Excellent. I Really enjoy this app for flower and food blog shots. Incredibly detailed focused and exciting photos come out easily. Nature shots are great and I only do some night shots. The new apple night Vision works , but this app adds much more detail brightness and additive processing improving on the original native photo a lot! I really want easy astrophotography, I tried to find the latest comet seen easiest by camera but very limited for eyesight only. This app did not help much. Can you Add some basic astrophotography needs such as how to integrate tripod with longer repeating image taking say just repeating what the app does already and adding later an hours worth?add histogram and filters for city lights, the hardest thing is to photo the moon with city lights, perhaps iPhones will never be able to do so? And this app really shines with golden hour portraits and nature photos, super improvement over stock apple camera app! Super thanks! I use this app daily and alternate with apple camera app to see which one is better!

A okay camera app that make your phone close to those have night mode build-in. I was looking for an app which can take night mode picture like other new phone does, and this app does the job (some/most of the time). here is my break down with side by side compare with the stock app which doesn’t have night mode: for good lighting condition, stock app take a better picture; for low light condition, this app use multi exposure to output a better shoot (brighter and more detail than the stock app); for dark (limit lighting) condition, this app doesn’t seem to use multi exposure, instead, it seems like take only one shoot and adjust the brightness only, and I compare to the shoot that I took in stock app (and manually adjust the brightness), the stock app somehow captured more detail than this app does. This app seems more like a modify version of HDR for some of the low light conditions rather than a night mode camera app. I will love to see the improvement of this app so I can keep using this app instead of consistently switch between with the stock app based on environment condition. Overall it’s a good app for only couple dollars.

Great creation, just needs some UX polish. Kudos to the people who created this — I really appreciate the technology and efforts that went into making this. I think the user experience could use some polish. First, after taking a picture, the entire app is blocked by a loading indicator that says “Processing” — perhaps this can be done in the background? At the very least, continuing to show the live viewfinder would be nice. Blocking the entire experience for 5+ seconds after every shot feels like a very choppy picture-taking experience. Second, as someone who doesn’t use Instagram, the dedicated button in the in-app gallery is just extra noise. It seems redundant given that there’s a share button right next to it (and maybe this could be changed to the generic iOS share icon, rather than a “reply” icon). Additionally, one thing that irks me is the extremely vague privacy policy. It’s very ambiguous and not clear what data of mine is being stored (which hopefully, is none). That being said, this really is a great app, congratulations to the creators of it!

Latest Update Removes Features. When I first purchased this app, I paid $5 to have features that the regular camera app did not have. Now those features are locked away under a subscription model. This is a bait and switch plain and simple. UPDATED REVIEW: The developer listened to the negative reviews and decided to go back to the way the app used to be. The features I paid for initially are no longer stuck behind a subscription and are now part of the base app. I appreciate their willingness to listen to their users. Back to normal!

Absolutely worth $2.99. This review will sound negative in the beginning but it isn’t, I am a fan of this app. I am sure there are dozens if not more camera apps that will allow a user to adjust the aperture, shutter speed and ISO of the iPhone camera. I probably have 3-4 on my phone right now. All of those apps make this app completely unnecessary. That said, I rarely want to take the time to do that on my iPhone. That is what I have an expensive DSLR for. So if I have apps that do what this app does and I have a DSLR that does what this app does, why do I really like this app? Cause it is simple and it works. I bought this app this morning and then my family and I visited 2 museums that did not allow flash photography. These weren’t pitch black museums but they needed a flash. It was so nice to open this app and take a picture and have the app work each and every time. And for me, what was impressive was that the light was very well balanced with no bright spots or over-dark shadows and the contrast had sufficient range as well. Now I admit I have not blown these up yet in Photoshop and examined them at 300% but if you want a low light app that will extend the range of your iPhone without you having to think or take a test shot or two, spend the $2.99, it is more than worth it.

Great App. I have an 8+ and have used quite a few low light apps and IMHO this is the best. I’m looking forward to any updates that can improve upon this, particularly with contrast. Thanks to the developers for their hard work. I’ve been on the latest update and have not seen the tripod icon..is there a way to access the long exposure mode? I’ve tried in dark conditions and no tripod icon yet ... thanks for any assistance

Just needs a few tweaks. After using NeuralCam a bit longer and comparing it to other apps that are supposed to do low light photography, I decided to rewrite my review. My main complaint was that it tends to blow out certain lighter tones and highlights. That is still an issue, and at times it tends to give results with too much yellow, but the brightness has pretty much become my only real complaint. I can adjust the yellows afterward. If you could perhaps have the ability to use some exposure compensation I think this app would be near perfect. I am amazed at how clean the images are, virtually no noise and great detail. I compared to the vividHDR and LowLight + in ProCamera and there is absolutely no doubt how much better NeuralCam is in my mind. All I ask for really is to be able to tone down the brightness on the picture in general. I don’t think it needs just the highlights turned down because the balance seems great and would look odd if just the highlights were brought down. Anyway, love what the app can do and if it could be more consistent and less bright it would easily be one of the best apps on my phone. Make it capable of doing what it does in portrait mode and wow, that would really be something. Not regretting the purchase at all at this point and just hoping for a few tweaks to really dial it in. Would even be willing to pay for an upgrade that fixes the brightness issue.

NeuralCam is Awesome!. App does a great job in low-light situations, adding vibrant color and an “HDR” effect. It all depends on the subject though. Made an early-morning sunrise look vibrant and beautiful! I’ve found no (iPhone) app that can take a suitable photo of a bright moon. NeuralCam is lots of fun just snapping photos of objects in low-light/almost-dark situations and seeing what it can do. Absolutely worth the small purchase price and highly recommended!

Give us more manual options. Other than the focus settings please give us the option for shutter speed as we have to hold the phone very very still for shots and sometimes id like to sacrifice some light for a sharper less blurry image and a quicker photo time. Otherwise fantastic app, I just thought there was more settings to it

Expecting some extra feature. I loved the app especially how it holds such low light conditions with great efficiency. I expect some major improvement though. Like controlling the camera app manually by adding iso , white balance , exposure and all those stuffs and the mode we are already using would be added there as auto night mode feature. With this added stuffs , I believe this app would be in the top 5 paid apps in apple store . Looking forward for such features .

Horrible Night Mode Camera App. I feel like I was set up based on a few You Tube recommendations of this App if you are not ready to upgrade to the iPhone 12. Photos taken using this App are slow, noisy- COME OUT Grainy and Blurry. Reviews I read were from last year at the $2.99 price. So when I saw that it is currently $5.99 I said to myself “Oh, Great they must have made additional enhancements to further justify the price increase.” Boy was I WRONG!!! This App is a Total let down and I’d like a REFUND. Looks like I’ll be updating to the iPhone 12 PRO sooner than I thought!

