Breeze: Mental Health App Description & Overview

What is breeze: mental health app? The app is based on several concepts from cognitive behavioral psychotherapy and contains four main features described below.
With Breeze we give a user more awareness about her/his emotions and activities/things/people that trigger them. Tracker of negative thoughts helps to learn new habit to criticize negative believes and patterns in thinking. In overall, this helps to improve the emotional state of the user.

In future releases, we are going to introduce tracker of cognitive distortions and provide advice from professional psychotherapist to help users to deal with issues in different areas of life.

Mood tracker
Daily mood tracker to understand which situations/contexts trigger emotional reaction.
Create a map of your emotional conditions and be aware of people/activities that make you happy or bring you down.

Negative thoughts tracker
The concept of automatic negative thoughts comes from cognitive behavioral therapy. The idea is that even minor negative thoughts that automatically appear in our consciousness influence our mood and psychological conditions.
We provide users with several interactive techniques that help criticize and fight such negative patterns in thinking.

Tracker of cognitive distortions
We give some useful insights into popular cognitive distortions and teach users how to identify flaws in their thinking and behavior.

Advice from a psychotherapist (in future updates)
Some practical advice from acknowledged psychotherapist — he will cover widespread topics and issues people usually have in different areas of life.

Barely used the app. I just downloaded this an hour ago, finally went to try it and the second I was prompted with having to pay for the full aspects of this app I felt lied to with the ad I saw on Tiktok. False advertising at its finest. As an individual who is studying psychology to become a therapist it does annoy me that any “mental health app” out there you always have to pay stupid amounts of money to use features on the app. When will people understand that mental health and illnesses are not and should not be profitable. These are actual people having issues, trying to find accessible help and are being made to believe, as I was, that this is an app free of use. I also saw another review speaking on the same things of charging people and not being able to afford it with other living expenses, to which I highly agree with, and their response was all business talk, not really addressing the real issue. Nevertheless I will be deleting this app after submitting this.

Cute UI/UX, questionable tests. First of all, as a graphic designer, I think that the illustrations and actual app design is excellent. I do like the concept of this app and the games are more helpful than I anticipated. I’ve done a few of the quizzes and I’m not a fan of the polarization in the answers when they only give two answers. Sometimes we are in between answers…there should be a slider scale or maybe 5 different answers varying on how well the user identifies with the statement. As a cis woman, I was a bit surprised to see the sexist trends in the gender quiz. The ideas of ambition, assertiveness, etc ascribed to men and gentleness, empathy, etc. pinned to women is very reductive. Of course I got an “androgynous” result because I consider myself self sufficient and ambitious. I don’t think that makes me any less feminine. The other quizzes confused me in the results, as I very much resonated with every emotional burnout question and yet was given a “moderate” result. I also saw a few typos. Perhaps once the kinks are worked out, maybe this app could be more of a successful tool. At the very least, it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Great App. I think this is an amazing app. I think it could really make a change in peoples lives because of its accessibility and functionality. I have connections with a nonprofit that has to do with mental health and wellness and I think an app like this being accessible to so many people can make such a big difference. The courses on the app are one of the things that I like the most, although I also enjoy the check up tests, because they give so much information without being overly extensive or boring. The reason I don’t give 5 stars is because of the premium option. I haven’t had the app for very long so I am not sure how much I’m missing out on by not having premium but I definitely think it would be beneficial to have more tests, other than just the check ups, available without it. Overall, the app can be very helpful and I am glad I downloaded it!

Decent, needs some improvements. I do quite enjoy this app, I have purchased the upgrade to do the personality quizzes and courses. However I notice the track sleep feature disappears more often than not. I have logged my sleep once since using the app but the options has not returned since. The opening screen mentions tracking sleep as well, but I still unable to find that feature most of the time. It would also be nice to set multiple notifications to keep reminding me throughout the day to update the app. Lastly and this is mostly just personal preference, I would love some colored them options and app face options; again not necessarily would just make me happy for the money I spent.

Surprised, helps inspire motivation. Was depressed to the point of hopelessness. Started using this app on a whim after seeing an ad bc I didn’t know what else I could do. While it is no replacement for therapy, I can say it has helped me learn about myself and find some direction. Initially I just hoped to notice patterns in my mood tracking, but then I found that logging those moods every day helped ground me. I have been able to figure out what parts of my life make me feel better and worse, and the guides/lessons do genuinely help me figure out how to move forward. Plus, the option of adding a photo w each mood card has cheered me up a bit just because it’s fun, it feels expressive, and it encourages me to DO things. F app subscriptions but I pay for this one and only this one.

Not worth the Money. How are you going to charge for information that can be found on the internet for free? Almost everything mentioned in your app comes with the note saying that it is not a diagnosis and it’s not medical advice nor professional advice so why are we getting charged for this? Some of the tests ask about career and work etc when those questions might not apply to everyone causing the result of the test to be incorrect “advice” or result being that the question can not be skipped and it does not have an “does not apply” option. As a person who struggles with anxiety, depression, and ptsd I expected something better and useful for it being a charged app. Way overpriced to be honest for $8 a WEEK!! Stick to your personal journal and find ways to organize it neatly so it can be easier to go back and compare your progress, research online.. everything mentioned in this app is provided free on the internet!

just don't.. Downloaded the app, signed up for the free trial, canceled the free trial, and deleted the app all in the span of 25~ minutes. The quizzes don't make any sense at all and a lot of the questions are repeated over and over, just phrased differently. I was getting the impression that it was more of a translation issue than anything else because a lot of the errors and typos were tense issues, but upon reading other reviews they do seem almost auto-generated. This app isn't that great and definitely not worth the subscription price. There are plenty of other mood trackers available on the app store for free! It seems like it's basically an accumulation of resources but all of the resources they are providing are free online. Literally type in the title to the articles on google and it's all there for free. I wouldn't be complaining if this app were free, but it's not and it is completely for no reason.

can’t do anything without paying. There may be some free features in the app, but I can’t find them. So far every feature I wanted to try tells me I have to do a 7-day trial to use it. I haven’t gone too deep into the app because that’s discouraging to me while I’m in the middle of a mental health crisis. I understand the need to make money, but it would be better to allow use of features for a set amount of days before disabling and asking for a subscription. Many other apps do this so I know it’s possible. The developers of this app just want to get users trapped in a subscription. I’m bipolar, you really think I’m going to remember to cancel a trial in the middle of an episode? The apps that I do eventually subscribe are the apps that let me try the full features before subscribing and don’t require me to sign up for a trial. I eventually purchase these apps because I get a chance to really try it out and see if it’s for me with no strings attached. The apps like this that force a trial without letting me see the value first… well, they get deleted. Just like this one. Edit: I appreciate the developer’s response instead of just saying “well, we need to make money” like other developers. I will keep an eye out on this app and try it again when the developers make that possible.

Quizzes are awful, app is a scam. Multiple quizzes said I have low empathy. I have spent the last 10 years devoting my life to working with marginalized communities and helping others. Anyone who knows me knows that being empathetic is my greatest strength. After seeing those results, I couldn’t take any of the other quizzes seriously. They are honestly so bad and not research-based at all. Not to mention, so many of the questions are poorly written, make very little sense, and have multiple typos. Making customers pay $8.50 PER WEEK for such an unprofessional and fraudulent app is a scam. DO NOT use this app as a mental health resource. There are plenty of free resources online that are real and backed by research, not just made up. If you’re going to pay for mental health resources, your money will be far better spent with a certified therapist or on resources that come from reputable sources. Don’t waste money on this app.

Difficult to cancel and refund. After trying this app out for a few days I realized that the content offered was very similar to other sources that I had access to already. I searched the entire app and a website referenced with no luck. For some reason I was not offered to pay through my Apple ID so therefore was unable to easily cancel. Once I finally got ahold of someone I was told that there are no refund given for web payment. The inability to cancel through a stream lined process/easily outlined process speaks volumes about the integrity of this company. I would encourage anyone downloading the app for a trial research the cancellation policy steps and appropriate dates to ensure that you are not charged. There are no emails sent to confirm subscription or when you been charged - the only way to know is by checking your CC account. Sneaky and subversive is not a way to run a business

Really really nice. I downloaded this a track my moods as I quit smoking. It’s so nice!! I’m back to download on my new phone, because this app is so pretty and easy to use. I was able to retrieve all my input without creating an account. I’m so grateful for that! Thank you. When you delete a message there seems to be no way to restore it; there is no trash file. I think I like that. Yes, I’m okay with that. I love the cute little face on the weather-inspired-mood icons. Every day, the app sends me a reminder to make a note, at a time that I set for the day. I love this feature. I don’t do it often, and it doesn’t mind. I also like that I can include activities going on and I can create personalized activities! It really helps to see what else is effecting my mood. The only complaint I have: it sends me a quote every day. The SAME quote every day for 4 months now. I can’t find where to switch it up or switch it off. Edit: They have stopped sending the same quote everyday...they have stopped sending any quotes at all. I thought the idea of daily quotes was neat, but the same one everyday was silly. I'm glad they fixed that. Thanks!

Interesting App. As I’m on the free trial for this app I’m pretty happy with the insights I’m gaining through all the little quizzes I’m being given. The games are very calming and low stress. I personally enjoy the way the app explains emotions and makes you think about what you’re feeling. That said, it’s unfortunate that this app forces you to pay money you might not have even though I can see many people (including myself) find this useful. Too many self-help or health-based apps require you to pay in order to get help which might be difficult or impossible. I’ll continue through with the trial but I’ll end up cancelling and uninstalling the app once it’s done. It’s a shame I won’t get more out of it.

Liked the app but no way to change email. This was a really great app. I saw an ad for it on TikTok and downloaded it. I loved the features and the graphics. I also liked the assessments and the fact that it really delved into mental health and the underlying things behind it, rather than just giving you run-of-the-mill information. Seemed well thought out. Sadly, I’m only giving it one star because there is no way to change your email if you type it in incorrectly during the sign-up process, which unfortunately I did. There is also no support email listed on the app, and I had to go to the website to find a support email. I emailed them a month ago asking if I could have it changed to my correct email, and I never got a response. This is very problematic because an incorrect email could be receiving your personal health information or other details, and there is no way to fix it. If I’m going to pay $8 a month for an app, I expect there to be a way to change your email or to get a response from customer service. I hope they fix this issue.

I love the app, but the recent update seems to have deleted a lot a of history I’ve logged. :(. So I’ve been using this app since around 2021 and I do really like it, but last night I opened the app ready to track my mood and everything was gone. I tried logging in and now all the moods I’ve tracked up until June 2022 is there. Everything after June 2022 is not there even though I’ve been tracking since then. All the activities I logged and the emotions I logged are all gone. My highest score on the flower game is also gone. I had a streak of like 150 days and that’s gone cause all the recent mood logs I’ve put in are gone. Anyway please fix this. I want all the stuff that’s missing all of a sudden back.

Please don’t download this app if you have actual mental health issues. I could absolutely guarantee that there is genuinely no science to back up any single thing on this app other than what has been ripped from official PHQ assessments which you can take by yourself for free anywhere. These BuzzFeed style “mental health assessments” are very degrading and please seek actual assistance from someone who respects you and you can trust to give you information like your “toxic trait” and if you’re a “manipulator”. I don’t even hate the idea but to label these things so negatively and then their added “cute” little graphics to represent it adds a layer of arrogance and doesn’t take mental health issues seriously. We all have toxic traits, the creators of this’ toxic trait is thinking they’re better than everyone else. Don’t waste your money on these pretentious people who want to label you, there are free resources to mental health clinics in times of need and if you’re feeling down on yourself remember these labels do not define you. Shame on yourself Breeze.

Breeze. If I’m being honest this app has told me a lot about myself through the several tests. Some of the answers. I was not expecting, but answers that help me understand myself better so now based off the answers that they give me I’m able to work around the difficulties that I have, and get along with people, better and love myself more, I recommend this app for teenagers because you guys are on your phones a lot. I am one of them and sometimes you guys start to judge yourself. I just wanna tell you that everyone is beautiful and really show you the truth about yourself based off your preferences and might help you love yourself more and except who you really are.

