Worthless. This app stops logging your videos so you’re not able to review them. It will log into the file section but then will stop and you can’t get it to restart. The camera will go offline and won’t reconnect no matter what you do (reboot camera, reboot app, etc.) This app makes your security camera worthless therefore making the app worthless.

Almost look cam. This app had potential but instead it is a complete Joke and a waste of time because just when you think you have it working you soon realize that you have another set of issues that give nothing but problems.. I think the developer kinda gave up and moved on and if full of crap on all the bug fix updates because 0% of the time it works 100% correctly….. you hope it will but are let down…The rest of the time the app is on break from what I can tell just like the developer

Trash. Not useful for the end user, but is useful for the people on the other end who are able to mine data through this app & camera combo (read the coding). If you have a newer iPhone, this probably will not work.

Doesn’t work. It was working for the first 2 weeks after that it’s impossible to connect again it doesn’t even show on my wifi connection to add it again.

Waste of money.. It will not stay connected to Wi-Fi. Then it lost the password 4 times. Kept have to delete the device and reinstall it. Worked every time I reinstalled it but as soon as I left the app and tried to get back on, I had to start over again. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Decent. - Can’t set alarms for overnight, when doing so it says “start time must be lower than end time” - Notifications are inconsistent. Sometimes days will go by, while there is movement, and I get no notifications. Almost seems like there is a quota as to how many notifications I get each month. This wouldn’t be an issue if the first issue I noted above would get fixed.

Terrible App/ Don’t buy camera that needs this app. I usually don’t care for writing reviews but this is app is truly terrible. I bought a camera that requires this app. The video quality was Not too bad but when I tried to view any saved videos on this forsaken app it would always fail. It failed when trying to download files to phone to view them. They offer a cloud system when you pay monthly or yearly but it does not work AT ALL. There are no files No response from support team or anyone. Avoid LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Decent when it works. The overall app is pretty decent with ok controls, easy navigation, and ok layout, BUT it rarely works, extremely difficult to connect to the network, loses connection 99% of the time, simply doesn’t work properly 99% of the time, and constantly acts like it’s trying to connect to eventually get that dreaded, “Device Offline” error. I’m planning to research to find an app that actually works with my camera, even if it’s 50% of the time. Modern technology is only good when it works and this app renders my camera useless and a throw away at best. Hopefully the developer will figure it out, get the bugs fixed, and strive to achieve at least 4 stars on the typical review.

App needs help. With some work, this app could be decent. The alarm config settings indicate changes were saved but if you go to another device setting and return to alarm confirm, it automatically resets. Without alarm settings you have to watch all footage to see a detection. No option for delete all saved files without clicking each one but that doesn’t delete the entry. It still shows up but with 0 in each data field. You can’t ffwd through files without downloading but it doesn’t download to your phone. The live viewing has night vision but unsure when it’s on or off and no changes are noticed when toggled. Set the recording intervals for 30 min but files were an hour and 45 min. There was a 3 hour gap during continuous recording. Changed record interval to 5 min and it seems to record accurately.

App is decent. Cons -pop ups are in Chinese (but everything else is mostly English) -no explanation of what any button does or how to set anything up - app doesn’t crash often but does slow down and mess up from time to time -when viewing files saved to the sd card, you cannot skip ahead in the video, you must sit through the whole 5 mins of you wanna see the end of the video (if you download the video you can ff and rw) - sometimes when downloading files the download bar won’t show up but will still be downloading -if you leave the files page to go view your stream their downloads will be canceled. -Must stay on file page to download files even if you never leave the app -doesn’t provide camera wifi information (ip address etc) -recorded video is a little slower than it actually is Pros -does what it’s supposed to do (stream and record videos) - doesn’t crash as much compared to other apps - camera is always online when I check it -there is a lot of useful features and options on the app such as the motion detection recording and night vision but you have to figure it out for yourself Overall 3 stars bc it works better than most other ip camera apps but is by no means perfect

Not good. This product should not be on the market. It doesn’t have a single more than a few feet from the camera. The it doesn’t connect to the WiFi 9 times out of ten. It doesn’t record more than a couple minutes. Dose anyone know an app that can pick up any camera because this camera’s app is horrible!

Okay but needs improvement.. I have several camera that all use an app similar to this one. Overall I’m happy with this product but have noticed a few bugs. 1. When watching live video the sound will play over the speakers and not the headphones. I did find if I unplugged and replugged my headphone jack it would work. But each time I close the camera or app I’d have to do this again. 2. The alarm play back “files” won’t load. Some will say they have “0” storage on the file, and others will show a file size. For not however it won’t play the video. The only way I’ve been able to record video is if I am manually watching the camera and hit “record”. The Alarm recording is basically useless. I have played around and tested this on 3 camera and they all have the same issue. Over all I’m happy with this product, but it does lack what other companies have excelled in. I find the privacy concerns to be very concerning. And I would like assurance that those have been fixed in the interest of your customers. I would be glad to provide images or videos to show the exact issues I have been having .

