That 1 star person doesn’t understand. It’s for a game so why is it that you give it one star the tech only works with the actual game and pen so it’s just the game is just so you could see the drawing it’s like the that’s you app it’s free like this one and you need to have the game on PS4 for that’s you but you need the pen for this that’s how this tech works not being rude just clarifying

Need In-App Casting Option. I’m using an iPhone, but don’t have an Apple-tv, so unfortunately I have to use an hdmi connection which bring the device too close to the tv, try standing between the phone and the tv to draw, don’t work! If there is a way to introduce an in app casting like most streaming app, then maybe we can have an iPhone to a Chromecast or Roku compatibility.

Fixed error on load, game works fine now!. I posted a review a couple weeks ago about the game being unplayable - it would not open past the loading screen. Now, with the new update, the game opens and plays fine! I am positing this review recanting my previous one now that the error is fixed. This is a very fun game that is great at parties and family events!

The camera won’t stop freezing. It’s unplayable because the camera lags and freezes continuously. Really disappointed. - Reply to the developer comment. I have good wifi connection, and have tested it in different places. I’m also not the only one having this problem, as you can see by the recent comments. Hope you can fix the issue

Issues after update. We’ve had this game for quite a while and have never had any issues playing it. Since the most recent update, it has become so difficult to play. It doesn’t follow the pen well, the drawing moves around/seems to be floating sometimes even when the phone is held still, and we have to stand very close to the phone for it to even draw at all. None of these things happened before the update.

Camera is too dark. I tried on an iPad Pro and iPhone X. Both have such a dark picture you cannot see the person drawing. I tried a dark, dimly lit, and a well lit room. No difference. We even tried shining a spotlight on the person. No change. Game is not as much fun when you have to keep looking between the screen and person and try to put the two together. Please fix this asap.

Not worth it.. App crashes every 3 minutes so you can’t even play a full game. The pen tracking isn’t accurate in the slightest, so it’s not even playable. Nobody’s having fun when the game isn’t even doing it’s job. I think this digitalizing of the game is just to appeal to Gen Z, which WOULD have made big bucks if it actually WORKED. Me and my friends would much rather play the original as opposed to this absolute dumpster fire. Don’t gift this to anybody unless you want to be known as the person who gives the most disappointing presents. Please fix this before I run over the wand thing.

Buggy. Neat concept, but not even playable. Team mode just uses rear. Am of my iPad Pro and has no option to switch to front camera. Funny thing is that it works in selfie mode, but not in the normal game play mode, so useless :(. Please fix Mattel! Edit: so after reviewing the game rules, I stand corrected that the point of the ‘air’ version of this game is to _not_ know/see what you are trying to draw. But I think it would be a simple and easy way to add an extra mode of gameplay, especially for younger folks, etc to be able to play a mode where they can see what they are drawing.

It’s a great game I play it with my family I love it thank you for starting the game and stuff but yeah we love it we have a cherry air that’s great I was just wondering me and my family or a drink and a yellow heart or the blue heart or are they both harder you can let me know you don’t really have to do it in the hearts words are a post to be harder than that I’m doing this and so yeah we loved it where I am do you not have to do teams if you don’t have enough people we did it that way because there’s only two people and stuff but yeah

Fun but needs some work. Played for the first time last night. Had a lot of fun but some fixes need to be made. The instructions say you can say “clear” to clear the screen, but this never worked. Had to pick up the phone and do it manually every time. It would be great if the app was updated so that you’d never have to touch the phone. For instance, press the button a set number of times for next round, clear, or to stop because someone guessed correctly. If I could mount the phone somewhere, and play out a whole game without having to touch the phone again, this would be one of the greatest games ever! Also, a free play mode would be cool, where there is no timer, just a big blank screen to draw, clear with the pen, and draw again. Thanks.

Fun but frustrating. Trying to play this game according to the many guidelines the app intro suggests is a chore. You may end up playing this game in a different room than you were hoping to. The device you use to track the drawing needs to remain perfectly still or you’re essentially drawing by wiggling your device. To do this I used a tripod and if you don’t have one of those, that’s another added expense. At least the app is free.

