Please don’t buy these shoes or use this app. I’m sure you've thought of the chance your foot gets stuck inside. I received my adapts yesterday and after my left foot got laced in it has been stuck for more than 24 hours now. I had to call nike customer service multiple times, they just gave me the option to return the shoes (which are stuck on my feet). I have tried all the reset options multiple times, deleted and downloaded the app, and unpaired / repaired the shoes countless times. After the software update today I was hoping my left foot would be freed but now the shoe has become even less responsive and the lights do not turn on when I click them. I’ve been waiting 36 hours now for an email back which they said had “priority”. At this point I just want permission to cut the trap shoe off my foot and receive the 350$ back, But after all the time I’ve waited for a response I doubt I will purchase Nike again. This is single-handedly the worst experience I have ever had with a product I have paid for. Please save yourself the chance of receiving a defect with no compensation or customer service and steer clear away from these shoes and this app.

Corrupted after update!. I bought the Adapt BB on day one. I let it sit for a while until I decided to just wear them today. I configured it to my liking and everything was great until I got prompted with the software update. The update ruined the left shoe completely. It will no longer pair with my phone even after all the resets I’ve done. This is absurd! I did some searching online for Nike’s response to this problem but they don’t have any! It’s been nearly a month since the Adapt came out. I can’t believe Nike is just allowing this without offering a solution!

Adapt. Great show overall. The app gets a little finicky. Sometimes it is faster to pair up with one shoe .being able to save fits would be great. Or even a auto mode that allows you to set your desired fit and if it loosen auto adjust back. Also to go along with the previous comment .more light features would be great like a faster pulse or fade to the next color or even blink slow or blink fast. Shoes unreliable. Here to tell Nike corporate that the warranty they normally use on shoes should not extend to this tech product. As a customer you have zero clue how long of a warranty you have on these shoes as the 2 years starts from manufacture date. Well guess what, morons, that’s not good enough for a tech product. Not only that but customer service will process your request for return, hold onto your shoes for 1.5 months then return them because the manufacture date was more than 2 years ago even though you bought them less than 2 years ago. That’s right- Nike corporate does not even record the warranty lapse date when ordering directly from Nike, leading you on an extended wild goose chase only to be informed your warranty has lapsed. I will be stealing heavily from your corporate owned stores from here on out due to this horrible experience I’ve had.

Needs a lights always on option. Shoes are my favorite of all time! The app works flawlessly and is a neat option to have, however i like EVERYONE else wants a lights always on option through the app. I know the battery will be a little more consumed but I doubt enough to dissuade me from running it like that. Is it an overheating issue or something?

Count the reasons the why I would love app/auto lacing. Wow! Purchased for novelty, But love auto/app lacing so much more than I thought. -perfect when driving and need a more relaxed fit can’t take hands off wheel -any time I need to lower my blood pressure. -no need to stop and loosen shoes after 3 miles in. (Albeit shoes are a bit heavy to run in, can’t waiting for running version, battery time is amazing so a smaller motor/ mech / battery would be worth weight trade off. -Tighter fit reduces anxiety when nerves are shot -easy adjust when flying to accommodate decent swelling in feet/ankles.(no issues wearing through security precheck line) Issues: slight delay in connecting to shoes when using airpods.

Some issues. Right shoe wouldn’t pair, had to do a factory reset process and disconnect my left shoe. Haven’t had any problems after that. Would be nice if there was an option to keep the lights on (otherwise what’s the point of having color changing lights). Bluetooth is week and requires phone to be too close sometimes.

Not consistent enough to showcase shoes. I always look like an idiot cause im like “check it, my shoes lace themselves!” Followed by five minutes of me opening and closing the app trying to get it to work. It works almost 1/3 of the time so pretty good. Sometimes like twice a week i cant get my shoes off and it tightens really tight and it actually hurts, and also it ALWAYS has trouble connecting, BUT when it does work its really cool!

Great start. Love the shoes! App is simple. What I need next is the ability to tell Siri loosen my shoes or tighten my shoes without using my phone or pushing any buttons. That would be amazing, but I’m sure it’ll come along since this is just the start. Good job! Keep the updates coming!!! 👍

Frustrating. Was so excited to get the adapt BB2 .. because was really happy with the first version of BB1 although not that perfect was hoping the 2nd version will be more better the problem is that my BB2 won’t connect with the App since I got them I recently called Nike regarding this and they can’t give me anything they told me to disconnect my adapt BB1 and connect my new ones does not make any sense like every time I play and switch shoes need to reconnect them the app suppose to add as many adapts you have. Really frustrating.

