I’ve wasted months of my life watching ads on this app. I am painfully addicted to this game. But the three lives system is the most flawed, nonsensical thing ever. Once you play the game enough, any level below expert gets boring. And on the expert levels, the squares are microscopically small and you will constantly be fat fingering the wrong squares. 3 times and you have to watch an ad as long as a feature-length film (exaggeration but they’re way too long). It’s so so so unreasonable. I run out of lives like 7 times trying to finish one level, not because Im getting it wrong but simply because it is near impossible to always press the right square with perfect precision every time. I waste so much time watching these stupid ads. You can play the arcade version of course but then you’ll accidentally fat finger the wrong square and not even realize it, and never be able to finish the level. This ad system is so flawed and has given me anger issues. I love the game, but absolutely despise the person whose idea this was. It ruins the game. The ads that come before starting a game (and sometimes after too?!?) should be enough, this is overkill.

Okay, kinda lazy though.. The gameplay is kind of ok but after a while of doing the same thing over and over it gets kind of boring. It gets to a point where the upgrade pretty much forces you to watch an ad. The models of the people have no animation, they are t-posing when they arrive and t-posing as they slide off of the screen. I know you guys want to make money and stuff but there’s better ways of doing it. You could come up with more things to do and maybe spend a little more time to make some type of animations. This has been a trend lately, too, now whatever game designer just wants to slap together whatever mobile game throw in a bunch of ads at every turn and repeat this cycle to make a bunch of low quality games. It would help to make a higher quality game too (of course) you can make one really good game that might get you more money than a bunch of small games, since people probably won’t get bored as fast. So moral of the story, make a good game. Maybe we could bring back the good old days where every game isn’t an idle, merge, or tycoon game.

unremovable/exitable ads shouldn’t be epilepsy triggers. i really enjoy the game[EDIT: ! it’s like a logic puzzle but with numbers instead of clues. i don’t care as much about the little pictures they turn into but they can be cool little prompts to look up, like historical figures for example. i also like that you can keep getting new puzzles while on airplane mode/with no service as well! i like the little challenges that turn into bigger pictures, too. :)] [EDIT: some] banner ads will show up at the bottom while you’re playing. unfortunately, this ads are gifs and often rapidly moving gifs. i have to stop and relaunch the game several times to get around it because it triggers migraine headaches for me. i imagine it could cause seizures for other users. either these type of ads should be removed entirely, or there should be a setting to filter out flashing/looping ads that can trigger seizures and/or other neurological problems. [EDIT: i appreciate that i can send screenshots of flashing ads in the ‘Help’ page by settings and those ads get blocked moving forward. Hope this helps someone else too :)] also why is there no dark mode

App is fun and relaxing, but can we have dark mode support?. This game is surprisingly fun and is also challenging without being frustrating – it’s genuinely relaxing, really. It’s become one of my daily use apps and is a great way for me to unwind at the end of the day. Plus, the artwork you get when you solve a puzzle can be (unintentionally?) hilarious. This really is a big part of the entertainment value for me. You’ll want to take screenshots of some of this stuff, it’s that good! There are only two things that keep me from awarding it 5 stars: First, in the harder difficulty levels the square targets become so small and hard to hit that I frequently lose lives because of mis-taps, even on the iPhone Pro Max’s large screen. Second, please developer, PLEASE add dark mode support! I use classic inverted colors on my phone’s screen to approximate it and that makes a huge difference, but it’s inconvenient and introduces other quirks. This addition alone would make it a 5-star app IMO.

Love this game but wish the developers made more options to toggle. The developers also have a sudoku app where you can toggle options on/off such as "tell me when I made a mistake." I like the hard levels but I have the smaller version of the Iphone, so the grid gets VERY tiny. It's easy to accidentally put my finger on the wrong tile and then lose a life. I think there should be an option to turn off the automatic identification of mistakes. Also, an undo button or a "clear all" option would be very helpful. Or an option to "save" a game if I wanted to try a medium level and come back to my hard level puzzle at a later time. Not a necessity by any means, but it'd be cool if you could collect all the pictures you create. Maybe to make the game more interesting, the more pictures you collect, the higher rank you get. I play other logic games and one thing that keeps me coming back to those is my own personal challenge to move up to the next ranking.

Great Execution for a Simple Puzzle Game. This game caught my attention a few months back, and since then I have been playing happily pretty much every day! The general concept of the game is straightforward and easy to pick up, and the wide diversity of levels and regular events give the game a fun and challenging twist. I also love how the design of the game caters to a quick, on-the-go playstyle, while also being just as enjoyable in a more hunkered-down setting where I can easily play for long stretches of time without feeling bored. For those looking to find a fun puzzle game to waste some time, this app is definitely of the best in my eyes. However, I would definitely strongly suggest a small patch or update to include a dark-mode/night-mode for the app, that can be toggled in the game's settings. Oftentimes I can find myself playing this game at night or in bed before I go to sleep, and the apps default bright color theme gets to be a bit harsh on my eyes. If there was an option to toggle between light and dark mode, my eyes would be a lot happier while the game could still keep its classic Nonogram feel. Thanks for reading, and hopefully someone finds this review helpful!

good but annoying. with puzzle games like nonograms, i like to have some sense of completion or progress, so this game is great bc the months of daily challenges and the tournaments/events give you goals to meet—for this reason i really like this nonogram app on a less positive note—the ‘lives’ feature in this game is one of the most irritating things ever. i wish that it could be turned on or off depending on how you want to play. the squares on the screen are small and esp if you play with one hand, it’s WAY too easy to misclick and you burn through lives which forces you to watch ads. i get it if i actually make an error and i understand it adds challenge, but i wish it was a bit different tbh bc it’s pretty annoying to watch ads over and over when you are at one life and mid clicking keeps forcing you to watch ads to finish the last 3 squares of a puzzle. otherwise decent. another thing is that when it gives you a puzzle with some Xs already marked, i wish it didn’t allow you to write over them by accident. i feel like they should be locked. edit: omg thanks for pointing that out devs sorry about that misinfo—can’t wait to play 10 times faster now. i’m winning this tournament 😎

Great! Review/remove those Royal Match ads. Great game! I’m content with most ads to regain lives and such. Most run 30 seconds or less. Perfect. However there have been a high volume of ads for Royal Match that run over 1 minute (I know, I know … that’s not technically long but I’ve been clocking them in at around 1:15). The issue I have with those is that it’s basically 3-4 ads in one that cannot be skipped - along with a deceiving video timeline/scrubber at the bottom that gives the illusion of the ad being a typical 30 second ad only to add on more, well, ads! The scrubber also does not move smoothly. The video plays fine but the scrubber will stop and go with no consistency. Anyway, what I’m asking is to review these ads better. Royal Match has a … reputation. ===Update=== It appears the Royal Match ads have been adjusted accordingly - so thank you! 😊

Good but needs more features. This game is really addictive. You can play countless times not get bored. The game never ends so infinite replay ability. It’s really easy to get into and really fun. BUT the big problem is to really enjoy it you have to get the add free version. Which I recommend and is very normal for apps to do this since it is a free game. BUT it still needs more features atleast in settings option. They NEED TO ADD A DARK MODE the game is so bright even lowest brightness setting they need to do something about it to make it even more enjoyable if not it strains the eyes.. they also need to add a larger square feature even in the hardest difficulty.. the squares get way to small and you can click the wrong one and screws your whole game over… I’ve stopped playing a couple times because of this incident… I hope they add something to fix all of these minor issues besides that the game is really fun and not so frustrating :)

Nonogram Review. I am in love with this game. i have never found a game that i’ve played for this long and haven’t gotten tired of. With that being said i am scared soon i will get tired of it because it is just the same thing over and over and never getting harder. with this game not having levels i understand however i wish that the more you play in hard levels it would get harder. or create another bored bigger than a 15x15 to make the game more challenging. another thing about this game that is a concern is the fact that it DRAINS my battery. this is the one thing that i absolutely hate (lol but i do still end up playing). But i play this when i am bored or waiting on something and start with 100% battery and by the time i play a few games i have less than half of that. I’m not sure what part of the game drains it so bad because id really like for this to get fixed so i can play for a longer time. this game is truly SO much fun and continue to play besides these things i mentioned about. i really am looking forward to the improvements y’all place into the game to make it more interesting and creative. congratulations on making such an addictive and fun game!

I want to give this 5 stars but.... I’ve only started playing nonograms recently. Before this I’ve only played the sudoku and I love the events. After finding out that your nonograms also have the same events, it got me hooked! I was a bit disappointed though. Unlike the other nonogram I played, this one doesnt highlight the row/column you’re tapping on and it makes it a bit frustrating to see whether you’re tapping on the correct box. Also, I don’t like that tapping an X on the wrong box will make you lose lives and that if you completed the row the X’s don’t automatically appear. These are the only reasons I’m giving 3 stars, otherwise I would definitely give this 5 stars. I really hope you can make these changes 😁 Edit: I’ve become addicted to this game now. I look forward for the events and love watching the completed gifs. The new autocrosses feature is the best! And for that, I’m changing my review from 3 to 5 stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best Game! Here’s Why..... This game is great if you love brain puzzles. When I first got the game, I kept it at the free trial and the ads definitely had a prescience but it didn’t get to the point where I wanted to delete it because of them. Then, I noticed you could buy out of ads for $4.99. At first, I thought that was pretty high considering it’s usually $2.99, but then I realized that even when needing extra lives it prevented the ads from playing. In my opinion, that makes it worth it. The game itself is simple and is either gonna be your favorite if you love puzzles like sudoku or just not your thing. With that said, I recommend starting with the daily challenges and working backwards rather than a random game as it’s usually working towards a picture and it varies between difficulty. It’s a very easy way to get comfortable with the game. This game is staying on my phone and the first to receive 5 stars from me!

Some of the levels are terrible. Game is good when the levels aren’t garbage. I’m on level 31 right now and I can’t seem to figure out how it would be possible for me to actually complete it without just guessing and watching ads. There just isn’t enough information at all. There are no Xs already on the board and there aren’t any rows or columns that have the number 15. Also, none of the double numbers on the sides give me enough information to fill them out either. Like 7 and 7 would work because there would be one space in between them, but nothing like that is there. How do I solve this one without enough information? The hints are not even sufficient because I am lacking so much to solve this. And it isn’t just a “hard” level. I wouldn’t even call it that. There is a difference between “hard” and “you are literally just lacking the information to complete the level.” I have fun when the levels are solve-able though…

Review gone? App bad anyways. I came to update my review for a second time but apparently it is gone? Guess they can remove reviews they don’t like. So, why do I rate low? Well, one star lost for removing my review. Another star lost because of the poor response they gave to my original review where I wanted them to make a way to play better. Tired of pushing one block and ending up hitting another. Forcing a life lost and eventually having to watch ads. Their response? To play the other game mode. They lost stars for the way it plays. I love the app minus the fact that issue happens. So, I tried the other mode. I guess it’s okay minus the yet still clicking the wrong box over and over again. Just no lost lives or forced ads since you’re not told you’re wrong. My solution? I found another app just before this recent update of theirs hit. They didn’t fix my issue so it lest even another star. Now it’s down to one. It would have zero if I could do that. The other app? Two Eyes. It has a directional pad so you can navigate with it instead. Voila! Never a misclick. And with this update on this app? The toggle of filling in the boxes or putting Xs... it was a feature already they just broke it and claim it is new. It was there when I started playing and got use to it so much that I wondered where it went. Wondered why the toggle was never switching anymore causing more errors that were not my fault.

Crashes a lot. I love this game and I would readily rate it a five but it crashes a lot . It appears to be related to the ads which I don’t mind watching but I hate when it freezes trying to load an ad. Currently mine is frozen why I’m writing this review instead of playing the game. No other game I have freezes like this so it’s not my IPAD. I keep the game updated but it’s too frustrating. Update the game continues to crash or freeze. I’ve sent pictures and the solution I was given is to play off line. This works but I don’t like having to turn the internet off to play the game. I’ve sent screen shots and again it appears to be advertising related. I find it hard to believe that this can’t be fixed. I like another Easybrain game and it’s doing the same thing. No other game apps have this problem so it’s not on my part. The game would be the best but I don’t think I’ll play any more until the game is fixed.

Addicted. In the month I’ve had this game, I have played all of the available daily challenges (which go back to April 2019). I’ve fully completed the three events that have been active. These events provide consistent fresh puzzles. The two problems I have with the app are the occasional mistakenly pressed box, which occurs often of the right side of my screen. It will place a box where I did not click. This has only happened about 5 times in the entire time I’ve been playing, but i see other people have commented on it so I figure I’d mention it too. The other problem is the lack of difficulty in the “new game- hard difficulty” games. While they are 15x15, they often require minimal logic, which is different from the puzzles in the dailies and events. The only two suggestions I have are to perhaps add the ability to zoom in on one part of the board, perhaps a quadrant at a time, to ease the difficulty of accurately placing boxes. The other I have is to increase the reward for completing events. Currently, you get a picture trophy which does nothing. My solution to this, and another suggestion that I’d like to see implemented either way, is to unlock “themes” for the board. This would allow a change of sight from the normal black and white, and can add the option of something as simple as different colors or as complicated as fitting the theme of the event. Overall, this is a phenomenal app in an environment of decreasingly quality apps.

Deleted app after they removed auto crosses. Dumbest thing the developers did was to A. Give you the option in settings to use auto crosses and B. Break them from actually working. They claim that auto crosses shouldn’t be an option, but it’s still an option in the settings. Fed up with the change, and having to watch ads after 3 misses, so deleted the app. Would rate it 0 stars, if I could. The fact that the developers won’t listen to everyone complaining about this change, shows they don’t care if people download and play their app. If I have to have a 6 and 2 on a 15 square line, there’s no reason why after I complete the 6 boxes, the game can’t put a single X in the boxes on either end of that 6 like it used to do. It’s not cheating or creating an advantage in any way. Dumb, dumb, dumb! You can keep giving me the same response all you want. Won’t change my opinion of what I think of the change. If it’s now working the way it was originally developed, then why have I been playing it for A YEAR before it was changed???? Obviously it was designed one way and then someone decided it should be changed, in the dumbest way possible.

