FRAUD. ILLEGAL PRACTICES. CORRUPTION.. I was testing this app that was not supposed to start until tomorrow April 19th. Even though I liked the app, I had done every single game and got intermediate to advanced on every single one of them. I figured I was done with it as it didn’t provide anything else, so I was planning to cancel it before it renewed tomorrow. And guess what, Apple illegally and fraudulently stole the money from my account the day before and before I could cancel the subscription. Now it takes 48 for a review and for them to decide whether they’ll reimburse me my own money which they took without my permission. And then up to 30 days before I’ll see it back in my account. This warrants for a class action lawsuit. It’s clear they do this every single day with people’s money, using funds that they steal before subscriptions are supposed to renew, and taking their sweet time to return it. And that is for the people who pay attention. Many will not even see that Apple stole their money and will never request it back. There’s definitely a class action lawsuit here.

Brain plasticity training. It’s always good to ask ourselves in the day if something is good for our brains or not. I’m grateful to have been introduced to mind pal and have been enjoying being able to set aside time for my brain each day. Brain plasticity is a wonderful thing and it’s fun to see how much potential we have just by investing into growing and taking care of our brains. The free version has been awesome and all the different games are too fun! My best friend and I do it daily and love sharing scores. It has been helping me strengthen my weaknesses and diversify my strengths 🤗 I hope you try it out!

Issues with content and 2-option multiple choice. One of the most entertaining pieces of this up for me is the flash words game. It involves reading at a fast space. The content of this game ought to be very dependent on your ability to read, and not at all based on your ability to recall information that you’ve been taught before. Consider making the information being tested on to be fictional, and the questions much less given to guessing. Consider >2 potential answers. Giving information about South African apartheid, for instance, and then testing the player on whether the Truth & Reconciliation Commission was intended to promote (A) land reform or (b) reconciliation, is not a test of reading comprehension. It’s a contextually obvious answer.

Great Brain Game. This is a great game for those who want a little brain activity during the day. The puzzles have a lot of work put into them and are really fun if you ask me. When you play for the first day or two, there are five levels to complete. After a couple days, then there are only three, and they ask for you to pay for the pro version for the other two. I don’t pay for them. I’m not going to recommend upgrading to the pro version, but it certainly wouldn’t be a big waste. Overall, this game is great for those who are in need of a little distraction.

No bad app…helpful.. Most apps, games are designed to target the reward centers of the brain, keep users engaged and using the app. This app does the same however it provides positive benefits and actually improves brain function. Lets you look at your progress and see how you compare to others in your age group also utilizing the app. What isnt provided is the amount of users you are compared against so that limits the analysis. Memory, recall, language, basic calculations, that in this day and age rarely get regular practice and visual processing declines over time as we age…this app targets those areas and actually focuses attention and strengthens those connections. It is not waste of time to utilize this app and it is enjoyable to challenge brain function and work to strengthen weak areas. I was impressed to learn the developer is out of the Mid East and not the SF Bay area given that so many developers are local. Thank you for its development and i hope you add more games and expand upon the areas of the brain function, plasticity targeted.

Great app to give brain a workout. As I have been getting older I have noticed my memory is not as it once was. I saw this app and gave it a try. It has several different “games” that rotate through the daily workouts. None of the tasks require any specialized knowledge. There are logic puzzles, memory puzzles, simple math (+, -, /, and *), and others. The free version let’s you play 3 different games. The paid version will give you 2 more. I am using the free version so I don’t know if the paid version just gives you 2 more of the same games in the rotation or has games not available in the free version. To play 3 games only takes a few minutes so it allows a quick workout. The other good thing is there a very few ads in the free version and are not long. I have enjoyed it thus far. I suggest giving the free version a spin but play several days so you can see the various games.

I love it and hate it at the same time. 1 can't stop playing this game. Initially, I didn't want to spend the money on it but got tired of looking at ads. (At least I think this game had ads. I've tried several. This is the only one I now pay for.) I also got tired of not being able to play the other three tiers in the daily prompt. Then, one day, I was able to unlock one if I followed them in Instagram. (Clever foxes!) And that's how they got me. So I finally said, Fine! I'll pay for it for ONE year and cancel if I don't enjoy it. For now, do I ever enjoy it. I spend far, far too much time playing. And whodathunk a game where you simply have to find three matching numbers or letters would be so darn hard AND therefore addictive? Good lord, do I ever waste hours trying to do that one. And the one where you spell words out of shuffled letters? Forget about it. I've given up bathing, eating, brushing my teeth; my Helpful Not Helpful Report a Concern

Okay, here’s the whole run down.. The first few daily workouts are great but then you can only complete 3 out of 5 of them by day 3 unless you upgrade to pro or share the game. Even if you share, it’ll only unlock the 4th. Aside from that, I keep playing because there’s plenty of brain workouts! You can repeat the same ways you got for the day or you can find the ones available for free if you don’t want to pay. There is honestly plenty to do! I’ll probably upgrade to pro at some point but I’m trying to see how long it stays playable at free. I’d still 10/10 recommend this to anyone. It’s part of my morning routine now.

I wish you didn’t want at for it but it’s fun. This app is fun and it adds challenge to the games I am presented with. I like to test myself and it has helped my brain work harder. I like that you can swap a challenge out and retry challenges as many times as you’d like. It gets a little stale after a few months because you’ve played all the games by now. I’d like some new challenges. I’ve paid for it for a year, so I’ll keep going but when I looked at my first 90 days, nothing has changed. Did I mention they show your daily accomplishments, and compare you to all the other players. In the long run, It has made me aware of my cognitive abilities and keeping them up. I think it’s a better app than a lot of the crap games, people get addicted too!

Awesome, Unique Educational App!. This has super great games to teach your mind new skills. I am not very great in the flexibility area, but I have already developed it very high. I learn at least two new words every time I do a language game. Though you don't have access to all games in the free version, I like it like that. It helps me stay focused and work on improving the specific skill in the game. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over the age of about twenty instead I would recommend the other learning app, elevate. Fantastic for kids and teens. I haven't seen many other educational apps like this, it makes me want to learn! Thanks to the makers!

Sometimes not clear. Overall I enjoy using this app. I’m 81. I’ve tried other games and left them because each activity was timed too quickly and they made me feel stupid. This app is timed in some activities as well, but it’s more a matter of learning to concentrate better rather than trying to find a concise word or phrase in a very short time that I may know given a few more seconds. I didn’t give a 5 because some of the instructions are not clear and it takes me several times through the activity before I realize I’m not doing it correctly. I’ve only been doing this app for a short while. I’ll have to see if it helps me over time to concentrate better and exercise my mind.

Great app! 😆. I really think this app is a good one except that you have to pay 💰 for some of the games. First of all the games are great 👍 and I really like them but I really want to try out some of the other games but I have to pay and I don’t want to. Secondly, the ads, some ads pop up unexpectedly and I think 💭 that that’s annoying. When I play the games and I am done with my workout 🏋️‍♀️ I want to do some other games and go to “ More games “ but all of them except the ☝️’s that I have played today are all locked 🔒. Anyway I really like this game and I am getting smarter everyday so I would recommend it to someone who wants to find a brain 🧠 training app 😍.

Even the free version is good. I love this game. The only thing I hate about free games is the constant ads but after all that is free. This game truly minimizes the length of ads so it’s pretty quick. You can review it for unlocking a game, you can share it on Facebook for unlocking a game, but even if you’ve never did do any of that it’s still great. All you do is hit Skip when it tells you to do something between the second game and the next. After that, you still get one more game and you fulfill your quota for the day. I really like it and recommend it highly.

Best app for kids. My daughter and I have both been using MindPal and it’s incredible! It teaches my daughter to be able to put together words with the letters scrambled up, memorize the place of things, point out bad grammar, and the notification that comes up at (the time you choose) that you can turn on and off in “profile” helps remind her to do her brain workout of the day! You may not believe me, so let your child use MindPal for a week and you can check how well their doing in which category when you tap “status”. I will warn you though, when your child used MindPal for almost a week, you will need to pay a bit of money for your child to reach the end of their brain workout but no matter how much money they charge, I promise you it’s worth it!

So far so good!. Been recovering from a concussion and it was suggested to me by my doctor that I use an app like this to help with my memory and focus issues. So far so good I think. It’s only been a week but it’s been especially helpful with the language and verbal skills. Simple day to day tasks like writing emails felt like a chore, but I do feel like my sentences and word choices are coming together better. I really like the structure of the app and the metrics that it provides. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I feel like it’s too soon to give it 5. I’m looking forward to writing another review in a month so after I’ve had more time to track my progress. For now, overall, this is an app I’ll definitely recommend to friends and family.