Lights don’t stay on. Hello Nike I have to say I’m pretty disappointed the lights on the shoes do not stay on. To me the lights are one of the key features that sets the shoes apart. The fact they only stay on for 5-10 seconds at a time is extremely dissatisfying. I realize the purpose of the shoe is to play basketball. But a majority of people buy sneakers to wear casually because of the look and design. I think it would be really cool to have the option to turn on/off the lights at your own convenience. I called Nike about this issue and I was told the lights don’t stay on because the battery will drain. But the battery lasts for 10 days at a time. The sneakers should act like a cell phone. If I want to leave my lights on and risk the battery draining that should be my option as a consumer. Cell phone companies don’t tell you we won’t let you watch movies on your phone because the battery will die; it’s your choice. With the app allowing one to check the battery on the shoes it makes it easy to turn the lights off if the battery gets too low, and you can just charge the shoes more often. I just feel like I got bamboozled with this feature and it would great if Nike can add this to the app. Nike makes the best shoes in the world because of forward thinking and innovation. Siri integration. I would love to see a option to integrate Siri with the app, so once the presets are available in app I can tell Siri to tighten or loosen my laces via voice. Or when I need a certain preset for a basketball I can tell Siri and it just goes to that present via voice command

Eh.... It’s a great shoe, and I love how you can have different colors and tightness options. But, I still believe you haven’t reached the full potential for these shoes. For example, why isn’t there an option for having the lights on the shoe last more than 5 seconds? It would be great if the app implemented a feature where the colors of the shoe can stay on for your desired amount of time. In addition, allowing two different colors for the two buttons at the same time would also be a great addition. I know this is possible because once you reset the shoe, it goes through a cycle where different colors are displayed on the buttons. And, the buttons are different colors simultaneously. Lastly, another great addition would be breathing” lights. For instance, there should be a feature where the lights are dim, then get bright, then dim again and the cycle continues. All in all, this is a great shoe and app, but it hasn’t reached its full potential.

Need the lights to stay on. Guys, great job with the shoes! Just want to get that out of the way.. App works, synced with my shoes without a hitch. But c’mon Nike?! Is there a way for you to update the app to allow the lights to stay on? Leave the option to turn it on and off for us. I would like (and I know a lot will agree) the light to stay on, to show off the fact that we can actually change them and display the colors that you put in the app itself. Please please please make that happen 🙏🏻

App is TRASH. The features within the app are FANTASTIC. But that’s the only good thing about it. Too often the app loses communication with the Adapt shoes and I have to delete it, reinstall it, unpair the shoes. I have three pairs of these and it’s a miserable experience to get them all to connect to the app again. I hav called Nike multiple times about this and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. Very disappointed in the technology and support aspect for the Adapts. Would not recommend anyone purchase the next iteration of these unless the app is fixed. Nike is better than this.

Out of box experience fail!. Honestly, I have no words to describe the frustration I have. I don’t need a fancy looking app. I just need an app which works. Having to do a firmware upgrade right out of the box means that the shoes shipped with a critical bug in the firmware which is just insane to think about given the hype and the wait around the shoe. It all depends on who the product owner is and if they even used the app with the shoe. It seems like all the development resources were spent on the UI and making it simple but the engineering has been completely forgotten about. Building a connected BLE experience is not hard. Everyone has done it. This is a solved problem. Just for context, I have tried all the steps which have been recommended by Nike to reset my shoes, delete the app, logout, forget Bluetooth. Etc etc etc. everything. It works one time and as soon as I feel that it might be fixed, it stops working. Also, the FW upgrade process has already happened like 7-8 times and I am still getting the notification to upgrade to 1.3. A completely customer experience failure. I love the shoes. I just can’t use them. :(

shoes: nike adapt bb 2.0. LOVE all of it. Love the shoes love the app, haven’t had any problems whatsoever except for a late loading time for Siri sometimes it takes more than 20 seconds for the commands to go through and I also wish I could turn the pulsing lights on and off on my smart watch or phone with an option or button. Still 5 stars because it’s sick though

Modes won’t work.. Let me start by saying my Nike Adapt BB. I have been wearing them almost everyday for the past few months. My favorite feature is the mode presets. Unfortunately, for the past four days, the modes have stopped working. I tap on the modes and I see a screen with the plus (+) sign to create the presets. Once I create a new one, my original presets appear. If I exit the screen, or tap on one of them, they all disappear again. Having to go through that process several times per day is very inconvenient and quite annoying. Please implement a solution for this issue soon.

