What is teuida learn korean & japanese app? Learn Korean and Japanese by speaking from the start!
Practice speaking essential expressions in first-person POV scenarios.

===========

• "But I can just learn Korean and Japanese by watching Kdrama and anime!?”

Just like if you were learning how to swim, you’d go into a pool instead of watching videos of Michael Phelps swimming. You can't learn Korean and Japanese by listening to BTS or anime OST! Don't get us wrong, we too love listening to Kpop and watching anime. But if your goal is to ACTUALLY SPEAK, you have to, well – SPEAK! TEUIDA's first-person POV conversations will get you speaking everyday expressions in real-life scenarios.

• 3 min > 30 min

We believe that 3 minutes of actual speaking will help you more than 30 minutes watching someone else speak (long lecture videos).
Why waste your precious time learning about Korean and Japanese when you can learn by speaking it yourself? Our interactive lessons not only get you to speak with the tutors but gives instant feedback on your pronunciation.

• Overcome fear of speaking

Research shows that one of the greatest barriers to speaking a language is confidence. After all, what's the point of knowing all the grammar rules and verb conjugations if you can't speak when the moment comes? TEUIDA helps you overcome fear of speaking by simulating real-life scenarios but without all the social anxiety. (i.e. Our characters won't throw shade at you for mispronouncing!)

===========

Here’s a list of things that make TEUIDA different:

• Essential expressions:

No more weird, awkward phrases (translated by bots) that no one actually use in real life. (Let's be honest, when was the last time you had to say "I am a boy, you are a woman" in real-life?)

• Effective curriculum:

Once you master our curriculum, you will be able to know the basic vocabularies, grammars and of course, speak to your friends in Korean and Japanese.

• Taught by Bilingual Tutors:

Our crazy selection of fully bilingual tutors not only speak Korean and Japanese but understand where you’re coming from. They know exactly what to teach you because they've been in your shoes!

• AI Pronunciation Analysis:

What's the point of repeating sentences aloud if you can't tell whether you're pronouncing it right? TEUIDA has a convenient voice recognition system that will give instant feedback on your pronunciation.

• Fun, Interactive Stories:

We believe that learning and fun are not mutually exclusive. In fact, learning is most effective when it's fun! You'll find yourself laughing, screaming and at times even cringing with the characters.

• Real-life Scenarios:

Real-life everyday situations! Everything from ordering a drink at the cafe to asking for directions!

• Culture-specific tips:

A wise man once said that "the person who learns language without learning culture risks becoming a fluent fool". We believe understanding culture is the key to learning language. So we hand-selected each scenario to reflect the culture-specific elements of Korea and Japan.

• Friendly community:

We have a community where Korean and Japanese learners are eager to help each other and share helpful tips about language learning!
So... what are you waiting for? Stop reading and start speaking with TEUIDA!

TEUIDA Learn Korean & Japanese Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

I’m so impressed!. So I know most who want to learn Korean were probably inspired by the Kpop wave that has happened over the years. The fact that we can gain perspective into a normal Korean conversation (with an idol no less) is so unique and exciting in my personal experience with language apps. I really feel like I’ve learned a lot in the first lesson alone and, most importantly, retained that information. I think it is because they’re not only teaching us the grammar, spelling, and pronunciation, but also the meaning of these phrases as well. The visuals are a helpful plus. It’s really a lot of fun and well thought out, even the regular translators speak very clearly to the student (hak-saeng!). I hope those who are using this app learn to not only appreciate the language but the culture and people as well. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested.

Good App. I really like learning so many words and about manner but I feel like it needs work. For instance, whenever there are lessons (eg: Unit 3) you only get one key per day which is really frustrating since you can only pick one. I think you should get at least 2 keys per day so it'll be easier to fly through the lessons and know what you're getting into for the reviews and quizzes. Having more than one key would also help with doing shorts rather than picking one or the other. Another suggestion; I think you should add a test so you get to know where a person is at in Japanese or Korean instead of expecting them to know how to read, speak, or understand those languages. Other than that I really like how you can communicate with people and look at the scenarios and be able to speak it.

BEST THING EVER. This app is amazing! The fact that they come in a different than most learning apps for languages, is awesome!! I have a reading disability, and this is perfect for me. I’m much more of a hands-on learner, but when it comes to languages, that’s always hard. But this makes it feel like you truly are just talking to a friend, and learning from them, the repetition keeps it in my mind and it’s such a friendly place to be. I’m so happy that I got this and it is definitely worth the money, when it gives you a great feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction when you do get it down. The conversations that you get to have through the app are also such a neat thing that I’ve never seen before. I just love it it’s so friendly and fun, I will give it 10 stars.

So great!. I tried the free trial, and loved it so much I’m going to subscribe right after I leave this review. Not for a total beginner (know your alphabet and how to pronounce it) but great for learning basic grammar and checking your pronunciation, especially if you’re embarrassed to talk to friends or a tutor yet. I am all of those things, haha. I love how they break down each word, pronounce it, show the Hangul, and explain the sentence structure. And they voice recognition software is really good! Not 100% but I’m sure will get there. Already it’s better than Siri 😂. I’ve already learned so much. I need it for work, but plenty of Kpop content here for those of you interested in that (I am too, admittedly). Can’t wait to see where they develop this app. They also asked for my feedback in a survey, so they are all about improving. And their real-life conversation scenarios are so helpful to get over that fear of speaking. 5 stars!!

This app is great, accessibility is my only issue. I love the app! The interactive learning is genius and works very well, with layout and design also being very well done, but the study key function bugs me a bit for how long you have to wait. Personally I think you shouldn’t have to wait like 20 hours just to be able to do a lesson, and I find it very strange the key function is not able to be unlocked with ads like a lot of mobile apps do. The time limit on study keys also bugs me for the fact if you want to do a lesson, you may have to wait a certain time just to do your lesson, which I find defeats the purposes of streaks because of how easily you can mess up your streak just by not having enough real world time. Assuming the study key resets every 24 hours and you do your lesson at like 4 am you have to wake up at that time to do the lesson so you don’t lose your streak, it just doesn’t seem reasonable and something like maybe a 4 hour cool down would make more sense to me. Other than that the app is great and I often find myself accidentally replying to the tutor when not supposed to because it genuinely works that well. Happy new years ٩(^‿^)۶!!!

Good, but not great for non-beginners. I’ve been studying Japanese for about a year now, but because I’m mostly self-taught, I don’t get the chance to speak much. I’m going to Japan in a few months for exchange so I downloaded Teuida to help with my speaking. My pronunciation is fine (had my host sister check me on this) but I struggle with saying things normally or simply speaking at a normal pace, and I want to be able to speak faster. Teuida has given me a lot of opportunities to speak and taught me some useful everyday phrases I didn’t learn in my textbook, but I find the voice recognition could use some work. I often have to exaggerate my words to get a correct answer, even though I know that’s not how words would normally be spoken! I want to speak normally! I think for a beginner this would be less of an issue as they have barely spoken the language but I’m trying to establish fluency. Please fix this🙏🙏

Using this to learn Japanese. I really like it especially compared to other apps! It emphasizes a style of learning that leans a lot further towards how our minds actually learn other languages rather than rote memorization (although there’s still plenty of vocab) than most other apps. It’s format allows for a communicative and encouraging style, which is really good for language learning. I only wish there was more language options so I could recommend it to more people lol. I’d also encourage anyone using this to not use it by itself, as I think personally driven exposure to a language (like playing a game in the language your learning or listening to conversations or practicing putting words together) is extremely important.

I love it. I have tried so many apps and when i did it was tiring and hard to learn because they were doing it so bad and fast this is great for step By step learning I love it because it not only teaches you about how to say a word it teaches about the culture and how to pronounce it. Another reason I like it is because it takes things slow and you can try again and actual people are teaching you this. Lastly some to most apps get the language and how to speak a word and the words to a language wrong because they don’t know it themselves they just want money with this app it doesn’t do that it is right on point with the translation and is correct with the words. This app is really good wish I could give it a 50/5 but ya’ll just need to try it and tell your friends and family to if they want to learn and been looking don’t walk run.

I love this!!!. I have pretty bad ADHD and Dyslexia, in school I could never pass my language classes because books don’t work for me. In this app, it shows you the exact pronunciation and lets you retry over and over, breaks down the words, shows you where the words would be swapped in English, puts you in real life scenarios where you MUST say the phrase right to pass the lesson (it lights up the words you get right and wrong in multiple colors so you can see what you need to work on)-though you can back out of it and go back later. it teaches full-daily phrases instead of random words, and gives hints if needed, you can go back through what you learned and retry them until you get the phrases perfect-I even started going back to test how fast I can say the phrases once I know them off the top of my head. I love this app! I’ve learned and practiced more in 2 days than I did in 4 years of language at school. And I love that if you’re confident enough, you can keep going. Though they do warn you not to cram so you can get the current phrases down to a T and properly learn at a steady pace.

It’s only been a day, but this app is great. I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for like ever but most apps make you pay I’m just a teenager and I do not work yet or own my own card so even though I might not get to do multiple lessons a Day since I don’t have premium I feel like it’s really worth it still because you get to do one lesson a day and I heard that practicing every day and immersing yourself with a language is very helpful and it’s not only Japanese it’s Korean and I think Spanish I’m not as interested in those languages but if you are go ahead download this app it’s not just textbook either. It’s real life conversations, and situations you’ll be in so I believe you should download it especially if you’re in my boat where you can’t pay in app purchases for more lessons because I think it doesn’t stop you can continue going until you finish the entire app like for example lingo dear I was trying to learn Japanese but you can only do two lessons in that app and then once that’s over and then you have to pay for premium. I understand that teaching others a language is quite difficult but I don’t have that luxury of that type of money, so this app is just amazing

A little bit of a cash grab. I understand it's hard to make such a high quality app without having users pay for it, but $60 a year is a little much in my opinion. And it only gives you the first lesson of each chapter for free. However, if you're able to spend the money I do think this is a really nice app that teaches more conversational korean rather than other apps that just teach vocabulary. It's nice to have the interactive videos as well! It's good quality but just a little pricey. Duolingo is free. One critique on the setup/interface is you kind of have to speak slowly and over pronounce some words or else it won't be able to catch what you're saying. If you speak more like a native it doesn't recognize your speech as well and will ask you to repeat.

It’s great but…... TEUIDA really has helped me learn quite a lot, my pronunciation has improved a bit over the past couple weeks, but here is why it’s a little weird. There is only one key, so you can only do one lesson for the day, not one in Korean and one in Japanese, just one overall, if you do use a key, it’s over for the day, nothing else, and the stories aren’t free either, so you would have to give up a lesson to play them. It gets annoying, because I want to practice what I learned by using the stories, but I can’t, because I’ve used my key for a lesson. The stories shouldn’t also need a key, or we should get more then just one key per day for a lesson. It’s really hard to try and improve myself more if I’m being restricted so much. I hope that helps, I would recommend this to people, but not without a warning. Overall, the app should be a bit better for everyone, so it’s good for people who aren’t willing to buy it, or can’t afford to keep paying.

