Slow. Every time I try to touch pictures or what have you it’s very slow running. I think they need to update it not sure very slow. Please fix.

Terrible - videos are wrong way, support non existent. Posting videos is terrible because you can never get them portrait or landscape properly, support to ask questions is non-existent.

Nothing like the ads. This is marketed as an app to help you explore your local neighborhood. There is no map feature, and it’s impossible to set a custom location on your post. How can I show exactly where niche things are happening if I can only geotag a general location. How are users going to find what they want where they want if the only personalization option is hashtags, and not even a map. This app needs to realign itself with its ads like ASAP.

Awesome. This app is awesome if it would let me change my location and there weren’t so many bots trying to steal my personal data.

Potential yet not there. The app has potential to be better. Being able to select the cities or area you would like to look at is probably the most important feature the app lacks for its age. I have no interest in a metro area near me. However I would love to be able to look into other areas of smaller or even medium sized hole in the wall towns. The app is dependent on the people using it accordingly; I think if it could somehow allow a user to control the feeds content to be the niche you’re wanting to explore. It can improve. Ie: removing the unwanted folks. This can be good for photographers, explorers. People moving to the area. I think it’s odd it’s number 11 on the App Store for social networking with a lot of room for adjustments. Hopefully the features are coming. Otherwise this won’t be for me and the people I am looking to share this with.

Good concept. You guys have a really good social media idea. The only flaw I found is that there’s currently to small of a community right that if you don’t live in a very populated area. There is no one else around you. Still 5stars <3

Buy it or not buy it.... I think it just wants out location to track us down... But the app is amazing!

Potential, but not quite there yet.. I don’t think the screenshots are accurate. No map feature that I can see. It’s definitely way more broad than local and not very user-friendly. No content that interest me. Not worth the download quite yet.

An actually useful social media app?. I really hope this one takes off! I try to spam the algorithms of TikTok so it shows me more local sites but this fills that niche exclusively.

Great Concept but Disappointing Content. I love the idea of this app and thought it’d be a great way to discover cool hidden spots, but scrolling through the content is like looking through a stranger’s Facebook feed. I feel like there needs to be some more filters on the content, posting requirements, or maybe algorithm changes so that the content is more in-line with the app’s goal.

Great and Easy. Love to see new places and closer to home. I like the app 10/10. Good job.

Battery drain issue. This app makes my iPhone 14 pro warm up and drains battery life, there is a problem here and until it’s fixed I won’t reinstall it.

ADS!!!. Way to many ads after every video you watch an Ad pops up 😔😔😔But it is very interesting seeing what other ppl around you are doing

4 stars, 5 stars, if I knew how to turn on the sound!. I have asked several times in different locations how to turn on the sound to video! No replies from anyone!!!!! Disappointing as I like the videos!

Too many pop ups. The advertising is out of control, causing the pages to slide up and down making it difficult to read or view anything, as well as getting on your nerves, who needs added aggravation?

I like it but.... It has no sound!! None of the videos have sound! I am new to the app and I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still no sound! I would like to be able to try it out with sound.

App doesn’t even open. I wanted to try this app since I love learning about other cultures but the app doesn’t even open up it just says playsee logo and doesn’t load in I would love to try your app If it would actually open up and work please fix it so I can experience the app.

Not any events just moms posting. You go on the app thinking it’s gonna show events or things but it’s just basic Facebook moms posting their kids doing random stuff or self promoting businesses like mechanics, thought it was gonna show me cool events not face book shorts

Locations. Finding it a little hard to find locations.

This will not work !. I really like this idea but I can’t even set up an account. Will not let me like anything will not let me change my account name will not let me correct my age. Basically it didn’t work on my IPhone ! 😭 I have tried to contact the developer but he has NO email information.

Can’t work it. This app is crazy , I can’t see what I’m looking for . The app is showing different adds ! I think this is just to confusing on how to figure out . I’m deleting it now. This really was a waste of my time

Terrible with too many bugs. I thought this would allow you to see events at the time you’re viewing a map. Instead, not only are most of them not occurring at the time, there’s no option to filter by how recently posts were made. Literally everything I saw on my map already ended. To top it off, the location map is absurd. The map itself is too greyed out to read it properly while over-accentuating the bubbles/events, and the icing on the cake is the location issues. Bubbles for events will appear 10 or 30 miles away from where the events are actually happening. Events in Disney are showing up in Maitland (not even the same city), and after u click on one, good luck getting sent back to the map you were previously viewing because now you’re sometimes transferred to the other side of the state for some reason. Also, your dirty already-eaten tray of food from a random Wendy’s, your rtrip to the doctor’s office, or the view from your plane as you’re going somewhere else are not events. The concept is interesting, but it’s just not working.

Traveling the world. I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii this is the only way I can..thanks to app I can sort of.. for 38 years I’ve been enjoying watching the travel channel know thanks to this app I can do that and more…

Rip off of i Instagram. This is a blatant rip off of Instagram but instead of promoting shopping it’s based on where you are. But open Instagram and look at photos of this all they are identical !! Further more I wouldn’t be surprised to find that most of the people on this app are fake! everywhere you look it is a new news article about the police using their records to hunt down an ex or a cop murders someone in “cold blood “. Also there is like 1-2 posts in the 3 biggest city’s in every state it’s almost always at a restaurant 🙄 !!!nothing like the advertising said it was !!! Everything seems like an advertisement to sell you on apps to tell you about crime in your community. Or to make you sad TLDR: it’s a rip off of Instagram and it’s full of sad stories from from news companies or white women at a restaurant. Dont waist your time

Not like the adds. Cheap ripoff version of instagram You basically see what other people post or recommend but it doesn’t necessarily tell you the places you can go

Nothing like the ads. I thought it was gonna be an app that gave me a lot of ideas of where I could go and hang out with my friends. Instead it was just people posting low quality videos of there kids or something random like a Facebook grandma. Over all it’s just a worse and cheap knockoff of every social media app, but it has a lot of potential with the right switches.