Dear Nike. I love the app it’s most definitely useful but on the the up coming updates there should be away to keep the L E D lights on or at least optional an the way it remembers to tight up when you pig the shoe On is Dope but if you guys would add more detail to the lights more colors more options it would make it when a better shoe it’s very comfortable very stylish just add more details to the lights thank you

The Swoosh. The shoes are clean! I get stopped because of them everywhere. App is decent for what it does, no complaints. UPDATE and make it an option to toggle the lights on and off 💯 UPDATE: Thank you for giving the (many) people what we asked for🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Easy Peasy. Easy to set up and I love the custom lace settings through the app. So happy I was able to purchase the Nike Adapt Bb 2.0 Air Mag CW on Back to The Future Day. That was pretty cool. This is the closest thing I can come to having the version of the Nike Air Mag which I hope Nike somehow gives us an opportunity for the general public who loves not only the movie but the but the actual shoes that Michael J Fox wore. I still would like an actual pair of the autolacing Nike Air Mags from 2016.

Would be even greater with lights and modes feature. Really like this shoe. I would absolutely love this shoe if it allowed us the option to keep the lights on. It might be a BB shoe, but it doesn’t mean we can’t style it in everyday wear — making a ongoing light option a way to make our looks and clothing style even more personable. I know you all over at Nike see us consumers asking. Go’head and make it happen. #JustDoIt

Shoes awesome App not so much. My shoes paird fine. But the app is missing a few very important functions, you can't save you presets on the app as was advertised. And for some reason you can press the light to turn on on your shoe but it fades off after a few seconds, what's the point of that?? Need an option to keep the light on, seems like an obvious feature that should be there from day 1.

Fantastic and most comfortable sneakers ever!. By far the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn! I have over 200 sneakers and In my life I’ve most of had over 500 pairs! The Nike adapt is number 1! They light up in almost every color!! The thing that makes these sneakers is the level of comfort and movability is on another level that I’ve never felt before!!!!!

It doesn’t work. So it has been two days since I received the shoes but I still can’t get them connected to the app. Left shoe was first connected without any issues. Right shoe was a little harder but it worked. Everything seemed good until a software update showed up and the shoes never get connected again. Trying logging into another account on the same phone. Left shoe was found but an error message popped up. Tried using my wife’s phone and I was able to connect the left shoe. The right shoe was still unresponsive. Reset the software on both shoes and tried using my phone to connect again but only error messages were available. That’s a huge bummer considering spending nearly $400 on these.

Bye Nike - Time for a new brand. I have to say Im pretty disappointed all the way around. Theres a few thing about the shoe itself that I dont like but there is one really big thing that really has me upset with Nike and thats the app... Its bad enough that you charge $350 for these shoes, I can live with that I guess - I mean I bought them right. But what really makes me feel like Nike took advantage of me is the fact that they hyped these features that the shoe and app were supposed to be capable of straight out of the box. At least thats what they lead me to believe because there was no fine print saying that the vast majority of the features would be coming to the app at a later date. You screwed this one up big time Nike! Without the features you said this shoe would have its just disappointing. You mean to tell me that you came up with this shoe design, went through all the development stages of it and on into production and couldnt come up with a decent app to pair with it? Isnt that what was supposed to set this shoe apart from the others and justify the price for the consumer? Ypu couldnt have waited to launch the shoe for a couple weeks, couple months, couple whatever longer so that when it dropped it really made an impact and set the bar? All Nike did here was take advantage of us kids that grew up poor and compensate for it now by paying crazy prices for shoes! I might be jumping the Nike ship cause this really has me disgusted.

1 issue. I having used my Adapts in a while so I tried to use them again and well I can’t login to the app XD. I TRY AND IT SAY “connect a shoe” I say cancel and it takes me back to the home page I login in again AND IT DOES THE SAME THING!! The worse part of this is I CANT continue with the shoes I own because it’s already connected to the app. Long story short I try to connect my shoes it won’t let me but I can’t connect my shoes because they are already connect. :D

How to pair if having difficulty. I myself was like the countless many who couldn't get their sneakers to register via Bluetooth on their phone. What finally worked was (even with a case on) holding the phone with either the lightning port side or top of the phone side directly against the shoe light circles almost like standing it on its head or feet. This has proven to be the trick as just holding it near or by the side of the sneaker just doesn't respond to Bluetooth. Hope this helps! One side note, you can change color but it will not stay on. I realize this would drain battery but at least give us a timer for like 15 or 20 min to keep the colored lights on!

