Great game but. I love the game but if the creators are reading the reviews please listen to this one I would like more customization in the construction area of decorations because I want to customize my HQ more like for example add something like cut down logs to sit on for like a camp fire set up like I can put a mini bonfire then put logs around it and have a little camp set up and other customization things around the game like customizing your own character you can unlock things like shirts shoes socks pants accessories like jewelry sunglasses or glasses and you don’t have to go that far into it but add things like eyecolor and facial hair and expressions. Please! Let us have a 360 view so we can move around our view so we can see more to the HQ and other things in the game and also let us rotate things that we were allowed to rotate before like our warehouse or farm or lumberyard in those rotate those all the stuff so we can customize it more to this will be a big update but please do it if other people are reading this please like it so they can do this you don’t have to but if you agree you can. 😀👍😍👌 great job on the game Kings group loving it so far just more customization please

Requested full refund and termination of account. I left my ID number, IGN, and what state with evidence showing that what they got sued for last year, is still happening again, and I would’ve not known about the issue if there wasn’t an article about the company getting sued again for the same reason, but on a different game. However SOS still is doing the same tactics that they had to pay back when they lost the lawsuit. The sales that they have show you crossed out prices, and then shows you the adjusted discounted prices look like a good deal, but I caught the same price Crossed out, as what was advertised, and I quit playing after that. However they haven’t replied to my comments on the community forums and Facebook with my linked screenshots, and my demand for full refund of money spent for all of June. Then they can delete my account and ban me forever, because I don’t want to play a P2W game. They used to let people who played for free have a chance to get all of the items that’s now all locked behind a paywall. Don’t spend money on this game, and file a litigation against them for false and misleading advertising with malicious intent. I will contact my bank and PayPal to request my refund which is protected by buyers protection, and a Large firm on the westcoast will be happy to help with my claim, if I can’t get a full refund based on false and misleading sales advertising in game!

Good game with the same old story. The game is fun and the graphics are very well done. But as is the norm for this type of game it’s fun for a few days then you need to shell out $$$ to get things done without waiting hours for upgrades on buildings or troops to finish. This game has good game play and lots of missions to keep you busy but once again it’s a game where the biggest players destroy the smaller players constantly so what’s the sense of playing. I don’t mind being attacked and losing a battle and resources but there no way to continue to grow when you are attacked and destroyed several times a day. Put a limit on how much a player can lose before a free and I mean free shield pops up to save loss of resources based on player level. I liked this game and even in an alliance you get destroyed. It’s a shame I don’t mind spending here and there to play but the cost of a shield is way too expensive. Just another good game that’s going to lose out on the volume of player to please the few big spenders. Such a shame this was a well designed game. It’s almost a great game. But who wants to grind and have nothing to show for it when your not on and have to start over. If you lose a battle pvp you might as well quit moving your base and a shield (peace flare) will break you wallet. I understand the game needs to make money but 100 small spenders will spend more than 1 big spender food for thought.

Terrible customer service. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have been playing this game for almost a year. It has been fun and there are a lot of good qualities to it. What has ruined it is the lack of interest to their user base. I had made a purchase and the game crashed (the game crashes A LOT) and i contacted their customer service, which is pretty much a chat bot. Waited. Waited. Waited some more and nothing so i contacted apple. They issued a refund and thats when I received a response from SoS. I was placed in probation for requesting a refund and until i pay back the refund i would not be allowed back. WHAT? Lol.. i pleaded my case but they refused to acknowledge the validity of my claim and kept repeating that refunds requests are a violation to their terms.. what a joke... especially from someone whose spent a pretty penny in this game. When i submitted my ticket with customer service i had all documents. I had receipts, proof of purchase from paypal/apple as well as screenshots that the package that i paid for was still locked.. they still refused to see the evidence and only focused on me requesting a refund from apple. As if im supposed to wait a long time to request a refund.. this is a big community with loads of servers on discord. I’ve shared my experience in all of them and this has been echoed by a lot of players. So many issues with purchases and customer care not caring about it. So users beware, they do not care about you.

Broken/glitchy app - No support. This game is super glitchy and crashes constantly. I’ll get locked out of the game for hours and have entire events or tasks I miss because of constant glitches and crashing. Events are basically “pay to win/pay to play” and so is pretty much every other part of the game. This would be fine except that I will spend the money, and it could be a few hundred dollars, on events, only for it to crash every time I try to load it and prevent me from playing much if any of said event. As the issues have been getting steadily worse over the last few months, as much as I loved and enjoyed the game, I am ready to call it quits. I want the money I’ve put into the game back because it’s literally unplayable. Of course the developers and apple support are both completely unhelpful telling me I should try and dispute the charges with my bank instead of trying to get help from them. I’ve never considered getting a Samsung before now. Moral of the story, don’t get this game. With as expensive as it is to play, it shouldn’t be broken to the point that it is often unplayable, and don’t expect help from the developers or apple when it doesn’t work. They knew they were selling a faulty product and so they won’t do anything about it to help.

False Advertising Up The Wazoo. Just wanna say real quick I didn’t have a problem with this game player wise before seeing all these ads, now I feel like I’ve gotta say something. The game is literally every kingdom building game ever. Tapping and waiting and paying to not wait as long, like we’ve all played and complained about before. I actually don’t have too much of a problem with this game aside from what I’ve just listed because I went into this gaming KNOWING what I was getting into and knowing that if I wanted to get ahead and upgrade stuff without waiting months on end I was gonna have to pay outta pocket. I’ve had this game for a few months and play it when I’m bored, it’s good for wasting time and if I care to pay attention to the 19,000 different story lines going on in the game then that too also passes the time for me. But I’m writing this one star review because what I cannot stand is seeing all the false advertising for this game on other apps and ads. It’s ridiculous and it’s pathetic you dupe people into downloading your app because they think if they play long enough and get through the half hour hand holding tutorial that they’ll finally get the kind of action they saw in your advertisements that made them download in the first place, when in reality they won’t. Shame on y’all.

Fun so far!. I’ve only been playing a few days and finding SoS entertaining. I’ve found an alliance that is friendly and helpful and am busy growing my settlement and my game status. Most games are fun at first, so I am not convinced that my positive feelings now will be the same later on. I’ve played Age of Orgins for a couple of years and have seen a very cool game destroyed by greed and disregard for players who cannot invest thousands per week to stay on top. I understand that game designers need to be paid, but there has to be a better way, or at least a method of managing the game to give small spenders a chance. Otherwise, as merges occur, big-spending leaders clash for power, and there is no cooperation or fun in a continuous civil war. In Age of Origins it takes days to replenish higher level troops, which equals months to make any kind of an army unless you spend big bucks to hurry the process. So many are reluctant to go to battle because the losses are so difficult to recover from. Visit any world in Age of Origins and you will see endless bubbled cities and hundreds of abandoned ones. I’m only saying this as a warning to the developers of SoS. Try to do better. Learn from their mistakes and let this be a game for everyone to enjoy, regardless of their monetary status.

State of survival (cons and pros). State of survival is a great and Over all a very good game, you can never get bored with all the daily missions. Daily missions when completed give you loot and other resources, the game gives you opportunity to communicate with other players and work as a team to survive. I enjoy the explorer trails, they are challenging and fun, sometimes challenges can be hard and that’s why there’s an auto button. This was a great game, and I most of all loved when there were events like the joker. This allowed me to do so much more, and cure my boredom. You can get prizes and sometimes even more characters. Though some cons come in, you can’t really upgrade fast, for you need supplies that is hard to get and without that supplies you can’t do quite a lot. Like training troops for instance, and fighting or going on explorer trails. Some challenges can hold you back in the game and the prices for resources are high. Even though the cons aren’t the greatest I love this game and everything with it, it’s so amazing. There’s even a help center where you can text people or workers in the game to get supplies and other questions answered. The game is a fun and exclusive way to cure boredom, it teaches a lot and I feel this game has really benifited me and will do the same for you. I rate this game 4 stars, tell me what you think.

I love this game a lot But…... I mean I obviously love this game seeing as I’ve spent a lot in it already. My problem comes in yesterday when I purchased the Dynamic Weekly Sale 3 deal. Before I purchased that, I saw the Research bundle and bought it for $4.99 ($5.29) and it came through no problem with all my resources in it like it was supposed to have. THEN, I ordered the Dynamic Weekly Sale 3 BUNDLE which included the rewards for that bundle and it was suppose to include an extra set of rewards full of hour speedsup. I had to unlock those hour speedups by completing things in the game and they would unlock using a key. So when I bought the dynamic deal it was to include the original rewards AND the extra set of rewards I unlocked! I contacted support in the game and they told me that the rewards were issued. They absolutely were not issued to my account because I would’ve been able to use them for the challenges I had to do with my Alliance. I didn’t get the extra like I was supposed to and they telling me I did. My whole entire outlook of this game changed because it just seems like they only care about the money and not the real issues of people. I will not spend another dime on this game.!

Game of true survival. I downloaded this game ever since it came out. MUST READ!! It was the best game, unfortunately every sate began to die and remaining states are going through what I went through. The games was ok till about 3 years ago when an updated turned things to worse. Low ranking players can’t rise due to high ranking players wanting more power. If one can’t get more power then one burns low rankers and it goes to the point low rankers leave. And this goes on causing the population of players per state to decrease and honestly, uniting states to prevent death of states due to low population does not help nor makes thing better for us players no mater what this game states the end of the game. STATE OF SURVIVOR is precisely how this game ends, only the strongest players survive EVERY STATE AS STATES ARE UNITED. Unless you the player are willing to make the owner of this game richer in order to survive you to will die eventually meaning you won’t be able to catch up to the strongest to survive. Please reconsider if you plan to download this game. After so many years of playing my state died and the ever so few players that we were, a ghost town, were sent to a stronger state only for us to end up not surviving. I saw my state abandon the game one by one til I to left the game. By all means millionaires will always be rich and the rest strive to survive. REAL LIFE STATE OF SURVIVAL.

Different from the others. I began playing this game out of boredom with no expectations or desire to continue to play past the first day. This was not the case however. As soon as I went through the standard learning curve that all mobile RPG/Strategy base building games have, I knew it was a game I can see myself playing and investing time into. This game has a lot of the elements that other successful and popular games of the same genre has, but it is unique enough to keep you interested because it has added features and mechanics to the game that I personally haven’t seen in others. This game doesn’t feel like a “copy and paste” clone of other well known games that many many others on the app stores have become. The best part about this game in my opinion, is that I do not feel as if it a straight up cash grab game that pressures you into feeling like the only way you will succeed is if you spend a lot of money; if I spend any money, it will be because I want to not because I feel as if I have to. You can enjoy and actually compete within the game without ever spending any money. Overall, it’s a well made game that’s unique enough for veteran mobile game players to at least try out!

MUST READ!. I had to give 5 stars to get this into an area you will see it. If you are not wealthy, or able to spend a MINIMUM of 100$ monthly for “growth” then you will just be wasting time. It’s a “Free to Play” game that requires you to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to stay competitive. Otherwise you are just going to get wiped out every few weeks. NEXT UP: Customer Service is an almost completely automated system that does NOTHING for you. If you are lucky enough to get a human response, they will tell you it’s your fault whatever it is. I actually got a response from customer service that did say they would compensate me for my issue, then they never compensated me. That’s why I wrote this review. They brought Resident Evil in because they are desperate and losing players in flocks. The game is dying, it’s glitchy, it is a money pit and I hope they read this review because I want them to know that the reason I wrote it is because they didn’t compensate me after spending an ungodly amount of money. Will you compensate me now, FunPlus?

Needs some additional help. Okay so the game is basically pretty cool but it has some draw backs first of all u less you spend money it’s hard to collect all the players cause you have to collect pieces of them and if you get them you rarely get them again to level up but you’ll get the same 2 characters till there generals and the dam game goes into over drive and when you do the searches like your supposed to now all of a sudden the game wants to give you 5 of that character now and you cannot even use them any more why not rotate the players you do need why does it give you the same 2 people and you can’t use those pieces anymore. Also when your in a clan you cannot share your resources with you guild mates on all other games you can share supplies within your guild and they tax you for it which is very helpful cause if your attacked and all of your supplies are taken and they have killed all your troops it will take you a week just to get back to what you had because it takes for ever to collect the resources back to get your troops back if you could share withi. Your guild you could put a tax on the resources that you share so like if you shared a million food or wood the tax could be high to begin with but if you leveled up say a trading station your taxes of resoreces could be reduced but never less than say 10% I just wish it would be more team friendly that away. Other then that it’s an okay game

Rating Dropped. While you can compete up to level 30 as f2p if you watch strategy guides to know your best options it eventually becomes “Spend all day playing AND spend money to keep up.” It is fun but unless you’re bored and have a lot of extra money you’ll likely decide you have better things to do with them. A lot of different things in one game: From challenges to decorating your base…am never bored. Can buy cool game gear but not required to enjoy the game. Stunning graphics and interesting plot. Normally don’t write reviews but recommend this one highly! (And you CAN share resources with alliance members via trading post….and you get coins to spend in store for doing so.) Update: Still enjoying the game very much after our alliance changed states. Dropped a star though because there’s no way for me to bring The Joker into my new state. So although he’s paid for I can’t use him unless I leave my alliance and go back to my old account. —-Devs please consider some way for players to import a limited release hero from an abandoned settlement to an active one. Otherwise this game is really addictive and they do work on ways to improve. The recycling center and other updates are steps toward an even better game. If they get me my Joker I’ll reinstate the 5th star and add update.

Fun-ish but.... So, ive played a ton of these types of games. They all have their issues. But this one was one of my favorites of the genre. It was really well made. Has a lot of heroes that are all pretty well balanced. Good side tasks. Right level of grind for leveling. Etc. But the devs have been absolutely tanking the greatness of the game steadily more and more over time. They increased prices, give discounts to new accounts and not to people who have played for a long time, made a lot of changes that were all generally negatively received by everyone except the biggest spenders, and their handling of dead servers is really terrible. Instead of taking care of dead servers and transferring the active players to a new server with new players, they just merge dead servers with older active ones where the active one far outpaces the dead one so everyone gets trampled quickly. Then pump out fresh new servers that you can make a new character on like candy which means anything you bought on the old server is effectively wasted since nothing transfers to a new character. Overall, its becoming more and more obvious that they do NOT care about their players at all so long as they can make money from the biggest spenders. dont download this game and feed into being fodder for the big spenders to dominate and keep spending on this game. its not worth it

Players are unheard. I have been playing this game for over a year. I would call myself a moderate spender. I have invested $1,000’s of dollars. I am definitely a top 20-25 player in my state. My husband also plays, and he is one of top 10 strongest players in the state. So you see, we’ve invested a lot of money and time. Our alliance is ranked 2 in our state and we’re competitive on a global scale with players reaching the top 100 global leaderboard. Now we watch as our state and alliance dies around us. Players are leaving everyday. There is no replacing them because there are no players left to replace them with. The constant large upgrades have made spenders leave because their previous $20,000 investment is no longer going to be able to compete with the player that is dropping another $20,000 into the newest upgrades. The gap between free-to-play and pay-to-play is almost laughable at this point. To top off costs and the dying state components the game is incredibly glitchy and at game day reset you know you’re not going to be able to login. The rewards for the “everyday” events like bunkers and facilities, horde, plague zones, intel, CC, and SvS are so dated and really only help low spend players that are just starting out. Help save our dying states and reinvigorate gameplay in older states and not with events that just cost us more money either. You can do better SoS.

Don’t Play. Game is great at the beginning but after awhile the game changes and requires you to continuously purchase items to be able to complete higher levels. Not to mention when you purchase items you don’t get to pick what you want. It scrolls through the items and gives you what they want. Example, you want a gun. You can’t pick it. The game will scroll through multiple items and pick what it wants you to have. So you end up with 3 pants, 2 shirts, and if your lucky maybe a Glock, which breaks after so many uses. All of which seem to get shorter the longer you play!! This game is hungry for your money. I recommend playing something else unless you like games that take your money. Oh and when you get to higher levels when you die you lose everything! I have been playing video games since the 1980’s and play not only on my phone but on both Xbox and PlayStation. These are mine not the kids which are all grown up. Tuning 60 soon and have been playing video games for almost 49 years! Take it from me this game is money hungry!!

