This app is nice.. It really came in handy when we couldn’t find the remote at all! I deleted the app, and it still remembered the device I connected to. The app works as advertised, only issue is that they love to remind me that there is a premium subscription and the x button is kinda hard to find!

Not as good as it seems. I am disappointed because when you want to cast your photos you can only choose once and then you must restart the app to be able to choose another photo or video and also you do not have the option of being able to delete the photos that you have already seen and it is too late for me because I already bought the membership. 😞

Don’t waste your money!!. I paid the $20 for the premium and it doesn’t work!! It will connect to my tv, but the remote doesn’t work. I can cast videos to the tv, but no functions on the remote work. I bought the app a while ago and sent in this email before, and never heard from anybody. I found my remote and didn’t really think about it till now. My remote has stopped working so I remembered that I purchased this app. I’m going to post this to the reviews as well. Please get back to me.

Excellent… but only once connected. I wanted to use for 4 household QLED tvs around the home. Once connected the App is excellent. But when the TV is turned off the App drops the connection and you have to start again. Seems to only show 2 TVs at any one time. It would also be very useful if it was possible to name each TV rather than having to settle for the name arbitrarily assigned.

Had issues and reached out. I should have known something was up when the app said I tap the search for tv a “few” times. I bought this app because it came up when I searched specifically Samsung remote. However I can’t connect to my tv at all even after paying for pro. So I did what any reasonable person would. I emailed them directly through the the faq on there own page... that was ... 5 days ago...I would like a refund for you product that not only doesn’t work it would seem you support team is too busy?

Need Real Remote To Work! Not Worth $20!!!. You’re better off just buying a new remote! It does work with my Samsung Q7 -BUT- you still have to have a Samsung remote available to “allow” the app to connect in the first place. Which defeats the purpose of me downloading and paying $20 for this app. I only bought it because I lost my remote and figured I’d download this app to replace it. Unfortunately, it was useless until I got a hold of a real Samsung remote from a friend, to allow the app to connect to my tv. Then I found out that the app doesn’t even stay connected to the TV even after the “allow” step. I have to constantly allow connection for the app to work. Which means you need a real remote on hand... to allow a digital remote to control your TV but why would anyone need to download this app if they already had a real remote?! They wouldn’t. And the app itself doesn’t stay connected to the TV despite not needing the “allow” process. I find my self continuously having to close the app and then reopening it and then going through the process of searching and selecting my TV every time I exit that app to do something else on my phone or just close my screen. It’s too much of a hassle to use for $20. Worth more like 0.99 TOPS! A real legitimate Samsung remote costs even less than $20, with no constant fuss of reconnections needed. UGH!

Remote ok but not for the cost. It definitely works okay. The tv must be on for it to work. Every time you go away from the remote app it must reconnect with the app to work again so not great for pausing quickly. My other issue is that the keyboard doesn’t seem to connect with any streaming services. If I had know the issues I would have not purchased it for more then $5.00.

Disappointing. This was a $25 mistake. You have to reconnect every time you out your phone to sleep or switch to a different app on your phone, even if the remote app is running in the background. Plus, every time you reconnect you get a pop up asking you to download a different smart tv remote app that also costs $20+. The remote function works alright, but it’s too much of a hassle for what should be a simple application. And the price is just ridiculous.

PAID for the subscription and an doesn’t even work half the time. I paid for the subscription and a few days later it just wouldn’t connect to my tv. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and all it did was say “connecting to (my tv)” but would never finish connecting. other than that it works well only IF you pay for the subscription. if you don’t, it’ll work but you’ll have a bunch of ads.

Free Version. I have the free version and it works through your wi-fi connection between your phone and tv. They will need to be connected to the same network and you’ll need to allow your tv to give access to the app. BOOM magic!

Love that I can turn my TV on - get this one !. I went through the minimal process to connect to my TV with this remote, after trying several others. I can control everything on my 65 inch Samsung HDTV easier than using the real remote !!! Best free remote I have going in six years.

