I had over 280 cups and now I cannot win a game. It’s as if the algorithm is set to recognise a “spender”. It knows you will buy more coins when you run out so it’s making you lose. Okay. I appreciate the response from the Devs and I am still playing Ultimate Golf. Must admit it is still much harder to win than when I hadn’t spent money and flagged myself as a spender. However I get it and I understand

Ultimate golf. I’ve been playing now for a few months , good game , although I achieved a veteran level and a variety of clubs and achievements the game was cleared and went right back to beginning not to pleased

iPhone 11 Pro Max issues... This is a fantastic golf game to pass the time. The fact that you don’t have to wait for the other player to take their shot before you can is a great feature. However my iPhone 11 Pro Max gets incredibly hot once I start playing. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

No way to learn but playing. This app is pretty compelling but there is no consistency or tutorial built in to the game. It BADLY NEEDS this, otherwise the comments around inconsistency are all fair… There are many bots chewing up your hard won points and dollars… So be aware of that too… Actually it is so bad once you have got to a decent level. There is NO consistency at all with shot making. I have been playing for two years - with a 12 month break because of these challenges! I am about to uninstall it… It’s so frustrating… Check out all the 1 star reviews - they are accurate!

Repetitive boredom.. Takes so much time to achieve simple tasks. I refuse point blank to buy any game online. The so called enhancements would send anyone financially broke if they were a complete idiot to make any of the in game purchases. I warn all players of this game and any other internet game to be fully aware of the cons and scams attached to internet games. These games have the motto of “BLEED THEM DRY, UNTIL THEY DIE”. Be like me and never ever buy anything with your hard earn’t money on any internet site. The internet is full of thieves by the billions. This game is a scam, be warned people.

Looks good BUT. Sorry, but on my iPad this game was impossible to play. The hit the ball icon was under another icon. Touching this icon to aim and drive was trial and error - mainly error, and my shots were constantly timed out. The course looked great but I just couldn’t play and gave up. FYI iPad in portrait orientation. Developer ..... Also the introductory instructions were very small and difficult to read. But main issue was just couldn’t play.

All over, just when I started to get into it.. Just when I was starting to get into this game, acing just moved into the rookie rankings, I lost 12 head - to - heads in a row! I lost $47k of game coins in an hour, to the point where I couldn’t play without having to pay. Seems a bit fishy to me! If you have a bad run, ok. But even when you drop back the tours, I was playing better players on tour 1 than I had been on tour 4. How does this make sense? It seemed like the game was geared to for me to lose, just so I would have to pay money it it. I get the model, but I’ve now deleted the app off my phone... Enjoyed it while it lasted, but prob not worth a download unless you like games with in app purchases. Even came back for another crack $210k lost in 5 holes. Won’t be back!

Eraser. I would have given it 5 stars but when you putt the gauge is not accurate sometimes it misses even if you let it go on the middle point. I wouldn’t have mentioned it if it didn’t happen to me on more than 5 occasions. Fix that and I will give it 5+. Cheers.

Fair but too repetitive. 90-95% of head to head games end in tie breaker. Then it’s a closest to the pin, one off shot. Meaning you can be ultimately unrated and win. I think game is good. However the Putting aspect should be more realistic. It’s just as easy to sink a put from 1 foot as it is from 18foot. The cursor speed for timing should increase in speed the further the putt needs to be. This would make it realistic so that you don’t sink every put from distance. This would also help games stop going to tie breaker so much and reward the player who puts their approach only couple of feet away from the hole, and make the player who putts from 20feet earn their putt! If you sink it then, you deserve a playoff! Makes game too repetitive, head to head, tie breaker and repeat

Great game. Way better platform of game play than Golf Clash but holy dooly the amount of times it crashes before teeing off or on a tied hole where you are forced into a shootout is amazing. I’ve lost soooo much money due to it crashing. Until this is fixed I won’t be buying any packs to help me out because I’m afraid of loosing real money due to crashing.

Teething problems, but looking great. Apart from a few bugs, this game is great. Clearly borrows a lot from a rival app but having said that - the changes to gameplay in this (side by side duelling so no waiting for a shot clock, as well multiple tourney attempts to name a few) make for an exciting, fast paced change for the better. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to see where you can take this! 👍

Great fun. Enjoy the game, although get a little annoyed with the constant attempt to make me pay money! I,d prefer to be able to buy the app and be able to play.

What’s going on?. The game play is great and I do enjoy it but the issues I’m having is the fact that it crashes all the time. I tried to play an 18 hole event today and it crashed 32 times in 18 holes. I have had issues with it before where I enter an 1000 coin head to head and just before it starts to play it shuts down and by the time I load it again I have a penalty stroke and loose the hole because of a time violation. I would like to upgrade my clubs and enter more tournaments but there’s not a chance while it continuously shuts down and costs me coins. Please fix whatever it is that makes this happen and you might get a customer who’s willing to spend $10 a month upgrading things and playing more tournaments.

Fake profiles to increase revenue!. This game is littered with fake accounts in head to head matches; all fake accounts have no recorded playtime yet shot 25 under par. I don't have a problem getting a beat; however, being cheated is another story. Update: I’ve submitted feedback via email and received this reply ‘Please note that we are not able to give updates regarding this issue. Game development is very complex and some issues might take some time to fix, but we're thankful for your report. Also, please be aware that in cases of lost currency, we are unable to compensate you, since according to our Terms and Conditions Miniclip is not liable for any in-game currency losses.’ My feedback of a one star rating stands! Good concept but glitches galore!. The game itself is good, but it is littered with glitches. Things like clubs having different ranges from the fringe compared to the rough or fairway. Tournaments being littered by bot accounts. Game crashing, constantly…or not opening at all. If I get a response at all it will be a condescending reply asking for my suggestions on how to make the game better and “we’ll be waiting for your suggestions, cheers.” Here’s an idea: get your dev team to fix the range issues, ban bot accounts, and stabilise the game so that it doesn’t crash 10 out of 18 holes played. Other than that, fantastic game :) WOW! Do you even read? I got exactly the response I expected! READ THE FEEDBACK. I have already said what I think needs to be done, I am not an app developer so a:not in a position to tell you how to do your job. Fix the known issues and the game will improve, or just keep collection coin…

Great game -The Best!!. I have accumulated a decent sum of Coins but unfortunately all I can spend the Coins on is club upgrade’s, tournaments and challenges, great. I can’t buy ANYTHING IN THE STORE with in game coins? Please make some changes, the the best for you and us the players???

Stay Away. Rigged!!! Whether you pay or not, full of bots and random changes to functions to force you to keep buying in app purchases. Don’t waste your time or money.

This game blows my mind. I love this game so much because you can play with other players and do golf and you can continue doing it and I have played golf in real life and it’s the same!