Yaaas. I absolutely love this game! At first it was boring and I hated the hard levels because I didn’t understand how to do it. But finally I am able to do the hard levels almost like they are the easiest levels. I also love the challenge of the free style where you don’t loose hearts. Ads aren’t bad and they come at the best places. I am actually addicted to this game and it is a nice problem. It also helps me concentrate and practice focusing on one task at a time. This app not only is fun but also has kind of helped me in school to focus and think before doing. I use this game as a brain brake and love it. I totally recommend this game to any one who likes a bit of a challenge. I also like the challenges that pop up every now and then and I am so excited to start the next challenge tomorrow. Also I really like how in his version, per round you get 3 hints and it keeps replenishing after you loose or start another round because it doesn’t make me feel stressed that I only have 3 hints forever and have to keep watching 3 hour ads in order to get just one ad. So in conclusion this is my favorite game and my go to game.

Great Time Waster. This app is continually updated and has so much content, it’s hard to say it’s not well worth downloading if you enjoy nonograms. But, there are two main drawbacks to the game: 1) Fat fingering. This is a constant problem if you play the standard mode. I’ve never tried Classic mode, but at least you can swap between the two. This will prevent you from getting blasted with even more ads if you fat finger your way out of lives (and there are already sooo many ads). 2) Graying out numbers too soon. I’ve noticed it actually takes me longer to solve some puzzles because you’ll be working on a column/row and the game will gray out edge values before they’re sealed off with an X. For example, consider a 5x5 grid, your row is 1 1 1. You know the row is gonna look like 1X1X1. When you put down 1X1, the game will gray out the second one in the row hint before you put the X next to it, which makes you have to backtrack and recount where you actually are in the row. The example doesn’t really help highlight the problem because it’s too simple, but for large 20x20 grids (where you’re prone to fat finger like mad), there can end up being quite a bit of backtracking. Nintendo’s Picross would only gray numbers that were “sealed” by an X, if you will, so I wish that method of updating the hints was adopted by this game too. Otherwise, neither is worth damaging the app, just some feedback! Keep up the great work!

Updated Review: Nasty design to trick you into watching ads. I gave this game a chance and at first was frustrated by the “lives” system and how accidentally tapping a fraction of a millimeter from from the intended target or meant. Also the numbers at the top and side that tell you important clues are very hard to see because of their color and lack of contrast. Whoops that was actually a 7 not a 1 giving you a clue. Whoops accidentally brushed your finger on the wrong area of the screen. Well that’s two lives and good luck getting through a big puzzle without making another mistake. Then you can quit the game or watch an ad that often will freeze the app and discard your progress The designers have apparently realized it’s a universal thing that tapping precisely and seeing small things clearly on a phone is difficult and they found a way to make a lot of ad revenue money by punishing their users’ “mistakes” that are a result of design decisions. Other puzzle games like this have ads and actually reward you for watching them. I don’t recommend this game unless you have a high tolerance for frustration or love watching ads and don’t care that fun for the player was not a priority in its design

My new favorite mobile game. I briefly found out about this kind of game from a small brain teaser type book and I decided to look up a app to keep playing. This game has been a lot of fun and I find on the harder levels I’ll make progress in short bursts while if I have 5 min of free time. Feedback: this game really needs a zoom feature. Hard is really the limit for an iPhone XR. Expert can be a little tricky because I find myself misclicking 50% of the time. Maybe a toggle button that allows for planning and zoom. In the future I want a smaller phone so at that point I think I wouldn’t be able to click anywhere I want at all. Also I got 100 levels in and I never saw the expert levels. After about 50 levels I wanted mostly hard levels. I had to look up where to look for the setting to manually select the expert levels. I also think it would be nice if you could pick what kind of pictures you solve. Like “world” or “animals”

Would be even better with improvements. Great game overall, and it’s extremely addicting. My biggest issue I have is that it really takes a toll on my battery and the app by far consumes the most energy out of any app on my phone. I really hope in the next update that the app is better optimized to consume less energy. Additional feedback I have is that, given that there are no levels to progress in, I wish that I could get a new board on the same difficulty if I don’t like the board that is generated. Currently if I am in the middle of a game on Hard, for example, and I click new game, it gives the same board as I currently was playing, just cleared. There’s no way to go to the “next” board. Lastly, I wish I could see the final product after I won a game in black and white a little longer before it colorizes so I can “guess” what I just made/see the full picture. Other options that might be cool are to be able to toggle the color image on/off by holding down/releasing the screen to go back and forth between the black and white and color completed puzzle. Additionally it might be cool to have a gallery/collection of all my completed puzzles that you can access from the main menu to see all the different pictures you’ve made. Thanks for a great game!

Account Transfer?. I definitely didn’t expect this to become one of my favorite mobile games. I initially downloaded it with the idea of killing some time one day and then probably uninstalling it the next. I didn’t have high hopes. And yet, here I am! I’ve completed every daily challenge, am actively involved in events, and play almost every day. If I have a few minutes of down time, an Easy or Medium level is perfect! If I’ve got longer, I’ll tackle a Hard one. I’ve encountered some Hard levels that I could not solve without using some hints or simply guessing, but those sorts of levels are very few and far between. In my opinion, they don’t take away from the overall experience. I don’t think I’ll be able to play Expert levels on my phone because the screen is too small, the blocks are too tiny, and my fingers are too big—I mean, I misclick in the Hard levels pretty often, so I can’t even imagine how difficult Expert levels would be (maybe include a zoom function..?). And that brings me to the crux of my comment. If I were to get a tablet or iPad and I downloaded this game in my new device, I believe that I’d have to start all over. All my medals, collections, and awards would be wiped because the system would think I’m a new player... right? Is there any way y’all know of where I could share my game data from one device to another? I’d hate to start all over just because my phone broke or because I wanted to play on a different device.

Awesome games! Negative reviews are wrong!. First I just want to mention how amazing this game is: it’s challenging, fun, and entertaining! Now, I want to say that I closely read the reviews before getting this game and the main problems I saw were 1) long unskippable ads and 2) the auto crosses. 1) unskippable ads. I have played this game for over a week now and I’ve found that all the pop up ads (not ads that I watched in order to give me more lives or hints) were indeed all skippable in the first five seconds or so, as the developers told the reviewers they would be. The ads are frequent, but I understand the devs need to make money so they can keep making awesome games. I haven’t found any ads in the middle of puzzles, so I see no problem with all of the ads. They’re skippable, so what’s the problem? 2) auto crosses. I’m a new player and I never got to experience the old auto crosses, but I see no problem with the new ones. It makes the puzzles more challenging and it seems like cheating to me if the crosses pop up after almost every block you place. I understand and agree with why the devs don’t want to change this. Overall awesome game and I have no complaints! Thank you for making such a solid game! In fact, the reason I purchased this game instead of other nonogram games is because I also love Blockudoku (made by the same devs) and I know it’s a solid game. Your reputation goes a long way, thank you for making it positive and reliable!

A Great App in Need of Some Improvement(s). I love this game, but have noticed that it crashes multiple times upon starting new puzzles. The screen will freeze after about 30 seconds to 1 minute of play time until the app closes itself, hence causing all progress made between crashes to be lost. Although this is pretty frustrating — especially since an update to the app containing supposed performance improvements and bug fixes was made 5 days ago — I enjoy the app very much and would definitely recommend it to fellow puzzle lovers. Features to be added may include different color modes (a dark mode specifically); this customization option is available in the developer’s Sudoku app and I enjoy it very much. In addition, optional cursor controls would not only be nice for mobile users but could also allow for larger, more challenging puzzles. An optional “level” mode where puzzles could gradually increase in difficulty and be individually replayed could potentially be an interesting addition as well.

Really good, 3 minor suggestions. First off this app is straight to the point: just open the app and play any level you can imagine! It’s fun and relaxing and a nice way to pass time. Two suggestions though: 1. The ability to view the name of completed daily challenge levels. I can’t stress enough how many times I’ve been forced to replay a daily challenge just because I was curious on what name it had! This is a very simple quality of life change that would make the game miles better! 2. The ability to view the uncolored, black and white version of a level after it’s completed. What’s the point in doing a whole level only for it to color itself? I would love to see the black and white outline of the level to see all the hard work I’ve done! 3. Challenge puzzles being added to your collection. I need this! A badge for completing a challenge and a couple hints is great, but I want to see the individual work I put into it, and see all the puzzles that I had to pass to view the full picture! That’s all, thanks!

Nice game. There are pros and cons to this game. The pros are that the commercials are short, you get three hints to start out with, and it is a great logic game to stimulate your mind. The bad things about it are that when the game is hard and crowded it is difficult to touch the right squares. There is no way to enlarge it. The numbers all look alike. Another con is that when you have finished a section of the line, that part of it goes gray and it’s impossible to see it. I wish they would just leave all the numbers black so that we could see where we have been and where we’re going instead of making the numbers we finished disappear so we can’t figure out what they are. I would also suggest there be a feature on here that enlarges certain sections so that we could see what we’re doing and not have to color in the wrong square because our fingers are too big. Enlargement would also help to be able to see some of the numbers, especially when they are very small. Sixes look like fives and eight looks like fives. Twos look like threes because they are so very small. And when they turn gray, you can hardly see them at all.

Awesome Puzzles! Few things:. I was looking for a nice puzzle game to play and this one caught my eye. I tried this game and I fell in love in an instant! This game is addicting, fun, and challenging! One of my favorite puzzle games of all time. Just a few suggestions: Sometimes the hard mode isn’t very challenging once you get the hang of the whole game. Maybe add an Extreme mode with a board more than 15x15. I’d love a challenge. Also, can you PLEASE let me play more than one game at a time. If I want to start a new game and save the one I was playing, it will just delete the puzzle and all my progress, and it can be a bit annoying at times. There is also one problem that I feel a lot of people are probably experiencing, the board being too small for their fingers. I haven’t really dealt with that problem because of my tiny hands, but I know a lot of people who have. Other than that, everything else about this app is just amazingly addictive. Thank you for making such a wonderful game. ☺️

Great game, but needs some improvement. Update: I paid for the game so that I don’t have to wait for more lives, but recently there have been changes, and now there are long ads to get more lives. There are also super long ads between games. This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid for unlimited lives, without adds. I guess this is it for me with this game. It’s a shame, because I enjoyed it. I love the game concept, and it can be a bit addictive. I like the design of this app, it’s clean and easy to use. What frustrates me terribly is that you can’t choose to start an entirely new game. If I lose a life, I prefer to restart a new game, it just doesn’t feel challenging enough if I continue after making a mistake. In this app though, if you click to start a new game, it gives you the same game that you didn’t finish. If I already know the answers to a good bit of it, what’s the fun in that? It’s just a boring waste of time to repeat a game. I’d also love it if there was an option for a timer. I love speed challenges and knowing how long it took me to complete a puzzle would be great. Of course, harder puzzles would be a nice bonus as well. I really hope the developers upgrade this app a bit, because I really do enjoy it.

Fun app and developers listen!. My son introduced me to the game and I’ve been hooked ever since. If you understand how to do it, most levels can be done without hints. The tournaments are fun (I don’t care about stars!) to see how many of the pics I can add to my collection. I use it mostly as a “winding down” game in the evening and play it daily. I’m super glad I came to check for a new update…the game was lagging since the update from a week ago. But I knew the developers listen to this feedback, so wondered if it had been reported. It had…and it’s clear the developers want to make a better game! The newest update worked and fixed the laggy bug! Having an app where the developers care is the main reason I’ve stuck with this particular app…regardless of ads. (Every game has ads anymore…and these are less annoying than some of the other games I play.) Thanks for the great game!!

Ads are unbearable, but ultimately a fun and addicting game. Really loving this game. I ended up purchasing the no ads option, because I’d say it’s pretty much unplayable with ads. There are a lot of mistakes that are made because of “fat finger” syndrome but honestly I don’t have fat fingers— on the harder levels with much smaller squares it’s absolutely impossible not to make a few oopsies— which makes the small heart pool especially unforgiving (but not in a fun way). You are met with an ad not only on failures, but also when starting up a new game, and just about at every screen change. Readability at the hard level is also a huge issue, which is a bummer since those puzzles are incredibly rewarding to solve. I understand the need to make money as a mobile game, but maybe there is a compromise by having a larger heart pool, or only having ads when requesting hints and failure states. I hate that my “reward” for finishing a puzzle is… an ad. My other design critique is how often I forget to switch the X to Square mode. This is a personal fault as well and I’m not sure of the solution, I just often forget since I’m looking at the grid and get excited and don’t check which mode I’m in, leading to annoying mistakes. Maybe some sort of color indicator around the rim of the grid might help? Or just somewhere more in my eye-line. A dark mode would also be super appreciated.

Absolutely Addicted, however…. Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this game. I am over level 3000 and would play it almost daily. I just can’t stop. Unfortunately with all good things come bad things. I’ve been having the problem of the game constantly crashing, and I mean CONSTANTLY. Sometimes if I’m lucky I can go through a few levels with no problems but then it goes down hill. It can get as bad as crashing multiple times in a single level. The game also heats up my phone as if it was on fire. You could cook eggs on the back of my phone while I play this. And with the overheating and constant crashing, it drains my battery. I’ve never seen my battery ever go down as fast as it has while I play this game. Even with those three pretty big problems, I still can’t stop playing it though. And the problems didn’t exist when I first started playing and I don’t think it’s my phone because my phone is rather new. I would give 5 stars but the problems that I stated are just so annoying and significant that I can’t give higher than 3 stars right now. If I wasn’t as high of a level and didn’t love it so much I would’ve deleted it ages ago.

