Don’t waste your money. I bought this app in June. Photos were loading into the app sometimes slowly, but eventually showed up. Now they don’t at all no more. So I can’t create anything. I signed up for the year and am out all the money. They said to go through Apple for a refund, i tried and get nothing. An app that cost so much (over $100)!! Just doesn’t work. They said they are working on it. I’m so upset. Update. There is no progress here. It hasn’t worked in over a month now. I have contacted support multiple times.

Could not ask for a better app!. I NEVER pay for apps, this one was a must have even though free version was good, needed to upgrade to pro. The ads I’ve made through this app for my business- KarmaKittenCo have helped tremendously! Direct sales have been great! Could not ask for a better app, if you are thinking about it, honestly just do it, you will NOT regret it!

A lot of bugs that need to be fixed. I used to use this app, and it worked fine before but since getting back on it and getting a subscription that I started the three day trial I’m so glad I did that first because the whole app is messed up I can’t make any stories or posts or anything it keeps bringing me back to choosing a template and a picture no matter what I click on it will keep re-popping back up it won’t let me even go to my profile or anything I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app to see if that would fix anything and it still doing the same thing. I like what the app offers but if it’s not working properly I can’t do anything with it. Subscription canceled now. 😕

I haven’t found anything greater. I almost want to keep it a well kept secret but had to present it to the rest of the marketing team and now everyone is thrilled. The work is done for you. Who ever the creators are, they understood the assignment. I’m happy to see that new templates are added quite often. Thank you. Wonderful app

Pitiful update. I loved this app, was my main go to, Nope not after update. I can’t find things, not set up to function the same. I can no longer create the way I want and that a big minus. You think you improving when you make things more difficult instead. This app use to be 5 star plus but now to me it’s not worth a rock in the road and I’m very disappointed. Now I’m on the search for something else to do what I need. Even if you subscribe you can not do what you really want it only opens up different templates and fonts not your ability to create…. JUST PITIFUL

Glitching Horribly!. I’ve been using it consistently for about a month now but after today’s update, I am sadly going to give it only two stars. It would be a one star but it was fine until the update. I would upload multiple video slides and all the videos would change to the very first video. The transition between the videos are not as shown in the template as it goes to green screen in between slides. Not a good look at all. I wasted so much time today and was not able to upload onto my Instagram and had to find another means! Very bad when you’re trying to grow your brand.

They stole my money. I saw the ad on TikTok and downloaded it. It has a free trial so I subscribed like I normally do with the other app to see if this is something that will work for me and if there something special or different from other similar apps I have used. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed at first but I didn’t cancel yet because I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. But then I totally forgot about the app and trial ended and my account was charged $130. I immediately reported it stating I didn’t intend to subscribe because I was not happy. They denied and I disputed it again explaining that I forgot to cancel it. $130 is such a waste for something I’m not going to use. Now I have to go through my bank to dispute. I just hope they will refund it.

What a disappointment. I decided to use the free version so I have to scroll until I find a template that has no "pro", but why do they have them if when I play it, it shows "Why is there no sound?" And when I tap there it says that I have to choose another audio due to copyright. I tried three times. Before I tried the third I said out loud "If it happens again, I'll delete it" and unfortunately it did. It is easier just to go to Instagram, keep scrolling until you see "Use this template" 👍🏻

Love this app. I’ve been using this app for marketing videos for my business for the past couple of months and overall it’s awesome. However, this is the second time I’ve run into the issue of my videos not saving to my camera roll. It says saved on Instories but when I go look for it in my phone photos it’s not there. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling but right now it’s still not working. If there is a solution, please let me know ASAP. THANKS

Disappointed. I talked so highly about this app. Relied on it for all of my business content but for the past two months the app is buggy and won’t download the video. Every time I add a video it just shows a white screen and saves as a frozen still shot. Very frustrating when you spend hours on Content and can’t save any of it. I’ve reached out to customer service and they just keep blaming everything other than the app. Going to be deleting this app

Won’t post stories without it. I love all the template designs available and how easy they are to customize. I also love the wide variety of music options I can select from for my stories. IG took away the music sticker for business accounts but cut stories allows me to add music! So far IG hasn’t muted the music so Cut Stories has been a blessing to use! Thank you for this great app.

Not worth the money. I saw an ad and gave it to give this app a try. I also signed up for the 3 day free trial (after you get charged +$100 a year for the pro version). Maybe it’s because I’m actually a graphic designer but I really don’t feel this app is worth it. I mainly wanted to use it for some cool reel templates to save me some time and there are really aren’t many at all, and on top of that none of them are really interesting. For story templates I was also interested in checking out options with editable motion graphics. There’s one that I found under the “pride” section, but other than that not much. There are a few things with special effects text but you can’t edit the text. I also have seen any templates or anything resembling what they are using for their one ad where text is integrated into the video of the girl on the horse. All-in-all feels like a lot of fluff, templates are basically repeats of each other just different cuts, nothing special or new feeling that would make paying +$100 a year worth it.

