Mega Shield Is A Protection Scam. A Mega Shield pop up ad arrived on my iPad 1/1/20 in Safari and it told me I had to install Mega Shield or else my Apple ID details may be stolen. Earlier that day, my device had begun to slow and by evening it Safari barely worked. I knew something was up and just then their pop up ad showed up so I installed it. Luckily I cancelled it the next day before I was charged $70. Whether it came in a virus, Trojan Horse, or whatever, shame on Mega Shield for operating a scam like that. I’m surprised that the Apple Store distributes scum like Mega Shield.

RIP OFF. I don’t care about the app itself. I tried it, didn’t find it worth the price, and I’ve spent the 3 free days allowed trying to cancel. BUT THERE’S NO WAY TO CANCEL. No link to the product or the company, no address, url, or phone number, no email from the vendor with information to contact them. The 3rd day has arrived and all I have is a charge of some $89 on iTunes. Now I’ll have to fight iTunes over this. Thanks, Magic Solutions.

Don’t do this!. I hit activate by mistake and now have this program I don’t want! There’s no way to cancel, it says I won’t be billed If I cancel in the three day trial period, but there’s no way to get to that option. The contact information is out of the country, and goes by different name. Another way to screw people out of their money. There is also not an option to give it no stars.

I’ve called the company and they acted like they weren’t the company when that was the same number on their website. I even emailed them.. I’ve done these things several amounts of times trying to cancel my subscription. I’m still trying to cancel my subscription I still get billed!! Don’t get trapped.

Be wary of “free” trial. Free trial instigated a $119 subscription before the trial began. This was not obvious before downloading. When a refund was requested when subscription was canceled before trial period aping the app was never used, apple rejected the request.

Once you’ve agreed to almost anything and given permission to a things that may affect you in this life and the next they offer you a price of $119.99 per year if I got it right. Finally you get a screen with home page, etc. Try to find out what’s free as I read on net. Then you get a subscribe button. One page reads if you use you have signed a contract. Free cancelation within 3 days. Look for a place to cancel just in case I hit something they deem as use. Can not find place to cancel. Delete app with anxiety now sky high. Nobody with anxiety should hit this site. I hope someone there reads this, relieves my anxiety and this is not just deleted and they make things more transparent