Ruined by ads. About 2 years ago this used to probably be my most played game. I just recently got it again on my new phone and I continue to love it. However, there appears to be a lot more ads than when I used to play. There seems to be an ad after every 2 levels. I think you guys overestimate how long it takes some people to finish a level. With the time it takes for me to finish levels, I am essentially interacting with ads more than I am interacting with the actual game and it is become very frustrating after only having the game for one day. I honestly don’t know how much longer I can go on and I am already contemplating deleting the game. This is very sad because this is one of my favorite games of all time but it is just ruined by ads now. Maybe i bought no ads before, which if thats the case is there a way I can confirm that and get that feature back. One of my daily challenges today is to play 100 levels, which would be x amount of time and like 3x amount of add time which is ridiculous.

Fix a change that was made?. Hello, this one’s for the devs. This game is wonderful, it’s very calming and helps put my significant other to sleep each night, when she usually has trouble doing so. But a recent change was made to the game, where if you finished a row/column, it doesn’t automatically “x” the rest of the spots anymore. It was a big part of what made the game so nice, even if it’s a small difference. Would you please put it back? It’d mean a lot, we really miss that ease of life mechanic. It was relaxing, and helps her sleep. Thank you, we hope to see that mechanic back in the game soon :) thank you for making a calming game for before bedtime. Edit: I realize the mechanic I was talking about was called the “auto crosses feature.” I am aware that it was under testing, and that you made the decision to remove it, but if you could make it an optional setting, that’d be incredibly wonderful. Even if it is buggy, we’d understand, we’d just like it back. Edit#2: I put in several requests on all of the available platforms that I’ve found asking the developers and team involved with this game to add what I’ve mentioned above about 4 months ago and I’ve received pretty generic responses that felt like automated messages, and no update adding the feature. Please add the feature, I feel it’s not such a difficult thing to do, especially with the amount of time it’s been.

Un Mutable Ads. I absolutely love this game. But I felt like I had to write this: I understand the need for ads and I stand them because of that. But, ads with sound? That’s a nono for me. Every time I finish a game I get this annoying ads from Solitaire Cube or similar which have a girl screaming for five whole seconds and, bare with me here, it’s IMPOSSIBLE TO MUTE. I’ve tried turning down the volume, putting the phone on silent mode, nothing works; these ads don’t even have the little speaker icon where you turn the sound off. So, every time I’m playing at night and this ad comes up, I wake up my husband; I no longer play in public places as not to disturb people around me with the screams; it’s even annoying when I’m listening to a voice note and playing and it literally pauses my voice note so that I can hear the ad girl screaming. Every single time the screaming starts, I automatically close the game and stop playing it for the rest of the day. Just know that you’re loosing an avid player here just because of your lousy ad selection.

Love it!!. I downloaded this game thinking it would either be boring, or too difficult. I was proven wrong immediately. While it starts you off fairly easy, it gradually progresses and now I can complete most hard levels with ease or little challenge. I haven’t gotten to the expert levels yet, but I am very excited. I only have one suggestion for the app. There used to be a feature where, for example, if there was a 10 row on a level, then a single going down from it, it would automatically add an X to make the game easier. This was what made the game a little more of a breeze for me. It appears this feature was removed, even when going to settings. I just wanted to suggest adding back that feature as an option in the settings. But other than that personal preference. This game is a perfect 10/10 for me!! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a great time waster with great rewards and events. Keep up the amazing work!

V5.2.0 Performance Issues. Currently playing the game on version 5.2.0 its been a while since I updated the game so I don't know what the previous version i used was. I noticed some performance issues in this version. I noticed that it became more common to misplace a tile, and when dragging a line of tiles, the first tile became much easier to misplace. It also seems to “lag” when placing tiles, like it takes half a second for a tile to be placed after I tap the screen, which makes the game feel slow and laggy. I believe this happens when I’m halfway through a puzzle, it starts to become laggy. The undo button seems to also lag a bit, sometimes it feels like I have to firmly tap on it for it to work. Personal preferences: I don’t know in which update this was done, but when auto crossing a line it became much much faster than before. I personally feel like it makes the game “sluggish” and not as satisfyingly smooth as before. Same thing with the numbers being greyed out, before they used to fade out, but now they instantly turn grey. Both these changes makes the game feel faster but not as calming as before. An option to adjust the speed would be nice. An option to turn off tournament stars would also be nice, they’re sometimes distracting, so I always remove them before solving a puzzle. I Hope the developers would consider some of these points. Thanks.

Crashes. I love every single thing about this app. And I mean EVERYTHING. It’s simple, and puzzles are fun to solve, nothing overwhelming and constantly popping up. Just a simple collection of nonograms to solve. However. The app drains my battery ridiculously fast, which never happens unless I’m playing this app. I can go from 90% to 10% in 20 minutes, whereas my battery typically will last me all day long with frequent use. And my phone gets HOT while playing. I could work around both of those issues, if it weren’t for the app crashing. It was fine for a while after I downloaded it. But it hasn’t even been 24 hours since I downloaded and starting using it, and it’s so bad that the app will crash after 30 seconds of having it open, and then will not power back up unless I leave it alone for a few hours. I am really disappointed because I would easily rate this 5 stars and even buy the paid version. But the app crashes so much I can’t even use it anymore after less than a day. Though if the issue is fixed I will absolutely be happy to change my rating and look into paying for the app again!

Good, but a few issues. I got this game a while ago and I still love to play it. You use logic to complete puzzles and can play events and have tournaments. However, sometimes when you press a square a different square gets colored in or is marked as wrong even though you meant to press a different square. This has happened to both me and my friends many times. I don’t know if there’s any way to make the squares bigger and have it still fit the screen, but this is a problem in the game that I have noticed. Also, there are a lot of ads. When you open the game, when you click on a level, when you exit a level, when you pass a level, there are ads. I haven’t found them to be terribly inconvenient, as I can usually just close and reopen the game when I get one, and I am glad there are no ads during the actual levels, but there are still so many ads. Overall, it’s a good game and you should get it, but keep in mind these issues.

Lots of inconvenient things within the app!. I love these puzzles don’t get me wrong. But the ads are beyond annoying. Not that I have to watch them I understand a free app is gonna have ads but it’s insane the number required to watch and if you step away in the middle of a game or get a call during an ad it’s gonna wipe your board clean. Also constant mistaps on the game board no matter how careful you’re being it’s constantly acting like I’m filling squares in 1-3 tiles away from where I’m even trying to enter my answers. Which again makes me have to watch MORE ads. And a lot of the ads don’t work right so they sit on a blank screen which makes you have to watch more ads and usually the broke ad comes back multiple times in a row and mind you not finishing the ad wipes your board so when the broken ads come up it really takes the fun out of the game. Lastly and MOST annoying of all. The hints randomly get activated with out being selected and then you blow through them all without noticing. It’s a giant scam. I want these things to be fixed because I’m a daily player for over a year. It’s SO annoying.

excellent game, awful ads.. I came to the review section to see if paying a whopping $5 would get rid of the insane amount of ads I end up having to watch after 3 misclicks, and my question has not yet been answered. But it seems everyone has the same gripe that I do, and the developer’s only response is that you can skip the ads after 5 seconds on the ads between levels. But that’s not the issue! It’s the ads we’re forced into watching every time we misclick or make a mistake and have to gain another life! I don’t mind sitting through an ad or two between levels but I’ve probably paid someone’s entire salary with the amount of ads I’ve had to watch to gain another life mid-level. And developer, please refrain from “reminding” me about the other game mode, I know it exists. I prefer the mode I’m in. There’s no excuse for the excessive and long ads, and it’s disheartening to see the same response on everyone’s review. I’d hope the high price point would remove ads entirely, I saw a review that made it not seem to be the case though. I’ll hold out for now and try to find another puzzle to pass my time.

Favorite App!!!! But.... I love this app it’s my favorite. I’ve never played a game for this long and everyday! The only thing is, I wish there was a way to restart the game in the menu screen. I love to play classic mode because I feel like it’s more challenging, but whenever I’m mid game and I noticed I messed up, I have to fill in random squares and then restart as normal mode and then go to settings and switch back to classic. I feel like that’s too much. If y’all can’t do that it’ll make the experience more awesome! Also, please add Dark mode because I play this game mostly before I go to sleep. Not just that but throughout the day I feel like it kills my battery because everything is so lit up. Maybe give us the option to unlock different skins for the tiles, THAT WOULD BE GREAT! Also, a level count. That’ll also be great. Anyways, BEST APP EVER!!! I’ve tried other Nonogram apps but none compare to this one. This is the best Nonograms app.

Um okay?!. I am a huge believer in games like these especially when I’ve got a lot of time to kill. However when it comes to this particular app it is lacking in some aspects. For example the puzzle is way to small. Even if you don’t have huge fingers it is so easy to get the wrong line filled. That problem could be easily fixed like making the puzzle bigger. Also the difficulty level is not what you think. The easy and medium levels are more like easy and really that only took me 5 seconds to finish it easy. Heck even the hard level (which usually takes me an entire episode of Hell’s Kitchen to finish) is so easy that a child can figure this out. But here lies my major problem and why I’m giving it 3 stars. Every time I go to start a new game it freezes. Even when I’m typing this I’m waiting it to get done (thank god for iPads). Then if you close out you have to start all over. So please developers could you please make the levels a little more challenging and fix the nasty freezing bug? Ooh it’s finally done oh wait it crashed never mind

Nonogram frustration. Almost two years ago I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and underwent brain surgery. Subsequent complications from the first surgery resulted in a second surgery and a long recovery. The nonogram "game" is much like others that I have played in order to help stimulate my brain throughout my recovery. Because of this brain stimulation, I try not to use the word "game." To me this implies that I am "playing" when in fact I am using nonogram as an "exercise" to aid my recovery. However, instead of experiencing brain restoration, nonogram is brain torment! This is because of poor "game" design. The squares on the grid are so small that frequent mistakes are unintentionally made -- not because the wrong boxes are chosen, but instead because an average adult's fingers are often too large to make the intended selections. Also, as the nonogram is currently designed, one cannot make changes as filling the grid progresses, and the first selection that one makes is "locked" into place. This makes completing the grids so frustrating that I feel more relieved by not completing any nonogram grid in the first place. I'll find a much more user friendly app and use it instead.

Great game!. I was looking for a game similar to Picross and stumbled across this, and it really satisfied that itch of mine. It’s very fun to blast through the puzzles because it hits that sweet spot off being easy enough to solve while still being challenging enough to make you stop and think. I do however have one minor complaint. I appreciate that the daily challenges adapt to the amount of time you spend on the app/the amount of puzzles you solve, but it gets a bit much when the daily challenges require you to solve 100 puzzles. Although I don’t need motivation to play the game, I nevertheless found that I was much more motivated to click on the app and spend more time when the challenges were 30 or even 50 puzzles a day. Now that the daily challenges are 80 or 100, I find that I only really spend a few minutes at most to solve the daily puzzle and then some events before stopping. Anyway, this is more of a nitpick than anything, but my long winded feedback is that I hope you’d consider dropping the requirements for daily challenges to one that can be accomplished in less than 30 or 60 minutes as opposed to a daily marathon of 100 puzzles.

Engrossing, but hard to play on smaller devices. This game is great, and I’ve developed quite an addiction to it. You use logic, process of elimination, and the occasional hint to determine which blocks should be colored in. It does have ads, but they aren’t excessive and you can watch one to get extra lives, which is perfect for me; no coins or gems to worry about. It is difficult to play the expert levels on my phone (iPhone 6SE), because the blocks are much smaller; I’d say 9 out of 10 of my wrong moves come from not quite hitting the right square. It would definitely be worthwhile on a tablet (and this game is actually pushing me to buy one). That’s not really the developer’s fault though, but something you may wish to consider. If I were to offer the developer any feedback, I would like to see the numbers stand out more in the vertical column. Sometimes you may mistake ‘1 1’ for the number eleven when it’s just two ones. I realize space plays a part in how much spacing is available, but maybe alternating colors? Hyphens? Anyhow, I truly love playing this, and if you enjoy using logic and don’t need a lot of eye candy or cartoon-y mascots then you will get a lot of miles out of this app.

Newest Update Makes it Less Enjoyable. I’ve been obsessively using this app for over 2 years now(I’m about to hit level 12,000 and have done all the daily levels and events/tournaments/adventures) and it’s easily the greatest game I’ve ever played, but this last update made it less enjoyable and effortless for me. I have a much harder time sliding across the rows and often have to tap them one by one, I’m not entirely sure why that’s happened but it’s definitely made the game less satisfying in my opinion. I’m also not a huge fan of the way the numbers now change from the dark blue to gray. If I remember correctly they used to fade and now they immediately just flip, which I personally find a bit stark and almost distracting. I think a lot of this is mostly my personal preference but I still wanted to share my thoughts. Overall it’s still my favourite game ever and I will always love it!