Asking for a review too soon. I have had your app for only a few moments and have yet to fully understand all its capabilities— I think you all need to program your review pop up for later timeframe so that the user of the app is able to get full use of it. I do appreciate getting control of my TV back as my Remote just stopped working out of no where and I changed batteries to brand new — so I do appreciate that the app is giving me access to the TV again — tho I do need more time to see how the app is working in its entirety. Cash grab of an app. I bought a Westinghouse tv with Roku on it. I found out there was a remote app. It’s free and does so much! It’s honestly a great app. So I then figured let me check to see if Samsung has an app for my living room Samsung. I found this gave it a download and then found out I can’t use this for free. I have to pay 20 bucks for something that has an interior design to something else that’s free. So why should I pay 20 bucks when my Roku has a free app that does more then this app. I’m very disappointed in this cash grab of an app. 20 bucks is way too high and thank you but I’ll pass

Paid $20 for what?!. Bought a brand new Samsung 7series a few weeks ago and was directed by the setup to download this app for convenience. Did so and then saw that there was $20 price tag. Not wanting to deal with ads every time I clicked a button in the app, I paid the $20. The app has had extreme difficulty connecting to, or even finding my tv from the start (again... thought it was an issue that the paid version would fix). Now with the latest update, the screen just goes black. Feel like I was scammed. I’ll never download/pay for an app like this again. TO THE DEVS: I paid my $20 for your service and your app is failing to deliver the promoted result. You need better fixes for problems other than “uninstall and reinstall the app” or anything else along those lines. When you update, it’s a pretty good practice to test things before releasing your update. Fix the problem immediately. As I see it, YOU/YOUR COMPANY/YOUR APP has breached the Apple store terms of service by failing to appropriately rectify customer issues as well as falsely advertising your product’s end result (and it’s obvious I’m not the only one). FIX THE D*MN APP I PAID TO HAVE AND MAKE SURE IT REMAINS OPERATIONAL HENCEFORTH!!!

Works pretty good... for a day. My kids (presumably) lost the remote for my TV yesterday. We have torn the house apart looking for it, no joy. After several hours of this, I went looking for an app that I could use until it is found or until the quarantine is lifted and I can go buy a decent universal one to replace it. Tried a couple others that did not work with my TV or had limited functionality, then stumbled across this app. It worked GREAT! That is, until 24 hours later, when it would no longer do ANYTHING except try to make me pay $20 to continue using it. Thanks, but no thanks, I'll find another app.

Great Remote...IF you leave it ON!!. I WAS planning to leave a really good review of this app (even if it cost $20 for unlimited use). I paid the unlimited use fee (for continual updates with no ads etc), and the remote really works great! I like the touchpad option and the position of all the buttons. But, then I noticed a problem where the remote stops working if it’s turned OFF (or if you switch to another app). As a result, I have to restart (or refresh) the remote app every time I go to a diff app on my iPhone (?) Really??? FYI: I’m using the newest iPhone iOS on an iPhone XMax. So, everything is “up-to-date”. My suggestion would be to either figure out a way for the remote to maintain a connection switching apps OR simply put a “refresh button” that allows users to reconnect quickly if they had to switch over to another app while using the remote, etc. BTW...I’m using Samsung 7 Series w/the remote.

Fix the problem of staying connected while switching app. Hey, Out of frustration, I bought this app when I lost my real remote. This app is promising and could even replace the real remote. The main problem for this is that the app doesn’t seem to stay connected when switching apps. I hope that this problem will be solved. Otherwise it’s a great app and everyone should buy it.

This App Does Not Work. I see in previous reviews that one has to exit out the app and renter it to use the remote but months later it still does not work. I couldn’t even use a button without paying for the app and to pay and have this is unacceptable. Please update this app so I don’t have to exit and reopen the app in order to use the buttons. To pay and have this is not ok. By the way, I wanted to email without having to write a review and the message kept saying it wasn’t sent. Thank you, a concerned customer.

Worked in a pinch - tip for Samsung smart TV. After tearing the house apart looking for our Samsung remote, downloaded this app out of desperation. I guess I wasn’t paying close attention because I paid $20 and thought it was free. Anyway...it has some cool features and it might be worth $20 if I didn’t have to keep reconnecting every time I wanted to adjust the volume or something. Tip for Samsung Smart TV- did you know there is a button on the back of your TV that works like a joystick? You can press to turn TV on or use as enter button (which you will need to connect this app) and press the edges to navigate. Press and hold to exit back to home. If I had known this I probably could have just used the button until I could find my remote and save $20.