Reviewed in low light areas. I have an iPhone 7Plus and this app truly does work very well in low light areas. The price is perfect at 2.99. The camera has no real settings so if you like to customize the camera app this may not be the app for you. The only settings there are is if you want to manually or automatically focus. But it does give you an option to share directly to your Instagram and it saves automatically to your camera roll.

Great app for taking pictures in dark areas.. I really like this app. It does a great job. It was too noisy with a shutter sound previously but the developer took care of that. I used it at the Holocaust museum and other places. It worked great. The noise was the only problem. It seems to be fixed. So I highly recommend this app. It does a terrific job of taking photos in dark places. You do need to hold the camera steady. The developer did a great job of fixing the problem. I originally gave it a one star. It was fixed in a very short timeframe. Five stars to you. Good job.

The noise :(. Man I was having really high hopes for this app. Ever since I saw what the iPhone 11 could do for night images, I thought this app would do justice. I was impressed with how much the image was lit up, but the detail behind it was too noisy. I was not expecting that at all. Maybe it’s because I have a 7 plus but still. The other guy with the 7+ who wrote a review making it seem that the images would be great. I guess I really do need to get the 11

Updated review. Updated review: I’m happy this developer listened to their customer base. I was having trouble in the past with Tripod mode which is now fixed. The app is working better than I had expected. I was using another app that did extremely well for night shots, but without a tripod it was harder because we do t all have tripods with us everywhere we go. Now it’s working at my expectation and I am very pleased. It’s performing wonderfully now and I applaud the developer. Tripod mode was fixed since the update which I guess is good, though I don’t see a difference in my test shots. However is very disheartening to have paid money for an app just to have them add subscriptions after an update. When you pay for an app you expect to have access to all features included in updates, not suddenly have new features blocked because of an update that wants a subscription. I feel like I just threw my money away. Extremely disappointed! The non subscription portion of the app works fine but there’s no way I can in good conscience rate higher for this downright greedy/shady move towards subscriptions after having already paid money for the app. This app loses stars because of that. And unfortunately I will be deleting it.

LOVE the version 2 update!. As an XS owner I was feeling a little left out with all iPhone 11 apps as if I had an ancient phone LOL. Thanks for being so inclusive with your latest update. I’ve truly enjoyed this app and appreciate the hard work and thought creating a quality tool for catching priceless moments.

Very Disappointed. I love this app. I have taken photos at dusk when I could barely see yet the photos look like they were taken in daytime. I’m ecstatic to see this app offer a pro version but it’s so bittersweet since it will cost $40 a year every year. I don’t know why a developer can’t show some morality and sell the app, with all its bells and whistles, for a final set price — like Mac apps.

It’s An Okay Camera App.. I have been using Neuralcam next to the iPhone 11 Pro Max camera app and I have to say I have much better results with the stock app from Apple and especially in low light. Not sure if I’m missing a feature on Neuralcam but from the results I’m getting, the Apple camera app is taking much better pictures in low light. I wish I could share the pics I just took to show the difference. It’s drastic. The Apple camera app wins with my usage.

Good app. Developer professional and responsive.. Developer listened to feedback on bad addition of charging subscription for a camera app. This is a great app for a ONE-TIME purchase that will take excellent night time photos that far exceed the default camera app. You just have to wait 4-5 sec for processing to complete and have a steady hold on the camera. If the developer seeks to monetize the app more, then in-app purchases for filters, cloud storage, etc. are more likely to be acceptable than a subscription for existing features.

Great app for lowlight!. I’ve been debating on exchanging my iPhone 8 for a Pixel just for the night site alone. For me this keeps me with my iPhone 8. My only complaints are I wish it exported at a higher resolution for the iPhone 8. Also some of the lighter objects in dark environments get blown out. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the lower resolution output, but I wish it was better optimized for the iPhone 8. I’ll look forward hopefully to improvements through future updates. Update: Thought it would be useless for my new iPhone 11, but works for both ultra wide and front camera. The regular camera is not quite as good as Apple Night Mode, but with constant updates, it has potential and I’m looking forward to it!

Great but crappy dynamic range. It’s one of the first app that I bought on appstore . First I used to use it on an iPhone 7 and now using it on iPhone x. I love it . But just this little thing which makes it not usable. The dynamic range is very bad . Whenever it gets even a tiny light source it just blows things out. Please fix it. It just one step closer to be the perfect nightmode. Also a tip : recently google released their camera techs as far as I know. They have one of the best camera app in the industry. You might find that useful and implement it on this camera app. Good regards

Awesome low light performance. Apple forcing you to buy the newest iPhone just to get better low light pictures is ridiculous. This app extended the life of my XS and provides a feature that apple should have rolled out to all of its customers...not just the ones who buy a new phone every year.

Great photo app for capturing detail.. I was very impressed with this app. Purchasing was a no-brainer. The value added to night images on my iPhone 7, and iPhone SE gen 2, would have been worth the price. Turns out that forcing 4, 8, or 12 exposures makes every image exquisite regardless the amount of light available. I now use this app any time that I want to ensure I capture as much detail as possible.

Updated from 1 to 4 stars ( bug on iPhone regular cam looks like it was fixed). Trying to find my review from a few days ago, but unable to. My stock iPhone camera was not working after using this app - unless I rebooted phone. This terrible bug seems to be gone after this update. Thank you!! Also, it is not everyday when you see developers actually listen to their customers, at least in my experience. So A BIG THANK YOU for listening and removing the subscription feature and letting us all who paid for this app use these pro features. All the best!

Same iPhone, Better Results. Using on an iPhone XS. Low light pictures look absolutely stunning 8/10 times using this app! 100% worth the entry fee. Even with portrait shots with slightly moving subjects, it looks terrific! The only thing I wish I could do is defer the processing so I don’t miss a moment, but I understand if that is not technically possible. The UX has improved significantly since the first time I used the app, and am hoping for a few more surprises in the future in that area. Thanks devs for a great app!

Excellent app for night photography!. Tried a few free apps and it always fell short. This one however came through pretty darn awesomely! I bought this app specifically to take pics of light art at night and they came out better than I expected from a non dslr. Blown away!

Well worth the money!. I was thinking about updating my iPhone 7 to a newer model to get low light ability with the camera, I downloaded this app after reading a review of the new iPhone SE and the reviewer talking about this app. What a huge difference this made, I can make photos in darkened rooms without the flash!

Ruined by Subscription. This app used to be amazing. Then they introduced the very overpriced subscription. I don’t mind supporting developers for updates but for what this is, there is no reason to pay the amount they are asking for to subscribe even yearly. Unless this is offloading images to their servers, $35/year is way too much. It also shouldn’t even offload to their servers as that’s severely dangerous. I wouldn’t mind paying $10/year or $1/month. But at $5/month and $35/year, that’s just highway robbery. I recommend finding other options unfortunately. Sad to see so many devs ruin their products with subscriptions.

