Horrible - as all Sprint products and service. Got this for my teenage daughter’s car. For the first few months it worked great, then it started glitching from time to time, until about 6 months into a 2 year contract it’s become completely unreliable. When the car is parked in the garage the app will say that it’s driving at 81 mph, when it’s driving and you can see it moving on the map, it will say that it’s parked. Trip history is completely inaccurate, for example today it says the trip started at 10:55 and has been in progress for over 5 hours and that the car has been idle for over 4 hours, as if it’s just been continuously running - and right now the car is Parked! Sprint, as usual, has been awful about troubleshooting and service in general. They basically told me that if it doesn’t work I need to buy a new one, there is no warranty unless I bought one on the purchase date. I can’t say enough about how unhappy I am with this product and Sprint in general.

Cool device. I like this device and it’s potential. The app, however, is in dire need of improvements. I changed vehicles, it would not let me add a second vehicle. You can not use the device on multiple vehicles and if you have a daily driver, and a weekend special, you will have to delete and reinstall every time. I tried the “Add Vehicle”, I get an error message stating that there is already an account with this email address. I refuse to buy a second device to use on a vehicle that stays in my garage and is only used on weekends if the weather is nice. When I switched to a newer vehicle that has only 50,000 miles on it, apparently I’ve already completed all the oil changes and tire rotations through 155,000 miles. Needs to be a way to reset those categories. Yes, it still gives me reminders when they are due. The map drives me crazy. Needs to be a way to keep the position dot centered and have the map move underneath. The dot moves off the map and you have to keep tapping the screen to bring it back to center, defeating the hands free safety law. If there is a way to do that in the settings, I can not find it. I have other issues with the app, but they are insignificant and I can live with them.

Love it but needs improvement. I’ve had the Sprint Drive for 2 weeks now. I drive an older car so it’s a great reassurance for me that my car’s mechanical health is fine, I’ve had major repairs prior to Sprint Drive, and I get apprehensive at times that my car isn’t performing correctly. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars is because of two reasons. 1. It doesn’t tell me the gas percentage of my car whereas it does in my boyfriend’s car. 2. I’ve gotten numerous notifications saying my car may be towed, while I’m driving it. 10/10 would recommend Sprint Drive

Great relief for worried parents. I installed this in my daughters car to monitor her. So glad I did, I can tell when she’s driving too fast or having any difficulties. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was bc when she broke down on the side of the highway, it was waaaayyyy too difficult to get through to a roadside assistance rep (almost 2 hours no exaggeration). And then when we did she transferred us to the towing company and hung up. The towing company told us that in order to verify the tow would be covered by sprint drive the rep from sprint drive should have stayed on the phone. That took another 45 min. The rep did apologize about how long it took to answer saying she was the only rep on duty for the whole U.S. which sounds crazy but yeah. Good solid service but they need more reps.

Works great. I’ve been using for several months and have not had any issues. I’ve used a similar product, Automatic, and this does not have some of its features such a crash response. Having a data hotspot always with you makes up for any features it lacks. My wife and I have one in each of our cars and we can send each other our location through the app if needed. Well worth $20 bucks per month if you have kids that cannot be away from the internet.

This is pretty cool. This would be awesome if it worked with IFTTT and Alexa. Any movement in the vehicle without ignition results in a notification for “possible disturbance”. Parking with the front wheels downhill results in “possible tow” — it’d be nice if these push notifications had some teeth. Why not turn on a Nest outdoor cam near the driveway, maybe turn some lights on — maybe get an announcement from a voice assistant at home? There’s a ton of untapped potential here. The device could remain the same, but the app could run in the background and handle these functions. Still, that’s the early-adopter penalty for nascent technology. Overall, I love the detailed reports, availability of roadside assistance and in-car WiFi. This has made for the perfect stereo interface — an Echo Dot, in the car. That can also give you a method for outbound calling during a GPS-guided trip — or enabling WiFi calling on phones that can’t data and voice at the same time. It’s pretty awesome and well worth it for $30/mo or $25 with AutoPay. I think the unit’s somewhere around $120 — I’ll probably pay it off early to keep a more tidy bill. I also wonder if anyone’s hooked this up to a car battery and an old ECU to use for home Internet. LOL

Saves me every time!!!. This little device is a life saver! Every time my engine light comes on- I know the issue before I have to take it to the shop! It helped me learn that I needed a new catalytic converter a few months after I purchased this used truck. All of the check Engine light issues have been diagnosed by my sprint drive! I’m so grateful for it. It’s also a wifi device so that helps with long car rides (for the kiddo’s entertainment!) sadly it’s being phased out by a new device from T-Mobile. Glad I got mine when I did!

