So SHRED. Although I am not a neophyte to fitness, after a few weeks on the app I feel like I am just now understanding what this gym thing is supposed to be about. The gym is somewhere where not once in fifteen years did I walk in with an exact blueprint of my workout, now I do!! 1) the workouts are phenomenal ! The key word is EFFICIENT. The workouts are crafted to reduce rest and work counteracting muscle groups or muscle groups that work concentrically. They move in a way that is intuitive and in a way I should have been working for years. 2) the use of the gym is time saving and is most conducive to dynamic workouts without distractions. There is a flow to workouts where the circuits use the same equipment for the duration of the workout and limit unnecessary movement around the gym. 3) the social aspect has elevated my motivation and interest in fitness. I know when my friends are working out and what they are working. I get push notifications when they start or when they cheers me during my workout or following it. I have a few followers or fans now who get alerted when I workout too.

Great for beginners!. I’ve never really been to the gym, aside from the two times my brother got me to go (he’s a personal trainer. I can’t go to him every week though because I live an hour away). The main reason is because I was honestly scared. Scared of what people would think of me, scared of not making enough improvement, and mostly scared of making a fool of myself because I simply don’t know how to use the equipment. This app is great because you can choose your workout style and how long you want to work out and the coaching style. It explains how to use the equipment so I at least LOOK like I know what I’m doing. I don’t go to the gym everyday but I’ve gone more times in the past couple of weeks than I have in my whole life and I love how alert I feel after a morning workout. The only critique I have is I wish the app would let you select your gender. I’m a female with a fairly large chest and some of the things that have you on your stomach is pretty much impossible for me to do without pain and I usually end up skipping those, meaning I’m not getting my full workout sometimes. But that’s really the only issue I’ve come across.

ABSOLUTE BEST FITNESS APP, HANDS DOWN!. I’ve been an active person my whole life but after college found that I gained weight as work took over my life and found less time for the gym. I’ve always wanted a personal trainer but who has the time and who has the money for that? So I turned to fitness apps. While there are a lot out there that get you through the motions, none of them inspired me to keep going and I always found that I’d stop working out after a month or so. Then I found Shred. Game. Changer. This app is not only user friendly, but highly customizable. Whether you’re a training athlete, a casual gym goer or a complete newbie this app is for you. I started doing workouts during my lunch break and within weeks had lost weight and within a month actually noticed some differences looking in the mirror! Most importantly, the app has me coming back. THAT IS WHAT MATTERS MOST, PEOPLE!!! Do yourself a favor and download this app the moment you feel like changing your life...

Must have for on-the-go lifestyles!. I’ve tried a lot of workout apps and programs before, but the one thing I felt they lacked was true variation. I’ve been using Shred for a few months now and my absolute favorite aspect is how many customization options there are. Whether I’m exhausted after a long day at work and want to do a quick twenty minute body weight circuit, or have the day off and want to go the gym and crush it for two hours, Shred enables me to select exactly what I’m feeling. I also think the videos and instructions are clear and concise without slowing the process (and to be honest I chose the positive reinforcement method and I live for the inspirational quotes in between exercises). This is a must have for anybody who has a hectic work schedule but still wants to make fitness a priority, especially if you travel! If you stick to the program, I think it’d be hard not to succeed with Shred.

Workout app that makes you sweat!. The real testament to how great this app is was the fact that I will probably spend the money on the subscription! This is by far the best workout app that I have had so far. Yes, it may not have as of an extensive exercise library as some but the quality and ease of it all makes it worth it. Being able to choose a set of alternatives, choose your intensity level, and choose the category of your workout based on your goals was awesome. Also having the timers integrated into the workouts and being able to add the weight you were using as you went along makes it so easy to use. The only suggestions that I would make would be to allow the user to go back to the previous exercises in order to add the weight they used. I kept on forgetting to do it and had to even do a workout restart in order to add them. Also adding a feature so that you can change your rep and set scheme would be useful. Other than that, as long as y’all keep adding to the exercise database this app will only get better even without my suggestions.

Perfect at home pandemic workout. I’m sure I’m not the first and probably won’t be the last to think this is the best no equipment exercise routine I’ve done. I’m not one for classes. I like cardio and and weight lifting is to okay. I am an avid mountain biker and like to stay in shape for that purpose. This is a great all body workout overtime requiring no equipment; just perseverance and guts, mixed with a little bit of suffering. I’m only on day four and have a couple of months to go.I can tell this will be my go to exercise when I resume travel and am in reasonably cramped hotel gyms with a little equipment. Borrow a yoga mat and go out by the pool. That’s all you need. The only downside is you have to follow along and touch your telephone a lot while working out.

By far the best workout app I have ever seen. I used to have a personal trainer before covid. After a couple years I knew I needed to get back into working out but I just didn't have the motivation because I have so much difficulty figuring out what to do. It was just too complicated for me to remember and what weights and everything. So I just didn't go. Then I thought about a workout app because I had completely forgot they existed to be honest and I downloaded this and it's literally exactly like having a personal trainer. It's insane and even better in some aspects because you log your weight you're using and everything and you can see what you did in the past. It's absolutely amazing and it's exactly what I needed for motivation to get back into working out. And the app is beautiful and extremely well designed! So impressed! THANK YOU!!!

Shred is changing the fitness game!. After not being able to afford personal training at LA Fitness for $300 a month. I decided to seek an alternative. While attending UC Irvine, I had a friend who recommended the shred app. I went ahead and gave it a try. I loved the user face on the app. It’s so easy to navigate the app to get some access to killer workouts that will have you pumped after every workout. I like how there’s different types of programs to fit any type of physique you’re looking to acquire. I personally want to gain size so most of my workouts are done under the bulk setting. Since I started using the app, I’ve added 90 lbs to my squat, 50 lbs to my bench, just to name and few, oh and my shoulders are looking so big. I’ve recommend this app to more than 15 friends and family, and to social side of this app helps me stay on track because your friends can see when you workout and what you worked out, they are also able to do the exact same workout as you, which is really cool. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is reading this, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE GAINZ YOU GET USING THIS APP.

Phenomenal. First of all, I am a high school varsity football player. Used Volt for the past couple months with school, can safely say that SHRED blows it away by a mile and then some. Everything about this app has been designed and has delivered from the top down. The quality and customization level of the workouts is unprecedented. Excellent UI/UX and effective, killer workouts. Love the addition of the programs too. When I'm travelling and don't have access to a gym, I can simply choose "bodyweight" mode and get a high-quality workout with no equipment required. Best part of all of it: it hasn't cost me a penny. Keep it up, team, and thank you for making fitness accessible and challenging me and all others to reach and push past our limits. God bless

Garbage customer support and fraudulent billing. I had to change my payment due to my debit card being stolen. When I did, I was charged $99 for the yearly subscription, which I did not approve and did not want. I reached out to customer support and received absolutely no response. Today, I was issued a charge for a monthly subscription!!! And clearly I can’t get anything done about it because they don’t respond!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Like the app fine but don’t want to deal with them because of the way this has been handled!!! UPDATE: Michael from Shred reached out promptly after receiving my email re: the billing issue. The confusion was that Apple had billed me and Shred was also billing me. He apologized, explained the confusion, and promptly refunded my payments that been charged. I felt valued as a customer and like they really did care and want to make things right. I’m glad to be able to stay with Shred as I really love the app and all it has to offer!

Good app but needs more. I have been using this app know for 2 months and while it provides challenging workouts, I find that workouts have core exercises always in the workouts. Especially if I do full body one day and the next day I do a specific muscle group it has many of the same exercises—it would be great to have it recognize what I did yesterday and offer up something different. Also a BIG opportunity for the app is to add more granular muscle groups—for example, if I want to work legs, I would really like to be able to select Quads or hamstrings or glutes or a combination of those. Currently when I select legs it typically builds a program that targets all areas which leave me having to do adhoc or make changes to get what I need from the workout. I don’t always have a lot of time so I was counting on the app planning the workout for me so I can just perform the workout..not always the case when I want to target a specific muscle group.

Solid App—recommend *. This is a solid app with a strong amount of customization. I’ve been lifting for years and I’ve don’t mixed martial arts and CrossFit in the past, so I am always hesitant about fitness apps that are supposed to replace experienced and thoughtful workout planning. Surprisingly, for your average or above average athlete, this app doesn’t disappoint. There’s a lot of options for customization of workout length, type, equipment, and location. It tracks your weight for a given lift and let’s you subjectively rate difficulty. Three days into using this, I signed up for a year and I have no regrets! The top features I would like to see that would take this from 4 to 5 stars (if any of these features exist and I haven’t figured them out—I’m sorry! But that would also speak to usability): 1. Allow you to select and save the type of equipment you have available in your gym and your home to decrease the amount of time selecting “alternatives” 2. Allow saving body dimensions and progress photos 3. Allow the “social” aspect to search your contacts or social media to add friends more organically 4. Allow more advanced or involved users to schedule out their workouts ahead of time and offer suggestions of different splits or workout styles—for example, schedule a 8-week bulking phase, then a 4-week cutting plan, etc. etc.

Responsive and comprehensive tracking. This is a GOOD app BUT… it doesn’t seem to exhaustively update sets across multiple days/programs consistently. So if I do cable let pull down on back day but then add it on another day, it doesn’t always reflect what I did the last time. Additionally, it doesn’t seem as balanced as it could be. I find it focusing too much on certain parts of a muscle group but not others. One example: the exterior/under side of my pecs seem neglected. No dips of any kind included. It also neglects some of those micro, stabilizers AND any/all warm-up/cool-downs and muscle group specific stretches. I’ve found myself getting little injuries and strains more from this app than other programs from past trainers or apps (confirmed by my physical therapist that the programs are imbalanced… and he treats Broadway dancers and professional athletes for a living).

Best Training App. Thought through very well. Everything you need is there. So many different workout styles. There is something for everyone. It shows you how to do all the lifts and whatever you do with a helpful video and tips from your “trainer. Every week your workout for that muscle group changes slightly so you are not getting bored of the same old workouts. My favorite feature might be when it notifies you of someone working out. If you follow someone you get a notification saying “blank is working out and crushing the weights” and There are other messages too. This feature is always motivating because it shows you there are other people out there working out while you are at home not working out. Much worth the $100 a year. If you think about it it’s like paying for 2 training sessions with a trainer. Except this doesn’t sit on its phone distracted. This app tracks your progress showing you what you lifted the prior workout when you did that set. Again extremely well thought through. Thank you shred.