Playing 3 years. First it is a little expensive if you want to advance. Second should be rated 18+ because of the spending and also it’s like a long distance Tinder for gamers lol. Also it’s serious people spend real money to grow and be strong there is no place for a 12 year old in this game. Next customer service is almost non existent, good luck getting a response on things that are not basic. States are dying for many reasons too much to list here but if they made it easier for us to move back to a state or to another game play would be so much better. It’s like your held hostage with no where to go unless you log off for 61 days and by then you are behind on heroes and everything else. Behemoths, aircraft’s, new heroes, temptest arms, so much to spend on it gets overwhelming. It’s fun sometimes and they have lots of options for buying things but no options for what state you can play. Transfer event is a headache and also very costly and not enjoyable, most quit playing around transfer event time because they can’t reach their friends. And without friends there is no point to play. It would be nice to get a free move option we could use once every 6 months if needed, game play and spending would flourish if they made it easier for us to move or go back to states, again it feels like being held hostage. So much more I could say but I will leave it like this.

Forced P2W. I love games, I enjoy them as much as I can regardless of the problems. I don’t ever remember leaving a bad review for any game. That being said, this game will make even Ghandi come post some shhhht. The game can be decently fun and you end up liking how they set up pretty much everything, but the p2w system, which by the time you realize how bad it is, your stuck. I have had many issues with this system and I ended up shrugging it off because of how I am. The only reason I am still playing, is because of some nice people. But the only reason I am posting in here is because of how hard it is just to post a ticket about yet another error. So here is the copy and paste… I get at least 1 command manual every infected fiend level 3+ defeated. I made sure I had the 50 command manuals before I grabbed the ‘use 50 command manuals’ task for alliance throw down (including purchasing a command manual bundle). Once I started the task and could only use 44/50 because of the way you set it up. I needed 1 more to get this task completed. I have fought a whole bunch of Ifiende and wasted over 200 stamina. Not 1 command manual. Are you trying to make me spend more money???

Read if you really want to know what this game is!. So I am going to sum up for you what this game is really about… It is the same old every day open game, click a ton of buttons to get things you need to keep moving forward…. Very repetitive and boring… Yes they attempt to add in new things, but still just click buttons… A chimpanzee could do this… But to really understand how to play the game… A bunch of boxes of boring text pop up… It becomes annoying so you will eventually do like me and just close them… But if you do… you have no idea what you are suppose to do… Either way if you read or don’t read it is just about clicking buttons… This will only allow you to get ahead very slowly unless you spend a fortune… I stopped spending any money on this game… and not even sure why I still play other than I like my alliance members… Because I am not playing this because it is fun… it isn’t… and every once in awhile you will get attacked and lose a lot of troops… so will have to every few hours move levers to match the number of troops it allows you to revive… and this goes on and on and on for days to get part of your troops back… There are so many other games out there that are fun…. Skip this and play them… This game is really horrible… despite the false ads that make it look fun… If you just want to open the game daily and push a lot of buttons… if you like that… then this game is for you… for the other 99.5% this game is really boring!!! IJS!!!

My state is dead. State 72 is dead top 5 clans went an joined forced into 1 clan cause there arent enough players to play against in the state itself an now anyone who comes into are state is just dying cause we have all the strongest people in the state so now all we can do is events games fun but would like to smash the low population states together , also people in my state are running 3 different accounts an ruin the game for people with 1 account example:i try to do one of the events an it takes alot of stuff or materials to do it an i have 1 account so i use all my stuff to place high in the ranks only to have some guys 2nd account thats low level win because over the course of the game they just save an save because their 2nd account doesnt get used to often so it makes it impossible to place at the top cause once you start to beat someone they use the 2nd account just so you dont win because there main account could caught up cuz they sont have enough stuff to do so which is very much unfair to anyone else whos trying to do events

Not bad, surprisingly fun and addictive. I just downloaded this game yesterday. I have spent money on it, because I’m impatient and from prior experiences playing games like this. If you don’t pay for some of the “perks”(extra resources, speed up etc.); you will be a target for the really big spenders. They will zero you out and lose interest in the game. You can’t play on your own, you will need to join an alliance to make it easier to get resources and reduce the amount of time building and researching. It seems like the devs are listening to the players, on current event, they lowered the requirement to obtain prizes. The game is simple and isn’t too hard to figure out. One of the things I think that needs improvement is the requirements to get a peace shield. You have to use “bio-caps”, which are hard to get. If you get bio-caps, it’s takes a lot of them to get a 24 peace shield. Quick search on the internet, I found you can enter codes to get bio-caps and others things to get you going, that is a nice surprise. Overall it’s not that bad of a game. The packs are inexpensive, but they increase in price when you purchase one. So be careful and select wisely.

Horrible Support. The game is similar to others out there. Build a settlement, attack zombies and compete with others for rewards. Warning, it is an expensive game. I’m fine with that, my issue is that their support is horrible. If you have any issue, it’s your fault. The game is riddled with bugs that lead to missing rewards (both free, and ones YOU PAID FOR), also some of the benefits (called buffs) you purchase won’t always work. Again, if you contact support, they will immediately say it’s your fault and close the support ticket. I found too many bugs that took things away from me that I paid for, so I stopped putting any money in. I also reported a few mystery charges I did not initiate, again it’s your fault, not theirs. I suggest you play it for free, and resist the urge to spend, because the developers will just find a way to steal from you. Or better yet, just move on to try one of the many other games that are exactly like this. Maybe those developers treat their customers better. *** Response to developer: More time? Each time I submitted an issue you were quick to close the ticket without asking any follow up questions. I had to submit the same ticket three times for the same bug. Each time having to re-explain the issue to every new agent who responded. You were not interested in fixing the issue, you just wanted to blow off your customer who spent A LOT of money. So, I’m done spending money. I’ll play for free with that kind of support. ***

Don’t waste your time. It’s rigged to make you spend money .. This game has potential to be fun. But it’s an exercise in futility. You join up and get put in a state only to see level 30 players who spent hundreds and thousands of dollars bullying everyone who doesn’t spend money or is new. So you can have your settlement for a week and some other player comes along who’s been playing for a year destroys you. Even if you spent money for the first week they are to powerful and the money you spent was a waste. They even have an event called kill stage where you get points for kills. So after joining for 5 days I got attacked by one alliance a bunch of times and had no troops and they moved my settlement as it burned to the ground . So essentially starting from scratch . I got placed in a state where 90% of the alliances are foreign. And they see an American player and I am a sitting target. I join a decent size alliance and they dictate where we can build and what we can and can’t do. So much fun!! Sarcasm of course. Save your money on another game. I hope one person who spends money reads this and goes to another game instead and spends their money elsewhere. And Kings group knows this, I have spoken to other dissatisfied players who have written Kings and they don’t care. It’s stacked for spenders.

You will spend all of your money. This game is fun with many ways to strategize for optimal play. However, the constant barrage of advertisements for $4.99 here and $4.99 there to enhance your experience are designed for players to accept without thinking. For those with problems of self control, especially during a pandemic when you’re trying to find an escape from the real world, you will easily spend thousands of dollars without realizing it. In order to be a top player in this game and compete for top prizes, you will have to spend $10,000+ and deal with sexual harassment, hate, bigotry, xenophobia, and a multitude of other undesirable characteristics of top players. I have created accounts in at least 7 different states in this game and there is only one state that has some semblance of organization. It can be fun, but it can also be financially devastating and gut wrenching for people looking for a simple escape during a global crisis. Along with that, there are updates all of the time that include major game lag and missed opportunities to participate in events due to these constant upgrades. I’m sure there is a better game out there where you can have just as much fun, meet people from all over the world, and spend a fraction of the money. Go see for yourself but heed the warning.

A Numbers Game, Nothing More. Games like this are fun when they first come out when everyone is on equal footing. But after some time passes, the players and alliances who have reached high levels—either by playing for a long time or by spending their money and testing the patience of their loved ones—establish a tyranny over everyone else. If a higher level player attacks you, there is very little you can do except watch, grit your teeth, and do nothing. If you try to counterattack, you (and possibly your entire alliance) will get blown to smithereens. So even though the game is called a “strategy” game, in reality it is a “numbers” game and nothing more. As your settlement progresses to higher levels, it will require more time to level up. Minutes become hours, hours become days, and days become weeks. When you reach this point, you can either develop the patience of a Zen monk and grind away without spending anything, or you can spend your hard-earned cash to reach higher levels faster. Or, you can delete the game and wonder why you ever started playing it in the first place.

LOVING IT. I love how the game is baste on zombies I love zombies games so much it’s something that is interesting to me and I also love how the game is based on zombies because when I was little about three or four are used to watch The Walking Dead all the time my mom just let me watch it constant I really like zombies and gory movies so for me to download this game is a real treat for me. That is why I downloaded the game state of survival and this is also why I rated this a four star review it is probably one of the best games I’ve ever downloaded in my downloading history I am very happy to have a state of survival game it is also like I said a very awesome treat for me so thank you for Creating this amazing zombies game so for whoever made this game you are the best person living yes of coarse a lot of people are the best at living I guess but this is just the best game I’ve had so thank you so much for putting this game in the game store I really appreciate this and I’m going to play it over and over again all my life this is why I picked a four star rating yet because it has its ups and downs but I really think that this game has some talent and I think that I’m going to play all my life so thank you and goodbye.

Average free game with good graphics. Overall SoS is a good enough game for being free. The graphics are good and there’s plenty of content to do for being a free game. That being said, the developers make it clear they want you to spend money by constantly putting different ‘packs’ everywhere on your screen that can be purchased. One example is that every time you load the game there’s a pack that is offered for 4.99 (right now it’s the Survival of the Fittest pack). You can also pay to have a second construction slot to upgrade buildings, which is reasonable for the price. What isn’t reasonable is that every time you create a new character, you have to purchase the second construction slot again. This was very misleading because I purchased it on my first character thinking it was a one-time only purchase because it literally says that in the game! The game can be played without ever having to pay money, but just know that you won’t ever be as powerful as the people who pay for power(yes this game is pay-to-win). I’ve been playing this game for over 10 months now and I do enjoy it, although sometimes I do get annoyed at how much the game tries to advertise different things that can be purchased. If you are looking for a new game to play that is free I would recommend trying out SoS, but just note that it’s pay-to-win and you’re going to get bombarded with ‘deals’ and offers in the game.

Could be a great game... bullying ruins it!. It’s supposedly free to play but unless you put in a lot of money, unless you have a endless supply of cash or your mommy and daddy‘s credit card you aren’t going to get anywhere but crushed. And the developers don’t care, or that’s the feeling that is received by everyone. There’s different levels that your base can be at and different stars your base can have. I’ve watched repeatedly as alliances that have eight star bases attack little alliances and crush level 28, level 25, heck I’ve even seen a level 20 go down under a 8 star base, because they don’t have the cash to put into it. There’s nothing to stop much much higher levels from killing states. Those are called dead states, and there’s a lot of that going on. There is nothing put into place to stop the rampant killing, BULLYING, that’s going on. The Devs could put a stop by just halting anyone from attacking three levels below their own, but that might stop the money from coming in and they can’t have that. It’s going to come to a point where everyone leaves and the only ones left are the credit card players, and soon they’ll have to attack their own. This game was fun, it’s just not anymore. So if you have a credit card it’s a great game for you, if you don’t have a credit card with an endless supply of cash stay away from this game.

Don’t waste your time or money. Warning!!! Seriously don’t waste your time or money on this game. It’s a trap, for real. They allow bullying and harassment with no consequences. The trolls and disgusting behavior is allowed by the developers of the game. There is beyond disgusting things being said and done on the app. Don’t let your kids play it’s not age appropriate and really this goes for just anyone who is a decent human being. I won’t repeat the deranged things being said and done but know it’s scary. You can try to have hope because it has so much potential to be an amazing social fun game but instead it’s been taken over by the most horrible people. Many players lie, cheat, steal, harass are just overall hateful people that will stop at nothing to ruin the game for players. I wonder how many players quit over this. I wish I quit much sooner. The game developers could easily change these things but they choose not to. Just know there is nothing in place to protect people from harassment and bullying. It’s not a safe place and there are to many good games out there to waste your time on this one. For your safety don’t play this game it should really come with a warning. On another note there is a lot wrong with the game and it’s not going to be fixed so honestly pick a game is worth investing in.

The game. The game is awesome I be on it 5 time out my day so it’s cool to kick back in play while you chill of course you can’t go wrong with zombies and the story line is great nice flow with the different characters in the game good kick off with the little girl to find friends in her horror road to survive so it’s juice with nice and chill restock meaning the way you don’t just dive into the user pockets with extra eco to get things moving or you have to wait long times to get something and wants to wait I like to dive in knowing I have 10 mins or 15 mins of build time or I can use the awesome patch that the game have to push the time so that helps out a lot because it give that feeling like you can move on to be a better level a feel of I beating the game but I have to work or even wait the time given so it give you a nice world of tip tap to continue the game if you rpg player like me but overall the game play in the cut scenes are smooth real life like with camera angles good work on that but to summarize it I give it 5 out 5 because I love zombies game man in this hand held phone app game is good no buts.

Good Game, but don’t spend money here. The game is fun. But you need to be very careful about where you settle down and where you choose to build your headquarters. Before you build, or invest ANY money, try to get a sense of the alliances there. Once you are there for a few days, you cannot take your HQ and move to another state, so you have to abandon it and start over. And spend more money. Many states are full of bullies, who destroy weaker alliances for no reason and force them to abandon what they have built. The game does not prevent the strongest players (5 star/level 35) from attacking anyone, no matter the difference in power. It does not limit the number of attacks or cap resources that can be stolen. People are openly bullied and harassed in the state chat by these groups. That is a BIG problem in this game. The developers do not respond or assist, even when presented with picture evidence of the bullying, copies of attack logs and other evidence. Probably because they already got the money from the players and don’t care. This game could be so much better and enjoyable for everyone, with a few small changes, and if the developers cared to stop the terrible behavior. But, so far they have not, and some states, like 493, have turned into dumpster fires.

Deleted on second day. (Updated). My last review was pretty old so after playing for almost two years now, I'm done. The devs continue to cater to a very small contingent of big spenders. Everyone else struggles, begs and pleads for the bugs to be fixed and to lessen the gap between the few big spenders and everyone else. It all falls on deaf ears. I don’t advise downloading and playing this game unless you have plenty of money to enjoy it at all. New review: I tried again and have been playing for a few months now. It's a bit expensive if you want to progress and stay anywhere near the level of other players in you’re alliance, but after giving the game another try, I enjoyed it. Mostly for the people I've met. Old review: I started the game yesterday and was kind of liking it. Played for a few hours and upgraded buildings and trained troops. I forayed out to get supplies and killed zombies and stayed pretty busy. Stopped playing to cook dinner and later went to bed. Got up in the morning and everything was undone saying my defenses failed and I was to start all over. No thanx. If I can't step away from the game without losing everything, I’m not interested.

Game dictate your life.. If you’re looking for a game that will pretty much take over your whole life you have found the right one. If you’re trying to enjoy a holiday with your family, know that this game will plan an event to interfere. If you choose your family over your game, you may come back to your village being zeroed. Such as what happened to me. You spent a lot of money and time building things up, and really don’t know the rules or how to get certain things even after six months of playing, this game still leaves a mystery. You find you’re doing things wrong which cost you a lot of time and then find others that know what they’re doing but won’t share that information with you even though they’re on the same team as you. They will take you and lead you into battles and won’t explain things to you and then they end up getting you in trouble because you don’t know what you’re doing. Some of your leaders will badmouth other teams which will cause the other teams to come after everybody in the group, not just the one that’s doing the bad mouthing so pick your alliance wisely. Streamers are there to take even more money from you. After awhile the game gets repetitive and you need to set an alarm for them. Make sure you are playing the time zone as most of your alliance or you will be left out of many good events. Plan to rack up $1000 on your credit card yearly. I did and I am frugal. After investing so much, hard to stop playing.

.. I got this game about a week ago, so far I’m liking it. I did go ahead and purchase the Extra Labor Pack, my card got charged but I did not get the pack.. i had to “update” my payment so it directed me to the App Store and I put okay and the payment went through then when I went back the the game it said “payment failed”. So I was like okay whatever, I was pretty hesitant to buy it in the first place so I didn’t mind that it didn’t go through, he next day I check my purchase history in the App Store and I had a payment pending for The State Of Survival.... I go and check my bank app AND of course the payment is pending. So I tried disputing it with apple first and all they said was to contact the game support. So I went to see if I can find a number or something AND nothing. So I have to now dispute it with my bank and it is very annoying that the payment went through but I didn’t get the pack... which I really want because it has that extra slot to build two things at once, which would be fantastic. Now I’m just going to wait for my money to get back into my account and hopefully the pack is still there so I can purchase the thing and actually get what I’m paying for lol. Small rant but good game just be cautious if you’re purchasing anything in the app.