Won’t get past the warning screen. After is says the orange warning screen it won’t load to the app and usually kicks me off to the homepage

Pictionary air is great. My children gave this to me for Christmas tonight!! We played it for over three hours! We laughed so much. It was a great night. Highly recommend! Took us a couple rounds to get the hang of the pen, but even those were fun.

More lies that lead to cries. No casting AT all. When MIRRORING to your tv you have to put it on selfie mode so that your drawing isn’t backwards. (But then you don’t have access to the drawing tools. But then again you don’t have access anyway as the drawer because the person holding the phone or tablet does. Bleh..... Bought it for the kids, they drew one line and are now in the kitchen having fun with a rubber glitter ball. The bast part of PictionaryAir is the battery. It’s a Duracell.

I love the game. I think that the game is really fine when I play it it does have some glitches where when you’re done with a line it brings another line right up when you didn’t even write it but in general it’s really really fine and I wish that you could have some more updates on it like with a Harry Potter one it won’t let me have a well the light for the squiggly lines so I really hope you can make it where you can fix that.

OMG so much cooler than I thought possible. I am so blown away by how cool this is! The commercial doesn’t even do it justice, which virtually never happens, right? Right. Plus, it is just as much fun for adults as it is kids (even the teenage grumpy ones😏😉)

I got this game for Christmas and I think it is so cool. I got this game for Christmas and I think it is really cool because you literally get to draw in the air! At first I thought it was magic lol but then I discovered all the technology behind it! That’s what made it really interesting for me! But I do have a suggestion that (personally) I think it would make it a whole lot easier for everyone (not just me): you should make it so that you don’t have to buy the cards, or pen. You should just have it so that the game would pick a random card for you, and then you draw it, let’s say, with a pencil from around the house. The game should be able to detect it, so it knows you are trying to draw something with it. I think that would help a lot of us because we all don’t want to buying some 20 dollar pen and all the cards just for an app. That’s why I think you should make the game make all that stuff “in-game) items. Like I said, feature the cards so that the game will pick them randomly for you, and make it so that you can draw with anything: a pencil, flashlight, pen, ruler. Anything would work just please consider my suggestion. Thank You.

Fun to play but.... The game was very fun (along with a few technical glitches), and the only problem that I really had was the drawing wand. The stick has obvious resemblance to a dildo, and I’m not sure if that was overlooked or ignored. I recommend for future games that things like this be more carefully considered, but otherwise the game was fun to play.

Pen is Junk, Should have Purchased the Original Game. We purchased this game to play with our kids, but nothing lined up, it drew random lines without touching the button, and we wound up so utterly frustrated, we just used the phone game to take points. I made sure to read all the instructions carefully, including making sure there was no light behind the person. For some reason, this just did not work for us and the app is basically got for electronic points, timers, and rounds. If that’s all you use it for, then it works with pen and paper. And that’s how we spent our Saturday night. Cursing the pen to oblivion and trusting our ability to draw on paper.

Pen troubles. This app doesn’t work very well we could not get the pen to work when used by small children. Other wise this is a good idea only if it worked a little better so it makes a game that doesn’t include more troubleshooting than playing.

So far, ❓😡🤨. So, I just got the Harry Potter version of the game, and I did everything the instructions said to do; put in the batteries, turned the wand on, waited until the wand was glowing, pressed the button, and downloaded the app. I was ready to play, then the pen started acting weird. I couldn’t get it to draw, and when I could, the pen made random lines, and sometimes it wouldn’t draw at all, and the drawing, when I drew to the left, on the screen, the drawing was moving to the right, so that was discombobulating. I will keep trying, because I just got it, but so far, I am feeling 🤨😡❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓about this game.

Sounds and music rarely work. Even when I keep toggling the sound option on and off, sound does not work. Sometimes the sound will randomly start to work, but the next time I open the app, it's broken again. Also, already tried uninstall and reinstall

This game is a disaster-and I love it.. I got this game for Christmas and I never got to playing it until now because I thought the 8+ on the box meant at least 8 people and not at least 8 years old to play. Anyway, we played the game and the amount of glitches is absolutely hilarious. It’s like the beta version of the game Gang Beasts. I love it because of the glitches. Also, the amount of drama that night made it kinda better. 4/5, would play again.