Barely works. I paid $20 for this app and it NEVER connects or runs correctly. If you click off the remote app for even a second, you have to close the app and completely reopen it (hoping it eventually connects with the tv again) just to use it to make a switch or control anything! It takes me on average of 20 tries to even get it to connect or recognize my tv. I follow all of the instructions and it barely connects and stays working. Very disappointed!

Bullied into purchase. Remote could be better if you could actually use it without being hassled into purchasing the premium. If you are going to offer a remote, offer the basics. Channels, volume, the home button. Basic things that should come with a remote. And everything else can be offered at a premium. After a few clicks it stops working and just directs to the premium pay page. I would’ve absolutely purchased the lifetime remote if I didn’t feel bullied into it. The crazy thing is, the price is reasonable! I just dislike feeling forced into making a purchase. Also, I’m not sure if this is an issue because I hadn’t purchased the premium at that time but I also don’t like having to get permission from the tv to use the remote after I’ve already connected it to my tv. In order to answer the question I need the actual remote! Lol it isn’t helpful if I’ve lost it and that’s why I’m trying to use my phone smh lol.

Why the bad reviews?. This app is almost perfect. Works on all 3 of my Samsung TVs. Bought lifetime access. Yes, it does unpair when you’re out of the app for a while but the reconnection process is automatic and takes 5 seconds max. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to be able to control their TV from their phone. Only one request — please add a keyboard so we can type instead of just using the touch pad to spell out words on the TV.

Waste of money. Seemed like a good idea since I lost my remote SO I BOUGHT IT and then AFTER I BUY IT the tv says I need to remote to approve my phone using this. Here’s the issue, I LOST THE REMOTE. No I still have no way of using my tv and theory less dollars than to begin with. Restoring purchases button doesn’t work. Help me get my money back.🙁 Update: I searched for super long time and found my remote . I still want a refund tho. Help? 😅

An okay app. It’s okay if you wish to skip a physical remote, but it’s nothing special in my opinion. Especially for $20. A number of improvements could be made to make it worth the cost. My biggest requests: - change the screencasting feature to mirror the screen, not just videos from your personally recorded videos - a KEYBOARD for typing stuff like passwords or internet searches (you can only use a mousepad type feature or the hunt and click arrows, just like the regular remote)

Need to reconnect after every use. The whole purpose of getting this was because my bf keeps losing the remotes and to have a back up sometimes. Well you have to ask and accept permission from the tv every single time you turn it on or even if it’s just been a few hours. Needing a remote. I was gonna give it 5 stars because functionality and design is great but with this it’s practically useless. We’re missing one remote rn and If I want to use this one I literally have to pick up the remote and use it so what’s the point in switching to the phone. And the back and forth is so annoying. I would be less harsh with my rating cos the app itself is great but this sure wasn’t worth $40. Could’ve and should’ve bought another remote.

Won’t connect if u don’t got a remote. A bit disappointing ngl, we tried to use a smart remote because remote is broken and we are unable to find a replacement for the time being, we tried to use the app and once we tried to connect it but then a pop up came to the screen where we had to click allow, it is kinda hard to click allow with out a remote. So those who are in need of a temp remote, this won’t work for you, just go buy a new one instead of wasting time.

Perfect universal remote app. This is the perfect universal remote app for your Samsung smart tv. It’s easy to connect threw wifi and works very smoothly. I totally recommend this app to anybody in need of an extra remote for your tv. Although you do need the remote to the tv to allow the connection for security purposes.