Not fully functional for 3 day trial. I downloaded this app to use the templates to make reels. However there is no reel tab on the version I got. I've sent them 3 messages in the app about it but when I exit the app and open it again to check on the status of the message, the message is gone. It's as if the app is designed to not give you the premium features you want for the first three days and just have to end up paying for them to use them.

Great Potential. I really enjoy this app! It allows users to make their stories more appealing and unique. What was once exclusively done with apps like photoshop and premiere has now been simplified and accessible to everyday users! It’s great stuff! My only suggestion for developers and (something future users should take note of) has to do with the limitation on customizing content. Being able to delete and add photo boxes in each template would make this app a game changer. Also having the ability to adjust photo size and animation speed would be choice. I have tried numerous Instagram story editing apps and they all possess the same, or even more limitations. I have yet to come across an app with this many clean template options that also allow for customization! Please consider creating more ways for users to really own and create their own content. I will be suggesting this app on my social media pages to other creatives. I would love to see this app be #1 for Instagram story editors in the near future!

Has Frustrating Glitches. There’s a lot to like about Instories. It has some great text animations and allows for a lot of customization of it’s templates. I also love that I can import fonts and brand logos. On the other hand, the app suffers from a serious glitch that undercuts a lot of its value: saved work often disappears forcing the user to start from scratch. This has happened to me again and again, and the only solution I can find is to just finish and export the project all in one go, and not rely on saved files. Once this serious flaw gets fixed the app will be worthy of five stars.

Not Free. There is no “free” version to this app. You download it and it immediately asks for your card info. There’s a free 3 day trial, but the fine print says that you have to cancel 24 hours before it “renews” automatically for a yearly subscription. You can’t try the app without giving them payment information. With the plethora of apps nowadays, this just seems dumb to me to not really give users an actual free version of this app or allow them to use it without committing to a purchase. And yes - giving out your payment info before trying the product is in a sense, committing to the payment.

One of my fav apps!. I’ve looked around for apps to help me grow my social media and this one is probably my favorite! I even decided to upgrade and subscribe to the monthly plan! And I never pay for apps, EVER! But this one is worth it! I use it several times a week to help promote my business and it gives that professional touch that I was missing! Love love love! I also love that new stuff comes out a lot for holidays etc! Keep the good stuff coming!

Simply Awesome. This app has been a life saver from promoting events and streams to just telling a story using a few seconds of videos and pics! I loved this app from the time I tried it, and now that I’ve invested money into it it’s been my go to app for almost all my on the go promos and motion flyers. Thanks so much for this app it’s brilliant!

FIX WHATEVER IS HAPPENING PLEASE. I love this app and have been using it since May 2020. I haven’t had an issue until the update and i can’t do anything on the app. It won’t allow me to do anything without the pop up of “what’s new”. I have deleted the app, uninstalled the app and turned off my phone. I can’t figure out why it’s not working. I use this for all my editing for my fitness videos. It’s SUPER frustrating. I don’t want to move to a new app since this PERFECT. Please respond and fix what’s happening. PLEASE

next big thing. So I’ve been using this app for about a year now. I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s fully functional and the response team is quick and helpful. There is plenty of room to grow and they have been growing steadily since I joined. I’m hopeful they will continue to improve things. There are some glitches between updates and I really wish that everything would sync across devices. However, it’s always fully functional and during the rare crashes which tend to happen when I’m dealing with very large file sizes and probably due to my phones memory being nearly full it manages to save what I’m working on. The app does what it says it will do and should only get better. If they had a referral program I would be getting people signed up.

Couldn’t edit AT ALL. Absolutely horrible app! I was so excited to utitilize its features after seeing what my peers have been able to create with it. HOWEVER, I’ve redownloaded this app FOUR separate times and restarted my phone multiple times to use this app, but this window suggesting templates WILL NOT stop popping up. Regardless of how many times, I tap Cancel on the tab, IT WILL NOT GO AWAY. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve gone through my settings to try different things as well such as disabling and enabling notifications, allowing all access to photos and limiting it, etc. Absolutely nothing seems to work and I’m extremely upset. 0/5 Stars from me. I would include a screenshot video if I could.

Amazing app but always bugs. This app is amazing, i like the template a lot and makes me save so much time. I love that we can save our fav also! Although it freezes a lot! And when i save a video, it’s not always the same in the app than my phone. Letters gets squized and i have to do it again but blind like since in the app it looks perfect. Tried to contact the assistance but can’t reach them. I love the app but those two things is so furstruating!

