2 concerns. I love this game!!! But there are two things that I would recommend to make the game better. First I would like to comment on the adds there are not many adds which is amazing. You never really get that in a game. First concern is that there is not really any way to get diamonds except by buying them. I don’t really like that but it is not the worst. You just have to get used to that. I am a big fan of the property brothers show and this is the closest I have ever gotten to feeling like I am in the show. 😄😄😄 I like that this is a challenging game. When you play the puzzles they are so much fun but if you get past level 100 it is almost impossible to beat it. When you get far in the game and there is a 3 day challenge i have to delete the app and completely restart to complete the challenge. Second concern I would like there to be a way to make DIY furniture before you get to level 400 that is a really disappointing feature in this game. One more comment I have told all of my friends about it and they feel the same way. it would be so great if you would put some of these features in the next update. Love the game but could be better. I’ve been playing this game for a while now. I’m about 3400 levels in. My issue with the game isn’t the fact that there is no way to earn free diamonds, that doesn’t really bother me. It’s how difficult it is to accrue coins after a certain level. I’m on level 3421, where you can earn up to 975 coins for beating a level (1950 for hard levels). Many of the pieces in the design challenges cost 8,000 + coins. So you have to play about 10 levels to get enough coins to add one furniture/decor item in the design challenge. I don’t mind the match 3 games, but I downloaded this game mainly for the design aspect. Having to play so many levels to do one thing is quite annoying and time consuming. I also think it would be a good idea to add an option where you can see how much of a room you’ve completed once you get to the third room of a challenge. If you press the arrow button while you’re on part one or two of a design challenge, it will tell you have, let’s say, completed 79% of the current room. But once you get to the third room, the arrow is gone since it’s the last room, so there no way of knowing how much more you have to complete before you can move on to the next challenge.

I recommend. Hi property brothers is an amazing game that you get to put in furniture that you think looks good. Also it is a good game for people who like spending money on your house. Anyway there are like zero adds in this game. I know that makes some of you want to get it because then you get more time on your game. Also property brothers is no money to install the app. Sometimes when I say money some people think I mean actual money. But you have to pass levels to get the money. The money is not actually real it is fake. So you can only use it on this game. No you do not have to log in. I just got this yesterday and I love it. I am only on level 24 but I love this game. Right now I am working on the kitchen. Also the nice thing is that you can choose what colors you want the furniture. I recommend this because of all of their good quality’s. Also if you are someone who doesn’t like this kind of stuff that’s okay . But please try out their other games. Thank you for reading this

Really tried to give this a chance.... I really tried to give this app a chance but it seems it’s less about being a fun design game tied to the Property Brothers and more a Candy Crush-esque game, but more money-hungry. The piggyback with diamonds is the worst concept ever. They dangle this bank in front of you in every level with the hope that you’ll finally break down and BUY the diamonds that you’ve EARNED by playing the game. Who thought of this??? Also, the puzzle games start out easy enough but you get to the point where it starts getting unbearably difficult that it takes multiple tries to get through one level before you end up running out of energy which then results in it taking days to finish renovating ONE room. Who has the time to check back multiple times a day to replenish energy and finish earning enough coins or tickets to finish a room...not a project...but ONE ROOM. This game put WAYYY too much focus on these puzzles and making them so difficult that you hardly even get to design, which is the main reason I, and I’m sure many others, downloaded this app. In my opinion, they made the games difficult so people would break down and pay for diamonds to be able to quickly get to the renovation portion of the game. What a fail.

Property Brothers Home Design. Property Brothers Home Design is very fun. Solving puzzles, meeting new clients, and choosing things for the house you are currently working on is very fun. I love playing Property Brothers Home Design, but I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 because it is a bit challenging. The puzzles, specifically. Also, I don’t believe in spending money on games so if I'm out of gems or tokens, I cannot purchase anymore. I know that sounds like a me problem but I have an equalized problem with Property Brothers Home Design. It is that I have to wait pretty long to get more lives for the puzzles. The object of this game is to design houses for clients. You need to use tokens to pay for what you do to the house, for example, adding a chandelier. That costs you tokens and if you don’t have any, you play puzzles to get them. The puzzles are challenging as the levels rise. This game is based off of the TV show, Property Brothers Home Design. In the game and TV show, the main characters are brothers. They are Drew and Jonathan Scott. Anyway, the game is very fun. You should download it even though it has flaws. It’s fun and if you aren’t like me and you do believe in wasting money on games, you will love this game and be engaged to it. Have fun.

FRUSTRATING! But good.... sorta. I think about deleting this daily. This game takes at least 2-3 WEEKS to finish ONE ROOM (3 rooms to a home) playing a min of 3x everyday. You get 5 lives. Approx every 3rd level is designated as “Hard”. It’s not really hard. It’s just designed to make you lose, to force you to buy gems. Each level wins about $700 but the cost of items increases every level. A stove in the beginning cost about $1200. I am level 700 and my stoves are costing between $6000 apiece. Other higher ranked players complain the stove is up to $17,000 when you get way up in levels. Yet We’re still winning the same amount of $700 per level. The game is already hard enough and so it takes me 9 levels to get a stove. Our I’ve been playing for THREE DAYS and I’m still on the same level. U It’s insane how long it takes. You just lose again and again and it’s maddening. They do give gifts, an hour of lives etc but it’s not that often. Other games offer way more power ups. This game is intended for the player to spend money. Period. Yet I love the design aspect. That’s super fun. But the odds are stacked and I am often aggravated. Bottom line: Great game but you need to play knowing you’ll either pay money for gems or it will take a stupid long, long, loooong time to finish a room. The Property Brothers need to be told that this game is aggravating.

Repetitive. This was one of my favorite “match three games“ since it’s just a little bit different by eliminating groups of blocks rather than swapping gems, and I really liked the decorating portion of the game. Similar to Homescapes, but with much more realistic remodels, that I thought might be giving me ideas for my own home! But has anybody else gotten to a high enough level to realize that the game just keeps repeating itself? Thus, the reason for my low rating. I'm on level 1378, and I was feeling like I had played many of the levels previously, but I started the game again on a different device and just reached level 400. Within the last 10 or 20 levels I realized my two devices are matching up game after game, despite the vast difference in level number. Also, as other reviewer’s have stated the game does not give you any additional earnings the higher you go, but the cost of the remodel is becoming significantly higher. At this point I now have to win at least 10 levels for every single item that I “purchase“ for my upgrade. As for the people who complain that you have to spend real money to play this game, they are wrong. Yes, you do have to spend real money to get gems, but the gems aren’t necessary to the game. No, you may not be able to refill your lives, or pay for extra moves without them, but that doesn’t mean that they are required.

Major Disappointment. This app is about one thing only, making more money for the already rich Property Brothers. It is not a game about design - as the design options are few. You are required to play through several layers of unrelated games to earn cash or tickets. Completing a level is difficult at best. It takes 3-6 explosions just to clear 1 wooden box and there are many along with other obstacles that must be removed. Bottom line is that you’ll spend hours trying to complete a level to earn a fourth or third of what you need to purchase the opportunity to design one piece of the room - spending as much as $2000 for a plant! The reality is that they want you to buy extra lives and the explosives to complete the level. It’s funny - after spending hours or days trying to beat a level, all of a sudden the game gives you numerous bombs and you’re able to complete the level without any problem whatsoever. How is that possible? It’s by design, to keep you hooked. If you’re looking for a design game or app - this is not what you’re looking for. This is nothing but an attempt at a money grab! I thought better of the brothers. Guess I was wrong. Now I know some will say the brothers aren’t developing the game, but they are allowing their name to be used and I’m sure they have some say. What could have been an awesome design game is just another bubble busting game. My bubble was busted for sure.

Property Brothers game is a great way to kill time & your bank account!. I enjoy playing the game, I’m on level 2999 so I must! I’m not happy that I’m order to get there I’ve spent hundreds of dollars in about 3 months time because the higher you go, the harder some levels are to reach. At least I now receive 10 lives when I fill my meter. I’ve read the reviews of people still only getting 5 lives. There should be more diamonds awarded, maybe for every 20 levels or so, that’d makea nice reward. My BIGGEST complaint is when you win a free hour you MUST play it immediately. There should be a way of banking that! One night I played for THREE STRAIGHT HOURS because I had just completed a room for the first free hour then passed to level 2000 and won two hours. Unfortunately for me, I won at midnight so I sat here until after 3:00 a.m. so I wouldn’t lose my free turns. Sometimes I only pass 3-4 levels in that free hour because some levels are so difficult to get through…unless you pay for it!! I’ve been trying hard NOT to spend money on the game anymore but I still get frustrated and can easily spend $20 in a night! Being on a fixed income, that’s money I SHOULDN’T be spending on a game!!

Loved at first sight..... This is probably the first review I have written. If I don’t like a game I usually just delete it and move on. But I’m hoping beyond hope that this game improves or I will just delete it. I loved this game at first. The easy levels were fun and the hard levels were just hard enough to give you a challenge but keep you engaged. Now, I’m on level 639 and it seems like it takes me weeks to get enough $$ to finish a house. And forget any of the extra challenges, I don’t bother anymore because there’s no way to make it through in time. Even the easy levels have become hard and sometimes take me days to complete. They have “boosters” sometimes but if you can’t even get through 1 level you obviously get no help there. The only way to move on is more lives which of course you need gems and of course they give you no way to earn gems, you can only buy them. This game has unfortunately become a real cash money game and I don’t play games like that. I want the option to spend my money - not feel like I’m being forced to spend it just to get anywhere in the game. Really Disappointed with Property Brothers game.

Why the ads all of a sudden???. Okay I actually really really like this game! I have ADD and it’s really hard for me to find games I can stick with long term and this has become one of them for sure. The designs are beautiful and the match-3 game is actually one of the more fun ones I’ve played. There are definitely levels that are hard just to put you at a standstill and get you to spend money, but overall, it’s not too bad. That’s why I HATE having to leave a review (something I’ve done maybe 5 times in my life on like anything??), but I have to let people know how INCESSANT these ads have gotten. I opened the app maybe 2 days ago and, all of a sudden, there was an option to watch ads for extra moves before and after a level. Honestly? Not the worst thing, I’ve kind of been hoping for an update like that for those few stupidly hard levels. But now they’re popping up more and more frequently, like every other level type frequency?? And for what?? I know nobody who actually gets the money for these games is actually in a pinch for cash. So why the VERY abrupt overabundance of the same 4 ads?? Seriously, it’s a good game, but I’m considering deleting it. The gameplay isn’t worth it if it’s blocked by all the ads. Not to mention the fact that it’s actually messing up the game itself, causing major lagging and glitching that has NEVER happened before these ads started. Really hoping this issue gets resolved soon, but if not, it was a fun run while it lasted.

Good/ ok game👍👎. So first of all, I just want to say how nice this game is, it’s a way for me to relax and enjoy my morning or evening, but there are some issues with this game. First I fill up my piggy bank and it says it’s full so I have to buy a new piggy bank, I’m ok with spending a little money, but that’s not the problem, the problem is when I play the side game to get coins to purchase furniture and what not it gives me the option to either quit, or to spend 90 diamonds on five more moves, so I try to press the diamond button but it says that I ONLY have 20 diamonds which is not true. So instead of playing on and winning who knows how much money, I wind up losing and waiting to gets my lives back so o can do it again, and I’ll admit I’m not good at the side game. So, I would have gave this game a ten star( I can’t, but if I could I would), but I only gave it a three because of my issue, it could have been worse, but there are NO ADS! In any game that I have gotten, there has always been ads, so that’s the good side on it. Thanks for reading my review! I love this game but.... I have 600 gems in my piggy bank but can’t access them. It says I can upgrade my piggy bank to store more gems, but why would I if I can’t access them? Gems can get you more lives and moves in the game. The only time I had enough gems to add more lives was the first time I played. Ever since then I have earned a ton of gems but cannot access them from my piggy bank. I’ve tried to look my problem up on google and every review I’ve seen says that the app creator has not answered the question of why nobody can access their gems. I love the game because of the levels, and I love the levels more than actually customizing the rooms. The thing is that it is extremely hard to play the levels because if you get to a hard level and can’t achieve it, you either have to use your boosts or if you don’t have any boosts you have to wait at least 30 minutes for 1 life. There are rewards you can achieve to have infinite life for an 1 hour to 3 hours, but once you run out, and you have enough gems in your piggy bank, there is no way to access them. Also, to refill your lives or add 5 moves to your game it is 90 gems, and you only start out with 100. I am on level 902 so I obviously like the game, but would like to express my issues with it.

Could be a a whole lot better. First, I love the puzzles! Lots of fun. But overall, this game needs A LOT OF IMPROVEMENTS. Some of the puzzles are just way too hard. You could spend hours on the same puzzle. And since there aren’t enough lives (only 5), this often amounts to days of frustration (and at this point, boredom). And you have to wait 3 hours just to get 5 tries. Second, this game is a potential money guzzler. And with no real benefit. Same frustration of getting bored after spending hours on the same dumb puzzle. And nothing you buy is a permanent upgrade. Just endless spending. Why can’t you EARN unlimited lives and earn it permanently? Or watch the dumb commercials to earn things? Third, you can’t decide WHEN you use your unlimited lives. And you can’t pause it. Why? This is just dumb. And frustrating. And when use a power up, it is randomly placed on the board (usually in a useless place). You should allow the player to select where the power up is placed? While the design part of the game is okay, the puzzles are the best part. If you fix it, it could become a great game by all by itself! Oh. And it is impossible to get a refund EVEN WHEN THE PURCHASE DOEST WORK! I just decided to never make a purchase again. Not worth it. Rip off. And there are free games out there that are design much better.

Meh could be so much better. I do love this game. I have had it for just about two years now. The part that bothers me is it becomes way to difficult to play, not that the levels are any “harder” but it’s almost made to trap you into wanting to buy diamonds to keep playing. I came for the design aspect and the further in the game you get the more actual puzzle levels you play just to be able to do the design part of the game. I did enjoy having the option to watch adds for additional lives instead of spending actual money, I absolutely hated that it would make you open your App Store after every add before moving forward with the game. I actually stopped playing for about six months because it became so difficult and lost the fun aspect that initially drew me in. The adds helped a little but there are definitely some kinks they should have worked through with them. Not having full volume videos and not making you open your App Store are the two major factors. I am sad to see the free option leave and I’ll likely not play for awhile or if at all again. It stresses me out at this point which is the opposite of what it should do. After reading many reviews I’m clearly not alone in my thoughts on this.

Misses the mark. This game should be fun. It’s not. As a designer, it should be, because it’s made by designers- right? No. Choices are very limited- and there are times when choosing between 3 items is not fun because I wouldn’t actually choose any of those options in real life for my clients. Or, the items are way more expensive than they would be in reality, so you’re constantly trying to earn more just to put in one more thing. Having a game within the game to earn tickets, money, etc. is extremely annoying. First, the games don’t give you very much of a payout- if you can even beat the games in the higher levels. I spend more time trying to get more tender than I do actually designing. Second, having to pay to empty the piggy bank is frustrating- just seems like this is a ploy to earn more money- just like paying to get extra diamonds, money, etc. You don’t get very much for what you’re paying in. There’s too many games that want people to pay for extra “money” already, and in this economy that is just not okay. I would not recommend this game. I tried to give it a go, but now I am deleting it. There’s other designing games that are way less frustrating than this one. Less commentary for each item placed would also be helpful. Sorry, Scott bros- not sorry.

