APP ISSUES. The camera itself is great, quality and sound are what you’re paying for but the app does not work as it should. Connecting to wifi to see videos is terrible and live camera option does not work whatsoever on my phone. When I select the live video option, the app just freezes and I have to reopen it again, which is not what I’m looking for. Please update the software in the app.

Great App. I’ve used different cameras and softwares and by far I think this surpasses them all. Not only is it constantly being updated if bugs and issues are to be found but it also provides a simple overview of what you can change. I haven’t noticed any groundbreaking issue within the app and if there’s an issue, it may just be a simple hardware problem. However, one of the issues I actually am facing is audio. If downloaded through the computer (via sd card) the levels and distortions of the audio is fixed but if the file is extracted from the app, distortion noise levels can be heard.

Numbernine. Needs to be a lot more user friendly. For an app not used everyday it would be very awkward. Being that it takes a very long time to download a file you don’t need the aggravation. Being that the screen is so small it is must for the app to be easier to use. It’s a deal breaker for me.

Ehh. Nothing really wrong with the app, it’s just a hassle. Camera has to be on in order to connect to your phone, otherwise you can’t download the videos. Camera is pretty great though!

Terrible app. Considering modern day technology, this app is absolutely horrible. Makes me want to return the whole camera. Takes a lifetime to download any video. The way the app operates is as if an idiot with no brain made it. This app makes the dashcam 100% not worth it. Highly do not recommend the dashcam just because the app is that bad!!! If i could have zero stars i would.

Big disappointment. I'm not going to lie the video quality and material is amazing stuff, but sadly what makes this whole experience very horrible is the fact that the application is basically useless. The app has no purpose I'm speaking from IOS device perspective. Hopefully the company fixes this issue very soon if not please check another company out.

Horrible. App is absolute trash. I have never been able to get my phone to connect to see any videos. I have been trying to get video footage of a burglary that was caught on my dash cam to give to police, but no luck. Absolutely horrible. Can’t imagine if I had been in a wreck or something I would have absolutely no footage to show

Lousy app. This is the worst app ever. I imagine the developer is sitting back, laughing while he/she cashes in on the money being made rather than troubleshooting to fix all the bugs. This app will not allow you to view videos. It is very difficult to connect with your Internet Wi-Fi. take my advice don’t waste your money. lousy, lousy, lousy. Oh by the way, did I say this is a lousy app?

Disappointed. Unfortunately I have to agree with most of the reviews here. The app and in general the Wi-Fi capability on this terrific dash cam is just bad. Almost useless. You can't connect to the cam unless you're in the car while it's on. And videos take forever to download. There's really no point in using the app or the Wi-Fi. If you need to see the videos just unplug the card and stick it in your computer. The camera on the other hand is flipping terrific! The app and the Wi-Fi is totally useless.

App big time fail. I bought the AZDOME dashcam because it was able to download your videos through their app.. it took way too long to download just one video.. just when you think it’s done. Download fail.. Also app lags a lot. Having second thoughts about this dashcam.!! 😡

Amazing camera app is good. The dash camera and app is amazing. People are just too lazy to want to have to connect the app to the dash to get footage off of it. I personally have no issues whatsoever. The footage comes out crystal clear. Love how it shows the speed limit I’m going. It even allows you to download it onto your phone. The sound for the videos are as clear as day and the infrared light is amazing doesn’t make the footage look blurry or too bright

Amazing Camera. It’s just a wonderful camera the functions wonderfully! Great video quality and very dependable. The only issue with this whole thing is the APP!!! You guys really need to get this app up to par and make everything very easily accessible whether your in your home or in the car without having to remove the flash card. A great app can make ya or break ya!! Simplicity is the key….

