Fun and addictive. My new favorite game! Can’t stop playing! Love the story line!

A fatal error. I was just playing the game with the new update, and I LOVE IT. But, with new content, there would be bugs. And of course, the bug I got was closing out of the game. Nothin bad, but could be annoying to do a hard level and then get kicked.

Fighter thralls. The game is awesome and I Hecking love it. However I’ve unlocked three fighter thralls and none of them show up. I don’t know if it’s because of we’re I am in the game, or because it’s a glitch. I think in order to fix this issue there should be a menu that lets you equip and unequip your thralls. Other than this little error I love this game! 👍🏼

Good game. One suggestion. I like the minimal approach in controls to this game. Feels strange at first but ends up feeling very intuitive. Only suggestion I have for this game is to offer an option to turn off background music while retaining sound so that I can play my own music.

Great game. Really fun gameplay. If you get stuck in a level close out the app and then reload it.

Terrible... Need a full restart function, enemies are too difficult, you are going to die.. a lot.. and health should be abundant, which it isn’t. I like hard games, this isn’t hard.. it’s annoying. The move tap system is terrible since there is no flip sideways mode for button play. I want to direction pad walk with weapon use.. tapping for everything will limit every user. I don’t spend money on games but have gotten tired of P2W... this is a very huge waste of funds. Giving it a second chance, I found it even more terrible.

A really underrated gem!. I buy most of my mobile games based on impulse. If it looks cool, I’ll try it out. I don’t expect much from most mobile games, but every now and then I get hooked on a really neat title. Immortal is awesome. The game is like a small roguelite mixed in with a mini “choose your own adventure” style story. If you kill a certain scientist, it might set off another chain events or if you turn a general into a vampire, he might provide you with better weapons to start off a run. You always make a bit of progress every run whether you end up surviving longer or acquiring blood drops which result in permanent upgrades for you to start like costumes with helpful abilities or better weapons, etc. I like the animation and pixel art. The music is good too. Keep up the good work! Buy it.

Not a finished product, and the game is very slow.. Getting blood in this game is terrible. I can’t even make it past 700 years and put in an hour into it. I wouldn’t buy it again and actually want a refund because of how many times the game glitches out. Terrible.

Wow!! Wow, wow, wow... 39 seconds in and I’m in love... definitely a great rogue-like but with more action! I do wish there was more control over what weapons I get to use and I don’t really understand the resurrect as it doesn’t seem to work.

Fun but can be annoying.. What I love about this game is it doesn’t punish you for getting killed, you actually get some buffs and perks. With this said you will most likely die a lot if your not that good at fast mostly up close games like I. It took me like 5 tries to kill Dracula’s hound, and after killing him the levels only get harder it seems if you get hit once your dead. When I finally got to the Dracula level I didn’t even make it to him before I died. At that point i was a little annoyed going through the seemingly same decisions and levels all just to die and do it again, a real ground hog day feel. But if you have the time or are bored and just want to mess some enemies up as a vampire go for it. One thing I would like is a OST, I wouldn’t mind paying for it, specially the final Dracula stage music which sounds sick.

Great game so far. Hey I wanted to let you know your game is good but I found an issue in the very beginning of the game. After beaten the first human you come across. You advance up a little bit to make the trees appear in the first square you are in. If you didn’t destroy the barrels there, and use the heavy attack to destroy them through the trees. The game will crash

Mobile Bloodborne with a side of rouge-lite goodness. This game is pretty darn great, I don’t usually compare mobile games to triple AAA games but I feel this deserves it. Definitely worth every single penny in my book. Although if I’m being honest it is a tiny bit dated and could use a tutorial level or two. As well as maybe a couple updates to make things more fluid and fun. I don’t think this deserves to be so low on the App Store ratings it is 100% top 20 best action games of all time in the App Store. It just needs a little polish and more depth. It’s quite challenging sure. But trust me on this, you won’t regret this download!

Bravo. This game has it’s fair share of bugs (I’ve been stuck numerous times, via those moving fire spitters or wonky map generation) But despite all of that I love it. Definitely recommend this to those who love Rogue-like gameplay.