Rather shallow - not useful if you’re already getting help. If you already have a sense of self awareness, or are already working on yourself through therapy or more, then this app simply is not worth your time and definitely not the cost of subscription. The tests feel amateurish and frankly too rigid to be of any help. Most questions have only two answers to choose from and it basically boils down to yes or no. That’s simply not helpful for me and likely many others like me who might struggle making black and white statements and decisions. Nothing in life is so simple as, ‘do you do this or that,’ and the lack of nuance and circumstantial answers makes me question the value of whatever results they may provide. This might be useful for people who don’t realize that they could benefit from self reflection or therapy. Maybe someone who never trusted therapy - perhaps this could be something like a gateway to self discovery and healing, and then they have an epiphanous realization that maybe they could benefit from it after all? But I’ve lived with whatever you want to call my issues for twenty some years now. I’ve already started trying to heal and feel better, and I’ve learned a considerable amount about myself in the process. So for me, and others who have lived most of their lives with these issues and illnesses and whatnot, this isn’t going to do much.

Decent App!. I love Breeze because of how simple it is! I struggle with a bit of depression. I’m not saying this app cures depression, but I do find it helpful to keep track of what things make you feel certain ways. I love that the feed has simple things that one might already know and shows how to handle them! It’s a great way to remind me of what’s important each morning. To see improvement in the way I feel makes me feel so accomplished. Just like if someone was excited that their “B-” improved to an “A+” in school, I get excited when I see my mood improve. The best part is that this app isn’t doing it for me, I’m doing it for myself with just a little push of help. Thanks Breeze! I wouldn’t change one thing about your app!

Psychology Student. There are many strengths to this app and many many weaknesses. Downloaded this to analyze for my clinical psychology course and found the app to struggle with a diverse collection for its users. The weekly $8.49 isn't a good idea to get users to directly want to pay. Perhaps a Monthly or Annual fee would be a better option to users who are likely rather than simply needing to use the app for a week or 2 they would likely need it for a month or longer. I don't feel like enough disorders are covered on the app. The only thing the user can use without a subscription is the mood journal. There needs to be more disorders listed, more inventories, more questionnaires... and perhaps less vague results for the users and a direct help of numbers stated if the person indicates a need for help. These are my opinions!

Really helpful and actually free, wow. I recently started antidepressants and have been looking for an app to track my moods throughout the day. I had a hard time finding one that allowed for multiple daily entries that works without paying a premium or subscription fee. This one is really user friendly, allows you to add custom activities and tracks these and how they correlate with your different moods. This is super helpful for me for understanding other factors than my meds that may be influencing my moods, such as coffee or a stressful conversation. Overall just very helpful and easy to use for specific individual needs. There is like an ad watching for credit system but these credits are not needed for the main features, and so the ads have not been disruptive to my experience at all. Highly recommend.

Really like it!!. I haven’t been using this app for very long, but I already love it! I love that you can customize your activities and that there is a wide range in emotions bigger than going from “sad” to “happy.” I like that you can track your sleep; this feature has been especially helpful for me. There are, however, a few features I don’t like. I don’t like that you have to get gratitude points to use a passcode, I feel like that should just be a given option. There is a bug that doesn’t allow me to edit past entries, which is frustrating and would be much better if they could be fixed. I’m also unsure of how to delete entries, or if it’s even possible to do. Overall the app is great, and the pros outweigh the cons, but there are some adjustments that can be made.

Very expensive and many things lost in translation. Let’s begin with the most important thing: after your free trial, the app is $8.50 per WEEK. That’s $34 per month. That is a ton of money: basically as much as cable television, but for a mood-tracking app. I’m not sure what I’m paying for here: it features quizzes (like the now-discredited Myers-Briggs personality type) that can be easily obtained for free online. And I found it confusing that in the “what are you doing right now” section of tracking one’s activities and mood, there is no option for “work” or “chores”! So, this app would be great if you are a wealthy heir/heiress who never works and you want to track how you respond to eating, playing, and hanging out with friends. I didn’t need the full week’s trial- I knew right away that this wasn’t for me, and canceled my subscription after less than a day. While I can appreciate that this app was clearly designed by someone for whom English is a second language, there are so many typos, misspellings, and mis-translations that it becomes distracting.

Subscription to mental health. No group that gives a crap about mental health would charge you $8 per week for something like this. This is criminal! Find a free mood log template online and fill them out with a pencil for free and don’t give these parasites a cent. This is exploitation and you all should be ashamed of yourselves. UPDATE Developer response: “As the company providing such services, we consider it fair and convenient to provide free and paid features. Breeze's key functionality is free and allows you to journal your mood, track what influenced it, see basic stats on your days, play relaxing games, and access the first course and test. A paid subscription helps these features stay free and gives you access to premium content that consists of tests and courses.” I find this very hard to swallow considering you are harassed every 5 seconds about buying premium; the mood tracking feature, the tests, and I am sure the games as well can be done for free online. It is ridiculous to use psychological manipulation to get people to buy a service to help them figure out if they are being psychologically manipulated and then turn around and be like “see we helped you!” No mental healthcare professional should (or probably would) tell people to use this app as it is now. $8 week is unjustifiably expensive for what you get in return.

only good if you spend money. I honestly enjoy the app, it’s calming and has fun activities to help my boredom. And when tracking your mood it has plenty of options to click which I’m grateful, it just makes it much easier. But… almost everything on the app you can’t do unless you decide to purchase the monthly subscription, WHICH IS SO ANNOYING. I haven’t bought the subscription yet because I have yet to be paid but I’m not totally sure I want to. It gives me a gift in the morning when I log in for the day but it’s always the subscription over and over again asking me to purchase the stupid free trial (WHICH IS ONLY A WEEK LONG, then $8 something monthly) There is the “don’t show again” button which is definitely helpful. But not even just that, you can only do several (if even that) of the tests/quizzes without purchasing the subscription. I’ve only been able to do 1 while being ftp!! And there’s so many tests and quizzes on top of that, so why can’t you make a little more than a handful free to do?! It also feels like I’m having the one WEEK free trial shoved down my throat anytime I’m on the app. So in conclusion, if you can’t or don’t want to buy the monthly subscription just don’t buy the app. There’s very limited you can do if you do decide to download this and not purchase anything.

:/. I’m not one to write reviews, especially bad ones, but I’ve been very unhappy with this app. In absolutely no way is this worth $20 a month. All it is is an extremely basic mood tracker (go buy a journal for a dollar it’ll last for months) and some mediocre quizzes that make you question these people’s credibility. In addition to not at all being worth the money they charge, it’s also nearly impossible to cancel the subscription (I did a free trial) you can’t do it through the app, and for me it never showed up in my Apple subscription settings, it was also difficult to figure out how to contact support, and I ended up just deleting the account hoping against hope that that would make them stop charging me (it didn’t) anyway, throughout this journey I ended up spending about $80 on something that was completely useless to me and unavailable to me most of the time anyway. They will not refund you no matter the circumstances, so, just money down the drain that I could’ve put toward the emergency surgery I need.

Subscription. imma start this off by saying this app is developed well and that it’s well organized and it could really help with your mental health theres quizzes to teach you about it but the down fall is that you have to pay. i understand that the developers need a way to get money but there’s other ways to get it like using ads or something and it’s not to much for the subscription but for someone like me i’m low on money and i thought this app would be able to help with my mental stability right now but i can’t spend my money on this app i already have trouble paying the bills like i said before there’s other ways you can get money besides having to pay a subscription. without the subscription you can track yourself and have a journal that’s about it with the subscription you get to take the quizzes and learn about your mental health and much more but if you really cared about the mental state of others you wouldn’t have the subscription on how to learn about it i mean i get the quizzes but we still need to be able to learn about our health and how to fix the issue. if you read all of that thank you for listening.

I am unsure how to feel. The app was great until it randomly deleted all of my information. I typically used the app to log my good days so I could come back and re live those memories, and I loved how you could even add a cute little picture to your note, it really took me back and I could visualize and remember the day I was looking back on. Sometimes you forget about those little sweet moments, so I liked to be able to jot them down and keep them. Unfortunately one day I opened the app and everything was gone. I’m talking like a good couple months to a year of days and experiences I wrote down. It was so disappointing I don’t know what happened, I don’t recall there being a “delete everything” button. I didn’t purposely try to erase anything. I just use the app like normal every time when adding all my stuff. When I say everything was gone I mean EVERYTHING. Even the activities and emotions you can choose that it automatically starts with. I’ll have to go back and re add every positive and negative emotion choice and all the possible activities. Because now there is nothing to choose from. I liked how in the beginning how it already had those and I could add more if I wanted. So now I’m not sure if I want to keep using this anymore because like what’s the point of using it and adding everything back if all my data is going to get randomly erased again.

Great app, but. Dude oh my gosh, I just took the “masculine or feminine inside” (idk if that’s the actual name I just clicked on it) test and it says I’m androgynous. Are you kidding? “Are you dominant, are you soft spoken, are you unconventional” that stuff doesn’t define what a person’s gender is. It’s misleading to people like I’m not the most gentle woman around but I’m very strongly a woman. Mentally and physically and I’m confident in that, I’ve always been a tomboy but that doesn’t make me internally a male!! It means I like doing the more masculine things sometimes like throwing a football with guys rather than going into a dance party, but that alone doesn’t determine my gender mentally or physically. I’m lucky I’m so confident in myself because if I wasn’t, I’d be questioning my entire existence right now. But the mood logging and other personality tests work very well for me

Not worth it. I saw an ad for this app on IG so I installed it. I quickly realized if I wanted to take the tests I would need a premium subscription so I subscribed because I’m a sucker for internet quizzes. As many people have mentioned there is some weird language issue with some questions — and I also found none of the numbers show up. For example on the internet addiction test, it was like “I spend more than hours on the internet.” Right. (I am not going to email the developer with screenshots as I have already canceled my subscription and uninstalled the app.) I also found the results to be pretty inaccurate. I took the “introvert/extrovert” quiz and for the record, I am a complete introvert, but after answering all the questions that way, the result said I was 50/50 extro and intro, that I am outgoing and like to be out with people. Say what? 🤔 I gave it 2 stars because it was entertaining for about 30 minutes and the app is pretty well-made.

Overly simplistic. The questions on most personality tests have two answers that sometimes are not things that you would identify with for either and sometimes the questions themselves are strangely worded or asked in a way you don’t identify yourself with, or agree with, instead of with neutrality or inquisitiveness. Some of the questions are odd in themselves such as being strangely worded, feeling incomplete, or as if they were translated from a different language. The mood disorders quiz feels way too short and simplistic to be telling someone to look out for possible bi-polar disorder when a lot of these same answers to their questions could be associated with ADHD such as impulsiveness, energy, and talkativeness Some of the quizzes can be insightful if they actually manage to ask the right questions and supply the right answers, and mostly if it seems to be a simple subject, such as a depression, anger, abusive relationships, etc. The daily mood log is overly simplistic, with only five options, ranging from very sad, sad, neutral, happy, to very happy with no other moods or feelings outside of that spectrum. All in all this feels like a kids app or like a very basic researched series of small quizzes in the back of a magazine. I wouldn’t use this if you actually care to understand anything serious about yourself unless you’re absolutely clueless about yourself and your feelings or the way you deal with things.