Best workout app for sure!!!!!!. Previous to using Shred, I would make my own workout plans and I would always get bored with what I had and I was less motivated to hit the gym because of that so I started looking for a good app for my workouts. I found a few and tried them out. After only a week of using Shred, I deleted all the other apps because of how much I loved Shred! It gives me personalized workouts every single day and it always keeps me on my toes. It remembers the weights I’ve used so I know what to use next time, I can create my own workout to focus on certain muscle groups, check in with a buddy and workout together, it gives you tips to get the most out of the workout you are doing and so many other features. I have had several friends and gym buddies get Shred after seeing the workouts I do and the results from it. This is by far the best workout app I have ever used!!

Great guidance and features. I never rate things, but had to after I got an email from these guys saying that I’ve been using the free version for so long, that they’re giving me the paid version for free for life!! I’ve always loved the free guided workouts, but now I under how valuable the paid version is with all the different ways to improve mobility and strength. I’m very focused on improving and maintaining mobility, so the classes you can go through that are pre-recorded are fantastic. Only thing I think could be added would be some sort of nutrition integration to help people with diets. If they had that, this app would be the complete package, and already has my full support. Thanks Shred!!!

Love it!!!. I’ve been telling myself for 10 years post college that I would finally commit to getting the body an athlete in the prime of his primordial existence should have. I wanted to be a warrior at the gym , I wanted to be a beast and do it alone. I never wanted a trainer, I never wanted the small talk, the feeling of being somebody’s pay check. Shred gave me the keys to the castle. I have workouts that not only are the best in the gym BUT workouts where at least a few people ask me where I got my workout every single time, including trainers. The workouts are dynamic, athletic and efficient no matter what style you use. I try to alternate between four different syles over the course of the year, LeanX and Crossshred when I’m in absolute beast mode and want to up my anaerobic and muscular conditioning . These styles have athletic work, and isolation work. I also do Bulk and Classic to focus more on iso and hypertrophy training for really working on muscle density. I also do my Shreds at the end of the workout to stay as chiseled as possible. Shred has allowed me to kill it with the ladies, finally! Like a serious change that I’ve never had. I’ve never been the guy with the abs, but I really am now. I’m not cocky now I’m just confident and I guess happy. My job is not that amazing in a lot of ways and so Shred is finally something to look forward to at the end of the day .

Extremely Versatile. I know a good bit about fitness and how to design an effective training routine, but as I’ve recently gone back to school, scheduling time in to design and constantly tweak an effective routine for myself has been unrealistic. Searched for an alternative for a while, but nothing I’ve found offers anything near the flexibility and versatility of this app. It just covers everything, no matter what the goal is, no matter how much time you have to get it done. It includes so much even without the subscription. The social features are very cool too. Above all, the workouts are consistently challenging and dynamic. The muscle group of the day will get worked from a variety of angles and rep ranges (the key to achieving well-rounded fitness) and it encourages good habits outside of the app as well. I’m a very active person, so the app's function for adding in “activity” from your day is very useful for tracking purposes. One of my very favorite features that this app offers is the ability to look back over extended periods of time to see which muscle groups are getting the most work to know if you’re succeeding in keeping a balanced routine. There’s just so much here, even without a sub. You won’t find the quality of these workouts or the intuitive thoughtfulness of this app anywhere else. The motivational quotes between sets are epic too. Everything about the app has focus and intentionality at the forefront.

A bodybuilders dream come true!. This app has it all. Chest, arms , legs, shoulders and much more! This app can help you with every weightlifting technique you need. If you don’t have the equipment? No problem the app shows you all exercises you need for full body workout. Have some weights or dumbbells? Good the app will show you many more exercises for the weights and the app is even better if you have a bench again even if you don’t have the equipment you can always choose the body weight option. This app also has three difficulty and depending where you are at the exercise will become either challenging or easy. You even have the option for custom workout by selecting a certain body part you wish to work out. The only thing I noticed is cardio seems pretty confusing. I do at least fifteen minutes of treadmill and elliptical but the app seems to have them the cardio as sets. Very confusing well for me anyway. Planing to buy subscription!

Best training app I’ve found. I’ve tried a lot of training apps. A LOT. I basically look for an app that will provide me a good workout routine for 40 minutes that I don’t have to “think about”. SHRED is a personal trainer in an app. It’s the only training app I paid for within the first week of the trial, it’s that good. The best part about this app and it’s design is that it keeps the supersets in the same area of the gym. So many apps will have you superset and you’re running around the gym. Nope. No time for that. SHRED has you do a superset of exercises in one area- cables, dumbbells- then you move to the next circuit. No running around praying someone doesn’t take your machine while you step away. It also has a great option should you be done with your circuit and move to the next, but the machine or area is unavailable, it will give you alternatives. There’s a demonstration video of the exercise available at each rep. The customization of the app is well done too. You can choose which type of training you want - CrossFit, classic weightlifting, HIIT - the time you have to spend, if you want to add cardio at the end. The only nitpick I have and the reason for 4 stars is that while I can log my weight with each exercise, I can’t change the reps. Maybe I haven’t found that yet but it would help to track actual reps to monitor growth. You won’t regret getting this app.

Helps you SOOO MUCH. I started working out like 5 months ago. I felt like I didn’t have much improvement. I saw an ad for this app and I got cause, why not. One week later I tried it out. ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I never felt so tired before after a workout and it’s because it evens things out so your not doing to much at a time or too little. I’ve made more improvement for my body in 4 weeks than going to the gym for 5 months. It shows you what to do so you can precisely do the exercises right which really helps. And I really feel like it’s custom and at your own rate. If you don’t have the time or money to go to the gym you can almost get a custom trainer in your own home for free. And if you do go to the gym it tells you what to do when your there. But all in all I love this app, and it’s helped me a lot.

Underwhelming and gimmicky. Tried this app on recommendation from a friend, paid for two months and giving up on it: - Can't bounce between exercises, and it'll make you go back and forth between different machines on the same circuit which just doesn't work in a crowded gym. This made me memorize exercises and do them off-app - Bloated: was trying to do a stretch routine and even though I disabled social features, there were pop up notifications of random people cheering me on (?) like I just want to stretch stop killing my battery - If you lose connection, the 5 second videos completely stop loading. It would be nice to cache the active workout, or at least the active exercise (!) so it's not draining my battery every time I play it - and so I can use it even in a gym where the cell signal is spotty. It doesn't even have a thumbnail, it just goes completely blank and if you didn't catch what you're doing next you have to go out and get connection again - I was doing the recommended bodyweight groups and after three weeks found it had made me do arms like 3 times and legs only once, the order didn't seem to make sense / feel balanced (I noticed when it was recommending me arms for the 4th time) - It says it uses AI but it's not clear where... Despite telling it how easy vs hard different weights were, it doesn't make any recommendations with this info, it just saves your previous weights in a confusing interface

Game changer. I’ve used 4-5 different workout apps that never really stuck with me. They have pictures of workouts and different body parts you can choose to hit but that never gave me the confidence I needed. Shred has been my new addiction! The in-depth description of each movement and the coaching tips makes you feel that there’s a personal trainer with you. I love the different styles of workouts you can choose from and the time length you can choose for each workout if you’re in a hurry and just need to get it in. This app keeps me accountable, and keeps track of all my progress. It’s a great social tool to build friendships and to cheer for your friends when they turn it up. And the buddy workouts iS probably my favorite feature. Just scan a barcode with your friend, connect and GET TO WORK! You won’t regret taking this step, it’s been a huge game changer.

This app is everything!. I’ve never written a review for an app before, but I am in love with this app!! Being the type-a personality that I am, I spent hours researching and reading reviews for the best workout app and landed upon this! I’m so glad I found it! The workouts are top notch! This gives me confidence in the gym. I feel like I actually look like I know what I’m doing. I am so sore after all of these workouts. For years I’ve been looking for motivation to workout. I have found it with this app. I get motivated to complete all my workouts for the week. I am excited and look forward to my workout. I am all about efficiency and this app makes your workout efficient. You get the best bang for your buck and have your workout written for you without you having to think about it. Everything in thus app is well thought out from the music integration to the motivational quotes in between sets. My only minor complaint is that the lighting is super poor quality in the demonstration videos. Other than that, what’s not to love!

Great App. This app can really get your training off the ground! While I do wish that there was a way to pick an alternative exercise when your gym doesn’t have a machine. I’m aware that you can switch to a different segment of the workout, but I have not seen an option to say which from a cable movement to say a band or dumbbell movement when a machine is not available at a gym. Admittedly, I could be missing that feature if it is available. Overall though, solid app if you are wanting to start the year off right and aren’t sure about what do at the gym. Tracking features are nice and additional add-on the workout are a great bonus. The premium version does have some killer workouts, but honestly the base version is quite effective for most.

Really Like and Want to Love. It’s a really sweet app for working out and has the perfect set up, just need some tweaking. For example it asks in setting what equipment you have available to use and it saves your selections, but then when you use the guided workouts the workout isn’t tailored based on the equipment you select. So you end up using the alternatives which they nicely have as an option for every workout, but it would be super convenient if the workout program already was tailored to the settings. Also I wish there was a way to be able to use the app with no internet. At my gym it’s super crappy cell service and no Wi-Fi and so sometimes I can’t view the video instructions. Which leads to my other complaint- I wish they would have a stretching routine that wasn’t a class or video based program. I can’t use the videos at my gym and so if I want to do a suggested stretch I can’t since it’s only in video follow along format. If they had it set up to where it was like the workouts and it gave you video instructions on how to do the stretch and a timer for each one so I could use the feature without internet that’d be perfect. Another thing that would be awesome was that after a workout when it suggests a short 5 minute cardio or HIIT that it'd instead ask you how much time you wanted to spend on those extras. I love the option after a workout to do my cardio or HIIT but sometimes I have more time so if it’d let you select an amount vs the preset 5 min that’d be sweet.