Too Much of the “Other” Game, Not enough decorating. So, here’s the deal. I love the part of the game when we get to make choices (although you only choose between 3 options that may or may not be your style and don’t get to choose the placement, as it appears in the Ad I saw) and decorate/revitalize spaces. However, the amount of time you have to spend on the “other” game you have to play to earn “money” or “tickets” far outweighs the time you get to spend playing the game you actually want to play. I’m talking at least 10:1. So, for example, spend 10 minutes playing a candy-crush offshoot type game to earn money in order to be able to decorate/paint/etc. 4-5 items/area within, say, 1 minute. Then you are out of “money” and have to play more random games for more. You don’t earn or accrue any of the game’s currency over time/daily, etc. You can play the games to get some, but diamonds can only be purchased with actual dollars from your bank account. I think I’ve spent like $20-30 this week and have decorated 2 rooms and have completed only part of a home exterior and garden. So, in a nutshell, lots of real money needed and time playing another random game to get very little time playing the decorating portion. I hope this gets fixed! Otherwise, I’m going back to playing “Design Home”. Sorry guys! I do think your placement and timing for pop up ads for purchasing things is genius. Tricked me several times! I give you a slow clap and head nod for that!

Fun but money waster. Ill admit, it is a fun game to play.. however, i swear its rigged because once you reach like level 60 or around there, it is almost impossible to pass the levels because there is not enough moves and then you use all of your energy very quickly so you are not able to play for like 30 minutes to around 2 hours while they refill. The time challenges are also way too short also taking everything into consideration. There is more but i guess that is the most annoying problem in the game because if you run out of moves, you have to spend 90 gems to get such a small amount of extra moves(5) and then you can easily run out of moves and then you have to keep spending and taking it all into consideration together, it can get very annoying at times and really makes me want to throw my phone because its fun but this is really almost a dealbreaker especially when you get almost addicted to the game. However, if that was fixed, the game is actually very fun and i would say probably better than all of the other types of these games put there for so many reasons (especially because its so realistic and I especially like the tap feature in the levels instead of the swiping gems situation ) + more , all of the other games also have way too many ads and the graphics are horrible and have so many pop ups and “tutorials” that just waste time all around and it is just so annoying which is why i really like this game over the other ones also.

Couple suggestions. Great game, fun to play when I need something to pass the time, but there are a few things that could make it better. First, limited time challenges should be longer than three days. Once you get further in the game, it’s harder to win levels, which means harder to earn tickets, and less chance of completing the limited time challenges before they expire, especially when every change to the room costs around eighty tickets. When you only get around twenty tickets in one level (although in some you earn much less) it will take a while to actually make one change. At the very least, changes should be less expensive. You could also make it to where on hard levels, tickets are doubled just like the coins. Second, we should be able to choose when we get to use the prizes. If we earn a one hour life prize, we should be able to choose when to use it, not just when we earn it because sometimes I’m not able to use it right then and then it just goes to waste. Finally, it should be easier to earn diamonds. Except for the occasional time when you can watch a video to earn ten diamonds, the only time you can get diamonds is if you buy them. So once you use them, you’re out of luck unless you want to spend real money on them. All in all, this is a fun game that could be even better with just a few adjustments.

Don’t be fooled by the ads.... So basically I was bored and wanted to get a new game to play! The Fixer Upper game shut down or whatever, so I decided to download this one. I was expecting sort of a similar concept to the Fixer Upper game after watching the Ad, but it is so different that the Advertisement doesn’t even seem like it’s advertising the right app. See it seems like the point of the game is to design houses, earn money which allows you to design MORE houses right? WRONG. The point of the game is to design houses, but not really. You purchase a cabinet or piece of furniture, then play a boring basic puzzle game, then do it over and over again. And you’d think that they would at least TRY to focus on the puzzle game right? WRONG. It was the most basic candy crush game, but instead of candy it’s boring colored squares. I mean if you’re that bored, sure get the game, but if you actually wanna play a fun game, play DESIGN HOME!!! You design houses which allows you to get profit, and design more houses! The houses are from everywhere and it allows you to design a certain style, using actual furniture that allows on websites and such. It may not have two twin men celebs to represent it, but it makes sense and I’ve had it for 2 months and haven’t stopped playing it. Hope it helped!

Need more diamonds and lives. The idea of the game is good. There are two things I think should be taken into account, getting more diamonds with buying it with actual real life money and the time limit on a new life. If I’m to pick which game to play... Property Brother’s and let’s say... Candy Crush and Best Frends , I would play the Candy Crush or Best Frends. The only reason why is because the time limit to regenerate a life is way less then 30 minutes. Best Frends is only 5 minutes. It also lets me win more lives, coins and gold so I don’t have to use my money from my pockets to buy more. I think that if the Property Brother’s game is updated to have a short regenerated life time and also let us be able to earn more diamonds this would be a gunner game. Right now, I’m down to only 20 diamonds and will not get more unless my buy them. This entire day I was only able to play about 4 times because I’m on a hard level and it takes about 5 minutes to use all 5 lives. Do the math... 1 live equals 30 minutes, to get all 5 lives you will have to wait 2 hours and 30 minutes. Or wait out the 30 minutes and play that new life in under 1 minute and 15-30 seconds.

I’m on level 1600 and spent $0. Here are my thoughts:. I’ve been playing this game most days for a couple months now and I really do enjoy the candy crush rip off game as well as the designing part. I’ve spent NO actual money on this game, so don’t believe the review stat say you have to spend money. If you have some patience you can spend zero! It really is a matching game (candy crush style) with designing a room being more of the “reward” for doing so. Some levels can truly take hours or even day to finish (if you don’t have a free hour and are working off of your 5 lives). I’m up to level 1600 and I’d say that I loved playing the first 1000 levels, however my rating is going down rapidly due to the following: 1. Ads are starting to pop up randomly which they NEVER did before. I get it, it’s a free app, but I’m annoyed that they just started showing up. 2. The cost of choosing design elements has gone up a CRAZY amount! It used to cost around 1200 coins, now a chair or plant can cost 8000! Doing the math on the percentages, the room I’m currently designing will take me over 100,000 coins to complete. That’s almost 100 levels of the matching game. Kind of insane guys. I really hope you fix this!

Great Game. I don’t really write reviews but I thought this one needed one, it’s a great game but there is one thing I would like you to add, you should make it so you can skip a level for an ad because I’ve been stuck on 93 for a while and it’s kind of annoying, so if you added that it would be great and I bet you would make more money off of it. Other than that this game is awesome it doesn’t need WiFi so I love playing it whenever we go on road trips. Ok there is one thing that I forgot to write yesterday so here ya go... so when you get unlimited lives for a certain amount of time I usually am gonna be done after I finish the ten levels to get the unlimited lives, so you should be able to activate the lives whenever you want. So after you loose all your lives it can offer to start that or there is a button that if you click it it has an inventory of all the unlimited lives that you have unlocked and you can activate it. I hope you add this because it’s annoying because my mom put OurPact on my phone so I can have one hour, and usually it kicks me off the game right when I get the gift. Hopefully you can understand why you should add these features for all the OurPact kids on here ok bye I’m done

Bonus time, Hard levels, and other things. When you complete a room you get an hour of free time. But what if I can’t use it right then because I have to go to work or Mom calls and needs me right then. Simple, it goes bye bye. The time runs down and you don’t get to play it. You are forced to use it or lose it. I have run into this on other match-3 games and get so frustrated over the lost time I eventually quit. PLEASE, make it an option to use the time right then, OR save it for a little later. You could put a limit of 24-48 hours on using it, but at least it would give us a chance to use it when it is more convenient. Regarding the Hard puzzles...Some of them are so hard it seems like all you guys play the level and whoever does it in the least amount of moves subtracts one from that amount and that is the number for us to play. Is that by design? I spent over an hour of my free time on ONE level this morning. Lastly, I’d like to say that I really do like this game. I enjoy choosing between the different things available. I’m looking forward to the upcoming updates.

suggestions. i’ve been playing for a quit some time now i’m on level 8644 sometimes it takes me forever to bet levels and then just barely pass them i love the game but i think the amount of time it takes to get more life’s is a little to long and only having 3 days to complete challenges is a fair amount but sometimes i’m not able to finish because i get stuck on such hard levels and then only get like 10 tickets from it. Also i think on hard levels the tickets should also double as the coins do and i think we should be able to choose when we use the hour of unlimited life’s because there’s times i’m not able to use it and it goes to complete waste and i think there should be some rewards for reaching such high levels especially when the price of buying things to design the houses are so expensive and you can’t get at least 1000 coins on each level unless it’s a hard level then it doubles but sometimes i feel like the coin amount should be higher or the price of things should be a little lower. otherwise i love the game.

This Game Could Be Awesome. So, I’m really enjoying the design concept of this game- when you can actually do the design part. This is another Candy Crush copycat where you spend more time trying to complete these ridiculous puzzles in order to “earn” money to actually do the renovations. Each piece of the renovation costs a lot of money so you end up having to complete at least three puzzles just to incorporate one design. You only get five chances to complete a puzzle before you are out of lives. Then they want you to spend your money to buy more chances. The puzzles are not easy. The one thing that kills me is that each time you complete a puzzle, you earn gems that go into a piggy bank. Here’s the kicker- they limit the number of jewels you collect and when the piggy bank is full, the only way to empty it to use the jewels to buy more lives, you have to pay $2.99- even though you earned the jewels. You need them in order to buy more chances to solve the puzzle. I love when you get to do the decorating, but it takes forever to do that. What’s going to end up happening is that I’m going to start resenting Drew and Jonathan because every time I get frustrated from not solving a puzzle I hear them say “Oh, so close.” Really Property Brothers? I just want to design houses!!

Ok. So when I first downloaded this game it was in the car coming home from Florida and I live in North Carolina so it was about an eight hour drive. I needed something to pass the time so I downloaded this game because I love designing and building things. And at first the levels were very easy to beat but once you get to level 55 the levels get impossible. Also if you don’t pass a level on the first try it takes a life away and once you run out of life’s you have to wait 20 minutes each time to get one life. Also you are helping clients the whole time I thought that you could design ur own house for yourself. But no. Also you r probably wondering what the “levels” are and this game is more of candy crush or solitaire. Because that’s the levels and most of the time you spend in the levels so it’s not what it appears. You earn money by beating each level. And with the money that’s how you by stuff to redecorate the house. I do like how you can go back and change the houses that you designed previously. And THERE IS NO ADDS!!!!!! But the re is so many in app purchases and it takes up all the room on ur screen. So if you are really desperate for this game do it get. But if your like me I would rather have gotten a game similar. Because none of the other reviews told me this so I thought 💭 t was a good app but boy how wrong I was.I hope this was helpful have a amazing day !!❤️❤️

A few changes. The game is ok but could use lots of adjustments. First every game I play like this gives you daily sign in bonuses and diamonds. You don’t offer anything like that. Next the puzzles I swear it’s like they’re deliberately rigged and timed for failure unless you spend real money to buy them. The 30 min timer is really a very horrible idea not for this game but any game. After you win a challenge your offered no prizes other than the money for your items in the house your renovating. It’s not even enough to pick one feature in the design room. After every match some sort of bomb buster should be also given as a prize and you should be able to keep it and not loose it when you loose the next round because your puzzles are ridiculously insane to pass in moves allotted. Also my games offers no video or freebie to get any additional diamonds that’s really upsurge, you should offer your players chances and opportunities. I’m not saying the game is bad it’s just flawed. No opportunities, no daily diamonds, and challenges taking like 20 guys to pass is a little discouraging and aggravating. I’m sure it will get me to the point of game deletion. Don’t take my review for it play the game and see if you feel the same. Thank you

Fun but very expensive. Does not give enough rewards.. I love playing this game and I love the room designs. What I don’t love is how much money you have to spend to advance in this game. They also don’t reward you with anything except coins. I have millions of coins at this point but I don’t need them. What I need is boosters and diamonds but they very rarely reward you with those. You have to beat 1000 levels in order to get one of each booster. Or you have to earn thousands of coupons and play A LOT for 3 days straight in order to stay on top of the leaderboard. Lame! I play other games that reward with boosters and gems all the time. The makers of this game seem to be very greedy because they are not willing to give decent rewards for all your hard work and would rather you spend real money. I’m on level 27,000. Imagine how much money I’ve spent. I don’t even want to know! Give better rewards especially to your long time players! Lastly I saw someone else’s suggestion about letting us choose when we use our free play instead of having it be automatic and go to waste. Great idea! Oh and please bring booster rewards back to team chest and possibly rallies. That would be amazing!

Greedy let-down.. Prop Brothers show present you guys as stand-up honest professionals. Not looking to take advantage of their clients by over charging or under providing. So I guess I naively expected the same on their app. There are several game apps that are very similar to this one and they are ALL THE SAME. When first starting, the game makes it just easy enough to win rewards. But here is where my first disappointment in you guys. Just like all the other similar games, after making it reasonable easy to win, and get you hooked and invested, the game’s difficulty levels shoots up, the cost of items go up. The game rounds that are supposed to help earn coins or tickets become more and more difficult to complete. You offer double rewards if you win on your first try and if by some miracle you succeed, the doubled $ prize is barely enough to purchase a single item for whatever room we’re working on. The gem packages are ridiculously over priced and does not buy you much booster wise. I could keep going with many mor examples of this app being nothing more than a greedy money grab. At the very least, if you’re going to make each level harder and harder, you should raise the prize $ each time you raise the difficulty level! I’ll be blunt. If you strip down this game app to its base framework, you are left with a carnival game that you know it’s rigged against you. Greedy greedy money-grab. Very little integrity. Shame on you, property brothers.

Why can’t we make more money???. Well... I’m on level 1385, so I won’t pretend that I’m totally disappointed in the game, but here’s where I’m getting frustrated: you never make more than $975 when u complete a puzzle, but the prices to remodel go up for each project. For instance, my rehabs are averaging $5-6k per task, but you only make less than $1k per game. That is ridiculous and unnecessarily time consuming. On hard levels, they double your money... but never your tickets! That’s stupid because hard levels are extremely hard... actually regular levels are extremely hard if I’m honest. Don’t get me started on the inconsistency of getting gloves for a restoration project. I’ve played two rounds, back to back, and not one single glove appeared. But I digress. Overall, it would be great if the amount earned for completing a puzzle was much higher... no less than $2500. And similar to games like toy blast, you should get a bonus for moves left over after completing a level. I’ve cleared a level with 15 moves left... it would be awesome if each move was an extra $100 in addition to my winnings. But nope, winnings are always somewhere between $750-$900.