Simple but elegant. By far the best nonogram app on the store. It’s definitely worth paying the couple of dollars for an ad-free experience. I love the game so much that I went back and played every single ‘daily’ puzzle (April 2019 was the start, I think?) and I love all of the tournament and special events. My only TINY complaint is that I miss seeing my ‘name’ (the random animal) on the leaderboard… now it only says ‘me’ and I can’t see what name was assigned to me. But that’s a minor gripe. I love this game and play it to pass time and distract myself daily. I hope you will continue to add new tournaments and challenges! Edit: Thank you for replying! I’m glad to see the devs are active! And yes, I do understand that everyone sees themselves as ‘me’ on their own leaderboard. I just miss being able to also see what ‘my’ name actually is on the board (I think it was ‘Glamorous Linnet’ or something like that). It was a nice touch seeing what animal I randomly had. But again, no big deal. The game is great. And since the devs are reading, I will add my support for a dark mode! Thanks again!! :)

Fabulous game, just automatically mute the adds and it’s perfect!. This is an absolutely fantastic game. Great logic puzzles of varying difficulty. You can play challenges (which actually reward you with hints) or stick to level by level play. The adds are generally short or can be skipped after 5 seconds. And if you’re really struggling on a level, there are unlimited “get more lives” available by watching ads. My only complaint is that you have to manually mute the ads when they come on. Since I listen to music while playing, this gets a little irritating. Developers, if you can set it up so they’re automatically muted (like you do in your version of Killer Sudoku) then this will be a 5 star and perfect game! Update Jan ‘22 Still not auto-muted ads if you have music playing. Loving the new daily goals though! It’s fun to work to a secret level. My one complaint with it, is ‘lives to spend’ and ‘hints’ should not be goals. If I have to use a hint, or use a life while solving the puzzle, I’ve made a mistake…not achieved a goal.

Amazing Way to Pass Time, One Problem-ish. First of all, I absolutely love this game. I first got it about two years ago and did not understand it at all. When I came back to it about two months ago on a long bus ride I actually figured it out and I was really good at it. So in the span of less than three weeks I finished all the daily levels. ALL of them. I am addicted. Anyways I only have one minor gripe with this game, and it’s that it burns my retinas when I’m not in a room with decent lighting. I know that this game is consistently updated and I wouldn’t bother saying anything if I didn’t think it would change anything, but could you guys add a dark mode? I haven’t found any setting for it anywhere but I might just be blind so if I just missed it whoops. TLDR, freaking love this game, wish it had a dark mode. Edit: I’m very glad to hear that, and I look forward to not being blinded at night lol. And don’t worry I definitely won’t stop playing anytime soon.

This simple game... lacks dark mode??. I love the fact that you have a large amount of levels playable even when you are offline... and the daily challenges and events are really good. And the UI makes up the opportunity to keep playing. It even helped me how to solve bigger puzzles. But, the biggest flaw is this being a minimalist game lacking the simplest feature: dark mode?? Well, please add it. If I'm playing in a dark room then the glare from light mode is pretty annoying. Well, this is the simplest feature, please add it, listen and add dark mode support for this game. Next, is UI. They look somewhat different from the native system UI. Thirdly, the ability for the game to be playable in landscape mode would also be helpful. Also, I also want the ability to search for pictures in My Collection because it may be hard to find the picture I want. And when you complete a picture in events it only appears once and it doesn't get added to the collection (it should get added to the collection). Finally, why is this game 12+ for no reason? Please, do these and listen to people's reviews. Thank you.

Great and highly satisfying.. This is the game that I play most often and I absolutely LOVE IT!! I especially love doing the secret levels and find it satisfying when I figure out what the picture is. My only suggestion would be to have a zoom in button because I keep accidentally pressing the wrong square. Thanks 😁😁.

Love it but.... I think it’s extremely unrealistic to solve the event puzzles in just two weeks. I think it needs to be for the monthly to give everyone a chance to be able to finish the even. Also I think it would be good to be able to zoom in for hard and expert levels. Too hard to hit the right box when they’re so small! Otherwise the game is extremely addictive and I love it.

Ruined by advertising. I used to love playing this game, so relaxing! I accepted the ads because I understand everyone has to earn a living. But the advertising policy has changed and if you play the hard level, you spend more time watching ads than you get to play. It’s gone from great to just totally annoying and I suspect I am going to delete it soon as the amount of advertising makes it unplayable. If the ads were short, I wouldn’t mind, but I have to sit through 30 seconds and more, repeatedly, to finish a grid... No pleasure there, just torture and annoyance. Please fix your ads if you want us to play this otherwise wonderful app

Love this game - needs dark mode. Great game! Love this and love the challenges and competitions that occur every now and again. The suggestion I have :which I am also desperate for!) is dark mode! I am having to use another app that has the same game structure, but offers dark mode. It is just too much for my eyes when I wake up in the morning to play it

i only wish you could reset the board. this app has near PERFECT gameplay and i’m sooo happy i found it. i was getting so sick of picross requiring points and purchases, but this is just like their sudoku app where you can play and play and play. the auto-x feature is so convenient, the haptics are really satisfying, and the interface is easy to use. my only wish is to have a “start over” button for when i realise ive messed up somewhere and want to start from scratch, without having to manually wipe the grid.

Old but gold. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 years now, I’ve always loved how I think when I play it. Now that some features were added, it all of the sudden started glitching. If adding the tournament and events actually makes it glitch, I’d rather bring the old one with no tournaments and stars just so it won’t glitch anymore! It’s ridiculous, i have to restart the app like 5 times and bear through with it to solve a puzzle. I’ve noticed this only occurs in the expert levels, so please fix the glitch of my beloved game!

J. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the ads have become extremely annoying. I’m sick of having to watch 2-3 or sometimes 4 ads just to get an extra life. I’m going to be looking for another nanogram game to play. I’ve found one that looks interesting that a friend has said to give a try.. At this stage with the ads I can’t really recommend this game at the moment.

Ads!. You’ll be able to copy and paste your standard response again here. Yes. I know you rely on ads for your revenue. What annoys me, and I guess most of the other people complaining about ads, is things like 2 consecutive ads. You get one when you finish a level, you’re taken back to the home page and then you get a second ad before the next level. Unnecessary. In addition some of the ads you’re accepting are doing very good jobs of hiding the X, making it hard to skip them after 5 seconds. So that’s annoying. Finally (for now): are you running any sort of quality control on the ads you accept? There’s the tetris-like game which claims to be “realxing”. There’s the AI game that changes screen so often that I’d be concerned for anyone with photo-sensitive epilepsy and there’s that awful Scapes game which seems to delight in tormenting its female characters. Given that the ad companies are paying you to be shown on your platform, I’d expect you to have a bit more pride in what goes out under your name.

One Question… ( If willing to download pls read). I absolutely adore this game and it is probably my most played game, but I have one question, in the tournament leaderboard, my name is just, Me, and I really wanna change it but dont know how, I have searched up on the internet but I still cant find anything, so please answer this review so I can be super happy with tthis game! I really like this game because it is designed for anyone who is willing to test thier brain power and not get bored! This game is perfect to play on the bus, at home, in long lines, in intermission of halftime at concerts or games, I love this game and the sounds that it makes when you tap on one of the boxes and get it correct! overall, I love this game and I give it 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good game. This game is a really great game. It has a lot of challenges (in the hard option only), but there could be some improvements like making a zoom in feature as when you’re playing the hard option the squares get small. But I am frustrated that there was a Christmas special and I got really excited for but after a day of playing it, it just vanished like it never existed. Please help or put it back.

You know what. Just like the title says “ you know what” there are a couple problems i have with this here game. Well firstly the hints. I earned 24 hint doing a special level but then when i got on the game today there were only 18. Its outraging because i was saving them for a super hard level. Secondly the levels. You should give us some better chances of beating them. Do you know how hard it is? It takes me so many lives just to complete one level. And it’s annoying watching all those ads to play on. It would be much better if you would give us some coins to spend on hints and lives instead of watching ads. Third problem is fat fingers. That is one of the reasons i lose so many lives. When i go to press one square that i know is right I accidentally hit another square. But sometimes it’s good when lucks On my side. Other than those problems i have noticed the game is really good and addicting. But sadly i only give you 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️ love the game byeeeeeee 👋👋😀😃😅😄😆😝😍🤪🤨🥳🥰😊🤣😋😛

Absolutely ❤️ this game but only with special events. This game is amazing and super fun to play but only when there are special events on. It’s good because there is general events on but for the few days when there isn’t I don’t really play this game, so it would be perfect if there were constant challenges. Apart from this I wouldn’t change anything else in the game. I generally go through phases with games but I’ve been playing for ages and I still love it!

Love this game but……. I’ve been playing this for the last few years, but a recent update has brought in a frustrating feature. If I tap on Daily Challenges at the bottom of the screen, it takes me back to the last month that I didn’t complete, which in my case is November 2019. This means to see the current month I need to tap through 3 years worth of months and I’m getting very tired of having to do that.

my favourite game. i’ve had this game on my phone longer than any other. i play it before i go to sleep; it’s relaxing, makes you think, and the sounds and tiny vibrations are really soothing. the events are fun, they add a little more interest into the game, with their time limits etc. i do have a piece of advice for those who want to try expert — USE A STYLUSSSS!!! it has saved my life :)) you can get them from every mobile accessory/screen fixer store for usually around $5AUD 🤍

So slow it’s unusable. I can’t understand why this app is so slow on an iPad. The iPhone version is fast but unusable because of “fat fingers” and too small tiles. I think the in app advertisements slow it down but it has the effect of not wanting to upgrade in case I’m wrong. My wife has stopped using this as it frustrates her too much.

Don’t know how to use hints. Amazing, so great to do while watching something and it always gets your head stuck in. Also I love how the developers actually reply to reviews, taking in constructive feedback. The only, 1 problem I have is that I don’t know how to use hints. I’ve tapped on the button, tried dragging it to the screen, etc. but I can’t seem to find how it works. Other than that, 10/10. Thanks for the amazing game, i appreciate it

Best app ever. I love this app with a passion. There is now a feature that will auto fill the line with x’s once you’ve found all of the coloured boxes. I love that you can turn this feature off in settings if you want to challenge yourself more. Thanks for giving us the choice.

Where is the Dark Mode. The game is good however it’s missing a few vital settings. 1. The game needs a dark mode*. Sometimes the white colour scheme is so bright at night and I would and many others would like a dark colour scheme which is easier on the eyes. 2. Implement an option to zoom in on puzzles. It’s near impossible to solve an expert level puzzle on a small phone screen. The squares are too small to accurately finger tap. Implement a zoom option to allow for accurate tile placement. That’s all that’s missing from making this a complete app. I hope you implement these two options it will significantly improve quality of gameplay for the entire user base . Thank you 👍

Great game. Love this game! It’s very easy to use and get the hang of. Definitely keeps me busy. But I wish the ‘events’ wouldn’t expire. Having 8 days or so to complete hundreds of puzzles is near impossible. I understand them not starting new events all the time but they shouldn’t disappear you should be able to play them all the time.

YOU MAKE MISTAKES - YOU PAY!. Yet another app that demands a review before you’ve had a chance to get a measure of it. Please I don’t even know you yet and you want my commitment?! My biggest problem is you get three ‘lives’ then you have to listen to a 30sec ad or restart. You lose a life if you touch the wrong tiny square or have the x switch on instead of the block after only 3 tries! I don’t like this sort of manipulation to ‘earn’ or buy more hints with my time when I was not using a hint just forgot what mode I was using and was not expecting to be penalised! If you have memory issues or an unsteady hand or want to relax and be happy to make mistakes then don’t bother with this as it will only bore and frustrate you. It’s only a 15x15 grid at hardest as far as I can see. The pictures are unsophisticated. Too many ads. I’d rather straight out pay for a game rather than pay for in app things I’m conned into. So forget it. I’m off to find a better hanjie app.

Sexist. Non-inclusive.. I love this game but quite frankly sick of the outdated mentality of how a woman, man and family are represented. Firstly, playing the Mother’s Day challenge, the only image of a woman so far, is of a woman on the edge of a couch leaning into her man who sits in the centre and does not need to lean into anyone. All puzzles for “Mother’s Day” relate to children only. I hope we see the same for Father’s Day and not “handymen” and “cars” and “fishing”. In this game, people are always depicted as non-POC. A person is always a white man first, and families are always dad, mum (whoa she should be lucky she was even included!), one boy and one girl. Stop incorrectly associating women with soft pastels, cooking and being only the bearer of children and second to men. And stop associating a person as only ever being a white man. This is 2020. Catch up.

Best Nonogram App Out There!. I have tried a few of these and this is the only one that wasn’t deleted within hours. The ads don’t bother me here because I’m not forced to watch them to get lives or tokens to keep playing. An ad between levels that I can skip after a few seconds is a small price to pay for unlimited play time. In fact this one could be the poster child for how to monetise apps. Well done devs, love this app!

Good game but plays music on silent. I’m really enjoying this game but when I go to play it late at night or in the morning when my partner is still asleep, the music from the ads plays even though my phone is on silent! I believe this is a setting that app developers can choose to activate or not, and I think you guys need to consider honouring the silent switch in this case.

Nonograms ... the most popular one by ratings!. The line six from the left going down does not register my choices. I have tried deleting and re- installing a few times but still get the same fault. It is in the the most difficult setting because I have played a lot of games. I have paid a premium $8.99 so I don’t have to watch adds so I would like this fixed please.. If I can use this premium on another Similar game I would download it instead.

Great game. This game is by far my favourite logic game. My only problem with it is that there is no way to cross out of the Kewpie ad. Whenever I get it I have to double click the home button and swipe up on the game then go back to whichever puzzle I was on. However, this doesn’t stop me from playing nonogram because I love it so much!!! Thanks

Recent change?. This was my favourite game ever, specifically due to the constant flow of events. I really enjoy the special ones where we get the moving pictures as the trophy. However when I have been playing recently I have noticed the game looks a little different (just subtle). I don’t like this new look and I don’t know why it would just randomly be updated when it was perfectly fine before. Also it seems to not run as smoothly anymore which is extremely frustrating.