Problems from the start. Followed all directions to get app installed and when registration steps failed for over a month I gave up. The drive still worked in other words it did produce a hotspot. I tried to register again three months later using same steps this time it worked. Well some what. My first task was to change the default SSID and password following directions, it failed! I can’t use the app slide bar to turn the WiFi off which is what I’ve wanted to do to prevent apps on connected devices running in the background thereby using up data. The slide bar/button is yellow. Can ping it from computer but can’t log into it’s web browser to make necessary changes. App does not work properly!! Support for device or is lacking. No excuses, this should work as advertised, it doesn’t!!!!

better than onstar for parents with teen drivers. I can see real time where they are, and also i can see their top speed for the last several driving cycles. this app gives me great big eyes on what they are doing and where they are and were. the fuel tank monitoring is good but it will tell me they are low and the guage in the cars is reading 1/2 a tank. butbit is still helpful as i can tell when they fill up.

Very good to have. The sprint drive is a very nice device to have in your vehicle number one for the road side assistance because you never know when you may need assistance also if you anyone else to drive your vehicle you can track your vehicle and always know where it is if need be I also love the fact that your car is a mobile hot spot you get 4G LTE data in your vehicle as well as mechanical diagnostics and so much more it’s definitely having!!

Sprint drive. Excellent my truck was stolen and I was able to take the police to the exact house. They had it in the garage but I was able to see that it was pinging on my phone the police asked to open garage door and there it was. The only damage was my shifter. They couldn’t figure out how we where able to find them within 15 min.. They kept blaming each other!!!! Loved the look on there faces!!!

Great app and very useful. Let me start by saying I love this app. It allows me to see information about my car that would otherwise be hidden to me. My only gripe is that the sales representative flat out lied to me at the store when I was there. I entered Sprint on memorial ave West Springfield looking for a new case and phone for my girlfriend. The sales rep indicated that they had a new program that was free to sign up for and use. The very next month after this visit my bill has gone up almost 30$ will no credit added. I will be going down to sprint to fix this. Rather inconvenient to have to fix something the rep had promised me. Been a sprint customer for over 14 years and I would not recommend any other wireless carrier. However, I do expect to be fully reimbursed for any charges applied to my bill regarding the sprint drive device.

Great but.... It will accurately track your vehicle and provide you various statistics. I also like the fact that it will read the codes when the check engine light comes on (I haven’t had a chance to test this). Also 4 AAA visits a year are helpful. I could see this being used for tracking younger drivers or a fleet for a business. Need to work on a couple things. I have noticed the tow indicator comes on at random times. Not sure but I typically pull through or back into parking spots. It may be because of that but not sure. Recently, I have noticed that the alert comes on that it has been unplugged. Not sure where that stems from when no one is in or around the vehicle.

Can’t say enough positive things.. I was upgrading my phone when I came across the Sprint Drive device at my local store. The employee talked me into immediately, I’ve had a lot of car trouble in the past and I have a sick mother who I like to keep an eye on. Sprint drive is simple to install yourself and the app is even easier to navigate. It constantly keeps me updated on my cars location, my amount of gas, battery power and many more important things. Aside from constantly monitoring my car I also get access to AAA when I have a problem such as a dead battery, a flat tire, or if I’m in need of a tow. My only complaint is that sometimes it can’t always read the car. It’ll send me notification saying I have no gas when I’m at a half tank or that I may be in need of a tow when something else is read wrong. It doesn’t happen often and it seems like it’s gotten used to my car so I’m hoping it was just a starting off thing. Anyways, the app is amazing, effortless, and so very useful. I’d recommend the product and app to anyone with a car.

Great app. Has more information than the T-Mobile SyncUp drive I used previously. The one critique I have is the vehicle list is incomplete. I have a 2012 Kia Optima hybrid and the adapter identified by vehicle as a hybrid. However, when you manually select the hybrid model the year starts at 2015. It would seem that some vehicles are missing from the model list. Other than that, great starting point for a new device and app and looking forward to seeing what it develops into! Thanks Sprint!

WiFi settings. So far I have four devices. All working. Now, I would like to have full control of the WiFi but that is not the case. I turn it off and once the car restarts, WiFi restarts as well, and once again, WiFi automatically re-enables itself. That hints anyone inside of the car, or outside, that it is being monitored. If I turn it off I would like for it to remain off until I decide otherwise. Can developers make it possible? Thanks!

Life Savor. I bought the Sprint Drive for my 2 cars. Well, I had to get the app. Well, it came in handy one night when I was coming home from work. My check engine light came on and my car started to act funny and my car died. Well, I used the app to see what was wrong. It was my transmission. A computer part in the transmission failed. I was about to see what’s wrong on the spot using the app. Along with it I was able to call for roadside assistance and they knew where I was because it shows where my car is using my phone gps through the app.

