Having trouble. Hello developers I purchased this app a couple of weeks ago, I used it once and I liked it but for personal reasons I was not able to continue to use it for like a week but as soon as I was able to I got to using and working out with the app. I was using the app without any issue until after a week into using it (fully) that I starting having issues. At first it was that the workouts would take 10-15 minutes to download, and then I tried to get on yesterday to do my workout and I couldn’t get in. At first I thought that it was a loading issue so I let it load for 30 minutes and it was not loading at all, like I didn’t even see the Home Screen that has the workouts. So I said whatever I will just try tomorrow. Today is tomorrow and now the app won’t even open, so I deleted the app waited a bit then got it again, I tried opening it but it still wouldn’t open… so yeah I need help with this because I spent 105-ish dollars on this…so any help would be appreciated.

What happened??. I don’t know when but I had left for about a week or so for vacation and the app was updated. The workouts are completely different from before and the videos have been sped up. Before it would show an exaggerated slowed down version of the workout so I could truly focus on form. Also all the mew workouts I’m being given are really hard on the knees, and because of the speed of the videos I have no idea if im even performing correctly. Along with the sped up videos, all the new workouts no longer have descriptions. The old workouts have detailed instructions underneath including breathing techniques and other very helpful tips. It seems like they’ve added way to many videos without giving them the full attention necessary. About one or two updates ago the app was perfect, now I’m just going to cancel and find workouts I’m not required to pay for.

Excellent customer support. I’ve been using this app for 5 months regularly. I’m 56yrs old and I’ve I’m definitely seeing results. I love not having to worry what workout I need to do each day because they have designed a program for me. A 7 minute Morning Routine to warm up followed by a workout tailored to different parts of my body. I always leave the gym tired and feeling good. They build in some rest days or easy days so I don’t burn myself out. I recently had an issue where my app wasn’t working. I sent an email and an actual person wrote me back within minutes! (Thanks Alex!). I’m sure the issue will be fixed quickly because they take their business seriously. I will gladly renew my 1yr subscription when it is time to renew.

Room for improvement. General idea of a great app. Execution seems compromised. Paid for a year membership, observations after 4 months - 1. Of the “screen shots” shown in the App Store, only the last 2 seem to actually exist 2. I set up a plan when I started. I see no way to change the plan, change the days, or refresh, or focus on different body parts other than to make a one-off custom workout (the beauty of the app is that it gives new workouts on your scheduled frequency, picked for you. Having to over-ride this every workout is far from useful 3. I don’t want leg workouts. The app appears to require that you do leg workouts interspersed with upper body (even though I did not select legs when creating the plan). When I override the leg workout with a custom workout, it saves the leg workout for the next session. Oddly, none of these problems existed in the version that I used during my 3 month trial before I bought the year.

Not Worth The Money. I never would have downloaded this app if I didn’t need home workout ideas during quarantine. I’m a mid 20s male who was at the gym 4-5 times a week and I stated that when the app ask you a questionnaire in the beginning. Rather than give me a workout that made me sweat and tired daily, like at the gym, it’s mostly stretching and abs. The stretches are things you learned in middle school gym and the abs are from any ab workouts you’ll find on the internet. This app switches from timing you on certain workouts, to giving you a number of reps to do (Example 20 squats vs 30 seconds for squats). The workouts that are timed only give you time to do so many reps to the point that you have to run through an extra cycle or two by yourself after the workout is done to even feel like you got a workout at all. The only reason I didn’t give this a one star review is because as terrible as 90% of the workouts were, I did get a handful of new home workouts out of it that I didn’t think of originally. Save yourself the money and do different variations of pushups, squats/leg workouts, and look up an ab workout, along with running/walking. You can find these anywhere on the internet. The best part about fitness apps is there’s a lot more out there to choose from. I would suggest looking up target muscle groups that you want to build, and build your own workout instead of spending money on an app.

Decent so far but doesn’t track all workouts. I just started using this app. Paid for a month subscription just to try it out. I already work out every day but wanted something to help guide me and mix up my routine. They put together your fitness plan based on a series of questions. This is great. Like the ones I’ve done so far. However, it is really annoying that it only tracks and records your workout history if you do the exact workout in their plan in the exact day they schedule it. For instance. I did the Monday workout as scheduled and it was recorded. Tuesday they had a rest day but I workout every day so I skipped ahead to Wednesday and did that workout. It didn’t record it in my workout history because it wasn’t done when they scheduled it. Today is Wednesday and I obviously didn’t want to do the same thing twice in a row so I chose one of the workouts listed in the app. Again, because it want their scheduled and planned routine, it doesn’t record it. Three days of pretty solid workouts and the progress only recorded one workout in Monday. Not sure why they would create a fitness app intended to guide you and record progress, not actually record your progress. Only 3 stars because of this. But routines are decent.

Mostly great. I use this daily for the 7 minute morning routine. I hate working out, and it is the only thing that has kept me motivated. With a few adjustments it would make it easier to use and I would give it a five star rating. Here are my suggestions. -The background is always black. Have the background be a different color during active periods than rest periods. Then you can more easily tell when you’re supposed to be moving and when you’re supposed to be not moving. -The end of rest and end of active noises are the same. It confuses me as to whether I am supposed to stop moving or stop resting. Make them be different noises. -My workout is too leg heavy. How do I adjust this? I can’t find a way. -When I choose an alternative exercise, when I am setting up my routine, it should tell me if that alternative is easier or harder than the suggested exercise. -I would like to be able to reject some exercises outright because they are not the parts of the body I am working on. -I have some equipment at home. If I could tell the app what I have, then maybe it could work some of that equipment into my home routine. -My morning routine is always 7 minutes long. Sometimes I would like to increase or decrease this number depending on my energy levels. Could there be an “extend time” option? Other than that, it’s easy to use and I love it. Thanks for helping me get fit.

Loving this app!. I’m a 42 year old male who has had some decking health over the past few years. It has been a struggle to get the motivation to start working my way back to a better, stronger me. Especially since I am intimidated by the gym atmosphere and feel lost when it comes to developing a plan that I know will produce results. I came across this app and was a little skeptical on how well it would work, but I have to say I am impressed! I am 3 weeks in now and have already noticed a HUGE difference in my strength and endurance! I have even started to notice decent muscle growth and toning, all from following the plan that was developed by the app! No equipment, just my own body weight at home and now I am regaining my confidence that will in turn help me continue my journey of regaining my health and becoming a better/stronger me. Thanks Muscle Builder!!

Very shady. A lot of people talked about free trial here so I thought it comes with a free trial. I downloaded it and purchased it. But then I realized that there isn’t one. I decided to give it try. I’m not a fitness expert but I personally don’t like it. The workouts look really basic and especially there are not many gym workouts. When I went to the developer website, there is no info on the people who developed the app. Are the people who created the app professional trainers? They’re very sneaky with the billing. So later I realized that if you download the app through the link from Google, you do get a 7-day free trial. But the subscription price doubles compared to direct download from the App Store. That’s so shady. I wonder how many are paying that much money. I looked more deeply into the reviews and realized that a lot of people had the same issue as me, and the customer service here imply Apple controls the refund. But if you go to Apple refund page, it’ll tell you it’s not within policy to refund. The policy is set by the App developers. Overall, I really have some suspicions over why this app is one of the top ranked apps but so many much better similar apps (Nike training club, Fitbod, Centre, etc.) are ranked far below.

Great value and great app. If you’re a beginner, great; if you’re in excellent condition, this app will challenge you. Simple morning starts lasts no more than 10 minutes. Home programs and gym programs… it will challenge you if you allow it to. The value… they must’ve lowered the price from the apps inception… I thought about trying it out for 3 months at $30/month but the annual subscription is $99. No brained right? BUT, lifetime is $150… that’s better than a gym membership. I’m using weight loss and muscle builder. I love the description of every diet offered from vegan, low carb to keto! It caters what meals you should eat and you can add snacks as well. The app lists a variety of meals you can make on your own. My issue with the keto diet (I’m trying to lose 30 pounds in 4 months) the daily caloric count was is than 1000 kcals. That tells me I’m losing 30 pounds in a month! I want a different meal plan according to my weight, size and age. I’m supposed to have a caloric daily intake of 3200. I usually get to 1800 at the most. Other than that, it’s a great value and a great app IF you allow it to challenge you. I’m just glad I have this app for life!

Pretty awesome!. Took a chance on this app and glad I did. I have used other AI fitness apps and I have to say this one is my favorite. I love how holistic this app is, giving preworkout stretches, detailed exercises that you can customize the time and location (gym vs home) and even post exercise stretches and morning routines and challenges, not to mention meal Plans too! (Tho they are not the best in terms of a full meal plan). My only issue with this app is the timer which doesn’t totally work if you leave the app between exercises. I also dislike how when you customize a workout that it makes for you, it resets the muscle groups and so you have to think about the muscles you want to train (I would rather this is automatic so I don’t have to think about the muscles I’ve already worked out since the app already has this data). These are pretty minor issues though when you consider the suite of offerings. I really like this app and it’s taken a lot of the burden of planning workouts, even the at-home exercises are unique and thorough! I also love how you can swap out exercises if you don’t have equipment. All-in-all, It’s become one of my favorite AI fitness apps that I’ve tried!

Missing key function and customer suppot. Muscle Booster’s customer support team is non-existent. I cannot get the help I need for the technical issues I am experiencing. My uncle, who is a busy CEO also purchased a subscription to this app is also experiencing issues and no one is there to assist him. What is going on with you guys? On Monday I did a leg and shoulder workout from this app. It was excellent. Now it's Wednesday and presumably time to do a Chest workout. I load the app to checkout what I need to do and it says Legs & Shoulders. My Monday workout for some reason was not logged and there is no option for me to manually log my workout or switch todays workout to Chest. Instead I have to pretend it's Friday, which throws my whole flow off. The Contact Us under settings is just there for looks and give you no actual option to contact someone for help. Also, some type of log to insert the weight I worked with would be nice. *edit* it is now Friday and it has not registered I have worked out at all this week!

Not perfect, but still deserves 5 stars based on the results I’m getting. I pay $60 per year subscription. Working out everyday. Biggest advantage for me is getting a different workout each day based on the equipment I have selected (essentially, the few things I have in my garage gym). Short morning workout every single day (~8 minutes); longer, and harder, workout three times a week (~50 minutes). I’m on a 27-week streak, some shortcomings aside, I love it. I stream it (via Airplay) to a 32-inch TV in my gym, which is great for noticing the details in the video demo for each exercise, I wished it had the option to go horizontal, therefore using the TV screen’s space better. Not perfect, but still really good and for a reasonable price. Note that the app also comes with a meal plan, which I only use randomly to get recipe ideas. One thing to keep in mind is that weight loss is heavily dependent on a healthy diet, this app is good, but it won’t get you a free pass to eat whatever you want (no workout plan will).

My Review. I have been actively working out on my own for 20 years or so and needed something to shake things up a bit. I also got pretty tired of coming up with workouts myself and thought trying something new might help a bit. The workouts are pretty decent and the variety didn’t disappoint. I have a home gym and do not always have all of the equipment that a commercial gym would have but the app allows you to swap exercises as needed. The one thing I would change is the countdown comments (“there’s a little time left”). After a month or two using the app, hearing that gets old. I have also noticed that sometimes there are bugs that result in two countdown voices happening at different times making it a bit confusing. Overall I think the app does its job maintaining my lean figure, I wouldn’t go as far to say that it has “bulked me up” any but with my high metabolism that is no surprise. My recommendation is that the app is certainly worth a go for someone trying to shake it up a bit!