Great game but……. It’s hard to understand why when playing Rising Stars that the game takes away almost everything you play so hard to get immediately after you lose a game on the next level up. It’s consistent in that the cross wind speeds are consistently inconsistent and the seemingly pre-determined losers make the game a love-hate thing. Players with a lower number of cups appear to have an advantage over those with more. STOP STEALING FROM ME!!!!

Good game overall.. When playing timed royals one shot competition events full pics of other players block the vision of where the flag/hole is. Seems like an unfair advantage for those taking a shot a few seconds later than others.

Worst Game Ever. This game is the worst ever! I played a tournament and my playing partner was Even and I was -1 (they were finished) I was about to go -2 and I putted the ball and it missed even though the line up was green flashing and I released it in the middle of the arrow. The ball also rolls into the rough all the time even when you hit an “ultimate shot” Overall, this game is useless and it always wants you to lose

ROBBED OF CASH. A great game. BUT….am I the only one who has noticed that when coins are “added” from Rewards - the coins aren’t added to your total. The total simply remains the same. Happens so so often and it’s just plain wrong.

Could be perfect with a couple of fixes.. I enjoy the game and play most days. But it can get infuriating at times! I’ve missed so many easy shots because the wedge will never make the distance to the hole from the fringe of the green, no matter how much top spin, how hard you hit it, with a tail wind and even using the club with the longest shot! I’m using a club rated at 94 yards and it can make the green from the fairway, but from much closer it will always stop inches from the hole if hitting from the fringe. Also it would be nice to be able to select a different club for each shot. I’m not willing to pay for a subscription until things like that are fixed. It’s quite realistic in many ways, but issues like this just make the game seem rigged.

Wish I had less reasons to be frustrated. I love this game ... pitting myself again other players in a realistic setting. BUT, I have lost more games to app crashes than I have through my own inadequate play. It’s one thing to cop a bad game you’ve played, but it’s another thing altogether to constantly lose to forfeit because the app has crashed. Probably never played more than two games in a row without losing progress, coins, etc., to an app failure...

Great Game. A game where you can come and go as you please. Can be quite challenging. Only down side to this game is the pay to play for the premium. Can’t use in game cash. You pay $30 for one season and that’s it, doesn’t roll over with a reward system to get the next season(premium) with in game cash rewards etc. That’s the only change I would like to see.

Makes you go easy. In my life of gaming, I feel lucky to have had this game forced upon me by my old acquaintance Boredom EnThrone. The realistic and precise xd4 detail in flowing rivers, especially in aerial ‘drone’ shots eased the process of evacuating my bowels. Gameplay on iPad is fair but unforgiving during initial shots. (The appliance and my hands- and lower arms too, were forensically cleaned with Detol items.) I recommend this game for those constipated by comparatively mundane golf games.

Repetitive and Rigged. Started off as a solid good golf game. You soon see there are fake profiles and the game is more focused on making money than providing something better than competitors. As soon as you go up a class you get out-matched and you got offered better equipment for real money. Was good for first couple of days but will will not play anymore.

Great Game. Great game to play when you’re killing time like in patient waiting room. So far so good haven’t had to pull out my credit card for in app purchases yet but it’s ok so far

What a waste of time.. Been playing for a couple of months. Now app won’t even load. Deleted and reinstalled and it consistently freezes during the tutorial. The game is blaming my Internet Connection which is simply not true as everything else I have connected to the internet works perfectly. I lost over $1m in coins and upgraded clubs. Shame because it is actually a pretty decent game.

Summary. The algorithms for wind direction and speed are incredibly poor. One shot down wind next shot head wind all in a straight line. Then fluctuates between 4mph to 15mph. Once into Monsters of Golf tour its birdie every hole and decided by nearest the pin. Not very creative from the developers. Tournament play is much better but after awhile the same courses becomes boring. Developers need to put a bit more thought into it.

This is the best golf game at the Apple store, however…. It is terribly dysfunctional and net the screen freezes all the time. I’ve tried to use it often on since iOS 13 and even at iOS 15.7 the screen still freezes often costing me the game and money I had bet on the round. The developers here need to get with Apple and find out what the heck is going on. Great game, but marginally functional!

Stop fiddling with it. What was a fun game has now been “updated and improved” and is riddled with glitches which result in interruptions to play, or crashes, usually when youd prefer they didnt happen! If they would only get it to work… :(

Not realistic. For such good graphics, it’s action and movement is so unrealistic, I have never seen a ball stop instantly without roll or roll of a green after a tap and back spin instigated..... Not impressed

More holes less wind 💨. I really like the game quite addictive the only issues I have is not enough variation of holes to play on the different courses more HOLES to stop it from getting boring playing the same ones all the time. Plus the wind is ridiculous you play a perfectly good shot even trying to allow for the wind and it goes way of course that’s a real let down. Also I hit 4 birdies from a bunker and didn’t even get any points 🤔🤔. Other than that games all good but you really need to do an update to sort these problems.

Addictive. I have played computer golf games since the 1980s. This is up there amongst the best. I really like the speed of play. I like the fact that putting is a challenge, unlike Golf Clash where you can go months without missing putt. I miss the interaction of “clans” or “teams”, that would be on my wish list. Keep up the great work guys.

Love this game. There was once an old DOS game on called PGA tour.. and I loved that game.. This is about as close as you can get.. The only thing I would want to see is the ability to play a full tour of golf.. like four good rounds of 18 holes.. rather than just small competitions of 9 or 18 holes or head to head.. Awesome game!! Well worth it!! Graphics are great!

Support does not help when a bot/hacker beats you. I was enjoying the game, except during one of my matches it became clear I was playing a bot/hacker. So I started take screen shots as proof and reported them. Guess what support said: “We won’t compensate you- it’s in the terms and conditions”. Remember, I provided proof, and they still didn’t return the coins I used for the match! Some of the matches can get quite expensive, so if you spend real money on this game keep in mind support doesn’t care if someone steals it from you: they just tell you “tough”.

They want your $$ like most apps. After a few days of playing it becomes impossible to play whenever you want without paying $$$ there’s enough adds already in the app and without paying there is no seamless playing whenever you want so it really limits the experience and enjoyment of the actual continuous game play without $$ which is pretty sad because it is quite a good game to play when one can!!

Cheating. Thieving cheats they have ruining a good app by manipulating and cheating the inventors should be barred some of the things the do Chipping the short shoot Putting short shoot stopping ball far to long Teeing off they land you in the rough when you hit a perfect tee off They blank you out after you have holed a birdie And all of sudden the opponents have tied for a shoot out I’m shoot outs they deliberately make your ball always run longer and so on

Great potential. This game has some great potential. The inconsistency of the greens and wind etc. make the game extremely frustrating. It seems every time you account for the wind it has no effect on the ball yet if you don’t the ball os blown well off course. The greens are basically like concrete making it very frustrating. Game crashes constantly. Would be happy to invest money in this game if they could fix the issues.

Far more option then other golf game. Really enjoyable. Lots of different play options and doesn’t need purchases to be fun and or competitive.

