Truly mesmerizing graphics. Playing this “game” is like meditation. Graphics are stunning. Sometimes I’m reminded of schools of fish or fireworks, or both of those in a kaleidoscope. I think this might be my favorite app from Apple Arcade. I need all the stress-relieving I can get 😜

Almost.... ... didn’t download. With the reviews and last update forever ago, almost didn’t. But glad I did! Amazed at how there is noticeable ‘viscosity’ to the cells as you move the tiny object through them. (And the movement doesn’t have to be linear or slow! I punched holes through, spun around inside different cells, amazed at the reactions to each varied action) Exited level 5 too quickly and went back spending time to watch the interaction of objects, like fish fireworks with different sizes and magnetic polarities... How many games have stunningly beautiful magnet fish fireworks?

Don’t know what I expected.. It’s pretty. That’s about it. There’s no objective and all you do is drag a little orb around and maybe some particle effects will follow it. And to move the orb you have to constantly flick in the direction you want to go instead of just touch and hold.

Relaxing. I love this game for what it is- a relaxing and beautiful chill game. I love playing after I’ve ;-) if you know what i mean.

A chill game. This game is for those who like to chill, what I mean is that it is not action-packed. The game has around an hour or two(give or take) of play time. This is a slow moving game so don’t expect fast movement.

jeez. I had to watch a you tube video just to figure out how to start playing this. Don't bother looking for support for instructions, they don't exist. I'm using an iPad. You move the small light on the screen by moving your finger along the bottom of the screen. You get to orbs. The small light lights them up. Then one becomes another shape and you have to figure out where to go, so you go along lighting up orbs. That's it. That's the "game.". Really a nothing experience. Skip it. What a waste!

Cool tech demo... not really a “game”. It’s a beautiful app. It does well fusing calming sound with particle effects. However, there’s little to no gamification to it. It’s a strange addition to Arcade; it feels like it should be a regular App Store app. It’s good for those who like more defined sound for meditation, but gamers will not find anything here for them.

Need option to skip levels. This is usually a great way to unwind before bed, but level 6 was extremely visually overwhelming and I couldn’t wait to get out of it. Level 7’s music slows to a crawl like someone is playing a record at the wrong speed & I had to turn the sound off to get through it. Please consider building an escape hatch to the next level if the sounds and/or shapes are triggering anxiety or a meltdown.

Physically painful to play. Moving the cursor requires constant repetitive swiping. I’m not sure why it can’t be moved by touching the screen where you want it to go. As it is, you have to swipe the length of the screen to move the cursor about one-sixth the screen. Combine that with no indication of where to move the cursor, there is much tedious swiping hither and yon to do anything.

Just like my dream. This game makes me feel like a dream. I play it whenever I feel anxious.

Absolutely Wonderful. I Loved everything about this game/puzzle and want MORE!, Please! When will there be more Chapters? Soon, I hope. Thank You! nmj

Pretty, but that’s about it.. This game has pretty music and great art style. But it is barely something I’d call a game. Not really any puzzle elements or any real...anything. I got bored by the 3rd stage. And my finger hurt from all the constant swiping. This app is relaxing on your eyes and ears, but that’s about it.

Title screen so annoying I deleted it without playing.. It is not a privilege to watch your introduction.

Not as good as their other games. The art is beautiful and the music is captivating, but the game is ruined by tedious controls that make it difficult to move around

Wont even open. I was reqlly excited about this game! I love games like that! And it wont even open. My screen is black. If there is a developer who will respond please do. I really hope that it works soon

So relaxing. I love this game. I usually play games when I am trying to wind down for the night. The colors and the music is so relaxing. It's almost like meditation. Love love love. EDIT: had to remove a few stars because it's been forever and there are no new "levels". Once there is a " chapter 2" it'll probably go back up to 5 stars... Second edit: still waiting for the next update.. 9 months and no update? Probably just going to delete the app since I don't play it anymore.. Removed 2 more stars... Very disappointed...

Ugh. For one, it’s an incredibly beautiful game. But that’s about all it has going for it. The tutorial doesn’t tell you what you’re supposed to do. I flew around for a couple minutes before figuring it out. And there’s nothing to do. You fly your guy into something wait a minute then try to figure out what else you’re supposed to do. No thanks.

Very Disappointed. If you are looking for a game like their “Frost”, you would be extremely disappointed.