Meh. Fun but expensive.. My sister got this game for Christmas, and we were so excited to play, but it turned out we needed to buy a chromecast to set it up to the TV and another wand to play properly during the All-Play. Also, since we bought the Harry Potter version, I was expecting all of the cards to be Harry Potter related, not “Muggle” items and one little picture on the side of something Harry Potter. Kinda lacking creativity there. The wand also kept leaving little scribbles and lines in the air. With all of that said, it is a good concept, and a fun game, but I don’t know if it’s worth it because of all of the extra work and cost to set it up.

2 flaws. 1 of the 2 problems I have with this app is that I would like the pen to be able to do black along with the other colors. Also the instructions need to be more specific, my family still doesn’t understand how to play, it says to, “draw the clues”. Which words on the card are the, “clue words”.

I love it!. This game is awesome, I 100% recommend it! Just there is some things I would fix: sometimes when we were “drawing” it was green, but nothing showed up on the screen. We had to turn the pen on, and off. Also, in my opinion, I think it’s WAY to complicated to cast it on the TV. I think they should make it more easier, but again, this is a really fun game since you don’t know what your drawings look like, and it’s funny! I totally recommend it! I like how it comes with a smaller box inside to store it, it saves space and it’s original. If the developer is reading this, I hope this helped you improve, and thank you for reading this. 😊

Fun app for kids and families. Pictionary Air is amazing! This product is entertaining and puts an exciting spin on traditional Pictionary. The app runs smoothly on my iPad, although I’ve never tried it on my phone. This game can be enjoyed by all ages! It’s something kids can play with their friends or an activity that families can enjoy together. This is the Pictionary of the 21st century. I recommend it!

What is happening?. I love the game Air Pictionary! I think it is a great game to play!!! I played it at least a couple of months ago and then I forgot about it so I deleted the app, but then today I was going through my board games and I found the things that go with the game and I thought I would play it so I downloaded the app again and I thought “ok this is working so far,” and then when I started to play the game with my family and when were drawing it would let us draw, but then it would like draw a bunch of squiggles and lines all over the screen and everything and we kept on trying to fix it by erasing it, but NOTHING happened. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if there’s a glitch? I have not idea🤷🏼‍♀️ Could somebody please tell me? Thank you😊

Had High Hopes But Glitching Video Makes It Unusable. I was so excited to get this game, but we’ve never been able to play a single round. The camera/video glitches and buffers so much it makes it impossible to play the game. It’s more like still pictures every couple of seconds than a stream of video, and the camera doesn’t pick up any of the wand’s drawings. We’ve tried it on Wi-Fi, off Wi-Fi, on different devices, updating our IOS, and nothing works. It’s so frustrating. Wasted $30 on this since we’ve never been able to get the app to work well enough for a single round. So disappointed.

Fun. We thought the game was a lot of fun. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me is because I tried to save a video and it says it went to my camera roll, but it did not. So I’m not sure where my saved videos went off to.

Awesome game!. This is an awesome way for families to play a game with each other. It gives the ability to be creative, have fun, and get more time with your family. I personally love this game. You should check it out!

Pictionary air sooo good. It is so fun to play with my family and friends I enjoy this game very much same with fam and friends it slays so muchhh I recommend getting this app its not a waste of storage I am not lying it is a great app who ever made this game is so slay and is a legend you can pick what team you are on and what color your team is it’s so fun there are card that you pick a category and you will have a really good fun time

It was fun but. You should give us option to go back and see the play or pictures we drew. Option for making it brighter. Real fun though. Maybe a picture stabilizer…

Glitchy, doesn’t draw, and confusing. The pen is so glitchy, it doesn’t draw although the button is pressed. We turned off all lights, changed the positions and nothing helped. Also, it is very confusing the way you draw - you need to draw the picture mirrored so the players can see it properly. Instead they could have done the mirroring in the app. The whiteboard one is 100 times better - don’t spend your money on that.