Flaw in the system. Flaw in the system lets you see other people’s cameras even though you have reset them prior to selling them. I have a retail store and I have proof of that if you need evidence of what I’m saying

Mystery. Was working ok.. then started kicking offline.. Had to reset many times. -Now it saves and can’t watch most of them… -You can download but I’m not sure where it saves to? Fixes needed. This could be a great product but the disconnect between the app and the customer service is apparently huge as they don’t respond to anyone. -When you open an alarm notification it doesn’t attach to the video that was recorded… -You can’t fast forward the recordings… So while it’s nice- it is becoming unreliable And when it was needed (for security) it Was easily defeated and knocked off line… It has great potential- it just needs some fixes

Audio through the phone. The audio isn’t too bad with the camera, but it’d be significantly better if I were able to listen through the media speaker of my phone instead of the call speaker. If it got an update for this then I’ll give it 5 stars.

App keeps crashing. Since the July 2021 update the app keeps crashing after being open a few minutes. Some features do not work like motion detection. The night vision is grainy. Overall it decent. But Definitely needs some work and to be smoke tested before releasing fixes to customers to make sure new bugs aren’t being introduced.

Forgot password can’t access camera. How do I reset my cameras password so I can coffee the live feed? Every time the camera connects it asked for my Passover but I don’t know it so I can’t use the camera. I tried delete the app and reinstall but still ask for my password.

Needs some updates.. Ok upped the rating to 4 from 3 because finally fingered out how to save from app the phone. For those struggling like me, download the clip you want to save, then go to photos at the bottom of the screen. Then once you select the downloaded clip in there long press on it until it gives you the option to save and it will save to your phones photo album. Push notifications don’t work -motion detection still needs an update please! It will record on motion detection but will continue to record clips infinitely even though there is no more motion. (Found out this was the camera not the app so motion detection is good) -also the IR schedule needs to be updated to be able to start the IR at a time higher than the end. For example I can not tell it to start IR mode at 9pm and end at 8am. Thank you for the app overall it works well once you get the hang of it.

Works great and reliable. The app works well with my security cameras and I haven’t had any issues in a couple years

Alarm doesn’t work. I paid for alarm cloud storage. I have it setup but never get an alarm trigger or recording to cloud. This makes the camera worthless. I have it in my personal office. People and coming in and rummaging around and I can’t record anything unless I open the app and manually record. But I never get an alarm trigger to know when someone is there. I’d have to watch the live stream 24/7 then hit the record button. Absolutely worthless.

Improve the app. Here are the things that need fixing: 1. When listening to live stream it does not work with headphones on my iPhone. I have to listen through the phone speakers. This doesn’t work when you don’t want other people to hear. I should be able to wear headphones to listen. 2. Recordings do not play sound. Fix it so video recordings play sound. I shouldn’t have to download a recording to a computer to hear sound. I need sound in near real time on playback. 3. When playing a recorded video you are not able to skip forward or backwords. I don’t want to watch a full three minutes on my phone for each recording especially when the stream is on loop. I shouldn’t have to download recordings to a computer to hear sound and skip around to a different portion. 4. Motion alarms don’t work consistently and seem less reliable if the sound alarm is turned off with only push notifications. I get an initial alarm per day and then none for subsequent motion.

Horrific. Just horrific.. By far the worst app that has ever been created. Actually, it may be the best ever created if the goal was really to do everything possible to destroy one’s sanity. I need not go into detail, as other reviews are spot on, but it is just incredible how every feature seems to have been designed with the express purpose of frustrating the user, with little recourse for the users themselves, as the app developers seem to have other priorities given their refusal to address these simple issues. Few things have made me scream into a pillow as much as this app. What a disgrace!

The Worst App I Have Ever Used. Just a catastrophe. Alpha level software. Not a single feature is dependable, something absolutely essential for home security and monitoring. Software loses connection with camera at least once a week requiring a camera factory reset and setting it up again. SD card reformatting often required because it often cannot loop recordings. Software often reports formatting failed, even when it doesn’t. Cloud recording paid subscription add-on not dependable and often goes down on weekends. Recordings stored there have playback issues, often switching between normal and fast forward-style playback with no way to correct. Downloading those recordings is baffling. Alarm monitoring simply doesn’t work. You need to manually review recordings, but you cannot easily do so using terrible built-in video player. Software controls often don’t work in landscape mode. I’ve had this six months and there have been only two app updates, none improving the software and the last one added new problems. I have used hundreds of apps over the years. This is literally the worst I have ever used. Unconscionable.

