uh. i bought the premium and it still said 0 developes left or whatever. then i tried buying it again to see if it did anything and it said this app thing its already purchased and will be restored for free. and then i press restore and nothing happened.. FIX THIS PLEASE

hands down the best disposables app!!. this app is super user friendly! I love how you can edit with the different filters and even download the original unedited photo. one suggestion would be to add a feature where you can use flash. that would make this app even better than it already is! also- the one time purchase to be able to edit photos in your camera roll is so worth it!

BEST APP EVER. I’ve never written a review for apps before becuz i’m lazy lol but oh my god. THIS APP IS AMAZING! Every pic it takes looks like a real film camera took it AND u can adjust the way the film effect they put on it looks, PLUS add light streaks or time stamps. I was gonna ask my parents for a film camera & film for xmas but then I found this app & it saved my parents hundreds of $$. Most of the features on this app r free too & there’s no ads (it only costs u money if u wanna edit pics from ur camera roll but i think the whole point of film is “in the moment” pics so I prefer taking them directly from the camera on the app) anyways whole point is.. if you’re looking for a “film” camera, GET THIS APP TO SAVE UR MONEY👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩☺️🙈

As close to real film as you can get. i never write reviews OR pay for full versions of apps. i mean NEVER. but recently ive gotten into taking more photos and been looking for a digital alternative to buying disposable cameras and developing the film. i am so impressed with this app because it is simple, user friendly, and has the best and most true-to-life effects out of all the other apps i tried. im so excited to keep using this app! the full version to edit old photos is totally worth it!! make those memories sis

Best 35MM replica. I love how accurate the feel of the photos turn out. It’s the best app I’ve found that mimics the film look. It would be 5 stars if there was a feature that allowed to take flash photos in app.

No back flash. Amazing app but I wish it would allow you to have the option to do backflash when taking a photo for night time pictures

I love this app. I was looking for disposable camera apps for my birthday because I want to make an album. I stumbled on this and downloaded and I love it! The pictures come out so pretty and vintage. I quite literally never leave reviews about applications but I could do the same for this. 10/10 recommend.

Camera roll out of order. When I go to develop a picture from my camera roll, all of my pictures are out of order making it impossible to find what I want. Other than that the film effect is really good, just annoying to have to go through thousands of pictures to do what I want after paying for the app.

Chaos on gallery. Hey! Please provide a way that we can sort and choose local images via Image Albums! In gallery view we don't have any way to sort our pics and the default sort is not even set to latest image!

Realistic film look and easy to use. This App is very good. I use it frequentl to tweak my iPhone photos. The effects are realistic and subtle enough (when applied with restraint) to make your pictures look stunning. And the lean and easy user interface is a joy to use. But to be truly great the App lacks one feature: While I like the simplicity of the random effects, it could rellay use a feature to copy/paste edits. How about an option to apply the values of the last developed photo instead of random effects?

The Best. I usually never write reviews but I have almost used daze for a year and I use it for most of the pictures I take. The editing it gives to the picture when you take it is amazing but if u don’t think its good you can always edit it to your liking. This camera is better than other disposable apps that have to take like a day or two but this is automatic. I really like how it is very simple like the format of taking pictures. Best app I decided to download for pictures. ♾/10

enjoyed the app until i bought premium. i just bought premium and it wont let me import photos. FIX YOUR APP ASAP!! so upset, i feel scammed. i thought the app was awesome, and i used it often so i bought premium. what a mistake.

Worth the money if you like the vibes. I really love the Dazz camera and this gives me very similar vibes for my photos before I go into Lightroom. I really recommend this app but def look and practice with the 5 (I believe) free photos you do get so you can see.

Hard to use now. Love the app, works really well, but recently my undeveloped photos are all mixed up and can’t find anything. If there was a way to organize them it would be easier, but for now I can’t use it on any photos I didn’t take with the app camera. Super frustrating and hope this is fixed soon.

Add accounts!. I LOVE this app and have been using it do document my year. however, I’m worried that if it accidentally gets deleted all my photos will be gone. please add the option to create an account so we can have all of our data saved.