Fake profiles and no or little support. I’m sure that I’m not the only one playing this game and knowing that there are fake profiles programmed to beat you in an effort to increase revenue. I know for sure that in a head-to-head tie breaker, the fake profiles are going to place the ball very nicely close to the flag (approx. 2 feet). 100% agree on the comment left by Danny too. I sent my feedback on lost rewards a couple of times in the past and have received the very same response and excuse from them. I’m getting tired from being cheated!!

Terry. The game is heaps of fun and good to use. The only issues I have with it is the server has the odd issue at times and the other is to progress with items won by daily missions you complete to receive rewards is you can’t get them in the veteran level. To get the rewards past this stage you need to spend $30.

One of the best Golf Games to date. Great golf game and gets better with experience. Can trundle along nicely without the need to make any purchases as long as you have the patience. Would have liked a ‘practice’ mode but apart from that, the game is incredibly good 👍🏼

Trophy robbery!!!!!!. I’ve just finished a number of rounds and I’m noticing that at the completion of the game and having won the game that trophies are not being attributed to my trophy count. 1st world problem I know , but you did ask for feedback. Haaaaa

Fix these. Game is fairly okay but need smaller countdowns for basic rewards that take up every slot which makes you lose all your food rewards! Update also makes my game freeze and the cash is unrealistically difficult to accumulate because U cannot open rewards because you have to wait 1 at a time for upwards 18 hours at a time is utterly ridiculous

Fun!. Great golf game to play!

You have to spend $. It’s obvious you have to spend $ to get further. As well as the mini game area; do not expect the ball to roll the same…it’s a bit ridiculous but other than that it’s ok

Freezing. The servers can be very slow and I have been removed from a hole even though I didn’t do anything. Bugs to work out. Game is fun and I enjoy it but not the freezing.

UG. It stops downloading sometimes in the middle of a round. And it won’t let you back in to that tournament but will let you do other tournaments that day.

Crashes intermittently & heavily favours pay-to-win. I first thought this was a great golf app, but as an active daily user with a fairly high ranking, it’s become apparent how much the game is created to spend money. The use of bots play a heavy role here too, amongst other bot-related issues. The amount of popups that push in-game purchases is also very annoying. Furthermore, the game seems to be crashing a lot lately, in the middle of matches, leading to losses and other issues. Support was of no help here. I really wanted to like this game, but will need to step away for now 🥱

Real review (please read). It’s amazing that phone games are 4x as expensive as any console game. The in game purchases are not worth it. I can play a game like Call of Duty and purchase a season pass for $10 here they want $28… YOU KIDDING ME!!! For what? This game is a spin off of another golf game so development was already done. Then we have balls that you can purchase but DONT keep. These types of micro purchases are the worst! Complete rip off folks. I appreciate game developers but it’s time to start getting reasonable or you will be eaten up by console cloud gaming like Microsoft is working on. I respect no adds but please start being reasonable with pricing and I can change my review. I might even consider spending some money, but at these prices, nope!!!

Horrible. Game mechanics are horrible. You’re in the rough or sand when you’re actually not. Random bounces off a tree branch. I wouldn’t waste your time on this one.

Putting Problem. The putting is cool and fun but sometimes when it says it’s going in the hole it either goes over it or it’s to short please fix this

Developers have rigged the game. You don’t play against other players. You actually play against bots programmed by the developers. The bots make all shots from around the green. The developers just hope you spend money to beat the bots , skill doesn’t matter.

Developers violate their own privacy policy. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! Apart from the obvious reasons others state, I played for nearly 2 years and competed at the highest level in the game. One of the country clubs in the game, Whiskey Business, has direct access to the game developer such that the developers are willing to violate their own privacy policy on the behalf of this country club and therefore conduct illegal activities against players in the game including me. EVERYTHING else in the game is rigged as well including head to head, to how they bracket tournaments, to even changing advertised rewards half way through a tournament. The game is essentially run by criminals and if anyone out there is putting a class action lawsuit together, please contact me and add me to the list of plaintiffs!

Overall great game. I know there are a lot of people complaining that you can’t do well in the game without spend a lot of money, but that is not totally true. It is true that people who spend money have better balls and equipment but you can do well on many tournaments without spending money. Overall, I find this to be a very entertaining game. Sometimes the physics seem a little off, but fun to play and I’ve spent very little in the game. Developers don’t work for free however so not sure what the naysayers expect :)

Ultimate Golf. I saw ads for it playing mini golf king and I thought I’d give it a try. I love it. I had the perfect swing golf app and I find this one’s better.

Good game. I tried to review twice before but for some reason my review is not being posted. Trying again. Head to head pairs you up with bots that will bring your score down. Tournaments are ok and so is the golf royal. Ok game with no ads but like a lot other reviews about the game if your not spending money they will bring you down in scores and make it harder for you. Edit to Head to Head. Currently on 30 loses in a row. Hitting the pin to lipping out.

This game is nothing more than a money grab. I would not recommend this game to anyone, this game is worse than any one of the scam games found in an arcade because at least you know your going to be ripped off. This game has inconsistent shots, the wind has the weirdest effects on your shots when it should affect the shot in a complete opposite way. You will see that shots you have made consistently all of a sudden don’t turn out the same every time. Also I think the game engine is designed so that when your a higher ranked and scored individual playing against lower ranked individuals it will make it so they have a better chance of winning. This game is fixed and rigged and also nothing more than another candy crush saga money making game because all the challenges require you to use a certain golf ball which you can only obtain by buying the “ultimate pass” save your money and stop funding theirs and crooks!

My early experience. So far my only issue is getting the better clubs. It takes far too long and fairly frustrating meeting opponents with the driver so far. Otherwise enjoying the game.

Pro- It’s Free (with in app purchases ) Cons- Inconsistency of play.. The game is fine for a free game. Easy to figure out how to hit the ball. Putting is the same. What I dont like about the game is the Inconsistency of the game, wind and or club distance and how it affects the ball, sometimes a 5mph wind does very little to affect the flight and sometimes it will move the ball over an entire width of the fairway. The higher expense courses seems to be some unfairness there. I have lost on so many eagles and double eagles from the fairway than I can’t possibly imagine. I seem to be playing it less and less because of this fact. I would rather pay for a game where it’s a more level and consistent game. And yes I understand you can add spin and better balls. But I make apples to apples comparisons.

Beautiful graphics and the game is amazing.. My biggest concern an issue is that when all. Your opponent picture is blocking the hole you can’t see the whole to line up your shot. And as far as your purchase you guys cash. The money we spend personally to purchase your cash doesn’t equal up to the dollar amount or your dollar amount don’t matches up to your coins it’s a very off-balance issue not saying you should match dollar for dollar but at least let us purchase y’all money to purchase coin A little equal to y’all still getting over almost as far as purchasing money to purchase coins is steel highway robbery either way you look at it. Make dollar amount equal out to similar Match.