Enjoying it so far!!. So iv been a big fan of rougelike games especially on pc, and this game is probably the best, it reminds me of dead cells in which you can slowly progress by collecting blood through killing enemies, the better you are at the game the fast your progress. So far lots of fun and actually has somewhat of a choice system in which you decide how the future will be. However there are a few issues I do have. One is the glitch where if you dash at a wall sometimes you will get stuck and the enemies will absolutely obliterate you if you don’t know the exact why to get out. Another is the weapon balancing, now I understand that the weapons are preference and get stronger over time however the cultless sword is the best starting sword to have as the added range beats any other light weapon in the game, the double edge is pretty good too. But the mace is really bad and needs a buff. I would also love to see like frequent updates so we can grow this world! Great job so far.

Terrible. This games depth is paper thin. Overpriced. Should be .99 cents. All you do is go thru some nonsensical plot that’s random. Then fight the same handful of guys over and over. Until u decide you got your money’s worth. Good luck with that.

Fantastic game, worth the buy, but. This is a great game and i have a lot if fun playing it. I wish, however, that there were more outcomes. I’ve seen the same out come happen multiple times, even when changing my actions.

Fatal error. Love the game but after a certain point it gets this fatal error and it wont load making it completely unplayable. All I can do is delete the app redownload and start from the begining all over again

A Fresh Take. In a world filled with rogue likes that all are almost identical, this one one really stands out. The controls are slick and perfectly suited for mobile devices, a lot of rogue likes have kind of clunky controls, Immortal Rogue really steps it up. Graphics are pretty nice, it still has the pixel art style of other rogue likes but feels like a general upgrade. The choices actually change how difficult and the game looks. It’s a great game overall, Hell I would have paid more for it if I could. Whether your killing time while waiting for coffee or playing for like an hour before bed. It’s a fantastic game, great work Kyle!!!

Intriguing. So glad to have a new addictive action roguelike. I’m a big fan of the aesthetics and the mysterious story. The permanent upgrade system is appreciated. This could become the next Wayward souls... if only the controls were more like Wayward Souls: Virtual joystick on one side to move, tap the other side to attack, or hold to prepare special attack. As is, the controls are adequate but a bit clumsy.

Excellent Rogue-like Back and Slash. Thanks for an excellent game! The balance is great, the weapon and skill combinations are endlessly enjoyable. I also love the snarky comments by the thralls. I’ve almost reached 3000 years and it gets really hard fast. One thing. I have everything maxed and have one sacrificial thrall to unpick, but I can never finish spending my blood points. I can have hundreds and max Heatseeker Allo out, but then I never get the “Your House is finished” message. Really frustrating.

A good buy. 4.5. It’s in my top five rouge likes because unlike most in this genre it doesn’t try to wear out your resources. Some problems I’ve noticed is it’s very difficult to control your character with the precision needed to avoid the traps and mobs of enemies that appear, some of the weapon upgrades are too situational to actually bother with, some of the characters you can give you a one run buff it would be nice to be able to toss them out without buying it (perhaps by placing a special marking next to the thralls that offer permanent upgrades) and after beating the boss I got a faction mission and the guys on my side friendly fired me to death. Also the only armor that has is any good is the cannibal set.

Good but has an issue or two. This game is very fun and is very addicting to play for 1 minuet of 1 hour. The only complaints I have for this game is the enemy balance at some points and there are times when I will somehow get stuck inside part of the level(usually this happens around the blue spikes or parts of the scenery that sticks out). To fix this I need to close the app and then open it again. The only enemies I have a problem with are the hawk like enemies with the staffs and the red devil looking ones. Both of these enemies I feel deal way to much damage especially the red devils. Other than that the game is great, would recommend to anyone interested.

Really catches you attention!. This game is definitely worth the money for some fast action at work or something! Definitely for those of us that grew up in the 90's!!! The reason it got 4 stars I’m sorry to say is there is no way to restart the game. 😭 I just deleted it and re-downloaded so I could have a fresh start and do it right this time around. Great game overall folks!!!

Fun game, has room for improvements. Absolutely fun and fast paced, makes you feel like a total bad a**. The game has several bugs to address ASAP. Some units are invincible where no matter how many times you hit them, they don’t die... unless you hit them over and over until eventually they start getting damaged. Some areas of the map you can get stuck in. When the camera pans over to the boss of the map, units that are next to you will damage you immediately. Solution is to give more time to get away from the units, or stop panning over to the boss.