Trash. Don’t even bother this is the worst thing I’ve ever used I can’t even see what’s going on using this app because it takes forever to load and it doesn’t even load what’s going on so I can’t tell what’s going on this is honestly the worst piece of junk I’ve ever seen

AZDOME app. I installed this AZDOME app for the AZDOME Cam had issues with connection to my iPhone (wifi) and realized that if the wifi is lost the cam wifi turns off, then I would have to go the cam wifi to turn it back on so it a work on my iPhone, and when the vehicle is turn on the app works ok but when it’s off you lose the use of the app, the app can be a little bit better and the menus for the app, I still don’t get the gps with the app. I would like to give a good rating but I can’t at this time.

Great camera. It’s a great camera with a excellent customer services. They attended for WhatsApp and they help any moment to you with any problem or issue with the app or the camera.

Doesn’t retain settings. The app seems to have much more capability than accessing thru the dashcam itself. I paid to the more expensive option with a rear camera. The app lets you turn on both front and rear cameras and record however the settings don’t save to the dashcam. This means ever time the car shuts down and you restart you have to get out your iPhone connect to the wireless network go into setting and turn the second camera on. If you don’t it JUST records the rear camera as it thinks u are in reverse. I wish it could be set up to record BOTH rear and front camera simo without the tedious effort.

Please help. I’ve been using this app just fine until today when I went to start recording on my way to work and it asked me for log in credentials, which I don’t even think you need to use it. You just connect to the Wifi the cam comes with and it works. I bought the camera because I was in an accident and my car was totaled and I have bad anxiety while driving now. I’ve tried to look at the developer website but the contact us section is weird and won’t let me submit a form for the United States. Please help :(

Good. Only thingbis like what other people who has this may say is that you only get to access the videos when u start up the engine and then connect to it its kinda lot of work just to access your videos. Eniwei so far the reaolution is ok enough but the app access needs a lot of work. No really it does.

Garbage is too kind. Good luck. The app can’t stay connected to the camera for a minute. Literally disconnects nonstop while you use it, forcing you to go into connections and reconnect, horrible app…awful app…any other negative adjectives you can apply to an app, apply it to this one. 0 stars if that were possible.

It’s alright…. This camera really has potential, it comes with a lot of features, but the app could be better. My camera managed to record about 8-10 different videos within one trip, and I’m pretty sure you can’t record video unless the app is open? I’m still trying to get used to it, but the app could be more user-friendly. Camera itself is fine, app needs work

Needs work. The camera is great quality, but the app seems cheap compared to the camera quality. The live feed really doesn’t work without a ton of glitching, and it takes a little while to download the videos you take. Once you do they’re great, but you also can’t watch a recorded video without it stopping to load every 2-3 seconds unless you download it. I still say it’s worth it, but the app could use some much needed upgrades

New Update. There is a problem with today's update. If I want to create an account, I have to enter my email and then verify it with a text message. When I press the "Send Verification Message" button, a red message appears saying "Cannot connect to server". Please solve the problem as soon as possible.

A. Horrible cannot open the camera without sitting in the car and the engine is running and you have to do multiple steps to review the footage and also too many steps to even review the footage and on top of that it cost a lot of money $195 is too much for this camera this camera should be under 50 bucks. Honestly it’s a good camera but the system of the camera is trash. I wish I could do a refund.

Terrible app, good dash cam. I really hate that this app won’t allow videos to be viewed unless you’re sitting in the car with the engine running. What an amateur, entry level app for a company that has great reviews and sales for their dash cams. Another annoyance is that no controls can be managed from the smartphone app. Meaning, settings can only be done through the dash cam and NOT the app itself. Ridiculous! Also, what’s up with having to not be able to connect to the wifi without having to go through several steps? Turn on wifi on dash cam > open settings > connect to dash cam > open app > wait and view. In an accident situation, should I have to go through all that? Yep. Why? Because this is a horrible app. Good camera though.

Camera is great, App is horrible. I got everything setup and tested it before I routed all the wires. It worked fine. Now that it’s all mounted, the live in-App feed doesn’t work. You can only review/download videos while you are connected to the camera, which mean you have to be in the car and have the engine on, horribly inconvenient and frustrating. And the full videos (I have mine set to 1 minute) did not download at all. I have to save clips of the parts I want and download them. I also heard that the G sensor (hard wire only) will drain your battery if you don’t run your car every 3 days. Pointless if you have this installed in a non daily vehicle. However, even though I can’t see the live feed, the App does connect, record, and save as soon as I start the car.