Only a few problems…. I really enjoy the game. For the most part it functions correctly but, it’s inconsistent with launching my putt. One hole I’ll have no problems I pull back and release in line with my aim. But the next hole it won’t release. It just bounces the aim back to pre aim and no matter how many times I pull back it won’t putt and times me out. Other times it will shoot straight and the next will let it go twisting the putt off the track. Just follows my thumb and sending the ball who knows which direction. So my request would be 1. Make the putt release more consistent, 2. Make the aim consultant as well. I can’t one shot go straight and direct toward the hole and the next send the ball off and back onto the fairway. If my aim was always fouled up that would be one thing but it’s not. Buggy

Game needs a lot of work. There are a bunch of issues with this game that need to be addressed. When your approach shot land on the fringe of the green you should be able to select your putter for the shot and not be forced to use a wedge. Almost everyone that actually golfs will use there putter in this situation. In regards to the tie breaker I can’t count how many times I’ve been in a tie breaker and the opponent has hit their shot into a water hazard or bunker and my shot is on the green but they still win because they are considered closer to the pin. Sorry but that’s wrong and needs to be changed to closest to the pin ON THE GREEN not just whoever is closest to the pin in general. These are just a couple of examples in a game that is very flawed. Also I love how when there is a developer response on a review it’s just an automated one and doesn’t even remotely address the issues in the actual review.

Plying with your mind…. Played this games for ,several months daily… slowly builds you up to advance… but after you get moved up, as your learning the game, the algorithms change and you have no way to excel unless your spending all your coins and cash for bonus items. You can’t afford those unless you pay to buy club coins or cash. You make a level to play tournaments, but can’t afford buy ins. I played two days in a row and the wind variation changes no matter the reading… it might say 7mph, but changes directory of ball as if it’s 11mph. You reduce pointer and club swing and your landing no where you should. Frustration to figure, but you can’t beat the computer calculations. Even during head to head… algorithms had me loosing 8 consecutive matches… I don’t think I’m keeping this game. All my family golfers will be deleting the game to. Like anything, you have to pay to win, not be skilled to play!!!

Tons of issues. While writing this review I’ll try to be unbiased and forget the fact that this game is totally copying Golf Clash... There’s just a few big issues holding this game back from being playable. The putting mechanic is broken. I’ll be holding back a putt and it will automatically release without me lifting my finger. And the hole mechanic is also broken. I’ve had tap-ins perfectly struck that hit the back of the hole and bounce out. So if you can’t consistently rely on the game mechanics, it’s unplayable. The clubs are also basic and not really fun to get or level up, but that’s not a huge deal. Finally, the hole design is really garbage. What Golf Clash got right is some really well designed holes that play great for beginners with crappy clubs AND experts with high level clubs. These holes are basic, have only one way to play them, and don’t offer enough variability to score anything but a tie with your opponent. It’s not fun when every game ends in a CTP.

Don’t bother. While it may show you playing another player, it seems like you are actually playing a computer. Tournament play is nice, but head to head play requires a closest to the pin shot for any ties. “Opponent “ will always hit it closer to the pin. Wind effects on ball is extremely inconsistent, no way to judge effect on shots. Other than basic ball, a ball is removed from your inventory of balls for every hole. Putting line is misleading, causing a player to miss putts. Only way to advance seems to be spending money on “packages “ offered. Game does not allow for club changes, you must use the club they tell you to use. Green firmness is inconsistent and some greens will not allow you to stop the ball on the green. Support is a joke, asks repeatedly for issues with the game, sends emails that you can’t respond to. Miniclip has developed some great games but fell miserably short on this one. Recommend any other golf game over this one

Fun .. but flawed. Nice graphics .. decent play .. BUT - 1) ... there is NO WAY TO PRACTICE. No practice putting green, no driving range, no way to just play nine or eighteen by yourself. You “improve” by paying for better clubs, better golf balls, and paying to play in nine- or eighteen-hole tournaments once a day. This feels to me like a cash grab. 2) ... the competition mode is way too cluttered. Everyone is playing at the same time; shots fly by as you set up shots, and the Player Icons can block the line to the pin when you try to putt. 3) ... at the beginning level, you get no club choice. The game assigns you a club based on ball position. On the fringe of the green? Here is your deep rough iron. You cannot putt from the light fringe; you cannot use a fairway wood if you are in light rough. 4) ... once you get within 100 yards or two shots of par, you get no idea of distance to the pin unless you are on the green. 5) ... attempting to putt from more than 20 feet is nearly impossible. The marker you use to line up the distance is difficult to see under the best of circumstances; in tournament play, with other players on the green at the same time, it is horrible. All this said, I visit every day and try to play. Some days I even leave the game not angry. Which makes it just like real golf ...

Frustrating Game. This game has a lot of cool features but when it comes to gameplay, not so good. Putting can be awful, the wind isn’t consistent for similar speed making it really tough sometimes, the game crashing on big money head to head games losing your entire entry fee, being paired up with people that are twice the level as you, etc. The game is fun for a week or two, then you start to realize that maybe it’s a pay for play scam. You can’t compete the further you get along. Go on these massive losing streaks. I know I just didn’t randomly get terrible at this game but somehow I can’t win anything now. All I do is consistently lose coins. Also feel that they always hit second and you can be 5 ft from the pin and someone will land like a ft from the pin. And it’s consistently happening. Liked the game early on but very frustrating and led me to delete the game. Don’t waste your time with this game. A lot better options out there.

Great with One Caveat. Love this game. But please vary the winds speeds on the tournaments. Inevitably they are 9-12 mph, unlike HTH competitions, forcing every single drive, etc. to make the same offset calculation. Some tourneys should be 1-2, 4-5, even 15-20 mph gusts would be more interesting. Thanks for considering this, because otherwise this is one of my all-time favorite apps. Great gameplay, fair balance of free and PTP options, truly great graphics. Thank you for your work on this. Oh and one last thing :). The hole-in-one animation is not really much different than the eagle: given how rare they are, maybe more fireworks would be nice!! Everyone reading this: if you haven’t already, download this game now! You won’t regret it!

Lousy competition algorithm ruins game. First, the good: this is a great looking game, the gameplay mechanics are intuitive and fun, and the no-waiting on your opponent feature is great. However, the algorithm for matching you with same-skill level opponents is so bad that I have had to quit playing. I am only a “Rookie I”, just one step up from the bottom level. The game will only let me play in “Pro” or “Tour Pro” tournaments. Eagling every par 5 and birding the rest of the holes doesn’t even get me in the top 50 in a “Pro” tournament, out of a field of 100. I’m not sure how I’m supposed progress in this game - are all the other “Rookie I”s out there holing out from the fairway? Where are all the other players with my level of equipment, and why don’t I get in tournaments with them? It’s not a lot of fun being forced to compete only with folks that clearly have a lot more experience and a lot better equipment.