Best User Experience. This app is fast and very user-friendly. It’s minimalist in both design and features but very capable of producing unique disposable-style photos. There are effects that let you control light leaks, film grain, and even the shape of the glass. There are only four filters to choose from, but the list of effects more than compensates for it. There are a ton of “film” apps on the App Store but many of them are just collections of filters. This app gives you the freedom to shoot film with more editing power and virtually no cost.

EXCITED. There’s so many ways to adjust the settings and that’s just one reason why I love this app. It’s superior to any other film apps. Gives you four different development types and then you can customize and further adjust. It looks amazing

Go back to the old daze. The new update made the app worse Nd very limited. I enjoyed the old editing options, now you can only choose a filter. Guess im going back to VSCO

Best disposable app. I love disposables and have been searching for the best app to emulate the look! This is by far the best one and I have tried soooo many. It works best with harsh daylight photos, they look like real film photos! Nighttime and cloudy photos are a bit harder to work with but when paired with another editing app it can work.

Absolutely amazing. I love taking pictures and finding this app was a lifesaver. I have been looking (for a long time now) for a app that allows you to add an authentic looking polaroid filter on your pictures and I stumbled across Daze Cam! I was so blown away at the looks of the pictures and how incredible they came out! Thank you for creating such an amazing app! 😁😁😁

Amazing Photos, Poor Performance App.. I really want to love this app—the photos are amazing! But immediately when I tried to view the photos I took, the app crept crashing and not letting me see all my photos taken. I have shut off my phone and restarted everything, but the app keeps crashing… So I feel badly leaving a lower review since the photos I am barely able to see are cute…. But it’s impossible for me to use this app!

NOT MOVING PICTURES. You have probably heard of the moving picture trend and this is not the app. The app it good for what it’s made for but jest telling you this is not the dazz cam app. Letting you know instead of wasting your time trying to make moving pictures.

I just wanted to say that I’ve used this app for years now and it’s the only film app I have on my phone cuz no other film apps I’ve come across has replicated the quality and authenticity of film than this one has so really great job! I use it A LOT. I saw the new update and when I took pictures and the quality seems more fake in a sense when it didn’t look like I was taking a real film picture like it did on the older version in my opinion and it kinda felt like film filters and it ruined it for me. I really don’t want to delete the app, I just wanna know if there’s going to be a change or if there an option to downgrade the actually quality for the camera cuz I really liked this app. (not necessarily change the other features, they’re actually great and convenient, like the option to lessen dust and hairs or the convenience of the delete verification feature!

Used to love. I loved this app but recently it will not work. I have to close out the app completely every time I try to edit a new photo or the app is just completely frozen. I paid for this so I wish it would work properly. Also I appreciate the update with the choice of filters but there should also be the option to copy and paste the edits onto other photos.

Authentic look of film!. Love this app— it’s one of the best I’ve tried for turning a digital image into what looks like a film scan or print. I’d really love to see an option to save my edits as a preset!

The silver bullet for low-res digital photos. Between 1999 and 2004 I took tens of thousands of digital photos using very low end, early point and shoots. It’s been upsetting to revisit those photos to find that so many just look awful. I suppose there is a charm in the artifacting and insane saturation issues with those early digi cameras, but it makes printing photos for display a non-option. Enter Daze cam, the silver bullet I’ve been waiting for. I’ve thrown many of these photos from several different crappy cameras at this app, and in every case I’m able to produce something that I can print and frame. Amazing. In some cases, the film effect is very convincing and in other cases it isn’t, but the smoothing effects work wonders either way. Worth every penny.