Good overall, with room for improvement. After using this app for a while I really enjoy it! I like that it explains certain cultural differences and talks about each word and how they fit in the sentence. For me specifically, this app feels less like learning the language and being forced to remember something that isn’t reviewed enough to stick. You cannot go back through what you’ve learned and practice the things you really want to work on. I wish it had a sort of “flash card” practice option. I leave the app not feeling like a lot of the information, especially longer phrases and vocab, has stuck at all. It’s especially disappointing considering how much effort the developers clearly put into this app that I cannot use it to my full potential. I don’t want to have to remember the word for “german” or how the sentence is formulated exactly after about 3 tries. I want an option for more meaningful review that you can just sit with for a while instead of having only 3 chances to memorize certain words. It’s clear how much love was put into this app, and I find it truly fun and helpful for base learning, even without proper review options.

Great app! Needs updates though. Hi I absolutely love, love, LOVE the idea and concept of this app! I love to follow K-Pop (BTS) and K-Drama so I’ve wanted to learn Korean only problem is in America it can be hard to find Korean classes plus they are expensive and all the apps I have found on iOS to learn Korean is Hangul based teaching you vowels and constants and so on when all I want to learn is conversation skills to speak Korean not necessarily write it so I love how on here I am forced to speak it and the content is more conversation based only thing bad I have to say is it needs updates because it glitches on my phone pretty bad I get to the part where I have to repeat the word or phrase no matter how loud I say it, it acts like it didn’t hear me then finally tells me whether I said it right or wrong or somewhere in between then after that the app kicks me out don’t know if anyone else has had that problem but yeah other than that LOVE where this is going!

Really great app, just needs a little adjustment. This app is a really innovative example for language learning! I love the first person perspective to immerse you in the situation. It mimics realistic conversations and offers in-context speaking practice. This is really helpful to prepare you for real life experiences. With all of that said, I do have a suggestion. As someone who can read 한글 easily, I appreciated the option to turn off romanization by selecting intermediate level. However, this only turns romanization off for the speaking captions and it still remains on the flashcards and video text. Seeing the romanization written below the 한글 bothers me because I feel like it distracts me, messes with my comprehension speed, and prevents me from improving my Korean reading fluency. I believe most people who use this app are devoted to learning Korean and will know how to read 한글 from their outside studies, therefore romanization should not be embedded into all lessons. That’s my request! Overall it’s a wonderful app, thank you so much for creating it!

Helpful, but limited. So far, this app is very helpful! I like that it takes you through pronunciation step by step and that it repeats it. I enjoy that it includes multiple examples for each thing as well, rather than just saying “I am (name),” it also includes “I am a student.” There is one thing that I do not particularly enjoy, I wish there was more things for the people using the free version. I understand why they have more on premium, but it is very upsetting to learn that there is only one lesson available for free users. There is no other review besides that one lesson, which is not super helpful to some users. Overall this app is very good and helpful and it has a lot of potential. I would love to see some more free content added and maybe a game or two for review and memorization, rather than just mini quizzes and the active response videos. Keep up the good work, can’t see what the future holds for this app!! :)

Great with premium. I already enjoyed the app without paying for it but after paying I find it priceless. Definitely shouldn’t be the sole way to learn Korean, you’ll need to have outside lessons on grammar and sentence structures and stuff but in regards to hammering in vocab and using the grammar you’ve learned in real life applications it’s fantastic! The review is so well made, it brings up things from past lessons and really makes you think about what you’re saying instead of just memorizing. They have you use words and phrasings in new ways with each review so you get used to not just memorizing an entire phrase. The interactive elements kinda provide a pressure free way for you to experiment with intonation and emotion in your voice without feeling silly. Very short lessons allow for shorter attention spans to still commit to learning daily. I’m an intermediate Korean learner and this is a vital part of my study curriculum.

Awesome app for Korean!. Overall this app is fenomenal. I think that when learning any new language it is important to focus on pronunciation as well as grammar and sentence structure. I am a native English speaker who also speaks Spanish, and when living in a Spanish speaking country it is kind of embarrassing hearing foreign travelers trying to speak Spanish with an accent that is clearly not from here. When learning languages pronunciation is key, TEUIDA is an amazing app for practicing tone, intonation, and helping learners to sound less awkward while in conversation. 5/5 stars, I haven’t had any issues with this app yet and I am looking forward to new improvements and features! I would 100% recommend this app to anyone who is interested in learning more about Korean language and converse.

I love speaking and the daily log in. Hello, this is telling about why I love this app so much and why I enjoy speaking Japanese. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese language and culture. The unique blend of tradition and modernity has captivated me from a young age. Japanese is a beautiful language, and I find great joy in learning and practicing it. Living in a multicultural world, I believe it is important to embrace different languages and customs. By immersing myself in the Japanese language, I can gain a deeper understanding of its people, history, and way of life. It opens up a whole new world of opportunities, both personally and professionally. One of the reasons I love this app is because it provides a platform to connect with native Japanese speakers. Through conversations with them, I can improve my language skills and learn about their culture firsthand. It's an enriching experience that goes beyond textbooks and language courses. Moreover, this app allows me to meet fellow language enthusiasts who share the same passion for Japanese. We exchange tips, resources, and engage in language exchange sessions. It's amazing how a simple conversation can bridge cultural gaps and create lasting connections. With this app, I can also access a plethora of learning materials, such as grammar guides, vocabulary lists, and interactive exercises. The app's

A couple of things.... Ok so I’m gonna give some real conservative criticism here for this app. First of all I think this is a beautiful app. It’s so well constructed and unique. The teachers are great and the videos are really engaging. With that being said I noticed some inconsistencies in the ui. When I complete a lesson there is no green check mark. I have to close the app and reopen it to get the check mark to show up. Also at the part where the teacher gives a quiz, they ask “how do you say....?” and there is a fill-in-the-blank box, under that box sometimes there’s romanization under it, sometimes Hangul, sometimes English. Why does it keep changing? Why is this not consistent across the app? And more importantly why is the answer shown on screen when it’s supposed to be a quiz??? I really wish the answer wasn’t there so I could actually test myself. Also, I’m sorry but I think that at this time there is too little content to justify the price. The levels are really quick to finish. You can finish everything that’s available in one or two days. I feel like you should have waited until the app was full of content to release it or to start charging so much. I’ll check back later when there’s more chapters available. And please.. add a placement test at the beginning so I know what level to start at. Not everyone needs to start at level 1.

Really good app but. Last time it didn’t let me speak but I decided to not delete the app just yet and wait a few weeks so maybe the developer(s) can fix the issue, and it work again! Although there is some voice recognition problem but if you speak a bit slower it works. Overall it a really good app! I hope there won’t be anymore problem in the future. Ok, this is an update a year later from the review above. I think this is a great app for beginners, where the units are, it teaches really well, it force me to remember the grammar structure and make a sentence. the stories are good but the one that I get to speak on, are the rlly easy ones. So yes it a great app for beginner but once u pass that beginner phase it no longer helpful… the story are actually pretty boring bc everything is so easy it doesn’t help me improve. But that’s just me, I’m just sharing from my experience.

This is so easy and fun!. When I first downloaded this app I thought that it would be like school all over again but I wanted to learn a new language so then I realized that this game makes it soooo easy to learn Japanese or Korean . It doesn’t beat you up with hard words or sentences or anything like that. It breaks up the words into different situations and I love that because it is like you are having a conversation with someone. Also they tell you how you can use those words in a sentence. What I love most about this app is that it has a community center where people post stuff about Japanese sentences and how you can improve! I wish every learning game was like this these people make it so easy and fun to learn 👏Japanese 👏download 👏it 👏NOW👏

Love the app!!. I’m relatively new to learning Korean but this app is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to speaking coherent sentences and checking your pronunciation. Whenever I learn languages, I am always too nervous to speak but this app helps with that so much, especially since speaking a language is probably the best way to practice and retain things. However, the only thing I had a problem with while using the app was that sometimes it won’t pick up what I say or it will say I’m wrong before I even say anything at all. Just recently, I had an experience where it took a minute or more just to tell me if I said a portion of a phrase correctly. I closed the app a couple of times and still had the problem, I even deleted and re downloaded the app and it still was acting the same way. Also, sometimes the app would force close on its own. Hoping there will be an update to fix this and I will try again tomorrow. The app is great overall, I’d just say there’s a few technical issues to fix!!

Too fast. At first I was really learning like how to say hello or thank you or what my name is I even taught my 3 year old sister. But after 2 lessons it started saying to learn how to say way to much at once such as “my job is ___” and then like 11 other things at once which I knew NOTHING about it just gave me flash cards and I didn’t wanna lose my streak either I ended up getting a F I didn’t know anything abt it then come to find out the video AFTER told me how to say job but was still to much I didn’t know and had to learn on my own and in the practice with he flash cards it only gives u one chance and again I didn’t even know how to say any of them besides job now but at the beginning it was perfect then it went too fast trying to get me to say things that I was mostly guessing. It would be a lot better if there was a slower pacing lessons for some people.

Great but there are some things to think on.. This app is great but its if you want to learn CERTAIN phrases. But i think the app should cover more than just saying phrases. I think it should also help us learn sentence formations. Such as how usually in speaking Korean the verb comes last in the sentence. (I think). Also it should help us enunciate words. Korean words have sounds that English has never used before. Like for example, one of the lessons it teaches you to say how old you are, [seu-mul-da-seot] [sal] [i-e-yo]. The “sal-i” part was very hard for me to do because i didn’t know whether to roll an “r” or to pronounce the “l” thickly. I don’t know if that makes sense. I think it should help us learn different ways of saying something as well. Ive paid for the 12 month deal. And I’m glad i did. I’m excited to use the app and learn Korean. I think there are just a few a things to keep in mind, 1.) i think the lessons should include various ways to say a phrase, 2.) i think the app should help in teaching us sentence formations (maybe even hangul!! I would pay extra for that) 3.) i think the app should help teach us how to enunciate! That would be really helpful!

this is pretty cool. I just started using this app today, so idk if I’ll give ALL the info needed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. For someone like me who’s more into hands on learning, the whole talking back and forth thing is way better for me. Other language apps don’t have this feature and I usually find it annoying that I’m not experiencing conversations with native speakers and then when I am faced with a native speaker say in an online chat game, I end up getting nervous and I stutter and my sentences don’t make much sense since my mind runs at unfathomable speeds when I speak. But on TEUIDA it feels like I’m having a little facetime call with a friend, making it feel more natural. I recommend this to those who also have the same problem. :3

Most practical app. So far I’m only on day one, so I don’t have a full scope of the app, but so far so good! If your goal and learning Japanese is to learn the written language well, I would suggest renshuu, but if you’re just trying to speak it, not necessarily read it, then this is literally the perfect app. I like how even with the premium, it doesn’t withhold like majority of the lesson like other apps- the keys act as a point system that allows you to go through the whole course but it also leaves like an insensitive for you to want to get premium. Other apps premium give you an incentive to delete it 💀. Also I like that there’s a yearly plan that encourages you to speak out loud because that actually helps you remember when you say stuff aloud that also helps you learn with pronunciation and I think it’s set up pretty well. 10/10.

