DoFasting Intermittent Fasting Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Not Worth the Money. I really thought I would be getting something more for my money than a timer. Sadly, it doesn’t even deliver on that note. I should have listened to the reviews. If you forget to start or stop your fast in the app, you end up having to start over. There is not a way to go back and add when you started your last fast and ended. According to the app, I have multiple days I didn’t fast. But I did and cannot get the data in the app. I really think you can achieve the same results with the health app, fitness app, and your timer. The other app features are a calorie tracker, a water tracker, weight tracker, and activity tracking (which it just gets the data from your iPhone anyway). And the app does not share data with the health app. So, I have to log water twice if I want the data in my health app. The app says you get coaching. It does send you some articles every once in a while. But again, most of the information is stuff I have read reading health magazines or nutritional websites. The water recommendations are also basically what is widely recommended in many articles on the subject. It is attempting to be the jack of all trades. It is the master of none. Save your money. Use your iPhone timer, track calories in its own app, keep up with walking/exercise in the fitness app, and use the health app to track your water and weight.

DoFasting is great!. DoFasting has been amazing to me! The app is so helpful and has truly aided me to lose weight. The app has a multitude of tasks, recipes, workouts, articles, etc. to help aid you on your dieting routine. The app is great for consistent progress and tracking so your plan works the greatest for you. The app is great for keeping track of your progress in helping you settle a routine where you can finish a good exercise regiment and eat a good, sufficing amount each day. DoFasting is great I recommend it to anyone. 5/5

Good concept. Love the ability to be reminded of windows and be able to track both food and water. However it occasionally freezes and I have to close completely and reopen sometimes more than once. Also hate how you changed the water to preset volumes….update have used the app for 7 months…love the concept. It tired of the freezing and reset problems. E.g. I can start my fasting at 8 pm and the next morning it says a completely different start time. Recently it changed my start weight and calorie goal. Continue to hate the water volume options even since the recent update. Still often freezes making it impossible to start or stop fasting. Have to close and reopen usually several times. Canceling my subscription this month. Too frustrating.

Great concept wish it worked better. I love the way this app is designed to work but in my experience it has been super glitchy. I started a fast yesterday afternoon and when I checked the timer just now it says it has been 50 hours since my last fast and would I like to restart my program? It doesn’t happen every time but probably my every few days it ends up losing my fasting information and asking me to restart my program. It’s really annoying because it loses some of my history when it does that. I also wish the calorie counting was a bit more user friendly but there are so many other apps for that I just use a different one.

App freezes. The program of intermittent fasting works. I spend too much time trying to make this program work. In the iPhone it freezes and will not load. I can’t end the fast or begin a new fast. Each day the program hangs up and often data is lost because I can’t get the program to start working. I have become an expert at how to get it to work. Often I am to busy to troubleshoot and sometimes I go two or three days without recording anything. The menu for food is ridiculously complex. It is often hard to just record a simple nutrition facts for a bowl of oatmeal If you follow the fast and track your nitration with exercise. You will lose weight in a healthy way. I lost 25 pound over four months. Stopped going to the gym and weight loss slowed. You can’t lose weight by diet alone. When this software works the program is a good healthy way to fitness and healthy lifestyle

Aweful. I was excited at first because told you when to stop and start and if you missed it you could change the time. Then I started listening going my food. Well you can’t find hardly anything. They are pretty much random items put in giving calories. The scanning option errors out and doesn’t work so you have to grab a random listing and then dicker with how much you ate to get the right calories. This should be free until you figure out the bugs. Be aware once you sign up for trial, it automatically takes the 3 month billing off the top. Go to complain and get your money back they say they’ll give you a portion. I thankfully went through PayPal which retrieved my money!!!

Please see review posted a few minutes ago. I ranked the app with only one star and I wrote a review of struggles I’m currently having. But I want to further elaborate. I’m using the free version. If I could use the app successfully for any period of time, I’d be happy to subscribe. However, I’ve had the app for well over a year, with a period of time I quit fasting, but I’ve had too many issues to want to pay for it. Previously, my biggest issue is not being able to save my own meals and I go. Having to re-enter line by line every time is beyond annoying. Also, many of the same items (I.e., taco) are listed multiple times with too many variations, and no way to identify the difference). And the library is also full of items (I.e., raw pork, raw chicken, etc.) that no one should be eating so why is it even cluttering up the options? When it’s working properly and I’m not having to make up food nutrition too often, I would give it a higher rating. But right now the issues outweigh the convenience.

Happy to be losing weight...😊. I lost 7.4 pounds in one week, and I haven’t felt a lot of hunger pains... The program really does work, then the next day after the beginning of the Second week I lost .8 pounds, which is now 8.4 pounds in one week one day...(awesome) The only thing is my health report quit working I’ve done everything it said to do, but it hasn’t come back. So it’s only recorded five days of my fasting,Where it has been eight days so far...But I’m going to keep doing it, because so far it’s working for me...

No way to stop the app from shaming me. I find a particularly ironic and contradictory that the app is meant to encourage you, but it shames you if you don’t fast every single day that you said you were going to when you first set the app up. The ironic part is that the app is all about easing you into fasting but it asked you as you’re setting up your profile how many days a week you want to fast well I said six and I can’t meet that goal two months into this, so I asked customer service if they could change the goal for me so that I would stop being shamed, after two days of not fasting when I set my goal unrealistically, and they cannot change it. That’s messed up!!!! Why would you ask me to promise you the number of days that I’m going to fast and then have me take a test once I’m already into the app and I’ve said how many days I want to fast but I had no idea what I was signing myself up for. Now I’m expected by the app six days a week and I can’t do that. So after two days of not doing it, it tells you that you haven’t been fasting and that you are not gonna meet your goals and if you keep doing this, then you’re going to make it harder on yourself. That’s really messed up.

Definitely not value for money. I decided to try this and intermittent fasting in general. Though you can manage your fasts with a watch, I elected to try this for more tracking. I am disappointed in the app. They tie you in for a 6 month period before you can even try it and I will tell you the app is extremely basic, kind of offensive for how much they charge. I won’t list all the issues but here are a few that annoy me: - you can’t just add your water, you have to pick one of their pre-determined amounts that make no sense and any adjustments are 1.5 oz not one. Makes no sense. - there is an option to set your fast when you started earlier but every time I try to roll it back it just resets - there is no offline option - no big deal but if you forget and try to use it when you are not connected to wifi or cell, it resets everything and you have to re-login and set up your account again - more annoying, it randomly crashes and you have to reset everything anyway These are just a few, but it is not a user friendly app and doesn’t come close to delivering for the price you pay. Look for something else, I am unfortunately stuck with it for another few months.

Disappointed. Unfortunately, I paid for the app and am quite disappointed in it. The app logs me out all of the time which is super annoying. I can’t look back to see what fasting times I have had in the past weeks. It only shows a weekly health report for the current week and even that is not correct. For example, today is Monday. It says I logged Monday through Friday last week, but not on Saturday and Sunday and I DID log for every single day. I find logging food to be extremely difficult. Most of the foods I eat aren’t listed. It doesn’t save foods I have entered. The app is hard to navigate. I don’t find it motivating. For me…it is a pure waste of money. I am definitely NOT getting what I paid for! Live and learn. Don’t waste your money. Ha!! Not to mention that you have to enter a nickname to be displayed on your review and every one I put is already taken. Why doesn’t THAT surprise me?? 😡

Live Chat is terrible/App has flaws. So I was trying to start my fast and the app would change the time I was starting it. And this happened a couple of time before I notice it was now asking me my eating time. So I had a couple of fasts that I never completed showing as having taken place but there’s no way to delete them anyways. So I didn’t like the app as a result and decided I’ll go back to Zero. Well I went to manage my subscription from the app and it goes over to safari and take me to the login page. When I got it log in, it doesn’t log in but instead says “It seems that you purchased your subscription via mobile device”. Uh…yeah!?! No sh** Sherlock. I did. So what? Doesn’t tell me anything than that I must’ve purchased it though the mobile device. Ok I did now let me log in. No, it won’t. No instructions on what to do. I go back to the app, I go to App Settings and then hit that blue button “Manage Subscription” and I press it and again, takes me to login on the website and again, I get that stupid message. I just want to make sure my subscription ends after the 6 month plan because I’m not satisfied with the app. It’s glitchy. I tied to go to live chat, someone name Florida joins the chat after 15 mins or so of waiting as 2 people are in the queue before me. and then she leaves the chat without a hello. So I have to start a new live chat, I’m really upset now, and another 15 mins with being the only person in the live chat queue. I gave up. The wait is to long.

Very dissatisfied with this app. The app is not user friendly, does not allow you to track anything out of the app’s timings. It is very rigorous, not aimed to help and accompany the user and its fasting journey. Therefore it defeats its main purpose. I hope it’s developers can improve the user experience. Additional info: - Form instance If you forgot to stop or start the fasting, you cannot edit this the day after, or even an hour after the fasting was supposed to finish. - When tracking meals, it does not allow you to add ingredients to be used later on. You have to create all customized meals from scratch. This takes a lot of time. Then you ended up not tracking what you actually ate.

Glorified Timer, Over-aggressive selling. The app is great at doing the very basic thing of choosing a plan and then timing your windows. It stinks at everything else. The meal tracker is basically useless unless you use the limited recipes provided. The kCal tracker does not pair with any major fitness tracker other than FitBit. And, perhaps worst of all, the app literally tries to exploit your hunger to sell you things. It will (no joke) chime in towards the end of your fast to see if you’re “feeling hungry” and would like to buy some overpriced appetite suppressant. I found that very off-putting (if not downright wrong). That’s the most reprehensible sales pitch, but it’s certainly not the only one. Do not recommend.

I Wanted to Like This. I will start by saying the one pro is that it alerts you when to start and stop fasting! But I have so many more cons: 1) It doesn’t adjust if your calories for each meal if you go over/ under what is “recommended”. 2) It is not linked or set up with many food chains and it’s hard to track when you eat out. 3) The conversions of servings are not at all accurate! If something is measured by cups on the box, the app defaults to grams or ounces and also doesn’t automatically start out with one serving. It’s hard to figure out the right measurement. 4) Customer service states they will respond within 48 hours and they do not, even after follow up requests. Most importantly, it says you can buy and “try” for 14 days but they don’t seem to want to offer a refund if you aren’t happy. They don’t have a true trail period. DONT BUY THIS.