Finally...an app that just works!. I've worked out my whole life. And it's always been a pain to have to think about and plan out my workout every day. Not just WHAT to do, but remembering what I did last time and trying to track gains. It was also always a challenge to get in and out of the gym efficiently. SHRED changed all that. Now I literally show up to the gym, open the app, and do what it says. It keeps track of my progress, keeps me moving through my workouts with a timer, and encourages me to push myself the whole way through. I've tried just about every app out there, and this app is by far the best one. And it's a lot cheaper than a personal trainer. They also are investing in their app, making new updates often. I always look forward to the next update...because they seem to be listening to their members and making the app ever better than it already is. Not only is the app an awesome workout app, but the company is amazing as well. It's easy to ask a question or report a bug. And they answer quickly and make you feel like a person, not just a "trouble ticket". Shred team...keep up the great work. I'm a disciple for life!

Almost fully suitable to you. What I like about the app is that you can customize the settings to where it can fit your preferences for your workouts. You can also tell it to skip a workout if your home/gym doesn’t have the proper equipment for that workout. Well.. for the most part. My first workout was for chest and triceps and every time it would go to a new section of the workout, it would give me the option to skip that section if you didn’t have the equipment or if someone was using it (you would just go back to that section later). But when it came to a section using a bar (for bench presses, squats, etc.) it didn’t give me the option. I guess it assumes that every gym has a bar, but I was working out at my neighborhood’s fitness center and it did NOT have a bar. Because it didn’t give me the option to skip, I had to just spam “complete, complete, complete,” essentially lying and saying I did the bar workout when I actually didn’t. Sure, I could use dumbbells instead, but I had JUST finished an entire dumbbell section of the workout prior to this problem. In the end, this isn’t a huge deal, except it can give inaccurate workout information to the one that logs that info for personal use. Overall, it’s a great app, and it helped me get an awesome workout, it’s just this one detail that made me give four stars.

Transformational!. The results that Shred have given me are nothing short of transformational. As a classic ectomorph, I have always been a hard gainer. Over the years, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on personal training. None of those guys, and I mean none, ever gave me the results that I have achieved with Shred. No joke. I am addicted to Shred for so many reasons. The variety of workouts, the choices, the community, the results! My BF and I have both been doing it for 6 months and I can definitely say that we are both turning heads like never before. Honestly I could go on and on about it. The bottom line is you must try it for yourself. You’ll be amazed at how motivated and excited you’ll be to get up every day and Shrrrrreeeeeeeed!!!! Get it today!

Obsessed With Shred!. I downloaded Shred a little over 2 months ago, and I’ve used it almost every day since. I am completely and hopelessly obsessed with this app. For years, I was stuck in the trap of going to the gym and just going through the motions. Growing up, I had always been an athlete with direction and purpose. But as an adult, I struggled to find the same passion in working out. I found myself doing copious amounts of cardio, and I’d just kind of make up my workouts as I went along. My heart wasn’t in it, and I wasn’t seeing much progress. Then I met Shred. This app gave me back the passion and direction that I’d been searching for. The workouts are tough but fair, and I’ve seen more progress over the past two months than I have in the past two years. I’m so happy!! Features I love: - Cheers: The app encourages you to cheer on friends and other users. This may seem minor, but it is surprisingly motivating and creates a positive environment. - Leaderboard: I’m insanely competitive, so having a leaderboard really motivates me to step up my game. - Adaptive path: I love that the app takes into account the workouts you’ve recently done, which then informs the next recommended workout. This particular feature makes the app stand out from other workout apps I’ve tried. TL;DR Download Shred, embrace the workouts wholeheartedly, and get the results you’ve been craving.

Download this app and don’t look back. Shred is amazing. After 2 and half years of on and off working out in the gym doing the same boring workouts I finally found something that got me excited to workout again. Different workouts I’ve never done before. Different training styles. Videos and breakdowns of the workouts so you can make sure you have the right form. You can add workouts if you have an active lifestyle like hiking, bike riding, etc. They have body weight workouts if you want to workout at home. They have full dumbbell workouts as well that destroy you. There is also cardio workouts. You can pick how long you want the workout to be too if you are on a time crunch or want to workout extra hard. Literally this app has it all. I’ve had it since September and haven’t stopped using it since.

Dangerous workouts. Apple keeps deleting my review. Makes you wonder how much this developer is paying them to keep their rating artificially inflated. I’ll save all the problems with the Apple Watch and focus on the meat of the issue - these workouts are randomly generated. No accredited trainer would ever put these together or have their client do them. Exercises that are dangerous are being performed at high reps. Same body parts are being worked out 2-3 straight workouts with no rest. The majority of exercises do not have substitutes available. If they do, it’s usually not an acceptable substitute (for instance, subbing DB Squat Jumps offer only bodyweight squat jumps. The DB is not the problem for most people looking to sub). They also will populate your workout with exercises unrelated to the body part/group that you think you are working out. For instance, I did a bicep workout today. It was full of lunges, mountain climbers, and burpees. Do not give this company money to lazily randomly select exercises for you. You could spend 10 minutes putting them into a spreadsheet and getting a random output from that.

Incredibly Reliable. This has to be one of the best workout apps and guides to working out I’ve utilized so far. My only issue is the app won’t let me access the social tab or the other tabs at the bottom. Other than that though the app is amazing. It helps you figure out what workouts to do, helps motivate you by showing other people cheering you on, and it’s neatly organized. What I love most is the video examples of each workout and the fact that it lets you have alternate options if a workout in that specific category can’t be done at the moment. (Somebody is using that piece of equipment or you just don’t wanna do that specific workout it for example.) I also love how it tells you what days you worked out on so you know if you need to get back in the gym a bit more or what days you did what workout on. Still a fairly new user but I recommend this app to anybody looking to get shredded, lose some weight, or bulk up. This is where to start!

Great app, easy to use. I got this app because I wanted to try something different for my home gym workouts. It gives a great direct planned out workout, that targets specific areas. It also gives you alternative workouts if you don’t have the equipment or if a certain lift is too adventurous for your taste. Little side note, the inspirational quotes that pop up at the top in between each set of your workout are really cool. Easy enough to figure out, but one thing that might make it hard for people just starting out with lifting is, several of the lifts are things many people might have never done. So you may not know how heavy to go when you try to log them in before you lift. I recommend just take it slow and experiment a little and you’ll get the hang of it, then put in what you want to lift. In short, it’s great easy to use app that puts you in a position to work towards goals, while learning where your limits are and pushing yourself past them.

Top Notch. I’ve been in athletics or training my whole life. I’ve been in great shape, ok shape, not so in shape. The two creators of this app and the app itself are beasts. This app brings to light the intensity of how workouts should be as far as training, mind you you can be a beginner, a returnee to fitness and feel totally confident because you have an expert explanation of the exercise, the proper way and technique, and science of the exercise, along with motivational quotes to help push you and get ya through it. You never know what to expect from the workouts, which I love. I just turn on my phone and do what I see. It’s a break from thinking about what I have to do for my workout. I know for sure I’m going to sweat and be challenged. I could go on and on about this app. I use it 3 times a week and I’m a personal trainer who loves diversity, fun, and the competitive spirit when it comes to working out. And I think there’s a certain insanity that the app brings in very fun and effective way for those that desire challenging workouts. You cannot go wrong using this app in your life. It’s a must have when it comes to app workouts. It blows everything else out of the water. Please do yourself a favor and try and use it over and over and over and over. I love it and will always use it Hope you do

Better results than any trainer. Shred has changed my life. The workouts are adaptable to home or gym with dynamic workouts. I love seeing the videos and explanations of exercises so that my form is correct. There are so many different workouts it’s better than any trainer I’ve used. Results are the proof! There are options for styles of workouts and time. Having two kids sometimes I need a home workout for 30 minutes. Shred has that as well as a longer gym workout if I’m able to get to the gym (it also has shorter gym workouts for when I’m in a time crunch). So much amazing content. If you’re looking for a personal trainer experience, but something so much better, then look no further. Shred is by far my favorite app. It’s truly amazing.

Personal trainer in your pocket. I have been using Shred for years and they recently commended me for being an early adopter! I’m not joking when I say it seriously changed my fitness game. At the beginning of my gym journey I had a personal trainer at Gold’s for a year. That helped me become comfortable in the gym and learn basic workouts. After developing a consistent routine using this app, I was at my strongest and fittest I’d ever been. This app makes it so EASY to get an intense and rewarding workout. I always feel like I get an extremely well-rounded set of exercises in, that target every part of the specific muscle group. It is absolutely worth the upgrade, though I honestly used the free version for a majority of my time with the app. Download this!

LOVE this app!. This app has totally changed the game for me. I had stopped going to the gym because of lack of motivation and no clear direction on how to make my time there worthwhile. This app has changed all of that! I’m now regularly hitting the gym 4-5 times a week. It makes it so simple and easy. I know exactly what to do each day while hitting all the major muscle groups and the videos are super helpful for someone like me who doesn’t have a ton of experience weightlifting. I love how flexible and adaptable it is even offering alternate suggestions if you’re not comfortable with an exercise or the equipment is already taken. Lean-x is my favorite - get my muscles shredded and that cardio burn! Seriously can’t say enough about this app. It’s exactly the tool I needed to make my workouts happen consistently and effectively.

Key to a locked door. I’m a women, I’ve never had gym experience and so my only way to get fit has been classes and in reality they just don’t work for developing the way I wanted to. With shred I became addicted to fitness, I became addicted to the gym and addicted to bolstering my stats that show on the app by being consistent and getting all my shreds in. I have had more results in three months than I have had in four years previously In LA doing every fitness class you can imagine. This app is my very another thing I do..... how sad lol. BUT I love being part of the shred community , getting the cheers and the followers , having my friends push me through the app. I’m so happy, seriously this has changed my life. I don’t know this Adam summer that they introduced ad my digital trainer but he is something special , he changed my life and I’m always going to be grateful to Shred for that.

