Beginner to advance 🔥. I’ve never traded in my life. Never understood, or thought I had the capacity to do so. Kraken pro, however has made the process very easy to native. You can customize your profile, favorite assets and add alerts. The fees are minimal, and you can easily edit entries. Only change I would add would be being able to have a stop loss and take profit on the same trade. Currently, you have to pick one or the other. I wrote to kraken help, and they said it’s in the works down the road.

Our Elections. It’s a database collection that can be used, but not limited to, swerve an AMERICAN Election! After going through the verification process of photographing and uploading your identification to them, you are further instructed to take a photographed photo of yourself holding your identification and a handwritten letter uploaded to them. You are then emailed for security purpose that your account is closed with a statement of,”Please note that your are not allowed to use our service anymore and thus, any attempt to open new Kraken account(s) will also result in account closure.”

Kraken. Probably the best app that people from the US can use. Much better than Coinbase, though Coinbase’s offerings are improving. Not nearly as good as real Binance or Kucoin. Much better than the crappy US version of Binance or FTX. For someone from the US, this is probably the best out of the bad options since we have a government that is trying to stifle financial innovation and an SEC head that doesn’t know crypto from a hole in the ground. The worst part of this app is that the good crypto isn’t available like CFG and GLMR. But that’s more Gensler’s fault than Kraken. Maybe someday the US Goverment will wake up and realize that the decentralized economy will happen with or without us and, basically, we are going to get left in the dust while all the opportunities materialize in other countries. If we had some reasonable laws that gave Americans access to the deepest liquidity and lifted restrictions on airdrops and other financial opportunities, at least for accredited investors at the bare minimum, then that only gives us a chance of success in the new economy, not even a guarantee, just a fighting chance instead of no chance at all. The US cannot stop crypto, they can only make sure that all the best crypto opportunities happen to non-Americans and make sure that Americans are neither competitive nor successful.

Customer service experience. This review is not written in hast or irrationally and i hope it will be used as a tool to help someone make an informed decision based on an actual experience by a current customer. This company customer service is nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and get coinbase or exodus. There is no way to talk to an actual person. You have to submit a support ticket and there is no automatic reply stating they are working on it or anything to reassure you they are competent to handle the volume they are receiving. The online assistant is not working in fact I don’t think i have ever seen it actually working. It will tell you what they are currently experiencing a high volume of support tickets and cannot get back to you. If they are receiving so many support tickets that they can’t respond to you, what do you think the majority of experiences using the site are?

TURN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN. Summary: they lost my wire xfer; terrible support, take money elsewhere. I downloaded and verified myself with two exchanges simultaneously, one being Kraken. Since this is a warning for others and not an endorsement, I won’t mention the other exchange other than to say I’ve had no issues yet. I issued a wire transfer using one of their preferred options, which went through on my bank’s end without issue. However, no funds have reached my Kraken account. After contacting the Kraken bank, I was told they could offer no support and only Kraken support can help. Well, Kraken has no phone support. Email only. Very slow responses (multiple days) and no luck finding my money (yet). Kraken, redeem yourselves and fund my account with my missing money.

Great crypto selection and staking but why on earth no ACH deposit?!. I currently use several apps for crypto and I really want to like kraken due to all the positive online reviews and seems like where the more serious traders do business. However, in my first experience it’s an absolute nightmare and expensive to fund through a wire transfer. Their customer support answered me promptly in chat and walked me through the wire transfer setup process. Customer service was very helpful and spent a decent amount of time solving my problem which ended up being me just misunderstanding the setup since Texas only has one option. All in all the app does what it is meant to do well, my only reason for not giving 5 stars is due to not having other funding options.

Excellent App for Americans. Kraken is an exchange just like Coinbase and Binance. It’s a great option for someone looking to buy their crypto from a safer, more reputable and more professional shop than 99% of existing exchanges. Coinbase+Kraken has been an excellent combo for me as a user in the US. Kraken has many trading pairs that Coinbase does not offer, and although Kraken doesn’t offer interest/staking on any coins, it’s not a bother to me since you’ll almost always be able to get the highest interest from your coins on-chain using DeFi, not off-chain sitting in Kraken/Coinbase accounts. 4 stars only because of lack of complexity and more advanced features. If you’re looking for a well-run and trustworthy exchange, kraken is a 5/5 and will get you far. I actually think it’s a better business decision to ignore NFTs and all the extra cr*p, frankly, that Coinbase has expanded into. But, I think Kraken could do a little more to make the product more three dimensional, unless leadership specifically doesn’t want that. It would be great if Kraken offered a slightly above market interest rate on USDC, or offered staking on pairs that Coinbase doesn't

Kraken Crypto Exchange #1 on my top 3. Most secure, quick exchanges, eye appealing format and many options that an individual can work with on the site. Gave 4 stars for only one issue… not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but honestly on multiple platforms and this is the only one that keeps opening up a new window when selecting the exchange option, funding and most of the categories that I choose from. Like I mentioned earlier, Never had any issues with any other platform. So when doing a comparison, this is the only site I have that particular issue. Besides that, I love the platform.

Terrible!. Terrible programming. Terrible QA. Sometimes you can’t hit the buttons because they are below the safe area. The table view on open orders caches orders filled and when you touch then the app crashes. Sorting is broken. Filtering is broken. Worst iOS app I have seen on a company this size in a long time. This is a financial app, you can’t have orders showing to a user that have already been filled. And when I place an order and it is a margin order, why clear the screen and set it to spot every single time. And why clear the price? Why clear direction? Most traders on a pro app will create ladder orders. This is NOT a very good user experience. I’m available to lead the iOS team… I would have never let this garbage hit the App Store. C’mon Jessie…

KRAKEN STEALS and they BOT Customer Service. Please stay away! Kraken steals from its customers! I opened a new account two weeks ago and have been having nothing but problems from day one. The format is not user friendly. It’s literally a mess trying to navigate. They use multiple windows to open with redirected links. You get 2 courtesy humans. Every correspondence following is with a BOT! You can or get a person! I wired 7k to my account but was locked out of my account because they said I have a broken USB! It was new! I told them I have a YubiKey. They told me it was broken! They made me fill out 3 tickets and to wait for an email. I did what they said. I waited a day and they never sent me and email! I contacted the bot that told me it was Googles fault that I didn’t receive an email! They have not sent any new emails! I still cannot get access to my wired funds! They just stole 7k and I didn’t even get to purchase anything!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Best trading rates and best QUICK app. I trade a LOT (like million plus a month) and this is my go to app. The more you trade the lower your commission cost is. I used to use Abra and Coinbase and they are rip-offs as far as I’m concerned. They charge like 2% and my percentage is with Kraken is only .12, a TENTH of what I was paying. ALSO I can log in, do stop limits to protect from a big loss and be done trading in <30 seconds. Also bank transfers and so much more. It is the industry standard as far as I’m concerned. Good job guys at Kraken!!! Keep it independent and keep on keep’n on! Thank you.