Fun but device issues. This game has been for the family. We got the lighting and background issues figured out. Main issue is with device compatibility. This works on all of our iPhone, and my sons iPad. But when using on my iPad Pro, I don’t get a continue button on the initial movement warning screen, so it’s useless on iPad Pro.

Devise 2 should be the screen side. I believe we would love the game. The problem we have is in modern day America there’s still a company who jokes of high speed 10Mbps… I’m not paying them monthly for a sad joke. That said I have no valid internet options aside from mobile hotspots at this time. This creates my problem. Because you do not simply have a way to make the 1st device swap roles with the second device I am unable to have much fun with the family. As the first device draws, and the second guesses. The first device has to have the app, the second doesn’t. Are you following me? I’ve got 2 phones that can create a mobile hotspot, a tv, and a chrome cast. The chrome cast cannot connect with the phone that will be casting the mobile hotspot. This brings me down to 1 hotspot, 1 phone, 1 laptop (that can’t download or run your app on just a chrome browser so it also cannot be used in conjunction with the game), and a tv that also can’t download or run this app. So the final picture looks like this, I can play this game on 2 phones or not at all. This game would be best on a big tv screen or not at all as far as I’m concerned. My request is you please prioritize fixing this issue. Give me a weblink to kick off the game and link the app or create an option in the app to swap roles between device 1 or 2

Fun concept but big flaws. The game is fun and have the drawing show up on the tv screen for everyone to see is fun. But some flaws: The camera lighting can’t adjust so if the camera accidentally picks up a dark space in the room it will stay dark and make it hard to see the player. When trying to see what ur drawing on the TV, it’s mirrored, for example, if I draw a line to the left it will go right on the screen, so it’s really hard to draw. Selfie mode is much better because you can look at your phone screen and it will draw correctly and make it much easier to draw what you’re trying to, but you can’t play the game in selfie mode!! With more features and more mode options this app will be successful

Loved it!!!. The app worked perfectly for us. We had so much fun!!! Loved watching the videos afterward and seeing all the crazy things we drew. Had no problems at all. Used an iPad. Thank you, this was a great modern take on a classic game! :-)

Two bugs, then perfect. 1) Enable a landscape mode in app. When screen mirroring via Apple TV, majority of TV is wasted by portrait-only mode. 2) Enable auto save to Camera Roll. By having to manually select that, and wait for entire clip to finishing playing&saving within app before video is available within Apple's Camera Roll, time is wasted. A lot works well now, so four stars, then five when those enhancements are in place. Thank you.

Mediocre game, GUI. Pictionary is a fine game. This rendition of it isn’t as fun as the original. The app works okay on most devices, but for some reason the video was inverted when using (upside down) a newer iPhone. Restarting the app and phone didn’t resolve anything. The iPhone 2020 SE did fine. The interface could use some work. The ‘clear’ button is way to small. Having to pass the phone around takes some of the fun out of it. Someone has to interface with the phone at all times. All in all, it’s not something I care to play again.

Fun, but needs more work. We played this with friends about 8 months ago and loved it, so bought our own. Played it tonight and it’s not the same as before. It might be the app has been updated since we played with friends. But when we mirror it, the scores and points/pause buttons are right in the way. They take up a lot of the drawing room space, so we had to put ourselves in awkward positions so we could see what we drew. The scores need to be very small and put to the sides or in the corners. Is there a way to do this that I’m missing? And also it Other than that it was fun.

Really Fun! A TV makes it more fun.. You need to have a Tv to have the most fun. It’s great for road trips for just a phone and the pen. When you open the package just remember that it only should come with one pen! I usually do it a different way but still really fun!

Very fun!. This game is so fun especially for families. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a family game night! Just know that you need the game to play, I found it at target but you can get the game in lots of places have fun!

Lots of fun but missed opportunity for a real home run. We got this game for Christmas and was a bunch of fun! However, there is some room for improvement that would make this game unbelievably awesome! The only real complaint that we had was that the drawing area was way too small. The team scores take up way too much space along with the +1 point/pause/eraser controls at the bottom of the screen. When my kiddos were drawing, their lines were often covered up by the controls on the screen. My recommendation move the scores to the corners of the screen and open up the drawing area to make the most of the available screen. Would definitely give a five star rating with these changes.