Pricey. The games in the free version are fun and challenging and I’m sure all the other games that are locked are just as fun, being able to see your progress makes you want to do better each time you play and being able to see how you compare to your fellow players is a fun feature or I believe that it would be. I would have given it all 5 stars if it wasn’t for the cost. I live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford the full paid version and even if I could afford it I believe it is still a little pricey for the blue collar folks like myself and with all the unemployment today people are having a hard time just keeping the lights on and food on the tables.g ? So other than the price to unlock the full version I believe that this app will be in the top of it’s category for a long time to come.

Refer-able App!. I never talk about the apps I use for pleasure/leisure mainly because I mean who cares. But if in a conversation with someone who tells me they like mind helping games I always suggest this app. I came on to see if there’s a free trial period for new users but found the reviews and decided I should share with whoever cares! It’s a really great app. They have plenty of games to where it doesn’t feel so repetitive. They track your progress as you become stronger at each it’s rewarding. Tracks you as you do it daily. I’ve only gotten off track a few times, but each time I was devastated! It’s usually because someone calls and I forget to finish my daily 5. Boy it stings! So somehow they’ve kept me wanting more! I love that they offer wordle from New York Times which also leads to some of their free games (or you can subscribe to them as well) I loooooove connections on that. On mind pal my faves are match pairs, grammar, slicer & one line. Only game I always pass on is the speed reading I don’t find that enjoyable. Anyway for anyone who cares!!!

Fun overall. Overall, the games are fun. They’re challenging, and I like seeing how I’ve improved and how I compare to others. There are a couple of games that are unfair and should be removed, and there are some games that you never play. Also, I lost my streak twice. I have this set to get a reminder at 1, but I never got the reminder. Recently, the percentiles changed drastically. What used to be a 99.9 percentile is a much lower one, like in the 60s and 70s, even if I reach a personal best. How can one score be in the 99.9 percentile and then a personal best on the same game be in the 60th percentile? Either so many new people are playing easier levels and skewing the scores or these percentiles are made up.

Lovely app, stimulates motivation and confidence!. I’m hooked. My kids are hooked. But my kids are messing up my stats! I’m a slightly competitive person- haha. I think families would benefit for being able to quickly switch between players and being able to share stats with each other. Would also be nice to see my stats against everyone, not just my age group. Maybe an explaination or how brains age and what to expect in my results based on that science. For example impulse control vs patience and speed verses accuracy compared to age groups would be interesting.

Addictive!. Since I have been told I have some memory issues, and I’m slowing down, I’ve decided too do something about it! Not only is this game addictive, it’s fun, and I’m constantly challenging myself each day to improve on the skills I was once much better at! It is also a learning game which never hurts to improve upon! It never hurts to improve your memory and learning skills no matter what age….I’ve even let my grandson play, and he didn’t want to stop!🤭! I’ll continue to recommend it to everyone! Thanks for designing a game for everyone!!! ☺️

It’s great but is annoying sometimes. This app is great and I think that it’s really helping my memory and all of that stuff, but I hate how much it wants you to download the premium version. I am actually writing this review so I can unlock the 3rd and 4th game. I can’t even see how good I did over all people in my age range. I also would like if you could change your age on the app. My mom got the app and put in HER age but I mostly play on it and so the app is comparing me to 50 year olds and I am not even 10. Overall the app has a good concept and I think it helps and everything but it needs some improvement.

Decent. The game is great when it works. If you choose to be a limited customer and not pay for the app don’t get your hopes up. It’s supposed to keep up with your daily progress so you can see how you are improving or declining. Every few months it will randomly start you all over like a new player. Your progress scores will cease to increase or decrease unless you delete the app and begin again. I’ve contacted support with no luck. It’s a fun and brain-building game but the support and customer service need a lot of help. It’s progressed now to regardless of how well I do daily, my overall scores decrease. So, I’ll uninstall AGAIN and start all over. I think this is just a way to attempt to force you to pay.

I Play MindPal Every Day. I bought the pro lifetime account so I could have access to all the games and not have to pay any further subscription fees. I use it every day and feel that it is helping my mind to shake out the cobwebs and sharpen my wits. I also like that the stats allow me to see areas where I’m strong and also areas where improvement is needed. For example, my problem areas are memory and flexibility so I play games in those categories a little bit extra each day. I also like that it lets me see stats on how I compare to other MindPal users in my same age group. Keep in mind that the stats are available to paid accounts. A request to the developer would be to know how many users it is comparing us to. For example, seeing that it says I’m X% better is kind of meaningless if I don’t have any idea how many people are being compared. Aside from that, I really like this app and am glad that I got it. Even after playing it 179 days in a row I don’t see myself getting bored with it anytime soon. If you want or need an app to exercise the old bean then I recommend it.

Keeps you interested. I’ve downloaded and deleted quite a few of these types of “brain games”. I knew within 2 minutes of opening each one that they would not keep me interested and they were gone. I knew inside of 30 seconds that there was something a little different about this one. I enjoy completing the tasks it sets out and want to do better each time. As far as brain improvement goes- the jury is still out on that one but I’ll keep playing and we’ll see. I recommend this app tho.

What used to be a great app is now plagued by endless ads. UPDATE: The ad situation is now even worse than before. The new ads are 10-15 seconds long and pop up in between EVERY exercise. It zaps the joy out of what used to be a great app. I’ll consider using the app a little longer and if this trend continues, I will go with Luminosity and other apps that do the same thing. PREVIOUS REVIEW: This app has been and continues to be very enjoyable to keep coming back to every day. However lately the number of ads that keep popping up have become unbearable specially those annoying stationary ads that I am forced to sit there and stare at for five seconds at a time followed by another five seconds of another stationary ad each and every time I navigate away from the app briefly. I was really considering deleting the app today after more than a year of using it every single day. I understand that advertisement is a necessary part of a free app, however once it starts to interfere with the user experience, it takes the joy away from wanting to use the app, and I suspect I’m not the only one who feels that way.

Awesome And Actually Works Well. I’ve only had this app for two days now but I already really like it. I like that it sets a goal of five mind workouts a day but also let’s you do the ones you’ve already done some more. A lot of the time I’m on an app and I feel like I have to keep going but then I look at the clock and I’ve been on it for an hour. This game is different. I can stop after I meet my goal for the day. I also like the quick instructions so you know how to play without having to read a who five paragraphs. It is nice to come home after a long day and just take a quick break and do mind puzzles. The puzzles are also not too hard and not too easy. They also tell you why the correct answer is correct. Lastly, the adds. I realize I’ve only been on it two days but I’ve only seen two adds so far. When I do experience an add it is short and the x appears almost immediately. I have the free version and I feel like the limits are reasonable. There are free games of the week and you can play the ones you’ve done in you mind workouts. I think this game is very great.

Old ladies rock. I’ve been playing this off and on for two+ years. I have a family of Alzheimer’s patients and am doing my best to keep the mind working. I have a grand daughter playing and several friends who are my age and older. One friend is already having memory issues and has actually an appointment on her calendar to play. She is happy if she remembers to look at her calendar. Her husband who is in his 90’s reminds her. Playing is fun but frustrating sometimes as I am a more geometric mind than a language mind. My reading is faster so one of the games I like better. Putting words together from letters is hard for me. But math, shapes and lines are fun. Try this. Some games you can swap which works for me most of the time.

Lock a lot of features, but more detailed than other apps. They do focus on more things about my brain that I actually want to improve than other apps, but they lock a lot of things away for users who pay. Like way too much. After the first day you can only play 3 of the 5 games for daily training, unless you pay or share the app with others every single day, and doing so only unlocks one game, so its only 4/5 of your daily training. Thats literally all I downloaded this app for was to train my brain, its the whole point of the app. Lock away your better games, I really couldn’t care less, but don’t take away the main purpose of the app because I didn’t pay. Just make me watch an ad or something.

Flexible MindPal. I am delighted that I am expert at doing the games I wanted to do when I saw this advertised — one line and dots connect — and disturbed by how stumped I get at word games. Some games I don’t like but I keep doing them because I want my brain to be flexible. Slicer is getting easier. My synesthesia gets in the way of the match game, where I sometimes feel blind, but even that can be conquered if I obsessively play it. Obsessing is easy to do. I am better at the Even Number Smiling face one. Focus on the task at hand. How to you get the speed on that one with the animal faces? Is there a trick? I’ll figure it out, I’m sure. Get this app and improve your brain abilities — but remember to stop playing with it in order to use your flexed mind for other things.

Helpful and quick exercises.. The beauty of this free app, is that 3 challenges can be doable almost everyday. It has helped me some. I don’t think I would ever pay for full, that would take chance out and would also make things too accessible. Make sure to turn on airplane mode to avoid pop ups. The ads overall aren’t terrible, they don’t take me instantly from the app or have long videos. All in all, I do play weekly, sometimes daily. Many brain games reappear often. Playing about 2 months or more, I have yet to encounter at least 4 of the games. If they are pay only access, I am okay never playing them.