Waste of $20. My stock remote carked out so I downloaded the free version of this app. Eventually it just completely blocked me out behind a paywall so I spent the $20 to unlock unlimited use with no ads thinking I wouldn’t need to spend the money a new remote so why not. Little did I know that switching to any other app on my phone would completely disconnect my TV to this app and not only would I need to reconnect but I have to completely shut this app down and open it again, refresh search a few times until it (hopefully) detects my TV and then reconnect. Don’t waste your money, just get a new remote

Lolol. Had this app for a while and finally decided to use with my Samsung Smart TV. Linked up quick and immediately asked me to subscribe to use it, lol. I figured I would try the free version before I have to subscribe and CONSTANTLY pay for it. App works like crap and extremely lagging. I hit the controls maybe (10) times and now can’t use it unless I subscribe. Very simple fix… replace batteries and use the stock one that came with the TV, and free up space on phone by deleting app. Bye Felicia

DONT BUY SCAM!!!!!. I was looking for a remote I can use for my tv and got this one. Had to buy a plan before I could even see it (this should have been my first clue). Got the app but was charged $45 not the $29. Remote doesn’t even work with my tv. Went to help and sign says not available. Went to App Store to get help from Apple and site says problems connecting (tried another app and had no problems getting to report problems. SO DO NOT BUY!!!! Will change if I get money back.

What a mess. You know you have gone down the wrong road with choosing an app when, after the app has demonstrated that it doesn’t work at all, and after discovering that the only things on the “Settings” menu have nothing to do with setting any functionality of the app itself, you use the app’s function to send an email to support and when you touch send to submit your message the app locks up completely, blocking you from reaching any such support. Some things might not be worth a few dollars, but not being worth free is a total fail.

The only remote I could find that actually works!!. This app works great and makes it simple to connect to your smart tv. No more searching for the remote when you are half asleep and it’s too loud or you want to turn it off. Very convenient!!!! 10/10

Rarely used but now it won’t connect. I loved the idea of this remote because I’m always losing my physical remote or it’s just not conveniently located. My cell phone is always close by. I used this app about 2 weeks ago without a problem. But for the last two days, it won’t connect to my tv. I try to connect, and I see the message on the TV that I need to approve it. I click approve and it looks like it worked. A few minutes later it says it never connected. I’ve tried about 10 times now and I’m giving up. I had hoped that there was an update for me to this app that I needed to apply, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. 😢

BUYER BEWARE. We’ve gotten used to having phone remotes with our Roku so it seems to work fine. But for $20 this doesn’t work half as well as the free Roku remote. if you can’t click into the search bars and type on the keyboard from your phone, what is the point!? Update: after several days of trying to use this app, it’s completely worthless. It won’t connect or stay connected. It doesn’t see the TV most of the time. It needs to be authorized FROM THE PHYSICAL REMOTE which makes having a secondary remote useless. The functionality is poor. And on top of it, the section of your webpage to report problems or questions is broken, which means you know it’s a bad app. Have requested refund.

Can’t even set up WiFi. This app allows you to use the directional pad and access the basic buttons on any normal remote. However, without paying for a membership, you’re only allowed a certain number of clicks before you’re locked out and the “pay for a lifetime membership” screen pops up and the remote won’t work. Couldn’t even use this app to connect my TV to the internet. I understand ads for a free app, but not allowing your customers to use the remote for more than about 10 clicks is ridiculous.

Cannot find the 123 button. I purchased this app for 20 usd, and it seem to be buggy. It seem to freeze when I switch from the App to another. I need to then kill the app and restart, not convenient. I also cannot find the 123 button so I can type in a channel and go direct instead of having to scroll down a pile of channels. Please advise if there will be a fix for this.

Save your money….. Bought this for the lifetime price because I have two Samsung monitors and was immediately disappointed. My new 32” wouldn’t connect through the setup guide broadcast on the screen. Bizarre because it tells you to download the “pay-app.” And yes it’s on the same network. However I have a 65” and the “pay-app” saw it right away. Unfortunately this app crashes on a minute by minute basis. Especially when you start to mirror or cast. Super frustrating. Save your money and stick with Samsung remote (which unfortunately is super small and you’ll need Childrens fingers).

Joke.. The app works fine for a few minutes and then it tells you have to pay for six dollars a week. For a remote control! What a waste of time. Ridiculous. Just charge me a dollar or two. Let me use the stupid app with ads. Why do you even have ads if you can’t use the app?

Easy to use. This app was easy to use. From download to use it took less than 90 seconds. My only problem with this app and others apps like it is that you can only set it up if you know where your remote is. If you’ve already lost your remote, this app won’t help you.

