Incredibly fun and challenging experience. I played this game with my PS4 controller and wouldn't have it any other way. It's a tough and unforgiving game but the gameplay evolves and scales for difficulty well. Highly recommend learning the iconography for which resources upgrade your suit and prioritize accordingly.

Amazing IPhone game. The graphics, sound quality, everything about this mobile game is awesome in my opinion. The music behind it gives it another great feel.. the controls could be a bit better but it’s not game killing ..

Another no mans sky.... Waited for this game since it’s reveal on the Apple Event, only to be somewhat distasteful experience due to the lack of adjustable controls it’s really clunky experience trying to get a hang over the thrusters. The blurred out graphics on my iPhone X doesn’t make any sense at all! I can’t adjust the graphics, kinda depicts the visual aesthetics of the game from its true self. The Pros are certainly there; for say the movements of the character seem so polished, even the movement of the flashlight is somewhat breathtaking for me. The climbing effects, and many little other things like the controller support it actually fixes the hassle of the controlling issue and makes the experience even better then before but I’m carrying a DualShock 4 or whatever else with me at all times! So other stuff like achievements of dying all make up an overall good experience but not amazing due to the cons. If they can get fixed just like No Mans Sky I can change my review but for now I stand by it.

The game is very good. From the beginning of the game, the red light in the lower right corner has been flashing, it seems to have been storing data, and then I can not choose to save, but also cause my data loss, what is going on?

App freezes up allot while trying to save progress. I love this game and I’m giving 5 star review but it’s really frustrating it keeps freezing up on me and I close out the app it still frozen starting up. During games saves trying to save progress it freezes up and won’t let me play it even after closing out the app and restarting.

Great game with weak controls. This is a great, atmospheric game with excellent art and music. It is what you want in an iPad game. It is a substantial journey with fun gameplay and no microtransactions or pay to win mechanics. Finally, iPad has games that can compete with thirty year old GameBoy titles. The big problem is that the controls are more than a little loose making controls tough especially when you have a small margin of error, and this will cause some portions of the game to be harder than they should or we’re probably intended to be.

Uniquely Satisftying & Addictive. The game plays very well. Graphics, music, sounds are all part of the underwater world you are making your way through as you find all you need to survive. Of course, it is trial and error with certain aspects of the game. But it us fun and I quite enjoy all the features. If I do not fully understand some of the game, I will work with it until I eventually do make it through the challenge. With that being said, I would like to learn that I have yet to find is a much deeper instruction on features not covered within the games basic instructions. If there were a way to go to a specific gameplay directions, it may not be as frustrating while trying to figure out some unique feature not explained with the existing instructions. There nay be a site that goes into the overall gameplay that I am unaware exists. If there is, I would love to know. But this game ranks high on my favorites within the Apple Arcade grouling.

Outstanding Game!. This is hands down is the best game I have ever played on the iPad! Extremely addictive, relaxing at the same time challenging. I couldn’t wait to see what was next. Please add more levels or come out with #2 soon. Graphics were awesome, keep pushing iPads capabilities. I know it can do even more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game.. So far behind Oceanhorn it is my favorite! I loved the three characters (diver, little helper and sub). I enjoyed playing and being able to save and come back. I spread it out over a month just playing when I had a few. It was really fun and challenging in spots. I am actually going to replay it to get the few things I missed somewhere. I found both endings sad so it shows I was invested. Would love a sequel or more added to this. Thanks developers for the obvious love and effort you put into it.

Best on Apple TV. This is the best game I’ve played on Apple TV, and it demonstrates Apple TV has a future in gaming. It plays great with a controller! CAPCOM came up with a very smooth-playing game that challenges the gamer’s critical thinking, delivers a unique experience, and has some creative challenges to it. I also love the mystery of the game, where, for most of the plot, the gamer is trying to understand everything! This game also transitions seamlessly from the Apple TV to my iPhone through cloud saves. Great product.

Not enough information on how to slide on ice. I was playing the game and I got far-ish and I loved the game. My favorite animal is sharks and my dad works at apple so I wanted to try it. I played the beginning and it said that the suit can get covered in ice and that if I slid on ice the ice would brake off. I tried sliding and i could not slide because it did not tell me how to slide. I want to also recommend not starting far back but to get closer.

