How do you DM?!?. It’s an great update to use on the Apple Watch! However, there seems to be no way to create an original message. I can receive DM’s and if I hit reply immediately it works, but to start a message it doesn’t seem like it supports that feature, which is ridiculous. What if you can’t reply right away, so now you have to wait until you use your phone or computer, not right.

Works pretty well. Everything I tried seemed to work however it seems that if videos are posted with slides, they can’t be viewed. Not much of an issue because watching videos on such a small screen is pretty dumb anyways.

Incredibly buggy. In my experience this app is incredibly buggy and glitchy. It frequently lets me know that I should try again in a few moments or that it can’t do this or it can’t do that. You have to pay for the simple act of watching stories, I understand that the developer deserves to make money off the app they created but one could argue that they are limiting access to a feature of Instagram that is nearly as important as posts. I paid to watch stories and because of how buggy the app is, I cannot. I recommend you stay away and just use your phone.

It doesn’t work. This version no longer works, it does not load activity, messages, or feed, I uninstalled it and reinstalled by logging in and it still does not work at all, I expect a prompt solution from the developer because I pay to have all the features

Price Structure. In Lens Pro there are 3 prices $1.99,$2.99 & $3.99. No explanation what are differences among 3. Otherwise hard to decide which one to purchase.

Not even one star!!!! If I could half that one I would. Can’t log into account! Keep getting error message.

Why get something for messages that doesn’t message. Anytime I open private messages and click on a conversation it loads then takes me out the app immediately please fix your bugs if you are going to charge money

RECOMMEND. Okay to be honest I don’t ever write reviews on apps but I’ve been looking for an app for instagram! I definitely recommend this app, I did get the pro which was 1.99$ not bad at all! It does need some improvement but I look forward to it. The stories app is pretty slow and the feed I’m getting isn’t like recent is from 22hrs ago but otherwise then that I’m excited to finally be able to see instagram from my wrist again!

Won’t log in. After multiple failed attempts and even buying the pro version, I have had zero success getting this app to work properly. Even after force quitting the app on the iPhone and Watch, then signing back in, it still doesn’t work properly. Seems like a feature they would want have work flawlessly before putting it out on the App Store. If not fixed soon, I would hope they refund the $1.99 I paid for the pro subscription

It’s ok. I honestly really like this app but there a couple problems here and there first of all you can’t see some of the videos like edits or videos with music when you slide to the right also sometimes when you swipe to the right to see other pictures it just shows a black screen instead of letting you see the picture

I get no notificatuons. The app needs work I get notification from IG but not from lens makes no sense to have this app downloaded and wasting storage space might as well use my phone

Hit and miss. Update on 7/8/19 - Just installed the new update and I can finally see my feed!!! Unfortunately, after looking at 3-4 posts (clicking into them to see the photo(s) in a row, the app locks with a spinning circle. I’ve rebooted and can consistently produce the lockup. How can I help? You are getting close. I was even able to “like” and add a comment. I’ve had this app since shortly after its initial release. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. This release doesn't. I’d love to get the pro version, but the free version needs to be stable first. The developer support link returns a 404 error? Two months since the last update. Home no longer loads posts. What’s the deal, is a new release pending?

Can’t login. Won’t let me login. Doesn’t work

it’s decent. only things that needs fixed is you need to put an “x” in the top left corner on the stories because once you press on someone’s, the only way to get off it is by closing the app. Also i frequently have to go back on my phone to log in, if you include an option to stay logged in then the app would be wonderful.

The app will not load.. The app will not open, it keeps saying the lend app is not installed.

Can’t DM. Paid for the pro version and I can see my dms but I can’t type to make one or even reply at all

Not ready for public consumption.. Does not work at all. Bad UI design, initially, at least. I open the app and the splash screen appears with a lens icon and the words “Log Into Instagram” with zero indication that you need to tap the words to log in. It doesn’t take a huge leap to figure it out but it’s still weak design. Then when I do tap on it, I get a pop-up that says “The app is not installed on the watch!” I tap OK and the app crashes. This happens over and over. Delete the app, reinstall it, was actually able to log in, but another splash screen appears and gives me 3 options: “Buy Lens Pro”, “Restore Purchases”, and “Log Out”. No option is available just to try out the app. My initial experience was pretty negative so I’m just going to delete the app and not look back. This app does not seem ready for for public consumption.

