Such a well done series. I had someone tell me about The Chosen.. Truthfully I tried to watch the first episode and struggled to get through it. As with any series it takes time to introduce some of the characters and set the stage for what’s to come. After the first episode I was hooked. I have now watched the first two seasons 4 times. When I feel like a need a boost and want to feel closer to Jesus I watch. All the actors and actresses are superb. Above everything else I love that the scriptural portions are true to the Word of God. I had a friend that was expecting a documentary and I had to keep reminding her that it is a narrative. That’s the best part! It’s so real.. We get such a snippet of the lives of the disciples and Jesus in scripture. I feel that the way Mr. Jenkins and the other writers portray their everyday lives is the way I would think it would be. I also so love the humanness of Jesus. I did a book study on Beloved Outlaw by John Etheridge. It all about the human side of Christ. So this series fits right in. My favorite parts are Jesus’ sense of humor and when He winks at someone. So so good! I’m now a contributor and pray that others will continue to help as they can so that season 3 and the remaining 4 will come to fruition. Thanks again to everyone that is responsible for this amazing series. I will continue to pray for this mighty work to move forward and reach the entire world!!!

Identifiable. I’ve watched many “Bible shows” over the years but, for the most part, they seemed over dramatic and out-of-my-world kinds of stories even though I grew up hearing and believing the Bible. This is the first Bible-based production I’ve seen that’s got me hungry for more! I’ve often wondered what “the rest of the story” was for many of the people in Jesus’ earthly sphere of influence. What did the leper do after he was healed? Or the paralyzed man? What was Jesus like that would cause these disciples to just drop their jobs and lifestyles to follow Him? Why did the Pharisees constantly raise such a ruckus? This show explores and gives life to these people we’ve read about so many times. Imagination is involved, of course, because we aren’t told many details of their life in the Bible, but it’s all consistent and plausible with the facts that we DO know. I really like how they include actual quotes of Scripture spoken in a lifelike, natural way by the ones who really said those words. To sum up: this show makes Jesus and his followers seem more real and relatable, and their stories make more sense to me now.

Even my 14 yr old son couldn’t stop watching!. I watched the first season marathon style while stuck at home after my son’s surgery. He would wander in the living room and end up staying a while, asking questions, laughing, and (here’s the kicker) not looking at his phone! The last 2 episodes he stayed for the entirety of the episodes. He asked questions that could only be answered by starting over - which we did! This gave us a wonderful opportunity to not just share the gospel story, but explore the humanity of Jesus, discuss the history of the time, and answer all of his questions about the “flash backs” to the Old Testament. My son doesn’t sit through ANY show - even major motion pictures unless we are at a movie theater. The fact that this series had him fully engaged to the point of asking questions and talking about it with me after is HUGE!! I am struck by how any license taken with the backstories or the characters personalities never veered from the biblical script - it just filled in the blank. I was expecting some deviation as we’ve seen so many times in Bible movies and mini series of the past. You only ENHANCED the biblical script and didn’t change it in any way. I am downloading the app to watch season 2. I am 100% behind you and this movement, and I am diligently praying God uses this to mount a spiritual revolution calling people to Christ and deepening the faith of believers everywhere. God bless you and the work of your hands!!

THE CHOSEN. I have watched it in one day and then lent it to my daughter who took forever to sit down and watch it but when she FINALLY did, she called to tell me how much they enjoyed it and the many emotions she felt. She has since lent it to her little sister who loved it and wanted to hold onto it because she wants her husband and 14 year old son to also watch it AGAIN LIKE PULLING TEETH lol. Then it will go to our 3rd daughter who tried to watch it once but with her 3 kids under ten constantly interrupting her she gave up. We had a discussion and told her she needed to TRY AGAIN when she was alone and the children were in bed. Yes, the children should also watch it but they are not ready YET... I will then give it to our son who stated he’s not sure if he believes in God, that broke my heart but I am hoping he will take it and watch it. BABY STEPS! There are many other family members that it will be passed onto before I get it back TO RE-WATCH IT. I am so looking forward to the second one but I continue to work on my patience because all good things come with patience. I SO ENJOYED THE CHOSEN and felt so many different emotions. God bless all that are involved in this project because it is powerful.

Rejoice. “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice!” This has been what this show, every episode, has done for me. My husband, a brilliant man, who has faithfully cared for me and our family for forty eight years, had a stroke two years ago. I have now become the major care giver. There have been many times I have been on the edge of despair and I have gone into my room and watched an episode of the Chosen. Tears of despair have turned into tears of joy as my Lord has met with me there and He has spoken to my heart through the dialogues in this show. They cannot produce it fast enough, while maintaining it’s quality and freedom, so I watch every episode again and again, each time finding new tears of joy. I have given what I can, I wish it could be more. What I do is tell everyone I can to watch it. If God grants me the free time I hope to start having tea parties for friends in my neighborhood and introducing them to the show in my home. I thank all who have given of the lives and livelihoods to make this show available to me and the rest of the world!❤️🙏❤️

“I have called you by name, you are mine”. Can’t believe I just found out about this show today. I’ve already watched episodes 1-7 and about to watch episode 8. Hey go hard or go home. & we aren’t supposed to leave home right now 😂.. but I can’t express how much this show moved me in just one day. The healing of Mary Magdalene was so moving. I was raised in church. I know all the stories. But to see some of them acted out through the eyes of someone like Mary ... really puts it in perspective. Possessed to the point she was declared unable to be saved by man. & they are calling her Lilith. When Jesus said “Mary” for the first time I was shook. Then he healed her. 😭😭 I’ve been praying for a long time that God would help me learn to understand the love of him and Jesus because I am very physical. I can’t see him. I know he’s there. But how can I love something I can’t see? Watching these stories depicted on screen by the INCREDIBLE acting crew, shows how loving and giving Jesus really is. & that all God wants us to do is follow him. I can’t wait to see more!!!!! I wish there were ten seasons to binge 😭 I cry every episode. What a perfect time for this show to start really surfacing too.. these are trying times. The world needs the healer.

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS. This is the first time I have ever written a review in my life on an app , but I just had to write one. This series has brought so much light to my eyes. Not only does The Chosen have sooo many great bible stories in their show , but they really let you get to know each and every character as the story goes on. I loved watching Season 2 Episode 2 where we could know Matthew the tax collectors perspective. The thing about The Chosen is they give you TIME to fall in love with each character. Everyone is so real, so authentic. It is as if YOU yourself are in the story, well because in a way, you are. It’s such a beautiful and honorable thing to watch. I know our Father in Heaven has got to be proud of you all for creating such a masterpiece that is bringing more and more people closer to Christ everyday. Very great job done. Blessed are you all! Blessed is the person reading this as well, even if it reaches one soul, I pray that you are healthy and whole and whatever that you may be going through , you find peace and know that your Heavenly Father will protect and love you forevermore. Cheers! ALSO THE CHOSEN IS NUMBER 11 IN THE ENTERTAINMENT RIGHT NOW!!!! YESSSS.

Best ever.... We think it’s been the best version so far of a Jesus story we’ve ever seen. Most movie versions have to try to cram the life of Jesus into less than two hours. To do that, they must either essentially read one of the four gospels verbatim and try to act it out, read selections of the four gospels combined into one story, or extract only one portion of the gospel story to focus on. While these other efforts are valuable, the gospel story covers three-and-a-half years of Jesus’ life, not to mention the useful references to the old testament stories that bring proper context to his ministry. That takes time. It takes creative backstory and side/parallel narratives. We’re really enjoying the length of time and attention to storyline that the creators of this series have taken. Things flow easily and naturally. Storylines fit together both logically and emotionally. Each episode gives enough attention to the characters to develop them. It is truly immersive, and we recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Jesus, and to anyone who wants a tool to introduce others to Jesus. We hope and pray that this effective method and attention to detail are maintained until the end of the whole series! We love what they’ve done, and what they’re doing.

The Chosen Season 3,episode 2.. I watched the episodes on the first available night. Dallas, if you ever read this review, I want you to know how you have changed my world. I had Polio as a child and it has affected my back and my right leg. Pain and weakness have been with me for over 20 years. I am a believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus. He is also my friend and daily inspiration. I have been praying for healing for so long. I knew He had a reason for not healing me, and I never stopped loving Him. I watch a lot of Christian TV, and one (actually more than one) minister was absolved sure that if you are not healed, and I quote “it’s your own fault”. For the last year I have been seeking God’s face, and begging for forgiveness if there was anything in my life that was hindering my healing. When Jesus was talking to little John in episode two it’s as if He was explaining to me why I was to go on with this good fight —so that He would have all the glory. I have never heard such a wonderful reason why some people don’t get healed. It was a God moment for me and I am sure many others. Thank you.

Please continue FREE. I really love this app because it is a tv show on Jesus. But also is free and you can donate that way it will continue to be free BUT you DO NOT have to have a monthly or yearly subscription, and when I watch the show, my heart is so happy and yes I do want to donate not because am force to, I am free to donate how ever amount I want, there for I look at my budget and I can give what I can to support this show. Director, you have done amazing, and thank you for letting us know “watch the show like any other show” because I was prepared to say “wow, this is not in the Bible 😂” and yea all the verse and what Jesus preach is in the Bible, but you have done awesome T giving every character light, we don’t know exact what they did or say in their every day life and you… you come and give them what possible could had and say. Simon OMG Talking to love his character he makes me laugh “Simon” “yes master😊” (talking to “suns of thunder” 😅😅😅 wow this show is amazing. Thank you again. Director Dallas God has bless you. But please please just I pray that you continue in a good path and not let the Money get you greedy, sometimes we fall when something is going great. You have done awesome, as long as your heart stays how it is, we the people who support you will continue.

A thoughtful and artistic portrayal of Christ’s disciples. I have been incredibly moved by The Chosen and the way Dallas Jenkins has artistically told the stories of Christ’s disciples. This series thoughtfully approaches the life and message of Jesus by drawing the viewer into the lives of His disciples. As a believer, I often think about what it would be like to live during the time of Jesus, under the tyranny of Roman rule and the politics of the Sanhedrin. As I read the pages of the New Testament, I wonder what it would have been like to see Jesus face to face, hear His words, and witness His life. Dallas Jenkins portrays the disciples in such a beautifully human way that one can’t help but relate to them and their struggles. The human side of Christ is also portrayed in such a compelling way — he gets tired after a long day of ministry, he has a sense of humor, he loves His mother, etc. — that I felt drawn to know Jesus better. There are many wonderful films/videos available that tell the story of Jesus’ life and message. The Chosen offers a unique and refreshing perspective that connects the viewer to its characters and motivates one to want to know more about the Bible.

Best thing ever. To say that The Chosen has made my life better is an understatement. The depictions of Christ and His apostles make me want to be a better person and bring to life an easy example to follow. I read the Bible now, and the crazy thing? I enjoy it! As a former Catholic grade school student I was sorely lacking in true bible knowledge and familiarity. So I’m grateful for the boost up. I’m quite excited every time I recognize actual scripture in the show (which by the way, is very often). It brings to me a sense of pride which I interpret to be as a motion toward a more genuine closeness to God and to Jesus. The app itself makes access to the show and all of its residual effects just a click away on a device I’m already using (far too often for my own good with this being a near single exception). So by all means download the app. Use it. Use it frequently. Binge the seasons then binge them again. By the time you watch them a third time you’ll begin to fully absorb all that they contain. And like me, you just may become a better version of yourself for the effort. And to Dallas and the entire Chosen team, thank you so much. I am eternally grateful to have all of you as a part of my daily life. I’m looking forward to to season three. So, hurry!!

Dear Dallas and Friends. . I lost my husband of 44 years to lung cancer last October. But He is so free and healed and with Jesus. The long months alone would have been horrific apart from my kids and grandkids and THE CHOSEN. I can’t even tell you how many times I have watched over and over and over again each episode. They have brought me peace in my sorrow fed my spirit and soul entrenched in my being the truth of the Word the simplest lost sheep and how to pray. I have fought praying sitting down and praying never could find the right place until one day I heard for the umteemth time Jesus say go in your room and close the door and talk your father in secret. My prayer life has changed my whole life has changed. My little neighborhood Bible Study is watching the first season at my house. We are going to see Episode 7 my favorite of the first season next week. Oh you guys thank you for hearing the Holy Spirit and doing this incredible work. I love each of you with my whole heart and I pray your whole life completely changed doing this mighty work for Jesus about His Kingdom. #8 is my favorite of season 2 yes snd Matthew is my favorite and so is Precious Nicodemus. I love you all forever. Love in Jesus Debbie really You all are my favorite especially you Dallas and your sweet family. When you do your work the Holy Spirit transforms you. Jesus is so Holy!

A New and Refreshing, Relatable, and Rewatchable Form of Christian Media. The Chosen takes a fresh look at the stories of Jesus Christ found in the Gospels of the Bible, mostly through the eyes of His followers: real human beings with real human, relatable problems, whose lives changed forever through their encounter with the man called Jesus of Nazareth. What separates this show from previous adaptations of Bible stories is an intentional focus on the humanity of Jesus that allows Him to relate with imperfect people, while still maintaining the “character” of Jesus as the Son of God. The app allows users to watch this unique show directly without needing a subscription to some streaming service, and has the capabilities of casting the episodes from the app to a TV. Given the nature of the uniqueness and newness of this app, some bugs have occasionally occurred. However, the developers have a direct help section of the app and have responded (and fixed) issues previously experienced. The overall experience with this app is fantastic and highly inspirational that breaks down barriers and allows people from various backgrounds and faiths (or even lack thereof) to have an enjoyable, potentially life changing experience.

Even bad App reviews LOVE this show!. I’ve loved this show from the very beginning and every “extra.” The interpretation of Jesus is how I’ve always felt him in my heart and mind’s eye. Many of the poor App ratings are because they can’t get the new shows fast enough or with captions for the deaf. Since they release each show as soon as it is produced (and Season 2 was just completed) while more languages are being translated all the time, with captioning being planned but not available yet, I see this as a huge recommendation for the show and more like it! As far as “Pay it Forward” goes, Dallas makes it clear the decision to make the show FREE was to make it available to as many people as possible without regard to income. Since it costs a lot of money to produce a quality show (more now thanks to Covid), those who want to and can afford to donate are the ones who manage this show financially available to everyone. (Thank you!) Since I am disabled and financially unable to contribute financially, I rely on them as well. Even so, sharing the show with others IS something I can do! *I have found it takes an average of three “prompts” after TELLING someone about the show before they have actually WATCHED the show, so a sincere, “What do you think about The Chosen?!” or, “Which character on The Chosen do you identify with most?” can be a great reminder in their busy lives. Once they watch it, YOU won’t be telling THEM about it because it will be the other way around.