Keep frozen or crash after ads and cannot resume the progress of the game. I had just updated this today hoping the problem from the previous update would be fixed but was not. I use iPad mini. It happened there are some ads could only viewed properly in landscape position otherwise it can’t be closed to get the chance of continue the current game. However, in the past, if i just put back my device in landscape position then the problem solved. Frustratingly, since the update weeks ago, some of the ads just couldn’t change the position and it means that there are no x at the top corner to be seen & close the ads. It’s no fun for keep doing the expert level of game half way through and have to do it from the beginning. Please fix this.

frozen. i LOVE this game so much. i cant get off it. i play it for comfort and for fun. however, in the past, it had frozen on me and id have to reset the app and it would only happen once in a while. today, i have opened the app and reset it about 20 times. every time i hop on it, 30 seconds will go by and it is frozen. please fix this 😭.

Horrible. Way to many ads and the ads glitch the game and I have to restart. Also some times when I’m in a level completing the game suddenly out of nowhere I can’t colour anymore or even do anything it just glitches. And why 3 life’s like come not everything is a competition why not have unlimited and maybe you get points taken which puts you down to a lower level. Also the final picture names are really weird like keep it simple I cannot read it (10) soooooo um yeah I would recommend this game but um I was just informing you guys soo um yeah. Bye…………………………………………for now. 🥴🤓🤩🥸😎🥸🥸🥸🤫🤫 P. S. Me is kidding.

Ads stop music and play much louder then where sound is at.. Great game, play it almost every day! I have issues when ads play some of them stop my music (even when the ad has no sound). It also means I have to exit the app, restart the music and then come back in to continue playing. I also don’t like how the ad will begin to play extremely loud which also seems that it is louder then whatever my volume is on at the time. Is there a possible fix for this?

Two issues. 1 Some ads have no options to return to the game. I have to leave the app and come back some time later to complete it. 2 This game is not completely logic as when it starts out with no numbers and crosses add up to the full amount of empty spaces you have to guess where to start. Are there any tricks to this?

Auto crosses. I have completed over 7000 levels and spent many hours doing so, I absolutely LOVE this game… however recently the auto crosses function has seemingly disappeared. Where after selecting all the eligible cells in a row/ column it would mark the ones around it that it can not be with “X’s.” I reached out via the help section and was met with a response that basically summed up that there was no possible way to turn this back on. Is this a bug? Or just the way that the game will play out now, because frankly I now find it completely unplayable. I really hope this is something that can be fixed or changed back to exactly the way it was before. Otherwise, as I mentioned before I could not say a single bad word about the game other than prior to paying to remove them I experienced an extremely high amount of advertisements. I hope for a response.

Unforgiving of fat fingers.. This game is very unforgiving of fat fingers. Especially on the expert level on iPhone. It instantly pings you for a life if you tap the wrong square. Of the last 50 lives I've lost, 4 would be due to logic errors, 8 would be because I forgot that I was on the X or the Block and 38 because of fat fingers hitting the square next to the one I want. On the plus side the game is very stable and the ads are only 5 seconds long. I'll probably have to play it on iPad only. I personally think only logic errors should be penalised. You'd do that by letting the game play out until the player realised their mistake. Then either let them painfully backtrack and work through their mistake and learn from it. Or have them watch an ad to reset the puzzle. ***** Just found Classic Mode. Five stars. :)

Recommendations. This game is perfect as it is. I’m just waiting for more events! It would be nice to have a gallery for puzzles completed during events though, and be able to play them back like, just like the existing gallery feature. Already so happy you’ve added a rewards tab. Maybe you could access a small gallery of the puzzles you’ve completed for each award you’ve received, from that awards tab menu? Also, say I get a new device, I’d love to be able to keep my rewards and progress in some way. Not sure how but it would be awesome to somehow save it.

Should be 5 stars except adds keep making it freeze 😕. Really enjoy this game, except very often, when adds appear, it freezes, not allowing you to do anything. I have to turn iPad on and off at least once each session I play. Really Frustrating! I also agree with other reviews that mention how often you bump a square accidentally, you loose a life! I agree that fat fingers are not good with this game. I’d be willing to pay for the game to be free of adds. I just cannot find where and if I can do this. Great game, just needs a little tweaking.

A fun game but with too many problems.. This game has been a lot of fun but unfortunately the life system and needing to watch an ad for more lives is annoying when the majority of my mistakes are due to miss clicking, unresponsive change between X and square, or a puzzle is not passable without using hints and just simply guessing. I spend more time watching ads then playing. I understand money needs to be made but this is just ridiculous.

Great little game. If you are after a game to keep you thinking and busy, this is it. Not too many ad’s, you can skip most unless you need an extra life. Be careful of fat fingers on the hard levels and double check if you have the x or square selected.

How many levels!!!. I’ve completed over 2200 levels of this game, and still, not done???? How many levels are there Love the game, and clearly I’m addicted to this amazing game, keep the updates coming!! Also please do tell me how many levels of hard mode there are, and please add a counter I want to know how many I have completed!!

Needs a zoom function. Playing 15x15 squares on the phone makes them far too small to accurately hit the correct square. I lose lives all the time because of hitting the square I didn’t intend to hit. Sometimes I’m an idiot who got it wrong, but it’s too often simply because the design is too small. Allow us to pinch and zoom and we won’t get frustrated with all the videos. Maybe we won’t delete the app. Apart from this money making exercise, it’s a good game that helps keep the brain active.

LOVE it!. I’ve had this game for about ?a year? now I think and it’s very addictive. I am a huge fan of puzzles and brain teasers so I think it’s great. I’m at nearly level 400 and the only problems I can think of are not being able to find the daily challenges if there’s an event on and misclicking the squares. I DEFINITELY recommend getting it!

Best. Game. Ever.. I actually can’t put into words how much I love this game. I usually get into phases for games, but this has found its way into my everyday wind-down routine. So simple in design, straightforward gameplay and really does challenge the brain. Well worth paying the money to get rid of ads (which is something I never do). Love the themed challenges too! All in all, a brilliant game!

Great until bugs!. I love this app and have been using it to unwind after work! But lately it get stucks on a black screen every time I complete a puzzle. (Currently during Fantastic Journey challenge). It will also get stuck when I choose ‘Get more lives’ instead of going to an ad. I have to force quit and when I reopen the app, the puzzle progress is not saved. :(

Enjoyable, but a resource hog. I quite like the game itself- they’re neat little logic puzzles that aren’t too hard but are stimulating enough for mobile play. Ads can be somewhat annoying but aren’t overboard and are par for the course on free mobile games. The really frustrating thing is that the app appears to hog resources unreasonably, causing my phone to lag to the point of a 5 second delay between tap and onscreen feedback. I tend to play mobile games like this while listening to a podcast and this is the only app I’ve had this issue with. Also, some ads will stop my podcast to play the ad’s audio (which is annoying but I can live with it), but play won’t automatically resume after the ad and due to the game using so many resources my phone slows to the point that I can’t just quickly switch apps to start the podcast again. Would be 4 stars if the lag issue didn’t occur.

Extremely laggy. On some days it works fine, but most of the time, especially while playing older daily challenges, it's impossible to play due to lag. It freezes after a few seconds of opening a level and I find myself either having to restart the app or wait for it to start working again, but either way, it usually freezes again soon after.

Frustrating. I enjoy playing this game , it’s addictive It is extremely annoying watching the ads although I know why you do but when you watch the ad there is NO cross to touch to return to the game and you need to start the level again. Happens several times in one level. Happy to have the ads because the game is free but passing a level you should just get to the next level

Such an amazing game but…. This is one of my favourite games I love to play it every single day however I wish they had a Dark Mode. This is just a small thing I like to have and although there isn’t a dark mode I enjoy this game so much and would 10 out of 10 recommend.

Love the game but keeps crashing. Absolutely love the game. I find myself playing for hours on end while watching TV! The app keeps freezing & crashing on me though. Doubt it would be my device as it’s a little over a year old and started happening occasionally a few months ago but now I can’t even get through one hard or expert level without it crashing or loosing lives because it’s frozen. Please look into and fix.

Good challenging app. I really like this app’s design with the ranges of difficulty and opportunities for ideas when you’re stuck. Only grudge I have is a glitch where some of the ads can’t be clicked to close because of the positioning of the X. Other than that I really enjoy playing this app

Great game but becomes unresponsive & freezes. I’m so addicted to this game and used to love it. But in the last month or so I’ve noticed during every game, the screen becomes unresponsive and freezes, probably due to the ads playing at the bottom of the game screen. It’s not my device, as this is the only game it happens to. I understand the need for ads and don’t even mind watching them after I’ve completed a game but the game itself is becoming increasingly unplayable. Please get rid of the ads at the bottom of the screen, otherwise I may be looking for a less annoying more responsive version of this game elsewhere.

Fun but complicated. Title explains rating

Too much, assomme. Too much addictive , i delete it. Trop addictif, je l’ai supprimé!

Loved until recently!. Events and dailies are a wonderful way to keep someone opening the app and feel rewarding but only if you can deal with ads interrupting midgame. The Mid-game ads were too much for me and I see the responses from the developers say that they need them to continue to keep the game free but here’s the thing: as soon as midgame ads started no matter how much I’ve loved and played the game I uninstalled as soon as the midgame ads started. There are apps that do the same thing that don’t interrupt the flow of the game. If you kept the previous ad frequency you would have kept me, a person who gives you money via adsense rather than completely losing me as a source.

Fun game, chews through battery. Something is wrong with this game. If I use it and don’t force quit I get 1/3 the battery life I normally would.

One tiny detail missing. If I could rate it 4.9/5 I would but I will leave it at 4 until there is a dark mode in the settings. I love playing this game to relax before bed but the white background just makes it way too bright. Hope a dark mode is added one day! Love this game so much!!

Too many ads. Really enjoy the puzzles. It’s a great way to relax and keep the mind busy but…. I get the need for ads, but when it’s after every single puzzle, or even in the middle of a puzzle, if I exit the app to read a text or answer a phone call and return, it gets very tedious and that nice relaxing feeling just disappears. Add to that the ads with sound interrupting music/podcasts and it adds to the frustration. Someone commented about this issue two years ago and the devs responded that they would work hard to fix this issue yet the issue remains…. But the puzzles are great!

Im literally obsessed. Ive been playing this game religiously for the last yr or so. Just got to level 8000! (I may be acoustic)

Freezes. as soon as i start the puzzle the game freezes :(

The game itself is great . . . . But. I am so fed up with this game. I can stand the ads, but what I can’t stand is watching a black screen for 10 or more minutes. It shows the X to close, but when I click that X it tells me I won’t get my reward. If I click keep watching, I get the black screen for 10 or more minutes, until I can’t stand it and restart the level. I’m just about ready to delete the whole app.

Need bigger font. Great fun, but hard for aging eyes to see. How about a zoom function or bigger numbers?

New Popup Ads. Latest version has random pop up ads in the middle of the game MULTIPLE TIMES in a single game. Will not be playing until this is gone. Very disappointing!

Smaller squares = unfair mistakes. The major flaw to this game is that the squares get a lot smaller on the hard level, resulting in inadvertent mistakes. I’ve had to watch many ads to get more lives after accidentally pressing the wrong square and not wanting to restart the game. Please consider adjusting the grid/squares in a future update. Otherwise it’s an enjoyable game.

Game is Great - Ads are awful. Live playing the game and don’t mind ads (I get that is how you play for free) but recently the ads have been awful. Once the ad starts you can’t get out of it. Have to close the game to get back in.

ADS are problematic. Don’t get me wrong! This game is so fun and highly addictive. I don’t mind short ads either. Problem is, most of the time, ads just won’t load, leaving a black screen where it is impossible to do anything. The only solution is to hard close the app, making you loose all your progression, which is super frustrating, having to restart hard or expert levels again and again. On any of my other games, loading ads is never a problem. But on this game, I am close to deleting it, despite loving it so much. Ads black screen just don’t make the game viable to me.

No dark mode. I’ve had this game for years, and it there has never been a dark or inverted mode. This is a great game that lots play before bed, and bright white is straining. I’ve even gone so far to make a shortcut on my homescreen that turns down the black point (makes the screen very dark) specifically to play this game. Please make it a feature, or an accessibility option.

Is this a game with ads or an ad with games?. Significant amount of video ads that auto play with sound on (which is not IAB standard). This is frustrating for users that listen to podcasts / music while playing. Second, noticing significant battery drain + device overheating while playing this game that does not exist when using other more resource heavy apps - what could cause this? Too many ad calls? Frustrating because it’s a fun game but it seems the developers care more about monetization than user experience.

Where’d it go?. I like expert mode but I don’t like that the X's no longer auto fill when you complete a row, bring that back.

Mise a jour défectueuse.

Fun puzzle game. Was playing Mario Picross and got the bug for more of these type of games. Well done game, with lots of challenges. Please add a dark mode!!

Crazy memory leak. Like the game, overall, but play for more than a couple of minutes and it will almost stop the phone. I think it has something to do with the ads since it doesn’t happen when I’m not connected to WiFi.

Now there are mid-level ads. There used to be ads between every level, which was fine, but now there are ads that start while you are in the middle of playing a level. They could have got hundreds more ad watches out of me as I played hundreds more levels, but they squeezed too hard and now they get none.

Great game. Great game super addictive but I drains my battery way to fast and me phone gets super hot

Battery consuming and too many ads. Edit: I just realized you can pay a one-time fee to play ad-free. Game-changer! Worth the $CAN6.99. ____ I love this game. I play the expert level, which is more challenging. But the white background consums soooo much of my iPhone battery. And the constant ad pop-up is very annoying.

Laggy and unresponsive. Used to be my favourite game, wish I could play it more but every time I open the app now it lags and the screen becomes unresponsive to touch. If I am able to open the app successfully it will just freeze in the middle of playing a round.