Definitely recommend. I love this app, Downloaded a few months ago. The Initial set up of the app to set and achieve your Goals is my favorite part about the app. “Who do you want to see yourself as” The work outs are great, morning routines and the fitness tracking with my Apple Watch is a plus. It’s a well rounded app and definitely gets the heart pumping and sweat dripping if you decide to take it seriously. There’s various work outs to chose from, even accommodates If you don’t have access to a gym or gym equipment. My only complaint and this is what held me back from a five star review?(since a new update) Bring back the stretches menu!! Other then that I’d recommend this to anybody, heavy set or skinny. Busy or not. Download this app if you’re looking for an app that is legit and worth the money this is the one hands down.

Long-Time User, Still Impressed!. I've been using this workout app for years, and it's honestly been a fantastic journey. The app's design is user-friendly, and the variety of workouts keeps my routine fresh and exciting. What stands out the most is the value for money – the price is incredibly reasonable for the features offered. From beginner to advanced levels, it has something for everyone. The community aspect is a bonus, keeping me motivated and connected. I'd easily rate it 5 stars for its consistent quality and the positive impact it's had on my fitness journey. Frustrating Technical Issues Lately I've been a loyal user of this workout app for a long time, and while it's been great overall, I've encountered some persistent issues recently. The most troubling is the loss of video functionality, which is crucial for following along with workouts. The sound occasionally malfunctions, and now it seems the audio feature has completely disappeared. These technical glitches significantly hinder my workout experience. Moreover, the app feels outdated and in dire need of an update to keep up with current standards. It's disappointing to see a previously 5-star app decline like this.

Just What I Needed. I am 68 years old and a very active person. I love kayaking, hiking, and cycling. So I need to be in shape. I had setbacks because of multiple surgeries from accidents. So I need to be very careful on how I do my workouts. I was interested in the chair exercises and how to do them. This app, which I am still learning to get the best of it, has helped me greatly in doing my exercises correctly. I love that once you have put all your personal physical information, it creates a great program that’s best for me without risking injury. I am still learning to synchronize the time for my workouts. I don’t exercise every morning like I used to when I was younger. In the near future I will give another review on my progress. But for now? It is an amazing app.

Transforming your body!. I’m just now starting the program. I just did my first morning session. It’s too early to say how I really feel about it. But I do like what I see so far of what the program offers. I am a pro athlete, a professional fighter. I’m so used to cutting weight and being ripped up for my next fight. Now I would like to focus on building up more muscles for my chest and legs. I fight as a junior middleweight and always have to cut weight for my fight, and most of the weight is water weight. So when I saw this program, I said to myself wow! they have everything you need to transform your physique to what you wanted to look like. I am also a trainer and have my own boxing gym, I say this app is good for everyone who wants to look good and get rid of the same fat that they carried around for so long. If you don’t know what to eat, they have a meal plan set up for you and his program. They tell you what the ingredients are. They also tell you how to go about cooking it. I recommend this app to any trainer and anyone who wants to transform their physique and look good about it!

Starts Strong. I love this app. It provides a great workout routine that supplements my own. I felt immediate results and have seen them is a little as five days. I hope to continue on with the app, but that’s where I’ve run into trouble. A glitch in one of the routines caused it to repeatedly crash on that routine. I decided to skip to the next day’s return until it could be resolved. The routine worked but wouldn’t log as compete. I tried various fixes like powering off the phone, etc. Then I tried to log back on … and the app would not let me log in, reset my password, or restore purchase (I tried them all). I was effectively locked out and my support inquiries all bounced back in email, indicating no one was likely to help. So, I decided to subscribe again until everything was resolved - but the app said my Apple email was invalid, after charging the subscription. I had to use a different email in order to make it work… so who knows what will happen in 90 days. I was ready to refer this one to friends and my trainer, but now I’m holding off until these basic functions - email resets, restores, etc. are cleaned up. This should be a five star workout support program, but I have to give it a free until basic support and customer service are part of the package.

Really good app. I’ve been using this app for the last 4 months and it’s been exceptionally helpful. I love the fact that it changes up workouts just enough to keep them interesting, but not too much to slow you down. I’m not a fan of a loud instructor attempting to cheer me on while I workout, so this is perfect. I tried Apple Fitness+ before this, and it just annoyed me. Some may like that “motivation”, but I don’t. I use the app to do all body-weight workouts, and it’s really good for that. One of the last updates really improved the Apple Watch integration, so that’s been helpful. The app has received several updates since I started using it. Nice to see it constantly improving. The custom workout generator is great too. One suggestion would be to have an option to choose how long rest times are (short, normal, long). Sometimes I find the rest periods a bit long and would prefer to speed them up. I can always skip ahead, so not a huge deal. I’ve had a couple of issues with the app crashing mid-workout. That’s was a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world. Also, occasionally my watch won’t sync up with my workout until the apps have been force closed on my watch and phone. Once again, a minor issue that doesn’t happen much.

Uncanny results that boosted my life.. I don’t even know where to begin. I started off like many of you, a total loser. A lonely shrimp of us man weighing only 70 lbs. Someone who poured his milk before his cereal and ate Peanut butter sandwiches without jelly. That was, until, I discovered the Muscle Booster app. Within a short span I was able to put on weight, increase my PRs, get on a steady nutrition plan, learn to overcome my fear of talking to women and I even gained the courage to dabble in the stock market and grow my financial portfolio. I am now a married man with a smokin’ hot 6 for a wife and I have two 5 year old D1 bound sons (Arnold and Sergio) who bench press our Great Dane for morning warm ups. I expect them both to solve world hunger by 2042. Needless to say this app is quite the turn-around point my life needed. I swear by them. Live by them. Die by them. These workouts blow anchor arms outta the watta. If you want gains on an unparalleled level, give muscle booster a shot. “Shreddalations 3:12: Father forgive me for the gains I’m about to receive.”

Beware!!!!! Workout not customizable.. You can only customize a workout partially ONLY!!!! When you select a type of workout you want to do (for example chest) it will default the number of total time (for example 40 minutes). Then you will have a pre-program routine of various work outs. You can select an alternate workout for that exercise but it LIMITS YOU TO A SMALL SELECTION and most of the time the exercises do not pertain to the exercise you are wanting to exercise even though you selected at the beginning which exercise you chose to work on (for example chest). So for the mot part my workout I just my timer running and the exercise on the screen is a bunch of exercises that im not performing. Waste of time and 85% the program crashes or freezes on the app WHILE you are doing your exercise routine. I emailed there customer service yesterday before I will renew my subscription and they said to just cancel my subscription if I’m not happy. SO DISSATISFIED.

Would be 5 stars if the scheduling system actually work. I am subscribed to the premium account and the software should be adapting to my workouts and the parameters I set. However anytime I open the app it starts on Dec 5th, the day I bought the subscription. It was working for about a week and now the scheduling system isn’t even close. I have my off day set as Sunday because my gym is closed on Sunday’s. However the app doesn’t register I’ve completed workouts in the history except for 5 total workouts from the first week, and it has my rest day as Sunday with workouts on Sunday. I have tried several alterations to the schedule to try and fix it and nothing works even when I change the rest days. I love the workouts the app provides but something in the infrastructure of the apps development needs fixed.

This app has been made to prey on the insecurities of males. Asked me for my body type and my desired look which is standard in a muscle building app but doesn’t have any real way of helping a person determine their actual body type. If I were to have more weight on me then I can’t determine how much muscle is underneath or even if I’m “skinny, muscled, or heavily muscled”. It doesn’t allow for me to type in my height, weight or anything that are needed to help determine which workouts will better sure my interests. The “get started” screen is a picture or a heavily cut man more standing like a egotistical model rather than a man modeling his physique. After picking my body type the app went to the target my weaknesses rather than my strengths. They call them “problem areas” :wimpy pecs, skinny arms, small legs. Connotations like that are unnecessary and not user friendly for someone trying to improve themselves. This app has been made to prey on the insecurities of males and push the typical negative agenda of what the mainstream media calls the “perfect male physique”. I don’t think there is any changes to be made to make this app better. I’d say throw it out and start from scratch. There are so many other apps out there. This one is a dud not needed in the lives of people trying to become more. Thank you for giving me the ability to rate this app.

Super glitchy and confusing but great at the same time?. Wish I could give this the 5 stars it deserves and at the same time I wish I could get my money back 😮‍💨. So it’s great, I’ve done yoga for years now and I’m starting to want more strength building which led me to this app it’s an awesome mix of build n stretch n eat n walk with a ridiculous number of choices! Custom fitted to pretty much any life style if you don’t get back in shape this app won’t share any blame, it’s YOU! There’s just a few downsides that I hope 🤞 can be fixed soon so I can give 5 stars and start spreading my praises! Firstly in my last 26 minute work out my phone used 62% battery 🪫 it’s was 🔥 hot I’m very nerdy when it comes to changing my settings for the longest battery life so I was shocked imagine if I was using all the gps’s n Bluetooths n health app settings 😱 Secondly that 26 minute routine was supposed to be a 22 minute routine but the glitch of repeating exercises made it so instead of resting I’d have to grab my phone to hit “next” button. Thirdly glitches at the beginning and end on countdowns were screwing with everything. It’s strange to have a exercise be 10 reps then the follow along avatar preforming the movement does way more than 10 maybe 20-30 plus Repeating for infinity! Please fix these

Too buggy and deceptive to be worth the subscription. I paid for and used the app for a few months. Several questions in the onboarding survey have no effect on the workout plan and are placebos to try to drive subscription sales, which are optimized for pricing rather than value. If you purchase, the app will immediately go for the upsell. During a workout, there is a voice that repeats generic motivational phrases and can’t be disabled. There is also a countdown beep that gets out of sync if you skip a move. Integration with the Apple Watch is rudimentary and not thought through. The app doesn’t stay connected to the watch and fires seemingly random haptics when it is connected. To skip a move, you have to swipe to another screen first. Several phrases are awkwardly translated to English, like a question after a workout asking “How hard it was?” The app asks for feedback, but if you touch anywhere or switch apps, the feedback field will immediately dismiss forever. A friend of mine has felt like he’s seen good results from following the workout plan in this app, but my experience was more disappointing as the subscription model felt more expensive than useful.

Such potential. I would give five star review because it has potential but extra frustrated this morning. I limited my time using this app for the past month hoping the glitches would be fixed or at least minimized. Wow, wrong direction guys!! This app has potential to be a top product that is why I continue to come back to it but is more unstable than ever. I start a work out only to be stopped because it freezes or doesn’t show the exercise even though the counter continues to run or gives me a countdown of 59 min. And I can’t skip because then the whole thing freezes again. I’ve restarted this work out five times now. Not really looking for a workout app that’s going to take the wind out of my sails. I wish I had pics but when the app freezes it freezes my whole phone which I have no other problem with any other app I use and I have a lot of them I use daily. Please fix.I will update this post and add stars as things are resolved.

Needs improvements. First I’ll start with saying how and why is this app in the top 15 in the app store. No idea at all. Second thing ,the app on my first day started syncing my workouts with my health app, which is helpful, then for no reason Stopped doing that. Went and did force quit, reset the app. Reset everything, nothing changed. I have to manually open my workout app and start a workout and then go to the app and start my workouts. Second thing, the workouts need a lot of improvement especially the ones that are done at home, none of the workouts that are done home have dumbbells options, it’s strictly body weight oriented, if you want a dumbbell workout, then you need to go and start a separate one. Which let me tell you the list is so short. Noticed only one bicep workout. The list is very short. Third thing, same way that the app asks you if you want to workout in the gym or home. You can add a third option which is home with dumbbells. Believe me people will love it. I’m not going to talk on behalf of others, but most people have dumbbells or some sort if weights in their house they can use while working out at house. The app has potential to be something great. But at these options, 2 stars is enough for me. 1 star for the black theme, 1 star for the effort. Don’t think I’ll renew my subscription.