Mediocre tbh. This app is honestly mediocre at best. There are basically no free templates available. You have to pay for an incredibly expensive subscription to get any of the good ones. I understand the developers have to make money but they should at least give more features to non pro users. Not everyone has the money to pay for an outrageous subscription just for pretty basic designs. I know of other apps for making Instagram stories and graphic design that can do the same thing (if not 10x better) FOR FREE. I honestly think marketing this app as “free” in the App Store is a low key scam. Also this app is unnecessarily confusing to use. It won’t let you make your own design without forcing you to use one of their templates. Again I can name several other apps that are more user friendly, offer more free version features, are fully customizable, and are just overall so much better. I’ll be sticking with those apps, thank you. Tbh don’t even waste your time downloading this app.

It worked well - until it didn’t. I’m using this app for the past 8 months, maybe even longer. In the beginning it worked well. Lately, I get messages “Server Error. Try again later” every 5 minutes, can’t really create anything. Searching for stock movies takes a very long time(if they load at all). The biggest annoyance is when I hit “save” and it I get an error message and my work isn’t saved. I already did the “delete app-install again”, didn’t help. The other issue I have with this app is the fact that when I manage to make a story video, 8 out of 10 times when I post my video on FB, I get a “dispute”message from a 3rd party about the stock videos I used in Instories app. Disputing the video changes on FB takes time and frankly, it’s getting annoying. I don’t mind if it happens here and there, but this is not something I want to deal with so often. I already checked and updated my phone, didn’t help either. I don’t think I’ll subscribe for another year.

Total gimmick. I signed up for the trial which ends in 3 days But before the 3days are even up, they charge you for the full subscription When I went to Apple to report the problem it came back right away that they can’t do anything about. In the app—it keeps asking you to go pro or ask for help there is not settings feature to go to and easily found how to cancel the trial period Took me 1 hr before I even found that and by then I was already charged and subscribed through August 10, 2020 even though I found the app useless and not user friendly

No more free music 🥲. I’m a social media manager and this app was my lifesaver! It had everything you needed to make great video content, and that included music. I don’t know how long ago this happened but their music selection is no longer available. You use to be able to add top 40 hits onto your video which was amazing for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Now, you have to purchase the individual songs to be able to include them. I’m aware that this likely has to do with royalties, etc but if they offered it before what happened for this feature to be gone? Yes, there’s the royalty free music, but you can get that on any other app for free. Without the music feature, there’s really no point in paying for this app. There are other apps out there that are comparable and cheaper. Sad to be switching! I loved this app. ☹️

Love the app, but one terrible hangup!. I use this app so much and pay for the pro version! I LOVE the templates and designs and music. My only issue is that when selecting images to use, it freezes when scrolling and I either have to scroll extremely slow or when that doesn’t work, just wait for it to unstick every couple of seconds. It’s the worst! I hope they provide an update to this! Most times I give up and sometimes head to another app!

Overpriced and doesn’t work.. I paid the yearly fee, it’s not cheap. I’ve had this app for a few years now, and it always crashes takes forever to save. I thought the few years past it might’ve gotten better, it did not. I spent a few days on a project and it won’t save it, I’m trying to save each page separately, and it keeps crashing. There’s other app for $14 that do exactly the same things. I’m confused why this app is so expensive. What am I paying for? Especially if it keeps crashing and doesn’t work. I normally don’t write reviews but I’m irritated that I spent so much money for something that does not work, I want a refund.

A MUST for every insta user. I can't actually believe how good this app is. I can't even imagine posting stories without it! Since using it people have constantly mailed me asking me what app I use for stories, even my boss asked me! It's so easy to use and I really mean that! Beautifully updated templates, they've thought of everything! 11/10

Time saver at work. Helps so much with my social media promotion. I have access to photoshop and other tools but this one is my go to. It offers so many user friendly templates. I’m not overly creative so my first few projects were pretty cookie cutter but after getting comfortable, I make tons of really cool, unique content. I’m really amazed because It saves so much time and doesn’t cut into the quality of the post. It’s fantastic for all small business! I mean it’s great for everyone especially influencers. Super easy to navigate. I think most preteens could learn to use this app, it’s that easy.

Simply the best!. I was using Mojo and other app until I found Instories. OMG. This is by far the best app I’ve ever used to great stories and post for my social medias. What I liked the most, before Apple changed the rule, was the fact that I could use 30sec for free of any song from ITunes. Now I purchase each song from iTunes in order to use them with my videos and they become available instantly. The only thing that I missed is the ability to sync on all my devices. I am sure the are already working on it. Templates are great and modern. And the app is so easy to use and the UX is at top level. When there is a problem, their customer service replies very quickly. Which is helpful when you are experiencing a little bug or glitch in the app. Keep up the good work. You’re the best!