Cant stop playing!!!. Phenomenal game. I have been a long-time fan of the Property Brothers. Well, fan is putting it lightly. I more-so have a Property Brothers obsession, as said to me by my therapist, Joanne. Joanne finds it strange that I personally identify as the long lost, 4th property brother. She says it is a coping mechanism for my lack of brotherly kinship as a child. However, the truth to me is that I am the 4th and final property brother: the final boss in Property Brotherhood. I believe that not only should the home be open concept, but so should be the mind to brotherly love and property ownership. Alas, I do have but one critique. Since Property Brothers game came out, I have not stopped playing it. It is now inflicting on my day to day life, particularly, my love life. Nobody believes me when I say that I’m the 4th property brother, and frankly, it has weirded girls out. I wish that my fellow property brothers could make a property brothers dating app, so that I could possibly find likeminded people such as myself, and maybe, just maybe even find a Property Lover. Extremely Disappointed in Ads. Updating my review to add- if your game is rated 4+ then the ads you allow should not be rated above 4+. The content of the ads are awful. The version I have is fantastic, I would give it five stars if it were simply about the game. I do not have to deal with ads but my older daughter put it on her phone and her version has ads. I needed to stay awake last night so I played on hers to earn her some coins so she can do the room designs. The ads for another game were vulgar and sexual and unbelievable. It’s one of those life choice games- the way they portray women and then men cheating on them is shocking. That game said it was for 9+. I would not want any 9 year old seeing women being treated that way. And I’m going to say it here because other parents need to know- there was a very suggestive scene of a cartoon women performing a sexual act on a man and his wife walks in. This ad didn’t just pop up once it was repeated over and over. I’m hoping it was just because I was playing late- she is not allowed her phone that late. But if I see it today- the app will be deleted. It’s a shame because the game is great. You really need to vet which ads you allow on your game. Disgusting is the only word I can think of.

Fun but frustrating. Fun to play to pass time, love the design elements and choices. However, there are a few things that I find quite frustrating that could be improved. The cost of coins/tickets/diamonds required to add design elements are so high, it can take ages to complete a room. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a challenge, but sometimes it’s so tedious just to add a plant, and it is very difficult to earn coins or diamonds unless you pay to play. Also, does anyone actually read or enjoy the constant pop up conversations with the clients that happen after every design choice is made or placed? I find it redundant and not interesting or integral to the game play, so I surely can’t be the only one who always hits the “skip” button to get out of the conversations immediately? It would be great if there was an option to only see what the clients preferences are for design choice and elements, and turn off the whole conversation bit with the brothers. Lastly, while I get adds are a part of the free to play, they’re constant, and most of the time 30 seconds. It would be nice to have more adds that are a shorter time frame. That being said, it’s still a fun and relaxing game, but it could use more options and improvements.

Too difficult. The most satisfying part of this game is making all the new design choices. However, earning the money to make those choices is a frustratingly slow process. Perhaps I’m just terrible at this type of color matching game, but no matter how long I stare at a board before making my first move, it’s just too difficult to predict how eliminating certain blocks will affect the rest of the board. I often know if I’m going to lose before I’ve run out of moves, which is frustrating. I regularly exhaust all five lives trying to complete one round, so after all that, I’ve earned no money to progress with the part of the game I actually like. Impatience is how this game earns money—want more lives? Spend some gems! Ran out of gems? Buy more with real money! I would have to spend real money everyday if I wanted to make any sort of daily progress. Cannot recommend, but the graphics and design “reveals” are super satisfying. If the game developers made a time management or hidden object version of this game, I’d be all over it. As it is, it’s basically unplayable (and not worth the money I’d have to spend to move forward).

Gets too hard ... feel forced to spend $$. I’ve been loving this game for about a month and have gotten pretty far (level 1254) and in the last couple days the puzzle games have gotten extremely hard. I’ve been used to getting stuck on one every once in a while but now it’s every other level, I have to try 5-7 times sometimes just to beat it- maybe more! I am easily frustrated by this and have ended up spending money just to be able to keep playing to beat a level. It’s not worth it. Also, the further you get in the game, the more expensive everything becomes within the game, making it more and more difficult to complete rooms. On top of that the actual home design part is only so-so. Most of the designs end up being beautiful but you don’t really have many options. The layout etc is already planned, you just get to choose between three styles of couch, art, plant or whatever. Sometimes there is just too much stuff in the room, but you have no say in it. Overall I have enjoyed this game with its combination of puzzle game and home design, but with the frustration and amount of money I’ve spent just to get though levels, I’ll be deleting it after I use up my last gems.

AMAZING. This game is the BEST! I had no trouble with ads even being on WiFi, so I never had any interruptions during my game. This game was suuuupppeeerrrr fun to play and I became addicted really quickly. I do have 3 downsides though. 1, everything is really expensive which I get it; your building a house and it makes sense it’s all expensive. 2, it would be nice if they could give you daily gifts with power ups and energy time so you have unlimited energy for like an hour or something. And 3, It would be nice if they could start you off on each level with 3 of each different kind of power up so you can choose to use one to help you on a really hard level; if you know what I mean! But overall I love this game and there are absolutely no ads, at least for me there aren’t and no, I did not buy something that made their be no ads I just simply played the game and magically no ads popped up! I love designing homes and furniture so this game was a good and fun game for me to play in my spare time. It doesn’t cost thinking so when your brain is tired this is the perfect game to play! But overall absolutely no complaints at all!!!

Daily Bonus. Ok, I give up on many things you could do to improve this fun game, and when it first came out I had read where you were going to lower the price of items to buy to finish a room and actually for a while that’s what I thought I noticed, now the amounts have gotten huge. During this crazy time we are having with the Coronavirus, how about some free play? I can go through my 5 chances in under 3 to fine minutes and still never finish the level, heck, sometimes it takes a day of continuous trying and I still may not clear it 😳😷🤒🤧Final Update: do you actually care what so many of us are trying to explain to the developers of this game? Because it has almost become ridiculous how difficult some of these levels are. Update: by taking the time to read other reviews it made me feel like I am not the only one having issues, please please please update because I truly enjoy the game but the developers have made it almost impossible. Original review:I really enjoy the game but some levels are too difficult by far, if that’s done this way to make you have to purchase more moves it’s really unfortunate because it’s happening very often and I am on level 106; so I know how to play games. All other games at least give you a daily bonus or credit of some kind, please make a few tweaks because all that said I really do enjoy the game.

Game Designed to Addict It’s Players. I’m very disappointed with the Property Brothers for having an app that is designed purposely to addict those playing. It does this by requiring you to earn dollars to design rooms by playing a matching game. The matching games are manipulated to get harder and harder to keep you playing. When they get too hard so that you’re playing the same round for days, it magically gets easier and you suddenly win with no change in strategy. This causes a release in dopamine or some other neurotransmitter that keeps you chasing the next win. I don’t use this app to play a dumb matching game. I like to design. I also play Design Home where designing a room is not tied to a silly, unrelated matching game included only to manipulate your brain chemistry. Shame on you Property Brothers!! It’s getting harder and harder to win the matching games so I cannot even finish the timed design challenges. The costs of designing is getting ridiculously expensive and it takes days or weeks to finish a design. I really don’t care to do any furniture restoration. This is done to include one of their wives in the game. This should be a separate game for those who enjoy that type of thing. I may stop playing this game because it is just not fun anymore and I’m doing less and less designing, which is why I started playing in the first place!

Home Design Flop. I was really looking forward to downloading this game because the advertisements showed a new and unique home design game. What I wasn’t expecting was having to complete so many near-impossible levels to get a small amount of coins or tickets (when compared to the cost of items), making me lose interest in this game quickly. It was addicting at the beginning, but shortly after I reached level 100 I realized how manipulative this game actually is. I still enjoy the game and the idea, also the in-game bonuses, rewards, and the graphics for the homes and characters are great, BUT I could work on completing a level for a solid 2 weeks without getting any good combinations for the matching game, go through the weekend challenges and be stuck on a hard level, yet as soon as the weekend is over I magically have the right combos to complete the level? It is so sketchy to me that their algorithms force people into paying actual money in order to get boosters and pass levels!!! It is just not what I was expecting from this game at all, especially with the Property Brothers name attached to it. If you’re looking for a fun, easy, home design game this ain’t it sis.

A little concern. I love the game and think that it is super fun! Having to work with clients and design homes is relaxing and interesting! However, I think that the fact that you lose a life if you don’t complete a puzzle makes the game less fun and frustrating. I find myself waiting to get the next life just to lose it. Although I love the property brothers, their show, and this app; I feel like taking away lives is a grab for money. You have to buy diamonds, so this game already makes money. However, Drew and Jonathan already have a fortune and forcing players to either wait or spend money on lives is unfair and not cool. I think that they should just let players enjoy the game without fearing that they would fail the puzzle and then have to wait . If this review could be taken into consideration and maybe be worked on in the next update I would deeply appreciate it. I love this game so far except for the flaw of lives or lighting bolts at the top of the screen. I definitely would recommend this to all my friends and continue to play. Thank you for your time😊☺️

Best App EVER. Omg! So I just found this game on an ad, and fell in LOVE. Not only do I like home design, I am OBSESSED with the Property Brothers!! I downloaded this app, and it was absolutely awesome. There are other home design apps that literally make you watch an ad to get coins, and everything is SO EXPENSIVE! But with this app, not much is slowing me down. And the fact that the Property Brothers are encouraging me?! It makes the project go by a lot faster. I thought this was going to be a standard home design app- WATCH THESE ADS TO GET COINS! BUY THE NEXT LEVEL! UH-OH! YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH COINS! WATCH A BILLION LONG ADS TO GET MORE!- but no. It’s not your average game. So for those of you who are on the fence, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app. It calms me down and is very easy to play, and there aren’t many ads and pop-ups. And the Property Brothers are there too so.... it’s awesome. I also really like how you add puzzles so you can get coins! It’s extremely fun and it relieves my stress. Loved this game…until they got greedy. I really got into this game. Not only are the puzzles fun, I love being able to design spaces. They finally added teams which was great but they keep taking away fun parts of the game. The biggest change happened this weekend. The weekend challenge was always everyone’s favorite. We could earn boosters by passing levels on the first try. First you get bombs, then dynamite and finally a barrel of TNT. As long as you passed the round on the first try, you got to keep the booster. It helped you stay in the game longer. If you lost a round, you lost your boosters and had to start over to regain them. I am at the point where I only like to play the game on the weekend because of the boosters. They should have them all the time like most other puzzle games. I also really did like the weekend challenge. Everyone on my team is complaining. They also give us next to no free time so we can get past levels we are stuck on. We used to get free time for reaching certain milestones and achieving goals. All of that has been taken away. I paid a lot of money to play this game but that was when they were also giving me something of value in return. This is just a rip off. Bring back free play, boosters and the weekend challenge!!!

Property Brothers. I love the game, but I have a few complaints about it. First there are just too many commercials. They take up more time than playing the game. And to top that, it is the same ones over and over. Very annoying. Second, when you have moves still left on your play, they should earn points and not be lost, also when you still have bombs on there they should go ahead and burst to get extra points. Another thing, in my opinion you don’t get enough stars, hands or tickets on each play. You have to play for hours if you win just to get a few at a time. Then you have to use your diamonds if you run out of plays and I feed that 90 is too much for 5 moves and as long as you have to wait to watch a video to earn more. This is a good game and I love how I can create and design a house, but with all the commercials and everything else I said makes me not want to play. The way it is needs a complete overhaul.

Tired of these “hard levels”. I downloaded the game for obvious reasons. To design. The levels started off easy, as it should, and rapidly became such a stressful time. It seems as tho every other level is a hard level even if the game doesn’t announce its a “hard level” if it takes more than my 5 energy’s to complete, it starts to get annoying. I want an easy game that I can relax with and this just gives me a headache. The more you play, the more expensive it is to unlock just one item and you only get like half of that amount by winning one level. At least if I finally beat a “hard level” don’t give me just 2x points, add more bonus items so I can use them in 2 min when you throw me another hard level. Just doesn’t make sense. If I wanted to play difficult matching games, I’d download actual matching games. I downloaded this game to design bc I’m into that stuff!!! And I know I’m not the only one complaining about this bc I’ve read sooooo many other reviews saying THE EXACT SAME THING. I’ve tried to wait off on writing a review, but I’m just at the point of deleting the game, regardless of all the hard work and time I’ve put into unlocking rooms. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 bc I actually like the way the rooms turn out when I finish them. Too bad it takes me like 2 weeks to complete one room.

Enjoyable but....... This is one of my favorite games to play. However the higher I get level wise the more frustrating the game gets and I just want to quit playing. It’s supposed to be enjoyable but... I do have a few complaints. First of all, when you’re playing and you earn diamonds you should be able to use those diamonds and not have to pay money for them. That’s just wrong. Second of all, the same games are repeating themselves with less moves to use. If by chance you happen to have a booster to use you should be able to choose where to place it. Usually it ends up in a place where you don’t need it. Third, there are only two ways to get boosters without spending money. You should be able to earn boosters throughout the game and not just when you complete an entire home, or the 20 tickets whenever the ticket thing is going on and then at the very end of that. And no, I don’t want to spend my money to buy them. Fourth and last, I’m noticing in the higher levels tickets are fewer on the board. What’s up with that?🤷‍♀️ One game I play they are always giving out free time and boosters. That is so appreciated. Thank you and hope to see some changes in the near future.

Love the encouragement. This game is pretty fun with Jonathan and Drew encouraging and praising you as you play games to earn coins and tickets, and work on designs. For that I give it 5 stars. I dropped it to 4 because after awhile you begin to feel like it’s the same thing over and over. With coins you design 3 spaces for someone in their new home. With occasional challenges you earn tickets to design 1 space for someone. Plus there are other challenges. They do keep adding things to benefit the player, which makes progressing easier than other frustrating games where you can never win a level. Also, there are many ways to earn infinity lives for a given amount of time. Player beware that as I am currently playing in Oct 2022 there is an ad for figgerits that never lets you exit out. This is an issue because the games inside the game allow you to choose 2 extra turns if you don’t win the first time thru. When this ad comes up you will lose your progress in that inner game and have to start all over, having lost a life. Hoping the game maker reads this review and fixes this issue somehow.

A true design game would be nice for a change.... I really wish games like this would be advertised as is. In the demo it makes it seem as if you can just pick areas in a home or garden to decorate to your hearts desire but this is not that at all. Most of this game is spent playing a different “Candy Crush” style game in order to win enough coins to decorate one room. And then once you play about 5 or 6 rounds of the other “Candy Crush” style game you only get to make 2 or 3 changes to the room before you’re out of coins again and have to go back to the other game to make more coins. Then that game gets harder as the levels increase so you have to spend more and more time trying to beat the levels which make it almost impossible to finish timed quest in the actual Property Brothers game. All of the decorating games I’ve downloaded have been similar to this. I really just want to find a true decorating game where I have a wide variety of furniture to choose from and I can just play around with it and not have to spend most of my time on some completely unrelated side game just to win enough coins to play the game I’m actually interested in playing. I don’t understand the logic behind this.