Better than Most!. I’ve played this game fore only 3 days but I can tell that this is a different experience than what I’m used to. I’m this game there are so many different gameplay mechanics that you may forget. Not only can you attack other players bases, but there is a single player mode, and side quests. The single player missions are similar in terms of gameplay and the story may be not that fleshed out, but it’s still highly enjoyable. However this is a free to play game, so how are the micro transactions handled? Unfortunately every time you load up the game they will shove a micro transaction opportunity done your throat. They also put micro transaction logos over key buildings in the game in the hope that players will click on them. I have done this several times and it’s an annoyance in my opinion. I understand why they do this, but I still don’t agree with it. However the positive to all of this? You DO NOT need to buy these transactions to progress at an acceptable pace. There are plenty of ways to speed up building construction and scientific research. Overall I think if you like zombie games, base builder, and simply want something to pass the time download this game and try it out.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU DONT HAVE MONEY. Well hello fellow game players, I downloaded this game almost 1 year ago. Its fun, interesting, full of people but recently the game developers have made it apparent that money is more important than the players. This game is most definitely a power hungry contest. More power you have, more friends you have. Starting out power didn’t cost a lot of money, $20 here $20 there. No big thing. Now it’s THOUSANDS of dollars. You are now PHYSICALLY UNABLE to progress in the game at the pace needed to in order to survive. (Survive; you have your own army of troops, when they die, you no longer can play the game; stronger players kill your troops). I have spent close to $1,000 dollars on this game and It’s very heartbreaking to know that a majority of my fellow players that I have made close friendships with will now be unable to progress in the game and await our demise from stronger (rich) players. The developers will auto respond to this review and tell us “your voices are being heard” - “please contact us through the help message in game” but they don’t help. Our in game inventory goes missing, they don’t help, our purchases don’t get added, don’t help. It’s always automated responses. It’s really a shame what the developers have done and continue to do. This game is fun, you make a lot of friends and it is BEYOND time consuming but if you don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on it, please don’t waste your time. S104

Love it! BUT.... I love this game highly addicted and happy to have spent money on it. There hasn’t been a game I’ve actually enjoyed this much until this game. BUT, I have recently hit a brick wall, I’m a clan leader but the alliance has hit a brick wall with the alliance towers and research because there are no Gas Alliance Nodes along the outskirts meaning you have to move closer towards the middle to get Gas alliance nodes, unfortunately it also makes it harder to move because clans already Staken claim to areas within the map making it harder for smaller clans to grow and build along side of them. Honestly there should be more Gas alliance nodes all over the map especially on the outskirts of the map so it’s fair for all alliances. Also there should also be a way to @ people in chat whether it’s one person or the clan as a whole. Lastly I feel like clan leaders should have more reign during alliance events for example Alliance Showdown, give the clan leader the chance to move people to different lanes. Honestly, I want to give this game 5 stars hands down, but there are just things that limit growth in the game whether it’s individual or as a clan. But I still love the game I just wish things could be added to the game ie; Gas Alliance Nodes around the outskirts, since there are already farm, wood, and metal Nodes. It forces smaller clans to have to move where there is no space cause stronger clans already taken up space in the central parts of the map.

Need a new ranking system. Fun Plus is raking in the ratings from Kings Group hard work, Fun Plus customer support is impossible to contact unless you have screen shots (which don't always apply). And when they do and you explain the issue, they don’t care and close your ticket immediately or just ignore it and you get zero response. More zero response lately because Fun Plus doesn't care. Latest event people lost millions of points due to a glitch, I sent in ss showing this I had lost x number of points, but only noticed it after my 5th upgrade, meaning they had one score out of four previous ones. So what did their “customer service” do? Nothing. Never heard from them. I've quit spending on the game and will refuse to do so until my proper rewards are delivered to me. I earned them, but you failed. We just finished merge and half my state is thinking about quitting because of Fun Plus. Yeah one state out of over 1,100 isn’t anything. Which is why a new ranking system need to used. Let’s see what the real ranking is with Fun Plus and their incompetent customer service. I'll guarantee unless they bot rate it, it'll be 3* or less. That’s how badly managed the game is now. Incompetent CS cannot and should never be rewarded with hard earned money, they only care about your wallet not you.

Useless Customer Service. Rating this 5 stars so the algo puts on top ratings. MUST READ!!! Their customer service just sees people as numbers, they don’t care about anything that happened to you, just your money. I understand that this is a business, and as a business, must generate revenue. I don’t mind spending some because I have fun. But when I have an issue in the game and customer service does nothing, then I don’t feel valued and is NO FUN. I had lag issues and one of my upgrades was cancelled and only half the plasma given back, as well as days of upgrade, biocaps, and speedups. I reached out to support and all I asked for was the plasma I lost due to the lag/freeze issue back. What did I get? I slap in the face nothing and automatically closed my ticket. I hate they close your support tickets right after a response! That shows they don’t give a rats about you or your issue. The issue is/was not resolved and I was not happy. Do not close my tickets automatically! Shame on your customer service. All I was asking is the same items I already had back, since I lost them to a technical issue. This in no way affects other players because I already owned these items! But you know what affects other players and the community? Me gone, another player gone, another player you lost because of your lack of care and respect. Value your customers!!

Honest Opinion. Since there isn't an updated Review on this game and I know that Reviews are technically personal opinions, but hear me out. This game is somewhat fun and somewhat boring. I play it daily and there's some pros and cons. I wish the cooldown for the Settlement Buffs were less because I can't take a 20 minute without my settlement getting attack and then I'm back to square 1, trying to make "money" again. It's also very simple to get currency in this game. I've only spent money on this game once and it's only been $4.99 other than that in my opinion, you really don't have to spend money on this game like others are saying. I also think there should be a mute button for messages that are being sent by Alliance members because they can be some spammers and it gets pretty annoying from time to time. Not to mention, that after you finish beating all of the "Boss" zombies to unlock your land that's it, there's no more boss levels to complete which is kind of boring because that was the only reason why I continued to play this game. There are mini version of the boss levels on a mini map, but I preferred the bigger boss levels you had to clear to unlock land. Like I said there's pros and cons, but overall 3.5 stars, semi good game.

Terrible support team. Cannot fix login issues they caused.. Worked fine until New Year Update 2 days ago. Now, cannot log into game, only can go online submit and read tickets. They tell me fix game, it does not help, change internet settings, also does not work, offload and reinstall game, also not working. Pictures sent of everything tried, upgraded game, upgraded system. Nothing worked. Then someone said problem fixed and closed out ticket when still cannot log in or enjoy game. I have lost my continued game log in streak. It has been two days and had to submit another ticket. Soon this game will be replaced. There are games better than SOS with game developers that upgrade servers to handle login issues which are the SOS Game Developers fault like this, it happens every time these developers create a new update they do not invest into good game coders and when their game codes do not work, they do not invest into solutions, or upgrade servers to support their gaming player traffic. Game Testers like me have helped other game developers with their games, but cannot help SOS since they close out their tickets unresolved. After over a year of playing around their game bugs and unresolved login issues, I am about to give up on this game because of poor customer service experience. I have opened up one more ticket, but do not expect the login issues to be resolved now is the fourth ticket opened.

Fair and unique. I went in to SoS with indifferent and honestly low expectations. The ads I’ve seen don’t do it justice though I know it’s a hard genre to advertise. I really like the multiple things you can do instead of just managing your settlement. I think the little exploration tasks and survival challenges really add flavor to it and are pretty fun. The in game transactions are honestly fair priced and you still get a lot of biocaps for completing missions so unless you have something specific in mind you might not even need to buy to progress. I like the multiple chiefs and their different combat abilities too. I think the events are pretty neat. The dailys are really beneficial too. If I had any criticism it’d be that it might be nice to have troops linger in the battlefield instead of completely returning. It can be a little cumbersome to have two intel missions right next to each other, 80km out, and have to wait 3 minutes for them to come back to send them out again. Though it’s entirely possible I’ve missed something. All in all, I’m having fun with it. Being in an alliance actually feels helpful for timers and such when in other games I’ve barely noticed their assistance. For reference for where I’m at in the game — I’m upgrading my HQ to 18 and I’ve been playing religiously for a week.

Unfortunate. This game was once OK. After two years of dedicated daily play, I can say wholeheartedly, that the devs have really outdone themselves the last few months. They are the biggest group of money hungry, incompetent, selfish people you could ever imagine. Save yourself the time, money, and sleep by passing over this game. If you are NA, being forced to wake up at 3,4,5 am to participate in weekly events is absolutely unbelievable. You want to be competitive and show your power? You better have an unlimited cash flow, otherwise you won’t amount to anything. I have made many friends over my time playing. One thing I can say for certain, with the 10’s and 100’s of thousands of dollars we have given KG, you would think there would better appreciation for us; and I’m not talking about our alliance specifically but “survivors” as a community. No. Wrong. Not only is there the most microscopic bit of thankfulness, but, they are ACTIVELY DRIVING HUGE SPENDERS OUT OF THE GAME. If you have made it this far, I can assure you that you definitely should not play this game no matter what the in-game ads from other games show. And to the Developers and Kings Group, if you’re reading, you’re completely brainless and should listen to the community as a whole instead of the little pets you have doing you’re bidding. Maybe then you could have prolonged success. Shame on you.

Fun and Addictive! LOTS to do!. I have been playing a week or so; it is a fun addictive game with tons to do. Pokes to spend real money on the game are pretty reasonably not in your face but easily found if you want to go that route. I did spend about $15 on a top-up special and it gave me a big start as far as being able to speed up training and upgrading of my buildings. Worth it to me. Heck, I’d easily spend that on lunch and now that we’re in the COVID-19 era, I’m not going out to lunch as often as I used to so might as well still have some fun! I joined an alliance that is casual but active, which is nice! I love the events and the way that missions and other tasks are kinda staggered so you can play for pretty long periods of time. I wish that I could queue up research when individual research tasks are less than 10 minutes, maybe up to a limit of three tasks. Not a fan of shooty stuff where I have to control individual heroes so I’m really glad I can set the shooty challenges on auto and 3x speed...it is amusing to watch the zombies shamble into bullets and die in that mode. Nicely designed, visually attractive game. I will play for a long time, for sure. I wish there was more stuff to decorate my settlement with! Maybe I will discover there are as I progress.

Unfair to Free to Play players. Recently kings group issued out hundreds of codes to the players. Giving away great rewards. Well after 12 or so hours of trying to get codes and not getting sleep before a big battle that happens twice a month they decided to roll it back creating extreme lag during State Vs State making so laggy it just made you mad. The kicker in this situation is we all get generic messages of “We will forward this report on to our supervisors “ just to never hear from them again. They have gotten rid of the reporting system and customer service functions in the game. The only way you get help is if you get VIP 12 well that costs a lot of biocaps or time and they took the biocaps away from the codes they gave us. I for one will not support them on their new game and I suggest others don’t as well. They are quite greedy and want your money just to push out events that are glitchy and buggy and makes the game play poorly thought out. They need to update Reservoir Raid and Showdown and Fortress Fight and AC’s and many other things. I do love the game. I gave it a 1 star due to the glitches and bugginess of the game and not fixing what exists and keeps pushing crap out when they should focus on fixing what we already love in the first place!

Addictive. Addictive game. The first few levels are great but as you advance upgrades to your buildings take longer and longer until upgrades take hours to complete. To make matters worse you hit a wall on what you can do without upgrading. You cannot queue up your upgrades so the next one starts when the one you are working on finishes. That would be a great feature to help with advancing gameplay while you are off doing real life things like working, going to school or sleeping. You cannot add a second construction slot to work on other things unless you pay real money. The same goes for training troops. At higher levels it takes hours. Upgrading your hero hits a wall. The really good upgrades, you guessed it, costs real money. Exploring the world? You can send out tow groups to gather resources, which once again, takes hours on higher levels. You cannot get more groups to send out unless, you guessed it again, pay real money. Researching new technologies. You hit the upgrade wall and you can’t research more than one thing at a time unless, you guessed it, pay real money. Do you see a pattern emerging? After a certain point this becomes a wait forever for something to happen or pay to play. I am almost a week into it and have already hit the pay to play wall. I don’t see it staying on my iPad more than another week unless something changes.

No sure why. Not sure why I keep logging in. No sure why I even hit the buttons, not sure why I train troops,not sure why I care. This game has no point at first you have fun you build you grow then it all stops. It then becomes a game of well I’ll log in just to see if my people have been eaten, or if my supplies have been taken in a attack, it at the point of sheer boredom. So I’m not sure why I keep logging in and clicking the buttons. The constant updates got old 20 updates ago and that is not an exaggeration. The “ challenges” are not. The game is boring and the same all the time some events have been interesting but mostly the same thing with different colors so do one event and you’ve done them all it just repeats and repeats and repeats endlessly. You can’t grow or develop anything new after about week 2 so I have no idea why I keep playing. 3-4 months and I keep hoping this update will bring something new and nope. So developers maybe add something new please, games can be repetitive but really you are bringing a whole new level to so beyond the same..I hope you actually understand what I’m saying, and I hope anyone thinking of downloading this doesn’t, and I’ll probably unload it soon it really a waste of time and space on my device. But it’s become a habit to just click but it brings me no joy and very very very very little entertainment.

Don’t put money or time into a game that requires you to bind your account.. The app restarted my game when I upgraded my phone. Don’t put your money or time into this game unless you can bind the account. It’s been over a week since I last logged in. Several active players sent Help and Support messages about what happened. Help and support is useless even though you send screenshots of all the transactions, chief information, coordinates, etc. I hope players are still active if I ever get my account back. Other than that I had fun playing the game. I enjoyed customizing my settlement and teaming with other players to fight the plague. If help and support were better this would be a five star game. Update: Help and Support was able to relocate my account after 26 days and I’m happy to play again. Unfortunately my base’s resources and troops were all depleted and I couldn’t start off running. My absence has impacted the alliance and many players lost interest in the game. I tried my best by purchasing several packs to rebuild my settlement and troops but I wasn’t the strong player that I used to be. I tried to motivate players to participate in events but we weren’t able to place anymore. It’s sad to see the players that I invested my time into leave the game. I tried my best.

Update 1.9 was terrible. This game is good for what it is. It’s a zombie survival game. I mean I spend more time fighting other survivors than zombies, but whatever. I enjoy it for the events and the fun I have with the players. Overall it could be better for reasons I state below. Each update seems to have more and more things that players are not requesting and less things we actually want. Please listen to those who are playing your game and fix the issues. We can all adapt to changes and work with new ideas, but completely overhauling something that has no problems, with no reasoning, makes no sense and only takes away from the gaming experience. Many of us have put a lot of time and money into the game, so consider that before just trashing what we love about the game and take heed to our suggestions. There have been update that came as a request of players, and that’s awesome but more often than not it’s a patch or a throw in instead of being a planned thing. A lot of players are starting to get stuck in old states that are dead, so consider opening state moves or combining states so those players can keep enjoying the game. Take the time to focus on where your money comes from instead of how you can make more of it. Thanks.

So far so good. I’m only one day in so can’t be 100% sure but so far I’m liking it. I’m Berber not doing anything which is one thing shattered annoys me a lot about these kinds of games. There’s obviously waiting periods but even in those waiting periods there’s what’s something to do which is good. So far haven’t been bombarded with ads to pay to level up or advance. Obviously there is still ads but it’s not every 10 seconds and you actually really don’t need to go progress. Everything is very achievable through simple gameplay.

Death Threats and abuse. Support takes no action. DANGEROUS game!. I have been playing SoS for nearly 12 months and as a game it is fine, if u can ignore all of the bugs. However, over the past few months, I have been on the receiving end of all manner of abuse, harassment, bullying, homophobic abuse, sexual and racial slurs, culminating a few days ago with actual death threats… all instances reported to Support with extensive detail and screenshots, and all totally ignored with the standard “we take these reports seriously and have escalated the matter” Players using vulgar avatars (like actual vagina pictures with goggly eyes stuck on), having dozens of accounts, selling accounts… Players break any and all community guidelines and Terms of Service, and FunPlus ignores it all. This game is literally dangerous to peoples health. And FunPlus is obviously aware of this and refuses to take any action. FunPlus ignores it’s obligations under it’s own Terms of Service, which renders it liable for legal action. I sincerely hope that that doesn’t include wrongful death. I cannot more strongly encourage everyone to avoid this game.