A few frustrating gotchas. I never buy apps but I wanted to get a workout routine that was tuned to me and would progress as I do. I loved this app in the beginning, my muscles are more sore than any other workout I have done in the past. I’m a week in and my triceps are at their max so I figured my routine would move into my legs or abs, but it kept having me repeat the chest and arm strengthening. I found out today that the app is not tracking my progress, it doesn’t think I have been working out all week. For those that this is happening to, the developer requires you to hit the share button at the end of the workout to track that you completed it. This is annoying, I didn’t plan on posting to Facebook my workouts, the developer is trying to get free advertisement for a paid app. They need to add an option at the end to share or mark the workout complete. The good news is you can click on the share button, but cancel the actual Facebook post. This will mark your routine done but keep it private. I’m going to try that until my subscription is up and look for another app. Also, like others mention, the “contact us” button doesn’t work. I’m very suspicious of the integrity of this app. The workout have been great though so I hope they make some improvements. This app is too pricey for it not to “requires” free advertisement to Facebook. No one wants to see me post everyday I performed a daily routine for 7 minutes, how annoying I would be 😀

Some fixes needed. I love the workouts and the way they work, I just want it to work with my Apple Health app and sync my steps, weight, height, blood pressure etc and everything else a regular workout app uses to help personalize the experience for each user. If you can do this, I won’t need to hit start walking, and then walk 30 minutes and hit stop once I’m done in order to record that. I walk more than half an hour a day everyday, I just don’t log it. It counts in my phones pedometer via the Health app but I want that reflected on the app too with my workouts and I want it to affect the way my workouts will be when I start to do it. I would gladly pay more just to make it easier for me and make it easier on everyone else who are having very similar issues as well. It’s a feature that’s expected that isn’t there and it’s kinda disappointing that we pay for an app that has so much potential but lacks in the basics. If these features get added, this app would go from a 2-star to a 5-star top 5 fitness apps in the App Store. Just the basics are lacking.

Changes. I’ve had the app for a few days and it is pretty nice the workouts are great I like the schedule and routines it puts you in but my problem with this app is that the meal plan is not very good I am looking to bulk up and there are several food options but none of them involve any meat meals or really any weight gain plans also there is no true way of tracking your progress like I meal tracker you can put in and in my case a tracker to see the amount of weight I gained and in what time frame and what I was eating during that period where I was gaining weight there is really no progress tracking at all in the app I can’t even see the ideal weight goal I set in the beginning Changes - I would say a better meal plan that includes meat diets like chicken beef and other forms of meat ways to track progress so it can be seen And track the meals that were consumed during high progress moments in goals

Great routines, but app needs work. I’m a trucker who is out for a week at a time and home on weekends. The workout routines are simple and can be done anywhere, which is the biggest plus for me. My only drawbacks come with the app itself. Since I’m only home on weekends, I need to be able to plan my meals ahead of time, whether I’m in a fitness program or not. This app does not allow me to see the meal plans for the week ahead. Also, Hurricane Ian threw a huge wrench into more than just my workout schedule. I would love to just start over from scratch, but the app won’t allow mw to do that either. Any attempts to contact the company through the ‘Contact Us’ tab has resulted in emails being sent back to me. This review is the only other attempt I know at how to get their attention. Again, great workouts but app and customer service needs work.

Ok contents but buggy app. I really enjoyed using this app for the first week. The gym/home combo really adds to the daily workout time. However, I have noticed multiple bugs / room for improvements: 1. Workout cannot be switched in the middle of a session. All changes have to be planned ahead. This is not a user friendly feature, as I might want to switch workouts in the middle of a session given how busy different stations are. 2. Workouts can get stalled even though they are completed, which means you could always have the same session showing up in your to-do list as the next one. 3. Countdown voices can be buggy and overlap with each other. I can hear overlapping countdown beeps in the same workout. This is a very distracting bug. Given the reasons above, I have decided to go back to the market and find some alternatives to this app. The ideas and actual workouts of this app are good, but the execution is faulty.

This is not worth of your money if you are onto Fitness already. I am working out even before I purchase this app. I wanted to customize my schedule (like have excercises ready for my Chest, Shoulder, Tricep day or have them ready for back, biceps day) and to learn new exercise. I realized that they are making a plan of exercise. E.g. They have 6 days plan in my app where it shows me to do some Tabada exercise one day and Chest on another day and they gave me which exercise I should do for every muscle. I want to customize exercise which I want to focus on, not what they want me to do. They have nice session of exercises for muscles( like Arms, back, Legs etc), I think these exercise distribution should be (Biceps, Triceps, Forearms etc instead of Arms) and we should have option to search particular exercise e.g. If I search Squats, I should get all different type of Squats, this application doesn’t have this functionality yet. This feedback I gave on my experience of version 2.4.1. I hope they change the application.

Muscle Booster first impressions…. After the first workout, I find that the App provides clear prompts and good visuals to show how exercises are to be performed. I notice that it does not seem to read or write to Apple’s “Health” App (even thought the read/write permissions have been approved on both the Health and the Muscle Booster Apps). The Apple Watch “Muscle Booster” App only provides the basics such as pause, and stop… It would be nice if it would allow the ability to start the exercise routine and also to advance to the next exercise from the watch App. Looking forward to to using this App on a daily Muscle Booster after 35 days… Thank you for the recent App improvements. The integration with the iPhone and Apple Watch is much improved. IMO, this App now rates 5 stars. The exercise selection is great and I’m seeing positive results. Thank you!

Lousy and Disappointing. Hey, maybe the app is great. I wouldn’t know. It’s been over a week, and I can’t log in. That’s on me though for buying into the Instagram ad that was in my feed. Went through the process of answering the prompts, took advantage and paid for the promo, and downloaded the app. I tried to log in, and my account info I entered through Instagram didn’t register. They app couldn’t even find my email. Went through the whole registration process again after filing a concern, and was then prompted to answer ALL the questions I already answered on Instagram and told to choose “restore purchase.” Nothing. Have tried every option. Every communication to I filed since the first was an automated response saying “it looks like you’re requesting a refund.” Out of all 5-6, I responded I only wanted to sign in. I’ve never gotten a legit response from a person since the first complaint. Terrible customer service. Save your money. I now have to go to my bank and refute the charge. What a waste of what I hoped would be an app of inspiration and motivation.

Best Physical coach I ever had. For starters, I purchased this app back in the starter phase to see what it adapted to now is unbelievable and I don’t know what the price is now for lifetime membership but when I paid for totally worth it. I have to say I found anything wrong. It would be a grocery list for the meal prep so we can actually shop the week before and actually try to make the food on a daily basis or meal prep. To be honest, I have not used the app faithfully as I should. I recently had spinal surgery, so I’m still in recovery mode. I just started the new challenge today injured back challenge. I was pretty decent and I’m slowly trying to get back into the workout again thank you for this app and everything that you provide.

It works, but a few improvements. Very good app. I have been trying it for six weeks now, and I can see some transitions already. A few recommended features I suggest are: - Add muscle group Injury avoidance setting: For example, let's say someone has shoulder pain from last week's workout, they can go to the setting and add the injury, and the app would personalize it, and it would substitute it with another workout. Then come back and remove the injury once it is healed. - Option to skip workout without rolling into the next day; this would be useful when someone is on travel and need to cut but want to keep the days as planned for that muscle group. - The “Gym” and “Home” Option is very fantastic, but an additional setting for people with limited equipment would be lovely too; for example, some may have some free weights equipment and not machines; it would be cool if I could select the equipment I have and the app would personalize my workout base on that equipment. - Track Weights and recommend weights. For example, 10lb/kg, 60lb x 6 rep, etc Overall very cool app, this improvement will defiantly put you more of an advantage over your competition. FYI, I am an app developer so I know this market well. 😉😊

Good app but needs some quality of life changes. The app has a wonderful data base of workouts and specific exercises by muscle group but I have two really big issues with it. I listen to a lot of my music on SoundCloud and don’t necessarily need to see how the exercise is done every time so I pause the demonstration video. However, by doing this it pauses my music every single time and whenever I go to the next exercise demonstration and I pause the demonstration it pauses my music again which is extremely frustrating. Also there is no way while doing a workout to go back to the full list of exercises listed in the full workout without completely stopping the workout to see it in list form. The other option is scrolling left or right through the exercises demonstrations but then again it continues to pause my music. Seems like a super good app but it really needs to make it possible to just pause the demonstrations without it affecting music and there should be an easier way to see the exercises listed in a list and not have to do the demonstrations while doing a workout.

Seriously lacking experience. I really wanted to like this app. There are no audio cues for changing positions and working through the workout. There is a button for audio, but nothing happens when you turn sound on. You will have to do your workout while staring at you phone. I was expecting a voice to describe the exercise and cue me for time elapsed. The one bright spot for the app is the calendar of workouts. Everyday it has a set of workouts with how much time the routine will be so I can plan my day around and them. I didn’t get into the meal planning, that wasn’t that important to me. But I canceled the subscription pretty quickly because of what I describe above. Maybe they will enhance and I might give it a try again. Also the animated cgi muscle people that do the exercise look like robots. And there is no time between exercises for you to transition. So by the time you have transitioned it’s half over.

Terrible Support, Decent App. I signed up for the 3 months subscription when I got the app so I could try it. The app is fairly decent, and I liked that I had a plan made for me for every workout. I was going to keep the app and so I wanted to switch to the lifetime plan, and that’s when I encountered misinformation for the subscriptions, with the lifetime option not available. I contacted support and had one of the worst support interactions I’ve ever had. Support could not help me to get to the lifetime subscription option, and kept suggesting me to just pick one of the options presented to me, which were all repeating with similar names (some the exact same names), but also different prices. After useless back and forth with support via email, I decided it was not worth it supporting the app and continue using it, so I researched other options and switched to a better app. Another aspect of the app I did not like very much was the repetitiveness of the same exercises. App has good potential but terrible customer service.

Fantastic app; keeps you out of the gym. This app is amazing and has gotten me into a great rhythm to work out every day. I started the program after having not worked out in 9+ months due to back and shoulder discomfort. The daily 7 minute workout was difficult for the first week but evolved into a must do after I get out of the bed in the morning. I also do three 20+ minute workouts per week. After 3 months of the program, I feel stronger and look better. My back and shoulders feel great now and I’ve lost 13 pounds off my 46 year old body. Only complaint I have is that they need a womens version for my wife who would love to get into the program. Or at least a disclaimer that shows workouts are good for women.

Great presentation - has potential!. I’m on day 102 of a 120 day plan, and just received an update that added more exercises. The variety and presentation of exercises is great, but it acts more like a random exercise generator based on parameters you set, rather than using the feedback you give (too easy/too hard, like/don’t like). The feedback applies to the whole exercise - there us no way to give feedback on certain exercises. It often repeats exercises to the same muscle group more than it should e.g. 3 different push-up types in a set repeated 3 times, and then 2 more push-up types in the next set repeated 2 times! Telling the program it’s too hard and don’t like doesn’t seem to make a difference. Audio voice sometimes calls out the name of the next exercise but usually it doesn’t. It would be great if it always called out the next exercise so you don’t have to look at the screen after each. The program should be collecting lots of data, but there is no way to access it. It should provide progress charts. I payed for a year in advance. I’ll use it for the rest of the year and see if future improvements make it worth keeping.