This is so fun!. Me and my friend were getting ice cream and I saw her playing this game! I immediately downloaded it and played it right away! I like how when you finish you workout, you can still play all the games you played. It tracks your stats and gets harder as you move along. Also, the games are so fun and help you mind work. The only thing I would change is that after you play for a few days, the 4 and 5 game are locked unless you have the pro version. Otherwise this game is awesome and you should definitely get it.

Fine I guess but not colorblind friendly. If you’re looking for an okay way to pass time and “train” your brain this is an okay games based mental test that will suffice. It isn’t exciting but it is pretty good at what it sets out to do. However if you are colorblind like myself, just pass on it. There are too many games in the collection that involve some kind of color related task. That is why I rank it so low. There are no settings in the app to help adjust the colors on the screen. Because of this I won’t subscribe past my free week introduction and I will delete the app altogether afterwards. I get frustrated being asked to do a task that I could do just fine if it wasn’t color based, but then fail at it because there is no simple accommodation. I shouldn’t fail a simple math question because I can’t tell the difference between red, green and orange or blue and purple.

Enjoying this App.. I really enjoy this app but really dislike the amount of ads it has. I would purchase the pro version but only an annual subscription is available instead of a monthly offer. I would be willing to pay a bit more for a monthly option. Maybe the developers will read this and realize they could be making money offering both annual and monthly purchase options. I enjoy the games. They are challenging and fun. EDIT: I just discovered you can now purchase monthly. $9.99 is a bit pricey for those on budgets but have given 5 stars due to great app and optional subscriptions choices.

Mind Pal. I like this brain Game. I’m in my 60s and When I was in my Mid Thirties I suffer a severe head trauma in which I had to learn most everything all over again and learn different now and nothing is the same as it was but I play these games every day because if you don’t use it you lose it. AlongWith the head injury my mom died from dementia & that scares me, Because there’s a type that can be hereditary.. I heard if you keep your brain busy work with puzzles & other brain games your odds well be lessened of getting it as you get older & older . This is a great way to Keep your brain active it’s also fun

Not your typical brain game. There are a lot of “brain games” out there that promise to help you focus. I have tried several. I really like these. I like that you do not have to subscribe but if you do it is better. I like that the variety. I like that there are fast games, math games, timed games, not timed games, reading games, etc. I like that it does not call you a dummy or something demeaning if you do not ace it. I mean, that is the point. You want to get better over time. It shows you your progress which is great. It does tell you if you have a personal high for a game which is always exciting. But it does not put you down if you struggle with something. And the games are challenging without causing anxiety.

Memory improvement. I have to say this game is really helping me I’ve had the game for maybe 2 weeks and although I haven’t played it every day like I should to get the best results I still know that I’m getting better at remembering things I’m 22 years old and have had memory issues for years and this game after only two weeks has helped me remember things like one of the things it says is a description of the game before u play and it says temporary memory placement in ur brain I guess something like that and I already noticed that I’m remembering stuff that I would normally forget I’m convinced this game is legit

incredible - can't wait to see improvements. I think the stats can be somewhat misleading if you're trying to compare your performance to the average user - remember that mindpal uses the results of other users but the mindpal demographic isn't necessarily representative of the overall population. i think it'd be great to see if mind pal could do a control group test so users can compare their results to the average person's performance, not just other users. Another great touch would be if the app could offer more information on the aspects it measures - like flexibility or speed. if users could have an evaluation of their performance and a quick explanation of what each aspect actually means it'd add a really nice personal touch. this is a great app if you want to train those brain muscles and i can already see myself learning a lot from this as someone with adhd, but i hope they continue improving their scientific measurements and offer more of a personal evaluation for users ! :)

Challenging but so fun!. I look forward to playing these games every day in my free time. There’s some really good ones that when you first look at the directions that are given at the start of a new challenge or game you think oh that will be easy! Only to find out that it’s actually really challenging and fun because it really makes you think and sometimes stumps you. Those are the ones that i always have to play over and over to see how much better I can get each time I play. I’d recommend this app, definitely a step above just the regular app games that can be mindless time wasters, this app is a great way to spend your time, we all want to be as smart as we can and challenge our brains so we are sharp at any age!

Love it, plus a few suggestions. I’m a paid subscriber and I’m really getting my money‘s worth! I use this every day in the morning and I’m tracking my cognitive performance on a regular basis. One thing I would like to request is that you give more information regarding who my stats are being compared with. Are you comparing me with just men my age? And what age range is being used? How many people are l being compared with?It would be nice to be able to select which age groups I could be compared with as well. This would have the benefit of allowing me to assess my relative brain age so to speak. Thanks for a great product!

100% ripoff of Lumosity. I got this app because it said it was free. Of course there is a bait and switch there and the free version is limited. But my real problem with this app is that it is an absolute game for game ripoff of Lumosity, which was the first of its kind, going back to a desktop version, pre-smartphone. I decided to try this one out because it was free and my budget doesn’t allow for many non-necessities right now, such as renewing my Lumosity subscription. I was pretty shocked upon launching this app to see that many of the games aren’t even attempting to be one iota different than the games on lumosity which have been around for more than a decade. Lumosity’s free version has the same limitations and I believe that the premium subscription is cheaper, so for my money, I’ll go with the original, thanks.

Hey guys! 🐨. So I really like this game a lot because it challenges my brain and I really like that. I actually get better every day with these games and even though it’s math and.. (typically it’s not my most favorite subject…) it’s still pretty fun and I just love the little koala it’s SO cute 🥰 🐨. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to go on pro to get more games.. honestly I would like if you did not have to go to pro JUST to unlock 3rd and 4th games… I would like to do a WHOLE workout not half.. so I would really like that. But overall it’s a really good game and I think readers should download this it’s amazing. If you want a fun but challenging game, download this app!

Would Recommend!. This app is really fun. I love how it acts like a bunch of regular games when really it is testing your knowledge. I try to make an effort to play the daily “workout” along with my Duolingo Spanish lesson. MindPal makes it really easy to be consistent with learning, not only because it is user friendly, but also because it’s offline. You can play it on the go whenever you want! I wish the entire concept was free, but it’s not. You have to pay 3rd and 4th games, but I just stick to the other ones. It’s still really fun. I think it would be a perfect game for a toddler or kindergartner to keep them distracted without worrying about them wasting away at their young brains. Thanks, MindPal!

Everything they say. Granted, science still backs the fact that mind sharpening while using an app DOES NOT work. Exercise, sleep and good diet help in developing a sharp mind and increase chances of developing far longer. But that’s not why I paid for this app. I did it to keep myself busy. That said, there’s annoying things that can be improved. Like having to watch a segmented 5 part circle being filled in after each game, showing progress. Even when they give you a button to “skip this” it’s useless in what it skips. Why 3 stars? It’s an okay app. But it is limited in the games offered and the speed and agility you can attain, then it’s just repetitive. On their speed reading, even some of their facts are incorrect when you have to recall an answer after reading at 500 words a minute. But I give it a passing grade in hopes it will be expanded. So far it hasn’t.

Fun and challenging for awhile. Many of the games are fun initially and designed for speed and accuracy, as most are timed. Supposedly “more games” will be added but after several months and moving into “advanced” for my age group, in every category, I wonder when these “new games” will appear. Also, it’s hard to advance in the advance grouping so it’s easy to lose interest. Forty games sounds like a lot, but after a while the same 40 don’t help one to advance and some of them are not enjoyable. I enjoyed the app for the first two months but have since put a stop on my subscription and won’t renew, as there is no incentive if advancing seems unlikely. If more new games appeared after reaching a certain level, maintaining the interest would be higher.

I Love it. But I Also Hate It. I can’t stop playing this game. Initially, I didn’t want to spend the money on it but got tired of looking at ads. (At least I think this game had ads. I’ve tried several. This is the only one I now pay for.) I also got tired of not being able to play the other three tiers in the daily prompt. Then, one day, I was able to unlock one if I followed them in Instagram. (Clever foxes!) And that’s how they got me. So I finally said, Fine! I’ll pay for it for ONE year and cancel if I don’t enjoy it. I’ve given up bathing, eating, brushing my teeth; my kids live in absolute filth and eat candy and chips for their meals. I’ve given up on everything—life—all but this game. OK, I mean, not really, but I do enjoy it and for now it’s well worth the amount I spent on it. Thumbs up.