Love it!! BUT…. I absolutely love the 3/4 features of tracking (water intake, steps walked, and weight tracker) however logging food is actually pretty difficult because there is not a huge selection of items pre-loaded into the app. So every time I want to log a meal, I have to manually put everything in unlike another very popular app where there are millions of meals and items that are easily “loggable”. That is really my only complaint. I love the fasting tracker feature as it really keeps me on track with my fasting window. I love the ability to have a widget for my Home Screen of my phone to be able to quickly see how far I am into my eating or fasting window!

Caution auto renewal with authorization. The app does what it’s supposed to do tracks well. My complaint is the auto renewal takes place without any notification to the customer. When life presents unexpected occurrences, such as taking care of elderly parents, we tend to fall off our health goals. So this is just a caution to anyone purchasing the app please mark your calendar for 48 hours prior to your yearly renewal to cancel your subscription. Canceling is through the venue you purchased meaning App Store or computer. It’s very frustrating. Their website offers information but really, no customer support. Good luck with your health journey.

Poor business, refused to honor discount. I had looked at this program and then didn’t purchase. A few minutes later, I received an additional discount in email. I decided to purchase but PayPal would not work no matter which of my verified payment accounts I used. So I ended up having to pay directly in the app. When I changed payment options, it dropped the discount and I didn’t notice it before the payment had gone through. I immediately notified them, requesting that the discount amount be refunded. They refused and never offered any discount on any in app purchases to compensate. Several emails later snd they still refuse to honor the discount they offered. Fir that reason, I refuse to go further business with them, immediately cancelling any auto renewal. Although the amount was not a lot, the poor and dishonest business practices have left a bad taste and are the cause of the poor review. I would give zero stars if I could. Note: Thanks for the response below, but I’ve already gone back and forth with 3 people at that email address and been told there’s nothing they will do to correct the billing. And this link doesn’t go to anything but a new blank email to start all over again. No thanks. Poor, poor customer service!

Not user friendly. Because I paid for this app I’m using, but this app needs to be updated to this century. Other apps I’ve used that are free and so much easier to use and log nutritional value. Other apps you just scan the package and it automatically pulls in all the information. With this one I put some thing in and it doesn’t even exist in their database. Simple items are “not found” and I have to manually insert the info. Very frustrating to use…after my one month that I paid for is over I will definitely not be using this anymore. Such a waste of money. On the plus side I’ve lost 7 lbs, That that has to do more with my willpower then actual help from the app.

0 stars. One of the worst apps I’ve used ever and I still have 2 months left on my subscription. Do not buy- it may help fasting but will raise your blood pressure because it’s so frustrating. If you forget to log your start fast the night before it’s not simple to update or edit. The chat dropped me twice while trying to answer questions. I screen shot some directions they provided and those sections aren’t in my app. So as far as I’m concerned you can’t customize your water intake- use the preset only or adjust up and down but it jumps by 1.5oz?? Then if you didn’t religiously log all your food- forget it! Can’t go back to yesterday to add meals or adjust. I’m going back to free apps that maybe don’t offer articles, etc but I can find all that on the internet myself. Save your money on this one.

Basically a fancy alarm clock of when to start fasting. Save yourself the money and set an alarm instead of using the app to track when to start fasting and to start eating. That’s basically all the app does. The app tracks your weight which you have to input manually unless you buy their scale. On top of it, I signed up for the 6 month subscription that had an auto renewal. No contact from the company letting you know your subscription is about to renew and won’t refund you if you don’t cancel 48 hours before the auto renewal period. I used this for 1 month out of my 6 month subscription. I can keep track of my fasting on my own, you don’t need an app to tell it when you started fasting and then started eating again. Set an alarm for 16 hours and don’t eat til then. Now I have it for 6 more months because it auto renewed. Not worth cost of the subscription.

Borderline scam IMO. I got this subscription in March and canceled in April/ May. It is now June 29 and I am getting a charge for a subscription renewal. I contacted through live chat, and they said that my subscription was not canceled even though I canceled it in no longer had the subscription through Apple. They are only refunding me 50% of what they took out of my account. And that was after trying to bribe me and have me continue to be a customer. You would think a company that charges so much money for a product would be more willing to give back $48 to someone who they were charged even though they had canceled their subscription. Just a heads up in case you were thinking about using this company I wouldn’t.

Can I give it zero stars?. This might be the worst app and the worst customer service. I was “influenced” to buy it from an IG account I follow. I thought the $69 price tag was a little much but did it anyway. After 3 weeks, I was so frustrated with the constant crashing of the app, deleting all saved information, clearing all my progress, etc…I deleted the app. It offered absolutely no benefit over setting an alarm on my phone to stop/start my fasts. There are several free apps that do more than this one. Six months later, I get charged again. No email, text, etc saying it was going to be charged. I immediately contacted their customer service (like within 30 mins of the charge). I receive a response a day later saying because I didn’t cancel my account, they can only offer a partial refund. I re-download the app and cancel my account. I respond and say I want a full refund. Now they are saying because I cancelled my account, they no longer have my information to issue a refund. I’ve offered my PayPal info with screenshots of the transaction…zero response. DO NOT WASTE MONEY!!!!

Worst app - rip off!. Accidentally purchased and immediately emailed asking to cancel and refund. They took three days to respond, no phone number to contact-no surprise since it conveniently makes it hard to resolve issues sooner than later. I read the reviews on here and new it was a mistake. I did not login and just wanted a full refund. They wrote back offering 50%! I wrote back and said no, I want a full refund. I’ve never used the app and immediately emailed them after hitting the button to sign up. Now another three days and no response. Calling to dispute charges and contact the BBB. The lack of a live person is shady and is a huge red flag. Don’t do it! Skip this app.

Find a better option. For an app that’s supposed to help you develop good habits, you’d think the devs would make something stable. Here are the issues I’ve had since using the app: - Lost intervals. I’m not sure why, but the app couldn’t, on multiple occasions, track fasting intervals that went from one evening to the next, and reset my progress entirely due to a missed day. - Lost my entire routine due to an update. - For some reason thinks water only comes in very specific numbers of ounces, like 11 and 17. You have to choose multiple, pre-set increments where a simple number field would do. - Calorie tracker is limited and entirely useless. - Crashes frequently - Sometimes gets stuck on a random day in 1969, which loses your progress. Worst of all, the devs haven’t bothered to include any kind of account management inside the app. This means that to cancel a subscription, you have to submit a request through the AppStore if you signed up on the app or their website if you signed up online; the accounts *don’t carry over*. I had to search for that information online, it’s nowhere in the app! When I finally managed to start the cancellation process rolling, their support had the nerve to offer me a 50% refund despite disputing the charges THE SAME DAY for a service I hadn’t used in months. Find a better app! This is a badly designed scam!

Poor. I first signed up and then changed my mind, due to the cost ( me and my wife, the next day after canceling it my bank account was charged for 3 memberships . After about 1 week I finally got a refund for 2 of my memberships. This month I was charged for 2 memberships again after I was assured that it was canceled. Now I'm in limbo again for the 2 memberships. July 22. : again I was charged $37 for a subscription that was canceled and assured me that it was canceled back in April. I have contacted the fraud department in my bank to handle this. I have attempted one more time to contact the company concerning This ! Back in April I was assured that my subscriptions for both me and my wife were canceled. Do yourself a favor and don’t even sign up. This is very poor business practices and this company an app should be banned.

Unethical business practice. Please be warned about this company and this app. I was interested in this app 6 months ago. I had a look at it however decided that it was bit for me. I'm not sure how it happened but at the time I ended up becoming a member unintentionally and was billed for 6 months. It's possible that I thought it was a free trial and and forgot to cancel in time, but I really don't remember and don't know. I went 6 months without ever using or even without downloading the app. 2 days ago I was billed for another 6 months. I only found out when I saw my credit card statement, initially assuming that it was a fraudulent transaction. I later discovered that it was an un-authorised extension to my membership. I should have been given a reminder or some form of notification that I was about to be billed. This would have A) Informed me that I was a member (which I was not aware of). B) given me an opportunity to cancel before I was billed. The company is refusing to refund me for the next 6 months of a service that I never used nor intend to use. They claimed that it's their legal right to charge me without further consent from me because I ticked the Ts and Cs box 6 months ago. If a company resorts to such a practice to make money then they a clearly desperate and it's worth steering clear of them .

The last couple of updates have really been horrible. I really liked this app. It gives me something to hold myself accountable to. But the last couple of updates have not been good. At first, when I log in sometimes everything is zero and I can’t start/stop a fast. By everything zero I mean my water intake/goal is 0/0. My calories are 0/0. So I have to close all the way out. This last update makes it so when I open the app it goes to a sign in page. If I close it and go back into it, it flashes between my fast page and the log in page. 🤞 this newest update fixes all of this. But my biggest complaint is when I add custom foods, I have to keep adding them. And if I manage to find it in the search, I have fill in all the micros again. Very frustrating. But it is free so you can’t really beat that. And I have lost almost 20 pounds since the beginning of March.

Unreliable at best. I’ve been using the app for about two weeks. It has crashed completely and logged me out four different times now, twice losing the start or end time of a fast. This is worst if you happen to be in a parking garage or elevator with no data connection. Once you do get logged back in, there is no way to manually enter the data for a fast or change a record once it is saved. The articles and advice are blandly generic and what info they contain is easy to find in a decent book or blog. I just wanted a simple app to track a basic 16:8 program, instead I get frustration and constant emailed ads to buy extremely expensive (even after their “discounts”) supplements. Worst money I’ve put into an app.

Interesting but it has some bug misses. This is the first IF App I’ve used. Issues I have… entering food the calories & macros don’t save so you have to input the data all over again for the same meal. The water has blocks of amounts to track so you can put in 30oz you have to put in 32 oz. There is not Apple Watch app. If you find it let me know cause I really want that. Thinks I love are the count down timer. Integration with my exercise apps although it doesn’t provide much information like “walk 1 more mile to lose a pound this week” I probably should have tried a free app first.