Update for the worse. Notwithstanding developers’ reneging on a promise to extend my subscription for 6 months, as compensation for participation in a product survey, I find that the recent update introduced so many new but mostly effortless body weight exercises into the routines that I no longer find the workouts challenging. Before the update, I would break a good sweat, and occasionally worked to muscle failure. After the update, I barely got warm. Additionally, the app now ignores your setting for workout duration. I set it for 20 minutes; before, my workouts would be programmed for between 20 and 30 minutes. After, I received workouts programmed for 40-49 minutes. Yes, graphics are nice, and the ability to change any particular exercise gives nice workout flexibility, and the 7 minute morning routine was a great way to warm up for my cardio days, or to top up the strength day with a quick workout, but I have now found a different app to challenge me. And don’t bother with the menu recommendations unless you are a chef with a huge ingredient inventory. They don’t give you a shopping list for the week so you can have what you need on hand to make the meals. And LOL epic fail when using AI to voice the exercise names: “push U.P.S.” (not “push-ups”). You can find a better workout planner.

Just Starting. This is good. If you are way out of shape when you start, as I am, there may be a couple that you can’t do as prescribed. For me it was the tricep ups. I just scaled it down to the lowest step on my stairwell, and I could only do 2x5 instead of the 2x20 they wanted. Oh well. I got through it. Good length workout and overall reasonable expectations of me based on the info I gave them to use to design my program. And the voice guiding you is very helpful, as are the images. I also like the way there are warm-up and cool-down stretches, and one of them helped me discover an imbalance I did not know existed. The right side of my neck was tighter, so now I know that I need more work there. Very good app so far. I feel optimistic.

Where did my purchase and progress go!?!!!. This is probably the first review I have ever written for an app. I was on my way to actually getting back in the gym and this app was keeping me on track. I’ve gone to the gym for a long time and I know correct form and workouts, but I was losing motivation and needed someone to just get me there and tell me what to do. This app was doing just that. I downloaded and purchase a monthly plan on December 30. Right away I started working out on the regular. I could see what days I had worked out and tracked my progress. I opened the app yesterday to see what my workout would be today and guess what? It acted like it was the first time I had ever opened it after I downloaded. It is asking me all of the qualifying questions and wants me to pay....again! Firstly I have paid for this month (I double checked my purchase in my apple account) and I am not paying again! I want my progress back and I want the app to give me access again. I’m very disappointed that I can’t access it because I was on a roll. Thanks guys! Guess I’ll have cancel my monthly subscription (which I was happy to pay for a good while) and go to another solution.

Great potential but lacking key features. This app is outstanding when it comes to pacing your workout. Once you start the workout, you have to do very little, if anything at all as it transitions through your routine and rests. I gave a three star for the lack of features I believe would be very simple to implement and for the cost of the app, should be included. 1. It lacks the ability to track your previous weights from exercises meaning you can’t actually track progress over time. 2. Although it will allow you to modify the exercise routine at the time you are doing it, it loses all modifications and goes back to default once you exit the routine requiring you to modify the routine every single time you do that routine. 3. it doesn’t have a configuration for homework outs with Dumbbells. It only allows you to set up “Home” using functional training or calisthenics or “Gym” using traditional gym machinery. Summary: would I recommend this app? Yes, if you don’t mind keeping track of certain things in another app or on a piece of paper that this app doesn’t provide. if you’re looking for tracking and progress over time, then this app is not going to satisfy you. The workout routines are excellent, the usability of this app are perfect, it just needs these few extra additions to make it the best app out there.

App needs a lot of work. The app is great I’m actually loving it but it can use some adjustments. It needs to allow you to go back and see what you did. It needs to let you do the workouts without actually hitting “start” and let you manually complete them without having to hit “start.” I don’t know how many times I completed the workout without hitting start and after I’m done forget to go in the app and just hit start and click click as if I followed it with it. So then guess what the next workouts day I have to do the same exact workout or else it won’t give me a new workout. I’ve had to do the same workout like for a whole in the beginning bcuz i didn’t know how the app worked. Again, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow users to manually complete the workout by just being able to click one button AND allow users t go back a day and hit complete workout and give you a different workout the next day. For these reasons I gave only 2 stars. I hope developers are reading this. 🙄

App Tracking. I’ve had the app for 4 days, purchased it so I could get some new exercises into my weekly routines. I am not new to working out nor inexperienced. However having a program to track and rotate your exercises for you is a time saver. Especially when you enjoy changing up your workouts. I have had this app for 4 days. Completed a morning workout each day, to include suggested workouts, as well as an additional workout in that time. Not one has been tracked, the history shows no workouts completed, and the contact us in the application does nothing when clicked on. So besides being able to select workouts and do them. I had to manually track the workouts completed, which I was doing before the app. I have the correct version of iOS operating system for the app and I have no issues with any other applications on my phone. So I paid 63 dollars for basically a list of workouts for a year, which I already new 90% of. Very disappointing.

Please FIX the BUGS. I’m very interested in this app. It appears to have the design I want to setup my workout routine while focusing on all the areas I want to improve. It sounds like it takes into account where your body is at and when it needs rest. I actually really like the fact that it is the model used to show the workouts rather than an actual person. Over all, everything sounds great and I want to purchase the app as my new guide! HOWEVER, after reading many reviews it appears there are many bugs in the app right now. Everywhere from just having purchased the app and registering to not marking and keeping track of completed workouts so that you don’t progress. This is very concerning for someone who is looking to buy the app. Right now I can say I’m very interested in purchasing the app, but I first need to start seeing that the app is updated and working. If you look in the recent reviews it sounds like it isn’t working for anyone. Hopefully these issues can get fixed so that I can use your app rather than going elsewhere. Just know that until these bugs are fixed you are losing costumers like myself until they are fixed. Thanks and I hope these are taken care of soon so that I can buy it in confidence.

Needs alot of work. A couple of issues:- first, I started this new to working out and the excecises are lacking so much detailed explanation, and the very beginner excercises get way too difficult. E.g reverse tricep push ups for a 121kg absolute beginner with sedentary lifestyle??! Really!??? Second, the voiceover/coach really needs to give spoken tips on the positions being taken when prepping for the next exercise. Inspecting the phone each time is annoying. Please include spoken directions like “reverse lunge. Keep back straight and feet pointing straight forward…. Etc, Lets go!”. Third, If you select to workout from home it quickly becomes apparent that you should have a gym bench seat. I have no furniture thats a suitable substitute. Workout from home option should account for that or at least give a list of props required before taking customer’s money. Fourth, every few videos crash requiring to tap previous excercise then tap forward to return and hopefully restart the current video. (Iphone 12 plus) Fifth , rest periods need to be more obvious. Replace the character video with a dedicated rest countdown clock animation.

The work out routine. The routine has changed completely from what I was doing from the start I’m not sure what happened but it has put my off my training schedule could you change it back to what I was doing when I started on this app please

Swapping workouts. I’m really enjoying the workouts and also seeing major effects in my body. The only issue I have is that I cannot swap a workout for a day. So for instance if I have a rest day, instead of moving the workout to another day it just cancels the workout. Is there a solution for that?

Warning Scam. You sign up for 3 months they charge for a year. You can’t get further than the register page. Then you cancel before the 24 hour no charge period but they still take your money. You try and contact them but only get automatic response from computer. I’m still trying to get refund for something that dose not work

Login needed. Hi guys, great app but can you make it so it has a login. Sometimes I use my phone and sometimes I use my iPad. You can’t use this app and other apps at the same time e.g. listen to music. Can you amend this too?

Stuck on registration screen. Everything about this app looks amazing how ever I’ve paid for muscle booster premium which is $97 a year and am unable to use it as I can’t get passed the registration screen. When you pay for something you expect to get a fully functional product.

Pretty good. Not a bad app, some of the workouts get 3/4 through and then goes back to the first excercise and does the whole session again. I think it’s a bug with latest update (2.21.1)

Meal setting has disappeared. For some reason my daily meal setting or tab has been removed so now I cannot see my daily meals that I should be having which is a big part of my training I’ve had this app about 2 months plus I’ve tried reaching out with emails daily but no response also I’m on the $7.99 weekly plan

Great workouts, just got a small suggestion for meals :). Overall, loving the app for the few weeks that I have had it! One thing that I think could be improved from the workout perspective, having the audio somewhat explain the exercise/give a tempo would be great for a beginner such as myself With the meal plans, I saw a couple options that I thought would work for me but I am not able to do a ‘mix and match’ type of situation. One way that I think this could be done is by having like primary plan (e.g. clean eating) and secondary plan (e.g. Mediterranean) and tertiary plan (e.g. Scandinavian)! This is just a little idea so that you get a wider variety of food ideas, Loving this so far, Caleb :)

Good programs but app crashes. The programs for working out at home are good and provide clear instructions. But the app crashes every session and I have to restart the app. Which is not ideal during a circuit. Hopefully this is fixed as it is a relatively expensive subscription

Scam don’t get this app. This app is a scam don’t get I’ve been trying for 2 months to get my money back and cancel the subscription can’t even use it it’s that terrible gives you the the wrong training advice and no diet plans there’s a lot better apps then this you that you can get for free or cheaper and that won’t rip you off like fitness budd

Need a lot of work. I used that the first time yesterday, not bad and has some great exercises, I had a very good work out so 3 start for that . But for the rest needs improvement.. can’t add the weight I have been training with. No rest time between the exercise. Hate that motivation voice.. so much more.. improved and it will be a great exercise tool

Warning (yearly subscription only). Hi guys, The app looks great but have a problem with signing up as it at first says that the subscription has a weekly fee of $1.88 but then they charge you for a year so please think twice before you sign up as it doesn’t deduct correctly. I have filled for a refund due to this.

Stuck on start page. Just purchased 1year subscription and it doesn’t go past the start screen. I can see from past reviews last year this isn’t a new problem that has been failed to be rectified. Please resolve or legal action will be taken.

2nd review, 5 months later: fun, but tech problems. It’s a great concept. The workout plans are great, varied and engaging though it would be nice if you could track the weights you are using for each exercise. Unfortunately, the app had a lot of tech issues. Minor problems like videos freezing and rest periods of one hour. I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app four times because it stopped working all together. I’d recommend using the trial period and month to month subscription in case you experience similar tech issues - don’t sign up got the annual subscription as the developers can’t offer assistance on obtaining a partial refund.

Paywall. After spending a few minutes answering questions you need to pay a subscription before you can even use the app. Quite poor to not even get a basic preview or partial preview before paying money or be told about this upfront.

Paid but. I paid a full year subscription but the app has reset back to start and asking me to pay again. please assist in fixing this issue

Just paid app won’t let me in. I just paid for a year subscription. I can’t even get past the getting my plan screen. I’ve closed and gone through the steps again a few times and when I hit the restore account button, the app just sits in idle and never loads ! Seems like a scam and judging buy all the comments I’m not the only one. Looks like I’ll be contacting apple for a refund!

Don’t waste your money. Why are you below standard graphics call Scott What do you start out paying there’s not what you end up paying. Make sure they don’t get you with automatic debit‘s like they got me. The price jumps by a full $20, per month. It’s not even worth five bucks per month. When I challenged them it was all about policy and procedure and there was no way for them to help me on my terms. They are hidden away in the back blocks of Cyprus somewhere. That should tell you a lot. BUYER BE WARE. It will pay to remember that policies are written to protect the writer more than they are to help the reader or the user in. No accountability through PayPal either. I think I will be heading to after pay from now on.