New Update. I did not use this app prior to the new update but I love it!!

Review. I was very excited about using this app. Instagram is how I communicate with many of my friends so I thought it was nice to have an app on my watch to text back on and view content. But it logs me out every time I try to use it and when I log in on my iPhone my watch does not register I logged in. I am annoyed because I love the idea of this app but the actual app has a lot of technical problems.

Wow.. SCAM. Do not spend your money on this app. I did and it won’t let me use it on my watch. It says to log in on my phone but I have multiple times. I’ve restarted my watch and phone still nothing. I don’t want a excuse just fix this app or make it completely free period.

Perfect!!. I rarely write reviews, but this app deserves it! The rating are low, but the developer fixed all of the issues. It’s unfortunate that the people who rated this app low didn’t update their review as well. This app is definitely for you if you just want to take a quick scroll through Instagram. It’s not meant to be a replacement, but a companion where you can easily and quickly access Instagram in a tight space or quickly. Also if you upgrade to pro (Which I definitely think is worth it) you get even more features that makes the app flush and polished on the Apple Watch. Definitely worth every cent I spent on it and I am looking forward to future updates. Also if you end up enjoying the app like me make sure to tip/support the developer, it’s well deserved and worth the time! Thanks for the awesome app!!

Stopped working after a day. I paid 2.99 to activate it to let me use dms and everything and it worked day 1 but the second time i used it, i get a data corrupted error.

My fourth review. Fabulous app. Was and maybe still is a little buggy but have been using it for the part few days a lot and soo happy it exists!!! It’s amazing. My only message to developers is plz make it so you can see and reply to message requests!! I can only see normal messages in my inbox.

What. Worked for one day after I paid, this thing has more bugs than Florida

Disappointed. I purchased lens pro on my iPhone so i can u lock more features in my Apple Watch like insta stories ,messages etc .the app and my bank confirmed the purchase yet I’m still not able to access those features . My watch keeps telling me to purchase pro when i already did .

Excellent App Needs Complications. As a fellow programmer, I fully appreciate all the time and work that went into creating something so great! This is an amazing beginning for this app. Highly recommend giving it a try! A feature request however is please add compilations for the info graph face! It would make the app even more awesome!! Another idea is to add the ability for the complications to open up a particular part of the app. For example maybe have a message complication to open the message portion of the app super fast!! To the developer, thanks for making this app! You rock! Keep up the awesome work!

Can’t even see login page after update. After updating today, I can’t even get to the login screen. It just crashes every time before getting to the sign in screen. Before the update it would just crash when attempting to login. So this is a regression, although I didn’t think that was possible if you couldn’t even log in to the app. I’m a developer as well but this app should have never been released with all of these critical bugs. I mean the app is completely unusable. I haven’t even been able to see what it looks like! That’s crazy.

Too many crashes even for a 1.0. After logging in, the screen was confusing as it just transitions to Buy Pro. There’s no mention that the app is working and you should go to your Watch to continue. I thought for a moment the app made me log in and then wants me to pay before even allowing me to use it. I think you should add some message that says you’re logged in now, open Lens on your Watch to continue, and if you like the app, consider going Pro here. And oh yeah crashes. But I think you’re aware of those already. After a crash it logged me out.

The videos. I was so excited to try this on my Apple Watch and the disappointing thing is the only feature that doesn’t cost money is home, you can’t even access your profile. The other thing is the videos and photos, when I went on the app on my watch their was 3 videos and 1 photos, I wanted to see more and it wouldn’t let me, I kept refreshing and refreshing and nothing else came up besides those 4 images.

it’s pretty cool. The app is kinda laggy, i find it having the most problems when i’m on a post that has more than one photo, and when i try to swipe on it it does this thing where is brings me back to the phot i’m on even if i try to swipe right. but i can message my friends on it and i can still see posts, i got the premium version i had to delete it and log back in because i tried logging into a different account and there was a glitch with my profile saying that i was logged into the account i was first logged into instead of the one i was actually logged into. my messages were the ones on the second account i has logged into so i deleted it and logged in again and then it was fine, and it restored my purchase of premium right away. as my suggestions i recommend you make it so vidoes are playable and fix the photo issue i had before but otherwise this is amazing :)

be aware- you wont be able to send DMs or reply to conversations. you will only be able to read, not to write back! it is disappointed:( i paid for the app so i could do that but actually can’t!