It has great potential! But has a major issue…. This app is really well designed and an overall great idea and nice features! The aesthetic is extremely nice and I can tell the devs worked really hard to give the users a nice experience. However, with that being said, the paid subscription feature is extremely ridiculous. Over $8 a week is a bit much if you ask me… I feel like the addition of a paid subscription at all is a poor choice considering it’s a MENTAL HEALTH app, designed to make people feel better. It completely goes against what the app is preaching. What makes it worse is that there are little to no free features without the subscription, so the app is almost useless without it. (Pretty much all the tests are locked and most other features are unavailable as well.) The daily mood thing is nice, and I like how it tracks how you feel each time you fill it out but that’s just about the most useful thing on there without the subscription. I feel as though the subscription should just be removed completely, because it seems really selfish of the devs to add such a thing. I understand that they might need money, but the high price they’re asking is just not right. At the very least, price should be much, much lower than it is…

Who made this?. I found this app because it advertised a “writing style” test on Instagram. As a writer, I was curious. After downloading, I took a couple of the tests - though none of it was relevant to writing or was the test I had seen advertised. The tests were all yes/no questions, and I reached an error screen after each, saying that my answers were conflicting and the app couldn’t give me results - and that I should retake the test again. Unlike Myers Briggs, which scores on a gradient of answers, the wording and grammar wasn’t very clear, and again, I got another error screen stating that my answers were conflicting. I am rating two stars for the poor grammar and quality of tests, inaccurate advertisement, and ridiculous pricing after the initial free trial. $35+ per month…?! For an app that isn’t clear or cohesive? The creators should really revisit their design, target audience, and pricing, because while I see the potential upsides to a functional app with these same intentions, this is just unrealistic.

disappointed. I’m a huge mental health advocate and even have my degree in psych. I have issues myself and always doing self discovery and improvement. I downloaded this app excited to take some tests and was offered a - can’t remember if it was a 3 day trial or a week free trial - however I was charged randomly during a FREE trial that I was not suppose to be charged yet. That is a red flag for me as I was not wanting to pay for this app since all the tests can be found online and there are a lot of typos with only a paragraph of results which I thought would give deeper. I requested a refund since they took money from my card during a free trial which they were not suppose to do and denied my refund request which I am appalled by. I resubmitted a appeal on my denied refund request and going to be utterly disappointed if it is denied again. Don’t get this app they will take money out of your card during a so called free trial and not want to refund you for it. Still awaiting for a refund.

Breeze Journal never available for me. A big part of this app for me has been the courses. There’s supposed to be a Breeze Journal in which to record each lesson exercise. The app doesn’t take me to the journal which it says it will, and I can’t locate it. There’s also no way to locate or reach support for this app. These two issues are making me give it 2 stars, and those stars are because the mood tracker is good. I have used it for a month and it gives me reliable information about how my mood has been during that time. But those are a dime a dozen. I actually paid for this. I expected more (like support and the journal that is supposed to be included). I also discovered I’m supposed to be getting a table to look at and fill in for the anxiety section, but when I click the link it doesn’t take me there. Really tired of this not working. Reducing my review to one star and would appreciate being contacted by the person who can help me with this.

Review from a licensed therapist. I try a lot of apps as a way to test and recommend to my clients. To put it quite simply, save your time & money with this app. As other reviews have noted, this app is structured in a way that makes profitability a priority. There are plenty of other apps that offer a more comprehensive and transparent approach. DBT Coach & Bloom CBT are my recommendation of app that have wonderful psycheducation component that is intentional and helpful. The activity components of these apps are also veasy to navigate at your pace. Both have a great journaling and tracking function that is leaps and bounds above that on Breeze. The main reason I downloaded and tried this app was for the assessment piece. However, other than their thoughtful marketing in getting someone to download the app—these assessments are generic and gives less information and insight than what can be found in a simple Google search. I thought the “games” would potentially be a promising, but that too was very simplistic and feels more like throwing labels of mental health benefits onto it rather than any real substance, other than the practice of distraction. Their customer service is responsive but not helpful—generic responses. I hope this was helpful in getting you closer to an app that actually prioritizes mental health and may of benefit to you.

I would give this 4.8 stars. It’s a great way to track your moods and reflect upon your day and it’s nice to see how much your moods fluctuate throughout the month. It’s also really simple to use if you only use it to track your moods. Not too big on the tests and videos but definitely can be used if someone is struggling with their mental health and emotional stability. The only thing I would complain is not being able to look back on how much hours you sleep every day. You can track your hours daily BUT you can’t look back at them in your stats. I’d like to see how much hours I sleep everyday since I’m tracking them and how that could effect my moods.

They will tip you off when you cancel after 2 days!. First of all the service of the app is horrendous. I’ve been studying clinical psychology for 19 years and their tests are absolutely laughable and ridiculous. They are not based anyway in science. Therefore, I canceled my subscription two days into the “”””free week trial”””” which I started on the 20th and it expired on the 27th and on the 31st they went ahead and charged me 1999+ a dollar randomly now I have to dispute it with my bank. And have multiple phone calls with them all week. Thanks breeze you’re really awesome about mental wellness that was sarcasm. They went ahead and charged me behind my back without my informed consent through my PayPal, which I never authorized, and I had canceled it two days into the subscription, because it absolutely is a useless app for a healthcare professional. Now with PayPal, I have to wait till July to be able to file a dispute so if I don’t get my money back through Basenji enterprises whatever they want to call themselves, more like switch and bait and lie to you-ji, I have to jump through all of these hoops to get my money back and I’m not working right now because I am taking care of my mental health and this app is absolutely going to take all of your money without even asking. Crossing this review across my TikTok Instagram with over 1000 followers Facebook and more. Don’t even sign up for this app. This is absolutely horrible.

Full of bad results. I took the test for mood disorders, which is basically the test for bipolar. I’m able to answer yes to every single question, including the question that asks if a health professional has ever said I have bipolar. YES. I also was able to answer YES to the experiencing mixed episodes where you have more than once symptom at one time. The ONLY question I answered no to was having a hereditary or genetic disposition to it, no one in my family has been officially diagnosed. And this app over and over says I have a negative result. That’s about all I need to know about the credibility of this app, when I say yes to every symptom I’ve experienced with my bipolar II, yes to a medical professional diagnosis (which I have), and the app still says I have a normal range. This is a laughable algorithm they have developed. Oh dear. Cancelled the subscription after about three other tests were taken, results were less than impressive as someone who’s been heartily enmeshed in the therapy game for a long time. Not worth anyones time. Didn’t even last a whole two hours, and you get a free week subscription. Bye bye apple subscription. What a wasted click bait on an Instagram ad. Can we rate this lower than one star? No?

Misleading advertisement. I feel part of the reason so many are upset is due to advertising on the apps end, I occasionally run across advertisements that say try for free, and sure I may not expect it to be free, however when you show a specific test, or someone using a specific feature thats locked behind a pay wall, i'd say there is an issue. Putting a try for free while also placing someone taking a test that you'd have to pay for is poor advertising, sure maybe you get someone to download it but it ends up being frustrating and misleading. Considering the app focuses on helping, it can be a huge let down for people to download an app, and realize they can't afford it and it's way too costly. I have downloaded this in the past, but not for the free features, and due to the features locked behind money I was fairly quick to uninstall. I only came back today due to an ad that was very misleading. Fix your ads for this because this app is not as free as you make it out to be. Once you do that i'm sure it'd be a lot better, because at the moment when I clicked it there was a lot of try for frees all over the site, when you only have a small amount actually accessible to people. I would likely retract my bad rating and review if that problem was actually fixed.

Before downloading, consider whether you want to pay for the app. This review might seem unfair, as I haven’t been able to test much, if any, of the app. I came here from an ad on instagram claiming to “try for free” which displayed a test/questionnaire. Normally I don’t really mind when an app asks for money, I either use the free features or decide to pay. The problem here is that I couldn’t even explore the app at all to decide if it would be something I would like to pay for. From what I could tell, the app has both useful features as well as paid features that are widely accessible for free. This app could be useful if you like mood tracking or journaling digitally. I love the interface! All of the tests are standard or common so if you’ve ever taken therapy, seen a psychiatrist, or done basic personality tests online, it’s likely you’ve done these tests before. Not that it isn’t useful to track responses over time, but you don’t need to pay for these unless you want to. Some of the things I saw on the app seemed Freudian or pseudo science in nature which I personally disagree with. But it’s hard not to encounter that type of thing in the mental health realm lol. This app has potential. I think with added/changed features and a refined advertising strategy this app could be both helpful and reach its target audience.

Don’t waste your money on this app. I’m generally a pretty easy person to please and I really don’t mind paying for apps. But I was very disappointed in the premium version of this app. The aesthetics are very nice, yes, but there is very little substance to the app. As of now, there are only 19 tests, most if not all of which can be found online. The tests are riddled with typos, and some questions make no sense at all. There is also a disappointing number of courses, and they really only explore issues at a very surface level. A paragraph and a few lines of text (at BEST) is what constitutes a lesson. From the high price and advertisements I’ve seen, I was expecting a lot more substance. I have been diagnosed with a few mental issues which are moderate to severe, and I’ve been in therapy for a while. If you’re considering getting this app and have tried therapy before, it will be a waste. If you’ve never tried therapy, you may get something out of the lessons but it will be very shallow. I recommend checking out other online resources. The ONLY redeemable feature of this app is the mood tracker. I like how you can easily see how your mood fluctuates, the ease in tracking activities related to your moods, and the ability to add a photo to the day is a nice touch. And this feature is absolutely free. In short, free version - worth it. paid version - absolutely not.

Cannot cancel trial membership. I have been trying to cancel my trial membership but cannot get an answer from anyone. I have emailed your support as well as reached out on Instagram, where I initially signed up thru an ad you had there, and all I have received is what appears to be an auto-generated response on Instagram as no one has replied to me since then. I signed up thru your website, as I was directed to it from your ad, then downloaded the app after that. There is nowhere to cancel my trial membership. No options in the app, no links to your website and nothing I can find by searching for breeze or basenji, the parent company. I also checked subscriptions on PayPal and there is nothing there as well. The app seems nice enough but is just not for me and I want this cancelled before I get charged (I was on day 4 when first reaching out). The lack of response is extreme frustrating and aggravating. I am posting here because I don’t know what else to do and hope to see a timely response. Be very weary of signing up for the trial as there is apparently no way to easily cancel if you sign up thru one of their ads/online quizes!

Relationship. My man downloaded this app to learn about both himself & I . He wanted to see his strengths & weaknesses & even see mine , but mainly to try & see what he needs to change in our relationship / with was so sweet . This feed back he received was spot on & literally helped him to better understand some things I had been telling home and he finally was able to take the feed back & realize the truth & now he is going to make a change 🫶🏼 I am not perfect & have admitted to my wrongs but am currently taking the quiz so I can work on me & we can both do better . ~ LOVE HARDER & FOREVER ~ 7 years & at a rocky patch in the relationship but tonight we had so much clarity . Thank you sm to this app 🧘🏻‍♀️❤️❤️❤️

Okay but... I found this app. very cool but there is one.. not problem but thing I can’t do. I don’t have the money to spend on an app like this. I did the free trial and it was great but when it ended I could only access very few things. I understand that people need to make money in ways and that is how they make money but for people like me, who can’t spend the money on an app (difference between can’t and don’t want too) can’t access the whole thing and stuff that could and would help us. I’m not saying to change the whole app to be free cause I understand you need to make money as much as I do but I can spend my money on stuff like this. I understand your purpose of this app and I think it is great for people who have money to spend and think it would be a great investment to spend it on this I just individually can’t. But keep doing what you are doing and I think you will change peoples lives for the better. <3 Nikki

subscription. the test: “determine your psychological gender” the questions: are you happy? so. that’s a bit weird. a lot of the gender test is like that, actually. the developers have said that this isn’t a diagnostic tool, of course, but…. i have been clinical diagnosed with major generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder, along with ocd for some time now. my results on both the anxiety and depression test told me i had “””minor””” depression and anxiety. i think this app has loads of potential, but so many of the tools they use are outdated and don’t recognize “non traditional” symptoms of mental illness. you know how a lot of psychology is centered around young white men? this is that, if that concept was an app. a lot of the tests are incredibly black and white, too. like, you can be both logical and sympathetic. those things aren’t contradictions. people are multifaceted. i don’t think i need to point out the obvious issue with the payment being insanely high for a low quality service. run ads, y’all, there is absolutely no reason this should cost 9$/ WEEK. but, nearly everyone else has already said that in better words, so. go check those reviews out. also, using someone’s independence as a way to measure their gender is hella weird. do better.

Payments are necessary for a lot of the content. This app was not a breeze for me. I really love the concept of this app. I think it’s a brilliant idea and can truly help others gain new perspectives, even benefit themselves! However, the payment factor is an unfortunate one. Not to mention, they’re expensive. You’re paying 8.49 a week so around 50 dollars 💵 per month. Have fun with that one. I understand the developers have to make money somehow and if they’re reading this, they’ve probably already seen a lot of the views have a similar saying. I honestly downloaded this app for the QUIZZES. I like taking such along the topics. However, only ONE quiz that I found, out of around 16 of them, is for FREE. Most of the other lessons weren’t for free either and pretty much all you can do is record/track your day, play about for games (which was my favorite part, and that’s honestly all that I can think of. The only reason I’m giving this game 2 stars is just because of the idea and game concepts. If they allow more quizzes to be free and other features, I think more people would stay around longer (as most you can just take along.) Either way, I appreciate them reading these reviews and responding back. Please have a lovely day!

