Good storyline and lasting playability. Been playing this for a long while now and it’s still interesting, fun and I still have challenges left to conquer. This is not a game you will finish in a afternoon or even a month, but it does have steady progression and great storylines, beautiful graphics and the tower defenses are unique enough that you will not just get a set team and be able to roll over everything, you will have to think, and maybe run a practice run or two. Farming is made easier by a auto system... but be aware that unless you have absolutely nailed the board the randomness of the rolls may lead a enemy to survive and break the auto. They have a way to take back over to fine tune so pay attention. The only thing I would like to see is a better way to chat with friends. Supposedly there is a board, but you need to get off the game to use that, there is no in game chat so harder to get advice, I normally head to tube if I get stuck.

Good but confusing.. This might seem strange, but as I seen trends with YouTubers “Beating stages lore accurately”, I have a suggestion: Giving players a lore accurate mode but the player must do the rest. I find it incredibly confusing on how in the lore they can withstand literal bombs but when one single enemy mere BOOPS the unit and they instantly die, I just want a gun way to alternate between gacha + strategy = skill. And just go strategy to skill. I understand this would make the entire game near pointless as it makes it merely strategy and one of Arknights biggest selling points is the gacha, but maybe this could be added as a sorta “Bonus level” like the 4 star levels do, maybe even giving exp based on the possibility to upgrade to lore accuracy as a reward for following the lore. (By the way, sorry devs most players rarely read the cutscenes, it’s good but very, very, long, maybe this idea can be a more digestible way of the lord cutscenes.) (TL:DR, I want a fun option for lore accuracy as a fun bonus after completion of the level.)

Can’t play since the latest update (resolved). Let me start by saying this is an amazing game. The levels are challenging as they require strategy rather than barreling through with brute force, which is a plus to me. This game actually makes me think. The characters, stories, voice acting, and soundtrack are amazing and I can’t get enough. The gacha rates are set up so that I genuinely get excited whenever I draw a 6 star. However. I have been playing on a guest account (I know, bad idea) and the latest update is not letting me link my account so that I can reinstall it as the update recommends. I have spent money on this game, I have multiple 6stars who I love, including a lvl 80 Hoshiguma who I’m so close to getting to elite rank 2. As such, I’m stuck in a state of not being able to play for fear of losing my account. If this issue is resolved, I’d love to change my rating to 5 stars. Edit: the issue was resolved in less than a day! This game’s team rocks.

Arknights review. i was recommended this game by my fren. initially, very good game. i enjoy for many many hours. maybe 20 hours in i stop using amiya as main operator. i learn to kill heavy defenders properly. now i kill skull shatterer. ok. after searching i find out how to play integrated strategy. ok. i have played over hundred times at the time of writing review. i understand wat game is in end. you play 40 minute run, die, no progress. only death. game is like life but the life of lowlife. there is no honour in death in this game. you spend 50 minute just to get killed by last knight. there is no fun in this. i like doom 1990s. good game. but arknights... no more happiness. there is just sadness. i can get bigger surging waves.... but at what cost. i will not waste life on this. the better u get the more time is lost. fun game. do not play after 20 hours. 30 hours will result in 70 more hours wasted. plz b careful. nice game i like

Really F2P friendly. This game is pretty F2P friendly. The fact that this is completely PVE makes it so that you don’t need to compete vs other players therefore P2W is ridiculous and just ruining your fun and enjoyment of this game by making the content easier. 3* in this game can literally carry you through most of the content. I still use Kroos, Melantha and Ansel on my team and I’m lvl 60. Also the fact that 3* cost only 10k LMD to E1 is incredibly cheap which can sky rocket your progress. At the start of the game you get a free 6* and 5* from pulling the starter banner while getting another free 5* in amiya who is a great single target caster. Not only that, there’s two safety nets in the game. First one is recruitment where you can spend pocket change amount of materials for operators with some control of what type of operator you’ll want. Second is how after 50 rolls, the chances of a 6* go up by 2% every time you don’t roll one. Basically you get a guaranteed 6* at 100 rolls if you have the worst possible luck. (A 6* you don’t even need to clear the content btw). The gacha chances may not be as good as Azur Lane but Arknights is clearly very F2P friendly.

Interesting and enjoyable game. The game is really addicted. Both the gameplay and the content are invested and well-developed, which makes me feel excited every times it has new events or new chapters (even though some stages drive me crazy 😂). I would say that normally I don’t focus much on the content of most mobile games because they are not interesting, but Arknights has changed my mind. I always try to clear the maps so that I can unlock and read new chapters or new events’ stories. The characters in game are also well-designed and their skins are so worthy to pay. I have played this game for nearly a year and my affection for this game hasn’t changed at all 😄. I would recommend this game for anyone who wants a mobile game with good design, storyline, and gameplay.

Yis. So I like the game cause it used different strategy uses unlike more popular games I get ads for. You don’t have to pay for anything which is awesome because most other games require like a $5 USD just to remove ads and it’s ridiculous so I enjoy this game because I was just getting into popular anime’s and it peaked interest, so I downloaded this game thinking Aw well another distraction but I found it’s not as addictive as other games and you get the enjoyment of strategy without all the bull behind it. It’s all in how you build your team and with that said there is a chance of getting a 6 star character which might even be worse than a 3 star. So it’s all in how you place operators or even use them on your team. My favorite is Lappland she is a melee operator that also does aired attacks which means I have potential of adding another strong defender instead of 2 ranged. I will say once you figure out the game you’ll want to restart your progress just so you could have a better chance of getting better early than later(which is what I did). I will have to credit it to a Youtuber named Tectone he helped me understand the game so much better. So please download and have some fun, ps hope you get the chance to have a good 6 star so Good Luck.

Great gacha game but one glaring problem. Arknights is one of the few anticipated games I’ve ever looked forward to. It had actual hype around its release and it didn’t disappoint. Artwork is amazing, gameplay is fun, and the grind is rewarding. It’s my second most played game on mobile. But with grinding of course auto play normally helps a lot as it does with many games of its genre and that’s where this games glaring flaw comes into play. Normally you auto play to save time and effort in replaying the same content over and over for either drops or currency. You beat a stage with max stars you unlock auto play. That’s standard. What is really wrong is that this games auto play function doesn’t work like it’s supposed to. Many times the game messes up something that I did in my 3 star completion and an enemy gets passed and I end up with two stars, less drops, wasted time, and wasted stamina. It doesn’t refund you the stamina unless you just forfeit the stage. The game even acknowledges that it has made a mistake but does almost nothing in exchange. If this were a long once and a while mistake I’d overlook it and wait for a patch to fix it. But this problem is happening in almost every stage I do auto play on. This is a big problem in a game for this genre. Fix this and I’ll bump up the star rating for Arknights. But as it is now it’s a problem that definitely costs the game some rating points.

I love this game. I love this game but I think they really need to low the sanity cost to play the matches or give more drop farming some 6 star item is just takes u days for f2p for 2 reasons 1. We used up all sanity in just 4 runs for more lungmen dollar which cost 30 sanity a lvl 63 and can only do 4 runs with the sanity I have. not only that I can only do 4 the amount we get is just too little I can nearly upgrade my units with just 24,000 lungmen dollar in total I really think we should get more then that if it cost us all the sanity to do the highest lvl while we get so little in return. Reason 2 we play the same mission 6+ times but only drops 2 of the items we need and that’s just for rare item drops many of my friend quit for these reason please change something takeout the cost of sanity or increase the amount we get or low the amount it cost to play and increase the drop rated of items please

Literally My Favorite Mobile Game!. First of all, JUST WOW! Character design is incredible and intricate and the different cultures featured is great! The main story plot, and the side story plots, all have so much emotion and depth that you would not necessarily find in a tower defense game. I recommend this game to all my friends. I have a habit of getting bored of games after a short period of time but Arknights is constantly coming out with new content that keeps me playing. I actually initially got this game just because of the character design that just amazes me! (P.S. SilverAsh is totally my favorite…) All I can say is thank you for making this game global and making it in the first place. The plot can be depressing at times, which was the intent. Other than that a great game!

Best App Game. Honestly I’ve been playing this on and off since it launched. It’s incredibly fun and nowadays it’s more free to play than ever with how the game gives out free 5 star characters just for event participation. Even a low level or new person can grind those up as long as they’re active daily during an event. ^^ Back during launch you couldn’t get that stuff so it shows how much the devs appreciate their players because they listened to advice and over time developed things that we asked like this. The events are also much easier and less punishing than in the past. Once upon a time if you missed an event you’d have to wait a year for it to return if it ever would. Now you can unlock past events you may have missed with tokens you get just for playing. I love that they added that feature as well. Then came the long awaited anime series for the game. The story is just too good for people to miss. It’s not a game I skip the story for (though I’m guilty of that in many other games). Once in awhile I do take a break off it but I always return to this game.

Great game and would love to give recommendations. I am a returning player to this grand time of a game. The game is over all perfect with a great story line and even greater characters with a vast plot, even the combat scenarios makes you think outside the box. Now the reason I’m still giving this game is because I don’t see anything wrong with it, it’s a great game, but I believe there is some room for improvement, for one, a server chat or guild that can be made between players, and what I believe to be most important, a function in combat to raid missions, aka if you have the mission already set with 3 stars that you get the option to instead of waiting, to be able to skip through it, I would like these recommendations to be taken into consideration so it can help the game and even bring back old players who might have left the game, have a good time and keep up the great work!

Extremely fun and f2p friendly. I didn’t think I would enjoy this game as much as I do especially since I’m not a mobile gamer but I’ve been playing arknights every day consistently since I downloaded it, (Oct 2021) and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single moment from the story to the base interactions, “pulling” operator mechanics as well just leveling up all my cool operators. Also this game actually rewards you for playing it with all the daily logins and rewards from events and recently there’s been nothing but events back to back. The only thing I’d like to see is some kind of permanent coop thing where you can have more interaction with your friends. Sending clues and stuff is nice but having actual stages to play with my friends would be even better. You can make them kind of like contingencies where you fresh the level once every day and make it so it has some challenges added to it. Other than that perfect game 10/10 this game is being passed down to my childrens children and left in my will. Thanks Yostar!

I love the game, but there can be better updates. I’m currently level 74 and have played the game nonstop. I agree with another review there should be an increase to sanity, or the time should increase to regenerate faster. I’m a F2P customer. The only thing I purchased are the 5$ monthly packs which really helps you benefit. I think there could be some balanced patches when it comes to some characters kits. Also better drop rates, because as F2P if you waste your sanity (stamina) and get nothing from it . It was a waste and burns more time. The beginning is very F2P friendly but unless you watch the you tube guides on how to start out. You will burn through all the benefits you get trying to get a feel for the characters you want. Overall great strategic grinding game. I love everything they do and the events that have been coming out.

Good F2P game. Arknight is a chill defense tower game where you place your units on the field to defend many wave of enemy coming to your way from air and ground. The procession will take some time to level up your character and unlocking news skill that help along your way of tactically attack an enemy that is a threat to your defense. The content in the game doesn’t require 6 stars units with broken skill effect passive that the enemy attack and health a joke to defeat. Majority of the time all the content can easily be beaten with 3-4 star units which require lot of strategic thinking and trial of error. The currency of the game can be easily grind every week and sometime you don’t notice how many currency you have over the past months. Arknight is really F2P friendly and the game is balanced for whale and F2P at their own pace. Arknight is the game where you can be at your pace grinding for materials and currency for your recruitment pull and units/skill level up. The fun you get from Arknight is the satisfaction of level your unit/skill to max potential and using it at a stage where you need to process to the next stage level or enjoying having a good units you can use in your squad. Also alway remember that Arknight is only fun if you put the time and effort in the game where you feel you making progress either your units or a stage level.