A strong Metroidvania game (3.5-4). The difficulty: challenges and tasks are on par with more known games. It pulls you in for multiple hours of play. Bosses will likely need multiple attempts to defeat until you learn the tricks to beating each. Classically like many games within the genre: game starts off with a sense of progression, and then you get submarine, and better weapons, allowing you to move more about the game to separate areas and complete tasks or just gather supplies. Negatives despite the quality of game, the graphics lacked and appear dated, controls may work well but were hampered by waiting for video to play out last moves. To that, too many wait and watch scenes to play out. Storyline was good, but not entirely understood, but after an attempt on the final boss one must watch game credits before re-attempts, forcing this user to force close the game to play from the last saved location, which coincidently is the same location if you wait out the credits. Final boss win is anti-climatic, dude disappears and video plays of parting ways of robot assistant, (who, BTW, just pushed you into the boss fight, changing the storyline completely), then credits again. I'd recommend the game, because of the brain work and challenges, with the caveat that the anti-climatic ending, poor graphics, and lack of scene skipping may cause loss of interest, frustration, and putting away for some time. It's beatable, takes mild-moderate effort, with multiple re-attempts.

Wow. Don’t let some of the reviews sway you. Yes you need to learn and fine tune the controls. I started at midnight and could not put it down for an hour straight even though I should be going to bed. I’d keep playing if it wasn’t for that pesky thing called sleep... Really good game.

A solid metroidvania game. I didn’t expect to see this sort of games on a mobile platform. The world is large and expansive, full of hidden rooms and secret paths. Art and sound design is superb, marking it a joy to wander in this massive underwater maze —despite the terrible resolution on my old iPhone 6s. The default touchscreen control is not so well designed. It’s easy to mixup different actions. Fortunately the game supports gamepad. I connect my PS4 controller to the phone and it’s certainly a great improvement. Overall it’s a great game, reminding me of those old adventure games on NDS. Since I get it with free trial of Apple Arcade I can’t really complain much.

Beautifully Rendered. Immersive Experience. This game is so detailed, thoughtful and well done. There are wonderfully varied levels and creatures and just enough challenges to keep you entertained for a long time. The world is so creative and kind of creepy in a good way. It may not be the most challenging in terms of gameplay for hardcore gamers, but it’s cinematic and captivating for sure.

WOW. I always thought if developers could just focus on making a game for mobile, and not have to worry about monetizing, they could make a great game. This is, by far, the best mobile game ever for gamers. From audio to graphics, this game is a masterpiece. The gameplay is so fun, I would buy this on console in a flash. Hopefully they make it available. And as for Apple Arcade, it’s a great deal. This game alone is worth the money. My only suggestion would be that I wish I could also buy the games separately and keep my subscription.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Hello! This game is incredible and the art is fantastic. The one thing I need help with is finding what i have dubbed “the hidden sea” which is an area that i have not found but does look like if I find it I can travel there in my sub. I really do not care what other people say about this game but it is really great when you are using the submarine. On a sad note though I was thinking what if I could pick different kinds of submarines for instance, one with a ranged weapon instead of melee like the drill? (I have beat the game in 10 hours which is a record for me).

Thrusters. The thrusters are really clunky. It really isn’t obvious how to properly take advantage of them. Skillful mechanics are easy to grasp but difficult to master. These controls are not easy to grasp. What makes them unintuitive is knowing how to properly initiate the thrusters. It seems like I can only use them when I’m falling. Really annoying.

Super fun hope to see another like it. I was hooked as soon as I started and beat the game in twelve hours (over about three days) The only thing I didn’t like was how hard it was to understand the storyline. I got most of it but some of the portraits I had to stare at for a long time to understand it. Also I really love completion in game and I thought I’d be able to go back in after the final boss and collect everything I didn’t before. Instead it keeps spawning me at the save point before the boss. And this would be fine but the trigger to this final boss is also the elevator to go back up. So because I forgot to make an alternate save before I got to the bottom-bottom I’m in a loop of just fighting the boss. Loved it and I hope to see another like it

It is a good game.. All games like this on a phone are fun, but maybe all don’t know, if you have an Xbox one or ps4 you can connect a remote via Bluetooth. It makes this game and others 100 percent better. However if you don’t have a remote, it’s still a good game. So far I am finding out that the Apple Arcade is worth the 5 bucks a month,

Great Game on the iPhone. Having a blast with this game on the iPhone. It’s so atmospheric, and the controls work well after you get used to them. On my 2018 iPad Pro, however the game is running in a lower resolution and it looks pretty terrible. I hope this gets fixed as I see no reason why the most powerful iOS device available can’t run this game better than my 2 year old iPhone.