Last update made me uninstall the app. I had already paid in order to download and use the app and all of its full features. After the latest update I’m forced to start a subscription in order to keep using the features I already had before. I do not understand why do I have pay again AND keep paying monthly/yearly AFTER I had already purchased the full app. Sorry, uninstalled. Update: Developers listened to its users and removed the subscription model. Thank you, I reinstalled the app and changed the review.

Nice app!. I have an iPhone 11, and the upgrade on the iPhone camera in regards to a night camera lessen the value of NeuralCam for me in general. If I still had my older phone, this would be a game changer! However, it does allow me to take night cam selfies, which iPhone 11 does not do on its own. One thing I really wish you had included in the update was a pinch to zoom option!!

Works great and support responded immediately. Been really impressed with the results so far. Side by side pics of this vs artificially blowing things out in post process shows that you can definitely get much better results using NeuralCam. I emailed asking for more clarification on the privacy statement and was assured that everything is done locally and that they don’t store images on their side. I’ve been watching the data used under Settings / Cellular / Cellular Data and this confirmed that images were being stored and handled locally only. I really appreciated the quick response from them.

Great app - thanks for listening. [Update] A great night camera app that allows any phone to take low light photos. While the makers briefly added a subscription on top of the initial paid price, they have since removed it from listening to the negative feedback. As long as this app stays at a one time payment price, I cannot recommend it more. However, there are many bugs that have introduced with the new update (zooming in on pics, app crashing, not exporting, etc.), I’m sure these will be gone soon though.

Amazing! Hold onto your X/XS!. This is such an amazing app. I first saw pixel ads on tv showing off the night camera mode. Then I wondered what Apple’s response was. No software update to the XS. New phone, 11 comes out. Maybe they’ll backport the new night shot to the XS? Nope. That was literally the only thing I desired about the 11. My XS is running great, battery health at 98%, and most importantly, it’s not paid off yet! After research I found many reviews about this and bought it. Easily the best three bucks spent. I’m floored at how well it makes vibrant night shots so sharp WITHOUT a tripod! Mind = Blown. Of course a tripod or just setting the phone on a shelf makes it better. Thanks, to the developer, who has just made my XS Max just as awesome and modern as the 11. P.S. Developer, when my phone is locked in portrait orientation (which is 99% of the time for me) the image is saved 90 degrees off, like it isn’t accounting for the rotation of the phone. The built in iPhone camera app saves the photo fine regardless of the orientation lock setting.

Used to be better. This app used to be amazing. My iPhone XS and SE 2020 got great night mode photos out of this app, but then they updated it and the app crashes if a scene is actually dark enough to need the app. I have no idea how to fix it and uninstalling does not help. They locked a lot of features behind a paywall too, like upscaling, and the app costs money to begin with. It’s sad to see a good thing go down like this. I hope they fix it.

Impressive. Took a few pics with each in a darker location. Compared to the Camera app the NeuralCam images were significantly better. Even after processing the Camera images in Photoshop the images from NeuralCam were better, especially in the darker locations. I’ll certainly be using NeuralCam in low light situations.

Just Shutter Speed (?). As I know technics of photography as an advanced hobbyist - it feels like all this app does is reducing the shutter speed, while Apple introduces its night shots like just taking a photo, even if you don’t see anything. Therefore no blur caused from movement whatsoever. This app, in lower light environments - just reduces the shutter speed, causing me trouble to get a steady shot, then it takes multiple photos - but the end result is still blurry. As someone who knows how to do it manually, this app is unnecessary. I was excited for this app, but got disappointed from the results. I’m sorry guys, I know the hard work that goes into development, and I hope you’ll do make something interesting out of my 3$.

Good app, developers fixed mistake. I’m extremely pleased the developers owned their mistake and realized it’s a bad idea to push a subscription on users of an existing paid app. While I have no problem paying for cool new features it would have been smarter to make them an optional 1 time in app purchase that prompts you once and then has an option to later purchase it in the settings menu or roll it out as a new app altogether. It was a bad idea to have an intrusive buy subscription button on the front page of a paid camera app but thankfully the developers realized their mistake and took the bold move necessary to make it right for their customers.

Too noisy. I have just bought the app after praising reviews I read. I compared the pictures from my iPhone XS Max with this app’s camera. I was not expecting miracles, but the low light picture were clean and nice and much better than the iphone original camera. Though, I am really disappointed with the shutter noise, not only is just too load, but having the shutter sound is unnecessary since other phones take many picture in the background without such a noisy sound. I had to silence the phone to feel OK. I will continue to experiment with this app in the next few weeks. I would love to give it 5 stars for the picture quality, but the shutter sound makes it really hard to do so. I urge the developers to mute the shutter, or make it optional, or lower the volume a lot to make the app good for day to day use.

It keeps crashing. Seems like a good app when it works, produces good results at night when it isn’t crashing. Crashed 7 times after collecting its photos and started the analysis phase, crash! Each time. Cleared the app out, same problem. Restarted my phone, got a photo, next time, crash! Re downloaded the app, got a couple of photos and started the crash cycle all over. If they can address this problem, I will reevaluate the app. Until then, it’s basically worthless.

iPhone Night Mode vs NeuralCam. I originally purchased NeuralCam to use on the XS Max as I didn’t know if I wanted to get an 11 Pro yet. For the XS Max (and probably all other iPhones prior to the 11) this app is amazing! Having the ability to shoot night/dark setting photos without having to upgrade is great. However, I did wonder how this app stacked up to iPhones official night mode. Well I upgraded to an 11 Pro Max, and the results are very close. iPhones night mode is amazing, but NeuralCam holds its own. The big differences I was able to see is that neuralcam takes a little bit longer to focus and process the picture than iPhones night mode. The results are pretty much the same, except I can’t tell if Neuralcam’s results are just a smidge darker or if they’re adding this warm tone to the picture. Either way, it’s a great purchase if your not going to be upgrading to an 11 but want night mode shooting. But I’d say even with the iPhone 11 it’d be worth a purchase since it does let you do night mode shooting with the ultra wide lens, and iPhones night mode won’t let you do that yet.

Shady description practice. TL:DR - the pictures are good, but you are not getting all the features advertised. Wording of app description makes it appear to include things such as the 24mp and 48mp upscaling. You have to look at each screenshot to see that 48mp upscaling is not included in the $4 price tag but rather costs an additional $4. Then, once you get the app, you find out that 24mp upscaling is also not included in the original price. No where on there app description does it state this and even in my communication with the app developer team they stated I should have access to every feature except the 48mp upscaling.

Developer Listened to Feedback. I am VERY happy to see that the developer reversed the decision to go to a subscription model. Instantly back to five stars, and I would be more than willing to pay for individual “DLC” features if more are developed. (Without taking any away from the base app of course) Dev- I hope you read this, and sincerely thank you for listening to your customers. This app is great.