Big shot. No matter what you do or how you play it rarely ever works to win in big shot challenge. I used to win occasionally….but now hardly ever. They changed it so it’s rigged and you can hardly win anymore. And of course this game is like all the other golf games. When it’s your time to win according to algorithm you will win and when it’s not your turn you won’t ..no matter how good you play. You can have the same conditions, play the same way and it won’t matter. It’s just an algorithm. It would be a breath of fresh air if you could actually win any of these golf games according to your abilities, but unfortunately they never work that way. Just play for sheer enjoyment….not for advancement or you will be disappointed. Seems like you take one step forward and two to three steps back all the time. Its definitely frustrating if you are a competitive person.

Great game, except.... Really enjoying the game, like the weekly/hourly challenges, fun to compete against others, and also love the fact that you can customize your own collection of clubs and upgrade them from your winnings. However, I can’t give this game 5 stars because it will kick you out of the game at random times and because of it being timed shots on most every challenge, by the time you can log back in, most of the time you have already lost the match, and also lost money. I understand why the game has a timer, and also that not the developers fault if you have a bad connection, but there should be something that could alert you that the connection is bad before kicking you, or let you back in faster if you lose connection instead of just losing all your hard earned winnings by getting kicked 50% of the time.

The Avatar pictures. There has to be about 45-50 avatar pictures of different head shots of women and men on this game. You have everything from Asian looking woman, to the surfer on a defaulted face Where are the African American faces? The only thing close is the peach color guy at the very end with an Afro. African Americans’ play golf too! Need you be reminded? And come in many colors hues and not everyone has hair of big eye’s and or lips. How come the only African American face of a woman looks like she’s mad? Not all African American women walk around looking mad or have an attitude. The African American woman has a face of grace. The graphics in the actual game are phenomenal! And I wish golfing in person was as user friendly as they are in the game. I’m sure with all of the time spent making the game look as good as it does; they certainly could have done better with the avatars. Preferably those that are not just Peach or an Olive- Green.

Nice App, but cheats at times. I’ve been playing for a few months now and at times the app won’t let me putt close shots. Also, at times when I loose a connection, I can’t pick up where I left off, so I end up in a forced forfeit. I have won many games, but I noticed when I get on a win streak I can just about guess when the app does things to make sure I lose. This has happened many times. I would love to rate this app 5 stars, it is fun and the graphics are great. But, it’s so frustrating when you finally get all of the pieces together for playing, you can’t afford it because you lose everything to be able to play anymore. Last thing, the game would be better if we only played those that are on the same level. As it is, I play some who are at a higher level than I am, and of course I lose. It’s hard to hold onto coins in this game to be able to play daily.

The higher you go, the fewer rewards. This is a fun game but it’s frustrating because the higher you advance, the more the games cost but the rewards are not commensurate. Also, in the case of H2H, you stop earning club points at lower levels. This is a bummer because sometimes you have used up coins on Royale and Tournaments and are forced to play at a lower level to earn more coins but you don’t earn club points. Every level you play should have the same club points, instead they go to 0. Also, the difference between rewards, for example H2H at $100k and $300k is one club point. So you risk 3x the coins to earn one additional club point. Why bother? At this point I keep hoping to be demoted so that I can play more. I know…it doesn’t make any sense!

Complete failure, don’t wast your time. I would give this zero starts if I could. Would be a decent game with the exception that during your game it will disconnect, give you an error message “waiting for server…” and then you will automatically lose your match and all your coins with it. When I contacted customer service they told me they were familiar with the issue and that they were working to prevent it from happening in the future. I asked them to credit my account for the match I lost due to their glitch and they told me “We’re not Liable for loss of game resources”. You literally admitted it was your fault in the same email but will do nothing to make it right. I’ve see in this same complaint on here and they’ve done nothing to solve it. Stay away. Tell your friends to stay away. The company won’t learn or change until they start losing players from the game.

You need BIG BALLS to play this game.. Well not really. :). You can still have fun and build your way up but it takes a lot longer. I’ve paid for two seasons/months and won’t do it again so I have $40 into this game over about a year playing. I’m a real golfer and this game is fun and somewhat realistic. I have about $60 million in the bank so be patient. Don’t play one-on-one games that will bankrupt you….steady as it goes. I’ve won maybe a dozen tournaments through skill, experience, and good ball selection. Use the wind when it’s straight behind you or against you and a normal ball. Get to know your distances. It’s more feel then using the circles when it’s crosswind. Use your reduced wind balls only when absolutely needed. Okay safe on your drive when it’s tight…being in the fairway makes a world of difference. Don’t go for the pin when it’s a tight landing area. Aim for the center of the green as the putting is unusually easy with good timing. Like real golf, it’s all about good course management. Know your limits and evaluate the risk/reward.

Love hate relationship. Like others have stated the graphics are fabulous and I actually found it relaxing to play at first. Loved the head to head matches and I just wanted to add a picture of myself to relate to my opponent and then realized I had to make it to rookie status before I could add my picture. Still have yet to figure out how to make it to rookie status and found it difficult to identify to any of the avatars I could choose from until making it to rookie status. Suggestion to developers: offer guidelines what it will take to make it to rookie status. Why not just let everyone upload their pictures to their profile? Why limit until making it to rookie status? It feels like the only way I can make it to rookie status is to pay $$. That’s no fun. Giving 3 stars because the graphics and the game itself are awesome.

Unless you are paying, you’re losing. This is the absolute WORST pay to play game i have ever seen. Basically if you dont pay and stock up on elite golf balls you are going to waste coins entering tournaments you will come in dead last at every single time. The courses are ridiculously hard for freaking ROOKIE difficulty, you’ll spend the entire time hitting your ball out of the rough die to the extremely high wind gusts that blow your balls way off course into the woods and whatever else these penny pinching tight wads have thrown in front of you. Everything about this game is designed specifically for you to spend real money just to have a fighting chance to enjoy the game. And don’t get me started on the ridiculously high prices compared to what you get which isn’t anywhere near the amount of items it should be. This game is a legit fraud and complete rip off. Im uninstalling it as soon as i post my review and i would NOT recommend downloading it unless you have the bank account for it.

Must have. To say this game features allot of real golf symmetry is an understatement. Real ball bounces and wind misnomers are a part of the game. Weather conditions like rain is the only thing missing. Gotta try it if you are a true carpet bagger!! Oh yea, how about adding some field Marshalls to spoof in every now and again to check game progressions and real mail in prizes like Tiger Woods Swag. Think of all the endorsements real golfers get and Tshirts and shoes. Where do they go? Why not donate to ultimate golf as contest prizes and endorsements for golf and golfers. Plus I’m sure a lot of them would like to clean out some space and get rid of allot of after contest or promotional items. I’ll volunteer to lead that department if hired! Great game though.