A must play, an absolute atmospheric masterpiece from Capcom!. I really love this game, it’s a laid back platform game with excellent graphics and art style Capcom is known for. The character designs are great and the idea of a lush, deep sea environment is presented beautifully. This is a great game to play if you want to unwind or relax after a stressful day. This game is a primary reason to get Apple Arcade, and current Apple Arcade users should not pass this up!

One of the best games that I have played. This game is so fun. I like the gameplay and the controls. The graphics are amazing and the game is easy to understand. No problem with loading as everyone is stating. I am wanting to see what is coming next. Can’t wait to see what is in store.

Great fun on a larger tablet. I played the game on a larger iPad and enjoyed it. Everything needed to complete all achievements was discoverable with a little searching. The hardest part was figuring out how to get resources in the sunken ship map where fast currents block the way. Repeatedly boosting the thrusters (upward swipe on right side of screen while using thrusters) did the trick, but thrusters had to be upgraded to full to get to everything.

Why aren’t more people talking about this. If you like your metroidvanias more on the Metroid side, and also like them super beautiful and chill, then you will likely adore it almost as much as I do. Not just one of the best games on Apple Arcade, one of the most compelling exploring-platformers ever. Hey Capcom, release the soundtrack! And while you’re at it, an art book of the production material! By the way, there’s a number of negative reviews on here, and it’s clear from the complaints on most, they didn’t play more than an hour of the game 🤥🤫

Fun Metroidvania. This game was a ton of fun. I played it using a controller, and took about 12 hours to finish. The sound design is awesome, so wear headphones if you can. The graphics are evocative, and though there isn’t a lot of explicit storytelling, you get to see the implication of a rich and detailed world. The game is full of mystery and exploration with a dash of action.

Awesome!!! and Tragic. I just love everything about this game. The sound, the effects and how the creatures was made. Fighting the bosses was terrible, i kept trying till i had em defeated. The ending was tragic. Lost first battle and got converted by the ultimate creature, but I tried again and chose to live for humanity. The creatures plus the effects really got me on a climax. The game was quite difficult but it’ll surely while away your time and you wouldn’t know. I hope apple keeps doing more cool games like this

Can’t play 30 seconds into the game.. So I just ran out of my sunken submarine because of the ice that just moved in... and I’m almost completely out of air... I should find some air I suppose. I jump off of the cliff and somehow a set of bubble thrusters kick in and I uncontrollably whoosh around and fall into the canyon. Well this is bad! Oh good news I am 3 steps from some bubbles. But I can’t make it. Dead. No problem I’ll just avoid engaging the thrusters this time. I respawn back at the sub. Now I have literally no air in my tank at all and so I have no possible way to get to the first set of bubbles. Dead again. And again. So I quit. How can you make a game where you respawn with literally 0 health?

Love it. Kind of reminds me of Undertow since it’s underwater. If I could buy the game I would, but it’s Apple Arcade only. This one I’ll stay subscribed for. Otherwise I would have unsubscribed after the first month. This is one of the Apple Arcade games that has it all.

the game was over pretty good🤷🏻‍♀️ (4.5 stars). i just finished the game today and overall it played well except for the submarine controls. And when you have to fight one of the bosses with it it is absolutely terrible. But other than that the game took some understanding to get used to, and i got about a quarter of the way in and got stuck. and then i gave up on it for a while and came back to it today and figured out where to go. And after that i just finished the game and i didn’t realize how much time passed. But it was around 6 hours that’s how immersed i was. And i really didn’t enjoy the ending that much and i played both of the endings. Which theres a good and bad ending and i will say the good ending is satisfying but kind of sad at the same time. But look at me i got sad over two characters that don’t even have any dialogue😂😭. But overall it was a pretty okay game for a mobile side scroller. Overall i give this game a 4.5 but it won’t let me do 4.5 on the app store

I might not get it but this is definitely not for the average. Takes a lot of time staying on the loading screen (Game Center crashes on my Settings, probably Game Center API related?), very blurry graphics on iPhone 7 (the game likely runs at a much lower resolution), unengaging prologue, unengaging gameplay and controls, transitions and animations feel like you’re playing a game from previous console generations. Deleting the game for now. I had high expectations for the games that appear on stage when Apple introduced its’ very own Apple Arcade...

Beautiful game! Great story!. Wow, I felt in love with this game. It took me 9 hours to complete the story. It was very immersive I get lost into the deep of the ocean. The story was amazing, those endings where very hard to swallow, because both are sad endings. This game should be the Game Of The Year in Apple Arcade. Let’s name it the GOTYAA or the AGOTY (Arcade Game Of The Year) or something like that.