Solid, fast, fun. I’d recommend this to anyone. Great for 5 minutes or 2 hours. It gets right to the point and gives you simple options. The combat feels great and the difficulty is refreshing. To the dev: it’s possible for the ice walls and some corners of the map to permanently trap the player and ruin runs. It’s not super common, but enough to mention. Thanks for making this game!

Absolutely casually hardcore!. This game is amazing and combines the best worlds of casual and hardcore games. You literally use one hand to fight hordes of enemies using multiple attack types and equipment/skills, all while either swiping or taping the screen. Plus it works well on iPhone X. Cheers to the dev!

Fun, Original, Challenging, and Addictive. In a crowded mobile space, Immortal Rogue really stands out. Rather than just surface-level, mindless clicking, it brings impressive polish, unique mechanics, interesting premise, and a fun, replay-worthy formula to the table. The combat is fun and easy to learn, and the game offers a progressive challenge for those who are up to it. What’s really nice about Immortal Rogue is that you can pick it up and play for a couple minutes, or stick to it for a few hours. Either way, you’re getting a satisfying, rewarding experience. The added layers of the time-traveling story, upgradable abilities and weapons, and changing environments really gives it a fresh, addictive quality every time you jump back in. This one’s a winner and should be played by anyone who loves an original, well-made game—looking forward to how many years I can make it on my next run through time.

Would be nice to disable music and keep sfx. This is an essential feature for me. Otherwise I actually really like the game.

Could be so much better!. The game is great at start but after you get deeper in and start to unlock a lot of people it brings issues. After you get around 4-5 people you cant get anymore. You can still “buy” them but you will not get to use them so it’s just a waste. Otherwise the game was pretty good.

Room for improvement. Get stuck in little glitches every now and then, but best game I ever played

Freaking simple yet dope. I’ve had this for a bit and I played it beat it and gotten really far eventually I got a bit bored and stopped playing this game but later I found out there was some interesting updates and I’m loving it, it gives the game more variety and more of a reason to come back. 👍🏻All I can say is keep up the work and hopefully we will all be looking forward in this game !

Super cool!. This game is super fun and I have really enjoyed my time playing it! The combat is responsible and engaging, reminding me a lot of hyper light drifter. There are some features I think would add a little kick to the game like the ability to customize house members or have some sort of hideout for your house members.

A game that replaces the Legendary Infinity Blade. Best $2 dollars I spent. Used to play Infinity Blade for hours and now it is gone from the app store. This game fills that void! Look forward to a sequel or constant updates. Maybe a multiplayer option?

Lots of fun, but end game is buggy. Loving this mobile title. Definitely worth the purchase. However, the end fame is a little buggy. Once you unlock everything, there is nothing left to spend your blood on. The issue is that you cannot “rise again” without first spending all your blood. So now, I have to force close the game after each round and restart. Everything else is great though!

Great Game Ruined by Movement Bug. Loved the game and mechanics, really fun. However, twice in two sessions I’ve gotten trapped by a tree while moving such that the only way I could advance the game was waiting for an enemy to kill me so I could start over (which takes a while). Very frustrating, not sure the game is good enough for me to tolerate it. EDIT: And today the game began giving me a fatal error whenever I click Settings. Yeesh, removing a star.

Very Replayable. Great game to kill a few minutes, 20, or more. I get the same enjoyment as the first time, and I’ve been playing a bunch, all pandemic. I wish there were a few options though- like to reset the level. Sometimes the randomized building show up in a way that blocks the path to the enemies...

So far, so really good, fix the sound.. So far I really like this game. Great one purchase game, simple controls, and having fun leveling up. Hope that the upgrades have better versions down the line. Only thing that made it lose a star is the sound. Sometimes the music is overwhelming and you cannot here the sfx. Please add separate on/off or volume control for music and the sfx. Good job.