Request for Recruitment. This is one of my top played games, so I obviously enjoy it a lot. I’m even happily collecting figurines and nendoroids of some of the characters. That being said, can we please get a skip feature for the recruitment section? I know it only takes a couple of seconds, but waiting for the recruited operator to get done saying their little intro got old by day 1 of playing the game. Maybe a “Hire All” option that hires all (out of the 4 recruitment slots) operators that are ready? Whether all 4 are ready to be hired or not…show a screen similar to the headhunting result screen where you just see the operators who have been recruited without having to wait for the scrolling text to complete? I know I’m being ridiculously nit-picky, but this thing annoys me so much that I loathe using recruitment. 🥲

Crashes. Now don’t get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE this game. I’ve always had a hard time keeping streaks with games, but this one just makes it so simple to keep a streak and keeping a streak actually feels rewarding. Unlike other games you don’t feel forced into spending money at all. Not trying to name anybody but *cough* food *cough cough* fantasy. Anyways it’s a really engaging game, but I have one problem. Perhaps it’s just me and my device, but it almost NEVER fails to crash at the end of each and every annihilation game. When I first got this app it rarely crashed, if ever, but after every update it frequency of the crashes increased. I normally am totally fine with crashes, cause hey, my device isn’t the newest and therefore crashes are probably because the software isn’t completely up to date, but I can’t save my progress from the annihilation levels at all. If you’ve played this game you’ll know that you have to manually play the level over and over again, you can’t just speed run through it. Even when it’s on double speed it still takes a long time, especially with the annihilations. Making a review is just one of the ways for my voice to be heard and I’ll definitely try to fix it, but for now I just want everyone to know that if it can crash it will crash. Anyways, I love this app and will continue to use it even if it crashes. Love you :)

An Amazing Experience. I just wanna say from someone that has played Arknights since it’s first half year anniversary that this game is honestly amazing. I’m still playing today and made a lot of amazing experiences with the game during my time playing this. I love the strategy that one uses in games with the different types of operators that we have, it really makes one think on how to best the stages and not to mention with how the newer updates are getting a lot more difficult it can be frustrating but my lord it is an amazing feel of dopamine when completing it. I hate to say this but I have 6 accounts on Arknights just cause of how much I enjoy it and the amount of gameplay that I am able to play and the unique team styles I’m able to make with the characters I am able to roll. Bless this game for what it is and I hope many more years are to come for this game and the community.

Reasons why I play Arknights. Ok, so let’s get the good things out of the way: amazing OST featuring songs from almost any genre, the game makes you think about how to overcome challenges, the game is completely free to play, as you can beat the ENTIRE game with 3 stars, you can even beat the entire game without leveling up a single unit (CN community managed to pull this off but the ch8 boss took 5 hours because again, unleveled units), the game gives you a ton of pull currency, and lastly, the game has great lore that will keep you reading. This story will tug at your heart strings one way or another. As for the negatives, the only one I have is that older units that came out near release are kinda bland, such as skadi whom’s skills only give her stat boosts. Luckily, modules fix this issue somewhat, but I believe older units should be reworked to have unique kits. Overall, I recommend giving this game a try. The story is a little boring at first, but trust me, it will ramp up in later chapters to the point where you start questioning what is wrong with the game’s world. Also, you gacha rates are pretty good, since you get a ton of pull currency every week. The character designs are great, especially the recent ones. I can guarantee there will be at least 1 character design you may like, or even love.

Great game that doesn’t hold your hand much.. In the beginning the game is fairly simple and easy to get however later levels and missions get real hard, real quick you really gotta be fast and think wisely about where to put units and how effective they are. You may have to repeat levels over and over because this game shows you new mechanics teaches you em then your on your own after that. You won’t get any help after they teach you you really got plan a strategy. Characters wise: you can train units, level them up, and increase there skills but unfortunately can’t increase there star rating, you can promote units but certain units have a cap then when you reach it and this only increases there level, unlocks there passive and sometimes increase there stats (depending on star rarity) unfortunately you may ether dump the unit or get a much better one that does better job that said old unit. While it is a gacha game you’ll rarely ever use it, not only is it a bit expensive but also there’s technically 2 gachas mechanics . The first one is you get to basically infinity pull because you get silps from daily tasks. However this will basically pull 1-4 stars which also duplicates. The second one you get 1 currency per level which you need 6 to actually pull even one unit. You get 1-5 stars but most of the time you’ll get a brand new unit. Instead of duplicates.

Great game with just a few frustrating things. I've been hearing about Arknights's Chinese version for a while and finally get to play it in the NA store. Great game design. Strategy matters the most in tower defense game and this game does a good job designing each level. Very challenging and fun to play. Characters have rich stories and personalities that I enjoy reading about. However there are a few things that gives me frustration. One being the auto deploy function still needs to play through the entire fight. If not possible to skip the fight entirely with auto deploy, can we at least make the play speed 4x rather than 2x? And having an option to continuously auto deploy until sanity runs out would be nice too. Another thing is that I wish there could be a option to change to other languages that has already been supported like Chinese or Japanese. I'm sure there are people like me that can only play NA store games but prefer another display language if available. The English translation is nice but I still find dialogues missing cultural reference sometimes.

Forever Love. Top reasons why I like this tower defense game better than others I played so far. First, the art style. Second, the race, the world, the story, the lore. Every operator has its own story and style. I really love to go through them and imaging them during my free time. Third, voice lines of each operator available for you to hear anytime. Fourth, male operators, not just only female like other games. Lastly, the game’s battling style. Awesome. All game has their cons. First, gacha banner pull. It cost a lot of in game currency and takes many months to save enough to get the operators you want from its banner, guarantee. So you have to choose which banner you want the most, wisely. Well, maybe you might be lucky. Second, there is no chat in game. well I’m fine without it. You can always chat on other social platforms, but I think it’s not bad to have it in game, right. Overall, I recommend you to play. =D

Fantastic Tower Defense Strategy Hybrid. I really enjoy this game. I have been playing for a few months now with no complaints. 1) Zero ads. None. I love this. 2) You can easily play this game for free. Playing completely free, I am able to easily complete the events and challenges. I bought a $9.99 package just to support the devs, but it was completely unnecessary. 3) After you do a perfect clear of a level, you can auto play it for the rewards. It does go wrong sometimes, but most the time it auto completes for easy rewards. A failed auto play is good incentive to replay the level with better characters and a more foolproof strategy. 4) The art style is fun but exploitive. 5) Did I mention no ads!!!!?!!!! Thanks devs for making a great game. Keep up the good works.

Excellent. If you want a game that is interesting, has amazing music and lore, dynamic characters with diverse backgrounds and designs, a relatively FTP experience, then Arknights has it. It’s one of the best games I’ve played on mobile, and one of the few that has kept my interest. I am really not good at strategic games, but it’s the love for the characters and evolution that has kept me going for 2+ years. Unlike some other popular games, the devs really seem to try to create creative and unique characters and abilities, and they really seem interested in providing a smooth experience for players. Have I mentioned how much the studio actually puts into this game? The music is phenomenal and they frequently release state-of-the-art anime style 3D animations that few other companies can hold a candle to. They genuinely seem to invest the money they receive from this game to improve and expand it. I can say that that’s really rare in the mobile game industry, at least in my opinion.

Great. The game is great, with an engrossing storyline. A storyline which somewhat correlates with real life events in a different manner. A F2P friendly game. The Gacha is decent. If you did not receive a 6* operator it compensates with a 5* operator from corresponding banner or any decent 5* operator. Do note that rarity does not often matter. Its their placement and capabilities that matter. Resource management is must for improving base facilities to promoting and levelling up your operators. The customer service is very entertaining and can answer your various queries in the in game customer service section. My only request is to have a >2X speed for games rather than at 2x speed. I noticed that on factory, upon obtaining some items (I.e.: EXP records and gold) the queue is often refilled to 99 when I only ordered 30 pieces of each item. Is this a bug or some thing else? That tends to cause fatigue to my assigned operators on the factory. Also on the trade post, when I tap it just to check the morale of my Ops in that post, the orders are collected. I dont want to collect them though. I want to accumulate them first and until they are full and collect them later on.

Been playing for over a month. The experience has been pretty good, it’s not as time consuming and you can auto stages for grinding, so you can definitely dibble in other games at the same time as well. The drop rate of the gatcha machanic is pretty good even for players who doesn’t spend money, where after 50 pulls the rare you get a 6star will increase 2% with each pull until you get one. I’ve just gotten my 5th 6 star saris at level 58 today after a single 10 pull on the saria&ifrit banner. On the last banner of penguin girl Magellan I got silverash on my second 10 pull, and on the Hoshiguma banner I got her after my 3rd single pull. The character design is great and the Japanese voice actors as well. Overall a very player-friendly game that would be worth your free time. Don’t recommend spending too much though, you can still clear the same stages and have just as good of a experience (but not better) without spending any money.

First “honest” Gacha. Swore off gachas after trying several and losing faith in finding one that doesn’t just milk its playerbase, until my sister suggested Arknights and I tried it in a moment of weakness. There may be other good gachas with similar practices out there, but I haven’t seen them. All content is F2P, with only the most premium currency up for purchase if desperate to meet limited-time skin deadlines, though it is available through F2P in surplus if you have the time to farm the lengthy story mode (great btw), which receives additional “episodes” regularly. There are several pity systems in-place to ensure you’ll pull 5-6 stars somewhat each banner, and a currency yielded on 4 star dupes that can sometimes be arguably more useful than pulling new units. Both the character/fashion designs and UI have got to be the most visually captivating of any mobile game I’ve tried. First boot up really blows you away. Good soundtrack, too. I’m several weeks in of playing daily and approaching halfway through the story content/unit collection/etc. Building new toys and solving from an endless bucket of puzzles is still fun and feels rewarding. Good game.

Frustrated. So I love this game. I’ve had it for a long while. I love the battle system and everything but I’m really annoyed at certain features. First of all a lot of missions want your operator levels high. Mine are fully leveled I only have 2 that have been promoted. I need chips, but to make chips I need OTHER chips. To get those I have to do the special farming missions. But they’re too difficult! No matter what strategy I try I can’t for the love of god get chips! Idk what I can e en do anymore bc I CANNOT progress without promoting them and I can’t promote them bc I have almost no chips or supplies. I can’t even purchase a pack of chips at the very least. I enjoy this game but this needs to be fixed. I’ve been waiting forever for something to fix this. I can’t even upgrade my base bc I need certain supplies that can’t build without OTHER supplies I need to farm but those missions are really difficult. Seriously what is that about?

This game was so good until............ So I was a good player I had quite a ton of time spent in this game also I was in a guest account out of no where I just wanted to see what was account management was and when I tapped it in the login page I thought it was so you could bind accounts but no it was for a new account and I didn’t even bind my guest account so when I got the new account I played a little bit and then I went into the login page again went into account management and went into guest but I noticed that when I logged in it, it was the starting level and then I noticed that I lost all the progress and I even went and contacted arknights, I went into there discord I even got a call but it didn’t work and I thought again that I am not gonna commit anymore time into this game if they can get my account back then I can have a change in words but for now I literally was not able to play the urus event I didn't even know that ruined the game so much but maybe it was my fault if I am able to get my account back I will change it to a 4 star or 5 star and I’ll be happy And just like I said I got it back I'm so happy and thank the staff -Sirius- for helping me I will try not to make a dumb mistake like that again

5* then 3* then 5* again. Starting out Arknights is an incredible mix of lane/tower defense style strategy with a compelling cast and world. Though one of the game’s limitations is just how long it takes to gather resources to build up a lot of your roster. For awhile you progress smoothly and it’s fun. The low rarity characters are capable of clearing content up through a lot of end game, but the low resource income especially early in makes developing the higher rarity and more interesting characters a slog. It can make progress in the game feel slow and painful for awhile in the middle. But once you start fielding some more interesting characters of generally higher rarity, you can start to enjoy the team building and tactical variety of Arknights way more again and it becomes one of the best mobile games to keep playing after a long time that’s out there.