Not inclusive to disabled people in quizes. Some of the quizzes are great, but others are not. when it ask you about how your work effects you, how on earth am I as a disabled person who can’t work supposed to answer those kind of things? It assumes everyone can work, which is a bunch of boloney! Also, add some quizzes for abusive familial and friend relationships too. Not everyone has experienced a relationship, especially people like me who is autistic and has trouble with social cues, which makes it harder for people to like me. Not saying that is the case for every autistic person, but for me, my social cue issues come off too weird for people to want to be with me as a partner. A lot of people need help figuring out if their family or friends are abusive to them, so those would really beneficial kind of quizzes. Not everyone wants a relationship with people in a romantic way anyways. I do like other quizes such as the masculine and feminine psych test, which helped me feel affirmed with the result of androgynous. I also liked the ADHD and depression/anxiety tests, and so forth.

This app is a scam.. This app doesn’t make any sense, there are typos everywhere. For example, the pre-loaded markers for “what are you doing” when you submit a mood (e.g. “sad”) have some normal things like exercise and eating, but also some that are not even activities like, “travel tips.” The quizzes have questions that aren’t comprehensive by any means, which would be ok if they made any sense. The questions are sometimes not just poorly worded, but actually nonsensical. I hope no one uses these quizzes to figure out if they have signs of anxiety etc. I don’t know where they got these assessments but they appear autogenerated or something. For example, it will say “how often do you feel sad?” And then the options will be “not at all, mildly - it didn’t impact me.” The subscription is incredibly expensive for what this app is, which leads me to believe this is a scam. I used it for free for one day before canceling. I recommend using a different app. Update: I received a response asking for screen shots. I sent one screen shot to the developer, however the issues I’m citing above are so blatant and everywhere that it’s difficult for me to believe this is a bug. I would encourage anyone considering this app to exercise caution.

In app subscription.. Now I’m gonna start off by saying that this app is great! I love the very inclusive and caring feel it gives for people who struggle with mental health, addiction, recovery, etc. BUT this is the downside. We have to pay. Now I know the developers have to make money somehow but that’s what ads are for. I don’t want to pay for a subscription for self reporting tests and mood trackers. Respectfully I feel like if the devs truly cared about improvement for individuals and their struggles they would make all resources in this app easily accessible and this could also be a non profit app. Not everyone is gonna have money for this subscription. I know I don’t, regardless of having a job I have other expenses to take care of so this app would just be a waste of space if I can’t use it to its full potential. I’m not saying the company and people who developed this app shouldn’t get what they earned but like I said before there are ways of making apps free and using ads to gain profit. I would much rather have a great free app and deal with ads rather than having what could’ve been a great app that I unfortunately can’t use because I can’t afford it. I understand nothing in this world comes for free but taking care of myself and health shouldn’t come with an expense. I hope y’all take my response into consideration cuz I really did like this app. Y’all just gotta make it inclusive for everyone and anyone who needs it not just people who can afford it.

kind of buggy but i really like it. i really love this app! it has a really cute design that makes me want to use the app even more often. i really like the slider feature to choose your mood. although, if it is after a certain time of day, it changes the entry to the next day, instead of the current day? and there’s no way to edit this. when i go into the edit section, it says it is some day in September 2018. also, i got rid of all the presets in the “what have you been up to” section, because i wanted to only have my own, but the ‘+’ button went away when i deleted a few of them. so there is no way to add more anymore!! i really like the app, and the design is so cute!! i could get past the sometimes having the wrong date, but i hate that i’m going to have to uninstall and lose all of my entries, and reinstall in order to get the “what have you been up to” thingys back.

Not mental health oriented. So I used this app or tried to use it for a school assignment plus I needed an app to help me with my mental health and stress and I thought it would be great. It turns out that everything is blocked by a paywall and I’m a student I don’t have the money to pay for anything not only that the amount of ads makes it so much more stressful having to constantly refresh it. If your going to respond I do not want to know about your promotions and deals they are money oriented and that does not help. If things where changed I’d certainly rate higher

disgusting. Just like other users, i saw MULTIPLE ads on instagram for months on end. I finally downloaded it because i deal with a variety of mental health issues and of course you have to pay. It makes me pretty annoyed - if you are going to make an app FOR people who are suffering and just want answers on their issues, make it more accessible! i think it’s disgusting that you have to pay for the quiz’s. of course you have to make money but some people already have a hard enough time accessing doctors and psychologist!! i also noticed that similar reviews to mine, don’t get any answers back. only the positive reviews. i think that shows a lot.

Love it but one thing.... I love this app but I do not want to waste more money on this iPad I have finished the depression one but I want more to do because it works it really does I just deleted the app so can you tell me if you update it cause I will get it again thank you . Thanks for the new version.

AMAZINGG. I love breeze so much ! It’s basically the better version on notes . At some point I know we have all had a rant on notes to get how we were feeling out and that’s exactly what breeze if for!! 5 stars amazing app !!! ❤️❤️❤️

Too expensive. This app is okay but I can't do anything without having to pay. This would be a great app if you didn't have to pay or there was more stuff for free. Other then that, the app is terrible and I do not recommend downloading. Like I said before, it would be good if you didn't have to pay or there was more free options.

Money making app. You can’t even take a single test without it wanting you to pay!? Practically all you can do is write down how ur feeling, if I wanted to do that I could’ve just used notes instead of wasting my time downloading a stupid app!! Honestly this is ridiculous, there should at least be one free test that we can do so we know it’s worth paying, yes there’s a free trial, but it always makes you pay first! If I’m going to lay for an app, I at least want to know if it’s going to be worth it!!

Useful and educational. Find it really useful to track my moods and predict when my highs and lows are going to occur :)) have been using it for the past few years now and I love it!

Not free. If you have the money to spend then get this app it has premium on the add it’s saying it’s “free” which it is but you don’t have any of the game, courses or tests unlocked to unlock these you need premium (money) based on the fact that it says it’s free I would give it 4 stars but the fact that it has premium and you have to unlock games, courses and tests that tell you about your mental health I’m giving it a 1 star. I’m very sorry to the people that made this app.

Incorrect assessment. I took the mood disorder test to see you if it would correctly guess that I had bipolar (which I have been diagnosed by a professional). I answered yes to every question that would conclude I have it. And I got a negative result.... Also these questions were testing for bipolar, etc. yet there were no questions about depressive episode. Only manic episodes. Might need to reevaluate your tests.

Good app but not worth it. The app itself was good I used it for a little while then stopped having the spare time in the day. I didn’t cancel for a while (my bad) but when I looked at the billing history I had been charged twice in one bill more than once! Not really worth the follow up it was maybe $50 I lost but still keep an eye out folks

My problem with the app. So i saw an add on instagram for this app and figured i would try it out, i clicked around and saw a test that i had to pay for just about everything. I obviously under that if you are going to make an app it is preferred to be able to make money from it BUT if you are making an app about mental health and helping yourself i think that there should be much more free access for people who may not have the recourses to pay for this app or therapy. I think that it is a cute app overall though.

Disagree with subscription. I would love to use this service, this is a great utility. Let me! The last someone having mental health troubles wants is a monthly fee looking over them. Like, make a limited version for free users to get used to the program, with ads, and incentivise people to buy the full version. There’s no need for a service like this to have such a predatory business practice. One of the effective advertising campaigns in mental health is word of mouth, offering a one time payment option will allow people to more easily recommend this. Hearing something has a subscription model is a major turn off for the consumer, people are never excited about it, they begrudgingly accept. The app is great, it’s just the business model that needs a rework.

can’t give information. so i found this app on instagram, and i downloaded it to check it out. so far it has been good, but i hate that you can’t give any optional information about yourself! i have severe anxiety and lately i’ve been alright dealing with it, but i took and anxiety test on the app and the results were “nothing to worry about”. like 😫? i’m sorry but the reason it says nothing to worry about is because i can’t give my information about disorders i ACTUALLY have! seriously. please update that and change it so there can be a button and you can write your disorder(s)/problems and reason why you want to use this app. obviously, it will be optional, so people who don’t wanna share information about themselves don’t have to. thank you, and goodbye!

Love it!. Makes me feel so calm and I get to vent about my day to something and get it off my chest, sometimes the person I usually vent to is the person who makes me upset so now I can still vent <3

Paid content. Everything is with a subscription minus a few things, nothing indicates if it’s locked or not so it’s trial and error to figure it out and have to click no to subscribing twice each time you pick something behind the pay wall, If you don’t indicate what’s free and what’s not it will make people uninstall without going further into the app or testing things. Make more of it free or indicate what is actually able to be used, Don’t shove a paid subscription down our throats.

Loving the app but it could always improve. I love the look of the app, just opening it makes me feel a bit lighter (like a cloud). There some things I find confusing with regards to layout and accessibility but I’m getting used to it. I’m in the basic plan and am nervous to pay more because I’m not sure if the app suits my needs just yet but I guess we will see. Still love it so far though :)

Loving this app. I’m really enjoying using this app. Wondering if I can export the data? Somehow I’m writing quite a bit in the notes each day, it’s like a mix of journaling and talking to a friend - so I’d like to be able to export it as a .csv file.

Lost my trust immediately. For an app designed to explore vulnerabilities, it failed immediately. It caught my attention when adverted for people with childhood trauma. I downloaded it, made the account. It offered a free trial so I accepted. It immediately charged me for a weeks access. It’s meant to be a free trial. Next I explore a bit. Nothing there about childhood trauma. It’s misleading from the get go and not worth it. Addit - the developer contacted me and apologised for “my misunderstanding and confusion”. Massive red flag. The ad offered something specific and then failed to deliver. They took money at the beginning of a FREE trial - I’m not confused. Seems a developer is gaslighting vulnerable people.

Misleading and exploitative. This app draws you in with its lovely features and promises of help, but only after you’ve downloaded the app and started building a profile does it let you know that all features of the app are only available with an additional weekly subscription fee. If an appointment with a psych is $50, monthly, and this is $12 weekly, it amounts to the same cost. This is a great app for the people who can afford it, but for the people who can’t afford therapy in the first place and are looking for something to help bridge that gap, this is not it.

Alright, but not great.. The results from the tests gave very minimal information and left me wanting. The courses where very basic and really not that informative. It would be good to see the app combine all the different test results to give you a good complete picture of yourself if that is even possible.

Boooo!!!!. I’ve been having some issues with my mental health for a long time now, I like little apps that can help even slightly, with all the advertisements i’ve seen of breeze: I decided to give it a go, The moment I try opening absolutely anything, It tries getting me to buy premium. I could quite literally only do 1 test due to the rest being premium. I don’t see why I would have to pay for so much. nor do I see why someone would waste money on a mental health app when there are far better ones for free. overall, i’d like if this app was not such a waste. a subscription is more irritating than you’d believe. perhaps they’ll change this one day; but for now i’ll stick to greater apps.

Simple. The basic idea of a selecting your moods & activities for the day with a brief description is really good. Not too in-depth that I loose motivation. Would be better if it asked for your activities first then mood to promote a more guided daily reflection. 4 stars coz the extra courses etc are a bit lame.

Good, but needs improvement. While some more useful benefits of this app are behind a paywall, there's still a lot to love about it. Cute, simple and calming design, a variety of emotions and feelings, the ability to view trends over time — lovely. I do have my criticisms. It would be helpful to have a time-sensitive lock, or an option to lock it while in the app if someone looks over. The ads sometimes interrupt me inputting my password, so better advertisement timing would be good. The statistics were moved in the last update; they were most beneficial where they were, now they're difficult to find despite being most helpful. The unhappy-sad-bad-ok-good-great-happy slider was more useful than the simplified one unhappy-bad-ok-good-happy. A happy customer, but the app does need clear improvement.