Reading reviews. While reading the reviews to ultimate golf I’ve noticed I’m not the only person who’s having this problem the game is fun and yes it does cheat and yes it is rig that’s not the problem that pisses me off my problem is during the game I keep getting kicked out I’ve lost well over 100 million coins easily, and I’ve lost many balls due to forfeiting games there’s nothing on my end that is wrong it is only in ultimate golf this happens then betting 2 million coins and getting kicked off before the game even starts coming back to find out you forfeited your match please fix the game it has literally gotten so bad that as soon as I go into the game I’m kicked right back to my Home Screen I have spent way too much money on this game for stuff like this to be happening please fix the problem

Rankings should be Trophy Based!!!. I love this game. I love to play. I play A LOT. With that being said, I feel like the rankings should be based on your trophy count, not coins-won. I play a ton of tournaments and have ranked up way more quickly than I feel I should, because my clubs still need to be upgraded. I get smoked by players with maxed clubs and who have been playing for a year or more, but I can’t fully compete at their league. Can something please be done about this???? It’s almost punishing to play a bunch. I earn a ton of coins throughout the week but I’m not very good, so I continue to get ranked higher and higher every week and it makes me want to slow down and not play so much. Please consider!

Fun til you have to pay the reaper.... It’s a well done game, you can get by without spending much if any money and still enjoy it, the instructions are poor and minimal so it can take quite a while to figure the nuances out, especially if you don’t know golf related terminology. It does take some time to work your way up the levels, but then it gets to a point that it seems to be programmed such that even if you are spending money on balls, you will go on inexplicable lengthy (10+ rounds) losing streaks that clean out your cash. Your consistent shots go wide, the ball will spin out of the hole on easy putts, you will suddenly find yourself consistently losing by inches on tie breakers, and you’ll forfeit rounds to “lost” connections that don’t seem to occur at any other time. After having a really good 18hole tournament, I’ve lost 5 heads up in a row as noted above, not a first time pattern, lol. It helps to have a sense of humor and not take this game as seriously as some people do, but there will come a breaking point, just as with their pool game that I abandon it for something else. Their pool game has similar quirks, btw, make sure you lock down your user account here, or after spending much time and money it might suddenly get hacked and you lose everything just as you will playing pool.

Typical miniclip b.s.. Avoid all miniclip games. You will do well, in the beginning. But, as you get better and advance, you’ll find how you’re getting screwed. I got to the point where every hole I played would be a birdie or eagle. THEN, all of a sudden, every shot I took was in the rough or in the sand…. Every shot, for about 10 games straight. If you don’t BUY their crap, you will lose. It’s the same with every miniclip game. Total scam. If you look at the other reviews, you’ll notice all developer responses are automated by the star level given. These people don’t even pay attention to the game or reviews/complaints. Only to the bank account being filled by the knuckleheads that actually pay for this crap game. To top it off, I deleted the game, decided to give it a second chance, because of a friend I would play against… they don’t allow you to recover your profile/progress. There’s always a problem with them recovering your information…. Funny

Worst game ever. This is the worst game ever first of all it is so rigged especially the big shot and plus you have to pay for quite literally everything it is a pay to win game and no one but rich kids with their parents credit cards like those games no body wants a pay to play/win game let’s be honest and like I said before the whole entire game is rigged there is a little meter telling you how strong the wind is and where it is blowing it could be blowing twenty miles per hour directly to the left and u could aim straight down the pipe and ur ball goes to the right and it is absolutely ridiculous I bet the ads make it look like the best golf game of 2022 but trust me I guarantee you if you download this game u will regret it with in the first week of playing is just so jank and messed up and clearly whomever manufactured this game is messed in the head and made this game very carelessly not caring what people think about it so I am begging you box do not download this gam

Love The Game BUT..... I love this game, but there are a few things that seem overlooked that are giving some players a huge advantage. 1. The ability to change clubs during tournaments. Once a tournament starts players shouldn’t be allowed to go back to their bag every hole to switch clubs. 2. The wind. This should be the same for everyone and not something that changes unless it’s a perk from a premium ball. I’ve lost tournaments because a player on the same par 5 as me gets a 10mph tail wind that helps them reach the green getting a higher tiebreaker score along with a putt for Eagle, whereas I got a 7mph head wind that leaves me 30-40 yards from the green and essentially ruins my chance at winning. 3. 3rd party apps. This is something that I was shocked to find out was allowed considering most golf games have banned these apps that are just outright cheating. A player shouldn’t be allowed to use an app that grids the entire course and basically plays the game for them. What makes this so bad is that it’s openly known and bragged about. I hope y’all put some of these changes into effect because I love the game but there are a ton of players just like myself that ain’t able to be competitive with the very best because we won’t cheat.

FIX OR ADD MORE SERVERS. It’s really sad because if I would have done a review yesterday it would have been 5. Unfortunately after today I experience dreadful connection issues with the servers. Once able to get in I saw limited time for the tournament, okay no problem still plenty of time to 18 maybe one restart early. Upon finishing hole 15 with a score of -18 😡 I was disconnected and locked out and continually could not log in to my quite likely tournament winning and immense reward gathering round for where I am at. I just received a notification that the tournament ended but I wouldn’t be able to log in even if I wanted to. I highly doubt that I will be playing this game anytime again soon and highly discourage others until the underperforming and immensely frustrating servers are fixed. I would hope a game like this would reach out to this review and provide a solution or compensation for this serious failure so I could post a much better follow up. Hope to hear soon.

Problem with bots. The game started out nice however I’ve noticed how it cheats lets u play fair for awhile then comes loss after loss I just lost every game for to days in a row over and over again losing to the point I have no gold I had worked my way to 51k and yes I lost it all in to days with consecutive losses very demoralized at this point so I had no choice but to except that this golf game will not give fair opportunity please fix the issue and get some real people on this app maybe I’ll try this app again at a later time I just can’t play something we’re I lose constantly every game unreal I did download this app again only to see the bot cheat again the last golf shot was made while I looked a black screen on my phone and of course I lost never saw the play go through just a black screen sorry but I’m done with your app hi me again tried to play again but still it just makes me feel hopeless gotta go

Not consistent at all. I really tried to like this game. But is very frustrating. 6mph on a short iron goes more sideways than a long iron or 3 wood. That makes no sense. And next time, it won’t move the same. Putter lines are terrible. Green light showing you’re aligned to the hole. Then you putt it perfect and still miss. I had all the clubs unlocked. And still had huge gaps between 3 wood and long iron. And when do I always end up in between clubs? You guessed it… on a tie breaker. And like a mentioned. Winds are never consistent. Driver wind doesn’t move at all. Yes short iron moves like crazy. Not only side winds. The swing power is not consistent either. You barely remove power from your swing. And it removes 20 yards from your swing. So many times I end up in the water because of the inconsistency. So I went from $1.15mil to $10k in two days. That was the last straw. I deleted the game. Whoever designed the game made it perfect. But whoever is in charge of software/algorithms… needs to be fired or maybe stop “working” from home.