Cannot create an account. I created and paid for a 3 month plan expecting that it will let me create a login account at the end so I can access my plan and use it. But the payment has gone through and I still cannot create account in the app. The login details have not be sent to me either. I tried again and the app asks me ask those questions to create a new plan. Is this app even real?

Great workout for an older man. 70 yo. Put on your rock and roll and go for it. I spend a half an hour or more each morning with this program. The neighbours get a dose of my favourites, no complaints yet. The program began as hard but gets easier or at least manageable. We travel sometimes and I can use it anywhere, Sydney, Edinburgh or Albany. So if your program doesn’t push you a little then it’s not worth much is it?

No free trial available, no information about refunds or evaluation period. After an extensive questionnaire about yourself the app throws you options for subscriptions… very expensive for an unknown service. There is no free trial available. No information about evaluation or refund, neither in the app nor in the developers website. I wonder if this is one of those services that hook you with cheap marketing tactics and don’t refund you if don’t like the services. So please offer some sorts of free evaluation. This is basic nowadays. Be careful, don’t subscribe if you are not sure about the service.

Workout recommendations aren’t accurate. I installed this app a while back and paid for premium, but overtime the recommended workouts became not accurate at all I would select Hamstring workout and get recommendations for bicep curls, I would select back and get told to do chest press, the app is complete cooked and un usable for anything beyond Someone’s first day at the gym.

Feedback. The apps going well however there a few things I feel could improve the app. 1 / The option to search for certain exercises would be great, there are so many which is great but also makes it hard to find something specific. 2 / The app also stops in the middle of my workout if I leave the screen briefly to say go & change my music or check a message which is annoying. 3 / There is also no way that I can see to look at my history or workouts performed the day or week before & either re do that or change the exercise so I’m doing something different each week.

Bugs galore. The workouts are good, there is enough diversity and the challenge is great. However, the app has failed to sync 3 progress 3 times in the first week, and lost any record of those workouts. It’s also not syncing with Apple Health which makes it almost useless to me. All in all, disappointed that something costing money can have a quality bar this low. As a software engineer, I know just how sloppy this is.

Rip off app doesn’t work. Paid for 3 month subscription after setting up my plan. Once payment is made it then tries to sell you another stupid plan at a ‘discounted price’. Then doesn’t progress past the login screen. Paid for a service and can’t even login. Absolute joke of an app. don’t bother.

Used to be really good. This app used to be AMAZING, then they replaced the content of the workouts tab with a ‘Create custom workout’ setup, which you need to do every time. This has really devolved the app. As a UX designer, I’m not sure why they didn’t just add this custom workout feature as an option in the original workouts tab, rather than completely replace it. Bring it back, I beg of you! This is not what I paid for!

Good app. Whilst app is good with wide range of programs to chose from, it keeps on crashing after using for 6 weeks and I can’t seem to get it working anymore. I had paid for three months subscription and used app for half of the duration only.

Constant Crashing. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP I’ve been using the app for 3 months and am at my wits end. Every time I use this, I will get somewhat through a training session and the app will crash, or the workout will restart. I have been patient with it, but it’s never worked during a workout without complications. Anytime you open any other notification on your phone, it’s almost like the app has a hissyfit that you aren’t on it and restarts the workout. I tried hitting the contact us button in the app but it never works. I want a refund, so please advise how I go about getting this.

Step count. I have been using this app for almost a week now it’s pretty good only problem is that my step count on the app isn’t synced up with my health step count so it’s always lower then it’s actually step count.

App stops working. I was enjoying using the app for ~3 months and then there was some update and it kept showing the same workouts and I kept having to skip, which was a bit annoying. Eventually got fed up and cancelled the subscription. Also, far too many rest periods in the short workouts meant lots of skipping.

Will it work?. Tried to lose weight for a few years but only one success a year ago, then regained the 8kg weight. I eat well (90% of the time!) and do exercises (when have the time). Let’s see where this takes me. Just started today, but looks promising!

Body Image Shaming. The advertisement on Snapchat displayed four generalised body types; Skinny, Plump, Normal and something like Obese/fat. The ‘normal’ body image was represented by a toned and muscular abdomen region where as the other types were fairly represented for the definition. If it were normal to be in that sort of shape, this app wouldn’t even drive interest to its market demographic. It’s just a shame that the people in charge of marketing this app are able to challenge the idea of normality with a physique achieved from hard work. Sets expectations high and leaves a majority of people wondering why they fall into a bracket that is potentially more worrisome.

Getting there one step at a time. Be awhile but worth the effort . Once off the lazy thoughts , just keep going .

SCAM (DO NOT PURCHASE)!!. I literally paid for the 3 months subscription, the payment has been dedicated from my account but the app will not proceed with the workout programs. It constantly takes me back to the initial page. I am not one to ever write reviews but stay clear of this app. So disappointed it’s even allowed on the App store.

Good Stuff!. Huge variety in food recipes that can be reapplied even if you don’t continue training. Muscle workouts are varied and seem to seek a relatively balanced muscular frame. Would recommend for those with a bit of time on their hands but not for people who are busy. Only negative is the extremely specific ingredients with no alternatives given I could find. Also only use American brands for certain ingredients so you have to look those up and find a suitable alternative yourself

Major bugs since app update. Unfortunately the latest app updates had added so many bugs to what was a great program After each workout I log complete and it give me the relevant results and then the next day on opening the app the previous day is not logged say “Rest Day” “no workout logged” even tho it was completed. This means a program is not been delivered and I’m having to set my own muscle group each work out and weight are not been logged! I’ve sent a email to the contract us. But not response For a app of this price point I would expect more…..

Stuck on get started screen. Hey guys, the app has a great layout and seemed fantastic at first. I created my plan and then payed for the 3 month subscription and I have being billed but the app now won’t let me past that screen, when I press get started again it prompts me to pay again, when I press restore purchases it loads and then doesn’t proceed, I am very unhappy as I have being charged for a service that has not being delivered.

Confused?. I got 6 pack and this stupid thing is telling me I’m over weight? Think I might stick with my personal trainer

No good now. It was going really well ; but with the update now its not at all good. Cant check workout history. Cant see what im going to do day after tomorrow without completing current one.. and workouts are not at all good now. No clue what they have done so unsubscribing.

Love the app. Love the app! However it would be great that you could change a specific exercise for another alternative after I press the “start workout” button.

Not worthy of the cost or hype. Doesn’t let you save or edit a custom workout for later use. Have to rebuild every time. Prompts user to download a workout … to who knows where. Presumably to complete workout if offline. Struggling to understand the point of you can download to access again at a later date. Don’t waste your money. They’ve spent all theirs on artwork and neglected the actual app.

Not for ready made people. No trial option in case one doesn’t enjoy app. This app is built for either skinny, regular or fat people. No option for a person who is masculine that needs improvement for muscle groups.

Rubbish app. I immediately regret my purchase. This app does not offer what you would expect from a fitness app. The workout generator is rubbish and only offers a randomised workout based on muscle group, which btw doesn’t even include legs! The meal plans look to be biased towards to vegetarian too. I would remove my review if I were to receive a refund.

Terrible. I was excited to get this. I have just got back into the gym and was looking for some ideas with workouts etc. I didn’t find it with this app. For example I am squatting 3 sets of 10 reps on 100kg, the app suggested I do 2 sets of 12 reps of sitting on a bench and getting up to improve my strength?!? I’m just gutted I signed up for 3 months. We live and learn 😂

Sneaky tactics. Makes you do a lengthy process of providing all your information only to lock you out unless you pay for an account. I’m guessing this works with people who don’t want to feel like they’ve just wasted all their time with the signup and so pay anyway. It’s a cheap trick and very irritating. I would never pay for any app until I can at least trial it.

2nd review, it’s improved but still be careful you check fully. 2nd review, it’s improved but still be careful you check fully. When I first contacted the company, the exercise regime was only for fit able bodied people. Since some back & forth the developers have included various restrictions like back injury plus the ability to do campaigns that allows for injuries. I’d still take to the Physio / doctor before embarking on the program but I’ll test this over the 3 month subscription I have to see if it meets my needs & restrictions.

The cost of false advertisement. I’ve read your reviews saying the information was there, but what was the point of saying $1.88 a week when it only takes the full amount? That’s a scam and it’s very obvious you knew people would call it out considering you have a page purely for subscription terms. Hopefully next person to see the subscription goes to the review section first so they don’t get scammed

Workouts are great, platform isn’t working. I am really enjoying the workouts, however the app has stopped registering that I have completed the workout. At the end of each workout, it shows the workout is complete, however, when I log in for my next workout, the app hasn’t registered the previous workout. As a result, I am consistently having to move forward through the weeks to find my next workout. If this was fixed, it would be an amazing app

Scam. This app does not work gets to the 13th step and freezes, it’s taken my one months subscription and then nothing, it won’t let me register, change a password, only thing it will do it take me back to the beginning and wants to charge me again. Trying to get in contact with Apple to have my money reinstated. Waste of time

Great app. I tried it for the shortest time available to see if I would like it. I found it really helped the chronic pain in my lower back. I have since renewed it for one year. A few months in and feeling great! It’s amazing how good a body can feel .

Great help. I’ve only been using this app for one week now. Already I feel better. Once I turn 60 I knew I had to do something to keep me mobile. Being a 60 year old volunteer firefighter it gets harder to keep up with younger folks. I’m very impressed and thankful I found this app!!!!

Terrible app. Terrible app, every dollar you spend on this app is a waste of money the workouts are irrelevant unless you want to stretch and get no results for the workout, GYM SHARK is FREE and 100% better!! It got 1 star because it makes you pick a rating it would be ZERO if I could

No trail. It took 10min literally to answer the questions to make an account. After that, it took me directly to the payment for the plans. I even didn’t have a chance to have a tour of the app to make my decision.

Allow users to use the app on trial period. Allow the users to use the app on trial before asking for payments.. The user should know the interface and how the app works.. Before getting an overview i dont think anybody is going to directly pay and start using it.

Free trail. I was expecting at least a weeks worth of a free trial, but unfortunately there is not. The app itself seems real good though.

Waste of my time. Got all my information and didn’t not gave me a chance to see how the app works … it tricks you to give you all the personal information and then they want you to sign up for a paid plane . I would never commit myself to something that I can’t try

Maybe the worst reviewed fitness app I've ever seen. No free trial was a dumb decision by the developers 😂

Auto Renewal Cancellation. Auto renewal cancellation is not in settings, and if it is, it is conveniently hidden for you not to be able to stop charging you easily. I just downloaded the app and WANT TO MAKE SURE I won’t be charged for it. The process is not as easy as I believed...

Info. Lors de l inscription annuelle on paye d un seul paiement ou on est facturé chaque semaine

Stupid. 20$ a week?!?!?! What the hell man Makes you choose your entire workout style just to offer u a free week trial then payment method That is stupidly expensive That’s more expensive than my damn gym membership

Auto renewal for subscription. Auto renewal cancellation is deliberately hidden in the app. Not easy to cancel your subscription. I don’t trust this.

Clear and concise program. Easily the best workout partner I’ve had. No longer do i have to think about what exercises to do and for how long. This App does it all for me which makes me stick to the schedule. Thank you for supporting me on my journey to healthy activity.

No Trial. App appears to be exactly what i am looking for, however with no trial its a no go.... who would sign up to an app without trying it first.... you should at least have a week trial or something.

So far so good!. This app is encouraging, customizable and motivates me to continue using it. It’s good for all the exercise equipment you have and let you achieve a very realistic program according to what amount of equipment you want to use. Even if you only have a chair, this is still a good app for getting results.