The bug seems fixed!. I’ll leave my original review below, but now I am happy to report that the serious problem of the forever “unstable network connection” seems to have been resolved. I really love and enjoy the concept of this app, and hope it does well! Giving it 5 stars! I just found this app and was thinking of getting a subscription for both me and my sister if it was good, but it won’t load and just keeps saying “unstable network connection,” which isn’t true. Hopefully this is a simple bug that will be fixed soon so I can try it out before I get a different gift for my sister for Christmas. It looks like it will be a super fun way to learn Korean and Japanese. Edit: I’ve gotten it to work and tried it out, and I like it, but often it does still say “unstable network connection.” Nothing else does this, but maybe it’s more sensitive to any changes. 🤷‍♀️ I’m going to try it out for a couple days and see how it goes.

So far so good.. I have been trying to learn Japanese for almost a year now, I am currently taking a class in school and before that I was using Duolingo, the only thing with Duolingo is that the Japanese class doesn’t have a speaking option. This has made it difficult for me to pronounce Japanese words and phrases and I’m getting told to redo the speaking assignments in my Japanese class. So I think this will really help me out it seems to cover a lot and I’m thinking about purchasing the premium version so I’m not limited for lessons. That’s the only part of the app that I don’t like that much, I wish I was able to do more then just 1 lesson a day. I think it would be a good idea to add more lessons per day where you can earn study keys if you go back and redo lessons and you get keys rewarded through that.

Don’t sleep on this app!!. As someone who grew up speaking Korean with my grandmother, I’ve often been told that while I have the vernacular of a 60-year-old, I have the speaking skills of a six-year-old. I’ve downloaded several apps to help improve my Korean over the years, but this one is by far the best for learning how to put it all together in conversation. Even though I’m familiar with much of the basics, I’m loving the individual breakdowns of each phrase that shines some light on the meanings of each word, which I hadn’t known before. The units are short yet thorough (Visiting the Countryside had me emotional 😭), and the conversations are super engaging and really give you insights into the mannerisms and flow of putting your skills into practice. The voice analysis is spot on, and the summary page is helpful to isolate the various phrases you use in the shorts (as well as pinpoint which ones to keep working on). I’m so excited to keep brushing up on my Korean and sprinkle a few new phrases into my next conversation with my grandmother - and eventually hold a full-fledged conversation with other Koreans next time I visit! Thank you TEUIDA team for developing this brilliant app ♥️

Love it but one problem. Hey I love this app cuz I want to learn Korean and they make it so it’s easier and funner to learn Korean but there’s just one problem when I’m playing and I have to watch an ad the age rating is more at a 17 or a 12 then a four year old rate I mean I just got done with a lesson then I see I add of a girl and a boy have sex!!! Plz can you put the age rate at 12 or 17 or just put more appropriate adds on there I sorry I know I sound like a Karen right now but I 10 and I don’t want to see that stuff I don’t think you cant even change the adds that go on this app but pls if you cant change the age rate if you can make your adds kid friendly then plz do so but if you really want to learn this amazing language then do so cuz this app does a great job teaching you!!! ~???????

Amazing there is just one issue…. To start off, this app is amazing. I love how interactive it is with the speaking and how the tutors are so clear with their pronunciation. I wrote down many phrases in my notebook and go over them many times a day and I’ve gotten so much better! Yes, I rated it 5 stars.. However, I can’t really move on due to having to pay for other parts of the units. I would definitely pay but I’m just not in the position to as of right now. I understand the hard work each and everyone puts in this app’s development and improvement, and I’m glad. I just would rather not pay, which goes for any app! But.. overall, this app has great scenarios and situations that are more likely to happen. It’s kind of like a story, which I love :)

GLITCHING!!!. Someone PLSSSS help!!! There was a new update where u can save ur plant streak or smth. I wasn’t even able to read the full thing on the app and it just glitches!! I go into the app and go through all the tabs; home, stories, profile, but when I get the the community page, it freezes….it doesn’t let me go to any other tab. So I think I just need to go into the app store and update from there (yea…yea that’ll DEFINITELY work…I hope). Well, it doesn’t. It does the same thing that it did before the update. So now I just completely SHUT DOWN my device. I let it sit for about 2-5mins. I go into the app, and can u guess what happened??? IT DOES THE SAME DANG THINGGGG😡😡 I really wanted to read the update message from Nelson…TEUDIA! PLS HELPPPPPPPPPP

So amazing, but maybe add a unit test.. 안녕하세요. This app has been so helpful and amazing to me. It’s helped me build confidence in speaking and memorizing. The one thing I might say though is that it would be very helpful if you could add a unit test that covered everything in the unit. Because when I want to review how to order at a restaurant or talk about plans I have to go through the entire lesson. I understand that you would probably go like. 뭐? Why can’t they just find the lesson wouldn’t that be easier. The other helpful thing with adding unit tests is that I could also review every thing I covered. Lastly, I understand that everyone at Teuida has been working very hard on all this and that it takes a long time to film everything. I love this app and hope you guys will keep succeeding and make great lessons. 감사합니다. 안녕하세요.

Best language app. Period.. I love languages and Korean is one language that I have truly been wanting to master and I’ve tried Duolingo which normally I do feel does a decent job but I was really struggling with Korean. This app had a great commercial so I decided to go ahead and give this one a try. And oh my goodness, I wish this app taught every language! it truly does teach in the most natural immersive way, and it teaches conversationally, and in ways that makes sense and stick in your mind …it is the easiest and fastest way I have ever absorbed and retained a language, and I am absolutely in love!!! I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn Korean or Japanese and if they ever do this with other languages, I recommend it for those oo! lol truly a magnificently done app and I could not be more thankful for the creators!!

Amazing App!!!. I absolutely love this app!! I always have a hard time speaking a new language and if I try to find someone to speak it with it’s so incredibly awkward, so this app is the perfect solution!! It also explains the phrases really well and breaks down the pronunciation, as well as explain the meaning. Duolingo has speaking activities for Korean, however its noooo where near as good as this app. Plus, this app is designed for speaking and has actual Korean people pronouncing the words, so it’s so much easier to understand. If you have the money to, I would definitely recommend upgrading. I think it’s 100% worth it and once I start a lesson I want to keep doing more! Thank you to the developers for making such an amazing app!! It’s extremely helpful and such an amazing resource for learning Korean!! 💜

Amazing app, but…. As a beginner in Japanese I found this app and decided to give it a try. First thing, I really LOVE the fact that it starts off with the most used words of any language (Hello and thank you). Second, I love that you need to speak it to pass and it’s not writing the characters/placing to make a word. Third, the app is easy to use and there’s no difficult navigation for where you should start or where something is. But, there is two things I don’t like. First, I feel the keys are a bit hard to get because you have to wait for 5-ish hours to get the next key and I wish there was a free way to get some more (like watching ads). Last thing is that sometimes even though I’m saying it correctly it doesn’t say it’s right. Now I admit, this probably is a me problem (I might be too quiet sometimes or I really am not pronouncing it correctly). But, besides those I think this app is amazing! ありがとうございます。🫶

Memorization. The app is overall really well, but, unless its just a personal issue for me, i find remembering what ive been taught rather complicated. From what im perceiving, you learn very new topics per day. Not that this is a bad thing, but i dont feel that you get enough time to let the information sink in. Everyday is one entirely different lesson. Yes, maybe there will be a word you‘ve already learned thrown into the lesson, but thats just about it. This personally isnt very helpful. It feels like you have to go based on memorization rather than…well…whatever isnt that. Also, at the end of the unit tests, i find it complicated to pass them. i cant fully remember all of what ive learned in the beginning of the unit, mostly just what ive learned towards the end. I keep hitting the small speaker button to listen to what im supposed to say, but cant quite pick up on it. I end up stuck on the tests sometimes. This happens during lessons too. Is this a problem other users have aswell, or just me?

amazing !!. I love that this app starts with speaking and video conversations rather than learning Hangul. I hated learning new languages knowing pronunciation, reading, writing, but not being able to speak or understand fully. This app has rly helped me to learn fast and I’ve barely joined!! I’ve been learning on this app everyday with a smile on my face being able to conversate in Korean without feeling awkward or scared like I would in a call with a real person. Instead I can comfortably speak with a video without the worry of messing up. I really recommend to use this app. It also has different options when you sign up for subtitles— Korean, Romanization, and English — Korean and English — or just Korean. This is very helpful when learning, like me I can read and write in Korean so I like to use Korean and English subtitles so I can practice more reading and understanding Hangul. I also really like the streak feature as it motivates me to come back everyday to keep learning, seeing the streak go up every day you visit the app.

Good App!!. I really like how you speak korean in the all because that forces you to remember certain phrases. the mini lessons also help me remember words. i just wish you didn’t need premium to unlock everything because some of us can’t afford. other than that, amazing app!! edit: i didn’t know how to reach out to you guys but here’s my idea to make it more affordable!! :) my idea is that you can provide coins as a reward. for example if you get maybe an A+ on a quiz then you get 3 coins. you can cash these coins in for another lesson (maybe each lesson can be 15 coins.) not only will it help you to get a lesson but it will motivate you to get more coins (and ultimately do better on quizzes) to get those coins. there could also be alternative ways you can get the coins such as watching maybe a part of a kpop music video or kdrama episode and you would have to use your korean to translate what they said. (given that most kpop and kdrama fans want to learn korean so they want have to use subtitles like me 😂) maybe you guys could also incorporate a “unit test” maybe and you get a bonus 10 coins? or you could complete weekly/daily objectives and get coins as awards. and to keep customers engaged you can have a starter pack for new users that includes 50 coins. i hope you can look into some of these ideas. thanks for being amazing Teudia!! Keep going!! 화이팅! 감사합니다 😊

User Friendly. While I study with a number of other resources, Teuida is a resource I would think others would find very digestible. The lessons jump right into conversational things like introductions and basic greetings. So, you may need to find another resource to cover the absolute basics like 한글 (Hangeul), but that is up to how thorough or the Korean language you want to explore. Basic conversation is still very much a valuable lesson given here, so I don’t have many negative things to say. The app implementing speech answers is very effective, as it makes the user step out of their comfort zone with speech and pronunciation. Overall, I’ve enjoyed the lessons I’ve explored thus far. Access to more lessons would be amazing, but I understand the marketing aspect of it. I don’t think a paid membership would be a waste, if you have the means to afford it.