Avatar constantly removed, Apparently my face is offensive. I have seen photos of naked butts, women in bikinis, men in speedos, shirtless men, even without their faces.. Overly provocative photos mostly of men and I can’t even upload a selfie if it shows my shoulders or collarbone as they get removed constantly and put in a 72 hour cooldown. Targeted much ? They’re not offensive, they’re a smiling selfie with nothing remotely provocative about them. I even tested it by putting a photo of a male up and it wasn’t removed but yet my photos get removed or ‘reported’ constantly and support blames the system that’s been put in place and are no help. Who knew my face could be so offensive. What a disgusting thing to do. Wouldn’t be surprised if I get block next.. They got their money out of me and have no regards to their customers issues.

Time. Reminds me of clash of clans, I love these types of games, where you can place buildings where you want and it doesn’t matter. But I have an issue, now. I remember one game had these same time skippers, it’s very nice, a bit different to clash of clans.. but it’s upgrade after upgrade after upgrade. I need to upgrade this to upgrade that and unlock a new area. These ridiculous games take over a year to finish. Which is normal for some games, but without the upgrades, you would finish it in a month. Other than that keep it up!

How to take away the fun of playing... get attack by someone with 10x ur power!!🤬. Have been playing for 57 days now and enjoying the game BUT I have seen 22 players from my alliance leave or become inactive ( we only had 45 when I started) because they were attack and destroyed by players at much higher level. Tonight just had a alliance player with 3.2 M in battle power be destroyed by another player with BP 32.5 M.... how the hell is that fair? The game already favours the top 20 alliances, why do they want to take away the fun this game could offer to those who just want to have a bit of fun? You need to lift your game SOS and make the game fun and fair for all... not just the top 20!!

It’s good.. Though the lines and dialogue are a bit stereotypical and I heard this disturbing piece where Maddie says she conflicted cause she saw this girl that had her school uniform and she didn’t know if she should feel happy that she’s free or sorry she’s a zombie. Bess or whatever even says “That is a tough one”. Well I know the answer. Yes. Very much yes. The minutes before she turned must’ve been agonising. she was bitten and chewed on and if not she still suffered extreme pain from the rapid on the move change to her biology. The fact you guys thought that was a good joke and not a disturbing Line showing how insane these people are is crazy. But other than that good game. Been avoiding it for months since I’ve given up on these game types but I don’t really regret getting. Also please tone down the monetisation. You don’t need to be the second coming of EA.

Overall great game but there is a problem. After resetting the level of one of my instructors, the game automatically kicked out that instructor and changed it to a random hero. Even one of slots for special training has been removed with that instructor who automatically kicked out. So I lost slots for special training. Why is that? My original intention was to try the new menu out of curiosity, not changing instructor; because I didn’t want to waste my effort to level-up that instructor for better rally capacity. Now I don’t know how to undo this. The situation is a mess. I want my original instructor back. 😩😩 Otherwise I love this game. + I fixed this by removing all the heroes in the training area.. now i got proper rank of hero as a new instructor but im not sure if my slots are going to be back.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! Thought I’d try it but was thoroughly disappointed. I wanted to give the game a try, despite all the other negative reviews to see if I’d enjoy the game. But after downloading it and completing one task, my game crashed with a data error. Everything on my screen would display as id_name or other similar wordings. Everytime I completed a task it would crash with a data error prompting for me to either reconnect, or speak with support. If I chose to reconnect the prompt would disappear but then immediately come back. If I closed the prompt it’d do the same. If I contacted support… well… it’s hard to gather evidence of your issue when your game refuses to load said issue. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and got the same issues. My internet has no problems and my phone had plenty of space but yeah. I wanted to have fun but was kicked in the face with an error ridden disaster. I won’t be reinstalling this and I recommend no one else does either. Very disappointed. :(

Meh. If you don’t have a lot of spare cash do not download this game as it is extremely expensive. This is something that a lot of players have made complaints about to the developers which has landed on deaf ears! The so called “packs” are not money for value at all. If you are a free to play (f2p) player, it will take you months to upgrade your legendary heroes as you have to wait till you gather enough resources for the upgrade of 1 hero. As for upgrading buildings, doing research and farming plots, this will also take quite some time to complete enough resources for the said upgrades. Some of the upgrades for the “badges “ “chief gear” etc, you can only get in buying packs. Again not money for value! You will end up at a certain point in the game being a f2p, thus you will end up playing a zombie farming game. BORING! So I implore you, save your money and your time and NOT download this game! Just keep on scrolling past!

Good game, but do not expect any help from support. I have been playing this game for more than 2 years and the recent migo world event has shown the level of support and care for their players. Overall it is a fun game, but if u ever have any trouble with this game, forget any sort of help from the support. Despite no announcements from the game, the developers will happily change requirements as per their fancy and when u get in touch with them to try to resolve ur problems, they will happily show u the door. Poor customer support and lacking empathy for players (i cannot stress enough not to spend ur money on this game. There are far better games that actually treat u well with the amount of hours and money u put in).

This game is great. I love this game because it’s great quality. It’s also not packed with ads. Another reason is, it isn’t just fight and kill it has a story. As you are playing and about to fight it tells you if it’s worth it or not.i love this game because it keeps me waiting for the next mutation or level up. I look forward to playing this game in the future, I haven’t got far into the game so I don’t know how great it is further into the game but so far it fantastic

What has happened to alliance store. Overall, this is a fun game. And you can make progress without spending too much money. But they have COMPLETELY stuffed the alliance store in the new states. No more stocking the store! Now it is a random offering the rarely includes items you need. No relocators, other than the random one, of which you get multiple offerings in one go. Only 2 hour shields! Devs, you have so muffed it. How people are meant to get to bunkers etc and back is a mystery to me, not to mention CC and SvS. We just won’t participate, and get zeroed because we can’t shield ourselves! Dead state after dead state! WHEN IT ASKS WHICH STATE TO JOIN, JOIN AN OLDER ONE!

Account stolen and no way to get it back. I left the game 2023. I can no longer login. What was once a max acc being looked after by a trusted friend it now has been taken and because I don’t have “recent” enough transactions support won’t give it back. Nevermind that the account was setup and played and brought packs in Australia and from what I hear from old alliance members it’s being played by a Russian. Don’t have access to vip discord anymore and the contact I had there won’t reply. Don’t waste your time anyway because unless you have members like I was that have the cash to pump into the game, you’ll be a free target as a free to play player. If an account that was a year ago one of the strongest in the state and easily capable of running through competition in state vs state competitions can easily be defeated now an average free to play account will have a hard time.

Not what it seems. I downloaded this game from an add which promised me the Lucky hero plus treasure. I didn’t receive any of them and have since found out this is the case with a lot of players. I thought it was a zombie game but it is more manipulated towards power at any cost and that means destroying other players. To start with I really enjoyed the challenge of building up my own settlement and the excitement of getting new heroes. I still enjoy the game but I don’t want to join an alliance and attack everyone, if it wasn’t for a monthly event that I really like I would probably delete, that is if some alliance doesn’t wipe me out first. If you are into power games and spending money this would be a good game for you. Also there is no game support available and you pretty well have to figure things out yourself. A pity cause it could be a good game. I have since joined an alliance and am still playing, you don’t have to attack other players if you don’t wish to.

Avoid like the plague!. After 1052 days of play, what started out as a fun, engaging, community based game, has become a boring cash grab by developers. Every month there are new features which not only cost many, many thousands of dollars to max, but they further break the game and exponentially grow the gap between the Uber-whales and the low/mid spenders let alone the F2P players. Right now anybody other than the high spenders can be monstered by the whales. Events are stale and repetitive, most of which are just reskinned versions of old events. They are generally of low interest, rewards are complete trash and do nothing to correct the imbalances the new features introduce. You can happily play for about 1 year, after which the real crunch occurs and they know they’re likely to stay because of the personal connections you form in the process, but don’t let them fool you, the sting quickly follows… Devs have no concept on how to build a gamer community and their customer service is non-existent - most help tickets are responded to by somebody who doesn’t even understand what you’re contacting them about and usually contains a platitude of some sort, then they just close the ticket with no resolution. I’ve stayed for the people but have finally realised that I don’t need this rubbish dump of a game to do that.

Better than expected. The title says my opinion I honestly thought this game and nothing but open your wallet here and open your wallet there however this far and through my couple days playing so far yes they have been options to pay your way but they’re no essential Which makes it a worthwhile game in my opinion because the story is good the graphics are actually pretty nice and it’s going a lot of interesting features that I consider will make this game continue to grow

$6k for over 2 years, never enough. I tried my best, even maxing out my credit card sometimes, even at the cost of quality time with friends and family, just for the sake of in game friends, it’s never enough I guess it’s time for us to realize that this is no clash of clans, in this game it’s impossible to get stronger without spending thousands PS You ain’t a whale you ain’t winning, I knew some people in my state who spend 3-5k a month but it’s never enough Whales from other states spend twice that amount, some even redraw from their home loans, it’s never enough Been on a server which never saw any state victory for over 2 years, until the mergers came, too little too late, been demanding it for so long, but devs ignored and keep on opening new servers. Sorry I have to quit without saying goodbye

P2W + fake ads. The game does a lot to keep you invested early on, but later you will realise the flaws. I grinded to 14 mil power, so I know. This game is a huge money sink. Game devolves into x has more power than y, therefore x wins. minimum strategy. Biggest clans (pay to win clans) on the server will control everything and everyone. You will just have to sit there and watch your smaller alliance burn to the ground because you are massively outranked. The gameplay is literally upgrade simulator. Gameplay in the mobile advertisements is the fakest thing I’ve ever seen.. lying like that shouldn’t even be allowed. Devs really need to make the game fairer for smaller alliances, add more strategy that isn’t just “I have more power than you, I auto-win”.

Needs bugs fixed. The game is good and all, but it crashes multiple times in minutes. Evening changing it from 60fps to 30fps did nothing to stop it crashing. It happens anytime/all the time. As soon as it needs to think; babaaaaaam. Also, can you change the limit of stamina? Build a gym or something where troops can train but also increase your stamina limits. But please please please fix the crashing issue!!!!!! Sort that out and I’d be happy to give you 5 stars!

Best game ever. I’ve played for 545 consecutive days & have multiple active accounts. Never had any problems with customer service. They are responsive & respectful. The game has a fantastic discord channel so if you’re not sure go check it out. No I’m not a mod or employee of any kind. I just love this game. I am a f2p player who does occasionally buy some bundles. This game is so generous in rewards that if you do your daily missions & play the team activities you can grow without buying everything. Yes, it does take longer. It’s a game that requires you to think, negotiate, builds team skills & you meet great people from all over the world. I’ve written this review because I’m tired of all the negative comments. You can’t accidentally buy anything in the game unless you have your personal settings wrong for your purchasing anywhere. No one touch buyin. You bought & didn’t like. Bad luck. If you want to enjoy & actively play a great game try it for yourself!

Good game but marred by help support. Overall this is a good and highly complex game. Veteran players help newer ones which always is good. It’s is addictive and has many ways to pull you into the game at all hours of the day - beware of that. However despite playing for months, I am very disappointed at the bugs in game and the very poor support from the helpdesk. I purchased a bundle, it did not arrive. The help desk did not respond so I requested a refund from Google which was approved. Now the SOS game applies a penalty to my account for something I never received saying I have to pay that before I can buy more in game. The helpdesk have said they cannot reverse this penalty charge. To me that is immoral. I paid for something which was not received. I got a refund. Now the company tells me I have to pay them for something not received before I can buy more. Overall very disappointed. The game is spoilt by the drive to make money. I’d recommend the game otherwise but beware; the helpdesk are not helpful and the game has many addictive qualities.

Great game, terrible customer service. I’ve been playing this game for nearly a year and accidentally brought a few packs in my farm account and contacted customer service to request to have them transferred to my main, which I will add, I have spent a very considerable amount of money on. I accidentally used the vip points when collecting the daily drop out of habit and was told in order to replace them from the pack I could use bios in the vip store by the customer service rep. Except that by doing that it automatically added them to my vip points and not back into my backpack as they were needed in order to make the transfer. I was also told I’d need to replace 160 badge tags into my backpack, however these items are never displayed there and I have 1000 sitting under chief gear. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement after nearly a week of backwards and forwards with customer service and being told miss information and continually reminded that if I don’t magic the vip points back (or spend more money to replace them) within 7 days my request wouldn’t be facilitated. Something small like this on what was a genuine mistake on my behalf of not realising what account I was in leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It’s the little things like this that keep gamers like myself happy and spending, but happy I am not.

Game issues.. So from what I can tell all the same issues r still happening and nothing is being done about it and it’s the same generic response we’re sorry but our team is trying it’s best and that just isn’t good enough anymore. I left this game about 7 months ago after playing, spending and getting on everyday for over 2 years ago now for the exact same reasons. Nothing was ever fixed or replaced. This game will take all ur money quick enough but will take a eternity to get ur resolutions fixed. I came back in to c if it was worth downloading again and a different game and yet it’s the same game with the same issues. Save urself the heartache and defeat and download something else worth spending ur money on.

Extremely greedy company ruins a fun game. I’ve played this game for over a year now and only continue to do so because of my alliance. Still, I reconsider my choice to continue playing pretty much every time I log in. Each new event introduces a new predatory mechanic. The current minigame, Feeding Frenzy, has levels that are intentionally impossible to win and the undo tokens cannot be purchased with the premium currency, only real money. The recurring event Lights & Colours is a bingo board of tasks where you cannot complete the board without paying money. The company brings out these new events and ways to squeeze money out of its players while ignoring feedback. For example, there is STILL no ‘claim all’ option for daily tasks. This would be a major quality of life update that saves people 20ish taps a day! It would be so easy to implement and currently I am unmotivated to complete daily tasks (read: play the game for any amount of time) because of things like this. I will not pay money for this app unless serious changes are made. I love the community I’ve met through this game and I was thrilled that the Heroes Search gacha isn’t really a major feature of the game, but unfortunately the game more than makes up for this in equally greedy measures.

Customer isn’t always right for this developer. Customer support is non-existent or set to auto-reply. Several alliance members have had problems after updates and yet to see any actual help. Missing troops they’ve spent real world money on, inability to log on to their account properly are just a few of the major issues my alliance members have. And still have. Months later. All they get is a template style reply. Considering how much money you (as a customer) actually put into a game like this (because believe me, this is not a free game if you want to compete in anything) you would think they could hire some actual staff who work to look after their customers and fix the problems. This ineptitude and inattention will have you feeling frustrated and bored. If you’re going to play this game (because it can be fun) just don’t spend money in game or you could be their next victim.

Very bad customer service. I have been playing this game for ages. Met a lot of nice people and if you have the money to spend it’s a good game. Been spending quite a bit but I was not getting the items that I was buying since an update. Told customer service and they where not helpful at all. They fixed up the last three purchases and that was it. Customer service just ignored everything else. They brushed off the bug I reported and basically told me too bad. For a game that relies on they’re players to fund them it’s really bad. If you can stay away or at least don’t buy anything. The customer service reps needs new jobs u think because they are really bad at it.

Only one issue!. Games awesome, only issue I have is I can grind everyday for anywhere up to 1-2 weeks upgrading/training all my troops but if my defence falls once I loose all power gained within that time. Very frustrating to be putting in so much time and work to just lose it all so easily. Also to get back registerd troops to replace the fallen takes unnecessarily long and it restricts me from playing the game for days sometimes which is very frustrating. Overall good game though can’t get enough 👍

Every day. The games good repetitive but good the thing is though you have to come on every single day so you don’t get infected which is really annoying and I you can’t always do like I am going on a camp soon for three days and no technology is allowed I have worked so hard and I am a really high level but all you progress is going to be gone because of the zombies it is so annoying I am going to have to delete the game because of that soon but I can’t get my account back because I don’t know my password so I hate it

In-game purchase fail - customer service lacking. I love this game but recently attempted to make a couple of in-game pack purchases. My account was charged but the packs were never credited to my account. I submitted a ticket straight away, a few days later they got back to me asking for screen shots, which I then submitted. A week on since sending the screen shots they had made no further contact with me, so I sent a couple of messages to find out the progress, they eventually wrote back saying they were really busy and had many issues to resolve and then closed my ticket without resolving the issue. I have since creating another ticket for the same issue to seek having the issue resolved (either reimbursement of the money or credit my in-game account with the missing packs), yet another 4 days on and I still haven’t heard from them. This issue has been ongoing for two weeks and I still haven’t received proper support or a resolution. Money has been spent, items have not been received…. Please resolve the issue.