Will. Worst app I’ve ever seen it gets about 40 to 50% download and it wants you to sit in the car for two hours to download one video and then it freezes. Please read these reviews before you purchase your dash cam because if you have to use this app you’re wasting your money.

Not consistent connect with my dash cam. First, there was nowhere I can register my account to save my figure. Everytime I open the app, I have to find a way to connect my app. Second, after driving 1 and hf hr back home, I just figured out that my dash cam was not connected to the app.I recorded noth. Ignoring whatever 4K solution, please improve the app! THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT!

Wish it allowed for connecting to Wifi. Would like to be able to store an save videos accidents etc. If it would be able to do this it would definitely get 5 stars

Re-setting problems. It was nice in the beginning of setting up, view of camera is great. But after if the camera SIM card gets full is a hull messed trying to conect to Wi-fi and resetting to how it was in beginning. I have used this cam for about now 5months and geez what a problem. i cant get it to work at all now. I don't like that i cant get it to work after SIM card full and bought another one with 126gb and still nothing.

turn car play off. I have a Ford F150 with wireless carplay. If I don’t turn carplay off I can’t connect to the app But as soon as I turn carplay off on my phone I can connect flawlessly and app and camera functions great. Not sure which is the issue this app or carplay??? but as long as the cameras record and I can do a work around connect if needed then i’m good. if something really happened I could always connect sd card to pc.

App freezes IPhone. I Bought the DashCam , the day the cam came I downloaded the app. I connected to the WiFi camera signal attempted to configure to camera via the App. After the initial connection the app froze on the default image and locked up my phone. This app is nowhere near functional!

The app is awful. I think that the dashcam itself is good but the app is awful the fact that you have to connect to the wifi every single time you get into the car is so inconvenient and the developers are doing nothing about it.

Is this a joke????. I have been trying to use the app for two days with it only showing some beach scene God knows where and not showing me anything to do with my camera. Whenever I try to connect to the camera, I see the beach scene and it freezes. Then I have to close the app and start all over. Two days. This is on an iPhone.

Could be better. The camera has good quality, but the app not so much. Videos take way too long to download. Connecting camera to phone was tricky. Also, I don’t need the app to tell me the route I took. A GPS feature would be a nice addition. If you ask me, the cost I paid for this device was a bit overboard. I shouldn’t have to connect to the camera everytime I get in the car. That is a problematic issue. Put your heads together and make the app more user friendly and not so amateurish.

App issues. The camera resolution is perfect. the screen is resolution is perfect. The major issue with this product is it’s application. When previewing the recorded videos via the app it does not load. it seems that their is a connectivity issue app x camera. Azdome please spend more money on the development of your app. I CANNOT PREVIEW ANY VIDEO WITHOUT UT TAKING AT LEAST 99% OF THE TIME LOADING.

Inadequate or inoperative support of Azdome M550 dash cam!. The app allows changing the camera’s settings, but they are not saved on exit. App does not automatically join smart phone. You must manually push a button on the camera, select the camera’s Wi-Fi, start the app and tap connect. This process takes you to the app’s Wi-Fi settings EVERY TIME, whether the settings are correct or not! Transferring files from the camera to the phone is PAINFULLY SLOW. To makes it worse, the transfer often hangs and forces you to exit the app and start over. The app permits viewing of all, front, rear, or internal cameras, but rear or internal views are swapped. Selecting the rear camera shows the internal camera and vice-versa. I don’t recommend this camera because of it’s app!