Consistent & Reliable. Fast. Functional. Has never not worked since June 2019. Also nice to have wifi in the car. I hope this app never changes. It is great for overbearing/untrusting/authoritative/micromanager parents and partners, not to mention all you paranoid potential victims of GTA without car insurance who think justice and revenge are synonymous. I love this app!

Shows offline / car parked in another area. Have over a year and half works perfectly good. Now it shows Offline/Parked in another area but car is now at a different location. There’s a delay for some reason (like Huge Delay) As well as Car widget does not show on the map itself on the Sprint Drive App :-( Will change my rating once this is fix but overall absolutely love this gadget

It’s not bad. So I’ve had this sprint drive for a while now and I’m not gonna lie I kinda like it it tells me some things about my car and it also told me what was wrong with the car. So I had a misfire in my car and I changed the spark plugs and my check engine light turned off and it drives good now but the sprint drive will still tell me everyday that my car has “2 issues found” from when my car had the misfire but it doesn’t have it now and it still tells me, I tired disconnecting it and putting it back in but it really didn’t seem to work so I just have to ignore it but to be honest other than that I would say having these are worth it

❤️ SprintDrive. I love it. I have internet access while traveling, which gives me tv and entertainment. I move it to my Harley and it gives me navigation and maps. I can keep an eye on my cars when they’re publicly parked. It also lets me know how my car is operating. If I loan my car to a friend, I know where they went and what time they were there. So worth a few bucks a month.

Disappointed. I would love to be able to actually use the app, however upon my first use I registered my email and created a password and it won’t let me log in at all, it keeps bringing me right back to the homepage to sign in or sign up. Very frustrating! I even hit forgot password and it takes me to another page to put my email in and the page won’t even load!! Is this a sign???

Sprint Drive. I love it. I definitely would recommend that anyone else to get this device. It's amazing. Keeps you safe by alerting emergency contact/s in the situation if you have a wreck n no one was there to help or know where you are. This is the best thing possible for anyone to have to keep safe and sound. Great to have also when you have children and they are starting to drive 👍

No insurance discount.. I went to my local Sprint store to have a wireless device serviced. The Sprint rep told me about a eligible promotion I have for Sprint Drive. It is a car plug in that monitors you driving and gives you a number grade among other great features like turning you vehicle into a WiFi hotspot. AAA car service is a limited plus with 15mile towing and other discounted services. A must for parents who have young drivers on the road. Comes installed with gps monitoring. The major sales pitch from the Sprint rep was up to 30% off my Progressive auto insurance bill. After activating the device, I notified Progressive about the Sprint service and they will not give me a discount on my bill unless I buy their vehicle plug in for vehicle monitoring. The Sprint ad states Progressive gives up to 30% off of your insurance bill well in fact, they offer me 0%. Awesome device. I probably will return it since I will not be getting a discount on my insurance

Love it. I’ve had this unit for about three years. Just about three months ago my door handle broke on my van and I found myself locked out of it. One quick call and they had someone on their way to unlock the van. Because I was in a very remote place it took a few hours but sure enough help arrived and I was on my way.

Sprint Coverage. With the car Sprint wi-fi my phone would not drive the Apple car play. I could not get any navigation on Waze, Apple Maps, or Google maps because in Brookville, FL on Suncoast Parkway toll road there is no coverage. I was driving without navigation until I thought through the issue and turned the Sprint wi-fi off on my phone and went back to Verizon cell coverage.

Needs adjustments but great concept. So I got this device a few weeks ago to keep track of my teenager. The first thing I noticed is that I have been unable to turn on the notification for if the device is removed. I don’t care for that. In attempting to resolve this I contacted sprint and they had me unplug it and now it’s asking me to re register the device and then it says it’s stolen. So I’m unable to use it at all now. The customer service department doesn’t seem very familiar with the troubleshooting as it is still new. When it has worked, it tells me exactly where my son is, when he left, when he arrives home. I am able to set up alerts to notify me when he is in the vicinity of a certain area. I have a curfew set for him and he is also able to use it as a hot spot. I like that it tells me when he is idling and keeps track of vehicle health and gas. I was able to tell my son his car was overheating as well as keep an eye on how low he lets the gas get! Overall pretty good, I just want it to work again!

Good for Ride Share drivers. The app/device have some issues. It regularly tells me I am making sharp turns. Often when turning into my neighborhood (off a state highway to an uphill street) and when turning into my parking spot at my house (I usually back in to park.) It also loves to tell me I have 10% or less fuel when my gage still is at 1/4 tank. For ride share drivers this is a good amenity for you to advertise to your passengers that you have WiFi available for their use while in your vehicle. Many don’t care, need or use it, but the few that do make it worthwhile.