Unstable and poor customer service.. I have been fasting for close to 3 months. I purchased this app because I liked the easy interface (I don’t need anything fancy). However, over the last month or so, the app has gotten so unstable that I am forced to delete and redownload just to keep up with my fast. Support tells me to just redownload as needed. That is unacceptable when there are tons of better alternatives. I would encourage anyone thinking about fasting to explore other options. There are many more affordable and stable options on the market. I contacted customer support to see if there was anything that could be done. I didn’t want to lose my months worth of data, but the live chat just parroted the FAQ. “Update your IOS or redownload.” Not at all helpful. Additionally, they won’t refund any part of your sub payment if it is past 14 days. Beware.

Encorahinh.. I gained 25 pounds recently it felt like it happened in a week. Of course it was a eat. I’ve been trying to diet and having no luck. I’ve heard about intermediate fasting. That’s kind of how I live my life I stay up all night and paint and sleep past the day and get up and eat my big change is no snacking it was a lot easier than I expected and I love the app. I hate to cook and I hate keeping track of points. Everything on the app is fast to cook and healthy and the kind of food I like anyway. Customer service is excellent and I look forward to their daily emails. I highly recommend go fast as a way to lose weight easily. I just got an email that it’s OK to take breaks. That was really encouraging because I was going to take a week break for Christmas and I was feeling guilty. So to get that is very encouraging.

Unable to login. Update. I paid for this app 15 days ago. I have never been able to sign in. I made an error with email addresses (used 1 to pay, but initially signed in with a different address). In over 20 emails to Support, the only advice I have received is to change my password. Which I have done. Several times. Without getting signed in. I restarted my phone, I deleted and reinstalled app. And, I kept trying to change my password. I have still never been able to open the app. I asked for a refund, that email was ignored. I would love to actually review the way this app works. However, I can only review Support. And Support seems to be nonexistent. The developers contacted me after ai posted this review, and said they would get back to me within 48 hrs. That was on June 6. Today is June 13, and I have not heard anything further.

Ok for beginners, but don’t pay for it.. I’ve had this app for over a year. It’s definitely taught me enough about fasting and now I’m actually on the right track with self-discipline to loose weight. However it doesn’t always save your data, and it’s insanely easy to completely loose track of your day, and I’ve even gone to “end a fast” and then it doesn’t appear on my weekly report. It’ll say I skipped an entire fast, when I didn’t. Customer service is no help either, and canceling is a pain…don’t pay for it, but it’s a good app with potential, it just feels like no one is paying attention to it anymore because it’s always glitching out and now it’s even starting to crash on me. I’m gonna delete it, but for the first few months it taught me enough to do it all on my own with the notes app on my phone.

Pushy, take your money!. This app tries to squeeze every dollar possible out of you. I had entered my credit card in order to pay $7 for a week trial. As I was trying to submit the payment it continued to bring up screen after screen asking if I wanted to add this or that or pay for a six month subscription instead. Ultimately I accidentally purchased a much larger plan. I immediately contacted support to request a refund. A week later they responded with, “we’re sorry, we’ll give you a life time membership” I said I’m happy to try the app, I just wanted a trial. That constituted accepting their offer and they will jot issue a return. I have never downloaded the app or used the service in anyway. I have no idea if what they offer is worth it, as they are such pushy salesmen.

Falls Short of Expectation. I have been considering intermittent fasting for some time to help shed a few pounds. As it turns out I was pretty much doing intermittent fasting by eating one meal a day at lunch time with coffee and fiber thins only at breakfast and skipping dinner. I stop eating pretty much around 3 PM until 11 AM the next day. What this app helps with or attempts to help with is set your goals and give you a way to track it. Well, when it comes to meals and their calories the list is significantly lacking but they give you a way to enter your own meals and their nutritional values. However, you have to manually enter it every single time even though there is a tab labeled favorites but no way to add meals to that list I was told by customer service representative I chatted with today! Extremely disappointing. Maybe I should have gone with Zero instead which has 5 star rating but you cannot tell with these apps since you have to pay to take them for a test drive.

Phenomenal Results. I use to weigh 230 lbs and now i weigh 176! Its a miracle! Im a 38 year old women, had 2 kids, so you know how hard it is to lose weight in my condition. Ive tried diets but i would give up almost instantly. Ive heard of fasting, but was too scared to try it as i didnt want to starve for long periods of time. However, the app provides the schedule for me, and i dont starve between fasting periods at all. It made it easier for me to follow and its been almost 6 months now, and ive lost 54 lbs! It takes commitment but the app really does make it simpler. Highly recommend if you’re trying to fast

Can’t access an app that I’ve paid for!. I decided to do a trial of this app on 6/26. And while going through the sign up process they gave me a great offer for a 12 week membership so I bought it. But after using it for that 1st week, I got kicked out of the app and told I had to resign up with a new membership again. Reached out to customer service the same day 7/3, with pictures of my purchase, and my order number. And 3 days later I finally get a message back telling me to uninstall the app and relog in. Doesn’t work, so I message back to customer service what I’ve done. Only to find out it goes back to the general inbox, instead of the rep that I was working with, and now I have to wait another 24-48 business hours. So now it’s been another 5 days…the weekend. And I STILL have not heard back from customer service. It’s been well over a week at this point since I was able to log into the app. I’m beyond frustrated that I’ve wasted money on this and can’t even use it. Don’t buy this service. If you have any problems with it, customer service is a nightmare to work with. If I could leave 0 stars that’s what they would get.

Start / stop / reset fasting plan Buggy - need fixing. I have been using the app for about 5 months to track my fasting which I started around 8 months ago. Ocassionally I forget to hit stop fasting or start fasting due to being very busy, occupied etc. if the delay in starting / stopping the fast has been long enough that the fast/ eating period has rolled over into the next day and you have missed an entire eating or fasting period, and You have to edit the start or stop time - almost always the app becomes unstable. It will ask me to “reset the fasting plan” but if you have had to select reset, often nothing will happen, you will be looking at the timer and waiting for the start / stop option to appear but nothing happens. I have to shut down the app and leave it for a few hours when it seems to right itself. Also integration with Apple Watch doesn’t seem to work - I will get the pop up on my watch “tap here” to start or stop the fasting/eating period, but it doesn’t work. Tapping on the watch does nothing.

Not as advertised. I thought I was going to get more guidance on how to do fasting right for me. It seems to trial and error which fasting schedule to select. There is no fasting schedule recommended after completing the questionnaire. I am not sure how this makes any difference as advertised. It states there is a specific way one should break a fast, but not much information provided. Many of the foods to choose from to track meals only allows for choosing one portion none is given to choose 1/2 portion or any percent of a portion. I have choose something similar to track what I ate.A week on this doing 17-7 fasting and walking 5 miles every day and not even an ounce lost!

DO NOT BUY - CUSTOMER SERVICE LIES TO YOU. Doesn’t work well.. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. I am waiting nearly a month for a refund. Considering they’re headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania I think I’ll have to go to AMEX to fight for the refund. Before all this, the app didn’t work for weeks and weeks and I complained and asked for refunds on the app and scale, which Karolina promised me that I would get snd to hold on, though because it’s a wonderful app. Then, the App suddenly worked. I really found the app lacking. It doesn’t talk to MyFitnessPal nor can you enter any exercise. It also gives lousy nutritional information. MyFitnessPal combined with a FitBit is much better. In the time waiting for this refund and app to work, and emailing Karolina from customer service, I had asked about her scale I had bought to go with their program, and she wrote me it work great on its own. When I finally opened their scale, it didn’t work. It’s made of thin, cheap plastic and for tiny feet. When I emailed, Karolina said it ONLY WORKED WITH THE APP, AND I COULDN’T GET A REFUND because I had it over two weeks. WOW! LET’S JUST LIE TO A CUSTOMER TO PREVENT A REFUND OVER A $100 SCALE. Wow!! In conclusion - DO NOT BUY. DO NOT GET SNOOKERED, like I did.

Not a Sophisticated App. Think twice before hitting the purchase button for this App. The service doesn't provide any features you can’t get from other Apps and content that are totally free over the internet or already exist on your phone. It does not allow you to customize a specialized plan that works for your lifestyle or goals. When I realized this and requested a refund the response I received was that they were not obligated to provide any refunds and declined to do so… It appears they are just in this for a quick buck and not interested in providing a quality service. Disappointed but lesson learned. Anyway, I thought I would share my experience to help other people avoid wasting their hard earned money like I did. I am sure there are other quality fasting apps out there but this is not one of them.

Regrets. App constantly freezes up . Can’t enter water consumption during fasting periods nor use any of the apps functions during the fasting period. Trying to get recipes for example. Page just freezes and counts down your fasting but no other access to app during this time. Also the entering of meals is not very user friendly as the save button is right over the portion selection so can’t see what you are selecting. You have to enter blindly then use edit function to correct. I can’t believe I picked this app of all the apps out there and put my hard earned money into it ! I really regret this decision and would take it back if I could. Don’t have regrets- pick another one!

Thief. They’re thief’s. Charged my card long afternoon I canceled the service and are refusing to refund my monies. There are far more professional fasting services. DONT USE THIS ONE. They WILL steal from you and act as if they can’t do anything about it and the actual app is super underwhelming. I paid for it and only used it for a couple of weeks because it was just not a good service. Now they’ve charged me again without my permission. Pretty crappy. (UPDATE: I know how to cancel my subscriptions and did so as well as deleted the app so this response below seems a bit save face oriented and wants to paint the customer out as having not done something right which is annoying. Again, there’s a million fasting apps out there with better quality content and business practices. DONT USE THIS ONE. They still haven’t refunded my money. Crooks I tell ya. 🙄)

Very limited. I wanted to like the app and the program. But the app is really not user friendly. I cannot reset my fasting if I get off track. There’s limited interaction with the health app, like for example, getting my weight from there. It gets my steps, no my weight measurements, or water intake. Since I do it in other apps and they all sync with the health app, I do not need it to keep logging all calories, water and weight in all of them. I cannot restart my fasting unless you spend too much time without fasting. All in all, great potential. More interaction with other measurements from the health app would help. A reset button would also help, mainly if you’re adjusting your schedule to fit your needs.