Irresponsible. Unbelievably shameful pure money making app. A few years ago, someone discovered, “hey there are a lot of people with mental health issues, let’s exploit their problems for money.” Pretty shocking huh? Exactly, this app is no different. Every single test you want to do, well too bad, you’ve gotta pay for it. After seeing that and the prices, I exited the application, and deleted it for wasting my time. It is simply not justifiable to charge ludicrous amounts for a basic test, (not backed by any actual research and expects you to believe the results) when you could literally Google ‘depression test’, ‘anxiety tests’ and do those for free. They even put a disclaimer in mentioning that it’s not gospel, but rather a result to give you a rough idea. Now these guys are not the only ones guilty of this crime, places like headspace do the same thing too for their meditation, mindfulness activities, and sleep casts. It’s not good for people who actually struggle with their mental health at all. The people whom run these applications don’t care as long as someone is foolish enough to pay for it, everything is okay.

I love this app but…. This app is really good and helps me keep track of my moods but it is a bit annoying how i can’t put a password without having to pay and i can’t do some stuff without having to pay. but this app is really good and i do suggest it if you happy sad or any other mood!

Not great.. It’s nice I can write down how I’ve been feeling and there’s a lock on it so no one else is able to read it but why do we have to pay for extras like something as little as changing the colour scheme? Being able to change that would definitely make it more inviting. I don’t see why someone would make an app for people struggling with their mental health but then have ads and in-app purchases. Isn’t the goal to help others not make it more stressful? The only time I feel a little relief is when I can write down and let go of what’s bothering me. Can someone change this or at least make it reasonably affordable? A lot of people with severe mental health issues (such as myself) don’t have much.

Unable to find tests advertised and pricing confusion. Downloaded wanted to do the toxic person test and can not find it in the app. You have to sign up for a 7 day free trial then $12 a week, but in the app some pricing is $44 per year. I am confused on the pricing and no where to get clarity. For a mental Heath app and a person who provides mental Heath care I am struggling recommending this app to a person who could use it. The developers could add some features that are not through a paid firewall including personalisation. Maybe add 3 tests and if you advertise a test make sure it is there. I concerned that this is a money grab from vulnerable people.

The issue everyone is talking about.. This app is about mental health and I don’t we should pay for every course, like every single one you guys have made is all needing purchases. I don’t think that’s fair, how about some can be with money like you have to pay for and some that are serious topics or about mental should be free.

It’s a great app!. I’ve had this app for around 6 months now and it’s easy to just write a bit about your day and it only takes a few minutes. I don’t have premium but that doesn’t seem to stop me from doing much. I really love this app :)

everything it needs to be. breeze really helps me work out how to express myself and calm my anxiety. it really does its job and helps me track my mood, sleep and makes me feel welcome. i would wish that some of the games were free but that’s like every other app. not everything is free of course. in my opinion, just get the app, it’s done so much for me recently and i hope it can help another person out. that’s all ;)

Pay to play for mental health. I came to this app after seeing ads for it everywhere and figured I needed some help and after downloading I found next to no help because everything that could’ve been useful to me was locked behind a paywall. Couldn’t find an ounce of help without being told I had to pay for it. Given I needed just a tiny bit of something and all I got was the good old “seven day free trial that requires your credit card info” this was extremely dissatisfying. Would give 0/5 if possible

Wow the display is awful on an iPad!. Had a quick look at this on my phone yesterday and looked OK, just downloaded onto my iPad OMG. One of the very few apps that hasn't been designed to fit on an iPad screen, are we still in 2010? No we can't be because back then apps cost a dollar or two, but for this we are expected to pay $129pa!! Extremely disappointed

I have to pay. I have been looking at the reviews and I see the main issue is money. I’m a high school student that suffers from anxiety and depression, I was hoping to understand myself better with this app. Although I was quickly disappointed, I know this app it great for checkups, but I want to understand myself and help myself recover

Probably the best journal app ever. This app is perfect for me. I just needed some place to write my feeing emotions and how my day was. The app makes me write what I am thankful/grateful for, this helps me to realise how much I really do have. I just over all love this app.

Not bad!. The style of the app is really easy to use and the tests you can do are definitely interesting. Not quite accurate for someone with a personality disorder (such as bpd) but I guess that’s obvious 😂 could be really helpful to track emotions/feelings and understand more common mental illnesses though.

Why am I paying for my own mental health!?. All the tests like “what triggers your anxiety” need to be PAID FOR Like seriously I thought you wanted to help people not make them pay for their own mental health, however I do enjoy all the other aspects like the mini games and how creative the check-ins are

Great, however-. I think this app is great. It collects all your mood stats and adds them up wonderfully which is great to visualise how your mood flows throughout the year. However the fact that it’s got in-app purchases and a ‘premium’ mode is kinda outrageous. People should be able to track their mental health without having to pay for it. Honestly, an app made for mental health shouldn’t be used to get money but just to help people. It’s frustrating to see that there are more options and further parts of the app but can’t get to them because of payments. Overall I’d say it’s a great app but seriously, why charge someone that just wants to keep track of their mental health??

Great for mental health. So far it has been great I need to track my moods through the day for therapy to see the contrast in them and it’s really easy and efficient to type everything in or just press an icon also helps to recognise how I’m feeling if you struggle with a mood disorder like I do an have very bad memory I would very much recommend it to keep track of things.

why do i have to pay to do what’s advertised? NOT WORTH IT. i was getting adds for this app A LOT on my social media so i decided to download it bc i have been really struggling with my mental health. the main reason i got it was bc of the advertisement for all the different tests and quizzes and i enjoy doing that because for me it sometimes gives answers that i can work on for different aspects of my mental health and my personality. however EVERY SINGLE TEST i could not do unless i paid?!!??? what’s the purpose. i don’t have enough money to spend on an app. the main features that are depicted in 90% of the ads you cannot actually do unless you pay for the subscription. i don’t understand why someone would make an app for people suffering mentally but they can’t actually use the majority of the features unless they spend money on it. which by the way, a lot of people suffering mentally do not have much money, and definitely do not have disposable money for an app that’s meant to be made for them to help them. try to make it more suitable and helpful and cheaper, because at this point it’s helping no one but the people with money.

Deleted all my entries :((((. I’ve been using this app for a while to keep track of my moods and this new update deleted all my daily entries!!! I’m super disappointed, it feels like I put so much time into this app for nothing. I’m also disappointed that I now have to type out my moods, I feel like it was easier to get my emotions out by finding the right word and not having to think of it. Honesty will probably end up deleting it because it’s too much effort now. 💔

Shocking! Money grabbers!. I kept getting ads for this app so I thought I would download it. I quickly deleted it after seeing it wasn’t for me but I was charged twice for subscription? I thought they must’ve somehow gotten my info from the App Store but once communicating with them through email, they said that I had gone in their website and filled out an extensive subscription form?? Never have I been on their website before! Don’t go on this app if you want to keep your money!

Love the app, hate the colour scheme. I love using the app, I’ve found it really helpful. Very user friendly and adaptable to your needs. However I find the colours super uninspiring, especially the Year in Pixels, going from poopy brown to a storm cloud grey blue to document the range between our sad to happy moods is not great. Please give us colour options so we can make it more individual, or at least go back to the previous colour scheme of red for sad to green for happy. It’s the only thing i would change!

Waste of time. Hard to log into? That’s one, two I wanted to see and try the quizzes to see if it could prove anything NOPE one thing it can prove, money. Hey want to reflect on your mental health? Give Us Money. Like WHAT! I “reflected on my day” then TRIED to do the quiz but “get started” meant pay money. BUT LIKE why can’t we have a app that tries to help you with mental health that we don’t have to pay for it should be free!!

Alrighttt sooo. I recently downloaded the app and it’s pretty good. I don’t like that you have to pay so much? I understand that we all need money, but ughhhh I can’t afford it, and I believe most people might agree. Otherwise, I think the app is heading in a good direction.

Paid for lifetime subscription and got nothing. I paid for a lifetime subscription, the money was taken out of my bank account and I don’t have the full app, it still says I have the free account which expires in a days time. I’ve tried reporting an issue which doesn’t work and there is no way to try and get a refund. I’m very upset. The app is great but paying out money to get nothing and no way to sort this out is a nightmare.

Irresponsible.. Want to better yourself and your life quality? Want to improve your mental health and work on your personal drawbacks? Well…too bad because you can’t afford it. This app is advertised across so many platforms as an accessible way to try to navigate the difficulties of life these days and improve your handling of such times but honestly is just as big a money grab of a scam as 98% of “mental health” apps that exist these days. Extortion of the vulnerable shouldn’t be allowed to be so widely publicised and the developers should be ashamed. I know everyone needs to make money and a living - but DO NOT be irresponsible enough to claim you are trying to help those who need it only to crush them back into the ground with your ridiculously high paywalls. Honestly cheaper to just go see a professional. Sincerely, Disgusted and still mentally ill.

Subscription is tricky and getting help is hard. As of this moment, I simply am unable to unsubscribe. Can’t do it on the App Store as the subscription doesn’t show up. No sign of it on the App Store payment history. (It’s hard to claim a refund from App Store when the payment does not show in the first place!) Support is hard to come by. Email takes forever, and their website is just a placeholder of sorts. Very horrible experience. So much for mental health.

Disingenuous advertising. I’m downloaded Breeze after a seeing an advertisement that implied the app had habit tracking functions. This implication is also made in a recent post on their Instagram account — however, this feature is not part of the app. I can see from Instagram comments that other people feel similarly disappointed. Would not have downloaded (and more importantly, PAID) for this app if I had known there was no such option. Please consider removing these disingenuous advertisements and posts.

Unethical. Big fan of your intentions, and mood/symptom tracking. But please refer to some of your “psychological tests” as “quizzes” if they are yet to be validated in research. Being more transparent helps prevent misinformation and self-diagnosis, and also doesn’t imply that a psychological test is something one can do via an app rather than seeing a psychologist. I don’t believe Aaron Beck (the developer of one of your actually validated tests) would be pleased!

Be Warned. I did the childhood trauma test, thought it might be ok to subscribe to do some other tests and be encouraged to write more. I had misread the 7 day trial and thought it was free. Had a super busy week and forgot I’d even signed up until I saw 2 charges taken from my bank. I was confused as I had no confirmation email and no purchase history through Apple. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful. They cancelled my subscription straight away and offered a refund on the first months payment. I didn’t even use the app but was happy with the explanations from Kateryna and the refund. Would I recommend this app No, they are quick to take your money and reports from many others say they same, I was lucky I got some refund

Took my money. I downloaded this app and it told me i could make a $1 donation to help pay for the app and workers cost, that’s all i could afford to donate. then i get charged $27.90 for I don’t even know what, after deleting it. i am a student and cant afford this like that’s why i chose a $1 donation

Not free. Advertised as free with in app purchases. Actually costs $10.49/wk.

Review - use premium within the App Store never on their website.. Please don’t spend your money on this app, unless you absolutely have too. I accidentally resigned up for this through a website & contacted customer service. I deleted my account to create a new one to see if i could now get my 7 day trail free. However it will not let you have the trail for free again, with a new account @ the same email address. I contact their customer support due to it being over the website & for 3 days they’ve been trying to pro- long my cancellation & refund. They aren’t fast at answering any emails either, this app wasn’t the worst or the best but the customer service I experienced just made realize I don’t want these people getting any more of my money. As I worked customer service for 10 years I know what to say & do when a customer is upset about something. Completely unacceptable & disappointed & will be deleting the app for good now. If you choose to pay for premium please make sure to do it from your App Store so that way you have complete control over it.

Pay. You have to pay for this

Only wants your money. Waste of time, unless you want to spend lots of money. Don’t get it

Advertising free... it’s not. Hello You should fix the advertising that many people see on social media. Your company is advertising that the download is free. Then when you download, it says after 3 days you will be charged. I just downloaded today & I want to cancel BEFORE I get charged. I contacted apple support & they have stopped the payment from going through in 3 days. Please fix the problem at your end. Your advertising FREE DOWNLOAD but it’s not.

$$. The app itself is awesome. There’s tests and new ways to discover yourself and help yourself. Fun little games you can use as distractions in it which is pretty cool The only downside, it costs money to do most of those things… you can’t take 90% of the tests and other things without paying. I understand why you’d need to pay but let’s say for a person with financial issues as well as a bunch of mental issues on top of that couldn’t rlly do anything with this app

Stop using mental health to get money it’s disgusting 🤢. I got this app thinking it help me because I can’t afford therapy but of course you’re using peoples mental health to get money absolutely disgusting and unacceptable

Keeps renewing no way to cancel. Very disappointed. Signed up one night to see what it is about. No way to cancel. Lied about the price and keeps charging me. Don’t waste your time or money

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I hope nobody wastes their money on this excuse of an app…these quizzes are everywhere online and available FOR FREE!!!! Mental health should never be something to grab money from, it is more important than that….😡😒😞 Please anyone that reads the reviews be aware that this app is 100% a money grab. If you are wondering about mental health please just search on google; there are so many of these quizzes available online for free. There are also books that you can purchase with quizzes to help guide you to some possible answers. Then reach out to your family physician or search your local health care for resources that can help.