DARK MODE PLEASE. The game is great and spend a lot of time on it, but man I wish it had a dark mode. When I open the game anywhere dark and my phone brightness is all the way down it’s like a thousands suns. Please add dark mode

Great game with lots of ads unless…. Fun game that makes you use logic to determine a pattern. I’d previously criticized the game for having too many ads, but my solution is to just play the “hard” and “expert” puzzles. You get a lot of game play before finishing a level and having the app play an ad. The daily events and tournaments will entail more ads because you’re completing more, but generally much easier puzzles. I’d also expressed confusion over what the stars were for. The developer says you can buy more hints. I’ve been playing quite a long time, and I don’t ever use hints, so maybe if I ever ran out, they offer me the chance to buy more with the stars I’ve accumulated. That makes a kind of sense. My teen daughter is excellent at this game, makes me feel inadequate, ha!

Please help. I love this game but I can’t touch the right squares when it’s the hardest mode and never do them because it’s unreliable and frustrating to play. I would love to have a zoom addition to the game so I can make sure I’m clicking the right button.

Thank you. I am 82 and enjoy this game very much. Thank you to the creators.

Fun game but why so many ads???. I have been playing this game for years. Before there was no ads, then it’s understandable that you have some to fund your game. So there was an ad once in a while. Now, there’s ad before, DURING?!? and after! Why would you put 1-3 ads DURING the game. It’s ridiculous! I know the inflation is hitting everyone, but c’mon…enough with the ads! Please stop with your messages that ads are there to fund the game and Stop putting so many ads to push people to buy your no ads option.

Needs some interface improvements. 1. If you fill in a line correctly, the crosses should fill in automatically, especially if placing an incorrect cross counts as an error (which itself is weird; I use crosses to help count long lines). There’s already a sound and greyed out numbers, just do the crosses to save me a little effort. 2. There’s no indicator showing how many squares I’ve filled in while dragging. That’s ridiculous. I want to leave error mode on, but these deficiencies penalize me for slips of the finger or losing count while dragging, or using crosses to help solve hard lines with a visual aid, not because I’m guessing.

Really fun game but one issue. Really enjoy the diversity of this game, but the biggest issue for me is that my fingers are too big and sometimes fill up the wrong squares. Very annoying, but I still recommend the game

Fun. It is fun but it freezes a lot and it doesn’t work when frozen so I have to shut down the app. But when I do, it restarts so when I am doing great on a level I lose all my progress. Otherwise it is a great game!😊

I may be autistic. There was a hammer head one

Miss cliking kill the game. Jeux super! Beaucoup de puzzle et peu de pub. Par contre, aucune chance de corriger un miss clic. On doit tout recommencer... ou pub...

Great game. Love the game. Only thing is that in the harder difficulties the squares become too small to accurately click on with my thumbs. Hard is manageable on classic mode, because you don't have to restart the level by accidently pressing the wrong square 3 times, but expert gets a little frusterating

Ads galore!. Good bye. I love this game but it is so disappointing to not be able to complete a puzzle without commercials popping up again and again during the game.

Dumb! No need for connection!. You used to be able to play this game off line, that was the appealing part. There is no good reason to require an internet connection to play a simple puzzle game. I’ve deleted the app. I’m going to buy a book of puzzles and a pen instead.

Its all fun. Too many adds

I loved this game but I guess We’re over. New update has made it so can’t even open the game, let alone play it

Too many ads. No free solution.. This Game is okay, the gameplay can be repetitive, but I have no real problem with it. However. The ads. These ads are constant, and are often ads for games from the same company! The only way to get rid of these is to waste money on ad free, but some people (Like me) have other (And more important) things to focus their money on then an ad block, and so they have to deal with the constant ads. It had gotten to the point where it’s more ad then game.

Monogramme. Bonjour Mon jeu de Nonogram.com ne s’ouvre plus du tout . La dernière mise à jour sur ma tablette est faite d’aujourd’hui Pouvez vous m’aider ? Merci

Publicity. One add before and another add after each game is way too much.

Fun Strategy Game. Love the process of elimination, guess & check... Images are had to visualize at times, but part of the fun. Ads are short and keeps me coming back!

Poor button design. There is a fundamental problem with the coding of the “X” and “⬛️” buttons that lead to unnecessary user errors. Currently if you have “X” selected and you select either “X” or “⬛️” it changes to “⬛️”, and vice versa. But as a user if you select “X” then you should expect to be using “X” regardless of what was previously chosen. This should be a very simple code change and I am shocked that the programmers have not updated this flaw yet.

Ads freeze game. Many of the ads only work when the iPad is landscape and some only work when it’s portrait. And you don’t know which one it’s going to be….and then you cannot close the app because the ap will not rotate and you cannot find the exit button. Then need to exit and you lose all progress in that game.

Too many ads. Wayyyy too many ads!!!

Long ads. When you guess wrong 3 times, in order to complete the grid, you have to watch 30 second ads to only get 1 chance….this happens every time you guess wrong…… I get it every game has ads, but do they have to be 30 seconds…I might just delete cuz I can’t stand to waste so much of my time on ads!!

I like this game. I really like this game but every since it's changed to levels I can't get an expert level. I'm already on level 1000 and not a single expert level. How long do I have to wait to get one again 😢

Too many ads. Great game and I understand that ads are needed to fund and keep the game free. However, ads before, during and after each level is ridiculous.

stalking me ???. okay so this is kind of a half joke- i love this game. it’s super fun, few ads, and there’s endless puzzles. fantastic way to pass time. however one thing that freaks me out a bit (or at least raises questions) is the random pictures i get when i complete a puzzle. they’re often very specific to something i was having a conversation about earlier, or maybe something i did that day. similar to facebook ads and the way they listen, but VERY specific. for example- i was texting about raccoons (don’t ask😭) and then 5 mins later my “random” picture is a RACCOON. another example. i was in italy in later november and was SUPPOSED to go to florence (didn’t end up going) and as i am now going back to play the november challenges, the picture for november 27th is the FLORENCE CATHEDRAL! that is literally the day i was supposed to go. maybe coincidence- but still wild, that’s all.

WAY too many ads. Two stars because this game is fun and super addicting, but knocking 3 stars off because it’s almost unplayable with the amount of ads I have to watch. Not only is the screen extremely small on the hard levels which causes many accidental misclicks and losses of lives, but after 3 mistakes you have to watch an ad for EVERY mistake you make in order to continue the puzzle. If you don’t want to continue and you’d rather restart the puzzle to get 3 fresh lives, surprise! Another ad before you can start over! At least give me 3 new lives instead of 1 whenever I run out and watch an ad, and don’t make me watch an ad before and after literally every single puzzle I do. I’ve probably spent more time watching ads than actually playing the game, plus singlehandedly could have financed all of the developers’ new cars by playing this app for one week. I get that you want to make money but it’s absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary.

The game itself is fine. The game itself is fine. It generally works great, has seasonal events, and occasionally challenges. The lower rating is for the ads. Yes, I know, I can pay to remove ads. I don’t mind ads and expect them on free apps. The fact they are there isn’t the issue. It’s the sheer amount and length of ads. Moving from screen to screen sometimes I will get a short ad, finish a puzzle, ad, take a call and return to the game, as, start a new puzzle, ad. It’s honestly overwhelming. On top of the amount, the ads have been getting longer and becoming unstoppable. The other day I made a mistake and clicked an add for an extra life, I had to sit through a 45 second ad to finish a puzzle. When I finished, I got a 25 second ad, and when I clicked on the next puzzle I got another fifteen second ad. I want restate, I don’t mind ads and expect them on free apps. However, this is just far too much to endure.

New Update Not Good. I like this app a lot, and have completed all the available daily puzzles, and hundreds of standard hard puzzles. With the recent update, whether it be a bug or a feature, rows and columns which have every necessary block filled in no longer put Xs in the rest of the spaces in that row. This way, after you know that all the spaces were correctly filled for a row, you still need to take the extra time to x out the rest of the cells. This makes the game feel very clunky when compared to before. While I have enjoyed using the app for a long time, this change does not feel consistent with the generally sleek design. If this is a bug, it is very significant and I cannot find a way to fix it. If this is a feature, then I don’t really feel like I can recommend the app to phone users.

Ok but needs a cursor control system. I have seen many reviewers complain about the size of puzzles making it difficult to fill in the right boxes even without the fat fingers problem. I do have fat fingers and have experienced this personally. While touchscreen controls are ok if you are on an ipad, they can be difficult to use on a phone. An option for a cursor style control system like in other picross or nonogram games would be a great addition for people who have a hard time with annoying touchscreen controls on small screens. On another note, 15x15 puzzles aren’t exactly hard, as the difficulty setting suggests, but they are fun and fine for making up the main body of the puzzles. I would like to see larger and harder puzzles though. Lastly, the style and sound effects for this game are great, and with a few changes it could quickly become my favourite nonogram game, but the current control style makes it mostly unplayable for me.

Really great but.... I’m REALLY enjoying this app. I think the gameplay is incredibly smooth and the ability to play in classic mode (where you don’t know your mistakes immediately and can work them out yourself) or standard mode(where you have three “lives” and it shows you you mistakes immediately, but forces a restart when you run out) is great. There are lots of ads, but that’s standard, and there’s an ad-free option which I like. HOWEVER, I absolutely HATE the toggle switch between the the X and the color. It’s really hard to tell which one you’re on, and if you are on one and you click on it by mistake it switches to the other option. I think the were going to minimalism but missed. They need to change it to something more obvious, because it keeps making me lose lives. It’s literally the only thing that is keeping me from giving this app five stars.

Love this game!. I play this game all the time. I don’t find the ads to be very long, and the endless puzzles are easy fun when I’m on the train or just trying to pass time. My only problem is what is the deal with the gold stars? There’s 5 of them on every puzzle I play (I play the hard mode most often) and the stars don’t seem to do… well, anything. If you tap in the spot- correctly or incorrectly, it still gives you the star. So it’s not going for accuracy.. I don’t like that it makes the puzzle hard to view correctly, since I often mistake the stars for a block filled in or an “x”. I just wish we could do away with them. Any thoughts or explanations from the developers would be greatly appreciated. Again, love love love this game- just wish there was an option to toggle off those pesky stars

Updated Review: It’s okay I guess. I downloaded a multi-puzzle game and I really liked the nonograms quite a bit, so I thought just a Nonogram game would be good. But I absolutely cannot stand the “three mistakes, you lose.” It’s like sudoku; I should have the ability to “pencil in” my options before it counts it against me. Edit: I think the game modes option should be on the home page and that classic should be default. A number of people who’ve left reviews say they press more than one cube accidentally. If someone wants that extra challenge, then they can change to “standard.” I also wish there was a very hard puzzle, just because the more cubes, the more detailed the picture... and I think the pictures kinda don’t look like the colored version after you win (nitpicky). And if anyone who doesn’t know stumbles on this; remember that if you put your phone on airplane mode, you can play without any ads at all (as long as it isn’t intended to be multiplayer).

Design Changes. I’ve really enjoyed this game for several years, but find the new design updates make it much harder to select fields and therefore make this less enjoyable to play. I play to calm my brain down, not become frustrated at the smaller field sizes. I have also found there to be a significant lag in the response times of the selections. I enjoyed trying to complete levels quickly. Now, it simply takes too long to enter. Please revert to the old layout and response times - it used to feel so snappy and satisfying; now it feels lagging and frustrating. Also, please make the select/ mark toggle buttons at the bottom larger and more separated. Currently, one can easily not press the button, even if they are close, or select the wrong one and/ or select the hint button when they weren’t aiming to do so. It is good you’ve decreased the size of the stars, as formerly those often would visually seem like they were markers, and it is good to have increased the numbers size and spacing, but the old grid sizing, layout, and UI was better.

I really do like this game.... ... but there are some major gameplay problems. - The app stalls, often leading to - The app arbitrarily switches your “stylus” (the switch that indicates whether you’re laying a solid square or an X), often leaving you planting the wrong answer before you realize what it’s done to you - On larger boards (15x15), three errors aren’t enough when the squares are too small to tap precisely - The color of grayed-out number is FAR too faint, leaving you to often mistaken the read on the line - A number “grays” when the blocks it represents are bounded by X’s or the edge... or it should. In practice, this is not working consistently. And if I’m wrong and it IS graying the numbers in a consistent manner, see the point above. Otherwise this is a really good game. One more thing: 15-second ads? Nope. Nope nope nope nope nope. Too long. I’m not in this game to watch a commercial. I get that you need to have them to pay bills, but you simply may not have that much of my time. This game isn’t worth it.

Rewarding and relaxing. I spend way too much time on this game but I find it very relaxing. I don’t know why solving these puzzles is so rewarding. I can literally feel a little ting of pleasure in my brain when a line is completed. Weird! I like the diverse collection of images from different cultures and often research them. I have two suggestions. 1) that there is an additional step before the completed puzzle dissolves into the image. I’d like to see if I can guess what the image is before it appears and also admire the look of it. 2) that there could be more information about the image if you click on the name of it. For example, “The Pantanal, located in Brazil, is a natural region encompassing the world's largest tropical wetland area, and the world's largest flooded grasslands.” This was an image from today. Thanks for this great app!