I’m writing this app to unlock a new level, but what I’m saying I mean. I never leave reviews. Well, that’s an overstatement. I seldom leave reviews and when I do a product is either super terrible or really good. This app is the latter. Most ‘brain game’ apps get lost in the abyss of all my other similar applications and repetitive notifications. But this one I like, the games are fun and challenging. They aren’t monotonous, you get a choice on what game you want to play according to what area you want to work on. Even with the free version. I haven’t purchased the upgrade yet, but I know I will in the future because I believe it’s worth it. I can actually see my improvement in certain areas which makes me want to continue with my progress. The reminders are consistent and non intrusive. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

RB. Wow! What a shock and surprise! I knew that my brain was not as sharp as it used to be but when I saw the initial results I thought “it’s way worse than what I had considered”. So knowing about mind plasticity I KNEW I had to do something or fall into the ranks of senior brains. My scores have gone up wildly and this has seeped over to my life! I did know I was being less flexible, but not to the extreme point that my numbers that I came up with, ugh! So give yourself the gift of a new brain. Ok, the same one, but in way better shape. You, your businesses, your family and your friends will appreciate it! Just do it!

Mind Pal. I thought this was one of those games that are all over the app world that was nothing like what is presented in the apps selling point on the front side. So after getting in and consistently playing it I have noticed a Sufi mite positive side to it in many different aspects of my minds cognitive skills. I enjoy and rather look forward to exercising this app with my mind and miss it some days due to work, and it shows! Plus it keeps track of your progress and abilities strengths and weakness’ It’s fun and challenging at the same time. Didn’t expect it and happily suprise! I highly suggest this app for any body, it’s all positive for me!

Amazing app. I got this app to improve my skills in focus, attention, and language. When I first started this game, I was skeptical about if it would work. I started on an intermediate level, and now I’m advanced after 2 weeks. And it helps in a fun manner! I’m already addicted. Would definitely recommend this! And if you are wondering why you’re getting the same score, yet you’re improving, it’s because it increases its level of difficulty every time. You would know how much if you paid attention. Also, it doesn’t lock you into a one day free trial, it just locks a few games each day. There are a lot of critics who are putting false reviews on here, so I was just telling you the truth.

Actual results. So I’ve downloaded and tested just about every brain game possible as long (as it was mixed category and didn’t focus on one subject that is) and the first to be eliminated were the ones that offered so little options for it to actually be helpful without paying or when trial was up I’ve kept 3 on my phone for over 4 months now this is one of them! The insight it provides gives advice for how to improve the areas that are not your strongest areas it Also shows you where are are compared to others in different points of life. And not to mention the availability without paying a fortune is what makes it all so amazing to me defiantly advise this game

Pay for it...it’s worth it. I have subscribed to several brain training apps over recent years and this one is clearly in the top 3. I note several negative reviews about the free version and I understand the frustration experienced by ads and having limited access. I suggest you pay for the pro version as this app is easy to use and genuinely improves brain function as well as being fun.

AMAZING even the free version. You still get free daily training with the free version. Which is AMAZING !! You have to pay for anything extra. Which is reasonable and would be totally worth it!! This is the only app that I’ve consistently used and haven’t got bored of it!! I’ve enjoyed it so much and it’s VERY fun. It’s the only app of its kind that doesn’t force me to buy the paid/full version and is quite happy for its users to choose which one is convenient and benefits them as long as they’re gaining from the app. It’s about the brain gaining rather than the money gaining for them which I LOVE !!

Good, however.... I love the few games I have however would love the rest of them. Without pro I only have about 5 games and after a while they get quite repetitive which is fine however I feel that the price should be lowered for a monthly subscription or have a permanent pay so you pay once and then have all the games forever, another unlikely solution is that it’s all free. I love the design and fact that you get statistics. Thank you.

Good fun & Good for me; win-win!. Yes this is a great app, I love playing the games and challenging myself again and again. I am only using the free version at the moment to check it out but it’s tempting to upgrade. Even my kids like it and its a game I like them to play as it helps with their development. Definitely recommend this app.

Good app but it glitched for me.. I LOVE this game, I’ve been playing it for so long lately, that I had a 25 day streak. Unfortunately last night after I had dinner I was going to do my daily games ( I have free version), then my phone died. After I charged it, it reset even though I was half way through a game and now I’m back to 1 day. Kinda sad because the steaks is what kept me interested besides the mini games etc, I love this game but I’m just sad that I lost my 25 day streak. 😕

It’s good but needs some improvement. I find that when you are doing the daily workout (as the call it) you can’t do 2 of the levels without the upgraded version. This is very annoying and needs to be changed

Really fun app, the new definitions are annoying. I’m a fan, these games challenge my mind but are fun rather than feeling like it’s trying too hard to be educational. I like challenging myself to better my scores. The new bit where all the is really annoying, it has a ‘tap to skip’ but it rarely works. Any chance this could be an option I can turn off?

Awesome!. Ok! So! First of all, I think that MindPal is a really awesome app to use to help increase your brain power. It’s really fun, and I think that soon, I will be able to increase my memory and brain functioning. However, I have one problem. I’m 10 turning 11 in a few days, and the youngest age choice is 13. I think that all ages should be able to use this app without having to lie about their age, and that there should be a choice for if you would like a easy puzzle, medium, or hard. Overall, this is a really great app and I definitely recommend it!

Love it. I downloaded the game today and I really like it because I struggle with math and English so I thought it would be good to find ways to help myself and this app is really helping me with accomplishing that goal of mine to get better at subjects I struggle with. I was wondering would this app be able help people with disabilities or learning difficulty’s could there be a section on that please specifically for them it would mean a lot

Absolutely Amazing. Mind pal is an amazing app and I highly recommend even with the free version of it I have recommended it to my nan and now all her friends play it. I have recommended the app to many others and they love it it’s a great app to help with general things like your memory and reading speed and much more. Again I highly recommend the app because it has multiple options and features but also choices and it’s an app made to fit your needs and standards.

Daily chance to engage brain. Daily reminder to think and put the brain in gear. The puzzles are just slightly beyond my reach which challenges me to try harder. I sometimes play the accessible games for the week in my spare time. Some games just don’t seem to get my brain to work out but I keep trying. I am now at the point where there is not a lot of room to go higher which makes the game even harder. Lots of scope to dredge out my maths and physics skills as well as word knowledge. The only tiny frustration is the American spelling vs. Australian spelling in word games. I would like to better understand the difference with PRO but so far I have enjoyed it.

Amazing but... This game is super fun and most of it is free. The only thing is that when you first download the app- nothing is blocked (except your games other than your daily exercise) however as the days go by, more and more things will be restricted like the 3rd and 4th game as well as (thankfully only a few) ads. You can still do most stuff in the free version including updating your daily streak (even without the 3rd or 4th game) and even play an ALWAYS free sudoku block game

Amazing. This app really helped me because every day it reminded me to challenge my brain and it was really helpful but the only reason I gave it a four star is because after a few days of doing it there were games we had to get pro for and do things to play one game but overall is is a really good game I would recommend

Great but…. This app is spectacular, I use it everyday but there is just one thing that I don’t like. The pro version is really expensive, and I can’t get it so because of that a lot of things are locked, that can only be accessed on pro. Other than that this app is great. There are barely any adds and the games are fun. I always feel proud when ever I beat my high score. My final rating is 4 stars

Fun but not all games are unlocked !. Fun and interactive brain games. Whilst the first session let's you explore all the games in the session it stops after this unless you want to pay and upgrade to a Pro version or unless you promote the app on other social media etc. Or write a review and get an extra game which I'm doing now. Why can't it just be fun for all without needing to ' do this and that ' to be able to enjoy all features.

Brain Improver. Great little brain trainer. Fun to play and shows your progress in each game and overall. The only thing I think could be better is that in some of the exercises, when you make a mistake, the game skips to the next board and you don’t get to see where you went wrong. Some do show you and some don’t. It only needs to show for a second or two but sometimes I’m left wondering.

Fun but packed with ads. This is a good fun app but I doubt I’ll keep it long due to the number of ads that pop up. The developers are clearly making enough money off the in app advertising given the number of them and then want $100 for the app. Don’t think so. It’s a good time waster but I would be paying their wanted price for it… even when it is on a 50% saving. They’d get more sales from a cheaper price.

MindPal: koala cute & terrific games. I don’t know how much I benefit from the games increasing the grey matter between my ears. At 51 I have noticed that I walk into a room & cannot quickly recall what I went in there for. Not to panic - I firmly believe that lack of attention is the culprit as much as any other ageing myth. These games are quick, a bit intense and challenging. I don’t pay for the pro version. I appreciate the simple tasks required to market the game to the wider audience via my vast social media reaches and I am rewarded with a satisfying level of the pro version. MindPal. Gotcha some.