Review. I have been using this for 3 months and overall I like the app. I think with a few improvements it would be outstanding. I find logging in meals time consuming and it is frustrating that I can’t pull a meal from a prior entry to todays entry. It would save a lot of time. I create most of my meals and these should be saved under favorites so I can pull them up as needed. The listing of foods with calories are all based on ounces and one portion. Example: an egg is not measured by ounces but rather how many you use. I spoke not use the apps food list as it is not accurate. If I find a listing and it is calculated on one portion it doesn’t allow you to adjust it up or down. Once it’s entered I can go to the overview and adjust it but this is 2 steps. You should look at the Weight Watcher app as it is very user friendly and keeps all your entries. I realize this is additional work but it would greatly improve the app.

Great App! Motivates Me!. Between daily tasks of keeping track of your calories in water and excellent meal suggestions… The helpful tips that they send all the time through email and texting are excellent and very motivational.… And finally being able to simply track things with the push of a button on the app whether it’s your fasting time. Or how much water you drink or how many calories you ate it is very helpful to stay on track with this app it really motivates me. I am seeing results!

Terrible app. I loved the idea behind this app and thought it would be helpful as I am new to fasting. But this is certainly not worth the cost. The food data base is very small and the app does not retain the calorie or macro information from entries the day before. So this information has to be manually entered no matter how frequently you might eat the same food. I literally have to look up a food on my other fitness tracker to get the macros to enter every time I eat. Even when I try to add a recent entry I still must manually enter the calories. Water can only be entered in the measurements pre loaded, and when you try to manually enter it, you still cannot type in the amount you want to enter. This is just not worth the money at all.

Horrible Customer Service. Find yourself a better product. I signed up and hated the service and tried to cancel and thought I had. Three months later I get charged a recurring payment. I email requesting for them to reverse the charge as I have never logged in again after being disappointed in the first week and they place blame and do not offer to refund the recurring charge. Horrible customer service and a scam for collecting funds from people who did not like their service. There are better companies in the digital wellness space that stand behind their product and provide a full refund when customers are dissatisfied. I guess you can see in the app rating I’m not the only one, and they just want to scam for your money.

Disappointed. I was under the impression that this app would be much more inclusive of all the categories necessary to manage your IF lifestyle. The food portion is really frustrating to manage and navigate/doesn’t save your favorites. It Has no ability to scan barcodes to save time. It’s really cumbersome. Even the water entry is difficult. If you forget to add water, you can’t adjust the time the next day. It could be greatly improved if they spent some time on the food/meal portion. As of now, I am essentially using it as a timer and that feels like a waste of $$. I am hoping the technology improves as I was Upsold into a year that I bought prior to using it (my bad).

Not worth it. It’s just a fasting timer and a few extra bits of info - also doesn’t highlight on the app description that it’s a subscription service. The name on payments doesn’t reference dofasting either - thought I was being scammed and when I contacted the company for refund to cancel subscription never heard back from them - needed to get PayPal to cancel subscription however no refund as it was a subscription- misleading and certainly not worth $100 a year - don’t generally post negative reviews but this is one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had - if I could give zero stars I would.

Loving DoFasting. I like how it keeps me on track, particularly my water intake which I really struggle with. The features of the app are really easy to use and functional. The over all look of the app is lovely as well as practical. Love the suggested recipes, they really take do the hard lifting on what to eat.

Lack of support. I have paid for this subscription and cannot access - I feel the support is from an AI as the same questions are repeated over and over - so I’m out of pocket and can’t access the product.

NEVER AGAIN. Beware using this app. In subscribing, even for a trial you are signing a payment agreement. Even if you cancel the subscription on your apple account, it still exists in PayPal and it is not easy to find. They will take payment regardless of having cancelled subscription. You need to cancel the payment agreement. Many many complaints online. Look up Kilo Grule. They are the company that takes the payment. Appears many people getting caught out by this company.

Untrustworthy. I was mislead by their pricing so bought unintentionally. Contacted support who told me they would respond within 48 hours. It’s now 72 hours and no word. Emailed again. Same, same. Contacted them 6 hours ago on Messenger. Initial contact made and then nothing… really poor effort. Looks like I will have to contact my bank. BEWARE!

Excellent Motivation. Great app to keep you on track and motivated. Highly recommend!

Payment scam. The app presents itself as a fitness tool, but has a sinister intent. Once downloaded, the app requires a payment of a seemingly once off fee to use, however I discovered 3 months later that I had signed up to a subscription with no easy way to cancel. I received no confirmation email that I had subscribed to anything and nothing is listed in my apple subscriptions. From multiple attempts at cancelling this payment i have been met with many walls and have told my bank to block these payments. Not worth it for an app who’s only feature is an alarm to tell you when to start/stop eating...

Can’t even get into app. There must be heaps of issues with the app as once I downloaded it, I couldn’t even sign up or start an account. All kinds of messages popped up like “session times out” when I had literally been on the app no longer than 10 seconds. Other messages came up to that were definitely wrong. Couldn’t start an account. Extremely frustrating! Deleted app now which is a shame because I feel this could have been really great. The developers need to make sure the app works perfectly.

Such a helpful app. It makes it easy for me to track my meals and calories. I am happy to use it

App is a scam. I’m really scared this app is a scam. The online reviews show that they do not honour refunds and keep charging people for products after they have unsubscribed. I am 3 days into a trial period and have emailed their customer support. Not looking good. I only signed up to this app because google told me it was affiliated with Dr Mindy Pelz. Looks like this was completely misleading and deceptive marketing. I can’t trust this company or their product. It looks like they don’t respond well to vexed customers, which is never a good sign. I now have to cancel my credit card because I don’t trust they won’t try to scam me as they have done other customers.

Dont get fooled. Not a good app. I wasn’t aware that there was an ongoing subscription charge. Ap Only works if u pay subscription.

Review keeps losing my fasting data. Was very disappointed that an app which costs so much glitches and loses my fasting data when I save my fasts.

I like it. This latest update has everything I want. It’s still so easy to use but the new extra features and connectivity with my other health apps takes it from helpful to amazing.

Fraudulent. Beware!! You’ll get ripped off if you do the trial.

Only a few days in but I am thoroughly enjoying the app. Only a few days in but I am thoroughly enjoying the app because it manages my appetite quite well. It reminds you when the periods start and end and motivates/celebrates with with you depending to the period

The best option for everyone. Makes it easy to keep track of calories each day and see where I need to make adjustments throughout the day. Great list of activities to have an idea of how many calories I'm burning.

Great app. Been using the app for two days and having no problems. The visual layout is helpful as I can easily see my fasting times. I’m also liking that I can log my eating so that I become more mindful about what I’m consuming; however, finding the food in the app to log is not easy and I find myself going out of the app and using calorie king or my fitness pal to work out the calorie value. The meal and exercise suggestions look great and I’m looking forward to exploring this part of the program. I’m feeling confident that the app will help me get back on track with a healthy lifestyle.

I love this application. This app it’s the best, I’ve been fasting for 1 yr now and I just find this app recently and it makes my fasting time super easy. It reminds me when I finish so I don’t have to be aware of time or counting hours, it give me “rewards”. Conclusion: “Just Amazing” :)

Don’t waste your time you can get better apps for free. It’s a total money scam the app does absolutely nothing for you. I Signed up not realising it was in American dollars till I checked my bank account not even 5 minutes later, your fine print is disgusting by the way. Emailed straight away notifying them of the error as I thought it was 60 not 98. Explained this quite thoroughly and that I didn’t see anywhere that said US dollars and that if I knew this I would never of purchased it. Only to get back a rude email stating that it’s written there and it’s obvious I didn’t see it. (Light grey on a white background in the smallest font doesn’t really constitute what dollar your paying in) and to be told that your only getting back 50%. Or you can keep it for a year what’s your decision. Seriously your customer service as with your app needs a great deal of work. I’m lodging complaints with the American and Australian fair trade as what your doing is illegal. Don’t waste your money.

App. App is good for fasting, it doesn't have a lot of food in Australia.

Money grabbing. I signed up for a trial and received no further communication about my subscription or warning the trial was due to end. Just out to take your money.

Timer is good. Not sure about other features. Been using this app for 17 days now. The workout tracker doesn’t track anything. The suggested meals haven’t changed - must have a very small set of recipes to choose from. The weight tracker only accepts whole numbers- pretty useless if you lose 500 grams and you want to acknowledge that. The time of the weight tracker doesn’t match my time zone, so the date is often incorrect. If I make an error or want to change the weight recorded for the day I can’t. The timer is good. It has helped me to fast. I have to use different apps to monitor my activity and weight. I’m not convinced that all these positive reviews are real.

Overall, worth it.. Although a little on the pricier side, I prepaid for 6 months and the price works out ok. Although I agree that sometimes the app can glitch, overall I have had a positive experience using the app and I am happy with my decision to purchase. I have found the app really valuable - full of great informational and stats tailored to me. I have been using the app for 2 weeks so far and through using the app for assistance & accountability, I have lost a few kilos already. I am a visual person, so to see my progress reflected on the app is great. I find the app is great at reminding me when to fast, logging in foods & calories, logging in my weight, water intake as well as counting my steps. I have not used the workouts section yet as I don’t feel I need it, but for the fasting elements, so far… SO GOOD! For those on the fence, I would invest in yourself and give it a go. If you stick to the program (I am doing 16:8) you will see results. I am happy :)

Do fasting works. This simple app helps to maintain a focus that I have found difficult using other methods. The timer for me seems to be the key. I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet but I plan on doing that when I’m not travelling.

HUGELY DISAPPOINTED. I signed up for the $1 one week trial just to learn a bit more about fasting. Then out of nowhere a week later I’ve been charged $120. I never agreed to this subscription. I am struggling for money and now I can’t get a response from them. Unethical business practice. After waiting a week for an adequate response, was told that “that’s the way it is” and offered no solution. Don’t give them your money. Dishonest crooks.

A complete waste of money. Be aware this is a complete scam and rip off. They sign you up for a cheap 7 day trial and then if you forget to cancel subscription charge you $80USD subscription fee for a 3 month usage. I have complained as I tried to cancel prior and it didn’t process and they refuse to refund. The app is fine, extremely basic and essential just a timer, not worth the money at all. Be aware!!

Horrible service. Terrible service don’t use ever. Signed up for trial and was charged 3 months and then they cancelled that. Service non existent.

