Why you should get this game. This is a very fun series the first one didn’t strike as much joy and fun as the last one but this one is way more improved I like the turn based combat I have been looking for an rpg like this for a while and now I have found it the gacha is fair and you don’t have to spend a bunch of money and only get 2 star characters and I like the events and missions there aren’t many glitches in this except one when I tried skipping the tutorial and gave me a error message and had to do it but that’s pretty much it this is a fun game and I love it

Horrible. I’ve played all 3 SAO games from Bandai and I have never been more disappointed than when I played this. I was so excited to play it and even had it preordered, but when after I finished the tutorial is when I was let down the most. This game requires AP to play each stage and not only that, you have to play as Kirito. There’s nothing wrong with Kirito or his character, it’s just the fact that you have to play him in almost every single SAO game out there. For console and mobile it does nothing but center it around Kirito, yes I understand that’s what a lot of fans love, but I’m sure there are also fans who want to be on the sideline. In SAOIF you are someone who accompanied him throughout the main story and can be your own person. Customization and also free play, you can play for hours on end without having to wait for energy to refill and to stock up on things at your own pace. I truly love SAO and it is one of my favorite anime, but I don’t want to be Kirito every time I turn around. Take for example Pokémon, they allow users to not only have their own story (even if ash is the main person in the entire anime) and even customize their character to their liking. I think the company focuses too much on Kirito and not what could be available for all fans/players.

This game is tough.... There’s a difference between having a challenging game and a confusingly difficult game. Very limited resources, the rates are decent at the least, grunt enemies feel like boss fights, and boss fights feel like fighting an enemy fifty levels above you, and you have constant type disadvantage. This is good and bad, the game makes you think, just like you would have to in an actual fight like this, but even when you do, the strength difference is so vast and the strength boost methods, such as enhancements and the such make such a tiny difference...honestly it’s hard to say it’s fair at times. The game is fair but sometimes it’s pretty unfair. The games animation is beautiful, and the characters have personality for the most part. Well animated, some mechanics could use some work, but overall a good game but really tough.

Fun and Amazing until the end!. I played this game for at least a month or more and it’s been keeping me in contact with the game until I heard about the shutdown, which obviously disappointed me since I just joined. Although I do understand why they did this. I will miss the series of Alicization, Moon cradle, etc. I loved the way it inspired me to keep playing til the very end. I’m happy that I decided to play this game, and gotten to experience SAO once more. I shall not forget the amazing memories I made from this, and won’t forget about this. Though other people seem unphased about this, I will and can continue until this game is over. Hopefully there will be a similar game like this so I can be happy knowing it won’t end up like this one. Once again, I’m grateful that I was able to play this game until I was not able to now. Thanks for the fun until then.

Enjoyable, but. Yeah the game is fairly solid for a mobile game. It’s pretty fun to play and the animations are pretty good. It’s sort of a turn based game with special moves and what not. My only problem with the game is the fact that it will randomly freeze whenever it wants to. The audio with the characters and music will continue to play omg he background, however the picture motion part of the game is stuck in one frame. To stop this, I have to either shut off my phone and reopen it or go onto the home screen and reopen the game. Even so, the game doesn’t allow these tricks to work quickly, as there is a slight intermission when you can exit the application. But overall not a bad game at all.

AMAZING. i love this game so cool and fun the bad thing is how hard it is to get good weapons SAO if my all time fav anime and this game it blows my mind like its so good when you get good characters from scouts it feels lime a dream and its not its real you get diamond cubes very quickly and its just amazing to upgrade your characters and skills and weapons and armor its jist amazing if your a starter use all your cubes on 4 star scouts and if you get lucky you might actually have enough cubes to get the 5th summon which has the 4 star you wanna really focus on missions that how ima almost bout to finsh the game the story line is addicting and interesting Man i love this game ive played for like a month now and i play this the most more than FORTNITE MINECRATH OR ROBLOX best game on earth is SAOARS keep it up devs

Was Good Until It Wasn’t. I was a daily player (I run the actual Laughing Coffin guild) until this game became so tedious and boring that I saw no draw to coming back and play. I spent a lot of time with this game and pulled open tons of character/weapon boxes; acquiring quite a few legendaries...then all the updates started coming out..well, no more legendaries or even epics...just cannon fodder. The events are tiresome; adding nothing new to the game. Most of the updates involve mermaid versions or bikini clad versions of the characters. There’s not even legendaries of most of the good characters but about 20 different Asunas, Silicas, etc... So overall the game is fun for a bit; but due to lack of in game content and severe changes to the rng system; this game is just a snooze fest.

Ordinal battle and summon rates. The game is pretty fun I can’t lie. I do however have some problems. One is that the ratings for summons are way to low even for a non banner character. I have grinded the story and event and every time I summon I always end up with a million 2-3 stars and once in a while a 4 star. Also in ordinal, it used to be fun. Now I’m just bombarded with partner skills and the enemy always starts first so I basically have no chance to attack back and if I’m lucky, I’ll have at least 2/4 units left with little to none hp. Please fix this issue because it really brings the fun out of the game and I’m pretty sure this is the best way to grind cubes as a free to play player.

Please Read: New Updates. With the new 1.5 anniversary celebration going on, Bandai decided to reduce the diamonds earned from events from 8 to 3. Then, decided to make the reward from completing a quest to 1 diamond and story quest 8 to 3 then another downgrade to 2. What a game. Close to it’s 2 year anniversary and Bandai found a way to make the players leave and play better games. The game hasn’t been out long and this is what you give us, not so grate. I hope you can bring it back since there are many F2P players and you are making everything pay to win. Pretty lame in my opinion. Character designs, and Incarnate animations are cool is just the rewards. We can spend up to hours of playing just for 1 diamond, go to the scout just to get nothing or a duplicate. 🚪🏃💨 All other players don’t enjoy this, brought hype for the Cradle story and expected many great things but nothing good came from this update. This was the worst mistake done and would probably lead to this games downfall. I just wanted to mention this and let you guys know what a good game is going to die. Also, the season pass is kinda disappointing, boring and rewards aren’t that great from there. The new limited characters from the event know need specific crystals? Really? That was kind of dumb to be honest. Hopefully the newer updates bring back the old rewards and better things than this update.