A review from a senior citizen in Louisiana. I have been with the Chosen since the beginning. I am grateful that Dallas and his team are asking the Holy Spirit to guide them in this production. I saw a show 20 years ago one Knight as I was looking for something late into the night . The show Jesus smiling and playing with children I began to pray for a series on the Bible portraying Jesus this way be cause I felt he was a good compassionate man. Finally I found such a portrayal when I saw the first episode of the Chosen. I have only contributed a little . I am a widow with a low income but I give when I can because I want this show shown all over the world. Dallas an all working on this have called on professionals for guidance on accuracy of culture and how things would have been done in Jesus’s day. I just thank Dallas the filming crew and the advisors and the actors for all your hard work. God will bless you and has blessed the audiences already. Everyone I talk with just loves it and we r all patiently waiting for the next series. I just go back and watch the first 2 seasons!!!!!! Lots of love!!!!

Amazing!!. I love this show so much. It’s changed my life. My relationship with God has become so strong. Now, I continually want to please him. He is my Light and my Salvation. Thank you to Dallas Jenkins for listening to the call and following the leading of the Holy Spirit in this project. It has brought so many of us closer to our God, and renewed our focus on the Almighty. Reading my Bible is more enjoyable now, and I can understand things in a way I didn’t before. This show is great at bringing out the humanity and struggles of the disciples, as well as that of Yeshua/Jesus… being that He was God, but in a very human body. Everyone is so relatable and I see my own life in some of the stories, like Mary of Magdala, Nathanial, and even Nicodemus in some ways. There isn’t an episode that doesn’t choke me up, and it’s the same no matter how many times I watch. I’ve watched this series about 6 or 7 times now, and I will continue to watch when I need to put my focus back on God and less on the problems of life. What I love most about this show is that it’s the most Messianic version of Jesus that there has ever been. Jesus was a Jew and so many forget that, especially those that have made Jesus films in the past. This is the most middle eastern depiction of Jesus and His disciples that had ever been made. I appreciate how much time and effort that Dallas and His crew put in to get this all right. Thank you all again for your work. It’s been amazing!!!

Amazing, Fresh take on the life of Jesus and The disciples. Unlike any Hollywood rendition or Christian one for that matter, of the Life of Christ and His followers. Jesus is shown to have humor, and human like characteristics as well as Devine characteristics, which is more realistic to the True Jesus, than a lot of movies portray Him as. Because He is Fully Human, Fully God. I love that they show Both sides of Him. I also love the way the disciples are portrayed and how a lot of the Biblical accounts are show, unlike other movies or shows. That skip a lot, and have no character development or backstories. The backstories in “The Chosen” really enhance the show. As it makes them more relatable and more dynamic to the viewer. I also particularly love how the show is exciting and really puts things into perspective. And How the creator urges his viewers to not replace the show with actual scripture and how the show makes people want to read scripture and bring them to God. So it’s amazing. I would recommend this is anyone who wants to have solid and serious/ entertaining series about Jesus. (Not cheesy all, so that’s a plus) God Bless you

Beautifully written and acted. The Chosen has captured the heart of Christianity—which is the heart of God with the heart for God. Brilliantly written, encompassing believable backstories to historical characters, the viewer travels along on the individuals journey of faith. Again this journey of discovery of who Christ is and what his word says and means puts skin on the bones of Christianity . One would be remiss not to make mention of the acting Jesus is brilliantly done demonstrating the best of humanity but even lesser characters ticks or backstories are so compelling, you can’t help but have favorites. Even the villains are both believable and recognizable and the fact that Jesus chose less than perfect men accurately portrays the scriptures. We are also great full fir the production side of the coin as recreating the period to scale would be costly especially during a pandemic but that too is above average and at times brilliantly done. Lastly the music has been outstanding and insights into the making of the series both entertaining and informative. Well done good and faithful servants. You are certainly leaving everything on the canvas. We thank God for the love letter He is writing through you and pray revival will be it’s result. Blessings will come on all who view the Chosen.

Absolutely love the show and app. After watching every episode I can I was so disappointed it became a nightly ritual for me to watch. I feel it has in many ways helped me on my journey with the lord, and my relationship as well, I use to think it was no use furthering my relationship cause I felt unworthy and undeserving of his love because of everything he has done for all us especially for me, but this show has given me scripture and knowledge of where to find my lord especially when I need him most. So I thank each and everyone of you who pay it forward cause I have watched this show and I have helped with what I can and hopefully continue to contribute as much as I can I look at it as offering for the lord so we all may bring our lost brother or sister out there closer to God, I will pray everyday for the one left out of the 99 may we find you and bring you home whoever you are, and remember god loves you unconditionally without a shadow of a doubt no matter what it’s never to late to come to the lord no matter what you have done you will be forgiven, and if you do start your journey with the lord remember you work your own salvation out with the lord he will guide you where you need to be and it doesn’t happen overnight so don’t get discouraged and always stay persistent even when you forget stay persistent start your new day and repent daily even if you feel unworthy he will help you. Thanks Dallas for all you do I appreciate your good works in the lord

Words don’t exist.... ...that are adequate to describe the wonder of this show. It’s the story of Jesus as no one has ever told it before. It’s the anti-Hollywood Jesus. The language is contemporary, and so are the issues the characters deal with—financial woes, divorce, social pressures. Bullying. Religion. Jesus doesn’t look like a Wasp. Matthew has Asperger syndrome. Simon Peter gambles and brawls and gets himself into all kinds of trouble. These are real people with real relationships and real world situations. Some of them you love, some not so much, but you understand why they do what they do. I haven’t even mentioned the gorgeous scenery, the foot-stomping music, the terrific cast, but I could easily spend an hour praising each cast member from Jesus himself to the big black dog. Or the innovative direction where an entire story of some 30+ years is told in ten minutes with no discernible dialogue, or a 15-minute sunset scene is all one take. And you can watch all episodes for free just by downloading a fun and ready-to-operate app in a couple dozen different languages! Don’t delay, download The Chosen and binge on this beautiful show. Get to know a Jesus who makes you want to read more about him in the Bible.

Second season responses. At first I didn’t feel anything could compare to first season. I was so wrecked in an awesome way by several of the stories. Mary meeting Jesus, Nicodemus especially the night he met snd talked to Him. The second season took an adjustment at first. I’ve watched each season fully 8-9 times. Never get sick of it. Always finding something new and fresh to glean. I had trouble with Mary going back into her old life. Seeing her drinking and gambling etc. I couldn’t watch that Episode again for weeks. I felt she was so delivered she would never go back and scripture doesn’t say she did. But like Jesus said to her , if you can lose what you got that fast how good was it. Did you think you’d never sin again? lol I don’t fully under the animosity between all of disciples and Matthew. Andrew is my least lovable character. He’s a nervous wreck. I hope he chills out next season. My favorite episodes are when Jesus said to James and John, Fire, you want to call down fire from heaven snd burn them up??? Great episode! Also I love the last episode with Matthew when he speaks the Beatitudes. So profound and meaningful and deep. First class produced but very authentic and genuine acting . Amazing sets too. Love your work. I want more and more. Best presentation of the Bible I’ve seen . I love Quintus as well and his interview with Jesus. Love all of you. Cindy Hoesly

The best. No words can describe how much this has changed my soul. In every episode, there are lines that I have to stop and replay over and over because they pierce through the massively tall, thick, dark barrier of pain, anguish, despair and deep scars that surrounds my heart, allowing the gentle and tender Light of our Lord’s Love to enter softly and heal like cool water in a parched mouth. He cries with us when we hurt, folds His arms around us, cradles us against His chest as we weep, kisses the top of our head, filling us with such a profound love, it feels as through we’re light as air. While still holding us, He calls His comforting, holy Angels whose wings, when fluttering, sound like the sweetest lullaby you’ve ever heard. Then Jesus whispers, “I love you and I will never, ever leave you. Give me your heart 🫀and I will keep it in Mine - you never have to worry about a single thing because I’m never letting you go.”. “Thank you” is so inadequate but thank you for my life. I was a different person prior to watching this series. Sending ALL of you my heart which has been filled with peace, light, forgiveness, redemption but mostly LOVE…💞✝️🙏🏽❤️

Finally…clarity!. I was raised Catholic. Catholicism in the 60’s was rules, rules, rules. Obey the priests and nuns, go to confession Saturday, accept communion at Sunday mass, and watch out for the nun’s wrath Monday thru Friday at school. But who was Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit, and what was this book called the Bible? I was taught my only path to Jesus’ forgiveness was thru a priest and that, along with obeying all the rules, was all I needed to worry about. As an adult I have always struggled to figure out my faith and beliefs, and because these can’t be answered with facts and figures, for years and years it has remained a question only sort of lingering in the back of my mind. Until my friend gave me The Chosen season 1 Blu-ray set. To say the least, I was moved. Jesus is humanized in this program, brought to plausible life as a relatable human being on earth. Same for the apostles, whom my Catholic teachers pretty much ignored. Along with studying the book Mere Christianity, taking into account The Case for Christ, and spending time in the Bible, The Chosen has been instrumental in removing many questions, and has given me a path that’s led to believable faith in our Triune God. This program will be an indispensable influence on and valuable resource in your faith journey.

Love, enjoy, inspired & deeply moved by: ‘The Chosen’!. Love, enjoy, inspired & deeply moved by: ‘The Chosen’! I love God with my whole heart. Jesus is truly the love my life. I have lived a life of both some pretty rough movie of the week stuff (actually a few of them... seriously) and The Lord Jesus often loving me back to life and throughout this crazy life on earth. This show has been a huge blessing to me in both the challenging days and the sweet blessings days. I have bought a few things from the Gift Factory and plan to do most of my Christmas shopping there! (I’ve been impressed with the excellent quality of everything I have purchased.) Thank you so much for creating the show; awesome character development and so very well written! And, from the producers/directors/assistants to everyone who handles every element of it, from props and makeup, sets, historical and Biblical research, etcetera etcetera, to the actors that are so well chosen (no pun intended) and bring not only their talents but their hearts (and spirits open to GOD’s Spirit), I applaud and appreciate each and every one of you. From my heart and spirit to each of yours; I pray for you all and all needs daily. God Bless & Keep you. <>< Your sis-in-Christ, Brenda Curtiss

Truly touching!. This is by far the absolute closest image of Jesus and the disciples I have ever seen. There are honestly no where near enough words to describe how refreshing and comforting it is to watch this series. There are so so many shows, movies, plays, etc about Jesus and the disciples and they mostly show Jesus as this man who comes to earth as this very holy man, and yes I know that Jesus is most holy, I am not in any way, shape, nor form putting any of them down. The Passion is one of my absolute favorites. But this series shows Jesus and the disciples in a WHOLE new light. In a way I never thought I would see or imagine any of them. Their personalities and watching Jesus joking around. I can’t wait to see when I get to Heaven Jesus and the one playing Jesus in this series meet! That is going to be a sight to behold! I can hear Jesus now saying heck yeah man you got me! Truly amazing! I really hope and pray that they do other books in the Bible. I would love to see one done on David, Paul, Moses, all of them in the Bible. These amazing actors and actresses bring the people in the Bible back to life! Love it!

The Chosen - Christ’s Humanity on Full Display. Anyone who has accepted the gift of Jesus Christ as his or her savior would do well to watch The Chosen. And anyone who doubts if this is something they should do, should watch it as well. Through The Chosen, we are given the opportunity to see what Jesus was probably like as a human being, a person who was always there for all who approached him in faith. Through this wonderful adventure, we see Jesus as a man, and we get a glimpse into how he allowed others to witness his divinity in action and yet, we also see how even though those who were with him ‘up close and personal’ still had a hard time understanding exactly who is really was prior to his resurrection. We see Peter as the impetuous and combative stalwart, a man who reminds us that he was not anywhere close to perfection, yet, as we will see, he becomes the one person whom Jesus calls the “rock” who entrusts with the keys to the Kingdom and who he gives the mandate to “build my church.” The Chosen reaffirms that any of us, imperfect and a sinner, can become a new creation upon accepting Him as our personal Lord and Savior.

Honestly it’s the best. I love The Chosen. Born outside the fundamental teachings of the church, I started reading the Bible 10 years ago. The writers of The Chosen actively choose to depict Jesus in the scope of what the scriptures say, keeping a 1st century Orthodox Judaism point of view while bringing Jesus’ teachings and parables to live. The cast is amazing, the behind the scenes content is so fun to listen in and they love community engagement. Watching the show I feel as an active part of the process and I get to share points of impact from the show into my everyday life connecting with others. I love how the character/disciples and their development makes them a real person. Hundreds of hours of research is being put on the screen for us to take in, cross examine, and get an example what it would of been like to The more you study the Bible and take a deep dive the more this show helps depict the Jew, Gentile, and Discipleship with Jesus. I cannot wait for future seasons and look forward to supporting them as much as I can, Thanks Dallas and the team, keep putting The Lord first and make sure that Jesus is depicted in a way that he wants to watch the show too 😃

The Chosen series is an amazing accomplishment well worth watching!. Entertainment is NOT a word that I have heard before when speaking of biblical teaching, but this show is very entertaining in that it presents the challenges faced by Jesus and his disciples in real life situations during the period they lived in. Educational is often heard when speaking about biblical teaching but it is most often dull and has to use voiceovers and language that is often misunderstood (since it was used by a culture from two thousand years ago). The Chosen uses contemporary language and By doing so it is easy to understand what Jesus meant by portraying the words in realistic social situations. Moreover, the disciples and the entourage of followers have become real to me as I learn about the personalities and struggles they each faced. I have watched the series more than once and by doing so I have begun to understand the true meaning of loving my neighbor as myself. Finally, each miracle that Jesus does in the series brings forth a hope that each of us can do good in some small way and God will turn it into something amazing. Watch, be entertained, learn, get to know who the disciples really were, and let God’s wisdom and hope take over your own life. Be blessed!

Best Bible app ever. So I was out playing outside with my brother and my dad comes out and says guys I want you to come see this is a Bible show and I heard about it and it’s really cool ! So me and my brother went inside and we started to watch episode one by one and on the third episode right when it was Jesus loves the little children I realize that it was an app I thought you had to buy it on TV but I realized it was an app so my dad got it for me and I really enjoyed it it’s like one of my favorite shows now even though I’ve seen all the episodes it’s just so amazing I watch it every time and I’m pleased every time I watch it and every time I watch it I ask my question to myself am I learning some thing and then I know I am because I now know that Jesus talk to Nicodemus and the woman at the well that was a really good one and it was super awesome too ! but my favorite episode of all was probably Jesus loves the little children I love Abby and all her friends and Jesus teaching them all about how much he loves them because that brought me closer to the Lord and I know I’m even more Closer with the Lord than I was before now so please get this app it’s really amazing and it moved my heart closer to God than it’s ever been in my entire life !!!!