It’s waste. It glitched on level 4 and it’s not even fun it’s just taking a yellow circle across space

Very creative and innovative. I am not a hard core gamer, though I do play a few puzzle games almost daily. This is one of the most unique and captivating games I have ever played. I hope it just keeps evolving and never ends. Now I want to know more about how this team came upon this concept. Those giving the game low scores have a very narrow concept of gaming. This is a new and very interesting type of play. More like this please. Agree with the feedback about the ergonomics. Would be nice if this was addressed. Swiping is unnecessarily RSI inducing for this gameplay.

Not worth your time. This game has no story, nothing happens. Don’t waste your time.

Really bad, given their other work. Unsure how you make this almost terrible game after Frost and Bleck, but they did. The whole game is boring. They made things take a long time to give the illusion of challenge, but the game is soulless and it seems like the least amount of thought possible went into it.

Immaculately beautiful. For those looking for a traditional game - this is not for you. However, this game is lovely. I mean, it is gorgeous. I was lost in it for over an hour the first time I played. I think that playing this for about 20 minutes a day will help with tension... simply lovely.

Great if you're in the mindset. Let's just say it's great for certain mindsets. This got me out of being too high and made sense at the time. Otherwise I don't know.

No purpose what-so-ever.. Controls are all messed up and pretty much unresponsive. Waste of time.

I guess this was a mistake. I spend a solid 10 minutes and level 4+ I realize that you just drag a yellow dot around. I don’t understand what the point of this game is. Heck give it SOMETHING to make the game interesting. I’m sorry I’m gonna give this a solid 1 star.

Dude, unreal.. This is the most visually pleasing “game” on arcade. Genuinely beautiful. Great job on this.

Relaxing Game. Relaxing game with a simple goal to get from point A to B using the momentum of the floating objects. The visuals and soundtrack are mesmerizing, especially when using headphones. It took some patience at first but I really enjoyed it in the end. I only wish there was more than one chapter.

Beautiful game. No words can describe this app other then STUNNING

??. I love this app. Not sure what the heck I’m doing but it seems to be working! Got to level 13 anyway. Plus it’s so beautiful. nice just listening and seeing what happens next.

Wait, What?. This game it showed a black screen and sometimes it took me back to the Home Screen.

Best Game. Thank you for developing this app. I dare not call it a game because a game has a goal to end the game a winner. When I play I don’t want it to end. I am starting # 8 and I think I’ll go back and start over. The music is tremendous. I feel like I’m playing with the angels! If you want to lower your blood pressure in these stressful times, this th perfect app. My ALL TIME favorite. You are genus!!

Relaxing!. This game is beautiful! You just have to let yourself go and play it without expections. It truly relaxes you.

There is some wisdom to this game.. It is an active meditative experience which allows you to learn skills seemingly counterintuitive to most games. I won’t give too much away, but be prepared to chill.

Its gobbledegook. So... there is no game here. This shouldn’t be on Apple Arcade at all. This is more like a touch toy. The explanation is full of all kinds of feel goody buzz words and gobblecock that mean absolutely nothing.... I should have know... But i figured since this is Apple Arcade there must be a game to it.... there is not... nothing zip zilch. The graphics and colors are pretty... thats about all I can say for it... but it IS NOT A GAME and does not belong in Apple ARCADE. I just want to add, and be clear. If this app were however on the regular App Store and not on arcade it would be getting a much higher and better review.

Stunning.. I Love This Game. Too much to say I’m ‘in-love?’ An utter delight. Joy incarnate. So beautiful.. a work of art representing the collective unconscious. Bravo.

Not a game. This isn’t really a game but instead more of a relaxing app , I don’t think it deserves 3.1 stars

Game? Not So Much. Had to remove one star, because those looking for a “game” experience will be disappointed. But for the open minded and artistic; those fascinated with light and color; or anyone looking for a meditative experience will find this to be a beautiful, mesmerizing journey. Each level has different clusters of light, each with their own patterns. Some you burst through, others you must carry along as you progress. I often stopped just to play with the various clusters, to see what they did. I loved this, and I hope to see more offerings such as this on Apple Arcade. If you enjoy this, I recommend Tint, also on Apple Arcade.