THEY CHARGE YOU AFTER DELETING. This app said free for 7 days. I took screenshots when cancelling the app then deleted it. I used it for 5 days not 7 just to be sure I cancelled in time. They still charged me!

Click bait. I saw an ad on Instagram about a quiz. And when I got onto the app i could not find it. Click bait. Ugh!

yep. this app is cool- its so fun to do and takes my mind off of depression and stuff- thank you for making this app:)))

Just don’t download. I saw an add on instagram for this app but I would not recommend downloading because it makes you pay for everything single thing and mental heath is important and you shouldn’t have to pay money to get help

$10/week. This app’s target audience is most likely ppl with high income. Low-middle income households won’t be able to afford $10/week, just like they wouldn’t be able to afford $50-$100/hour session with a therapist. I don’t blame the company for wanting a high profit, but the way I see this is that the user experience only cater toward a certain segment. I would probably rate it a 2 stars if it was $10/month. 5 stars if they had an improved pricing model. Like for example, if they set it as a tier pricing system - $2/month to unlock certain tests, $5/month to unlock more features and $10/month to unlock all the features. That’s my take on this app as a marketing and UI/UX design student.

Bay wall block. Horrible design wall the app is free everything is locked behind a subscription pay wall ones you get in the app, god forbid you make something to actually help without gouging money out of them

Scam. Didnt even subscribed to this but theh already charged me 2x!!!! What a scam! Refund my money!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. Edit: despite cancelling within the free trial period, they have attempted to charge my credit card 3 separate times for 3 different amounts. I received an auto reply to my request for help and they have ignored my follow up requests. The standard reply here from the developer seems to be to contact them with more details, but why would I want to give this company more of my information? After taking the ADHD quiz through a social media app I downloaded the app for the results and to see if it would work for me. The results from the quiz didn’t transfer and I was going to have to take the quiz again (not great if you have ADHD) so I immediately cancelled my free trial. I could tell already this app wasn’t the right fit for me if o had to duplicate the task. Got a notification from my bank that the app is trying to bill me $27.99??? Confirmed in my Apple subscriptions that I did indeed cancel during the free trial. Overall, an app designed for mental health that I was ad targeted for for ADHD seems to be taking advantage of the executive function deficits and I can’t even tell on the app how to confirm I’m not going to continue to be charged.

I’d give zero stars if I could. DO NOT waste your money. This app is a complete scam & money grab. Unfortunately an Instagram ad pulled me in and I succumbed to signing up for the free trial…I decided to cancel it after two days and couldn’t find anywhere to cancel it from the app, nor by searching online for their website. So I emailed support and received an automated response “confirming the receipt of my cancellation request”…that was 3 days ago and I’ve not received a response…yet their app continues to attempt charges. Ironic an app advertised for “mental health” makes this process so complicated. Your app has given me more anxiety, not the other way around.

The ads lie. The ads show a different experience than the actual app

Kept changing me. Charged me for over a year after canceled subscription. Had to change my Apple ID because it just wouldn’t stop. This is insane!! DONT DOWNLOAD THIS

Don’t Subscribe For Free Trial! It’s a Scam!. I was curious to try this app as someone who struggles with mental health. After I decided it wasn’t the best fit for my needs, I canceled my free trial through my Apple subscription account. Breeze has been charging my credit card monthly since. I now canceled my credit card which has become a big stressor. The company is hard to get a hold of and make it difficult to get a refund. This App and its misuse of subscription payment information has triggered the anxiety I was looking to treat. Avoid this app at all costs! There are better apps for mental health out there that won’t compromise your payment information.

Scam!. I took a chance on this app, in which upon signing up are prompted with a suggested payment option for a 7 day trial. Like some of the other reviews have mentioned, there was nothing particularly special with this app and the content can be found for free on the internet. After my trial, I deleted the app only to find they had taken my billing info, signed me up for automatic payments without my consent and billed me. Now I’m trying to get a refund.I do not recommend, this app is a scam.

Dont waste your money. The quizzes are readily available online FOR FREE. Breeze costs 10.49 a Week!! This is a disgusting cash grab targeting people who need HELP. There is no actual mental health help here. Theres a test that will call you Karen as a personality type, these are not “real” and cannot help you on your journey if you are seeking answers.

Tests are far too generalized & inaccurate. Every test I’ve tried I’ve had to exit before I could finish because the options were inapplicable or didn’t make sense for me. Every person is unique and situations are different. There isn’t always a clear cut answer. More versatility is needed. I found no knowledge or helpful information within this app. I love the concept but hate the execution.

Nice concept, false advertising. They choose to use a quiz in an ad, when you go to see more it says “try for free” 🧢🧢🧢 I just wanna know if I’m a toxic fella or not.

SCAMMM. I downloaded this because it came up as an ad and I was curious. It asks you to do a free trial for a week then pay $10.49 a week after the trial. Immediately after I clicked “free trial” they charged me $6.08!!! I understand that’s not a lot of money, but it’s the fact that any money was charged to me as it is suppose to be a “free trial”. Scam app, don’t even waste your time!!! 😡😡

Just bad bro the app edges me!.. You need to stop making false advertisements and say the apps free when clearly it ain’t. Money grabbers I’m gonna come after u. U guys better sleep wit one eye opened tonight. YALL ain’t safe for a lifetime

Would not recommend. Save yourself the trouble and don’t even download this.

Incredibly difficult to cancel. I’ve never written a review for an app before but I had to for this one. I wish I had read the reviews before I got sucked in to doing the tests by an Instagram ad. It charges you on a weekly basis, and there is no way to cancel through Apple subscriptions you have to email the app directly which is very frustrating. Do not download

Sad garbage. As soon as i opened the app and it asks to sign up for a free trial I walked away, if anyone that reads this feels like they should be paying for mental health help please go get a therapist instead something that will actually bounce ideas with you and get you proper support.

Kept charging me. I signed up for the free trial then deleted my account and kept charging my card. Ran me up like 50$. Apple refunded me but this app is a scam.

Difficulty canceling. Company continues to bill once you’ve cancelled

Scam. Do not purchase this app. Everything in the app can be found for free online. If you cancel it make sure you take a picture of the cancellation. They continue to charge you after you cancel it and then do not give refunds because THEY don’t send cancellation emails.

Highly Insensitive. It’s not free. You have to give payment information immediately, even to start the 3 day “free” trial. Also, Breeze creators, you can’t “beat” depression. That’s not how depression works. And you don’t just “overcome” anxiety. That’s not how anxiety works. Phrasing it that way is incorrect, insensitive and damaging. Try “find ways to help cope with depression/anxiety”.

This is an scam. I signed up and then it is not allowing me to cancel the subscription, doesn’t have a support area where I can complain and they keep charging me

Charged for cancelled subscription.. Signed up for free trial and cancelled the same day. Was charged for two months after cancelling.

False ads. Yet another app that is riddled with false advertising and actually an expensive app with low functionality. Steer clear. It’s disgusting with these advertising practices.

SCAM. Don’t use or buy anything from this app!!! I sent them 1$ and now they charge me 27.99$ A MONTH and won’t stop! Edit ; I’ve contacted the email and nothing back at all yet 😤

No just no. What kind of app makes you pay to help you with depression?

STOP CHARGING MY ACCOUNT!. This app is fake and a scam. Stop charging my account and refund.

Don’t download it!!!. You need to pay, 10$ if you want to do the quiz

Scam, Scam, Scam!!!. The subscription does not show up in your Apple account, like it’s supposed to. You can’t cancel on their website with an account. You have to write to request cancellation and if you don’t, they send you a highlighted screen shot of the incredibly hard to find fine print. Out right scam. Do not download this app!!!

Evil Company. This app romanticizes mental health issues and makes it easy for children who don’t understand what their actually going through get confused and think they have mental disorders. All this app does is capitalize off of people who don’t know any better. Apps like this are the reason mental health is on a steady decline, not from people getting help, but people who don’t have disorders saying that they do and having this as an excuse. It undermines the people who really do have these disorders and makes it harder for them to get legitimate health. AN APP IS NOT A THERAPIST! AN APP IS NOT A DOCTOR! YOU DO NOT NEED A MULTIPLE CHOICE TO SEE IF YOU HAVE TRAUMA! Whoever developed this app is disgusting. I don’t care if you thought you were helping, intent does not matter. Only consequences. You are disgusting people and are trying to capitalize on children who don’t know their emotions yet.

Warning! Can't cancel payments easily.. I had to go through my credit card company to cancel this subscription. Not worth it.

Money Grab. Purchases don’t show up via Apple Store but direct to credit card. Tried to cancel and couldn’t. Had to get the credit card company to put a block on future transactions.

Scam. They will keep charging your credit card even after you’ve cancelled your free trail. This is now the second month they’ve charged me. Oh and the “support” email doesn’t respond

Don’t Bother. False advertising and then unable to cancel. Was advertised this app on instagram in order to learn something new about ADHD. I filled out the initial quiz and got zero feedback on those questions. When I did sign up for the trial that information still wasn’t provided. Obviously decided not to continue and then tried to find information on how to not be charged. The website said to cancel in App Store. It said nothing about website sign ups. So I deleted my account and then was changed anyway, and they won’t refund the charge even though it was due to their lack of information.

Need to pay for everything. waste of money you can just go on websites and do it for free

Cancelled app before trial ended, still charged.. RUNAWAY! Not worth it! They take your credit card info (ask you for a small fee). They do not make it easy to cancel. I deleted the app before my seven day trial. Was over I double checked and no longer sign in and I was still charged $19.99 US. I spoke to multiple people on the support team, some of which just kept sending me around fore circles, and finally just said they can do nothing. Super unprofessional. Very unhelpful. I would avoid anything from this developer!

I don’t know how to feel. It’s a nice app I will say that but if you don’t have premium you have almost no access to anything. You can’t to most of the tests and it’s really hard to find the ones that you can do. There are like no courses you can do. Why have a free app if you won’t give even a little bit of access to all of the cool features to the people that can’t pay the 9 dollars every month? It is kinda frustrating but I like the fact that you can record how you’re feeling each day. If you have the money to buy premium, do it.

My honest review. This app is great! I truly enjoy being able to track what I feel is very nice. The only thing I would like to say about this app the doesn’t make it a better review would be the fact the most of the quizzes that I would take I had to buy. Most people make money and have an income. ur for those of us who don’t and want a good app to help them. It makes it very difficult to use if the things like the quizzes have pop up screens to buy a membership. Now I understand that they have to make money somehow but it makes it very hard to live this app without being able to use it to its fullest.

Games were fun but tests were unhelpful. I can see how things like mood tracking and such would be helpful for many people and I did quite like the games. However the tests felt like they either gave obvious or incorrect answers (I took most of them for fun, just wanting to see what they might say). For example the adhd self assessment said I likely had adhd but I know I do not. I have autism and some of the symptoms overlap. Though I’m not sure how this could be fixed in the app. Also, I did not like the “masculine or feminine” test. It just basically listed traits and defined them as masculine or feminine based on societal standards

Don’t buy. Bought this on a whim and tried out the free trial. I did 5 quizzes and played both games and it seems these quizzes are just asked you questions focused on one subject ENTIRELY and gives you simple answers that you know it’ll give a certain outcome to. There’s a quiz titled “emotional burnout” and some 90% of the questions asked about how tired you usually are from work… there’s an introvert/extrovert quiz on here too that basically will tell you whatever you wanna hear based off your simple answers of what you prefer when it comes to outside vs inside activities. Don’t recommend this quizlet/buzzfeed type of “mental awareness” app that just tells you and asks you obvious stuff.