This game is a RP/Tower Defense masterpiece. I’ve been playing Arknights since mid April, and let me tell ya, never before have I enjoyed playing a mobile game in my life as much as I have with Arknights. The game has a very innovative and compelling story, a story about opression, resentment, rebellion, hope, ect. I’d have to say that the story that this game has to offer is potential anime material. Next on the list is gameplay. The gameplay is amazing, and most (sorry Flamebringer) of the operators in this game are well balanced and easy to use in game. The diversity in enemies in the game also keeps levels interesting and fun to play, especial in limited time events. Another aspect of this game that makes it so fun to play is the side gameplay as well, being able to use support units form friends, operating a base, designing fun and unique dorms for your operators to chill in. Even the intractable chibi forms of your operators in your base are fun as well. This game is also very F2P friendly. I haven’t spent a single dime on this game, and I have four 6 star operators that I earned with my blood and sweat, no tears required. Arknights is a true masterpiece of a role playing and tower defense game, I cant wait to see how far this game goes, and how much better it gets

Great game also needs improvement. It’s a great game, I have played for almost 2-years. Most recent update again made the game more enjoyable and efficient. As a 2 year old player, I highly recommend Arknights can do this improvement. This will make the game much more efficient and keeps old players longer. Highly recommend Arknights to have quick battle mode, so that we can have more fun time to play the game and find solutions for hard maps. Now everyday, the time was spent on repeated maps just for clearing senity. No time to even farm for essential materials just because those maps cost less senity that even more time will be taken. I wish Arknights can seriously consider this suggestion. Many of my friends have burned out on repeating maps.

not f2p friendly.... i was initially incredibly hooked on this game, the aesthetics, art, characters and design of it all was very appealing to me. I enjoyed rolling, all of the characters were pretty unique and i even enjoyed the story, rather than feeling like i was being dragged along through something i didn’t care about. My issue only arose after i got completely stuck at a higher level. The difficulty almost entirely spiked out of nowhere, and because resources are very hard (time-wise) to get, i decided to uninstall the game. my team wasn't balanced enough to take on any new levels/events. and in order to roll for new ones/upgrade existing ones, id need resources that would only be dropped in missions further into the story. beautiful game and tons of fun, but unfortunately there was no way i could have managed to defeat the chapter 3 final boss WITHOUT paying $$$.

Huge potential, zero direction or help for new players. Easily the most overwhelming and new-player unfriendly mobile game I've ever played. They present you with a million systems and no direction and before you've hit level 4, you'll be faced with missions where you need to have fully mastered all the systems in order to beat them flawlessly (which, you MUST beat stages flawlessly to get any real reward from them...a non-flawless win might as well be a loss in terms of resource generation). The game has an in-game tutorial, but it's as barebones as theoretically possible, and there is no online "new player guides" of any worth. The game actively doesn't want new players, and it shows. On top of this, the GACHA currency is incredibly slow to be gained. You'll be doing 1-2 pulls a week for a LONG time if you're not shelling out tons of cash. One of the stingiest F2P experiences I've ever had. Oh well, game looked cool, but at the end of the day, it doesn't want me to play it, so I won't.

Fantastic Game. At first I was skeptical about a tower defense game with Gacha mechanics; but after playing for a week or so I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. Your ability to pass levels doesn’t rely on pulling top tier characters, but rather a sound strategy and a synergistic team which makes it all that more satisfying when you can pass a level and 3 star it. The game itself is fairly F2P friendly and it gives F2P players lots of freebies, but paying certainly helps you out faster. But since it is after all a PvE game and there’s isn’t a defined meta, those who wish to pay do so of their own free will and not because they have to do so in order to stay at the ‘top’. Give this game a try; if you don’t like it then all you’d have done is waste maybe an hour or two but if you do like it, you’ll find hours upon hours of entertainment.

Best Gacha game ever!. I play this a couple months after it is release (EN Server)! It’s was definitely a ride, love the story, lore, character backgrounds, and many more! Also, as a semi F2P, you don’t need to spend any money to get good operators! Many times, I pull the operator on the banner in 6 10 pulls. And the amount of free resources and OP they give you, you really don’t need to spend unless you want to support the developers, which I did. I bought stuff here and there to support them. Since, literary, this is the best gacha game ever!!! No complains at all, Arknights is a journey that will never end, so be patience and you will get every operator in the game! One wish from me: I want a one time purchase game (pc game) like how they make azur lane cross wave, maybe the gameplay could be fighting game like Smash or like fire emblem game play!

One of my favorite games :). I’ve played a couple mobages before, but Arknights is my favorite out of all of them. It’s got great aesthetics: the character design and music are fantastic, and there’s a lot of thought put into both the worldbuilding and the story behind each character (especially for a game that constantly pushes out new characters). The gameplay is also really fun (for me, at least). Tower defense is definitely a more niche style of gameplay, but I enjoy the strategic variety that it promotes. There’s also the fact that Arknights lets you grind without having to be 100% focused on the game: this is one of the best features, in my opinion. I’ve burnt myself out on grinding on other games many times before, but thanks to the auto-deploy feature in Arknights, I’ve been able to maintain interest and play consistently for the entire year the game’s been out. The gacha system is also fairly generous. Since it’s a tower-defense game, Arknights emphasizes team composition rather than maxing out individual units, which means it can be a lot nicer with its gacha rates. I’m an entirely F2P player (aka I’ve spent no money on the game whatsoever), and in a year of (active) playing, I’ve gotten 10+ six star units and 20+ five stars, many of whom I wanted to roll. Arknights does have its issues (story critiques and a lot of CN to ENG translation errors), but overall, it’s a really well-done game. The amount of care its devs put into it definitely shows through.

NOT F2P FRIENDLY CHARACTER WISE. This game is very well made. The story is interesting, the characters all have deep personalities, and the game play is clean and challenging. My only problem with this game is how ridiculously expensive it is to pull for character. Like, I get 1000 currency points, I get 2000 currency points, I could even learn to except 3000. But 6000 point for ONE ten pull is just mine blowing, especially considering the game isn’t exactly friendly when it comes to earning currency. I’ve played the game off and on in consistency for around a year (usually playing everyday for a week or two before burning out), and I think I’ve done a total of like 4 ten pulls. I only have two six star characters, one of which was given guaranteed in the first ten pull. Given the rates and the pity system, 6000 points is just too much for anyone who isn’t a HARD CORE grinder, or a hella spender. That being said, there isn’t anyway this review will actually change that, but I think I speak for a lot of low spending/F2P players who enjoy getting characters that unless something changes (drop rates, pity, or cost), I doubt I’ll ever really be able to enjoy this game.

Excellent Outlier in the Super Stale Genre. I play a lot of anime styled f2p mobile rpgs, and have spent so much time on. I only kept coming back for the art, really. The story wasn’t compelling, but this game is entirely different. The only rival to this game is Dragalia Lost, and even then, this game has an even more excellent story and a lot of love put into this. You don’t see a lot of these games credit artists for the art they provide, but it’s in plain sight here. The UI is really friendly and streamlined, and the drop rates are rather decent. This game doesn’t feel pay to win, but despite that, I probably will be spending money on Arknights. This is an excellent addition to this super stale genre that needed something to revive my love for these games. Also, the translation in this game is wonderful. Kudos to you for making a wonderful game :)

Nicely Executed. This is by far one of the best strategy game imo. Its not a pay to win fiesta, you can clear all of the content even with just 3 star units and 4 star units, the gacha rate is decent, u get 2% of pulling a 6 star and if u pull 10 times for the first time, you will guarantee to have a 5 star or higher. What i dont like about is the fact that you cant skip the stage you have already cleared, not the biggest thing in the world, considering how good the game is. If the game could speed up x3 for the cleared stage, that would be much better. The energy system is to me very healthy, its not like all the game i had played with an never ending energy, which could make the game very boring and im glad that yostar decided to make this unique enery system. Overall, if you into anime girls and has a strong taste for fierce and fiery strategic gameplays, this is definitely the game for you.

Desperately needs more content and quality of life features. Love arknights but it should really take a page or two from games like epic 7 that give players a lot of options of what they’d like to play. Currently with AK I grind out my energy in less than 5 minutes every day and I’m done. That’s not fun. What’s the point of getting all these cool characters I like if I’ve been playing the same content for the past year and a half? Beyond this, the UI/menus reeeally need to be sped up. Why do I need to watch every operator introduce themselves every time I recruit them? I know who they are. Why can’t I skip that? Why isn’t there a claim all button on daily and weekly rewards? The clue search in the base is so mind numbingly boring, buggy, and time consuming that I’ve completely stopped touching it. I’ve just left it for months and my sanity has thanked me. Please just work to make this game faster and fun. When designing the menu flow especially, I feel like you’re not asking yourselves if something is fun first.

Love this game but .... Ads?. First off I just gotta say I love the style and feel of this game, being a cooler tower defense game (akin to Defense Witches) you’ll be gatcha’ing your semi waifu’s and characters to defend your zone from baddies of every size and shape and with some pretty cool style, abilities and level grinding, other than that there’s the here and there you of rare operators and the story is.... uhh a good(?) story? I’ma just leave it at that other than that it’s pretty fun..... but, let’s talk for a second now the strange ads didn’t bring me to download this game, they are however garnering some attention for being vague and hyper-enthusiastic.... it’s like a commercial about nothing to be honest..... the few I’ve seen say nothing about game play or what the game actually is which I guess is fine but as a player of the game and thinking of other new players who’s probably first contact/impression of the game is this ad then.... idk it just feels hollow and gimmicky... just just my 2 cents.... I dunno I didn’t go to “ads / commercial collage how to get people interested in your game”

Probably one of the most f2p friendly gacha. I’ve tried out so many mobile games and honestly, this is the only one where I’ve invested so much of my time in. This game’s graphics are really nice (especially the story scenes), the music is amazing, and the characters are all pretty interesting. The rates for the rarest units is pretty generous, and the lower rarity units are all good too. The game’s pretty grinds, but it’s not too bad compared to other games, and after 1 year of being released (on the CN server), it hasn’t become greedy unlike some other games (looking at FEH). There are constant events, so there’s not much of a content drought (if there is it’s only a week). The only complaint I have is the translation. Some of the operators look very underwhelming because of word choice, and others look horrible when they’re decent. The other are the weird ads, but that’s a thing for almost all mobile games. Other than that, I’d really recommend this game!

My favorite gacha right now.. This game is amazingly good in its genre right now and in my opinion the gold standard for what tower defense games should be. I’ve been playing this since release and it just keeps getting better and better. The story is absolutely engaging and makes you actually enjoy both protagonists and antagonists and is not afraid to go dark into the story. If you’re into tower defense in general this is also fantastic since getting different operators spices up each zone and you can figure out different ways on completing each zone, leaving a lot of replay ability. Whenever they come out with special events they add new side story details for specific operators, new and already existing, and are very generous with giving out resources. The only gripe I have is the drop rates are pretty meh at most for operator recruitment , but the game itself gives you a bunch of chances to build your premium resources up for specific banners through story, events, and annihilation mode. This game IMO deserves to be called the best in its genre and I’m so glad they are animating the story also.