Worth a Second Look!. When this first came out on Apple Arcade, I gave it a huge pass based off of reviews. I was very familiar with Capcom games and this didn’t look up to snuff. Well, this past winter (20-21), Arcade had a ton of lackluster games and seeking something adventure-oriented, I decided to check it out. Despite the funky graphics and janky controls, it’s a pretty good Metroidvania! The underwater setting was original for this type of gameplay, end there are genuine frantic moments to be had when you realize you’re really deep in a crevasse, short on air, and low on harpoons and supplies. It does have a weird sci-if setting (which it goes full in on with confusing menus that won’t make sense initially), but reminds me of far-future stories like Valley of the Wind. Boss fights are meh, but if you’re looking for a low-key exploration game to tide you over till the next (hopefully) Metroid, I highly recommend this title.

I feel traumatized... immersive experience, it’s a good thing.. This game was absolutely incredible. Best game on a mobile platform hands down. About being traumatized... that ending was rough. Goes to show how involved I felt in the game. Wish the final boss was beatable (he is... if you get good). I hope to see more games like this in the future.

Outstanding. This game is fun and challenging. Some reviews talk about the controls being terrible. I’ve played for about 30 minutes and yes the controls take some getting used to especially when you need to hold onto a wall while digging for resources. But once you get used to them they are easy. As far as the screen being “blurry” while on iPad. I am playing this on my iPad and the screen looks great. You need to understand that you are under water with plants and all sorts of other things. This isn’t Cancun it’s a survival game in the depths of the water. Play this game. You will have a hard time putting it down.

If this is what I can expect from Apple Arcade!!. Wow, fantastic game has a Metroid in short bursts feeling of exploring and upgrading the music and sound are phenomenal and the graphics on my 2019 iPhone pro max are spectacular! Well done Apple & Capcom I will happily pay to subscribe to Apple Arcade with ad free content like this!

Mediocre game and a terrible medium for such a game. It starts out almost promising before it reveals itself to be a middling Metroidvania. One could say that it is impressive that they jammed a game like this into my pocket rectangle. That is not true however since we were happy in much poorer hardware in consoles and PCs decades ago; it would have been impressive to see a game well adapted to phone use. Alas, everything having to do with it being a phone game does not work. The controls are terrible; crashing into stuff because the control limitations were not thought through has not been acceptable in video games for the past 20 years. Why are we back to it now? Furthermore, phone games need to accommodate being frequently paused and resumed; played for a few minutes at a time. This means games need to have a very robust map and checkpoint systems. These game has neither. Who does not have a computer or a console these days? Those media allow for playing for hours at a time and therefore do not need the above features. However, a phone game gets old very quickly without them.

Awesome Exploration Game. Excellent game on iPad 5. Rather than a shoot-em-up game, is very exploration focused, although you do have to defend yourself from various aggressive sea creatures and mechanical contraptions. Huge world to explore. PS. The last boss is beatable. I did it. The method is a bit contra-intuitive You just have to... Nah, I won’t spoil it 😊

Peak mobile experience. Shinsekai is by far the best mobile game experience I’ve ever had. It takes what I like about metroidvania games but blends into the slow creeping exploration of survival horror. Controls are wonky but in a necessary way. It feels on purpose to make you move with Caution. It’s also set up in a way where it’s easy to pick up for a few minutes and explore and mine a dark corner get some more resources and re-save your game. Like it works so well for mobile yet feels like such a console game. The arcade bar is set.

Eerie Post-Apocalyptic Fun. I recently played through Shinsekai: Into The Depths. And, I really took my time exploring every nook and cranny. The controls aren’t as difficult as other reviews might lead you to believe. They are a bit frustrating at times, especially in those critical moments when you barely didn’t move your thumbs just the right way. Unlimited continues are a God send with this game. I definitely recommend ‘Easy Mode.’ And, the final boss is impossible to beat. So, there’s that. Kind of leaves you feeling empty inside, like if the Cold War had never ended or something.