Good APP but... First I’ll start by saying I love this app. You can watch certain stocks unlike Coinbase pro. But with the good comes the bad. I only rated 4 stars because it’s so difficult to upload your bank account. You have to have a wire transfer to kraken then wait 72hrs to be verified. With my bank they charge $20 for every wire transfer. I know this may just be a me problem but there needs to be another way. So I will not use this app because of that. If there was an easier way to link your account then I would rate 5 stars and begin trading with. Until then I have to stick with CB pro and stay disappointed.

Works great w ONE exception. Everything works flawlessly with ONE exception. There is a delay in updating your balances and positions when you first open the app. Delay is about 10 seconds, give or take. Not a huge deal but worth noting. There have been times when I pulled up the app when I first awake in the morning, where it shows me my long position was doing really well (for example), only to change 10 seconds later to show that this position had actually been closed out over night. I would give the app 5 stars if they improve that refresh rate, but otherwise no complaints.

Worst crypto app ever. This is literally the worst app for cryptocurrency! That is not an over exaggeration. One there is no point of contact. You never want to put your money in a place where you cannot reach anyone! The chat is always busy. It takes weeks to get a hold of someone to email you back! There is no phone number to call! If you can’t get a hold of who has your money you don’t need to deal with them! Second, they don’t like you do wire transfers. This is how they make money! $25 per transaction because they won’t allow bank transfers, which are free! There is another sign not to put your money in this horrible app. Third, this is the worst app to navigate! There always new pop up and those pop up sign you out your account then you have to go back to your account to sign in and start over. It confusing and frustrating. Fourth, you can’t create an account on the app! This is stupid! The point of having an app is having immediate access to the information you need. Most things you have to do on a computer. Fifth, it takes weeks to set up your account! Each step of verification takes days! One day for a starter verification. 5-6 business days for the intermediate verification and a week at least for Pro. And you can’t complete the next verification until the first one is done.

Kraken has come a long way!. I used Kraken in 2017 for my first real dip into crypto. Shortly after opening my account and transferring in some money and crypto I ran into an issue where my funds disappeared. The 4 week process of dealing with customer service in an attempt to recover my crypto while the market was “mooning” was so bad I thought I would never come back to their exchange. Fast forward to 2021, I decided to give them another chance and realized I had lost my 2fa and master key. In this case I was able to recover my account in the same day with only two quick emails. I’m very impressed with how far kraken customer service has come and the tools and charting are some of the best imho... I’m back! Let’s stack sats!

Great Exchange. Although they don’t have a big variety of crypto currencies, but they are very secured exchange especially when there is a big hacking activities in the crypto space. I have been using Kraken since 2020. It was born 10 years ago or more, didn’t had any issue with liquidity and didn’t go under water like what we see in the last 2 years like FTX, Voyager, etc. regarding the security it is one of the top exchanges In security buy providing multi layer security. I definitely recommend them.

BEWARE!! Read below!!!’ Do not use this broker. My girlfriend wired 100,000 usd from her bank account and she followed the rules and she aired the 72 hours to then transfer out to another wallet. After the 72 hours they made her verify her identity through email by taking selfie’s and holding her ID and sending ig back. They then didn’t let her transfer out. The next day they then said that they are closing her account for reasons they can not explain!! She tried to reach out and the chat disabled twice. There’s no phone number and supposedly the company is out of New Jersey. This all seems like a nightmare. They told me withdraw my money back to Her bank in cash within 72 hours which will cause her to lose approximately 11,000 due to bitcoins current value. So they will not allow her to transfer bitcoins to another wallet even though she owns the bitcoins in the exchange which sounds like one big scam!!!!

Terrible customer service and glitch that took all my funds. I have been waiting for a week for their customer service support to get back to after I transferred money to my bank and my money still hasn’t gotten there. Their chat bot that is supposed to help is never online, have sent numerous emails and heard nothing. I was also liquidated for all of the ethereum, cardano and chainlink I had on the app as a result of the glitch that caused ethereum to drop to $700. I had a long trade open and would have been fine if not for that sudden crash that only happened on kraken and no other exchange. As a result they took all the money I put in. And I repeat, this is the only exchange that has that drop to $700. It has made me extremely hesitant to trade on there again. They also said they were offering refunds to help people that had been hit by massive loses but this is a lie, I did not receive any kind of help or refund from them.

Surprisingly easier to use than website. The Kraken website is very complicated and confusing but this APP is much easier to use and robust! But it’s still a bit more complicated than Coinbase PRO (black). I like Kraken for its low fees comparable to Coinbase PRO. And it’s HUGE assortment of 200+ crypto’s to choose from compared to Coinbase s 40+. If you like to trade get this APP if you just wanna buy and hold and want ease and simplicity and don’t mind paying 3% plus market rates, get Coinbase (Regular Blue), which is good for grandma or noobs. I have all 3 and they all got pros and cons.

Great App For Crypto. Invest now for your future! Kraken has problems depositing your money into your account. Unfortunately the only way you can put your money in your account is to use a Fed wire from your bank. Even though your bank puts your account number on The fed wire if the person at the bank doesn’t enter your account number a specific way on the fedwire in the right box the money sent does not reach your account. You have to bug customer service then they tell you send the receipt and after they find your deposit they tell you they have to get their technical team involved to put your money in your account but there is no set time frame when this will happen. Basically a bunch of BS! They need to get their s - - t together this is a lot of money in my case 10k. Been waiting 2 days for tech. They say they processed the Money and are waiting their tech people. Not the way you want people to play with your hard earned money. They have no ACH transfers this is the only way. They need to look at how Robinhood lets you deposit money or any regular bank. Almost all banks allow online transfers free now.

100 times better than coinbase. It appears to me folks are getting paid to leave poor reviews in this platform. Probably coming from CB. Coinbase is terrible. The support never responds and they close your account for now reason. There is a serious lack Of accountability and transparency with Coinbase. Kraken has been awesome. The support is stellar and timely and their staking interest is much better than CB who overcharges for everything. Also, Kraken literally has 10 times the security features as CoinBase. Of you want a platform that doesn’t let you truly trade and overcharges you for everything stick to CB. Kraken may be a less sophisticated interface but it’s 10 times the solution CB is.