Beware. Game was great at first. As the levels increased ( I worked my way up to tour pro III), it was challenging but fun. The. The app started to lock up during matches and forfeited me due to “connectivity issues”, blaming my server. I checked and had no issues on my end ( I pay for blazing internet). Finally got so bad I tried to reload. Lost all accumulated status, clubs, balls (both earned and purchased), the season pass I had just purchased), the coins and dollars I had earned and my ranking in the current season. To top it all, they put be back as a rank beginner. After spending several hundred dollars on season passes, balls, etc., that’s not happening. Have asked Apple for refund of latest purchases that were unused. Finally, I tried to contact miniclip. First response was automated and useless. We will se if they reply with actual customer service. Too bad, as said , it was entertaining at first.

THE PETER PRINCIPLE IN LIVING COLOR!. The Peter principal is a famous business book that simply states a person is promoted to their level of incompetence. This game proves this in living color! Every week I get pushed up another bracket, until I am now at a level where I simply cannot compete. And, what is sad is I spent many hundreds of real dollars buying balls, pins clubs, etc. etc. just to ruin myself and not be able to enjoy a game that I dearly dearly liked in the very beginning. Before the developers write back, asking for specific recommendations, I’ll give them to you now: 1. Do not ever force anyone to move up a division. Some peoples abilities are matched at lower divisions, and that is where they should stay until you see them consistently winning. 2. you still need to include yardages and club selections for the player to choose. I was disappointed that you released a new version and did not do anything about posting more yardages and or allowing players to select the club and play the course the way they want to. There are there are two concrete suggestions for you. Let me know when you get these completed and I will consider returning to the Game with my money but for now I am moving onto someplace else where I can smile and have fun. Not just get frustrated and cuss.

Please Read!! Free is never FREE!!. I will never spend money on a FREE game.. I'll delete it before spending money.. All these games are the same. I just started playing this game and was very happy UNTIL... I got 11th place in the Rookie weekly Competition and it said I was at $300,000 free coins. At the end of the week I thought I would receive those coins and never did. This game is like every other FREE game.. It's a very deceiving game.. It makes you feel like you're a head of the game but you're very far behind. Another negative (and I'm speaking as a rookie who has only been playing 2 weeks) putting is very hard when you are far away from the hole. You only have a few second to line up your shot and then you have release the shot even if you're not lined up with the hole.

This so easily could’ve been a 5⭐️ rating.. App does a lot of stuff right but the 2 gripes are enough that I’ll be uninstalling. 1. The wind. I don’t care if it’s wildly unrealistic or inaccurate but make it consistent for Christs sake. Sometimes (most times) 12 mph acts 23 mph. Other times (mostly when you want it to help you) it acts like 2.1. The measurement rings around your shot are pretty much useless as a result. Make it consistent. 2. After you rank up to Pro you literally can’t win or place well in absolutely anything. Not tourneys, not H2H, not closest to the hole rallyes. Nothing. Zero and I mean ZERO fun after turning pro. Fix it! 3. Devs don’t care and it’s made quite obvious by the differing responses that auto load depending on which level of starred review you leave. I’ll include the 3⭐️ automated response below. Could be a great game, but.... Your putting system needs work. It should be more clear on if you hit a good putt. Right now all you get is a split second to guess if the entire triangle was lit up or if it was a sliver off. You put “Good Shot, Great Shot, etc” on all the shots leading up to the putt. So why not include it in the putt as well? And your putt tracker is not always right. No reason the cup should be lit up green and yet the ball rolls over the hole. And your match-making system needs serious work. I am always getting matched up against players with twice as many trophies as me. And guess what? I lose those games where I am overmatched by better clubs 9 times out of 10. I’m putting the game down for a bit. I’ll pick it up again sometime in the future to see if you made any changes. I want to like your game. I prefer it over your not-to-be-named competitor, but it’s just not on that level until you iron out some of these issues with your game.

Game review. Good game with good graphics, but I still play more WGT golf than this app because this app on a Par 4, you may have a heavy face wind, then your 2nd shot it may be a heavier cross wind or tail wind. Then on a Par 5, you may have a heavy tail wind followed by a heavier face wind where you can’t even reach the green, and all green shots, the wind affects ball flight from short distances. In addition, on Par 4’s, you may hit the rough off your drive and it never allows you to hit a wedge to get to the green, forcing you to take a Par on the hole. Same goes for Par 5’s. All these situations are completely unrealistic. If it allowed you to hit true shots from mildly compromising positions like in real life, the game would be much better. Also, if if you start a hole with a tail wind, all other shots should have a tail wind as well…that’s real life golf.

Game cheats constantly. I’m at Tour Pro level 3 and been playing 10 months. I’ve won many tournaments. There are so many problems. 1) I cannot stand all the manipulation of results. All the just barely missing the cut at the last second. 2) The game has no answer for there being so many good players at the top. So it’s a logjam once you get to the highest level. 3) but the thing that did it for me was that over and over the game glitches constantly in the middle of a swing and always in the most critical of moments, that it cannot help but be intentional to sway results. Additionally, the head to head is a complete joke. Half the time you play bot accounts and you can tell because the computer plays the hole much differently than and often identically each time. The bot puts its shots in the most unusual places that no good player at that supposed level ever would. And it leaves itself mile long putts...that it never misses. As if. It’s a joke. Play something else.

Game play is unrealistic. To start with I’ve read many of the comments on here about having to spend money on the game to get better results, that’s not the case. Even if you spend money to get better balls you will get matched up with a so called player that is about the same level of experience that is using the basic ball and they will beat you about half the time. Example and this has happened numerous times, I was playing with an advanced ball in a head to head tie breaker the winds were coming from my direct left side at about 2mph which would be between 9-12mph on a basic ball, my ball landed and settled 6ft from the hole and the guy hitting the basic ball beat that shot. Like I said that wasn’t the first time that happened. I’m sure the developers will come back with a condescending remark like “sorry you feel that way about the game” please don’t bother I’M OUT

Ultimate disappointment. Let me preface the review to strictly H2H matches. Game starts out competitive and fun. Reached veteran rank for a while and the game has gone sideways for me. Wind speeds not consistent with what the meter reads and will cause erratic ball drops out of the spherical cone when using standard ball. Swing meter tempo has subtle changes that can throw off timing to miss the ultimate shot zone. I’ve had several ultimate zone shots that shank the ball hard right. Other times, an ultimate zone shot will ride a 2.5 mile per hour wind like it was 8 miles an hour. Be prepared to drop big money to stay competitive with all the goofy ball and pin purchases. Promising game in the beginning but falls to overpriced competitive upgrades. With that said, I’ve enjoyed playing with many of the same players but I think my time on this game is winding down. -Tonka

Driving range! And fairness in wind direction. Can we get a driving range? To test out clubs and to test wind ratios. Driving range is a must. Charge coins for test balls like a normal driving range! Also every person should have to play with the same wind same direction of the wind! Unless of course they have a specific ball I can understand but the direction shouldn’t be different for everybody! It’s not fair to players that some people gets straight at 12mph getting them on the green on a par 4, but the next guy to play will get backwards win blowing against them at 12mph and can’t do the same because the wind is against him. Every tournament wind direction should be the same straight across the board!!