Awful waste of 2$. Only download this app if you hate your instagram account and don’t wanna be able to use it any more. It permanently bugged my account and I can’t do nothing on it anymore

Great app, has few bugs. The main feed on this app is phenomenal! This is a quality app that makes up for Instagrams loss. Now I’m aware this is the the first roll out, so its buggy right now. Whenever I select ‘Stories’ the app will crash. It’s got awhile to go, but I know the developer will continue doing a great job!

Pretty great. It does everything I need it to and works fine even better with premium only issue is that you can’t see shared content inside the messages after that’s fixed it’ll be perfect!

Great app purchase the full version for more. overall this is an amazing app that allows you to use/view Instagram on your wrist and when you purchased the full version it allows you to message, watch stories, search for a user, and also look at their page. The app allows video to be played from your apple watch

Lens 2.0 is finally good for browsing Instagram. I’ve had Lens for years, but the performance, the small images, and the clumsy navigation meant I never used it. 2.0 is a huge change. Uses the full screen, scrolls seamlessly, is fast. Even navigating Stories is solid. I’m really impressed.

Not smooth. I have this app now for three months now and it just doesn’t run smooth. Half of the time it tells me to login again and today it just doesn’t work at all. My watch tells me to log in on the phone app while the app won’t let me log out 🤨🤔

Pretty great, but could use a few things. I really love this app. It's awesome, it's formatted very well for the watch, and it's pretty cool to show off. There's just a few small things that it needs at the moment. For one, I wish that we could have the share option when going through posts. Number two, it'd really complete the Instagram experience if we could comment on posts on the app. Number three, there's no ability to interact with stories, such as sharing or swiping up to respond to it. And lastly; at the moment, there's no way of exiting from looking at a post in full screen - when you click on a carousel post to see the different pictures, or click on an individual pic to see it full-screen, there's no way to exit that and continue using the app. Really annoying, I have to force quit the app so it refreshes and open it again to start using it again

Weird logins from other states. I downloaded this and was happy with it until I started getting security alerts from IG saying there’s logins from other states. Luckily I have 2 factor turned on so no one can reset my pw. But it’s odd that with 2 factor on anyone could actually login to my acct.

Amazing. This app is so cool. Don’t understand the negative reviews. It works really well on my Series 5 watch. I have the pro version of the app as well so the experience is superb. I didn’t think something like this would work on a watch honestly, but it works amazing and for a low price. I love it!

Watch app review. Good app but you have to pay for most of the things If you want to see them like message people or look on people’s story and more you should be able to see it without paying some people might not be able to afford it

Pointless. App on my watch says to sign in on my phone... done that and still won’t work. Tried the usual deleting and reinstalling, but still no luck!

Warning - This app broke Instagram. Linking this app to Instagram has blocked me from my account. Ever since linking this app to my Instagram account, I have been kicked out of Instagram and nothing I do allows me to log back in. Absolutely appalled that this app is allowed to remain in the App Store.

Good for nothing app :(. Paid for the pro features but did not get the features on my watch. The free features work fine, but I would like the pro features to arrive or have my money back! (I’ll update this if there is any sign of the problem being resolved)

Amazing. I’ve been trying to find a good decent Instagram app for my watch for years, but it no avail. Previously the best app was called “WatchView,” and it barely worked. This app in comparison is astonishing, it didn’t just barely work but it’s a delight to use! Fast, great interface and fully featured (even stories work!) Videos dont seem to load in an acceptable time, but I’m going to blame that on the watch hardware rather than the developer. 5/5, an essential watch download

App does not work. This app just crashes everytime you try to open it on the Apple Watch. Pretty disappointing as the concept is great. All features are locked with in app purchases and the only feature that isn’t crashes. App needs work. Using latest Apple Watch S4 on iPhone XS Max.

Having troubles loading videos. Have been using it for a year now. All of a sudden it stopped playing video/reels. Please fix it. I love this app.

Great app but...Lens Pro. I love accessing my feed directly from my Apple Watch but everything else.. I couldn’t say. I just feel like more things should be there without a need for Lens Pro.