Update please. Hi, I just got the Nike adapt bb 2.0 a week ago and I loved them but because of iOS 14 and the widget that can be on Home Screen it should be great if you make the one to tight the shoes and losses it or for the shortcut all in all I loved those shoes and thank you to make such amazing product. I might do a update on that if the widget because it would you put you to 3 to 4 and if it’s working well 5 . Sincerely, have a great day

Amazing product. I’ve been wearing these shoes for about 10 days now and have absolutely 0 problems with them. They fit well obviously because of being able to adjust them and they are splendidly comfortable. The lights on the sides are amazing but I feel there should be a setting to have them on consistently instead of only when you tighten them or tap the light icon on the app. I see how it consumed battery but for those that are able to charge them every night I feel this could be a really cool add on.

Good shoe but there are errors. I have a pair of the adapt bb 1.0s and have enjoyed them but they have started to act weird. For example, the shoes will randomly tie and untie themselves. Also, the shoes have a very hard time charging. When I put them on the charging pad I have to position them perfectly in the middle in order to get a charge. I’ve restarted the shoes and tried to find solutions online, but no luck. I’ve emailed customer service but never got a response back. I’d really appreciate it if someone could reach out and help. Thanks

Superior. I just bought these shoes thinking oh these aren’t gonna be any different from the air mags I just wanted to see if they were really the waste of money like I got told but boy were those people wrong these are the coolest and 100% worth the money I’ve love Nike my whole life and this made me love Nike even more GREAT JOB NIKE!!!!!

Disappointed !! Lights don’t stay on!!!!!!! Update this now!!. I’m extremely disappointed that the lights disappear also. I wish I known that before I bought them. In game settings I understand because of the NBA rules and so forth. But consumers are not all athletes and your costumers don’t play in the league! There is a huge disconnect between your board room and urban culture. I am a loyal costumer but if I tell 2 million followers that these lights disappear after 5 secs you missed the mark. Update this Asap!

Trouble Shooting. One shoe lace doesn’t seem to work as well as the other. The tongue doesn’t stay straight when tightening. The Siri options are hit & miss. The pulsing lights don’t work. They run small, I already sized up a half size and should have gone up a whole size. Editing custom modes is frustrating! I have to delete them and start over because it won’t let me edit custom modes after I save them. I’ve only had these for an hour so we shall see what else I run into as I try to actually wear them.

My pair is WAY too tight.. It seems like the shoes run small but no online reviews share my experience. I literally couldn’t wear them if I wanted to. There is some hard (possibly metal) piece inside the shoe that is digging into my small toe. I assume having to do with the auto-lacing system. I’ve been wearing Nikes for 35+ years and my size 11.5 has never felt too small. Is this a typical response from Adapt buyers? Is it possible the app or show isn’t calibrated correctly. Plenty of length but the width is SUPER tight around the top of my foot and toes. Anyone else?

Adapt App not working on my Apple Watch.. When I first got my Apple Watch, the Adapt App worked fine. I could control my Adapts from my watch. But now it don’t work. It keeps telling me to make sure my Watch’s and iPhone’s Bluetooth is on and Airplane mode is off even though my Iphone and Watch is already set that way. Is this a common issue? Please fix!

So far it’s been a great experience, but let the light shine!. Love the shoes. They are amazing. The app has been excellent. It’s been 19 days since I last charged them and I still have 69% battery left. I agree with many others, that the only thing missing is to have the option to leave the lights on. I understand that there would be a hit to the battery but so far I don’t see that as a problem. I’ll be able to go well over a month on a single charge and even if I couldn’t, the wireless charging pad is super convenient. Right now it’s collecting dust because I’m curious as to how long a single charge will last me. Great job Nike! Now just give us an always on option and I’ll be set. 😄