Meditation, relaxation. This game is great for those who enjoy a meditative experience throughout the day or right before bed, this is not a game but rather a beautiful experience if you are open to it. It’s a great stress relief, it helps me relax into a nights slumber and indulge in a beautiful, colorful experience. I wear my blue-light blocking glasses and start my relaxing adventure. Highly recommended for the calm hearted. 💙

Extremely immersive. This is nothing like playing Mario on NES back in the day. Heck’s it’s not even like playing anything else on the App Store really. If I could play this game in AR with a few upgrades (like from the future think star trek tng holodeck level) holy guacamole i couldn’t imagine the possibilities. It just feels so nice to have a sense of limitlessnes yet still have an objective to make it a game. Sometimes yes I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be doing but a minute later I get it and I’m on the right path. The music in sync with my movements and various game interactions it’s just beautiful. It reminds me of Endel which if you know you know. I couldn’t recommend that app enough if I tried.

What is the point?. It’s pretty boring. All you do is flick this light around.

Needs instructions. Not intuitive. Really needs instructions, but provides no help of any kind.

Mesmerizing and playable, but needs additional levels.. It is beautiful and very playable, the clues are all there. I felt like it needs a little more in the way of motivation and definitely more levels.

Boring. Kind of a boring game. Disappointing considering FROST is such a great game. I’m not even sure what the gameplay was supposed to be besides poking my screen like a toddler

Beautiful but boring. It’s not really a game at all but interactive art. Endlessly swiping a dot around the screen, it’s actually quite frustrating. Pretty but empty, like some people I know.

Stone else having this problem?. Hmmm, I make it further in the game. Like level 4, but then when I clear the game by swiping up, it goes back to level 1?? Overall, a beautiful game! Especially on the iPhone 12 pro! Only removed one star for the level issue.

Incredible game to help you center yourself and find momentary peace💙. I never write reviews (like, ever) so trust me when I say that this app is breathtaking. The graphics are beyond stunning, “playing” is easy to learn and maneuver, and the sound effects are stellar. Playing seems like such a stupid word to describe this app. Every time you use it you’re experiencing interactive art that somehow still gives task and goals in a very minimal and easy to understand way. Ya know those ads for apps that are 4k/3D quality and make the game look gorgeous, but in actuality it looks like the original farmville? This is that except you actually get 4K/3D quality and stunning graphics. I can’t recommend this app enough!!!

Won’t even load. Game might be good if it would even load. Bad example of quality games from Apple Arcade!

Psychedelic and relaxing. This is the coolest app I've played. So relaxing. The graphics are gorgeous. It's a great way to relax. Not really sure I want to complete levels because it's so cool to play with the flocks of beautiful colors reminiscent of fishes, birds and psychedelic phenomena.

Beautiful for a Bit, Then Boring. After the first 15 minutes or so I realized the gameplay would all boil down to just dragging particle effects around.

Awesome. This is so relaxing, love the colours. Feel like I’m in a van Gough painting. It’s so fun. Though it’d be cool if there were more things to make or achieve. I mean, i am only up to level six at the moment. Like these swim things need those swim things. Either way. It’s so good. Good job Developers.

Won’t load, no support.. Can’t play on my iPhone 7 or iPad 6 gen. Shame, looked good.

Doesn’t work. App doesn’t work. Shame.

No point, no explanation. When I decided to get Arcade I thought it’d herald the rebirth of good gaming. Glad I didn’t try this during my trial period or I’d never have bothered and found other games that are good

Gorgeous. The graphics is crazy, it’s a total art, maybe only the game on each level took pretty long

…. It’s very slow and quite boring

Very soothing. If i play this for too long my brain goes to sleep and my vision blurs.

Doesn’t work. I tried playing but won’t actually start

Why?. I don’t understand that game. I would like to know what the purpose of it is. Basically it’s pretty boring.

Yawn. Looks good but boring af

Not enough levels!. I loved this game but im so sad that there is only 16 levels, finished in like 2 days. Please make more!!!!!!!!

Will not launch. Hello, I was rather enjoying the game, but I cannot get it to load now. (Just black screen and a couple of notes on the arcade slash banner music) I am running the latest iOS on and iPad Air 2. I have deleted and reloaded, sign off Apple ID, restarted the iPad Regards, Grant Jones

Loved it.. Admittedly it is not a fast, seat of your pants game. But I loved just how relaxing it was. I can’t wait for the next chapter.