There was four rounds. I picked up this app after a friend recommended it to me during the 2020 quarantine it asked me to pay for it once I was done downloading it but it glitches out and I think I don’t have to pay for it now so I started my upper body workout which I thought had three rounds and throughout the first round I was already sweating by the second my carpet was wet and my shirt was soaked then I looked at round three which consisted of bench dips and pushups with jump squats in between and I pushed through even though my shoulders kept popping because I thought I was done the taste of victory was so close yet the second it arrived I realized there was one more round I wanted to quit so bad but pushed through and when i finished the app had the audacity to ask if I wanted to do cardio I am completely gassed and writing this on my floor covered in sweat not my best workout but was no where near the worst and I’d highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble with staying on a schedule because all you need to do is open the app

Great for those new to the gym. While Shred has a ton of functionality geared towards those who are long-time fitness enthusiasts, it’s also great if you’re just starting out. There are different modes to select at the beginning of each workout depending on your objectives (e.g., bulk, tone, lean), and once you’ve chosen one or more muscle groups or body areas, you will be presented with one of hundreds of different workouts based on the equipment available to you. (You can specify whether you have access to a gym or are using body weight, whether you’d like to incorporate kettlebells or resistance bands, etc.) You can easily log your reps and weight without interrupting the workout, and the app will track those data for you and present them for your reference next time the same exercise comes up. Each exercise also contains detailed steps and videos to guide you through the proper form. I would highly recommend Shred!

Thanks more than you know. I have never ever ever been comfortable in the gym. I’ve always wanted the dream body and knew it was attainable for me somehow. Training with a trainer twice a week wasn’t enough and when we didn’t train I had no idea what the heck to do. My buddy Dominique referred me to shred to beta test and within 9 months my whole life is different . I have a body I thought would take me five years to get and I’m addicted to this app. If I don’t have my stats get better every month I’m bummed. If my week doesn’t light up with orange and blue and green dashes then I know I could have done better. Shred keeps me accountable, keeps me motivated and is the one thing every day I’m excited about. Just can’t really explain in words what this app does for your life , your confidence and of course your body

Probably some of the best money I’ve spent. I had been using the free version for almost a year and was getting some really good results. The video of each exercise is extremely helpful. Fast forward to COVID and the gyms closing, I decided to splurge on the premium version ($99/year) since I needed some new body weight routines. The routines, the pace and just generally everything fit perfectly together. Routine s were split so that I never overwhelmed a particular muscle group. I saw some of my biggest strength gains using body weight, a kettle bell, and the routines Shred provides. I would really give 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 would be the camera angles. Video or pictures of the grip used and the attachments for cable exercise would be helpful. I’m glad the gyms are finally open because now I’ve been able to access the rest of the workouts which has really opened up my routines.

First ever app review. I need y’all to know. This app is amazing. My wife and I needed to motivation to get healthy and workout. I’ve been workout since high school, butI’ve been doing the same workouts that I’ve been doing since football. My wife has always been pretty fit and she danced a lot when she was younger but now since we’ve been married we fallen into a sedimentary lifestyle. This app is super easy to use and it has given Us the motivation to work out every single day. Our strength has gone up our weight has gone down and we are much happier and much more active I could not recommend this app more. Just get it do the trial and I’m almost positive that every single one of you will end up using the paid version.

Not good for a beginner. I would start out saying that if you don’t know what you’re doing. Then stay away from this program. This doesn’t have any pre or post warm ups or cool downs. Some of the exercises can hurt you if you don’t know what you’re doing. I used this for about a week and pulled a groin muscle. I decided ( after) not to use it any long. Which was my fault because I know better then to do exercises like foward and backward lunges without warming up first. I do think it’s kind of pricey for what you get. But thankfully i only purchased a months worth. So it’s not a big loss. If you’re a seasoned person that knows what they’re doing and know how to warm you body up. Then this is a good program. It won’t bore you with the same exercises over and over again. When your done, you’ll feel the work that you’ve done. I probably should of gave it a 3 star instead of a 2. It does have good qualities to the program

Game changer. I’ve known Adam Summer since we were in university, and he has always had a special understanding of fitness. When I found out he wanted me on the beta test a year ago I was excited to try it out. I was blown away. I’m honestly addicted to the app to the point that it frustrates me obsessively if I missed a workout or don’t have time to do my shreds, I need my stats! I need my color blocks and my rising orange diagonal line on my stat sheet. The workouts are second to none, and I’ve used trainers and in retrospect our workouts seemed so weak in comparison. More so my trainers gave me two workouts a week but now I have a PATH and a PLAN. The workouts have an unbelievable flow , moving seamlessly from exercise to exercise , from circuit to circuit, the rest is timed out and the videos and tips are pertinent and clear. Ohhhh and the quotes inspire me and keep from texting during the rest BUT also if I do get off the app for a quick bit in between exercises I get a pop up reminder to get back on the app when the rest is over. I’m just so into this app man, I can’t explain all of what is in one review. But thanks Adam and the team at Shred

Reply reply good. There are. Tom of things fa I like bout this app. Do many. I’m going to focus on some thing where there could be improvement. For one, when you’re supposed to do n exercise for 30 or 45 seconds, you click a timer that has a 3 second countdown. There’s no little “ding sound letting you know when the timer frisky starts. There is one when it ends. It’s something small, but often after I set the timer, I walk away or move I to plank position or whatever. It’s a little thing, but also wouldn’t be too hard to implement. Another when dealing with the workout length (mini, normal, etc), this is more of a question/thought for the developers. Do you take into account past history/length of all other workouts? Or do you look at the length that was taken for that specific workout type. For example, I am still relatively new to this app, doing a mini-body weight-upper body workout takes me about 45 minutes when the suggested time is 25 or so. I can (fairly easily) do a medium lower body workout close to the suggested time, 45 minutes. This morning when I didn’t have as much time, I did a mini lower body workout, but the time it suggested for me jumped up to 35 minutes. I completed it in 22. You would think the suggested/predicted time should take only workouts of the similar type into account. That was a lot, I know. I’m done

Cardio Seems Undervalued. Honestly this app is amazing and has been a complete game changer for me. Awesome workouts, good coaching/guidance, and I’m really enjoying the stretching sessions they added. My only complaint is that it seems like the app doesn’t give you credit for cardio workouts. I like to use the calendar to see my progress and how many days I worked out for the month. But I alternate between cardio days and strength training days, and the app doesn’t show the cardio on the calendar like it does for the strength. I know there can be bias towards favoring strength training in the fitness industry, but I think that cardio can still be excellent exercise and people should be rewarded for having solid cardio workouts.

Best of the Best. As a fitness enthusiast and now personal trainer, I’ve checked out a number of fitness apps over the years. Shred is honestly the best of the best. It’s intuitive, sleek and jam packed with a plethora of workouts and exercises without being or feeling cluttered or overwhelming. The breakdowns are straight forward while the videos are helpful to show the user the proper form of movement. There are a vast majority of options for style of training, which you can filter through at any time (including home workouts with just body weight). There are continual updates which helps keep things from getting dull and retains users’ engagement. There are so many things about this app that I believe will help both fitness professionals and amateurs alike. I believe it will definitely help you in your fitness journey.

Great app, free or not.. It doesn’t force adds, which for me is huge, and is all around a fantastic companion for the gym. Adam(the model/trainer you’ll see) is shredded(which I love to joke about) and shows you proper form with gifs, and explanation. Since form is more important than weight this is huge for people unfamiliar with the plethora of exercises they have. The programs and rotations are great, it’s literally like having a trainer plan out your stuff for you. I also like that you can create customer sessions to focus on what you want. All in all I saw great results from this, and it was a good motivation tool too. I also like the way it breaks down rest in between sessions; not in a general way, but if it’s trying to push a fast rep after heavy weight cycle it’s short, etc. So even the rest periods are tailored to the workout. Get the app, it’s the best free or not I think.

Great workouts that work with what you’ve got.. Shred’s amazing, whether you’re at the gym or at home; the workouts are tough but fair, varied and the cheering feature is great. Keep on shredding fellow shredders!

Don’t like the recent update. I liked it when I could see the three icons that showed if I was on track with shred etc and what percentage. Its gone now. Still no warm up exercises for before and after.

Amazing!. Just started using the Shred app! Loving it! Definitely pushes me to my limit and also a great variety of exercises that I’ve never done or muscle groups I never focused on. In love with Shred!

Don’t bother. Recently changed to pay only platform. Free features have been significantly reduced. If you are not in a position to subscribe, probably worth moving on to an free alternative.

Amazing, real motivator, getting results.. Fitness apps, we all hear about them and we all see them, but what works? I think I’ve tried about 22 different apps and after about 2 months I get bored and move on. I downloaded this app in Feb 2019 and I’m still with it. My body has changed so much, using it 5x a week. Wanna bulk up, the program is there. Tome that body, see the exercises More high intensity, it’s all there. There is such a variety of workouts, intensity, sets, reps etc to change the parts of your body you want to, I’m a person who doesn’t really want to think, just show me what I’m doing and just do it. Don’t pay $90 a session with PT, pay $20 a month, stay motivated and active. You can even add in extra activities that you’ve done, CrossFit, Zumba, etc. The only thing this app needs to do is add 10 minute session to the cardio for a warm up.

Great app. I’d love to have an option to build my own routines, and maybe have a few more options on the free version. Also I’m not really willing to upgrade, I think it’s too expensive. Having a gym membership makes it hard to justify purchasing the app for more than I pay at the gym. It’s a great app and I’ll continue to use the free version daily.

Covid19. Without this app in the current climate I would have lost it. Very adaptive and smart app. Awesome!!!

Great app that really works you!!. Feel every session and even better I'm seeing and feeling the results!!

Quality App. Worth the purchase. Bought it about two months ago. Noticing a major difference with my size. Easy and very helpful to keep track of workouts. Definitely worth the purchase. Have already recommended it to a bunch of mates.

Awesome fitness app!. This app is from far the best fitness app I have used until now! The app is very user-friendly with great workouts. It is even possible to switch between multiple training styles to work the muscles differently. Also you can adapt each sessions’ duration with 3 options (either shorter, regular or longer) and you can choose how many time you want to train per week! I highly recommend this app. The only downside is that the app does not have a warm-up option and a stretching option to cool down after a great workout! Still stays the best fitness app I have tried.

GOAT / Greatest Of All Time. All I’ll say is I have never even come to close to considering paying for an app subscription until now. I’ve also never come close to using these cliche words but I’ll do it anyway.. “This app changed my life”. P.S. As a graphic designer I can safely say that this is one of the more functional apps in the fitness app collection.

