What?. Design is terrible. Not user friendly. I expected it to be a scale, and it opens up to an area where I can buy a bunch of scales. I’m not sure I understand it. I think the sign of a good app is to open it and get it right away. This felt like I just opened an advertisement, which makes me think that’s all it really was. 2 thumbs down. Shut it down.

Doesn’t work. App closes instantly im on the iPhone 8 Plus

You can’t switch it off pounds. It won’t allow you to switch to grams although it claims it does

Doesn’t work. Unless I weigh my finger. Inanimate objects don’t activate the scale on the phone screen. Can’t convert to grams as far as I can tell.

Breaking down. Once u place something, it doesn’t work, unless u place ur finger and press down.

It's crap. If you want to measure the pressure of your finger on the screen this app is perfect. Otherwise you're S.O.L. and I don't mean the sun.

How to change settings. How do you change it to measure more than pounds

DON’T waist your time!!. Doesn’t weigh anything except literally pressure from your fingers when pushing on the tiny “place item here” square. Unless you want to weigh the pressure/force you are pushing (with your fingers) And I know it’s “free” but still not even worth the time to download!!! I rated a “1” only because there is not a “0”(Zero)

Not worth the time.. Downloaded the scale, tested it. It doesn’t register any weight, the app will only send you to push marketing ads. Don’t waste your time, or your memory on your iPhone. It simply isn’t worth it.

Scam. Downloaded the app Nothing but ads popping up. Useless scam. Probly why it’s free. They’re just collecting info from the phone n selling it to the highest bidder the next day. Deleted.

Do nothing App. When I first downloaded it, it actually did work as a scale. Now the scale function is gone and it’s just an entire app dedicated to advertising scales. Literally. That’s all it does is tell you where to buy scales. I don’t know what happened and I don’t care. Terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible item. I try using it and it only goes up to 20 oz. When I’m finished using it ads pop up I don’t recommend this app

iPhone. This scale list that it is compatible with IPhone, however it is not compatible with IPhones. I’ve noticed that you MUST have 3D TOUCH on your IPhone. I’m using IPHONE XR. Maybe there is an app for 3D TOUCH.

This is NOT a scale. The app is misleading it’s not a scale, but provides links to scales you can purchase. The one review giving it five stars has to be the maker of the app, because NOTHING in the review is true.

does not work. Only reads weight of my thumb if pressed to the screen. No objects placed on the phone register with the app??

No stars.. Phones can’t detect anything but the pen that comes with your phone or your finger which means it can’t detect the item that you weighing. Nice thinking Steve.

Scam. Complete scam.. You should disclose in your app description that your app will not measure anything but rather give your users a basic Google search on where to buy a scale.

Ads. Ads. Ads.. Touch the scale *AD* place something on the scale *AD* try to reweigh item *AD* finally get to use the scale without an ad popping up and......it is extremely inaccurate. This app is broken and in my opinion I suspect it is just a trap to get you to view ads so it’s creator could collect revenue.

Horrible. It doesn’t work, I tried to weigh a water bottle and it said it was 0 pounds. Highly unlikely that it is 0 pounds. Also waaaaay too many ads. I couldn’t even try to weigh something because I kept getting ads.

Mawfuggah got me. 3 stars, as it is my own fault that I would believe a phone could function as a scale - it does not. Unless whatever you want to weigh is comprised entirely of fingertips.

Why does this even exist?. Apps can be misleading. Some, like iScale, exaggerate claims, and make up things in the description. However, iScale is special. It is so incredibly stupid, that I’m sure that the vast majority of the downloads are from people seeing how dumb it is. You only need an IQ of 12 to understand that iPhones don’t have a built in scale. For god sake, some bend if you stare at them long enough! Imagine some 10 year old trying to weigh a heavy object, or his/her self! Sure, it uses 3D Touch to measure PRESSURE on the screen, but not everything is a fingertip! There is a saying in Popular Meme Culture, “Every day, we stray further from god” Nothing justifies this more than this app. This review may seem harsh, I quite enjoy seeing and reviewing these dumb apps, so I can vent my concerns on the future of humanity. If you have or will download this app because you think it will be useful (or will work). Just dont. But, if you want to become weary about the current state of the way we technology, or have a laugh, go ahead (just don't forget to delete it later). PS: the ads every 30 seconds are also rather distracting.