Super cute BUUUUT....... I’m loving this really cute app however there’s a reason for 3/5 stars, I wish developers could make it compatible for the iPad not just an extended size of the iPhone app, also having to watch videos to unlock basic features like adding a passcode (for my personal privacy) I watch as many videos as I can but I only have so ,UCB time on the day lol. I would love to unlock all the features of the app but it’s just a little too pricey for me ☹️. Overall I definitely recommend this app to anyone looking to track how they feel, it’s definitely given me more time to reflect on myselfjist by asking simply what I’m grateful for everyday.

This is so helpful. This is so helpful I don’t know what to say I have so much problems that I can’t fix on my own but I when to the App Store and I searched mood and there it was I it helped a lot so you should really get this app if you want I mean it’s up to you if not you can just read this review and say “nah I wanna watch Disney+” because you are so depressed you r just watching the Simpson and not getting this app and you probably are saying this is to long I’m not going to read it like I was but if you got all the way down here I’m proud of you good job you deserve a wonderful app like this alright I’m done here bye.

Not A Good Resource. The UX is beautiful. The colors, themes, and ease of use are great. That’s really where the value stops. The questionnaires are awful quality and truthfully pose a risk to potential mental health patients being told they don’t have something they may actually have. The anxiety quiz only looks at some of the physical expressions of anxiety that can be present for some cases…but not all. It asked almost none of the mental questions such as how often someone is worried, are they unable to sleep because they’re nervous/worried/etc.. The Introvert/Extrovert quiz is another where the content is severely lacking. For the price, you need a content strategist with a background in mental health. Because at this point it’s overpriced for crap content.

Beautiful and insightful, but the typos.... Beautiful layout, informational articles and quizzes, but the typos are distracting. For example, when reading about my Jungian personality type in romantic relationships, the results read: "INFJs thrive in relationships where their partner puts in an equal amount of effort. They tend to look for partners who are trustworthy and encouraging. They want to feel fully loved and accepted as they are in a relationship and give up on their partner." This was more than likely supposed to say "WON'T give up on their partner". If the typos could be located and corrected, this app would be 5 stars.

Wonderful but Buggy. So far use of this app has been enjoyable. It really helps me stay in tune with myself and understanding emotions. The only complaint I have is I can not customize my settings more. I’d like to have access to my account and profile information etc. I’d like to be able to delete it once I no longer need the app. There is nothing like this showing for me. Additionally there was some other issues like my entries not saving correctly and quotes being repetitive, but it seems they have been corrected for now.

Too Many Grammar Issues to Use. This app can be great, but it isn’t there yet. It is full of grammatical errors, and the reporting tool for typos is not functioning (or if it is functioning, there is no feedback to tell you so). I love the variety of tests to take, but sadly, some of the questions are indecipherable due to grammar, spelling, and maybe even incorrect word usage, so I have little confidence in my answers. I would be happy to pay for an app like this if it was more complete, so I’ll check back in a few months. I recommend hiring an hourly editor for a day or two to fix the blaring issues.

The tests on this app are NOT valid or real diagnoses. The tests on this app aren’t valid. Not only do the tests cost money but they also encourage self diagnosing. I don’t know if there’s a warning saying “This isn’t a valid diagnosis, just a reason to talk to a professional.” but if there isn’t, that is harmful & misleading. No online quiz or test can give real diagnoses, only professionals can. If you relate to the questions they ask, please reach out to a REAL therapist, psychologist or a professional in general. I advise you to take these tests off your app because either way, warning or not, some people will still think of it as a real diagnosis. Thank you for reading, have a pleasant rest of your day/night.

Very good. I’ve had this app for only a few weeks now. It feels really good to be able to keep track of my mental health this way. Whenever i have really tough times or am at a low and i remember to add to the app; it makes me take a step back and really think on why i feel the way i do. Helps a lot!!! The only thing i wish was different is the layout of the front page where your timeline is. It’s just a little confusing and annoying to navigate sometimes, other than that great app!!

This app is amazing but. This is app I great but somethings it kicks me out so I totally recommend it but I had an update so maybe that is the problem. I always check the views before I get the app but a lot of them said it was great but some where not. Oh to the people who are says g it is a bad app. It is great your just mad cus your still paying for it and you could ask them NICELY to cancel instead of literally making the app sound like it pays you for just logging in to it. In my opinion I think it is the best mood jurnal ever.

Affordability issues. I’m not sure who this app is geared toward, but it’s clearly not young adults or students. I’ve seen the developers response about people “disagreeing” with their “pricing policy” but I just think it’s ridiculous. I was like oh wow only $8 a month, that’s great! Little did I know, that was only if you pay $100 up front. I wanted my partner to get this app because he cannot get a therapist and is on a waitlist. He struggled with bad depression, and I told him he should get the app to help him in the mean time since he’s really been struggling. Unfortunately, money is also an issue for him. Proof that money is needed to get access to mental health care. An app for mental health that truly wants to help it’s users would NOT COST THIS MUCH!

Advertisement/Trials. This app made me fustrated. Everything I pressed and every time I wanted to explore something new, or even exit something – The Free Trial subscription came up! It was so annoying. I only had this app for about a week until I deleted it since everytime I tried to access something the add would pop up. And not to mention almost everything requires the subscription! – It haunted me. I wasn't able to do anything in this app other than press the X at the top of the subscription adversary. Overall, do NOT waste your time getting this app. I mean, unless you want to spend more time clicking an X that pops up every minute.

Something evil. Theres something really evil about trying to make this much money off of peoples mental health and their want to get better. Its as if saying “if you pay this you will get better.” Although the app is very nicely made, the subscription cost is way too much for the content. You can find the same information online for free. The only thing this app provides are the mood tracker and the tests all in one place. For $8-$9 a week, its not worth the tracker. You can get a notebook for $1 at a store and ask yourself everyday how you are feeling. There are actual help thats out there for free. Dont fall for this pricing

So far looks good. I recently got the app, and from my first look around it looks to be a great app! Of course I wish a few other features are free, I feel like there is enough given already, so you can’t really ask for more :). I get the idea that the money if for premium features, but who wouldn’t like everything for free am I right? Anyway, starting off at 5 stars since this app doesn’t seem to be problematic, and I feel like it will help me out in the long run

Really cool, but very pricey. I have had really bad anxiety as of late and I saw this app, and was like “cool, I think I could try this out” and well I downloaded it and I about flipped out when I found out it was 8 dollars a week. I thought I read it wrong at first, and that it was 8 dollars a month. Which sounds reasonable, but 8 dollars a week is very unreasonable. And I tried to find out how much the lifetime purchase was and every time I went to click it, it would then show a error so I could not find out the lifetime price which would probably be cheaper to get rather than having 32 dollars zapped out of your bank account every month.

SUBSCRIPTION. I wouldn’t give this such a low rating if the subscription 1. Wasn’t so high and 2. Wasn’t necessary. FIRST. I’m sorry, but nearly $9.00 per WEEK is ridiculous. SECOND. When I saw this ad on instagram, it was advertising the tests. And what else did it advertise? How it was FREE. It advertised only the tests and how the app was FREE, so I got the app thinking the tests were FREE. I get the app isn’t only for tests, it’s for tracking mood, but if those were the things people got the app for, advertise THAT. I’m not paying so much money for stupid surface level tests. It looks like a fine app, but the subscription is completely ridiculous and unnecessary. $9.00?? Really?

Great App But... This app was great! It is kind of like upgraded Reflectly (which is a great app, totally recommend.) It allows you to... 1. Journal your feelings. On the plus button it allows you to say how you feel, why you feel it, and it puts it in your Moods box! 🌻 2. Knowledge. It has classes and reading that are there for your sake. Although most have to be unlocked, some are free as Depression 101. That leads us to the bad part. The only down thing about this app was that most of the features on the app cost money for a monthly subscription. I haven’t bought it because I don’t feel the need to. (Fantastic self care has a lot of free features, so if I need I can log on there.) but I do think we should be able to have things for free if it’s a self care app; we can be dedicated without spending money! x All in all, great app, but popups and adds can show throughout. If you can’t handle that, Fantastic self care is the app for you (subscription popups occur less often)

horrible app. this app contains nothing of use unless you have a subscription, and don’t let them fool you! I signed up for the free trial assuming it would end after the trial ended; come to find out it’s been charging my card. I came to find this out when I finally opened my subscriptions tab in iPhone to see they’ve been charging for weeks; I cut my losses and deleted the app and canceled my subscription as I hadn’t used it but more than a few times WITH the subscription. It wasn’t until I was getting billing notifications and the new feature of disabling me from downloading any other apps due to this billing error. breeze I am aware you’re a 3rd party app, do better the terms and notifications need to be transparent, instead of coaxing a weekly 8.49 for NOTHING.

VELOQNDNSND. This is a really good app to track emotions and it’s very pretty. However you have to pay for everything. You can put in adds are make people pay to get it. I understand you need profit but don’t advertise it as a free emotion tracking app when nothing is free Exept for a relaxing game. You can make some things only for people with a pass and have them pay for special ones. However you can’t do anything without paying. It’s very frustrating because I thought I could just track my emotions easily but u have to get a membership for what the app advertises. People assume it’s free and then get frustrated. It can give you a bad reputation and people won’t recommend it. Please take this into consideration.

Remove the paid subscription pls. I really like the app butvi hate how you have too pay, I think one of the best parts of this app is the test but I can't do them cause I have to pay so the only thing I can do is track my feelings. Like maybe instead of having to pay you instead play a ad every time someone fully completes a test but after they were shown their results. I think thats a better way then having to pay cause I'm only 14 so ofc I'm not ganna have money. This is supposed to be a mental health app and I just don't see it being that right now, hopefully you actually look at these ratings and change your app cause like I said, I really like at and I think its really cool and cute and it has the potential to be a grate mental health app.

Free version isn’t much. This app has a great interface. I got it because my Autistic son wanted a mood tracker like mine. I thought this one would be easy enough for him to navigate. He can put in a daily mood, add a journal entry, but we can only select 5 activities for the day. This is a problem for me. I need to be able to track things like what time he went to bed, if he ate healthy or junk food (which is rare), if he had a rough day at school, so on and so forth. It would be a great resource to me to have everything unlocked. But $1.99 a week is a bit steep for our already tight budget. I’d rather deal with seeing ads and having everything free, than pay the premium price out-of-pocket.

Coercive bait and switch; zero trust.. This company uses a technique in which they offer a “free quiz” to help people assess their needs as a marketing tactic. They don’t disclose there will be a price. Or mandatory submission of personal information prior to accessing the assessment. In addition, the free trial isn’t free. They force the person to choose how much they’ll pay for the “free trial” prior to even gaining full access to the free assessment that started the whole mess. This manipulative, coercive approach to making money is sickening. To make it even more illegal, once on this page, the victim of this slimy company now has only one option: Continue and accept the terms of service and privacy policy…or contact their privacy officer by email to demand the deletion of all information collected up to that moment. They literally do not offer the option to click “No” or “Cancel”. This isn’t just frustrating and unethical. It violates federal law. If a company claims to want to help people but uses deception and manipulation to get money and marketable information from them before ever assisting anyone in any way…you can bet that company has one goal and one goal only. And it’s not to help YOU.

Breeze premium. So if you have to pay monthly just to access the standard tests why have a premium version you act like the app is useful without paying even in your ads it doesn’t specify that you have to pay just to access the tests why not make some tests free and others you have to pay for I feel like it would attract more people if they can experience what the app does without activating a free trial I just downloaded the app to see if I had good mental health but it doesn’t let me take any of the tests without activating the trial and to do so you have to have a card or payment method connected to the phone there’s no real reason to have a premium version except to get more money out of people

Thank you. I needed that. Some of us know ourselves best and rarely question who we’ve become thru all of life’s hardships and difficulty. It’s a cruel world for a gentle soul. It may take what once may have been a guardian Angel & make a warrior of them. It’s pretty amazing that the words: worrier & warrior are so similar, yet so different. The worrier often dwells, while the warrior acts. Perhaps we become a mysterious mixture of both. Which ever or whomever one does become, just remember, the only true form of control is self control; moreover, beyond a certain level of maturity (or age if you prefer), the only form of discipline is self discipline. When it comes to our power: make your own choices and be responsible & accountable thereof, that’s where the real power is at. When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then we may have peace.