Good concept, buggy app. Great concept for the app, but very buggy. Trackers freeze or don’t record data regularly (even on paid subscription), the stop or start fasting button doesn’t always work, food tracker is difficult.

Basically a timer they charge $40/month for. I accidentally got the 7 day trial and didn’t cancel. My card got charged $123 for 3 months. I went into app to cancel and the cancel subscription button won’t work. Just keeps trying to up sell me. So dodgy!!! I hate businesses that operate like this. I have now put in a query to cancel and try to get a refund.

Save your money. I get more from a free app!

I have just started at 8pm last evening and I am going well.. I have just started at 8pm last evening and I am going well. I am very excited about it and hopefully I will get good results and lose weight on this app. So far it is great and I am able to fast and drink lots of water

Over charged. I signed up for 7 day trial for $9 was charged $60 I can’t seem to be able to cancel

Dofasting App. So far so good. I really like that this app keeps me accountable with my fasting & water intake. The recipes are also really super easy to follow. It has given me so much motivation to watch everything I’m eating. I like that the app has a 7 day free trail, so you can try to see if it meets your needs before purchasing.

Payment scam. I almost never leave a bad review but here it is . I deleted the app after paying my first three month subscription straight away. The Friday subscription was paid through a facebook ad. Especially after deleting of the app, I had no means of finding out I have renewal outstanding and didn’t receive a payment notice or receipt Until I checked my bank balance. The team apparently had a no refund policy which is absolutely unheard of in IOS apps.... The team also had tedious cancellation process. The subscription is not centralised under the Itunes platform and if you forget, there is no way to reverse It. Here it goes if 30 USD for absolutely nothing... would not recommend getting subscription unless you pay through Apple.

They are advertising heavily only to reap your info.. Somewhat misleading app... go through the whole signing up process like your personal details, age, weight, email and so forth to only offer you a high subscription to access. Time-limited no less lol (14 mins to grab) but every time load app same 14 mins! This is called scarcity tactic... what does that tell you? With no ability to test and see if the app is worth it... I suspect there not much value.. But hey they got the money out of you... So now they have my personal details that I don't know how to remove... looking into see if this complies with GDPR.

App does not match description and makes unauthorized charges. This app signed me up for direct debit through PayPal which I did not authorize. I only found out when I got an email from PayPal about the payment. I did not authorize direct debit. I am in hospital and can’t use a app like this anyway. I found out it was a scam when I googled the company name and it showed up the name of an app I looked at ages ago. Do not download they will just take your money. All it is is a glorified clock. When I looked I couldn’t even put in my own foods you can only track recipes in the app. Totally useless

Great App for Health & Wellbeing. I really like this app. It’s intuitive, easy to use and it’s really helping me to achieve my goals. I’m very impressed. Thank you DoFasting!

I LOVE this app!. I do the Custom fasting option as I can stop, start and adjust fasting times as I need to. I also really like that it keeps track of what is happening in the body, or beginning to happen, as fasting hours go by. I have found that knowing what is going on in my body really motivates me to stick it out and fast longer than I set out to most days.

Fasting. Great very happy with my fasting and water intake and good food

Helped me lose weight but a couple of ongoing bugs. This app is helpful and tracking water count is really I think what made me lose weight because I’ve never drank so much water in my life, but in fact, it is an essential mat and without it, I’ve never been able to lose lose weight. So good part. It could definitely improve because it has a few bugs. Pretty well every problem you have in you write there Support to, they tell you to uninstall your app and reload it. It’s really inconvenient to constantly have to uninstall an app and reload it. The app needs a refresh button. I opened it at 7 am sometime and it’s still hasn’t started the new day. If I enter water intake in the tablet in my kitchen, it doesn’t appear in the app on my mobile phone. it also doesn’t allow you to save your own foods. They do appear in a recent list for about a week and a half, but I have a recipe that I eat regularly every three weeks or every two weeks, it gets really tedious re-entering the recipe and macro details. For any ongoing Maintenance the app is on it just can’t keep re-entering your own food over and over and over again.

Be careful signing up they make it very difficult for you to cancel!. Not only is this app terrible they are also very difficult to get your money back from. Be warned. Canceling the subscription in your Apple account DOES NOT WORK! they will continue to charge your account until you email them time and time again. I have still not resolved this issue and they have charged me twice now after I’ve tried to cancel. I have reported them and in the meantime FIND ANOTHER APP!

Clunky. I find the app very clunky. I’m trying to set challenges and can’t set them. It loads badly.

Great for at-home workouts!. I had this app on my phone for a couple weeks and decided to finally check it out due to having to workout at home for social distancing (COVID-19 outbreak) purposes. It’s a wonderful app! I love the variety of workouts, the visuals to show you how to do them, and the user-friendly layout. I am very happy I downloaded this and will continue to use it after this virus outbreak is over!

Love it. I’m loving this app. Tried a few.. This is direct and purposeful and really feels like a helper, not too much clutter. Clean, intuitive, functional. Let’s hope it helps me lose weight too (I’m on day 3, good so far!)

Great app. This app is great to keep track of your weight and food intake it helps keep a close eye on your calories and water intake, highly recommend this app.

Sucked me in. This worked well at the start and the interface easy to use. But it kept on dropping out and now completely useless after paying as I can’t even log in. 😩

Concerned. I purchased a subscription to this app through a Facebook ad. Paid my money, and a day later I still have no response or ability to login to the app. The subscription is not on my Apple account either. I’ve sent a support request but no response yet. Maybe I’ll hear back, but be careful subscribing through advertising as it’s outside of Apple and I’ve now got no ability to cancel through my Apple Account and I’d have expected instant access. No live help either - so buy, then just wait until someone gets back to you. Not the experience I’m used to when subscribing to apps. I’d wanted to start today but who knows how long I’ll need to wait? Happy to delete this feedback if I get an immediate response from Do Fasting

This is a very good app for beginners. It has many great tips and exercises. Many other apps of this kind have exercises that are lot more difficult to do, so beginners will always face problems by using other apps. But this app is wonderful.

App is a scam. Developer has no good intention to solve the bug in the apps. The main function of this apps is to build a timer and reminder of the intermittent fasting and the timer didn’t even work. Paid for 12 weeks and 1 week gone there’s no solution and the customer service only said please download the last app in which didn’t solve any problem and the error message always appear. Apps is telling me to eat from 11pm to 5am and fasting from 5am to 11pm. Are you try to kill me or what? Please return my money as this program is totally useless and a scam

App loading and use. App often doesn’t load and hangs. Very basic functionality and simple reminders only. Enjoy the exercise allocations but Wouldn’t pay for the plan further.

Money grab with very little information. Instead of showing my meal plan after I paid for a seven day trial I get pop ups trying to upsell instead of showing my meal and fasting schedule. It’s completely bogus. After reading reviews of people being charged after they have cancelled, I’m feeling a little nervous. Mot impressed with this company and expected a lot bett and considering it’s not a free app.

Nice in theory. The app is well designed and seems like it’d be helpful, but it’s so buggy it’s practically unusable.

Like the App but…. It’s too expensive

Do not download. I didn’t even open the app or finish the “on-boarding” process and they automatically charged 80$ US. Do not download the app unless you plan on spending over 100$ Canadian that they won’t refund.

DoFasting. I started off strong and did really well with good weight loss but after two weeks it slowed to a crawl. That was my fault as I was still enjoying wine and martinis during my 4 hour eating window… BIG mistake! Once I stopped drinking alcohol my weight loss returned with fabulous results. I still enjoy wine but now only once a week. I’m very happy with this program and will continue with it as a way of life.

Don’t do it. So I got the app thinking it was a great way to start my fasting and it was and it helped me at first … but soon found that I could do it easily on my own so I cancelled the subscription in the App Store like I’m supposed to, Only to find out a year later that they took my money again because the subscription isn’t in the App Store and when you try to go to the website it tells you to go to the App Store ( run around at its finest) finally got to email someone for them to offer me half of my cancelled subscription back and when I emailed back saying that was unacceptable and I would take no less then 75% if they really needed to be thieves they are now ignoring me ! DO NOT GET THIS APP!!

A must have for any weight loss journey.. Helped me keep track of daily caloric intake with ease.

Helpful App. I am really enjoying this app, it’s got a lot of features that help me to keep track of my calorie intake. However, I do find that the app has a lot of glitches and needs to be restarted often.

Very helpful. They do fasting app has been a great benefit to helping stay on track with fasting. Also, the meals are simple and very tasty.

Expensive. Expensive for what it is. No warning on auto renew for $70 every six months. Calorie counter limited. Glitchy.

Scam. This app advertised as a Dr Mindy Pelz app and before you know it you have purchased a very expensive fasting app but nothing to do with Dr Mindy Pelz.. They declined a full refund..for reason’s unknown other that you clicked so you accepted. Very shady..sick of people taking advantage of other people who work hard for there money .

Gofasting review. Most of the go fasting so is great, there’s been a better adaptation to adding restaurants and name brand stuff. The only hard time I find is with steps, if you do it without your phone you can’t add steps or any exercises either or household or outside duties too I’m enjoying it so far and I’ve lost 7 1/2 lbs in the first week Thank you Darlene

App needs a lot of work!. The app is terrible, it constantly freezes or loses track of what you enter (if you set things after the fact) so you have to update it again. And the widget is always out of date. Pick something else…

Scammers. I had the same experience as many people on this forum…cancelled my subscription within an hour of signing up,and continued to be billed twice, totalling over $169 Cdn. They claimed to have no record of my request to cancel, wanted emails for proof,of which there are none because that’s not how you have to submit your request. I had to cancel my credit card to be sure they wouldn’t charge me again.Total rip-off!

Fraud app, doesn’t give your money back. After accidentally clicking for the subscription, they took my money, when complained via email for money back within 48 hours, they didn’t reply and got trapped in a scam. Please don’t install it or buy this app.

Do Fasting app. I love this app. The fasting timer is excellent and keeps me on track for my fast. The app is very user friendly with excellent info. Thank you for creating this app. Celena

Ok tracker but needs better integration. Lots of great features but minimal integration with fitness trackers and macro trackers.