Definitely eye catching if you don’t have an iPhone 11. I was under the impression this app takes multiple pics and forms on good one from those.. but your results won’t be different than using the native camera app, turning OFF hdr, and slightly adjusting more light to come in.. same results only must quicker than this app.. hoping for the app to be like googles “night sight” or iphones “night mode” I was let down.. wouldn’t recommend buying this app unless they did a solid update for the iPhone XS or 8.. since you can get the same results on the native camera app..

Great when it works. I just upgraded from an iPhone SE 2016 to an iPhone SE 2020 and bought this app thinking I would finally be have the one feature I was waiting to upgrade for after a brief stint owning a Pixel 3. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to say I’m enjoying this app yet because every time I go to take a photo, the entire app crashes and closes during the processing phase right before the photo is saved to my camera roll. I’m really bummed. I’d love to submit a bug report with a video of the error, but the crash stops my screen recording too! Yikes.

11 MAX Pro Sharper. Did a comparison in exactly the same area and subject. While NeuralCam provided a brighter image as did the 11 Pro’s built in night feature the sharpness was not as good as the built in low light feature on the 11 MAX Pro. For other iPhone versions this app will help. The 11 MAX Pro except for not having low light wide angle feature will do a better job...sorry just telling it like it is.

Good app, just needs one more thing. The auto brightening on the app now is mostly broken, it overexposes most daylight pictures so they look blown out and unrealistic. Could you please make it so that when you select to disable the auto brightening feature, that option persists even if you close the app and reopen it? Gets really annoying having to turn the feature off every time you start the app if it’s been closed since the last time you used it. With auto brightening off, photos are excellent.

Disappointed. I recently attained the new iPhone 11 Pro MAX and I was using the new night mode on my camera and wanted to compare it to an app that I thought would have more experience in the matter. I bought this app and took the same picture with the standard iPhone 11 Pro’s night mode, and this app’s night mode. The iPhone’s results were much clearer and it looked like a real photo, whereas this app’s results were just about as useless as my eyes for seeing in the dark. I know it’s only a few $$ for this app, but it is not worth it. The app also has a major lag when it’s in automatic mode, and it keeps making multiple sporadic shutter sounds after pressing the capture image button once. I apologize for being critical, but I think this app needs it, and hopefully the money I probably won’t get refunded back, knowing Apple, will go towards making this app a little bit better.

Very Laggy. I was unable to produce any pictures better than what I was getting with the default camera app. Also, there is a lot of lag from what is being shown and what you are pointing the lens at. It makes it very frustrating to use. The volume up button doesn’t work to take a picture. I know it says it in the description, but there are features behind a pay wall after you pay for the app. I don’t see the value in any of it.

Up to the Hype. This is a Homescreen App.. After extensive use, I’m here to say, yes, this is it. This is what you want and it hasn’t existed up till now. Unless you have a TON of light in your scene, you’re gonna want to use this app every time. Can be used no matter how dark it is—if there’s a little light you might still get a cool shot. The results are in most cases not improvable by post processing. It’s that good. Even a well lit indoor scene is improved by this app. Outdoors in the sun you don’t need it but that’s about it. This is serious.

great low-light! always improving. UPDATE: the latest version has been improved! my Xʀ still crashes on the highest resolution photo setting, but works just fine on lower ones. it used to crash all the time. impressive results too! looking forward to seeing where this app goes... OLD REVIEW (devs replied): app is barely useable, crashes each time i try to take a photo. yes, all permissions it asked for are given. i’m using an iPhone Xʀ if that helps you devs. also, for some reason there is a ( 1x ) button in the middle-bottom of the viewfinder, where the zoom button might be on multiple-lens phones (the Xʀ is obviously single-lens). when i press this ( 1x ) button, the app freezes for a second, then the button disappears

A Very Usable Low Light Mobile Camera. I don’t normally write a review, but I love this app, a great low light camera in a pinch as I don’t always bring my system camera. but I do have several occassions where the app crashed while processing images, and losing what was captured, it’d be great if the app can retain the images and resume processing on the next app launch. Also, support for dual lens would be amazing, allowing us to choose the either the 26mm or 52mm and potentially for the ultra wide lens ;-) and Focus Peaking for manual focus please ...

Works well (depends on iPhone series). 12/05/20 Update: Works well on Xs Max. At least on objects. Colour accuracy is still slightly off. Highlights handled better. Different results for different iPhone series. ——————————————————- Rather disappointing (on iPhone 7 Plus) Firstly, this is not a replacement or a substitute for night mode (at least for the moment). Couldn’t reproduce accurate colour true to life, either too saturated or not saturated enough. The single object of this app seems to be making the photos taken brighter, at all cost. Colour accuracy suffers. Highlights are often blown. I wish there was a setting to adjust the amount of highlights, maybe even before a photo is taken. To preserve the details. The AI might need to be trained/tweaked more to be able to get results close to the standard camera app in terms of accurate colour reproduction and highlights treatment amongst other things. That said, this is a brilliant app. An extra star for the efforts. 3 stars. I hope that this app would become better and better. And maybe one day, hopefully, it could give results that match the night mode.

Impressed. Great app! Would be great if it auto orients when you turn the phone like the stock photo app and others even if iPhone orientation is locked. Also, would five star this if there was an adjustment setting for effect amount and saturation, etc. or if it updates to have a more balanced/flatter final image. Great on some scenes but too much (HDRish and saturation) on some. Thanks guys! :) Well done!

Ok for older phones. Not worth it on 13. I remember on my iPhone X this app blew me away. On the 13 though, the stock camera provides far better results on all fronts (at a fraction of the time). I did purchase the upscaling add on to see if anything changed but no difference, in my opinion. I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes though, the Google camera has shown that software can dramatically improve the quality of an image through AI processing, perhaps this will catch up for portraits and HDR images.

Very Impressive. I’m a professional photographer and an iPhone user. I don’t always have my professional gear with me. Taking iPhone photos in low light has always been a near impossible task to get something useable. With the iPhone’s recent decline in lowlight photography capabilities (especially when compared to other brands) I started to look around for an app that could fix the iPhone’s lowlight photography capabilities from a software/algorithmic approach. I’m very happy to say that NeuralCam is that fix for me. I have an iPhone XS and comparison images from this app compared to the default camera app on iPhone is like comparing chalk & cheese. Well done Neural Cam ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great effort. There’s plenty of potential with this app. The noise reduction might be a tad too aggressive, causing some loss of detail, and some highlights get blown out. But on the whole, this is a very impressive app, particularly since Apple doesn’t seem interested in bringing Night Mode to older phones. I’d love to see how this performs after the next 6 months of updates.