Ambient Mode Button?. I downloaded the smart remote app for my Samsung Q90 in order to use the photo background function of the ambient mode on my TV. Once I paired the remote with my TV, there was no ambient mode button to choose from within the app. I was able to download photos to the TV cast tab within the app, but that doesn’t give me the full functionality of displaying multiple pictures when I access the ambient mode on my TV through my actual TV remote.

Samsung service Frank. Frank was very accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to the options I have to utilizing my Samsung tv. He helped me out a great deal and told me about connecting my phone with my Samsung tv through smartthings. I am impressed with the efficiency and quality of service he provided me! Great remote app. I tried a lot of these for my smart TV I like this one best of all. It has a awesome fresh look I love the option between a track pad and arrow interface. The trackpad is a bit sensitive I like the arrow pad best. All of these the remote apps have constant ads making them all near useless. So if you’re going to need to pay for it so you can get rid of the ads this one is well worth the money!

Easy to Use and Fast Connection. As long as you turn the TV on and your phone and SmartTV are on the same Wifi Network, it connects in less than a minute. Well worth the download to not pay $30-$50 for a new replacement remote control.

Amazing. I originally downloaded it when I lost my remote so I couldn’t click accept but I found it shortly after and was able to accept permission to use the app. my kids lose the remote all the time so this app is super helpful when I cant find the remote 😅

So far, so good. Great app, would get 5 stars, but 30 dollars for a remote app is a lot, I could get like 3 actual remote controls for the house with that. Will upgrade and purchase lifetime premium too 5 stars if I see a more fair price, in my opinion 15 bucks maybe, and that’s if the app works flawlessly. But so far good app just not really fair for something you don’t even physically have in your hands.

Stops working after a few days. This worked great for a few days while I look for my real Samsung remote that is misplaced. However on day 3 the app refuses to work when I press any buttons the app tries to force me to purchase the monthly "premium plan" for $6 a month. Who the heck pays for a tv remote control every month? That's dumb. I could maybe understand a small one time fee but not a monthly charge as if this is a service and I will never find or replace my physical remote!?!

Don’t download unless willing to pay the $20. I recently downloaded this app to use until I could get a replacement remote as mine has been messing up. However the app Is designed for the paying customer and not someone willing to watch ads. The app within 10 minutes of downloading stopped working unless I paid the 20 dollars, when looking on the FAQs for this app the developers notated there is limited use allowed for non paying customers. Question to the devs what makes your app superior, justifying a 20 dollar price, over buying a replacement Samsung branded remote for less than 10 dollars with all the bugs other reviews have brought up?

Don't even bother. This is literally the worst remote app. I need my tv remote to be able to connect it to the tv. I'm what circumstances would I need a tv remote app if my real remote worked. You get about 6 free button presses, then it tries to charge you. Don't waste your time

Do not use or purchase the extra. Paid thousands for my Samsung TV I assumed I could get a remote for free. Nope. Downloaded this one as recommended on Samsung website. The ads so brutal I purchased the unlimited version for over $35. Worked or a day then “referred” me to a secondary app to start the process all over again. I’ll be reporting this app and demand my money back. Samsung should have free remote apps for TV!!!

Literal garbage. I can’t believe I bought this for $50. Have a question for someone in the room and want to turn down the volume ? That’ll be a quick 10 minute start up on the app before you can access any of its buttons. Even if that app had just been opened and in use… that alone was enough for me to go and purchase a handheld remote.

Useless app. You can not use it without subscription so you can not evaluate it before paying 35 dollars. Do not download it and waste you time.

App is no good. Doesn’t connect to my tv at all. Contacted technical support and they tell me “they’re away, leave a message and they’ll get back to me”. At pretty much $40 that is not acceptable.

Does not connect most of the time. Crazy price for an app that is often asking me to pair with my TV (over and over). I feel like an absolute idiot having paid that much for that app. It’s obvious that there’s zero investment been made in this app in reliability, UI, or UX.

Garbage. Downloaded and paid the $30 for lifetime updates so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. Worked once, now it doesn’t see my tv and when I try to get it to search for it, asks me to download another smart tv app and pay another $30.... useless

Keyboard. I like the app, except for the lack of a keyboard to type what I want to search... why did I pay for an app to help me use my tv, and now I still have to use my remote to type??