Hate the upgrade Krapken. This recent 2021 'pro-version' upgrade is a total downgrade. Kraken's website UI is awful, now the app can match. (Their other listed Kraken 'non-pro' app is used mostly for data collection.) The new app upgrade has no privacy feature so your balances are boldly displayed. Still no way to stake or send from the app. They've removed customization shortcut options in a severely unintuitive user interface, which is crucial for time-sensitive trading, yet somehow managed to incorporate ugly color schemes, and, wait for it: minimalist charts *sigh*. They also stopped displaying prices for restricted-region coins that I already own, so now I have to use other apps to see their market prices. 100% would reverse this install if I could. Crap job krapken. Stop hiring your friends and get some talent. New Users: due to Kraken's poor new management, things have taken a bad turn in many areas. Instability and finances are 2 words that do not belong together. Being a long time Kraken customer, I recommend new users seek other exchange options as there are better ones out there. Thank me later. Seasoned traders: If you see more green & red in one day than in all of Christmas, you will be annoyed with this upgrade.

Guess what. 8pm i went to the site to. I was greeted with virtual help. I had questions so I asked the IA a question. Seconds later a real support member greeted me and ask every question I had. Signup process was very easy. I am a experienced trader and I must say, this platform is top tier. But something else stands out more than just software and usability; access. With a support team that responsive, I can rest assure that whenever a issue comes, i will be able to handle accurately with a real support team. This is what matters most. It is when the mistakes happen that may cost you the most. I plan on creating a long term relationship with Kraken

Down for maintenance every time crypto makes big moves.. This app and the website CONSISTENTLY go “down for maintenance” when the user volume is “too high”, which of course, corresponds with every time BTC is making some massive move and accounts need to be managed. Over two years I’ve been with Kraken and they have cost me dearly in either their inability to maintain a function system or unethical practice of ensuring users can not take profit on their trades. Honestly not sure which on it is at this point.. If you can not make sure a system that is functional when it NEEDS TO BE THE MOST, why even have it at all? DO NOT even put your money on this exchange if you have intentions of managing it during times of high volume. They will go down.

Excellent App. Very user friendly. Nice to look at, user interface is neat, well-organized, and intuitive, and they recently added a feature that allows you to deposit and withdraw fiat or crypto currency directly within the app which is incredibly convenient. The only downside—which is minor—is the lack of indicators or overlays for the charts. However the casual trader likely wouldn’t need the advanced tools that can be found on the desktop site, and technical limitations may well be the reason they haven’t been integrated so I won’t take any points away for that. Overall it’s an outstanding app. If you’re looking for a good entry point into the world of cryptocurrency trading, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better option.

Blamed. I found Kraken through a web search, I thought they looked professional and simple for new traders. I was wrong! I wanted to invest a small amount as my first investment. I sent a fiat wire transfer from my bank to their MVB. My fault I forgot to write the reference number. I immediately called customer chat, to rectify this and was told it’s no problem. Just give us the number and we will manually input it. So after almost 2 weeks! or so of no response. I Called chat, them telling me the money can’t be deposited until I jump through more hoops. By this time I’m beyond frustrated. So I’m asked to take a “Hostage picture “ of me holding a note with a valid ID. Which now takes more time of not investing on the site. I finally vented in a email sent from Kraken. I woke up the next morning seeing a new email. Saying “do to security reasons “ we can’t deposit your funds and they will be returned. Terrible company! Never again

Best Trading App. I’ve been a Kraken and Kraken Pro user for several years and am very happy with the app and the platform. The pro website is professional grade (I was with several large Wall Street banks for about 20 years) and the app has all the tooling needed to handle my portfolio while away from my desk. It’s very intuitive and logical, and there is very little evidence of additional latency on the mobile app. I can see all of my positions and balances, and can enter into margin positions. The biggest gap is research, but you can see most technical signals.

Stick to Coinbase if your portfolio is less than $10k.. I really WANT to like Kraken. But it’s really only for serious traders with a larger portfolio. I wanted to switch from Coinbase after reading reviews and exploring the website. I thought I did my homework but I can’t help but feel misled by Kraken’s fantastic marketing. The KYC and AML process is painful - it took a week to have my account verified (but I get the importance of this for customers in the USA considering the large deposit limits). You can only deposit USD via wire transfer. So that’s a 1-3 day waiting period and $25+ charge from your bank, and then another $5 from Kraken. I guess I assumed that Kraken would allow ACH/EFT deposits like Coinbase. The app is pretty good overall, and so is the desktop website. There’s a lot to like here. I would like to think that as I grow my portfolio and fall deeper into the rabbit hole of crypto, I will get more use out of Kraken. But for now, being somewhat new to the space, its not for me. If you’re not a serious trader with a larger portfolio, stick to something more suitable for beginners like Coinbase. Beginners and retail investors with less than $10k will likely be disappointed.

Migglezz. Good app. Lots of colors, numbers and choices of how to display them. Certain buttons you press change how you see the numbers and colors and sometimes you can input your own numbers. Very colorful and full of numbers. Fabulous pointed, squiggly lines which also have different colors sometimes point up or sometimes down and stretch across a scrolling grid and the pointed squiggles seem to coincide with the colors and numbers. Rising numbers and rising pointed lines and falling number and falling lines in two different colors. Red and Green. What colors! There are also Words that are just as colorful and also in an alphabetical sort of way. Colored letters, many times in groups of three consonants, are colored and hard to pronounce but have a pretty colorful shape next them. What a sight! Unpronounceable letter combinations in different COLORS with colorful shapes beside them! It seems though that the attention grabbing, inter-related, colors and numbers and also the squiggly lines are frenzied. I have to cool it after while and do something else. Largely good though in a colorful way.

The almost perfect cryptocurrency exchange.. Kraken has among the most competitively low fees for purchasing and selling cryptocurrencies around. Its user interface is also quite user friendly. I only wish I could do instant ACH transfers to transfer my money more quickly into my account and without that cursed wire transfer fee. Although I hear there is an ACH money transfer system in beta right now. So hopefully I will have that option soon! The last request I would like from Kraken is to have a pdf file report that summarizes all my transactions for a given year that I may use to help me fill out my tax returns the way Coinbase does. Looking forward to Kraken eventually becoming THE perfect cryptocurrency exchange!