Stops recording on its own. You think it would do as it says and keep recording while deleting old videos but for some reason it only records when it wants. Had an incident and come to find out it stop recording an hr before the incident. While looking through the SD card I noticed missing days and nothing to show for it. Don’t waste your money

Not bad for $100!. If you’re like me, and don’t give a rat’s donkey, you’ll enjoy this app. Why? Let me tell you why. I turn my ignition on, and both cameras starts recording! Then I can access the recordings with the simple tap of a couple buttons on the app??!! Easy. I recommend it. Some of us folks should learn developing if we’re going to cry about every little detail. These folks are working magic whoever you are.

Terrible app. This app is terrible. The dash cam is connected to the WiFi and working perfectly fine yet it wouldn’t allow me to to view live recording. I tried countless times and yet I’m stuck with the screen “Tip: Please connect to the recorders WiFi network and open location permissions.” I tried contacting the azdome customer service and they haven’t replied to any of my emails. Overall terrible app and customer service…

Makes no sense. The overall camera is amazing but the app is HORRIBLE have to be inside your car to re wind and all that good stuff also blocks your Apple CarPlay would not recommend just buy a nexar sure they are $300 but would save you a lot of trouble

App is worthless. The app is worthless. You have to be inside of your running vehicle with the cam on to review the videos. It doesn’t automatically switch the Wi-Fi to AZDOME when you have your vehicle running. The instructions states you have to be within 10 feet of your vehicle in order to review what the cam has recorded. This is a false statement. As far as the dash cam, it does record a clear view Day and night. The app needs some serious upgrades. I am contemplating if I’m going to buy another one for a close friend retirement gift. Please AZDOME fix your app. You should be able to review the app away from the vehicle. What’s the purpose of this app if you are unable to view the videos in case of an accident.

Awful app and awful dash cam. I purchased this with the three cameras and the dang dash camera doesn’t ever record specific accidents and sometimes will only record 6-7 seconds which really ticks me off. I have deleted SD card and changed settings and still same thing. The app is awful because it doesn’t put anything in order at all and it’s so confusing to find the specific video that you want. I hate it and just bought a new dash cam and praying it will be better than this piece of crap! Don’t waste your money on this!!

Needs work. Video Stream doesn’t resume after viewing and downloading videos, stopping video feedback dialog is confusing, stopped recording, started recording are better terms. WiFi direct would have been a better connection method.

Won’t connect PG18s to iPad or iPhone. As stated in user manual will connect to iPhone etc.👎 Obviously not compatible with PG18s AZDOME. PC app works fine retrieving files from SD card.

Waste of time. Works great at first then after a while constant memory issue and can’t connect to app via Wi-Fi informs you have no internet connection. Can’t even factory default to reset. Lost my faith in this product.

Ok at first. Then can’t connect at all. Really good until recently. Now the app won’t let me view files or even see the live view. It’s constantly asking me to “turn off mobile data” only to immediately say it’s ok to “turn mobile data on”. This cycle didn’t end. In any case this app now makes using the Azdome camera useless. I’ve reset the camera, reinstalled the app. Nothing works! I also reported the fault twice using the feedback feature but no reply! I hope this app can be fixed because I liked it until this problem arose.

Useless App. This app just does not work and just says the sd card has no data and won’t even show live video so what is the point of it. Also it forces you to connect with wireless so if your mobile data is not working well you have no internet. Don’t understand why they don’t communicate with blutooth.

Most horrible dam camera ever used. Terrible WiFi connectivity. Strangely the dashcam can only be find when I’m at home connected to home WiFi & power source. Therefore I cannot setup dashcam inside the car & adjusting camera angle. I’m do it by guessing. The rear camera not recognised by dashcam or AZDOME app, it’s brand use, first time use. I don’t know it’s because rear camera physically broken or app issue. WiFi function unable to be switch off. As soon as car power up, the dashcam just continues alarm “WiFi’s On, 2.4G WiFi”. I have try every method listed in manual, nothing works. Only way to stop it is to power off. Despite this constant annoyance voice of WiFi on, the WiFi still can’t be detected. I have used multiple different brand & version of dashcam, this’s the worst.

Video playing. When I play a video it say 5min recorded. It only shows 5 second of it and not the rest ??? What is this ???