Promising. When you take a photo it does look pretty vintage but I think the interface and home screen need to have more features than just the pic screen like a settings feature we can click on and the ability to upload photos from camera roll

omg. i downloaded this app bc my friend was having a 70s themed bday party at the skating rink & i wanted to take some shots that looked like real film without buying a disposable film camera. anyways they all turned out super great and had the most authentic film look out of any other editing app i’ve used in the past. but if u don’t like the look you can go adjust the photos to ur liking within the app. the only bummer is u can only take a certain amount of pictures w it for free and i don’t have money to buy the full version ;( but it was fun while it lasted and when i get a few dollars i’m def getting this app again

Best disposable camera app I’ve ever used. It’s still got the aesthetic disposable camera feel to it but it’s modernized. The editing is easy and fun. The only downside is that you can’t edit many photos from your camera roll but that doesn’t seem like such a big deal if you ask me. Best “disposable camera” app compared to HUJI, David’s disposable, and VSCO.

Update ruined it. Searching for a replacement app immediately. This was my favorite photo editing app— it made me delete all the rest. I spent months searching for an app like this and it was perfect. The beauty was its simplicity. The update ruined it. Please listen to us and bring back the previous version. Will no longer be suggesting this app to anyone, unfortunately, unless it becomes good again

This app is slept on. Stumbled on a gold mine of accident. My only grievance is that the view finder for the daze cam camera is small but i understand that’s for the aesthetic so I won’t knock it. This is the exact type of editing I have wanted and this has been the only app to satisfy that want.

App is good for film effect but UI needs work. I didnt know this app was paywalled; had no idea the develops were limited. I think it makes sense however, since the app has no ads. I ended up paying for the unlimited develops, as i really liked the style of edits that i can make with my photos. For just about 6 dollars, it gets the job done of adding film effect to your photos but it is in no way a full photo edittor, just a film effect customizer. I am reviewing 4 stars because I wish the undeveloped section of the app was.. well, more developed. A navigator for different albums like recents/favorites/other albums would be useful. Seems like this app isnt new though, as the last bug fix was 2 years ago. As film effect in photos is trending right now, i hope there is more to come with this app and isnt a forgotten project, because i do think it has a ton of potential.

A-. I love this app and it’s features, pictures look authentic and all, only reason this is not a 5 Star review is unfortunately this app is missing organization, I’m not able to select folders, or my favorites, and picture selection is all out of wack.

Dope app. I like the app a lot but I wish there was a zoom feature and I wish the viewfinder was bigger because most times I can’t even see what I’m taking a picture of

PLEASE ADD A FLASH. I absolutely love this app. I take pictures in it for all the vacations and great moments I share with friends and family. But PLEASEEEE add a flash to the camera. Really good!. Just bought the premium for $3 and honestly I don’t regret it! The fact that this app automatically gives you a preset edit is really good for me because I don’t like constantly editing it myself from scratch! Definitely recommend!

Daze Cam. I love this app so much! It was just by shear luck I stumbled upon this app! I didn’t know it will be so good! It’s given me such a vintage yet cute and subtle look on my picture with a purchase of $1.99 I’ve been able to make my photos look bomb it also allows 4 free chances to edit old pictures before the purchase but if you don’t want to purchase you can just use the camera! Best fake film app. So easy to use! Love that you can save the edited and the original to your camera roll! Love that you can edit them to look the way you want! All it needs is a flash button so it can be used at night! Apart from that it’s AMAZING🤩🤩🤩🤩

Easy fix for missing photos. If you can’t upload your full photo library, go to settings on your phone and allow the app to access them. Otherwise reach out to support, they respond quickly!

Can’t upload pictures from your phone. I just paid for it and I loved the filters but there’s no way to download pictures that you’ve already taken on your phone to it???

Boring.. Terrible. Boring and definitely NOT worth $5.99, most of those filters and edits you can get on free apps. Also there was not a wide variety of effects, which is why I called it boring, light streaks, blur, grain, etc yawn. A lot of photo editing apps are starting to adapt those same effects and for FREE.

needs one improvement. overall its a really good app, but, i would suggest that the moving pictures can be available to all mobile devices. for example, i hav the iphone 6s and theres no option for the moving pictures. but still a very good app. thank you for your time.