Absolutely useless. Does not find Samsung Q80 when in any mode other than TV plus and even then it is a bit touch and go. Cost over 34 CAD and yet every time you try it there is a pop up message to buy 'smart remote' for another 27 CAD.This is the most complete waste of money. Should be illegal. Come on Apple, this doesn't come close to reaching the bar.

Awful. Works for a couple mins then won’t let you control tv without a premium subscription I press one button and a pop up thing that says “Get premium” gets in my way.

App not working with my tv.. I there, how do I get a refund for this app purchase as the app does not work with my Samsung smart tv...it connects to the tv and once in the app no functions work.

Terrible. I bought this app only to find out it didn’t even turn the tv on and when you close the app, you have to go back and refresh it before using it. It stopped working today even after I refreshed it. Please don’t buy this app.

Works seamlessly. Started it up right away and had no issues using it.

Reconnect poor. I found this app difficult to connect, constant attempts were made before it finally connected. When I went back into the app, it had disconnected from my tv and wouldn’t reconnect. I have a Samsung frame. Very frustrating.

Smart Remote App not convenient to use. Hello , I downloaded smart remote app to use as remote for my Samsung TV and paid for lifetime today . After using it , I realized that it’s not convenient to use as remote and looking to get refund . After switching off the tv , I am not able to use as remote to on the tv again and it ask me again to allow through Samsung remote to pair the app again . Please help how to get refund 27 CAD . Garbage. I accidentally paid for the full version of this app. Now it won’t even connect to my tv! Don’t waste your money! NOW it keeps needing to be verified by clicking ALLOW on the regular remote, which defeats the purpose of having an app on your phone to do it. NOW it also keeps trying to get me to go to another “ free” app that is a monthly subscription!!! NOT OK! I want my money back, am going to contact Apple

Super Easy - life saver. Has been constantly falls asleep with the remote control, and I can never find it. This was a lifesaver no more tirelessly looking for a loss, remote control down in the couches or around the house.

Remote lost. This app is so easy I literally just download it less than five minutes ago connected to my TV and I’m allowed to get on my smart TV without any complications. Watching Netflix as we speak :)

Start over. I have to find the TV each time I open the app How can I turn on a TV if the TV has to search for my phone each time and then once it finds my phone I’m asked each time if I want to pay monthly for more service. You all should pay me for the free service I use that takes me five steps to enjoy the free service

User friendly. It had taken me less than 30 seconds to connect this virtual remote to my Samsung TV using the same network.

Doesn’t Stay Connected. Once launched, one would ASSUME the app should stay activated. Nope. Not with this one. Within less than a minute or so, connection to the TV is dropped, forcing you to go through the initial process of recognizing your TV and pairing up with it again. Every. Single. Time. This should have been mentioned up front in the product description. I consider this a deception. I failed to read the reviews before I paid my $20 for this app. I can’t use it the way it is and I’d like my money back.

Works great as long as you don’t need it. I usually do my research before buying an app, but I had misplaced my physical remote and purchased this so I would always have a remote no matter what. Unfortunately this only works if you don’t need it, and is useless without the physical remote to allow access to the tv. I have used the roku remote app for this purpose and it’s great. This is not- total waste and I feel scammed. Should taken more time to read reviews and not just trusted the description for developer. Lesson learned

So far good for a free remote app!. I had previously downloaded 3 top “free” remote apps and they all had that subscription fee but this app shows to work without having to do a subscription and I’m loving it!

For an expensive app, is useless.. Save your money, this app is worthless, you need the original remote to get it to work, but if you are buying this because your original remote doesn't work or is lost, it's pointless to buy (at an expensive price for an app)and even when you manage to winch with your tv, you have to manually turn on your tv and restart the app every time you want to change channels. TRASH.

You get 30 seconds of use, Then it won’t do anything else.. Remote started bugging out friday. Can’t get the OEM Samsung remote without ordering it. No problem downloaded this app just to try and make due for the weekend. You get it all connected and it works good, Until it pops up and ad for premium service about 30 seconds in. You click X and try and use the remote and it does it again, and again, and again. Not possible to use it without purchasing. Downloaded another app that actually works. $35 or $6/month is more expensive then the remote itself I don’t see how this is any kind of a deal.