I loved this app and now it's just frustrating.. This app has everything one may need: access to great music, amazing templates, and just everything to create cool stories in 5 seconds. The issues: it crashes often, freezes after each download or major edit to a story, and the worst- sometimes the stories download with half of the screen blank. What's the point of a story that's half erased? I have contacted support several times, sent screenshots, and overall asked for help- no changes. I will note that I'm a premium user, so it's even worse that I have to keep finding workarounds for a product I actually invested money in. I will reinforce that the app has a lot of pluses when it's actually working, which is unfortunately not all the time. Please fix the issues.

The best of its kind but not there yet. After spending time making an awesome creative post I went to post it and the opacity editing and a few color edits disappeared and it ruined the whole thing so I went back and fixed it. I would pay for a full version but never pay for a subscription or anything even near a hundred dollars...despite all that it’s the best app that does what it does it’s just not even close to being worth even a fraction of the monthly rate...

Would be great if it didn’t force close!. I just downloaded this app today and really like the features! Unfortunately, despite having the most recent version of the app, the most recent update, and the most recent model of iPhone...this app force closes constantly. It’s impossible to export anything. Force closed at 40%, tried again and it force closed at 60%...so on and so on. I tried at least a dozen times and then to add insult to injury it started force closing on me while I was editing in the app as well. Extremely frustrating! The edits look great and it’s easy to navigate, but unfortunately the glitches just make it a waste of time since you can’t download anything. Hopefully something that can be fixed, but I’m the meantime I’ll be looking for an alternative app that functions properly.

Won’t Upload!! Won’t save !—Update Problem Solved. I have a paid annual subscription and I try to upload to my Instagram or save to my phone after 30 mins of making sure my screen doesn’t close still nothing happens but if I let my screen go black and cut it back on I see a check mark saying it went through but when I go check ...it not saved to my phone or uploaded to my Instagram! Please help Developers got back with me I just had to re start my phone Now this app is wonderful love the templates very easy to use !

Great for what it is, but the constant unstable updates kills it. This is a very amazing app for producing some wonderful Instagram stories, but the app is consistently having bugs and I find that unacceptable for such an expensive app. I now only keep one of my devices updated and use an older version on the other that still actually works. Adequate testing of updates before release is something they need to work on, because it’s what’s killing my enjoyment of this app.

Subscription cancelled during free trial.. Needs work. I found all of the options to be really short. When you are looking through the templates, they don’t tell you how long the template is, or how many videos/pictures are required. If your video is longer or shorter than the recommended length for that template, there’s no option to speed it up or slow it down. Disappointing. Subscription cancelled during free trial.

Glitches and freezes. The app used to work seamlessly before the recent update. Decided to sign up today with a 3 day trial. But after coming across these bugs, I’m going to skip subscription for now until these issues are fixed. A note to the developer , I noticed now the app sometimes freezes when you upload a photo / video. I had to force quit the app a few times and to relaunch it to bypass the freeze. It used to work without a problem. Also, one of the stock vídeo is not playing back in the final exported video. To be specific which vídeo I’m referring to, it is the “2020” stock video of gold candles and a pink background when a hand repositions the candle. On the exported video, the stock vídeo is not moving. It shows moving in the preview, however, it doesn’t move after exporting to the camera roll. I tested it out with a different stock vídeo and it worked fine, just not with the 2020 candle video. I really like the Wishlist template with the red background and 3 circles. I like that you can move all the elements on the page, however, you can’t move the circle around the image/video. Can you please allow for the circles to be moved and/or deleted.

I Found 2 Free Templates in 45 min.... Lots of, what I assume are, great templates for... everything you could possibly imagine. However, It takes a good while to learn how to work with the app so that you're not super slow. Just the creative options will take a half hour to make something decent. That's good to have a great selection, don't get me wrong, but I'm counting minutes of use. Your not gonna be making anything flashy in under 30-45 minutes for awhile. So, in the amount of time you would give yourself to be comfortable with an app that is charging THAT MUCH, you want to be SURE you can, and will use it... Since youll be paying for a year. I'd Say 3 or 4 template a day for a week before I'd commit. Except you'll run of everything free (that you would want to even use.. Remember, they don't give away anything people will pay for) so, the free stuff is straight garbage. And, they trust potential customers SOOOO much that they will let you build a pro template all day, every day, but they WATERMARK the 10 sec preview. Can't save it, obviously, no free use of the pro stuff, and "tell me you think Im potential shady, without saying I'm potentially shady." Oh. A watermark on a 10 sec preview playback. Lol

Classy Templates. Smart Design. Everything I’ve been wanting an app to accomplish for marketing. Being able to design on brand for multiple brands all in the same setting on my mobile is such a time saver/life saver. I think it’s so important as a designer to experience the design as the end user would on their mobile while I’m creating. Real progress in technology here. Good job developers and managers.