Great App!. Exceptionally easy and very helpful. Our car was stolen one night. Thankfully we had this app we called the police and was able to recover our car within 10 mins of it being gone. The app also told us when our battery died and when there was a mechanical problem. This was definitely a need in our lives and we didn’t know it until something happened. Will recommend this to everyone 👍🏽

App isn’t accurate. I’ve had this device for about 5-6 weeks. In the beginning it worked very well but now it doesn’t show accurate parking locations (when I’m at work it says my car is at home and vice versa). Also it doesn’t always show the car when on the move - which defeats the purpose of tracking the teenager in my home while he is driving. I’m giving it one more month and then I’ll have to return it if there are no improvements. That’s a total shame because I was really sold on the “value” of it but it just doesn’t give the help it’s designed to give. Thus far it’s one thumb down for me 👎😓

Horrible. When this device works, which has been for about an hour out of the week I’ve had it, it’s nice. Gives you a lot of useful information. HOWEVER, It rarely works. I had me parked in the middle of the highway and apparently I always go 41 MPH because that’s all it shows. Start times on my trips are NEVER right and never has the correct updated position on the map. I’ve checked the app when I’ve been home for about an hour and it still has me at the light by my house. It’s ridiculously off that’s it’s not even usable. Will be returning the first chance I get.

Sprint Drive. I love my Sprint Drive and how easy the app is. We had it when we drove down to Florida, and it was perfect, it kept the kids connected on their tablets, and kept the stops to a minimum. In addition, a local repair shop said our vehicle had issues, yet they unplugged our drive. We were notified immediately and was able to call out the shop. Saved us lots of money!!!

Great tool. I have two Sprint Drive devices, love the product such a great tool for consumers at a low cost compared to what your auto insurance company offers for safe driving features (with risk of payments increasing) and also what your car manufacturer offers if you have a vehicle with built in mobile hotspot. Only complaint i have is the device keeps telling me a disturbance has been detected or the occasional device has been detached, but i know fact neither has happened. But overall very satisfied with the product and app.

A little buggy. Simple design. I am working on adding power to one of my vehicles, it has a misfire in Cylinder 3, when I moved the device to a Ford Ranger, I kept getting the notifications of a misfire, and that I only had 14% then 7% of gas left on a full tank. The actual application mentioned the correct reading. It also does not track the gas mileage on the Ford but does on my BMW. No seeming way of contacting the developers of the app.

Fixes needed ASAP. “You cannot change WiFi hotspot settings unless your engine is running” is a persistent message I get when trying to change the settings regardless of whether or not my car is running. Can be pretty useful if little functionality bugs are paid close attention to and worked on quickly. Kind of disappointed in the apps functionality and flow. There’s lots of potential to be more intuitive than this but it’s just not being reached.

Great product. I can not say on how much I love sprint drive. My wife and son love the fact they can bring their portable gaming system and connect them to WiFi. And I’m in love with having our family vehicle scanned and be notified on what’s wrong. GPS tracking is also a key or at least should be because I have my moments where I forget where I parked at the mall. Thank you sprint for a great product.

New update. Edit: added the color options, but doesn’t work with the desktop/website version. Some of the older color options are gone so if you have purple on the website, it’s yellow in the app. And if you choose gray or white in the app, it’s black on the website. Plus it’s still buggy. The colors don’t “stick” they switch between yellow and the color you picked. One great add was an easier way to switch between vehicles (one added star for that). New update has some major flaws. Practically unusable right now. The app before had flaws that were slowly fixed but now it’s like starting all over again. Half the time, vehicles won’t “load”. Can’t change vehicles easily, where the vehicle name is at, it only gives the option to add another instead of switching. No more color options on app. It’s like watching the Uber app and not being able to differentiate between vehicles. Definitely needs work. Will update review if it changes.

Sprint Drive. The Sprint Drive is great. No complaints with the overall quality it offers. But, i do wish Sprint would fix the Idle notifications. Our SD is plugged into our Diesel F450, with the idle notification turned off but i still get notified every 10 mins that’s the truck is idling outside when it is turned off. My current notification stares the truck has been idling for 596 minutes, but it’s turned off. Please fix the idle settings.

Ehhh. This does not track my vehicle in real time so if someone stole it, this would be of no use. Also, the driving score angers me. I'm not part of a business so I have no one to answer to and my score is 96, but it often says I have more hard accelerations than in reality and I don't like that. What this considers hard accelerations is in reality usually a normal acceleration. And being a perfectionist, when I get a bad score (anything under 100), it bothers me. I'm not trying to drive better because I drive pretty darn good as it is but now I feel stressed and I can't turn that function off. Lastly, I have some serious privacy concerns using this. I am being tracked everywhere I go and I don't like that. As well as my driving habits and who knows if this will get shared with insurance companies at some point. Basically it's a glorified, more expensive AAA. Should have realized that and just gotten AAA. That's the part that sold me tbh.