Simple Connection!. Works perfect. Tv remote volume down button stopped working. Now connected with Sonos System so needed ability to turn volume down with a remote. Works like a charm

App is ok. Works fairly well, two things that I would love to see though, First, a fix for the app disconnecting from tv after a while of idle time during watching show or movie. Second, a keyboard feature for typing in search boxes etc. would make life sooooooo much better.

First time user. I loved the step by step easy to follow instructions. My little children loose the remote ten times a day. Now this allows me to have complete control 24/7

If I could give it -5 stars I would.. I have never deleted a app so fast. You can’t press a button more than once without it pulling up a add or it trying to sell you premium. I seriously couldn’t do anything without something being pulled up. I get wanting to make money and advertise but if you want people to actually use your app maybe you shouldn’t try to shove adds down there throat to the point the app isn’t even usable. Worst app I’ve ever used.

Deceiving pop up subscription window. Was installing a new TV, and downloaded this (free) app by accident. As I was going through the initial settings, the very deceiving window appeared asking about updates. Thinking I was clicking to agree to download the latest updates, it was only after that I realized I had just agreed to pay $20 to be able to receive updates. :-(( Again, I didn’t really want this app, and I didn’t ever mean to pay $20. But now I’m stuck. So please be aware!

Buy a different brand!. Horrible Experience. Called support just to waste over an hour of my time being insulted by support staff. Rep told me that I had to have something plugged into the optical plug which I didn’t! After remote login and repeating the exact same steps multiple times, the remote still doesn’t connect! So much for a “Smart” TV! Just paid $2800 for a piece of junk! Q60R 82”. I understand pairing technologies can have issues, but treating your customer poorly is unacceptable!

Works seamlessly. We’ve download several apps because we constantly lose the remote. None of those ever worked so I was extremely hesitant and skeptical about this one. This one works perfectly!

Needs more functionality for $20. Recently downloaded the app and it seems like a decent app with the exception of two big things. I would want this app to stay connected to my tv somehow and also, and almost most importantly, it would be nice to have a keyboard pop up on my phone when typing things in to avoid individually having to select letters.

Worked great for awhile. Now doesn’t work at all. I bought the lifetime use for $20. I used it for months with no issues. Since the latest update of the app, I can no longer connect to my tv. Instead, it prompts me to download a completely different app that is trying to charge me another $20 for the lifetime use. Pretty mad that I spent $20 for an app not to work after 6 months of use. Tried to contact support and my message would not go through. Would love a refund or the app fixed.

Very Poor Product. First you have to have your TV powered on to use it - meaning I can’t turn the TV on with the app. Isn’t that a fundamental function of a remote? Almost any time I’ve been watching a program for more than 5 minutes and I want to use the app nothing works. I have to close the app and open again to discover the TV again to get it to work again. My mobile phone and TV are within 10 feet of my wireless ap so it’s not a connection issue. Can’t believe I wasted my money on this.

I just downloaded this app so I don't know what to say but if you lost your remote you can't connect to it you need to allow your phone to connect otherwise it's perfect and good to replace your remote so far idk what to say but it pretty good so I'll see

Don’t download this!. This App is absolutely trash. It doesn’t work. You need to search for your tv repeatedly even if your phone and tv are on the same wi-fi and when you finally do have them synced the actual remote won’t display on your phone. The biggest and dumbest thing about this app is , most of you want to use your phone because you can’t find your actual remote or Samsung remote is broken , 😒 you still need your remote to even attempt to use your phone as one.

Love it!. Very handy when I fall asleep on the couch and can’t seem to find the remote, but the phone is next to me. That way I can turn it off to go to bed or turn it down and go back to sleep.

Instant paywalls. Just moved into my new apartment and of course can’t find our remote. I turned the volume up, it got too loud, as soon as I tried to turn it down I was hit with a paywall. No, I’m not paying 4.99 weekly to control my tv temporarily until we are completely unpacked. If you’re needing a remote, you’re better off downloading a different app while you wait to find your remote or get a new one.