Game is absolute garbage now :( (I had high hopes for this). The game was amazing the first year and descended into madness. Like battle pass. Really, Bandai following most games with a battle pass. You could’ve done something different. Like stated the same from when you first started. Like when the game first came out it’s amazing. Like grinding event points to exchange for items, that’s creative and cool just like what memory defrag was doing (for some events) and giving lots of diamonds to try to spend on things that would be good like weapons or new characters but not the only way you can make diamonds is buying it and it’s horrible. Now it’s hot garbage. Like now everything I try to play like a match in Ordinal Scale or like any fight in general, the game always crashes. I even made a lot of space for the a game to work but it won’t. And most of the time it’s either that when you yourself enhance your characters that have enhance to do more dmg or extra for their abilities that’s when it crashes. Bandai I don’t know what you’re doing but you’re ruining an amazing game that could become successful if you left it alone as it was before the battle pass update. It’s a shame. Almost as if you only did these updates to siphon money from the players more. Shameful. Edit (update) : Dunno how this happened but game crashes to specific characters and not just suddenly can’t log in

Great game but.... I’m updating my review. Since I reviewed R4s have jumped up quite a bit. Had a lot of fun getting my armory decked out with shiny equipment. I have maxed out teams and they were including post story content. My biggest problem is like all Bandai games that they are now closing the servers. Like why even start a game if they’re just going to close the servers like a year or two in? Regardless I have missed only 10 days of logins since I started playing and have almost all the characters they offer. I’ve enjoyed it and I am extremely upset to see it go.

Crashes will bring this game down. If these crashes don’t get fixed soon this game will not have the potential it should have for me I can’t even get the the first main mission fight because when I use the charge attack with eugeo it crashes and then I get kicked out I’ve tried to delete the game restart my phone and i can’t continue without this being fixed because it’s still part of the tutorial. If things like this don’t get fixed this game won’t be liked I have high hopes for this game but if these crashes don’t get fixed then I don’t know. If you are or if you can add a if you keep crashing option in missions so people can skip them but make it were they don’t get stuff for doing them so they can’t cheat it and if you are then keep working on it. I hope you keep trying to fix these and add new things also good luck to you

Pros and cons. I haven’t been playing this game for very long, It was though the game is very well-made. The graphics invoices are on point, and I think that everything about the game it’s just really amazing. But I would kind a like a game that is sort of like the essence of the actual sword art online game, where you can create your own character and just go on quest and it’s like the actual sword art online experience. Wow yes, we all love Kirito and all of his friends, but I would enjoy us being able to play as ourselves, not someone who is predefined. Would like us to be able to have a gun skills, and be able to create a character that is 100% us and unique. But overall the game is great so far and I’m really enjoying the experience, thank you.

The worst events I’ve seen in Gacha games. I can’t really mince words here, the in-game event that is ending tonight is the worst event I’ve seen in a Gacha game since Pokemon Master’s Giovanni event. I wanted to believe that this game still had potential since my last New Years review, where some of the launch issues were fixed. But it is clear to me now that this game is for lack of a better word a “cash grab” with little to offer outside of the story which is the only thing I’ve stuck around for. The gameplay which continues to become lack luster, the events that are impossible to get all of the rewards from without pulling the required units from the Gacha, and the horrible event interface ticket menu. The poor balancing of the game overall sours the entire experience and is making me consider dropping the game, similar to Mario Kart Tour which had its infamous Gold Pass. The Gacha in this game is horrendous, and since most of the premium event rewards (character specific limit break gems) content requires that you pull these units to even have a chance of getting all of the rewards which is the dumbest decision I’ve seen from any Gacha game that hasn’t broken some gambling law somewhere by making it necessary to have a unit to beat event for limited rewards/resources. It’s so hard to like this game when they keep doing stuff like this which makes it not worth playing! I would not recommend it anymore even if you are SAO fan. ————————————————/-//-///————

Love the game but I have a big issue. TLDR The game is fun and super addicting but it has a crashing issue that need to be fixed I downloaded this game at first cause I was curious on what it would be like and I quickly fell in love with the game. I love how it fills in the gaps of the alicization ark. It also isn’t stingy when it comes to letting you scout for great characters unlike other gotcha games nowadays. I also really like the battle system. It’s layout is really cool to me and it’s satisfying to attack with your characters and all of their flashy moves, HOWEVER, I’ve come to certain parts of the story where I’ll start a battle, specially boss battles, as soon as one of my characters uses a skill, the game crashes which is frustrating cause I just want to play the game. I really enjoy this game and I really want to play more of it but PLEASE fix this crashing issue so I can continue to advance in the story.

I’m am extremely disappointed. I had this game for a good bit and I enjoyed it a lot but a update has happened which logged me out. The reason this is a problem is because apparently you’re supposed to know in advance that something like this will happen and make a backup password in a menu on the title screen. The game never warns you that it might log you out and I know 100% percent I didn’t log out of my account. There’s no way to contact the company and try to fix this so I’ve now lost all of the amazing characters I had and no way to get them back. I’m not going to try to start over because it would take way to long to get back to where I was. If there was a way to regain my account with an email or something but that’s a thing in this. Saying I’m disappointed is an understatement cause I loved this game but now I can’t.

Love the game but I got a problem. So what happened was the game needed an update and I was running out of space and I’m not sure why but the game decided to delete itself and I lost all my progress. Now I'm a bit upset at the fact that the app decided to just delete itself, but that might be my fault at the fact that I love mobile games so much that you have plenty of them. That being said, when you lose all your progress to a game you were grinding on for a week straight, you can get quite mad. Honestly it’s one of the best SAO games I’ve played and I’ve played a lot of SAO games. Such as Fatal bullet, Hollow Realization, Memory Defrag, and Integral Factor. I’ve loved them all. But none of them gave me this problem. I still think it’s probably my fault but I just wanted to let y’all know. Thank you for creating such awesome games and I hope to see much more.