No support, no proper communication. Signed up and tried to get verified. The app is stuck at verification stage and they haven’t answered my emails yet. The app is saying verification should take less than 5 mins, but it has been two days already. I know its a busy time. But why making an app when you can not predict its demand and cause down time and inconvenience? Its not right to waste so much time on signing up and then let the customers wait days to get simple things setup. I use coinbase but i wanted a specific coin that coinbase doesn’t carry, so i signed up with them to get that coin, but so far no luck. By the way, 24/7 support means 24/7 live chat/phone and etc. if your chat is a virtual idiot who reads the faq page, its not 24/7 support anymore. And regarding the app its a bit hard to operate it because you have to do most things on desktop website and once you have transferred money to your account, you can start buying and selling on the app. I find this very inconvenient compared to other apps. I also think im In Mars when I'm in the app. You sign in with api key only, there is no user/pass!!! When you want to deposit money, you cant do ACH or debit or credit card. You have to sign up with another company and fund that company and then fund your kraken. You can also request for a verification to be able to wire money which mine is still pending. You have done everything to make the funding as hard as possible. I don’t know why.

Not user-friendly. Kraken seems to be extremely complicated only allowing wire transfers with random generated codes that you’ll have to follow to ensure the money you wired them actually will go into your platform account. They offer no direct way to deposit money from bank accounts other than wire transfers. As someone who is new to this I find this app extremely confusing. We’re in the 21st century how can bank wires be your only option? Plus if the funds didn’t reach my actual account imagining the hassle of trying to locate your funds sounds exhausting. I was excited to join Kraken but since it’s not very beginner user-friendly I wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve left the Stone Age. The app and the trading section or the website are great. I moved to this exchange because it has overall almost all the coins I want. Very user friendly interface and has 2FA support. Fees are not the best but also not the worst on the market. They are middle of the road. I’ll leave what exchange I came from undisclosed. Reason it’s not a 5 star review: 1. No direct transfer. Only offers wire or coin transfers. Really would like this implemented. 2. The website (not trading section) could be organized a little more to asset management, etc. The trading page is great though with allot of customization options. Honestly this is not a big deal as the app is very good. Enhancement suggestions: 1. Widget support. Would be nice to have a favorites widget in the app. 2. iPad native app: Would be nice but not a big deal as you can just favorite the trading page on safari to your Home Screen and it serves pretty much as a native app.

Great product, but a few requests. I can’t help but give this app 5 stars, because it has a great, intuitive user experience, and the exchange is one of my absolute favorites as well, though I do think improvements could make it even better. The things that I do consider extremely important, that I think are missing, are: a) a historical graph of gross portfolio value b) cost basis on individual trades and overall coin holdings. Currently the transaction history for coins will only show the date of the trade and current market value of a trade performed, but not the price paid at the time.

UI has gotten worse. The positives: there are fewer bugs in the new version (there used to be a bug where the app would occasionally freeze upon swiping up to submit an order) and Stop Limit orders are a welcome feature addition. Those benefits are outweighed, in my opinion, by the decline in UI quality over the last couple of versions. Market trades were moved to a separate page, so I have to toggle between that page and the order book to get the information I need to make a trade. In the most recent update, the leverage option was changed from a selection to a drop down menu, so now it takes two taps instead of one to select leverage for a trade. For some trades, every second matters, so that extra selection makes a difference. The order page in general feels more crowded and clunky than it used to be. Trading in the app used to be quick enough that it was an acceptable backup to trading on desktop, but recent changes have made it impossible to be an active trader in the app.

Best crypto exchange out there.. I have to give it to the developers, you guys really make a smooth customer experience. I love the user interface, easily customizable and easy to digest as well. Friendly for beginners in crypto as well as those who are more familiar with crypto. The fees are EXPONENTIALLY lower than Coinbase, which is a huge, huge plus. If you’re looking for a reliable, safe exchange with low fees to get into crypto/maintain positions in crypto, choose Kraken! The newest update was great! Love the design changes. If I had to ask for something, I’d love a widget ability (on iPhone) just so I can look at a few coins throughout the day without having to sign on/use FaceID to get into the app. Another small detail that nobody probably cares about except me is that when you first open the app, it’s the old shade of purple as the background color. Then, it switches to the new, more vibrant shade of purple when the FaceID prompt comes up.

Complicated. I cannot log in with kraken logging me out. I can’t verify my account I cannot feet my information. I can’t invest. This was a waste and I really hate that all do these apps stela your information and don’t let you delete it if you want to delete it. I really wanted to like this app but it was way to complicated setting him my account, trying to verify my account and understand their system. Beware. It’s not as simple as other apps. I figured it out but the website and app log me out every few seconds. I cannot link a card or bank account so I can invest. This is crappy that you all have banded together against the people who are trying to better themselves. We just want to invest like anyone else. Why make this so difficult.

My thoughts. Kraken has been very useful for me. I live overseas for work and they allowed me to use a VPN due to my odd situation. Trading is no problem and the use of many securtiy features such as setting up the app so you cannot withdraw money, several authenications for each step of the process online along with email notifications has been very useful. My only downsides are the lack of coins and exchange fees. I hope there is a way to recommend more coins on the platform because it’s a pain to try and buy coins on other platforms and deal with exchange fees. The redeeming factor of the exchange fees is that they drop but I wish there was a method to keep it smaller or have none at all. Not to mention more coins would cause more traffic and more buyers at the same time because they can trust Kraken and leave other sites like Binance and etc. I believe it would greatly increase sales. I recommend this app to anyone who is starting.

Exceeding the most outstanding effective platform for all crypto exchanged and services!. Great user experience and security. Really feels like Kraken puts the customer first. Their emphasis on security makes me feel comfortable my funds are safe. They also separate themselves from Coinbase and BinanceUS by offering user friendly on-chain staking with regular, auto-compounding payouts. Kraken has low fees as well, Coinbase takes 2% of your trading volume which is insane! Kraken seems much more customer oriented. Only thing I wish the Kraken app would allow is staking/i staking via the mobile app. Currently I can only do it through the browser :( still worth the effort, just inconvenient.

U.S. Citizens are being punished.. I loved Kraken and traded a while back when margin for all US citizens was available. I turned $4k into $52k in less than a year. The U.S. took that away from us. Where do we go? Forex? Where our money isn’t secure? Sure, Kraken is still great if you just want to make un-leveraged trades. The fees are low and the diversity in crypto is large for a big, respectable crypto trading platform. Dump U.S-based Coinbase and their decision to go public with the company. And their high fees for trading currency they don’t own the rights to. Kraken will always have a special place in my heart.