Constant Crashes. I haven't been able to test the app because every attempt at opening it causes the app to crash. If this is fixed soon I may be able to give a better review of the app. On my Apple watch is tells me to login on my iPhone, which is impossible due to the crashing issue stated above.

Okay App. I like the concept of the app. I give it a 2 star rating because I can use every FREE aspect of the app except the main aspect which is the “Home” aka the feed. When I click on it, it says “load more posts” except nothing loads. If that were to be fixed than it would definitely be closer to a 5 star rating.

Better than expected. I downloaded and tried it out today. Upgraded to Pro. I like it and it works well. However, why no watch face complication? This makes it far less useable. I need that shortcut pleaseeeeee!!

Works like a champ. Not sure what happened to those previous post but the app works perfectly on my watch no loading issue, even bought the pro version.

Doesn’t work well. I just downloaded this app for my Apple Watch series 5 and also paid for the Pro version; however, videos don’t load to watch Stories. (Just stays at“loading.”) Gave up after 10 minutes of it saying it was loading. Also, it doesn’t play more than one photo under Stories. I would like a reimbursement.

DOWNLOAD IT!. It’s worth it. If it wouldn’t download on your watch be patient. It may need to charge or something to download it. Yesterday I got this app and it didn’t work because my battery was on 19%. If you recharge it it work absolutely great.

Great idea. Poor coding.. Love the idea of this app! It looks great and is well thought out. I paid to upgrade right away. Unfortunately it crashes constantly on the watch whenever you try to do anything (series 4) and when you relaunch you have to log into Instagram again on the iPhone. Rendering the app fairly useless.

Crashes after not detecting IG login. When I launch it, I’m asked to log into Instagram, even though I’m already logged in. When I tap the screen, it immediately crashed. Very disappointing I installed on my watch, where it repeatedly tells me to log into IG Hopefully this gets fixed soon (despite the current notes indicating that this version fixed this problem)

Post update: still not functional. I don't doubt that this is a great app but as of now it's useless. Upon opening the app it either crashes or refuses to pull up the login page.

Says there is an error. The apps satisfy all the promises functions and it does the job. I bought the pro so that I could use the messages on insta on my Apple Watch but everyone I click on messages a error messages pops up that says “the data couldn’t be read because it instead in the correct format” I tried restarting my phone and watch and redownloading and everything but nothing seems to work.

Still has buggy. Lots of potential, I bought the pro version to support the project and in hopes that it would help fix the auto log out. App is still logging me out after about a minute and making me relogin on my phone. Looking forward to the finished product!!

App has been broken for too long. As a user who has had this app since day 1, I'm pretty sure my app only worked at least a month before bugs and more stuff ruined it. Now I can't load anything on the home page yet the activity page works. Just either remove the whole app or let us use the pro features for free dude.

Main feed won’t load. The one reason I use lens no longer functions. I can access the stories, messages, activity, but NOT the main feed. Please fix. I’ve tried rebooting the watch and the phone, logging out and in again and removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing fixes the issue.

My problem is.... The app is not laggy or anything but the volume is so high !! Is there a way to turn it down or shut it completely off??

Video loading times. Video loading times are crazy long I’ve been waiting about 6 minutes with no sign of it starting on aw3 but other than that the app is solid and will definitely be purchasing soon this will keep my phone away in my pocket

It works!. It works great. After deleting and reinstalling it fixed the issue. Great way to access Instagram.

Pretty good. I think it’s pretty good and plan on buying pro like I did with chirp, but I’m not sure because each time I click on a video the volume is automatically full and when I clicked a vid I got in trouble in my class, can you fix this? Then I will consider buying pro

Awful. This app has so many flaws despite the creators claiming there’s been “improvements”. It worked fine the first 2 minutes I had it then when I watched a video it wouldn’t let me X out of the video and it just kept replaying and it was stuck on that screen. So I deleted it and tried re installing it but there’s just a blank circle on my watch and it’s been installing on my watch from the App Store for 2 hours.

Works perfect if you get full version!. If you pay for it it is worth it! Works great on my Apple series 6 ❤️

It has good potential but has a problem. I like the app however my feed is showing posts from 16-20hrs ago and repeating the same posts whenever I refresh. It’s not like the Instagram constant new content feed that I know. I tried the clear cache feature but that didn’t help. Any advise please?