Yostar support. The game is pretty fun but yostar customer support is not very pleasant to deal with. They only send one email per day and for me it comes in around 3am to 5am. It’s been 4 days and my issue hasn’t really been addressed. Yostar support can’t seem to find my account that’s attached to my emails. They then said to make a new account and then search for it using the friends section of the game. This morning I awake to find an email from Yostar that says my account will stay banned if I don’t pay them $28 dollars for a pack that I didn’t receive. I bought the monthly headhunters pack and didn’t receive the contents due to a glitch or not very good internet connection so I bought it again. They billed me for both purchases. I looked up what to do and on their support page they said you can refund the order that didn’t work. So I did and got banned one month later. Now they are trying to make me pay $28 as an extortion fee or my account will stay banned. Yostar support is pretty bad.

Brilliant. I am a couple weeks into the game (lvl 50 with a few elite two characters) and I think the game is fantastic. It feels rewarding to play while also not feeling addictive or that I need to spend money to advance in the game due to a lack of pvp. The grind is respectable and I think the advent of auto deploy is what keeps me coming back. I enjoy the base building, special events, and material gathering which are all key aspects to the game. There’s also a great feeling when you beat a level that’s been holding you back for so long. I do wish you could speed up auto deploy to a 4X speed. Just for the grind to be faster since on some levels I’m just staring at my phone for it to finish or putting it down to do something else. A 4X speed seems easy to put into the game and a lot of players would appreciate it probably.

Somewhat more with P2W. The game is somewhat P2W. There are very little support towards F2P but has good game play and amazing graphics. Some can say its stunning. But the issues go towards the F2P players. Those who don't pay much cant get too much like me. The only issue is the slightest of chances to get somebody good. I'm stuck with 3 of however many 6 star units and more than 15 of those 5 stars that exist. Thats all I pull are 5 stars. When W came out as an obtainable operator, I never got her and with those summon prices, I knew it was inevitably impossible. The community is awesome just like the game, but the summon prices are too high and would just love them to be about half the price. It would make the summons more affordable and worth the time on limited units that ever get released or re-released. Thank you for seeing this and I must say myself, This game is beautiful but has lots of flaws in it. 8/10 in my book.

What.. Cleared my previous review with valid criticisms so lowered stars. Terribly paced, overly complicated story that is frequently tiresome. If English isn’t your first language, you may struggle and end up skipping. Recently, fanservice characters are featured more often. Less finesse involved in the integration of characters into stories so you end up not really understanding their relationships or interactions with each other unlike other games. I have quite a few operators I know absolutely nothing about. Skins are a bit lazy on the men and lower tier in general. Check the detail in the background compared to Nearl’s swimsuit skin and you’ll see what I mean. I really don’t like that practice takes more for challenge or even that it’s limited. Energy is too scare especially when you need to run a few chips supplies battle. Nothing much to do each day. I had good things to say about it like the ingenuity in battles; it being possible to complete the game with low level operators, many freebies and events, but I am tired and will return to this. Let’s see if it’s deleted again lol

Great game but 2 problems for me. 1. There’s no Chinese version. I don’t get this because you can literally change voice over language but not game language? I don’t expect them to fix this as it’s a problem since the game is out and nothing has been done. It makes it hard for me to connect with my Chinese friends and discuss about the game. 2. It’s no longer a problem for me now as I got used to it, but the layout and tabs get pretty overwhelming. The art and design are very good, but the designer missed to make all tabs pop out from the background. It’s also annoying when new events come up and you have to spend time getting used to the new layout and tabs. Can the developer team make it so the buttons look similar in every event but with minor changes?

Pls Prioritize Fixing found Bugs and Issues. To the arknights operations teamo or whoever is listening, I srsly Love ur game, from the art style, gameplay, and the characters/lore, so as many others in both the CN and Global servers. There shouldnt be any issue making sure the game runs smoother before adding more content that may ruin ur player bases’ fun and decision making. This is more apparent on those who spent money on units that later realize the units doesn’t do what was described in his/her posted information. Potentially wasting plenty of hard earned resources. Pls fix all translation errors asap and other bugs on all servers so everyone’s progression continues smoothly leading overall better gaming experience. Keep us behind global players behind content ofc while not compromising the game’s integrity. Regardless pls continue the hard work and I hope to see some quality of life changes especially for the people who invested into ur game. Thank u:3

Interesting but has questionable designs in places.. The actual TD gameplay is decent but the rest of the game suffers from weird decisions like practice mode being useless because it doesnt save your layouts, getting friends to help locks you out of auto play, the manual management of everyone in the base is tedious. The stamina regeneration is pretty slow too.

Good game so far. This game is pretty fun so far. It’s also extremely generous with the current rewards they give right now. The gameplay is satisfying and the graphics pretty nice. If you want to start now is a good time for the rewards.

Pretty solid. A gacha where every unit is viable. The gameplay is fun. The graphics are crisp. The storyline is decent enough. Well worth a try.

Arknights is the best! What I have been looking for in my life!. I love this game so much! Seiyuus are awesome, character designs are bthe best!! Game play is very amazing and events are fun to play! Sometimes abit challanging but its all about the fun!

I don’t even like tower defence. I genuinely dislike traditional defence, but this feels more like a strategic auto battler. I’m actually pretty bad at the game but there’s plenty of guides online. ☑️ no multiplayer, so no feeling under-equipped as a F2P player ☑️ fairly generous with in-game currencies and gacha ☑️ lower tier characters are useful in certain game modes, and still quite viable well into halfway through the main story stages ✖️ the translations of the visual novel scenes are very stiffly translated, but are still understandable at least ✖️ I get really bad FOMO, so I do still end up feeling obligated to spend money on the game ✖️ store prices are listed in USD in Australia, so you might think something is cheap, but is actually 1.5x the price

Great But…. It’s great. I love the game and it’s highly addictive! Great fun! However the auto deploy somehow makes mistakes when i’m grinding for supplies leading to mission failures. I don’t want to sit there for an hour watching over the auto deploy when I can get things done around the house. If there is a way to fix this that’d be great!

Masterpiece but x4 needed. the auto deploy which only allow x2 time speed is huge time consuming, especially for anhilation maps. please add another x4 time speed function. Sincere

Anime. There is an anime coming soon and because it’s based off this epic game it’s got to be good

Well designed and consumer friendly. The game is very generous with rewards and it seems like mtx are for convenience instead of necessity. The UI and graphics are epic and the actual gameplay is a bit more involved than other waifu gacha games. Overall it feels more like a masterfully crafted standalone game than a free to play title (even though it is)

Good. The core mechanics of the game is fun but, at later stages they start to become more like complicated puzzles than an actual tower defence. Also the game sells how you can still use relatively ‘bad’ operators and still be able to win hard maps which sounds cool, excepts it’s not fun doing it and takes way too many attempts. The gacha rates are pretty bad, so don’t expect to get much other else than your guarantees.

The only gacha game i've stayed with. With constant events, handouts, decent gacha rates and lots of new units being added to the game, you'll almost never run out of things to do.

Fun and creative. It really does have intriguing story scenes, unique characters, and good quality.

It doesnt open on iphone6s. Yeah downloaded it and waited for a day, i get bug that was apparently fixed months ago (game wont open-opening = instant close) 0/10 wont download again till its not a buggy mess

Holly game. The best tower defender anime game u can find ( the only TD anime game I have see so far ) glad that they have the gacha system and the plot is also breath-taking, can un-glu my eyes from this game for a second.

Refreshing. I can't believe I have not played this before... it's got ACTUAL strategy (not just dumping the best characters into random positions) and even the story is good. Battle is surprisingly fun. Rewards are pretty balanced. I don't get what everyone means with 'bad gacha rates'. The rates are literally the same as every rpg game ever. Another great thing: You don't actually need the most op characters to win all the rewards or anything. You can have the worst characters in the game and, if you deploy your tactics well, you can still win. If that's not f2p friendly idk what is.

10/10. Great tower defence like game, need multiple language selection please (Chinese) :) thank you

11/10 best gacha game ever. The game is super f2p friendly and all the levels are unique with millions of different ways to clear it and with over 130 characters to unlock, you will never be bored

needs to have a way to restart. This is an awesome game however it needs a way to restart if people want to

Small money make the game better. As you see When you have got a 6 star you will be wanting to make it Elite 2 soon as possible But the game’s six star rate is all right and depends on player Save your rolls for 10 rolls instead of single roll And if you want you can buy 20 dollar pack for 20 rolls The drop rate is much higher than genshin

Very Good. This game it’s very good for me but in iphone 6 it’s alwasy lag :’) but it’s ok because Iphone 6 it’s alwasy lag when we play game CODM, PUBG, Arknights, Azur Lane, Girls Frontline and also ML

Help. I love this game but there is a Glitch that’s keeps kicking me out of the tab Every time I finish my mission or in the base I playing on a apple iPad I do not know how to fix it can some one help me Please

Top tower defence gacha game. Im not a gacha fanatic but I play fair bit diverse games over the years, title big or small. If you are ok with tower defence gacha game, you are in for a treat. Pros: - High production value with voice, graphic, music and frequent events, on par with industry leaders - Many freebies and extremely f2p friendly, you can complete all contents using 3-4 star units which are free - 2% on 6 star (SSR), and you can easily get a 6 star every two months as f2p Cons - There is no PVP, no ladder board, no global or team chat, a single player game essentially - A clumsy auto play system basically stalling you from finishing the entire game too soon, there is still plenty of contents - You hate tower defence - Character design is less mature, target market is teens - Sanity (action point) is a major bottle neck, you spend your in-game currency on sanity and cosmetics mainly

Arknights. Reviews for a gacha game? Yeah, I’ll do one for Arknights just because how fun this game can be. The graphics and illustrations in this game is unreal! Definitely one of the best I’ve seen in these games. How about the game-play? Well, despite being a TD based game, the mechanics and skills involved within the game is actually more complex than games like BTD5, BTD6 and etc... It is really challenging in some stages within the game, and some of levels actually require a lot of practices in order to complete. If you want to experience it, just try it out. I’m really hoping for the upcoming contents.

Good tower defence game but a pitiful gotcha. This is a tower defence game, and a good one at that, it requires game knowledge and an understanding of your operator to succeed at the later levels, it has a story in it, but nothing more than what you can expect from a mobile game. New operators are added occasionally, with some events here and there. That’s all good but unfortunately the game is hindered by its gotcha mechanics and the lack of PVP. It’s not hard finish the available levels, and your end game content is essential just improving your operators. The gotcha drop rate here is as pitiful as it gets, you get a guaranteed 5 or 6 stars in your first 10 pulls, if you don’t get your desired 6 stars operator, your best option is to forget about it. Because your chances of reviving a 6 stars operator is 2% and even after that only a 50% chance to get it. Overall this is a decent game, it’s very well designed but it’s the pitiful gotcha rates, the lack of PVP, and the boring endgame contents are a major drawbacks.

Very nice. Minor flaws, overlooked by the addicting, immersive and fun gameplay. The plot is also very interesting and surprisingly well translated. The gacha system is also quite generous with pity rates. Overall, the game is very free to play, and a unique take on tower defence.