Easy and helpful. I really love this app! I can tell that the developers really care about this app. I am half Korean and I have already studied Korean for over 8 years in a Korean cultural school. However, I’m still not fluent as most of the school focus was on culture and arts instead of language. I am already okay at Korean but I have trouble remembering certain words. However this app helps me a lot with this. There are so many lessons and levels. I’ve never seen an app like this where you can talk in real life scenarios this way. It’s great and I would recommend this to any beginners, as I recognized most of these and will definitely be helpful to others. My only suggestions are to add more breaks to speak in the video as there isn’t really that much speaking points in it compared to how many video there is. But that’s it, this app is amazing and I love how in touch the developers are to improve this app. I hope that there are more apps like this one for different languages like Japanese!

Thank you.. I’ve had TEUIDA for a little over a month now, and I remember doing the first lesson and really liking it. But was a little disappointed when I found out I needed to become a premium member to have access to the other lessons, so I just stopped using the app, but never deleted it. Recently, my Korean girlfriend and I started planning the day we could finally meet. So, I had checked the app again and I believe it updated because I was able to have access to the other lessons by watching ads and being patient until the other lessons finally unlocked. But, I still felt a little sad, because the lessons are short, which I like, and I kept wanting to learn more. Although I know I was able to go over other lessons, it was still a little frustrating having to wait so long or having to watch an ad for a 2 minute lesson. Eventually, I ended up paying because I know it will benefit me in the long run. I paid for 3 months, because it was more doable for me. And in just 2 days, I was able to learn more than I have with other Korean learning apps. I really hope I can learn enough Korean to be able to speak comfortably with her. So, a big thank you to the TEUIDA team for this amazing app, I look forward to studying hard and learning many new things.

Good, but can use some work.. I’m not a beginner in Korean so my personal experience may be different. I enjoy this app for the style in which it teaches. I am someone who studied but is afraid to speak in person at times. I lost all my confidence when I stopped taking a class in person and my friend moved back to Korea. However I think I can regain my confidence again using this app. The stories and lessons are done as if you are actually speaking to someone and when they don’t quite understand you then just ask you to repeat it and it. I do think the vocal recognition could use some work, I find myself speaking in a more exaggerated tone at times or over enunciating which has not been my experience when speaking with someone who is Korean, at those times I feel like Peggy hill. With a bit of work on vocal recognition I think I this app changes the way people learn and practice speaking and reading korean. I appreciate that in the lessons when responding in Korean they put the phrase in English only so I have to think about the lesson I just learned and apply it, but in the stories they have the response in both Hangul and English so I can practice reading as well as understanding my response at the same time. I think the stories are well done at being both realistic as well as a bit dramatized to keep me engaged.

Just what I needed. I have been learning Korean on and off for about a year now. My goals are to be able to have comfortable conversations with Korean native speakers. However, there are almost none in my area and I am 14 so getting tutors or classes would be difficult do to my parents not having enough money because I’m preoccupied with other things. I have tried apps like hello talk but I find most people my age aren’t really interested in language. I would like to say I LOVE this app. It’s nice to have a resource for learning that is just focused on speaking and listening. I really like what I see so far and in the future I would like to see what comes next. I really recommend this app for people like me who have learned Korean but are only comfortable in reading and writing. Or people who are starting out and want to have a strong foundation in speaking. Honesty a great app!

really good app, but could use some updates.. First of all, I want to say that the concept of this learning language app is the best I have came across. I enjoy the concept of learning realistic dialogue instead of learning how to say things that aren’t necessarily useful. I also enjoy the instructors, they give a clear understanding and great guide to proper Korean pronunciation, I appreciate that. Now, there are some little things that I would change if I was a developer for this application. I do not mind the ads because I know the company, developers, and teachers work very hard and need support; but I do think they are a bit excessive. I think there should be a bit more structure when it comes to the levels and lessons: For example, have the learner complete the lesson first with a high grade before being able to access the dialogue. Also, if a learner doesn’t have premium, they should be given a timer on when they can access their next learning session. Other than that, I am very excited to see where else this app will go!

Amazing. I am not going to lie this is my first time using the app so I can’t say much about it but what I can say which may seem a lot is that this is super great and I’m already getting the hand of it and I don’t even care if you have to get premium for a better experience because I’m fine with the normal mostly because I am broke but I am also using other apps and the others start on Hangul idk if that’s how you spell it but when they start on Hangul it’s so tough and my brain just mixes up which makes me not use the app and forget most of the stuff I learned so I loved that this one started with words and phrases that we will need to use if we’re ever in Korea well South Korea to be specific and that’s what I think honestly if you want to download the app and you see bad reviews just ignore them and download the app it’s not like your losing money plus you can see it for yourself like I did and I’m loving it so far and if you don’t like it just delete no pressure and I’m not forcing you do what you like

Just what I was looking for and more. I have been finding amazing apps for learning Korean, but the one feature that almost every app lacks is a good speaking and pronunciation assist and learning without an insane amount of romanization. This app gives you the option of having romanization or not which is wonderful. Anyways, it took a lot of exploring to find this underrated treasure and I am blown away by this app! It has not only helped me with the speaking and pronunciation, but it makes it more fun by putting you in real life scenarios with an AI. This is my first experience with this kind of app out of all the languages I’ve learned, including Spanish. I am absolutely excited and grateful to have found this app. Definitely worth $10 a month! Thank you so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Love this app. I really enjoy this app and firmly believe they did a great job. It helps me with holding eye contact in these scenarios where they put you in front of a person using the phrases and words that you learned in the lesson and is seen in action with a conversation face to face(sort of lol you know what I mean). Compared to other apps I have been retaining more of the lessons, phrases, and words on here compared to many other apps I have tried. The classroom and hands on vibe of this app works wonders. SOMETHING TO ADD(please) I would really love to see another section in this app where you get to do writing prompts, type out phrases or sentences to answer questions and so forth in Korean. I have a 한글 keyboard on my phone so I think it would be nice to have an option to type it manually or if people rather want they could just take the words in like a blocking system as well(some other apps have that option too)

First day with app. 안녕하세요! Pro: I am currently studying Korean in book oriented format with limited spoken or listening interaction. So,I decided to try this app to help boost my speaking and listening confidence. I really enjoy the interaction with the virtual classroom and teaching moments. I have found the teaching moments are perfect review for what I have learned in texts and helps fine tune my pronunciation of language flow and sounds. Listening to real voices vs synthetic voices is a tremendous boost to my learning. I am looking forward to whet else this app has to offer as I continue using my learning with this app. So far, excellent app! I like Teuida enough that I offer a positive review! To the developers I would like to say, 감사합니다 수고하셨습니다! OF NOTE: I had sent a first version of this app that had included a discussion and request for a paid subscription vs. the advertisement interruptions. However, I found I had overlooked the paid, ad free option! 죄송합니다! So, I am updating this review to the full 5 stars..

Genuinely amazing.. I saw this on TikTok and thought I would try it, i only just started and it’s super great! Super easy for beginners like myself. Super helpful and fun, it’s a super great way to learn Japanese or Korean. I personally struggle with dyslexia and I think their way off teaching is very appropriate!

Really helpfull. I really love the app so far, it’s helped me under stand Japanese a lot easier than dulingo 😅 I love how it’s interactive with my voice and helps me gain confidence when I’m pronouncing words, it gives me real life conversations and teaches me how people use the words properly ❤️ overall I love it. And for me being a student and seeing the female teach me on the screen it’s like a real teacher and I don’t want to disappoint her 😂

It makes me happy each time I get it right.. Even though I'm half Japanese and already know how to speak some of it I still got So happy when i got simple words like Thank you and good morning correct. Probably because the lady was really supportive in each lesson which is really nice :) ♥︎♥︎♥︎

Mic issues. It was great for a while but recently the microphone has not been working. I’m tried turning the microphone off in settings and back on and it hasn’t fixed it. it’s not my device because I’m also having the issue on other devices. I’m not sure why it’s happening?

Great App!! 5 star. It’s very easy to feel stressed learning a new language and very daunting also when learning one with so many different characters so this app teaches you the verbal language so that you don’t need to do full time study, if that’s something you’re interested in I would definitely give them a shot because it’s very easy to follow and understand, it also provides you with a video option to talk with someone as if you’re having a conversation in their native language

Interactive. it’s very interactive and worth downloading as it really puts you in a real life situation. It’s not boring because you get to practice speaking to a real person. Amazing app really. The ads don’t even bother me. Thank you for creating such a useful and fun app and making learning korean easier and casual.

TEUIDA 💙vs Duolingo 💚. The app greatly consists of realistic immersion and thought into each of their lessons, I like it due to the classroom environment to get your brain ticking. Duolingo may focus on more of the grammar and the game like effect while TEUIDA focuses on you getting to the point faster! If you want a slightly more fun and competitive, learning experience, I would use Duolingo (plus with many friends which do, Duolingo it can be very fun and competitive) But if you really want to learn the language faster than I would choose TEUIDA!

Best Language learning app yet. I love this app. It has taught me more than all of the other apps I’ve tried. It would be nice if we could get all of the lessons for free, but I guess they have to make money somehow. If you don’t mind paying money for a few months premium, I 100% recommend it!!

This app is all I needed!. This app is the definition of amazing! I learned 6 words in just one day and I love how they make you feel that you are actually in a room with them speaking! Tell me this app is good without telling me this app is good😍

5 STARS!!!. Wow, I’ve been watching kdramas lately and have been wanting to learn Korean sooo bad, TEUIDA definitely came to the rescue because I have learnt SOOO MUCH and I’ve only been doing it for 2 weeks! Amazing app, definitely better than Duolingo!

Best Japanese learning. It’s perfect it’s not like all the others were it’s tons of information and work dumped on you it’s one on one learning feel and u learn how to speak Japanese right away and they make it feel so welcoming 5 star app iv ant learned a lot thank you so much

Never let’s me finish. Sometimes it works normally but other times it literally doesn’t let me finish. like here in this test thing I’m saying 「大阪までどう行きますか?」 but it only lets me say 「おおさかまで」even though i was literally saying the entire sentence 😭😭 it’s happened multiple times and it’s starting to annoy me. i don’t know if it’s just my phone that’s stupid but i don’t know what the issue is

I’ve been tutored Korean before and it suxs, But this is BETTER than anything!. Only 2 lessons in and it’s so realistic, They give innotation tips, and force you to memorize (with the hour gaps between different lessons) It’s like a real life experience

BEST APP EVER. i’d been struggling to learn korean for ages, i tried everything till i finally found this app and omg its amazing. it’s just like having your own tutor and i’ve learnt so much already! definitely recommend.