My Favorite Show Ever…The Chosen. My husband and I have been pastors for 25 years. We first decided to watch The Chosen to be able to give an informed opinion about it in case people asked. By the end of the first episode I was sobbing. I then proceeded to binge watch both seasons. I don’t think there has been an episode where I haven’t been moved to tears at one point or another. Our teenagers drug their feet about watching it with us, but once they started they were sold. I love how it brings these people that I have read about for so many years to life. They were real people just like us,and it is wonderful to see them have issues similar to mine in their walk with Christ. All of the acting is top notch…so believable. The casting is spot on. I can sense the Spirit of the Lord all over this project. Jonathan Roumie is doing an amazing job portraying Jesus with so much compassion and gentleness and yet also lots of strength. I pray for protection all the time for the cast and crew. I really believe the hand of God is on this show. Thank you for helping me..a woman who has walked with Jesus for 50 years now (since the age of 4), to go deeper in my relationship with Him and to gain fresh perspective on these stories that are so precious to me. God bless all of you!

I deeply love this show. I will be honest, I'm not looking forward in anyway to the ending of the 7th season like they have set out. I want it to keep going until Christ's return to be completely transparent. We have become such a culture of seeing is believing. I get that in this show though and I'm truly grateful for it. It's challenging to see Jesus without seeing him. This show is the best of both worlds. We get to see him in a way that's real and beautiful and still desire more of Him which is the whole point. The reason I don't want the show to end is because I will miss seeing Jesus. I will miss being in the room with Him during an episode. Seeing him talk to them like He talks to me. I think that's the most perfect part of this show and it's why people Binge Jesus! They miss Him! They want more of Him every minute! How incredible! That's the whole meaning to life! Wanting more of Jesus and being desperate for more time with Him! Today I'm reminded by Him through quiet time in His presence that everything I need, want and desire is in Him! I will worship Him like I once did at my son's funeral when it was the hardest because He is so incredibly good to me! No matter the outcome, I get Jesus!!

Just what we need. This show is absolutely amazing!! The writers, director, cast, crew & spiritual advisers are a gift to all of us. My sister has dyslexia & had a difficult time reading the Bible…I sent her the information on the The Chosen app…because of the wonderful way the show is written, she binge watched & is now understanding the Bible, Jesus & His disciples in a way she didn’t think was possible. I am so grateful, my sister’s husband passed away in 2020 & she is a recovering alcoholic…needless to say she has been walking through a storm for a while….can’t thank all of you enough🙏🏻. I believe the Lord’s hand is definitely involved in The Chosen. He always gives us just what we need & in His timing, which is impeccable. I believe He hand picked all the people involved in this TV series. I love, respect & appreciate The Lord’s diversity🙏🏻. It seems, from interviews I have seen with Dallas Jenkins & cast members, that everyone involved with this TV series is grateful to be a part of it & they work together so well, regardless of where they stand on their spiritual beliefs or lack there of…..I love it! Too bad all people in the world couldn’t do that…how sweet would that be!! I will continue to pray, as are millions of people everywhere, for everyone involved in the series, personally & professionally….may the series go through seven seasons & beyond, according to the Lord’s will🙏🏻. God bless you all 🙏🏻 Many thanks & gratitude 🙏🏻

Jesus was Real. I’m not sure I can add much to what’s already been said in the review section here, but I just wanted to say that I also have really enjoyed this show. I know they don’t always get everything about Jesus right- they can’t, but they do a good job trying to portray him the way the gospels do and they sure get you to think about him and what he really was like on earth and what he is like now. Even when I don’t agree with how they portrayed Jesus or added to a story, it just gets me thinking more. It has helped deepen my understanding that Jesus was a man who really walked and ate and probably joked around a bit and had real conversations and trials of just day to day life. It has made me hungry to read the Bible- and not just to fact check the stories, though I have done that from time to time, but hungry to know this God who made himself so lowly. The God who made himself accessible and knowable. This show has truly helped me know him better- deepened my faith in what God can do and is willing to do. It’s deepened my prayer life because of that. It’s enhanced my Bible reading and encouraged my heart. I pray for the cast and crew whenever I think about it. I think you guys are doing a great job-stay faithful. Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you Jesus. God is using this right now to help free me from 12 years of addiction and anxiety and depression. I used to see the face of my abuser when I tried to pray or read the Bible it made keeping my faith feel impossible, so I gave up I thought God hated me and I went on my prodigal journey. Somehow this portrayal of Jesus resonates so deeply with my heart that the more I watch the show the more the face of this portrayal of Jesus is slowly erasing the face of my abuser I don’t know how to describe this and it must sound absolutely crazy to people. But I’ve been able to start praying again because of it I’m able and hungry to read my Bible each day now because of it. To everyone who has played and is playing a part in creating this show I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for saying Yes to the Holy Spirit everyday that you’ve written and prepped and worked on this show. Season 2 episode 4 is a lightning rod from the Holy Spirit DIRECTLY to my heart and soul. I watch it any day I feel tempted to go back to the addiction and I’m about to join a a group that I know has had great success with sobriety. This is a review as well as a testimony. To the doubters I say, if you’re here reading this, I believe there’s a purpose, pray and ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. To the fellow believers please pray for me. I just got the 40 day devotional and I NEED spiritual food to stay in Gods grace. Thank you for your prayers.

Worth watching!!. This show is so great and has been so helpful in getting me back into reading and being able to understand and connect with the characters and storyline, especially since I used to really struggle with loving Jesus and really appreciating what he did and the purpose of his life. I like that they portray him as a guy with emotions and a personality and even a bit of an awkward side at times. That’s another great thing about the show, is it adds in the uncomfortableness and awkwardness of first following Jesus and that Jesus loves you through that. Just so many great details added in to these stories that give them a deeper meaning. I love how they made Matthew and Simon’s characters too… just such a real show instead of making everyone all perfect and bold and strong. Really appreciate the long episodes, well over an hour is how it should be! Even the app is well done… a little glitchy with air play sometimes or new episodes starting like halfway through but such a small thing to fix versus such an amazing tool this show can be to bring people closer to God through Jesus.

Blessed beyond measure!!. Oh I am so blessed by this series! Blessed to tears, many times! I grew up watching more Bible movies and stories than I can count, and this is now my favorite of them all. Even watching the whole first season twice, I look forward to watching it again before long and am on the edge of my seat in anticipation for season 2! What matters to me most when watching Bible accounts, is: does the depiction of Jesus show authenticity, love in his eyes, tenderness and compassion? In this series not only do I see that every scene he's in, but he portrays a calm confidence that is neither cocky nor insecure, and that is a very necessary attribute. Also it reveals his humor and genuine understanding as he meets each and every person right where they're at and connects with them! I also appreciate the time and care that directors and writers took to capture the real humanity of each of the disciples, in their varied and relatable struggles. Thank you Chosen team, from the bottom of my heart for passionately putting this together! I will continue to pray that this production will radically touch the hearts of believers and not-yet-believers alike! That they may come to realize more than before the truth of the love of Jesus more deeply and fully!

Just…wow. I’m 52 and have been in church my whole life. Each time I read through the gospels I green new insights that I’d never considered before, but this adaption of the ministry of Jesus has really been and eye opener. I’ve often said that I would’ve jumped at the chance to be taught by Jesus, himself, back in the day, but honestly it never occurred to me what that would’ve meant. Not just that part about leaving the old life behind, but basically being thrown onto the set of a season of Survivor, with a bunch of different personalities to travel the holy land with and struggle with hunger, thirst, poverty, fatigue and wondering why I was chosen. On some level I can identify with every one of these people. The Chosen has taken each character and made them into the people that they most likely were when they were called, and they are so relatable. All struggling with character flaws, fears and weaknesses that we have all felt at one time or another in our personal lives, and you definitely realize, rather quickly that none of us were called because we are holy, but because he wants to make us holy.

Yes yes yes!!!. I’ve seen this multiple times over and I’ve been an advocate for it for months and months. It feels like pulling teeth to get people to watch it... but once they do! Support this project. Help others see Jesus through the eyes of those that followed Him. It’s not dry material, it’s incredibly deep and the character development is miraculous but not unbelievable. Director and creator Dallas Jenkins and team have done an incredible job at showing how God truly makes us new as He comes to us and as we get to know who He is. I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve been convicted, I’ve fallen in love, I’ve suffered, I’ve questioned, and through each episode, Jesus shines as an equalizer that turns everything for the good of those who love Him and are called (“Chosen”) for his purpose. As an app, this is definitely unique. Since when do you find yourself not having to pay a subscription, wait through advertisements, create an account that requires your firstborn, or jump through a variety of multiple hoops? It gets cumbersome for people that haven’t seen it to convince them to download it. People act like it’s such a hassle. But it’s one not a single person I have convinced has regretted. And in all reality, it’s not any harder than downloading redundant apps like “Google.” Not to dog Alphabet/Google or anything...

Unfathomably Beautiful. This has got to be my favorite show by far, I was so sick and tired of the same old same old shows just being revamped or recreated, or shows with no true effort put into them. So I stopped watching tv and any shows all together, it’s rare for me to enjoy something on tv or any streaming network nowadays because there’s nothing that peaks my interest, but now I watch atleast 2 episodes every night before bed while making sure I don’t watch too much because I don’t want this new beautiful and exciting thing that strikes a smile on my face all day long(the following day of course). I feel this show has brought me so much closer to my inner peace and happiness while also pushing me to share the show and react to any and every situation in a much kinder manner. Btw I chose to watch them at night because I feel it brings me closer to my opportunity to speak to god, a better opportunity to change anything about myself. Needless to say It’s even more rare for me to be this impacted by a show, thanks to everyone who made this happen for making this happen <3

Powerful and insightful. I had heard about this show for a while and I mistakenly wrote it off as just another gospel show. So many had been made before, and I thought, boring right? I was so wrong. It’s an extra-biblical show meaning that they take artistic liberties beyond what is spelled out in the gospels. I was always skeptical of this style in theory because I always considered adding to the biblical accounts would open the door for heresy. But I never knew a show like this could be so well executed. I am at the 3rd episode of second season, and there is not one episode that I have not cried. The director lays out so many details that anyone in today’s culture would entirely miss if they only read the gospels. The Chosen has truly illuminated the scriptures and has given the accounts and the characters so much more depth than I could have anticipated. All I can say is well done, and that I am very excited to walk with Jesus and his disciples through the rest of this entire series. Thank you to all who have played a part in making this show come to be.

Samsung TV Owners Give Up. Amazing show, but I am here to review the app - if you have a Samsung TV don't even try Season 3 - at some point the Angel Studios app won't be the only way to watch, and you will be able to save yourself a lot of hassle by waiting until then. The hassle is so great, it has convinced me to never buy another Samsung product again. Unfortunately, I tried and tried and tried every conceivable way to work around this. Air Play, Screen Mirroring, Samsung TV Cast. Bouncing between these options, when the aggravation of one made me forget about the aggravation of the other - reintroduced me to levels of lag I haven't experienced in years. The best method for watching ( Air Play ) was to close the app, every 10 minutes, in order to enjoy 10 more minutes, then close the app ( this was some way to watch the Jesus walking on water scene... the whole playback froze right when he commanded the waters to be still - surreal ) . FYI - Samsung TV Cast requires you to press the FFWD button on your remote for every single second you are trying to advance. Imagine trying to make your way back to the 45 minute mark using that. I only did that once. If you made it this far into my review, just one last reminder, this app cannot be used to watch Season 3 on a Samsung TV

Friday Morning Group. There are just a few of us but that’s the way Jesus started gathering His disciples. We start off with The Chosen…discuss our reactions. Then we conclude with Ray Vander Laan’s series,That The World May Know. “Life And Ministry of The Messiah”. Ray Vander Laan is an historian and Christian teacher who takes groups of people to the Holy Land, Egypt, etc. I had hoped the lessons would be coordinated by so that the location of the tour and happenings would match where The Chosen is at in the Bible. Well God had this all planned before me…and it is the way I hoped for. We have one person who has visited The Holy Land and can give us her experiences there. She has some good insights and stories that help us to be there with her. This past Friday one of the ladies shared her grieving and depression at the death of her husband three years ago. I had just met a lady, Michelle, whose son, Ben, died from a brain tumor a year ago. I prayed with here and was able to relate that to The Chosen and Living Water episode with Ray Vander Laan (his series is endorsed by Focus On The Family. All of this is bringing me such joy. I need your prayers to keep in mind that I am merely His messenger and not a preacher. I hope to ask two friend who are part of this to make sure I am humbled. As I watch this first series over several times and especially with others, it is becoming more powerful. Thank you for making this possible.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!. Although I really like Jonathan Roumie’s portrayal of Jesus, I can’t help but think that the real Jesus is even better and even more likeable and compassionate than Jonathan. But it helps me envision this like never before and has renewed my faith and love for God! The rest of the cast is great too, and the production writers and crew have really creatively interwoven plausible back stories that give depth to each character. Although I’ve only been watching this for 3 weeks now, I am a super fan and to cross check everything I’m already on a study of a third gospel. This has also really opened a door for me to share Christ with others. I’ve already purchased 10 tickets to the Christmas Theatre showing and am trusting the Lord to fill those seats. Can’t wait for Season 3 and am so thankful that the app offers this to all. If you ever need a Conservatory-trained pianist, I’m in to volunteer! 😊 Thank you and glory to God! Praying for writers to continue to seek guidance and wisdom from the Lord, for the actors to continue to be inspired and inspiring and for the production crew to continue to pursue excellence in putting this all together. Lord, keep the enemy away and pave the way for your gospel message to reach people around the world through this series and through personal interaction.

This show is a must. Not only do I feel like I can identify with each character on different stages of my life but it brings the story to life…it makes me WANT to know Jesus better, The quirkiness of each character makes it even more real. At first I thought I was Matthew…annoying at times but has a purpose for his type of thoughts and processes, then I was Mary, struggling with my past and feeling unworthy especially when I make a mistake or reminded of my past, then I am Simon, who was doing anything he could t survive until Jesus came in and showed him who he could be….He took different personalities and strengths and weaknesses and turned them all into the best version of themselves. It’s what we all can have happen if we allow Him to transform our hearts, minds and souls! Thank you for awakening my faith and creating a show that I can watch over and over again and find new meaning each version! It’s hard to be patient in these times, especially with our need to fill our hearts and minds with God’s Word versus what the world is trying to fill it with. Thank you for filling a need we didn’t even know was empty!! God bless you!

Incredible journey. Feeling very blue and down in the dumps. Watching season 1 again reminded me of this beautiful gift we have to remind us that light overcomes the dark. And I mean Jesus as the gift. I just heard Dallas tell the story of why he decided to make the chosen free for everyone when Covid hit. The first night it was streamed by paying it forward the show made an “impossible math” happen. If not for making the show free then I don’t know that we’d be here bow anticipating season 3 and being able to contribute to its creation. Making it free for whatwas supposed to be temporary made it what it has become today in my opinion. Knowing what’s coming is excruciating. There’s nothing else like this show and no matter what you believe it’s so worth the watching. Thank you for this show. I am and have been a believer but this has just made it so much more fun (at times) and relatable to today’s world. Awesome gift Dallas. Thank you tonal who have contributed and watched and continue to wait for the epic seasons to continue. Until they won’t. That itself makes me want to cry.