Update for the name 1.2.2. After the update the app crashes on the phone and i can’t enter the acc to open on the watch before this update everything was perfect

Rip off. I do not recommend getting this app unless you want to get ripped off I , payed , for the bro to access my messages in the app and when I paid it said thanks for tipping even tho I paid for pro not paid for a tip do not recommend just takes your money and doasnt do anything

Not bad. Cool app, finally got it to work after uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting both watch and iPhone (should not require this much hassle). Wish everything wasn't locked behind a paywall that you don't see till you are on the watch, but I like the concept still

Doesn’t work with new Apple Watch series 6. Tried emailing the company at the email provided and it doesn’t send to them comes back undeliverable mail!!

Lens Pro Purchase. I love this app for the ease it has to use Instagram but I bought lens pro and it’s not letting me use any of the features, this annoying because I spent money for this app and it doesn’t work.

Outstanding after update!. After the new update I could login. Bought the pro version, the app is incredible. Basically the entire Instagram experience on your wrist. Loads pretty quick on my S4.

Was good but it’s not working anymore !. I bought this about a month or two ago for my watch, it worked great and i bought the pro version because i loved it so much. I recently got into it and it said there was an error, the app is updated and i’m not sure what to do.

Terrible. This app is terrible and not ready for public release. After viewing approximately 5 photos on my Home timeline on the Apple Watch, no more photos would load. The other main Instagram tabs (Stories, Profile, etc...) are Pro features that require in-app purchase. I deleted the app within 5 minutes.

Paid for Pro version but. It says in the settings that I've Not Paid and I have no Pro options. I found a Discord channel for this app and there are plenty of posts about this same experience, paying for Pro but not getting the options. I'd like a refund

Restore. I love this app but I cant restore my purchase!!! I got premium and now it don’t work

Bad. This app doesn’t let view my feed on my watch even after I bought the pro version I would like a refund I feel robbed due to the inconvenience of the app bugging out on me and constantly requesting me to log into my Instagram although I have and I saved my information on it

Buying pro. Im enjoying the app but I’m a little skeptical I bought pro I think but I don’t know if it’s a monthly payment or not.

Unusable. So I purchased the pro version.. When you click on a post, scroll through the content, how do you get out? There's no way for me to go back to the main page without closing the app and reopening.. Am I the only one experiencing this or is this app just not worth it? In any case, this is just terrible..

Great app. This is a great app after the recent fix for messages! I have found this SUPER super useful when ever I need to check a message.

Messaging. Every time I try and look at the messages section it tells me “Error the data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format.” I have tried switching the formats and still it will not let me.

Login issues. The concept is great, but the app ok the watch continuously asks for me to login via the iPhone when in fact I have. When I say continuously, I mean you every 2 seconds. If this issue is improved it would be much better!

A scam. The feature to pay for full access to the rest of the stuff in the app does not work, I mean it works in the sense it takes your money but that’s about it. It won’t give you access to the stuff, and their support team via email does not respond… sorry I meant they don’t have a support team via email. Don’t pay for it

literal underrated app. app works great on AW6, aside from a few minor quirks. the low ratings aren’t justified at all. best thing is that you don’t need wifi or lte to open the app, just bluetooth only

Notifications. It would be great if I could get notifications from this app. I have the pro version and I'm happy that all areas are finally loading again, but notifications, especially for messages would be very welcomed.

Can’t login. It’s installed on my watch and my phone but any time I try to login from my phone it tells me it’s not downloaded to my watch. I have the option of logging in from my watch but as typing isn’t available and I can’t choose the case of the letters for my password, that doesn’t work. I’ll sit on it for another day to see if it’ll eventually work but then it’s deleted

Lens. Such a great app, have been using it for about 8-9 months and is perfect when I can’t be on my phone! I go right to lens!!

Unable to stay logged in. The app crashes constantly and I am unable to stay logged in to make it worked. It says I have logged in...then crashes. Upon reopening, it asks to log in again.

Good app for the watch. It’s a simple app I can view Instagram on the go without pulling out my phone! I will post an update after upgrading to the pro! Works great as of now