Good but big issue. The app is really good and I enjoy using it but today when I went to use it no matter what internet I use if it’s mobile data or home data and even if it’s 4 bars and best connection the videos won’t load but they were yesterday on the same internet hope this gets fixed soon

Very good but there’s room for improvement. I find it very helpful with my pronunciation however it doesn’t teach how to read or write and I believe that understanding how to read Hangul is very helpful so I learned that elsewhere. I think the app could do better with allowing an option for imputing your age, county ect. As unless you know how to say your age and country in Korean you only learn how to say that your 25 and American/Vietnamese. Overall very helpful though. 감사합니다.

Best korean app ive experienced. This is helpful and really helps me with my korean. This app and its people really make me feel welcomed and special. This is what I really needed right now because im a felow korean not knowing much of my culture, so this app is awesome for me. There is some issues with this app tho, first it doesnt tell you how to read or write, then the ads are so long and i only watch them to lean one phrase, but other than that this app is awesome.

Korean. Korean is working very well, if you’re having trouble remembering what the words are you can write it down to remember for next time. Yesterday my sister that’s American used teuida and she can say “hi”, “thank you”, “yes”, and “no” I love how you it’s so easy!

Speaking component is really really good. I learnt Japan Duolingo and it didn’t help with much when I went to japan. I did real- in person Japanese classes and they are great but I found that I struggled with reading and speaking. This app helps lots with speaking

Amazing!. This app is one of the best language-learning apps I’ve used in a while- enough to say that I deleted Dualingo for this app. I was not let down- The lessons, courses etc are perfect for Beginners and expert levels. I love the fact that you can Speak into the microphone and have a somewhat decent conversation, this app helped me improve my pronunciation. However, I would've preferred this app to have a bit less money than it is since many users are young and don't have the resources to pay for expenses. I absolutely adore this app, keep up the great work. ❤️❤️

Loving it!. It’s been 3 days since I downloaded it and I already know so much! Whether it’s asking what something is or if you’re doing something. I also know many country names and position names! It’s so fast, fun and easy compared to other language apps! If TEUIDA didn’t exist, then I wouldn’t have had a chance of speaking Korean, thank you TEUIDA! (I’ve only met Yeji and Nelson so far but I’m loving it!)

It’s so engaging!!. Honestly, I’ve started so many different language apps and stopped only a few days after because I didn’t feel like it helped me enough. But this app lets you act out conversations that are so engaging that I can’t help but get committed to it. The voice recognition is especially cool!

Updated well. I am very happy with the additional practice section makes things much easier to remember. Also I found that the Japanese section is able to understand what I’m saying better. I had a problem where it didn’t matter how perfectly I was saying words it wouldn’t recognise it and now that has been fixed. Such a good app!

Ads. I spend most of the time watching ads for a 2-3min long video to learn phrases.. it’s a great app idea but the ads & now the AI not understanding me is becoming frustrating & you can’t learn a single level unless you unlock it by buying it.. Edit: thank you for hearing your consumers out about the ads & for working on the process & switching your ad providers. I get it must be hard to find a good balance so that you keep it free & pay your staff so I appreciate the effort.. I’ve added a star for that & reaching out!

Informal, Formal and Casual and Formal and Polite. Great app, but I notice theres no distinction for different formalities, and I’m looking at learning all 3, yet I don’t even know what TEUDIA is teaching me in general. I’d like it if you’d make an option when you first open the app, and choose between Japanese or Korean.

The best language app. This is exactly the type of language learning app I want and have created in my mind- simple, straightforward and mainly conversations The only problem is there’s sometimes adds and it would be great if it had more languages ☺️ I don’t really need to learn more languages but for other people

Amazing app!. This app makes me feel like I am having a real life conversation with someone, the quality of the videos are amazing and overall this is just a 10/10 app (in my opinion of course!)

Great App!. I love this app because it’s really easy and simple to use! I’ve never spoken any other language than English but I found that learning Korean was really simple once I got this app! It really explains everything and it listens very precisely and gives me great feed back, Thank you so much Teuida! 🌎💜

So amazing, obsessed. This is such an amazing app I would recommend this app to everyone. It has quizzes, how to pronounce, tells you if ur saying it right and stories and everything, it’s just so good. Even the scenes del kinda realistic like they’re teaching to you.

Really great way to learn :). I’ve been using another app to learn Japanese for a while now and whilst my reading and writing is pretty good, my speaking is really lacking. Which doesn’t really help me in most situations. So I’d really recommend using this app to everyone :)

Jung wook. 10/10 this app is so helpful learning new stuff everyday and actually retaining the information. I’m currently learning Korean and can I just say Jung Wook is so good looking oh my lord having conversations with him 🤭 love this app highly recommend!!

Great experience. I have been studying korean for two years, with out living in korea. The most difficult challenge is continual speaking and conversation practice. Teuida, provides a natural conversation experience when i have the time to practice.

It was good at first. This was an AMAZING app the best by far and I was using it for months it truely helped me so much BUT. When the updated version came out I couldn’t install it because I have an old iPhone. Well it had the option to keep the under updated version so I did buy it didn’t work I am really disappointed because this app was so good.😔🙁

It’s quite easy. For a beginner there are some long sentences but the practices are really helpful in my opinion i would say I have gotten better and that’s who they 40 minutes definitely would recommend if you’d like to learn Korean.

Good for lazy practice. I have found as a Korean speaker this is great for practicing Korean when u don’t have Korean friends I would recommend if your still new to learning it to not use this exclusively and add Duolingo and your daily writting into it but this could help make your Korean journey fast and more fun

Amazing app for learners. Amazing for if you are new or if you forget it they will repeat it for you the quality and how you don’t have to watch ads amazing. I think they were some very kind people

Teuida. It is extremely useful as a beginner I highly recommend this app.. One thing though is that to do lots you will have to purchase premium but the app is just as good without.

Brilliant app for practicing conversations. I am so glad I found this app. The videos are great at helping you feel like you’re having a real conversation. I love practicing without feeling embarrassed about how bad my pronunciation is, so that I keep going and improving. Well done. Thoroughly recommend.

The best app for learning how to make conversations in Korean. I love Teuida, it’s literally the best app I’ve used for learning Korean. Their idea of creating a likely-to-happen scenarios really helped me get more comfortable with my Korean. Wanna know the best part? It’s completely free! Like I’m so grateful for Teuida for giving me such a great way to practice my Korean speaking without having to spend my money. Thank you Teuida! 감사합니다~

this helps me soooo much. This app helps me so much. Over the past few years, I forgot how to speak more Korean lol. Even though my family is all Korean, I started forgetting it when I got into school. You see I was born in Australia so I didn’t get to experience the whole Korean country. As I got into school, the Korean language just got out of my head. I hit into school at prep so I didn’t even know how to write Korean. It was a hard time because a lot of Koreans got into my school and I had to help them because I was the only one who was the language. Of course, it was not easy. I kept forgetting wat words in English ment in Korean, it was tough, but of course, I did speak a little Korean, I just get it mixed up with English in a sentence. BUT THIS APP SAVED MEH. this helps so much when I forget some words. This is a amazing app so far and I can teach my cousin (who is like 29 years old but still needs help because he just got into Australia lol) how to speak English way better because of this app. THX TEUIDA!

Soo cool. This is such a fun concept!! I’m loving everything so far except maybe the ads but as long as it keeps the app free I’m happy to watch them XD Reallyy looking forward to the Japanese version too since I’m currently studying that ^^ Hope ya’ll hit it big soon cuz this deserves attention!!

대박 진짜!. I’ve been self learning Korean for around a year and a half now, but have never had opportunities to apply all the (seemingly) random concepts and vocabulary you pick up. Albeit textbooks are great from an academic standpoint, a lot of day to day conversations never apply what I learnt. And by the time the day finally comes to talk about ‘Mr Kim’s Korean book is under the desk’, the vocab has already been forgotten. I really love how Teuida teaches what feels like the chronological order of a conversation, and builds from there. It feels like bespoke tutoring from thousands of miles away. So good! Love from Sydney, Australia x

Love the app, but you still need more then just it to study.. I love this app, however I still prefer learning with another app. This app doesn’t teach formal or informal language, which is important since you can’t just talk informal to your friends as it will be seen as rude. This app lacks it, they should teach what formal and informal is earlier on and also teach both. So teaching 안녕하세요 and 안녕 instead of just the formal version. This app also doesn’t teach Hangeul, so you’ll need to learn that another way. This is not only important so you can learn grammar rules such as patchim or double patchim but also so you know what your pronouncing. You don’t want them thinking that 안 is a whole letter in the alphabet instead of it being made of consonants and syllables. And that 악 is not ak, since patchim applies. This is also important when writing it. This app is best for pronunciation, but I wish there was more things that you need. I also think that a section were you learn about Korean handwriting would be useful, write it like how it’s typed it like writing Roman font in English. It takes forever and most people don’t do it. And what you don’t want is people going to Korea and not being able to read anything.

Five Stars ,with something serious to consider.. There’s so many things to Love about this app, the speakers teachers are all awesome, the originality is also a breath of fresh air, and if you want to practice speaking, this app can be a great help, But there is one serious downside to the teaching process, it can bog you down with words you’re struggling with. And having you interact with less Korean vocabulary because you’re stuck in a loop. My wife is Korean, hence why I study the language, she’s been speaking English for 10 years and her pronunciation is far from perfect. If she was using an app like this, to learn English, She would still be stuck on a low level. For some learners this app will be exactly what they need , and they will very much enjoy it because it’s engaging, and frequently updates. Which is why I give it five stars. but for some learners this teaching approach might actually be a hindrance. Being stuck on basic words instead of getting a more larger volume, even if you can’t pronounce them perfectly.. But this app is great for what it’s trying to do , so I give them a lot of credit. . as long as it’s paired with other material. I do think this app has a great future because of the quality of its teachers and lessons.

Absolutely amazing!. This is my first time writing a review - and there’s no other app I’d rather rave on about than TEUIDA. It’s been three days since I downloaded it after hunting for ages for a decent way to learn Korean. I have to say, I am super impressed with this app. The teaching methods are awesome, and constantly speaking and practicing pronunciation has helped me retain words quite quickly. The only slight improvement I could suggest would be a section where you can review all you have learnt and practice it through more exercises. Other than that, five stars! If you are looking to learn Korean, I absolutely recommend TEUIDA. Gam sa ham nida creators of TEUIDA!