New update doesn’t work, Mattel can’t fix it. I attempted to install, uninstall, and reset my phone. This app will not load beyond the initial “Mattel“ screen and the blue circle. Based upon other reviews, I called Mattel at the one 800 number they listed – after being on the phone for 32 minutes they told me there is nothing they can do and they have submitted this for an app review. This is very frustrating, as it is for a Christmas present that cannot work now.

Dumb game. How is this fun? You can’t see what you’re drawing , it doesn’t make it “hilarious” it makes it stupid and frustrating. The pen also just magically draws scribbles by itself on the side of your page while you’re trying to draw your picture. Which makes it hard to guess what you’re drawing. And when you advertise that you can “cast” using a casting/streaming device your lying. It’s called mirroring the screen and it’s also dumb. I would never have bought it if I knew it could truly cast . Waste of money and time. The original Pictionary is way more fun . I’d give it no stars if it would let me.

AWESOME. This game is so much fun. This is like for people who don’t know how to draw. And if a lot of people guess your drawing that means your good at drawing pictures. The people who said that every time they move the screen it shows scribble. it’s because you are not so posed to. It even says it in the instructions.

No landscape mode? Seriously?. Two crucial problems with this app. First, inexplicably it only supports portrait mode, even though it’s intended for mirroring to a larger screen and every single television panel IN THE WORLD is landscape mode. Second, on my iPhone XS max, the video is distorted and stretched vertically, giving everything a tall / skinny look that makes the portrait-only flaw even worse. Minor annoyance, the app erratically loses sight of the pen when the drawer moves it quickly. Lines are lost or chopped up into segments unless people are conscious about slowing down.

Doesn’t work on iPhone. I bought this game for my birthday to have fun with the family but you need 2 phones one to cast and one for the clues.. which is fine however the game will no load on my iPhones. Luckily my brother and sister in law have androids so we were able to play but why can’t I use it on my iPhone. The app won’t even open it just stays stuck on the yellow screen.

Not what it should be. Game looked super fun, but it really isn’t! For starters as soon as the wand comes into view of the screen scribble just appears, even if the wand isn’t moving. This is only made worse when you are trying to draw! It’s really no fun trying to guess someone’s drawing when there is just random scribble all over the screen and picture! Some of the clues are way to obscure in the Harry Potter version Such as peel, braid, soul What 8 year old (or anyone for that matter!) knows how to draw a soul. All this game did was upset everyone playing Not worth the $50! Maybe if the app was fixed it’d be worth playing again

Is the best game- I say also better than original game. This is literally the best game I’ve liked EVER played. But that random lines appear even when the pen light was red but I don’t blame the developers as getting the pen to like draw on the screen would be really hard to develop so I do not blame the developers at all. Also, the cards ( when you get the little box it self. ) , I don’t think that they are enough. Once me and my cousin did 10 rounds ( it was 2 player we did ) and we were already like half way through the cards. It was so annoying but then we made up cards ourselves but it didn’t work out so we need more cards

Super fun twist to a classic game. Just got the game this week and had a really fun time playing with a group of friends. A nice twist to the classic game and interacting with the pictures drew a lot of laughs.

Different emotions. Used to love this game and used to play with family and friends. Lost interest then came back to it after 2 months and downloaded the app. Now the app is not loading it a has been loading for 20 mins.

Absolute rubbish. Just bought the Harry Potter version and can’t access it on the app at all. Absolutely ridiculous. Now I can’t use the game without the app and the app doesn’t even work I have uninstalled and re installed multiple times and turned my phone off. Tried it on multiple devices so annoyed

Flaky. Random lines appear when no one is drawing. Lines don’t appear when someone is drawing. Hard to play with children

Don’t waste your time or money. The whole hardware / software setup is a complete mess. Laggy & inaccurate at best. It actually made the game virtually unplayable.