Daily must. A wonderful little app that gets your brain working again. I love the variety of puzzles, word and maths teasers. I look forward to my daily session. It’s fun, takes up very little time, it has a great visual quality and I like the way it presents your scores. So easy to see your improvements.

Five stars, definitely recommend. This app is absolutely fantastic. I have been using it for over a week now and I can see an improvement in my communication skills, my focus ability, and many more things. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking to improve the sharpness of their mind. Five stars, definitely recommend

Believe it or not but I have OCD, ADHD and anxiety! This is a good app. This app helps me get through tough ADHD attacks and slows my brain down! If you are thinking about getting this DO! Also just letting you know there is a VIP pass that lets you access every game BUT you can access like more than half of them without the VIP as well! So…well done to whoever made this app you are amazing ❤️🥰 Think of MindPal as a brain gym in your pocket. MindPal provides you with a personal daily program that adjusts over time to maximize results. Enjoy a variety of games that challenge critical cognitive skills such as memory, attention, language, math, and more. The difficulty of the games adapts to your level, to ensure you are constantly challenged. Track your performance as you play, and get in-depth insights about your brain.

Great!. This app is so fun! As you get to challenge yourself and see your results compared to others, only for a little while though it compares your results and others in the free version. I t has a few different challenges in the free version and you have to pay for the “Pro” version to unlock more games. I would like to see different games daily from the “Pro” version put into the free...if you know what I mean.? Overall Great!

Highly Recommend. This game is awesome it makes me feel like my brain is still functioning and it actually improves your memory, focus, etc. For me there aren’t that many ads so there’s no bad things about this app, I highly recommended it to anyone who can take about 5 minutes out of their day to play this app.

Surprisingly good!. Simple fun games, some play to my strengths & others challenge me & get the grey matter working in a different way. I used the free version but used it every day so decided to upgrade, and I love the flexibility & variety of the games. The free version is great with the option to do tasks to unlock games, & I like how each game explains what it tests/trains. Now with the paid version I t’s really interesting to see what things I’m good at, how my stats have improved & what I need to work on. It does really feel like I’m sharper, and the brain is a bit more elastic. The only game I’ve ever paid money for & I strongly recommend.

One of the best.. I have tried many Brain Games in the past. This one is best suited to me. It’s easy to understand, games are not complicated, nice graphics, it’s a pleasure to play each day which encourages me to challenge myself daily. Well worth the money upgrading. I like to see how I am progressing. Would recommend.

Excellent games but marketing is too aggressive. The games are fun and creative, and mostly challenging. The vocabulary section is a bit dodgy, with occasional informal words, and is a bit too easy. But all the memory, maths and spatial games are terrific. My main issue is that despite relentless in-app advertisements, the free version of the app is still cutting off significant functionality and applying frequent pressure and inducements to users to up their ante. To rate higher, this app needs to offer more for free.

Great fun. Good value. I had the free version in my phone for a while and decided to buy a one year subscription. It’s been great. Because of Apple’s family sharing my wife can play too. There’s lots of quick games, that only take a couple of minutes to play. Really good for keeping your mind active. It’s my go-to app now when I have any time to spare rather than scrolling mindlessly through social media apps. I feel like it’s exercise for my brain.

It’s good but some improvments. It is very helpful and you should get and I have been using it every day but sometimes when you press something or swipe it says you did it incorrectly or you did not press so you should get it and use and I use it everyday but remember that sometimes it does not register or says you did something else (it has only happened to me in the swipe the cube game)

Great Game - would definitely recommend!. Overall, great (brain) game! The activities are really fun and engaging, and it even shows your scores for various subjects. You can pick what areas you want to improve in, so you can really focus on different areas. In the new version, it shows your status and scores over all games! The levels adjust to your scores and skill level. There are also very few to no adds, which makes the experience even more enjoyable! The results are truly amazing! Definitely 5 star rating, and I would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent!. The app functions really well, which is always a bonus. I had the free version and only used it occasionally but recently I have upgraded to the pro version. I am concerned that I am not utilising my brain to its fullest as I age b/c we all tend to avoid things that require more effort. This app gently exercises a lot of different brain capabilities and provides an easy way of seeing progress or where you might need to do more work. I have recommended it to my 84yo mum …

Not enough options. Sadly this is a fun game. But there is no way to purchase an ad free version unless you buy the pro version. Which is expensive for a monthly or yearly fee. It’s $119 for a one time lifetime subscription but who know how long it’ll be around and if updates will continue to happen to spend that kinda money. Needs to be more levels of in app purchases. Or a way to play limited my without always being asked to purchase. Example, played today and was only allowed access to 3 of the 5 games/ trainers/ lvls bc the other two were locked by the pro account. Seriously? Just let me play with what’s already unlocked. Fun game, and well thought out. sad I won’t be keeping it.

I like it!. Very good app. Games are challenging and with the pro option you can compare your results with other users which gives a bit of a challenge within yourself. Also tracks your progress. Free version is good too with a lot of options to chose from

Here what you need to know. It is so awesome you get new mind games everyday and you can try again when you think you did bad or you just like that exercise. You can also try after the five exercises you can play the games you just got over and over and over again and it is really fun and awesome and I just love the game you should totally get it right now 😀😀bye👋

Good app but there are too many adds. MindPal is a great idea and the games are fun. But in the free version you can only play three games a day and are constantly being asked to get the pro version. Along with that adds pop up after each game which is infuriating, I also don’t see many benefits in getting the pro version apart from being able to play all the games and get the full work out. If only they made the free version a little better. But it is a great app flaws aside, the games are fun and being able to see how you are in different brain areas is really helpful.

Brilliant!. I’m a keen bridge player so problem solving should be high for me, which it is. This is the best game I’ve ever played for neuro plasticity development. It is just brilliant. I’ve paid for the full game because a. I enjoy it so much, b. I feel the developers deserve to be rewarded for their efforts and c. If I get so much enjoyment and benefit, then why not but it? Personal choice to be sure but it was my birthday present to myself.

This is a game about not being perfect right? Very controversial!. This game is about improvement. For this, you need to be able to MAKE MISTAKES AND FIX THEM. In the hex puzzle free game, there is no, restart this level or undo this piece. Instead, you have to COMPLETELY restart and lose your score. Wow. So much for, you can learn from mistakes. Now it’s, BE PERFECT ALL THE TIME OTHERWISE YOU ARE A SUCKY LOSER! I really thought this game would have one of these but as usual App Store disappoints. Try to put some effort in it this time. Unlike every other game in App Store.

A GOOD GAME. My mother got me this game and it is the BEST EVER. It helps your brain to get stronger and smarter. My favourite games are all of them but the only thing is I wish that the 3rd and 4th games were unlocked because of two things: one is that I do not have Facebook because I am a child 👧🏽and two my mother does not let me get pro. Apart from that it is the best game ever BYE!!

love it ✨✨. this game ACTUALLY makes learning fun and incorporates learning into my day really well, I only have the free version yet I still feel like I’m doing things, I also like how even in the free version they give you chances and opportunities to experience new games and games that would originally be locked in the free version.

Fun and mind bending. It’s a nice distraction in the day to do the tasks. I only have the free version but after the third day the 5 games drop down to just 3 and you are prompted to upgrade to the paid version. Fair enough… but maybe entice people with 10 days free then ask. Just feels like a bit of a trick. Games are fun and not overly ‘Mensa-ish!

its a really good app 😊. I really like this app but when i play the games it just keeps giving me the same games over and over again so i never get to try any new ones there are like at least 10 games that i haven't played yet probably more because the free ones are always the same and you have to get the pro version to play all of the other games so please make the free games different from time to time because they are getting boring because i have to play them over and over again 🙄

Family sharing keeps failing. I purchased mindpal pro and under family sharing rules my wife can use it. However she has had to purchase her pro version first and then i had to ask apple to arrange a refund. This cycle keeps happening at every update and is very disappointing. My wife has had to purchase and then a refund 3 times now and each time she loses her profile info and stats. I don’t recommend this to anyone until mindpal fixes this issue. Unfortunately they have ignored emails and provided no support todate, hence the poor review

✨amazing!✨. it’s absolutely amazing and even though there’s a pro version and u can’t do much with the fee version, they give you chances and opportunities like if u want to play one of the frames in the workout that are locked but you only have the free version, thy still give u this thing and u can share it on fb or messages or twits or write a review and that’s what i’m doing right now but it’s rly good TRUST ME. I have a lot of these types of games because of my anxiety and this is the best and most generous so far! Sure the pro version cost a lot of money and it’s pretty useless but they give u an offer for everything! So good, i recommend and the game is free anyways

Great way to exercise your brain. This is a great way to see how effective your brain is comparing to your own age group. Practice and re-laying the games you can measure your improvement. I like that is a one off cost and not having the game ask for more funds during games...so it’s very cost effective and challenging. Love it! Out of all the games l love the memory games no literacy. I send thanks to the developments teams!