Latest update is bad. The latest updates over the last two days have too many glitches. The app freezes when I try to look at virtual mechanic or move to any other screen other than the map and will not load or crashes, it loses the location of the vehicle and shows the map but doesn’t show our car, I could see the car moving when being driven in the older version but not in this update. We use this app all the time and loved the older version but this newest version is horrible. Please fix it!

Sprint drive by customer. I’ve had sprint drive for a couple weeks. I like all of the features. I’ve got one in my 2009 fusion that works great. Some notifications are delayed by up to 15 min. I’ve also got one in my 98 ranger. It does work in the ranger for several things but it cannot read how fast the vehicle is traveling so it always says parked or that it’s possibly getting towed. Not a big deal when I can see in real time where the truck is at. I let someone borrow the ranger and it tells me how they are driving, keeps trip history, and even lets me know if the device is removed. So it will work on any vehicle with OBD2 but if it’s not a new car then some features will not work. But those features are not the important ones

Nothing but problems. I got a Sprint Drive device when I got a new iPhone 11 and revised my service plan. The ad piece for Sprint Drive said “Get Sprint Drive FREE with qualifying service plan”. I mistakenly trusted the Sprint Store employee, but was charged the purchase $120, which was buried in a 22” credit card sales tape. The store employee installed the device in my car which turned out not to be compatible with the device. After getting the Sprint Drive app, I have been unable to sign in. Constant error messages: user name doesn’t match password, or ‘I’m not a robot’ is never accepted. In several phone calls have talked with Sprint employees with no solutions. Avoid this device! Raises questions about doing business with Sprint. Being a 20 year Sprint customer has not been appreciated at all.

Seemed to stop tracking. Purchased this device a few days ago and the setup was simple and easy. Finally got the WiFi and 4G LTE to function (do not know how) but that only works when the vehicle is parked. When driving, it does not track that the vehicle is moving. Still says it is parked at our address. The blue lights do not illuminate when driving and the device does not notify me when it is removed from the vehicle. Beginning to regret purchasing this product altogether. Update: The WiFi hot spot settings link is also greyed out so you cannot access that part also.

Sprint drive is so worth it.. At first it only worked for a month but I changed it and since it has been the best product that I have ever purchase. SPECIALLY, because it allows me to be on top of the game. The one thing that I hate about it’s that it tells me precisely when my girlfriend is cheating on me. Other than that I highly recommend you to buy it.

Life saver. I only have this device because it was gifted to me and I installed it only to monitor when my parents took my car but the device genuinely saved me in tough times. I was at work when my coworkers and I noticed my tire was flat so I rang up AAA through the app and within the hour someone came and changed my tire WITHOUT needing me hence I was busy at work. I can list other ways this device has helped me but that one is my favorite. 100% worth it if you care about your car or you’re tired of “waiting until something happens”

Not bad, but the concept comes standard in newer makes and models. Overall, the app is pretty sleek and works without any flaws. I like the vehicle status reports as well as the find my car and parking features. But this app provides essentially the same function as my FordPass app without the ability for remote start and to unlock/lock my doors. The real saving grace is the WiFi hotspot. This is something I can see myself using often in the future. So far the WiFi has been reliable and quick. In summary, if you have a newer make/model the vehicle stats might not do much for you. And if you have a mobile hotspot on your cell phone then the WiFi feature may not be useful for you. But if you are in need of either of these services this app does a terrific job and is definitely worth a consideration.

Great for keeping updated on elderly parents / family.. I installed this on my parents car. The are both over 75 and I get worried about them driving. I have the app set to send me notices anytime they leave the house. Plus, the app allows me to see where the vehicle is even when they are parked. To me those are the most important functions. It also gives some information about the car battery condition and fuel status when the engine is running. I have never even used the WiFi hotspot function of the device. Because it is such an important safety device to me, I would like to see the telcos get together to allow this to roam without the loss of functionality.

Great for a do it yourselfer!. On 3 different occasions I was able to use the mechanic hotline to get advice to fix small issues. The mechanics were knowledgeable and gave me advice on how to get quality parts and cheaper prices. And were able to provide me with information to fix problems for myself, utilizing the codes generated by the sprint drive device. It’s money well spent!