I am very upset. It is misleading to state you are giving a customer a three day free trial. Trial is a deciding period that comes without attachments. Furthermore I was charged for a year subscription twice. I am being charged twice and the app doesn’t seem to be working at all. It won’t upload videos. I’m very concerned that my email account . I am very concerned that the email located on your home page reads as not a valid email when I try to reach out for help. This seems like it my be a decent app and you are experiencing problems, but you really need to work with me and then I will change my rating here.

Clío limit and bugs. Great app. Some Bugs. App crashes on first export and when returning to the app the project is empty. The screen blinks when looking through camera roll on import so it’s almost impossible to find old photos when scrolling. Also PLEASE adjust the clip length limitation. It’s currently set to 60 seconds but instagram allows for longer uploads.

Good app but files sizes too big…. This is a great app! I’m a blogger moving into the web stories and Pinterest stories space. This tool has cool graphics design and movement tools, but I need two things for it to be worth the dough. 1. Export as mp4 (not QuickTime movie) 2. Control file size - web stories and servers won’t take 1080p and it loads slowly for users. I need 720p. Let me know if you’d like to chat more about my specific use case. None of my blogger friends have a good tool, this could meet a huge need.

Terrible. So far - terrible app, three days if the trial were spent trying to at least load one pic , but app freezes constantly. Couldn’t do any stories wasted a very precious time, and couldn't cancel subscription ( that part is worked out without any bugs) Trying to contact the developer about canceling the subscription : No contacts, no valid email Will contact AppStore with complaints and will cancel the credit card charges as not authorized.

what happened?. I really loved this app but lately it’s like pulling teeth to get things to load. What is going on? The app closes, it won’t post to IG and the videos just won’t load or save? To pay for the premium service and getting this is disappointing. Also, it’s nice to have so many template options but since I use the podcast options the most, I find myself using the same template. any chance there will be new templates within the existing options?

Impressive App that COULD be INCREDIBLE!. Very impressed with the caliber and quality of this application. I’ve only used it for a few days and I look forward to expanding this. I use this for my upscale high end wholesale gemstone business and a designer jewelry business I rep. There are so many poor, cheap apps out there but this is definitely NOT one of those! If you’re after the highest quality with incredible options (like being able to change the display ratio of images) just jump in and do it! The flexibility of this is unmatched from any other apps I’ve seen. I strongly want to up my rating of 4 to 5 but I’d like to suggest to your tech department that you make the app sync between devices and definitely have it display horizontally on an iPad! By doing so you would absolutely OWN THIS SPACE! Your app is FAR SUPERIOR to any other out there and you would completely solidify your position in the market! I can almost guarantee that your subscription rate would probably double. Also if you were to expand and add the features of Planoly for posting and make this sync to a desktop it would be astounding! No one would be able to touch you! Thanks again for the nice app, and hopefully a great app in the future!

Issue with saving projects to device. I’ve loved this app since day one but recently I have had no luck downloading any projects to my phone. I’ve tried every way, double checks settings on the app and my phone, even deleted the app (well don’t do that I LOST all my previous projects!!) please help!!

Best investment for my business by far !. I would not be able to manage or enjoy Instagram for business as much as I do with this app. Instories has allowed me to save time and and money - and have fun. So many options. So easy to use and customize. Thank you for such an amazing app and keeping it update! Fan for life. Now I need to remember to tag the app on my stories. That something I always forget.

Camera Roll Access. I just downloaded this app and chose not to pay for the subscription version. I wanted to make a short tutorial for a business. Eve hen it asked for permission to use my camera roll, I chose what I always do “Select Photos/Videos.” And selected the single video I wanted for the project I am doing. The app will not let me move forward without providing them access to my whole camera roll. That is super sketchy. I should be able to select the few images and media I want to share with an app that may or may not send my information to the third party services listed in its privacy policy.

Won't allow you to use your own ITunes library. The app doesn't allow you to use your own library of songs when creating a project. I find this incredibly frustrating because it only allows access to maybe 1% of your entire library. The app will even ask you to purchase a song that you already have previously downloaded/purchased in your library. Of course there is no contact information to resolve this. I have already purchased the InStories most expensive option for year and this by far the worst unavailable feature on the app.

The update didn’t make things any better. Seriously I pay money for this app and it was great to begin with and now it freezes and it’s so frustrating to use. Please fix otherwise I’ll move on to another app and cancel my subscription.

Free app, that you have to pay to use. Free > download > paywall before use. Enough said. Don’t download this unless you are wanting to pay to try it out.

SCAM. I went on supposedly what was a free trail but they immediately charged me $24.98. Utter shock!

Love this app. I use this for retail store. Allows you to use many templates add music. Easy to work out the editing. Love it!