Waste of time & money. The food diary is just bad. Hard to find foods and change quantities, scanning items, useless. If you don’t make your entries the same day, you can’t go back to add them. Same with the fasting timer. This app should have a free trial period because if it did, I never would have signed up for it. Not impressed.

Avoid this app if you can. These people are scammers. They charged me full 3 months after i cancelled the dubscription back in june. Despite this they charged me again in September when my initial sibscription has already been cancelled When i complained they are find good reasons not to refund me and i habe to dig through all me past emails to prove my arguments Worthless useless and scammers

Easy. The program is easy to follow and gives me insentive to continue losing weight by explaining how to keep motivated, keep exercising and eat healthy. Great app!

Scam. Won’t allow you to cancel at all. No matter the instructions you follow! BE AWARE MONEY GRAB!!

Help. Not sure how the App works, would like instructions.

Not user friendly. Timer widget is great but the food and water tracking is definitely not very user friendly. I got so frustrated, I just stopped tracking anything and just use the app for the timer.

Great so far 😊. I literally just started using the app, but am not new to intermittent fasting. Tracking food isn’t always easy because sometimes the option to customize the portions isn't a available, so it’s not always accurate (e.g. I can’t track 1/4 of an avocado because the 1/4 isn’t an option in the list).

Overcharged !!!. I just signed up and have been charged for the 7-day trial, 3-month subscription AND the 36-month subscription! I should only be paying $99 but have 3 separate charges, totalling $160.40!! Makes me think it’s all a scam. Not a great way to start.

Customer service. Their customer service is fantastic I presented an issue and they resolved it right away . They were prompt and very helpful. Thank you dofasting PC

Trial is bogus. I did the trial and then cancelled and then a month later a charge shows up on my card for the 3 month amount. They won’t refund you because they say it’s past the refund time, but I cancelled on time! Don’t do it!

Do Fasting. The app is good when it comes to tracking the actual fasting/eating periods. However, worst app ever for tracking food or modifying water or food intake. Can’t add food into a meal AFTER the day is complete. Can’t modify serving sizes. No names on food. Everything has 100g as a default and many foods can only be recorded in 50 g increments. No rhyme or reason to calories per gram (100g is one vale, 75g doesn’t go down by 1/4, 85 Is the same as 100, etc. Absolutely awful. Customer service doesn’t reply in a timely manner and don’t read the information contained in an email. No phone # for customer service. Wouldn’t recommend the app to anyone who has used a decent tracking site such as WW, Noom, etc. This app doesn’t hold a candle to those sites for food tracking. Needs a LOT of work.

Don’t do it!. The app itself is okay. The program itself is misleading at sign up. It promises a personalized plan and yet there isn’t anything personalized about it. It got almost $200 out of me that they refuse to refund as well. I have tried! I realized after a Quick Look the app that this app does absolutely NOTHING that I can’t get from any free app or timer on my phone. When I explained this to customer service, they told me it wasn’t a good enough reason to ask for a refund. I’m disgusted with this attitude. Steer clear and go with a free app. FYI My Fitness Pal costs less for the premium and offers far more diversity and does the same thing.

You need to add food for tracking outside of your recipes. I tried tracking my meals but the only options in the food list is the foods from the recipes. If I want to add any other foods, I have to use the manual addition method which involves entry of A LOT of information…. All nutritional values per item (so imagine you have a salad… you’re entering each vegetable, and cheese you may have in it, your dressing, etc… it’s insane and impossible to keep up with

The logging of calories/foods need improvement. There is no barcode function and logging of foods is extremely limited. It’s too time consuming to add my own meals. Either I can’t find a food or the amount option is not varied enough. I have been using other apps to log my food so that I have an idea of the calories I use.

DO NOT USE THIS APP. They will charge you for things you haven’t agreed to and then will refuse to reimburse you. Steer clear. If I could give them -5 stars I would. I’m infuriated.

Excellent App With Tremendous Benefits!. This app is of great utility, for those who are extremely serious about fasting. The eating window timer, starting a fast, as well as the daily tasks and progress are all very convenient tools for tracking and managing one’s fasting sessions. I highly recommend using this app!

👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. I’ve found this app to be really user friendly and I appreciated that it would remind me when to fast and kept a timer for me. But despite doing a pretty extensive survey at the beginning where it asks for height, weight and activity level the app will tell you to eat only an incredibly small amount of calories. It says you can reach your goal weight in 2 months (you would assume with the fasting) but once you download the app and begin to use it, it will tell you that you should eat 1200 calories a day. Therefore the advertised weight loss time frame is actually due to an insane caloric deficit. This isn’t a safe way to lose weight and actually causes much more harm that it does any good. Telling people that they should eat at a 800+ caloric deficit so they can achieve their goals at the timeline they advertised is harmful and potentially dangerous. Do better.

Food section needs improvement. The food section doesn’t have much in it unlike My Fitness Pal where you can usually find what you want. It’s also problematic to enter your start and end fasting time if you forget to enter it one day and try and do it the next it messes everything up. Honestly, not a huge fan!

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING UP. The refund policy is horrible… you think you’ve cancelled your subscription, but then get charged again 3 months later 🤬🤬🤬

So far so good. I started using the app earlier this week. So far I am down 4.2 lbs. Feeling more energetic. Not having the sugar/carb cravings. App is easy to use. Lots of tips for success. Lots of recipies. I hesitated subscribing but decided to try it and am glad I did. Hoping this is not "placebo effect". If I continue to feel like I do now I will likely subscribe for another 3 months to really set my habits.

Would love more food options to plug into the calorie counter. App is great but limited food options, often finds myself having to toggle between this and LoseIt to check calories on something. Would be perfect if they just looped a bigger food database in

First time intermittent fasting. I’m about a week in and so far this app has really helped me keep track of my fasting window. I also find the widget very motivating because I can easily my fasting countdown!

Fasting is fun and really like the DoFasting app. Tried a 14 hour type fast for a week and thought this could work — didn’t loose any weight but I was feeling like this could work — then I read reviews on apps and decided to try DoFasting and this is a Game changer!!!it’s a great app and accountability is key in what I actually eat in my eating window — tracking is super easy and fun — and the articles available to read are motivating . July 11– I am enjoying this change and it’s not to intrusive on my life — I am starting “easy” and just skip breakfast and stop eating after supper — I am trying to track and do my exercise regularly — I eat out a lot for work so being mindful but still enjoy — I ate a bit more this weekend so decided not to weigh myself Monday -/ didn’t want to feel discouraged-

So motivational. This app is so well organized and keeps you on track with exciting content recipe ideas and motivational sharing! Truly, a great app

Be aware and cautious. Be aware when signing up for this app under any promotions. I tried the app under a $1 trial and didn’t feel it was for me. I deleted it shortly after. However somehow the trial signed me up automatically for renewal and it wound up costing me another $100 CDN for another 3 months. Seems that 3 months is the default renewal. It seems you only have 14 days after auto renewal to ask for a refund, far less than the typical time one might see a credit card statement. And no confirmation email is provided to inform you that you have renewed. Request for refunds were denied when asked in spite of me explaining my circumstances. I expect they catch a lot of people just trying to find an app to help their health goals, just to get ripped off

Beware of the promos and trial. Total scam. They make it appear like you have a free 3 month trial but for 1$ us but they charge you for 3 months after 7 days hoping you won’t notice the charge on your credit card.

Scam. Total scam, they charged me $55!

DON'T DO IT. Please read the other reviews that say they will take your money!!! They use tricky wording and not option to confirm your purchase. Even if you email them mere minutes after purchase, they will refuse to refund you!!!! Find another app- this one isn't it!!

Very easy to use, super helpful. Great app with different options for intermittent fasting. I really enjoy the simple and easy to use function of this app. Very easy to track the progress.

Scammers. Do not sign up!!! They use the credit card information you provide to keep charging you every 3 months. And then they will make very effort to avoid issuing you a refund!! Beware!!!!!!!!!

Great app - very useful. This app is great. It has a lot of useful features for somebody who is trying to improve their health. You can track water intake, number of steps get recipes that are customizable for your own taste, and many articles about health that can really help you to understand how your body works and how to get healthy and stay healthy.

I’m paying for this?. I paid $60 for. 3 month subscription. I have no idea why. It’s not worth it. The meal tracker is terrible and if they don’t fix there is not much point in having this. Very frustrating right now to have to use myfitness pal to figure out my meals and then log them into this app. Don’t waste your money.

Terrible refund policy. I tried getting a full refund for a subscription that auto renewed after the free trial but customer support said they can’t give me a full refund. Half a day’s work down the drain!

Terrible. I was very excited to try losing weight with this app. It’s terrible- I did everything they said - drinking water, fasting, watching what I ate. All I did was gain more weight. The calorie counter is awful - no database to use. Trying to navigate it is ridiculous. No support other than the Facebook group with people who fast for 24-36 hours. How is that even feasible? Everyone pitches this book to read - so spend more money to find out even more impossible ways to abuse your body snd starve it of nutrition. If you are thinking this will help - it won’t. Don’t ask for a refund - after 14 day in which you will not lose weight you are past the refund deadline.

Unethical cancellation policy. The app itself is good, no complaints here. But the company has a "policy" on auto-renews to only refund 50% of the $66 semi-annual fee if you forget to cancel. "Who's going to forget", you ask? I'd wager plenty of people, including yours truly. Life is just too busy to remember everything. What's more? EVERY company that I have an auto renew with has sent me a reminder as an overture of good faith. Not DoFasting. So good luck to you if you forget to cancel the auto-renew. I find this extremely unfair and borderline unethical. All other companies where I've cancelled after the auto-renew, have given me no pushback- none, nada, zilch....except for this one. $33 down the drain. I hope Dofasting sees this. Check out the negative reviews other than mine, on auto renew, there are plenty. My review will be copied and pasted to every review site I can find, up to and until I get a full refund from this company- that's MY policy. Caveat Emptor

DO NOT use this app and company!. I foolishly did not read all the reviews and I paid for the app and bought a scale and beverage. I am not able to access the app no matter how many times I try to reset my password. I’ve reached out to customer service multiple times, and all they do is tell me to reset my password. They have also told me they cannot refund anything that I purchased which I have asked for. They say the only way they can do that is if the app is broken, broken, which it obviously is! This is obviously a scam to get your money and there is no way to get in touch with anyone beyond email and they do not satisfactory respond. am beyond frustrated!!