Easy & addictive game. I like the battle style, not impossible but challenging, also not like the afk arena where you need to try hundred times of re or buy $$$ upgrade purchases in order to advance. Daily grinding and events gives more than sufficient materials to help you move on, early stage you will have endless AP points due to easy level up. Unfortunately due to circumstances I can not make purchases so I missed 4star hero & R4 weapon voucher , but after 9th days of playing(yes I started playing on the very first day the game released), I’ve completed & 3stared every quest & event, got the cathedral title & legendary armors before they implement new patch on today the 29th Nov, so this can show you this game is F2P friendly! Pros: challenging battle style, awesome original animation and voicing. VERY F2P friendly. Cons: Not support overseas payment, no gacha guaranty, no interaction with other players besides hiring support. Suggestions: Please improve the gacha system, at least put a 3 or 5 step guaranty gacha on, so people know when will they get the R4 or 4star, right now a lot of pay players complain, you don’t want to lose them. Also add interaction functions between players into the game, it’s a little spice to the boring daily grinding :) I love the anime series and I’ve been following it since the beginning, so I really hope this game can improve more and go further. Keep it up guys.

Outstanding. I have tried nearly all games by Bandai Namco and loved them all but I have to say this one truly takes the cake. Too many games nowadays focus on creating more and more units with the same system and effects but this game has added breath-taking animations and even made a moving animation at town with character lines for each character even when a very popular game such as azur lane only made a select few actually move and quickly made the rest with just have lines with no movement. Truly this game is amazing and enjoyable with its own unique twist to keep the game fun as well as visually appealing. Edit: as far as gameplay goes I think they nailed the difficulty level too many games let u skip all the beginner content but in this game players cant just skip to lvl 100 exp grinding and instantly be able to one hit most of the story, u got to think and it gives u the time to do so with its turn base system which I absolutely love

Diamonds. The game is really great. I love everything about this game, but the one thing I find trouble is the amount of diamonds limited near the end game. I’m almost done with the hard mode story and the new summon sessions keep coming out left and right, using up all my diamonds. I want to summon all of the 50% off, but at one point I’m not going to be able to. What I would suggest is that you allow the players to have a free 11 pull summon for every new gacha along with a 50% afterwards, and have the scout tickets be used for one summons on gachas. I’m not sure if it’s too generous to ask, but this would help unlucky players who are also in the late game situation with barely any 4 star characters or weapons.

Captivating but small issue. Okay, so I looooove this game, it is wonderfully made. The story was vey interesting and grinding to level up characters was also very enjoyable due to all of the events. But I wish there was a way to sign in through google, Game Center, or social media accounts. I recently just had to delete a decent account and now I cannot play on it any more. This could have been prevented if there was a way to sign in so I can use this account again. Using various accounts also allows players to have more time playing and enjoying the wonderful game the company has made. This game deserves 5 stars because of how amazingly this game is made, but due to this issue I couldn’t give the game the full 5 stars.

Data randomly got deleted. About a year ago (by the time I’m writing this) I played this for a LONG time every day (for like a year), and about a year ago before that I did my usual daily stuff until I randomly got kicked out of the game, I thought it was fine because some of my games kick me out, but when I got in the game told me what region I’m in (implying I need to create a new account), and now I couldn’t get into my account again, I tried to recover the account from my old phone (because I had it on there) only to realize I already transferred my data (because when I got my new phone I transferred my data from my old phone to my new phone). I couldn’t get to the title screen to recover my account because of the region pop-up, I tried multiple tutorials to try to fix it, but nothing could work. And finally the day I’m writing this, I decided to re-download the game to try to get my old account back, and finally I found a way to reach the title screen, but I had to create an account first, only to realize it took me back to the account I just created. I basically lost a year’s worth of data. I don’t think I can do anything to get it back…

Great so far, a lot to offer for F2P. I think it’s great so far constant updates and I can always seem to get cubes to draw even when I don’t grind them out. The only thing I would change is not having so many levels require using incarnation skill to 3 star. Yes I could use a weaker party to accomplish this.. but I like the party I’ve built and find myself having to skip, heal, charge, buff just to build it high enough to use when my party would be fine without. Maybe just limit to boss fights :) otherwise a lot of fun! Oh to add on would love to see a tales gacha game, tons of stories routes and characters over the years I think it would be AWESOME 😁

Login bonuses. I love SAO ARS it’s a really fun game to play but as I logged in this morning I thought I got the 50 diamonds that i didn’t get during the recent summer login [get up to 100 diamonds!] and also didn’t complain cause I thought “oh I’ll get it soon” but I didn’t. Then also gave me the last of the free recent character which I got. (I also log in everyday at that.) but one thing was it said it gave me a 4* guaranteed ticket scout from when i first started playing sword art online Alicization Rising Steel and when I tried to go and collect it, it wasn’t there. I really don’t know how it happened I just logged in like I regularly do everyday and i never received the full 50 diamonds or guaranteed ticket scout. Other than that I really enjoy playing this game!

My number 1 favorite mobile game!. This has become my number 1 favorite mobile game! But there is 1 problem that bothers me, the app consumes an extremely large amount of battery power even with my phone in low power mode. The game will bring my phone from 100% charge down to 10% charge in no more than 3 hours even if I keep low power mode on the whole time. But, this problem might be due to the fact that my phones battery has degraded to a maximum capacity of 83% but my battery is still supporting peak performance. Other than that issue I have no other problems with the game.