Please fix. I love this app, but after the new update, my photos now don’t appear in the order of my camera roll, so it’s basically impossible to use and impossible for me to find the photo I was to edit in this app. Please fix!!! This was 5 stars for me before this change.

took my money & doesn’t work. I purchased the yearly subscription, and when I tried to get on the app, it kept on crashing. So, I reinstalled the app and now my subscription is gone. I would like my money back, as I never got to even use it properly.

Paywall? No thanks.. This app was great for a while, through most of 2021 and halfway through 2022. Then it decided to not work at all for the second half of 2022. Checking it out now, it’s paywalled with a subscription model? No thank you.

it’s alright. i downloaded this app because i saw how good the reviews were, but was slightly disappointed. there isn’t much to help you edit and the filters are only good with certain types of pictures. i had developed about 3 photos before i got an alert saying i was only able to develop 2 more before having to pay, which made me want to delete it because it isn’t even that good. i wouldn’t recommend for the pure fact that it’s wayyyy to basic

Update is really bad. The vintage effect on the photos came out very realistic before. Now it all looks pretty cheesy. Please revert to the older version! Is there any way to get that version back?

Bring the old version back!. Classic example of: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I used to be so impressed by this app. It would show me my photos reimagined and it often made me fall in love with them in a new way. Now I can’t even imagine ever using it. The filters look so bad now and the new interface is very ugly.

Excellent for creating consistent, subtle disposable film effects. Cannot believe this app isn’t more well known and popular yet, but confident it will absolutely explode in popularity soon - I love to shoot with various real disposable and instant cameras, and have also tried nearly every popular or lesser known but praised iOS app out there which promises disposable film effects. I’m picky and have always been disappointed by those apps until coming across this one after lots of trial and error, and combing through many reviews from all over the web. This by far the best and most realistic in delivering the soft, bright and somewhat washed out look of actual disposable cameras such as those from Fujifilm. Comparing side by sides it can be difficult to determine which was taken with the phone; no other app’s come close to this! Love the amount of control offered; the edit tools are very well designed and uncomplicated. The random default edit offered by the app looks great every time, though it’s extremely easy to tweak anything you don’t love 100% about the initial suggested edit of the photo. I’ve finally found an app that has convinced me not to buy a new disposable to carry along on vacation! One suggestion/request for improvement would be to allow phone albums to be visible in the area where photos can be uploaded from the phone’s camera roll, to allow ease of editing older photos for those who store a lot of images on their device organized into albums. I’d love to use this app to process some photos from past years but it takes a long time to scroll that far down in my camera roll!

So disappointed it’s changed forever. I loved the simplicity and the way old app worked. Much more control and unique look. It changed overnight to something I did not need or want. So sad

GREAT BUT…. Great app with amazing effects and results, but the organization can be tedious to work with. I will give 5 stars when you can access particular albums instead of having to scroll relentlessly through your recents while looking for the pictures you want to edit.

New Update. The new update added pre-set filters which now makes it like every other film app. Before the update, this was a great app and the only one I found that was like it. Very disappointed in the update.

Perhaps hire a UX designer. Why oh why would you update the app to put the delete button in the same location and font on screen as the save button?!?!?!? Did you forget to hire a UX designer? 🙄

Photos are jumbled impossible to use. I don’t know if it’s a new update but my photos are jumbled (not chronological) which means it’s impossible to find anything from my camera roll to develop. This didn’t used to be an issue :(

Only Good if You Spend Money. This app was great for the three free photos I got to develop, but after that you have to pay $5.99. I wish there was a way that you could develop more than three, like if there was a three per every 24 hours rule for people who don’t want to spend money on an app.

Great but needs dust / scratch randomization. I like Daze a lot but it needs a way to randomize dust and scratches - seeing the same exact pattern isn’t convincing at all.

Why do we gotta pay??. Started to notice that every app I edit ask for money for certain things , now u gotta pay 6 dollars for your pictures to develop… thanks for the edits while it lasted… lost a customer who loved this app so much :(

Very close. This app is almost amazing. It needs the ability to browse folders. The way it currently runs forces you to scroll through your entire photo history to find a specific photo.