Gr8. A very good game, great characters designs as well as a good storyline. There are many Pity system operators every event which are like 1-2 a month. It’s a very fun game with many updated and events. It’s a very good game overall. Would recommend for people who love Gacha and tower defence games. 10/10

Bad rates. Not as bad as FGO but really cruddy rates, I can’t count how many times I’ve heard Kokodayo or see a Beagle, it makes my eyes bleed, while the system for the 5 star or greater for the first in every 10 pull is good, it’s still kinda cruddy, mostly dupes or useless 5 stars, it’s better to be a f2p than a p2w at this point, there’s no difference if you buy

10/10 Tower Defense Type Game. ⭕️No PVP so F2P and P2P friendly, advance at your own pace ❗️Originum becomes scarce later so save it if you want to use it on refreshing energy or buying skins (15~18 originum) ⭕️Great animation and character design ⭕️Floors are challenging but possible with lower star characters as long as planned well ⭕️Upgrading units are not RNG based ⭕️Cute Skins Sad to see people complaining about gacha rates; you can pass every floor currently released with no more than 3/4/5 stars as long as they’re built correctly and timed correctly (not sure after the update though). The 2% pull rate increases over time and a free system called recruit allows (a very low) possibility of pulling 6 stars and many 4/5 stars which provides decent progress. If you want a certain unit, to some degree you can see what comes next when online since global is still catching up to China server. So save up your large amount of red crystals you get weekly until your wanted unit comes back around. The game has great art, amazing skins, great dorm designs, is easy to understand but challenging to pass at times (which makes it very addictive) The game can be played from start to finish F2P, but spending definitely seems worth with the amount of effort put into the game.

Lots of problems with in app purchases. Every time you buy something it’s a dice roll as to whether the items will actually come through to your account. The customer support is non-responsive and takes a week before they reply. All the while your card is already charged for the purchase. Stay away.

Good game but.... The new version crashes a lot, even after reinstalling the game.

I love this game. Been playing since it came out in January 2020! The character design is cool, levelling system is great, gameplay is really fun, the chibis are cute, I’ve spent a lot on this game lol some regrets but my friend has a f2p acc and it’s defs possible to get lots of good characters. This game is generous during half year anniversaries and full year ones, releasing limited characters as well as free 10 pull on the banner and log in bonuses! Will be one of my favourites for a long time!

Awesome. I don’t write reviews often but this game is absolutely fantastic. The UI interface design is very clean and the function in the base immerse you deeper into the game. So far rng and reward is very generous. Hope it get better day by day :)

Decent TD/gacha, loot odds are likely lower than stated. TD mechanics and abilities are diverse and work out well, art is great. However, odds of getting various operator rarities are probably incorrectly stated- games states 3 stars chance is 40%, 4 stars is 50%, 5 stars is 8% and 6 stars 2%; 3 star chance is probably closer to 50-60% and everything else’s odds are quite a bit lower. Also, there seems to be an added mechanic where you are more likely to get duplicates of existing operators than new operators during headhunts (happens even when certain operator drop rates are increased). Other than that, gameplay is fun but becomes more of a grind with time and is more about collecting characters and upgrading at the end. Overall good experience- just know that drop rates seem to be getting silently nerfed as this game moves out of initial launch phase

God tier underrated game. Wayyyy more fun and enjoyable than you could expect! I wasn’t expecting much at first glance but there really is so much depth and care taken in the making of this game and its one of the most beginner friendly, F2P friendly gacha ever. They are extremely generous with rewards and very balanced, all units are useful and there isn’t one particular unit you MUST have. Gameplay is extremely satisfying, not tedious, and the WORLDBUILDING IS TOP NOTCH. If you’re a story enthusiast, there is so much lore and it is obvious much care was taken even in the little details to build their world and characters. All the characters have unique personalities, they are written well and despite appearances none of them are shallow. The art direction is distinctive and well done. Gameplay wise, you’re not forced to attempt everything and can play casually at your own pace without fear of missing anything, which is rare for gacha games and extremely refreshing. But most importantly, THE MUSIC BANGS!!! Everything they do just shows how much they love their players. They always frequently give back to the community and treat players well. The fanbase is also great. Really underrated game.

A little problem. The game is amazing, however with the latest update(as of this review). I cannot open the game as it crashes immediately.

Very enjoyable tower defence game. Although the game is a tower defence style battle system, it is a much larger and interesting game than others. It has an interesting story that isn’t cheesy, lots of characters to collect but to organise and sort for the maps. There’s a lot to do as well like building a base, improving your trust with characters and assigning characters to areas in your base. Highly recommended!

Bug login?. Got a 6 star, left the game to do something else. I come back to login in and it says ‘Login Data Expired’? The account wasn’t backed up so I guess that is my fault, but seriously? I lost a 6 star because of some in game bug...

Claim all daily button. Please add a claim all daily button instead of individually claiming each thank you.

Just another average gacha game. It's a fine game, but I'm not sure what the hope is about. In addition, it just started, but it already seems to have most of the problems from other games: pretty bad pull rates, crazy expensive pulling resource, story that exists just to be there.

No pressure to gacha. Idk why honestly but it feels really chill, even if i don’t get the limited character i don’t feel much fomo or anything, the rates are really generous with six stars! It honestly really allows for the story and the gameplay to shine since i’m not so hellbent on obtaining currency all the time and I’m glad for it since the writing is absolutely insane. All the characters are taken seriously and are well fleshed out, even the side ones you know are never going to be playable.

The best tower game. This game is by far my favourite game, spent 3 hours playing and my first thoughts were how good the story was and how well made the characters and the character line was. If your looking for a good game I’d reckon you play this

Fun gameplay, poor everything else.. A unique and fun take on tower defence. Unfortunately, they’ve decided to go with one of the worse stamina systems. Don’t expect to be playing for than 30mins per day without spending money.

The best. Easily the best mobile gacha game in terms of gameplay, visuals, music , story (is too long but decent). So many characters to fall in love with, both personality and looks. Regular events 6 months after the CN server allows Doctors to plan their savings/spendings well in advance. Developers are actual human beings too, well liked by players. The one game I always come back to even if I take short breaks.

Tower defence FGO. I wrote a long *** review but the App Store crashed before I finished. So here’s the cliff notes. - I understand that Arknights is developed by former Girls: Frontline developers - UI feels fumbly and crowded, like GFL. - Gameplay is enjoyable in story maps but frustrating at times. - Premium currency is scarce to the point its FGO tier and the gacha has the rates to match. - Art is amazing. - Story is interesting and leaves me intrigued. - Operators level up not through use, but through materials and LMD. Some of which is ground on certain maps others on certain days. Which feels horribly unsatisfying. Having come over from Azur Lane, which is also published by Yostar, and is rather generous and a very enjoyable experience. It is extremely disappointing to see another game published by Yostar with a completely different idea of how a gacha game should operate.

Why are the other reviews so low? (One review). Ok, I get that it is difficult to get a six pull sometimes, but this GAME HAS STUNNING GRAPHICS, Killer characters, wicked events and is a huge competition when you are playing with friends. I recommend this game if you enjoy strategy, Waifu’s and husbando’s (Lol) and a game that will capture you for a while. (And make you write a review at 5:30AM in the morning)

I can’t play this game.. Just a normal day when I gonna play this game but then when I open the game it force me to exit the game I try delete and download again but it doesn’t work I don’t know what to do now plz fixes this bug plz yostar

F2P friendly! Waifus and husbandos <3. Even though I’m not F2P, it’s safe to say this game is extremely F2P friendly :)! You can easily obtain 5 star units (6 star being the highest rarity) and recruit units. Majority of the game content is clearable with only 5 stars. Although it does become much more difficult clearing stages with only 5 stars or below, it’s still doable and it’s unlikely that you won’t get OP units like “sliverash”. **ps, I don’t have him yet. Angelina stop getting in my way...**

Quality. This game shows quality and a relatively Well thought out game play system and progression, in comparison to many games in a similar 10draw character collection genre, the story is also not bad, the themes are innovative in design, this game also does not depend on fan service to attract players as the character illustrations are not highly sexualized, the modesty is a welcome change.

Could have some improvement. What I am trying to say is the waiting time is slow and I think you can improve it but overall, the game is good and I like the battles and the characters but if you improve the game so the waiting time isn’t that slow I think I would love the game!

Amazing. I blew money on the waifu ch’en and she didn’t come home. This is still a a five star, that’s how good it is. 5/5 would pull for ch’en again.

Game is very well done. Gacha is generous and fair, gameplay is challenging, rewarding and extremely fun, and the time commitment is only as much as you want it to be.

Make a change username feature. The game is awesome I just would like to change my username which you can’t do if so would you please try to add this feature

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY. This stupid anime tower defence ripoff is not only stupid and pointless but will PERMANENTLY DESTROY your device. I once downloaded this Possible Trojan onto my device. I had to delete most of my apps! Just think about it! Childhoods of time worthy games destroyed and permanently exiled for 1 stupid game from Uyghur-Genocide Commie Crap Food land! This is true and I am not lying. So let this be a warning to all of you. If you see an Anime game that was made in China DO NOT BUY IT! It is a rip-off of a way better game that isn’t either a Trojan or takes forever to Load!

One of the best strategy games out there.. Using low rarity and low level operators, there is still possibility to get pass hard levels, that is if you are a strategy master. Also you can get 5 stars (even 6 stars, but very rare) operators for free if you know how to use recruitment.

Amazing. The only gacha game that’s consistently had new interesting characters, stories, events and gameplay. I’ve played a lot of gacha games, and this is the only one I still play daily till this day. By far the best one on the market right now. Also the art is gorgeous. How do you guys do it, tell me your secrets o_o

Monkeys?. This game is actually about Noah’s Ark. You play as Noah and defend the boat from Monkeys. 10/10 would kill a monkey again

Love this game!. I love this game! I think it’s amazing. One thing that I am going to request is that you please look into rerunning the Rainbow 6 Collaboration! PLEASE! Thankyou!

Best Gatcha Game!!. Great Operator Character like Blaze and Blacknight! Hope that the Arknights Crossover with Capcom would be Resident Evil!!!

very fun. each stage is different so you never get tired and playing it for the first time was so fun

Best gacha tower def. Best gacha tower defense I’ve ever played !

I LOVE IT. I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME I LOVE THIS GAME (dont anyone tell me to chillax)

Perfect tower defence.. I don’t know why the game is listed under “card” in the store tho.

The transactions can have errors sometimes. I made an in-game transaction and which was shown to charge my card’s balance but then I never received the in-game merchandise that I spent my money on purchasing, something else is the customer service email blocked every email I send them and which makes it impossible to contact customer support and which on some circumstances this makes them unable to be contacted for refunds or fixing unprocessed transactions. Gameplay is excellent but the purchases and in game transactions can be troublesome please fix this issue right now yo-star.

I love it and.... I love it it’s fun and my is rafael and the character your playing as is a dr Rafael

One of the best of its kind. Surprisingly fun gameplay with challenge modes and contingency contract. You can tell the visual / audio art is a priority from the soundtracks and polished menu UI in this game. The lore in this game is also impressive!

Boring gameplay. Boring gameplay, no skill animation at all, wasted all those nice looking character design

A very strategic game. A very strategic game and it becomes really hard but the challenge and the strategy that keeps me interested. I can play this game for hours! You need resources to progress in the game though otherwise you will have to wait for a long time to advance. So it is not a F2P game. It could but not really. It is nice that they dont constantly remind you to buy things unlike other games that constantly give you pop ups to buy. One issue I find is the slow energy (sanity they call it in the game) takes a long time to replenish and to get some free energy (sanity) is almost to nothing. We need more SANITY PLEASE! Graphics is amazing and gameplay (again) is great! 5 star even it is a P2W game.