If Bloodborne was Bloodborne but not exactly. This has probably been my favorite purchase on the App Store. It’s fun to slowly get stronger with each new perks, plus from what I can tell(I’ve only reached year 900 so far) this game has plenty of content Edit: I’m still enjoying the game(now 1300 years) however I’ve been experiencing a couple bugs. When I turn one of the characters and it gives me the ability to revive with partial health I didn’t revive, and sometimes I get stuck in small spaces. Edit #2: Any plans for update? I haven’t picked the game in a sec but I haven’t deleted either(which I do to most games I stop playing for a week or more). I think this game is still great but an update would be sweEt

Amazing replay value. The weapon styles are varied and I pretty much love everything. I will say that the improvised grenade is too strong tho. Can easily go way past Dracula by abusing the overcharge/time dilation combo and killing everything before it even comes on screen. I would say that it would be cool to have an option to “reroll” once you max your thrall, which could give you some aesthetic boost or maybe add some small permanent buff? Would be fun to have to play without thrall again Also please fix the bug where the red orb one shot kills you while Dracula is talking in the 1200th year. This has happened to me multiple times and can’t be avoided.

Great game but...... I really enjoyed this game but when I understood that each level is basically the same but with a different skin kind killed it for me. Also the game is a little to easy wasn’t very hard for me to get to Dracula and kill him. After you killed Dracula the game is basically finished you just play the the same levels again but with more enemy’s. What I’m saying is add more content and harder content.

Decent execution. Fun gameplay but weapons are unbalanced (maul is always the best) Other problems: Allies make enemies more unpredictable, rerolling for better weapons is annoying, and BUGGY. Many times I’ve gotten stuck in an object or the stage end portal was out of reach.

Best 2$ ever spent. WOW when I bought this I never expected me to get so into this game it’s all I want to play anymore. The combat is unique old school-ish super challenging and fun. And I like once you beat Dracula the game has only begun because....well no spoilers. But the best game I have played on mobile EVER! Some suggestions of things I would think would be cool in the game is 1 it would be neat if we could have a thrall that joins us in battle (maybe there is one and I haven’t got there yet but just in case) 2ofc I would love to see more scenarios from more time periods and country such as the Roman age ancient Egypt etc... 3 more melon enemy types because pretty much every melee is the exact same dude with the exact same attack but with different hp and att power. Thx for the great game!

Limited. It’s a good game, but it would be nice to see a list of the thrall sand their bonus after getting them. Also it simply needs more endgame content.

Excellent Game / Add iCloud sync. Immortal Rogue is a fun, addicting hack n slash perfectly suited for mobile. I only wish iCloud sync support could be integrated in an update..

Needs more. I can see this game being 1 or 2 dollars, but I think 5 is too much for what you get with it. It’s way to bare bones, it doesn’t have much meat on it. If the developer could add some more content (because it’s pretty repetitive) and fix the sound effects (slashing doesn’t FEEL good) it would be pretty good. But until then it’s not worth $5.

Not very fun. Art looks nice but when i got to it the game is really bland and unfulfilling. Basically just going from one room to another killing reimaged baddies. Don’t recommend

Overall not bad at all.. As another reviewer has already stated, the maul is technically always the way to go and this unbalance can make the game feel somewhat one-sided. But it’s not impossible to progress with the other light weapons. That aside I’ve been having a blast with this game. I’ll come back to it every couple of months and play for about a week until I’ve had my bloodsucking fix. I have yet to take the throne so the experience is far from over. Very enjoyable overall.

Its just ok. I feel a little ripped off i payd $7 its worh $2. I gave it an extra star for effort. It needs somthing more , good story, good characters but the game play gets repetitive way 2 fast

Needs some tweaking!. Game is ok, very repetitive at later stages. Also, why would you offer a 480 item at earlier stages when you can’t even make that amount, kind of pointless. Upgraded weapons, need to have a better mechanism to upgrade weapons, current shop is at random, might want to provide a third option to upgrade weapon.

Not worth $7. Definitely not worth $7, should be free with an option to pay $2 to remove ads. Game is very basic, a cool concept but poorly executed and extremely repetitive.

Awsome!!!. Solid!! Loved this game!!!! Takes time to master the only gripe i have is that I’d love to see some finality in the form of an ending or super Boss fight. But honestly the way it is, is polished and works well. Get this if u want a challenge!! It will piss u off but it is rewarding!!!!