From AUS.. I find this a good app for low light pictures and have taken photos as trial, the results pretty good on my iPhone. I like to know why there is no zoom with it. I’ve now tried on my iPads 11 & 12.5 , I then see the Grids don’t show on iPads but works on iPhone. Overall I like the app and pleased with photos it takes. Great for night or low light photos.

Thank you. As an owner of iPhone X, I was extremely jealous of iPhone 11 Pro night mode photography. Found this app by accident and have managed to take some very nice lowlight photos similar to night mode on iPhone 11 Pro. Thank you so much for creating this app.

Wow.. This app really surprised me. It does what it claims, and has the best night photography that I’ve seen. One thing, could you please add the option to shoot in RAW?

Great app with a responsive developer. I left a review previously about the poor UI of the app in the past. Not only has that been addressed thoroughly, the developer responded to my (and many others’) review personally acknowledging the shortcoming.

There is no iPad version of this app. The UI on iPad is simply zoomed iPhone app.

Keeps cashing while saving pictures. Worked 3 times and then never worked. Waste of money. Initially with iPhone se 2020 the app kept crashing. After leaving negative reviews and 1 star developer fixed the issue and updated the app. Since then it’s working amazing. Overall very impressed with the results.

Not a Fan. Pics seem a little over processed & un-natural. Yes you can turn the feature off but may as well use the native iOS app then. Macro mode is a joke! You can’t focus closer than 200mm away. Other apps inc the native iOS app can focus as close as about 15mm away. All up…. Disappointing I would rather this have been a trial period app than to have spent my money on this. After seeing the results, I see why you did it this way.

Impressed , a few tweaks needed. I take many photos with my DSLR, and have always been unimpressed with iPhone low light shots. This app changes that, very impressive recovery of dark shadows with little noise. Some images are a little too satuarated though and a few highlights burnt out. If there was a manual option for reducing colour and reducing brightness ( highlights it would get 5 stars.

Extremely laggy.. The autofocus kept on focusing over and over. The laggy viewfinder is infuriating and the pictures turn out to be modest at best. Yes it’s brighter but poor in details. I wish I could refund it.

Resolution on iPad is a joke.. Really disappointing about the image resolution on 2021 iPad Pro, with the latest M1 chip, 8G RAM and best of best NPU results only 1920*1440?????? iPhone X can takes larger resolution than the iPad Pro.

The photos are ok. I do wish the photos came out clearer and that the app took the photos much quicker.

Not suitable for iPhone 6S. Results on iPhone 6S are absolutely awful, do not waste your time if you have a 6S. Developers if you are reading this, perhaps you should remove the 6S from the compatibility list, the results on this phone make you look terrible.

Scam developers. Trying to charge me a subscription after originally buying the app. I want a refund and will not continue to use this app or developer.

Meh.. Not a fan of the new interface. Older one looked better. New one looks cheap and nasty. The 2x zoom just doesn’t produce a decent photo. The normal lens produces hit and miss results. Maybe I expected too much after having a Pixel with Night Sight.

Saving issue. It’s not allowing me to take photos and asking me to enable access to photo library while it’s not providing the same as an option.. is it a glitch?

User manual doesn’t work. User manual will not open on IPhone xr

Difference is (literally) night and day. Does exactly what it’s designed to do, and - for the most part - does it very well. Have not personally tried other company’s offerings of “night sight”, but the results I’ve been getting from this app have been phenomenal. My only gripe would be the amount of time it requires to “set the exposure” in certain conditions, such as concerts with many lighting effects. This makes it hard to take pictures “in the moment” of things, as you have to wait until the app’s exposure is acclimated before taking the shot.

Can I get a refund?. Tried it and it’s not for me. I’m okay with not having this night mode feature. Too grainy and extra slow.

The latest update sucks. When I bought this app it was working well. After an update I never used this app as it degrade the quality of image. Today recieved the update the biggest update after update I found developer wants money and I can not restore my subscription. Money graber.

Rivals “NightSight” Feature 😃. I purchased this application a couple of weeks ago on the App Store for my iPhone X and I’m very happy with my purchase. I think it was well worth the 3.99 asking price it really improves nighttime photography. I have submitted some photos to them, to demonstrate the apps capabilities. when I purchased the app I wasn’t expecting much but the results were amazing in my opinion. The updates I’ve received for the app so far have only made it even better to use. I only hope that they can add video capturing capabilities in the future to this app for nighttime videography. I normally never bother leaving reviews for apps but I felt this app was so good it was worth an honest review from a regular Joe.

Impressive for the price!. I am quite satisfied with my purchase. It is taking surprisingly good pictures in bad lighting. Of course it is not equivalent to the best of iPhones night mode, but it is the thing that is coming the closest of a night mode on the iphone se 2020

Excellent night shots. Have really enjoyed using this app. It overblows the highlights on just about every shot that has lights in it; hoping they fix this in an update. But makes for some fantastic night shots that you can’t get using the default camera app.

Fantastic. Just what I was looking for.. Worth every penny - resultant images are awesome. Only gripe is the viewfinder lag but I can easily ignore this.

Great App. Takes good advantage of the A13 chip inside the iPhone SE (2020), I think a lot of you are very much expecting way more than what you should, if you’re a “pro” then why are you even using this app? Get a real camera with something that’s dedicated to taking night photos, if you take casual photos every now and then at night time, this will do the job just fine.. we’re not all pros and that’s not what this app is for anyways either.. so just chill with your 1 star reviews, this app is solid enough.

App keeps crashing during processing of photo.. I did a bunch of research and this app consistently came up as the best for low light. When it works it definitely works, however, I have lost more photos then gained due to it constantly crashing during the processing of the photo after I take the shot. This is disappointing since you have to pay for this app. Please fix the app. For reference Im using a fully updated iPhone XR.

Don’t buy Just use IOS native camera. Modern iOS night mode takes better photos than this. Try out the app and just want to see how it works without having to spend $? Good fkn luck. Don’t download, save yourself the pain

Deserves no stars. In fact it owes me stars. This $9 app takes horrible pictures. A waters of absolute money and time. YOU ARE BETTER OF WITH THE NATIVE CAMERA APP I PROMISE!

Would like a refund!. I bought this just last night for a dark sky festival I’m attending and my iPhone 11 Pro camera was working better than this. Not impressed that I paid $7 for this load 😒

Impressive, but needs some more work. Pretty fantastic app, especially for the selfie and ultra wide night mode features in the 11 series. However, I find the Ultrawide night mode to be...lacking. Details and brightness aren’t very grea,t, but that could be due to hardware limitations rather than the app. Perhaps if the devs manage to improve this...somehow, it would bump the rating up. Another criticism I have is that the app in general is a little buggy. Entering my photo I had just taken and zooming in causes it to enlarge itself and offset off the side of my phone. The picture will then refuse to reorient itself and I have to close the picture and just open it in the stock photos app. All in all, pretty impressed that the developers managed to make a night mode app for older phone models and even managed to get night mode to work on all cameras for the 11 series. Hopefully over time, improvements will be made for better details and brightness for the Ultrawide and Selfie cameras.