2 Brothers, 1 Star. This game looks like every designers dream game, right? As someone who thoroughly enjoys creating spaces, I was convinced this would be everything I needed in a game. Boy how wrong I was. This game is set up to draw you in and then the levels get increasingly harder and harder and you only have 5 lives to play games unless you spend all of your real world, hard earned money. And some of the levels are just impossible to beat. You can tell they change the game as you play because after enough times of trying and waiting a half hour for a life to come back, all of a sudden the colored blocks fall so you can get a power up. It’s honestly a joke. I have been counting how many tries it takes to beat a level (mind you, I’m TRYING to beat it) and the most games I’ve played to level up is 37 times. THIRTY SEVEN TIMES and you know how many levels you have to beat in order to even buy anything? I’d say the average is 3. So if it takes 37 times to beat ONE level and you need to beat 3 in order to buy anything, and you only get 5 tries until you’re out of lives and have to wait a half hour to get just one of those lives back, you’re sitting at 2-3 days just to buy an overpriced dresser that’s not even you’re style. There are only 3 options for each item you get to buy and most of the time, you’re just settling. It’s not what the rating makes it out to be. I have no idea who is rating it this high because I’ve read so many reviews that feel the same way as I do.

Could be better.. Property Brothers is a really fun game but there are a bunch of things that should be different. The first thing is that levels become really hard and almost impossible to beat. I have been stuck on a bunch of levels for a bit of time and I am stuck on one now. When you’re on the second house you usually need to play two levels to get enough coins for a decoration (unless you make it on your first try and get 2X which is hard) which I find annoying. Thirdly, if you finish all your energy which lets you play the game, there’s nothing you can do until you get more energy which takes a few minutes and no one wants to wait until you have enough energy to play again. I think that the events should last longer you only have about 3 days to complete 2 parts which is hard to do. Lastly you have only a little bit of gems to spend and than you have to pay real money. Overall the game is very fun and exciting. I recommend it to anyone who likes challenging puzzles and designing. I like how there are little conversations between the clients and the brothers after you put in decorations. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Bad prize design but great gameplay. You only get a new life every 30 mins and buying tokens is expensive. The game itself is good but my main gripe is how prizes are awarded. It’s a hard game that you need to spend money on but when you complete levels or win prizes, you get an hour or 3 hours free play that you can’t bank. This means you can essentially win several hours free play but you need to use it immediately. If they allowed you to bank the free time prize I would rate this 5 and invest more money in tokens. As it is, I waste my free time prizes.

Awesome game BUT...... I love the Property Brothers and this is a great game with awesome graphics. BUT unfortunately they have made the games that you have to play to win money to continue in the game so hard to win and some virtually impossible to win, unless you buy extra turns or advantages. You also only get 5 turns to win a game before you have to wait for a fairly long time to get them back to continue playing or alternatively spend more money to buy more lives/turns. I have deleted this games as it is addictively fun but I have spent too much money on a game! Sorry Property Brothers I’m out but still love your Reno show.

Great to start with.... This game seems fun when you first get it! But the constant repeat of buying ONE item and then having to play a level only to gain about half the money you need to purchase another item gets old REALLY quick. You have to play 2 mini games to even afford furniture when you really get into it. And the mini games just get too hard, consuming energy and needing you to repeat them over and over. Takes you about 30+ mini games to even finish a room? I thought the game would be more about decorating and less like candy crush — I was disappointed.

(I really don’t know what the title should be). Hi developers! I’m here to tell you that this is an amazing game, but I think you’re not thinking about marketing very well. I mean since you have to wait for lives to play the next level, people will have to leave the game and wait. All the time that they could be waiting they could also be spending money on the game, watching ads etc. this means that maybe you’re not thinking about the marketing and getting more money for this game and making more progress in the future. IMPORTANT PLS READ. I love this game so much but there are some problems. I liked having to work for the money so it doesn’t get boring quickly but it gets annoying having to play 1-3 games to gather money for only one update. I think it would be more fun if you added different mini games or you decreased the prices or increased the pay. That would make this game a lot less annoying instead of spending 70% of my time trying to earn money. I would also love to get free passes for some of the updates without having to work for them like you would give them out once in a while or if u have a daily streak or something or you could play a mini game to get 1 every like 3 days or watch an add for them or something. 10/10 would recommend this game though if you love Interior design

Great concept.. if you want to spend real money.. Was super fun to start with. The games were fun, then almost impossible once you get higher up. Then, once you progress to the higher levels, it becomes almost impossible to get anywhere without spending real money. Now the ads have also started; loose a level? Watch an ad. Do anything? Watch an ad. The cost of items as you get higher get really expensive. When a set of cushions cost as much as kitchen cabinetry, you’ve lost me. I get this game is designed so people spend real money, but there are still folk out there who like to play these games (even if it takes a bit of time) without forking out real cash. Its a no from me now, unfortuanelty.

Misleading. Like many games these days, the preview photos are full of the “fun” parts of the game, the design part, you know, what the game is literally named for. Unfortunately the bulk of your time will be spent on a frustrating match 3 style mini game, that mostly comes down to luck. A small pool of ‘energy’ tokens, which are used if you fail a mini game level, means that it can be literally days between actually getting to do the thing you downloaded the game for. This game has great potential but quickly turns into a frustrating, boring, and ultimately experience that isn’t worth the time investment

Bad game, money drained ( if you want to live better DONT buy). DONT BUY! ITS A LIE! I, like many other people have seen the ad for this game and I bought it of that thinking it would be like the ad, but it’s NOT. Your energy runs out really quickly and you can only continue playing if you BUY it with real money, so I did that and it cost like $10 for 4 things of energy which they charged me $30! But I played on, thinking, hoping that it would be like the ad, quick and easy but it’s nothing like it! And the challenges to get $ get really hard. And all the decor cost way to much, like a POT PLANT cost $1,2340! It’s way too much and way to bad

Sometimes I get stuck on a level and I stop playing the game but then I come back and try really hard to finish it. I have a suggestion why don’t you add a help button in case you ever get stuck on a level to make it more fair for you cause you can’t just let us have it for free make us watch an ad. The help button can give you a way to win by the amount of moves you have left! Or something different if you want to change that. Anyways this is a great game I love 💕 it so much! More matching. Look if you enjoy matching games this is pretty good. Given the cartoonish graphics the projects and styles are limited but pretty good although this is no Redecor in that respect. My question is, who decided that people who enjoy design want to spend hours playing matching games? They have nothing to do with each other! I played the first couple of projects until the matching games picked up in difficulty, then deleted it the same day. Too much of the same thing. I’m back to playing straight out design games.

It’s AMAZING but.... I was looking for a game to play during quarantine and this is it. It is one of the most addicting games ever possible. I got it yesterday and am already on level 79. I love this game sooo much but the one thing I would change is how many diamonds we get. Because I’m not the best at this game I end up failing a lot of levels and I use diamond sometimes to save me. But because of that I only have 11 diamonds left. If the game developers are reading this please reply. 🥺🥺🥺 Thx for one of the best games

Very disappointing... $ drained. I’ve never written an app review before.... but I have to say this app is ridiculous. It’s great fun creating rooms, the puzzles to earn $ are fun and challenging. But once you get through the first few levels it gets harder and harder, meanwhile a pot plant will cost you the same amount as a couch!!!! I’ve got both in real life as do a lot of people reading this I am sure and I can assure you I spent a lot more on my couch than my plant. Once you reach a higher level it’s almost impossible to progress without spending $... and to be honest I don’t mind spending... they have created this app to make $ after all. But the amount you have to spend to progress even just a little is disappointing, a waste of money and a real turn off. I’m deleting this app. Would have been happy to stick with it if it was an affordable game but it’s crazy! Don’t download. Don’t get sucked in. First time I’ve ever paid to play a game and totally ripped off. Like I said. If prices were more affordable I would have been happy to spend a little for the experience. Feeling disappointed and taken for a ride.

Great but.... So this game is really fun and I really like playing it but I’m not sure if others agree or not I’m on level 113 where you collect tools and glass I get about three toolboxes and about half of the glass but then I hear FiVe mOvEs lEfT and I think this game is amazing but I think you get to little moves or the levels just start to get really hard so I think we get to little moves so pls pls pls can you change this? I just hate how the home design/Reno games you always have to do that puzzle and that’s when I came across this game called Gallery: Home design and decor and you are designing a home but instead of that annoying puzzle it’s a colour by number! Cool but mmmmm. I really loved this game as I watched the tv series and loved the architecture and design elements. I found this game really fun and liked the mini games to get extra money, however I didn’t like that I had to always play the hard mini games to get enough money to purchase one customisable piece of furniture. I had a full piggy bank and didn’t want to waste my money in buying all of my hard earned gems. I hated that I couldn’t receive five more turns and ended up having to wait 30 minutes to get 3 more lives. I was really sad because I loved this game and thought it was THE BEST out of all the designing your house games. I am really sad to give up on playing this game. 😭😭😭😭😭

AMAZING but one thing... I like this game SO MUCH and I use up a lot of my time playing it, I think it’s really cool how you can design different things, and move on in levels. I also like all the different clients and there stories, and just getting to create different houses and do all the challenges! BUT It’s really annoying how you can only use the gems once if you haven’t purchased more! And the whole piggy bank thing, I think you should be able to put some of the gems from your piggy bank into the gem thing that you have to buy. I also think it’s stupid that your piggy bank is full, and that you have to buy more space, I mean like, there is literally no point in even having it! And, why should DIY be unlocked at LEVEL 400?! That is TOO MUCH! BUT Otherwise, it’s a really great game, so fun and so fantastic, and you should DEFINITELY get it. Great app but one small fault. I have had this app for a while now and love it so much. It is such a amazing app that you could waste a lot of time playing. I love how you get through levels to design a home and is a great lesson for kids teaching them to work for a result and I love how we have options to choose from when we are designing. But there is one problem... I am one of those people that hates to spend money on games but sadly this app is one that you kind of need to. I haven’t been able to perches any bombs or things to start off the game with to help us to complete a hard level or plussed five more moves because you need diamonds for that and have had only twenty diamonds for a long time thinking that we could work for them but have been quite dissatisfied. One way to fix this mite just be that we get a certain amount of diamonds like with the money so we can still get those things without spending real money. Over all I give this game a 4.5 out of ten because this game is honestly perfect per sides that one small fault and I would definitely recommend this game to family and friends!

Alright!!. This game is so astounding, and it really makes you feel like your really designing a actual home and I love that about this game. But the only problem in my opinion this might not happen to anyone else but it glitches me out every time i try to go into the game. It’s really annoying but I tried deleting the game maybe if it will refresh it but its gotten worse. READ THIS. This app is ridiculous, I got sucked into the game and next thing you know it you are stuck on a level with only the tiniest amount of energy. THEASE mini games are ridiculously hard to beat and have been stuck on it for months. It’s like you purposely made to impossible for others to beat so you can get more money raised. I didn’t download this app just to be stuck on a level that doesn’t even get you that much coins. This app is terrible and yet the worst one so far. I’m going to delete this app because it’s a useless point. I hope you read this and be ashamed of how many people have argued and lost money on this game. FIX IT PLEASE! So, I have not experienced any ads so far. This is a really big improvement. Also, you get to play a fun game instead of the normal Homescapes or Manchington Mansion or Fishdom game. Also, the choices of design are really good. And if you change your mind, you can change the painting or lounge or whatever... for FREE. You usually need to pay like, 300 game dollars, so this is really good. AND, you also get a special video from the brothers, and a special prize if you get to level 100. I haven’t yet so I can’t tell you what it is. In conclusion, I am amazed at how something so good is free. Love the game, please fix bugs. I love the game, especially with no adds, and I don’t mind the in app purchases, especially since you can still play without using them. There is a bug with the ‘modern chair’, which is a bonus that can be won. It sits at a weird angle in the room in the Minneapolis level, and it can not be changed once placed. I tried to report this through the ‘support’ button, but the button didn’t work. Sounds like a weird thing to complain about, but I only play for the interior design element, and this bug is really bugging me. Love the game otherwise.

Why I love this game. This game is incredible. The details really get people invested into the game. I played this for hours on end however you will get very mad when you lose the same level over and over again. When you win however, joy fills you. When I’m bored I go onto property brothers and it fills my time. This game brings architecture to life by renovating and creating a home. However, I dislike how much the guys talk and the 20minutes it takes to get a life.

A great game. I think that this a great game that could help kids or really anyone design fun modern houses l just think that there should be more lives and if you could earn them through finishing houses and challenges, it would also be nice if you could have more options for designs than three just to let the creativity flow and l’m not sure if this would be hard to change add this but l think that adding a place where you could add your age so the levels could be easier or harder depending on the persons age but all in all this a great game where you can design homes and play fun but challenging mini games, l highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone who is looking for a fun game to while the hours away.

Really Good but Some Problems. So, I recently just got this game and its so good!i really enjoy it and would definitely keep playing it. Although, there are a few things i don't like and would like changed. 1. Sometimes the game glitches so when you try to add a piece of furniture it wont work and will keep flickering. 2. I don't like the fact that that it takes half an hour to revive ONE life when personally i think it should only take around 2-5 minutes. But on the bright side its an awesome game and i rate it a 4-5. Great job!

Great game but...... I loved watching this show so excited to try the game. Unfortunately the levels get too hard very quickly. The concept of the game is very good and enjoyable but I ended up deleting it as I am spending so much time trying to get past a level to earn tickets for the special level or cash to buy an item to furnish the room. The whole idea of the game is to design rooms but you run out of tickets and cash very quickly and you either need to pass levels or purchase items so you can move forward which I find very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this game.

Okay app could be better. I love this app it is so addictive I like how you can get money from solving puzzles. But some of the puzzles are so hard that you can’t complete them so you have to go over and over again to try and complete it and then a lightning bolt sign comes up saying your out of energy and that you have to get more using diamond (Which you have to pay for) or wait 20 minutes for 1 lightning bolt I thought you could work for diamonds

Great game😆. When I first downloaded this game I though that I would loose interest straight away though that was the complete opposite. I’m now obsessed with this brilliant game and it’s amazing home designing. There isn’t even that many adds the adds on this game is rare. I personally think that this game is very entertaining and relaxing and therefore I think that this game should be one of the most entertaining games out there. Best game ever. This game has changed me in so many ways. When I first downloaded this game I was depressed, lonely and most importantly fat (I was also a terrorist but that doesn’t matter). After the installation of this game I have realised the beautiful things in life like property design. I know work for the property brothers and am especially close with both men (especially Drew😫). If you are fat then get this because then you will become a rich and skinny chad.

A favourite!. This is my favourite game, currently level 9733. It has standard challenges plus a couple of extra weekly challenges. It’s not over the top hard as you rise up the levels and now has the allowance of watching a 10 - 30 sec add to give a couple of extra goes to finish a level. Rather than needing to buy gems for extra lives. The new versus 24hr challenges are fun too!

Please no team Rally. 🤦🏻‍♀️ bring back the chests!. I really shouldn’t have upgraded. The plus in the game was making friends in the team and we loved the weekly chests challenge. But since you decided to swipe the whol team challenge board that we worked hard to get to. We’re now doing a ‘team rally’ challenge which is really disappointing… I’d rather have the chance to get 96 keys for the team instead of 2 tries win or lose for a rally we lose team points on if we don’t make top 2. The game is losing its momento… bring back the chests challenge! Ditch the rally!

