1 issue. It has the potential to be great but I want to talk with females and all I was getting were dudes and for me to have to pay to get women and is dumb I can go to omegle or something like that and get a filter for females for free so I wish if anything for like every five people I would talk was an add and u would get to choose your filter for free. Not able to delete account.. I first logged in to just try it out. But when a stranger contacted me, I decided not keep the app any longer. So first, I logged out and deleted the app. Then, I just remembered that I should have deleted my account. But, it wouldn’t let me. A really good new chat app. At first I saw the logo of the hippo I thought it’s a joke. Then I tried the app and it’s surprisingly good. I like this app. Group chat function is pretty fun, sometimes when my friends and I are bored we all meet up on hippo and just hang out. It’s great because as we are older now everyone is in different parts of the the state/ world, but now in today’s reality we are only a few clicks away to be able to spend time and hang out together.

It’s ok. It’s a good app but they love to steal your money and they never resolve any problem. My app froze so I signed out and refreshed the app. I had 650 coins. When I started the app again and signed on I had 0 coins. I tried reaching out to customer service but their email is fake. And I haven’t gotten any compensation for what I lost. Very upsetting. If they had an actual support system I would’ve gave 4/5 stars.

Uninstalled in 5 mins. This app just wants your money that’s about it! Made an account as a male. As i figure out i keep getting paired with males i found out there was an option to switch it females! Great! But i had to pay for coins. Okay no problem maybe it’s their algorithm they have me on. So i created a new account as a female. And i couldn’t even do a single match without it having it immediately kick me out the app and crash. Somethings were better how they were back then. I wasn't having much luck on Tinder or bumble, and the biggest thing about the card swiping apps is that there is no guarentee that you will have any sort of luck or interaction on there whatsover. hippo brings an interesting concept of being able to chat with anyone on there! My camera goes black or people can’t hear me. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m not sure if it’s the app or it’s just people don’t want to talk but for some reason when I matched with somebody for a video call, my camera screen goes black, so I don’t know if these people are seeing me or not and also, when I talk to them, they do not talk back or the video quickly just end it. I’m not sure if it’s the app that does that or it’s just people don’t want to talk. But the screen going black is a problem I don’t know if they see me or not.

Also have the ability to meet lots of new people if that is what you choose. It would be pretty great if we can choose my preference so we can narrow down exactly the type of people we can chat with, but other than that hey the app is fun and a good time. As a Creator there is alot of opportunity to become an influencer and earn money. Something is wrong with the camera/mic and its not my phone. I tried okaying through the app for a night and as I was “trying” to talk to people I’m assuming no one could see or hear me. No one answered any question and when I tired asking if they could see or hear me no one answered after over a dozen tries.