Innovation and impressive b-ball shoe!. Note to Nike: Please allow us to keep the lights on (if we choose) with the app. Review: so I bought a pair of these on the resale market. I love them, I’m a sneaker fan and a basketball player and everything about the Adapt BB’s peaked my interest. I am thoroughly impressed with the design, fit (obviously), cushion, box, and implementation. They fit well, I got my normal size 12, though I can squeeze into an 11.5 (but they are usually tight unless it’s a wide shoe like a Lebron). However, they fit well, like others have said, they fit and feel like a slightly heavier Kobe model! To Nike: as others have said, can you please implement (later on down the road), a feature with the app to keep the lights (on the buttons) on? This would be fun to have occasionally and would remind me even more of this shoes older cousin (the Nike Mag). Maybe the app could allow you to make the lights, low-medium-or high to save battery? Lastly, the feature for (game fit, casual fit, and whatever else fit) presets will be welcomed. For the first ever EARL b-ball shoe you guys knocked it out of the park though. Thanks and congrats Nike. I am scared to update them through the app because they are working fine. I’m going to wait a couple months until they push out an update that I know has no issues!

Once I was able to reset the shoe, it became awesome !. From when I received the adapts, it took a few days to want to sit and figure out why I couldn’t connect app the shoes. I wouldn’t wear them until I figured it out, yes I tried them on, but wouldn’t officially wear or ball at all. Once I was able to reset and sync up everything, I say it has been and awesome and fun experience without question. FYI to NiKe if you ever read this, your instruction manual should have reset directions as well or at least your site! App has been awesome and very response to this day!! Thank you

Left shoe error. Went to set up the shoes and the left shoe had an error message after selecting the pair option. Exited the app and went back in. The app then went to automatically pair with the right one first which was successful. Then it tried to repair with the left shoe and nothing happened. The left shoe was showing up in the paired devices though even though the app said it still needed to be paired. Removed them both from the paired devices in the Bluetooth menu and tried to start over again. Nothing happened and the app was trying to pair and was not able to find the left shoe anymore. Right shoe lights up on the charging mat but the left shoe does not light up. Not sure what the problem is and nothing is happening. Not happy about having shoes that can’t be used!!!

Nike BB Not as good as I hoped. The Design is very well put together but the shoe still lacks comfortability. I’ve tried the shoes on at Allstar week before purchasing them to be sure I got the right fit. However my pair fits a lot snugged than the ones I tried on. I try to loosen them with the app but it’s frustrating they they try to auto tighten them as their worn. Nike developers please put a feature that disables some of your wears don’t like for the shoes to fit so tight cutting off blood circulation. I also agree that the lights should have a option to stay on as other suggested. Hopefully these will in the next development. I’m currently looking for a buyer to purchase my pair because they are just too uncomfortable.

Pre-set mode missing. Hello. I really like the shoe but sometimes when I am not using the app for a long while and I go to it, it does not connect at times. I have to re-boot my phone and then it will connect. Now the pre-set option that I saw on the prototype at the Nike event, is not on the app. I only have the change of color, the battery check option and the option to loosen both shoes all the way down. The pre-set option is not there. Will it come in an update? Thank you

App feature missing, but still great shoe. UPDATE: Per Nike’s response, the ability to save modes is coming. Would have liked to see all advertised features available at launch, especially since they had Modes in the apps at the Owner’s HQ demo this weekend, but still deserves updated rating. The shoes are a real breakthrough. They are surprisingly light, look good, have quality packaging and quickly get as tight as you could want and stay tight - One of the most advertised features of this shoe is missing from the app! You are NOT able to save different profiles as stated repeatedly by Nike. Notice the picture of the app in the App Store does NOT match the pictures in all the Nike marketing. The actual app only has 3 tabs at the bottom, not 4. Missing is the “modes” tab, which is how you WOULD set and save all of those promised profiles. Nice $350 Bait and Switch, Nike.

Future Additions. I’d like to see two things done in the future with this app. 1) Of course is the multiple presets option that we all saw in the previews and initial unveilings of the shoe, but has not yet been integrated with the app. 2) Is something i’ve thought of while playing in the shoes. I feel it would make it really convenient if there was an Apple Watch app to control the tightness of the shoes, as it would be easier for those playing with the watch on to adjust when they don’t have their phone on them. I hope someone actually reads this and puts it into consideration. Thank you.

Cool when they work. As others have noted, the shoes are cool - when they work. However, they often don’t because the app on the phone or the watch won’t connect to the shoes. So then you find yourself fiddling with force quitting the app, uninstalling the app from the watch etc. The watch app especially is troublesome. The watch app will simply say cannot connect, make sure Bluetooth is turned on etc and won’t work on the first few tries then will suddenly start working with nothing having changed on the shoes, the phone or the watch. Bluetooth is probably the main issue but until Bluetooth becomes more robust or Nike develops another wireless method then these shoes and the app are only for people who like to troubleshoot why their shoes aren’t working.