Best game I have ever played. I have played so many games in my lifetime but oh my, Nonogram stuck out to me. It really gets your mind thinking and sometimes when your having a bad day or you are feeling down about something, if you come to this game you will completely forget about everything that’s going on in the outside world and you will give your mindset a break. A cool feature would be that you basically only have to watch ads on choice. If you run out of lives you can watch an ad to get one back, or you can just restart, and if you have noticed with some games, in particular piano games, stack ball, helix jump tiles hop, etc, games that there is a challenge and you are trying to get to the end of it, they will give you around 10 seconds to decide where as this game doesn’t. Another cool feature is They start you out with some xs so you know where not to go, and it might save you a couple of lives. It is very helpful because if I’m not paying attention in the beginning bc I just started, they designers have already given me s head start So if you are thinking about this app, GET IT YOU WONT REGRET IT -Taylor

This deserves 5.0!!. This game is really relaxing and it always helps me with my stress and it also just takes away my boredom almost every day!! This game gets progressively harder every maybe 5 levels. The only I hope the developers might consider is taking off the ads every 2 times you press restart. I get that that is the way that they make there money in some ways but all I recommend the developers changing is maybe inserting an ad every 5 levels and maybe people would have more fun being able to play the game without as many interruptions. Otherwise this game is perfect for stress and boredom. I highly recommend downloading it. I also wish every one a happy year, month, day, morning, and night. May god bless everyone.

No mistakes allowed!!!. I was happy to find this game after having unlocked most of the picture cross puzzles on puzzle page. However I was very disappointed. This game would be great if they didn’t make it nearly unplayable. You get 3 lives? What?? And you lose one every time you accidentally hit the wrong tiny square with your human sized finger? You lose one every time you accidentally specify the wrong filler? You have to be told when you mess up instead of figuring it out in your own??? And then, you have to start over on the same game board? You have to play the exact same game over and over and over until you do it with 2 mistakes or fewer? You can’t take a break from that board and try a different one? What BS is that? Is this a game or a test? How fracking tedious.

Not perfect, but nearly.. I wish I was exaggerating when I say I’ve probably spent more time playing puzzle games than doing homework. I am an absolute fiend for them, they are what takes up most of my phone usage hours, and I probably download and delete a new one every other week. Nonogram, which I downloaded after enjoying that puzzle type on another app, has survived one of the longest. I don’t know a better way to praise it. There are ads, which is normal for a free game, but they aren’t too long and unstoppable or (even worse) shoving pop ups into every other page. The only real change I’d like to see right now is that I do find the Hard not particularly challenging. I’m hoping they’ll add an Expert level, or maybe even a timed version, to up the difficulty. Other than that, it’s pretty much a perfect app.

Overall good game. I got this game a couple of days ago, and it’s a pretty good game. Obviously (like every app), there are some things that could be improved upon. First, the boxes are a little bit too small, making it hard to always press the right one. It gets frustrating when I know which box to click, but accidentally click the wrong one, losing my last life and having to watch an ad. This isn’t a huge deal, however, just something for developers to think about fixing for the future. Another thing that can be annoying is sometimes I will leave the Nonogram app, and close out the tab on my phone. Then when I go back to the app, all of my progress is deleted, meaning everything I did on a certain game is completely gone. This doesn’t happen every time, so it might just be a minor glitch. But this game keeps me busy and keeps my brain thinking, but isn’t extremely hard. I would recommend this game!

Great for killing time, tiny problems.. This has been the longest lasting game on my phone to date, simply because I enjoy it so much. Loads of puzzles, with even more added frequently. My two concerns are the battery drainage and ads. This game, even for a few minutes, will give a noticeable hit to your battery, so be prepared for that. The ads are slightly problematic - I’m not against ads in a free game, but there have been a handful of times that the ads appear before I’ve even played my first puzzle; in addition, I also think decreasing the length of the ads (or making them skippable after 5-10 seconds) would be beneficial. As it stands, it’s much faster to simply close the game, re-open it, and start a new puzzle than to sit there for a full length ad.

Love it, but difficult after July update. I have used this app for well over a year now, have paid to remove ads, and was SO excited when expert levels were added in July. However, with this addition came the removal of the "cursor" that, for hard puzzles, let you zoom into the square you wanted so you didn't have to be so precise with where you put your finger down. This made doing these puzzles possible. Without this cursor, hard and expert puzzles are nearly impossible just because you have to be so precise with where you tap. I'm disappointed because I've put money into this game and now it's hardly a challenge anymore since the only puzzles I can physically do are easy and medium ones. I've waited so long to review in hopes this feature would return. Please consider putting it back into the app. Thank you :)

Amazing Game, but new issues. I’ve known about this kind of game for a long time, and when I saw it on the App Store I immediately downloaded it and I’m addicted. I absolutely love this game and cannot stress that enough. I play this game for usually at least 30 minutes a day, so I love always having new puzzles. However, after playing this for so long, the “hard” levels are almost becoming too easy. Generally, the only times I mess up are because of the game. Sometimes, it doesn’t register things when I click too fast, so it says I’m incorrect. Another very large issue I’ve been having lately has to do with this. I try to change from dots to x’s and I have to wait five seconds because the game is too slow. This also occasionally happens when I’m pressing blocks and I have to wait for the game to catch up. This game is still amazing, but these recent issues are just annoying and I’m sure I’m not the only one dealing with them.

Great but could use improvement. I love this game and the puzzles however I have only 2 issues with this app. One, it sets my iPhone on fire. Seriously. This app uses so much energy my phone is burning hot after use. It got so hot once that it melted my phone charger. That could potentially be a fire hazard. I have to quit playing after some time so my phone can cool off but it shouldn’t be that way. My second issue is that the hard level gets hard to touch the boxes because they’re so small. Whose fingers are that small to touch those boxes without making a mistake?? I love the hard level (it’s the only level I play) but I can’t count the number of times I’ve hit the wrong box by mistake because my fingers aren’t that small & I have some pretty small fingers. Other than those issues, the game is great. I’m happy it doesn’t harass me and make me buy stuff and use coins. It’s just a simple super fun game.

Will probably play this until I die. This game is the only one on my phone that hasn’t been deleted in my waves of app purges. I never get tired of playing. The board is calm and simple, it was very easy to learn the rules but never gets boring because the “hard” category has a good mix of doable and difficult puzzles. Sometimes I will get stumped on a puzzle and close the app but after 10 mins I am back again trying to solve it! It’s appealing in the same way Sudoku is because the rules are simple but each puzzle is a challenge. In the future, I would love to see an “Expert” category. Even just having 16x16 would change the multiples involved and force my brain to try harder. I also think it would be cool to have a running tally of how many puzzles I’ve completed in each category. I also think having a “Random” button (to generate a puzzle of random difficulty) would be awesome. I love the events because I never know how hard the next puzzle will be and that keeps things interesting. EDIT: I am also amazed by the number of levels this game has. I have been playing for at least a year and never run out of new challenges! This along with the low number of ads (and they aren’t intrusive to game play) makes this game my favorite. Hope that’s helpful, I highly recommend this game!

Advertising lockup. I understand that you have to play advertisements to make the money it takes to provide this game free to the public, but occasionally the ads lock up the game. Generally after the ad plays the ad ends on a screen with a ‘X’ in the upper right corner. The user then hits the X to return back to the game. However, occasionally, the ads places the X under the reception strength bars and battery indicator, a dead spot on the screen. You can tap the X all day, but you cannot return to Nonogram. The only apparent solution is to delete the Nonogram application from your phone and reinstall it. On the next update, you may wish to make a subroutine that automatically returns the user back to the game after 60 to 90 seconds so if an advertisement locks up the game, the user doesn’t have to delete and then reinstall the game to play it. That way an error in an ad that you do not control can not ruin the game experience and taint the Nonogram app.

Great game, but Expert squares are so small. I love this game and it is the right level of challenge. Expert is my favorite mode, but on an iPhone 11 (not Pro) the squares are just too small to accurately mark the spaces. Most of my mistakes are entirely due to the small squares. I’m not sure the solution to this as the board has to fit within the limits of the screen but would love a way to play without mistakes! Update: I appreciate the suggestion to play on Classic Mode. I really enjoy playing it this way now! One suggestion I would like is the option to Restart the board on Classic Mode, as sometimes the board is too filled in to Undo so many moves. Right now, to start over you have to just wrongly fill in a bunch of squares.

Great Game But Features Desired. I genuinely have loved playing this game for well over a year a now. Love that challenges were added since after playing for long time the pictures do repeat. However, I do miss the auto fill of the X that I did have until this last update. This was an option in settings until this latest update. This is something that has almost convinced me to remove the app simply since it is too easy to make a mistake and have to go through Ads over and over. This feature helped anyone to clear levels without the fear of making a mistake that they than have to sit through ads for. I am not saying not making a mistake is a challenge, but for goodness sakes someone bumps into me I hit something wrong on a square and if I already made two mistakes I get punished by ads which again I have to go through every single time I complete a picture?

What Happened to Infinite Lives?. I bought the paid version of this app so I would have infinite lives and not have to watch ads or deal with coins. Today, no more infinite lives and I refuse to spend real money on fake money. I went to Settings > Restore Purchases and the app then tells me my purchases have been restored, but they have not. Unhappy since I bought the paid version. This is my favorite game. I like to play the expert level and it’s pretty impossible not to accidentally tap the wrong square when you’re playing on a phone because the squares are so small. What gives? Update: The developer responded promptly, which I really appreciate. My purchases seem to have been restored now. I love playing this game and completing all the challenges. I find myself breezing through all of them and then anxiously awaiting the next one. I am a happy camper again. Thank you!

Almost Perfect. Love the game and concept but I wish the ads to get more lives were shorter. Also too easy to click the wrong box, especially if you want to play on a car trip or something. Would probably be more fun on an iPad. Also, please add a dark mode! I play this to relax and fall asleep sometimes and the screen is way too bright! Color inversion doesn’t work because of the new “smart color” feature on iPhones. In addition, I feel the special events should either be open for longer or contain fewer puzzles. I did the math and to complete all the postcards during the 8 days events are open, you’d need to do about 30 puzzles per day. Estimating each puzzle takes 5 minutes, that’s 2 and a half hours per day sitting on this one app... just seems like a bit much, especially since I only use this app to kill time or fall asleep. It doesn’t amount to that much usage per day...

❤️ the Game Events on this app!!. I love any puzzle/brain teaser apps, and lately this has been one of my favs.. Its important for us to “exercise” our minds, just like we exercise our bodies, and this app does just that. Unlike some other apps in this genre, there different game types you can choose from. My favorite is the EVENTS!! Sometimes playing consistently can get a little monotonous, so this is a great way to keep things interesting, and challenging. With that said, like other reviewers, it would be extremely helpful, and healthier for our eye health, if there was a “Night Mode/Dark Mode” option. It’s horrible staring at a bright white screen. I have to turn my phone’s brightness level as low as it possibly goes at night. Next, which would be AMAZING, and greatly appreciated🙏🏼🙏🏼 is to have some type of “Zoom” feature for your “Expert” Level. It’s insane how small the numbers are. I honestly don’t know how anyone can make it through an entire game I’ve tried numerous times, but can only play for about 3 minutes before my eyes start to hurt. Lastly, I’ve searched everywhere to find out how to earn more “Hints” I’ve tried watching adds all the way through, Switching game modes, etc. but nothing works😢 Is there something I’m missing? Lol

Love it, hate it. Love nonograms! Not so sure about this app though because of one key feature that makes it infuriating to play by penalizing you for human error. I think the game itself is clean, and relatively easy to use. I really like the feature that grays out numbers you’ve completed, and shows a highlight animation when you complete a row. Those are great ease of use that make the game more enjoyable. However, the feature I can’t stand, is the “3 lives” feature. This one is absolutely a deal breaker for me. I like to work fast and self correct on the fly, but this feature penalizes you for errant strokes. Whether sliding your finger one square too far, or accidentally forgetting to switch between the “mark” and “x” actions, these puzzles often use up all my lives before I can finish. This is extremely frustrating because I’m forced to move painfully slow and delicately, paying very close attention to where my fat finger touches the tiny boxes, instead of just enjoying the game. Often times I have to repeat the daily puzzle 3-4 times to clear it, not because it’s difficult, but because errant taps eat up all my lives. So, I’m done with this app. I give up. I’ll find another one that doesn’t use the “3 lives” feature. I’m not going to waste time that should be satisfying and calming getting all wound up over a silly, shortsighted game feature. My advice, look elsewhere.

App is great!. I used to play this app back before the seasonal challenges were added to the game, I love this feature. It gives so much more content to the app and I love the animated reward for completing. I would rate 5 Stars but I have one issue that really puts a bad taste to my experience. I don’t know if this is a glitch or not but when you have the game audio muted the ads don’t stay muted and you have to manually mute them, but some ads don’t have the option to mute them. I did some testing and it only happens when you’re connected to either speakers or headphones, it stays silent when you’re not connected to anything. I personally like to play this app while I play music either into my earphones or onto my Bluetooth speakers but it’s quite annoying when an ad you can’t mute just overpowers the music I’m playing.

Obsessed. I’ve been playing this nonstop since I got it. I paid to get rid of ads, so it’s even better. The cost of removing the ads seemed a little steep at first, but since I’m playing it daily, it’s more than worth it. 😜 I’ve brought up issues, problems, and suggestions, and the developers have been both responsive and helpful. 👍 I’m happy to recommend this game to anyone who loves logic puzzles. I play it on Classic, and never used the Standard mode, so I can not speak to that form of play. 🤔 I’ve only resorted to using “Clues” once and the failure, in the end, was mine. (Developers helped me realize I was missing a piece of logic when I complained about a puzzle not being properly solvable through logic.) 😬 The pictures created from the Nonogram puzzles are cute, but I never found them necessary except as a way to identify finished puzzles. It allows them to create theme puzzles, though, and associated badges, which does motivate me to play even more. 👾 My only complaint (or warning to anyone reading this) would be how small the numbers are along the column and rows. I am getting on in age and find such tiny text is getting tougher to read. But it is my choice to play this on a small iPhone, so I cannot blame the developers for that; that’s more of a platform/old age issue. 😏

Might be a 5 with some tweaks. Really a great game but there are ads after each puzzle and some of them…especially the one for Chic fil-e….make the x to close it so small that it won’t close and instead opens another page. Also the ad for good Rx freezes and you have to close the game down and restart it. Wish there was a way to not have ads. Also , the numbers indicating what you have entered correctly are SO LIGHT that you cannot see them and often enter squares incorrectly because it looks like you are entering the first section of squares when in actuality you already had the first one entered. Same thing with the square and x at the bottom…they are so light that sometimes you think you are entering a square (or an x) but it is actually on the opposite selection. They really need to fix this then game would be one of my favorites.