Mediocre. I did not have any problem canceling my subscription but you have to do cancel the way you signed up. 1. On the website Or 2. On your mobile device Settings. Or 3. Through email. The instructions for canceling are clear. I was able to cancel the same day I signed up. However, the food database is greatly lacking. Other food tracking apps are superior to this. I’m still l learning my way around the app but I will not stay after my initial time I paid for.

Keeps charging me. Avoid this App! I downloaded a bunch of fasting apps a year ago to see which one I liked. DoFasting makes you put your credit card in, which is fine. I decided to go with one that fit me better. I canceled my subscription at that time, deleted the account and went in with my life. Today I find I was charged $67 for something I haven’t used for 364 days and cancelled. They said they send out an email before charging you but I looked back in my inbox, junk and deleted mail and found no such email. If they have a great product they don’t need to secretly charge people! Use at your own peril!

It has gotten a lot better…. But there are still a fair number of glitches. One that is particularly uninspiring is that from time to time when your weight has stayed the same, you’ll get a message saying “We noticed your scales have gone up.” Not cool, Do Fasting. Also it would be really great if food records lasted longer than a week. Within a single week, you can add a meal or ingredient that isn’t in the app and not have to re-add all the info. After that week, no matter how often you consume this item; you have to start over.

!!!!WARNING!!!! Fraud!!! Do NOT purchase! It’s over priced!. There are many FREE Fasting services that offer the same and if not better information! I signed up to this service, as they promised a tailored plan for myself. I checked it out and realized that this is no different or worst than any other fasting program I have tried for free. I was certain that I canceled, day 1 of the free trial and did not think anything about it after. Feb, 29th 2024, I was charged $79+. I kindly explained to them the above the same day as the charge, and they refuse to refund my money. They are not friendly and their customer service is extremely poor! There are so many free fasting services available and this company is definitely a fraud in what they promise! Now, I am out of $80 that I desperately need, and have ZERO use for this service! I recommend Fasting Like a Girl! I was hoping this company was similar with their “unique tailored plan” they are NOT AT ALL!

Paid features are wonky. I am a paid subscriber and was really excited to use the app. The first few weeks were great, up until I started updating the app. The app has trouble saving fasting/eating times even after I have saved it. Sometimes, I will come back into the app to remind myself what time I can start eating… and low and behold, the app did not save my fasting or it will log me out. I keep restarting the app to refresh it but it is getting to the point that I can’t use this. I hope they make a more stable new release soon.

Super glitchy and doesn’t work. Logged in for the first time in a while (about a year) and this app is not super glitchy and basically worthless. I wanted to to set things up so my fasts would start at 6pm and for some reason it automatically has them starting right now (6:56am) and everything I try to change it to pm the app closes itself out and disappears from my phone screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall — still happens. I tried closing out ALL my apps and starting over — still happens. This use to be great but is now frustrating and useless. I’m now on a hunt for another fasting app option.

Overpriced. This app is basically a fancy timer with some helpful information about fasting which most likely can be found though a google search. During the sign process there were SEVERAL upsell promotions including two smart scale offers which was a bit off putting. I opted to convert my membership from the 3-month to the 36-month (aka Lifetime Membership) because I interpreted the $99 price to also be a conversion — which it was not. It was $99+$base membership, definitely some tricky language. So I feel more duped than anything after signing up and using it a couple days.

Super buggy app. I’m using this app and find it useful , but its very buggy. I run a mobile engineering team myself and find the quality lacking. The app keeps switching between logged in and logged out states. Also with the latest update it lost my fasting plan and even after adding it back it wouldn’t start from the previous day (when I started the fast). I had to start the fast today morning first and then edit it to mark it as starting yesterday. You guys really need to fix these issues.

Lifestyle Change. It’s the easiest way to maintain a healthy weight. Diets do not work. Intermittent fasting does! Having an app that monitors my fasting makes losing weight a “no brainer”. I’ve become so accustomed to drinking water that I don’t even track my water intake anymore. Drinking water has become an automatic practice. I’ve not really used the recipes, but monitor my portion size and focus upon eating non-processed foods.

Not a great app. I’ve used a LOT of dieting and food tracking apps over the years. I was really hopeful this would be a good app because I’m about 3 months into fasting and decided to take things up a notch. The recipes are great. Tracking my fasts is such a neat idea with the widget. Except that the app is terrible at tracking my fasts. Great idea. Needs a lot of work. Unfortunately I wasted a month subscription on something that doesn’t work well. I’m am fully committed to 24 hour fasts now, so I guess that’s a plus. I’m going back to MyFitnessPal. So much better all around.

Woefully Inadequate. Paid for a 6-month subscription and really wished I had read all the reviews first. No way to add workouts and log calories burned. Calorie tracker offers very few options. Does not communicate with Apple Watch. About the only things that it does is set a fasting timer (which I could easily do on my phone timer or look at a clock) and track water intake. It does offer some exercise workouts and articles to read that are only mildly interesting. Other apps do far more in terms of calorie and exercise tracking and cost much less. After one day, I feel that I have wasted money.

AWFUL AND TAKES MONEY OUT AFTER CANCELLING. This app is bogus, as are the people that run it. I originally purchased it in 2020 but after attempting to use it I quickly realized it was a waste of money and discontinued using it. Got a renewal notice in 2021 and canceled my subscription. Never received an email again, and then on June 21st of 2023 I noticed that this app automatically withdrew money from my bank account. No email received about any renewal notice, no emails had been received since 2021. I contacted customer support which was very much unsupportive, stating they didn’t have any cancellation from my email address, to which I pondered, then why haven’t I been receiving any of their emails since 2021…wouldn’t I have been on their mailing list? Also, why didn’t this get renewed in 2022 if I had been using it all along? They finally agreed to refund my money, and it’s been almost two months and I haven’t received my refund. If you are interested in fasting, you don’t need this stupid app to help you do it.

Fasting Tracking & Then Some. The app is very interactive to keep you on track with all your fastings. The best part I found, is it offers lots of delicious recipes for different dietary types, as well as fitness videos from beginners to experts. A great way to feel included because there’s something for everyone to use within this app. I recommend it, especially from someone who’s recovering from an injury and can’t do certain exercises yet.

First week was decent. Although I really like the app, I gave it 4 stars because I think the feature to add water intake should allow a more specific input for increments of 1 ounce. However, the notifications are on point. Recipes I’ve tried were tasty as well. I am on Day 10 and doing well overall. I could probably make some improvements in the meals. Being more prepared and having a variety of healthy food choices on demand.

Money paid for plan and can’t access. I bought a 3 month plan. It wouldn’t load in the app. It kept telling me I had to purchase another pan. So I deleted my account thinking there was a glitch. Still couldn’t access after resetting my account. Contacted the company for a refund. They won’t refund since I deleted my information and re-signed up. They say they have no record of me paying and can’t find me. So they closed my support issue and I’m out $60. Seems fraudulent. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Hope to get my money back. Beware, it’s super shady.

Needs serious updates. Water: Doesn’t allow for accurate water intake entries. It only provides options for amounts not available in my country. Even the custom setting skips numbers. Step goals: are set at 8,000. App won’t allow you to change it to a higher goal. Without a real goal to work towards what’s the point of exercising? Food Entries: The searched for food entries don’t contain accurate information. Self entered custom entries disappear after a week. Forcing me to renter them continuously. They also can’t be entered as a favorite. App meals are the only ones that can be set as a favorite.

Great Fasting app!. This is an awesome and unique fasting app that’s easy-to-use, organized and user-friendly. I love the the ability to choose from multiple fasting types and all the provided recipes which promote a healthier lifestyle. The app is also great in tracking your very own progress and activity for helping you meet your personal goals. No bugs or glitches, nice!

Paying before seeing the platform?. Reply: September 1: When did I say in my review that I thought the app was free? Stop putting words in my mouth. All I said was it asked basic questions then next thing is asking to pay without seeing what the app even looks like. You can let your potential subscribers see it without letting us use it...just my 2 cents. But instead from what other reviews I'm seeing, people are regretting signing up because they didn't see what they were signing up for. Thank you for your reply though. Is there a way to see the app/platform before committing to a subscription? The app asks some basic questions then tells me to pay almost $40 per month (the cheapest plan) for a plan I wasn’t even shown. And a platform or app interface I can’t even see. That’s too much of a commitment and trust your asking potential clients without seeing what your app even looks like. If I can see what your app looks like first and make sure it’s not all smoke screens then I’ll commit.

New update has issues. This update now doesn’t keep me logged in I have to continually update my fast times and states I haven’t been fasting when I have. Update before this couldn’t keep or maintain imperial vs. metric. Can we get this fixed? April 6, update seems to have fixed issues and much improved. Back to what I expect. Thanks!!

Do not buy. I am so bummed that I paid money for this app. It is terrible. It doesn’t sync to my health app so none of my walking is recorded. But worst of all - it is near impossible to record the food you eat. There is a very short list of foods to choose from when you search AND you can’t scan bar codes to record. Making it horribly annoying to log in your macro or calorie intake. If you have ever done My Fitness Pal (the free version!!) this has nothing compared to that - other than a stupid timer to tell you how long you’ve been fasting and we all already have phone with timers, just use that!! I am so mad that I wasted money on this app!!!! Ugh!!!

Embracing change. After a couple of weeks my body has adapted to the fasting routine. I always stick to my 16 hours, sometimes linger and have even cut my eating time if I’m not hungry. At 62, I pretty much gave up losing any weight or even gaining which I certainly did not need to do. I could eat anything I wanted and stay at the 160 mark. I am happy to say 153 looks and feels good. Thanks Do Fasting for being my guide.

Please don’t pay for this app. It has the worst food tracker I’ve ever tried to use. I gave up and started using my fitness pal like most people mention on the FB page. If you say anything negative on the FB page about the app, even if it’s helpful to people the admins take down the entire post. The app randomly resets and you lose all of your data, I just lost 3 months worth of tracking. You often can’t add or edit anything from the previous day and customer service isn’t empowered to offer much help. I love fasting as a program but I got a refund and will be shopping for a better app.