New Playsee format. I like the new format. It’s easy to use. But I’m also really glad that you kept the map locator option which is my favorite way to choose anywhere in the world to see what other Playsee users have posted.

Keeps changing layout! Nothing like the ads - false advertising. Make up your mind what you want the app to be. Bad tiktok or bad Facebook. You keep changing. Now it’s more confusing. Lol Update: and they changed the layout yet again now similar to twitter(X) lol - they have no idea what they are doing.

Doesn’t Deliver. What you get and what their ads show and polar opposites. My was just a news feed of a drug overdose, COVID cases and more depressing news. They need to work on delivering great things to do not a rehash of news. It’s a sad Facebook.

Not as advertised. This app is advertised as a way to see new stuff to do wherever you are but in reality, it’s just a horrible Instagram. It just shows you videos from strangers not posting about new locations but mostly either corn scams or people at the gym. there’s no good way to see stuff where you are either except a map that is hard to control and not many videos on your location so it’s a useless app even as an alternative to Instagram don’t download

The best app. This is the best app that I had ever used this app makes me like to update new videos and this is the best app that i had ever used

Read the agreement. If you read the agreement you are agreeing to give all of your content away, they are not responsible for hacker and so much more. They should take Their toc to a lawyer to get it fixed because the wording in it is so vague and not even worded properly. Do not recommend AT ALL. DONT TOUCH THIS APP untill they fix all that!

Pretty good. I like it so far. I would recommend that after you view something you could swipe L/R/U/D to move to similar/nearby ones!

Not what advertised. I was under the impression from advertisements that this app would provide a map of interesting locations in my area. Turns out that this is just a knock off instagram with a map feature that doesn’t work, I couldn’t have deleted this app any faster. Don’t waste your time.

Not as advertised. Saw on tik tok as a fun and easy way to find cool things to do while traveling. There’s not much of that. A few pixelated videos of sights and a crap load of ads. On top of that the app format is slow, glitchy, and overall bad quality. I couldn’t find anything to do around me from this app mainly bc there aren’t that many people posting places/experiences/sights but of course over time they’ll grow their number of users and hopefully make their interface better.

Gross. I didn’t even want to give it one star. No one in my area posts about cool hidden gems in the city. All it has is nasty content of vulgar messages and people wanting to show themselves off or date.

Being Used Like Nextdoor. I was excited to use this app & find cool spots in my area, as it was advertised for. Extremely disappointed to find people are using it like Nextdoor or Facebook to post opinions, politics, police activity, random things like birds using their feeder or a car they liked that drove by?? Didn’t find any cool spots on there & couldn’t even make it my actual location, it kept jumping to stuff in CA & NV. If it was updated to do what it actually is advertised to do & to block people posting random crap & opinions that no one cares about, then it’d be a cool app.

Not what was advertised (Facebook alternative). It blatantly rips off the format of Instagram with the content of Facebook. I had to scroll for a while before I found a single interesting location/event, meanwhile the ad made it seem like the entire purpose was to find things to do and places to go. My first content shown was from January of 2022! Everything else was everything from local news, world news, cat videos, a sugardaddy seeking out women, skits, etc. Don’t waste your time. Just get thrillist or literally whatever you were doing before you wanted to get Playsee

Instagram. It feels like Instagram for kids

Nothing like the ad. It was nothing like the ad. I thought it was a place for people to find cool local spots to go out as a family. It was just a bunch of posts about robberies and news about local police department funding. Just very weird end nothing like what was advertised.

Great concept but the app doesn’t seem finished.. You get recommended posts from random strangers from anywhere in the world that contain random nonsense. It seems to be unmonitored and buggy now but in the future this could be a really great concept. It’s strange that when you download it there are no terms to agree to. They could import popular tourist attractions first and start building off that. But currently I am seeing posts about politics and pictures of celebrities.

Misleading marketing. It’s marketed as “how to find hidden gems” but it’s basically Instagram Story style of people posting very random videos them driving on freeways, the current weather, hiking a very popular national park mixed in with ads about increase rent in Denver? And video games? And majority of the photos won’t load. … needs improving?

Good. This is a good concept and I really like it. It is fun to make small videos and post them. I like creating the avatars even though I would like it better if you didn’t have to use coins for almost everything. It is fun to also watch other people’s videos on there too. It is good to do when you are bored. I like it. Thanks for reading.💗

Great concept but very rough app. I can see where the developers are getting at with the whole concept but the application definitely needs a lot of work. The app seems almost like a test run then a fully developed program. The app isn’t very intuitive either but overall great concept.

Misread something. I’m seeing something that I don’t now have need, but it has potential. I’d thought my search was for a way to download videos from twitter, but this might be better for communities. Sometimes I see a video on Twitter or something that I don’t have time to watch and wanted to download it or save it to watch. I see many that I forget to go back to or cannot find later. If I find an actual use for it, I’ll adjust the rating according to that. Right now I’m just too tired to work it out.

I can’t take a picture of my face it says I have to look at the camera. Every time when I’m taking a picture it always says I have to look at the camera and when I look at it, and I take a picture it always repeat it so that’s why I’m giving it a one Star review😡😡😡

No location ID. Pull up videos can't always tell where they are from or what city they are in.

Router Blocked Due To Malware. Tried opening the app and my NETGEAR router blocked the connection saying it tried connecting to a dangerous url containing malware. Devs you might want to address this.