It’s the best gacha I’ve played. Pros: +Best UI hands down: Organized, elegant, efficient +Incredibly sophisticated combat and upgrade mechanics, but a very smooth learning curve with abundant wiki and community support +One of the fairest gacha system, yes 6 stars are in general more powerful, but you’re not required to get dupes (small stat boost only) and they absolutely obtainable by f2p just by doing dailies +Incredible lineup of voice actors/actresses, on par or better than Genshin +Deep story, with lots of sidestory quests Cons: -Characters aren’t exactly 100% human (horns, furries) so that might be offputting to some players -no flashy animations / ultimates from operators -it’s td, a niche genre

Awesome game. It a fun game cause all the characters have animal Ike appearance a

Review!. It is an amazing game and I constantly see arknight ads, all I want to know is please tell me there is an anime of this or an anime coming soon of this, I want more of this! I can't say anyone will see this but I can hope so.

Add auto-clear system. I’ve been playing this game since late 2019, everything about the game is great, the art, the game play, the lore, events and etc, I just wish there was an auto-clear system where you can get resources faster without waiting for the whole process of sitting through the level again, for example let players choose how many times they want to clear the level for and how much sanity it would cost them, this will make grinding much faster and the game much more enjoyable, because waiting for a 3 minute long level to play out while you wait just to not get any of the resources you want is not only frustrating but draining. In my opinion auto-clear will make not only me but a lot of players happy as well. Thank you if you ever read this or add this feature to the game.

Give Tower Defense a Try. I’ve been playing various types of mobile games for many years and I never found a tower defense game that I could play for more than an hour...until now! I was skeptical at first about Arknights as I wasn’t into TD games, but the artwork and previews from various Youtubers made me want to give it a try. I’m so glad that I did. This is one of the most fun mobile games that I have ever played. I would describe it as as much a puzzle game as a TD game. The maps provide interesting challenges and it’s your approach that matters more than the power of individual units. Things that I love about Arknights are: 1) Interesting maps and play mechanics. 2) Beautiful artwork. 3) Excellent unit balance. Because of point #3, this game is one of the most FTP friendly games that I have seen. Because of point #2, you may well find yourself wanting to spend some $$$ to collect certain units. ;-) TLDR; Give Arknights a try and you won’t be disappointed!

Can’t download. Gets close and then jumps back 20-30% and never finishes downloading.

1. C’est un très bon jeu cependant pourquoi il n’y a pas de français?!!!

Very nice for now but needs more contents and/or mechanics. It becomes boring real fast if you need cash and the cash mission is unavailable then you pretty much have to wait. it needs more game mechanics i have all those nice units but they don’t really have a purpose. Price should be shown in the currency of the appstore i use .

ideal gacha game. - f2p friendly - satisfying gacha - character art is very good - gives a fair amount of currency - you don’t need the best units to succeed (although they do make it much easier) all in all, this game has everything i look for in a gacha game and i highly recommend

Wdum just download it. Been playing this game since the beginning. You can find entertaining by either free to play or pay to win. Amazing art work and reeeeaally great music, you might not find interesting just looking at the main to play this game but if you just try a few stages you’ll definitely find it’s fun. Events are coming up every months and YOU DONT NEED TO STICK WITH SOME PATHETIC CHARACTERS LIKE A BOSS KILLER. I mean there are but different characters still can do the same job. Btw it do take some space (not big as Genshin tho) so I do recommend play it on pc or high quality phones. Best gacha ever.

If there is only one gacha game to play, it is this one.. The story and world is good. The gameplay is good. The characters are good. The creators are passionate. Play it.

Amazing game. Returning to the game after 2 years, there r so many new events to do. Its not a p2w game and just the art work alone makes u want to pay to support the devs. Superb quality

This is great. I actually like this game and it’s rlly fun to play it when I was bored :)

Lack of QOL. No auto-repeat, no dialogue skip in single-summons and recruitment and the translation is a bit wonky. A shame because I loved the TD gameplay and operators’ art

Great TD style game. Love the TD play style which requires good strategy. Story is very deep and gacha mechanics are not too problematic, you can easily do all content without spending a dime. Overall one of the best games out there

Bloons TD but costs $100s minimum.. Want a good character? Too bad, the devs made sure to put an expensive gambling wall to make sure you don’t get that character that is “rate up”. This is a casino that takes advantage of powercreep and low rates. It’s a deceiving practice that shouldn’t be tolerated in games. This is a casino and it should be treated as such.

Really good. I like Mercenary W the best

An amazing interface. While I haven’t played much of the actual game, whoever did the GUI for this game is a legend. All the tabs look clean and appealing to look at, much like Persona 5s menu and hud. The GUI alone puts this at 4 stars

I love it. This game requires a lot of skill and strategy and I love it!! I’m also a big fan of your previous games like girls frontline and azurlane but this game is mind blowing!!! Looking forward for new updates!!

One of my favourites. This has got to be one of my favourite games to play, the story is great, they’re constantly working on new content with new operators, and introducing some new games modes. The only problem I might have would be some of the limited events like summoning and game modes, their are some game modes I wish were permanent like the coop with two levels for each player to defend. Aside from that this game is worthwhile in my opinion. And one more thing would be adding some sort of arena mode so that it feels like the game is finale at times

Ad. This is nothing like the ads I see

A Gacha game with unique fun gameplay.. Gacha using TD elements as its core gameplay. Stages are pretty challenging and fun. Gacha rates are decent. And it’s not a huge time commitment either.

awesome!. i've been playing arknights for about a year now, and it's probably the best gacha game i've ever played! the character designs, story, gameplay—it's all unique! i also appreciate how generous arknights is with their events and such. while the gameplay did seem dull at first, as they began to introduce new mechanics one at a time i found myself really enjoying arknights. thanks for the great game!!

One of the best gacha game. Very pog

Fully Realized Game. Close beta tested the game, top notch experience. The game does not let you make mistakes, treats you like a adult by beating you constantly. Requires thought when doing missions and using resources. Not pay to win, mostly runs off your brain power.

Feedback on deaf ears. Arknights is split released with a 6 month delay from the actual china server. This results in negative hype and 2nd hand experience when features arrive to global. 1) We will hear about exciting news and events but wait 6 months to enjoy it which will be dull by then 2) Critical gameplay feedback will not reach chinese devs and your feedback is simply ignored 3) Translated tutorials and story are bottom barrel. Literally nobody wants to read their guides or story and they never revise it. Ak sales are dropping rapidly yet they think endfield will solve that problem. They’re bound for doom if they keep this up.

Actually f2p. I have played many gacha games, more than I care to admit. This is the only one you need. Great characters, skins, and actually f2p friendly. You can do all stages with 3-4 stars - free units you are given. Fun events too, highly recommend

Top Tier TD Game. This game is perfect for you if you prefer games where you’ve got to be fully engaged or if you enjoy being challenged. The level designing by the developers is fantastic. All the stages are unique and you can tell they put quite a bit of thought into them so the core gameplay never gets old. New enemies with different mechanics and map hazards are introduced as you progress further into the game which adds another element of challenge. Although the difficulty does spike up later in the game, it is never unfair. You can still use 3* and 4* operators to clear the all the current stages so you never feel pressured to spend premium currency on new operators. One more thing that I want to add is that I love the art direction in this game. While other games in this industry like to put out unrealistically revealing clothes in order to sell new characters, Arknights strays away from this formula. They are still are able to make characters look amazing with the aesthetic that is appropriate for the dystopian world type setting. I definitely recommend this game if any of what I said piqued your interest.

Gacha Game done right. This game is honestly one of the best games ever made. While some people might be unhappy about the difficulty, most of the game can be cleared perfectly even if you only use 3 star characters and one 6 star support from a friend, as long as you have a brain. Of course, there will be those who hate playing anything they can’t clear instantly so I ask of those who sees any of those negative reviews to try it out for yourself first and decide if you like the game or not. The arknights community will always be open for those who are not toxic.

I’m still loving this game , but the characters are missing something. Just dropped by to say hello . And to ask if tomimi the indestructible is going to be released sone . Ok have a wonderful day

Best Gatcha game out there. Waifu

TD. Need more tower defense games like this frfr

Download. The game never got past the downloads the it underwent i wasted 2 hours of my god damm life just for it to say that the download failed everytime i tap retry it bring me back a gigabyte or 2 never even played it i was connected to the internet fix this issue right away

Plays great. The only thing getting in the way of my fun is how they’ve deliberately designed everything to confuse you. There are at least six different currencies you need to farm for various shops and tasks like leveling up units. And the levels are only numbered in the MOST abstract sense of the word. I needed an item that dropped on 2-2 but from 2-1 I was 3 stages away. I think it’s odd because some of these things are deliberate screw ups, like to make it part of the “Rhodes Island” aesthetic but it’s just a nuisance and it subtracts from what is an otherwise fantastic game with dynamic action. You’ve made a game that feels really great when you manage to beat a level and unlock auto-deploy. Not many games can say that. So please feel motivated to clean up this interface a bit and I’ll change the 4 stars to 5.

Chinese here! And this is an awesome game!. I’m a Chinese 我是中国人,and China is right where Arknights comes from. I changed the region to America just to recommend this game and I promise the stories after Chapter 4 is gonna be more fascinating! Enjoy the game! I have been playing this since it came out in China! And I just couldn’t stop it! Even if you don’t put money in it, you can still have a bunch of powerful squad. This game needs challenging and your brain to think about the strategy, every operator has his or her strong power. Don’t underestimate the 3 stars and the 4 stars. It’s really fun when you have the 3 stars’ squad beating up the high difficulty checkpoint. Anyway, I’m just here to say you wouldn’t regret playing this, just enjoy the game!

Fabulous Game but has one small problem. I’ve only started to play this game for a few weeks and I’ve loved it so far. There seems to be one problem with it. Every time I do a 9 hour open recruitment with either the Defender, Defense, and Melee tags or a combination of the three I always seem to get Beagle no matter what. It would be nice if the time could increase up to 10 hours and have it be 4, 5, and maybe even a chance for 6 star. I know that you are guaranteed a 6 star with the Top Operator Tag but it would be nice if players could try to get them with a 10 hour recruitment along with the other 4-5 star operators

Enjoying the game, just a small flaw.... As a person who normally plays on PC and isn’t very committed to playing mobile games I can say this: This is the only mobile game I have not quit after a few days of playing. I enjoy the gameplay, missions, characters, and story. The game is easy to learn and has lots of content for you at the start. But later on the missions cost too much sanity (sanity = energy) with a low sanity limit and you don’t regen it fast. But overall the gameplay is solid, with minor flaws in sanity cap/regen. Overall I can’t force you to play but I can recommend trying this game with a rating of 10/10.