Faithful and plausible content!. This review is based upon The Chosen’s first season only. At first I was skeptical about whether a credible and faithful production of the ministry and life of Jesus Christ was possible. I had doubts and questions. Will Jesus’ character speak only the “red letter” dialogue from the Bible? Would this production be a reinterpretation or embellishment of biblical truths, and if so, by watching it will I be guilty of giving credence and support to false teaching? How can this production fill several seasons worth of episodes about Jesus Christ’s relatively short ministry and life without embellishing? I was pleasantly surprised when my doubts and questions were either answered or quelled fairly quickly. I love the idea of a Christian show using crowd funding to get Christian content out to the public and this production seems to be faithful to the Bible by using knowledge of the past culture(s) of Jesus’ day and locality to flesh out the shows characters, their daily lives, and their actions. So far, the show does not seem to take liberties with Jesus character and sticks to the biblical stories. The characters are plausible and interesting and I am enjoying the shows immensely. While I will watch The Chosen series keeping a critical eye, I will continue to watch, and for now I will continue to encourage and my friends to watch also.

Changed my life!!. I was in a pretty bad place in my life, struggling with alcohol, and steering my marriage in the wrong direction. Then I found the Chosen! After hearing about it for several weeks I finally decided to sit down and start watching. I was immediately BLOWN AWAY!! There was this overwhelming since of comfort and peace, and you all have done an amazing job at helping people, including me understand story’s in the Bible. It makes it super easy to see it played out. Rather than listening to it or reading it. My entire family is hooked, from me all the way down to my 4 year old son. I’m almost ashamed to say, but for a long time Jesus has had a hold of me but I resisted him. Now I am proud to say that I have a hold of him, and I’ll never let go. And the chosen has played a part in helping make that commitment. So I will end by saying thank you to the chosen crew and all those who support it. And if anyone out there has a stubborn friend in need like I was, and you can’t drag them to church. Invite them over and turn on the chosen. You never know what Jesus could be doing in their heart to turn them in the right direction. The chosen just might loosen the steering wheel. It certainly did for me. Thank all of you so much my family and I love you all, and GOD BLESS!

The Lord will touch you through this show if you let Him. I was incredibly skeptical about this show, not just because Christian media tends to be a bit cheesy and poorly produced, but also because many movies and shows I’ve watched have kind of missed the mark on certain theological and historical truths. Well, when I began watching, I was immediately stunned by the quality of the production, the amazing acting and storytelling, and the fact that it remained incredibly faithful to the Spirit behind the Gospels! Yes, there are added scenes and backstories, some of which I don’t always agree would have happened, but it doesn’t take away from the overarching theme which is to bring every single viewer closer to Christ. If you are even the tinniest bit open, it absolutely does that! God is truly working through this show. Many of the scenes force me to look at myself and other people through the eyes of Jesus. It is just so powerful to imagine how all of the Apostles and disciples felt when the Lord continually touched their lives in such personal and radical ways. It is a reminder that all of us who exist now that we all have a unique way in which God will choose us and heal us. God bless!

This Show Is Amazing! God Bless you all!. My parents both died recently. And I have just been struggling so much inside. God has been there for me so much and when I started watching this I started to really gain a better perspective of Jesus’ love for us. It made me cry because after my parents passed my siblings and I have been look for someone to attach to but it’s always been Jesus that we’ve needed to seek. And everytime I watch this show I can just imagine the day we all get to see him in person and I fall to the floor in awww for everything he has done and for how beautiful and gracious he is. I have 10 siblings and we are by the same 2 parents that passed. We all have been struggling and I am the oldest who is trying to keep it together for them but I started to feel alone. This show helped me see that Jesus is there, he’s giving me the love I’ve been seeking, he’s here to be the parent and friends I’ve lost. Gosh Jesus, you are just out of this universe! I love your love! Praise God!!! This show just made me feel whole. It also helped me understand the Bible because I am a visual learner so this helped a lot. I say don’t second guess this show. Just watch it and see for yourself.

The Sanctuary. To The chosen What a journey is has been to get here! Thank you so much for listening and being obedient. Your series on the real life of Jesus is a correct interpretation of what it was like for him and the people involved in and around his ministry. His younger life was true to the letter and the reason why he had to be baptised. He was like you all and had free reign to do what he chose in his younger years before he went into his Ministry. He had to go through his desert experience like all mankind does. He could not relate to you otherwise. He walked the path you all have and all will walk the same road until you get to the narrow path where he waits for the 100 to be United. Thanks to your army of specialists producing the program the world will now be able to see what was done for them. My blessings Ka 🕊

The Chosen. An incredible documentary where words cannot really express truly the meaning that this film has brought upon our lives as it brings to life the best images that relates to our modern world bringing a greater hope and meaning to our journey of life and faith, Blessed to have been chosen to watch it, many thanks to the faithful producers of such an inspiring documentary. Adrian & Helen

An incredible series. This app is very effective, I’ve been able to stream straight to my chromecast without any hassle at all. My partner and I couldn’t resist and binge watched the entire first season. The interpretation is incredible and the time given to each moment in the bible really highlights the feeling of stories I’ve known but never understood. I’ve cried through every episode because I’m finally understanding and overcome with the grace of our lord and saviour! It has since encouraged me to read further into the bible. We eagerly await season 2 and 3 and will pay forward as much as we can! Thank you for this series ❤️

The Chosen. The Chosen is truly an inspired show, it brings you to a personal level and a realistic perspective of the life of Jesus without taking away the glory and power of Jesus himself, the character development and the portrayal of status and cultural division is easily understood in these seasons, watching it has made me want to run to my bible and read with a new perspective - these people were real! They were flawed and unworthy of Christ’s forgiveness, just like me!- We also get an amazing depiction of Jesus’s heart, in how he crosses cultural boundaries and challenges cold religion with Gods love, The Chosen is one of those shows you don’t want to stop watching!

Episode 1. I’ve only seen episode 1 about Mary Magdalene and nicodemus.. it finished when Jesus came into that bar and put His hand on Mary’s .and said … you don’t need that ( meaning alcohol ) . then walked out called her Mary and quoted scripture .. the same one her own dad helped her memorise .. I can’t put into Words how the scriptures came alive at that moment …🕊 The Holy Spirit was All over that scene .. 🕊🕊.. I know that truth will reach people who are in need of a saviour ( which is everyone in the world 🌎 ) … a m a z I n g that scene and the history that led up to that … excellent directing / writing … I’ve always red about Mary Magdalene having demons cast out of her … put it c a m e to life and now I can see why she lived Jesus SO Much .. Thankyou for sharing that to the world .. God Bless you all .. from QLD Australia 🇦🇺

Not just for Adults but for everyone 🙂. My 6 & 7 year old girls love this show so much. They actually watch this over kids show - and the best part is after every episode they have questions that they want to clarify and so we read through the Bible - this show brings out curiosity, hunger for more of His word, and impact to everybody in ALL aspect of life. So All Glory to God!

The chosen App is broken on my iPhone. I cannot get passed the first screen, it will not allow me to scroll up so that I can accept the new conditions, I have been able to successfully do this on my iPad but my iPhone will not allow it. I have tried deleting app off my iPhone several times, still does not work as it should, and how it used to. Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Love chosen. Chosen shows the human side of Jesus that we can relate to and love like a good mate Watching this show has changed my life and lives of many people in Australia We all had views of the apostles and never thought of them as ordinary people with faults like the rest of us Chosen has changed all of that and more What I love is reading kids comments about chosen I love it Please hurry up with season three I miss JC and his crew

Back to the Word!. My family can’t wait to watch each episode as it becomes available. It has really inspired us to get back to the daily reading of God’s Word. I didn’t relate to Jesus as human only as God, until I saw these episodes. Now when I read the scriptures they come alive as never before! Thank you so much!

Jesus portrayed as intertwined with Humanity more than his Divinity. The Bible is God’s word and is divinely orchestrated... edited by Holy Spirit. The chosen series provides extra background and contextual elements of human side much more story telling than what you see in gospels... assuming what it would be a typical day in the life of Jesus. Hence the reason this show is outstanding compared to many other Bible movies and TV shows out there... It depicts Jesus as lowly, very earthen, humble, relatable, very-touchable, the actors could almost smell, feel him and deeply intertwined with cultural aspects of the day as he walked the dusty roads of ancient Israel and yet He is the God manifest in human flesh as well as very much in control of the powers he has. All my family watching it had many tears (joyful and humbling) - it’s as if we can’t wait anymore to meet the real messiah.. thank you Chosen team.

Best portrayal of Jesus in a movie. Please take the time to watch this series if you are a Christian and also if you have never darkened the door of a church. Jesus’ portrayal will transform the way you see him if you are a christian person and if you have never been exposed to the story of Christ you will want to know him after watching this series. Thank you to everyone involved in producing such a God glorifying series. I look forward to the upcoming 3 season when it is released.

The Chosen. Fantastic actors and storyline, brings me to tears sometimes. Only wish there were no behind the scene revelations after every episode. That kinda brings my emotions rock bottom, if you know what I mean. Here am I crying as the episode touches me and then to have someone reveal how the fish were made for instance, makes it worthless at every end of episode. Do the explanations have to take place after every episode, or is it that Dallas likes hearing himself?

Love love love this. This is the most exciting movie to come out in a long time. Not only a beautiful true account of the life of Christ but touching stories of those who surrounded Jesus and their reactions and interactions with Jesus in that time in history. Moving and compelling, waking the heart to who Jesus was and is to those who encounter Him and believe in Him. Professionally written and professionally acted. Nothing was missed from props to wardrobe. This movie made me feel like I was there in all the beautiful stories- just watching and being present in every miracle Jesus did. Realising we have Him available to us today in the same power and same degree of closeness. Wow! Jesus is the same yesterday today and tomorrow!! I cannot wait for the second season......

Very well put together. The story of Jesus is a hard story to put together but in the chosen, the director has been able to put the right people in the right casts for their role. I especially enjoy Matthew’s character as it has been an opener for myself. This story must be shared with others as it is unrivalled in terms of life and times of Jesus.

Thank you. To Dallas and to everyone who is apart of the Chosen Team, a huge THANK YOU!!!! You have bundled quality and love together to give HIS people a message of hope! A message that reminds us we are not alone and that our faith is not wasted. Thank you seems such a small repayment for such an incredible journey that you have provided. God bless

The Chosen Team. To you all, Thankyou for making the Scriptures so real and alive as they are the power of God unto salvation. The timing of your work for the edification of the world is so important now. As Handels Messiah was written in a period of history of war and poverty and despair, so we are living in times of despair and a lot of hardship and political change. We also need the encouragement your programs have brought us, as has the Messiah still loved by so many, to help us lift up our heads and believe that our redemption draws nigh. I have appreciated all the cast but especially Jesus representation. It is just as I imagine he was and just as I want to become. You have helped us to visually set a benchmark of inner beauty, patience, loving one another unto salvation. So Thankyou everybody for your role to help the world that is growing in darkness, have some true light of life. Fondly Alison Gore

A must watch. I have been thoroughly enjoying this series with its unique but biblically accurate version of events as Jesus our King walked this earth. The team that produced this series have done a wonderful job in bringing a thoroughly enjoyable experience of the events that Jesus (as well as stories in the Old Testament) lived and ministered to. Can’t wait to continue in the Chosen journey.

Jesus is coming !. All glory to our one true and only God , YHVH the God of Jesus ! God is so amazingly good and loving and kind and patient especially with us Christian’s not willing for any to perish but all come to repentance . And the chosen is another instrument of Gods grace towards this evil and wicked generation to give us all another chance to repent and believe by living all for him & I thank him for that and for you all doing his perfect will . Thank you thank you thank you ! God bless this world abundantly now and until he send Jesus back!

This is great!!!. The Chosen is a series about Jesus but from his Disciples perspectives. As a result it is entertaining for both Christians and Non-Christians. The series teaches a lot about Christianity by how the characters interact with each other while also showing a more historically accurate Jesus. Adding to the historically accurate part; the Crew for the show clearly ensured that the setting would be as historically accurate for the times that Jesus was around for every detail of the costumes to the accents and even showing a glimpse of the society that Jesus would have lived in. I recommend that everyone give this show a watch as it is an interesting take on the life of Jesus.

The Chosen. I and my wife watched it on Easter and with nothing on our schedule due to lock down, we were able to fully enjoy and appreciate the entire season 1 in one go. While growing up in a catholic household, our parents would usually prohibit us from going out on good Friday so we end up watching Jesus’ movies. I tried recalling the emotion during those times but I cannot recall having the same joy, happiness and appreciation while and after watching The Chosen. It’s just phenomenon!

Best depiction of Jesus I have ever seen. I have just started watching this series, and have weeped my way through every episode thus far. I always love to imagine Jesus, and this series has portrayed his kindness, compassion and wisdom so wonderfully. Also love that the series isn’t heavy like some other portrayals of the gospel. There are serious moments, but also funny and joyful moments. Seriously cannot recommend this series enough 👏🏼

Love it!. My family and I are absolutely loving this series, we have been put off by religion over the years due to various different experiences but our connection with God is stronger than ever, this show is not about religion it’s about Jesus’ life and it’s restoring our faith and love of God and also allowing our kids to connect in this space with God and Jesus’s story in a way that feels authentic and rich, thank you from the bottom of our heart for making this series available in the way you have - we will definitely be paying it forward so others get the chance to watch this too

Astoundingly good. I am not one who generally enjoys poorly made religious programmes …… which is why I absolutely love The Chosen! It is astoundingly good! It puts flesh on the bones of the people written about in the Bible as well as adding historically contemporary context to the events! When the miracles take place, they happen in a believable but God-inspired way! The added characters bring further meaning to the stories and help you empathise with many of the unnamed individuals that are written about. The production values, whilst good in the first 4 eps, are so sensationally good now that the first 2 eps of S3 are being shown in cinemas across the English-speaking world. The dubbing and subtitling is continuing to expand to so many different languages. And the acting - at this point words just can’t describe how good it is! So “come and see” and “get used to different” - it is for everyone “who has a pulse” (as Jonathan Roumie (Jesus) said in an interview) - even if you don’t believe but are curious, are from another faith or have no interest in religion whatsoever, give it a try because I promise you you won’t be disappointed! And if you are a Christian you owe it to Our Lord to watch this Spirit- lead show! And all for FREE! It is changing lives - including mine!