Could be better. Casting to Chrome cast is not a feature which would vastly improve the game. If you have an Apple t.v it would be perfect.

Fun but with a big caveat. You’d have to dig pretty deep to get this info from the game or app, but Chromecast doesn’t work on iOS devices. I bought 2 games - one for me and one as a gift and none of us can use it the way we wanted.

Grab a pencil and paper folks.... Extremely difficult to draw anything close to accurate with this air wand. Not a fan. Old school is the way to go with Pictionary.

It’s good but I see a bunch of people saying you can’t use chrome cast or something just find a streaming software on your phone or swipe down/up and click the two rectangles under the Bluetooth button then it will give you a option to cast i freaking have a Samsung tv and it works and even if you can’t cast JUST LOOK ON YOUR PHONE it’s a very good app and there are lots of options and ways to play! I find it fun

App doesn’t load past the warning screen…. Bought the game, looked fun, downloaded the app to play and can’t get the app to work and therefore the game is useless. Reviews show this occurring for the last few months, wish I had seen them before because it is clearly not fixed. Terribly obnoxious and annoying music on the warning screen. Do not recommend.

Waste of time. This game sucks. You need a “pen” peripheral in order to play the game. Why can’t you play it like the older version that used to be on the App Store? Waste of time and a shameful excuse of a game.

Credit card Fraud. Both my daughter and I downloaded this app - it requires u to put in ur credit card even though you do not need to make any purchases. And since that day, both of us have several hits a day on our credit cards. Non- stop fraudulent charges from European dating websites and customer care centres who will not advise what they provide customer care for!!!! Do NOT download unless you have hours to spend on the phone with ur bank!!!!

Lost custody. Lost the custody of my children after they told their mom that I give terrible Christmas gifts. It ruined my life.

No pairing. U don’t need any paring or work and it is so simple but on thing is u need a screwdriver for the wand to put the battery in but it coms with a battery so that’s why I recommend it because it’s not hard to setup and it’s a lot of fun

App doesn’t work for everyone. App downloaded. Works on iPhone 11 but not iPhone 6. App Store said it works on both devices but app could not load.

App kept glitching. After one play the app kept glitching and we would keep having to restart the game and our device. Not very fun

Circle of death-doesn’t work. What a surprise! It doesn’t work! I should have just set fire to my money instead of buy this, would have been more entertaining. Fix it,it should be functioning the day after Christmas.

App not working. Just downloaded this app and it’s stuck on the bright orange warning screen. I’ve had it open for several minutes, tapped the screen every which way to Sunday, closed and re-opened it, but this app is not working. So disappointing. Finally got the teenagers to agree on a family game and this happens.

Do you like frustration?. Then buy this game and aggravate the whole family. App constantly glitches and freezes during game play. We are indoors, white background, new battery in wand, no red or green in camera frame, tried multiple devices and app still hangs.

Camera in the app is so laggy. Its so laggy you cant play this game, I bought this so the family can have fun together but just brought stress in trying to figure out how to fix the app camera from lagging, have a lot of potential to be a fun family game, very dissappointed

App not working on the new os 17 1.1. Tried this for the game night but it wont work on the new os 17 1.1. Please update. Its just hanging. It left us yellow screen. We tried waiting but nothing happened. We tried on a different phone but still not working. Developers, please update the app. Its useless when you dont have the app. Thank you.

Doesn’t chromecast. Doesn’t work with chrome cast. Looks like fun but spent an hour fiddling with a secondary screen mirror app. So frustrating for a commercial product.

App not functional. I downloaded the app but the only screen I get is the warning screen, nothing happens after and there is no option to navigate. Is this a new bug?

Ok start. The game it self is fun but you can’t cast to a Chromecast natively. It only allows you to screen mirror to Apple TV. You also have to press the buttons on the screen, you can’t use the wand to go to the next screen.

Great concept but not good pen activity. Very good idea and concept. Pen, though, lags For drawing and doesn’t recognize motion accurately nor does it respond as you draw. Could have better pen or perhaps you could update software and / or have option to use your iPad / iPad with pen to play .