Incredible!. Had to stop for a minute to write a review. I..love..this..game. Keeps me wondering what’s going to happen next. Has great graphics and is just pure fun to play. I hope I have a long way to go yet. Great game devs! Some say controls are bad but it’s about learning how to use them. It kills me how so many seem to just want an easy game requiring no skills. It was hard to begin with but there’s a learning curve. If it’s hard for you to control, you just aren’t getting skilled in using them. The learning is part of the fun for me. I love it

Lost all my data. I got so far in the game. It’s really good but I do not want to start over. I didn’t change my phone, didn’t delete the game, I saved the game like at every save point. Came back to play again and lost everything and it’s asking me to play a new game. I’m confused and I wanna finish the game.

Blurry. Does not use the correct screen resolution for iphone8plus and does not allow you to adjust. Tired of developers thinking mobile devices are weak. You have no right. It is up to me if i want to run a 3D application in the proper resolution. Nobody is going to sue a game developer if their iphone overheats. Give me the option to use the correct resolution and i will change to 5 stars When a game uses an incorrect or scaled resolution you can tell within 0.1 seconds of playing. Its just disgusting. Talos principle is another masterpiece ruined because the developers are sooooo worried about the heat of MY iphone. Thats not your decision! I want a clear crisp HD game. Not this blurry garbage Thankfully 99% of games on iphone use the full correct screen resolution

Cool game but there’s one small oversight.. The game is fun and I love the audio they did really well with that. My complaint is very small and actually kind spreads to all iPhones that mixed the home button. In the game the home bar doesn’t go away. It’s more noticeable when the loading screen is on and the bar is just the brightest thing in the world. Seriously though it’s a cool game.

Good job. It did not tell me at first this would be a metroidvania but oh well. It’s such a good metroidvania though. But there are quite a few problems. The controls ( especially with the submarine ) are janky. The storyline is really hard to understand. I think that the best part of the game is finding discoveries and collectibles. And digging the minerals is always so satisfying. But the last problem I will share is this one uncollectible mineral. It’s located in the trench in the very top right. Where a lot of minerals are. And it’s a space without water. And I guess you are supposed to climb up the wall to get to the platform where the mineral is. But it wont let you climb to the right spot so I can’t collect it. And sometimes I find the saving things bit annoying EDIT: I just got to some air tunnels in the sunken ship and I have no way to get past them and get the minerals

Good game, I loved it at the beginning, but…. Beautiful artwork, great experience of exploring the deep ocean, a completed story line to find out the history of the ocean people.… Everything seems great in the first couple of hours, and I’d like to give a 5 stars if the experience continued. BUT, the gaming experience got worse and worse because of the map design. It looks like a Metroidvania type game, but the map design was really bad. There was not enough hint to guide the player to open the new areas. I was stuck in some points in the game, and run the whole opened areas several times but still couldn’t find the way or materials to go further. I had to go online to search guides to continue the game. That really effects the playing experience. I believe this could be a great game but there are still some places to improve.

Uniquely beautiful. Everything about this game is impressive. The graphics, the sound, the mechanics are all top tier. A uniquely satisfying and submersible gaming experience. More mobile platform games should be like this. Then it may actually become a viable replacement for consoles and PCs for something beyond quick and quirky

Love the game so much.... I really love the game a lot but I hated it that they didn’t explain how humanity got to the point of living under water. the drawing that explain were in Chinese. They don’t explain from were the hell all these creature come from overall this game was awesome but they need to put at least subtitles in English so we can understand the story behind it....that why I gave it a 4 star

Immersive underwater experience. This is one of the best games on Apple Arcade. You can really feel the effort the devs put into this game. From making all the sounds underwater (which makes playing the game with headphones A BLAST) to working on the physics on how the character’s body moves while floating around. I cannot stop playing this game. 100% satisfied with this game. CONTINUE THE HARD WORK YOU GUYS ARE PUTTING IN! THIS IS THE QUALITY APPLE ARCADE MUST MAINTAIN.

Best Game Ever With One Major Downfall!!. This is easily the best iPhone game I have ever played but unfortunately they leave you in the dark as far as how to actually play the game. After figuring out how to play through trial and error, I found myself engulfed in the game. Then I hit another major roadblock... I GOT STUCK 😓 The game gives you no help as far navigation other than a marker that shows where you should go but no actual clues on how to get there. If the developer is able to add some clues on how to find the next milestone then this game is easily 5 stars!

Under sea adventure!. The game is awesome and the endings quite interesting. The way the game makers make u have to watch your oxygen and the depth of your is a great component for a game like this. I do think that the sub could have some find of torpedo like component for it to use?

A world you can get lost in. This game surprised me with how immersive it can be. I never got bored throughout the entirety of the game, and I really enjoyed the visual story-telling style. The controls can be a bit finicky at first, but the game itself more than makes up for this issue. Without a doubt the best exploration game I’ve played on the app store.