Amazing interface. Even better customer service.. I have used a few different CEX’s and Kraken is by far my favorite. It’s trading tools have always been incredible and now it’s user interface matches that quality. Their customer service, however, is what puts them head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. In my earlier days of crypto I reached out to them many times. Sometimes with specific questions, other times with specific problems. They were always timely, informative, and helpful. Even when I had made a mistake, they did what they could to correct my error. I highly recommend using Kraken whether you’re just getting in or have been in the crypto space.

ACH. I love Kraken due to the fact that I can sell my TRX to USD and transfer to my bank account. Send LTC to USD to DOT and stake for 12% APY. A GROW REWARDS feature, meaning earnings from staking will be added to staking. Compounding is the right word? Reason why I didn't rate it a five is because the head office is in San Francisco, CA yet you can't link an ACH bank to your account for deposit and buy directly in the exchange. Also, I used to have no issues connecting with chat support but lately I can't get in touch with one. Also, I like how you can set up different 2FAs codes to login, fund, trade, & for the master key. Extra added security.

Kraken Pro is an Excellent Platform. If you want the ability to actively trade and use all of the traditional tools and functionality you would typically get with a platform like TOS or TradingView then Kraken is definitely the best available (at least to US residents). The fact that Kraken also offered some of the lost competitive staking rates on coins like DOT, ADA, ETH, XTZ, etc is a huge bonus. Their rates are really strong and at the high end of the range when compared across the industry. The app is super user friendly and does pretty much anything you’ll likely need it to, and the web based platform is just as good if not better. Hope this is helpful.

Great Alternative to Coinbase. I used Coinbase and Coinbase Pro (formerly GDAX) for a long time and eventually decided to try out Kraken/Kraken Pro. The tools and insights are still there with Kraken. One benefit that you don’t hear about—because it’s never a guarantee—is best price execution. In those moments when I’ve wanted to buy a small amount of crypto and not worry about calibrating a limit order, Kraken’s market orders (whether Kraken or Kraken Pro) generally seem to execute at the best market price on its exchange. That says something about Kraken’s technology but also the company’s ethical standards. Last but not least—on the topic of limit orders—I love having the ability to fine tune my limit orders. Kraken Pro offers that.

Training wheels. Hodling since 2011 with 0 experience with trading. Kraken made it easy to learn the ropes. Some other exchanges are complicated, confusing, and easy to make costly errors. Kraken has never had an outage (since I’ve been using it) and their numbers are spot on real time. Favorite exchange to use as a repository for the crypto that I want to “play” with while hodling the rest in an interest bearing situation. Kraken is NOT a wallet; it’s an exchange (and states it up front). Use it as such and hopefully you’ll be a happy camper!

Review. I love the Kraken newsletters that I receive daily exciting informative content and educational content is top notch, however coming from the option/futures world I am use to speaking to a live person from the trade desk, moreover emails are answered in most cases instantly. I have been trying to complete my registration for 2 weeks web base platform is down only displaying 1/3 page specifically bottom third. I stayed in the queue line for 2 hours waiting to speak with a representative and my position in line never moved, beforehand the queue moved 3 spots afterwards nothing. Kraken can take the playbook from equity/derivative brokerages that offer live support teams to round out their customer service.

Great for the new trader. Honestly I’d recommend this exchange because it has all the commonly known coins and is easy to use. This simple app has some restrictions on the services you can access, but that only adds to my confidence in its security. Would highly recommend for people like myself who want to get to know crypto currency and the market better, but I’d still be using it as a whale probably. It also feels very personalized to myself, which I appreciate.

I really tried - sorely disappointed. Never lived up to their claims. I’m a financial professional looking to expand further into the cryptocurrency space and was very hopeful at what kraken could offer. I was abruptly halted at the verification process. The Intermediate verification claims a 4-5 minute wait time and it has been 4 days and 2 messages to their service team and I have received ABSOLUTELY no reply. They claim 24/7 live chat - never was a live person available. As I was writing this, my verification went through, but only after I informed them that I have no appetite for this level of service any longer and will be moving elsewhere. I would never imagine offering such poor service to my own clients, so I will be seeking a service who holds the same level of professionalism.

New to crypto. Kraken has the coins I always wanted. I’m new to the crypto game. Left Robinhood which was a joke. Happy I have so many coins to choose from. What I love the most is that you can stake your coins “I think of as a savings account” and watch my money grow. Quick rating. It takes a while to get to understand but if familiar with any kind of crypto trading eventually it all seems to clip into place and provides a uniqueness. If I was in a region that allowed big leverage futures trading I’d probably put most my crypto into other apps but this is good and I’m hoping to get the time to use it more.

No AUD balance support. Can not display balances in AUD.... Filtering balances less tha $0.10 USD hides staked asset... Other functions work well. Better than other kraken app for trading.

Fantastic. As a Canadian customer in Ontario, having been restricted from Binance, Kraken definitely fills most needs. Some improvements could be made over time such as a search bar and/or more trading pairs for stable coins in Kraken pro, but other than that the UI is solid.

Been a user since 2017.. As the title mentioned, been a user on their platform since 2017. It’s the most og place to start learning, to advanced trading. Not had any real issues, but laddering too many orders will sometimes clog the network. That’s literally the only issue. Never had a problem. Best choice!

Customer Service. I was locked out of my account and the response was very reasonably quick via email. It was a strange experience however. If you want back in your account it requires sending a picture of yourself holding a note and govt id. Buy, they were in top of it and very appreciated. More than what anyone can say about the other 2 guys running that other exchange. Highly recommended. The charts a awesome too.

Best Crypto Exchange. Kraken wants you to succeed. They have so many tools complimentary tools and great api access. In general, Kraken tries to show as much of its backend to users as possible. While this transparency may make the platform more complicated for the less technical traders, it is definitely worth it if you are serious about crypto. Don’t let Kraken’s low volume compared to other exchanges fool you, all it means is that the people who trade on Kraken have more conviction.

I recommend kraken to anyone. I think customer service is important and Kraken has superb follow up and support. I joined the platform to buy Doge and its was during a time that everyone paying attention saw that GameStop things happen with Wall Street. Needless to say the verification process took longer than expected but I put in a request to find out when I might be verified after 5 days and their team got back to me within 20 mins and approved verification. That’s 5 star service

Great App, needs a little friendlier UI for newbies. This app has some nice charting features, a good selection of assets, and good order flow info, but it is a little overwhelming for those who may be new to crypto. Buy monero 😋 Edit: I checked out the normal Kraken app and it basically fixes exactly what I mentioned above. Please add some rest api info on the pro version of the app though… coinbase has it

My favorite crypto platform. I love how reliable Kraken is, the staking rewards (they beat almost every other US platform in staking returns), and the variety of coins they let you trade (one of the few US platforms that offers XMR and DOT!). The desktop platform is great but it’s features don’t scale to the app and that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. I wish you could directly deposit, withdraw and stake through the app, I also wish they offered more trading pairs via the app, but atm is limited. As of now the desktop site is my go-to, hoping they will add more features in the future!