Great potential. This app can do a lot of cool stuff but it glitches like crazy. Changes you make in a video don’t correlate when you watch the preview. Screens freeze and zoom etc when those edits are not turned on. 1 hour into a video clip Edit and I saved it as a upgraded to premium and came back to an unsaved video and my whole edit was lost. Play around first with saves before you start a serious edit and lose it all

Can’t use iTunes music anymore…🙄. Before the update, I was able to use any iTunes song for my videos, now I have to pay all of a sudden….really annoying and inconvenient 😑

Instories app is clunky and hard to use so I don’t. And now I have an app on my phone reminding me constantly that I got duped into paying $80 for something I don’t use

Quality. Hey guys absolutely love this app it really helps my small business. But why is the quality going when I upload it to Instagram?

Took $80 from my account without asking or any warning….. I signed up for a free trial. I was never asked for a length of subscription (eg. 1 week, 1 month, 1 year) They automatically signed me up for 1 year and without any warning $80 has been taken from my account. Don’t even risk it….

Buggy on iOS. Not sure if I’m not using it right but the text on the time line seems to stay for the entire duration of the video even though I’ve timed it to end at certain seconds within the clip. I cancelled my trial until this issue gets sorted.

Making your own reels without a template is near impossible. It’s an extremely cumbersome app to use if you don’t want to use an existing template or if you want to edit a template. For $80 I expected much more from this

Rendering Glitch. I generally love this app but for some reason the music is glitching …it’s still there but it slows down midway through the video making it impossible to use.

App keeps crashing :(. I don’t want to say anything bad about this app because I love it, but lately it’s been opening for maybe 5 to 8 seconds and then crashing. I have an iPad Pro, not sure if that helps. I do pay for a subscription also which is making this situation a little more frustrating.

Terrible app.. After working on a stories for a couple of hours you try to save it and it doesn’t save to your albums. I’ve tried to get this issue fixed using their support system and the person takes a full day for each response to the point where they stop helping you. Some video save and most don’t. They also have an issue with their music it cuts out in the middle of your video.

Almost bought it. Can’t figure out a way to stop music from fading out at the end of my video, I don’t know why you would force that effect by default.

Have to pay. There isn’t a single free thing on this app other then Inspiration maybe you can make them all but can’t save it and it’s expensive. Save ur phone space for a better app

Not working. We are trying to transfer this project to Instagram, and it’s not working. It’s not saving to the album nothing to do with this !!

A scummy way of doing business.. I downloaded this app and opted for the free trial. I was not prompted to get the full one year subscription or to cancel the subscription and I was automatically charged 63.99. I am unable to get a refund from the Apple Store. The response I got from from customer support was “according to the conditions, subscription is activated automatically 24 hours before the end of your trial period. When you choose a 3 day trial period, you accept this conditions.” I do travel videos on youtube, and I will make sure to spread the word of how scummy certain apps can be. It might be in the terms of service, but it’s still a horrible way of doing business.

Disappointed. I got the app to try it out and I can use the templates which is great but without music… what’s the point? I cancelled it right away.

Ai Avatars didn’t work. I purchased ai Avatars and when it was done it gave me nothing nothing anywhere…when I went back after several times to the ai avatar section all my photos I chose were still there so I thought maybe there was an error…after purchasing it a second time later my 100 avatars were available in the projects page and I couldn’t stop my second purchase of avatars from generating. I requested a refund but who k owe if I’ll get it. I could remember the exact “styles” I chose before so one of them is different than what I chose on the error one. When it finishes and says it’s done and the avatars aren’t there you have to still wait a while before they even show up!

Garbage. So hard to use. Will only save half of my video and when when I try to upload a video it selects a different file. So frustrating and stupid.

Bug in App. After I updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max to latest IOS , I thought that would resolve the issue but it’s being consistent. When it comes to upload on IG or even save to my camera gallery, the app render to 60% then froze forever. FYI I did re install the app couple of times. I’d kindly appreciate if support can help as I use this app for business. Thank you .

Best. I’m using this app more than 3 years, I had try many different apps, but chose this, and really happy. In my opinion this is the best story maker, and video creator.

Music Copyright Issues. The templates are great and so easy to use but once you finish your reel it tells you that you can’t use the music due to copy right issues…. What is the point… delete.

?Beta Application. Cool concept. Similar to multiple users here (reviews), tried uploading to IG or saving to phone w/o success. Didnt wanna reach out to tech support given it appears to be a known issue that persists. Poor app performance makes me think it is a beta with the premium upfront charge.

Great marketing… way to Buggy…. Trialed it with the bare minimum basics. So many text overlapping bugs, audio stopping mid previews. Great marketing, not worth the price or effort to do the work arounds to get it to work. It’s easier to slap Something together in FCPX than use this buggy over glorified app. Don’t waste your time.