Let users test the app at least for 3 days !. I want to purchase the app, but I’m not sure what I’m buying. First of all it looks so the app focuses only on man’s physique ( or I might have missed option to choose woman not sure) and second thing is I’ve tried many apps before that say one thing and in reality is another, so I wish it was possible to try the app at least for 3 days or do a discount for first month so I know what I’m buying. Please take that to consideration.

No free trial???. The developers know people want free trials and will tell you “thanks for the recommendations” in the Apple reviews - but let’s be honest they won’t do anything... stupid app - save your money and just google the information, it’s way easier than you think.

Why fooling people?. My experience was based on downloading the program and answering a number of personal questions about the body, lifestyle and goals. It takes you a certain time, then without any introductions a button will appear (give me my plan). After clicking on it, it will refer you to the existing payment plans. I do not like this type of apps that is not obvious from the beginning with payment details. I removed the app immediately. This is my experience, which certainly does not include the efficiency of the app.

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!. Hi, I gave this app five stars because I love it and it’s the best one for workouts that I’ve come across worth every penny! But today it ask me to sign in again for an unknown reason, I put my email in it said invalid email I tried again and that second time it said to put in the one time code that it supposedly send me, didn’t get any code after 3 or 4 resend codes (I had bad service but enough service to receive different emails) nothing from Muscle Booster! After those tries I figured I’d create another account with the same email and hopefully find a different option to get my old account back since it shouldn’t let me create two accounts with the same email but I was able to create a whole new account set it up (same email I’ve used on my first account) and now I’m suppose to start all over again which is very frustrating since I was done 60 workouts from 120. If there is any way to get my old account back I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me out before I start a new workout routine!!! 🫤 Ps. After I opened the new account I updated the app but that didn’t solve my problem!😕

This is a scam. I didn’t even subscribe and they charged me $41. I am trying to reach to them in every way but nothing is working. I keep receive the same automatic email from support service. The email say that I need to unsubscribe and ask for refund via Apple. However I can’t see the app in my subscription so there is no way to unsubscribe. It also say “free” in my purchases. So I can’t not ask for refund. But THEY CHARGED ME $ 41. There is no way to reach anyone or anything. I am extremely frustrated by this fraud.

Don’t waste your time. They make you answer 30 questions, then you’re hit with a paywall to see your workout plan and have to pay a minimum of 30$ to access the app.

Worst app ever made. This is a scam free trial they’ve been charging me for the past 2 months what a joke ur app sucks i’m not sure how you all get dressed in the morning maybe your wives help you or your husbands but you are clearly not capable of doing so your app sucks you make money off hidden subscriptions you team is as good as the Hunter from bugs bunny. do yourselves a favour and just steal peoples organs it’ll hurt less then this blind robbery.

Good value for price. For 2 dollars a week you can’t go wrong(79 dollars a year), less than a annual Netflix subscription. App is intuitive and very easy to use. I am glad I purchased it.

Poor customer support. They never reply to emails. Emails are the only way to contact them. The app keep crushing during workouts, there is no customization and weight changes. Also, it doesn’t record how much weight you left.

Hate the sales method. I was looking specifically for a chair workout. I got to see my personalised workout after paying and it was NOT what I wanted. So I got nothing for my money. The app looks great, if that’s what you want.

Apple Watch intégration is very sloppy. Synchronization between phone and watch apps is unstable and often leads to not capturing data to Apple health

Basic. Downloaded the app after seeing an ad. I find the graphics are very basic and you are not able to see details such as a grip on a dumbbell. Had to pay $25 just to learn this. Sent an email to support asking to cancel subscription as through the app was glitchy and took quite a while to send. Please beware and look at similar reviews. Deleted before even using. Will go back to videos online.

You got to pay, could be worth it.. Good app to help motivation. Exercices are shown with animations and are easy to replicate. Food menu is shown only day to day, not practical at all when I comes to groceries in a pandemic. Offers from time to time stupid menu: I had plain asparagus proposed for dinner this week. I suspect that the app is based in another time zone than east coast, app is constantly on the next day, which false my progression if I do a late workout or want to accumulate steps in the evening.

No trial?. Literally apples requirements is to have access to the app without having to pay or sign in. Atleast have a trial? How do I know this app is for me??? Uninstalled.

Wow. After 1 year of people saying it’s garbage how you’re required to pay before getting to use the app, you’d figure the developers would take the hint and make a change. Guess we’re all just dollar signs to these people. I wouldn’t even bother downloading unless you’re going to pay right off the bat. Nothing but another pandemic exploiting money grab.

Fit during COVID-19. This app is helping me get fit during the pandemic. It’s awesome! An update: I’ve been using this app for 74 days now, and the physical improvements I’ve seen in myself are encouraging and pretty awesome. It’s motivated me to get into better shape, and it works well.

Just a honest opinion. The developer is very nice and polite with the quick response, I honestly think this app should be at least free for a month or two without locking you with a payment, if people like the app and get results they would pay for it afterwards. Just advice for these people ranting about the app, if you don’t like it read the comments first and don’t give bad ratings just because you struggled with a payment cancelations.

Apple Watch doesn’t work with it. Previously apple watch worked with the app. After a recent update, the Apple Watch doesn’t work with it.

Can’t log in. Can’t log in on my account. I can’t even receive security code.

No free trial period. Not going to pay for something I can’t try first.

Un pas de bébé à la fois. Difficile réapprendre à être en forme, mais nécessaire.

Very good. I like the schedule and keeps me focused to keep on going. So far 2 months in and feeling great. There are a few bugs with the app itself, but they do not affect your workout, but it does mess up the schedule for the next days workouts sometimes.

Nothing is free in this app. The price of the app is free but as soon as you get to your workout plan you gotta pay 80$ a year .... this is a complet joke . Just look up workout plans on YouTube

Bad app. Ask money at the start, no free trial -_- Poor content...

No Trial ?. I didn’t get the chance to test the app because i have to purchase a plan. I will never pay for something I didn’t get to try. You should have at least 1 week trial period to get people to test the app features

Not renewing through the Apple purchases. I was purchased without my knowledge. Doesn’t show through Apple purchases. They said that is only through the website but I never accessed the website and the initial subscription was through Apple purchases.

First time user. The workout hits the designated target Impressive Thank you Keep up the good work Happy new year to all Lyne

Downloaded & deleted - Expensive with no free trial. On the surface it appears to look ok but never got far enough to see first hand. No free trial. Seems rather expensive!! Considering the number of free workout apps out there.

Bull this is a total scam app. I downloaded this app there is No way to stop renewal. If I get billed my lawyer will have fun as there is Nothing in settings like you said at initial start up. Total scam. And to make this complaint I had to rate first I give it a Negative 5 stars not the one I had to click. Abell Fitness and Performance CEO

Hate this app. Don’t like this app i tried to use it for free and it made me go through every detail about what I wanted then it charged me when I didn’t want to pay. Don’t download this app!!!

Excellent app. Just wanted to know why they took off the rehabilitation of the body plan ?

Not free. It says is free but the only option is by subscription. Im uninstalling.

False advertising. I am a “skinny” body type and this was one of the few apps that advertised weight gain. My meal plan for gaining 25 pounds included some Avacado toast for breakfast and some Lentils for dinner…oh…don’t forget the fruit nuggets (whatever those are) as a snack. I agree with other reviewers that things like “wimpy pecs” and “skinny arms” are not positive reenforcement when beginning a workout plan. Furthermore, after choosing “beginner” and 50 as my age, I was not expecting to do exercises that I had not heard of before. I don’t like that there is no preview of the exercise prior to beginning the workout. I’d like to know if I need to choose an alternate BEFORE beginning the workout. I reached out to support and they did reply, but with generalized answers not addressing my specific concerns. (Similar to the response that will probably appear below this review.) This app boasts to be a custom workout for individuals yet ignores some very crucial parameters.

Estimates Wrong. This is a good app it’s helped me to get back into the routine of working out again and got my muscles back a bit over the past month. I think that the workout times are extremely flawed though. For example, I just completed a “45 min workout” in 55 min and I was doubling down on the stretch’s. The real time of each workout is roughly 10-15 min longer than stated. Also the step counter doesn’t work at all. This app has full access to my health apps and tells me I’m only walking 500 steps a day when my Apple Watch and phone are tracking 7,000-9,000 steps a day. Over all it’s a good routine setter and a good app but it has a few bugs.

First week and I LOVE IT!!!!. I stumbled across this APP last weekend. Looked at it and decided to sign up for one year subscription. Did my first 7 minute at home workout on Sunday. All I can say is that I’m blown away with this program. It seems like this is something I’ve been searching for years. I am only in my first week but the value is incredible. It’s like having a personal trainer for only $60 per year. I would definitely like to share my results in six months. Happy if the developer wants to do a story on my progress.

Paid and app won’t work. Downloaded the app, it says in app purchases. But then I had to set up a subscription to continue setting the app up. Ok cool I’ll bite. Make my payment for a three month deal, then proceed to register. Then I’m asked to buy even more stuff. I skip that. And finally I’m asked for my email and a password. I put them in, and hit continue. No luck. Back track to make sure I didn’t miss something. Do everything all over, put in my email and a password and hit continue…. Nothing. So here I am out $30 and a app I can’t use. Two things, first I would have hoped the App Store would vet the vendors a little better. Second, never buy anything you see on Facebook. Lesson learned and now on to Apple to try and get my money back.

Have not downloaded App yet.. I want to start by stating that I have not downloaded the app yet, but I will as soon as I say this first. I read most reviews before downloading anything and I’ve noticed that a lot of the issues could have been solved by the user had they read some of these reviews. Which brings me to the point of this review. Thank you to the development team for actually taking the time to read the reviews and to actually respond. It shows me that you all do actually care about the success of the app and are actually trying to make it better. For that, alone, I give 5 stars!

Used to be a lot better. I’m only writing this review because after a recent update they don’t have a bank of workouts to pick from anymore. I used to use this to stretch following my workouts and now the only way to do a workout that isn’t set for the day is to have the app create a workout for you by muscle group. That being said there are no longer any stretches besides just the warm up ones. May not be a big deal to some but this app has lost its convenience with the removal of that. I don’t always feel like doing a full body workout when the daily workout has me doing that and used to like being able to go through a list and select what I wanted to do.

AVOID!!! You cannot cancel!. I signed up for the trial through an Instagram ad. The ad sends you to their website. I always review my current subscriptions in iPhone settings. There was no active subscription to MuscleBooster so I assumed it was canceled. I was charged again and contacted their Customer Support. I requested a refund. They said if I didn’t request a refund they would give me a one year subscription with no additional payment required and they wouldn’t charge me again. Three days later they charged me again! This time the excuse is I didn’t cancel my automatic payment in PayPal even though they told me I didn’t have to do anything else and would not be charged again! There are better workout apps for less money and more importantly apps designed by companies you can trust to keep their WORD!!!

No trial or even 1 week subscription. Ultimately I chose not to pay $20 just to see what’s available in the app so I can address specific details about the app. I will say it feels like a cash grab to not allow users to have a trail access or a smaller commitment like a week. If you know you have a minimum cost for people to use the app of $20 then just make the app $20. Instead you let people download it for free, waste time setting up a profile to then get to a pay wall so you can do nothing with the app without a $20 purchase. That seems predatory to me and if the app is as good as you say it is, allowing people a week to use it for free or a nominal fee would only improve your user base.

Not bad but could be a lot better. I downloaded this app at the beginning of the year because of the vast catalogue of workouts they have. You could select a specific muscle and get a whole variety of workouts ranging from no equipment at home too a full gym with everything. After a while I got a routine going and didn’t really use the app much at all. There’s not a lot inside the app that you can do other than have it create workouts for you and give you food ideas for a diet. Most of them unrealistic and not quick and easy. This app would be so much better with self customization of workouts and being able to track your reps, sets, weight.. ect.