App doesn’t work. Hard to connect to the camera and then once connected, the app just does not show live stream or allow you to do anything even move back on the app tabs. Is there a way to see the data at least on the computer? If not, this is useless.

The app is so hard to use. I have difficulty using the app because you have to turn on the battery of your car or the engine to make the app work and view the videos. Now that they have updated the app, I can’t login anymore. I just installed the back camera and wanted to check if it’s working properly and now I can’t. This app is useless.

Super fast download of videos to your phone. At first, I has de same issue as describe in de Mars_life’s review, until I work out wid ma brain dat yo need to turn orf de mobile data on yo phone brah in order for de wifi connexion between your dashcam n de phone app to woik, okay. Then everything work sweet as n it takes only abou 10 sec onds to download like 20 minute video man to yo phone, okay (quicka dan it take ya to make sweet love to yo Queen!)

Connection. This app is not really working with camera. Can’t connect it to camera. I was able to connect just once. After that I tried to connect it but no luck.

Great value. I’ve had the 300s for a month now works fine You must remember to turn of “data roaming” in your phone

Waste of time and money. The app does not work it tells me to turn cellular data off then tells me to turn it on just going around in circles if you offer an app make sure it works. Disappointed

Request. Can you update a mirror mode to flip the screen Current mode is showing opposite. There is no option to flip or rotate the screen. Also can we get full screen on verticals mode

Works very well. Very good resolution and a nice dash cam. Have to follow the instructions and secure a stable power supply. Like the design, the high quality and the functionality. The wifi connection provides higher data flow than Bluetooth. Easy as. Thanks for putting the dash cam on the market.

Can’t connect to your own wifi or mobile data while using it.. If you do it would not allow you to open their app. The sticker tape is not strong enough to help it stay. Anyway it does work and good revolution. All videos and pictures are stored in the SD card. You can only access to them when your phone connect to its wifi.

Update error. I did an update on the app as requested and since I did the update 1 day ago I Can’t use the app to see my videos it says I have to log in or register but it won’t let me and for some reason as room as I did update it’s logged me out can’t access my videos.

App not working. Still not working app send new update

Wifi. Looked at the owners manual. It says to hold down the down arrow for 2 seconds then the m550 shows up on the wifi access on your phone. It worked for me

App isn’t working.. I can only confirm, the app isn’t working. Despite WiFi connectivity cannot get the video stream, cannot acces videos and pictures stored on the camera. One of the main reason I have chosen this camera was alleged WiFi feature.

Good Camera (M550) - but terrible app. You have to turn off the Cellur Data on my iPhone in order to get “real-time” video. Videos load slow…

Please don’t buy this camera. The app is very bad and can’t even click on anything,your better off than having an iPod as a dash cam

Privacy Concern. It’s a good Camera but why do you need my location to be able to record. That’s a major privacy issue. If an update doesn’t fix this then I am returning it.

It was a mistake. It was my mistake to buy the cam , I can’t use the app , the cam is connected to the WiFi and the app always ask to connect to the WiFi ((Please reconnect to the recorder's WiFi network and open location permissions)) which I already did .

Settings not remembered…. I’m not sure if it’s the camera not remembering , or the app not uploading… but all settings are set to default when check a few days after you personalize them.

Bad app good cam. The dash cam does everything I need it to. Unfortunately the app doesn’t do anything it would be great if i could actually connect to the app and see my dash cam feed.

Does not work. I can’t get it to work with an iphone 12 pro max. No matter what i do it keeps sending me to setting to change whatever but it doesn’t help.

Can’t connect to cam via app. App keeps telling me to reconnect to cam’s Wi-Fi and enable location privileges. I have. I can’t view any camera data since I updated the app, even though it worked in the old version.

Don’t work for iPhone 8. I purchased AZDOME 3 Channel 4K front and 1080p for cabinet and rear. I connected WiFi and app records automatically. It requires stop recording then can operate other functions. But once I stop recording all buttons don’t work. The app freezes.