Don’t buy this app. It sucks and they make you pay more for new features even if you bought the app already. Don’t support this scummy business model

Camera is not working. Bought this app from the Apple Store. The camera wasn’t able to finish processing. Don’t waste your money on this app like I did. I wrote to the support, but nothing happened. Just no support.

No Wide Colour Gamut Support. Photos are only shot in the standard washed out sRGB instead of P3 Wide Colour. Waste of money. Don’t buy this app

How do I zoom in?. I can’t figure out how to zoom in or out on my iPhone XS ? Is this normal? Am I missing something? My regular iPhone camera has no problem. Can’t find any info about this. Any ideas?

Waste of money. Actually the photos taken by this app are very bad; it's just a set of parameters that don't improve the quality of the photo. After one year I had installed it, I literally never saved a picture because it looked super bad. Now I just regret wasting money for this.

Fantastic app. This is the best app I bought. Change my iPhone 10 to 12.

Best low light app. Tried a few different low light apps, this is hands down the best of them. Auto settings work great in most situations. Manual settings let’s you fine tune for best results.

Amazing camera, cool devs!. I almost never write reviews but devs reverting subscription needs to be rewarded! Awesome dark mode.

Very good app, could be better. Very good app, however if there was a timer function, it would be amazing. That way I could stabilize my phone on a mini tripod and activate the shutter without having to touch the phone at all. Apple earphones and 3rd party bluetooth shutters work as a shutter with the native camera app but not with Neuralcam. Timer or remote shutter support is a must for this type of photography. If the developers add this, the app will deserve 5 stars.

Decent app, 2.8 megapixel photos though.. Yes the app works well for night photos because they’re using bracketing, it takes 3 photos, one over exposed, one regular and one under exposed then layers them on top of each other, this has existed as long as photography has. Because of how they do this if you don’t keep it perfectly still it will be out of focus but not breathing for 3 seconds is easy to get that gram. Large downside, if you don’t have a giant iPhone or the X and newer, the output is 2.8 megapixels which is less than the iPhone 4 had. Not sure why this is but other than that it’s a neat app.

Almost perfect…. I bought the entire app with the upscaling feature. I’m pretty satisfied with the app but it’s pretty annoying when the photo is processing because I can’t take another photo until it’s done. I also wish i had the ability to take pictures in proraw. Another feature I would like to get in the future is to be able to take long exposure shots without a tripod using AI, similar to the spectre app.

Definitely helps low light. It is what it is, limited by apple’s near-sighted sensor capabilities ‘til the xs family. I’m using an XS max and shots do come out better than stock, infact miles ahead, with that being said as a standard app it does saturate a little more and blows the highlights up. I use this and also go with another app with manual controls. This does have potential but the image processing does need more polishing.

Used to be good app. Then switched to subscription model after you live paid for the app already.

Unique Feature,. incredible improvement to the picture quality through each version update; easy to use; great results at each try; the photo viewer and the 5 « styles » to choose from post capture need work, the functionality is not evident and the auto save feature doesn’t save after changing style, since the change is destructive I understand you have to save, the save image option however is half hidden in the share sheet. Finally the usefulness of the photo viewer is questionable it would be nice to save the neural info into a pseudo-raw format which would allow some flexibility in post-production; i’m thinking of a preliminary first step where the number of shots can be changed and the exposure compensation as well.

Selfie cam no longer works after update!. The selfie cam on my iPhone SE (2016) stopped working after an update in July or early August; every time I use it it freezes. Emailed NeuralCam support and received no answer! This needs to be fixed.

Awesome. Running it on iPhone XR and compared this to an iPhone 11 Pro Max in very dark environment. The 11 pro max wins on speed of shutter and processing and it turned out just a little crisper but otherwise almost the the same. I would say 90% as good. The results are really impressive!

App crashes continuously. After the latest update (2.0), the app crashes every time it tries to process a photo. Running on iPhone 8, iOS 13.3.1. Never had such issues in the past.

Bug report. Seems like lately the app has been crashing every time it tries to capture a night image.

lags and skips taking photos on ios 16.2. as title says, please fix

Waste of money. This app takes worse photos than the native Camera app. They appear washed out and blurry, especially compared side-by-side with the same photo taken by the default Camera app. Use the default Camera app or use a DSLR, because no app can make your phone camera better than it is.

Turns iPhone 6S to an iPhone 11. Wish it would do selfies on iPhone 6s (is the 6s such a different phone? I’d love to learn more about why it doesn’t work on this model) But the photos it does take look great! Not just night time photos either. The pictures are almost identical to the photos on my wife’s iPhone 11 and are head and shoulders nicer than from the native iPhone 6s camera app. I guess this shows that it’s in fact Apple’s software that’s keeping photo quality down on the older phones and not so much the hardware. Even photos taken on an iPhone 6 with this app look like they could have been taken with a modern iPhone. Night shots don’t look quite like iPhone 11 night shots - they are sometimes worse, sometimes better. Great artsy look to them in general. Well worth the price of the app. The downside is that it can’t totally replace the native app - it can’t take videos for example, you need to keep the phone steady for a while and you need to wait for each photo to be processed which can be several seconds. No panoramas, Live Photo’s etc. But solid photos! Recommended.

It gets the job done. It’s get the job done, you get your bright and crisp photo even in low light condition. Why only complaint for now os the processing time i wish it was faster than it is but as for the photo quality its perfect. I wish they would include a flash option in the app thanks

Bright but Blurry. It definitely makes the photos brighter but they're completely unusable for anything more than sending over SMS; the photos lack sharpness with all details muddy to a point where the image looks like a painting. I'd prefer to a photo at ISO 25,600 and deal with the noise instead of the paste that this app produces.

Better than Native Night Mode. I never thought Apple’s native night mode on the iPhone 11 series can be beaten by a third party App. This one proved me wrong. Simply put, Neural Cam takes brighter, less noisy, more detailed photos than the native night mode. Not to mention the benefit that you can take night shots on the front camera and the ultra wide camera too. The greatest surprise has to be that object movement and camera shake are automatically detected by Neural Cam and won’t affect the output photo. You don’t see that on any other third party App.

This app is great- when it works. Last year I used this app all the time. It takes great pictures of the northern lights - or it did. After an update, it glitches constantly, takes solid black photos, crashes frequently and is generally not the same app I paid for. Not sure what happened, but it's a shame- I really did like the app.

Saves at low resolution.. Would have been nice to know that it wouldn’t save at full resolution on my 8 Plus before I spent the money. 1920x1440, not even 3 megapixels. Edit to add: My bad for not reading here closely enough. I had read an article about this app at Digital Photography Review before searching for it at the App Store, assuming the article was thorough enough.