Believer After Being a Skeptic. After recovering from a surgically repaired broken wrist, and on the heels of COVID, my strength and fitness were lagging. I took a leap of faith, downloaded the app, took the quiz and paid for a whole year up front. I’m six months in and the results are fantastic. My weight is stable - I wasn’t looking for weight loss. I’ve lost 2 inches around my waist and have had noticeable improvements in muscle mass everywhere else. I do the 7 min workout everyday and the 30 minute workout M/W/F mixing it in with swimming 3 days a week and paddling outrigger 3 days a week. I’ve now turned on at least 4 friends who’ve decided they waited too long to start.

Not for beginners. Note: I lowered there score because there was no response from developer on the below comment! As I hate reading reviews just find out if something is for me I start with the bottom line first and you read the rest if you like. Bottom line is this may be good for some more experienced people, but if your beginner look elsewhere. There are free apps that give less modified with wider range of exercises. They also have better instructions and that have more realistic goals. Don’t forget if the app is free then make sure it has a trail period to make sure it works for you. If not look elsewhere fitness app are dime dozen on apple. Why not for beginners? Using animation to show the exercises with no real instruction means beginners are prone to hurt themselves. Problem with animations is they can do more than what the body can do. That being said some of the exercises are similar to basic core exercise, however been modified. When doing the full range of motion in that the video show will defeat the purpose of the exercise as there meant more for the smaller muscles. Another point is that gives little variation in the main and additional exercises if you want to change it up. Also no trail period, this should always be a big clue that you may not like an fitness app.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would.. First off, it’s been applying my steps to the next day instead of the day I actually do them. It’s been weeks and that’s still not fixed. I don’t have time to do the amount of steps that are preset in the app and so I changed it so I can meet the goal and the app keeps restoring it back to what it was before I change it, over and over. And finally, today I tried to use it and I was signed out. The app doesn’t recognize my email address and so if it does sign me out, I have to answer the twelve questions over again in order to get to the restore purchase part so I can actually use the app. I’ve never used an app with so many bugs before. Sad, because the actual work out part of the app is good and actually works but the bugs are frequent and very frustrating. Buyer beware.

First Day. I saw the ad for this app while scrolling through IG this morning and I decided to check it out. Looking at the information in the App Store, I felt inclined to download the app and see where it leads me. After going through all the personal info steps to get the right plan for me, I chose the 3 month plan. Now, I’ve been wanting to start working out for quite some time and I’ve just not taken the leap. Seeing the ad for this app this morning gave me pause to consider, “maybe this is the time.” So, I took the leap and dove right in. In my mind, there was no better time than now. It was just before 6am. The entire house was sleep and all I could think of was my days as a young Marine jumping out of the rack and getting right down to business. My first workout was motivating and energizing, which I knew it would be. Now it’s just about staying with it and I’m motivated to do so. I can’t let another day go by without taking the strides to improve where I know I need to and with this app and my payment, I’ll be sure to continue forming the habit of improving my health and well-being.

Liking it so far. I like the variety and all the information the app gives but it needs more buttons once you find the workout or exercise. It would be nice to add a workout onto my plan page so that it’s easier to find again later in the day(Maybe have a separate section of favorite exercises). Anyways I’ve been a big quitter and this app is helping. The first workout day I tried the at home one and my wrists couldn’t go on half way through and I ended with no progress that day. Instead of discouraging me it made me feel l needed to find other workouts and exercises that I could do completely and the next day(today) I’ve got some done in the morning and feeling better than ever.

Great work out. I like this app so far, I’m new to working out so I find this very convenient to have. It shows you how the workout should be done and what to do next. I hate going to the gym and not knowing what to do next and find myself wasting time. This app fixes all that. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to see all the meal recipes in one tab, rn it only allows you to see the recipe for the daily meals but I’d like to know the recipe to something that was there the day before and there’s no way to find that again unless you take a screen shot. 5 stars if you guys put all the recipes in a tab to look through.

Enjoying the App; additional features needed. While I’m really enjoying the app so far (loaded with functionality, exercises and instructions), I’d like to be able to see additional features. Particularly, (i) ability to record weights and loads lifted, (Ii) ability to change duration of rest periods and (iiii) ability to see the entire workout program at any point during the workout. Currently, you can only navigate from exercise to exercise during the workout which is extremely inconvenient when you’re wanting to see the entire program at a glance. Also, I’d like to be able to see an entire program at a glance.

Great app missing one key feature.... I've been a long time user of this app. Love it, when I travel I can customize what equipment I have. I'd love it even more if I could save my custom workouts as favorites. As of right now I have to select my equipment, select my target areas and then scroll through and make changes to any individual exercise. Waste of a good 10mins. Would be amazing to just have ⭐button when making a custom workout and always be able to call back to a bunch of your favorite work out routines. Even better would be if you could name them. "@home arm 60mins" "@hotel full body 30min"... 🤞🏼🤞🏼 one can hope.

I’m sorry for the team. I know this isn’t a review on the app it self but there is one review that is mad at the team for “preying on insecurities of men” the reason most men and women downloaded the app is bc they feel like they are overweight or underweight or even fine but just want to gain muscle. Accusing a developer and their team is just low. The app is outstanding bringing in all types of problems that can be changed if directions are followed correctly. If you downloaded the app you can’t blame the team for your own body type. I’m sorry this isn’t a actual review but u felt this needed to be addressed. I love the app it is great

Has potential; disappointing execution. There several features that are useful, I.e. the workout plans and meal plans. However, the app doesn’t do either particularly well. The lack of an audio guide means that you have to constantly look at your phone. While you can preview your workout before you begin, once you’ve started you don’t quite know how many times you’ll be repeating a particular circuit or what the next circuit is—which isn’t particularly convenient when you’re in a packed gym vying for equipment. Additionally, the time estimates for the overall workout plan is inaccurate: I find that the time to do reps-based workout aren’t included in the overall time estimate meaning that your workout is definitely going to take longer.

This app makes no excuses. This app is by far the best app to start exercising your way into a healthier you. The group that created this app took into consideration every level you may be at to bring you an app that can help deliver the results you are looking for. From home workouts, alternate exercises, gym exercise, and morning reminder, they make it impossible to fail. This app keeps the routines short enough for you not to quit but long enough for you to feel good after which makes it easy for you to want to continue. I never have paid this much for an app but it was well worth it. This is like having a personal trainer 24/7.

Great works, poor execution. The app is a disaster. Doesn’t record the work out you did, workouts get frozen and won’t advance to the next exercise, can’t change days around. You can tell they had a great idea, put a bunch of great workout together and then spent all their money on advertising and not refining the app. It’s hard to justify the monthly subscription cost with how poorly the app work. Also, during the rest it should announce what the next exercise will be so you can be ready for it. I should also be able to tap the icon of the exercise in the workout list to see how to do the exercises not back all the way out and have find it in the workout tab. The real question is has any one at the company actually use the app on a regular basis, I’m guessing the answer is no.

Great for people who live in the sticks and don’t have easy access to a gym. I don’t get the bad stigma with this app tbh. The workouts are pretty good, though the breaks are a bit too long. I feel like the negative comments really are from people with a fraudulent illusion on how exercise really works. You aren’t going to go from a 215 lb 5’9 man to 180 lb ripped god in 3 weeks just from 10 minute a day exercises. It takes a lot more than that, on top of a diet. For those that are complaining that it costs too much, that’s kind of fair tbh. Imo there should be a week/month long free trial. Great app. See you guys in 4 months

App has loads more potential. I like the app so far, but I think it needs a diary feature to log how much weight one uses on each of the exercises. That way you can track your progress over the months and years. Additionally, it would be nice if during each rest period, there was a displayed notice for which exercise was coming up next, so that we can prep the next machine or load more weight, etc. (You can always pause the app to get things set up, but it would be nice to do prep during the rest period too). Overall pretty decent app, though needs more features. I really like the animations with targeted muscle groups. I think the start and pause function for both the music and each exercise set should be separated for ease of use…but that’s just me. It works well enough as is, but isn’t intuitively recognizable upon first use. Looking forward to using the app further. I also thought the first gym exercise was too easy, but the app asked me for feedback on the perceived difficulty. I’m hoping it will adjust itself to make the workouts a little more challenging.

Has potential, 1 big suggestion. Let me start off by saying I did not pay to use this app. I cannot speak as far as the overall experience or performance. However I was disappointed after downloading the app and filling out all the questions only to find a “pay to see plan” screen. The one thing I would suggest that would make me feel more comfortable as well as others who download, would be to give the customer a 1 week preview of what their specific plan would look like. Maybe even a 1 week free trial. If your product is truly worth it then I say prove it. At which point I would gladly pay a subscription charge to continue the service. Assuming my experience is enjoyed and brings value.

Great overall but can’t reach customer service. Great workouts - and overall great app. However I’ve now reached out twice to the customer service email, only to get the messages bounced back the the email box is full. I’ve been using the app for about two months and recently my workouts stopped synching to Apple Health. Nothing was changed in my settings. Not sure what the issue is but would like to get that fixed. Also noticed at times it seems like there are two audio tracks going - I’ll get the “almost there prompt” too early and overlapping with the exercise ok currently on.

New improvements! Wo…hoooo. Been using this app for almost 3 years now! I just saw the updated version and it just took the dynamic factor of this app to a whole new level. I love the fact that I can let the app know what machines I have in home and boom it creates the perfect workout for me. Really excited to try it out. What disappointed me is now I don’t have the access to choose the various cardio workouts. Is it hiding somewhere in the app that I can’t locate or is it just gone in the new version? It was really easy for the days I couldn’t or didn’t want to lift to pick a cardio workout and get some movements done. If possible please do add the cardio selection back. Please and thank you. 🙏

I’m serious, this could be your way to have your dream body. I’ve been using this app for a year now, I didn’t believe in it at the beginning. But guess what! What an app to use, what an experience to have 😍. Firstly, they always have new things to add to the app and male your experience even better. The kind of care is peerless. For an example, I have an injury in my knee and suddenly I find exercises made especially for this case!! If you go to the gym and don’t have this app, you are missing a lot and going in the wrong direction.

Total Scam. This is not a tailored workout. The app randomly throws exercises together in hopes of creating an illusion of targeted workouts. You might do the same exercises two workout days in a row or go two weeks without hitting a target area. I wanted an app to take planning my own workouts off my plate. Instead, I got an app with ZERO science behind it. I stopped using it after a month. Then, 3 months later, they hit me with a $54 charge because it defaults to auto-renew. I immediately contacted the developer, but they are refusing to refund my money. I have trained military and pro athletes. I noticed a 5-star review on this app by a supposed pro trainer. No way. There’s no way anyone with experience in this area could use this app for a trial period and see it as anything but utter baloney. Don’t get scammed!

More customization. Nice app with potential. I like the range of exercises. That said, I find the workouts to be far too easy, even when on the most difficult setting. (And while I’m in good shape, I wouldn’t say I’m in incredible shape / certainly not body-builder physique). There should be a way to increase the difficulty of the workouts- probably would merely increase the reps and/or time for particular exercises, or maybe swap in more challenging alternative forms for an exercise. Please consider- I really think it would be an easy adjustment, and would make the app far more useful. As it is, I’m considering cancelling because it’s annoying having to pause so that I can up the reps or time to give myself a good enough workout.