Disappointed and not worth it. I had the free version that I used often when the kids lost the remote on the old tv 2016 but version l is slow, confusing, and I keep having to restart for it to work. I only bought it because I thought it was required to use the casting. Big mistake. Hopefully they fix the bugs, etc to make it worth the money. Otherwise just make sure you protect your remote and keep using that

Awful, SCAMMM!!. I lost my samsung tv remote, so i decided to give this app a try. I payed $30 for the unlimited version of the app, it worked for a good two minutes and then everytime i went into the app it crashed and brought me back to my home screen. I powered my phone completely off and got into the app, only for it to tell me it couldn’t find my tv to connect to. I then exited out of the app and went back in simply for it to crash again. I want a refund.

Eh it’s alright, minor improvements. I bought this app because I needed an immediate replacement for my remote control. I thought an app could replace my tv control forever. I got to try a few feature on the app before my free trail was over. Long story short: the app isn’t worth it. There’s a couple issues: You have to consistently pair the device and the tv -creating an issue where you can’t turn on the tv You need to consistently tap on the volume button to lower the volume, instead of holding the button down like you would a normal tv control. There’s a lot of promise but it’s far from the money I paid.

LG/Samsung. I don’t really have any problems with my Samsung tv but I don’t like the little tiny cursor they’ve got for the LG tv. I’m not if that’s an TV problem or remote but the cursor idea doesn’t work well because it doesn’t move smoothly like a mouse. It takes forever to use and sometimes it doesn’t even respond which is super frustrating.

Scams you into paying for a subscription. When you open the app before paying for a subscription you see three subscription options. One says “3 day free trial and then weekly after” but when you click that option, it turns out you have to buy a weekly subscription in order to get the 3 day free trial. Super scummy. If they had been more clever or less jerk with it I might’ve let them have my $5. Not today. Get rekt

Disappointed for $30.-. I purchased this when my actual remote was lost and thought it would be handy when ever this tends to happen. So I sent the $30. for the lifetime membership for use. At the time when it was originally installed and set-up it worked great, now months later the app will not work with the same tv when we lost the remote again. So Disappointing for $30.-

This one saves me so much trouble.. The old app I used always failed to connect to my tv when it is clearly connected to the internet. Will update after a while.

So far so good. It’d be nice if it controlled the sound bar as well but otherwise a nice convenient option to the standard remote. Especially those times where the couch or dog may have temporarily eaten it.

Sam remote. Worth the money lol makes it so convenient to always have a working remote on my phone. Highly suggest it for anyone even just as a backup for your regular remote.

THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED!! I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. My controller to the TV was always either impossible to find or always needing batteries. Well thankfully we had third party that only worked for pushing enter and we were able to connect the app and BOOM WIN BABY!!!

Every sing tap brings up an ad to buy the product or download another product they sell that goes to a dead link in the App Store. So, it literally does nothing. Combine that with the terrible reviews from the people who actually paid $20 for the app, and this has become useless with the last couple of updates. Such a shame.

Great!. It’s a great app because I lost my remote and looked for it for a month and after every single app I tried didn’t work except this one. It connected automatically and worked perfectly.

It keeps crashing when I try to do anything. When I tried to connect to my buddy’s tv he denied permission as a joke and it caused the app to crash. Now anytime I open the app it kicks me out. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded multiple times, turn my phone all the way off and on again, and it still keeps crashing. I’m sure it’s not issue many would face, but it’s really frustrating

Deceptive Advertising. Just purchased a 6 series 4K UHD LED TV to replace my fairly older Sony 1080p. You would think that an app for the Manufacturer’s own product would have some form of basic function. You might as well say premium is required to use the app longer than 10 minutes (After watching multiple commercials). Every function literally loops to a premium upgrade screen after. $20 is an excessive price for an remote app, especially coming directly from the manufacturer of my new tv.

Great App. Downloaded the app, followed the auto prompt instructions and I am now able to control every tv in my home from my devices. So far the app is running extremely well.

It works well!. All I had to do was download app and it connected to my tv via WIFI! no entering anything! Just be connected to the same WiFi name! So convenient since my remote broke.