Frustrating. I have been playing this game for a couple of years now. And I have spent quite a lot of money too. I love the concept, I love the graphics, I love the rooms, I love the puzzles BUT…… for what ever reason they have now bombarded you with adds, seriously after every game. And not just short adds but the long ones too. Also some of the adds are glitchy. I find I spend more time watching adds than actually playing the game. I am very disappointed as this WAS my relaxing down time. not so much anymore…. So it’s Off to the App Store I go.

I’m deleting this game right now. This game tends to glitch so you can’t see what item your placing in the room which can become really annoying and frustrating. Also when you get further into the game your mainly playing mini games when all that you really want to do is design the home. Eventually the levels become really hard which means that you keep running out of moves , which means that you keep losing lives and keep having to wait a long time for more . Sometimes I can be stuck on one level for a whole day. This game is also a complete money grab because you have to pay actual money to get diamonds so that you can get extra moves to pass the level that your on. I think that there are much better design games than this one.

I have an idea…. So when you do the mini games it get’s harder and maybe you could put in different mini games to earn money because matching the blocks does get harder and it makes me annoyed. Maybe, for FREE, not any real life money, you could transfer some of your money from your piggy bank into what you use for when you run out of lives in the mini games. My piggy bank is full and I don’t think my parents would want to waste their money for me to get more storage in this game just for gems that cost money to use for some things. Lot’s of stuff cost money and it make it really hard to renovate when you are stuck on a level with no lives left and you can’t do the coupon challenges. Please take my ideas into careful consideration, this would really help us reno-lovers out!

Too few boosts. The game play is good. The makeovers are fun and is very much modelled on the show. Graphics are well done. There is banter after each item you add which can be quite long and annoying. But it’s not the end of the world. But the thing that is a deal breaker is the fact there are absolutely no ways to earn free gems or boosts. So if you’re stuck on a level, the only option is to pay up. If you’ve run out of lives, pay up. At best, it grinds play to a slow crawl. At worst, you’re significantly out of pocket.

Money Grab!. This game would be really cool if it wasn’t an obvious money grab. It seems that after the first half hour of gameplay the levels are deliberately made to be too hard to pass so that you use consumable items (which cost real money) and watch ads; this makes the game very unenjoyable since it can take multiple days just to clear one level without spending money. It’s really disappointing that they make the candy crush style levels so infuriating to play because I think I would have really enjoyed this game otherwise. Although the game seems very appealing at first I would recommend uninstalling after your first play rather than wasting your time watching ads over and over while failing the same levels again and again. Don’t waste your time or money!

Fun until.... I downloaded this game when I saw it in an ad and though ohhh this looks like a fun designing game and then at first I liked it but then when I reached level 60+ the levels are almost impossible! Like we have 20 moves to get rid of 100 things it’s unrealistic! As well as my diamonds my piggy bank saying it is full with 600 but I only have 20 diamonds. I will not buy more cause it’s pointless. I understand you have to make money but if you want people to play your game I suggest making levels realist (letting us have more moves), you could also suggest to get rid of ads by paying so you can still get money.

Frustrating/Hard/DUMB. This game was super fun to start off with. The levels were super easy and because of this I would get more money to design rooms! Then the levels started getting to the point where I would spend all of my lives on a single level. From then on the game sort of started forcing you to buy gems just so that you could get 5+ moves or starting power-ups. On other games, once you win a level you have a chance to get 50% more money of what you won if you watch a video. However this isn’t the case for Property Brothers. Another thing is how many moves you get for a level. Sometimes with the Hard Levels there just AREN'T enough moves! This can be extremely frustrating, due to the fact that just 1 move would change everything. This is what I mean when the game forces you to buy gems. Overall I like the designing, but the levels are just so frustrating/too hard!!!!😡😡😡

Literally my all time favorite app!. I downloaded this game to amuse myself during the COVID-19 lockdown and have found its so enjoyable. I can pop in my AirPods and blast music while I complete the levels and fix up the houses. So much fun. The only downside I’ve noticed is that I’m not completing “hard” levels anymore even though I can tell they should be. Not sure what happened there but it just makes me play smarter, just takes me longer to upgrade the rooms. Truly a great game. So glad I discovered it 😁

Amazing but 1 thing TINY thing wrong. This game is great for building and designing the houses and rooms and it encourages you to be creative in different ways in all aspects of designing. However the building part is good but you have to play a game to earn money and The game isn’t too good. 😕. And, some of the furnitures are pretty costly (in game money 💰) and you keep having to play these games. The games are a bit like candy crush, which is fun, but it is just wasting your time when you actually could be building and designing. But overall I recommend this game for creative people 😄😄😄

Very slow progress in the actual design aspect of the game. The coins earned per level are not enough and the lives only refill every 30 minutes with a maximum of 5 lives. I am on level 76 and have only completed one room and 93% of the second room. I love the game but it’s taken a day and a half to get to where I am and thats not very far! Will most likely delete as it’s not a game you can really enjoy for a long period of time having to wait 30minutes each turn and/or 2.5hours to make any progress. And if you’re not very good at the puzzles, you could use all 5 lives in 5 minutes and earn no money and have to go back the the waiting game lol Anyone not wanting to spend money on gems/refills, probably not worth the download.

It’s fun but...... The game is fun but once you get past a certain level (60+) the game becomes impossible to complete because they’ve made the levels too hard. I hate how it costs you a move to explode a bomb to TNT etc, you’ve just lost a move tapping on it so why waste another igniting it? Completing a level has cost me my life limit about four times, then having to wait until the lives are filled again because I refuse to buy extra diamonds. The furniture and accessories are quite expensive as well, if you want people to continue to play the game and have fun doing it, maybe lower the prices of the furniture and either give more moves for the harder levels or make them a little easier....I’m not saying make them super easy but using 4 moves to remove a piece of wood is ridiculous

Honestly unplayable. At first I was okay with the fact that you had to do a puzzle to get more coins but the levels got way to hard to complete. I also hate that once you use all your gems you can’t get anymore unless you pay money. Also, the game is more about the puzzles than actually designing. Overall the game started fine but just got really bad and unable to be played. I ended up just deleting it. I suggest that you take in the recommendations that people have provided. I’ve seen and read a heap of reviews saying the same thing over and over but yet there has been no further improvements. Step up your game.

This game is definitely designed to make you spend money and although I’m not against people spending money on apps what I am against is when the developers make it so you pretty much have to l. I don’t mind purchasing things but in a game where every level is hard to get through without the power ups tells me this game is a money pit. Do better people.

Greedy. To start with this game was fun, but now I can see it’s all just one of those games that you have to spend money on. There are no day rewards or videos to watch to give you any rewards to help with the lvls that just get harder and harder as you go. You only get 6 energy a day and then have to wait 20 mins to get one more. Again no free options to get more. I’m more than happy to watch ads to earn things to actually play the game, but the amount of money you need to win this game is def not worth it. If this game ever comes up with other options to earn things u need to win I’ll think about replaying. Until then it’s goodbye

Love the game ,great concept but seriously just a money grab. I have loved playing this game and learning about design along the way, but no rewards after completing a level is no incentive to keep going, how about giving some diamonds as a level completion or a few bombs etc instead of keep asking for money to buy diamonds etc which you could still do as well as we all like to make money from a business... why not charge a one of purchase price for the game and get more rewards as we play , I know I would buy it as I have all ready spent well over $200 but now feel I have spent enough on a game with no rewards and just gets to hard to complete a level without spending more ,so it’s time to delete it ... sorry guys no more money from me !

Could be a lot better. Good, but it’s extremely apparent that the game is money hungry. It has a lot of potential but it takes a big hit when it makes it incredibly difficult to pass a levels because it wants you to pay with your money for extra moves or cracking open the piggy bank. If your interested in playing, keep an eye on your level. You go up levels very fast in this game. Once you get to 145, you really start to notice what I mentioned. I’m undecided on whether I’ll delete this app, but I am leaning more towards delete. No use having a app that just wants your money. However, graphics are really quite good as is the designs. Not as good as some apps but it’s pretty good with a clear picture and easy to navigate controls which make it a plus. To the developers though, being this greedy is how you lose out and plummet against other rival apps. A much needed change in direction wouldn’t go to stray.

Love hate. I love this game I am on leave 4413 but I do agree that it is a bit of a money grab winning bombs is hard to do it really doesn’t happen often and getting diamonds just doesn’t happy I have been stuck with the same amount of diamonds for a while and there is no way to get anymore with out paying for them. I love the brothers I wish there was more options when designing a room not only 3 but it has gotten better then when I first started playing it I can’t bring myself to delete it so to me that is saying something I have no rooms to design at the moment and I understand why designing a room starts to cost more as the game goes on but it’s taking a lot longer to pass levels witch means it’s taking longer to design a room and the design aspect of the game is why I got it. I wanted a good design app that I could really design what I wanted and in some was it like that but not in all ways I think the app can be improved.

Great but…. I love this game. It’s a fun puzzle re-design game. Good game fun but mini games are bad. I loved this game I loved designing the rooms and the mini games were easy so it was easy to get money to make the rooms but the levels got so hard I spent all my lives on 1 level and I did not make the level which is so annoying cause I waited for so long to get a few life's and boom there gone it’s not fair. Also the sofa chairs are so expensive and so are the others they are the same price they are all like IOOO dollars I don’t have enough money for them cause of the mini games. Frustrated. It’s a great game, but hard to keep interested as the restock of lives takes too long! Often times , it takes a very long time to move levels. Especially after 500. I quit.

Terrible rewards for completing each mini game.. After completing a mini game, You earn the equivalent of a few bucks in this game when everything costs >600 in-game currency. The energy system is so outdated it's sad that they still have to use it.

Why are you forcing us to pay???. I like the game - it’s fun and cool. What I don’t like, however, that when your piggy bank is full, they force you to pay to open it. That should be clearly spelled out when downloading the game - I’m going to delete the game as soon as my review is posted.

Sneaky. This game although fun, forces you to pay for any of the little bonuses. I made it a point to not purchase any of them after the first couple. Then it started charging my credit card without permission or giving me the thing it said I bought. Don’t but this app…. It’s sneaky expensive. If you do… watch your credit card.

Be careful of unauthorized purchases. I do really enjoy this game however, I’m going to be deleting this app due to numerous unauthorized purchases. I have had several issues of the game charging my visa for purchases I have not made. No refund has ever been issued for any of these claims and customer service is non existent. Complete scam. Be careful when using this app or making any in app purchases.

Waste of time. The first levels were fine but when you hit levels past 50 they get incredibly hard and you have only a few lives. Why not just have a game just about decorating? Why the stupid puzzles?

Hour of Unlimited Lives. I love this game. Totally addicted. On level 3000! BUT- I would LOVE to be able to pause the time when I win levels and get 1-3 hours to play. Most of the time I don’t have the time to sit and play for 3 hours and then I lose the time. It’s frustrating when you’ve earned it. Currently I have 7 hours of playing time and will only be able to take advantage of 1 hour. When you dedicate so much time to the game, being able to pause it and take advantage of your free play time would be much appreciated...

Greedy Brothers. I really enjoy this game as does my team, we think the chests should have diamonds in them especially when our team works hard to get to #10. And the 100 coins you receive after spending thousands and thousands to complete a client challenge is insulting. The Property Brothers only care about their pockets and not the players lining them. They are greedy and unappreciative. A as me bring back the boosters to the chests. How greedy do you need to be in a game people play to escape from the real world. Seriously.

Fun to play but intentionally hard to get power ups. This game is quite fun, I love the designing element and the furniture options. I would love if you guys brought back the 3hr free life event in Friday’s. Without it, I find it quite hard to gain power ups and I refuse to buy things from these types of games on that principle. Also I do not enjoy paying for this type of stuff

Good. The app is good and I love designing but I don’t like that we have to play that extra game to get money. I’d rather just be able to design without needing money.

Terrible. Too much of the games and not much on the actual design. Should be able to at least pick 2 items to design before you got to play the game. Then waiting so long to be able to play again.

Too little designing too much boring game play. This game is just a cash cow to make you spend money so you don’t have to play the boring gem games to get to the actual fun: designing. The designing part is fun I wish it was 90% that 10% the other part. Instead it’s the opposite.

Great game! But... I love this game! It’s so much fun to play and I’m hooked on it! But, when passing each level, I think we could win more coins. All the furniture is expensive and it takes forever to collect some cash!

Difficult. This was fun until the levels got way to difficult. Then your waiting for so long to get lives back. Need to revamp this game.

Bring back the weekend challenge. This game is great I’ve been playing for years, but I wish they would bring back the weekend challenge where you win 10 games and then get three hours of free play. That’s where I would spend most of my time playing and now I’m finding it’s mot really worth it. I just might delete the game.

$$$. The game starts out great but then quickly becomes expensive. To release gems you have to pay. The levels become harder and harder, which normally is not an issue, however this game is designed to make you pay... I love the PB’s but likely won’t be keeping the game.

Pass. This is way more of a block breaking game then it is a building game. You spend 95% of the time just trying to get coins to design a house with limited freedom. Also you keep putting gems in a piggy bank and there’s no explanation as to what they are for and it costs $3.99 for no apparent reason.

Let me have gems!. Whenever I get gems the game puts them in a piggy bank and I click on it and it says I have to spend money to get it! And because of that when my energy ran out I couldn’t refill it because it cost gems! Maybe take out the piggy bank or here is another one Get rid of the energy! I want to play don’t make me wait an hour. I will delete Tell me when you fix this broken game!

Frustrated. I loved this game. I got a new tablet. The game go black with white lines and then it go back to normal then it freezes. I have to keep uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. It has taken the fun out of the game. I am not reinstalling this game ever again

Harder & harder. The game was really fun, I got addicted to it. BUT, I think I’m gonna delete it because those hard levels are impossible to pass, and then I finally passed it after 2-3 days, I realizes that I don’t have 1/3 of the money to buy A LAMP. It takes forever to finish 1 house, and it’s really exhausting.

Dumb Games. I came here because design is interesting and fun. If I wanted to play dumb matching games I can go elsewhere. You cannot do anything without playing a game or four. The games are a waste of time. I’d rather have an app I pay for and design away, take my time, make changes, etc. I’m deleting this.

Why certain amount of lives?. I really love this game. But I don’t like how we run out of lives... I feel like it would be nicer to just have as many lives as we need to finish the level of the little mini game... anyways I watched the show all the time when I was in grade 2 & 3 and the game other then this is just as amazing... I’m just saying I would love to either 1. Make the lives unlimited 2. Make the game less difficult 3. Take out the mini game altogether ..... I’m waiting for a game where you can just design and not worry about money or mini games

Ads??. There used to be ads to continue playing levels which really helped - but they seem to have disappeared. This is a great feature to help get past super hard levels! Love the game but losing this feature makes me not want to play anymore. Fix it.

Makes me feel special 😊. When you reach LVL. 100, it shows you a little video of the property brothers saying congratulations! 🥳 It made me feel special and I just want to say thank you! But, sometimes I can’t even do anything when I’m trying to get money, I end up wasting my moves, other than that, great game! Happy to give you support! Thank you for making this game, I love the show!