Audio prompt, workout schedule to be improved. The app is great overall. But I have a few issues just one week into using it. 1. During workout, the app doesn’t have text/ audio prompt on tips of it’s specific exercise. Some moves are complicated training alone and it’s hard to look at the phone and do the right move. Imagine the app telling you, “rest entire body on the bench”, “avoid using you chest when lifting”, little things to make sure our move is correct would make this app another level. 2. I wish I can pause the workout. Sometimes when I came across something more complex, due to the reason I mentioned above, I often have to exit workout to go look at the tips to do it right. And with the lack of PAUSE option, I have to skip 8 exercises to go back to what I was doing. It gets annoying. 3. Work out schedule. I have my workout scheduled Mon, Wed, Fri. Somehow I opened the app and there’s a workout scheduled for me on Thursday. And today (Friday), as I just finished a work out. The app didn’t showed that I completed today’s workout. Not feeling satisfied. Hope it can be improved.

So far, this app has been a great buy!. Muscle Booster makes it super easy to get a workout in. I’ve been able to do all of the workouts in my living room within 7-20 minutes. The hiit-type training gets your heart rate up but also slows you to go at your own pace. I’ve been sore almost every day after my first week. I use several other apps, Lose It & Garmin step counter, and wish that this app could connect to those apps for a more precise reading of my daily activities. Overall, I would recommend this app and am enjoying the workouts and results.

This app has changed my life. Thanks to this app I’m 50 years old and in the best shape of my life. Im down 30 pounds in 4 months, I sleep better, feel better and fit in my clothes better. Having something that show me how many of what to do each day helps me maintain holistic fitness. I only recommend updating the Training Settings to allow a user to select what equipment they have so it doesn’t assign you exercises that require a bench when you don’t have one, etc. I know you can modify the exercise in the workflow but previewing it each day for what you do/don’t have is a pain.

Can’t Access My Workout Plan. I am eager to use this app, however after I go through the process of choosing my body type and laying out my goals, it gives me a workout plan that I can’t access. Once I click “Get My Workout Plan” it takes me to the subscription page. Once I chose my subscription and paid for it, it just stays at that page. I try clicking continue and it gives me the option to manage my subscriptions or click “ok”. When I click “ok” it just stays at the subscription page. When I click “restore purchase” it just refreshes the page and then the same thing happens when I click “continue” again. There are no other buttons for me to click so I am confused as to how I am supposed to get access to my workouts. I have already been charged for my $20 a month subscription so I would like to know what I am doing wrong to not be able to access what I paid for. If you could please help it would be greatly appreciated.

Honest Review. If you're a beginner or trying to get started working out this is not the app for you! Most of the workouts will be difficult for a 1st timer and you wont understand the value of the exercises. This application is for people who have been working on for at least 6 - 1 year consistently. This application(paid version) is what you need to target specific muscle groups to tailor your body the way you want! If you're looking for an application to tell what you want, this is not the app. If you know what you want, but don't know how to improve, then this application is for you.

I love the app!. This is a great app! I love how they integrate stretching into the workouts. They even offer a meal plan. Great options! One thing I wish they did is to add a preview window showing the next exercise. The app moves through the workout in rapid succession, which is great! Without a preview window, you don’t have a chance to get prepared for the next exercise, such as, adjusting the weight, changing from standing to ground exercise, etc… Also, a lot of people have some home equipment. I’d love if they took an inventory of what individuals had at home and adjust your workouts accordingly. Other than that, very thorough! I recommend it.

Great App!. This app is amazing! Workouts for anywhere, gym or home and you can feel they’re working. I started using this app about 6 months ago and I already see major results. It even features a meal plan with the right amount of calories you need. My only complaint is that during a 30 second test in the app and I switch to some other app it sometimes closes and your custom workout isn’t saved. It can be really frustrating halfway through a workout and it refreshes. Turning off background app refresh doesn’t help either. But besides that, this is great and would 100% recommend.

What is Happening?. This has always been a great app with minor updates and adjustments over time. Usually, just minor tweaks that weren’t totally necessary but didn’t create any user challenges. However, this latest update is by far the most disruptive in my two years of using the app. I spend more time “logging” and switching back and forth than should be required. It really takes the flow away from the workout experience. Also, I’m constantly looking up at the screen to see a countdown since audio is apparently removed. This is not the move!! I’m going to hold on briefly to see if things will get back to “normal”. If not, I’ll be changing platforms.

Average Weekend Warrior. I have been using this app for a month now and I like it a lot. I am a guy who likes to work out, but gets bored easily with workouts. I also like to use equipment sometimes and sometimes I don’t. Surprisingly one of the biggest benefits of this app is the ability to choose a workout routine with or without equipment. Another big benefit is being able to switch out exercises within a routine and still workout the same area. Routines also incorporates warm ups and stretching. I care of working out but just don’t want to think and choose what exercises to use everyday, especially after a long day at work. There are some improvements I will hope they roll out in the future (i.e. where is the female representation on the app diagrams??), but pretty happy about the app to the point I would spend 5 minutes thinking about and writing this review. Stay awesome, Gotham!

Poor service and weak app. I’m not sure how they have this many reviews as I found nothing unique about this app. Apple fitness provides a lot more value, personalization, and motivation at a lower cost. The app doesn’t track your progress. The notion of a “plan” is simply a one-time list. If you deviate (say you workout at home vs the gym), that workout isn’t counted. If you switch days, that isn’t counted. In addition, be careful of the fine print… a one month plan is actually 2 months, with one at full price. When you ask for help with this when you are surprised by a charge, the customer service folks are unsympathetic. “You clicked the button” is the response. Net/net, there are many better apps out there, and many more who care about their customers.

3 weeks in and loving it. I look forward to using this app every day. I needed a change in my life and I tried this back in April when I worked from home and then I stopped after a week and a half. I went through my wedding in August not looking my best and feeling low about myself but hey-it’s 2020, right. Well I’m on a mission. I got my playlist going and I’m on a mission for transformation and wow I really do feel the results. Granted, I’ve been eating so well and with 1 cheat meal a week. The daily menu helps me out and I got some good recipes from there. This app def feeds my competitive nature and I love even the little confetti thing at the end of a session. Anyhow, give this app a shot! Looking forward to using this app for a very long time!

Does NOT support family sharing. For starters, you are unable to try the app without subscribing. The experience begins with a survey and generation of a workout plan that’s only viewable after signing up for a subscription. The listing in the App Store states this app supports family sharing so I thought ok, my wife and I will get to use this so I subscribed for 6 months since that was $40 at the time. Well this app does not support family sharing. This app is also very underwhelming. The generated workouts are fine, you’ll get that anywhere. But this app lacks any sort of tracking of weights used or detailed stats about your workouts completed and progress made. At best, it tracks the number of workouts you’ve done. 2 stars for not being buggy and having quality workout animations. Do not waste your money on this app.

Just getting started. I have a thought for the app. I have a home gym. I don’t go to a gym, but select gym for my workouts. I have a half rack, bench, 300 in plates, straight bar, curl bar, kettle bell, Heavy bag, jump rope, treadmill, elliptical, dumbbells, stationary bike, inverted bench, power rack w/ bands for resistance. I’m not trying to bring attention to me buying stuff. BUT....... what about allowing users to select the equipment to get exercises for the stuff they have. Also, include a heavy bag routine for diversity. I am brand new to the app. I am enjoying so far. I like that it takes away having to plan a routine. Big fan so far. Give me some more time, I’m sure it’s going to be 5 stars.

Great exercises, workout history tracking not great. The workouts are great and time intervals are thoughtfully designed. I also like the lack of some random person telling you what to do and the way they instead designed a strong mannequin of sorts instead to show you how to do each exercise. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is because the app seems unable to save my workout history, whether I follow my plan, or do different workouts than what the app has suggested for me that day. I’ve done a bunch of workouts in April and it shows my most recent at being on March 23.

Love it!. Love the idea of not having to think what I need to do at the gym. Workouts are simple but can be as intense as you want them to be. I am at the point where I can see workouts I’ve done before and totally beat my amount of reps done in the given time! I’ve been using this app constantly for almost 2 months. I have only been doing the long workout with out any special diet (other than my 18 hr. Fast) and I can notice all the changes that my body has done! I recommend this app if you are a student like me and have time restrictions all day and have a sedentary lifestyle.

Bad app. Thing is a disaster the routines since I had less than week continue to go on not stopping at end of set usually happening with reps instead of timed sets now your 2/3 rds finished with workout you can’t go back at point it failed and resume so without a complete workout they can’t fine tune your routine walking steps they count wont count unless you stay tuned into workout you finished if you tap completed workout any step count is lost, worse of all contacting them with message once you finish typing to send no send button so that’s a waste,in this day of crap this is rediculus for the subscription just another pay for junk and steal your money with no way to contact them with no send button to send your complaint for help, don’t bother look for another app that does work for your money!

Great app; a few bugs. I have been using this app for about 3 months and am really enjoying the variety and flexibility, as well as the adaptation when I am at my full service gym vs hotel gym. Only issue is that numerous times in the middle of a workout on my iPhone, I had to switch screens to view a text, email or change music. When I came back to app, it kicked out and put me back to creating a new workout. Very frustrating. Hopefully, that glitch can be fixed. Also, a request to add as an equipment and exercise option...TRx straps. Great option for exercise.

Great app. I’m familiar with the fitness world I have been working out for the past six years, I am 24 years old. However as time goes on and I get older I have been on and off with the gym, sometimes taking longer breaks from the gym then going on the regular. Needed a little push to get back on my game I just completed my first workout with this app. Forget wasting money on a personal trainer you literally save 80% of your money by just going with the plan for this app. In the past I’ve been in the best shape of my life and I know what it’s like to get there all you need is some self determination this is the app for you. My name is Adam and this is a review coming from Arlington Texas.

Don’t Do It. My app has crashed every third or fourth workout and starts at the beginning without saving my workouts. Workouts are basic at best. You can’t change the breaks in between so you’re constantly carrying your phone and pushing forward button. Tech support is an absolute joke. I’ve been told each time to delete the app and reinstall. Last time I did it and “restored my purchase” it charged me another three months which I’m now working for a refund. Each time I did it, I lost my workout history which is almost two months worth. I workout routinely and I was bored as well as needed some ideas to change up my routines. This is just not the app for it if you’re an experienced person at the gym or home workouts. I’m no bodybuilder but I’m in good shape so I was open to the experience. The app is frustrating more than it is helpful.

Great app! Several perfections suggested.. First thing first, great customer service! Every review here got a reply from the developer. That’s a plus. And I noticed, the developer, besides replying to reviews, actually take those reviews into accounts. Evidently, I saw several changes in the app that made to meet the reviews up here. I’m currently under the Weight Loss plan for around a month and have lost 12 lbs since (together with my own daily diet). So I would say this app helps. The personally customed workouts work great for me, what’s interesting is that there’s also a whole separate catalogue of workouts that’s very helpful everytime I’m looking for additional exercises. It’s been working well for me, but I still think of some improvements that can be added to the app. First thing, how to breathe. That’s important, knowing correctly when to inhale and exhale during an exercise helps boost effectivity. Second, can you please make it able that I can change my target weight? 😂 I don’t seem to find it anywhere. Overall, Great app! Help much! Thanks!

Great app, please bring back the predefined workout list. I really enjoy the app, this is my 2nd year and I recommended it to all my friends. Few months ago the updated version introduced the custom workout creator which is a great feature however removed the predefined workout list which was a great way to redo a workout that I liked. Please bring back the list of predefined workouts! I love the Apple Watch new features well done! The last update introduced a bug , my gym workouts disappeared ! Even when selected as the only option in my training settings