Bluetooth Havoc!!. I thought this was the best thing ever... WiFi in the car... it runs diagnostics... gps tracking... I mean what more could you want (other than a brand new car.. lol). Let’s skip to the but... when it’s plugged in my husband’s Samsung Note 9 goes absolutely crazy when hooked up to the Bluetooth, he starts getting notifications of texts that he received a year or 2 ago... which is enough to cause PTSD... long story.. but for real no one wants to revisit texts from the devil incarnate!! We unplug the sprint drive & it stops.. left it unplugged for a few months.. all while still paying for this “free” gift from sprint... fast forward to today, plug it back in & it starts all over again with the old message notifications. And now I don’t even see where it runs diagnostics on the car.

CookiLuv. Yes I have sprint Drive and I absolutely love it It is awesome to have install such a safe and reliable source in my car ..... Also I love all the features like hot spot WiFi and AAA, GPS Tracking, it even has a live diagnostic scan test it does on car while car is in motion and last but not least sprint drive also grades you on how well your driving skills are awesome!!!!! Even keeping you updated on your car health and awareness of and unsafe areas as well as disturbances in the area..... I mean I’m just blown away by how awesome this safe installment is for me as a everyday driver♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Needs some updates. I got this a few days ago, I like how it keeps track of everything, except the fuel usage could be more accurate, it said that I only get 10 mile to the gallon which I know isn’t accurate, and it doesn’t keep accurate track of the fuel level either, hopefully there will be a future update to resolve these issues

Update won’t load features. Ever since the update nothing will load except current location of vehicles. So all of the added benefits aren’t available- please fix soon! Loved the app before the update!

Wondering when your going to update???. I’ve had sprint drive since 2018, and all was good then because I had a 2018 Jeep Renegade. Well now I’ve traded in my 2018 for a 2020 that I absolutely love... BUT you don’t have that option in the settings. I’d really love and appreciate an update because, I like my sprint drive but it falsely notifies me about random things on a regular and I feel that would be fixed if I had the appropriate options to set it to in settings.

Sprint Drive. Great device. Great App. It tells you engine issue codes. Let’s you know when gas is low, which I sometimes forget when I am in a hurry. But the annoying thing is the disturbance warnings. It’s good but if the wind shakes a parked vehicle, you get a warning. Love the fact that I can go anywhere and have internet. Some spots do cause the internet to go off. Great device and app!

Pretty good app. I got to say having sprint drive is sometimes a lifesaver but sometimes it does have issues otherwise it’s a great app and a great device and of course there is still a need for improvement but otherwise is a great app

You People Broke Stuff With Recent Update. When you have dark mode on some of the HUD will not show up but when I turn it off it does. Come on guys your a phone company you’re all about phones! Your apps should work better then this.. This is your all about this!

Great affordable way to get 4G on the road only.... The Sprint Drive is a a great option for getting 4G in the car. Lots of extras such as engine health checks and location finder. The only caveat, that’s true of other providers as well, is that there’s coverage loss and dropped call and location services vanishing. Hopefully, coverage will improve, maybe with the Sprint/TMobile merger.

Device. I love the device but I can not put my cover back on to cover up the device so maybe look into making it smaller or making it to where it can bend to go into the secure spot it’s in because mines is just sticking out.

Can’t login to WIFI. I’ve not be able to login to the WIFI or add another vehicle. Customer service said an app update was coming today. Still waiting. Will return to Sprint if problems not solved soon. Other features seem to work fine.

Excellent!!. Sprint drive has made my life easier as a parent with being able to track my driving children. Not only GPS wise has this been so appealing. But the fact that it alerts you of any issues with your vehicle. I highly recommend this purchase

New update doesn’t allow feature use. iPhone 8+ on SW 12.4.1, when i click on any features on the swipe up list like virtual mechanic, impact detection, trip history, etc. it only goes to a loading screen and when i click back arrow the loading spinner is still in the middle of the screen. I have uninstalled/reinstalled (9-9-19) with same issues. Before current update i would give it 10 stars but current version doesn’t work on my phone. Will change from 1 back to 5 once issue is resolved. Plz fix soon i love this app

The best thing I have ever had in my car!!!. Sprint drive is one of the best features in my car. The wifi is great!!! It tells me when there are problems with the car. I just love the features!!!

Helpful to Track Miles but. Wish I was able to filter my miles as personal and business. As a Daily Diver this option would be very helpful and still has rooms for improvement. It does have good features can’t wait until they can grow on it.

Getting support. The sprint drive is ok as a device to let you know where your car is at , and tell you the health of your car, but supposedly it comes with road assistance, from AAA I’m going to leave on a road trip and wanted to verify my status And triple AAA told me I was not in the system , I called sprint drive they had me on hold for 15 min and when I started to speak with them they had such a bad accent that I couldn’t understand, imagine if this was a true emergency. Use your desecration , you might want to have a back up .