Odd Game. The designing aspect is fantastic and earning the money and tickets to do it is fun, EXCEPT; it gets ridiculously hard to do so after the second episode. It’s getting to the point it’s not even worth it anymore because if all I wanted to do was play a colour matching game, I’d just play toy blast 🙄 Lighten up on the levels guys, because I haven’t been able to design anything in days and I won’t be buying any booster packs either.

Honestly, I love Property Brothers. .. But this game was just not what I would have expected. I love design and being able to see things come to life, but after already having paid for a bunch prior, and being unable to complete some, what I would say are impossible levels to beat without paying more, it completely took the joy and fun out of this as it slowly started to look more like a pay-to-win game and I’m just not into that. I figured maybe it was something in the algorithm and that eventually it would let up after replaying over and over countless days and what not without having to pay again, but it just wasn’t the case. Some levels are actually impossible to beat without using some form of boosters which you can’t actually earn from playing on your own, but rather from buying more diamonds or boosters alone. . This just isn’t what I expected this game would be like.. seems like they created something like Homescapes, only that game actually has opportunities to keep playing and advancing in levels without actually have to always put down money. So, in my humble opinion, I can say I’m not impressed and as such, I’ve uninstalled this.

not fun. honestly this game sucks. having to play a level 30 times to beat it is not fun when you only get 5 lives every 3 hours. stupid way to make people pay. not worth it. if you wanna play a design house game without the matching, download house flipper or house designer. if i wanted to spend hours on a level i would just download candy crush…

Tedious cash grab. The design part is fun but you have to play some match the colours game to earn coins to spend on your project. It’s slow and quite tedious… unless of course you chose to spend real money on premium currency. Honestly if the app had a free trial and then a purchase full version for 2-4$ I might actually buy it… assuming there was no colour matching nonsense. The design a room part is well done and fun. But since they went for the please spend cash to keep playing approach it’s bye bye app from me. I don’t mind paying for my entertainment but this approach just irks me.

Love hate relationship with this game. Fun but ridiculous pricing. My friend also has the app and when she fails a level she is offered an ad to get more moves (as opposed to buying gems for more moves which is the only thing I am offered). Same game but for whatever reason they don’t offer me an ad. The issue with this is that levels become so impossibly difficult and you have to wait 30 minutes for a refill for ONE life and then still can’t complete the level because of the difficulty. This would be okay but it costs THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS to purchase anything (thousands for pillows? Really?) and you only get between 900-1500 for each level. It takes FOREVER to complete any room and it takes the fun out of the game. It is just a reason to spend actual money on the game which literally no one wants to do. Would be fun but it’s just becomes too annoying.

Too expensive!. The “price” to actually design anything on this game is ridiculous. The price increases gets higher as the levels increase, but the rewards stay low. The only way to actually advance is to buy credits. Fun but will be deleting. If I wanted to pay to decorate - I’ll do it in real life.

Yet again disappointment comes my way…. Hi again. Please read this because many others have this same complaint. In my previous review, I rated this game a 3/5. I change my mind to a 1/5, and if allowed I would rate it lower. I explained how the mini game is very time consuming considering that this game is suppose to be about home designing. In this review I’m going to explain some other of mine and many others complaints. First of all, I believe we should have more or infinite lives since it takes 30 minutes to retrieve another live if you lost the mini game too many times. I have to admit the format of this game is spectacular, but I hated the way you have to do a mini game to earn money. I think you should actually be able to earn money for each room you design. The second complaint many people have is gems. At the start, it looks like your earning so many gems from the mini games. But then when the piggy bank is filled you have to PAY. Developer, do you want people to be entertained by your games or just made this game for money. Which is probably true for almost every developer. But really, you have to pay for gems. Gems are suppose to be currency in this game!! If you haven’t read my other review, I talked about how the mini games are pretty dumb and shouldn’t be part of this game. Sure, there are many other people who love the mini games. But in my opinion, I think you should either make the mini games easier, or just overall get rid of them. If you read this, thank you for putting concern in your game. I have to admit that I love how you have clients, and I really love the game still. But because of my complaint, I don’t enjoy it as much.

Uhg please read this.... This game was REALLY good until the levels got hard. And because the levels got harder and you don’t get very much energy, it became quite tedious. Especially since you only get 700-800 coins from winning when you need at least 1,100 coins to get 1 thing built. Please fix all this somehow it’s awful

At first it was ok! Became too hard very fast.. I hate that you have to do so many side games before you have enough for the next upgrade. And it comes to a point where it’s almost impossible to pass a level without having to use one of the helpers I bet it’s a way to make you spend money on it. ... not fun

Design aspect is fun BUT.... Cheesy games between designing need to be played to earn money to demo, reno and/or purchase products. Think Candy Crush but far worse. This game sucks!

This game is fun and all until they ban you for absolutely no reason, I would strongly recommend not getting this game because you might love playing it and then they just decided to ban you for no good reason. Every day I check to see if im un-banned but it still says the same thing every day and I have emailed them multiple times about it.

What happened??. This was such a fun game to zone out with and now, all of a sudden there are ads playing in my game every other minute and I can’t skip them. It’s turned an enjoyable game into a frustrating ad push. Were you not making enough money from the in-app sales you also need to now rake in ad revenue from countless ads? What’s the point of giving me infinite lives for an hour if I’ve seen at least six ads in the first 11min? This sadly has turned into a game I am going to delete :(

There’s something that’s unfair! But the game is good. This game is actually great! But it’s unfair that you have a certain amount of lives! I know that the person who made this game wants people to love it and rate it a 5 star! But I don’t think that anyone would rate it a 5 star because of that! And I just noticed that there is something called DIY I wanted to try it but it says *UNLOCKS AT LEVEL 400* I feel like you did that for people to play your game! Well that’s a bad idea! Make it at least level 50 or under! And why do you have to work hard to get gems to be put in the piggy bank and then when it’s full or when it gets up to 400 gems or more you have to BUY it! For $2.99!!! I don’t think it’s fair, we work hard, then we have to pay!? You should do an update where it makes the game fair for the players of it not for you (or only you), I’m just gonna say I’m gonna give this a 3 stars for now,💢

Too hard. I am on level 431 so obviously I really like this.m game but some of these levels are impossibly hard. You’re dependent on the tiles the game gives to you but sometimes they don’t even give you a chance to complete the level. I have been stuck on this level for three days. The lives take forever to reload, instead of refreshing them all once it’s only in every 30 minutes and I’ve notice that sometimes if I open the game and I only have like a minute left for a life and then switch to send a text, when I go back the time didn’t go down and I still have to wait that minute. Sometimes I can go through all 5 lives in not even 3 minutes because of how hard the levels are. And having hard levels is fine but you also don’t get any boosters unless you complete a room or they have an event which even then yo I had to win every level back to back to even get. I’ve been playing for a while so obviously I’ve finally Gotten frustrated enough with it to finally write a review. At least this game doesn’t constantly ask you write a review! 5 stars for that

Losing interest. Love this game, it’s one of the best decorating/matching games. However, I’m getting to a point where I’m losing interest in the game. I’m currently at level 3127. It’s now costing between $15,000 to $18,000 for each item and you only getting $975 for completing each level. You have to play 15 to 19 games just to get enough for one decoration. It’s becoming to time consuming and really not worth it anymore. Plus the matching games are repetitive. After playing over 3000 games you think they’d come up with something new. I have read the reviews on this game and a lot of people say it’s hard to impossible to pass the levels the higher you. Obviously it’s not because I’m currently at 3127 and I have never spent any real money on this game (I refuse to spend real money on games). It’s all about strategy and thinking a few steps ahead of possible outcomes. Like I said I love this game but it’s going to be like the other games I played where I got over 3000 to 5000 and just stopped playing because it’s not worth the time anymore. It’s not as fun anymore.

Love the game, too bad 90% of it is playing a DIFFERENT game with lives that run out!. I wanted to play and decorate rooms. I was fine with the limited choices and all that. But when you have to play a different game just to play the main game, and you only get 5 lives it gets annoying. I spend 10-30 minutes trying to get coins only to either lose all my lives, not be able to afford what I need still, or if I do get enough coins (for ONE item) I play the decorating part of the game for literally 10 seconds and then it is back to the other game. You shouldn’t have to be good at another game to play the main game. When I run out of lives I just leave the app. I’m not spending money on this game, so unless you get rid of the lives (the mini game is hard enough as is) or allow players to still collect a portion of their coins even if they don’t complete the mini game all the way, then I will only use this game for the 10 minutes I can until it wants to me pay cash again, then I’m out and moving onto a different app.

It is not a “MHE”. This game is so fun, I love when I get to build and the candy crush thing is so cool! I think that we should all say it’s a good game but, it is just my opinion! Others may think different summit think the same it is fine whatever you think, because sometimes I don’t like games either… anyways time to get to some things I want your to fix, at the beginning of the game it gives you so many texts and that’s annoying. It also gives you a lot of stops for them to do texts and that is all so annoying, otherwise the game would be really good, let me explain a little more about the texts… so if you’re a beginner they’ll pop up every like two minutes but I don’t know the rest because I just downloaded it but I think that they’ll go away after like a day of playing but it is very fun especially the part where you have to do puzzles to earn money, it’s my favorite! Costly. I really like playing this game but everything cost too much. Some games do not even give you enough chances to play the game without having to buy just 5 more chances for 90 pink gems and many times you have to buy several times in order to complete the game. Many games have items that take 2 or 3 times to remove. That’s not fair. 90 gems is too much for 5 additional chances when you have set up the game up to need 3x as many chances to beat the games. It’s like the Property Brothers are purposely taking advantage of their customers. And it cost up to $3000 dollars to add a book and flower on a table. You pay $1700 (increased from $1350) to cleaning up a few boxes to begin many games. The game too expensive and I’m going to have stop if something doesn’t give. I know that’s my problem and not yours, but I would think you shouldn’t want to lose a customer or have such a bad rating. I see I’m not only one that addresses these concerns. Also at this time my game has been stuck for a few days now, right after I spent more money to buy more gems and I can not play. Will you help?

The games are too hard!. So I really wanna be a designer when I grow up so I have been looking at tons of different design games, I got this game six months ago but I thought the games were too hard, so I deleted it, then last month I got it back and I really liked it and the games seemed easier but my only problem with it is that if you one little mistake then you loose a move and there are only 5 moves and when you run out of those 5 moves you have to wait 30 minutes to get one move! So I spend most of my time waiting to play to earn money then actually designing so I would not recommend this game unless you like to sit and wait rather then actually designing! So I would like the makers of this game to fix that! Another thing would be to do a larger variety of options for designing there is mostly just like colorful colors for some or just neutral colors and I would like if if the game makers could add a larger variety of options! Thanks! So no I would not recommend this game until the game makers fix everything!

Do NOT download this game.. I emailed technical support because I was unable to locate the ability to vote for negative stars. I was hoping for some mental design stimulation, but instead I was asked to buy more and more at every turn. I spent more time playing OTHER “Tetris-like” games that were IMPOSSIBLE to beat without having to buy MORE. Save your time, and DO NOT download. I’m disappointed if the Property Brothers are aware of this operation of their game. They should fire whoever is their head of PR and marketing, and promote the head of IT. This app is negatively accepting their reputation. finally gave up after all the wasted time of playing games I had zero intentions on playing, and downloaded an app called Home Design. It does have in-app purchases, but I’m not to that point yet. So far it’s good, and very enjoyable. It’s more of an interior design app. You receive awards and more money by voting for other players designs. You’ll receive more perks if your design gets the most votes as well! Ps. Don’t download. Also, I’m pretty sure the game is glitched and inconsistent. I saw it cheat me multiple times while playing the teris-like games. Pleas don’t fool is into this candy crush scam.

Amazing game. I have been playing this game on my phone off and on for years! (Pretty sure as soon as it came out I downloaded it.) I recently downloaded it on my iPad. On my phone I am on level 743 and on my iPad in about a month level 682, I haven’t even spent money on diamonds or extra lives. I did this past week buy the season pass only on accident. I genuinely love this game. It’s really helpful with passing time, keeping me focused on something. I call it my brain waste, because while it’s providing me nothing but a good feeling once I win a level, it’s useless. I love design and I like that this is gives you limited options and most every one is a good one, keeps me from overthinking it. I also enjoy that it is completely doable by just winning the levels. You do not have to spend money on it at all to play. No adds, doesn’t push spending money or anything. A wonderful game and whoever designed it needs to do more. Everything is amazing about it

Costs lots of real money. I so enjoy the “Property Brothers” design part of the game which is why I got this. I wanted a relaxing fun interior design app. The design part is fun and I like the design tidbits from the brothers. BUT the game is rigged to where you MUST BUY more gems with your REAL money. Too much. In order to keep designing, you must pay 10-20$ a day for about 45 minutes of candy crush type play so you can earn enough to buy one sofa or one window to design with. If you had an actual chance of progressing through the design part with your skill, this might be fun. As it is, just annoying. I will delete the game because it is so rigged. It’s like a slot machine. You put money in and really no chance of being able to continue the game with your skill, only your real money. If the “Property Brothers” really are behind this game with their name, they might want to reconsider because it is a rip off and damaging their reputation. And I love them! And they say this game is ok for above age 4, really?! It’s gambling, and you lose real money,a bad slot machine. The two stars are only because there is some design part.

Sheep’s clothing. This game looked awesome. It really is, but the candy crush game is horrible. I didn’t want to play that game at all yet this game forces you to play a different game to earn the money to renovate. I flew through to level 60 and now I’m waiting on the candy crush game refreshes and hated that part of the game anyway. If this game allowed you to renovate a home using a different “funding” method it would be great. I almost would rather have an ad than play the stupid candy crush game now. Lasting Developer Tips: They don’t need that other game AT ALL if they redesigned how the money is made or utilized. Have design challenges that reward money, and sub choices with different values so we could spend less in one area and more in another. We are locked in to how much we spend! Unlock customs colors and styles (e.g. after we select a style of counter, use a color wheel) we could customize various designs and scale that cost as well. It is like the game designers don’t ever watch any HGTV shows? Let us control how we spend the money and then score the house on design with the same budget as everyone else (allow others to rate if posted to public).

Love, Love, Love the game but …. I love playing Property Brothers! I used to play a similar game but it was “cartoon” decorating and the developers made it IMPOSSIBLE to advance at times. NOT SO, with Property Brothers! The game is challenging but we know if you stick with it we’ll be able to solve the difficult levels in a “reasonable” amount of time. Well Done! (I could play the other game and be stuck on a level for multiple days - not fun, deleted that app and now I’m a 100% devotee of Property Brothers). Where the “but” comes in is on the “Season” challenge. I love paying a reasonable amount to get the extra turns, win the extra goodies BUT … every time I get to the end and win the “season’s piece of furniture” and the “5 (FIVE) Minutes of TNT” I only get 3 minutes and 14 seconds. This happens every time and even if I go directly to play a level I’ve lost 1m 46s before I even begin. I feel cheated every time. Please fix this if possible.