Best mobile golf game - still crap experience. Play for free and delete whenever you want. They do some smart things: Pros - ok variety of play (1v1, tournaments, royale) - good rate of earning - same-time play so you dont have to watch your opponent play every shot. - better than rival golf and others like it. Simple ui Cons - no club descriptions or help - no explanation of most things in game - no explanation of where certain equipment and balls come from or how to get them - paid balls are always part of missions which makes many mission unaccomplishable without dripping cash - this is a ridiculous practice in micro transaction games that most steer away from but not moneyclip - weird ball behavior that just doesnt make sense sometimes - mystery trees you have no idea are a problem until you tee off into it - you have zero way to know it’s there and have to basically memorize the courses where these trees are - worst support you’ve ever seen. Like no joke the worst. They do nothing for you or read anything. So play with zero even lower expectations from other horrible mobile game support. Other than that it can be fun and even without spending money.

Like Golf clash but better. There are many things about this app which are just like Golf Clash, but there are differences which I like better. The ones which stand out for me: unlimited pin chests not just one per day; Big Shot given daily, not once every two weeks; no clans to fuss with; tournament going on every day not once every 2 weeks; a new mode called Golf Royale (I think) where you play vs 15 other players on a timer. There are other difference like the courses etc., but I personally like this app much better (I played Golf Clash for 7-8 years). This one is not as popular and doesn’t have the fan-generated guides and wind-ring adjustment charts available, but I like that too. For a completely new/beginner player it gets tougher as soon as tour 3 so I think that’s why it isn’t as popular.

Wouldn’t expect less from MINICLIP. The game has easy to use and accurate controls allowing for smooth game play. And, if you’re good at honing in your skills you can make some amazing shots and pull off some outstanding scores. The leveling structure in association to the coin ratio is a little out of wack so it makes it difficult to advance even for the best players. In its current form you could be very high up the ladder and fall all the way to the bottom in one standard match. But, it helps the with in app purchases I suppose. Nonetheless, I currently play this game on a daily bases and due to it’s quickness of in-game speed as well as load time I will continue to for a long time.

Golf game goes south. Keeping the same clubs and improving when given a chance, your golf game can go south on you in flash. I was doing well in H2H game mode, then with a slip of a switch my winning percentage went south. Keep in mind wind direction and speed changes your approach of the game and not switching clubs it’s hard to believe that my shots are not turning out similar to what they were prior. Went from 5M down to less than 500k, not winning for 20 straight games. Some players were better, and some were not. The developers want you to spend money (actual money), so don’t fall into their scheme, just play you will always have coins to compete in a game or two. Good luck.

Out clubbed. Trying to get to the putting green vs a guy with a driver that he can hit 300 yards out, meanwhile mine hits at 250. He’s on the putting green well before I am, and I have no way to combat that. I have to use an extra stroke vs guys who are well above my level, and I have to rely on them missing in order to tie. It’s not fun to go to a tie breaker on the off chance their putt misses. Meanwhile my ball has to be chipped in JUST TO TIE!!!! Fix the club levels. You shouldn’t be able to play vs a guy with a driver you don’t even have access to for another 2 league levels up. Oh unless I want to spend a ton of money. I even watch ads just to get new clubs and I only ever get clubs I already have. Cool to upgrade your clubs, but you still won’t reach the level of players who are playing in your amateur league when they’re well above that with a “wooden” driver that smacks it 300+ yards, and woods that do 260.

Triplets. This game, GolfClash, and Golf King, are very likely developed by the same team. Read the reviews of those other games and you’ll find all the good things and bad things found on this game. Especially irksome is the infamous “you’ve lost contact with your Internet!” tactic. This then leads to a disqualification and the loss of all your points for that particular contest. It’s a shame that they have to resort to that type of tactic to help generate their profit margin. It would be so much more enjoyable if they would let a player advance according to his or her skills, tactics, and knowledge of the game of golf. It just seems like every time you are advancing you get zapped by the “he’s getting to good police”, and you lose your coins just as you were going to score a significant victory and bag a pile of coins. Can’t let that happen! Otherwise the games are fun to play, if you can stand the frustration.

A must play golf game. It had been along time since I played a mobile golf game and I will say, this one is great. Easy to play but challenging to master. I’m a free to play player and I can compete with others. Granted I’m still lower level and maybe that changes with more play time but as of right now I compete in tournaments and head to head and hold my own. If you’re looking for a well rounded mobile golf game, this game is for you without having to invest a lot of time. Only gripe, bring down the time to open bags. It’s easy to fill up all four slots and it takes hours to open them and you miss on other bags as result.

Too many inconsistencies. The game would be better if it had been created by someone who plays golf! I’ve never had a three wood shot hit the green and stop within 2 feet, yet have a long iron (or even a wedge for that matter) with maximum backspin hit a green and roll for another 60 feet. For some reason the putting pulls everything to the left, so if you air dead center of the cup, and put the arrow perfectly in the middle of the putter gauge, it still misses left. This has cost me several holes in head to head, and tournament play. The inconsistency with the wind is another issue. The variation between. 10.8 and an 11 mile an hour cross wind is ridiculous. I’ve had that .2 move my ball as much as 10 yards on a shot, which isn’t very realistic. Also, Please stop with the umpteen pop ups trying to get me to buy stuff...this is extremely annoying!!

Jipped. IWell I was never given the credit for the golf balls that I tried to buy ….so I’m a little disappointed in your professionalism which I would say does not exist . You should’ve offered me replacement balls . The next thing I wish to address is you would give a person the option of golfing in your app alone .without competition of any sort. I want to practice and play against myself and improve my game, with the kind of game you developed it’s not possible to do that . I think people would be a lot more enthusiastic about playing a game by themselves versus some other joker that’s out there in the world messing around. I would play more games in this app and tend to buy more golf balls because I’m able to play with confidence against myself and practice my talent. Y I am sick of playing against people who have absolutely no desire to be better at what they’re doing. You do need to credit my account so that I can buy the golf balls I would like. F. Perry

Money game. This is a money game! If you don’t want to spend money then I would not get this game. Also developers why can you not make some purchases of balls with gold? I have over 1 billion in gold and nothing to spend it on except entering H2H’s, or tournaments. What is the point of the gold if you get as much as top players have and not being able to use it. Also wind….. shoot from the tee wind is going one direction, and your next shot it’s going the opposite direction. It’s a fun game, but this new update released today. My game froze trying to join a royale. I guess my point is…. Reduce the gold entry fees so people cannot accumulate the worthless gold. Unless you open the gold to upgrading clubs, and purchasing the basic balls. I get that the game needs money for you guys to earn your wages. But come on. Get with the program. Also your latest update doesn’t allow people who are loyal to this game to update because they have older phones.