Great app to expensive. This app is a great way to get on track with your fitness and to lose weight, get lean so on but it’s too expensive.. I’m a young person just looking for a good app to help me lose weight but I can’t afford to pay a couple hundred a year.

Best Workout App. This app keeps me motivated at gym time, providing targeted workouts for my exercise routine with guided videos and weight recommendations. It’s varied session times gives me flexibility to select a workout length to match my needs and also suggests alternate exercises if equipment isn’t available which can be helpful during busy gym times. Do yourself a favour and download it now!

Best of all!. This is the best fitness app I tried. The great benefit omho is the optimised way that the exercises are bundled to minimise equipment switches. I love it. I don’t have to keep competing for equipments; also, I don’t need to have a full fledged gym since the equipments are basic, and still, the exercises are very versatile. The improvements I could suggest are: - warm up; - cool down/stretching at the end of a workout (like HIIT and Cardio options); - register for medical conditions to avoid or minimize certain types of exercises. For example, I got a bulging disc and some days I would like to do legs but avoid squats (perhaps can keep the same training set but advocate replacement options/tips for an exercise for your medical condition).

👍🏾. Great app really enjoying using it. Would be good if you could log the weight you lifted on each exercise that way when you do the exercise next time the weight is displayed so you can easily keep track of strength improvements.

Great app. Is just what I was looking for to set my routine. Agree with a few other comments eg stretches/warmup before and after would be good and being able to default the weight setting to kg's. Would be good to also if it defaulted to previous weight used and you were able to enter/edit the weight used before/after the exercise in the rest time rather than when should be doing the exercise. All minor things that wont stop me subscribing. Pricey enough but you won't get a PT any cheaper that is at you finger tips. The in app video's and descriptions showing and explaining the exercises are great for those not familiar with all the equipment and doing them properly.

Very effective app. I have tried a few training apps but shared has been most effective and the results show.

Focus and motivation. First workout has impressed. Easy to follow and helps keep you on track when training alone

Best ever... and I’ve used a few. This is by far the best ever app for keeping you on track and away from falling off through boredom or over repetition of the “same old” routine. Changed my life and 20kg lighter in 6 months For reference that’s 30% of my body weight

Program. Best online training program I’ve used.

Simon. Awesome App! Easy to use, great workouts. Rest periods are set. It guides you each day you workout and sets the workouts, I like I can set the workout time frame to suit the available time I have. My results have been fantastic with this app. Highly recommended!!

Shred App. It’s like having a personal trainer for free! love the app would highly recommend fore anyone.

The most amazing workout app. This is the greatest app. I’ve been on and off in the gym and always doing the same thing because not knowing what to do and this app is amazing as it tells me what to do, how to do it, how long/how much to do it and it makes me wanna be the best that I can be with the social part and being able cheer other people on and getting cheered on by other people. It makes me want to go to the gym and workout.

For all the dads and mums. Great quick app thats cut down the whole thinking of a routine to do when strapped for time with commitments, but when you have time at the gym great workout plans!! Solid app! Have a jam anyways you get seven days to see if it ya thang!!

Amazing!!. Love this app makes me work and gives me results

200 workouts complete. Figure it’s time I left a review since I have now done 200 workouts without a paid subscription. SHRED has taken all the programming and guesswork out of going to the gym and working out at home. I just show up and do the work daily and am very happy with the progress made in strength and physique. The standard workouts push me further than I would push myself, and keep it interesting with a mix of big compound lifts and dynamic supersets for strength and functional movement. The HIIT finishers are also good when you have some left in the tank. I’ve been waiting to get bored with the standard and classic workouts, worried that I’ll eventually have to program for myself but it hasn’t happened yet. This app has taken me from complete beginner to confidently doing all the exercises in 6 months, the tips and videos are just enough to learn the movements. I think this app has the most value for someone with a gym membership, a keen mindset and a tolerance for suffering. Would be good to adjust workouts for a home gym, eg those who don’t have a full rack of dumbbells but do have a rack and barbell etc. Keep up the good work 💪🏼

Probably the best app iv used. This app is honestly so good I’d recommend you all give it a shot

Great app. Great app I’ve tried multiple fitness apps and paid to do so I’ve done Vshred which is absolutely amazing and now the shred app both of which are fantastic the shred app is very easy to use and offers a lot of great and diverse workouts ranging from simple home workouts to complex gym workouts. One of the best features is having people able to cheer you on during a workout which is that added motivation.

Great workout app. Having been using shred for a few months now and love it, but would be great to have some more variety in the kettlebell workouts for being in lockdown as they can get a bit repetitive

Impressive. Really like this app. Great exercises and very user friendly. Can cater for every type of training routine. Nice.

Best free workout app. I’ve been training for 25 years and came across this app about 8 years ago Best free app available Tweak the workouts to suit you and your goals and it takes alot of the mental effort out as it creates new workouts for you Highly recommended for beginners through to advanced 👍

Haphazard sequence of exercises. The exercises seem to be jumbled up all over. Oh end up raising the bench for one dumbbell exercise only to have to lower it for the next, then raise it again. Same with the cable exercises. You spend valuable workout time adjusting heights from top to all the way to the bottom. Then, the duration specified isn’t accurate. It exceeds the time predicted. Looks like these exercises were textbook designed with no thought to practicality. Avoid.

Awesome app. Used it for the first time today and was very happy with how it works. Would be awesome if there was a warm and cool down section though as being a newbie I feel as if I don’t need how to properly prepare myself for and cool down from workouts which could lead to injury, would be good to see this implemented in future.

So many bugs. Common guys, great app but this version is horrible, too many bugs and glitches

App crashing. Has the app starting crashing for anyone else? Won’t load. Have uninstalled/reinstalled, turned phone off etc. help!!

An app for everyone 😊. Need more exercises for beginners and some exercises showed need better lighting

Amazing app!. I love this app it has so many different workouts and you can choose which program suits your fitness level. Another good feature is you can select bodyweight, KB, etc depending on what equipment you have access to. I am stuck at home with only two dumbbells and have still managed to find each workout challenging. Definitely gets your heart rate going and a good sweat on.

Solid workouts. I’ve been training for over 20 years in one way or another so at times have become a bit stale in my exercise choices. This app definitely keeps things interesting with exercises and routines that push me. Solid workouts and good timeframes and rep ranges. Great app!

Amazing!. This workout plan has helped immensely to getting to my goal of being ripped. SHRED deserves awards, because it’s helped me win some. The best plan I have ever used. I will continue to SHRED ON!!!

All the motivation I needed. Loving training again, this app takes all the thinking out of my training and I’m feeling stronger physically and mentally

Best exercise app out!. Started using shred and completely went from a sloppy, slow workout routine to the lean fast paced weights workout I was really looking for. I went from looking big in the wrong places to ripped in all the right ones. Must have app for anyone wanting a jacuzzi body ALL YEAR ROUND!

First use. Still on the free trial so yet to look at the cost. Really good in terms of variety. Shame that you seem to only be able to track the weight used once in a work out. Eg bench at the start I could put the weight in but then couldn’t for other exercises. Having that would make tracking much better. Seems good for free though. Depending on cost for full program I guess would effect the cost to product value.

Shredding Resulte. Best, most intuitive training app I’ve used. A full range of exercise and styles for beginners and experts. Shred is a great gym buddy

Great app, opportunities to improve. Shred is a great app! Although I have a couple of suggestions to make it even better: - estimate calories/kilojoules burned and sync via HealthKit (super important for Apple Watch users) - the minutes exercised syncs but not calories burned - Apple Watch app - preferably as a stand-alone app, or if not a companion to the iPhone as a way to mark each set as complete.

Use this app!. Shred is the best workout app I’ve used by far, and I’ve tried a few. The layout, the content and the features all make it easy to use and give you real guidance for your workouts. The custom workouts feature is great and accommodates for when you need toe squeeze in a quick session or for when you have time to settle in and pace it out. The social features also make you feel connected to a community with the same goals and mentality. Get this app

The Best! Personal trainer in the pocket!!!. Great app, amazing training variety, videos and very easy to use it!

Update stops music. Latest updates stops music constantly when using app.

The best workout app I ever used. I have been doing gym and body exercises for 22 years and I started to use Shred 5 years ago. Loved it so much at that time and became better and better during the years. With Shred you won’t need any pt. Shred supported me during the COVID time with body weight workouts and I stay feet and motivated in all lockdown we had in Sydney Australia. Thanks a lot shred🫶🏻💪🏼

Best workout app out there. I have been looking for a solid workout personal trainer app for a while. This is by far the best free app out there

Really impressed. So I have done many online coaching/ gym apps. And by far this one has been love at first site! Download, use the free trial and it’s all explained. I am so motivated to train ❤️

Worth the $100 Annual Fee!. I’ve tested for weeks other apps giving them all a go, even Chris Hems Centre app, and this Shred app is the best with various levels of working out. The all in one apps with fitness, food diets and more go too far. This app is awesome for your tablet and giving you different exercises at the gym or home. I’ve used it for a year and it’s great to dig into anytime for a workout that’ll leave yah pursing more!

Shred. It’s amazing

Cool app!. I have used the app for the first time today and I like it. I am still figuring out some stuff but it would be nice if I could change the exercise on the fly in case the machine/equipment is being used by some gym hog or an injury prevents you from doing that particular routine. Cheers Shred people!! 👍🏻🍻

Great App. Really good app! only suggestion i would like is a warm up before each session, but other than that its great.

Amazing. Workouts are hard core

Great app!. Super helpful!

So dumb. All I want is a workout app that is free all these apps you have to pay for it’s so stupid!

Kyle Groulx. Dope app

Changed my body. This app is the best thing that has every happened to me! I would use this over the gym any day. It keeps me motivated and it pushes me every day to go the extra mile. I am getting so much stronger every week and losing weight at the same time. My triceps have never had this much muscle and my squats have never been this low. I am so happy I found this app! Thank you so much! :)

Exercise. Great great great thanku shred

Shred. Woow I got nothing to say any workout you need it’s there 💯💯💯

Squat, you must. Looks easy until you do it 😅

This is an amazing app!!. When I tried the 7 day free trial I couldn’t help but sign up for the subscription after. The workouts are intense and after I feel toned and amazing. This app definitely has you sweating. The settings are excellent in that you can pick your pace and whether you are home or at the gym. In just 30 days I’ve notice awesome results. I look forward to what I will see in my body as I continue to use this app. I was new at HIIT workouts and the how to quick videos were a great help. Highly recommend!!