WARNING. i would have given this app 5 stars but once i realized my eyes where being subjected to unnecessary floods of FBI interrogation lights repeatedly - combusting blinding white lingering light with EACH move made, i planned my exit. but first why is this app trying to white wash our brains with this bright empty white “color” then saturate our eyes with ugly color choices to make our designs? it’s outrageous how much white this app wants to make you see. there should be a warning. so yes, the designs are out dated. choice options are all similar so unless you like ugly you’re not going to find a design choice that makes the cut. it’s expensive. it’s repetitive, it’s difficult sometimes which i don’t mind but when combined with hours of play at the same level and white light for EVERY match made, it is a recipe for a headache. get it, but you won’t be staying for long. i stayed way too long because i was a team captain for a group of people, and i kept torturing my eyeballs so i could keep playing with the team. but bye bye. oh yes i raised the issue to support team and got a canned answer. so no telling if a real person took note of my issue, which i can’t be the only one, to heart.

It’s so HAAAAAAARD. The thing is, I just need more moves, and you shouldn’t have lives, you should be able to replay the puzzle more than 5 times before lives are out. Also, I thought that when I got this game it would be like just designing a home. But of course not.I wish you had incorporated more of the puzzle part in to the advertisements because I thought there were no puzzles. Kind of like homescapes. The incorporate a different puzzle in their advertisements than the one that they actually make you do. This was somewhat like this but I just wish that If there are going to be puzzles, they should change to a more interesting one instead of the same candy crush type of game, over and over and over. And let’s be honest here. You give us like 20 moves to beat a level 800 puzzle. uhhhhh no thanks. And it takes like 30 times to beat it because there are so little moves. Please please please please PLEASE reply to this if you are reading it because I feel like the game gets very hard as you keep playing and I want to know that you are listening and trying to help.

Lost Interest Quickly. This game looked like it might be a good one at first. But the levels quickly got tedious and frustrating and the items got expensive. The special side projects where you use “tickets” are almost impossible to complete within the limited time given. Tickets are hard to accumulate (a handful per completed level) yet they want you to spend 57 of them on one item. Ridiculous. I realize that the developers of practically every app in existence are hoping to make money on them, but it’s not worth it to those of us playing. They should just charge for the app itself and let us pay and play in peace. I have been playing Storm8 games for years, such as Restaurant Story and Bakery Story, and their games are usually pretty fun. In those games, you don’t have “lives” to run out of. They’re dependent upon help from your “neighbors”. This game would really benefit from being the same type of game. The brothers from this renovation show should probably reconsider lending their names for this game. I had it for about a month and I deleted it right before I hopped over here to write a review. Storm8, you should pay attention to what your consumers are telling you. I hope you actually read your reviews....

It’s a decent match game.. It’s a game of matching colors. As a perk, if you play enough levels, you get to add an item or two to a room, or remove debris. But it’s more of a match game than decorating. I have house flipper for PC. That is a decorating game. This is a good game for folks who like to play the match color games. It’s just not for me. When I got to a level around 100, which isn’t as far as it sounds when it comes to the decorating part of it. I only got to do a handful of areas, I no longer could proceed. The HARD level is just too hard for me. Tried quite a few times. I didn’t see any daily login perks, or they’re hard to find. Looks like it’ll require another purchase so I’m done. iOS games are a bit too much anymore price wise. I prefer PC for this kind of game. For match games, iOS is fine if and only if the devs are not greedy. This one seems a bit greedy and tight. The first part of the game made it worth the purchase I made. I paid for a few days of fun. That’s fine. But there’s no more for me here.

Fun game, but could be improved. I don’t normally review apps but I really just wanted a way for my thoughts to be heard about some improvements this game could use. First, I love the concept of this game and I love the property brothers, so I was super excited when I found out about this app. However, I wish that it was easier to win the games and get coins as I got this app to decorate and didn’t even realize there was a mini game aspect. The mini game really slows me down and it ends up taking me days if not weeks to get enough coins to purchase one of many parts to renovating a room. This makes it to where it ends up taking me about a month just to design a single room. On the designing aspect of this app, I love it but I really just wish the options were easier to mix and match if that makes sense. Other than my issue with getting coins and designing, I think this is an alright app. I probably won’t continue playing it for much longer, but if those aspect of the game are improved I’ll be more inclined to continue playing the game (and spending my money on the in-app purchases 😉)

Great game, but could use a couple of improvements.. I have been playing this game for months now, and I am almost on level 3000 (yes I am aware I play this game way too much). It addicting and a ton of fun especially when you have free lives. One thing I would love to see added is more options in terms of furniture. Also, I feel like the prices of the items are extremely high, and it takes me winning at least 6 levels to get one item. In addition to this, some of the levels are so difficult I will spend a whole day or more trying to beat it. I enjoy the challenge, but the 5 lives last me around 5 minutes if I am stuck on a level. I feel like if I were to continue playing this game, I would need either more lives or free hours of lives more often. Overall, this is a very unique and entertaining game that I keep going back to over and over again, but it could use some improvements. Update: I have now finished all of the homes and rooms to decorate. Please update soon so i can keep playing!!🥺

It’s fun but.... I think your game would be fun if it weren’t for how fast you can go through the energy and how much each little remodeling thing costs. When I first got the game it was fun because the remodeling only cost like $500-$600. But now they cost like $1,700-$1,800 an that’s a little much for something as little as a coffee table. Also I think you should either give out more energy’s or shorten the time it takes to refill or get another one. I think besides those two things, the game is really fun and I love playing it, but I can’t play it for long because of how fast I go through my energy. I hope you will read this and maybe try to fix it because I read a few of the other reviews and it seems like we’re all having the same problems. I also feel like it’s not a design game. It’s just a game to for you to make money. I’ll spend a few days maybe even a week trying to pass one level to buy a flower. You really have to work on the difficulties of the levels and the prices.

Would give 5 stars if........ I love this game. I never leave reviews for games, but I like this one so much it’s worth it to leave one. This game is a mindless way to pass time, or take my mind of life stresses for a few minutes. I love the challenges, the rewards of 1 hour or 3 hour infinite play, and the extra boosts that come along the way. I don’t mind spending some real money from time to time, especially on my full “piggy bank”. Every big “milestone” level, you get rewarded a bonus. But what’s with level 4000? Just passed it and nothing. No fun video, and no bonus rewards for making it that far like with levels 3000, 2000, and 1000. I was really looking forward to that! Also, I do wish that the decor challenges lasted another day or 2. As levels get harder, you can get stuck on one for a day (or more depending on how much you play), which doesn’t allow for much ticket collection in 3 days. But great game overall. Thanks for keeping me entertained!

Disappointing. I really like the game. I love to design (wish there were more options) and I enjoy the game to earn coins however, some levels take days to get through unless you want to spend money to help you. I for one will never spend money to play a stupid game that is just a pastime and I have no intentions to allow it to be an addiction. Once you’ve used 10 lives on one level, it should give you more help to get through it. I have another game I play and when you run out of lives, you can watch a 25 second video (commercial) and gain points to buy another life. It never runs out, you can watch it as many times as you want and keep playing, maybe this could be an option in this game to keep people interested and less frustrated. It also tends to freeze up with the latest update, which is annoying. And why do you have to wait almost 2.5 hours to get all your lives and lose them in 5 to 10 minutes😫 Some chances to play the level are impossible to win because you never get the double colors where needed and no bombs🤔

I love this game, but.... I’m on level 3000+ and now it is taking forever to design a room because the price for item have become unreasonable. A plant for one corner of a bathroom would never cost $12,600, and then you have to buy two(?!!!) when you’re only earning 975 per round(?!!!)... plants😳 not even real furniture. It’s discouraging. The coins I earn during the bonus hours are spent on 5 items tops, and then I’m back to waiting a whole week to see if I can complete a room, if that. Do better on the cost of items at the upper levels. UPDATE: The new updates that allow for double the points and more bonus rounds have solved the issue I mentioned above. Thank you for listening! Another thing I noticed though is that we earn gloves and tickets to make furniture and then have to use the coins we earned to place them. Seems like double dipping to me. Shouldn’t it be free to place them since we’ve already played to build them?

What's with all the new ads?. Was really loving this game -- the graphics are amazing and it doesn't take endless earning of coins to do the fun things, so you can make progress without it feeling like a struggle (and therefore not fun). But something changed in the last week or so. Now, you have the option to watch a video ad and get 2 additional moves during a game -- that's all fine, since you can choose whether to experience the ad. But now you also have to sit through random ads in between attempts to beat a level while you still have lives remaining. So, for example, you lose a game and instead of getting to try again because you still have lives left, you have to sit through an ad. You don't get anything for watching it -- no extra lives, no additional moves -- it's just an ad for no purpose other than to make the developers money, and it ruins an otherwise really lovely, well-designed and enjoyable game. Very sad to see this change in the experience, and will likely not play this game as much now because of it.

LOVE but just a few suggestions :). Hi! I LOVE this game and have been playing for a while! It’s so fun and I recommend it all the time. Absolutely the best design game that’s for sure! I just have a few suggestions that could make the game even better! For starters gems can only be gotten by spending money so maybe we could swap in coins or watch an ad. I also have noticed some complaints with being unable to finish limited time challenges i for one dont but I spend a lot of time on the game, I feel as if an extra day or more tickets would be great!! Lastly the levels get a tad repetitive after awhile so some new things being added would be much appreciated. Here is a random idea I had that I think would be AWESOME: So maybe once you get to level 1000 or whatever you could design your own house with coins and gems that you could have your avatar live in. I’m not really sure just think it would be a fun addition!

Fantastic Game. This game is such a fun game. This is my favorite design game by far. The only thing that I would fix is the amount of lives. There are 5 lives but if you are on the “hard level” those lives can go by really fast. Once you run out of lives, you have to wait 25 minutes just for one life. If I created the game I would fix this problem by either giving each person 8 lives or replacing the time limit from 25 minutes down to 10 minutes or less. I guarantee this game will have a 5.0 rating total if this problem is resolved. Please fix this and anyone reading this review, I promise you will love this game. It isn’t just fun. It is satisfying. I’m just saying that everyone would love it more if this problem was fixed. Thank you! Edit~ This is a suggestion. I think once every 2 weeks you should dedicate 3 days to completing limited time challenges that players couldn’t finish. That way, we can continue doing our expired challenges! Fun game but needs a few things. This game could easily be a five star game and the best thing about this game is no ads ( I just played and can’t remember seeing one) but with that being said I would not mind watching an ad or two for an extra life or even diamonds. That’s where the other 2 stars are. There’s no incentive to keep me playing especially because the levels are getting extremely harder. There’s not even a way to earn boosters. If I can’t get an extra life or two at least allow me to get help. It takes wayyy too long for one life to reload and there’s no possible way to earn diamonds unless you pay real money!? I’ve had the game about a week and like many of the other reviews there needs to be more ways to earn lives and diamonds and boosters. This could be a good game but that’s a deal breaker. **also the game ad shows we can move things around *that’s literally the only reason I downloaded it and I have yet to discover that feature. If not, that would be an amazing feature to add to the game along with the other suggestions

Drew and Jonathon, we need to talk.. THIS GAME DRIVES ME ABSOLUTELY INSANE! BUT I AM ADDICTED. It takes literally 5000 years just to renovate a SINGLE HOUSE, but this game tricks you into having a false sense of accomplishment when in reality there is no end in sight for your real estate dreams. You finish all the tasks in the kitchen AND THEN THERES MORE. And once you spend like 3 hours working on the kitchen you find out THERES MORE ROOMS. And you have to keep playing these STUPID GAMES TO AFFORD THE RENNOVATIONS. why do I have to find a lamp? wood? FEATHERS??? it would literally be quicker for me to buy a house, go to home depot, buy the supplies, fix it all BY MYSELF then it is to finish a single house in this game. BUT IT LITERALLY GETS YOU ADDICTED SOMEHOW AND I CANT STOP. its damaging my real life relationships at this point. everyone i meet is just a vessel for a property brothers referral reward. i cant sleep at night, because all I see in my head is the little matchy game that provides no satisfaction. I fear i may need to contact my lawyers soon.

Great means to pass time BUT... I can understand some users disappointment or frustration in levels being too hard the farther along you get, I on the other hand, enjoy it, being that it tests your cognitive capabilities, and the puzzles are formulated based on said abilities. At least that's what I've learned/gathered. Yes, it's advertised as a fun, time passing home design game, but what's wrong with challenging yourself every now and then? If that's not your style and you simply just want stress fee, simplified design gaming, this game isn't for. Simply just uninstall. No one is holding a gun to anyone's head to proceed. However, I do agree with a lot of users.. it's pretty ridiculous that you have to spend so much time or feel obligated to purchase powerups in order to advance in the game. It does state that it's designed for ages 4 and up...come on now...I don't blame anyone for uninstalling this game for that reason and a few others, alone.

Fun if you’re filthy rich. This game doesn’t deserve these 5 * score reviews it’s supposedly getting. That’s almost as insane as the game itself. I am a master game player. Tooting my own horn here. I’m appalled and insulted that these two guys would represent a game like this. They should be ashamed. I’m ashamed of myself for allowing myself to waste so much money on this garbage when I should’ve spent it on my kids, truly disgusted with myself and telling you so you don’t end up feeling the same because I actually care... unlike Property Brothers because they are making a lot of money off all of us and that’s fine if it’s fair. It’s addicting (I’ve never been addicted to a game like this so bravo game makers) because you can’t get anywhere without spending a lot of money. I finally had to erase the game because I was spending so much money on the “candy crush” game just to design one piece of furniture at a time! Play “Design Home” where you earn things and win things every day. You can spend $2 a day on furniture, win furniture and do amazing things, entire rooms, several a day if u want. No Purchase Pass?. So listen, I love this game. I love the puzzles, I love the designing choices. I love the quips between the brothers. But hear me out; I am on Level 147 and I have not purchased a single thing to help me win levels. I say this because I’m just not going to. I just want to play the game to play the game because it’s great. I feel like if I know, and you know, then we all know I’m not going to be making any in-game purchases. Can you please just let me play the game without having to wait almost two hours for five lives which go insanely quickly because of the insanity of difficulty in each level progression? I love the game. I love you. Do you really need my $4.99 or $.99 to add to your empire? I just want to play the game. Not What I Expected. I was really excited to download this game once I discovered it. I actually enjoyed decorating the little homes; the home decor options they give you are pretty cute and the game is slightly satisfying. However, I was sadly disappointed to find out that in order to obtain the coins needed to buy the furniture and home decor, you have to constantly solve a series of puzzles (which is their version of Candy Crush I’m assuming), and have to pay out of pocket for other items that are quite useful for the puzzle. Also, I should mention that the puzzles get undoubtedly difficult as you progress (as expected), but it may take hours for you to complete the overall task of the game itself, which is to decorate the homes of course. I started playing the game around 11:30 PM and stayed up until almost 5 o’clock struggling to finish the decor challenge. Although I am a bit obsessive with wanting to finish any task I start, this was still very annoying and frustrating lol. Long story short, be prepared to play this game for a while if you wish to complete a full challenge. Good luck!