All features are back!. The devs have removed the subscription and brought all features back. I understand they want to make money, but taking away features wasn’t the right move. Restoring my 5 star review.

Took too many photos to get a good one. Camera preview is very laggy on the iPhone XS sometimes when you take a photo it does not save it also darkens the photo (sometimes) It does take good low light selfies (I only tried once) It uses the telephoto lenses when you click 2x zoom You would be better off using flash for selfies and turning up the exposure for photos This is a paid app it has in app purchases to get more megapixels with A.I I can not make excuses for a paid app do not waste your money I want a refund!

Nice. Definitely worth a few bucks

Glitchy on iphone 8. Please fix this. I love the quality but it glitches everytime i take pictures at night. This app cost me so please make it worth buying

Poor results. The pictures look very similar to photos taken with the regular camera app but edited to be brightened. Really wanted this to be good :(

This app great but not for iPhone 13 pro. On iPhone 13 pro and pro max night camera itself 3 times better then camera with this app if I could attached pictures I would do it.

Works on XR. I have an XR and this app makes the phone much better with night mode, I truly can’t see a difference between the apple version and this one. It’s a bit slow sometimes but that’s to be expected and it works good!

Too much overexposure. I was excited to read all the good review for this app and decided to buy yesterday even when ios13 is coming out with the new night mode. After a couple of test, the photo taken with native app on iPhone Xs and then edited with brightness increased looks better compared to the one shot with this app. This app creates area of overexposure where there were not supposed to be. Not worth buying, unless this is fixed.

The best low light photo app to date!. I’ve used low-light photo apps such as Hydra and it doesn’t even come close to what this app can do. I thought the UI about “keeping it still bro” was hilarious. A shame it was taken away. Keep up the good work!

Update killed this. Why are we paying a subscription when we have already paid the 4.99 for the app? Also this update is horrible . Images are super grainy and blown out now ..... before they were smooth and well lit..... horrible. I was so excited when I found this app bc it was compatible to light mode on iPhone 11.... now it looks like horribly edited photos with too much exposure .... fix please.

Dissatisfied. Blurry photos of bushes & river .. Need to work on this to make it like Google's Night Sight automatically , waste of money Updated- Dear Clinton, Halcyon Products responded to your review of NeuralCam Night Camera Halcyon Products "Hey there, thanks for the feedback. We're releasing an update today, significantly increasing output resolution (therefore quality) on the 3GB models (8+ / X / XR). Give it another try under the proper low light conditions, maybe you'll change your mind :) keep in mind you do need to have a small source of light on the objective of your photo." Why light unlike Google's Night Sight ?? Plus update I'm on XS Max not older phones you listed & upcoming iPhone 11? P.S. got update didn't help We're can I upload the photos ?

HDR app replacement. I miss the old HDR apps that would take 2-3 photos and you’d hold still for a few seconds for a great HDR shot with good contrast especially mid tones. I know this is a low light app but it’s great for HDR-like daytime shots. Some shots can come out a little “crunchy”but 9 times out of 10, I get great shots.

Review. App needs a lot of work the night mode constant gives me problems when I take pictures and the whole image processing thing could be done in the back round and be a lot more stable the pictures come out nice when it’s works but you guys need to really step up in stability

Seems to work again. The app crashes when I try to use the default night mode or the 8 picture burst. I’m on an iPhone SE 2020, real sad it doesn’t work better. Update: it seems that the most recent update to the app has fixed the issue.

Surprisingly Great. My daily driver is a Pixel 3a, which has a stock Night Mode, but this app makes my measly SE produce sharper night shots. I was doubtful, and now I'm disappointed in Apple for not utilizing their own developers to make an app this good. Next up, portrait mode on non-human objects...

Awesome!. I have an iPhone XR and I was planing to upgrade to the 12 Pro Max, and this app was only $6.00 and I saw some vids about this app and I decided to buy it! And I’m loving it now, I’m taking more night pics now!!

Pretty good, but photos are overexposed. Daytime and medium-light photos appear to have too much light with default settings. They look better when I lower the exposure, but the Exposure setting goes back to Auto when I close and reopen the app. Persistent default settings would be a huge help.

Very pleased with a tech question. Thank you for creating this app. I think it’s pretty great on my 256G iPhoneX and have recommended it to several friends who are equally impressed. As I understand it, Apple merges photos from the multiple cameras on iPhone 11. Is it possible to do the same thing with the telephoto and wide angle lenses/cameras on the iPhoneX?

Was gonna leave a bad review. But did some tests and the outcome wasn't that bad. I just wish I didn't have to hold the phone for 5 whole seconds while it takes many pictures internally when it could do it faster, and call me bro in the meantime. 😒

Great App Developers. They charge for the app in the first place and then release an update for a subscription model? Then change their mind and give us everything in 2.0? Love it.

Great app, but needs some work. I like NeuralCam and I understand that there was just a new update that came out 2 days prior to me writing this. I gave it 4 stars because 40% of the time it crashes before I even try to take a photo. Developers please fix this😩 Edit: prior to update still crashing

Well Worth the Purchase. Much cheaper than a new iPhone with NiteMode. Not quite as good but man I’m impressed on the results on my XS. Also, glad they decided to ditch the subscription idea. Would gladly pay for major upgrades to app, but not a monthly payment or gimped version. Keep up the good work.

Works Great, but Missing Zoom. It works great! The effect isn’t quite as good as real night mode, but it works impressively well. The only notable shortcoming is a lack of zoom ability. You have to take pictures at a singular focus.

really good. it just works amazing when it comes to make dark night scenes into really bright pictures but it does struggle a bit in the highlights some times but over all it is stunning app and I recommend it.

Neural Cam. An amazing Night Mode Camera application of all time that I have been using the Iphone. I would like to hope more great functions on this app and thanks a lot for creating this amazing app for IOS users.

Crashes now (Resolved?). Prior to yesterday’s update the app worked great. As of yesterdays update the app crashes while processing a photo. I need to undo this update Crashing may have been resolved by restarting the phone. So far 2 hours of use and no app crash. I add 3 additional stars now iOS12.4 on iPhone 6 Plus

Developer Listens. I've ignored updates for so long due to the subscription mode added after I bought the base version. I'm glad that they listened and reverted the change back to a one time purchase model.

Back to 5 stars. Edit: the devs did the right thing, so I'm bumping the rating up. Original: I refuse to be part of this shift to a subscription. Unless you're a rainbow colored unicorn, it's not a sustainable business model.

Bug report. It seems you initiate and setup time zone only once and does not change it if phone moves from one time zone to another. As a result, photo time stamp is broken and photos all sorted in Photo app in a weird way.. How to fix: - subscribe to time zone change event and apply correct (new) time zone to app configuration

Don’t believe the reviews!!. Bought it and see no positive difference from stock X camera. In fact it’s worse! just looks like they up the brightness and then distorts the colors of the photo. the photos don’t look as accurate a rendering of the scene as the stock camera. This app is a scam. I don’t understand how so many positive reviews. I believe they paid for the magazine reviews as well. Requested refund. But it’s immediately denied for no reason. DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM APP!