Love it, Love it, Love it. Great quick game with lots of variety to sharpen the mind. There is a Pro version and the price is pretty high but I play the free games and find it is enough. I get some extra games by sharing on my socials, or providing a review. I’ve recommended it to friends and many of them are now playing it too.

2nd review. I reviewed this app last year when I upgraded to the subscription. I play everyday but am finding the same games pop up day after day, while some games I never ever get on my daily workout. As I said before I know I can play these games but they don’t count for my daily tally. Also I keep seeing “ look out for new games”, one year on no new games. I like the app but am reconsidering keeping my subscription if there are no new games coming along.

Tricked into subscription. while I emailed the developer inside the trial period looking for assistance as to how to ensure it would not auto renew I never got a response The advise the app gives it to turn off auto renew in account settings - no option exists and no direction given of where exactly to go Subscription then auto renews for 1 year - they have a weekly subscription option but they apply 1 year subscription to fool people into larger payments. Untrustworthy when developers do this - tricking people out of their money. NOT HAPPY !!

Brilliant. Very well designed app with excellent, challenging games which I find better than other app games available. Sadly the free version doesn’t allow you to activate too many levels and if you want to take full advantage it looks like you have to take up a subscription. The only down side.

A great game for the mind. I have enjoyed playing this game for 105 days straight now! It’s a really good brain training exercise. I took advantage of a 50% discount offer and bought the lifetime version. I am getting a little tired of doing the same games, so I hope that some new challenges are introduced over time.

Amazing games. I have had such amazing fun playing this new game I downloaded called MindPal. MindPal is a game to test your knowledge in many subjects such as maths, English and reading. MindPal also has many fun games to do like spelling bee, wordless and sudoko blocks. I really recommend that you download MindPal and experience the joy, fun and excitement of playing MindPal.

Great games. I have played just about every brain training app on iOS and this one definitely stacks up with the best. I have only used the free version but unlike some of the others it lets you Acess 1 out of the 2 locked mini games each day through completing tasks like sending a link to your friends or following on Twitter. Slightly cheeky? Maybe but I’d prefer to do something that really takes no time or bother and unlock the extra game than pay a ridiculous amount like some of the other top brain training games on iOS. This game has a lot of similar style games to the big apps like peak or elevate but with some fresh style games thrown in. Definitely worth the download if you’re looking to brain train.

Wish it was free. Like the games a lot but annoyed that it’s another app you have to pay for if you want the full experience :(

Excellent. Love this app

Fun but expensive. You can still play the games without upgrading but it is a nuisance. I’d be interested in upgrading if it wasn’t so expensive

Cute & fun. Just enough to not waste a lot of time…

soo funn. aswomeee love itt

Amazing!. Love it

Great game. Great skill testing game

Daily. I appreciate my free challenges daily

Good games. Debating on buying the full version

Enjoying this app. This app only takes a small amount of time!

Memory and focus improving!. Great!

Great Game. I’ve seen a lot of games like this where the premium unlocks pretty essential parts of the game. This one only locks two of the 5 games you get everyday. It’s got great instructions and great games. 10/5 stars.

nice. alr game

Val. I enjoy the game it really makes me think. I recommend this game to anyone who want to sharpen their minds.

Good but not great. It’s a really good game but I just don’t like that you need the pro version for some games and I always get so many notifications but other than that it’s a great game

Awesome games!. I love all the games in mindpal!

Great, Fun Game. Lots of interesting and fun challenges. Really enjoy it!

Good review. Good App

Love it!. Challenging

Feedback +. Such a Good Game ! it helps to increase your concentration , ability on how to solve a problem! Very interesting.

Best game ever helped me improve so much. I loved it. It help

Stuf. Very fun helps me learn ever day and I improved so much

Unsubscribe. How do I unsubscribe. I keep paying and there is no option to stop membership in settings.

good game but only worth it if you get pro version. get to play the games but then after a few days you can only play 3 unless u get pro or watch ads

Very good for having higher grades in school. The app makes everything easier at school

Pretty good. Pretty good overall, but after a bit you have to watch ads to be able to play the 4th game and you still won’t be able to play the 3rd game.

Good game. Good game fun to play

Good Options in the Free Version. I’m happy with the variety of available challenges in the free version.

Good for puzzle lovers. I like different aspects of this game it is challenging

⚠️ALERT⚠️. This app is not for kids under 13!

Great app. I like the word games that is included in this app.

Horrible. It’s not a free game also can not try it with out entering cc info. Makes its free trial not free liars. Price would be decent but never going to buy an app or enter cc info unless I like the app.

Game is very good. I love this game

How i like MindPal. It helped me a lot for my homework

Amazing. I love it!

Okay. Wish the 3rd and 4th games weren’t locked every day.

Too many ads. I’ve been playing for awhile and it was great! Loved seeing my progress and where I needed improvement. Now I’m bombarded with ads, multiple through each level, annoying as most are video ads you cannot close right away

Good game. It was awesome at the start, but after a few workouts you only had the option to play three games or watch a video to play the forth and if you want to play all of them you have to pay, which is hard when you don’t have money to spare.

Great for mind enhancement. Love these games and the daily variety!

MindPal. The games are great. I don’t like that you can not play all the games daily for free.

Love this game!. Writing this review so they unlock my game lol

MindPal. Good game

Rewarding Relaxation. This is my favourite go to everyday to relax and unwind as well as challenge myself and see my progress over time. I highly recommend MindPal.

Good app. Pretty good application. Some quizzes aren’t well explained.

Required review. Love the different games.

Great app!. Makes brain training fun and friendly. Highly recommend!

Challenge. Lots of variety in the challenges. Many parts of your brain exercised. Quick test each day.

I’m only 10. I like this game but it is kinda hard but it’s fun. I got higher than 99% on something for 13-15 yrs old and I’m only ten. I guess that means I’m smart

A Quick Cutoff. I get two days of being able to play all games, and then 2 are locked after that? No thanks.

Fun. Fun

Fun games!. This app is the tiger mom I never had. I can do the puzzles with 100% accuracy but it will be sure to tell me what percentage of people were able to do it faster and better than me. This, of course, piques my competitive nature as well as my unhealthy need to never feel dumb. So, now I’m playing ALL the time. To add insult to injury, a Koala, who is (presumably) too dumb to know eucalyptus is still worth eating even if it’s not on a tree and infected with chlamydia, relays this soul crushing data to me. Five stars. Highly recommend.

Pretty good. MindPal is a good game to get your brain working and ready. But in the daily workout when it skips games if your not paying it’s kinda annoying because you want to do all 5 but you really only do 3, which is sad. It also has “locked games” which is also random, I know they just need to make money tho. Otherwise I really like this game and that is why it has 5 stars. If your not sure about this game this rating says get it.👍

Fun!. These games are fun but really make you think. The original assessment is overly encouraging but then it feels a more accurate reflection of whether you do well at any one of the particular games. You will find some types will be harder for you. That's what makes me think that the results are meaningful. After a few days the free version only allows you to play 3 games per day unless you pay for the premium version. I haven't paid but still enjoy the games that I am allowed to play but that is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Lots of fun but…. Can’t play 3rd and 4th games each day without a subscription but not willing to pay 9.99/month. Always said I would buy if it was a one time cost. It looks like they finally did but but give me a break, $75?? You must have tons of people who pay if this is where you landed with your pricing structure. I would pay but not buying a subscription and not paying over $40 for a one time cost. Might quit playing soon as I play every day and rarely do the interesting games get thrown in and there are some I've never even been given to play. Really unfortunate because it's a lot of fun.

*shrug* 🤷‍♀️. The games are really enjoyable and the workouts are a good balance of everything, but the lengths the app goes to basically force you to pay are kinda dumb. For the first couple days I was able to complete a workout and see my statistics in comparison with everyone else, but now I can’t do either of those things or play the game do I want after I’m done with the workout. If you’re going to restrict just about EVERYTHING, don’t have a free version, it’s really not worth it.

Great intuitive brain games. I love challenging myself for just a few minutes a day. The instructions are clear and you get to see if you improve over time. It breaks down the games into certain skill sets so you can practice by playing games that cater to where you are lacking. The free versions still gives plenty of games and challenges to train your brain daily.

Please read!🤍. I love this app so much, it makes me feel better about going to school and really just makes you smarter! The only thing I don’t like about this app is the “pro version “ you can’t get everything unlocked unless you pay. I don’t think this is reasonable because this app is supposed to improve your intelligence, and I think if I had a goal such as unlocking things I would be more interested and I would focus more.