It’s so fun. I love playing this with my friends and family it’s my favorite board game ever great job who ever designed this I could go on and on about how i love this game

Just got the game for Christmas and App crashes. PictionaryAir wand seems to make the App crash after a few mins. I’m on an iPhone 13 with a newer Apple TV. I guess Mattel doesn’t test their App. Suggest that they make this NOT an App like Jackbox games for the Safari (or any browser) as Apple keeps changing their “rules” for Apps and they break easily.

Would not be compatible with Crome cast. Spent 1.5 hours trying to connect the chrome cast I have a ROKU TV and the chrome cast app was on my phone and the directions to set up the TV were non existent from the Pictionary game and the app the trouble shooting was to change the battery in the pen and don’t try to write with the pen outside, seriously??!!! Anyway waist of money and my families game night

App lags a lot. The few times using the app it lags to much making it very flustering to play. Video would freeze in mid draw. App needs improvement

Version 3.0.0 is buggy. First time to play. The app downloaded fine, but the camera was choppy and stuttered. So we (friend and I) never got all of the image being drawn. Me on my BRAND NEW iPhone 13, my friend on his iPhone 12 Pro. My spouse’s iPhone XS worked just fine. Maybe version 3.0.0 can’t handle the newer cameras? Dunno but we are unlikely to play again. Thanks, Mattel.

Could be improved. Good game and app but you should be able to switch the camera in play mode. It is very difficult for kids when they cannot see when they are drawing.

Good idea, absolutely needs to be able to be played in selfie mode. It’s impossible to play the game not in selfie mode....and yet you can’t actually play in selfie mode. If all the game features were available in selfie mode it would be great. How the heck can you interact with your drawing that you can’t see otherwise?

Cast from app. There should be a cast button so I can cast it to the tv. That would make the most sense since there isn’t i can’t cast it to the tv anywhere because I have a iPhone and that requires and Apple TV to cast. Please fix this it shows that you can play on tv on the box yet the app itself doesn’t give a way to do that which doesn't make sense .

Bad software. So the biggest issue that I have with this is the fact that the app makes you mirror your phone instead of casting from within the app. I would say that almost all smart TVs now have some form of chrome cast compatible software. So why would you not design your app to have the native functionality to cast, instead of relying on the devices ability to mirror.

Selfie view in game mode. I wish I can have the option to switch cameras in game mode. It’s hard to do the drawing without seeing it and when it’s cast on the TV, it’s like I am drawing backwards. It’s easier in selfie mode but I can’t keep score in that mode. Is there a way to add that?

Impossible to play. We attempted to play the Harry Potter version of Pictionary Air…and it’s not possible. The app installs and opened just fine, but it lags SO BADLY and keeps freezing while someone draws. It makes it impossible to draw any sort of picture. Attempted using an iPhone 13, iPhone 11, and iPad 8th gen. Same problem on all devices. Very disappointing!

Bugged?. I purchased this for my classroom thinking it would be a great “game day” activity, but the app does not open past the Mattel logo screen. I have tried everything from deleting/re-downloading the app to restarting my phone. If anyone knows how to solve this, please let me know. There’s no place to get support from Apple or Mattel with this.

Need In-App casting to be perfect. Love the game but since I can’t cast as I have an IPhone, but don’t have an Apple TV the players must use the apps on their respective phones...which means the drawings are all different based on their angle. Please update where I could use chromecast or other...

You can’t cast to TV unless you have Apple TV. The whole reason I bought this game was the fact that I saw the drawings on the TV behind them on the product’s box when I was in the store shopping. The fact that you have to have an Apple TV and not a ChromeCast (like the directions say it can) is very disappointing. Please fix and make possible for ChromeCast or FireStick.

So much fun. I say you should get this App. Because it’s amazing and fun you would love it you just get the thing at target or Walmart or any other store

Like magic!. Awesome seeing my drawing appear on the app like magic! Friends love the mix of charades style play and Pictionary. Casting ability is dictated by compatibility requirements (Apple TV for iPhone) but that’s the case for casting on any iPhone anyway.

