NAGC App review. App worked perfectly. I downloaded a few days before the conference and selected the sessions I wanted to attend. During the conference I used it to see where to go to every of my sessions. Love the updates on events and changes on rooms. I never opened the book conference, we can save so much paper by having only the app for the future.

Worked great for half a day. After that, the content disappeared from the version on my phone - the app showed that there were no active events. The one on my iPad still had the content but that is not very convenient for navigating a conference in real time.

Not Well Designed. This app is horrible on the iPad. It works well on my phone, but it’s hard to take notes on a tiny device. Also, evaluations don’t work on either device even after signing in multiple times-still says account not recognized. Additionally, it randomly reloads and takes forever- this may partly be due to the WiFi at the conference.

Proper Seating. We paid a lot of money to sit on the floor. We were closed out if 2 sessions that we really wanted to attend? Who planned this? It was very embarrassing. If this was a medical conference, doctors would not be sitting on the floor. Take a count. Obviously you’ll have some changes. But you need to know how many people to generally anticipate. Why did we “star” our favorite sessions? The presenters were amazing. They were all very professional. I would love to help out with the planning for next year. Debi Majeski

NAGC. I have enjoyed many of the sessions. I have been disappointed, though, that three sessions in two days have had no-shows for presenters and we were not notified until after the fact. The app that is being use could’ve been an easy and quick communication tool to let attendees know that presenters were not showing up so that we could choose other sessions before they were filled and there were no seats in the room. Although the hotel accommodation is very nice, the expense involved with food has been frustrating. I have never attended a conference that has not provided complementary beverages and snacks for attendees at least a couple of times during the day. For a national conference I would have expected at least some beverages, snacks, continental breakfast, and lunch. There also needs to be a way to gauge session attendance so that so many people aren’t sitting on the floor. I am thankful for the opportunity to attend and hope you will consider improvements.

Wonderful!!. Enjoyed having the app for the duration of the conference. Was so helpful to find locations, descriptions, and materials during sessions. Wish every conference had something like this! So much easier than flipping through the book repeatedly. Thanks!!!

I loved the app last year. I wasn’t able to do the conference when it was held and can’t figure out how to view the sessions with the app now. It seems that very few have a recorded session. :(