Great App to test several skills. This app is great. I love the daily test of skills. I had an idea of the skills I would be better at and no so good at. It’s shocking the disparity in my problem solving and memory. I guess I’ve created a baseline for my poor memory skills. I’ll be able to tell if it starts to slip. I love the challenge of keeping a streak going. I’ve been up to 60 days a few times, but being on vacation has tripped me up every time. Worth the small charge!!!!

Amazing game. This is a great game to play because I can train my brain in a fun way. There are adds which is understanding but they are not very long. I can improve my brain without even realizing it. It is a great way to learn and I can take a few minutes out of my bay to get better and better. This is a great app that has helped me with focus and math and attention, you probably don’t realize this but it has helped me with my everyday life and this is one of my favorite apps. GET THIS APP

Its okay.. just a few things. Its okay overall, great games and everything but unless you have the pro version (which is kind of expensive) the only things you can do is do 3 (maybe 4 if you do whatever it wants you to to do it like share the app or something) games snd check how well you did that day and you can only replay the same games over and over without pro version you can’t play new games, but it is a pretty good game beside that and even without pro there are no ads.

Too many ads. This is good mental training, but recently the developer significantly increased the number of ads in free version, to the degree where it became almost unusable - the new ad pops up every 2 seconds nonstop, you can’t even look at your own results. As for the actual exercises, the biggest drawback is that the score does not reflect their difficulty, so in some exercises your score depends not so much on your performance as on your luck to get simple tasks - and the tasks the game offers do differ greatly on random basis. This is especially pronounced in “dots connect” and “word connect” - the time to figure out 5-letter word is drastically different from 4-letter.

Great app!. I downloaded this app on a lark, thinking I’d try it out but not expecting too much. I haven’t upgraded to the pro version yet but am considering it. The “games” are stimulating and fun, and there seems to be no end to their variety. Dementia runs in my family so I try to exercise my mind in as many ways as I can on a daily basis. If you find reminders helpful, the app will send one daily. They always seem to come during my daily run, which is a little annoying. That’s about the only negative thing I can say about this app. It’s great!

Pay to play. I want to play the game but I really get annoyed that it lets you play all five rounds for about 3 days then all of the sudden I end up writing a review so I can keep playing... I think it would much more fun without the ads... if you need to tell people to follow you on Instagram to keep playing you should just deleted the game. People don’t want to be forced to follow you just so they can play... if you want more people to follow or share your game you might as well remove the ads so you can play the whole five games.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Gets Repetitive-But Fun. Been using MindPal for awhile now and it started out really fun, however, it does lose it’s appeal after some time. Like other games the ads don’t match the games, so don’t be fooled by ads. You begin to play the same games and when you play a new one, you can’t remember how to play it. There are some games that I really love and others that I do not care for. They added a new Sudoku Block game, which is a fun new challenge. Overall the game can lose it’s flavor after some time, but the games are still fun and enough to play from time-to-time to pass the time.

More predatory “free app” BS. Like so many others, the free version of this is not a feasible option. It’s a preview. After day 1, the game starts pestering you to upgrade to Pro at a rather expensive price. Time locked progression, entirely locked games, and obnoxious 30 sec. unskippable ads with sound. If you feel like imposing on several friends you can momentarily get the Pro version for free. I’m fine paying for apps. Hard work goes into developing them and this is actually a good one. But they should just be upfront about being a paid app and not give you an irritating, borderline aggressive version and pitch it as free. I would have bought this for a reasonable price, but after 3 days of annoyance with the free version they’ve spent my patience. Uninstalling.

Time well spent!. I wish that I could get everyone that I know to understand the benefits of such applications like this one. As a human being I feel that in order to exist successfully one needs a place for (the) Mind. A guide, or Pal if you will. Time well spent. Thank you for letting me play , I greatly appreciate the work & creation of applications like this one. I’m going to share this application like if it’s free healthcare!

Great Brain App. I was looking for apps for my 79 year old mom. She needs some games that keep her brain sharp. — instead of always watching tv. And lately reading, which was her love — just puts her to sleep. Anyways this app is fun & varied and helps her to keep as sharp as she has always been! My only request is to somehow make the app - pro version ( for pay) available for free for those aging with limited income.

I wish there was no pro version. I love this app but it’s so annoying when I have to get pro version 44th and third pieces of the circle it kind of annoys me because I have to pay watch all the time so I would take off A pro version so people can enjoy it by their self at home and make it a free game because it is literally annoying me soooo Much so I would take that off that way people can enjoy it freely without any annoyance and have a free time to just train your brain and be better people but it’s still a good game.😩

Awesome. I love that you can have fun and play math games at the same time. I would really recommend that you play this to get your brain stronger. I have learned a lot more from this app in just a few days. I have had a lot of fun on this app, and have made it one of my favorite apps. The game is awesome and I love it very much. I am thankful for this app that I can test how strong my brain is and make it stronger. Again, very recommended.

Disappointed. My husband and I both downloaded this app to do together every night. The first two nights were great because you got to see percentage wise how are you rated compared to other people in your age bracket. After the second day that disappears as do two of the five games that you play every day. Of course you can get those if you upgrade to their very expensive all inclusive program. It’s a shame because we do enjoy playing the games each night, it only takes about 10 minutes and if we’re exercising our brains that’s an added incentive

Amazing app. This app is amazing! I love how it changes out all the brain activities everyday, and how you can swap them. I also love how there are weekly games you can play anytime. Highly recommended. If you’re a fan of Wordle, they have a link to it. Not complaining about the adds. They are very short and tolerable. They also have links to other good products as well. Thank you for taking time to read this review.

Great app overall. I love this game it’s a great game if you want to get better at a certain subject. I really thought no you should get it if you are for example struggling with math or something then you should get this app! The only Bad thing that I have to say for this app is that the lowest age that you can go for Is 13 but other than that it’s a great app and you should download it — Also thanks for taking time out of your day to read this review!!!

A fun little brain workout. Having watched two of my grandparents’ decline in their mental capabilities as they reached their 70’s and 80’s, I have determined to take steps to slow or even prevent my own decline. Downloading this app was just one of those steps. The games are fun, simple, and don’t take up a lot of time. The app helps reveals the strengths and weaknesses in your cognitive abilities, and makes it fun to work on areas that might need a little sharpening.

Fun at first. At first it was kind of fun but they only let you play 5 games a day(unless, of course, you purchase premium or whatever). You can replay them but for that day you can’t play any other games. After the first day, they only let you 3 for free. They don’t let you see how you scored against other people unless you pay, either. And the games (more like mini games) aren’t even that fun either! They don’t give you the fun ones for free. Then there are a bunch of ads. What they do is give you a little sample the first day and the rest of the time it’s not fun. All they want is for you to get the premium. I already deleted it and I recommend you don’t get it/delete it too.

Good app. Some flaws.. I downloaded MindPal because I wanted to train my autistic brain, and admittedly, it’s pretty good. It really helps with training my brain, though the only problem is that the third and fourth lessons are always locked unless you get the Pro version. I don’t see why it’s necessary to lock two stages out unless you have Pro. Sure, you could lock a few games generally, but not two levels. Still, I’d recommend this game to someone who’d like to train their brain.

Great app but a few complaints. This app has so many fun games and has helped train my brain so I highly recommend you download this app. However, here are my complaint: 1. Some instructions for the game are unclear and wordy. 2. Too many ads, I played for less than 10 minutes and got more than 7 ads. 3. A lot is limited for premium or pro users which irks me a little but not too much. Overall, phenomenal app but you should change these things. Thank you MindPal!

Good, but.... This is actually a very nice app. All the games are fun and engaging, and the visuals are also great. The one problem I have: You can hardly call it a free app. Beyond the first day, everything besides three daily games and a few weekly games is locked. Goodbye, playing your favorite game constantly. All the comparison features are locked too. The amount of ads is just annoying. If you really want to enjoy the app, you’ll have to pay for the Pro version. If not for that, I would play this game a lot more.

it good. it vary good (misspelled on purpose) the game is good and helps me with many things and even has an alarm time for you to train your brain! And it barely has adds. it even shows you how much you have improved and your performance stats and what you should work on to get the percentage higher. I didn’t rate it 5 stars cause i don’t know what else is very good as i have been playing this game for a few days. So yea, if you want to train your brain or get smarter than everybody you know (like what I’m trying to do) that you should get this app!

MindPal. I really enjoy playing this up but I also like to know that it is helping me advance some of my skills such as my reading skills because there not very great and I definitely recommend this to people who wish to make there skills great, and thank you creator or creators for making any app that will not only help you improve your skills but in a fun way. One think if I may recommend creator or creators is for the timed games is to possibly make it a little bit longer because some people like myself rush and panic when timed, it puts us under pressure and thank once more.