Glory to the Lord !!!. What an amazing show! It has open my eyes and my heart to the truth and woke me up! My love for my saviour Jesus Christ is so confirmed with this show. I thank my Father that he worked amazingly through all the staff and cast involved in the production of this wonderful masterpiece! Praise the Lord and may all my brothers and sisters enjoy this show as much as I have. Lord, so bind our hearts to you that people will see you and your church in their beauty. “Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.

the Chosen, Story of Christ, new production series_. Criticism: Aside from giving, virtual, 'involved' perspective: It presents as though we were witnessing things occur, And so the faces and character, nuances or, idiosyncrasies, become involved with our 'affinities', feelings, and apparent 'reality'; the 'communication' of Jesus, tries, and may, touch home; We then, properly, need to remove ourselves, though perhaps with greater connection; back to today's reality, but for the Christian, reality, especially, as things further unfold, means Christ's return coming ever closer; though the anti-Christ, but will only have it's time. ___ Halleleuah_We are in this together_ Believe in Christ; Know, or, learn, authentically, how to swim_ And; Revelation; What's it all about? but, living by Christ centred compassion and thorough understanding, selfless human kindness__

Compassionate. I have been reading through the Old Testament and I couldn’t fathom the compassionate God. He was so far away even through the times he blesses his people. As a child, my mum used to tell me how the books in the bible are stories but I didn’t connect. But this show has changed all that. The possibilities of these men having a real life outside the important things that happened in the bible. On top of that seeing Jesus so gentle and humble. Loving people regardless of their past, their sins and their background. It just shattered all my misinterpretation and misunderstandings of my good God. Thank you Dallas Jenkins for a beautiful portrayal of Jesus and his disciples!

Absolutely amazing!. A wonderful series, beautifully executed! A very different view of the life and times of Jesus, often we have this idea of Jesus being a deity and being holy and we put him in a box, forgetting that he was made human and lived through the full human experience. Jesus as portrayed in this series seems so relatable, it’s made me re-evaluate my understanding and interpretations of several areas of the gospel! I’ve never seen anything quite like this and I am excited to see more!

The Mustard Seed. This is not only the best show about Jesus I have seen. Jesus character does not have a catholic feel about him, but a more down to earth and approachable Jesus. I love Johns character always wanting to protect Jesus. Mathews character seems to have an autistic feel to him. Makes you feel sorry for him and you want to stand up for him when the others put him down and reject him because was a tax collector. Great show. One other thing I love is pay forward. You are helping the show reach more people around the world. That means that people in poorer countries that can not afford to pay the big money be able to watch the show. It also helps the show to keep going as well. In a way, you are helping to get the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ out to people who may not otherwise hear the gospel. I would like also to thank the Producer for listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and not going to get backing from big corporations and private companies. Because it gives us unique opportunities to be a part of something so GREAT. I would also like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work to make the show shows the best it can be and will be. Remember the mustard seed it is tiny but in the right conditions grows quite large. Karen

Heart and Soul. This well-acted show brings life and nuance to the familiar stories of the New Testament Gospels. The characters are fleshed-out and their (possible) motivations are explored in a way that shows the messiness and complexity of first century peoples. It shows how the person of Jesus - his words and actions, speak to the hearts and souls of so many in their various circumstances. It brings me to laughter one minute and tears the next. It nourishes my Spirit. Thank You

Quite Simply; The BEST..!!!. This has got to be the BEST media, the best film, not only about Jesus, but on the lives of the people around him, that has EVER come to our screens since Mel Gibson’s ‘The Passion’. The deliberate effort to creating a most unique beautifully impacting script, the meticulous attention to EVERY detail that we would never even think about, makes so much sense of these time honoured historical stories come to life in a way that even us 21stC thinkers can understand and empathise with. And then there’s the cinematography..!!! I really can’t say enough about it.. Everyone needs to see this.. Quite Simply. No matter who you are, you will be touched by this truly inspired production. 👍🏼👍🏼

Oscar B. Thank you for being so faithful and obedient to the promptings of Holy Spirit. The show has impacted my life so very much. I have watched season one and two a number of times. I find comfort and hope whenever I watch any episode, it keeps me grounded to the reality of who Jesus really is. Please keep going, you have all been created for such a time as this, much love to you all.

‘The Chosen’ has helped me draw nearer to Jesus. Watching this series has affected me: I’ve laughed, cried and been filled with joy. Even though I constantly remind myself that this show is not scripture, I find it impossible to not be drawn into a closer admiration of Jesus. This show has helped my heart accept the truth that Jesus of Nazareth was also human. The acting, direction and production is of a high quality. Every episode leaves me craving more. Well done all, who helped bring this amazing series to to our TV’s. Thank you!

Amazing 🤩. This show is absolutely amazing! It portrays characters beautifully, and in a way I would have never thought of. I love the portrayal of Mary, and how in the second season she leads Mary Magdalene to JESUS, because that is exactly what she does! I think the show is perfect for all denominations of Christianity- I was very glad when they didn’t dismiss Catholic perceptions, and just told the bible story as it is. I cannot wait for the next seasons.

So in love with our lord an saviour. This really is the best thing iv ever watched I’m not much of a reader so this just help me so much help understand more an more iv always believed in our king an his son an watching this has open my heart so much more just really can’t wait to watch around 2 don’t have the money atm to pay for it but I can’t not wait I’m so thankful the 1st one was payed for my a man name joe i really appreciate you joe for give me the chance to watch it for free I hope to do the same for others god bless us all xo🙌🏾👑❤️

Just WOW... utterly refreshing. I’ve watched five episodes and I only discovered it a day ago! You wouldn’t think I’d need reminders, as a Christian, that God is playful, humorous, has real emotions, and that Jesus did everyday things like introduce himself and chat to people. But we all have distorted views of God to battle against/replace. This series is so beautiful in bring historical Bible figures ‘into’ reality! In reducing the formal seriousness of other Gospel films, I believe it does a great justice and service to how things would have been and how we can experience the account today. Thank you! Please do more!!

The chosen. This show depicts each character beautifully. I absolutely agree with Dallas Jenkins when he refers to the ‘Authentic Jesus’. This show has helped teach my mum (a new Christian), about who Jesus is and who the disciples are. It has brought Jesus into my home and into my family, the fact that it is free is amazing. We are blessed by this show. Thankyou for your contribution.

Content is great, usability not so much…. I really like what you’re trying to do here, but the TV casting usability is pretty poor. If I’m casting to my TV, each time I turn on my phone, it starts playing the episode again on my phone at the same time as the TV. The casting controls usually disappear, then when I cast again, it resets the TV position back to the very start. Why doesn’t it at least resume? Even if I start watching on my phone and halfway through switch to the TV, it starts from the beginning!

Didn’t expect THAT!. Knowing aaaalllllll the stories about Jesus from childhood, and having seen many, many other shows about His life, I was not in a hurry to watch it, even if others encouraged me saying how good it was. But then!! It didn’t take me long to get hooked and I binge-watched it laughing out loud and at other times crying my way through the first two seasons in record time. I am super excited for the third season, it cannot come quick enough.

The Chosen. A few years ago my cousin introduced me to The Chosen Series. I was so captivated by it, I listened to the whole of Series One over a short space of time. I have just reconnected with it over this Christmas Holidays 2021 and it has so enthused me, I’m just bubbling with renewed joy. I am so thankful for the series and everything about its production and orchestration is so humanly and Godly perfect. I’m in a different headspace now than a few years ago and I find all the conversations, context and characters even more believable and enjoyable to watch. I will pay it forwards by supporting The production of Season Three. Thank you to all involved in this enlightening project The Chosen.

From a teacher of history and language. Hi I have loved aspects of the series and have recommended it to others BUT there are a couple of irritating things. Firstly that there are American accents of actors playing the Romans. UGH! Surely you could have found actors who were at least neutral vocally. The second thing is the modern idioms and colloquialisms used. I know why you are doing it but I think they don’t work. In fact they jar. However looking forward…I will watch the next series with pleasure as your Jesus is wonderful.

Biblical characters we can relate to. I just love this series. Every character is so well cast. The thing I love about this series is that it puts a human face on Jesus and the disciples and makes them so accessible in our modern world. They are not just recorded descriptions from the bible in a time so long ago it’s unattainable. Christian, non Christian should watch this, these are human characters with modern human flaws. And the acting and direction is superb.

Best show ever!. This is honestly the best show I have ever watched! It portrays Jesus in such an amazing way and really helped me and my family strength our faith in Christ. It sheds a new light on the life of Jesus and inspired and encouraged me to read my bible everyday and further commit myself to my faith. It shows Jesus as both 100% God and 100% human and makes a relationship with him seem so much more real and attainable. I highly recommend this show, and would like to say a huge thank you to the directors, producers, and cast for making the show what it is, as well as everyone who is helping to pay it forward and fund future seasons. Thank you and may God bless you all 🥰

This was your calling to make this amazing series on the Saviour Jesus Christ. Dallas Jenkins - thank you for making this amazing series which brings the Saviour and his disciples to life in a way that has never been done before. I am awed each time I watch a new episode with the level of gospel detail and quality of the script and acting achieved in the series. I am so grateful to you and the entire Chosen team for this amazing series. This was your calling to do this and thank you for doing this as it has giving me a greater insight and appreciation into the life of the Saviour Jesus Christ and his disciples. Just an amazing, awesome and fantastic piece of work!

Best Jesus likeness ever portrayed. Loved this so much. Jesus is literally the hardest act to follow! I always feel in most attempts he often comes across as a bit of a sad, weird introverted person, who isn’t relatable and kinda depressed all the time. The Chosen nails it, God’s doing a new thing here. Love the way they have brought the gospels to life and are reaching so many making it easier to contextualize scripture. Thank you!!

The Chosen ....umm, The Amazing!. It is so wonderful to see Jesus’ story depicted in such a relatable way! We forget He was also a human, experiencing life and all the emotions it entails. To see the characters depicted in such a way that makes you want to reach into the screen and hug them is just wow! Even though this is a story as old as time and we know how it ends, I just can not wait for season 2 and will go back and re watch and re watch season 1 until then.

My Lord and my God. Thank you for coming my King and opening up the door that we couldn’t open that leads us from from darkness into light and from death to life. Thank you for receiving my little Naomi and keeping her to be with you until I breathe my last here on this earth and return to you in your presence face to face. Jesus you are the lover of my soul. I worship you alone for you alone are worthy. Love you all my brothers and sisters that are hidden in Christ and look forward to the wedding in the Kingdom of Heaven. Bless you all. Joseph

Binge Jesus. Great show already and there’s more to come.. it’s heart touching and enjoyable to watch, I find myself watching it again and again just because eveytime I watch it I get more out of it that I missed. I love how we get a glimpse of what the deciples may have been and how they lived. I just received my hoodie and a couple of shirts in the mail, the quality is great too. Thank you for bringing the bible to LIFE.. 💙🙏✨😎

Rebecca McClenaghan. I’m enjoying this series. It is incredibly down to earth and so real! All the characters played by the actors are fabulous!! What a joy and a privilege to see such tremendous performances to the “glory of God!” I’m so proud of you all. I’m sure God sits in His heavens and is “well pleased” with the show. I have binge watched the 2 series over and over. I do have a life, but I’m absolutely hooked on THE CHOSEN. I fully intend to continue to support the team so that this amazing series can continue….to reach the lost and hopeless…Jesus loves you peeps!! May He make His face shine upon you and give you peace!! Shalom, Shalom!! Yours in Him Bec McClenaghan , Sunshine Coast, Australia

Simply Beautiful!. Loved the Biblical and creative balance of how the story of Jesus is presented. Watching the show gave me an insight into the emotions each of the characters in the Bible which are very much relatable at a personal level. I also enjoyed watching the Deep Dive contents particularly the Round Table discussions that Dallas Jenkins had with the Biblical experts from the different faith traditions (Catholic, Jewish, Evangelical) which are very informative and encourages one to really focus more on the core things we have in common rather than the nuances of our beliefs.

Great series. The character of Jesus is very compelling, and the adaptation of gospel scenes is excellent. I will watch the lot, and encourage you to do so too. There is a lot of back story, some excellent, but some that feels very contrived and unconvincing. Just one example, but a jarring one, had Simon and his wife discussing whether it is a good time to start a family. No first century couple thought in those terms; you married, and started having babies. If you did not, it was a deeply demoralising problem. There is a lot like that. Overall, really good. I feel that, along with their faith consultants, they might have benefited from a classicist or similar on their team, but that should not keep you from watching the best depiction of Jesus since The Passion.

Praise to God for such a wonderful presentation. My husband and I have really enjoyed this beautiful story of the life of Jesus with its “modern” twists. My husband though and myself have found some of the sound to be difficult to understand as some of the words get muffled out when the music becomes too loud. This is especially when women are speaking. It has not deterred us from watching it in its entirety. We do hope that the last episode in Season 3 is not the final episode and that the entire life of Jesus and His gift of His life to the world will be shown.

Fantastic show. Really well made, top quality show, bringing the greatest story ever told on a different level.

How to watch offline. Jungle Beat is my 4 year olds favourite show and my wife and I love chosen. Thanks for making this available. My one question is how do I watch downloads offline? When I try to start the app offline it just stalls on a black screen. I can turn wifi off after a show is running but haven’t figured out how to play a show in the car for my son. If you could let me know what I am missing I would appreciate it!

Meilleure série!. Belle application, facile d’utilisation et surtout, The Chosen qui est de loin la série la plus touchante des dernières années. À voir sans faute!

AMAZING. 100% worth the watch!

The Chosen. What an amazing series! It is so well done. I have laughed and cried watching the shows, and my heart is drawn even closer to God from watching the characters come to life on the screen. I am so impressed and moved by this program that I had to pay it forward. God is at work! ♥️

Amazing. Lead me to a deeper relationship with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All my love to The Chosen team for making this. God bless each and every one of you! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about Jesus.

Jesus made more real. I found this to be a great way of understanding the Scriptures. I always wondered about the back stories of people who met Jesus. This is a great telling of those stories, in addition to the great fleshing out of the biblical biography of Jesus. Thank you.

The chosen one. Can’t watch the chosen one😭 was looking forward to it sad

Thank you Everyone!. I want to thank everyone who have donated and everyone who has created and angel studio as a whole. My boyfriend and I don’t make enough money to pay to watch these shows, and the fact that we can watch it and grow in faith means the world to me. It’s hard to find content that is modest, clean, not worldly. I appreciate it!

Hope in Jesus. You will find Jesus. Watch!

Thanks!. Thank you so much for this App!!! God bless you all!!!