Love it. I am only 28 or 29 workouts in, but I love it. Great app

Long time user. This app is phenomenal. I’ve been using it for many years since they started up and it’s my go to. I’ve tried several other apps and deleted and always come back to this one. They have the best visuals they feed you the best workouts whether you want to do a quickie or a heavy duty in depth workouts they’re all phenomenal, and I always feel amazing after ! I’ve recommended this to all my close friends, and they’re all loyal users as well now too.

Scam. It’s a scam you need to pay annually it’s not free

This is fun. I really enjoy these workouts and it feels hard but gets easier after a bit

Like having a personal trainer!. Love the personalization of the workouts and sequences of the exercises! Awesome work.

One of the best. This is one of the best workout apps I have used. The diversity of exercises that this app offers is unmatched.

Train hard, gain hard. Nice training app! If you are expert or not, this app follow you and adjust what it’s your objectif! If you want to push the hardest you can, be ready…

Amazing app!. Great app. Exactly what I was looking for! They have some great features which help me keep accountability. I’m going to be a member for a long time. 👍

Popping off. Yessir

o m g. when will there be a fitness app without a monthly subscription?? i swear, when they tell me i have a plan set up... boom. right in my face i see the subscription!😑

Shed. Gets you pumped! Love this app! Best one I tried by far!

Not real. This app asks you a couple questions and then: surprise: pay if you want to check the app. Looks like a scam.

Not worth it. Most of this app is just body weight exercises unless you go to bulk which is just the same couple of moves over and over. Really having buyers remorse. If your new to working out this may be ok for you but if your experienced you will find it too basic.

Unreal. Great fast fresh workout

Best workout app so far!. Love this app, workouts are great and constantly changing. Wish it had stretching routines as well.

Huge fan. This app has some great workout routines and scheduling capabilities. I enjoy the stats too because it keeps my mind open to targeting areas I clearly don’t work out as much. I’m only using the free version for the last 5 weeks but I’ve been seeing results and it really has kept me on a routine and accountable. It’s great. I’ll probably get the full version after another month of this.

It’s a scam!. When they say “7 day free trial” don’t believe it. I was charged on Day 1 and haven’t received a refund. Not worth the money. I prefer live workouts online which are easier to follow than this.

Yes! Personal trainer plans.. Going to the gym with a program every workout to get better results. The videos are helpful for reminding you about proper form. It so easily keeps track of my lifts so I can progressively load each exercise for the next workout. Worth the upgrade.

Why won’t it recognize my login!!. I’ve been using Thai app for 3 months and it is the. Eat app out there but all of a sudden after 3 months it won’t recognize my login and password credentials. What the hell is going on!?!? I want someone to get back to my ASAP or I want my money back!

Awesome app but requires a subscription. Great app, I love all the features but they used to not require a subscription and it only gave access to premium features, but now you need a sub for everything. In my opinion it is still worth the subscription though.

Loving this App!. I am loving this app so far. I don’t mind paying for something that has all these features! One thing I recommend for a future update is to incorporate a Landscape mode for iPad users. I have a stand for my iPad that keeps it in landscape, so it sucks to take out every time. With landscape mode you could show what you have to work out next, a timer, a way to add water etc. Lots of options to utilize the space.

Great. This app is amazing it helps me stay motivated and the exercises are easy to keep up

Best workout app out there. Amazing workouts every time

Enjoying but..... Great but fonts could be a little bigger for us visually impaired that don’t want to wear glasses while working out

A must. I only write a review if something is extraordinarily bad or good. This app is fantastic, I (and others ;)) have seen noticeable results over the last year. Highly recommend. My suggestion to the powers that be would be to include a bit more diversity in the circuits, keep things different and exciting. Otherwise love this app.

Shred lifestyle. Love the app! Helps me with my workouts and keeps changing up exercises for me to keep the muscles thinking. Easy to follow with videos if your unsure.

Nice. It’s a good free app

Not free. This is only a 7 day free trial and then the payments start coming out. Don’t be fooled, this is not a free app as stated.

Subscription. How do I cancel my subscription

Great. App is dope. A little lacking on the free version, but clean interface with tons of options and the ability to track workouts. Good stuff

Excellent. I’m really enjoying this app. It does everything for me and shows me the exercises if I don’t know how to do them. One suggestion I have would be to be able to include/add equipment I have on hand (ex: Mini bands, TRX, dumbbells, medicine ball etc.) and generate exercises using this equipment to keep things diverse and avoid getting bored with the same exercises over and over again.

Shred review. Good app, but after a little while of using it for free the workouts change a lot and have different types, should definitely stop that but overall good.

It’s working. I’m using the free mode right now. No complaint and it works great. Yes I’m considering getting a yearly membership but first I want to improve and want to get familiar with the apps Good job to the Shred Team Michel

No response from Support. I tried to register for the free trial and was charged the monthly rate. I contacted support for a refund twice. It’s now been over a week with no response from Shred. I would not feel comfortable purchasing an app with poor support.

Challenging. Be honest about your abilities even if it’s where you think you are...get challenged

Super appli. Seul option manquante à considérer; permettre l’ajout manuel d’un workout. Aussi, la traduction française l’aise à désirer. Aussi bien laisser en anglais. Sinon, rien à dire! Beau travail à toute l’équipe!

Track workouts outside what’s prescribed. It be nice to have the option to track workouts outside what is prescribed by the app.

By Far The Best Workout App!!!. Shred it is by far the best workout app I have ever used. I really like that I can pick 30 minute workouts or 50 minute workouts and that I have the option to change exercises when equipment is it available at my gym. Most importantly, I have a real sense of accomplishment after all my workouts with SHRED. Everyone I have shared this app with both here in Los Angeles and across the country have nothing but great things about the effective of Shred. Oh, one last thing. The video demonstrations on all the exercises are the best I have ever seen on any app as well. That makes a world of difference in really understanding what you’re being asked to do in your work out!!

Changed my life. I was lucky enough to beta test this app and it actually changed not just my body, but the whole way I approach life. I know every single day I have one thing in life that unequivocally I will dominate. I know one hour of the day I will work towards a goal th a directed path to get there, and it actually gets me results. Sometimes the only thing I know in life is that I will Have a good SHRED that day. I can not begin to express without getting emotional how grateful I am to be part of this app. It’s better than any trainer, or any other app. Not only are the workouts far above what else i out there but the digital user face is one of the best apps out there period.

Life Changing. I was someone who never liked going to the gym and would always give up. My boyfriend knew I wasn’t happy with the way I looked and forced me to get Shred and start on day one of getting it. The first week was hard but after that i just continued to grind and see results. It’s been about 9 months and I am in the best shape of my life, down 25 lbs and have never felt better. Such great training that you won’t find just anywhere else and gives you exactly the results you want depending on which you select and if you put the work in. Thanks Shred family!

Awesome App. I’ve been using the very best trainers I could for 25 years. Why do I do that? Because I need the accountability and direction. Working out isn’t my number one goal in life, it’s something I need and have to do. With Shred it’s taken me to a whole new level of fitness. Now with my friends following me I just work harder and the results show. That’s contagious of course which increases the motivation. Also the app shows you how the exercises and workouts should be done. It’s not just going through the motions, it’s doing them with excitement, engagement and precision. What a rewarding, self fulfilling cycle of success. Thanks Shred!

Amazing app!. I have tried many fitness apps. This one takes the cake. So many fitness apps have boring, same old bodybuilding movements. This one features dynamic, interesting, and more athletic movements that really challenge your body. The exercises are constantly evolving so you never get used to them. Many of them are new to me. I love the ability to change from gym to bodyweight modes and to switch between the many different styles of workouts. These workouts are intense. I am sweating from head to toe after I am done. The shred takes every last ounce of effort to complete.

SHRED. Amazing workout app. The app is (almost) the equivalent of having a personal trainer with you at all times. SHRED takes the guess work out of creating a balanced, efficient workout that can be personalized to your specific fitness goals. The interface is sleek and easy to use. Video demonstrations of each exercise make it easy to learn new and unique exercises you may not be familiar with the first time you try. Workouts and rest intervals are timed as well to keep you on task and make the best of your workout. It also keeps track of your workouts motivates you to keep up momentum. It would be tough to find a workout app better than SHRED. Five stars.

Depends How YOU use it.. This app is only good as you use it. I’ve only scratched the surface on this app. However it has already helped a lot. I am suffering from hypertension and Obesity. I have a great set of bands and some other minor equipment at home and this app has helped me use them better. I’ve gotten tired of wasting money on gym memberships. $100 per year versus $29 a month. This makes more sense to me. Especially with the upgrades they keep adding. I use it for body weight training and resistance bands. It gives me a simple plan that is effective. I do wish it would connect with STRAVA, that would a great bonus. If you are limited on time, money and equipment, SHRED is the way to go.

Great app but 1 small change. I absolutely love these app because I do not have to think about what exercises to do when I go to the gym. The only thing I wish was an option is being able to move around exercises. My gym is busy so if I leave a machine to do a different exercise I have to wait to get the machine back. Multiple times it will have me do exercises on the cable machine then the next circuit is some floor stuff then again the cable machine when I could have bunched up two circuits then did floor exercises. If that was an added option this app would be 10/10!!

Amazing. Really really amazing app. I feel better about going to the gym and I feel like my workouts are stronger now. The only thing to watch out for is if your workout has cardio built into it (for example on the lean x program there will be rowing or treadmill exercises in between weights) you cannot choose a preference for cardio. For those that can’t use treadmills they can’t say that within the app and either have to skip that part of the workout or be less effective on other machines because the time and speed isn’t built for other machines (if that makes sense). I tried to go to the cardio section of the app and see if that would work with preferences but it did not change anything.