Pay to win- DONT DOWNLOAD unless you plan to spend. I’ve been playing from when the game launched. I have finally quit and deleted it. It’s as simple as this, if you don’t spend big money you simply cannot be successful in the game. It’s that simple. The game is engineered to make you spend. The devs just keep adding new levels as a blatant cash grab and rely on people being stupid enough to keep spending. I understand it’s a business, but the amount of money required is in the thousands and completely unjustified. A good game requires skill, this game requires money. A balance between spenders and free to play with skill being a major factor makes for a good fair game. Free to play players are required to make this game work and they are just getting screwed. Final statement, Don’t download this game, the devs are just plain greedy and only care about generating income. At least try and be a bit more subtle about it! Update to developer response: I mentioned nothing about in game payments, your response is just copy and paste rubbish. All the 5 star reviews for this game a 2 or three words, fake, unverified. It’s so obvious. Absolutely rubbish game, rubbish support. Do not download.

It’s actually really good. I love it heaps and I’ve never really played a game like it, I’m still getting used to it but I absolutely love theirs options for everything, you don’t have to wait days to progress you can always do something and you can speed up the timers which is just so good, it is a little bit confusing to understand but I’m getting there!! I love how much this game company cares about their players ❤️❤️

For anyone who wants to play this game. Sincerely advice DO NOT do it. The game has the worst developer team. Always sending out misleading information about events. For example in the billboard they said the event end by today but they will end the event by yesterday for no reason. They literally did not give any reason for doing any change. The support team does not exist. When you actively report any issue to them they don’t respond you at all. Not even a “sorry we will work it out”. They offer you every chance to spend money but they don’t care if you gain your reward or not. If you have spare money for the game. Please do not spend cause you are just a cash cow for them. You will get 0.

It’s a good strategic game. The open world the creativity of the game is very enjoyable the downside for me is you’ve got to be quick on your feet with this game and with games i like to take my time but with this game you don’t get that option which is a little disappointing and frustrating at the same time the infection breach is not very immersed into it and that’s where my frustration comes in is the infection breach you don’t need a infection breach to make a game more ENJOYABLE than what it already makes it out to be that being said if i had to overall rate this in general it’s a 5.5/10 it’s enjoyable but disappointing

I love this game. State of survival is so fun and I’ve only just got it since I’ve got it I don’t want to have to get off it. You get to have fun killing zombies and expanding a barrier between the zombies and you. While your in the game you get to make builds like hospitals and training spaces and as the levels get higher the game is way more fun. To me personally I really love this game and K think that others would love it to so I would really recommend getting this game. Thank you to the amazing creator for this really fun game.

Incompetent MODs. I’ve been playing SoS for almost two years now. I’m one of your pioneer players and I’m half way to completing VIP 12. Recently, I’ve contacted the in game support and asked them to help me with my issues on Christmas Wish event. Three MODs contacted me and each one of them gave me their apologies for not replying soon. I got reply from each one of them after almost 48 hrs. But, none of them truly helped me with my issues and made me even more confused with their replies. My issues are still on hold and I still have an open ticket but the event has already ended. And up to now, no one is giving me the answers to my questions and all I get are apologies from them for not replying soon. So, I told them that I’m disappointed in them for being incompetent. And after that, my game started getting Data Error every 5 seconds and I couldn’t even play the game properly now because I have to Reconnect the game every time it gives me Data Error. That’s how they treat you when they don’t like your reaction to their incompetence. And may I remind you that I’m one of the pioneer players of this game. In my opinion, this game will only be as good or as bad as the kind of MODs you hire or as to what kind of services you give.

Good game/ need more buildings. It’s a really good game and I love zombie games where you build your own settlement but tbh it’s kinda boring once you’ve unlocked all the buildings. Would be nice to have some more buildings (houses, power plants, office buildings,fire/ambulance station) just stuff to make it more of a city type settlement would be cool. Would love to have different skins for other buildings too like The hospital, to have a building rather then a tent. Would be cool too if you could have like emergency services or something as well. But overall great game love it. Just hope we get some new buildings and stuff soon.

BEWARE. Beware this game is both a gift and a curse but day by day, update by update this game is losing its ‘shine’ & the negatives are stacking up thus outweighing the positives heavily. Basically you will start the the game for the novelty of the game & then you may end up staying in the game for years all for the people. All for these devs to find more ways to steal your money & possibly even putting up with some serious emotional, mental,(or pvp) bullying from fruit loops who feel high and mighty in the game. The events that once you were excited for repeat beyond end and get dull and boring. Want to know average cost to max their Behemoth feature? £35K!! What’s worse is you may spend some serious coin all for the game bugs to screw you out of some reward. Will they offer correct compensation? No. Beware of that which comes from installing the game. Their newest updates will have thousands no doubt millions quitting the game.

Needs Improvement. Developers of this game make changes with little to no testing first, throwing ‘improvements’ at its players with little regard to their enjoyment or preference. The new march settings make the game very unenjoyable. It takes too long to join a rally and setting troops to join is now a much lengthier and more tedious process. So far they ignore all player requests to roll it back to how it was prior to their ‘improvement’. Additionally, their newer states are nothing but a money grab. Now that R5s can’t ‘stock’ the alliance store, every player has their own alliance store in which to buy items such as advanced teleports, alliance teleports, and talent resets but the store is completely random and does not give u enough teleports and resets. Often ur either stuck on war or economy talents and have to use biocaps to change. Or you’re stuck at base unable to teleport to bunkers because you only have ONE teleport to get you there and none to get back or you have none at all!! Of course you can use ‘biocaps’ again if u are p2p. Another UNWELCOME ‘improvement’.

No 777 free draws and no legendary heroes. Hi the game itself is really good and addictive, my only problem so far is that when I downloaded the game using the proper link , I was supposed to get the 777 free draws and the 2legendary heroes lucky and (the other name I forgot) but I don’t get them in game . Please can the team or a Mod help me out so that I can get these . Also pretty sure a few other ppl are having the same issue as well so this answer could resolve their query as well Thanks Got a msg from Karlo in game which was really helpful, gave but I’m still waiting for the issue to be resolved . Loving the game so far

The customer service is appalling. I have an in game glitch where my HQ is level 14 and I haven’t been able to upgrade the building Intel post. The building in question does NOT have an upgrade button. On top of that, when I press the intel button on the building it takes me straight to the radar to find infected mobs. When you press this button on the building it is meant to take you to the intel missions where you follow a story line and get rewards like epic hero fragments. So, I am lvl 14 with an intel post that cannot upgrade and an intel post that won’t let me access the intel missions. On top of ALL this, I opened a ticket to the customer service team hoping to get this resolved. I have been waiting 39 hours now for a response. In that time I have opened multiple tickets hoping to get a reply and so far.....nothing! I am on state 127 and my in game name is Setek. I would probably enjoy this game more if I could play it as it is intended. But, I am guessing if i do finally get a reply from customer support, they will just say that they’ve past it onto the developers and it is out of their hands and there is nothing that can be done. 5 days of game time put in that I won’t get back.

Game is so so.. The game is not to bad, some good events and graphics are pretty good…. BUT, things are way to expensive and geared more to p2p. Resetting talents is the most expensive I’ve seen in a game! Yes you can use alliance points but even that is expensive compared to what you earn donating. The packs are pretty good but they have way to many events to close together that you would be buying $50 worth of packs a day just to have a chance in the events otherwise you really do just miss out on good rewards in the events. Be prepared to lag behind if you are ftp player. Little things like you don’t get to see by what % you get when levelling up a talent it benefit's your game play. Recalling a squad will cost you and you don’t get any of these recalls in daily missions or anything, same with speed ups for troop marches, you do not get them enough in daily missions so they will cost you as well! There are games out there that already do these things and are on par with this game if not better.

Great graphics, but that’s about it...!. I read the reviews and thought that surely it cannot be that bad, but it is. It is probably the most blatant “pay to win” game I have experienced. The story line is average and you just seem to keep paying more money to achieve levels. You have to join an alliance or you cannot get past L10, unless you pay of course.... Once in an alliance you will get attacked time and time again, by other more powerful alliances, but I have yet to work out why? So people spend more time attacking each other than getting rid of zombies, which is the theme. Finally seen the light and deleted it.....

Disappointed. I have played this game for over a year now, and I have found you guys deliver the worst customer service for one, with no satisfactory solutions. The state merger that was the reason 90% of players are still in the game, has now been put to the back burner with new events released, has caused a lot of big players in my already dying state to quit. And we are not the only state this is happening to. I frankly do not think you care another your customers as long as you’re getting a good stream of money going into your pockets. This game could’ve been so much more, if we felt heard and listened to, instead of lied to.

Tried to contact mod & email, no reply wanted money!. So I was strong, but I could have been stronger if I could do foreign tip offs, intel, join rally’s. I had so many glitches inhibiting progress and I was reluctant to review poorly until now where I can not sign in. My friend can sign in just fine on my network right sitting next to me while I just get reconnection messages. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, made sure it’s updated. I have contacted mods about previous glitches, how to’s and now this glitch with no response. I have emailed them, yes this is a pay to win game and I paid some and all that’s lost. Quite frankly I am extremely annoyed, what a waste of my time and money. Why does no one contact me back? I want that money back since you can not give me my time back.

Issues. The game was alright till they focussed on pushing out lag based updates and server updates and now all it seems to do with high end connections and devices is just lag and freeze and drop out in connection where as it is as though all they are wanting to do is entice people to spend money in game without actually fixing the issues, it happens in numerous states where everyone is affected and it is now getting frustrating that I don’t blame any spenders to go through legal process which I can assist with to legally claim funds returned for faulty services that are actually deemed unusable and unacceptable in these situations as it’s at the stage no amount of updates is going to fix a server end when they can’t even function of upgrading it directly when such things get updated

Expensive and Full of regular bullying. The game graphics are awesome and the game play is great, BUT two issues: 1. You need to be prepared to spend LOTS of MONEY to get anywhere at a reasonable pace. 2. There are no limits on who you can attack. A L16 has no chance against a L 40. So that unless you spend money to avoid SLOWLY trying to build up (especially after L11), bigger alliances DESTROY everything you’ve PAINSTAKINGLY built up. You loose days of effective gameplay. It happens often enough and regularly enough that it feels like you and your NEW alliance is being RAP_ed and any money spent was just a waste. This game got two stars. No value for money at all.

Game becoming money grab. The game was fun when I first started playing 2 years ago.. even then the game was a money grab and it always has been but as time went on the devs have added so many different battle mechanics that involve paying money to be worthy enough to play and win every event. The prices of the bundles they offer are insane.. if you aren’t looking to spend $2,500 a day or even more to keep up as a rally leader or even to get close to some other players in this game, I wouldn’t bother playing. The game is also very laggy and glitchy. The devs rarely fix issues with lag and problems with how the game runs. I get multiple crashes and disconnects from the game constantly. I could go on about other issues with this game but that is basically how I feel about this game playing it for 2 years.

6 month player. Iv been playing for a little over 6 months this game has started stuffing up its not loading and u constantly need to upgrade not only upgrade but when you try to get into the game it continues to say upgrade resources even tho it’s upgraded it always wants to be upgraded more to the point you can’t even play the game I was a loyal player and paid abit of money as well on hero gear and other items for it to now start stuffing up what a joke It’s every day updates are added and everyday for the past week I havnt been able to use the game because of resource updates and upgrades that went even happening iv lost out on so much already I don’t really see the point in continuing

Good so far. Just started playing and am instantly hooked. Really fun to play and exactly like the ads. My only problem would be that the ad i watched and clicked on to download said i would claim the hero lucky and others if i downloaded from the ad and also gave me codes but i am unsure as to where to type the codes to claim the rewards on mobile. I googled where gift redemption should be and its not coming up for me in settings ?

More improvements. This game is so much fun but there should be a bird where you can do it first person perspective and kill zombies with 80 for the Mount of going to collect over missions there should be three slots with healing spot as well and this game is very excellent but I like games like this with surviving zombies attacks it is very fun in multiplayer section as well it just needs able to play at section as well overall I love this game but it could use one more character who is better than Sarge.

Beware of incorrect charges. Watch your purchases very carefully. They like to charge you for purchases that you haven’t made. I was charged for items I didn’t purchase and got a refund from Apple. Next day I received a message from devs threatening my account if too many refund requests were made. Well they don’t have to worry because they won’t be getting money from me anymore. Also for some events you are not given the rewards for completing certain conditions. After so many levels the grind is very slow and takes days and weeks to upgrade or research items unless you open your wallet. Be prepared to be bombarded continuously to make bundle purchases which gets really annoying. Definitely a pay to advance type of game.

Pay-to-win!. Most casual gamers never get competitive enough in these kind of games to hit the paywall. But the moment anyone does, you have to make the decision of dropping hundreds of dollars on a game where the developers spent nowhere near the effort and money that AAA developers put into their games. Except AAA developers usually only charge you once and it ranges between 50 and 80 dollars. No joke, if you want to be competitive with the top players, you have to spend as much as they do and they spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on the last 5 tiers of Chief Gear and the last tier of Hero Gear. The game would be fine otherwise if the free-to-play crowd could at least grind for that gear. But you just can’t, it must be bought. Like most P2W games, the casual gamer reviews do not reflect the reality for players that actually play the game This is not a 4 star game. It’s a 1 star game because Kings Group doesn’t allow a fair and balanced playing field. To add insult to injury, their occasional survey doesn’t mention pay-to-win as a possible issue players might hate about the game. So clearly they’re not interested in ever fixing the imbalance. Do yourself a favor and don’t download this game.

Scamming extra payments when purchasing packs. DONT TRUST THIS GAME SITE Several times now when purchasing a $6.99 pac I have also been charged for a $13.99 pac. Have messaged help desk multiple times and have not received credits.

Don’t play this game. I played this game for about 4 months. I enjoyed the game overall, it’s your typical pay to win game, they are always trying to get you to spend money. I purchased a few of their in app purchases which went fine. But, after one update I purchased another in app purchase and never received it. After 3-4 days of lip service from their support and absolutely NO response from the technical support I finally had to have Apple refund my money. So please read the other reviews that have also had issues receiving support for in app purchases.

Overcharging for purchases. I purchased a custom crate for $13.99 but when my credit card purchase alert came through on my phone, I was charged $63.22. I immediately submitted a ticket with customer service and it’s been several days now without a response to even acknowledge there is an issue or that they’ll look into this claim. Guess I’m making a claim with my CC company and not making anymore purchases in what otherwise is a pretty decent game

Money Hungry Developers. I’ve been playing this game for over a year. Can’t even tell you how much I’ve spent but well over $5,000. Unfortunately they just keep putting out more and more new things to force you to spend. The cost of the items you need is ridiculously high and most event are focused around spenders. If you want to actually stand a chance to participate or lead a rally, win bunker fights you need to spend thousands and every 3 months they keep putting out new heroes that make the ones you invested in before irrelevant for the big battles. They went from 30 HQ - to Plasma 3* HQ - to 5* HQ now 8* HQ and these plasma upgrades are insane amounts of plasma and the cost to buy it is not cheap. The game maybe give you 20 plasma a day by completing dailies and your intel. But to go from HQ 30 to full 1* plasma it costs 1,650 plasma…. A crate of 600 plasma is like $70. From 1* up to 2* costs 1,900 plasma, and to 3* costs another 2,970 plasma… and it only goes up so just think about the cost and time it takes. They keep updating the game to make us spend more and more money but have not updated the games events rewards to be applicable for older states. Every week they have bunker/facility fights with rewards that most players can’t even use anymore. It’s not even worth the teleport to go there or the resources used to heal to fight for them. Every other week they do Capital clash or Server vs Server. Again the amount you spend on biocaps, resources, speed ups, and teleports are not really worth the rewards. These events also also start at 10:00 UTC (universal time clock) so this means for people in other areas of the world you need to wake up at 4am or earlier to participate and it’s a 8hr event. Reasons people keep playing because you create bonds and friendships, you enjoy your alliance mates and overall community. Also you feel you already spent so much money it would be a waste to quit… but at the end really you will keep loosing money the longer you play and the sooner you quit the more you start to save yourself. This game really needs to: 1. UPDATE THE BUNKER/ FF REWARDS 2. Update the intel and dailies rewards give more plasma and newer gen hero fragments 3. Stop pushing out new updates and give players a chance to catch up and enjoy the process they made. 4. Fix all the lag and connection issues kicking people from the game, making the game crash trying to build a tower or reinforce someone. 5. Bring the older states store option to spend alliance currency to restock items we need like advance teleports and shields in the newer states. 6. Make the CC / SVS a rotated time or vote in 3 times like the Fortress fights. 7. Hero vouchers should carry over to the next release since the cost for the heroes change anyways there is no reason to leave us with vouchers we can no longer use. A couple here a couple there could all stack together and be used. 8. They should add in presets for micro healing for big events and more troop formation presets. 9. We need bigger resource tiles and more ways to get plasma and biocaps without spending. 10. People shouldn’t have to spend $1000 to get an HQ skin many other games sell fancy HQ skins for $20-60…. Maybe $100 for a really fancy one. 11. The peace flares should stack or have a longer time. If someone wants to go on vacation with family and take a week off they shouldn’t have to worry about getting zeroed. 12. Just stop being so greedy for money and actually care about the people investing into your game, be proud of the accomplishment and put in some efforts to fix up problems and appreciate your community.