Love / hate. I was loving the app as things were going smoothly however I have recently deposited money through a wire transfer, my bank shows everything as completed as of 10am on 2/16 however nothing is showing up in my Kracken account. My previous transfer only took 2 hours to show and here I have been waiting over 24 hours. I have tried to reach Kracken through the chat and email and have received no help at all. What pisses me off is that my money is sitting in limbo during great purchasing opportunities and I have received zero response or help from Kracken.I loved the app up until this but now I may have to look elsewhere for my investments.

Unbelievable. I have tried signing up for kraken for months now, I’m a bit busy so when I find the time I try, they say I have an account I try to recover my password no email sent. I get online with tech support, one email sent to me no response whatsoever afterwards. I try to recover my password on my own no email sent, I try to sign up again an automated email saying I have an account already but won’t let me sign in. I have tried and tried again and I’m honestly sick of it would not recommend due solely on the fact of slow response time to issues, and a bug in the sign in that reads I have an account when I don’t.

Love kraken (app and exchange)… but. Kraken is the first and only central crypto I exchanged for long time. And love this app. (I use many centralized exchanges now…). Kraken fees are decent…. But there are more competitive exchanges out there which I’ll use (except for tokens where kraken has quite good staking rates). Kraken should be a great exchange for many beginner and intermediate peeps. I’ll upgrade from 3 to 5 stars when it starts working on my iPhone 8 Plus again. ;(. It stays on the “release the kraken” splash screen for longer than I have patience…. Multiple minutes at least.

Horrible service. I’ve been trying forever now to get verified on this platform. They basically take all of your information and when you go to upload your photo the have a constant error message that says the there was an error uploading the document... tried going to support to see if I was doing anything wrong, I definitely wasn’t, everything was done exactly how described. I tried chatting in and the automated customer care rep said to turn GSL off, I didn’t even have it on to beginning with. I planned on turning it on after the verification process but obviously it seems like they are doing everything they can to keep anyone else from trading on their website.

Awesome way to buy multiple forms of cryptocurrency. Once you go through a verification and authorization process to open a account, you are able to buy multiple form of cryptocurrency. They have multiple verification and authentication you do to authorize all transactions. They require multiple forms of identification to open an account.

Customer service. Even though as with most companies these days especially with cryptocurrency wallets/banks one cannot actually speak with a customer service rep by making a telephone call; that being said, the virtual customer service provided by Kraken blows other companies away specifically Coinbase whose virtual customer service is non existent and an utter joke. I left Coinbase for Kraken and have never turned back. I now balance my accounts through Kraken and Robinhood. Good day.

Beware - No withdrawals in the US from the app. Overall the app is better than CoinBase with one HUGE exception. You cannot use the mobile app for withdrawals from your account. That feature is desktop ONLY. Whether this is the fault of the app or US government regulations I don’t know, but in any case it’s a serious drawback making the app only suitable for crypto trades. If you want to cash out at any time you cannot use the app. For myself, this is a fatal flaw because it means being forced to carry a laptop or using dangerously insecure connections on desktop machines in hotels when I travel for work. App would get five stars if this flaw changed.

Etana is horrible, makes it impossible to add funds to Kraken. I got to the final stage of setting up my Etana account in order to fund my kraken account and the website would not load a checkbox needed for the absolute final step to verify my account. It would not work on multiple devices. I recommend that kraken use a different service other than Etana or it will deter many investors. I tried using Etana because it is supposed to link directly to your Kraken account easily. I recommend using Coinbase if you want ease of use and proper functionality. Edit: No, thank you. I have decided on other investment platforms.

Another Garbage Exchange. So here we go again, jump though all the hoops to get trading only to hit a big old road block. How the heck do you have a US-based exchange that will not allow deposits of, and therefore purchases, US dollars using a card. You fools support card deposits from about 100 countries, but not the US. Add to that, the app and the web UI are a pain in the neck to even log into, and constantly log you out if you switch tabs. The topper is the 404 error when you select support. This is a garbage fly by night operation. I finally managed to find the support page via another route and put a request ticket in to close the account. Steer clear and find another exchange.

They have process issues to sort out.. Not at all happy with these people. They’ve stopped me from getting my crypto out of there account my account it’s there it’s monetized it says I have this X amount of dollars in there but they won’t let me pick it out I deposited on Friday noticed that there was much of a selection in their pool of coins like $KAS, so I decided to go back to my original exchange uphold they verify the address but yet they won’t let me take it up because I have to select less of them of the amount that I have in there. I put in a ticket support ticket and they are so backed up That they put me on the back burner. Don’t use them they have too many issues.

New user. So far so good with Kraken. I was able to easily set up my account on the website, as well as on the app and get them both synchronized with all the security measures. Also was able to do a simple wire transfer to fund my account and was able to use those funds to buy crypto same day. Although there’s a hold on the transfer which restricts my ability to withdrawal for 72 hours, but that’s OK the more security the better as far as I’m concerned.

So moot use any other crypto exchange. I have had zero issues with kraken, easy to transfer in and out of wallet and quick. All my friends that use other exchanges have had many issues like being able to execute orders, withdraw money or being halted at the worse times…none of this has ever happened to me on kraken and I use it every single day. I wouldn’t trade anywhere else.

Great overall. Took some getting used to and somewhat complicated to sign up in the first place, but overall a good experience after using it for a while and they’ve been improving it. Still needs the ability to set up notifications for when something drops or climbs a certain percentage or to a specific amount. That seems to only be available in the web version.

Horrible app. Had kraken since 2019 and was working fine with it fees are high to move money out but it was ok. Then one day at 4:30am I get a message saying my account is being closed due to security reasons they cannot tell me about. You can ask and call all you want but they won’t do anything. They give you 72hrs to move your money to another exchange or wallet. It made no sense and I still don’t know why it was closed for some security reason. Watch them if you have an account there. I have read where they have closed tons of accounts and have no reason and won’t give you one just it’s for security purposes they can’t tell you. Be careful with them.