Amazing gameplay, minor nitpicks. So, i have some nitpicks with this game, the narrative choices feel less significant then they probably should, the characters are a little shallow, and although the sprites are amazing, they really only use 2 chat sprites and the bars look like they’re from a low effort mobile game But the gameplay MORE then makes up for it The gameplay is absolutely amazing, it feels great, it’s challenging but it never feels impossible, the variety of weapons, upgrades, and abilities allow for many fun playstyles, and having many sets of enemies and eras allows so much replayablity and makes every experience feel so different, i would definitely recommend it to anybody into fast paced action roguelites

Need some bug fix and clear description. I love the game. But the map need a lot of fixes, a lot of decorative items in map are horribly generated, most of the time it block the only path connect to other side of the map or blocking mobs outside of the map where player can’t reach which cause be to kill myself by the trap because I can’t progress. The 2 weapons upgrade that need to update the description to make it moar clear or fitting are “increase damage to closer monster” and “increase damage to farther monster”, from the look of it, it sound like as long as monster is in a certain range around player of the 2 will activate because both upgrade can be apply to melee or range weapon…. Well no, “closer” here mean melee weapons and “farther” mean ranger weapons…. Please fix

this game gets it. portrait mode, one thumb controls, fluid movement, fluid attacks, replayability. i have been looking for this. it is the perfect mobile game. five stars.

This is a good game. I love rogue likes so this was a no brainer. Once you start getting the follower unlocks and being able to start stronger is when it started making sense to me. There are a few nitpicks that I have with it (mainly the narrative choices not really doing much) but otherwise a solid effort The 1* review that was left here was totally uncalled for

Great addicting game but buggy. I absolutely love this game, I have put countless hours and have gotten all the upgrades possible. The combat is wonderful and it really comes down to timing! Living blades are absolutely overpowered, going melee only is much more difficult. I enjoyed the randomly generated levels and how choices affect which enemies you encounter. But man this game really has some game-breaking bugs / UI issues. You need to collect “blood” during each play through. You use the blood you collect to purchase upgrades after each death. You need to spend all of the blood you collected in order to start a new play through. An issue arises when you have nothing left to upgrade, but you still have all this blood you collected and nothing to spend it on! There is absolutely nothing you can do because the game won’t let you move on to the next play through; you’re stuck and the only way to continue is to restart the app and lose all of the progress you made on that play through. For a paid app this is completely unacceptable. In terms of UI, the purchasing system is completely bogus. At the end of each level you have the option to purchase a new weapon, or an upgraded version of one. After several iterations I was able to get highly upgraded versions of each weapon, except now they are ridiculously expensive and you only have the option to purchase that level weapon (lvl. 5 instead of lvl. 1). This is frustrating when you just begin a new play through and every purchase you are offered is end-game level value. All in all, I absolutely love this game but the more you play it the more problems arise and make it unplayable. There are plenty more issues that I can mention.

Lags and then you die. good ideas, too ambitious for this guys coding abilities. skip this one guys lol edit: got stuck on a tree and died... another time got stuck on the wall and died. uninstalling this and asking for refund

Boring. This game is actually really boring/repetitive. You’ll do the exact same thing over and over with little control or finesse. The concept sounded cool, but it is just dull. It was a waste of $5.

Not worth the money.. No combat tips. Throws you into combat like good luck. When you die, you lose your gear and money and it’s nearly impossible to get it back. No story like it suggests it has. Over all crap game.

Very little to offer. Health regen opportunities for a vampire are lack luster. Becomes a mess at a certain point of dragging your character around.

Swipe to move. The worst idea in gameplay ever.

Terrible. Reminds me the choose your own adventures on a TI-83 calculator meets some repeating scenario slashing game against zombies w guns. Gets boring fast

Good game. Bad music.. Sound is important, but the sound design and music are the weakest part of what is an otherwise very good game.

I don’t understand they hype. It’s a rougelike with small maps, uninteresting combat, and clunky controls.

Broken. Just paid for the game and it crashes on the heavy attack part of the tutorial every time I am on iPad iOS 9.3.5 btw please fix or give a refund at least.

No endgame?. Enjoyed the game, but was disappointed to find there’s no endgame. It’s just the same recycling story over and over.

fun for first hour. then there are environmental bugs that you get stuck in, but exiting the game loses your hard-earned blood drops, and the gameplay is too repetitive, especially for anybody paying full price $4.99 for it.