Suggestion. I absolutely love the game and the music even more. I feel like the game should have a tab somewhere where we can listen to music within the game.I know there could be some nuances, for example each stage has their own theme but that could be overcome with a setting to enable or disable stage themes and replace it with music of our choosing. It would be awesome to load the game or stage listening to past CC songs or operator themes. I know a lot of people love Arknights music and would probably like this idea as well. After all you're a music company that happens to make games 😉

I like it. It plays like a tower defense game but it does it better. Interesting storyline with potential and each character has their own lore if you're into that kind of thing. The rates are good, personally Ive had worse. The art style is nice, very similar to azur lane. The leveling is a bit slow unless you're a hardcore player and the characters can only be leveled by applying an item on them (its like an “xp card” you gain by playing levels) Theres a pretty long and detailed tutorial and training levels so be ready for that. These arent complaints, more like a preview of what to expect for those interested. If I had complaints then it'd be the absence of a guild/clan system since I think the social aspect in a game, specially a gacha, is important. Since the game is very new to global I do hope its an idea that can be implemented in the future. And kind of weird but, I can't write “Have a great day” as my profile message cause apparently the system thinks its a bad word or something. Id appreciate a fix. Overall, my expectations were exceeded and the game has been highly entertaining... for now ;)

A game the surpasses all expectations.. At first when I got this game, I had little to no expectations of it due to some of the very poor advertising that they have. Despite this I tried the game out and was amazed by both story telling and gameplay. The gacha elements are also pretty generous and being a player who simply got bored of other games like FFBE, this was very nice. Give this game a try and stick with it. And while you’re at it, listen to some of the music that this game has released. You’ll be surprised on how good they are.

Love it!. This game is exactly what I’ve been looking for. An amazing story, gorgeous art, and yes awesome music. I’ve been playing for a few years now and I enjoy it as much as I did when I first started. There is always a challenge for you to uptake which makes the game fun. Anytime I would feel a little stressed or maybe need a pick me up, Arknights was there. While it is a gacha game, it is a doable gacha game. You don’t need to spend crazy amounts to get characters and even if you happen to miss one they always have re-runs. So far, the gacha system has been pretty good and I think the drop rates are fair. Overall, great chill game and highly recommend!

Thanks you. First off I would like to thank you so much for bringing this game global and I think this is the best gacha I played in years. The rate in this game aren’t too bad and for those that are complaining you probably never played other gacha because this game has pretty high rate and if you fail to summon a 6 star within 50 Summon you will get a rate up for the during your next pulling for 6 star. You don’t have to pay for game but I do because the deal are just too good to pass. I see myself playing this game for years to come and I will continued to support this game

Really fun but kind of BS. Overall, really fun game. When you get your strategy right the game is rewarding. BUT there are some game mechanics that throws the balance straight out the window in favor of the AI. Like there are enemies that DESTROY your characters (level 30 characters was recommend, I fielded level 40s while keeping a good lineup and still....destroyed). In order to beat these enemies you need to field casters which, fair enough fine, but casters cost too much to field and they get targeted immediately which because of limited places to put your characters and 15 enemies coming when you can only block one at a time while hitting another, makes the games balance totally unfair. You can only field like 6 characters at a time while the game can throw like 20 characters at you. Fix the balance and it’ll be a great game.

Dont listen to OA Member.. As much as I hate to say it, events arent exactly supposed to be finished. You really only finish them if youre willing to read the story within. That is, if you have leveled your characters enough. This game takes patience, and patience is key to being able to complete the game and its events. Do not listen to any “anti f2p” or “new player unfriendly”. You are simply supposed to enjoy the game slowly but surely, not in a rushed manner like I did which resulted in multiple deletions and redownloads out of boredom.

The Best and Fairest Gacha I’ve Played. I don’t mean to make the title sound like a botted review, but Arknights really does stand out in the fact that it’s one of the most fair gacha games in the industry. Earning top operators is a normal occurrence when not even spending money. Furthermore, the gameplay itself is a very nice tower defense game, so if you like tower defense then you’ll enjoy Arknights. There’s a big community online that have a lot of good resources as well, helping you get through the game. I took a large chunk of time off after first playing it around launch, and when I came back I wasn’t overloaded by new features, and with just a few banners I got back into having a great set of operators.

Arknights global accessibility. Love this game a lot and would keep playing,Fun mechanics and amazing characters and character designs,my main issue or only issue is the fact that since I live in South Africa I am unable to make inapp purchases so I hope that YoStar come up with a remedy like maybe making it possible for us to make purchases on our accounts for any and every paying option on ios for those who aren’t in the regions the game is on but want to support the game and pay for stuff on their accounts, other games make it possible, even if it is something as simple as releasing the app in more regions anything will help,I hope they act on this

Great TD/RPG combo. Not sure why i downloaded it, i think because it was new and i liked the art. Played the game a whole month and a half before i bought anything and i already had units that were considered great. The game is pretty friendly with currency and there are units i use that arent 6* that do the job. You dont have to have the best of the best to pass and beat harder content trust me, ive done it. They do help *disclaimer* this game has awesome events and sick music. The characters are getting deeper and the story is good. The game IS a grind...but thats any rpg.

Good at first (empty late game). It’s another gacha with abysmal odds of getting who you want. Spent more than I should trying to get a 6 star character. So I’m deleting this app. I was lvl 75 and played since global launch. Maybe I’ll come back when I see improvements to the game. Like actual ways to obtain more premium/gacha currency after finishing all the levels besides annihilation. TLDR : only play if your willing to pay for good characters. For devs: it would be nice if there were a few more ways to earn premium currency to allow f2p players to feel invested in the game. (Up to 4 stars for my rating)

Just about the Best!. This game is extremely enjoyable yet difficult. Recommending it to the tactical gaming crowed! So many ways to play and so many ways to play with time in the game. Only one issue however I hope is fixed, and it’s not a glitch. “Sanity” which is the stamina of the game that lets you enter battle, seems highly unbalanced. While the max sanity is near almost every other games max, the sanity cost to enter levels is about triple the norm I would say. So sanity is easily burned up and slow to return, which I hope that gets a rebalance soon.

Lacks longevity. The game is a great F2P title where you can whale but isn’t necessary. The game is a really good side game to play. However, if you’re looking for a game to play more than 15 minutes a day look elsewhere. Starting out there’s plenty to see and do, but this game has virtually no end game. I’ve played since launch and have completely run out of things to do other than level characters. It really gears itself toward new players and updates are so infrequent that end game people tend to fall off. The global servers are behind their CN counterparts, yet we still have to live with the same lack of content as they did. The game is good and fun, I just wish a better company was running it.

Good game but dialogue takes too much time. No complaints about gameplay and navigation but when playing, the dialogue text speed is too slow so it’s nice to tap and have the dialogue all appear but sometime it just skips all the dialogue when you tap and moves on to the next. This is a very annoying to me since I read the dialogue fast and I’m missing important information during the game that the game is trying to tell me. Pls fix the dialogue text box functionality Update: game is really implementing to pay to win. Or unless you want to be PATIENT and GRIND HARD everyday it can be free to play. And the creators need to stop fantasizing about an all female army 🙄add some males there’s only like 2.

Fun game (currently there is a crashing bug). The game is very enjoyable and the units have a lot of cool abilities to help in your missions. This game does use an energy system so there will be times were you will have to wait for it to refill. If you like tower defense games you will most likely enjoy this game. As a warning the app currently has a bug where it will randomly close. If you have your information you can always play on an emulator until it is fixed so that you can complete your daily missions and cap out your Sanity (energy).

Fun but too hard. Yes I know this is supposed to be hard, but newer players don’t get to do new events and stuff until they reach a certain level. Then it goes down from there. Everything takes hours and hours of frustration and energy just to get one operator to where you want. Now I’m a free-to-play player and I don’t really feel like spending money. So at this rate playing the game gets too hard and I cannot even go anywhere in the game without the most powerful operators otherwise I’ll die mid-level. Game is fun but it’s too difficult, especially those who aren’t experienced.

Best Gacha Game. I originally started Arknights as a boredom buster during quarantine. I’d heard good things so I thought I’d give it a shot. Let me just say, believe the hype. This game has (in my opinion) the most generous gacha system of any gacha game I’ve ever played, some of the most beautiful character designs I’ve ever seen, and it’s fully voiced by some really famous anime voice actors. This game sparked my love for tower defense games but it’s so much more complex than that. Even with guides I still had to rack my brain and form my own strategies to beat some levels and it’s so satisfying when you finally beat them. I love this game and I think that if you are even remotely interested, you should give it a try.

Friendliest F2P collector game I have ever played. So honestly, you can beat the entire game as it stands right now with only 3-4* characters. The people who tell you that you can’t are simply not strategizing how to clear the map. I love the game for its critical thing capability for each map (especially 4-10 challenge mode) but I also love how the devs do their best in keeping us up with new content. The art is lovely, the animations are basic but it works, and the base mechanic is pretty fun, especially decorating the dorms. I am F2P (minus the 99 cents pack) and I have already beaten the game so can’t wait for more.

Time Travel. When I was much younger, and clinically depressed, I met a family of time travelers, father and son, who told me about this game, name and all. Being depressed the memory, faces, and majority of details are all foggy... but they were good people and they’ve lead me to a good game. To clarify they told me they were not time travelers, but reiterated that might be something a time traveler would say, and it peaked my curiosity so much this game and that 3 second conversation has been in the back of my mind since. Completely unrelated but I do enjoy the game quite a lot. It’s fun to relax with, sound and all.

Actually solid. When I saw the ads I was like eww cringe and skipped this and months later got my new phone and saw this game so I decided why not and got the game played it and loved it the reunion and milita make the story interesting because it’s a rival triangle and my only thing I want is a make your own operator like other games have like the hommoculus and etc so please can that come that’s at game for me is a 5/5 perfect to play when out or bored and the rates aren’t trash when summoning does that’s a plus we just more outfits and a custom operator next update

Give it a chance at least once. This game is alright. It has good combat and great artwork, but the problem is the gacha system. Sure they give you a 6* operator at the start, but it’s just really hard to get one with only a 2% chance and the pity rate only increases after every 50 pulls by 2%. You can do a lot of the content with lower rarity or free operators with enough luck or leveling up, but it’s much different from having the waifu you want or making the game easier by having a better operator. Overall I’d say to give this game a try at least once to see how good your luck is, but if you have bad luck like me then continuing to play the game just will make you depressed.

Great tower defense game!. First of all, this game is very fun is it requires lots of thinking and strategy to play and get through levels. People tend to think that 6 star operators are the best, but I can tell you that it is not true at all in this game. For example, Coura, who is a 4 star defender, has defending powers that some 5 star operators can’t compare to. The balance in this game is very well made. Although the main storyline is very dark, the event storylines can be very up-lifting and inspiring. Also, some people say that iOS has a major problem with Arknights, but I am using iOS and don’t have a single problem opening and playing this game. Overall I think that this is a great game to spend your time on and love.

Great Tactical Game to play, but.... I have a lot of fun playing this game, it’s challenging yet fun at the same time. The character designs are really cute and cool to look at and notice a lot of detail went into them that other mobile games don’t do. The only issue I have now is the current event, Heart of Surging Flame: Obsidian Festival. The farming for the capsule machine is insane because there doesn’t seem to be enough days in order to get everything. Maybe if it’s possible in future events like this one, can the cost to do a pull for the capsule machine go down. I think it might be more fun if there was less worry on making sure you have everything.

Good f2p. The game basically an over glorified tower defense game with anime, with the operators bring your towers each with unique abilities and changing stats depending on the ratites. The game also loot boxes that make you randomly roll for new and rarer operators which is pretty forgiving but still the most annoying part to me since it’s basically gambling. Maps are fun and pretty challenging late game and overall it’s a good tower defense game to just play in your free time. Story is also told through scenes after or before a level and it’s a lot of reading and can get pretty long at times so I skip it sometimes.

Need swap on stages already beaten.. The most annoying part about this game is you need to spend hours per week to auto battle stages you already beat for resources, so you end up not having time to play the new content. My gaming time is limited per week, so spending hours to have the game up to auto battle for resources level I already beat is a turn down. Need a swap option. Edited update: Glad they put in the swap for the most time consuming annihilation mission grind. That make this game so much more playable. Up the star from 1 to 4. That last star for when they make it all stages.