Cool for about 10 minutes. Neat graphics and concept. However, a lot is written in a language I don’t understand, on a iphone everything is tiny and its quite a slow pace wit lots of cut scenes. Played for half an hour before I decided not to waste more time on it.

Needs improvement. Game is great, but when first playing it takes around a minute to load, doesn’t show a loading bar so it seems like the game is just frozen... very hard to understand what is happening, once you get the hang of it it’s an awesome game

Absolutely love everything about this game. From the wonderfully crafted controls to the amazing depth of detail in the visuals this game is amazing. I love the world this game brings to us, from the language, the creatures, the alien civilization; everything. Love it.

Don't miss!. Incredible art-direction, soundtrack, and story. Awesome metroidvania gameplay. I came away from this extremely invested in the game world. If I don't see another entry into this series, then I hope at least I will see the same passion and art in a future game.

Awesome concept. I’m loving this game. It’s interesting and does well not to feel repetitive which phone games generally start to. Super fun. I love the story - it feels like a mystery, but I’m worried I’m just overthinking it and it will turn out to be literally nothing. Who is this guy? Is this just a totally arbitrarily thought out underwater society? Is it like, post apocalyptic earth? Where is everyone else? Do we find any of this out, or again - am I just reading too much into it?

Cannot change the resolution. The game is fantastic but the graphic is compromised, the resolution option are greyed out both for my iPad Pro and iPhone 8+

Fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed this game. To me the resolution just adds to it as you feel like you are underwater. Ended far too quickly for me.

Controls are an issue. The fact that you can’t connect an xbox controller, and its an update that has been 5 months past due, and the finicky touch controls are the reasons for the 1 star. If this was fixed, maybe a 3.5 at best.

Super low resolution on iPad Pro 11”. Very disappointed to discover that this runs at a very low resolution on iPad Pro 2018 11” - text is blurry, textures are super ugly, framerate stutters. How is this acceptable for a new game in 2019? Capcom should talk to the oceanhorn devs because this is embarrassing (unless a bug)?

Randomly Jumps to Home Screen Unsaved. Great game but it periodically returns to home screen unsaved. Frustrating. Please fix. More instructions would be nice. Thanks.

Pretty game, terrible mobile controls. Yet another game in the Apple Arcade store with broken and unplayable controls on the iPad.

For Hardcore Gamers. While this game wasn’t for me, it’s very interesting and good looking. I’m just a casual gamer I like games that are challenging, but very easy to get into you, I like games were you understand the main objective and how to play them almost instantly but are challenging to complete or become skilled at. When I played this game, it didn’t take me long to realize that I would actually have to spend time learning how to play it first. You have to make sure your guy doesn’t run out of oxygen, and collect a bunch of stuff. I’m not saying this isn’t a good game, I am saying you’re gonna have to be willing to take the time to learn how to play it before you can enjoy it, so this one’s for the nerds (no disrespect intended) that like to get deep into a complex and well made video game, most casual gamers are probably gonna want to skip this one.

Classic 90’s Japanese gameplay. Love it, but the iPad pro version needs a fix for the resolution. It’s super low res and washed out. Aside from that, one of the best high-end games on Arcade. Plays like Metroid but with fresh mechanics and atmosphere.

Quality gaming. This is the best game I’ve played so far since getting Apple Arcade. Gameplay for most apps is becoming too simple and downright boring. From boring runners to basic 90’s platformers, I’m happy if a game doesn’t end up sending me to sleep. I had a lot of fun playing this. Well executed deep sea adventure and very lengthy as well. Finished it in about 13 hrs. Amazing job.

Great atmosphere, controls unplayable.. Great atmosphere but this game is unplayable using a touch screen .

Beautiful!. What an amazing game. I laugh in the face the person who called it “unplayable” due to the controls. The controls are amazing. They’re intuitive, and take practice before they become second nature, but once you’ve grasped it, it’s like riding a bike. The sound is immersive. The soundtrack is soothing and mysterious. I sure hope Capcom makes more games for Arcade, because I’m entranced by this one.

This is on mobile?. So I’ve played till the end of the game, and what a joy it was. The sense of exploration, mystery, and a sense of danger was also done visually well and sound. I am surprised to see a game of this caliber on a mobile device. And the touch controls were actually surprisingly well done. But a controller is probably still the better way. Made the final a bit easier. So very highly recommended.