Out of the box, into future.. Edit: Lights should have a toggle on/off at a bare minimum. Battery life is cool an all but i dont need 15 days worth to have the lights on 5 days a week. Custom modes I can name them, can’t adjust percentages at all. which is ridiculous because that’s literally what it’s supposed to do. Other than that they’re super comfortable right out of the box, can tell they’ll be good for balling in. Hopefully they update the app soon so ppl can use them as intended. Literally threw these on an as soon as it started calibrating on my feet i started giggling. Super cool, tech meets sportswear dream come true.

App loses connection Tooooo Frequently!!!. It took me 3 hours of reset, reconnect, reset, reconnect….it wouldn’t recognize the left shoe….terrible technology. I am returning this $450 investment for something without an App! Bad choice…Nike support chat was worthless too. Now have to drive over 2 hours to step foot in the store I bought these at.

Needs some work but okay for a V1 product. Tough to pair out of the box. Best thing to do is a factory reset first and then pair. My right shoe wouldn't connect. Reset fixed that. There's also a D1 update which addresses this but you can't update until paired (they do connect/pair easier after the update). Still a super-cool forward-thinking product!

Great but could be better. I just received my Nike Adapt BB’s today and they are great. However, I do have 2 complaints. 1. You guys should make an option to have the colored lights stay on. Whenever I select a color, it show for a few seconds, then goes away. I understand that this would make the shoes lose battery faster, but it should at least be an option. Also you guys advertised it like they could stay on. 2. When I go to the app it tells me there is a software update. I have updated it at least 5 times, and it said that the update was successful, but it still says that I need to update it.

Unable to loosen shoes. If accidentally tighten your shoes with the app (let’s say to 40%) when you aren’t wearing them, and then go back into the app an hour later to find that the app thinks you’re shoes are now loose (let’s say to 0%), there is no way to reset this and your shoes will forever be set at this new tightness, no matter how many hard/soft resets have been performed. $400 shoes are now bricks. Unacceptable. How can software be created that is unable to detect or keep a memory of previous instances of tightening?

Not working. The shoes themselves are amazing but when it comes to paring the shoes the right one will pair fine and then I go to pair the left and it says it’s already paired have tried resetting multiple times but still not working

disappointed. I got these shoes in December and they were working great with the app.. Now in April they wont connect at all to the app, if i have to bend down to press and hold the button, i may as well just tie laces. For a shoe that cost this much im very disappointed

Good but missing features.. The App works great for the shoes. They connect easily and allow you to adjust the fit and color. It is however missing a big feature: Saving preset modes. Unlike the description it does not actually have that capability. You’ll notice the app has 3 buttons at the bottom. If you look at the promotional pictures online, there’s supposed to be 4 buttons at the bottom. The missing button is the modes function, which is what’s supposed to let you save preset for and colors.

Please make an Apple Watch version. Can’t wait to see it!A lot of people don't bring their phone to gym or while working out

I’m very upset. I got a new phone and wanted to control my shoes and it’s not compatible I think it should be comparable with everyone because no matter what kind I phone you have you should still be able to use the app if you have the shoes you know just really upset I am a sneaker collector and I’m very upset with this.

Once Modes were added, the app was complete. I held off on this review as I was told Modes would be coming soon. After seeing the various new customization options and consistent updates, I’m happy to say that the app is amazing, and so are the shoes.

Apple Watch App Doesn’t work, Siri Shortcuts Finnicky. The shoes are great, no doubt. However, the Siri Shortcuts haven’t always been on point, getting a 4 paragraph letter from Siri explaining to me that the app isn’t working whenever I try to perform a shortcut. Also, the Apple Watch app doesn’t work. It does a few circles, gives me an error telling me to turn off airplane mode and to make sure Bluetooth is on, which it is.

How Interesting. They are some of coolest shoes I’ve ever put on my feet! That app is great so simple and great layout! At first I was worried about my phone dying and not being able to undo them! 🤣 Then I realized the light on the side were buttons which is great!!

Lacking a Lights On feature. Overall a great shoe but quite disappointing that there is no way to keep the lights on instead of for just a few seconds

Won’t connect to right shoe.. When i try to use the app it connects perfectly fine on the left shoe. However, when I move to the right shoe it takes a few minutes to connect. When it eventually does connect it says there is an error and shoe is already connected. I have tired to forget the devices on my iPhone but it’s not working. Extremely frustrated.