I’m deleting the app.. This is a good game. It’s got great graphics, good design and style. I used to play this game and when my lives ended I’d switch to another game, and then forget about it for days. The levels were hard to play at times, and sometimes would take many tries to complete. So, it didn’t really hold my attention for long. Then they brought a cool feature where you can get two more moves if you watch a 30 second ad. This really upped my addiction to the game. I was constantly playing it. I’ve probably watched hours of ads at this point. I quite doing other more productive things to play the game. Then I payed the extra $4.99, and suddenly the 2 extra moves option was gone. It’s no longer fun to play. I’m back to it taking forever to finish a level, and it’s really made me not want to play anymore. Even after I just paid $5. So, this is me protesting, and I won’t be playing the game anymore. I’ve checked back all week to see if it was a weird glitch or if they brought the option back, and no they haven’t. You can’t add a feature such as that, and then just take it away. Stupid!

Very frustrating. At first it’s ok,fun, but then you spend more time playing the “other game”, that’s kinda like a candy crush, only worse and harder, so you can get money and coupons to keep renovating. I downloaded the game because I like the hobby of renovating rooms and stuff, but it’s less renovating and more trying to win that stupid game so you can get very little money and coupons to keep renovating. Each game you win, you get like $670-$750 in coins, but to put a freaking pillow and books on a sofa, cost $1,090 coins. And if you loose “the other game”, you loose a “life” and then have to wait half an hour or more to gain a life to keep trying to beat the game to renovate the room. IT 👏🏻DOESN’T👏🏻MAKE👏🏻SENSE👏🏻 There’s too much going on in this game that doesn’t have anything to do with renovating. If you wanted to do like a candy crush game you could’ve do it apart from this one. Or at least make the game better so you can actually renovate a room. On top of that if you want more coins, lives and rubies, you have to pay, no thanks. Property Brothers DO BETTER!

please fix !. I love property brothers, but i will say that the game to earn coins and the little purple tickets gets so hard that i couldn’t beat a level after the 50-60+ mark without having to waste all my 5 lives and then coming back to waste all 5 again. ALSO they don’t give enough moves for the levels higher than 50. I never write reviews or anything but this made me so upset because i really expected this game to be wonders, which it is but i just wish this could be fixed! also i expected to have more options when decorating the house and furnishing but you only get 3! please increase the amount of options we have ! last thing, it’s honestly so hard and annoying to get the purple tickets because i can only get around 10-15 in a single match and i could barely complete the challenges because of it. thank you ! i hope this could and will be fixed in the near future! other than that i do recomponed getting this as a side game since you can’t really spend hours on it as of now!

Love this games. I like that you have the freedom to decorate as you see fit, but also that you can go back and change the designs later, and do the DIY challenges. The designs are also fun and colorfuk, and the journey peppered with interesting and useful information. I also appreciate that the dialogue isn’t cringe-y in the sense that I find game dialogues can be so vapid and sexist sometimes. The algorithm for defining your luck in the game also seems to work well. I have two requests for going forward: 1) I am clumsy and have big thumbs, and I often hit the wrong button - I’m sure I’m not the only one so it would be great if there was an undo button, even if you could only use one or two times a game. 2) I agree with another reviewer’s point that it would be great if we could choose to use the infinity power up - I will sometimes play this game when I have five minutes to kill, and if I’m not strategic I will often waste that power up.

Not like the preview. Preview shows pictures of rooms that you can decorate, but in actuality you’ll be looking at a candy crush style game most of the time to earn points to purchase the items you want to change in the room. Want to add a picture or a rug to a room? I’m on level 70 and that will cost you anywhere from 1,000-1,400 points and you only earn about 700 points playing each game. Seems easy right, but it takes several times to win one game so instead of decorating a room, I’m playing candy crush. I don’t think I can pass my current level without forking over some cash, so I’m deleting the app. This is not how I was expecting to spend my time when I chose this game. If you’re down to spend a lot of actual money, you might enjoy this more than I have. Developers, please make us a game that we can sit back and relax to where we’re just messing around with room design. If you want to make money, sell the decor items shown in the game. A couple of wall hangings and decor items I’ve seen in the game, I would actually buy at a fair price. Like a virtual IKEA ;)

You can’t get bored of it. I love this game. The rooms are so much fun to design and I love that you get to decorate three different rooms in the same house. I feel like it is hard to get bored playing this game because there is just so much you can do. It’s not difficult to earn coins that are used to decorate so you don’t feel like you’re stuck on the same room forever. There are also multiple rooms you can decorate at once by playing 1 v 1 challenges, decorating the limited time challenge rooms, and playing in the team challenges. All these options make it hard to get bored. I’ve been playing this game for 3+ years and I haven’t spent any real money on the game and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything at all. My only wish is that there was an option to pay to go ad free. Overall, this is a great game and definitely deserves 5 stars!

Beware!!. This game is awesome, it’s fun and the games are entertaining. So, here are my issues; the coins have been disappearing from my account without using them!! I like to play the games to establish a bank account to finish a room all at once. I had notice a few times the coin amount went down without purchasing anything. So, I kept an eye on it. My account went from $22k to $7k. Honestly, if it wasn’t such a dramatic decrease I probably wouldn’t have noticed. But I did and was livid! Next, you can earn “hours” of game play to earn coins by completing designs. I purposefully do not finish design so that I can utilize those “hours” when I actually have the time. The game starts the clock on that earned time even if you do not “ok” finishing the design challenge. I have been in touch with customer service on both of these matters and have not gotten resolution besides (paraphrasing here).. “ it didn’t happen and that’s the game”. Lastly, every few games you play to earn coins to complete the challenges are virtually impossible on their own. I can’t believe it but I actually have spent real money to buy time/lives/tools to win the games. Which makes loosing coins in my bank account and earned “time” even more INFURIATING!!

More Game Playing Than Designing. I initially was excited to upload this app as I do enjoy watching Property Brothers on HGTV. I was very disappointed with how this game was designed. Like some of the other design apps the items offered are priced very high however, this app chooses the items and only gives you a choice of 3 color designs. As you make your choice it reduces the amount of currency in your account. To increase your currency balance, one method available is to buy additional currency to replenish what you have spent. Unlike some of the other apps you can choose to play games to build up the currency in your account as an alternative to paying for it. However in order to get the currency you have to win games which advancing you to the higher levels. You have several opportunities to win each game but more time is spent playing games to get more currency than designing a room. I should note that I did spend $2.99 but would not spend another cent. If I wanted to play the games featured on this app, I would have just uploaded a game app. Needless to say I will be deleting this app.

fun. needs adjustments to fit multiple customers demands.. I really enjoyed this game when I first started playing it. I was kind of addicted actually. But as time went on it is still fun but I find myself playing less because it is not easy to make changes anymore. In order to purchase one item to add to the room, I now need to pass 9 or 10 levels, which take quite a bit of time. Given the limited lives, I no longer find it worthwhile to play. Even if I play for half an hour; I still can’t make one change. Someone else reviewed this game and I would like to second their recommendations. Firstly, make the items cost less so it entices more people to complete levels and further their progress in the game. Secondly, make rewards such as unlimited lives for a certain time redeemable whenever the player wants/ not exactly after you get the prize. Thirdly, make diamonds redeemable for free. There’s no point to earning them in the game if afterward you have to pay to spend them. Good game and I will continue to play once these implementations have been made.

Very good but a bit boring after a while. I just downloaded the game tonight. I have been playing for about 45minutes and I’m already on level 38. I am really enjoying so far. As you probably figured out it is a design game. You play different levels of bock game to gain money to design the house. When it’s time to design you get three choices to choose from. It is very easy to play. I do in joy it the game is kind of basic they could make it little bit better. I think it’s a very good game for younger kids since it’s easy. One thing that rally enjoy is that I haven’t Gaga single as yet. Every other game on the market is cramming ads down your throat every second but not this game. Edit: I got this game on Saturday and know it’s Monday. I’m not so sure I love it anymore. I am on level 60 and I can’t pass it. I keep running out life’s and I can’t get more unless I pay $2 to buy more gems. No way am I gonna spend real money on this crap. They made level 60 impossible to pass.

A good game but there are some things that i don’t love. This game is very fun to play while I want to pass time. I generally enjoy playing it but there are a few things that I don’t like. I’m not saying (or typing) that they need to remove these but they just aren’t very pleasant in my own opinion. First of all, I pretty much hate the lightning bolt thingy because I was just peacefully playing the game and randomly I LOSE the matching game and so I try playing it again and it says that I don’t have anymore ⚡️and it says that I have to wait 30 minutes to play again. Also, I don’t really like how they just randomly add different things into the matching game. Including that I mainly downloaded this game because I wanted to design the interior of these houses, the fact that they keep adding random things to the matching game. Lastly, I feel like the furniture shouldn’t be so expensive, especially the tickets. The tickets are quite hard to get and when the furniture is really expensive it gets annoying.

Modified review. I have given this game more stars, but not all of them because there are improvements I hope they’d consider. First on my list. Stop charging a obnoxious amount of coins for items that would be significantly cheaper in real life. Like “end table decor” will be some books and a plant and they’ll take over $2,000 of your coins/money. We are playing a design game because we cannot afford to remodel and design in real life, so why make us pay more with our fake money? Just my perspective. Second on my list. Most games have challenging levels, and it can be challenging in various ways. This games favorite thing to do is leave you one move away from completing the level, and then you fail. Sometimes for several days, my longest time stuck on a level was a 9 days. You can buy five bonus moves for 90 diamonds, but for the same value you can buy 5 more lives. You can only get diamonds if you buy them with real money. There’s no way of earning them. So this means Jonathan and Drew want the $$$ and not just the idea of a fun design game.

I liked it at first. I really liked this game at first! The levels were good and even harder levels you could win after a few tries. I’m currently stuck on a level that I’ve been trying to beat for DAYS and I refuse to spend more money on this game (I’ve been desperate to buy diamonds a few times). I can tell that all they want is money because they make you spend it for everything. There’s no options to get anything for free. And it’s kinda crazy you have to beat 2-3 levels just to be able to buy one thing for the renovation. They get more and more expensive as the levels increase too. AT LEAST make it so that you don’t have to pay 90 diamonds for everything because when I spend money to get 100 diamonds, it goes away instantly just from doing ONE thing. They don’t provide enough boosters/bombs. If you’ve done a level 50 times, they really should provide some help at that time. Even before then..it’s just ridiculous. And I’m sad because I enjoyed it at first. Also takes too long for your energy to refill, which guess what, if you want to refill, costs 90 diamonds! And you only get 5 energies!

Could be so much better. There are a few things that are frustrating about this game. Most of all ADS. Besides all the places you would expect to have to watch an ad, the ads many times morph into another ad and when you finish a level, you have to watch and ad? Never mind that I have gotten into an endless loop with the “done” button, then hit the “X” then done again etc. I might be missing something but it seems you don’t know that a level is a hard level until after you push the start button when you no longer have the option to use boosters. Another frustration is that there are always multiple arrows directing you to do something other than what you are doing. I am all about multitasking but this is just annoying. Oftentimes when you go where the arrow says there is “nothing there”. Once, I did not go on to the next design challenge on the Home Screen and when I tried to find it I couldn’t. It would also be so much better if you could go back and look at the designs you already completed.

Love this game but.... The further you progress, the more expensive and impossible this game gets. Some of the levels have so little moves that you can’t beat it unless you start out with power ups or enough blocks together to make one. due to the fact that there’s no moves to make and you have to reshuffle, sometimes you just blow through all of your lives without being able to make any progress on your renovations. I agree that you should be able to save your free play for when you can actually use it. For example, during the challenges, after you get 20 tickets you unlock an hour of free play which automatically opens. It would be cool if you could put it in an inbox or somewhere where you could save it for when you are actually available to play. I love this game, I’ve played it an embarrassing amount of time and and spent an equally embarrassing amount of money. That being said, I don’t think you should have to spend money to progress or to be able to beat the higher levels.

Could be a lot better. This is overall a well thought out app and a great game but there are some things that could be WAY better. 1 I hate it when you get on one hard level and you can’t pass it or it takes you days to pass it because you keep running out of energy’s. Either energy’s need to take less time to be created or they should be taken out of the game completely. Or the little games should be less hard because for me the fun is the designing. 2 it wants me to pay money constantly, it always asks me if I just want to pay some money to get more energy’s or something. There should be other ways beside paying money to get some things (though you can still completely enjoy the game without paying for anything. 3 thank you so much for creating this game, some reviews don’t talk about the good things but this app is really great. All of the dialog is really fun to read and the illustrations are beautiful. The different design options give you enough freedom to make it your own without being completely overwhelmed! Disappointed. Okay so giving 3 stars because the game was fun AT FIRST. Love the twins’ interaction and getting to design homes for “clients”, BUT… As you progress in the game the levels become unbeatable and items for the homes become outrageously priced. Just a suggestion here; maybe make the prices of the items more realistic so it feels like you are buying actual items for the home. For instance a house plant that costs $1700? Not in a home I’m decorating. It would be fun to actually showcase that items such as these smaller items that make huge impacts are a realistic approach to decorating. The game gives really good realistic advice to actually decorating homes but then players have to pay unrealistic price tags. I know, I know, this is just another puzzle game, but step it up and not be “just another game” and instead be a fun unwinding tool for those do-it-yourselfers that want to redo their own spaces but don’t feel they can afford it. Making it real on the game can inspire people to do the same in real life just like the show and the snip-it of advice the twins give in the game.

Disappointed. I wanted to love this game as much as I love the show but all the other reviews are right. It starts off really fun & great. The designs are really nice & it’s a very easy game. It’s just when you get to a certain level it makes harder to play. All the furniture is almost 2000 coins so you have to play almost 4 games just to earn coins to buy ONE PIECE of furniture and it’s so tedious. There’s so many games you have to play to finish one room. Then the explosives in the game don’t really get rid of anything like the wood and there’s so many things you have to collect with so little moves. Making it almost impossible to get pass that level. For example you have to break the ice and wood to collect 50 vases, 6 plants and 20 pillows in 15 moves. And then you earn these diamonds that goes in a piggy bank and once it’s full it wants you to purchase the piggy bank with real money for $2.99. Hopefully the developers actually listen and try to resolve a lot of the issues and make the game better because it could be a really cool game.

Steep pay wall appears early. This could be a fun decorating game but it’s really a glorified matching game. There is a dearth of quality decorating games and an over abundance of matching games so it’s disappointing that this is WAY more matching than decorating. You have to spend several hours matching to earn enough money for just a few minutes of decorating, unless you want to get nickel and dimed to death, and they really need to do more to bridge that gap. It could be fun but the cost of mundane items jumps really quickly after the first level, you don’t really earn boosters, and the matching games get so difficult and frustrating that it isn’t even fun after the first level. They want you to have to pay frequently and it shows, it’s so obvious that it leaves a bad taste in your mouth and cheapens the property brothers brand. They can’t be this desperate for a check, can they? Disappointed and after a couple days, deleted. Responses to other reviews saying the same thing says they are working on aids and boosters and that they’ll be out “soon” but that was a year ago sooo you can see where the priority lies. A lot of money for only a modicum off fun. Just not worth it. Feels like a shake down.