Disappointing. SAOIF is really a great game, and I adore it. I like how you’re so free to just explore and be your own person with the customization. This game did not do that. While I’m sure some people love this kind of game, I feel for others it’s just boring. Sticking to one quest, just doing one thing after another. SAOIF made you feel like you were in the game, a player who’d been trapped inside SAO. I understand this game took on a new concept, and I respect that, but the story just... bored me. I found myself not caring for the characters, and even when I forced myself to try and play through, I just couldn’t. One last thing is the tutorial; I was confused. There was pointing everywhere and flashing buttons with bright colors and I found myself just doing the same thing over and over. Overall the fighting style is boring. Playing as Kirito himself is boring. However, I do like the flat, “puppet” animation style. I’ve always been fond of stuff like that. In conclusion I’d say some people love it and others, like me, don’t. I’ll definitely stick with SAOIF!

Review on the game. The game and story is pretty good since it’s based of the actual anime season like the fact they brought all the characters from past sao seasons and new characters from the latest anime. The weapons themselves looks absolutely stunning, the grind to get each item is hard but with strategy and strength it’s a breeze but their are some bugs and glitches in the game that happens like some of the characters top of the head would disappear and most characters would face the other way, most mobs would freeze, oh and one other thing I like is the character development that they didn’t get time to put in the anime and the actual animation scene felt like I was watching an episode but the subtitles and sound would delay with the scene but it’s a good game to play and if you think you can beat me you got another thing coming!

Some what disappointing...... The drop rates hilariously awful in the gatcha and u keep pulling the same characters over and over just to get them mlb. I’ve played memory defrag a lot and love how that can have better rates and also does collab gatcha and rates oh and different costumes characters.... don’t get me wrong I’m a huge fan of sword art online and love this game but that’s y I give it a four and not a five. Please do collage characters in gatcha and collab events. Please add different costumes too to the gatcha and make the rates more fun for new players to be interested cause it’s Depressing how the rates of pulls are and if this wasn’t sao I wouldn’t be actually still playing this game

Can’t play till fixed. Not gonna lie this game is really good and I’ve really enjoyed it. Though today I ran into a problem that stops me from playing this game. It says I unlocked the feature War of Underworld, and so I have to tap on it. The problem is I didn’t unlock it and don’t meet the requirements yet. So when I click on it a screen comes up and says, “This feature is currently unavailable,” the when I try to click the close button for the pop up, it doesn’t work because it wants me to click War of Underworld. This leaves my screen stuck and I can’t tap anything else. Even when I reset the game it still gets stuck either way. If you could fix this, I will be most grateful!

What Happened?. I loved this game. I played it each day a couple times a day. The story was fun as t linked with the anime. The characters were easy to build up but to get to maxed out levels it took a little luck and grind. You did not need to pay to play but you could if you wanted to advance quickly. It was probably my favorite. I had just build four characters to level 100. I was looking to advance all their gear. I had three other characters at level 90 and I had 500 diamonds that I was saving up to buy 4 scouts of 10 with a guaranteed 4 start summons on the last step. However a glitch happened and I got kicked out. I could not access my account. None of the passwords worked. And there was no way to get the password sent to me. I am so disappointed but I cannot replay the whole game again to get to where I was. If this app can fix this problem I would switch this to a five star review. I reached out to the App through face book but no one has responded to me yet.

Game is becoming worse by the event. I have been playing this game for about a year almost, and don’t get me wrong it can be very fun at first with many different possibilities to put your team together, but this game is becoming pay to win. Firstly, they decided to nerf the amount of cubes someone gets (the game’s currency to scout for characters or weapons) which is totally unfair for f2p players. The other issue would be the game constantly crashing in between trying to beat the boss and it crashing in an event named ordinal scale. Then, they decide to introduce a “season pass” that has many rewards per level but requires too much time for minimal rewards, completely getting rid of the old system which was fair and allowed you to get many rewards. If they keep this up, I won’t hesitate to get a refund and get my SAOARS account deleted.

Pretty cool but needs updates. They need to give more diamonds in the log in bonus and the achievements. And make some quests with more diamonds too. They put out limited time banners way to often and then we end up wasting all our diamonds because the scouts are terrible. Also instead of having the guaranteed 4 star on step 5 why not make it guaranteed banner character. And if you have to have the guaranteed 4 star in there put it on step 3 or 4. If they can’t do all of that at least make it easier to get lots a diamonds from achievements and login bonus

App beware. If you accidentally delete your app or you break your phone we’ll good luck to you Bandai’s way of trying to recover your data is to ask at least 20 something questions that am sure most players can’t remember about there own account and if you spent any money like I did trying to level or get the new character well you just wasted your own money because unless you can remember everything about your own account you just loss your money so if you plan on getting this app prepared to literally write everything down from user ID to player ID then take account of your own diamond cubes to character’s you own and weapons plus the times you log in because they literally made it hard to get your account back so am done with this app.

Ben waiting to play such this game since the release of SAO Anime. I’d give more stars if  allows. No issues so far. Gameplay is what I’ve expected and the storyline is interesting. Just a little bit busier than I thought because of the simple yet complex combat system. This is the very first Turn-based RPG of SAO and I loved it from the first battle. No download issue, no black screen or whatever screen issue. Been running this game on iPhone X, iPad Pro 10.5” and ROG Phone2 at this moment. The only drawback is the gameplay file or account sharing across devices. If the game can be linked to some Social media account or email or on developers’ server, it’d be more fun and more convenient.

Why can’t I play?. Hello there. This is a long time issue for me and I avoided it in hopes of it getting fixed. Needless to say it is not, before I had this issue I was I was able to play just fine. For some reason one day I got a prompt to download some new assets, probably for some new characters that just released. I never, and still haven’t made it beyond the title screen, it never finishes downloading. Every time I started the download again it displayed different amounts to download and I tried restoring my app data, which didn’t work. Wiping my game data and it still shows that assist download error. I’ve tried everything I can think of and I really hope this review helps fix the problem.