Today’s update. Today’s update has crashed me over 50 times as I have been trying to do something for work. It will not download/ export anything and continues to overheat my phone and crash. Before this update, I’d give 5 stars right now solid 1 🤔... hope it gets fixed so I can give you a 5 star!

Did not save my project. I tried the free trial with the intention to purchase if I loved the features. The app is not super self explanatory ~ it took a good 30 minutes to make a project that I liked enough to save. When I saved the project ~ it was no where to be found even though it said it was downloaded to my photos. I turned my phone off & tried again to save the project but to no avail, as nothing seemed to work to be able to use the project in any platform. Disappointed.

The BEST story design app in the store! Swear!. All the other apps I’ve seen so far similar to this are no where near as user friendly, advanced, or able to come close to consistently high quality designs like this app is able to. Don’t like new update. I love your app! It has made making beautiful stories so much easier. Still getting familiar with other features. But I dropped from 5 to 4 star review bc the new update is not user friendly l! I’m actually having a very hard time with it.

Quits constantly can’t change the text. I would love this app bit it freezes and quits when I try to add text or change it... not friendly...

Slow load of camera roll. The app works well and I like the templates but it takes forever to load my camera roll when I want to add my own photos to a template. I don’t have this problem with other apps such as Unfold etc. it really interrupts my work flow and should be improved.

Video Upload. Love this app but hate all the bugs that need to be fixed. My videos sometimes won’t upload to the app and they aren’t even long videos maybe 8 sec so it’s frustrating when I’m unable to upload a video when needed other than that good app

Great app. Instories is one of my go to apps. I love how you can mix videos with pictures and slide shows. It has some great features to help tell a story. I wanted this to help my stuff stand out in social media. I can create stuff here and add it to another app. It’s amazing!

Great app. Overall, very nice app. Easy to use. Only thing I wish it had was a search function. Sometimes so just want to jump to a section instead of having to scroll all the way to the bottom to find what I want.

Great app but sometimes won’t download after update. I love this app but after the most recent update the files don’t download to my phone. Screen freezes but the graphics/videos won’t download. They’re saved in the app though. Thats good but I need to be able to use them :/

Time limit. Time limit for a video need to extend to at least 2 minutes. I’m using it full version but 1 minute is low. I post videos on instagram. Instagram has reel limit for 2 minutes. Please raise the time limit to at least 2 minutes. Other than that great app. Love it. Appreciate your business.

Using Music in app. This app is wonderful but the only problem I am facing is that fact that i am spending all this money but i cant choose a specific part of a song to use. Its just a 30 second clip of a random part of the song. It would be nice to have the option to choose which part of the song you can use.

Won’t export at all - even after restart. Stories won’t upload or save… it starts saving then gets to like 18% then either crashes - or says success! BUT ITS NOT EXPORTED…like other users I have a paid subscription - hope this is fixed or I’ll need to cancel it.

Great, but doesn’t let you upload your logo.. I’ve been using this app for almost a year. I paid for it so I could stand out my clients social media stories. In the beggining sometimes it let me upload some logos, but after a month I have not been able to upload anymore.

Google Drive and Dropbox. Can you add functionality to use photos from Google Drive and Dropbox? I don’t always have the photos I want to use on my phone and would love to be able to access my images from cloud services like the ones mentioned above.

Awesome tool but freezes :(. Love this editor! Very customizable and easy to work with templates, new ones being added - I highly recommend! However, the app freezes on iPhone 12 Pro, especially when I try to select a video from a folder.

Amazing app!. I saw this app ads on Facebook. I looked at it, and just downloaded. I love how easy it is to use it. It has many great features to play around with, especially it has real music with current hottest singers, and rappers. Definitely a app for everyone.

Fix the bugs for this price. I love the overall use of the app. The problem is when you are creating a few slides, it will randomly not let you save them and they will all be white. Yes, everything on what you created goes white - the words, graphics, and photo background. I’ve had to start over way too many times. Starting from scratch should not have to happen. Fix the bugs

What’s happening with this app?. When I first subscribed to this app, I absolutely loved it. Now, for the past few weeks, it crashes or it does not post to Instagram. I am a paying member and feel very frustrated that I can’t seem to get any support about what has been happening.

WORTH the MONEY!. Honestly, I usually am skeptical about paying for apps because they never live up to my expectations. HOWEVER, this app is AMAZING! It’s definitely worth the money. I’ve created so many professional stories and I’ve been getting lots of compliments as well! Great app!

YOU ALMOST HAD ME. No doubt the graphics, templates, and quality is good. However, in a app market that is just SOOOO competitive, $120 bucks for the app isn’t great. To pull away from the field, to lure me in if you will, you have to give 24hr free access to test drive, without tying down someone to the buy. That would be excellent. I don’t know how easy it is to navigate, how long to edit images, videos….nothing. Your price point .