Innovation. These have been the coolest and more fun sneakers I have worn I have been in the sneaker culture and been a well known sneaker colllector for 30 years . Nike needs to release them again and continue the adapt line

Love it. I really like the setup process and how I can setup Siri commands! I did have to try twice with the Bluetooth connection, but that just took me turning the shoes off and on again to get the connection to work.

Easy enough. Really cool shoes.. The app is easy to use but the modes feature is absent at the moment. Love the shoes, and the setup with the app is straightforward. A question I have however is regarding the light colors. I can change the colors but there is no option to keep them on. I thought this was a feature we would have yet the only time the lights illuminate is when you’re adjusting fit or changing the colors. It would be really cool to have the ability to set the lights for “always on” Any word on this Nike?

Awesome. These shoes are just straight amazing except there is no mode preset button yet so I have no way of presenting the shoes for different tightness and I would love if you could update it so you can keep the lights on if chosen to. That would be super cool if the lights were on

Connecting. In able to pair left shoe says already connected to another device and when I go to Bluetooth it’s there but won’t connect help very frustrating after spending 350$

Siri unresponsive on iPhone 12 Pro Max. I am unable to use Siri function on my adapts. I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max I have tried several things and unable to get them working. I then tried using my old iPhone 10 and the Siri’s functions worked. So right now I can not use the Siri’s functions. I even contact the customer support for Nike and she was less than helpful saying I needed to contact apple for a Nike app.

Can’t connect my left shoe. I’ve used the app perfectly fine before then suddenly it told me I have to connect my shoes again. Okay fine, but then when I try to connect them it tells me shoe is already paired try again. And yes I removed it from my Bluetooth already and uninstalled the app and tried again and still same result.. Haven’t been able to use them for 2 months now.....

Shoe already paired???. You guys keep updating the app but no one has addressed the show already paired issue that many of are having, haven’t been able to use my shoe with the app now for about two years, there is no customer service support to help guide me through troubleshooting, this is very bad and upsetting was going to get another pair but due to lack of truly fixing the app and no good customer service support I don’t think I will be smh.

Software update bricked my left shoe.. This shoe is great..... for about 45 seconds. I understand that with new technology there are always kinks, but I didn’t expect a kink 45 seconds out of the box. Shoes initially paired just fine. After a software update, the left shoe won’t connect. If that’s not bad enough, the left shoe just completely stopped working. For $350..... not stoked.

Shoes are great. App doesn’t work. The shoes are pretty awesome however the app leaves a lot to be desired. Straight out of the box and the shoes won’t pair. It keeps saying my left shoe has been paired but then will never connect. I reached out to Nike after I tried all the other steps as outlined in other posts. No longer has app support don’t buy theses shoes. Nike adapt BB 2.0. Great shoe but if you connect w/o having shoe on your foot there’s no way of releasing string to place (space) foot into shoe. Automatic adjustment stays where it is and tighten down ,the rest is aggravating . No help from Online, video shows ways of release (DOESN’T Work) . Hopefully they can add a feature to RELEASE STRING ADJUSTMENTS on app. My other pair work great but I tried on and made adjustments $$$$ . NIKE PLEASE ADD LEFT/RIGHT FOOT STRINGS RELEASE

Nice Bookends!!. So after trying to deal with the shoes for 2 weeks by myself and not being able to get the right shoe to connect, I went against my better judgment and called Nike. Oh what a waste of time that was. I did all their reboots, clearings, uninstalls, reinstalls and troubleshooting to be right back in the same spot another 2 weeks later. I love these shoes. I love these shoes and the app but could there be a function to turn the lights on for a longer period of time just to show them off it would be cool if I could play a game and have the lights shine the same color as my jersey while on the court

Lights don't stay on.... I like the shoe. I had trouble connecting to the shoe even with customer service helping but I ended getting it to work. Now that I have it working I found out that the custom color you get to choose only stays on for a few seconds. What's the point of choosing a certain color if it doesn't even stay on?? Is this going to change?

Great Shoes - Needs Always On LEDs. Honestly, the app works flawlessly so I have to give it 5 stars. The only gripe I have is that the LEDs only stay on for a second or two. I’d definitely trade battery life for lights any day, I use my shoes all day and they only go down 1-2% anyways.