Perfect. Don’t think this game is too hard, every game needs you to readjust to their controls, because you’ve never seen them before, this game is absolutely wonderful once you know what does what, the first part is a very good introduction to show you the kind of game it is.

Great game to play with your console controller.. The game is great and feels very good to play with a controller. My Biggest gripe is that it is too slow to load and save takes forever. I know that there is bug with loading games with controller connected. So always make me think if it's that issue.

Fun and unique. This is my favourite game so far. It has a unique atmosphere and console like gameplay. Though I will recommend playing on iPad or TV with a controller for the best experience. It is a great underwater exploration game with some interesting fights with monsters. Both graphic and music are very high quality. The only caveat is that there is some grinding to harvest resources as required to move to the next level. I hope capcom produces more interesting games like this in the future for Apple Arcade.

Nice game. Controls are a bit cheesy, lack of precision. Great graphic and storyline is good. A must to try at least.

Incredible game. Wonderful amazing game. Simply a blast to play. Only two tough spots but a enjoyable game!

Broken overhead climbing mechanics. When grabbing overhead monkey bars the game doesn’t show how to swing forward to jump off the bars. I’ve missed several items now because the ledge is a centimetre away from the overhead bars and I drop straight down instead of swinging forward just to grab the ledge. Super frustrating. The underwater controls are immersive (pun intended), using momentum to give an underwater feel. It’s the controls on land that are terrible.

For "first gen." Games, it's awesome. We have to consider that those games are the first try at "real" game throught arcade+. Capcom's game is definitively the best right now. It is difficult, but rewarding when you begin to master the controls. Of course, in the future, something similar with more liberty would be apreciated!

Incredibly crafted. Just an amazing atmosphere and fun game to enjoy. Plays so smoothly with a controller.

The Best Adventure Mobile Game. I have 13+ hours into this game, I regret nothing. Truly an amazing experience, really hope the developers release Free DLC in the future! :)

Playing on the 11 pro. And it’s legit addictive. Controls are slow because you’re underwater. Get with it critics. This game is an awesome strategy, time killer. My biggest issue is how often my legs are falling asleep while on the crapper.

Worth getting Arcade for. This game is amazing! The design, the mechanics, the exploration, everything on par with a console game. Highly recommend playing with a controller.

100% love it. It has a Metroid feel to it. Sideway scrolling, action adventure, boss battles, upgrade suit, weapons, equipment. I freaking love it. Applauding the developers. Super happy a game like this is on Arcade, fingers crossed that more games like this are released onto the platform. A+ in my book

Great Refreshing Game. Really enjoyed playing this game. It was a nice change from normal App Store games that require you to pay obscene amounts of money to finish.

Excellent game!. Different from anything I’ve seen on IOS. Very in-depth gameplay, lots to do and lots of levels/arenas/bosses ect. Controls are solid, graphics are excellent. This is a game I’d start over and play again now that I’ve finished it.

Best mobile game I’ve ever played!. I love this game, from the design to the detailed immersive sound, this game is perfect. Yes the controls take som time to get used to but after a while it becomes natural.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GAME. I am in love with the new apple arcade in general, but this game is what sealed the deal for me. I love the visuals, the music and the gameplay! Fantastic game. This game is fantastic. It feels like a game that could be just as well enjoyed on a console or PC. Tons of fun to play, and an ending that I found really quite epic.

Great Metroid-style experience with a Gamepad. visually its kinda fuzzy, and so far (1-2 hours in) its fairly linear but I still find this to be one of my fav games of apple arcade. it just feels like a fully fledged indie game off of steam or something like that and its great! highly recommended with a gamepad.

Awesome game on iPad but needs some improvements. So far this game is awesome but every time I get a kill it says sign in to Game Center and that’s all it’s a very peaceful game and if you make a second game about this you should do multiplayer

Excellent Game. In my opinion this is the best game I played on arcade so far. The graphics and game play are very good. You can see a great deal of effort went into the game. Enjoyable! Great job to all involved making this game.

SO COOL. Amazing atmosphere and sound design, I’d happily buy the soundtrack. Some gameplay elements get a little clunky in combat and can be frustrating, but well worth it.

Awesome Game! Use a controller. I’ve never been this immersed in a game that wasn’t on a console. I’m using the Arcade trial and hoped to sample a bunch of games. Played this and now I’m hooked I may not get much time to play the rest. I would recommend using a controller (Xbox/PS4 etc)

Metroid underwater. . . Brilliant. This game is the best in the Arcade. Hands down the best. Polished and refined. Worth the subscription price. Wish I could just purchase it outright.