Doesn't work. I have an iPhone 6s and whenever I try to open this game, it just goes to a black screen. It looks interesting but I can't play it so I guess I won't find out!

Loading screen. About as fun as watching a loading screen, albeit a pretty one.

Meh. It’s probably as fun as scrolling through a web site. This probably has nicer graphics, but a web site could have entertaining content.

Game is beautiful, but zero concept.. This game is more for relaxing, but I wish there were a concept to it. Make small obstacles, or mini missions to add purpose. Rated 2 stars because the graphics are beautiful, but game play is 1 star.

Boring game !!!!!!!. Soooo boring !!!

Don’t see the fun in it. It’s literally just moving an orb around to different orbs over and over again

Should be used for therapy. This is one of the most relaxing pass times I have ever done on my phone. Would be an amazing therapeutic tool. Chill game

Amazing. I want to know what do you smoke when making games like this. It’s like a daydream. Very cool.

Don’t waste your time. Such a waste of time...negative stars.

Boring.. All you do is scroll left to move a dot into bunch of other dots. Forever.

very relaxing. hey, anxious in public? play this game. it’s a lifesaver.

Very chill. Reminds me of flower for PlayStation. Very zen experience. Look forward to finishing it.

Relaxing artistic app. This game is an odd case of polar opposite reviews - you either love it or hate it but I can see why people think both. On the one hand this game has beautiful animation and thoughtful design and it is incredibly relaxing - perfect “second screen” activity while you are doing something else (like attending a boring zoom call) On the other hand, I struggle to really classify it as a “game”, more of an artistic study of programming swarm like movement. I think this app would do better if it was slightly retweaked as a meditation tool.

I don’t understand?. You just move through particles till you reach the end. I did not brief you the gameplay. That is it. All you do. You swipe on your screen then on to the next level. Seems like a tech demo to show how pretty a game could be? I’m not sure. I was hoping to be relaxed but I left extremely confused.

How does this not have a 5.0 avg!?. 2.7!? This is a work of pure art. Normally, I’d spell out my rationale for awarding such a good score, but I think I’ll appeal to something more basic here. If you enjoy beauty and wonder, this will appeal to you; if you’re more of a haha-that-dude’s-arm-done-got-blowed-off type of person, you have stumbled upon a gem you don’t deserve. Apologies for the elitism—but, y’know, not really. Keep up the amazing work, devs!

Yeah, no thanks.. Literally 1 minute is all you need to see how stupid this is.

“PRETTY” much nothing. Beautiful game with great graphics and colors. But other than swiping to the right to the next thingy. There not much going on here. Maybe you have be under the influence of a groovy substance or something.

Boring. Title says it all

amusing but shallow. Pointless but pleasant experience. No skills are developed beyond overcoming the frustrating controls, no objectives are met other than reaching the end goal point. Nothing is accomplished beyond trying to bliss out and appreciate the graphics in spite of the controls. I feel like this could be so much more compelling if it did something or meant something and if the controls and camera weren't so obnoxiously frustrating.

Pretty. Pretty boring.. Besides the attractive visuals there isn’t much to this simple yet frustrating game. There are no instructions yet the interactions are not intuitive. Seems like all you do is move at around a extremely slow pace until you reach certain markers. Another disappointing Apple Arcade game.

Dull/Dumb game lacks any excitement. Cool concept and all, it puts you in a bad mood. Lacks any sort of excitement.

really nice, really cool art. Apple arcade is really cool, maybe i would buy it!

Neither fun nor creative. Move slowly from one circle to another while some unimpressive particle effects happen. Repeat until you delete.

BEAUTIFUL and super chill. I don’t know what people’s issues with this game are. If you have an iota of creativity in your body, this game is super easy to figure out and very VERY relaxing. Such a great idea.

Beautiful, but lots of swiping. Could really use controller support to fix the endless swiping. Just map movement to an analog stick. Thats all!

What’s going on?. I have no clue what I’m doing. Another arcade app that has no words at all. No instructions other than an indication for you to swipe. I’ve swiped. I’ve interacted with the world. I’ve went through the circles. What else do I do? Is that it? Because nothing is happening.