Too many Ads & Scale didn’t work. Too many Ads! Every second a new ad pops up. The scale didn’t even work with actual objects it would only show numbers if you pressed your finger down on it. And no I didn’t get paid to write this review.

No review necessary. I’m assuming the reason developers use reviews is so as to make their products more competitive, among others. My review was not going to be a stellar one (it can be summarized in one word: frustrating) but: close to 80 reviews and only one raving positively ... well that speaks for itself (the haughty suggestion by the latter that negative reviews should be kept to one self.. well, that was funny).

Wow!. Ok so for starters this app is completely free, so if you have something bad to say don’t say it. I feel like this app has a lot of bad reviews, but that’s probably ‘cause they were paid to do that. The app for iPad Pro is amazing. It works with Apple Pencil. On iPad, your finger won’t be measured but the Apple Pencil will. You can see how much pressure your applying the Pencil to the iPad. It’s actually pretty cool, so you know not to punch too hard or too light. In conclusion, I would give this app a try. It will work for iPhones. But for iPads, you need an Apple Pencil to use it. As for the developers, good job and very unique! :) Note: I think I am the first one on this app to write a good review

Capacitance. You know the reason your finger works on the phone and not much of anything else. I’d hoped they’d found a way around that. They haven’t. No capacitance no measurement = useless.

Doesn’t work. I think they missed the part where the app is supposed to work with objects instead of a finger pressure

Sorry, Your App Falls Short. Limiting the scale’s functionality to (undefined) capacitive objects undermines the app’s usefulness. My finger works. Yay! A coin doesn’t work, even if placed directly on the screen sans intervening paper (an insulator). That’s unfortunate bc I wanted to weigh a coin I’d purchased on eBay to help determine its authenticity. Not everything weighs one or more ounces, and although the app appears to display weights in hundredths of ounces, it would be more useful, I feel, to measure in grams. Perhaps this feature is available when downloading the app from a country that uses the metric system (“i.e., “native units” mentioned in the description). The developer, however, did not respond to my inquiry regarding measurement in grams.

Asked for an app to use as a scale. I got advertisements not a scale that I could use.

Digital scale. Since smart phone only detects warm touch it can’t scale/weigh anything cold.

Scales. This does not work at all

Ads. Advertisements come up as soon as anything is touched on the scale. Once an advertisement appears, there’s no way to get out of it. The “X” on the top left and right corners don’t do anything to close the ad. The only way to get out of it is to close the app down via the multitask screen and reopen, but even then, once you attempt to weigh something, an ad will come up, preventing you from 1) seeing the weight of what your weighing and 2) going back to the app since, like I’ve said, you can’t close the ads.

Scale. I couldn’t get it to register anything that wasn’t directly on the centre. So couldn’t weigh anything even with a tea cup as a bowl.

The most useless app ever. It’s literally just pictures of scales and links to Amazon. It should be called the Amazon catalogue.

Might be ok except for the constant add pop ups. I would try and maybe by but the adds are absolutely annoying. Deleted

Fraud. The app can’t serve a glass jar and that is it. Won’t sense glass clearner in a plastic bottle so how exactly is this a scale? My excitement went from 10 to 1

Like many others are pointing out, it really is just an advertisement to sell you scales on Amazon. But what’s even more stupid is the “learning” section which acts as you’re a stupid little kid who doesn’t know what a scale is. And idk what little “finger’ thing unluckykitty is talking about, it really is just the advertisements and “learning” section. And don’t even get me started on that “feedback” button!