It’s a scam!. If they allowed negative stars, this would be the app to get -10. They make you sign up, and when you realize the mistake you made paying for such a stupid app, it won’t let you log in to cancel it. I continue to get a message that they couldn’t find a user with that email. I tried to chat with someone, they had me reset my password again, and I still couldn’t get logged on. Now they can continue to charge my credit card because I can’t change my subscription. I’m going to have to cancel my credit card. What a waste.

Very Organized & Helpful. This app is very organized and helpful, with various options such as the ability to update your weight, log calories and water intake, as well as gives you an option to work on a step goal. You can also log your stats and create a profile to suit your goals, I like how you can also connect your phones “Health” app!

Very helpful app. I am new to fasting and this app has been helpful. I like that it has recipes though I have not used them yet since this is only my second day. I do wish you could log food a little easier like the fitness pal app. If I were able to scan or type a meal in and option would pop up it would make things so much easier. If you don’t use the recipes on the app logging meals can be very time consuming. This is why I have only given it a 4 star rating.

Scam. Used app once. Wasn’t impressed. Was told by customer service to delete app as to not be charged again. 3 months later…. Charged another $29. Contact customer service for refund as I’ve never used app. They wanted a screenshot of my banking info via email. Been 2 wks to only be informed that since I deleted app I’m not entitled to refund even though they informed me to delete app to prevent any charges until issue of refund was resolved. Shady. So shady. Would have given it 0 stars if it was an option. App is useless and lacks information and then refuses to refund when you try to leave. Absolutely do not recommend this app to anyone

Not good/concerned it’s a scam. I got this app well over one year ago. I barley used it for a month and cancelled it. They would not refund me anything because it charged me for an entire year and I didn’t catch it until after the first two months. It finally expired and then auto renewed randomly, with no notification and charged me $69 for six months. I did not sign up for auto renew abs cancelled the subscription last year! Now I cannot log into the account and CANNOT cancel it. The programming is terrible and I have been trying to cancel for 6hours. It won’t let me log in now. This screams scam to me.

Disappointing app plus unreasonable refund/customer service. The app gives you no ability to correct a mistake once started. Considering it’s simplicity of just measuring time you would think that would be possible. Then when I missed my renewal cancellation date by a couple of days they were unwilling to refund my two and 1/2 month plus of unused subscription once requested. It doesn’t sound like a smart business decision to not credit someone something that cost the company nothing especially when it comes with a bad review. Hope they improve the product and get some kinder smarter people working there. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great customer service/live chat. The app is good. Helped me to lose some weight. I forgot to stop the renewal and was charged for 6 more months. Contracted customer service via live chat and was surprised how easy it was to cancel! I first was offered a 50% refund and keep access to my account but I declined and asked for a full refund. I was refunded in minutes! Catherine from CS was great! Thank you again :)

Clears Custom Meals input. This app has been helpful in keeping me on track the past 2 months with intermittent fasting, weight, & fluid intake, but I don't like the calorie counting feature. The variety of foods & calories is limited to their own recipes and some basic ingredients. So I have to google calorie counts on nearly everything. And every Monday, the app clears out my custom inputs & I'm back to ground zero. Please fix this feature, particularly so it won't clear/delete custom meals every few days.

Love most of this app. This app has a great timer for your fasting eating.! I love to watch the time pass on it. I also love the water accounting feature. It is superb. The customer service is superb. The only area I haven’t used much because I find it difficult, is the calorie counting food section of it. This could be my lack of technical ability or the app. I just find it too. Difficult to even try. But on the whole fabulous app.

Well thought out, however... I loved every thing about this app. Right up until I tried to log my food. Bar none the least user friendly horrific clunky useless garbage ever. The recipes look tasty, but everything is weighed? So I need to do math before I portion, and then use a scale. But when I tried to log ground beef as an “ingredient” it only gave me cups rather than weight as an option. I think I’ll find something else, I was really hoping for an all in one option and thought this was The One. Sadly No.

Expensive Timer, Questionable Policies. Purchased a 6 month plan at a discount (thankfully). Used the app for a couple of days, most portions of the app feel clunky, really just a bunch of articles, recipes and well… a timer. When I purchase these apps on long terms, I cancel them for renewal otherwise I’ll forget. Got charged for a 6 month renewal when I cancelled on day one, immediately after my purchase. All support could offer was a 50 percent refund and to inform me they never received a cancellation request nor did I self cancel. But at least I get access to the app that I stopped using after a few days! Look elsewhere for fasting options.

Review. I find it very difficult to track your meals as a lot of things do not come up when you search it. I don’t follow a lot of those recipes so I can’t just pick from the list you have. In addition how do you change the amount of water you’re drinking. I don’t always drink 13 or 16 or 20 ounces at once but would like to track it individually. In addition it says that I can track my steps with the Apple Watch but is very difficult to connect it. For $69 I would’ve thought it would’ve been a lot better than this

No integrity with this app!. I stopped using the app and forgot to cancel my renewing subscription. When I got charged for the next 3 months, I immediately contacted the company and asked for a refund as I won’t be using the app. They told me I signed up for this and will be charged for the next 3 months even though I’m not using it. Very little integrity, and they are here to steal your money. Too bad because there’s a chance I would have come back to them. There are better programs out there, and I’m 100% sure there are ones who aren’t here to rip you off. Stay away from this app at all costs!!!

Will charge account even after you cancel. Update they are issuing a full refund. I appreciate the quick customer service on this matter The app is fine but did not work for me. I canceled last year way before the subscription renewal and this past week they charged me again. They will only offer a partial refund which is not ok because I have no use for the app. Make sure you delete all info off the app. I will be contacting my bank

Good program but poor tech platform. DoFasting has a great IF program with lots of resources to assist along the way. The app, however, is not good. Logging calories requires more manual effort than is necessary. There are better apps with a more comprehensive database of food items. Also, there appears to be a glitch that kept saying that my fasting streak was fragmented, rather than documenting the fasts that I had saved over the week prior. The notifications did not sync up properly or were not also found in the app. I’ll stick with it because I’m seeing personal results.

Can’t Access My App. I paid for a 3 month subscription. However I am not able to log into my program. It says too many attempts when I try to set up my account, and then it says credentials not found when I try to get my password recovered. This isn’t an inexpensive app! It costs a lot, but I would at least like to access what I paid for!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have attempted to use this app with no luck. I had a difficult time setting up my password but was finally able to do so after repeatedly contacting support. Once my password was set up, I attempted to set up a fasting schedule. Every time I put in the time of my last meal I was told it was an invalid entry. I then attempted to manage the subscription and that took my to the website. Once on the website, it stated that my password was invalid. So then I attempted to reset my password. That attempt failed also. I was sent an email stating that I needed to complete my registration rather than giving me a password reset. So now I am dead in the water so to speak. I have contacted the help desk and repeatedly requested that my 7 day trial membership be canceled. Of course they proceeded to charge my card $79 rather than cancel The next time I tried to access the app it just froze. This is a useless and worthless piece of crap!

Not helpful- scam. This app is a scam. At first good reminders and seems helpful if you are interested in intermittent fasting and receiving regular reminders. However, it just wasn’t working for me, so I canceled within my Apple subscription and deleted the app. 4 months later I received a $40 charge. Checked my subscriptions, the app didn’t show. Tried to login online and it said I purchased through the App Store, so round and round we go. I contacted customer service who would only provide a 50% refund due to being a “digital service”. Clearly they can see I haven’t used the app in months. Complete scam who knows how many people they have done this to.

Just Updated, Needs More. Started using app a little over a week ago and paid $$$ dearly for it! Has “sorta” helped me stay on track. However, no ability to scan bar codes on products like some Keto apps that cost MUCH less! And manual time sets (like if real life is happening & you forget to hit “End Fast”) don’t work. I set my End Fast time to 7:40pm, looked this morning, says 9:40pm even tho it took 3 tries to get it to STAY at 7:40pm. So not accurate there. Have decided to keep it full 30 days then reassess. Will update review then.

Intermittent Fast. I’m new to this form of dieting. The app is easy to use but I find logging food difficult when it seems to want measurements in grams. It also has a confusing search for food types. Lots of entry’s with a variety of calories and no brand names. I also expected more of a tutorial as to how to start. I got the scale today which seems to provide a lot if information based solely on standing on sensors. Not sure how it knows how much bone or water is in my body. Regardless I’ve lost 3# the first week. I’ll continue.

Challenges keeping it going. It also seems to lose its marbles most easily. I like the convenience of having the app on my phone but it's very difficult to use because it freezes up so easily and then I have to try to re-capture everything. Because it's so difficult I am just using the fasting time for now and sometimes the water just to help me drink more. If it starts working better than all use some of the other features

does what it’s supposed to do, I guess. I’ve had to re-login several times, a couple times while using the app. It will just log me out for no reason. I’ve also had to reset the times of my fasting several times. It’s not easy to track calories or food. I’m actually using another app to do that and they don’t communicate. It’s great for water and steps tracking. And I liked the articles.

Basic but effective.. a little kluncky. Does what it need to do but I suppose I could do the same thing on my fitness pal. What’s super annoying is that you just complete a fast n order for you to edit a previous fast. I have two small kids 4 and under, and fall asleep at all different hours so it would be helpful if I could edit my past fasts in case I fall asleep during my eating window.

Diet program is great, app is terrible.. The plan itself is easy to follow and breaks it down enough to be mastered easily. However, the data food bank is terrible. Vanilla yogurt? Not on the list. Everything is in grams and I wouldn’t have a problem with that if everything came with grams on the packaging. No way to figure recipes. No way to switch one food from dinner to lunch (Aka leftovers) because you have to re-add everything. The recipes are okay, but repetitive. How many ways can you make a grilled cheese sandwich? The articles are good, but unless I am missing something there are only 10 or so. I paid $70 for what?

Quit working on renewal. I did an initial subscription and it was great. I took a break and then was ready to renew. I logged into the app and the only screen I have is to renew, so I selected to renew for another 3 months. I was charged but the app will not move past that screen. After repeated communications for about a week with a very responsive support team, I tried updating, redownloading, and restarting to no avail. Now it’s now been over a month and I’ve heard nothing after repeated attempts. The app still doesn’t let me in, and I haven’t gotten a refund. I don’t really care which of those things happens but one of them should.