Game changer app. This is one of the greatest fitness apps I’ve ever used. On my journey of becoming a pro bodybuilder someone recommended this app to me. Before using this app I was getting placed third and second place in competitions and was having trouble getting over the hump of achieving first place. After a few months of guidance from this app, I was able to achieve first place in my latest bodybuilding competition. Whatever level you’re at or your just looking for some new or different variety of workouts, this app has something for you. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Love it!! Has potential!!. I love this app! If you’re like me, I have tried out numerous workout apps, and this one by far has been my favorite! From then different movements to being able to track your progress, even cheer on your peers whenever they start a workout! This entire app is nearly flawless, and it leaves me sore each time I use it, unfortunately I haven’t upgraded to the full edition just yet, but the week free trail makes it so hard not to! Only thing is I wish i could control the app from my  watch to keep me from having to pull out my phone after every workout, but other than that, this app is solid!

Best Workout Ever!. Shred is the most advanced and intuitive workout guide I’ve ever been exposed to in my life. I’m an avid gym goer and have always geared my workouts towards improving my strength, muscle mass and always wanting that ‘shred’ appearance. This app has transformed my body and improved my overall confidence in the gym and overall aesthetically. I’m able to go into the gym, open Shred and sweat my *** off knowing I’m ripping muscle, growing and strengthening my body without having to carry a notebook or document my workouts archaically. This app is good for beginners, moderate gym goers, cross fit enthusiasts and your day-to-day gym user. If you want to challenge yourself and get to your desired fitness goals, Shred will elevate you to the NEXT level.

Amazing!!. Fantastic workout app. The best I’ve seen. The free version is more than enough for casual workout enthusiasts just looking to stay in shape and don’t really know how to make an effective workout plan themselves. If you have a preferred workout style or a specific goal in mind, the paid subscription is amazing and reasonably priced. My one request is some way to look at current and possibly past maxes for exercises without having to see it in a workout. Also, maybe a benchmark every few weeks, with a one or three rep max of some of the core power/Olympic lifts to help measure growth. Overall this app is incredible and I recommend it to everyone that’s looking for a good workout.

Great Workouts. The app takes care of the splits and mixes up the exercises so the muscles get worked slightly different so you don’t get used to the same movements. I am sore after each workout. With the Basic, there is no way to alter the history. I’ve forgotten to hit Done, so it gets doubled up on the next workout. Also, there is no way to control all the exercises. If you go to custom and hit Chest you only have the Tru’s as the other option. When I do legs I do Strait Legged Deadlifts; but they cannot be added in. Ditto for back days, I will do Strait Legged occasionally if I I mixed in Deadlifts on leg day. This app has also given me a lot of new exercises. Very good app. Lose one Star for flexibility.

Better than a gym. I’ve been using the app / workouts for about two months. I have played many sports (football, soccer, basketball, martial arts, cycling and of course weight training) most of my life. At 53 I still like to take care of myself and have tried going back to the “traditional gym”. I just don’t want to push heavy weights around anymore and was looking for something different. This app fits my schedule anytime anywhere and when I first started using it I thought some of the body weight workouts were a joke. Boy was I wrong!!!!!! At this phase of the game I truly enjoy body weight workouts over using equipment. Thanks for a great product!

This should be #1 from far. I have tried an immense amount of workout apps available for iOs and none has been even close in terms of quality, customization, and adaptability as Shred. Unlike almost everyone else in this market they have an extremely generous amount of cycling workouts with or without equipment for you to do within the free version and an added layer of even more quality and options if you decide to subscribe. Don’t even think twice if you’re tired of the schemes going around online that don’t help you get fit, Shred is the best app ever and the results will quickly be visible.

Fantastic app, game changer.. I started using this app over four years ago and I can absolutely say it is the best workout app I’ve ever used, I can’t imagine going to the gym without it. When I was first starting out I loved how guided the workouts were, with helpful videos and tips for each exercise. As I progressed in my fitness I really started to appreciate the variety of workouts on the app and how customizable it is, whether at home or at the gym. The app does a nice job rotating exercises so you’re not always doing the same thing. These days I alternate between the athlete, bulk and kettlebell workout styles, and have seen amazing results. I feel healthier than ever.

Best workout app I’ve found thus far. Pros: -choose a gym or body weight workout -programmed timer -you can still play your music -choose your type of workout based on goals -video of each workout unlimited plays -input the weight you use for each workout -basically a personal trainer but you don’t have to talk to them... -motivation quotes for each rest period -choose what muscle group and the option of cardio or ‘shred’ after your workout -choose the length of each workout (great for busy days) -go at your own pace!!!! Many workout videos are paced way too face for some of us and especially when sore Cons: -Workout videos sometimes are laggy and slow to start -wish it told you a round about on what weight Amt to use based on how many more reps and sets but probably does once you input your abilities, progress and weight chosen as it goes on (I have only used it twice) -costs money (but what doesn’t these days and your health is worth it!)

Incredibly affective and impressive app.. Wow!! Finally the fantastic fitness app I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried many of these over the past couple years and this is by far the most in-depth, well structured and helpful program Ive come across. And for somebody who trains as much as me and keeps up to date with what’s out there that’s saying a lot. I’ve already been using this for a while now and not only is it addictive and fun but it really really works. As long as you keep at it and keep exploring all of the many workouts/programs this app has to offer you’ll get incredible results. I’d highly recommend this app to anyone who’s ready to take that step towards a healthier, more fit lifestyle.

Favorite Workout App! But..... Shred is one of the most comprehensive workout apps I’ve ever found. I’ve subscribed to it for over a year now and it’s turned me into one of those guys in the gym I used to envy, The ones who really look like they know what they’re doing and weren’t wasting any time. One glaring problem I see though (and why I didn’t give it five stars) is that it doesn’t provide any guidance for warm-ups or stretching. The app itself tells you how important these things are for your overall health but leaves it at that. I think a monthly subscription app that claims to be a complete workout solution should provide stretching or warmup plans that will benefit that days workout.

Love, some elements to consider.. Great app. The only items that would really take it to the next level is the option to change the reps if you end up doing more or less in the circuit or lift, or add an additional round, or skip a lift or circuit if not in the mood to do it, and/or replace an entire circuit that you don’t enjoy doing with one you prefer. Also, wish they offered the option to create your own workout by searching and adding different workouts. Regardless, it’s my favorite work out app and has a mix a variety and also great workouts and videos. Those additional features above would take it to the next level.

It’s like having a personal trainer for way less!. I love this app! I’ve been strength training for a long time. I’ve trained with personal trainers and also done CrossFit. This app gives me the same instruction as a trainer. I don’t necessarily need someone there to provide verbal encouragement but if you do, this app can do that for you too. I recommend this app to anyone beginner to pro but especially to those somewhere in between who generally know what strength training is, have some experience, maybe fell off for a while and got rusty (like I did) and can’t afford a new trainer to help get them back on track. Amazing app and so worth the money.

Great app. It would be an awesome app if the reps and time were compared to the last set of equal value. In other words if I did 40 mountain climbers in 30 seconds, then the next time I do mountain climbers for 30 seconds I would see the 40 reps....not the reps for the shorter time. Also some of the videos don’t match the exercise and some of exercises that require reps only give you the option for pounds....On a positive note I feel this is a great app for the money and definitely pushes you outside your comfort zone. The option for alternate exercises, times, and types of workouts allows the user to customize/personalize his or her workout!

Best Training App Ever. This app is incredible. As someone who has tried many apps and programs this literally has it all. From an amazingly simple platform, to guided exercises and incredible variety, this is the next best thing to a trainer. It’s perfect for keeping me motivated and on track in the gym. As someone who travels a lot, there’s tons of variety and even the ability to do workouts in my room. The levels are insane (in the best way). My body is never comfortable, it’s kept guessing and is challenged at every point and in every workout. Truly incredible- get it and you’ll never have to plan a workout on your own again. 50 stars if I could!

Needs minor fixes, overall great app. This app is great, I love it. I do have some recommendations that would improve it drastically. First, you really gotta incorporate weight recommendations. If I’m doing bulk, it should recommend me weight for every set of every exercise and then I tell it if it was too hard or too easy and it learns and gradually progressive overloads. Another recommendation, which is very needed and easy to implement is the option to allow us to see full workouts during the workout. I’m in the middle of a workout and I have no idea how many more sets Im gonna be doing or how many more circuits are coming up. Please fix this! Great app!

Changing the GAME. I’ve been searching for a workout app like this for Years! Finally the app we all deserve in the gym - and it’s much more than just an app. Shred is like having a personal trainer on hand, and its videos of movement and explanations of technique increase confidence, courage and performance while working out. I love how it keeps my week on track and If I miss a day with my busy schedule, I can pick back up where I left off or I can tailor my work out with categories that work for me and my goals that week (though it’s hard to miss a day, Shred stays on you) Shred is a trainer, a community, a motivator and the workout app that will change your life. Get it!

Excellent Workouts!. I have tried a couple different workout apps, but I have to say that they really don’t compare to SHRED. You can set your personal settings (weight, height, build... etc.) like most workout apps, but it is really built around the individual. Giving different levels and intensities for your benefit and placement of the workout (I mean, upper, abs, lower, full body.) This is also great when you have no workout equipment and would rather not go to a gym, although, it has the options for the gym too. You can connect with friends and trainers to encourage (or cuss) at you to keep you motivated. Thanks!

Athlete + Computer programming = Dope app SHRED. I’ve been using Shred for over a year now. I love that you can input different styles like “bulk” or “dynamic” (there’s more styles). You can also toggle between “home” and “gym” workouts. You can even set an estimated time for your workout. If you only have about 30 min to spare, you can still get a good workout. I love the HIIT sessions. They’ve even added the ability to track your hydration, which is super dope because I’ve been aiming to drink more water and Shred really helps me keep track of that. Personally, I believe this app is for everyone. The fee is 100% worth it. You won’t regret downloading this app. I’ve found nothing like it, ever.

I finally enjoy the gym again!. I was the typical gym rat in my late teens-early 20’s. I took a 1.5-2 year break to focus on my degree, and would go back to the gym only on occasion. I’d find myself becoming bored and trying to find the slightest excuse to leave early. A friend recommended this app to me and it changed everything! I truly enjoy lifting again and look forward to my next work out. I’ve been using the app for nearly three weeks and am already down 4 pounds this month. I really like being able to choose between picking a bulking, athletic, classic, or “toning” style. Do not hesitate to give Shred a try!!!