Apps doesn’t work.. Please fix the apps. It is not letting me connect to wifi and I can’t access the menu or view videos using the apps. I don’t know if this is a developer issues or the dashcam itself.

Fix the app. This app need more improvement, please fix it and people will buy this brand again or recommend it to another people

Doesn’t work. The app is very glitchy. When I’m on WiFi mode, it doesn’t consistently let me control the camera from the app and it will just freeze.

Perfect!!! Great job. Works great! Just what I needed! App works great! Loads videos into phone. No problem here.

Worst ever camera I got. Dnt buy not worth it Cnt watch videos unless car is running and it doesn’t connect automatic you have to connect yourselves not worth the time or money way overpriced would rate no stars but u have to do one

Dash-cam is okay but worst app. Can’t view or download video until set under cam or in car. The app is laggy and useless. I am not sure it’s uses the right 5Hz WiFi because the download speed is worst than 2G.

Updated System. Me too. Hate seating inside vehicles and wires is no good either. Slow interface downloads. It’s freeing the app. They’re should by passing the system. Can access video anywhere. How can we updated the system.

App. There is no option for parking mode in the app. My cam model is m300s. You must clarify this issue.

If it’s working fine DON’T update it. They say the update is to fix some issues yet right after the update I can’t login anymore, I can’t register a new account or reset my password.

Dash cam. Don’t try buy this stupid product it’s junk app is bad camera is you just loosing your money

Pretty good for $45 dash cam. The camera has a good performance overall. The ability to be able to save videos over Wi-Fi is beyond great! The suction cup for the mount is 10 star out of 5!! Solid built for the price!

Wont even connect to my cameras. I’m so upset I spent a lot of money on cameras that won’t even connect to the app? Even with the car running it still wont work. Had people help me, reached out to customer service never got a response. What a waste.

Could be better. it’s a tiny camera & honestly it feels very outdated kinda sorta for the $130 I paid for… idk. I feel like I made a mistake. app is very simple.

Scam. Don’t purchase. Video doesn’t save to Iphone. Has lot of areas to improve. Sending it back.

AZDOME M17. The AZDOME M17 app isn’t working when activated to view, delete video clips. Tried to delete and reinstall app, same results, tried to access the dashcam through ipad same results.

Trash. Absolute garbage app, I cannot warn people not to buy this dash cam. I am deemed at fault for an accident when the other party flew by the stop sign. This was my only proof and it isn’t working. Please do not buy this

Horrible. This app doesn’t work, at least for me. I have an iPhone 10 and I have never been able to view live video. After this new update, nothing works. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and it still won’t work.

App doesn’t work. No matter what I press it doesn’t do anything. None of the functions work. Not able to see if the cam is even recording and storing data. Waste of money don’t buy cam.

Trash. I truly regret buying this garbage dashcam. The app is completely useless, it keeps telling me to stop recording to view the footage or to insert the sd card 😂. And live view? HA! Forgot about that it just keeps throwing errors. Never again am I buying a dashcam that has an app. The developers don’t care.

needs improvement. you have to be in the car with the engine running in order to view the footage. it is such an oversight in production. the dash cam is great, but you can’t use any other storage device either. only the 64 gb that comes with it is compatible. you can’t remotely view footage within the app which defeats the purpose.

Camera 3channel 550 APP DOESNT WORK. I just hook my camera even got the hot wiring kit installed. It connects to phone but once I go to the app to try to open the camera it says this THE CELLULAR NETWORK WILL CAUSE THE VIDEO NOT TO BE PLAYED. PLEASE TURN OFF THE CELLULAR NETWORK (what???..) I turned off my cellular data went back on app and it still won’t work. I’m at a loss here. 0 stars

Can’t connect. Phone connects to cam and that’s it. Can’t view files. Can’t view real time. When I go in to real time mode it freezes up and I have to force close the app just to go back.

Useless app. What in the world you need to register account to use your dash cam? Bring back the older version.