New update sucks !!!!!. Change it back to the way it was. You’re going to lose a lot of players this way!

Worst game ever. The game has zero customer support. They offered gift codes recently. I redeemed them. I was saving all my in game material for upgrades and the in game currency for an event. Then after they sent those gift codes and some complained cause the gift codes were generous they took back what was given with the gift codes. In my case not only I lost the stuff I had redeemed from their gift codes but also the items and materials in my backpack that I bought with actual money of myself. The game is filled with bug and the spending feature is very predatory. You only win if you spend. Do not download this game. Even though I asked apple for a refund cause my actual hard earned money was lost and I received nothing in return they refused to refund me. This is horrendous stay away.

Good twist on a Terrible genre. This game is similar to all the other build food train troops and attack people games but with a twist. This game has an actual good story and playable missions that really make the game a new step in the right direction, and I hope the devs will continue work on this so that it can get even better. the best part is that the ads aren’t misleading

Fun game!!. Saw this game in an ad, so I gave it a try. So far I’m really enjoying it! Only disappointing thing was the ad said id get a free legendary hero for downloading but you have to make a purchase first in order to get her. But other than that game is fun if your into building and strategy.

Money theft at it’s best!. This game takes advantage of weak minded people who need to feel accomplished and are willing to pay literally thousands of dollars for ranking in an imaginary world. It is full of glitches and the developers don’t even bother to compensate when you are victimized by their glitches unless you are a big spender. I personally experienced this on more than one occasion. The most recent issue was when the game wouldn’t show the daily check in, I updated and checked ios was latest but still nothing. A day later it shows up but I had to spend 10,000 biocaps in each account to “make up” the missing check in. I reported it and they said they will look into it and apologized but then closed the case with no explanation or refund of my stolen resources.

Storage. This game is a storage hog been playing for over a week and so far I am at 6.5 gigs this the most I seen from games on App Store. Can you slim it down thanks

What a joke.. Still getting random crashes from the game, they did get better for a short while. Don’t spend $ they keep moving the goal line ( level 30hq was max then came 3stars (lv33) and now we are on 5stars(lv35)), and won’t do anything for you when you tell them about problems in game. Also they have increased how much it takes to get plasma(needed for upgrading building with stars 31-35 currently) I always get a template response from customer service which never addresses the problems. This is a pay to play game don’t be fooled. The only reason I am still playing is because of my alliance members. They recently released an update with several issues, then had to release a update for the update less than 24 hours later and it’s not even in the store yet and this isn’t even the first time this has happened.

Avoid this game. Charged incorrectly. I purchased some roulette chips in game for $6.99 and I was charged $55.34. I filed a ticket in game and submitted all information requested. Customer support keeps on using template responses that asks me for the same time. I asked what was I missing and they provided another set of instruction for pretty much the same. After days of waiting, the gave me a reply saying the items are spent and basically called me a liar. Watch your payments careful. I do not trust this game anymore.

Loading. After the new update it loads the main screen then after that it freezes and I can’t play the game I rebooted my iPad twice and still the same...can’t play

Zero support. It’s great, because there’s people who bully you in game, and then nothing you can do about it! Because support offers no help! How fantastic! Report it to your state governor? Who do you think the bully is?! Super bad attitude by 98% of the players. Also, the game is essentially unplayable due to bugs.

This game is insulting games. I get a notification it is in a different language I am a Canadian .help person disappears often. there is glitches in the game .It is too long to get to stanchion from Stanchion . If that was not in the game it would be a 10 out of 10 game

They cheat you. Game is fun; however, they frequently cheat you on purchases. Often you don't get bonuses when you purchase a pack...when you try to get tech support to look into it, they seem clueless. From my perspective tech support doesn't even play game as they appear to know not much about it.

False ads. After seeing the ads for the millionth time I figured “why not”. Downloaded the game, it’s ok. The ads give 3 codes you can redeem for “tons of resources” “10 legendary heroes in 777 draws” great odds right? “Lucky2022”, “Nanami2022”, and “Treasure2022” are the codes. You apply the codes and get the rewards by in-game mail…. ok, now I have 3 messages labeled with gift boxes…. great so far so good. Opened the messages and got disappointed right away, only 20k of each resources (vs the quoted millions as per the ads) and NO HEROES…. zero…. no legendary and not even basic ones. And the icing on the cake was seeing an in-game pop up that features one of the “ad promised” heroes as rewards for first in-game purchase!! Really? If this is not false advertising I don’t know what is…. Seriously folks, save your time and money. Play other games

If I see one more add..... I really wish I didn’t have to see anymore adds. They are annoying and grossly over s*xual. It taps into the younger audience that are curious and it’s disgusting. On top of that the adds are misleading showing you that it is an RPG but in reality it’s just another build a city game with “LIMITED TIME OFFERS”. I’m just fed up with the targeted advertising that games like this produce. Show the actual features that are in the game rather than what you want people to see. Other wise it shows that the game isn’t good enough to play.

Pay to win. The game itself is not bad but once you reach high level you hit pay walls. If you don’t pay you can’t compete. If you want to pay you will pay. It would cost me $540.00 just to upgrade my gear once (there are two more upgrades after that). And that’s just chief gear, not taking into account heros and hero gear. Rediculous.

Socially disturbing. Never have I seen a game so rampant with online bullying, favouring those who spend the most money with no checks or balances to prevent abuse. Many states live in fear of the highest ranking group, usually the ones who spent the most money. Most statewide events are worthless, dominated by these groups. Only way to truly participate is to match their spending. Never know when you are going to wake up with all your hard work destroyed because someone in your alliance disagreed with them and they retaliate against the whole group. Everyone walking on eggshells, a true real life dictatorship. Adults, know what you are getting into and never let your kids play. I could only imagine the harm that would cause.

Bullied by High Level Player. I really enjoyed this game and didn’t mind grinding and paying for supplies. It’s taken me awhile to realize that one high level player has been attacking my lower level settlement over and over again. Last night I just realized that the rewards of all the grinding I’ve been doing for over a month were in the messages, reports, so I happily collected them all. I felt dumb for not knowing they were there all along, but was thrilled that I could grow. Along the way I’ve also made several in app purchases for supplies. Well, color me SHOCKED when I signed in today to see that almost ALL OF MY RESOURCES WERE GONE! I looked in the battle log to see what happened and that’s when I saw it, a high level player name AHA, has been attacking my settlement consistently. I just never notice much was missing because I never had much. So I grind and spend real $$ on this game only do a big time player can come take it all. And then…oh this is rich…and then this game offers to let me buy a booster package, or whatever they call it to help replenish my lost goods!!! AM I BEING PUNKED?? Well, no more. Don’t waste your time or money with this app. It should be named “State of a Rip Off”!

Addicting. When I first started playing this game idk what I was doing. Lol I’m not a gamer at all but I seen this as a challenge and I’m glad I kept at it! I have meet so many people all over the world! I like you get to join alliances and fight together! This game is based off strategy. There are a lot going on all at once so it can me overwhelming at times. If you are a free to play person don’t expect to go far in this game as this game is meant for someone who is willing to spend the dough! Some of the packages are expensive and before you know it you’ve spent a few hundred dollars! That’s the Only down side! But when you are able to join a alliance they will help you and give you advice on what to upgrade and when to get the best out of your fragments, gear, badges and hero’s! I’ve been playing for almost 150 days now and when I tell you I look forward to getting on and playing with my teammates. Happy burning 😂

Suggestion for upgrade times. So far I have truly enjoyed this game very much as it has been one of the few games where I decided not to delete because the resources and bonus items were too hard to acquire unless you were on the game almost every minute of the day. This game is very generous and I hope that does not stop as it is one of the main reasons why I love this game. I do feel that the upgrading times may get eventually too long and will not motivate people to upgrade their buildings to reach higher battle powers. I believe that the HQ building should have a maximum of a 2-3 day waiting period while it upgrades because waiting a week for only one upgrade feels a little ridiculous. I feel like other buildings should also have maximum time limits for upgrades that eventually reach over 2 days because it’ll become less fun to upgrade every time and get stronger to participate in the events.

Awful support. I normally don’t review but this game has really chapped me. It’s a great game, I have spent hundreds of days and more in money on this game and play it daily still. I have no issues with the game itself but rather the company. This game like every other game now days has micro transactions, I purchased them for months now with no issues. Last week however I spent my $50 for a few packages of gear parts and did not receive them. I contacted support and was told it can take up to 24 hours. They said if I had not heard back by then to contact them again. I waited and waited and didn’t get anything in game so I reached out again and was left with silence. I then let them know I would be requesting a refund and I reached out to Apple who issued the refund within a day. I was then contacted 2 days later by support letting me know that any future packages I purchased would be held until I had spent the $50 with them again. They are stealing from the player base and Apple allows it to happen. Once again the game is great but read online before you spend money I am not alone in this their are plenty of people in the same position as me. I will not be spending any more money with them and the account is now in my eyes useless.

Way more fun than I expected. From the ad I saw, I just thought it was going to be a sort of tower defense style game. It is in some aspects, but there’s really a lot going on in this game. There’s plot and storyline, interesting characters, and a large variety of tasks. There’s also worldbuilding, alliances, and of course there’s the combat which is fun as well. While there are a lot of of elements the game makes it easy to figure out what’s going on by making innovative tasks and goals. There’s also an interesting function where townspeople ask you little trivia questions about gameplay which help make sure you understand what’s going on (if you get them right you get a reward!). I thought I would just download as a way to pass the time but it’s honestly very great. Also while I haven’t had the game long, I haven’t felt like the game is “pay to play” as many games like this are. Now as I continue maybe that will change, but for now I am greatly enjoying it.

Unacceptable deception. A real review. Yet another world based alliance game that blatantly lies about free draws/character no matter how hard they try to cover it up. There’s even an ad that has “fans” faking them out for lying which they immediately do in the same ad. After a couple days of playing and searching for answers you’ll hear that you need to get to command level 6 to have it unlock which isn’t true at all since nothing pops up or activates. You’ll end up getting a single piece of the hero lucky instead of actually acquiring her. It’s all a giant lie that's been played out over and over again since the dawn of mobile gaming. It’s deeply saddening and upsetting that these mobile companies get away with these awful business practices and routinely deceit their audience while Apple counts their percentage without a care in the world. Disheartening to see so many fake reviews or whale players preaching it’s great. Apple and all of these awful companies don’t deserve a dime out of the millions they’ve cheated out of millions of people. Seeming like the mobile market will never improve from this awful state we’re in especially when they advertise it as a 5 star top game regardless of their practices

Customer support hates free to play. Would love to rate this game lower than a one star if possible.... a half star? A 0 star? Probably doesn’t even deserve that. The servers lag all day every day. The updates cause more lag and game crashes thats as bad as when Bethesda updates a game. Secondly, if you don’t spend real money on the game, you probably won’t enjoy it as people who do spend real money will always be beating you. Third, EVEN if you do play without spending money, customer support won’t help you because you don’t help them make money. Being that I play free to play, I’ve had several transactions go through that were never fixed and I lost items, even when I had screenshots to prove my case, they didn’t care and said I got them anyway. Lastly, they are always added more stuff, but everything they add to the game is solely intent on causing in game conflict, and making you spend real money for the game to be successful or even be able to just not be attacked and lose all day every day. Best pull out ya wallets and ya pockets and spend some of that cold hard earned cash burnin a hole in your pocket if you wanna be good and play this game.

They don’t honor your in game purchases. They advertise one thing for in game purchases and then send out messages after you purchased saying they won’t honor what you bought from them and they are changing what they are giving you to things nowhere of equal value. They have taken up to 2 weeks to respond to a help ticket that was time sensitive. They also will answer tickets saying you are lying when providing screenshot proof of what happened and immediately close the ticket making you start all over, not allowing you a chance to reply. It usually takes a month to get to someone who takes you seriously. This is not acceptable in a game where everything done in the game is time sensitive. Their failure to honor purchases and their failure to respond timely really sets you back - and this is all done on purpose because they figure you will spend more to reach the achievement you want while waiting or because they won’t do anything about it anyway. The devs for this game are a joke. For how much money this game brings in for them, I would expect a higher number of staff to meet the needs of their customers, as well as a much better trained staff.

Great game, except for the bullying. As many other reviewers have pointed out, those players who spend money, have a significant advantage. A top spender can wipe out a f2p player with a few attacks or rallies. This has resulted in the state that I’m part of going from having about 30 active, competitive alliances, down to about a quarter of the active players and only 4 competitive alliances. The big spenders go on war parties weekly to “get resources” from the smaller f2p players. So many of the f2p players have left due to the constant attacks and inability to move ahead in the game due to their troops and resources being wiped out, that the state is dying. If the developers could establish a coding solution to give some protection to the smaller players, it would make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Something like increasing troop losses for attacking a player more than 20m bp below you, or 2 below you in VIP level. Something! If this doesn’t happen, more people will leave. Then the game will purely be about which players can spend the most. You’ll end up with a few whales, and no one else bothering to join.

So addicting and fun!. State Of Survival is probably the top mobile game I’ve ever played! It has fun and interactive gameplay and NO annoying advertisements! You can see that it took the ppl that made it so long and hard to make. It’s detailed to the last smidge. It has a very cool story with different characters that are some of the people that survived as the main characters and they have voices so they talk and it’s super cool when they do. And you can also rescue a bunch of people and train them to fight against monsters and creatures, you can unlock so many levels too. And play with real people and chat with them and become allies! With the allies you can send them troops and help them with building and fighting, and they can help you too! You and your friend could be allies and be neighbors and help each other out! ( I think I said “and” so many times and I’m sorry) All in all, this is a AMAHAZEeEEEING GAME

2.5 year player here. I’ve been playing this game since December of 2020. I’m a plasma 9 with T12s, so I promise my review is genuine. The game was super fun the first couple of years. But within the last 6-9 months, players HAVE to spend a ton of money just to keep up with the game. My P5 spends $30-$50 THOUSAND USD per year and he’s still constantly fighting to be the top BP in the state. It leaves people like me who only spend a couple hundred per month at a huge disadvantage. Not to mention if you don’t pay at all, you will not succeed in the game period. The Developers have to make a crap ton of money from this game, I don’t understand why they are so greedy but they’ve turned this game into a cash cow. Until they tone it back a bit, I refuse to spend any more money on this game. Which means I will most likely fall quickly in power in my state, but it is what it is. Play at your own risk, but know that you will never be a strong player unless you live in Korea (the developers make purchases for Korea cheaper compared to everywhere else globally, and constantly give out free codes for Korean only players).

Complete Money Pit. This game is only for those willing to throw thousands of dollars into it. The upgrades are relentless, the daily tasks take ALLL day long to do which means you have NO life…EVER! If you want to keep up with game. Anyone who played Game of War Fireage like myself many years ago when that game came out and became ruined…well this game is exactly like GOW only worse. The support in SOS is terrible, the packs are expensive with not enough to upgrade ever, game is glitchy at best of times…and not to mention numerous toxic trolls and slags and hackers…if you have a child playing this game then parents you need to monitor their game all the time. Game support is useless. I would give this game zero stars but it wont let me. You will nver keep up with this game if you do not spend thousands. Anyone who still plays this game and pours money into it is either a) complete idiot or b) has absolutely no life, or c) both. If you have never played it…dont start…there are much better games out there that are not money pits. I quit playing this game 2 years ago and glad for it and wrote this review now because I am shocked it has the rating it has. It does not deserve the rating it has…trust me…you will be disappointed if you play it.