Needs app improvements. I like it, but needs to have where you can leave your lights on all the time or control when your Lights are on! I think most of us like the little lights on all the time or control the individual colors! If you are paying $300 for a pair, you better get more functionality

Dope Shoe/App not pairing with shoes/Sizing. The concept and look of the show is really dope. The shoe is comfortable and light for having a motor inside for the lacing. Anyone experiencing a tight fit can replace the insole with a thin gel insole or remove the insole completely if needed. Downside is the app will not allow me to pair with shoes, but I am able to setup my fit manually and have the auto lacing work. Hopefully an update for the app rolls out soon so I can pair shoes and set up profiles. Nike should of perfected all aspects of the shoes/app and its capabilities prior to its release.

Already Paired, Try Again. Really excited to get shoes. I charged the shoes over night. Downloaded the app from the App Store. Followed directions to pair. I can not get past the Pair screen in the app. I looked up “Trouble Shooting” followed the directions and did not work. Shoes show up “Not Connected” in Bluetooth. I’ve deleted them tried to connect after reboot and get same results. Paying a premium for the shoes to be self lacing and not working very disappointed .

Only one of the shoes connect to the phone after software update in the app. The shoes connected to the phone fine the first time, but when I updated the software in the app, I could only connect to one shoe, the right shoe at the time. When I factory reset the hardware (shoes) only the left shoe connected to the phone.

Great start. Love the shoes! App is simple. What I need next is the ability to tell Siri loosen my shoes or tighten my shoes without using my phone or pushing any buttons. That would be amazing, but I’m sure it’ll come along since this is just the start. Good job! Keep the updates coming!!! 👍

Siri integration. I would love to see a option to integrate Siri with the app, so once the presets are available in app I can tell Siri to tighten or loosen my laces via voice. Or when I need a certain preset for a basketball I can tell Siri and it just goes to that present via voice command

App broken shoes lack features. The app use to work for a few months but now I can’t even access the app to adjust the shoes and have to do it all manually, it always brings me to a Paring screen and says they’re already paired but never allows me into the app further, the shoes light feature is lacking in the fact that the lights cannot stay on I think most of us expected this to be one of the features, pretty upsetting for such an expensive retail shoe!

I hope Nike releases an update to where the lights on the shoes either stay on all the time or flash like how they do when they’re charging or even like a little strobe and change in between colors.... that’s all... other than that, the shoes are great!

They tie up before I start wearing them. Just got the shoes and after setting my preferences and everything the shoes now start to tie before I start wearing them. I try to put the shoes on and half way they start to tie. It’s a bit frustrating because every time this happens I have to connect the shoes again and undo them before starting to wear them again. This needs to be fixed

App need to be fixed!. They were woking fine until i decided to install the app update and now my left shoes is bricked. Called Nike throughout the weekend several times and they basically said they couldn't any anything at the moment being it is a technical issue. Really like these but hesitant to keep if the error isn’t fixed soon.

Left shoe will not pair (please help, fix, return or exchange). It has been over a week and I have not been able to pair my left shoe and now the left shoe is completely unresponsive when I press either button or both at the same time physically. I have removed both from my Bluetooth settings, updated my iOS to the most recent update and still no luck. (No lights, no response what so ever)

The future is interesting.... Anyone having trouble pairing, make sure your remove your phone case, or turn your phone screen towards the shoes will do the trick too.

The best and coolest shoes I have ever bought. I recently got the Nike adapt huarache and they are extremely comfortable plus the sleekness and easy usage of the app that it comes with is incredible

Can’t connect anymore. I have 4 pairs of adapt and they were all connected fine. I hadn’t worn the shoes in some time and when I went to wear them yesterday they weren’t in the app anymore and now when I try and add them is says already connected. Tried everything on earths I could find. I even spent 15 minutes on the phone with support and all she disowns tell me they are going to escalate it and someone will get to me.

Not enough features. Lights should have more possible settings. Maybe stay on while being worn, or blink when stepping...???. Also, there should be a distance tracking feature for running. Not as cool as it could be.

Great shoes but ..... The shoes are great and seem to get better with every update but the current update has made it so when you save a mode and exit you can’t get to that saved mode without saving a new one. Hopefully this issue gets fixed in a future update

Not consistent enough to showcase shoes. I always look like an idiot cause im like “check it, my shoes lace themselves!” Followed by five minutes of me opening and closing the app trying to get it to work. It works almost 1/3 of the time so pretty good. Sometimes like twice a week i cant get my shoes off and it tightens really tight and it actually hurts, and also it ALWAYS has trouble connecting, BUT when it does work its really cool!