Ugh. What good is motion detection if it doesn’t send push notifications. The notifications only happen if the app is open and the camera on your phone is open. If I’m already viewing the camera why do I need a notification? I want it to notify me on my phone so I will know to open the app and look at the camera!!

Works good. I bought the camera that looks like a charger & I got this App, I had Zero trouble, my camera was up and running with in 3 minutes, No complaints here!!!

Junk. Here I thought I would be able to look into my house while away from the house, but in order to see your camera you have to be connected to your wifi and then look through the camera. Which defeats the purpose of having a camera not only that but if you don’t use it for 10 minutes it shuts off and you literally have to take it down turn it off and back on for it to connect to and then connect to your 2.4 wifi to look at yourself because your home and it doesn’t work unless you’re home . This was a waste of money for me I’m going on vacation and would like to see my house while I’m gone but can’t because this product just doesn’t work period. Even after charging the thing overnight it still doesn’t stay on highly recommend a better device if you’re looking for a real security camera and not just a camera that works when you are home.

look cam. Very cheap camera with an even worse app. The app is not intuitive and it frequently freezes or doesn’t work at all. You have to remove yourself from your wifi network in order to access the network the camera is connected to. Really poor design

App keeps crashing. For the most part the Wi-Fi and IP connection works fine. Night mode don’t work for nothing and the same for sound… there is a mic but you can’t hear anything on the recording or live feed. Notification works fine but doesn’t record a video that will attach to that notification. My biggest issue is the constant app crashing. I was recording something happening in my yard and after 2 mins of recording the app keeps crashing and doesn’t save the video. You will not have a saved video unless you still the recording before it crashes.

Decent app considering but security flaws. OK like a lot of things these days this is from China as are the cameras that it connects to. All and All does what it is supposed to do. Instructions are minimal you’ll have to figure it out on your own. One thing that’s concerning, you do not have to set up your router to allow the communications through. And when you’re configuring the software even if you’re not on site it’s able to find the camera with your iPhone. The only way this can work is if both the camera and your software are connecting to a third device such as a server someplace. Given that the camera is on 24/7 I would not suggest putting it in a sensitive area such as a bedroom. It’s almost certain that the manufacturer or the coder of the software have unlimited access to recorded video and the video feed.

Waste of money. I can’t even comment on how well the camera works because I can’t connect it to wifi. I followed all instructions and it’s a piece of junk. What made it worse is I bought 3 of them and none of them will connect! I tried calling the support phone number and it can’t be connected to. Any place you find the word help on the app it doesn’t connect to anything. I think it’s a scam. I wrote to the company and we will see if they respond.

WiFi won’t come up. It worked great for a month or so, then recently lost connection. I can’t get it to reset or anything and the camera WiFi won’t even show up!! WHY? I’ve done everything possible I knew to do and researched!

Garbage. Cameras won’t stay online. I deleted a camera because it wouldn’t stay online. Trying to find the reset button in the hole of the camera is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Spent a lot of money on the cameras and it’s trash.

How do you set motion sense?. I can't contact customer support because the site is in Chinese. I can't set it to motion sense, I can only set it to record at certain intervals which isn't helpful

It’s ALWAYS something… but it Works. EVERYTIME there is an update something gets fixed and something breaks. It connects great now but does not loop so my micro usb runs out of space and stops recording.

Not worth the money. Freezes constantly. Doesn’t record. Quality of picture is fine.

Terrible app and audio. The audio of the device is not quality. It’s very hard to understand what’s being said. The app is very basic. You can not fast forward clips in the app. The app does not work with Bluetooth. You can’t download multiple clips at once. Hopefully someday the will update it. It’s unlikely I will buy this product again, unless they make changes to the app.

Good and bad. When the app works like it should, it’s fine. But that’s when it actually is. I’ve done just about every single “fix” to make it work again only to be faced with the same issues. The most common issue is the camera appearing offline, but my xfinity app says it’s connected. This issue sorts itself out but it’s a guessing game of when. The next issue is audio. There’s no Bluetooth headphone support for the app which is odd considering it’s 2023. Another “audio” issue is the audio coming from the live video feed. 90% of the time it’s very hard to hear noises or even people talking (yes, even when they’re right by the camera) it tends to make people and noises seem very far away from the camera and randomnly it’ll get super loud only to go right back to being very quiet and muffled to the point it sounds like your camera is in your fish tank on the other side of the house but don’t worry It gets worse. There’s always a constant “feedback” noise that 50% of the time gets louder than the actual noise in your home making it impossible to understand a conversation or actually hear noises inside your home. I’ve experimented with this specific issue and from what I’ve concluded to, each outlet in your home makes it better or worse. The strangest part is, the closer I placed my camera to the router, the worse the feedback and audio got