Bait and Switch. Game started out good for a P2P based construct. There were, and still are, some issues like an incredibly horrible translate system, overly sensitive censoring system (can’t actual see words like assume, mistaken, weekend, etc) even in alliance chats or PMs. Now, with their third attempt of a an update in less than 2 days, the developers changed a system of items that are largely purchase only without warning. Usually no issue, however, up until the moment before the update they were selling packs with the soon to be replaced items. And yep I purchased them. I did get some items Im return but it does not change that I made a purchase of something offered based on desire to grow The devs are out of touch and worry more about the money making aspects than fixing things like lag, stability, and yes the translate function. Three weeks ago I would have given 4* and a great review, now I refuse to support the game. I would move on if your looking for a game like this. Best wishes developers and owners. Yet again you have failed to hear the players voices, concerns, ideas and are going to kill the game quicker than the normal game of this type and size.

Fun. Great time pass or buffer for another wait time game. Mini missions killing zombies and alliances. What’s not to loveeeeeee. People you rescue will teach you things as well as your alliance. There’s an open world chat with a translator as well. For most part people are chill can be mean to noobs and you can get your occasional creep. But just don’t chat or report the player. Most part those like I said people are chill. Been playing for a few days still trying to figure out everything. They offer a lot and don’t have to pay to play. Graphics are cool and load times aren’t a major. Can be fun solo and with friends/family. I do recommend this game based on the missions and not pay to play. There is daily rewards and things to keep busy as you wait for your base and troops to upgrade or train. Fun fun fun thanks these are my personal opinions and I did get a reward for this review. It’s nothing crazy just a simple thanks in game play. You can play at your own pace and not rush through things.

Well it’s been over a year…. I didn’t write a review at first because I’ve played plenty of games like this. Though this one has more conversations with its players and developers via discord, there’s many things ignored. As players, we’ve given what we want or need constantly and yet every update has things we never asked for or wanted. You manage your settlement, your heroes, your chief. The best part of the game, is finding an alliance you connect well with. I’ve made some of the best friends and family, and they are the only reason I haven’t stopped playing. Our state is dying and quickly. Our big spenders are quitting, our F2P can’t keep up because the rewards don’t update. A merge of servers is desperately needed and though we’re being told it’s happening, it keeps getting pushed. Many maxed players have an overstock of items in their backpacks that are now useless, but they keep getting them as rewards. Getting frags for heroes is either pay or fall behind. It’s definitely a player beware. Unless you are a social person, you will quit quickly. The friends are the only thing that makes this “chore” worth it.

Decent game, terrible support. Recently due to a glitched OS I had to restore my phone, upon doing so I realized my account was lost. Upon trying to restore it, I provided an in game purchase receipt that their account recovery process asks for, but apparently they can’t look up the account tied to the purchase to restore it. When asking them to check for the name of the account with the town hall level supplied, they told me they can’t find the name - when I gave the only other possible name it could be under, they didn’t bother to check it and told me “we have checked many times” and referenced the incorrect name - never having actually checked the supplied name. You’d think that given their recovery process asks for a purchase receipt, that I supplied, and said receipt lists purchase and order numbers that HAVE to be tied to the account in question they’d be able to look it up - however it seems that if you can’t do their job for them they’re not even interested in trying. Disappointing given the money and time I’ve put into this game, which is fun, but the support is just terrible and seems completely unwilling to take the time to help the community.

Help with registration dates for SOS accounts!!!. I have recently returned to SOS and noticed that I have multiple accounts I want to delete. The BIGGEST problem I have is the registration date for a few of them. When I submit a ticket, I am asked I can find the registration date of an account in the ‘Memorial Book’ under collection. I check and it states ‘under development stay tune.’ If it’s under development then how can I find the registration date for those specific accounts? I have submitted all purchase receipts under the moon with these accounts. I get SOS is verifying to make sure they’re my accounts but if the Memorial Book is ‘under development’ then why suggest to me to look there in the first place. Also, if I submitted numerous receipts and SOS does not see that I top up on that account, then why not delete it. So I’m stuck in a hard place. 1. Have a registration date, with no top ups and the account is deleted. 2. Don’t have a registration date, no purchase of a top up, no deletion. I mean with a few of them, the HQ’s have not made it pass 19. Is there a way I can find the registration dates for these accounts so I can concentrate on the ones I enjoy. Thanks.

Found this due to ad from another game.. been addicted ever since!. I’m someone who plays games, even puts money into the games for maybe a week or two then lose interest..... but this is not one of those games! I only downloaded it because it was an ad on another game that i got points from playing it to a certain level. I downloaded a bunch of games from my main game to help me get extra coins etc. like the other games.... I just Downloaded it then forgot about it. A few days later after downloading it, I ran out of energy on the original game I was playing so I decide to play this game to get me to the level I needed.... and I can honestly say I’ve been addicted ever since! That was about two months ago and I play for HOURS at a time! No doubt I’ve put at least $300 in it at this point, at most I’ve put $40-50 in other games. It normally $20 max... I LOVE THIS GAME! If you know the old game Left4Dead, it definitely has vibes like that game!

Unprofessional Rude Greedy. The two stars are because I like the game, but your customer support is ridiculous and condescending. I have NEVER had to leave a bad review ever, but this treatment will not go unspoken, the fact that I’ve spent my hard earned money to enjoy a game is fine, but the simple fact is when I don’t get my money’s worth is outright thievery. I’ve tried to contact you through in game support and on Instagram and of course I got no reply except when I told you that I would go through apple to resolve the issue your response was " glad you can get the issue resolved ". That’s disgusting to say the least, I’ve noticed from other reviews that you enjoy giving your customers the run around and unfulfilled support, I am appalled that you have the nerve to not either reimburse me or compensate me for my time and money. I promise you and I don’t break promises, I will happily and vigorously let everyone know on every social platform of your blatant disregard for paying customers and your complete and utter lack of responsibility via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Discord and reddit forums. There was albino sense in treating me or any other customer in this fashion.

Fun Game but Terrible Support. This game actually is pretty fun to play which is why I’m not giving it only one star. However, with how greedy the developers are I needed to express why. I purchased a package on State of Survival to enhance my hero. This package was only $5 so it’s not too big of a deal, but with how scummy the support and devs are it made it a big deal to me. Basically after purchasing this package I received the completely wrong items so I contacted support. After nearly two weeks of contact they came to the conclusion that I can not have a refund or the items I paid for. They are withholding me from the items I paid for simply because I used the items. The only item I recall using was the second construction slot which I already had because I paid for it. So keep in mind that if you plan on playing this game I recommend staying free to play. Don’t risk your money because even though State of Survival made nearly 29 MILLION (USD) they are still too greedy to credit you with items that technically cost them nothing. Don’t support scummy and greedy devs. If you’re playing F2P you’ll have a good time. GLHF gamers!

SOS. This game used to be fun until they made it where you have to spend money to make it so that you have a Chance to survive. I had to start over so many times in new states because 1 or 2 alliances would be destroy a state it’s a very time consuming game so if you have nothing better to do then sit on the couch all day and spend money then this game is for you. They update it regularly which is nice until the last update where it really messed up everything for the people that had under 100 million power which I might add takes forever to get to without spending a dime. I started over with my alliance in another state so many times I didn’t spend a dime the last time but about 20 of my alliance did and spent over $470 in just 4 weeks they were 30 times more powerful than I was and so was a lot of others in the state and they stated picking on us all the time. If they made it fair and took away all of the things that you could buy from there and everyone built there settlements based on the time spent on the game instead of money that would make it fun again.

DO NOT PLAY, Rip-off and a Scam!. The game is fun for the first month, afterwards requires House or new car payments to play it. the moment plasma comes out the game becomes a battle of who has the biggest wallet Roughly 1 month in whatever state the game assigns you in. This game falsely advertises being a real-time strategy game by making you spend money on literally every action you do. The game is addictive and players often spend 5000$ - 30,000$ because it has infinite small bundles to buy, the game also has absolutely ZERO methods of trading to your friends , as well as free to play players having the capability of getting any cosmetic items at all , or doing anything in the game to grind their way up competitively without spending. This game releases content so quickly to where it remains unstable , constant disconnects , and constant bloatware slowing the game to a crawling speed even on the newest smart phones. As an added bonus , there are no options to downscale the graphics or remove pointless animations which causes your game to lag to be nearly unplayable , and often ruins the PvP aspect of the game because of it. Terrible game.

Ok so where do I start so this game is a game where you play it all night or all day and you so this game is so addictive and cool I spent some money I created some type of friends in the chat and I even created some form of alliance it was called (PWR) (Power Of The Fangs) Yes that kept me going for a little bit but but after you done mostly everything like you grind for troops for battles or after you been attack or just wanna grind for the fortress fight... But then after that I been getting this feeling that I was slowing turning away from the game like if I wanted to play i clicked on the game but all I did was create troops research collect stuff and then clicked out it’s that kind of game... where you played it for idk 2-3 months or even more then you just get bored of it like you forced to play it and do the repeated cycle of train, research, collect that mostly it after you played it for awhile now but at the beginning I thought this game was awesome addicting I trained troops for battle and all that but after while it got boring... hopefully you devs and players or non players will understand [I Have Deleted The Game since I have I felt free from the force I had to play]

False Advertisement. Downloaded this game through an ad that said. Use this link to get 777 draws and some in-game codes which will get you tons of legendaries and get the character Lucky. So I downloaded it, used the 3 codes (only 2 worked), spent a week grinding this game, eventually received the 777 draws on day 5. I figured ok, I’ll finally get all the things the ad promised. I got about 3 epic characters and only 1 legendary fragment. Not even a legendary character. So I stopped playing. I felt lied to but maybe I misunderstood the ad through clever wording. But whatever, I still don’t want to play after feeling deceived anyway. But now here I am a couple weeks later after just seeing an ad that bragged about how this game isn’t false advertisement and referenced everything the I stated about above. I DID download the game through the link in the ad, I DID use the codes and 777 draws, I DID NOT receive Lucky nor ANY legendary characters let alone “tons” of them. A single fragment of a character is not a character. The ad did not mention log in 5 days to receive the 777 draws either. It said download through the link in the ad, receive the mentioned rewards. This game is false advertising

Fun even for free players. I’ve been playing this for about 6 months as a free player, and really enjoy the game. There are cyclical as well as special events that keep the game interesting, I’m always learning new things. There are enough ways to earn resources and currency as a free player that I never feel left out, and the purchase screens aren’t too pushy/obnoxious. I really like customizing my base and having so many different options for game play (attacks, explore missions, rallies, gathering, etc) and ways to continue to improve my standing. Customer support is also great, very responsive and generous with “apology packages” when the game has issues. The one thing that’s kept me playing this game longer than others is how great the people in my alliance are. I do think the developers need to make it easier to find states with a lot of options for alliances that speak your language. There is an in-game translator that is very helpful, but it’s not something you want to use for every communication.

Good the first couple hours only. The game is good at first and has potential. But unless you some money it’s not worth it. Here’s why... Most games I have played like this are all about the same at first. Once you reach a certain level you loose your “Peace Shield” and are vulnerable to attacks from other players. I get it. It’s a war game. But in every other game I have played you get a few peace shields so that once you reach a certain level and your base is open for enemy attacks, you can use other peace shields ( at least a day or two worth). Not this game. All you get is a 2 hour peace shield. I did all kinds of missions, quest, you name it. And all I was left with was a 2 hour peace shield and like no means of buying one unless I spend real money. I get attacked every couple hours, loos troops, resources, and my advancement halts to a slow down because of it. If the developers would give you a few of those shields for free so that you can actually advance for a few days instead of just a few hours, it would be a better game. But then again, they wouldn’t get their money. I get that, you spend time creating a game and you deserve some money. But you guys are super money hungry.

PAY TO WIN. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I have played state of survival (sos) for 7 months now. I have to admit, early gameplay was not half bad. You indeed build a nice little settlement in the zombie apocalypse. But it started hinting at pay to win barely a couple days into the gameplay. When I leveled up to headquarters 12 (out of thirty) it let loose on pay to win. Bundles, game passes, events, everything you can think of. Even if you pay, it does nothing to stop the bombardement of these things. After watching some mobile game ads on other games, It turns out there are several other games exactly like state of survival (e.g. doomsday: last survivor) There are also several other games by the developers of this game (Funplus) such as stormshot. I read the reviews there and it turns out it is the same story. Funplus turns out to be a money-hungry team of developers putting out low-effort games that are extremely pay to win I have read developer responses on the other reviews here saying “they are working on it” but trust me, they aren’t. I have waited a long time and they have only made it worse. This is a horrible phenomenon and it is better to not go down the rabbit hole of this game.

This game is absolutely amazing!. I have been playing for a little over two months. I am currently in state 652 and my name is and always will be thahaftoken. This game is not pay to win. You can pay to advance a lot faster however, this is not necessary. I have spent just under 60$ total in this game and I am advancing very fast and very well in the alliance that I am in. There are various events weekly to participate in. The events are fun and take some planning to achieve good ranking in. This game is very friendly. Each state (server) has its own set of state rules dictated typically by the collaboration between the top alliances. It’s pvp and pve but it is a very chill game and mostly pve in the two months I have been playing I have been attacked by one player. I love this game and will continue to play it for quite some time. If you have ever played a game called evony and had a terrible experience I am telling you, this game puts evony to absolute shame.

Don’t bother. This is not the first war game I have played. Some have been worse, some better. Most are pay to win, but the game play is worth even a little spending. Until this game. The developers insist on an overwhelming amount of events, to appease the appetites of the big spenders. While not problematic in and of itself, the thirst for more spending is causing them to release a broken product. Events are released without proper testing to see if they even work. Take the Aircraft event. By the time the part of that event that is for alliance participation is released, the event will be over. Also, because of this constant barrage of new events, other older events are affected. I spoke to friends in various states and all had issues with Capital Clash. Whether it be constant crashing, lag, receiving reports for attacks they were no part of, and more, this event has been a monthly thing for over about a year in my state and longer in others. One would think that there would be no bugs. But when the powers that be don’t care about the players, but the player’s money, hoping they never catch on to how crappy they are allowing the game to continue to be, it might be time to delete and find another source of entertainment.

Great game. I love the game, it’s not hard to understand and it has great tasks for you to do. The alliances are a great addition because you get to interact with other players regularly and help each other. The only things I don’t care about for this game are that 1. Building times sometimes feel excessive, like in order to upgrade your HQ, you have to wait several days so all your other construction is completed but you can’t do anything until your HQ is done. 2. It seems almost unmoderated? You can attack other players and attack other alliances, however there are NO limitations to this? The number one, strongest alliance can (and regularly do) attack the weaker alliances that can’t even defend again the attacks. I feel like there should be something in place were you can only attack other alliances within maybe 10 levels of your own, and same for other settlements in general. If I’m at level 22 there’s no real reason I should be attacking a level 12 or below because it just isn’t fair

Fun game!. This is a pretty fun game to play and spend a little time on. I definitely prefer this game over to most others in the category. Games like Evony and Fire Age are not as good as State of Survival. The only game similar that I think still trumps it is Clash of Clans. However they are very different games so maybe not a fair comparison. This game is relaxing and simple. It’s pretty easy to progress through the game as well. However, the couple reasons that I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 are: 1. There seem to be a couple bugs for me. The one that stands out the most is the alliance donations. They don’t ever seem to work properly. It either says that I can’t donate or they will reset in 10:00 with a countdown timer that just restarts over and over again. 2. I believe the game could do a bit better at explaining some of the minor things or what specific buildings do. It does a good job of explaining the main parts of the game but there are some alliance features that I don’t understand as well as some of the buildings purposes.

Don’t do it. The gameplay itself isn’t bad, although it does seem to keep getting more bugs or half developing things and rolling out a “beta” version of something new and just eventually abandoning altogether without warning or real updates which is kind of frustrating. But that isn’t really the big issue, the problem I had was the customer service, it was laughable when you did contact them about bugs and glitches. I once tried for over a week to tell them about a problem I had SPENDING more! As in the game glitched and wouldn’t let me, and they handled it with the most broken communication and cryptic messages over a week plus of random back and forth, seriously it was so frustrating at first it infuriated me but went on in such comical fashion resulting in total absurdity I just had to laugh at it all by the end. In summary, the game is of average interest to play, it is very limited unless you want to spend a lot, and be prepared that even if you are ok with that and accept it, it might not always let you and the customer service to problem solve towards any real solution is not going to be there. Lots of options out there, I recommend swiping left on this one.