New version of the app won’t connect to the tv. Does not work since the Angel App was updated

Such a blessing!. This show is definitely changing my life as I gain more visual perspective of what the Scriptures says - the backstories, the direction, the acting, the script - simply mind blowing! The cast, crew, and Mr. Jenkins’ work is absolutely marvellous and phenomenal! Thank you Chosen team for revolutionizing the cinema industry! 🤩 My recommendation to all the viewers would be to educate yourself about Jewish traditions and most importantly to read the Bible more - particularly the Gospels - since the backstories are created based on in-depth research and study just to elevate the essence of the context of what Jesus was doing during those days. For example, in S1E02 (Shabbat) Jesus requests Mary Magdalene to say the Shabbat prayer because that’s who He is - Jesus showed pure equality - because the tradition is that men usually started the Shabbat dinner with prayer as you see in the other scenes! It is very important to know the background and The Chosen team outline that very clearly before S1E01 and this should therefore create the viewers a hunger or thirst for the Word ☺️🙏🏽

Incredible. This app and studio has baptized my imagination all over again. The Kingdom of heaven is advancing and Holy Spirit is raising up platforms like this one to counter the filth of Hollywood. Absolutely brilliant in every way.

A Must Watch!. This show was such a blessing to me to watch and see visually what it would have been like in Jesus’ time and just to see the miracles He did, is so powerful and a much needed reminder Who Jesus is and what He’s done. I’m so thankful for this show and would re watch it, it’s that good! My boyfriend and I watched it together and we couldn’t stop watching, it’s so captivating and depicts Jesus and his disciples in such a real way.

W. Ok

Progress!. Finally, a streaming app that’s dedicated to sharing the truth, word and love of Jesus Christ. This is what we need! 🙏🏽

👍. Amazing app! The chosen is such a good series and I’m currently watching season 2. Best part is, the app is 100% free. I definitely recommend.

Come and see. Seriously, just come and see

I love IT. This show help me get closer and you SHOULD watch chosen

Goosebumps. This show has made me fall in love with Jesus... such an incredible production, something I’ve never experienced before. This app is so convenient and well made. The whole team behind this is doing amazing work

Don't like the forced commercials. Thank you Angel Studios for carrying The Chosen. I love it. My only complaint is that I don't appreciate you forcing commercials on me for your other productions. Its that I don't or won't watch your other productions. I will watch them when I'm ready. I just don't appreciate it being pushed in my face. Thank you.

I really like the show, but I have a problem. I don’t have money for this $150. it’s not right I’m trying to put it on my hdTV and you won’t let me.. it’s like block. I already deleted the app. The part makes me really wonder about…. Love chosen those some of us to go to contact… I’m happy with it. It’s ok.. Why do I pay when I can’t afford it… I barely making it and I’m gonna give you money, and with this trouble. able to have the money that I can forward it can pay it. I want the airplay to work

Grateful. I am so grateful to Dallas Jenkins and the entire The Chosen team for bringing the gospels to life!

Beyond amazing!!!. This app and the series “The Chosen” are beyond amazing. You truly fall in love with a Jesus full of love a mercy… the true Jesus. Thank you for bringing this to life and for letting God to guide you. Many blessings.

Not working on iPhone. Scrambled sign for the text on iPhone 8 which has updated software. I can enter my first name but the next button covers the text and doesn't go to the next box. I tried many times but no joy. The thumbnails are very nice so I clicked on one with the arrow and it doesn't play. It doesn't look like it's meant for mobile.

Life changing. This series is life changing. Download it, it is the best app on my phone.

Amazing!!. Love this App!

Love it.. God is so good. Definitely recommend!

Hopeful. The Chosen has changed my life personally for the better. I wasn’t going to watch The Chosen at first, after I started I found myself crying at each episode! I was completely overwhelmed by the love God has for me. I am a very visual learner so The Chosen has helped me actually learn about God, in completely new and beautiful ways - Praise God and please check this out (trust me, you will not regret it) <3

Wolves in Sheep’s clothing. These guys aren’t true believers. There’s a behind the scenes clip going viral of a camera man having two rainbow flag on his back, and one other one on the directors chair. Thank God for exposing them.

Good. Not about does it entertain u spiritual, it teaches you more about the word of God. God bless every hand that uses the platform.

Great!. Can’t get the shows introduction song out of my head! Great show keep it up!

episode 2. made me cry when Jesus talks to Mary in her home. Made me feel as if Jesus was addressing ne. the actor’s voice is so compelling even on youtube.

Update your app. So addicted to the show but your app needs improvement…freezes quite often can’t press the wide screen or rewind/forward when I need to

Some room to grow. Cinematography, costumes and dialogue are very entertaining and high quality. Not happy about the mocking portrayal of Jewish people. Remember, Jesus was a Jew too and so this mocks his family.

Awesome but glitchy app. Hi thank you guys for everything, you guys are awesome but please fix your app, streaming and downloading is very glitchy and app crashes occansionally

wonderful. Every episode gets me to tears! Great cast. Holy Bible is depicted wonderfully.

Revival. It’s in Christs name to which my faith lays. Seeing his portrayal on this app is so refreshing, it’s reminds me of how perfect he is. The show is just excellence, excellent acting, and excellent in staying true to God. May we see more come out of this app like this

Fantastic Show. Weaving the stories of the most Devine Being ever to walk the planet is done in the most captivating way! Superb acting and casting and scenery. While the Bible can be very lacking in description and imagination, The Chosen does a fabulous job interpreting and bringing the stories to life! Plus, the aftershows and round tables provide really informative, bonus material. And, you’ll find some great merchandise too. I love everything about The Chosen and although we know exactly how the story will end, I wish it wouldn’t have to …

Angel studio ap. Having trouble getting this to work…removed it and trying to load again. Oh by the way Facebook blocked angel 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Amazing. The world needed this. It needs to hear His words again, to follow them.

I love this show. We have been watching the chosen since season 1 and feel grateful we have been able to pay it forward and support this extremely well filmed and well told version of the life of Jesus the Christ. Shalom shalom to all who stand with you!

Excelente me encanta !. Es una gran serie, los actores y actrices son muy profesionales. Excelente equipo de producción. Me ha acercado más a Jesús ❤️

Inspiring!. This series is interesting, exciting and motivational. It gives me joy and makes me hopeful about the most important messages that people can hear. We need to centre our lives. We need to realize that life is about more than “me’. We need each other and we need a focus. Jesus is the cornerstone.

Subtítulos. Hay una falla en los subtítulos para iPad

Praise the Lord!!. I absolutely adore the Angel app, I recently deleted all other streaming networks and so I only watch shows on the Angel app. The chosen is my favourite show ever, constant tears of Joy and Happiness. Bless the creators of this content!

Beautiful. Beautifully acted, beautiful production, beautiful stories

AMEN. I Cannot thank u enough for bringing this App to life!! Amen 🙏🏻🤍

Amazing, Spectacular!!. By far one of the most gratifying streaming series on the television today. This series expands on a what if, what could have been history of the disciples of Christ. AND bringing a fun side to Jesus that we can relate to as followers. We can laugh, cry, have compassion for all the characters in this wonderful series, because it relates to us as individuals, and the quality of the actors, the sets, and the writing are superb. Another genius move is that this series is crowd funded and allows me to pay it forward. Whether you contribute $15 or $50k, this is the people’s show. No big studio budget to pass off their PC version of Jesus. NO PAYMENT REQUIRED THOUGH! This is a completely FREE SHOW to all the masses worldwide. Whether you are a Christian, Jew, Agnostic, or Atheist, you can enjoy this show. Yes, we obviously know the ending, but getting to know the characters is the icing on the cake! Kudos, kudos, kudos, to Dallas Jenkins and his cast of characters and the staff for their dedication to this series! May God Bless you all in the coming 5 seasons of this epic series! Johnny

High standards and kept promises. This app was shared with me by a young friend and I ignored it for over a year. He reminded me again, with the challenge “come and see”. I did, and I have not recovered since and never want to. My candle is relit and the fire burns again. As a production, the acting, casting and locations are extremely well thought out and executed. Even if I wasn’t personally and emotional impacted I would recognize the quality - especially as a pro gratis production. Most spiritual dramas and especially Christian productions are well-meaning but painful to watch if you are hyper-critical as am I. The Chosen is not perfect - even in Biblical accuracy there are small errors and liberties - but substance outweighs details and this series delivers on substance. Do you have 45 minutes to find out how your heart is? Come and see. It will be worth the time. Thanks to the writers, actors, crew and VidAngel among others who brought this show to us for free and even crowd-funded it all while demanded accuracy and skill of the players. I will definitely pay forward to get this to others. And thanks for the “Deep Dives” with the Rabbi, Priest and Evangelical, who are definitely not the start of a joke. As a charismatic/Pentecostal, it is amazing that I found the best nuggets of background from Rabbi Sobel and Father Guffey. So when do we get the Deep Dives for season 2? Thanks for blessing us with The Chosen

The Chosen. The greatest series ever created for television. The story of the life of Christ has never before been done in such a way that you feel like you were there with Christ and his Chosen. I was moved so many times and brought to tears like never before. I can’t tell you enough that you need to download the app and watch the series. I promise you won’t be able to watch just one episode and if you’re like me you will watch an entire season and more in one sitting. To all those who have contributed, thank you all so very much. I appreciate you all and may God bless each and every one of you beyond your wildest imagination. To the actors and actresses of The Chosen, well done and may God also bless each of you as well. To all those behind the scenes who we may never meet, thank you for being so generous and caring with your work. It stands out like nothing I have ever seen before and Hollywood doesn’t come close to your work. Thank you to anyone I have left out. The absolute best app I have on my phone. Recommend it highly to all.

Watch the Bible comes to life!. I have been a Christian all of my life and have read the Bible, gone to church, but my faith and relationship with God has deepened since I started watching this show. It is wonderfully acted, and helps the Bible come to life for those who know the Bible, and for those who may have never heard the scriptures and stories featured in The Chosen. I also love that the show is completely crowd- funded and that gives the opportunity to keep the show free for all to enjoy. There’s no subscription, no login details needed and there’s an option to ,”Pay it forward;” which helps to bring the show to others, keep it free, help fund future seasons and even translate into other languages. I like though that there no pressure to give money, it’s an option if you feel led to bless others as you’ve felt blessed by the show. It’s truly a life-changing show and is something that everyone should experience.

Thank you for creating the chosen. I have liven being introduced to this by a dear friend. I love how it has strengthened our faith and helps us to keep encouraging one another to spend more time in prayer and the Word. I’m so grateful for the way you made these cherished truths so real and relatable to everyone and anyone. The characters and message of this is so different from other movies/tv shows I’ve seen on the gospels or the Bible. I absolutely love what you’re doing and will support it in the financial means which I humbly can but moreover importantly I will continue to tell others to come and see not just the show but to experience the love and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus. God bless you and your team Dallas & everyone at Angel studios. I can hardly wait to binge more as each season is released. I will continue to stand with you in faith that our Lord God will be faithful in completing the good work he has called you to! Amen or shall I say, see shalom my brothers and sisters

Heart Repair Specialists. For a very long time I had walked through life feeling like I could trust no one, with an unrelenting broken heart, after watching the first episode, I began to question this heart sickness I had had for so long. The cure for it has always been right in front of me, why, I read my Bible almost everyday, intensely studied it for decades, but my heart was still a stone. My studies didn’t have the depth of feeling for some reason and I couldn’t figure out how to get it. Back to the episode, Acts 28:30-31 makes me think, this is my heart, how is it to feel if I’m not shown how to feel about any matter. The last episode of season 2, had taken a sledge hammer to my heart, and my real heart saw the light of day, the heart that feels. Keep up this much need work, the Word is spreading, episodes being shared with families of different political positions, I just watch the faces and the hearts… Thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️ Lori

Unbelievable!. I could have never dreamed up the amazing series about my Heavenly Father’s Son as everyone involved with The Chosen has done. If there was such a thing as perfection involving humans? Then this is definitely it! I absolutely love and adore it and drive everyone around me about it crazy! Lol. It has made my possible final days (I have a rare form of cancer that is terminal), of course I rely on the prayers from those that love me and even some that don’t to see me through but if Our Heavenly Father decides that my time is not close then I will take it! Every day, hour and minute. It would be nice to see The Chosen through, that could be a goal. That and seeing my granddaughter graduate? Let’s face it, I’ll take any time that He gives me. I’m closer to Him each and every day. For that I am very thankful! A prayer from the followers of this amazing series would be a miracle in and of itself. Regardless, please continue doing what you are doing. I think that it is working! Much love and hugs galore to each and everyone of you! I believe that The Chosen is a miracle.

Nearly perfect!!. It’s amazing how each interaction or scenario is lengthened. It’s nice to have a visual image of parts of the New Testament that weren’t elaborated on in the Bible. When the times come that ARE in the Bible, they’re pretty spot on even if the timeline is a little different. Either way, Jesus said what He said and did what He did! Gotta love our REAL King, but the man who plays Him here is absolutely great. I cried so much during this show and praised the Lord at times because this made me think of how He must have been with His followers. I’m excited to see the rest of the stories! Wish I had more to pay it forward with! I hope this show is watched by more than just believers and reaches some souls! Jesus Christ is King, our Lord and Savior!! He is risen. Let’s love Him and keep those commandments 🙌🏼 I hope to see you all in the Kingdom of Heaven ❤️ If you haven’t given your life to Christ, please don’t wait! Pray to Him, repent of your sins, and ask Him to come into your heart. To change you. Give Him your life and see that it’s the best thing you’ve ever done. Go, and sin no more!

Unlike Anything Seen Before. The Chosen tv show and it’s affiliated app defies entertainment norms. The show is funded through devoted fans, and the app allows those fans to give streaming views to others across the globe by “paying it forward.” The PIF model allows anyone to download the app and watch the entire show at no cost of their own, in any country, as well as fund future seasons. Once they’re finished, they can send a thank you to the person who financially enabled them to see it. The Chosen app is the ONLY app I know of that hosts its own television show directly, working outside tv networks and big name streaming services so content can reach fans directly. It also allows users to connect to smart TVs so they can enjoy the experience on a large screen. App and entertainment creators should take note of The Chosen’s unique business model and technology, because it very well could be the first in a new trend of television streaming.

Learned so much!. Learned many things I didn’t already know this really gave me a sense of what it may have been like to the communities Jesus taught at and how the people lived back in that time. The historical context is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately and this helped! The deep dive with biblical scholars helped break down each episode and give me a greater understanding from other religious views as well which was really neat growing up in a community where I only ever had a Christian (methodist) outlook. Downloaded on iOS device (ios 13) the app works just fine when streamed on my phone no issues other than sometimes if I clicked off the screen and came back I had to hit pause and play again. As for the reviewers saying it’s click bait they must not read well- as of aug 2020 there’s an option to pay it forward and support the show and help others watch for free or you can accept a pay it forward and watch for free you don’t have to pay to watch but you can if you so feel inclined. Super excited for the seasons and stories to come!