Amazing App and great customer support!. It’s really great how this app teaches you a few things and then puts you in a real-life scenario where you can use the phrases you’ve learned. The scenarios also allow you to listen to the other person and see their expressions, which is great for getting the flow of a conversation. Also had an issue with payment and my premium not showing up on my account, it was resolved easily within a few minutes after contacting them.

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT APP 😍😍. guys i have never truly found a good korean language learning app before, and when i heard of this app, i immediately downloaded it, thinking it would be like the other bad ones. but to my surprise this app led me step by step, correcting my mistakes and helped me learn the korean basics in under a day. however, there are a little too much ads for my liking and it’d be great if you guys would lower the amount of ads after practising 👍👍 thank you!! definitely recommend this app for beginners! gamsahamida 🙏🙏

Premium subscription. Look at first glance this app was really engaging and I was totally excited to learn Korean through speaking it rather than only reading it. The first lesson left a great impression on me. The next day I unlocked the next lesson with a key, (I have not paid for the premium subscription.) and watched an ad to continue to the lesson. But after clicking off the ad and going into the lesson, it always leaves me waiting on a black screen with a loading symbol. I tried again and again each time on different days but it still does not let me start the second lesson. It’s a bit of a shame — and I hope this isn’t only happening because I haven’t paid for the premium subscription. And I would not like to take the chance that the lessons still do not work even after buying the subscription (which is not cheap!). If this was fixed, the app would be perfect.

First time I’ve ever given a rating or written a review.. This is the first time I’ve ever actually bothered to take the time to write a review. That’s how good this app is. It would be such a disservice to not share how good it is. The voice recognition is superb and I love the level of interaction it allows for. My conversations feels real. This is the best language app I’ve even stumbled upon. Really excellent.

Better than duolingo?. I’m only finished with the first lesson and i’ve already subscribed for premium- rather than just building sentences like you do with duolingo, this app uses a prerecorded video to coach you in speaking and i honestly think it words better. There’s not much else to say except that when getting this app you should not hesitate- i never thought i would say this about learning a language, but i’m genuinely having fun <33

Fun to use but so buggy. Every time I unlock something… the next day it’s locked again

Amazing job. Amazing and awesome job! I love how it’s interactive! thank you. :)👍🤩😊

Study time🎐. I honestly loved this app, it really help me to get better at my Korean and now I can have a decent conversation with some of my Korean 친구☺️💗

I love this. Only on the second lesson of Japanese, but this is sooo much better compared to Duolingo! Everything is so much more organized and doesn’t feel rushed.

Good. I like it I’m just not sure how accurate it is in the real world

I love it. It helped

So freaking useful I love it sm 😭😭. This is the best language learning app ever, your not only learning how to spell and say things but your also communicating, so helpful

10/10. Already bought premium. Crazy good app so far.

My favourite language app. Easily my favourite most convenient application to learn Korean and now Spanish too!! Can’t wait to start my Spanish process through this. If you want to learn Korean this app is the FIRST step!!

Actually helps. This app actually helps because like i dont know its really good

Good app but…. Great for beginners! Are there only 11 units of Japanese language? I wanted to continue but there’s no more showing up

This is a great app!. I was trying to learn Korean for my future and this really helps!

super good!!!. It’s a really good app I recommend for trying out Korean just wish that there was no purchases needed !!

Useful. It’s easy to start learning and it’s interactive which really helps! Also they don’t force you to pay to continue learning like other apps. 🧘‍♀️

Thanks!. Thanks for the app I can speak Japanese fluently now 👍🏻👍🏻

So fun. So fun

thank. u

Absolutely slaying. This app is actually so good and it feels good to use :))

Brilliant. I love the interactive experience they create with the audio, microphone and videos. I always feel embarrassed to speak when learning so I think this will help with my confidence. I just started this app and it’s great so far.

BAM. Awesome

Only on day one but seems good!. Helps you put words you might already know into actual useful sentences

Love!. So helpful

Great honesty great. I really think it takes learning based on experience on a whole new level and i think it starts great especially with the essentials like yes, no, good morning/afternoon/evening while not boring you with textbooks and learning sheets it honestly revolutionary and has a perfect each day plan throughout the course

This app is great!!. I’m only on day 1 of learning japanese and i already know so much! This app is great and engaging especially if you want to be able to have a conversation in the language. I love it so much!

love it. its a good app i love it

Cute and refreshing. Really cute way to make you speak and feel like practicing with a teacher irl.

This app makes me kinda mad. For an instance, i keep saying the right words but it’s not correct and sometimes it doesn’t let me finish my sentence and says it’s incorrect 👎🏻

Amazing!!. Wow! I love this app and have just started - I can’t help but laugh every time at the staged scenarios but it makes the experience much more personal and natural. A big shout out to chankorean3 on Instagram for recommended this app!! I’m so excited to learn :)

AMAZING!!. Was a really good curriculum and love the interactive content, but a lot of ads. Otherwise really good app for beginners!

Japanese. Easy

I love this app it’s actually helping me!. Very good app!

Very useful app. I am starting to learn Japanese so I am able to surprise my friends and with this app I am able to feel immersed by being able to listen and speak through the app

5/5. It makes me FEEL like a K-drama

Not accurate. My native Korean friends kept saying that’s not how you say that and correcting my spelling when I’m saying and writing exactly what I learned

Amazing. I love this app so much it motivates me to learn and keep my streak but also teaches me in a way I understand and remember

My review. Amazing app!! I’ve been looking for an app like this for awhile ever since I wanted to learn Japanese. perfect app.

I Works!. I have only been using TUEDIA for 3-4 days and it has already taught me how to say: my name, what is your name, hello, and thank you! Thank you TUEDIA crew!!

Really nice. Really good

Kind of buggy. I’ve had some glitches and things, but it seems like a new app. There’s still some potential for sure. I like the speaking practice, and the video approach.

good. the encounters as if you were really talking to a korean person help so much rather than just studying the language in your head, u can use and speak it. very good for practice 👍

Pronunciation + Help option + accuracy?. This app works decent enough if you continuously remember to use it daily. However, if you miss a day (etc) chances are you’ll forget. During the quiz time near the end of each lesson, I sometimes get very frustrated because I forget an expression. The only option is to restart the entire lesson or Google it, which often doesn’t match. This leads to my next comment being that it might not be super accurate. I’ve realized that on some occasions, I can say whatever I like and it will mark it as correct. Also, this app doesn’t help with pronunciation at all, which is too bad because it’s something many struggle with, including me. Overall, it’s a pretty good app! I like the 1 key per day feature, it keeps me waiting for the next lesson.

Amazing. Very interactive, best app I’ve tried so far!

Mic issue. I love the app it’s just after coming back to it after so long. I’m having an issue with my microphone and it’s honestly just throwing me off and I’m getting more and more annoyed that it’s not working although I’ve turned on my voice recognition and my microphone and logged in and logged out, as well as uninstall, and read, install , it still won’t work . so if you could guys could please fix this issue, it would be highly appreciated…

Stories. When will you add more stories in Korean and in Japanese?

Amazing!. Unsponsored review* great app!

BEST APP. Great I love ittt💗

Amazing app. This app is amazing, it makes the learning fun, unlike Duolingo you have to actually speak which helps a lot!

Great learning tool! All good - other than inappropriate ads. Teuida is a great app to learn practical conversations in Korean! I would recommend other than the ads - I don’t mind waiting the 30sec but the amount of inappropriate ads...so many! I just can’t stand it and end up leaving TEUIDA even though I want to continue. Please fix this then I can happily be back enjoying your app daily!

Amazing. very helpful, makes it easier to learn a language when you interact

Cool concept. Really helps with retention. Give it a shot!. I stuck with this app for the first 21 daily lessons, spending a key per day. Really enjoyed it! I’ve tried Duolingo, Cake, Lingo Deer, Lingo Legend (favorite), TTMIK and a few smaller things too. This is one of my top 3 recommendations for sure. Usually, if I really love an app and it’s helping me, I’ll spend money on it. I did for most of the apps I just mentioned. I love this app and wanted an excuse to upgrade, but the monetization model just doesn’t work for me. It’s not the price. The daily lessons are perfect and bite size, but still push you. Beyond that, I didn’t feel like really diving into the other content. So I would just spend my free daily key. The app didn’t give me a compelling reason to upgrade. Then I got far enough that they started requiring more than one key per day. If there were a lifetime purchase option, I would’ve taken it at that point. Instead it felt like the app gave me an ultimatum to subscribe or go away. A bit of a ramble but I’m still rooting for TEUIDA. Maybe I’ll come back one day.

Great app:)). Hey I love this app it is really great and I am so glad I downloaded it and I really wanted to learn Korean and when I downloaded this app I learn so much Korean and thank you for teaching us and I appreciate the people who is in the app they are so beautiful and they really taught me so much and I just have one problem which is that I am young and I can’t pay and my family can’t really afford it so I would be so glad if you guys work on maybe making more vids and that are free so we can learn more and thank you once again for teaching us, we love your app it’s amazing:).

Get this APP!!!. I discovered this app though an Asian influencer!! and i love it. I used to use doulingo for Korean and Japanese ETC, but this app seems more accurate with the pronunciation. and I love and appreciate that I get to actually say what I’m learning! and if and when I mess up I’m not losing hearts and have to wait for them to come back or practice to get more hearts… which sometimes for me feels like a lot and I’ll lose my motivation to continue, but I’ve had this app for about two days and I absolutely love it!! If you guys are hesitant to download this app don’t walk RUN don’t run SPRINT it’s soooo worth the space !!!

Love this app!. This app is really amazing! Unlike the other one's I tried before this had made me really learn Korean! The one thing I just wanna add is I wish there was more languages ti learn besides Japanese and Korean. But both of those languages is amazing! But I would also really love to learn other ones! You maybe asking "Why don't you find another app to learn a different language" I'll tell you! This app helps me the most with learning! Like the other one's aren't bad and all but this one makes me feel the most comfortable and easier to learn! It actually feels like we are in Korea or Japan! Overall I love this app so much! But all I wish is there to be more languages!

Liking it so far. As a full blooded Korean who barely remembers how to speak his own family’s language (on the account of never being encouraged to keep practicing it alongside English), I find this to be very helpful so far! Not only do they have actual Korean people to help teach you the language, but everything appears to be accurate and easy to learn! I even love how interactive it is, just like with the mock interview at the end of chapter 1. Best part is that it appears to be all free so far, albeit at the cost of watching an ad. I look forward to keep using this wonderful app to help me relearn my language.

Best app ever. This app is honestly really good. I have been called to speak Korean for a while and once I’m done, I think may be switching to Japanese. The good thing is that if you give up on learning a language you can switch to the other one immediately and that’s some thing I really like about this app. Of course there are the downsides of the ads but you can easily buy yourself off. I haven’t done that because the abs are super short and I love this app really much. I would recommend to download this if you’re hoping to learn Korean or Japanese.