Love this game. Fun game. just don’t stand in front of the tv or else you drawing’s won’t draw properly because of the double green light in the background

I love it but something is wrong. It’s a good game I got it from Christmas 2019 but when I was playing with my grandma and mom something was wrong when I hold the camera it writes by itself when me,grandma and mom were writing in the air it’s kept writing by itself I didn’t know what’s going on it’s a good game but still u need to fix this

Crappy. I have having issues with this app. Every time I try to download the recording the app crashes and starts us all over. The pen is also drawing by itself when we are not pressing the button… probably going to return this game because I don’t know who to contact for this!! My daughter is super disappointed

Cannot get app to work. I got this game as a Christmas gift and we downloaded the app and several devices and cannot get any of them to work. It begins to load and goes to the yellow screen with the spinning blue circle and it looks like it is loading, but nothing ever happens. I hope someone from Mattel can help. Thanks.

Team numbers. I love this game and app but I am trying to play with a big group and split them into more than two groups. If there could be another team or two added that would be great.

Lack of support. So, I’m not the most technical person, just to clarify that. I downloaded the app on my phone, but when I try to link it up with my TV, it just says have something compatible. I have that covered and that’s where the instructions end. Their support is not helpful AT ALL.

Game Glitching. I’ve had this game for some time and I've been having problems getting the app to load, it currently only loads to 44% then freezes. I love this game, please provide a new update to fix the glitches.

Record doesn’t work?. The instructions aren’t very clear. I turned recording on and we played. But the recording did not save.... what could we be doing wrong :(

It’s okay. It’s a good game but it take way to long to download. I have fast internet but it took a full hour to download and we couldn’t play it. That’s really all you need to fix is the download time. Way to long

Please be available for fire stick. The game is awesome works like magic and reacts perfect with the app on my iPhone just Wish you guys could be available for the firststick !!!!

Landscape mode!!. Having a lot of fun with this, but I will echo others comments. Please do not respond with the generic thanks for the honest feedback. No one cares just get the developers to create a landscape mode for the game!!!

Great game but has a huge issue. When recording is saved to the device, the video plays 2x faster. It sounds like chipmunks are speaking. Can you fix that?

Terrible way to play Pictionary. Although cheaper than using a paper pad on an stand. It isn’t nearly as good as using a dry erase whiteboard. The pictures are totally unrecognizable. It’s hard enough for mediocre artists to draw on paper and it becomes a total disaster using this light pen. You can’t use multiple colors either like you can with dry erase markers.

Can’t find it. I recently bought the game and downloaded the app… and it doesn’t have Harry Potter on it. There’s only one game option. I have the latest IOS so that can’t be the issue. I bought the HP version so that’s what I want to work

Lags too much. This would be super fun if it didn’t freeze so much and we have good Internet serviceI’m connected to the Wi-Fi and it kept freezing up on us while trying to play

Needs improvement. It seems fun. But the air pen is unstable and we have no place to see our own drawing as picturist. It’s unstable so the markings are always off. Terrible for non-artists. Doesn’t help with those that can’t draw well.

Kind of okay. I wish it could be selfie mode when you play with others because I can’t see what I’m drawing or how to do it. Also I can’t connect it to my tv using chrome cast and that would make it a lot more fun if it was more compatible with other TVs other than an apple one.

What happened to all of my recordings????. I love this game, but after the new update all of my recordings are gone. All of the good memories I made and would rewatch with friends and family are just disappeared. If there’s any way to get them back please let me know.

Lags. We just bought this from Target for our family and it lags way to much. We tried it just from the phones and also mirroring from the tv and neither worked well enough to get through even one picture. This needs fixed!

Do not buy / Refund. This is a really cool concept but the video lags like crazy during the game. It would be manageable if it didn’t happen the majority of the time during the rounds but that is not the case. I will quickly be getting my money back on this purchase.

This game doesn’t work. This game dose not work every time ITry to draw it keeps making random lines where I haven’t even drawn and it doesn’t pick up what the person draws and it’s very touchy I have the Pictionary kids versus grown-up I don’t know if that makes a difference or not but again it keeps making random lines everywhere huge scribbles like sometimes the whole screen even turns blue thank you