Sprint Drive. I love this device! Everyone loves that they can connect to my sprint drive so they can play games. Great product for a great price. I love how it tracks where, how fast, sharp turns and grades you on your overall driving performance. When someone drives my car, I follow them on my phone and see their performance .

Piece of Mind. I like knowing I have a vehicle report history of the Health of my cars. Auto tow that is less expensive then my auto policy so I could cancel it off that policy and save money. The previous price makes this service free and I’m still paying less then I was with Geico. That’s a Win-Win! As a in-therapist my husband knows where area I’m in at all times if something was to ever go wrong and I don’t check in my off knows which house my visit was located; this gives him peace in service I’m providing to the community. Best idea ever!!. When my car got stolen in my 2011 Camry this is how I found my car and where they had drive to but I didn’t get my keys back. My car was sitting in the driveway when a kid stole my car and didn’t take anything except for a pack of smokes and lighter.

Sprint drive. The set up of sprint drive took a while then iphone got connected with sprint drive later. I have no chances to try it out. I am sure that it can work more often. I am stay st home mostly I seem to have limited data. I will find out what to do. At all it works anyway

Driving Etiquette. This device reminds the driver of obeying the law and safety awareness. This experience thus far has been valuable for braking experience, fuel consumption, turns that maybe abrupt and many more attributes to daily driving. This should be mandatory for beginners to the road. But even seasoned drivers can benefit from the device.

Not impressed. I have had it for about a week now. I like some features but it needs to have an option to switch vehicles. I have it in my truck now but when we travel we take my wife’s suv. This will be a problem as it shows it stolen if not installed in my truck. I am currently in the process of seeing if this is even legal.

So under rated!. This product is very important for all parents especially for parents with teenage drivers for safety. It’s a great tool for women that always get scammed (me)during change oil or when you go to a mechanic. It tells everything you need to know about your car plus you have a FREE Roadside assistance with it to the best $10/ month investment of my life!

Easy to install. It was pretty easy to install, took me about 5 minutes and I had a WI-FI connection that was better than my own home’s at times. The App gives useful information about your car like what MPG your getting and how your battery level is.

App Not Loading. I like the device. However the app stopped loading weeks ago Went to a Sprint store and was informed that Sprint was no longer supporting the device and had sent all units back The HotSpot still works which was primary purpose I have spent a couple hours with Sprint Tech Support with no luck after deleting app and reinstalling Please advise

Sometimes odd. I’ve been parked at my house for half an hour. Car is not running. Suddenly I got a message from Sprint Drive that my car may be towed. This has happened before. At 2 am. Other than that, it’s great. Especially having WiFi in my car.

This device is horrible do not buy if you did take it back. This device is horrible!!!! Do not buy! If you did take it back!! The customer care people for the sprint drive do not help you. They will take 9 hours to get to you. They will make you pay for what they say is included. They will not reimburse you. When you complain they tell you they do not work for sprint and to take the complaints to sprint. Sprint will refer you back to triple A for all refunds and reimbursement no one will help you!!! If you’re you using this to follow your teenage daughter DONT. She can just remove it before she powers the care on!!! Please accept the fact that your daughter is probably doing Xanax and deep throating 3 half black guys with face tattoos! You failed as a parent. Just disown her and have another one learn from your mistakes!

Never works. I’ve had the Sprint Drive for almost 6 months now and it’s really a piece of crap. It never works right. My hotspot almost always says that it can’t turn on because my car isn’t running when the only time I try to to use it is when my car is running! How does that make sense. And then on top of that, half the time it wants to say that my engine isn’t on and puts my cars location at a place that isn’t accurate or even near to where I am. I no longer want this product as it doesn’t do what it claims it’s supposed to. Absolute waste of time and money!!

Bad connectivity. It supposed to connect to WiFi once your car is on. Most of the time it takes an hour plus sometimes to connect, once it does connect if driven for miles you lose signal, stream and strength. Needs to get their developers to fix problem.

The sprint driver. I didn’t know that it informed me of what going on with my car and love having the internet where I ever loose connection it been working for me but I do find not working in some of the dead areas but other then that I love it

Disturbance while parked. I love this app but I get a notification every time someone shuts the door. Now maybe they’re slamming it, or don’t know how strong they are, but I wish there was a way for it to differentiate between a door being shut and an actual disturbance I want to be made aware of.

Just installed. So far it is working flawlessly in my 2014 Mercedes-Benz C250. I mainly got the Sprint Drive for the mobile hotspot. The app seems to work well. My main complaint is that the menu covers part of the map on my aftermarket 10” screen. It isn’t bad on my IPhone. There need to be a way to hide the menu.