Give the people what they want!. Frost was a fantastic game. Controlling particles and playing with their interactions was magical and amazing. Naturally, I was excited to see another game that seemed to promise the same! Lifelike isn’t a great game with that same magic. Beautiful, sure, but that’s about all it has going for it. There is no real objective, no real way to interact with the particles, and generally moves so slowly. Since Frost (and now Lifelike), fans have wanted a sandbox particle game or creative mode. THAT would be a MUCH better game than moving a sluggish dot through a particle storm and hoping they interact with it. Overall a lackluster and disappointing next installment of the developer’s particle game.

Ergonomics?. I think I’m probably in the core audience for this game... abstract art games where you figure out what’s going on as you play are a favorite of mine. But I’m playing on an iPad mini... and if you want to keep up any momentum, the controls require constantly and fairly rapidly swiping across half of the screen. Which is more repetitive wrist stress than I’m really up for. A lot of games have a mechanism where just touching the side of the screen moves the players avatar in that direction, no swiping needed.

Frustrating. This is one of the most frustrating games that I’ve ever play. With no instructions and no tutorial this is the most non intuitive game that you’ll find on the entire Apple Arcade. Very disappointed. :(

Engages the senses. Lifelike is a game in that you must learn the rules to complete it. Once that is done, it is rather easy to finish the final levels. However, this ‘game’ is different because it engages the senses (excluding taste, smell, of course). The design goes beyond mere art to give the user a sense of control and discovery. I really felt like I was directing a jellyfish-like creature through an ocean, encountering various objects that would alter the behavior of the creature in strange, fascinating ways. I cannot understand the negativity surrounding the controls and playability. For those expecting your typical arcade experience with fast-action explosions, sound effects, and flying body parts, go elsewhere.

Beautiful but flawed. The game looks and sounds stunning, but the touch controls are frustratingly sluggish. The progression through ‘levels’ could use a little breadcrumbing here and there. All in all, a good start to an incomplete product. Improve the touch controls and I’ll gladly try again.

Wont Run.... Never gets past initial black screen.

Gorgeous, but.... Remember all those adorable videos where a cat plays an iPad, and paws at the screen indefinitely? This game is the closest I’ve ever felt to being one of those cats. The visuals and interactions with the light blobs are so impressive and I totally need a game for zoning out and I want to love this so much and would if my finger wasn’t sore.

Fantastic and pretty relaxing. The game it simply beautiful yet it is too short 16 stages isn’t enough

Pretty but frustrating controls. Not really a game, but it is beautiful and could be a relaxing jaunt; however the frustrating controls removes the possibility of relaxation—unless you just want to play a swipe simulator.

Neat, but I don’t get it. The app is neat and it hasn’t crashed or messed up at all. It’s beautiful and interesting, but I just don’t get it. I don’t understand what the point is other than putting your thing in circles and waiting to see if that circle collects a thing or something. Art & Graphics: A Gameplay: D

Shallow. Like most of the Apple Arcade games I’ve tried so far, this game is shallow bait to make the arcade look populated with quality games. I’ve experienced better balance and more satisfaction and engagement from ad-infested free to play games on average more than the paid arcade.

Not much of a game. The graphics are quite nice but there isn't a main objective to your moving around. I hoped it would pick up after a few levels but it just stayed boring.

Meant to sooth. Hey!!!!! Thanks for reading this!! This game is not necessarily a “game”, but it is still awesome!! Fairly easy, just go right and enjoy the game!

Can’t Really call it a Game, but it makes you think. Honestly one of the most beautiful and thought provoking mobile games I’ve ever played, I cant wait to see what else they make.

Absolutely sublime. I downloaded this knowing absolutely nothing about it. I have never enjoyed an app more. Hard to explain why. It’s a beautiful journey. Try it. You might love it like I do.

Will not open. I installed this onto my iPhone 11 Pro. The app icon is there, but when I tap it, it fails to launch. I have uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, and reinstalled, but still nothing.

Visual but boring. While the game has an interesting visual and calming element, after three levels I didn’t feel the challenge. It quickly just became boring simply moving a glowing dot around the screen with no real meaning or goal.

Not a Game. It’s not really a game. You push around colored dots with your finger, to no significant effect. There’s no score, no challenge, no way of doing anything differently - either you push the colors around where the game wants you to or you don’t. It doesn’t matter.

Test. Test this game, nice ambiance but comprised one phase. No matter how tried can’t get past that.

Don’t know what’s going on. I really gave this game a chance despite the low ratings. It’s very unclear what’s going on. There are no instructions and the controls are bad.