Looks worse in semi dark room. Took shot in semi dark room and compared with normal slot. NeuralCam looked worse by large margin. Perhaps this is just a dark night one trick pony. If greater dark detail required then it does not take AI, just register and integrate several similar shots. Lots of PR here but it in no way competes with Google’s latest Pixel technology. Disappointed but at least app was cheap. This app is no miracle cure for creating better photos. Even Lemur app on Mac does a Better job than this thing.

What a great photo app!!!. I have bought so many photo apps over the years and most only get used for a brief time and then I move on. Well I bought NeuralCam when it first released and it gets used as much as my Camera app that comes with iOS. It really improves photos when light isn’t ideal, even during the day. Plus the app developers keep improving it more and more and have not charged upgrade fee for the newest version. You will appreciate this app the more you use it 👍🏽

Ok at best. Almost no manual settings, underperforms stock camera app.. Edited my review after further testing. Works decently, but I’d like to see more of the purported “manual” settings like ISO, shutter speed, etc. Note however that this only seems to work well in *very* low light situations with streetlights, neon signs, etc., and performed horribly just after sunset, and in poorly lit indoor spaces.

does the job. A real improvement over the stock iOS camera in low light. Very much appreciate the return to a normal interface after the “bro” fiasco last update. Not sure what they were thinking with that...

Okay now. Please it that way.. I like this app. I liked it before the subscription update. I still like it now after the dev removed it. I’ll keep liking it as long as it stays that way. You can charge for filters. Charge for addons. But I don’t want to pay a subscription to take a picture.

One of the best App I Purchased. This really gives night mode to your phone. Results are very good. Also it is good for taking day time photos as it gives more dynamic range and pop to the photos. Tested on: iPhone XS Max.

Very Satisfied. This is the only iOS app I have purchased by so far & trust me it works like charm at least on my iphone X. This is surely increasing the lifespan of my device!

Almost OEM. To say I'm impressed would be a major understatement. This is a third party app that allowed my iPhone 8, without OIS, to take night photos almost as good as my Pixel 4. Little more cumbersome, longer setup time, etc but the stock iOS camera app cannot go anywhere close or even hold a candle (pun intended) to this app.

Works great. The amount of light this captures is incredible. It creates bright and sharp images. One feature suggestion though: When in manual focus mode it would be nice to see a zoomed in section to ensure focus.

Subscription bandwagon. Another one, unfortunately... Look, people need income, we all know that. But it needs to be justified. U$36/year for a lot of features that simply do not justify recurring costs? For an app that already doesn't get that many updates anyway? It's a camera app, there is no need for these things. Launch new versions yearly, put a reasonable price on them and keep the same pace. But sorry, as it stands right now, this feels like a scam. No, thank you.

12 frames photo exp. Please if i putt 12 photos leave it like 12 not 4 or 3 i want photos like before longer to take but without noise ... now are terrible

PLEASE READ!!. This is coming from someone who does not pay for apps, but when it comes to this one, the results are the same as the 11. I had used my friends phone and the results are the same! But there is one feature making me so mad! There is no long exposure timer! when it’s real dark, the shots are not as good as the 11, but for now, this is a very good app!

Give it a try. For $5 it does a pretty decent job. One thing that I would love to have: an Apple Watch app to control the view, shutter release, zoom, etc. of this app (like the Camera Remote app on the Watch). I am trying to use a tripod, and not having to stand right with it would be great.

Love it.. iPadOS version please?. I’ve been using it on my iPhone X and the results are glorious. I don’t see myself upgrading my iPhone anytime soon, but I’ve just upgraded my iPad Pro. Would love to have this optimized for iPadOS.

Thank You!. I’m a big fan of this application. I use it with my iPhone XS and get really cool shots in dim lighting than I would with the default camera app. Now, I’m an even bigger fan after the subscriptions have been removed due to feedback. A BIG thank you to the team behind NeuralCam for listening to us.

Extreme lag. The app is good and works, but most of the times, it keeps lagging super bad. It feels as if it's working on 3 fps which makes taking good pictures with focus almost impossible. There is no way to fix this and I am sure that I am not the only one experiencing this issue and there is nothing wrong with my device's settings or specs. Please fix this and I will give it 5 stars.

Keeps getting better. From July 2020 to August 2020, 2 updates have made improvements to the consistency of dark photos, and I appreciate the quality of the photos I get. In short, the technology employed by this app absolutely makes up for the flagrant denial of a 100% software night mode on iPhone SE and other iOS devices that clearly are capable of having one.

Updated review. I’m glad the developer takes these reviews to heart and is doing away with the subscriptions. Pro features seem decent and the app overall seems faster.

Updated 5-Star Review. Great app. Thank you for choosing to bypass the subscription model. I would be willing to pay for more options/updates, but not $36 per year. Thanks, again.

New functionality doesn’t work. I’ve really liked this app and thought it was great. When I heard they came out with a long exposure tripod option I was reLy looking forward to tryouts by it. Unfortunate it does not appear as an option on an iPhone X. If this is fixed, I would go to my 5 star rating.

Like the new zoom feature but.... Just updated to the newer version. I like the new zoom feature but the images now look over exposed & more yellow then the previous version which the colors seems more vibrant in. How can I downgrade to the last version? The photos came out better.

Next update. Just bought the app took only 1 picture to convince me that this is the best night shot app for iPhone, but I have 1 request please can we have a widget for iPhone? Update: I’ve had the app for a while now and this is hands down the best night shot mode for older iPhones so until you get the newest iPhone get this app!

Seriously Dissapointed. After reading a lot of RAVE reviews I just bought this app, hoping it would do justice to the night pictures, but no it doesn’t. You have to have quite a bit of light to get anything worth looking at. Compared to even a Samsung S9, it doesn’t hold a candle to it. In fact I doubt a candles light will be enough to show up in a whole bedroom. I would like a refund quite frankly. I’m sure there’s something better. A bunch of other things only showed up after I had already bought it unfortunately. So NeuralCam, if possible please credit my account and I shall remove it or tell me how to go about this. Thank you!

Amazing. Truly the most amazing low light images I have ever seen on a smartphone. Nice detail, nice gradation (transition between shades of colors), very low noise. I don’t know how they pulled it off but the images produced by this app are literally hard to believe. I highly recommend it.

Rate it a 3 Star, Almost have potential.. In my opinion the app almost have some potential to be the best out of the best. The only issue is that the app will make the lights around a dark area way to bright that makes it look washout also the detail is lost at some part of the images. But if you guys can improve those somehow this app would be the best app to get Night Sight for anyone. Only then I would rate this a 5 star.