Was Great. This was really great til the last update (the one with the yellow car and different maps). I can NEVER find my son’s car on this new update unless I force close the app and start over. It never did that before. I’m also not getting real time driving so I have no clue how fast he’s driving. I’d rather have the old app back.

Sprint Drive. I really like my device, it has saved me lots of money on unnecessary garage shop charges. I tell the auto mechanic what’s wrong when my car needs repair. If my child drives it I know where my car is at all times. If someone hits it I know! Everyone should have one of these!

Good but room for improvement. I like that this app lets me keep track of my car. And it gives me health tracking. I’m not sure many people have this problem but when I try to turn on the notification for device removal it won’t let me. It’s greyed out. I don’t understand. Will change to 5 stars when that is fixed. Also I do like the new update that adds parking disturbance

Almost there. The App is great and has a lot of awesome features. However, it is full of bugs. Scrolling to the bottom of any screen causes the app to crash (I use an iPhone XR, so that’s not the reason). My trip history lists the location backwards. If I went from my house to the store, then the trip is recorded as me going from the store to my house instead. These bugs make the app much less desirable to use.

Froze my cell app. I updated with the new recommended version app and have not been able to use sprint drive app since then. App is frozen and will not allow me to use it. Please update/fix updated version.

Car retrieval. I love this device it give security from the ability to track your car to requesting roadside service. Had car stolen and was able to find and recover car the same day using the daily history of travel logs stored on app.

Not working with iPhone dark mode. I am currently unable to see any of my stats with dark mode on my iPhone. When light mode is turned on it is fine. I do not have trouble with dark mode with any of my other apps.

Awesome Service. Sprint Drive has helped me on multiple occasions already since I’ve gotten it about 6 months ago. The AAA service and just being able to locate my car after being towed has been invaluable. Keep up the great work is all I can say.

Keep up with my car. I love Sprint Drive because it keeps my kids honest when they use my car. I can see every trip made and when my car was hit while parked I knew the exact location where my son was when it occurred.

Glitchy. Worked for about ten months. Logging in from iOS login failed. Said had to setup new account to use. At it again today. About the fourth time I have to do this in last two months. Support folks helpful but the upshot is to delete and reinstall. Not really a big deal but I expect more. It does not seem to be related to iOS updates. Just not ready for primetime.

Nice but still a few bugs to work out. I keep getting random notifications about my car being towed or a “disturbance detected” which is a nice feature to have.... it they weren’t consistently false alarms. Also my in my trip history, my departure and arrival locations on the map are backwards. Good app/service,.... just needs some polishing.

Please improve some things, great concept though. I like the idea that my wireless carrier can also work in the car to provide WiFi & roadside assistance. When you close the door the text “disturbance detected” comes thru. Also, late night I received a disturbance text because there was a network problem. Annoying. But overall I like it.

Sprint Drive. Sprint Drive detected a low oil pressure so I checked my oil level. I was low about quart. Once I put a quart of oil in no more oil alerts. This is a good device and I would recommend it. The only problem I have is that you can’t delete your messages that you have set up through the app.

Sprint Drive. I love it. It helps me know how fast my teen son is driving and where he is and if he’s lost. I love it gives a report on my car. If the battery is bad or something. Everyone should have one that has teen drivers they don’t even know it does all of that. All he knows is it gives the car WiFi

Sprint drive. Awesome everything you need, just wish there were more information in the obd scanner like being able to reset codes I get it’s for service and not for mechanic work but still would be nice l

WiFi in the go, with peace of mind attached. I have the Sprint Drive installed now for a week and so far it’s been decent. The internet within the car has been so far been reliable, and even though it would be nice to have Internet after the car has been shut off for 10 minutes, it’s still not bad. I’m hoping to see additions and more improvements with some of the features in near future but so far it’s been nice to have.

Great app and service, high on usefulness. Very practical set of features packed into an easy to use and intuitive user interface. Live tracking, boundaries and alerts very useful to keep tab on my teenagers. Useful data on trips as well. Great experience so far and look forward to new features.

Issues within car. I like that the Sprint drive notifies me of issues that are going on with my car before I end up broken down on the side of the road.

So Far Soo Good. Enjoying the experience of knowing my car personally and intimately with notifications and location. I got it for the WiFi originally and I haven’t been disappointed. I travel ALOT do this helps a million plus I have no kids so I’m happy. Great deal for what it’s worth and the functionality with it. Worth trying for 14days!!

Sprint Drive. Just started using my “ Sprint Drive “ and it has not failed to impress, it even diagnoses your vehicle just like your mechanic would without any bs. And you always know where your car is😉😉😉 even when your “ teenager “ or other young adult is driving, lol😂😂😂 again no more bs. I have to rate this an 11 out of 10!!!