A MUST WATCH 10/10 GREAT SHOW. Thank you for this! I am so glad this series has been created, I always wondered why there isn’t as many shows/movies about Jesus and other stories from the Bible, like there is so many shows and movies bout many other things. Funny because after I had that thought I stared coming across ADs on instagram about the series. That’s how I discovered this incredible show. I feel like everyone needs to watch this show if they want a visual of events that took place in the Bible. Also just because I feel like every human should know the story of Jesus Christ and all that he has done. So if you aren’t one to open up the Bible, please DO watch the show. You’ll be sure to learn a lesson or 2. You can also relate to the disciples and see a bit of yourself in them. So many great things to say about this, but mainly just THANK YOU ALL! To the ones that make this series possible. Great work you are all doing spreading the gospel in this way. God bless.

Jesus The Way Maker! From the Bible - See it in The Chosen. I’ve been amazed at the beautiful portrayal in The Chosen series of how Jesus came to make a way for us. I’ve watched the episodes numerous times and every time it’s more impacting than the previous time, bringing tears and a hunger to dive into Bible study more intently. While watching the episodes I find myself living out the lives with the characters. This has helped me gain a greater understanding of the culture during that time and what the people experienced. All of these are done in such a way that is relatable in this age. It also helps me to appreciate our blessings and what Jesus went through for us! Thank you for all the hard work and rough conditions you’ve gone through to create such a wonderful series of outreach. Not only for the beautiful message leading the lost to salvation but also impacting our desire to follow Him as fishers of men, sharing The Good News! ><> ><> ><>

The Chosen is an amazing series!. The first time I watched The Chosen I watched all 3 seasons and every episode. I watched until I couldn’t hold my eyes open and then when I woke I would go back to the last part I remembered and do it all over again, I was in awe. Johnathan Roumie portrays Jesus just as I imagine him in my heart. I truly get lost in every episode and cry in every single once of them! Every time Jesus prays to God and performs a miracle, I cry tears of spiritual bliss. I have watched all 3 seasons twice now and I am so excited to watch season 4. All the actors/actress’s in this series really put their hearts into their parts, I get lost in The Chosen every time I watch it. The series will captivate you and actually makes me feel closer to Jesus and closer to God. I know that sounds strange to those who have not seen this mesmerizing series but it pulls you into the time, into what they were going through and mostly to unwavering faith we should all have for our lord and savior, king of the universe!

Best depiction of those times. I think of the Chosen as more about the disciples than really about Jesus. The creative backstories are true to the times, the culture, and what we know about each one from the Bible. The writers use all of that and weave a beautiful story of how it might have all played out long ago. Each episode is a message of the power, compassion, and love of Jesus, the God-man, affecting the individuals who were Chosen to walk alongside Him on Earth. Also, how His life affected those who hated and were jealous of Him. What definitely comes through is that when you are confronted by the LORD of the universe clothed in the body of a humble carpenter- you can’t ignore Him- you are forever changed- either you hate Him or you love Him and follow Him. Thanks so much to all those involved from actors to those behind the scenes. I have definitely grown in my walk with the Lord and your take on the story has moved me to tears as you portray on the screen the reality of who our God really is!!

New observation. I have studied the Holy Bible for 33 yrs. This production has given me a new insight on the personality of Jesus and the disciples along with people that we’re ministered to like the woman at the well, the paralytic and so many more. I felt a much deeper level and understanding of the True compassion of Christ. The display of the disciples struggles represent much of ours as His disciples today. The need for the True Body of Christ Jesus Yeshua to understand 2 Chronicles 7:14 is paramount to the healing of our land. We must humble our selves and turn from our wicked ways. I believe the Lord has called me to go and evangelize this message. I don’t know how but I do know He will show me. I have/am completely in the process of surrendering my will for His. It might sound strange but I most identify with Peter and have even been told that many times. That’s not the strange part but the fact that the story about the woman at the well is the one I understand very well. I am 64 and have a lot of baggage the Lord is released me from, Hallelujah!! Now that I am free from the “religion” I’ve been under in the local church setting I can freely live for the love of my life and serve Him with so much more freedom! I think of The Pilgrims progress and the baggage falling off of his back. I will pay it forward for others to be blessed as I have been through “The Chosen”. praise the Lord!!! M. L. McFadden Matthew 6:33,34 Romans 12:1-3 Philippians 4:13 Says we can!

The Chosen helps me really see Jesus!. Having seen The Chosen show multiple times, I’ve come to see even more Jesus and the disciples as real people that really lived! So often before the disciples seemed like characters in a story, but not people that lived with common life struggles like we all have. Some day I’m going to see Jesus and be able to hear first hand about the disciples lives when we are in heaven! I can’t wait!!! The show has also helped me realize how much Jesus loves and is drawn to the broken hearted and the outcast. Loving us and coming to free us from sin and it’s consequences is what He’s all about!!! The show has drawn me even more into reading the Bible, especially the gospels! As I see with new eyes the life of Jesus and those He touched and befriended in His life! So yeah, I’m a huge fan and fully in invested in this show! Give it a chance, watch till episode 4 at least to see if it’s for you! You won’t be sorry! But even more ask Jesus to come close and show you Himself! He will!

Everyone should see this. This is what will change the world we need apps like this. Someone once told me a story about a man on the beach. He and his family went to beach every evening but one evening he saw another man that was throwing starfish into the sea. The man started to scare the other man’s wife. So the other man went down to talk to the man that was throwing them back into the sea. The man asked what he was doing over and over but he never answered until, the other man said you can’t save them all. The man who was throwing the starfish stoped looked at him and said, “ well it matters for this one” he picked one up and threw it. “And it matters for this one.” The man kept doing this until the other man realized that it didn’t matter that he saved them all. But that man was determined to save as many as he could. The point is that it doesn’t matter if you can save everybody, it matters how many you save. And this app is a way we can share the gospel. Spread this app to everyone! And share the gospel!

Love for the Chosen. I enjoy the Chosen so much I get emotional everytime I watch an episode. I wanna just sit at his feet and listen. My life today is very challenging my mother went with God 4 years ago less than 2 years later my sister joined her. I’m disabled and living alone now. With the pandemic I have been strictly alone. Tried to forget grief by taking prescription medication and staying sleep. So this delayed my grieving process. My next step was the wine and alcohol. When my Mother passed away that August that following January I had a stroke. When my sister passed I started having heart problems. October 2019 when I bought my medications. I had no money for Groceries so I did without then when I got groceries I couldn’t eat. I went 3 weeks or a little longer without food but I did drink enough water to survive. God kept me. I became so very weak I went to the ER, that’s when I found out my heart was out of rhythm. Threw all my health problems physical and mental, God never left me. The Chosen was a blessing to me. It breathed life into the bible. Thank you All very much.

Blueprints for the build ahead.. When I saw the trailer for Season1 Episode 1, I was curious but I didn’t think much of it. After watching episode 1 I wasn’t sold because I was used to every Jesus film made (stoic and robotic)….The Chosen wasn’t that. I decided to watch episode 2 and slowly I was drawn it. I couldn’t put my finger on it but something was different and I liked it. I’m a fan and I tell everyone about The Chosen. It’s a work in progress definitely heading in a new and bold direction. Being the first is extremely difficult. Everyone scoffs and predicts failure because they can’t see the dream inside. Only a few can see far enough ahead of the crowd to know the fruit of their labor will be a world changing move to how the usual will no longer be the same’ol thing. Like so many pioneers of old and current; Dallas has a desire and vision that will be the blueprint for others to follow in crowd funding successful shows/ movies. The Chosen is an amazing series and the point of view is Dallas tells the story is refreshing and needed.

Best Bible based show ever!. My dad was a Pastor he came from 6 straight generations of Pastors, knowing the Word was almost born into me! I do not use the word Jesus I use Yahshua and Yeshua as the Messiah walked amongst us as a Hebrew! I love the fact that it shows many people of color because that is how it was, even though they call the Messiah Jesus and show him lighter skin than the description of Him in the Bible, I enjoy the effort because many people would be turned off by to much of the TRUTH! The stories of exploring their daily lives are so believable, because we are only human and the best of us will doubt regardless of countless miracles! The world needs this right now because the world is pushing race, gender, and political correctness! These believers stepped up but we cannot allow them to be alone, if WE are believers we must begin stepping in and start believing that YOU are not alone WE have been created for such a time like this to bring Yeshua Glory!!!

Makes the Bible come to life! Gives me chills!. I grew up going to church, and now take my own family to church; so it’s safe to say I’ve read and heard the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, many times. However, seeing it portrayed in the chosen has made it come alive more than ever before! I feel like now when I read Matthew, I literally think of Matthew from the chosen, or when I read John 1:1-5 I think of Season 2 Episode 1. I could go on and on, but I just want to highlight two more things quickly. Seeing the human side of Jesus is so amazing. It just reminds you, that while Jesus was fully God, He was also fully human too. He understands us more than we understand, and is constantly pursuing us, even when we screw up. Lastly, seeing the disciples argue amongst each other, and not have it all together, even though they walked with Jesus daily, makes me feel better that I also don’t always have it all together. It’s nice seeing the disciples were also human, and weren’t perfect.

BINGE THE CHOSEN. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW‼️🙏 it’s absolutely amazing awesome beautiful funny touching relatable painful & fills me with GRRREAT HOPE! Amazing, eye-opening. I know that this is a human imagining of what this time would have looked like, and as such it may have flaws. But could it not still be inspired by God? I believe it is. My understanding of the gospels has been brought to life by this series. What was once very flat, two dimensional, and black and white, is now in technicolor. I appreciate the dimension and diversity of the characters. I think the acting is superb. Most of all, I appreciate hearing some of the stories of the Bible told from another perspective, like the story of the good Samaritan being told from the perspective of one of the ones who beat and robbed the man and left him for dead. Haven’t you always imagined them as being horrible and wicked? Can we apply that same lesson to some of the people that we hear about or meet in our own lives? I pray that God continues to bless this project, and I am putting the word out to anyone who will listen!

A colorful addition. Even though i am super late to this party, isn’t it said the last will be first and the first will be last!? This show has added so much to my life and fueled my fire for God all the more! As i watch every episode i stop and research and read the bible and ask questions and learn these characters and dive deeper into the parables of teaching. I’m using a bible app that has connections in scripture to where each line has made mention in connection to the Old Testament to almost bring the backstory of some episodes full circle. I think, what great thing is about this show, is that it humbles the story of the New Testament even more to where we are not stuck trying to see ourselves as the hero of every story but with humility connecting ourselves with some of the disciples or smaller characters. How wonderful it is to see some of Simon or Mary in you and to know that they were still chosen by Jesus 💖

Remarkably Adheres to Scripture. This series does an excellent job of adhering to the Biblical accounts. Literary license is not a license to lie, but lies are what I’ve seen with almost every Bible-based movie or series I’ve ever watched. There may be some differences in interpretation and certainly there are non-biblical, fictional “fill-in” scenes. But those in this series do not distract from or misrepresent Scripture, and they are well within the possibility without violating the character and holiness of Jesus. As to the casting and character development, I have to say most do not align with how I have envisioned Jesus or many of the disciples—especially Jesus, Peter, and Matthew. I don’t see evidence in Scripture, for example, that would lead me to believe Jesus would have been so jovial, as He is generally presented as a very sober and serious person in Scripture. His character is probably the most out-of-sync with the biblical Jesus, but it is not outside the possibility of His personality, as Scripture only tells us a snippet of info on His personality within (usually) the context of ministry, not His daily life.

Wonderful series. I recommend everyone watch it. Truly remarkable. I will admit up front my daughter tried to get me to watch this since the first episode last year but I didn’t. One reason was I could only watch it threw my phone that has a small screen & the second was I didn’t think I wouldn’t like it. Would it be sacrificial? When they ran it on Facebook the week of Easter I finally watched it. I got hooked after the first episode.. I never thought of the human side of Jesus before & my father was a minister so I grew up in church. I always thought of God as the Powerful being he is. I never considered how he would interact with people or him growing weary. Now I find myself wishing they could make the episodes faster. I have recommended it to people on Facebook and off Facebook. I guess the devil didn’t want me to watch but he lost that battle. Thank you Dallas Jenkins & the cast & crew for this wonderful series ❤️❤️

Saved By The Grace Of God. This show I believe in my heart this movie of Jesus life brought my son closer to Jesus Christ and has a better understanding of the life of Christ. I believe he believes deeply in Jesus Christ and he has got the Bible with him that I left on his night stand. And I pray my son continues his journey towards Jesus Christ. And Jesus continues to open doors for him. It seems every time he gets a job something happens first time covid and closures now he got another job and he got covid and just started his job a week ago. So we are praying for a full healing and praying his job when he gets to go back is better than before with prayer and praise to God. Still trying to get my other sons to watch this seeing this movie make’s you feel like you are there walking next to God. But we are walking next to God every day and He with us even when we are sinners. He is there just waiting for us to reach out and take Him into our hearts and our life and when we do watch out every thing changes we have joy love, peace and the Love of Christ

Breaths life into my understanding of Jesus. For most of my faith life, I have read scripture and visioned in my mind’s eye black and white stick people speaking in King James English to each other. Between the stories of the Gospel, the picture went dark in my mind and resumed in the next scene. The Chosen brings to life in technicolor not only the characters and the stories but almost as importantly, what likely was happening between the stories. While admittedly, some creative license is taken in developing the personalities of the disciples, the underlying facts we know from scripture about them greatly buttresses how the Chosen portrays them. The quality and thoughtfulness of this series has greatly strengthened my love and understanding of Jesus because it shows Jesus as so approachable and human and humble and even humorous but also focused, unafraid, all knowing and powerful. I hope you enjoy and support this great work that so many have invested so much of their lives to bring to life. Phil

Worth EVERY MINUTE!. This is a phenomenal series, a step into the life of the disciples and the life of Jesus portrayed beautifully. Can’t wait for the rest of the seasons. This has made a huge impact in my life, and has allowed me to look at the gospel in a new way. I’m finding out more about the gospel, what it means and am able to study it in a way I’ve never seen before. I’ve always wanted to find a show or movie that gave a better depiction of who the characters are in the Bible, and the lives they may have lived. Although the stories may not be 100% and actual footage of the disciples or Jesus himself, but it is by far the best portrayal I’ve ever seen. And amazingly the footage isn’t like any B-rated movie you’d expect it to be, especially since it is crowd funded. It’s as good, if not better than most any cinema or show I currently watch or have seen. Thank you Chosen creators, supporters and all affiliates for the change and impact you’ve had in my life!

Illuminating. As a minister we all know the stories and yet underneath them there are so many facets and directions that are untold. We turn to scripture and read the word yet we know we are just getting a tiny glimpse of the much deeper Christ. I love the creative freedom the writers have with this series. They write what the possibilities that could well have happened with each character and personalize or make human the characters we improperly idolize. This is truly a heart warming and chilling more accurate than we think series. After all God is actually fun and feels and laughs and cry’s. He made us creative to create and what is better than telling the true story along with what we may think it was like in the first century. After all isn’t that what being a believer is all about.. striving to tell the story on how we have experienced Christ. We have no proof of the side stories but they amplify the message and make the whole more powerful. I’d imagine if we truly knew all the stories from out King they would certainly be even more elaborate.