Nice game BUT... As other reviews have already pointed out that game is pretty nice and addictive but once you get past level 10 it’s too hard to upgrade buildings and heroes, get some legendary heroes and train troops without purchasing bundles. Not only that the bundles only keep getting more and more expensive. The event rewards have also become limited and hard to get basically purchase more bundles to complete events to get those “free rewards” However, the most annoying thing of all this their ‘help and support’. I purchased a bundle but the transaction failed. I was charged for the purchase anyway so I reached out for assistance but got no response (aside from them asking for receipt which I provided). You would think that the game that you spend so much money on would have a good customer service but oh well! The only reason I still am on the game is because my alliance is awesome but don’t know how long I can keep up with their poor service. Oh did I forget to mention the horrible glitches 😊 every update basically releases a new glitch :) the app freezes/ crashes, rewards go missing (again no help from ‘help and support’), lags a lot!! I wish they would focus a little on the reviews and suggestions

Adds a rip it’s a cash grab. starting on a open developed server with players lvl 15+ is insane.. Sadly the add caught my attention. I thought it was a survival type game unlike multiplayer pay to survive and not get eaten alive by the person who spends thousands of dollars and just uses your base as a farm only play this game if you have a lot of money a lot of time. Do you not like to sleep in our willing to stand at all hours of the night when the Asians and other time zones are awake playing killing everyone. You best be ready to set up and get 30 alternate email accounts to keep up with the resources needed to upgrade troops and builds. Story mode was kind of interesting but soon as I find out that it was a clan base game. I thought I’d try for a moment. And see what happened. I played games like this and am very good at tactfully coordinating with others, but I didn’t feel like starting from scratch, and the mostly developed server I was dropped into. Starting a game when players are already lvl15+ is insane. Not worth your time unless you want to drop thousands of dollars. Reading chat showed how expensive “hero’s” actually are. Someone said that a hero would cost them over 7,500$ American dollars to max out. That’s just ridiculous.

Created to take your money. Although this game is enjoyable at first, it was only created to take your money. It has many features and is very intricate, but at a point you can only advance if you buy some sort of game feature like a hero bundle, or badges, etc. You cannot get to the level of your enemies unless you spend $4.99 here or $1.99 there. I got to level 7 for free but in order to get to level 8 I would have to spend $4.99 for a feature to get over an obstacle. What would I get for real cash from my Apple wallet? Some stupid virtual advancement that vaporizes as soon as I delete the game off my phone, only to find another obstacle requiring another $4.99. The game developers are geniuses for devising this game scheme, however. “Create a game where users will get addicted and be ‘forced’ to buy character features in order to ‘win’!” Which never happens because there are too many other networked players with more ability than you who have probably spent $1000 on game features. What a waste! Don’t get addicted to this game-you will have nothing to show for it in the real world after your piggy bank or Apple wallet is empty. Instead, spend your money on an online business course where you can make money for your family.

Overall Experience. Here is how i rated. I start with 5 stars. One star was deducted for not having good clarity of game play. I highly recommend a short video of the main beginners topics (informing that there are alliances out there to join, how to communicate with other members, what not to do as a beginner like attack. Lol). The subtopics like building, research, etc. you do very well in guiding. You teach really good on how to press and what to press. I realized this was my second time playing (trying it out) after a large period of time in between. The first time as I was building I did the dumb mistake of attacking a base. Lol. They demolished everything I worked for. So I stopped. I was not in an alliance because I was still trying to figure things out. Makes me wonder how many other people are in the same predicament, which is why I dropped another star. Loosing player interest quickly due to lack of knowledge. On another note, how awesome would it be to be able to interact with this through VR? Is it possible to somehow create something where you could play either through mobile or VR?

Double Charges, Support threatens and robs. This game is 100% pay to play. Be prepared for that before you download. Don’t download if you run iOS Beta programs, or honestly even if you have iOS (they gave Hawai players extra time after some events end so you spend $$ to win and surprise you don’t). Not only that, they are double charging you regularly. Me and several of my alliance members noticed this. They contest refund with Apple, then after you contest they give in but send you a nasty message saying you won’t get future purchases of the same dollar amount (essentially saying they’ll take your $$ til they get back what Apple refunded). Their customer support takes AGES to get back to you, and is incompetent to say the least. They said, and I quote: if frequent refunding is detected, swift and decisive action will be taken. Like what? You gonna sue me for you double charging and me requesting a refund? Screw these greedy developers. Oh btw, they charge tax on all in app purchases so that 4.99 comes to 5.29. I dropped $200 in a couple weeks and they still take forever to reply. F these developers Fr. If you read this good luck man and I hope you are ready to hand over your wallet. I only stay for my alliance fam 😅

Greedy. This game forces you to pay a lot of money to be competitive and the developers are greedy in nature where they will continue to change the format through various upgrades and maintenance to remove or add more feature to force you to spend money. Furthermore, some of their upgrades and fixes will remove items and rewards rightfully earned through competition with other players. First example is while I was playing, the server kept disconnecting and connecting randomly and when it was finally stable, it removed approximately 20K biocaps which is part of in-app purchase. I’ve contacted and messaged customer service but have yet to hear back from them. Second example is today where certain reward was advertised for reaching certain goal. Once goal was reached and I earned the reward, game function stops and the reward is removed. This game is fun in nature but the operators and developers of this game are very unethical and greedy to reach deep in to everyone’s pockets. If you are new player, don’t make my mistake and stay away from this game or you’ll be broke. If you’ve been playing this game for a while, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

Toxic environment. At first it was interesting, but when you constantly get attack by players in the top 10 alliances, some with 20-30mil power compared to your barely 5mil strength, it’s like shooting ducks in cages. There is no cool down period. Nothing. Around the same time every night, 1 player from 1 alliance will beat u up, then 5 minutes later another one from another alliance will do the same thing. It just goes on. How do they know where you are? There’s a broadcast somewhere where they say, go to these coordinates to act out your sociopathic urges on a newbie? They brag abt tile hunting, targeting a certain player, or as one put it, how they gang banged someone? Cyberbullying at its most cowardly, enabled by the thundering silence of the developers. Also the toxicity is not just there. Look at your state chats, ppl, u’ve got members going by the names of SneakyC**t, BigS**tBoss, HoeEatsC*m. They spell it out and they talk it. It’s disgusting. There is no monitoring at all again. I guess as long as u plunk down ur $$, we’ll just pretend this is just an adult game. I don’t need to play a game where 4 players will each have the word c**t in their names. Developers need to clean up this toxic game.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! BREEDING GROUND FOR BULLIES!. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! REPEAT: DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! THIS IS BREEDING GROUND FOR BULLIES! YOUR MONEY WILL GO WASTED! The game lures you in with humans have to be cooperative during a zombie apocalypse and they did a beautiful job at that. In the early stages of the game, you would be building up your home, your troops, gathering resources and killing zombies. After a certain point, ugly head started to rear up. Stronger players, either started playing before or serious players who spent lots of money, started going around bullying people. They would send their troops around razing your home and your hard-earned money. Since they keep attacking you and killing your new troops, raiding your resources while building their own, you have almost no chance of fighting back. And mods do not intervene at all! Other games would have a system to prevent things like this from happening but these developers make no efforts at it. The whole state turned into bullies' hunting ground and the money you spent early in the game is wasted. AGAIN! DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! *** P.S: I am not taking this down unless devs start cracking down on bullying in this game. Either ban them outright or move them to a more developed state where they can fight people their own weight, but DO SOMETHING!

Game Updates = Bad for Long Term Players. They are continuing to develop the game and push out updates that have negative consequences on players. Removing things like “adhesive” that you need to update gear so you now have to buy it, removing governor buff for troop growth after BP is lost without announcing it, etc. I would not pay to play in this game until they start being more transparent. A great example... in game they announced that 3 new epic hero’s would be released (epic hero’s are free) then the update comes out with legendary hero’s instead (ones you have to pay to upgrade), also update for capital “your troops don’t die” is a false statement. Your troops go to your hospital then once that is full, 75% go to enlist. Meaning you lose troops still. I have 100 hours of troop training gone based on this lie. I’m a lvl30 that paid to get there. I would never pay to do that again knowing what I do now. This is classic game making, when you get rich off a game and then get greedy. I would avoid at all cost. Thanks for your response. I did use the help function multiple times. Your support sends packs worth $1 for large losses. Nice try, but anyone who has dealt with your support knows this is a lie

Mostly Easy To Follow, Great Features. I really thought games like this were too complicated and couldn’t we figure it out or were too much to maintain. Well, this game is definitely more impressive than I thought it would be! You get help and protection until you have some things figured out and established as a player, so it’s nice to have time to figure it all out. There are a few really important things that they don’t tell you about in the tutorials and suggestions, but that’s where your alliance will come in handy. The game allows for some decoration, different types of challenges on top of the campaign goals and alliance goals, and even offers special events and log-in bonuses. The only thing I have to complain about is that they don’t have focus on building a real settlement for the people, like the campaign and houses. I really would like to see a settlement set-up campaign to boost prosperity and such, especially to match the survivors rescued.

Full of Trolls.... Fun game, graphics are great. Lots of “free” daily gifts. Of course if you want extra non-essential items you pay, which is reasonable. But as usual, some gamers will ask & demand more for free & complain about it. When you can get far in the game without purchasing anything. Entitled Gamers keep complaining about in-game loot but keep on playing anyway asking for hand outs. Another Downside is that other players expect much from you once you join an Alliance. They would ask you to be on at least 4xday, join the “rallies” when they call for it or else IF you miss it 1 time, you are kicked out of it. I’ve seen players threaten other players regarding their participation & says they don’t care if they have a life or circumstances, when they call for it, you show up, that is anytime in the day. They also want you to change your Name accordingly or else again, they will kick you out. And the “alliances” will promise they’re there to help each member, but just siphon you resources then boot you out & say that you weren’t helpful enough. My suggestion is “Don’t” join an alliance despite the “promised” benefits. The demands of other players are a bit much. Almost made me delete the app & quit playing. Only wish is that the game has a better SinglePlayer mode. To Block / Report other gamers. Please FiX. Otherwise, i suggest Play solo, it’s chill and on your own terms.

Good Game- Still needs a few things. After playing several games like this getting to a very high level and quitting, I thought would trying SOS out since I have seen many ads. First thing I knew was very important, was joining a good alliance. I started out in a lowly alliance since most of the top ones required higher power. I got my power up to about 3 million and joined a top 3 alliance. My power went from 3 million to 22 million in about 30 days. And since there was a nap with the top 20, except for KE, it made it enjoyable to grow fast. A couple things that are needed IMHO. 1. Have a way to get more stamina ( a real pain to be out of stamina) Maybe using less stamina on rallies would be a good start. 2. Have a 12 hour and 24 hour shield. Since this isn’t a job, having that option, when we are away on vacation or need a break assures us we won’t lose millions of resources. At least a 12 hour shield would be a good addition. I realize this an attack game, but losing troops and resources we have spent days and weeks acquiring motivates some to quit. Having this option would be a good addition to the game. Good things: Events to get rewards seem endless. Like Trap, throw down, showdown to name a few. The twice a day intel keeps the resources flowing at a nice level! Playing with an active alliance that has your back! All in all, I am enjoying this game.. I have spent real money. ( by the way, thank you for keeping the paid packs at a reasonable level.

Distribution of alliance gas resources. I love this game and would have given it a 5 if the alliance gas resources weren’t only available in the center of the map. My alliance is settled near one of the state borders and we can’t find any gas . We did not realize that in the beginning but now we do and there is no way we can do to fix this. The stronger alliances occupy the center of the map and it’s very crowded there as well. It’s so far into the game that our alliance is in the top half. However, we can’t move our HQ to where the gas is because we don’t have gas to build a new HQ (?!?!!) So we basically are STUCK!!! (T.T) I think it would enhance our gaming experience tremendously if the gas is also available near the border like all other resources. I love my current alliance and I don’t want to disband or merge with other alliances just to get gas. The alternative is to fight our way to the center but without gas to do research and grow our alliance, we are at a huge disadvantage in the game no matter how hard we play.

Survival. It seems others are having a similar experience that I have also encountered. Love the game and nearly everything about it. It’s the only game I play. However, customer service isn’t a service. It’s seems more of trained responses to somehow blame you for an issue that we have no control over. I initiated 4+ tickets and was dismissed each time, having to come up with more proof, screenshots, and narrative. I tried explaining what happened each time, even stating that I don’t want a refund or exchange (I just wanted the item I purchased), but the gist of all replies “it is impossible” (their own words). After receiving the same message despite evidence I simply wanted to be understood which I have now given up on. I’ll still play the game, but will not interact with no “help & support” for as long as humanly possible. I would give this game more than 5 stars if I could otherwise. Hopefully this review doesn’t impact my gameplay, but had to share my experience as it appears I am not alone. Keep on surviving everyone! Please don’t send some automatic developer response saying y’all are fixing the issue. I suggest simply making it what it is - a service.

Good so far. So far, so good. Not sure I want to stay in this state though. Update:I did stay in the state. I have played this game for 19 months and have just zeroed out my two settlements. I’m done. This is a game for people who have lots of disposable money to spend and who don’t care about the disparity between the haves and the have-nots. Bullies are everywhere in this game so be aware. Customer service gives generic responses the majority of the time and any ‘compensation’ given is a blanket award and is mainly unneeded items unless you are very new to the game. The developers know EVERYTHING that you do in the game. Every bundle that you even look at, they know about it so there is really no reason to have to explain 4 times that the game crashed (system error) just as kill stage was to begin and you were not able to protect your settlement before someone else zeroed your troops and took all your resources. They know what happened but choose not to correctly compensate you. Be ready to spend some money or be prepared to not get very far very fast or without a lot of frustration.

Wonderful progression in states. This game is wonderful. The world is broken down into states. Each state is independent and the game promotes cooperation within that state. If you join a newly created state, the zombies that appear on the map are less powerful and the “high level” areas of the map are locked down. As the state grows over time, higher levels of zombies unlock and eventually your state unlocks the ability to have a player to be the governor of the state and grant state wide buffs using currency earned by everyone in that state and eventually battle against other states. I’m not sure if it is due to state specific player enforced rules, but players in my state do not zero out bases or pick on low level bases as I have experienced on other war style games. It is possible to be competitive by investing time into the game without paying but as in most games, I suspect the top 10 teams are made up mostly of people who spend money every week. There are a good number of events that rotate and some that appear as your state progresses.

Great Game, Horrible Customer Service. This is a great game to play, a little glitchy at times but things you can live with. If you are new to the game, start at a new state. If you go into an existing state it will be difficult unless you are spending money. Even in a new state, you have to spend money to level up and keep up with other players or you will get burned. Customer service is pretty bad. I have had issues buying packs and not getting items, this happens more than you would like it to. And a familiar story among Alliance members and they don’t take banking transaction details as proof which is crazy. They want screenshots of the game etc when you don’t take as you never assume your purchase is going to fail. Also when you log tickets for things going missing in your backpack or using items that are taken away from inventory yet the buff does not work is troublesome as it is impossible to get CS to give you back any items. I have had to wait days for CS to respond and at the end of going backwards and forwards for a week, they say “No issue found” and you just lose anything that went missing.

Ineptitude and greed, a pathetic combination. First, the game is fun. Let’s get that out of the way. Having said that, let me state categorically that to really get anywhere in this game you better have a serious amount of money to blow on crap. Everything costs, and they nickel and dime you to death. I spent several hundred dollars in a matter of a couple months. In light of that, let me add that their support is non-existent most of the time and completely incompetent for the remainder. I had an issue over the disappearance from my storage of a few items purchased. I acknowledged that they had been there, but somehow vaporized from my inventory. In dealing with this i was passed off to multiple people, having to re-explain every time. The general tactic was to wear me down until i gave up. When that failed, Their response was: you got the items, have a nice day. They never actually understood the problem, or they pretended they didn’t. In the end, i’m not certain if i’m more offended by their incompetence in solving a problem over $7.98, or their stupidity in sacrificing hundreds of dollars in future revenue from me over such a piddly amount. Whatever. I no longer care, but i will NEVER give these people another dime, and you shouldn’t either.
