So easy to setup. Amazed. This was so straightforward in setup and instant results. Thank you to the developers! The QR code part was brilliant.

Best tool around!. It is so simple to set up and just work, been able to work with the camera as it was a physical one is a great tool to have and more so if you plan to incorporate live footage making green screen easier. Amazing work!!!!

Blender 4.0????. I love this but when will 4.0 work? It works for only one take when you try in 4.0 then freezes won’t allow you to do anything else. Will happily update this to 5 stars when 4.0 support happens. ETA?

Fantastic!!. An amazing production tool for blender

It’s legit for Blender. Worked first try for me.. Some things just sound too good to be true but you bite anyway since the cost is reasonably worth the try. $5 couldn’t have gone to anything more amazing for me this week. I needed to get realistic camera movements in Blender for a personal project and I bought this not expecting much. It totally delivered and connected first try. I hope these guys get a lot more business for this.

It freezes. It freezes for me so I wasted ( dollars

WAY better than I expected. I expected it to be overly complicated or not work very well but I genuinely surprised at the ease of use and effectiveness of it. I messed around with it for an hour and had a far better and much longer camera animation than I would have been able to make by hand, definitely worth the money

Parent object to camera for additional functionality and possibilities. I just started playing with this a few mins ago. I parented a cube to the camera, set my viewport to an arbitrary place where I could see camera/ cube and now I’m essentially recording the cube movement in 3D space by moving the phone around my physical area. How cool is that!? Totally opens things up as far as expression. You just need to increase your blender units so you don’t have to run around the room. I’m so overwhelmed with the possibilities. I asked the developer if I can bypass the camera and choose another target but even if I have to it’s not that big of a deal to copy/ paste frames after I’m done animating.

Good, but can be better.. I bought this and I must say it’s interesting. The feature of a live view of the workspace is neat, but every single animation I make, my camera glides instead of walking normally.

Amazing camera animations!. This works smoothly with my iPhone 11 the camera works amazing on blender, I wish they could add this to C4D soon!

This app is brilliant!!. Getting realistic camera moves in blender can require a lot of finesse with manipulating keyframes, but this app takes out all of the technical work and allows you to focus on getting the composition you want. Virtucamera is a game changer. Thank you so much developers 🙏

The only time I’ll ever spend money on an app. I was skeptical at first for buying this app but it has blown my mind away of how easy it is to use to get realistic camera movements in software! I would defined recommend this to anyone who is in need of getting easy realistic camera movements .

I highly recommend this app!. I downloaded it and I wasn’t sure about how good it would actually work. I have horrible internet and normally things like this don’t work for me, but it was so surprisingly simple. All you do is scan a QR code on you monitor and your immediately able to make the camera move. It was awesome and it will be very helpful.

Glitchy. A very glitchy mess of an app

As good as the app is it caused me hours of frustration. When I purchased the app all seemed amazing until it came time to render my final project on blender. I was constantly getting crashes when rendering, and I spent hours trying to resolve this issue until I got to the part where I disabled some of my plugins. After removing the plug-in given by the virtualcamera website. My render went through smoothly. Besides the rendering issues this app is amazing, just keep this review in mind if you read it.

Unlimited. If I remember correctly this app was previously by subscription. At the time I needed it for a project it worked great. Noticed it’s unlimited meaning no longer subscription based and I didn’t hesitate to buy. I may not need the app now but it has a place in my toolbox, I’ll use it again.

This App is superb!. This App is extra ordinary. I’m controlling my camera and record in real-time. This is insane. Thrumbs up to the developers. I wish it could have camera tracking capability. Still, so far so good!

Crashes when starting server.. Hi, would love to use this app but it crashes every time I start a server. Emailed the contact email on the website - hoping for a response. Using macOS 14.2.1 and latest version of Blender 4 Help would be appreciated. Thanks

Amazing app. Works like magic in Blender!

Camera tracking won't work with 13 Pro. I have a 13 pro and I'm trying to use this app with blender, I can connect the app to blender with the provided addon for VirtuCamera and every like the zoom function and the viewport on the phone works. But when I try to use the tracking function and I do what the app asks you to do like move the phone left to right and up and down but I do this for 2-5 minutes and nothing happens, I can’t even select anything in the app and have to close it to regain function to the working features that do work. I’m only giving this 1 star to bring attention to the developer other then the tracking issue the app is very smart and I hope I can eventually get full use out of it.