No response from BANDAI. I love the game, I play all through the day and night, events are fun, graphics are amazing, and it’s challenging enough to keep a interest. Only problem I have is early when the game came out I got lucky and received the Night Sky Sword but when I tried to equip them they were no were in my inventory, I filled out multiple forms for the support to BANDAI and have still yet to hear anything from them regarding my sword. I’ve gotten other weapons after a few updates and such but it hurts I spent money on the cubes to try and get that particular weapon and got it but I guess and early bug or whatever kept me from keeping it and I get no response on either getting my sword or my cubes back, other than that a wonderful game

Good so far. But.... By far I’ve only played for like 30 minutes, it’s great and I love it! It’s wonderful and cheers off to the development team who made this! Butttt I wish the tutorial wouldn’t force you to keep pressing the next episodes to play. It’s 11:13 pm and the game kept forcing me to press the episodes and play for another episode. I was ok the first time but please! I need my sleep! Anyways, it’s a great game and all but I also wished the game took more of a 3D route , where it’s a open world and walk around the terrain of the underworld. That would’ve been way better. I mean look at ocean horn 2. It’s just like that on mobile. If Oceanhorn 2 could do it, then so can you guys! But nonetheless the game is fun and I’ll definitely keep playing! THANKS!

Unfair fights. Ordinal Battle is broken in this game. It is really and I mean really unfair. Most of the time you don’t even have a chance to attack because players are doing “special link”. Yeah its a nice move but just take it off of ordinal battles. Then there’s also the amount of moves the enemy team can do. These fights are unfair because you cant even attack and the fights already ended in 2 or 3 moves. So yeah with that make it so that each team can do 1 move before its the other teams turn. Also i get that the characters are strong but these barely feel like battles. It says “damage recieved reduced by 50%” but that’s a lie. Make the damage recieved waaaay lower. 3D movement and interface. I will start by complimenting this game for its performance so far, it’s absolutely epic, the stories, side missions and character development quests are all really good and the loot is quite decent, but coming from someone who have play sao intégral factor, I can surely say that when it comes to the movements and getting around in the game, that’s where my stars dropped, only because the way we move our characters especially in story quests, it’s classic. If only y’all could change that to the authentic 3D movements like in sao integral factor combine with the flashy special moves from the characters, then this game would be perfect, y’all would be truly bringing sao to the gaming platform. This is all my opinion but I fully believe that there are many more that agrees with me, and the game is still very new that if y’all make these changes we can all still adapt to the new changes.

Amazing!!. First off, I downloaded this game (haven’t watched the show yet but started) because I attended AnimeNYC and they had an event there and we needed to download the game to participate. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. This game has amazing visuals and animations. I feel like im watching the anime. Now I’m not too serious of a mobile gamers so excuse my ignorance but this game has the best styles graphics, in my opinion of course, than any game I’ve come across yet. This game makes grinding fun! I've already made it to around rand 17 and I am WAY more addicted than I should be. I cannot wait to see what this games turns out to as I know it has huge potential. Awesome.. This game has a “campaign” which took me over two weeks to finish while playing several hours a day. I haven’t been this engrossed in a game, let alone a mobile game in a long time. There is a lot to do that you can keep playing indefinitely but I highly recommend to at least play the main story. There was a bit of grinding to be strong enough for the later bosses but it didn’t really feel like grinding with the variety of characters and and the items you can get on the daily mission stuff. I’ve watched some SAO anime but never played much of the games on PlayStation. I’ve been intrigued by the SAO concept and stories so this was a great way to play one of the games. It really doesn’t feel like it’s “just” a mobile game and the story is as good as any PlayStation game. If you’ve been interested in SAO at all, give it a try. You’ll be glad.

Typical gacha game. Very F2P friendly at the beginning due to massive cube resources, daily login bonuses that are exclusive to new players, and around 5-6 free 4 star character right off the bat as long as you login every day for a month. A discord server has multiple people active at most times that are willing to help guide new players through the game, as well as help them find a new guild. There are a ton of guides and tutorials in the discord that show the best route way to use resources and the best characters to scout for beginners. Game gets very slow once you complete the story on normal and hard mode, and finish all of the cathedral bonus missions. After that, you mainly just wait for events and banners to pop up and hope that you somehow scrape together enough cubes without having to break out your credit card to help you scout a new character. Besides the fact that Bandai wants you to P2P, you shouldn’t have too much trouble staying F2P if you’re not a character simp or not playing the game competitively. Beware of whales, it’s nearly impossible for F2P to get top 5 in ranking event brackets because some people spend massive amounts of money on this game. Otherwise, graphics are beautiful, storyline is great if you desire more SAO content, and this game should keep you entertained for at least a month.

Great game, love the characters, but.... I love the game, and its fun to play while I work or busy with every day life. But i really don’t like the “up to 110” summon events, because you may or may not get to 110. And thus far, i have only gotten to 55. I get it don’t want to give away 4 star characters every time or get players to break the piggy bank. But i would like to make a suggestion with the rate being relatively low to get a 4 star character, out of 100+ characters available. Everyone can enjoy 110 summons, without it cutting so short, the rate for 4 star characters is low already, so why not let players summon 110 times. Or drop it to 55-77 without cutting it short and increase the rate a little higher. At least 5-6%.

Crash Issue. Okay so... When I heard that another SAO game was released I was pretty ecstatic and couldn’t wait to play. Love the games graphics and combat system because it’s pretty immersive in its own unique way. My gripe is that the game isn’t even allowing me to load in anymore. The problem occurred after I did my free 10 or 11 summon, the game crashed and continued to do so. I’ve tried downloading the app data again and again but that’s not helping. Tried changing the “light off” thing but that doesn’t do anything either. Really at a lost here and since I can’t even load into the game, my review isn’t going to change.