Comments. Very impressed with website but very unhappy with efforts to deposit US dollars via options. Did a chat which was NOT helpful and never received a response to service request. Customer service needs massive improvement as other exchanges MUCH easier to navigate here in US. I like being able to access some coins not available on other exchanges. Hope to get an answer to my service request via email.

Great Exchange. So far there have been a couple of issues, but the issues were quickly solved. I reached out for answers on Siacoin deposits not showing up, but it was only a temporary problem. They communicated with me quickly that they were working to solve the problem. You can stake on Kraken and they over some great rewards for doing so.

Better than Coinbase & Coinbase Pro. Kraken is the way to go guys. I did the research and tried out all the most popular US crypto exchanges for weeks. Compared to Coinbase and the others, Kraken offer several more of the best crypto coins you’ll want, their fees are among the lowest their and their user interface is the best I saw for intermediate to advanced users. Don’t get duped by Coinbase charging you 1.99% deposit fees, 2% “spread fees” for exchanging coins and only offering a few of the best crypto coins. Coinbase altogether or upgrade to Kraken. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.

Quick service and support!. Recently began using Kraken and immediately noticed the customer support response time was fast and friendly. Even before making a deposit, any service that can make an effort to contact new members is worth using. Had trouble with verification but quickly reached out to me to help get ball rolling. Thank you and look forward to using the app and Kraken exchange!

Had to give 4 stars, but I love this app.. This app is great. Almost gives us everything we need. I do like the simplicity and ease of access of the app, but it is lacking in functionality compared to other apps like Coinbase. CB is much closer to full functionality on the mobile app compared to a web browser. I have no doubt the developers of Kraken will bring more great features and updates in the future. I really like Kraken overall; I would highly recommend their services.

Don’t use Kraken for exchanging crypto. 1. Fees are high comparatively to other exchanges 2. If you decide to use it, never use stop loss because sometime you get this 1 second candles on 10% price that basically triggers your stop at the bottom of the candle. I would say that this is a market manipulation and it’s not supposed to happen. Since such 1 second price movement happens on kraken and not any other exchange. 3. When there is a big market movement application can lag and you won’t be able to access it for a 5-10 mins. Happened to me in the past couple of times. Overall - it’s an average exchange but 1 star for the above

So far so good!!. I’ve been really impressed with the app. I wouldn’t want to use it solely for trading, but it’s almost faster to make transactions using the phone it seems like. Really enjoying it so far. Some improvements can be made though. I’d like to see the high, low, close price of candles when I click on it. Maybe I’m missing something but I didn’t see that feature on there. Either case, very solid app that clearly a lot of effort went into!

best margin trading option i have as US citizen. it’s web/desktop experience is better, though it still could use some UX work regarding user flows and better synergy between the exchange and the site. app gets a bit buggy with high volume, the way they show your positions and orders is kinda weird, and wish there were more coin/token options for margin trading. but as an american i’m not going to complain too harshly. it certainly does the job well enough for a lower level trader like me.

Reliable, fast and easy to manage. Kraken PRO is definitely one of the best ways to manage your crypto wallets. The way the app works is entirely managed by the desktop version and how many features you want to make accessible to the app. Definitely worth the download especially if you cannot be on your computer for a majority of the day.

App not appearing in IOS settings. Would the developer please explain why the kraken app is nowhere to be found in my IOS settings. Not having the ability to control app privacy settings like tracking, camera, microphone, Siri ect is a concern. These functions may be available within the app (I haven’t gotten that far) but all in all they should be able to be controlled within IOS settings like vertically ever other app.

Kraken is getting better but …... My previous review was very distasteful to kraken but since the update it’s grown on me but there are a few key features on the mobile app that I would love to see that would make in more useful for myself being an active crypto trader who is not able to sit in front of their computer all the time and trade from there. - indicators (vwap, ema’s, etc.) - ability to set price alerts and push notifications to mobile

Convenient Extension of Desktop Platform. The market trackers are handy to quickly check moves throughout the day and to broadly monitor account balances as the trends develop. Charting and trading is still best on the web application, but it is a major help to keep tabs on developments and be better informed before executing trades. Very well designed and user friendly without sacrificing security assurances. If you have an existing Kraken account and aren’t sure whether the app is necessary, I highly recommend adding it to your arsenal.

Easy and secure!!. I will preference you will need to log into kraken on a computer first and create a key to use this app but it’s free. It’s easy and really simple to use and even offers a video guide on how to use the app if you need help. It’s a great app for viewing and monitoring you’re crypto wallet. The in app market confused me alittle but the website version is a breeze to use. Overall the app is a great compliment to their website and I definitely recommend using kraken for you crypto purchase/ trading/convertingneeds

Great app for an Excellent crypto exchange. This app is better than using the kraken website to do trades. The graphs it draws for tracking prices are excellent, and I prefer them to all other crypto tracking apps. The fact that I can trade directly in the same app I use to track prices is fantastic. I only wish they made an ipad app!! Because unfortunately this app isn’t great on an ipad. Still, though, I tend to trade on the go, so working this well on my phone still earns this app 5 stars!!

Painful. I really wanted to like Kraken, but alas it is not to be. First off the registration process is ridiculous and long. Second, you cannot buy, withdrawal or deposit on the app. Only trade/exchange. If I have to keep going back and forth between the app and website I am not too motivated to switch from Coinbase or Exodus. Plus I don’t feel Kraken is very user friendly. UX/UI design is greatly lacking. Not to mention the website is not mobile device friendly. I will say that Kraken offers more cryptos than some other platforms so that is good.

#SHIB. While you did not deliver on listing SHIB in the quick turnaround time you mentioned on Twitter, I do not want a few bad reviews to leave a bad taste in your mouth for the SHIB collective. I believe it was your intent to garner interest in the coin on your platform so that you could do your due diligence in listing. The backlash you’ve received this week on social media doesn’t represent the SHIBArmy as a whole, and the long term investors are with you and patiently standing by.