Wrong time. No support. Look guys. You have a half decent product here but there is no way to correct time. I tried rebooting and resetting. Time is correct a few minutes and then it is off by 4 to 6 hours. Fix this PLEASE since it effects timestamps on videos on Scard. Fix this and you'll get your 5 stars

Weak. A lot to fix . Stops recording … when someone there it alerts you but doesn’t resolve the action there in case you want to check it later . Forget the sound it’s impossible to hear what’s going on and they know but they play that they never had this problem before, unfortunately I got it before read the reviews zzzz

Camera does not connect. The camera is only working when directly connecting to it, it never would connect to my Wi-Fi no matter how many times I reset it. Very disappointed as I had a limited timeframe to set it up

App used to work great but now doesn’t work. The app worked great for a bit, but then it stopped working. When I try to connect a new camera to my home WiFi network the app times out when it should list all of the networks available. Once this is fixed it should work great again.

It was fine for a week. I’m currently out of town so I cannot physically troubleshoot this issue. There was an outage in my neighborhood which caused the device to go offline. Now the internet is back up and running and the device still reads “offline”. This has been so inconveniencing because this device is now useless until I get back home. The audio issues are less than decent. I wish the audio was better, however, you can make out audio 75% of the time. Please add Bluetooth capability for audio listening and improve the audio. I would not purchase this device again.

Junk. Will no longer connect to any of the cameras. They did an update and screwed everyone! Don’t waste your money. Now we all have cameras that won’t connect. All you get is a window just constantly thinking like it’s going to connect but won’t.

Networking Issues. The app has issues when connecting to networks other than the hotspot for the device. You won’t be able to use the camera with your home WiFi. It’s sad when an IT technician can’t even get your app to work with your device. From what I can tell, your device gets caught in an authentication loop and causes the app to de-sync from the device.

Always connecting. It seems that the app DOESN’T work 9 times out of 10. It definitely doesn’t work when I want it to work. It is always “connecting” and when it is online and I want to see the saved files, it tells me loading failed (very common pop up in this app). I figured files would be stored regardless if the camera is online or not. When I do have access to the videos, a lot of times I can’t view them. I have not tried downloading them because I don’t want to download all videos just to view them. I cannot fast forward and there is no option for video length-they are all 5 minutes (I believe...again: loading failed). I have not been able to use the microphone option at all either. Quality is okay.

Lookcam. Hello to the LookCam family, there are problems with the application that is found in iPhone 13 and 14 phones. There is a problem that the camera does not recognize the buttons as shown in the picture. The camera does not recognize your application, so I hope that this problem will be resolved because many Gulf countries use this application. Please advise us why The camera does not work with this device. Either you want the devices to work well. You have to update or add these devices, or you agree with the type of this camera. Thank you.

No alarm notification!. Purchased the in app “push notifications”. I get nothing! No push, no picture, no pop up. And no help! iPhone 13 Pro, notification enabled in the app and on the phone. Not even in the cloud messages folder! Again, No support! Take your money just fine. It’s good at that!

Doesn’t work - Save your money. Tried connecting, entered the right password, and after multiple resetting the device name never comes back if you delete it to start all over again. Do not waste your money in this at all. I am out $130 bucks.

Does not save the files to phone. It works ok. But it doesn’t save to phone when you click the files and it saves downloaded. It goes nowhere because in the iOS setting it has no options to read or write to photos/videos/ie on your phone. You can search all your folders. It’s not there. Basically worthless.

Very easy once you get logged on. I’ve used this app for over a year now it’s a very efficient and easy flowing setup. The system works very simple it’s a one push button record system It has dropped out a few times but only because of a bad Wi-Fi signal in the local area Other than that this is a great app and very easy to use I like how it is there one button push download system as well very easy to cross over and store on your PC

totally doesn’t understand K.I.S.S.. What’s wrong with simple buttons to configure and remove sd to download. This is designed by someone by someone that sits in front of a computer all day for someone that sits in front of a computer. I do not recommend this product.

Audio issues. The audio is very poor but the visual is good. The unit connects easily to the Wi-Fi. It’s a fairly good product, would be nice if they can improve the audio and have it connect to the Bluetooth as well

Major Bug Fix Please. For some reason my audio doesn’t work and I don’t know what to do

Constantl Connection Problems. Camera keeps freezing up and stops recording, microphone doesn’t even work and unit keeps loosing connection even though wifi router is 15 feet away. Please HELP

Horrible!. This app is always buffering or super glitchy. I got 2 glitchy minutes of watching followed by 3 minutes of watching circles dance while it buffered. If your camera requires this app, get a different camera.

Doesn’t work without WiFi. If you wear the cap and want to record someone. This product DOES NOT WORK. It requires a wifi connection or it requires a wifi connection to your phone. Bad app. Use to work decently. After update does not connect to camera and can not connect a new camera to the app.