Devs put effort into this game. Game only content and more side stories that weren’t seen during the anime. The game also has CG cutscenes and voice overs that weren’t cheap to produce. They are definitely investing a lot into producing this game and adding new content. New character Eydis is really good and adds an extra element to Alice, also has her side stories Game is not too grindy after you build a good team and is generous with the cash shop items. You can F2P if you want and play everyday. If they offered cheaper deals like $5 or $10 bundles I’d definitely chip in. Good game for SAO fans that like waifus and boobies

Just perfection for me. Rising steel is so much fun to play and beautiful to look at the animations for the incarnate atks look amazing and I do hope they continue to improve more and more with how they look the ordinal scale Kiritos incarnate skill is soooo cool to look at with the rainbow explosion at the end had me hyped to see what else comes out,also I do hope you expand the story of the game since war of underworld pt1 has ended and pt2 of it comes out in April 25 or do some other cool events like a dark god vecta ranked raid boss I hope my review gives the creators some ideas in the future this game is fantastic to look at and so much fun to play Hope

Awesome development.. This game is truly a Amazing game. I honestly don’t get how there is bad reviews. As a SAO fan I’m totally obsessed with this anime. I’ve been watching ever since 2012. And this game is really awesome. The animations and graphics just top it off. It doesn’t lag too bad at all and I’m sure all of us love games like that. I love how you have a storyline added too it. Because sadly there is some SAO games that dissatisfy me. Because it’s all the story or just fighting and leveling up your characters. But this game is just perfect it has a good and equal amount of Storyline, And fighting in it. Obviously all games have minor bugs, But. I do have one minor issue. When I log onto the game it lets me only to get to the first Chapter. Then it crashes Every single time. I’ve Tried on My IPad Air Then I’ve tried on my IPhone 6. If this problem can be fixed I’d Greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Bandai...not.. Had a small issue where I accidentally used my exchange weapon they give you for being a new player to limit break itself thinking it was a cool free weapon they gave you. Realized my mistake and that those rainbow weapons are for exchanging in for a real weapon...I wrote to Bandai and they regret to inform me there’s nothing they can do. A million dollar company can’t do anything for a new player who WAS going to spend money and keep playing but now is completely turned off by this company. I’m not asking for a refund of money, I’m not asking for a free character or weapon pull, I only asked for them to take back the limit broken one which is useless now and let me have the exchange weapon i was supposed to get. They do this on purpose...now I will never got the free weapon that all new players are entitled to. I’m sure that’s too much to ask the worlds current largest toy company worth $6.4 Billion dollars. I miss when gaming used to be about the player and not the money. I have no problem paying (and I have) for things in this game. But this was different, this was an honest mistake that would have cost them no money at all to fix. I hate Bandai now.

Pretty generous rates. I’ve been playing for the last couple months, and it’s been a lot of fun. They start off by giving you tons of resources, diamonds, and free top tier characters and some you even get to pick who you want. I haven’t always gotten what I was pulling for, but I’ve only bought diamonds for the pass and a booster which helps level up my characters. All my characters have come from event rewards and diamonds that I have earned, and I manage to place top 100 on most events and even as high as top 30 without even using the most effective characters. It does get a little slow between events but there is plenty of resources to get in between. The only extremely grindy part of the game is getting the crystals to boost the level limit of your characters which they put in the paid part of the pass. overall it’s a pretty good game and has pretty generous rates and rewards at most times and you can get even more as your team gets better.

Hope the bugs get fixed. I’ve been playing for about three months now but I had to take a break because a bug made it to where I couldn’t click any other buttons. It was a tutorial thing having to do with the castle floors at a higher level. But I had to delete the game because I couldn’t play it anymore, and it deleted all of my characters, I’ve got most of them back know but my team is still no where as good because of the scouts and the rate at which you get diamonds. Please fix this if you haven’t. Other than that, I absolutely love this game, it’s one of my favorites.

not close to the anime at all. In the anime you can’t severe heads and there is no blood I am referring to the goblin scene plus a lot of people that are complaining about crashes. I thought I could finally have a good SAO game to play but I think the first episode is better than the whole game and the character that was with Kirito isn’t even in da anime. You probably already know that tho. My last two complaints is that kirito is the character that gets Excalibur and when kirito said “it isn’t suppose to hurt that much in virtual reality” in SAO or SA : O in SAO they die in rl If they die in vr so kirito should know that it hurts that much but in SA : O they have the damage absorber to 20 so it should never hurt that much even a lvl 100 vs a lvl 1 it should never ever hurt that much but besides all that it is a pretty good game but I am just an overprotective anime lover

Good but still room for improvement. Now I really enjoy this game. I really like the general direction it’s headed and I’m excited to see where it goes. However I do have a slight issue with it and that’s the scout rates. The rates in this game are garbage, especially with the weapon scout, and I feel like some people are going to gradually lose interest in the game if they can’t pull good characters or weapons. I don’t hate the Gacha system at all, I just think the rates should be higher for characters and weapons so that the game will live a while and not die out due to bad rates.

The best game in the world. This game isn’t like a lot of other games that have the character’s names wrong on purpose. This game is a unique game where it makes imagination into technology.

Gotta say, I was sceptical going into this game, being a mobile game and all, but this has been one of the most enjoyable mobile games I’ve played so far, from a story that provides unique background to key characters, to more in-depth explanations of certain scenes, there is obviously a high level of effort and passion that went into crafting this game, however I do hold some qualms when it comes to the pvp mode, I was quite excited to pair my characters against others players characters, however I soon found myself tearing through the ranking system and before I knew it I had reached the max rank, not only that, but I realised I still had a huge amount of time before the ranking system reset, so a reduction in the time sparingly would be appreciated in terms of keeping the ranked experience fresh for players, as once the story is completed, that is the games biggest game mode, another thing that is desperately needed is major events that introduce raid bosses, with tons of health, introducing a player to player guild system would also benefit both the game and the suggested raid mode greatly, as gulf rewards could inspire a longer player interest in the game, cheers to the Dev’s for this great game! Not that good. I was trying out the app because it looked cool. After a couple minutes I noticed that it had no volume at all, I even messed around with the volume on my phone and still had no sound. The game also drains your battery, I lost 35% of my battery (with low power mode on) after 15 minutes of playing

Not working :(. I’ll have to give this one two stars because I love the gameplay and the visuals both are amazing and I’m completely into it, however when I try and play the first quest mission with the big tree the game just crashes, I’m playing on iphone 6 and it would be great if they could fix this problem but at the moment I can’t even play the game properly.