Terrible. DO NOT GET THIS “GAME” I TRIED IT AND IT DIDNT EVEN LOAD IN. I WAITED 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥. FOREVER AS IN 20 MINUTES AND IT DIDNT LOAD IN. DO NOT GET THIS

Where's the Game?. Visually stunning: Yes Pointless: Absolutely! I'm giving two stars, but only because my cat loves the dot. He might award an additional star if the dot was red...

Cool but pointless. This is the classic game of “what developer want to make, but never considered about the customer”. They tried to make a cool game but it is not entertaining at all The game has cool art, but make no sense, like you don’t even know what you suppose to do, and it’s really not a game, it just developer showing that yo we got cool art and that’s all, you got bored in like 30 seconds. Not a game

sandpiper. great game love the movement and design. I just finished all levels and can’t wait for more

Is dev being rushed?. The last game this dev put out was really good, it didn’t have instructions but it was still something that could be figured out. This game, I’m not sure what happened but it is terrible. I’m sorry but I thought you did good work until this. There is not a clear objective, level 2 yes AT LEVEL 2 I wanted to give up because I don’t have any idea what’s going on, and it gets worse from there. Sorry guys you’ve gotta do better, you can’t throw Something together and expect players to enjoy it you really dropped the ball on this one.

Beautiful game, could use some control options. What should be a relaxing experience is somewhat disrupted by the controls which require constant flicking. A control sensitivity setting would go a long way.

???. All I get is a black screen 🤔???

So, so boring.. Blek and FROST are beautiful, complex games that invite creative solutions and multiple level replays, so I was pretty excited for Lifelike. And, well, it's gorgeous- but there's not much to do but travel from point to point and interact beautifully with beautifully things. Which is a problem, when you're waiting for it to actually be a game. If you're looking for a toy, this might be your bag- if not, look elsewhere.

Abstract art instead of a game. This is abstract art at its best, at least it’s not the game common folks would recognize. The only interaction I have encountered with in the first 3 level is move the yellow dot across the screen. There’re some small variations for how can the yellow dot move to further destination, but they’re more or less the same. Games should be fun at first place. This creation from my point of view is placed between the hard and the rock. It’s not a fun game to play, but it’s also not an educational app for children to learn anything. The best way to describe it is it’s a piece of art that the creators want to express themselves. Fair to say, I do love the stunning particle effects of this game, I love it so much that I want a screensaver version of the game for my Mac.

Slow moving goodness. After I have spent more time in the game I have come to the realization that the game play doesn’t have enough mechanics and differing particle behaviors and colors to make the game interesting. It’s beautiful at what it does but I want more than blur red and purple particles. I want to see more ways to interact with particles, via taps double taps and holds. I also think a more diverse set of backgrounds would be nice. It has potential though. Maybe chapter two will improve.

Pretty Poor. I really enjoyed FROST and was expecting high things from this app. Unfortunately this pretty lacklustre. Rather than carefully crafted puzzles with interesting interactions, it seems very disconnected, with the player doing very little to influence the world, just waiting in certain areas then going to touch a blue diamond, rinse and repeat. Good sound design and lovely visuals, but in terms of gameplay? Very little to keep me interested.

God. This a game about God, recognize this as you play and it will all make sense.

So confused. I want to like this game. The colors are beautiful and the movement is mesmerizing. But with no tutorial to explain - anything - and no hints or controls on which way to go in this endless world, it gets a bit frustrating. Please, developers, I know the idea is simplicity and meditation, but it ends up having the reverse effect. There’s needs to be SOME explanation of what’s going on.

My hand hurts. Although this game offers pleasant visuals and ambient noise, there isn't much to it. I wouldn't exactly call this a "puzzle" game but I guess whatever floats their boat. The controls are definitely annoying and makes this experience more similar to a carpal tunnel simulator than anything else. Making the controls more fluid would definitely create a more relaxing, and peaceful experience, which is what it seems the developers were going for to begin with.

Lifelike. It’s pretty, and nice music. But no instructions on what or how to play!

Would love to try. But black screen of death...what gives?

Meh. Beautiful, it’s true, but I cannot help thinking that moving a pointer around the screen with my finger to get things to follow was a wasted opportunity. There would be so much potential in having the user have a more direct interaction with the patterns that would make it feel more engaging.