10/10 Would Recommend. I started learning a few months ago and stopped, at that time i knew almost nothing about Korean or how to speak it. I recently learned hangul and came back to the app and surprisingly I haven’t forgotten anything I learned from a few months ago! That goes to show how well you absorb everything you learn from this app!! So i’d definitely recommend this app to anyone who’s interested in learning Korean. But i recommend you learn the korean alphabet first. It’s not that hard and can be learned in one hour!!

Love this so far.. Hello! I will say, I’m only a few lessons in and I adore this app. I want to learn to speak Korean as well and write and understand it as well. I’ve been interested in learning since my friends kinda volunteered me to be the “guide” on our trip in 3 years to Seoul and I feel like to get the full experience one must learn the language (both written and spoken) as well as understand the culture. I’m really excited for our trip and hope that in three years I’ll be proficient enough for us to enjoy ourselves fully. Thank you so much for creating this app!

Interesting to say the least. Okay firstly super cute. There’s story lines you can follow! But when the other person starts talking in Korean it freaks me out because I don’t know what they’re saying really. Anyways you have to pay to be a premium member and have to wait to access other parts. However there’s also a lot of ads. Like A LOT. After every episode and lesson there’s a video. I’m not very fond of that. It’s like those games you download but end up deleting because of the excessive ad content. So I’m not sure if I’ll still use this or cave and do the premium. I’ll probably look for better options.

Really great app. I have taken Japanese in college for two years and they explain things just like my 先生. I think this is a great app for beginners but I wish there was a way I could test out of certain levels since I am a bit more advanced in my understanding of Japanese. Either way though it’s pleasant to even have a refresher on things I have learned so long ago on my journey with the Japanese language. I also enjoyed that you learn the nuance of the language in the context of cultural norms. Because it’s one thing to know Japanese but it’s another thing to be able to communicate in it. Overall this is a lovely app and I will be looking into the Korean version as well!

Very good!. I tried starting Korean on Duolingo, and it wasn’t the best. This is awesome though! It explains everything very well, and makes it easy to remember the phrases. The conversation practice is very useful as well. I make sure to write everything down they say, and if you do that you get a hang of the alphabet too! They don’t go in depth, but do explain some cultural reasonings for the way they say things. Lots of ads, but it’s free and a great way to learn the language so I don’t mind. Also the actors are super good at english... this app is the best honestly! They need to make ones like this for other languages!

A fun way to learn. I haven’t had this app for very long, but I have enjoyed it very much. I’m the type of person who learns best by doing something and TEUIDA kindly forces you to put into practice what you learn right away! I hope this app grows and adds a lot of conversations! I also love that it shows you the kanji as you speak so that you can make sure your pronunciation is on point. I’ve caught myself having to make sure my vowels are better. Anyway! Highly recommend this app if you’d like to embark on a journey toward learning Korean or Japanese!

Need a little help. I downloaded this app but when I tried to login it would not let me scroll down and submit the thing where I had to create a nickname and stuff. The page where it brings you after you login. What I see when I login is the profile page where you set up the nicknames, birthdate, and level. (Sorry, I’m being vague I don’t know how to describe it) After many attempts downloading it and re-downloading it still wouldn’t work. I don’t know if this is a problem with the app or if it’s just on my end. But I think this app would be very amazing if it would just let me scroll down and submit that profile thing. I hope that you would tell me the reason why that is happening and how to fix that minor issue. Pls help me out. I really need this app. Thanks! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Although great app for learning Korean and Japanese. Hello developers of TEUIDA I just wanted to give some feedback on your app first of all I wanted to say it’s a really great and fun way to learn both Korean and Japanese in my opinion and also to fix a minor problem so when ever I try to say a word for a example if I were to say ji-min I-e-yo it would come out as something different which sometimes confuses me but other then that it’s a great app for learning both Korean and Japanese right now I’m taking the Korean course and it’s going to great so far other than that minor problem but other then that it’s great so thank you so much and I hope you have a great day/night bye!

Love the app but…. I love using this app. getting to speak the language and have real time feedback on pronunciation is awesome! My issues with the app is the streak counter. Today is day 170 of me using Teuida but my streak plant is saying it’s 1 day. My streak record is saying longest streak “17days”. Very frustrating because I KNOW I haven’t missed any days. Valentine’s Day will be day 200 for me, and I was working so hard for that goal. Even in the death of a loved one on Christmas I’ve been good at keeping my daily practice because that’s part of my self care while grieving. I know I haven’t missed a day! Very frustrated about this. That’s a lot of time to now have no record of /milestone for. 😭😭😭

Love it. I love this app it is still hard for me to pronounce but I will get there if I keep saying it😅 but other than that I would say it is really helpful and plus this app is free u don’t hVe to pay today is my first day and I have learned a lot and I am really thankful to this app thank you❤️🙏I have been trying to find all where I can learn Korean but it was just hard for to do it but idk this app just felt different it is super easy to do it but if u are having trouble pronouncing it they will make u repeat u til u get it right which I love about it and once u get it just keep saying it every time and u will know how to pronounce it right so I would recommend this app to everybody

Amazing!! And super useful/effective!. I frequently use this app along with drops and duolingo to help myself learn Korean! It’s super effective and helps me prevent myself from overworking myself by doing too much work in a day and then forgetting it later on by separating every few lessons into day 1, day 2, etc. It’s really fun too! It’s almost like watching a tv show at times with the story modes. And I feel like the app helps you to learn lettering without directly teaching you. I also use duolingo to help me understand some lettering as well as the app drops’ available 5 minutes a day to help me create visuals for my vocabulary. Overall I love his app a lot!

I love it~. I think this app is really good if you already have a basic understanding of the Korean alphabet and sounds. This app definitely has helped me improve on speaking more confidently as it does pick up if I say something wrong. The semi interactive videos are really cool and the mini in-depth lessons are nice too. The app is well made and it’s definitely different than other apps I used. I honestly never heard of this app, I wish and hope more people can find out about this app. I didn’t mind paying because I hope to impress my in laws 😅😅 I hope they can include some videos on talking to elders in the future.

Best language app ever!. I always considered learning Japanese and I didn’t know how. I tried using Google translate, Duolingo, and many others and I couldn’t speak it 100% correctly because I can’t remember the words they show me. When I first saw your app I downloaded it thinking it wasn’t gonna help. But, as soon as I started the lesson it felt like having an online tutor and with the voice buttons to record how I say it correctly that really helped me understand more. Overall, amazing app and I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day 💫

would say it’s worth it for people genuinely trying to learn.. I think this new method is pretty cool and the non-premium ads aren’t overbearing. (Premium id say is a tad bit expensive) I downloaded this just to see if it was one of those false-ads for fun but if I was genuinely trying to learn either Korean or Japanese I could easily see this working really well. Maybe the non-premium could generate 2 keys in 24hrs so a person could have a large enough amount of content to actually remember it the next day but that could only be a personal way of learning.

Love it but one issue. I love the App it’s totally helping me. It’s literally my first day learned about four words already about to move onto my second day. my issue with day one was that on the first video it glitched, and it kept repeating, and I couldn’t say anything so I had to leave because of the technical issues but that’s really everything. Everything has been amazing and I love the app so far of course I just started using the app so there will be more reviews from me, but this app is amazing so yeah, five star review 💗🫶

Fun yet wonderfully challenging.. I love this app. It really dives into the Korean language and breaks it down. I love the interactions. It pushes me to take the time to learn. It feels so real like I’m talking to these teachers! I really enjoy the stories, also. I get so nervous because it feels so real! I feel like I’ve really progressed. I love the Korean language, culture and people. With this app, I feel like I’ll really learn and be able to keep progressing. I have a lot to learn still but I'm so excited. It can be super hard at times but that’s what pushes me. To really nail the dialect and words. Thank you!

To others from Shay. It really helps me if I ever wanna go travel or have to talk in private in a different language, I always wanted to be fluent in Korean and this app inspires me too! I really appreciate this app for making me understand better than most others and that it’s better when your being talked to during the sessions to understand better and can easily go back and review if needed to! This is why I love this app and I’m challenged to practice this for a year and retake it again so I can remember instead of doing nothing :D

I love this app. It makes me feel like It’s serious and real and I have to act professional! I love the feature that we get to actually talk to people! Thats why I love this app so much! The talking is so much fun knowing your learning another language and trying to be fluent in it! This app makes learning Korean so much fun and you don’t even get tired of it! I enjoy the conversations alot! One thing though, how about making the wait to move to the next one a bit shorter. I don’t want to wait to learn again! I love it so much and when I have to wait sooo long! And I have to come back 22 hrs later. But overall this app is amazing

Just please add a skip button. I hate this app on I’m on my 4 day and some of these words are complicated but I can’t do anything. I can’t skip the lesson and just keep on asking me the question repeatedly, even though I am obviously struggling and I’m stuck on the same lesson and it’s been about like two days and I can’t get out of the lesson because I’m struggling so much, I literally hate this app. Don’t listen to these other people because I swear it’s one of the worst apps I’ve ever tried and am I opinion Duolingo is way better than this because even when you make a mistake, Duolingo can detect if you’re struggling or give you easier things to learn. Especially if you knew. And I thought I could do this for fun, but honestly these past few days have not been fun and they have been stressful and I was in this really doesn’t sit right with me

Please adapt for native iPad use. I like the way the app uses the camera to throw you into “real life situations” and make you feel like your talking to natives in common settings. But I don’t like the way this app is designed for iPhone only, and you need to stretch it to fill more of the screen - which is not ideal. The phone is skinnier, and this still doesn’t look great. This could be a 5 star app if it was designed to work natively for iPad. I never use my phone to learn languages- the screen is too small. I also like the different categories so you can choose what you want to learn. It’s expensive- especially without native iPad support.

This is amazing. I just downloaded this game and it’s really fun! It’s like you’re having a real life conversation, it has also helped me get better at the pronunciation but the only problem is that only the first chapter is free and you have to pay for the other chapters... I can’t afford to buy anything right now so I’m kinda looking stuck. If there is a way for you to make it so that people can continue to the next chapter without paying anything would be great. I saw another review where it said you should add coins so that they can still somehow buy the next chapter is a great idea so people will feel more motivated to continue learning!

If you’re only going to do one language program, this is the one. Out of a dozen Korean language programs I’ve tried, Teuida is the only one I’ve stuck with daily. It addresses the weaknesses most other programs have: learning from native speakers, perfecting my pronunciation, focusing on the most useful phrases needed in daily life, lessons that aren’t too long or short, and it’s super fun! Since I can customize my learning experience with this app, staying diligent with my lessons has been effortless, and I’ve made genuine progress in speaking and understanding Korean. My bestie, who moved here from Korea, says I’m good enough to live and work there at this point!