Maybe next time. I wanted to like/use this app for my business but it appears to be kind of complicated… it automatically routes me to my settings which there isn’t anything left for me to do settings wise in order to give the app access to my pictures and videos. I literally downloaded this app all of about 10 minutes ago and just that fast I have to get rid of it.

Bought it- completely stopped working. I bought this app because I was enjoying the trial. I love what it can do, but as soon as I bought it, my videos will not save send or leave the app. Now I have created content and I am not able to actually use it. When trying to find somebody to fix this, they have no support team that I can find anywhere. I would not spend your money on this considering there is no way to fix the app when it goes down. Money straight out the window...

Stalling badly!!. I’ve used this app for over a year now and I’m paying for it. Not sure what the issue is or if everyone is experiencing this, but I’m on an iPhone 12 and it stalls badly when trying to add the pictures to the slides. So much so that I just give up and try to create content elsewhere. Please fix whatever this is. It’s been happening for far too long now.

Cannot access font selections on iPad. I’m having difficulties getting to the font selections when working on the iPad. They appear at the very bottom of the screen and I cannot scroll down far enough to access them. It keeps me from wanting to continue working with this app.

Not great. You can’t edit media in the app( resize ). You can’t review the music playing when using reel templates. Only when you upload to instagram or whatever app your using & You can’t preview any other templates without adding your own media first. You see them playing but once you touch one it goes to add media

I was still deciding if I liked the app and if it would work for what I needed and my subscription doesn’t run out until the 10th- (today is the 8th) but they locked it down to where I can’t do anything even though they have my money until the 10th. Scam trial charges twice the usual price. Don’t get sucked into paying an exorbitant price for the yearly subscription when you click through from instagram. This app charges twice as much as the yearly price when you don’t realize the trial lasts only two days. Money grab app with capabilities you can find elsewhere for far less.

Great tool for marketing. I love using this app. I purchased it fir the tear and use it to create videos for my IGTV as well as marketing videos or digital flyers for my businesses. It was totally worth the investment (3 weeks of use) and I have yet to learn and use it’s vast features.

Amazing. This app brings a whole new level of creativity for my Instagram gallery. It becomes a natural extension of my photography and adds a new layer of pride to my hobby. I hope the devs and designers create dark or moody backgrounds soon. I feel it would really enhance my work and align with my style and imagination.

Story Ads Game Changer. I use this app to create quick IG/FB story video ads on my phone. It’s so easy and gives me the ability to create ads that are a little more visually exciting than a static image when I have zero video editing experience. Love it.

Music Feature Malfunction.. I downloaded and purchased the app because of the music feature that isn’t available on my instagram. I’m disappointed because I paid for this months service and the music feature isn’t even working on the Instories App. Please fix the issue! It is very frustrating because I use the app a lot for business. I love the app and will be willing to write an updated review once this issue is fixed.

Waste of money. I keeping trying to download my videos but it won’t. Also my media won’t upload properly. It’s not that I don’t know how to use the app, I do and have made one really great reel, but I haven’t been able to get it to work now I signed up for the free trial thinking I can just do the month to month option after it ended but instead it automatically billed me almost $120 for the year

Crash. I like all the options but the fact it kept crashing not really gives me pleasure to pay for this app. I’ve tried different devices and all of them crashed while editing and even more often during saving process.

AMAZING app!. The templates are gorgeous & sleek, & there are so many to choose from. The app is very easy to use & your story will be ready in no time. I like that everything is customizable, which is great for businesses, because they can insert their own fonts & color palettes.

Trying to upload photos. I hope to come on here and give it 5 stars. The app won’t allow me to upload photos. I gave permission to use my camera and when I click the plus sign to upload photos nothing comes up. It just sits there.

Frustrating!!!. I paid 120$ for this app, and saving my projects on my phone is a nightmare. I have to try and save a dozen or so times in order for it to go into my camera roll. Having space on my device is not an issue, since i have the 1TB device. Clearly the developer did something to the latest update and it needs to be resolved.

Change of heart…. I guess a few changes were made since I last used the app, so it was difficult to edit duration. I do love the app, but I also wish the music restriction wasn’t there. It was better before the changes.

Glitchy. Same as other recent reviews. Won’t save. I have plenty of storage, restarted phone, etc. App crashes when in the middle of saving to Instagram and phone. Tried both ways. Great app but I’m not going to buy this when it crashes. Don’t ask me to message you just fix it, obviously there’s a glitch. Nice features though and was fun making a story.

Where’s the genre music?. I love this app! It makes my stories interesting and I loved that I could add music to it since my music feature doesn’t exist on Instagram. It hasn’t been loading genre music for a week. Why??!

Love it but one issue. I really love this app. I did not give it 5 stars because on many occasions it doesn’t save what you just did and you have to do it a few times. It’s a bit frustrating when you are in a hurry to post content.