Not bad game. I like the story and the graphics especially the graphics really good but what I mostly want for all players is to make the game easier like maybe give them a Legendary weapon to help them on there Journey to complete the story but so far it is not so bad this is why I give them four stars.

AMAZING. I was pleasantly surprised when this game popped up on the App Store. I had high expectations coming for this game and so far, it has BLOWN THEM OUT OF THE WATER. This game has a great story (condensed into good chunks), great graphics and great voice acting. One thing I love about this game is it’s innate ability to allow other minor characters to gain the spotlight which is really nice to see and explore. This game has been great so far and hopefully it can continue to be so over time. Keep up the good work! :)

Awesome but few things. I love this game! I’ve been playing other SAO games and none of them were that good until I found this developer. I played your other SAO games and they were really good so hearing about this I was super excited. It didn’t disappoint but I have trouble getting into the game because of a few issues. First, it keeps telling me that my reception is bad while I’m have full bars, so I move around but to no avail. Second, the scout rates are garbage. Maybe it’s just me but this is an issue in a lot of your games? Otherwise I love this game and am excited to see its progress

One step closer to VR. Tonight I have just played this game, and it is incredible! When I first downloaded this game, I thought it was just about the Alicization arc. But when I saw quests related to SAO, I instantly loved this game. The character interactions, The storylines, the battles and everything else about this game... it really feels like you are going on a journey with Kirito and his friends and that I can be in the world with them. After watching all the seasons of SAO, my utopia wasn’t the swimming pool, parks, or even my own bedroom anymore. My utopia is virtual worlds as I can have real friends and experience several emotions as I would in real life. Although this is the only way I can go on a journey like Kirito did, I really hope that someday, someone or a group of people will be interested enough in virtual reality to invent technology that will have the same objective as the Nervegear and the Amuspshere. So that every SAO fan will be able to experience the same things as Kirito and his friends do.

Nice but one small problem. Don’t get me wrong! I absolutely love everything about the game the characters,quest,events I just love it but the only thing i hate is this i’ll explain: I had a account with a characters I really loved (my most favourite eydis memories of the abyss)! But then i accidentally deleted it and I lost my data after I re-downloaded it again and I lost all of my progress and I know there was a way you could save ur progress but I didn’t know at the time so I was hoping if there was a update of the game saving your progress EVEN if you delete it and don’t have a password but other than that ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Keep the work up!

Yeah, nah. Huge letdown. If I wanted a turn based game where monsters pop out at you and there’s no way of avoiding them, then I would have downloaded pokemon. Sao is supposed to be a free roam game.

Really amazing but hard to advance. The game is really fun and the graphics are amazing, storyline and character skills are all unique and great but as you past through the start, it becomes hard to advance as the chances for scouting 4 stars are quite rare and it is really hard to get better weapons and characters but the game is still really fun and I recommend it for any sao fans

More underhanded than others. The game has a good story design but this is required if players are going to keep playing the game after acquiring max level characters. There are no ways to play other than basic combat which makes the makes the game become bland after doing basic combat again and again. The extra rules in other combats do not add to enjoyment. The later stages of the game require players to have max level characters with max level weapons and this would take over a year for an entire team of 4-star characters with the drop rate of 3% when players who do not spend money on the game may not perform an 11-scout more than once per week with reduced drop rates. There is no time in the game where the player is having a good amount of fun because in the earlygame, the player is powerless and in the lategame, the player is too powerful for anything to be a challenge. The incentive for players to spend money on the game is based on the false promise that they will have more fun once they have max level characters. This tactic is more underhanded than most other mobile games. The ordinal battle is also not a measure of skill since the skill cap of the game is so low and the ordinal battle is a measure of time/money investment. The level limit increase function should not have been added because of how long it takes to get even one character at max level limit increase. Players will have a difficult time enjoying the game whether they spend money on the game or not and the major advantage that players who spend money have doesn’t make the enjoyment any better.

Scouting rate. The chances of getting a better hero then 3* is so bad. I’ve been given so many duplicates of 2*. Example, In an 11 draw I got 3 egome 3 Alicia 4 others were duplicates of ones I owned and only 1 new character. I understand that people who don’t want to spend can earn up for scouts but that ratio is absolute garbage. Makes me not even wanna play if I can’t get other characters without spending money.

Great Game. Hey devs, this is one of the best games I’ve seen or even played before, the graphics and the quality of the skills and movements of the characters are superb, but I’ve been playing for around 6/7 months now and something I have wished was in the game is where in the guild you can put up a trade request to trade for different weapons or items to upgrade your characters, this would help out a lot of new people starting to play the game and learning how to get around the game and learn what is the good skill combination for your team, but overall a great and wonderful game

LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!!. I really love how this game delves further into the story by showing us scenes which weren’t in the anime and also develops the characters further with more backstory. AND ofc having actual animated cutscenes here and there really makes me have an internal fan scream whenever they show up! Only wish that Eydis was in the anime too coz she’s so interesting and powerful....

A must download for all anime fans, even if you don’t like SAO. I don’t really enjoy watching SAO but this game is one of the best RPG games I’ve ever played. Amazing story-line and there are varieties of spells/skills. Good graphics and fun.