Addicted. As a girl the gym can be intimidating, with this app I walk in with a plan. I finally got my pre-pregnancy body back. Being a new mom with a full time job, I found it hard to be creative and keep my body guessing. This app gave me a new outlook on working out. I love that I can pick the length and style and sometimes when I can’t make it to the gym—there is a body weight option too! I am so thankful I was able to beta test this app. I even stopped seeing my trainer; I went from 2 good sessions a week to 4-5 great sessions a week. I can’t imagine going to the gym without it.

Changed my Workouts Completely. I’ve never written a review on any app, restaurant, or business of any kind but felt I had to write one for Shred. My workouts were getting monotonous and boring and I felt like after two months of working out I might quit. Thankfully, I found the Shred app and now I’m doing exercises I didn’t even know existed. My time in the gym goes by much faster than before and the functionality of the app is unbelievable and easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone who may feel like they don’t know exactly what to do at the gym or want to reinvigorate their workouts.

Love It. Shred is a fantastic app to help you get in shape and stay motivated! It’s like having a personal trainer available to you at a moments notice. The guided training helps you stay on track and takes the guess work out of what exercises to do for specific muscle areas. If you don’t know how to perform the exercise they show you with a video. The free version is great with the classic workouts which I did for years because I was concerned with the cost but now as a premium user with the additional guided workouts available I wish I had changed earlier. Thank you Shred team for a great product and keeping us all shredded!

Great App. I’ve been using SHRED for a little over 2 years now and I LOVE it! I found myself hitting plateaus and not switching up my routines often. So I browsed applications and started with the free trial. In that week I noticed a difference and enjoyed the fact I was getting new workouts that I normally wouldn’t have done on my own. I paid for the annual subscription and have seen a substantial increase in my muscle growth, endurance, and overall confidence. On days I don’t have access to the gym, it’ll provide work from home options with body weight exercises that really do the trick. I can’t recommend this app enough for those looking to switch things up.

Missing one key feature. Overall the app is great. Love the notifications when your rest time is over, the fact that it tracks your reps and weight from previous workouts, and that you can sub different exercises if there isn’t an option of you to do a particular exercise. But the lack of being able to create your own custom workout is a huge negative for this app. There are plenty of free apps that actually allow you to create your own custom workouts and pick and choose your own exercises. They custom workout on this app on allows you to select the body parts and it generates the workout. I wish this feature would be added especially when there is a database of exercises already created within the app.

The workout app for me. One of the strengths of this app for me is the flexibility. Whether I can make it to the gym or not I can stay consistent with my workouts. There is enough variety to keep things interesting and I never get discouraged not debating what I should do next. Being able to move a circuit while at the gym is helpful as well, since so often the equipment is in use. When equipment is in use you often have the option of doing an alternate exercise as well. This is the only app I’ve been successful at staying consistent and I believe it’s because of all of the small but important features the app provides.

Best workout app in the app store!. I downloaded like 3-4 different workout apps and this was the most intensive and personable app. There are a variety of exercises and techniques to help you reach your own unique goal. Thing is you don't even have to pay off you don't want, "classic" workouts are available for free. Only suggestion I can make is the addition of stair climber exercises in the cardio section. Another suggestion would be the addition of voice overs when working out. Maybe explaining the exercise, helpful tips, or even the number of reps or a recommended weight.

Great app, make sure tracking carries over. I love this app, I’ve been using it for a year now and it’s great. You can get a solid workout with anything you have access to - I’ve just had dumbbells for a year now, no gym access, and I’ve still crushed it. They recently releases classes which are dope but they do not progress your stats/days in the “training” section. Recommendation would be if you do a leg day class, it progresses your sets in the training section to make it more dynamic to switch between classes and regular training regimens

One word: AMAZINGGGGG!!!!. I will recommend this app to everyone any day! I'm used to working out with the guys at my job, and since I'm not there anymore I lost all motivation because I just simply did not know what to do! So I went on the search for an app to help and one mind just said "get shred" and do I did!!! Not disappointed at all and my trainer Adam DID NOT FAIL TO DELIVER! Be it classic, CrossFit, athletic whatever, I can choose what I want to do and for how long. Plus if I can't do one workout, I can choose an alternative. This is just pure awesomeness! The gym is now my baby! GET THIS APP

Beginner’s Dream. This is the fitness app I have been searching for throughout the years. I always felt uncomfortable going to the gym because I kind of know what to do, but overall I felt like a fish out of water. SHRED gives you the step-by-step tools to go to the gym with confidence. The app gives you a clear path of what to work on each day based on what type of body you are looking to get and then shows you HOW to do all of the workouts, how many of each to do, and even counts the amount of time you should break in between reps. I can’t speak highly enough of this app and highly recommend!

Life-changing. I’ve been using this app for years, and I can honestly say that it’s changed my life. I tried a few other workout apps recently to see if there was anything better, and there was nothing that could beat Shred, especially now it has Apple Watch capabilities. The workouts are interesting (unlike two other apps I tried) and I can cater them just enough to what I’m looking for (unlike two more apps I tried), and are useful from the living room, hotel “gyms”, and actual gyms. Just so much better than any other app I’ve found.

Great app!. Love it so far. Due to work schedule, I don’t want to spend the time at 430am to figure out my workout. This app has provided a great plan dependent on my selections and adjusts on the fly due to changing time constraints. My request would be the option to change number of reps completed when in an exercise. The app gives you a set number of reps to be done, but if you’re pushing and can’t complete the whole set, there doesn’t seem to be an option to adjust the number of reps actually completed. I understand that to mean they want you to adjust the weight and get the required number of reps, but I want to accurately record my workout if that occurs. Great app and keep up the awesome work!

Love this app. I never write reviews.. but I love this app so much I had to write and tell people that this app is the best workout app I have ever tried. I’ve been going to the gym off an on for years and I would always get stuck because I didn’t have a solid variety of workouts, I would forget which weights I was at, I wouldn’t know what to work out next, etc... this app solves all those problems. It’s easy to use. The app tells you what you should workout that day, you can log the weight you are at for progressive overload, and I never run out of new things to do. If you are looking for a fitness app.. download immediately you won’t regret it.

Best workout app ever. Really an amazing app. When I broke my ankle I was trying alternate ways to stay in shape since I’m a runner/cardio person, and this app gave me a lot of good alternatives to do just that. Even better, if you have limited gym equipment or don’t have a gym nearby, there are always choices for different exercises as well as body weight workouts. The explanatory videos are also great for someone like me that just started lifting and am not familiar with most of the exercises. I’ve been seeing a lot of personal improvement and this app gave me the ability to not get discouraged by my situation and stay in shape. Thank you!

Changed My Life. I’ve been working out on my own for years, but have always struggled with finding a good program. Until Shred. It’s fully customizable, demonstrates every exercise, and breaks the workouts down into convenient groups. No more holding down a machine, a bench, and dumbbells at the same time. The app plans out my workout every day so I can wake up and head straight to the gym without having to plan out my routine. I’m able to train harder and more consistently because everything else is so much easier. Nothing else I’ve tried has come close because this is simply the best training app you can use.

Solid but could benefit from UX tweaks. Kudos to the art team, gorgeous well-branded app and design that could use a couple features. 1. Should able to change reps if need be 2. Not intuitive how to change weights, had to hunt for it 3. Difficult to go back or cancel. Example, finished first workout and I ended up doing suggested cardio. I decided to take a look at what Shred was immediately after. Once I clicked on it there was no intuitive way to go back or close out of it and see my workout stats. Perhaps I missed something? 4 I chose intense workout for the coach. Not sure but is it supposed to be a voice coach or is it simply the text prompts?

Great App but minor issues.. I love this app and truly feel like it has changed my approach to working out. Every workout has been different and difficult. Which is why it’s perfect! However, there should be a way you to change rep count so if I went below or above the suggested reps. It can be changed. Also, there should be a voice over coach during the workout. Saying “You got this” “Push yourself” etc. The only issue I have had is that the notification doesn’t work well if my phone is locked. I occasionally get one or two but after that it won’t make a sound or send to my Apple Watch.

Perfect App for first time Gym members. One of the many reason why I wouldn’t join a gym is because I wouldn’t know what to do!! What sets, reps, machines to use. And if you try going alone, it’s even worse if you don’t have direction. You look online for certain workouts and then try to plug them in but don’t want to keep looking at it in the gym on your phone without looking confused. This app has transformed my lifestyle. Now I love going to the gym even alone. Because I have a game plan. Give this a try and you will like it. It walks you thru the sets and also shows you how to use the machines. This app makes me feel like I left everything I had at the gym. And feeling great.

No like in on the market!!!. I’m a NASM Certified and former Equinox tier 3 trainer with 12 years experience in the business. I was lucky enough to try this app in its Beta stages and have seen it progress into the most comprehensive, complete and user friendly workout app out there. The setup is extremely easy to do. Takes only a minute and you’re given a workout designed specifically for what equipment, time, intensity and goals you have. Not to mention all the coaching tools and built in community of other shred users to motivate, inspire and keep you on track. This app is on a whole new level!

Autopilot for workouts!. I love this app. The guided workouts by muscle group make it easy to not have to think about what you're doing day by day. Lets you pick how much time you have and which muscle group you want to work and it does the rest. The tracking is great for progress. And I love you can tell it what equipment is available to you. Also the flexibility of "equipment in use right now" which pivots you to something else is handy in the gym. I've lost 10 pounds (covid) and regained my muscle definition since I started relying on the app!

Lots of filler but lacking in some aspects. I’ve been using the app for about a year, and although it’s been great in many ways the improvements are just not as useful or important as I’d like. For example, STILL no Apple Watch integration (has been in development since I started using the app). The routines don’t vary as much as I’d expect, with the same workouts within each style. Plus, you can’t exclude exercises based upon equipment (for anyone moving around gyms) you can only choose a different exercise which further limits the variety of workout. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed the app, it’s kept me motivated and using it far longer than other apps... but I think it’s time to try something different after 12 months of the same thing. Maybe I’ll come back when I see different routines to try.