What the world needs NOW. This Ap is unique in every way and the content is above and beyond any other program I’ve seen on the life of Jesus through the eyes of the disciples. Everything about it is breathtaking, and exquisitely created. The acting, the scenery, the timing, the true to Bible approach- the accuracy historically and ethnically- I love too all of the extra behind the scenes content - the back story on the characters, the actors, sets- and the soundtrack! Catchy catchy catchy! I donated twice to the causeand have outfitted myself with all of the merch- right down to the skull cap 😊 The energy here is contagious and the enthusiasm of Dallas- the director - and the crew is as interesting to watch as the content. Awaiting, as we speak, the premier of the second season this Easter Day, as I write this, and will look forward to the episodes that follow in this season. I expect to donate each season to do my part to pay it forward so as many people as possible can experience the love of Jesus. Thrilled to be a part of the Chosen Nation!!!

Inspired. I love Jesus with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and I’m trying to show it by loving my neighbor as myself. The Chosen is a beautiful tool. It doesn’t in any way replace my personal time devouring and meditating on God’s Holy Word each day. It hasn’t replaced my moment-by-moment prayer life with our heavenly Father. It isn’t my source versus relying on the Holy Spirit to convict, comfort, strengthen and lead me. It is, however, an inspiring way to see the Biblical text come to life. The Chosen seems to be an anointed, Heavenly Father-glorifying, Jesus-honoring, Holy Spirit-led, bathed-in-prayer series unlike any I have ever experienced. Our Creator God is a Wonder WORKER. He calls us to join him in the WORK He’s doing on an individual assignment basis. I praise The Almighty that He saw fit to gift each participant in this life-changing project with the special talents, abilities and hearts to serve Him and feed His lambs well. Thank you, one an all, and please remain faithful to the One who CHOSE you to do this, His WORK!

Unbelievable.. You feel as if you are there. You find yourself in these stories. It is so impeccably accurate to the Gospels while also using what I like to call a sanctified imagination to help connect us as the audience to the true character of all in these stories and especially Jesus. I’m always hesitant to watch Christian films or shows—they’re always cheesy, but this could not be further from that. I’m always resistant to watch someone try to portray Jesus because it always feels wrong, but this show draws no attention to the actor himself, but rather helps you see the true heart and character of who Jesus is played out and actually relating with people. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to read my Bible without seeing it through the lens of a show, but that hasn’t been the case at all. It has helped me see the Bible come alive off of paper. Watching this, you will laugh so hard. You will cry even harder, and you will find yourself falling more in love with Jesus, not a show.

The Chosen. What a beautiful show! As I watched It, I have to tell you that it brought tears to my eyes many-many times and must important, it made me realize of all the sacrifices that our Lord Jesus made to save us from sin so that we can all rest In peace in the house of God the father when we no longer be in this kingdom of earth. As someone who has been studying recently the many bible stories, I found it fascinating to be able to see this wonderful events to come live in the different scenarios with such a wonderful cast and direction. I have no words to express my gratitude to all the people involved in this wonderful project who have touched our hearts and lives with such great production which shows us that there are more important things in life than we previously thought that we should all become more human, soften our spirits and look deep within us for love, compassion, gratitude, humility, empathy, and must of all hope and faith in Jesus Christ our Savior who is the best example to follow.

LOVE IT!!!!!!. Originally I had seen some clips of The Christmas special years ago and some other previous work of Dallas that led up to The Chosen but for some reason didn’t really pick it up. Eventually I came upon it on YouVersion, and I found myself up past my bed time watching the episodes for S1. I got hooked so I downloaded the app and I have watched every episode that have out more than once, I have watched many extras and can’t get enough of the show. This does such a great job connecting people to God. Ever episode will have you crying, laughing, convicted and reminded of something that you’ve learned before yet puts it in a new light. If you hate Jesus, you will love Him as you watch. The way the designed the app is also great, user-friendly, colors are good, and you can see information like the progress of fundraising on future episodes, and countdowns to the next livestream. It’s a great way to connect with family all over the world.

Revival Coming Hooray!!!. I have watched the chosen series One 15 times and each time I do I catch another word or I see another scene or another action that I hadn’t noticed before. I know that the series - all seven of them but starting with number one is going to bring the revival that we have all been praying about for so long, Jesus is opening up our hearts to knowing Jesus the man and the apostles and what they experienced and what they may have really been like with Jesus. I love it! I am on series 2 now and I’ll probably watch that 10 times. I will never “NOT” want to see one of the chosen episodes on any of the series. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I thank God for bringing you to your trial so you and the company and the actors, artists and the staff and everyone who has donated to pay forward to help out everyone watch this show of shows - all around the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart- Vivian Hannigan, FL

Random thoughts. I haven’t been that religious since my Grand Parents died because I was just so mad. I was mad that he took my favorite people and I would never see them again. I always felt this weird warm and tingling feeling when I would think of someone from the past, especially them. My Gram-as I called her, would always bring us to church and promise donuts-so I was happy to sit there and not understand and get donuts after it was over. I always saw a guy in a suit collect money in a gold bowl and my grandparents would always put something in. I wish I could go back to those days and do a re-do but still be married with my husband.......I know I’m all over the place but I regret the mistakes and mean things I’ve done in my life but I have to be with my husband- he is awesome to me and I can’t believe life without him! I’m so thankful that you guys made a mini series and I can learn something my grandparents couldn’t teach me at the time. Also, my parents were religious but never went to church. They are still devoted.

Breathtaking… 5-5 Stars. Honestly I can say with all sincerity, out of all the actors I’ve seen playing Jesus, whether it may be from movies or tv shows (and I’ve seen them all) this is the best Jesus I’ve ever experienced. The narrative of the series captures the gospel in a way that seems all too believable. It’s as if they jumped into a time machine and went back to film it while it was taking place. My favorite scenes are the in-betweens. The parts that the Bible doesn’t mention because of the need to only capture the stories without the extra (what happened before and after). Even though these in-between scenes portrayed are not necessarily in the Bible (since the Bible can never hold enough room) you can’t help to believe that that’s what probably happened. The scenes in the series that are in the Bible are extremely accurate. Not to mention, the cast is spectacular. This show deserves to be nominated for a golden globe for series of the year. Please take time to watch and spread the word. The world needs to know the truth!

Covid. My husband and I have been very sick with Covid and it was hard to concentrate on anything. We couldn’t focus on reading our Bible because of the terrible headaches. But we decided to binge watch The Chosen and it brought such comfort as we watched with our eyes the scripture unfolding before us. It was healing balm to our weary, sick souls. It’s hard to say which one is our favorite! It’s like when people ask what’s your favorite book of the Bible, I always say “The one I’m reading!” It’s like that with The Chosen too! Being so sick and weak with Covid, the episode with the children around the campfire touched me deeply this time. I feel like a dependent child through this fight with this terrible virus! Like the children around the campfire I’ve been hanging on every word Jesus is speaking! How can I thank you enough for this opportunity to see the Bible come alive and feel Gods presence wash over me as I battle this infirmity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Cathy in East TN

Will increase your love for Jesus. I have never really experienced deep love here in this world from a man. It made me question my love for Jesus because not only did I not know what to compare it to, but to have it for someone I couldn't physically see has been confusing. The amount of uncontrollable crying and gratitude I felt in the scene where Jesus gets back from a long day of healing and how physically exhausted He was and the amount of pain He took upon himself just in that single day to heal us has shown me just HOW MUCH I DO love this man! That scene will be with me always and my relationship with Jesus has forever changed. THAT is why I am a slave to God and obey his commands, not because I have to but because I LOVE Jesus so incredibly much and so thankful for him, I just want to. Thank you all for all of those lives you've touched. Some new believers, but I have a feeling a lot were old believers who just needed this touch on their hearts. To remember just how much of a human Jesus was!!!

Jesus is Alive. 🛡🙌🏾He He Lives and his Grace and Mercy has allowed us all to live ! Glory Hallelujah in the Highest Of highs thank you Father God for moving into the lives of the entire production and cast of the Chosen the behind the seen crew cameras lighting catering 💪🏾🤗Jesus you’ve allowed them to make us all feel your presence even stronger after watching the Chosen it’s made be draw closer to you Lord📖🙋🏾‍♀️🔥 Jesus my faith is stronger it’s given me hope to know that Jesus is really the Son of the only living GOD ! Unique and interesting. I’ve watched a lot of Jesus movies, and I’m not the type to automatically like a movie/show because it’s Christians. I think shows should be judged by equal standards of story-telling, regardless of their message. But I have to say, this show keeps me interested in a way that other Jesus movies often don’t. It immerses you in the culture and customs of the time period, makes you think about what the lives of the characters were probably like by telling stories that are pieced together from the biblical details yet not explicitly told in the Bible, telling stories that are not simply re-hashes from other Bible movies. This show does not stray from its biblical source material, but it does tell stories you’re probably not used to seeing depicted on the screen. Also, the overall cinematic quality is better than many low-budget Bible movies, making the story come to life. Finally, I can watch Gospels with my motivation being actual interest, rather than feeling like I need to support another Christian cause.

Bless this show 🤍. My dad was put on hospice 3 days ago. I’ve been a Christian my entire life, well, I was raised in the church. But this is the “put your money where your mouth is” moment so to speak. Do I believe in God or do I not? I’ve been clinging to my faith more than I ever have before. God seems so far away in 2022. So many people rejecting Him, blaspheming against Him, blatantly disrespecting and reveling in demonic activities. My dad is slowly dying from cancer that’s destroying his body daily, and the grief is strong enough to carry me away on most days. My Bible and The Chosen are the only thing keeping me going. I know where my dad is going, and I’m so happy that He’s going to meet Jesus face to face, and his new life is going to be infinitely better than his earthly one ever was or could be. I’m so, so grateful to this show for providing comfort and peace, and the producer and everyone involved for creating this show. Thank you. 🤍🤍

Dear Lord, thank you!. I’ve always been a little bit of an oddball. Before I knew Jesus, I was the geeky/nerdy kid in class that hung out with the other misfits, or the guy at work that was just a little different. Now, I’m the oddball at church. I’m that guy that’s just a little different at work. Lol. It is so affirming to see your portrayal of Jesus with an actual personality. You know He had one. It’s just never really been talked about. I mean, come on, He created the whole personality thing in each and everyone of us. He did it on purpose. To be reminded that my simple straightforward outlook on life, my sense of humor, and my sarcasm are all given to me by God is very comforting. I may be many people’s oddball, but I am the person that God made on purpose. And that’s more than enough for me. Thank you my Lord for using this to remind me of that. May each and every one of you that are involved in this project be blessed beyond your understanding.

Knowing Jesus vs know About Jesus. I am trying to remember on how i did find this app but i cannot; but i am soo glad that i found it. I have watched so many stories about Jesus , heard about the stories & read my Bible about Jesus. I grew up in church & i am a preacher’s daughter. To make the long story short i became a prodigal daughter....but God....found me. I have never encountered Him growing up in church.. I thought my life was ok because my dad is a preacher. But God has a greater plans for my life. Jesus changed my heart & turned everything for my good. My past does not define me but God gave me a new name. Daughter of the King of kings. Every time i thought about Jesus’ love for me i get so overwhelmed. I see myself to some of the characters here when i watch this series “The Chosen”. I have always wondered before of what kind of a person or what kind of life they have before and after they meet Jesus. I cried to some of the episodes because it reminded when I met Jesus & got to know Him more as my Savior & Lord!! Thank you for making this series! Taking for pointing people to Jesus Christ! Your reward is in heaven! To God be all the Glory!

The greatest production of the greatest story ever told!. The production quality is everything you expect from a BIG budget film out of Hollywood. But beyond how well down it is, you don’t need to be a believer to enjoy this series. It has everything that makes a series binge worthy .. the cinematography, chemistry between characters, the acting, sound effects, music, drama and laughs that bring you into a show and relate to characters. Donations keep it going because it’s that good and it feels good to support a project putting love into the world. Those that can afford to donate understand it’s the quality of production that get people to watch. It’s a medium that can reach people anywhere, especially in less traveled places, and it makes it easier to connect the Bible’s word to the story when it can be viewed. We hope it continues beyond the (8?) seasons planned. It’s such a good story and told in such a relatable way, I never tire of watching.

Absolutely love it!. If you haven’t watched this yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. Yes, it’s that good. I found myself getting caught up in the characters, and wishing each episode was longer. This series portrays the life of Jesus through the eyes of those around him. I like the shows because it doesn’t sugar coat the message. We see the flaws in people, but we also see their strengths. I love how they portray the human side of Jesus, yet we never lose sight of his deity. It makes you so aware of why the inner group around Jesus called him Friend, as well as Savior. It’s amazing how Jesus called the disciples, each so different in personalities and backgrounds in some cases, and turned them into men that evangelized others so that the Good News continued to spread around the world. If the other seasons are as good as season one, it will be an informative, faith renewing journey that I can’t wait to take. It so makes me want to tag along with them on their missionary journey. I want to be able to call Jesus friend, and the disciples, friends.

New better understanding!. Good just got better! Of all the times reading and learning God’s word, sometimes we read only the ”important “ stuff letting the simpler straightforward things not well noticed. I was put on my head watching the Chosen as it brought back to mind the little things that Jesus did everyday for anybody, no matter their status, position, wealth or lack of. Jesus compassion for his creations with free wills, who seem to always make bad to worse decisions, are prime examples of God’s love for us wanting that no one should perish without his son Jesus. These lost and wayward sheep must be brought back to the fold, kept safe and sound by the guardian of the flock Jesus. I have started to read the little things and what Jesus was here for “For Them” whoever they were, and whatever they were doing! Truely, a great shepherd, and the Lamb of God! Watch this again and again, and let Jesus love and compassion flood your soul to overflowing for your fellow mankind, who by the way are in the same boat as your in! Thank you Jesus!

Come and see. The greatest “story” ever told is not a story at all, but a true depiction of the life of Jesus Christ! I have been a Christian for over 30 years, but I feel like this series is helping me see the Gospels in a completely new light, a more compassionate light, a more human light. I can pretty much guarantee I am crying at the end of every episode. This series has helped to humanize the disciples, Mary Magdalene, and mother Mary. What they all must have gone through to be in the position they were in, Oh my! I can only imagine mother Mary’s great joy in knowing she was God’s choice to be Jesus’ earthly mother and the great fear of knowing what that privilege would inevitably bring! All the disciples and their excitement of being in the presence of the Son of God and helping Him save souls. All mixed with the weight, fear, and consequences of trying to be worthy of that very privilege. I don’t know if I could do it! Thank you Dallas for what you and your crew are doing to further the Kingdom of God! I love this series and I am in great anticipation of season 3.