Controls too hard to use. The game premise seems awesome and fun to look at, but the controls are either too hard to use or overly complicated. Seems they could be made to be so much easier to control, but they engineered it to be so different it was lucky I managed to get to the second structure. Uninstalling game after trying to play for 15 minutes.

What a masterpiece. Love this game so so much! Enjoy it the whole time. Graphic and sounds are amazing. I really hope there will be a sequel. But I guess there will never be one because the ending is kind of sad or lonely I would say.

Stunning Visuals. This game is impressive on an iPad Pro 11. The graphics could not seem anymore realistic. Highly recommended.

Shinsekai. This game is amazing the graphics are astounding at first it was a little difficult for me to play but once I hooked up my Xbox controller to it I very very very happy this game is awesome

Really unique and cool game. Controls pretty well with controller. Didn’t have much luck with touch screen controls. Pretty unique game concept and it’s executed well. Upgrade menu is unintuitive and confusing though. It seems UI has flipped materials needed and owned and it shows materials needed/materials I have. It’s not clear when I can upgrade my suit. Also when using controller the stick turns into a mouse instead of moving up and down and right/left through menu items.

Could be great, needs a little more direction. The gameplay and graphics are great. Not being able to find the materials to upgrade the suit makes it gamebreaking for me. Maybe I’m stupid but clearing 100% both maps that allow me to get out of the sub with no way to get deeper got old and killed it for me

Great game. I always wondered what kind of games the Apple Arcade had and this game really got me hooked it’s a great adventure game you also have to search for things to upgrade your suit underwater while also fighting creatures underwater

Looks like a fun game, but won’t load.. I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes now, and the game won’t load. I’m giving 2 stars because it looks like a fun game and they put a lot of effort into it, but I can’t play when it’s stuck on the loading screen. (Sorry, but I’m a very impatient person)

Love this game. This game alone has made Apple Arcade worth it. Reminds me a bit of Myst in that there are lots of puzzles to solve to access other areas.

Glitch. I loved this game played it for 7 hours, only to get stuck in the sunken ship and have no way to progress. The ancient ruins area where you pick up the item to influence the pressure was completely missing from my game. I never picked it up and had no way to obtain it. The pedestal it sat on was empty and there was no prompt to pick it up. Only option now is to restart the entire game....

Great but needs change. I think this game is great, but it does need one minor change. Whenever I save my progress and leave, but get back on later, the game pushes me back to an earlier checkpoint.

Jesus Christ. Everything about this game couldn’t be better. By far my favorite game ever. Takes some time to finish, but its so worth it it’s amazing. No issues at all.

It’s Not playing 😰. I downloaded the game, tried to play didn’t work, deleted it and reloaded it but nothing seems to happen after I open the app. The opening pic remains still and nothing is loading. Very cool. No vibration on Xbox controller?. I really like this game but when I was looking through the menu I saw a vibration option but it wasn’t able to be turned on. The Xbox one controller definitely has vibration. It would be cool if this worked

Outstanfing game in outstanding apple arcade lunch. The fps on iPhone require more work . PS4 controllers makes this game more exciting . We need more fun games like this one :)

Pacing and gameplay shine. One of the best, polished games I’ve found on Arcade. Slow, deliberate pacing with exacting controls give me this good frustration of not being able to just run from A to B, and then I keep saying I’ll get to the next checkpoint and quit, but...nope. Works well with PS4 controller on AppleTV.

I wouldn’t give this game less than 5 stars.. Play time is short, but worth every minute. Japanese people are really good at making games.

Apple Arcade is okay.. Apple Arcade is okay but it needs more and better content. It needs full games that are available on console such as Assassins Creed or RDR2 then you would be getting what you paid for. Oceanhorn 2 is the closest thing you get to a open world RPG and isn’t that interesting.

Skip if you have an iPhone 7. I would love to play this game but it has crashed on my iPhone 7 at least 5 times during the intro; all in varied places. Also shows poor performance, very hitchy. Please fix these crashes, performance/optimization issues. 2 stars for an interesting concept and for what I’ve heard so far. Would just love to explore it firsthand!

Too Slow. The presentation of this game is entirely too slow. Even navigating the title screen to make simple options took forever. Everything is so slow and unresponsive I wasn’t sure I was actually playing. Developers took the “underwater resistance” effects too far.