THE WORST. i’ve said this once and I’m going to say it again. Anyone wanting to download this do NOTTT!!! THE WORST TRADING PLATFORM OUT THERE. THEY LIE AND MANIPULATE THE STOCK MARKET WITH THEIR LIES. this is the worst crypto app out there AND I WOULD HATE FOR YOU TO EXPERIENCE IT!! Go to Webull!! or anyone else in that matter but just not this one. I will make sure this goes downhill from here I did it on your other app I’m going to do it here. If Coinbase ain’t working for you…. I used coin base for a year or so and then I had a problem with my account and their customer support was no help at all, my account is still messed up there and I have yet to hear from a real person, So I tried kracken, it’s not quite as user friendly as Coinbase, but when my bank account got stolen in October they automatically locked my account and when I talked to them via email I got a real person who personally double checked with me to make sure everything was on the up and up before any transactions took place Long story short Kracken is Legit, They have good customer service, and they want your bussiness enough to provide this. Most of what you want is here When you really start trading crypto having Good customer support can’t be underrated

Not user friendly. The app and exchange is good. The only issue I find with it is that it’s hard to navigate around and placing buy/sell orders are a hassle. Whenever I click on new order it goes to the recent coin I was looking at even if it’s not the order I want to start and trying to change that just takes me out of the order section. It would also be nice to make orders from your balance tab instead so you can more easily buy and sell the coins you’re already in/interested in.

Kraken vs Coinbase. Based as a long time user of Coinbase, Kraken has a way better support team whom you can talk live on the phone while Coinbase has a prerecorded voice that “no one is here” call back later” at 10am PST. Based on Kraken support responding to me quickly and live on the phone, I transfer my money and coins to Kraken as soon as possible. Despite the cash loss of selling and transferring via wire. I have way Better service support vs no support other than Coinbase links.

Pretty good, but can improve. Pricing and staking of DOT is good. I don’t like that Kraken pockets my crypto past a certain decimal point and call it good….. pretty sure that’s mine but help yourself Kraken. I wish that funding my account was easier with a normal bank account. I don’t like having to setup an account with some strange company….. I guess Kraken must have a stake in this company and it benefits them by creating new users?.. Anyway I started this review thinking it would be positive but negativity just started flowing. I like staking DOT easily and getting 12% on my small amount. Other than this app and brokerage needs work in my opinion.

Better, but still needs work. Generally great exchange & pretty decent app interface. This UI is 1000% better than Coinbase Pro and the fees are much lower. My go-to place for trading & viewing cryptos. My biggest complaint is how long it takes the app to refresh & update chart thumbnails on the watchlist & markets page. I can never be sure if what I’m looking at is up to date or not because half the time I’ll notice it update after clicking on the actual chart then returning to the list page. Other Improvements I’d like to see: Staking/unstaking in-app Coin-specific trade histories collated for easy viewing Average cost of holdings auto-calculated & accessible for viewing Percent differential of average cost & spot price calculated for viewing ACH transfers into Kraken (one of Coinbase’s few advantages over kraken)

Better customer service. I was with Kraken in 2017 and returned recently. Their customer service has improved greatly. I am still leaving 4 stars because it was a hit if a hassle getting back into my account, but they helped me resolve it after a few days and mostly minimal hoops to jump through. Honestly, customer service at Kraken is waaaaaayyyy better than Coinbase these days. Now, they just need to improve trading capabilities and accessibility in the app, and they will be good to go. Oh and re-list XRP too :)

Better than Coinbase. Not your keys, not your crypto. Kraken is constantly improving to get your fiat into crypto quickly, easily, and with less fees. Coinbase makes it SEEM easy but they gouge you on fees and they’ll lock your account for no reason and you’ll spend hours with an offshore representative with a heavy accent (btw, I respect and appreciate them and realize they’re doing their best. But you don’t use these agents with peoples investments!!!)

Great app, great support. I’m pretty new in this world and my first contact with kraken wasn’t easy. I’ve downloaded the app and tried to transfer and amount from coinbase to them but in the transaction One piece of information was missing and the transfer was kind of lost. Ive sent an email to the support which was replied shortly explained the whole processe. Hopefully they were able to find my transaction and fixed my problem. Thanks Kraken

Overall Awesome & Simple Platform. So my top 2 platforms are Voyager & now This. Having tried almost every platform I could it’s all come down to these 2. Staking, Simplicity, Fast Deposits & Widrawalls, Best crypto selections and more. Voyager is a little more user friendly and overall easier to use however kraken makes up for it with their top of the line trackers and desktop site....if you are looking to day trade, use a bot or stake your HODL stash check this out!!!

Advanced. For those looking for an easy-to-use cryptocurrency investing app, this is probably not that app. There are easier ones, like Coinbase, for beginner investors. However, this app is more involved and detailed than any other out there. If you are looking for a way to safely invest, and at the same time easily see every detail about your investment and the crypto market as a whole, this app is for you.

Ridiculous Method of Funding Account. AVOID • AVOID • AVOID • AVOID!! I’ve spent the better part of a day trying to fund this Kraken account using their only 2 methods: Bank Wire Transfer and Etana Custody. Note: Kraken can’t receive ACH transfers (aka EFT, Electronic Funds Transfer) •Bank Wire Transfer attempt resulted in message from my bank saying, “This account (kraken’s account) is already in use by 2 customers and this is the maximum number of customers allowed.” •Etana Custody, a third party shell company, has the most ridiculous steps for collecting extremely confidential and questionable information (re: Political Declaration). Highly annoying process of dealing with their iPhone-unfriendly webpage (couldn’t see or expand full page), finally ended with invasive questions of political declarations. There was enough aggravation, frustration and justifiable concerns over security by this point to abandon the process, but bringing up politics nailed the coffin shut on Etana. With no other way to fund the Kraken account, it has rendered itself useless to me. Fix it or… AVOID • AVOID • AVOID • AVOID!!

Decent trading but painful funding process. Good trading software once you get it funded. The issue is the funding process, It’s complicated with many steps. Wire is probably the easiest but it’s $25 from your bank and $5 from kracken and you have to follow many steps which are confusing and it still takes 1 to 3 days. Hopefully they can make an easier funding process like coinbase did. Then it would be much more inviting and encourage use from all levels of traders. Until they gain moreMore efficiency with the funding process I will keep the majority of my money and with coinbase.

Worst experience ever. It held my transfer for an hour and made me lose $40k. I will never use kraken. If I transfer fund to kraken it gets in there within 2 minutes but when I try to pull out, it usually takes 10 mins but this time it took more than an hours. And locked me out of my own device saying it’s a new device but I’ve been using Kraken on this device, they’re confirmation email comes after an hour to long into a device. Plus lot more complication that I don’t have the time to write it on here. If you’re a time sensitive trader please avoid kraken. I wish I could give me them a zero star!

My fave exchange. Some of the other exchanges were just a little too over my head and had too much going on. They don’t seem as user friendly and approachable. Kraken is still more sophisticated than Coinbase and it can get very complex & advanced if you’re a crypto expert but you can also use it as a somewhat novice and keep to the more simplistic modality.