I love this app!. Sure, I'd be happy to! I recently used this Korean learning app and I have to say, I was extremely impressed. The app was easy to use and offered a wide range of features that made learning Korean fun and engaging. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, with a good balance of vocabulary, grammar, and conversation practice. The app also offered a range of interactive features, such as quizzes, talking practices that helped me to reinforce what I had learned. Overall, I would highly recommend this Korean learning app to anyone who is interested in learning the language. It's a great way to get started and to build a solid foundation in Korean.

Helpful and Free!. I’m so glad I was able to find a helpful app that will teach me Korean phrases without making me pay! It shows you the Korean Hangul characters, how to say it (which is helpful if you aren’t very good at reading Hangul), and it gives you feedback on your speech. The only thing I would add is an option to remove the romanization and insert your own information so the phrases you are learning are relevant to you (example: inserting your age so you learn to say how old you are, since not everyone is 25). And maybe having a review pop up every so often. The app has been great so far and I will continue to use it often!

Cute app! A few suggestions. It seems pretty new but I like it so far! I love seeing Nancy, she is so sweet and kind and I love that little skit we did with her where she talks about having lived in Ohio. Jeannie is also super awesome and I like how she sounds out every syllable. I also like how she does her thumbs up it’s very cute haha. I’m not sure if there is one but maybe talk more about grammar like how to go from formal to informal language? 저 vs. 나 and how conjugation works (from what I understand, there isn’t nearly as much conjugation in Korean, much like in Chinese). I think it’s definitely a promising app and I will continue to use it!

Love the app, though I do have a few suggestions. I think your learning model is quite possibly the most optimized I have ever had the pleasure of using. However I never would have found you guys if it wasn’t for a recommendation. I do some SEO secularly, and I think your App Store presence could use a little juicing. (Not asking for a job 😂 just pointing out potential improvements.) Also, if you can do a widget for your plant as a reminder to do your lesson for the day, that would be both aesthetically pleasing and beneficial. Thank you for reading my long review, hope I was helpful.

Overall a great app!. So far I’ve only had this app for a day, but it’s going great! I love the fact that it seems so in-person because it makes it much easier to follow along with. I also really appreciate the fact that they force you to practice saying the words as you learn them so that you can practice your pronunciation and overall accent. I already know a bit of Korean and downloaded the app to become fluent. This made the lessons seem a little slow and repetitive, but at least that means I get some practice(right?) Definitely recommend if you are trying to learn Korean(especially if your a beginner.)

best app ever if you really want to learn. im so serious when i say this is the greatest app to learn korean/japanese. the structure of the lessons, how interactive and real it feels, how it focuses on accurate pronunciation but also on you learning how to actually structure sentences is amazing, you guys have done an amazing job. I’ve downloaded many apps to learn other languages and this is 200% the best one. i’ve made so much progress in just one month, i never would’ve thought it’d be possible. thank you to the creators and to everyone that has worked/ works on this app.

Just what I needed. I have been trying to self study/teach myself Korean for about a year and half now and I have used books for grammar, other apps for vocabulary and phrases, but I still felt like I wasn’t learning enough. I have no one to speak Korean with and therefore I always feel afraid to speak it out loud because I don’t feel sure or confident in conversation. Finding this app and using it so much fun and it’s easy to use. It’s great for listening, reading and most importantly speaking. The lessons are broken down into small phrases and then broken down even more to help teach the whole phrase!! I absolutely love it so far! Highly recommend!!

very cool app. i think it’s such an effective, engaging way to learn having it be on the spot conversation, and the instructor for each phrase is extremely calm and helpful. I think the app could be slightly more intuitive - i kept swiping to talk without doing the lessons and being so lost, lol! And ofc as an on-a-budget student I can’t afford to pay yet, but i actually love the ad system, bc I want the app to stay in business and continue to develop. I’ve only been using it a couple of days but the conversational style is very empowering - I’ll update my review if continuous use stays good and if I end up being able to pay too. :) Good job to the developers and team behind it !

Good app bad execution. This app is a really cool concept and there aren’t many apps like it the only problem I have is that it doesn’t allow you enough time to speak of the sentence before it cuts you off and then the character asked you to repeat it my next critique is that they don’t even teach you the words they just kind of throw you out there which is good for people that need to practice but for ones that are just learning it’s kind of hard for them or use this app to be able to speak and being forced to speak but unfortunately the characters kept cutting me off and I had to repeat it several times and sometimes it won’t even let me get halfway through so I think they should definitely improve on that

Wish I found this app sooner!. I’ve taken a Korean course and used multiple apps…aside from learning Hangul, I didn’t retain much of my previous lessons. Then I found Teuida! It’s amazing how much work was put into this app! I really enjoy these bite-sized lessons and carefully crafted videos by the Teuida team. I found this way more engaging and effective than apps that use the flash card memorization approach to learning. They create everyday scenarios where you would use what you learned. They teach you grammar and when to use it. I feel more confident answering in Korean now than I ever did.

Good starter for learning Korean. They uses of common conversational terms makes it’s quick to understand while simultaneously giving you the opportunity to give your response and practice. The genius part that most who seem to miss is during these conversations you are be gradually exposed to more of the Korean language. At points you will think to yourself I’ve heard this before. And in fact you have! It’s a lot easier to work towards your goal of being able to have your basic understanding and response when you have an environment that curates it!

New update = more glitches. Every time there’s a new update, I get new glitches. They do eventually get fixed but I thought I let you guys know what’s happening now. Now with the ads being at the end of the lessons, I’m getting a glitch at the end where the screen will just turn black or it won’t let me exit out of the ad at all and then I have to exit the app and I won’t be able to see all of the phrases I just learned without doing the lesson all over again. And then during stories, if I want to redo a phrase, it plays an ad every single time I redo a phrase which is very annoying. I’m not sure why the ads got switched to be at the end of each lesson/story but I’m not enjoying it. Still very much love the app though and will keep using it and hopefully these glitches get fixed

Great app except sometimes bug. I really enjoy this app and learned a ton from it! A few things would like to suggest : 1. Sometimes I tried multiple times speaking and the app would display what I said in a long string and freeze for a while(this bug has improved after I updated it but occasionally it still occurs); 2. I almost finish the lessons and wish to see more content involving daily used sentences and longer sentences. Not sure it is a good suggestion but putting it here anyway. But again this is a wonderful app and I highly recommend it!

Amazing Korean learning app!!. I love this app! The phrases they have are more like what Korean people really use in real life compare to what you learn from the text book. It help me talk to my Korean friend more naturally. One thing I wish is that there are the way to unlock each section without buying the premium. For suggestion, if the user get A+ for a first section they can unlock the next section in the same level for maybe 10 minutes. Or maybe add the coin system to unlock lesson-by-lesson. By the way, if I ever have a chance to buy the premium , I’ll do for sure. Let me save up some money😂 Thanks for the great app!

Extremely helpful. I have tried so many apps but nothing seemed to help as much as this. The best part is having an actual person speak instead of a robot, taking it slow and then putting it all together. I’d say it helps to use a combination of apps of course, but this is the only one I’ve gotten premium for. I really enjoy it! The scenario videos are an added benefit to hear more context around the phrases you learn and they’re a little silly to keep you entertained. I think this is the only time I’ve ever cheered “yeah!” after being asked if I was ready for a pop quiz. I really recommend this to start speaking faster.

Great app!!. I love this app, it is definitely helping me get better with practicing conversation in Korean, but I deal with a lot of technical issues with the app, like the mic, it doesnt work sometimes and I thought it was a phone issue but I will use the mic then one day it wont work, I tried refreshing, deleting it then reinstalling it still didnt work, and it caused me to loose my 72 day streak because I couldn't complete the lesson and I was really sad because I worked so hard to get that streak, and now I have to start over, and it currently still isn't working, so. Other than that its a great app it keeps me interested!

Interesting but Eh? I have a Question too!. 제 질문: when I buy the one month membership, and it finishes, will I be charged again? If so how can I stop it from charging me again? 그래도 진짜 감사합니당~ I really do enjoy this app but the to unlock everything is quite pricey. And you can only unlock it with a certain amount of time (example- 10$ for all the content unlocked, for only a month). For the creators of this app would recommend just doing a one time purchase, because it’s really pricey, 10$ for a month only.

literally amazing!if you’re learning korean or want to use this app right away!. I loved this app because it’s free..unlike any app it has premium but you will still learn everyday normally it’s amazing it helped me get more of a Korean accent and helped me get formal and respect towards koreans and their culture I was really happy that I found this app it truly helped a lot further more it’s not boring it’s actually pretty fun because it feels like you’re talking to an actual Korean person/someone who speaks Korean and that’s really all I ever wanted was to speak Korean with someone and this app made everything for me!

Get the app! There’s one problem though... Hello! I love this app so much! I have gone so far with learning Korean, I’m not very consistent but usually I don’t come back to stuff like learning languages but I’ve gotten to far to where it’s like I wasted everything if I stop now. It’s all thanks to this app. I love how I have to talk to them since it can help remember and the teachers are great! Recently this app has been freezing though to where it would be a black screen and then I would have to refresh it..so that’s kind of annoying so please fix that😭 Thank you TEUDIA for this app I couldn’t have done this without y’all💗💗

Pretty standard and helpful pronunciation guide. I don’t think it’s the absolute best a teaching and reinforcing vocabulary memorization but it still gets a 5 star for pronunciation guiding and real convo guidance. I love that it focuses more on everyday sentences and conversation. I would recommend getting a head start on basics Before starting this app though, like beginners vocabulary and reading Hangul. English romanization of Hangul is not very helpful when you get to more complicated words and it will make your learning process immensely more helpful. My Korean bf does still love this app though and I do too on getting their learners to listen and speak more during study time~ 5/5

Teaches well. Love this app, it teaches some pretty common things a normal korean person would speak(my parents speak korean pretty casually). You learn at a very fast pace(which i recommend you do at least 1-3 lessons a day) and you can speak casually too, not just informal! Since i live in the U.S. , i didnt speak much korean and my parents never really taught me how to speak a lot, i just used this app and it helps my korean speaking a lot more! And also if you like kpop , the 비비즈(VIVIZ) episodes are very fun and enjoyable too! I also recommend learning kpop lyrics to really understand what people say in songs!

Got because of a tiktok ad. I recently downloaded this app through tiktok because ive been struggling with my japanese and I can’t exactly find many good resources to help me with it (that works for me.) When I found this app I immediately downloaded it because I was pretty desperate for help and this ended up being one of the better apps I’ve downloaded (and kept.) From what I’ve seen so far, the app is really good and it definitely helps me with my speaking. One tiny suggestion though; you can watch ads to get keys since some people can’t exactly pay the price for premium. Besides that, this is definitely a great app that i’ll keep and use frequently.