This game is Gacha perfection~. So hear me out. Normally, Gacha games typically aren’t challenging if you whale and spend thousands of dollars. This game is completely different. You could have all the best units in the game just to find out that the stage you’re on would be much easier if you used a team of 3 or 4 star operators. Being F2P in this game is a huge treat btw, since this game does not throw ads or packs in your face. Not only that, the sprite work is some of the best I’ve seen. Did I mention there’s literally no paywall in this game? I know I keep harping on the monetization part of this game, but most mobile games are toxic in that regard. This game is a breath of fresh air that deserves so much more attention.

Good game but..... This game is a unique stand on the tower defense genre but it lacks to give you the player enough high lvl operators(units) and the cost of getting these operators is ridiculous so you have to pay money to get to a point we’re the game is easily playable and there’s little to no online interaction and the boss fights are incredibly hard if your f2p and the stages are busted some you steam roll others they spam hard to kill units after all these negatives I still have gave this a 5 star why well for starters the story is amazing a fair and balanced lvling system never have I not been able to upgrade my units and there’s no garbage units on top of that it is just a well laid out game

Great game, but stamina is limited. This game was basically made for me. It has all the things I enjoy in a tower defense game. I really want to give this game five stars, but I can’t because of the insanely slow sanity (this game’s stamina) recharge time. It is one sanity every six minutes (ten per hour). It’s hard to get much done when the levels you need to grind cost 10 to 25 sanity per play. If the recharge time was one sanity per three or even two minutes (20 or 30 per hour). I could actually get more things done. This isn’t a huge issue, and you should still give this game a chance but I would like for this game to receive an update for sanity to recharge faster.

One of my favorite mobile games.. Arknights just really covers everything. The interface is one of the best, the characters are cute, the game is pretty F2P friendly. You don’t need the fancy 6 ⭐️ units to clear the game. Though the storyline has its good moments, it was pretty bland but the recent event’s story was pretty good. Also, some grammar and coding mistakes can be found, but it is a new game so expect some small mistakes. Overall, Arknights is a game that you don’t need to spend any money on to have fun. You can still participate in the gacha even if you don’t spend money.

It’s a charm. I’m writing this after almost 3 years of playing this game. Arknights is a fun and beautiful take on tower defense game. Give it a try to see if it’s a good fit for you. Because different people will look for different things in a game. For me, chill game but still have a decent amount of challenge like this is perfect. I have tried couple of gacha games, but Arknights is still my main. Lovely characters designs, well designed map, good stories,…Also, Yostar has good customer service. I almost lost my account once (due to me being naive and gave my account to the wrong hand), the CS was fast to respond my email and helped me to get my account back. Anw, Happy 3rd Anniversary Arknights global!

Best Gacha Game. I can say that this is the best Gacha game I have ever played. Unlike other gacha where it is mostly Pay2win this is actually possible to play without even paying a single cent. The best part is that the gameplay is fun and challenging, it require strategy and various unit composition in order to complete the later level. Also the best part is that the more rarer the card is the more resource it require to level them up but they are slightly stronger than lower rarity character which I think is a great thing. This mean that not all legendary are good and they require a lot of investment in order for them to become as good as a simple 1 star character.

Neat idea, greedy company. Company is the same one to make girls frontline, and azur lane from my knowledge. They flip assets and share game design, even story. The idea of this game is not original but it’s a solid game concept. Unfortunately it’s a gacha game, micro transactions ruin so many games for me and for a lot of us. I don’t want to hear a speech about “how else does the game support itself?” Just sell your game, add dlc when needed, sell costumes but don’t sell me your casino game. The whole game just feels like another yostar Chinese knockoff game that is a huge weeb bait. Don’t waste your time or your money. If you want to waste your money go play a better gacha game and still be stuck in gacha hell, granblue fantasy is a good option avoid FGO, if you want to not waste your time and money buy animal crossing or doom or both. Thank you all for actually reading this review and save yourself the trouble.

F2P friendly and insane quality. Very high quality art, music, and story combine wonderfully with the well designed and balanced gameplay. Unit balance is very well thought out and your lower tier units are useful as role is more important than rarity. Even though I’ve spent a decent amount in game, I often used F2P build guides for stages I’m absolutely stuck on. The game is not grindy, though I recommend using guides to progress if your having too much trouble early on because sanity is plentiful and you will overcap constantly for the first several days most likely.

Among the best!. I have played a lot of gacha-style games, and Arknights is at the top for sure. I’ve played casually for over 2 years, and I can confidently say that regardless of whether you have money to burn, you will be able to complete the game with enough patience and grit. The most important thing to understand about Arknights before you start playing is that there is both gradual progression and difficulty. When you attempt to brute force missions the difficulty will spike substantially, so be prepared to hit a wall relatively fast. You will overcome these barriers by consistently upgrading your operators and optimizing your play. Don’t get discouraged and get baited into pulling for characters thinking that they will make the difference. All of the standard content in the game is able to be completed with lower rarity operators, so when you are stuck remember it is almost always that your operators need work, or that you aren’t utilizing the best strategy. Best of luck if you decide to give this game a shot. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

It’s great but the friend list... is a problom. The gameplay and story is fun to play. I don’t mind the sanity cap but I can’t play efficiently if the maps I play need specific units and I don’t have them. Usually I can solve that by borrowing a friend support unit but the game doesn’t let you choose a unit from that one friend. For ex. I want to borrow someone’s skadi for 5-3 challenge and I have a friend who has her as the support unit, I choose my squad and go to friend support, there is no skadi... I have to refresh until she appears or wait 10hrs for more refresh chances. Why can’t I just pick a unit from my friends list and be so much easier. Plus this a strategy game why is there a gatcha element to the friends support.

Dedication is key.. I have been playing this game on and off ever since it’s release because I found that the game was extremely difficult if you don’t play it the way the game wants you to. It introduces mechanics and skills unique to certain operators and expects you to use them. I love how low ranked operators can be just as, if not, more useful than high ranked ones. It’s an amazing game with amazing artwork. But as the title says “Dedication is key” if you want to make it far in the story or if you want to complete event storylines. Can’t truly say anything bad about this game. That’s high praise coming from a person such as myself.

Great game. Game is really entertaining You would be able to play it for a long time without getting bored of it The art is awesome and when you take weeks to upgrade one operators it feels extremely satisfying and looks great, the mechanics are fun to mess around with. Though the game is still developing so it may have some bugs which I have had too The game allows you to contact them if you’ve had these problems The game’s content is constantly coming If you want more there’s the CN account though the global one is more known When there isn’t anything else to do you could level up your account or just level up you operators The gacha in which you pull operators from may be annoying but that’s part of the game though RNG is involved Yostar adds cosmetic like skins and dorm decorations for those that like to spend money and if you whale on this game you can advance faster though f2P people can advance as well though it may take longer

Gud Game. My rating doesn’t save for some reason(it probably did but the UI doesn’t show that) so gonna see if it saves via review. Edit: most low star reviews seem to be either about system crashing, not being able to switch languages, or as recently shown the game being influenced by uncontrollable factors. Another edit: some low star reviews are also for just finding the game to be boring which I can see why for the most part. Also people who stumble upon this review and have trouble updating/loading the game, it’s probably a device issue with storage or an outdated device.

Top of its Class. Arknights was a refreshingly polished and visually stunning game. The story is hard to follow sometimes due to it mostly being told without clear visuals of what’s happening. But the gameplay shines with exceptional strategy and balance. However, it’s very much a gotchya game with loot box mechanics. After rolling 30 times for a specific 6 Star character, I didn’t even get one six star character. I quickly uninstalled in frustration. If you’re okay with RNG when it comes to spending valuable resources, Arknights is high up in its gotchya class, but I prefer a clear cut path to what I want. Gambling isn’t my thing.

Meh.. Played the game for a year and still is interested. First of all if you are looking for a game that you can play 4+ hours a day this is not the game for you. Arknights is meant to be played as a side game. The game is fun at first but after you’re done with all the story stages there’s much nothing to do but log on once a day, grind some stages, and then head out. There will occasionally be an event maybe once a month and some dead weeks. Also the game is very ftp friendly as you can clear most of the stages with free units and you’re guranteed a 6 star in the beginning. Overall the game isn’t that bad Ps: EN servers are heavily discriminated against as this is a Chinese game.

Best Tower Defense gave I’ve played, hands down. Amazing game, great story and characters. The art is pretty dope too. But seriously, this is the best TD game I’ve ever played. It is F2P friendly, but I’ve been playing everyday for a year so I don’t mind supporting them a little bit. You can spend a little money and get good value, but you definitely don’t need to to get lots of good characters. All of the content in the game can be beat with pretty weak characters *if* you use some big brain strategies. At the same time, the game doesn’t feel that easy, and it certainly doesn’t have to be easy. Overall excellent game, easily the best phone game I have played. Download it, and you won’t regret it!!

One of the best gacha games out there. Arknights truly excels in its interesting story themes and high quality pleasant music and soundtracks. The world building is very rich and the characters have nice design and character depth, and Arknights doesn’t rely on cheap fan service other gacha games do most of the time. Logging in daily doesn’t take much effort either because you can set it to automatically farm in the background and getting the materials to roll for the gacha is a weekly process which is convenient and fun to do. My only criticisms is that the new modules only buff the strongest in the game and don’t do much for the weaker units, when modules should balance it out so that the less rarer operators are stronger since the true spirit of arknights is restricting oneself with challenges and conquering tough conditions :) I always look forward to each event and main story that comes out and love and always will support this game!

Great game sanity!. The only thing I wish could be slightly different is for sanity to replenish a little faster. Sometimes I’ll play use up all the sanity, and I’m waiting all day just for it to fill all the way back up. I hate checking every hour to play one mission, and then waiting another 2-3 hours to do another mission because let’s face it 6mins per sanity is a long time. I think at least 3mins per sanity would be a little nicer to have some more game time. Overall though great game! I love the costume add ons I always like great cosmetics. The effects for each units attack is really great as well. I don’t really do reviews but this game deserves one. Can’t wait to see how this game develop more

Some quirks but awesome tower defense type game. Love the game and characters. Good graphics and strategy. Only issues I have is when deploying units you have to be really careful placing their direction and where you put them. Many times I’ve accidentally placed a character in a wrong spot or wrong direction with no way to fix it without withdrawing it and having to wait 1 minute to redeploy. And the friends system. It’s impossible to find friends in this game which is weird cause there is a function that requires friends (clues). If there could be a confirmation put in place when deploying and a random friend search function this would be 10/10 👍🏻

Very Good Chance of Obtaining Rare Characters. I’ve been playing for a couple months and I’ve already gathered quite a rare team. Arknights is actually really generous when giving out summoning materials because you can get 100 from daily quests, 500 from weekly quests and ~1600 from weekly annihilation. Additionally, there is a requirement system when you can basically choose what character you receive and, headhunting tickets are randomly acquired just by doing things in game.

About the purchase system. Hi, i would like to ask if i can get a refund or at least my rewards that i bought for the monthly headhunting pack. Because on the day the skadi event came out i bought the pack and surely enough it went through but never gave me the rewards, instead i tried restarting my game and purchase it again but every time i do that the apple store would tell me that it was already purchased and will be restored back as free and would bring me to a submitting back to neural network for about 1 to 2 hours. If i can just get the rewards i bought for it i will be glad because i really want to support your company and not ask for refunds, thank you.