Almost perfect. The game itself? Super fun. The levels are appropriately programmed. No easy ones in the hard levels and vise versa. The events are great. I highly recommend this game 5/5 stars. I personally have a problem with the game overheating my phone. At first I thought it was because I had an older phone. I’ve now upgraded to the newest iPhone and am still getting an overheated phone after about five or so levels. The game will lag after about 3-4 levels. I’ll have to close it out, reload it and continue the level if I wanted to continue. But I’ll only get about one level after that before the phone completely freezes. As I’ve gotten a new phone and this problem only occurs when I play this game, I deduce it’s the game. That being said; the developers are great and very quick to respond and I have a feeling my rating will soon be 5/5 stars. Because, honestly, this game is one of my favorites.

Excellent customer experience. So I don’t review apps hardly ever, but this app deserves one because of an experience I had. Do you know that this developer included a contact us section for help and support? I had an ad that just wouldn’t close, no matter what I did. It was for a local business convention but it had no “x” button, no timer, the “close” button did nothing, and the open button took me to a website but didn’t close the ad. I reported this and thought I’d be ignored, because the ad makes them money, right? NO! They got back to me within 10 minutes and within 30 more it had been investigated and the ad had been blocked from their game! I think they truly care about their players experiences! Can you truly say many developers on this App Store do that? 5 stars is deserved!

Great game, steep demands. I’ve been playing this game consistently since April of 2019 (I wish I couldn’t prove that so I didn’t feel old lol) and have loved it the whole time, pretty much. Plenty of updates have come through and they seem to be working on things still. The ad purchase was well worth it. My biggest criticism is the insane requirements for daily missions. Some days it’s 15 games played, EZPZ. Today it’s FIFTY. In what world is it reasonable to ask someone to do 50 puzzles daily to unlock the daily puzzle? It’s also pretty lame to force us to do “regular” levels when there is also a time-limited event. I know why the requirements are that high (FOMO drives the eyes to the ads), but that doesn’t mean you should be doing it. For the dipping into my time pockets to try and turn me into a li’l coin mine for you, three stars. Do better by your players, even the F2P ones.

Great brain teasers and app design. These types of brain teasers are great for passing time. Once you figure out the logic, it becomes less of a puzzle and more of a “picture find”, but is very relaxing and meditative in that aspect. This app does an incredible job of keeping things interesting with seasonal events as well. The app design itself is what truly sold me on it. Easy and simple to use interface. What I really appreciated, though, was the perfect balance between using ads to allow free use of the app without making it tedious or annoying. Ads are skippable after a few seconds and only play before and after a level - they don’t significantly interrupt play, which is more than I can say for a lot of apps with this model. Eventually I payed to remove them, but by then I really felt the great design and content had earned the money.

Love this game so much. I’m low key obsessed with playing this game and paying for the app to get rid of ads was completely worth it. One comment for the developers - I’m not sure if this was added in the most recent update, but the automatic x’s that have started showing up when adding a tile should have the option to be switched off. They’re *too* helpful and have removed some of the difficulty and fun of figuring out the puzzle. Edit after dev response: sorry, I should have clarified! Turning off the auto crosses feature in settings is helpful but it also switches off having auto crosses appear when a row is solved, which actually was a helpful feature. It would be nice to have separate on/off settings for both features.

Could use cosmetic upgrades!. I love this app and was surprised I did! I often circulate through puzzle/logic games because after a while they become stale but this hasn’t. It’s one of the only apps I’ve ever put money towards! I would really like however, for there to be a way to change the white background!! It’s so harsh on my eyes and often times I play this to calm down & after a while it just gives me a headache even at the lowest brightness. I would love some more options and less harsh backgrounds! That and I often miss click because the boxes are so sensitive but other then that, it’s great. TL;DR Awesome app, hours of unique game play, but I would like an option to change background color instead of harsh white.

Painful addiction. I’ve read a few of the reviews and I’m sad to see that some suggestions were not enabled. Completing a pictogram is the addicting part. Dealing with constant ads that break the game, losing my progress because of said fault is massively frustrating, and “miskeying” because the squares are super tiny is maddening. I’ve had the game since late October and I usually take my time to evaluate a game, as in six months to a year. Ads are the worst compared to other games, even similar games I’ve downloaded to compare the performance. The “do or die” committal when selecting a square (combined with hellacious ads that freeze the app and cause you to close the game or that take longer than the seconds indicated PLUS losing your progress on a single puzzle of 225 tiny squares smaller than a stylus tip) is unacceptable. I’ll be moving to another game once I find one that’s just as simple and not overly stylish like most games are now. My simple sudoku game is better than this and it’s older than my phone.

Too glitchy to enjoy. First glitch I encountered was after finishing a game and the ad played. I exited out of the ad and then there was no continue button to go start a new game. Not a major issue, just inconvenient to restart the app to play a new game, and it only happened once. The reason behind the 1 star rating is that the X tiles chip away at your health if put in the wrong spot and don’t act as a placeholder, but as an actual playable tile. You can’t remove them either. Multiple times I’ve encountered that when I place tiles in a guaranteed correct spot, it marks it as wrong, chips away at my health, and then fades to the “correct” tile, which is the same tile I tried playing. Lost multiple games because of this. It seems once that glitch starts, it doesn’t matter what tile you play because it’s gonna mark it as wrong and you’ll have to start over.

Best Nonogram App on the Platform. I’ve been using this app daily for several years. They have regular events that introduce new puzzles, the ads are minimal compared to many similar apps, and the addition of a slight vibration feedback as you select tiles allows you to count exactly how many you’ve selected without picking up your finger. The two things I’d like to see added to the Game is some sort of zoom feature, as the harder levels have tiles so small you’ll likely lose more often from sliding your finger a millimeter too far than from incorrect logic. The other thing I’d like to see added is an option to adjust the number of mistakes you can make, as this would mitigate those accidental slip-ups I mentioned above.

I rate it 100%/5%. This app is very good. Usually I don’t like apps that are puzzle apps or don’t have levels but it is a amazing game. I am addicted. This is my favorite game I have, and get this, I have Minecraft, which I loved since I was 6 and know I am almost a teen. And at one point I got addicted to Minecraft. Anyways I love the concept and I believe even the hard ones are easy, like not saying this in a bad way but I think a 4 year old could beat the hard levels. Thumbs up 👍🏼 and I look forward to trying more puzzle games because of my great experience with this game. Thank you for making such a great game I can waste my time on because I love just wasting my time since none of my family members play with me or entertain me cause my sis is going to 8th and my parents are always busy, but I manage to entertain myself. 😸👍🏼😃😄😝

Yikes. Could be a good game but there are way too many advertisements. I read reviews seeing that many complained about that but thought it is probably like other games where you get and ad after each puzzle (and be able to skip it after 5 or 10 seconds), boy was I wrong. You get an ad entering a puzzle, completing the puzzle then one leaving the puzzle. That’s at max 3 advertisements per puzzle (even tiny super easy puzzles) and some ads you can’t even skip after sitting through it for so long (as many offer), no, these are 30 second ads, with the odd chance of an ad letting you skip it after 10 seconds. You could possibly get a minute to a minute and 30 seconds of ads between each puzzle, keep in mind the easy puzzles can take seconds to finish. That’s more ads than the reasonable amount for the ftp player and ftp game tradeoff, unless there are no in game purchases whatsoever.

Love!!. Absolutely love this game! I hope they come out with more events like the Christmas postcard one going on right now. Seriously I have tried many a version of this type of game and I honestly deleted all the rest because they were such a huge waste of time and it took forever to get anything done. This I love you can choose what difficulty you want to play at and can be changed at anytime. I love the daily challenges, like I said before this post card event is a lot of fun. I hope you come out with different categories as well in each difficulty to make more challenges and reward system. Like you beat this many of this type at this level and you get a prize of a special photo or power up. My only complaint about the game is I am disabled and my hands twitch a lot so I end up accidentally hitting a square I didn’t mean to hit. As far as I know there is no obvious way to help fix this but just wanted to put it out there Incase other people with muscle spasm and other twitchy movements know that it is something that can happen. Seriously I see room for so much growth in this game and I can’t wait to see what is else to come. This I really believe this is the best way to play this type of game and isn’t insanely overwhelming like the ones that have the giant pictures you have to fill in.

Needs iCloud Support. I understand you can pay to remove ads, and the developers fund the game through ads, but when you open an app and are immediately hit with an ad, that’s extremely annoying. This app does it all the time. There are just so many ads, and the lack of iCloud support doesn’t justify the $5 price to remove them. This game is a lot of fun, however it definitely needs iCloud/Facebook integration so I can continue on my iPad. The hard levels are even more difficult on an iPhone because the squares are super small, and playing them on my iPad is much more ideal. Hopefully this is in the works already, or is something that can be remedied fairly quickly. Update: Months later and it doesn’t seem that a cloud save feature is coming, which is very disappointing, especially with the new “expert” levels. The price to remove ads is a tad high, and without being able to sync your progress to the cloud to continue on another device, I really don’t see the value.

Amazing Game😁😁. I love this game so much it’s so addicting. It has easily become one of my favorite mobile games. I am young so of course 2 adds between 5 levels is so many ads for most kids my age. But for me there actually isn’t a lot of ads at all which was surprising. I am so glad that I downloaded this game it’s fun and challenging at the same time. Some levels that were really big at first were super hard but I’ve played this game for a little bit and those levels still are kinda hard which for me is a good thing. I love games that are like this and give me a challenge some game I have had would put ads every level which this does not do to me only when I restart the level 5 times in a row. The game is fantastic and I absolutely love it and I recommend this to anyone who likes a challenge. Thank you if you read this all the way through.

Great UI, too many ads. I think the ux for the actual nonogram gameplay is probably better than the other nonogram apps that i’ve tried. However, there are waaaay too many ads. This is especially evident in tournament mode where there a bunch of easy puzzles in a row that take seconds to finish. So far my time with this app has been like 60% ads, 40% playing. Yeah the ads can be short, but it’s really annoying to be getting one every couple of seconds. I wouldn’t pay to remove this because of how casually i play this but if you play this a lot it might be worth it for you. UPDATE: I received a reply from the developers that they cannot remove all ads. To clarify, I am not saying to remove ALL of them. The worst thing about them is how frequently you see them and how they interrupt your flow from actually playing the game. I understand that ads provide income for a free game, but the they can be overwhelming.

Lots of fun. Very minor issue.. A pure Logic game. Small enough not to be to time consuming, large enough not to be trivial. If I have a gripe at all, it’s with the interface. I run into two common errors beyond simply making an error. The first is clicking on the wrong square, and I suppose that’s a function of how much detail there is. I have no doubt that the iPad version is less prone to this. I think the iPhone does have a way to show where you will be clicking and that would be a help. Much more annoying is the toggle between the two states. I frequently find myself clicking one side of it because that is the move I intend, only to be marked wrong because it was already in that state and switched to the state I don't mean. I would like to be able to change its behavior to be like radio buttons, where pressing one side enabled that side no matter the previous state.

Favorite Game Right Now. This is absolutely my favorite game right now. I love the daily challenges, and I even went back and finished all the ones that had been published before I started playing. It would be a 5 star game easily, if only the last week or so hadn’t had so many 15x15 daily challenges. Let me be clear, I don’t mind that it’s harder to solve. I enjoy the challenge. It’s just that I play this on my iPhone, so the puzzle boxes end up being painfully small. I end up losing all my lives at least once not because I purposefully hit the wrong box, but because my fingers are so much bigger than the boxes that my phone reads my pushes as being for the wrong (or multiple surrounding) spaces. And the puzzles are so much bigger than starting over from scratch, knowing that it will probably happen to me again, is a serious pain. Can’t say enough good things about the 10x10 puzzles, wish the 15x15 puzzles had bigger box sizes.

Love the game but, CUT DOWN ON THE ADS!. I’ve been playing this game for, I think almost a year now and I absolutely love it, I have on both my phone and my iPad. My only problem is this: ADS! From the moment I started playing to day I have been unable to restart a level without getting an ad. Like, if I don’t want to watch an ad, don’t give me an ad lol 😂 Update: It wasn’t making me mad or annoyed , it was kinda hilarious hence the reason why I put a laughing emoji. It was just driving me a little bit crazy because I was getting ads every time I died and pressed restart on a level lol 😂. No hard feelings. I still love the game which is why it’s one of the two Nonogram games I have on both of my devices. Keep up the good work guys 😊

Great puzzle app. This app (unlike a lot of other puzzle/game apps) has a ton of great content. The puzzles range from easy and relaxing to hard and engaging. And you don’t have to trudge through the easy stuff in a set order like a lot of other puzzle apps I have tried. The daily challenges and events keep things fresh and they recently added a whole new difficulty level which is great if you like long, difficult, and high concentration puzzles. Its also a pretty cool feature that it saves your completed puzzles for you to look back to later. On the free version, the ads aren’t nearly as annoying, long, and intrusive as on other apps nowadays. I myself despise ads and marketing with a burning passion, but I would say the money you spend for the ad-free version is definitely worth it if you enjoy this type of puzzle (even if you don’t dislike ads quite as much as I do). My one complaint is that in the harder difficulties it is easy to waste mistakes due to inaccurate clicks because the squares are so small. However, this isn’t even a problem if you switch the play mode to classic. Then you can add or remove squares and “X’s” as you see fit without worrying about mistakes.