Bug fixes worsened the Crashing. Ever since the bug fix. It wasn’t focused on the performance/crashing on some devices. Like the iPhone 6 I have. The crashing made it so worse I can’t even play it. Once the performance issues and crashing issues have been fixed. I might have another look

It leaves no gaps. In most games there are some areas that could be improved on which is where SAOARS has none of them I mean from online battle to the story and the flashbacks the aincrad, alfheim, gun gale and how it makes diamond cubes manageable to restore up for scouts which was a problem for SAOIF as arcana gems weren’t as easy and made certain offers very unattainable along with various glitches but SAOARS has no real problems as far as I can see he is what I envision as the perfect game.

Can’ even get in the game?!. Yeah my only problem with the game is that when it starts, after the connecting page it only comes up as asset acquisition error and that I “have to get better reception” please fix this and I will review as 5 stars cos what I saw of the game in the tutorial was awesome. Please fix this.

Fun game. This is actual fun game to play. Kind of old type strategy game but heavily stick to season 3 story as well as season 1 and 2. Playing this game actually turn back all my memories about SAO all episodes. Storyline is a nice point if people want to know more about SAO

Great game. I’m struggling to understand all the 1/2 start reviews. A lot of people calling the game Hard, P2W, saying it has horrible rates and it’s impossible to get 4 star’s. I’ve played the game for a couple weeks now, since it came out. I have completed the entire story on Normal. Have approximately 10+ 4* characters, 5 pieces of 4* gear, have completed every currently available event, and am sitting at SS rank in the online Ordinal Leaderboard. All of this was achieved by playing casually, with not a single cent spent on this game. The game is great, it has amazing animation and tells the story perfectly, even including some backstory that wasn’t shown in the anime. I can recommend this game wholeheartedly.

Always rashes. After playing the part with the goblins it said to start something else but it crashed. I opened it up again and it took me straight to the level and crashed in 2 seconds over and over again!

Best for sao lovers. If your into sao like I am then your going to like this game. It’s pretty easy to get good but not too easy(I personally like that). It’s like Pokémon but with the characters that you like. It’s fun collecting characters and creating the team that best suits you. I love playing it in my free time and showing my friends my progress. For my friends who like the anime, it gives them a throwback to an amazing show every time they see me play. Can you PLEASE!! fix the crash issue, it’s awful!!. I’ve been playing this game for a year and recently switched to a brand new iPhone 8, I can run all sorts of other games but when it comes to sao, I’ll be mid event and the game will crash and I will lose all my battle progress. This is infuriating and I’ve tried everything to fix It, it doesn’t even put you back into your previous unfinished battle like it used to, it scraps all your progress! please, for the love of god fix this, this is one of my favourite games and it is now unplayable because I cannot progress in events. multiple people also have this issue yet you’ve continued not to fix it, please do not invest in this game because it’s unplayable.

Incredible!. This game is amazing. Visuals are top notch, and graphics are 10/10. Only thing that once again disappoints is the amount of data and all of the information one user has to take in from approximately 8 Tutorials. Drop rates are balanced, though it’s a bit too easy to get 4 star Chars. Please fix those things I mentioned!

good game. personally i’ve had no problem with the game in any way. the gameplay is different then most mobile games i would play but it is surprisingly more strategical then it seems. it takes no time at all to get a good amount of characters and form a decent party, but if you want to grind to the top ranks it’s a long journey. this game has animated scenes that would make you think came straight out of the anime and the story is long and interesting. everything is well balanced too, so even if you’re a pay to win player you have to go grind to get to a high level.

Please fix it.. I’m stuck in the beginning where Kirito says “I’m Kirito, the swords men”

It crash’s sooo much for me. I started playing this, and I could not play any levels because it crashed I tried again and again but it kept crashing Not a bad game but please somebody tell me why it crash’s so much!

Amazing game. This is an amazing sao game and I have enjoyed every second playing it but I went on the game and it told me I had to restart form the begin and I lost all my data towards the game and all the hours I put into it and I don’t know how to get it back. Please help

Great Game!. It’s a amazing game and the crashing should maybe be due to storage, maybe your devices storage is really full so try freeing up some space

Bug fix. My game on iPad now has this verification error about the data already being transferred to my device. I don't know what the problem is but I can't play. I'll have to uninstall it and reinstall it again this is the second time

Decent game. The animations are really good and the game is very free to play friendly (generous) in terms of gacha. But after completely the story and getting top 100 in events, it’s getting boring. Still occasionally log on to roll, but I feel there is nothing really new to make me want to play this game. The enhancement skills are pretty fun, but there are no new main battle mechanics added. I’m sure it will be difficult to add new mechanics but if you compare this game to Genshin Impact or Arknights or Fate Grand Order, this game is lacking in multiple aspects. Also, for all those that had their game crashed, this game kinda requires a good phone (like an iPhone 11 or something) with decent amount of storage.

Pretty good for a mobile game but…. I love SAO and this game is really good! Only problem with it is the crashing: I can be playing the game and it just crashes. I’m using an iPhone 8 so I didn’t think it would be all that terrible, but I finished Eldrie’s battle and it crashed, forcing me to fight him again. Every time I try to load into the game, I get to see the level and then it crashes. I don’t get the option to leave the level or anything. It’s been doing this a few times now, so I’m hoping that uninstalling the app will work!

Way worse than memory defrag. If you are looking for a game to replace sao md as it has gone down this does not fill the void. It is way less fun and the combat is boring as I would expect for a mobile game.

The transfer does not help. I have played this game for a year or two to be erased of all my progress by just a small mistake and needed to transfer it is much harder as most of my account that I saved are erased like they don’t exist even if you do save it and you get a new one then you log in to the same one it erased the last one that you did in which is meaning you have to start all over again in which is infuriating plz find an easier way to save transfer progress

Crashing. I’ve played this game around 6 months ago and it was really good. I loved the gameplay and the story modes. But I deleted the game because I needed more storage space. I have now redownloaded the game to play again but every time I try to play the game just keeps crashing at the starting screen. I have one of the newer gen iPads and it’s software update is up to the latest version. I just want to play with my old account. Please fix the crashing issue or allow me to move my data onto a different device without having to login.