Addicting. I just started playing this game and I love it. It is fun and challenging. Each time you play , you want to play more. I have been playing for free and the ads have been very limited, they don’t pop up every minute like other games and the ads are not very long, I can tell you I do get tired of looking at ads and have deleted games in the past because of it. I have not decided if I want to purchase a subscription.

Be ready to pay. I think it’s a good game, fun and knowledgeable. I think that out of all the games that there is on the app, there should be more than one game per section that you are allowed to play on the free version. There are probably 30+ games on the app and a person that pops for the free version (because time are tough right now!!) only gets the opportunity to play 6 of them each day. Not really enough to entice me daily. To know I will just be really getting into the game, only to have it abruptly come to an end.

Great, except for some bad answers. I really like this app — enough that I paid for an annual subscription — but some of the answers in the language-related games are pretty dubious. The worst so far — bad enough that I’m writing a review to note it — is in the “Synonyms” game, where it identified “weather” and “climate” as synonyms. 🤦‍♀️ Could we not further that misunderstanding, please? This app is supposed to help you use your brain better, not make you one of those people who goes around saying, “It’s snowing, so I don’t see what all the fuss is about climate change!”

I like it but…. So, this app is pretty cool. I like trying to keep my streak going everyday! But…I just wish that you could still play the 4th and 5th games without having to upgrade to pro, or maybe just have a different alternative for the locked games maybe?! One of the things I do like about it is the positivity! Every time you finish a workout the little koala guy pops out (I guess he’s the mascot or something) and smiles and winks at you, really keeps you going! This is my review for MindPal. :)

Exercise for my aging brain. I having been trying this app and so far I am pleased in the variations offered by the different games, that give my aging brain a good workout. Some of my abilities are rusty and it remains to be seen if this app is able to bring in some improvements. Nevertheless I am having fun, and I need to be consistent in using this app every day. For those who enjoy puzzles and riddles, this game challenges various task of the brain including memory, speed, coordination, calculation and strategy.

Disappointed app purchaser. ***POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE*** After the first day of using the app, I decided to buy the annual premium package! But the app shortly had glitches and then dropped me into the age group 13-15 (I was in the age group 25-29, I don’t want to be compared to teens) and my stats were wiped and messed up. Luckily, despite having purchased the game, I was still in my seven day trial period so I could cancel the upcoming payment. I have emailed the support team multiple times for assistance to fix my account but I have not gotten any response. I’d like to return to the game and update my rating if someone can reach out to me to fix my issues.

App tries to trap you into upgrading to paid version.. The first 2 - 3 days I had this app were great! I did a 5-game brain workout and got to see how my score compared to others! But after that, I was only able to play 3 games in a workout and no longer able to see a score comparison unless I chose to upgrade to Pro or helped advertise the app on social media. The concept of the app is good, but I don't appreciate being baited and then told I need to pay to get what I expected in the first place. So, download this app for some limited mental exercise, but don't expect much unless you're willing to pay for the upgraded version.

Faking improvement/One day free trial. It’s probably true that the app is forcing you to use different parts of your brain, but the app generates a false sense of improvement by providing you a slowly increasing score even if you perform the same way. I started off with a score of 17k in one of the games and proceeded to continue playing one of the levels I thought was fun. To my surprise, i found I proceeded to double my score in a matter of 30 minutes through several play throughs. Even when I did much worse than I should have I still scored much higher than my first play. Maybe the app is seriously ingenious and doubles your IQ in a matter of days or maybe the whole “training your brain” is a sham who knows. All I know is on the second day the app proceeds to lock the next game forcing me to buy the subscription if I want to play keep playing other games... I guess thats the end of my free trial. In conclusion, I’d say its a fun game but just as one of those apps you download and play for a day before forgetting about it.

Great games!. I can feel my brain working hard and getting sharper. I would much rather spend time on this app than instagram or twitter. I wish it was all free, but I understand why it’s not. I’m just glad I don’t have to watch a million annoying ads to get to the free games. Yes, there are ads, but you can usually close out of them pretty quickly and they promote more puzzle solving games.

Entertaining and sometimes challenging. You get 3 different games (5 in pro) each day that supposedly help build thinking skills. Most often they test your thumb speed typing on the phone. But they are short enough, and if they explain the rules, they are entertaining enough to spend a few minutes each day playing. Sometimes how to play the game is left to the user as trial and error.

Love this. I’ve tried a few different brain training apps and this is the best so far. The games are fun and get more challenging as you progress. I’ve always sucked at math and couldn’t do a sudoku to save my life, but I finished the NYT sudoku puzzle today, (granted, it was the easy setting, but still…) and I’m sure it’s because I’ve been doing the visual sudoku puzzle on this app. I feel like this is actually waking my brain up. I’m all in on Mind Pal. I hope they continue to create new games!

Great Mind Stimulating App!!!!. I have only used this app twice and I already love it!!! For one, it lets me go through all the workouts unlike limosity and another. I really enjoy these workouts. Thank you for this wonderful app!!! I wonder if it has the coffee game from lumosity. It is similar to another app but I appreciate being able to do 5 choices instead of 3. I also like the train game from lumosity too! Most brain games don't hold my attention for long but I might stick with this one!!!

Cool game. I was just playing games on my phone and then I came across an ad that looked interesting I decided to download it and oh boy was it the best decision I’ve ever made this game is just too addictive and can’t stop playing it but the one thing is I don’t like having to do stuff JUST to play the games I mean I get it but at least make one out the two locked games in the daily games available. Other than that it’s an awesome mind game!

Pretty nice!. So when I got MindPal I thought it was gonna be boring but it’s was actually pretty fun! It’s needs some changes though, maybe the hints don’t take as much points or whatever you wanna call them but overall it’s really good! I definitely recommend this for parents who are looking for early education. Or just for young kids. And nothing really costs money so that’s cool! And there aren’t many adds ( I don’t think there is any ) so if your a parent looking for a safe app this is the way to go!

Part of my mental routine. I heard about it, played once, and bought a lifetime subscription then and there. Love the fact it’s just a 5-7 minute commitment, love the variety of games, and truly love the stat keeping! Great to see the progress and improvement as one becomes familiar with the many different challenges. I doubt I’ll get bored, as I did with Wordle, because there are twenty-something rotating games each day.

Cool Games But…. I use this app daily and enjoy the challenges but there are glitches that can be quite annoying and distracting. The daily games listed are often not the games you play when you hit “Start Workout” so when you complete them, the next day it says “You lost your streak.” The Box game glitches a lot on the left swipe so it defaults you when you’ve got it right. These games require focus but stuff like that just throws me off. I’ve hit 99.9% on number of games and there seems to be nothing beyond that. Wonder what’s next? Still a fun app to play with.

I love it but yeah like the other girl I hate it. So I like it but yeah the ads are to much just a tip to the app owners so basically most people buy a game or app that they need right or just for fun I bought this game for Fun right but when people see it has those premium stuff they sometimes end up getting rid of it then you loose more people then the app or game barely gets used at all then you loose money or ratings then it’s turns out to not be a success anymore so yeah

Helpful, but repetitive and lacking basic features. The app has been helpful with recovery from long covid brain fog and cognitive issues; however it is frustrating when a long streak is lost simply because an unexpected life occurrence (such as travel, illness, or death in the family) prevents you from completing a daily task. There should be a streak freeze option, similar to what DuoLingo offers customers to help when these occasional days pop up. Also it feels like false advertising every time I see an advert for the app showing games that simply do not exist. Either develop the games shown or stop using them in your promotions.

The Best. This really is the best of All the brain trainers in the App Store, and I have tried them all. The games are both engaging and challenging. Perfect for a break time refresh and refocus. Totally enjoying this game! Will be watching out for the next generation from this developer! Well worth the money, I would buy this app at twice it current price and would still think it was worth it!

Not bad. I’ve only played for a few weeks on and off. It seems like a lot of other games and activities I’ve played before are all in one place, which is nice. I really like how it gives a full diagnostic report of how you do in different areas on a scale of intermediate to advanced. I don’t love the only having access to 3/5 of the brain games AND having to suffer through the same cringe-worthy ads after every single game. I would prefer it were one or the other. Though the methods of getting the upgrade are interesting (referrals instead of paying a monthly fee or a large sum). It would be nice to see more original games as well.

Enjoy the app, not the ads. I like this app and the way it reminds me to take a few min each day just to exercise my brain in new ways. I would have given the app 5 stars last week, but suddenly the ability to view how you ranked among other players is a “pro version” only perk. What’s worse, the “pro” plans they offer are not even offered at a price I would consider paying for an app of this nature. Want $10 for a year? I’ll happily fork that over so I can have all features. Anything more and it’s not worth it to me.