Wonderful app!!. Breeze has been a great way to relieve stress, and a great way to rant my problems or express my day, when I can’t around other people. I can freely talk about my feelings and my day without worrying about being shunned or not listened to! I have no complaints whatsoever! This app has also helped me understand my own feelings and internal problems that would surface themselves. Overall it’s a really great app, and I recommend it to anyone or everyone!

Making Me Pay Now. When I first got the app during the pre-launch, it gave me all the features for free, but none of them worked. I saw there was an update so I updated, now I have to pay WEEKLY to do anything aside from write in a tiny section what’s on my mind. Because I have an iPhone SE, I can’t even see what I write in the app and there is no way for me to click and review what I wrote. It shows the first sentence and that’s it... The app isn’t worth it, you have to pay for it all and that’s disappointing because there are plenty of free apps or better deals for paid apps out there, which they offer more help and actually work. This seemed like it was going to be a good app and cute, but I’m just uninstalling that. Why pay weekly for something I could do for free or one time pay for in another app?

A “mental health” app whose advertisements label mentally I’ll people toxic.. The irony is pretending to be woke by calling potentially mentally ill people toxic or non toxic, like human beings are glue bottles or paint cans. the slap in the face it is to see the question “my life has been very difficult and challenging” on a “toxic person” quiz as if the developers of this app couldn’t fathom someone with access to this technology being someone who has suffered in life. If a previously or currently homeless veteran or trafficking survivor or DV survivor or child abused survivor, ETC took this quiz and they said they had struggled in life, would that count towards them being toxic or non toxic to you? please don’t cause more of us to be pushed to self injury or worse because you fancy yourselves mental health advocates and can’t even deduce that traumatized people may be using this app too. Dang. Bummer

Great mood tracking app. I downloaded this because i’ve been looking for a app to track my moods since i have BPD. This app was perfect for it, it’s easy to use and i love the options u get after u choose how you’re feeling and you’re able to journal it. I do wish more tests were free though because i’m curious on a lot of things. But overall this app has helped me throughout therapy. I tend to forget my episodes or mood swings, and this was great for it. Definitely recommend for anyone struggling! 💗

Was charged for a subscription after I had already cancelled. Exactly as the title says, I downloaded the app and started the free trial, I didn’t really care for the app and wasn’t using it. So I deleted the app and made sure to cancel the subscription all while I was still in the “free trial period”, then today to my surprise, I get an email for payment confirmation for a subscription from the app! They charged me despite me doing everything I was supposed to to not be charged! I thought maybe I had made a mistake, went and checked my subscriptions, NOPE. I’M STILL IN THE FREE TRIAL PERIOD! I wasn’t going to leave a review originally, but now I’m just mad.

I don’t really recommend.. Okay so let’s jump straight to the point. In this app you need to subscribe to do basically everything. The only things you can do are the games and the mood tracker. Some people like myself may not be able to subscribe to the app because of money reasons. Not everyone can pay 8 dollars a week for some mood tracker app, you could’ve had ads in the app instead of making a false advertisement making it seem like you could do anything on here, but no. You have to subscribe to do literally everything on the app. I’m not saying that this app is bad, I’m just saying that it has more potential if there people didn’t have to subscribe just to do everything.

The app is beautifully done but $9/WEEK. This is something that I really really needed. They have lots of tests to help me learn more about myself. It seems so wonderful. However, you can only take one test before you must pay almost $9/WEEK! Very sadly, I can not afford this. Since almost all the features are now locked, I can not use it for what I desperately need. The creators of this app are so kind to create something so beautiful, praise God for these sweet people. I didn’t get to dive too much into it but I did not come across any LGBTQ+ stuff which is also wonderful to get a break from that evil stuff. I may be wrong about that not being on the app but from what I saw, it was NOT there! Hallelujah!

Amazing app but... Well to start off the app is amazing it honestly helps me relax and calm me down allowing me to actually have a better relationship with my family and know to the reason why I said “but” and the reason for that is that you have to pay which is pain because I wanna get to know more about me but I guess that will have to wait but other than that this is a good app for mental health I definitely recommend it so it can calm you with its games other than that that is my review about this and I hope the developers of this app has an amazing day

Nonsense. Let’s start with the personality test. There is no option for “unsure” or “can’t decide”. Sometimes two options will be equally appealing. Therefore it will produce incorrect or inaccurate results the majority of the time. As for the career test, most of it asks “can you do(said skills)” just because I can do something doesn’t mean that is what I want to do. If I can repair dry wall in my home that doesn’t mean I want to be in construction. How is this $9 a week and they can’t even produce remotely accurate results. It needs to be scale based. “On a scale of 1 - 10 how does this fit with you” or something similar. Really just feels like a scam and a way for them to get money. Insanely unimpressed and probably one of the worst personality/career tests I have ever come across.

Limited information and feedback. I downloaded this app out of curiosity as a very self aware person. This app provides very basic information and feed back from the various personality and mental health quizzes they offer. The information provided as results seems very limited. For example the personality test says I am one personality type when I know I am actually between 2 about 50/50. The app doesn’t allow for multiple type feedback. Also in the add I saw it said it offered a particular quiz that it does not. Overall it is a good place to start if you’re just starting on your self awareness journey, definitely not for someone who is well versed in self awareness.

Ugh…another paywall. Like MANY other people have said…the subscription requirement made me lose all interest. I wouldn’t mind paying a one time fee, provided it was all-access. But I refuse to meddle with subscription based programs. There’s already way too many things out there that require a subscription just for someone to use the product. I’d much prefer a one time all access fee. Or, maybe some features being completely free - maybe with ads (if the ads aren’t obnoxiously abundant), and then having a premium access fee. Anyways, I would’ve kept using the app if it weren’t for the paywall. I like it, but money is becoming more and more difficult to come by these days.

Great idea, VERY VERY POOR execution. Makes an app that promotes positive mental health, understanding past and present traumas, allows you to take tests to figure yourself out and maneuver through negative feelings and emotions, and even allows you to track moods/feelings/thoughts daily. Oh but everything about mental health, understanding past and present traumas, and test taking to figure yourself out..yea you have to pay for those and really the only thing you can do for free on the cash grab of an app is track your moods, feelings, and thoughts (you know..stuff you could do in the note app in your phone or on a piece of paper) I forgot we live in a day and age where mental health is marketable, my bad. But seriously this app at its core is “hey pay me to let you become your own therapist” waste of time and money. if you actually do pay for this…why?

It’s ok. I tried this app for a minute, and I think it’s cool that there even is an app like that for mental health. But it does have false advertising which is a big no for me. When they advertise this game they say it’s free or they don’t even mention a monthly subscription. Also why am I going to pay a monthly subscription of 8 dollars every month just for some more tests and analyzing? I understand that’s how you guys are getting paid and things like that, but it’s very unnecessary and I’m sure there are other ways to make profit off your app. Good thing there is trial an error when it comes to downloading apps!

This is the app the mental health community has been missing!. This is a great app that has what all the other mental health apps have but combine it into one. Uplifting quotes, mood diary, mood pattern chart, tests/quizzes, in-depth answers to quizzes, routine building reminders, and help finding a therapist. Good job guys! Keeping it up and keep updating the app. It’s not a perfect app that will cure your depression but it’s a helpful tool to help in your prognosis. Only con is the price. $9 bucks a week is steep. Actually $36/month is the most I’ve ever seen an app charge, hope their not exploiting the mental health community and the covid inflation.

Quizzes are messed up. As many others have reported, the quizzes are riddled with typos and contain a lot of leading language. Many of the questions in the Enneagram personality quiz in particular are full of language that is not truly neutral, making choosing authentically difficult. I would recommend an adjustment that takes into consideration pairings of words (all of the answers are binary with only two options) that are imbalanced in their negative or positive connotations. If one provided choice has a clearly negative connotation, people will want to choose the other one, even if it contradicts the way they see themselves. It is not a matter of perspective, but what we agree upon collectively as language users. As many others have said, there are also many typos that cause confusion. Also- “Man” or “female” in the picture quiz ??? Really?????? Immediately made me exit the app in disgust. This reinforces and encourages transphobia, directly. Clearly this is an app for the cis. I think there is value in recording habits and moods, and am sure that many people will get a lot out of this app for that reason. I just don’t feel comfortable doing so after taking these messed up quizzes.

Almost perfect. I really like this app! It helps me do what I wanted to do, which is track which activities affect my mood and keep a gratitude journal. I have two things I’d like to see improve though: I’d like the ability to add different feelings (I am often feeling something that isn’t on the list that I’d like to be able to track in relation to my activities) and I have been noticing that the window gets small and hard to type in when I add a lot to my gratitude entry—I like to get in a flow and free-write lots of things I’m grateful for, so this is a bit annoying for me. Still, I love the concept and enjoy using it!

Free to Download but Fee to Use. Very disappointed that I was unable to try out this app. It looked very promising in helping me figure out my mental health issues. Since I cannot afford to seek out professional medical help, I opted to try this out as a last resort. The app is free to download, but then upon startup you are informed there is a free 7-day trial and then after you will be charged $8.49 a WEEK to use the app! That’s a $34 charge every month ($408yr)! I wish there was more affordable options available for people in my situation. Crazy how if you can’t afford the help, you can’t get the help.

Great. This app is the best I was depressed but I’m now as much as I was I was so depressed but this app is helping me a little it does take a long time to get out the depressing part but I’m finally turning into the girl I want to be all because of this app it is so helpful is your depressed stressed sad mad all that it helps if it can help me I’m sure it can help you and you might have to pay for something but not me I found a way to not don’t click on the free tril thing and you can still get a lot without paying for the other stuff

Second Chances. My first review was a negative one, but the app developer offered me a free subscription, so I gave it a second chance. For some reason I can’t access my original review. The app has won me over, the section “thoughts”, is very helpful in seeing your perspective on things versus, what things might actually be. It’s my favorite part of the app actually. I fully recommend this app to anyone who may struggle with anxiety, depression, and such. It is helpful in tracking moods, seeing patterns, and helping change negative thought patterns. It is easy to use, and was well developed.

For Tests in Specific. I am just writing for future users of the app that if they are looking to use this app specifically for the Tests that are shown or interest you, they are behind a Subscription payment. I understand that devs need to make money, but having all the tests be paywalled seems a bit much? Granted I didn’t test them all, but I clicked on the first 5 tests, and they all asked me to “sign up” or “start my free trial” after clicking get started. Assuming the free ones would be at the front instead of at the end of that list. (If I’m wrong I do apologize). Having an Ad before every test or at the end of every test seems more manageable (or at the very least more acceptable in my opinion) than having a subscription show up for each test you try. Again I know that the “essentials” of the app aren’t paywalled, simply stating to new users that if they are trying to use this app strictly for the tests, there’s a paywall.

Charged me 50 dollars and I can’t get a response. I haven’t used this app at all, so I don’t know what the quality is. However, when I downloaded the app a notification popped up saying that I would receive a free 3 day trial. When I selected this, it immediately charged me 52 dollars with no free trial. The only reason I selected an option at all was because it said I wouldn’t be charged. And then it charged me. And I’m depressed. I have emailed this company more than once about this and they have not responded, so I’m not sure what to do.

PAID APP!! MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. As an autistic individual, mental health to me is expensive enough as is, not just talking about money. Either way, psychological help can be pricey, however, it is PROFESSIONAL help from a LICENSED professional in which most people put money into. Not a stupid app that just provides questionnaires and daily check-ins, I get all of that plus more via therapy/psychiatry lol. If this was a free app, I would definitely rate 5 stars. If it was at least mentioned in the app description that it requires money, I’d give it 2 stars at minimum after downloading, considering the disappointment would be on me if I clicked download without reading. But this is ridiculous, I never write reviews, but I truly took pride and joy in giving this app a single star.

Do you really care?. This app has good potential for mental health but you have to pay to do quizzes and etc I feel like if the developer cares about people’s mental health and is understanding they shouldn’t make it cost money and it should be free a bit I understand nothing in life is fair but this is mental health we are talking about I feel like they should at least do you have to watch ads to do the quizzes and unlock things people like myself cannot afford it and I have been needing to focus on my mental health but it just makes it a little worse seeing that I have to pay when I know i cannot afford it please next time when developing a mental health app don’t make it expensive please and thank you
