Charge of 7.99. This app has been charging my card 7.99 weekly. I don’t recall ever purchasing the premium. I thought I was using the free app. I recently purchased an instrument I downloaded this app along with another tuner app. The other tuner app was an easier choice to me than this one so right away I deleted this app from my phone but I noticed iTunes was charging me weekly 7.99 for something. At first I thought music but when I noticed it was a weekly charge I checked and it was coming from this app. I never accepted these charges.

Terrific. Literally only got to tuning up to the D string on my acoustic guitar and I gotta give this app a very high rating. It also provides you with chord progressions that you may not have been familiar with that suit your tastes and needs. Not a MUST have, but definitely worth what your paying for. My two cents.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APPS. Sad to see how people use anyways to make money, too bad I didn’t read the review of the apps before I downloaded it. Watchout this apps user, once your free trial up then it either automatically charge you 7,99 USD a week, but even if there are some consent you need to agree with, be very careful in signing up your apple acounts.... I sure didn’t realize I was signing into this mess.... and I thought I was very careful in buying any apps..... i take it as my mistake, but it really is not worthed to pay close to 8 bucks for this kind of apps.... there are alot more free apps out there.

Awful. Downloaded because I wanted a quick tuner and it made me get a subscription with free trial with no other option. Annoying but whatever so I get it planning to end it after tuning my instrument and it was very difficult if not impossible too end my subscription without contacting tech support. That being said nothing has come from my email too tech support yet I really hope they don’t charge me. If someone capable of ending my subscription is reading this please end it. awful services.

Charges money without consent.. I used this app once with my friend, we were tuning her guitar. I didn’t use it but kept it just in case. I never signed up for anything that cost REAL money. My account then got disabled by my parents because it charged 7.99. It’s not ok to charge money without consent! My parents lost VALUABLE money thanks to this app. Don’t download, unless your looking to lose money. (If you want to disable it, go to settings- ITunes and AppStore button- click on your name- and scroll down to subscriptions, you can then disable there. Thanks.

Horrible app, DON’T DOWNLOAD. What a horrible app! I had installed this app FOUR months back not knowing anything about it, when I got onto the app I realized it wasn’t as helpful as I had hoped and wasn't worth my time so I proceeded to uninstall it. Today, by chance I checked my apple subscriptions and saw this app was charging an automatic $7.99 a week for the four months without any notification. I had uninstalled the app the same day I had downloaded it and not once was anything mentioned of a obligatory weekly payment of $7.99 ($8.43 with taxes) so at this point I’ve lost $92 on an app I’ve never used. Completely disappointed with this service. Definitely not worth $7.99 a week and certainly not $92!

Why so expensive. While the app offer many great options and utilities for instruments and tuning, 8$ a week, really? according to my math, to keep a subscription for an entire year is over 400 DOLLARS. it doesn’t matter what kind of technology is used, no tuner, especially digital, should be that expensive. It also makes sense to just seek it at a set amount, since it is not a service, it’s a tool and the people using the app are musicians. Even with subscription, it should be by month, not week. Even netxflix has cheaper payments with subscriptions

Wow. I like how to use an app in which says that it’s free but then forces you to pay seven dollars just to use the tuner and get extra things which I understand extra things can cost more money but just to use the main feature of the app is ridiculous if there’s a way to do it for free that I do not know if then I don’t know babe and it be nice to know but as of now I am stuck finding different tuning apps in which I can find out if they work or not so that’s why am running this one start because there is no need to actually pay seven dollars just to tune my guitar using a mobile app

Don’t, just don’t. You can’t use the app unless you “sign up for a free subscription” and then they make it very very difficult to cancel by not making it clear on how. And they charge you weekly? It’s overpriced. Another thing I’m very confused about is why it says that a majority of the reviews are 5 stars?? I literally scrolled through all of the reviews and 90% of them are 1 star. The app is a scam to make money, do not download. It’s not worth the trouble. You can easily find a free app that actually works. Go to settings > your profile at the top > then into subscriptions, scroll all the way down and you should be able to cancel. I hope that helps.

Seriously a garbage app. I have been looking for a guitar tuner app and was looking forward to downloading this one when i stumbled across an ad for it on instagram. However, to my extreme disappointment not only is there no free version of the app but before you are even allowed to try it out you have to purchase premium. This wouldn’t be a huge issue if not for the monthly price of $7.99 when it is advertised as free. Extremely disappointed hopefully apple will remove this app from the store as it should not even be allowed. (This Alice person responding to reviews is a liar saying that you can use the free version of the app but it does not exist.)

Great tuner. This app was recommended to me by my guitar instructor. I was frustrated at first cause I only wanted the free version (you have to sign up for premium and then cancel subscription) and couldn’t figure out how to cancel the subscription, but I received an email on how to take care of it before the free trial expired. It is a very nice app and seems to work great with a lot of options. My only complaint would be offer the free version with a link to sign up for the premium if desired not vice versa

Charge the yearly subscription even when the subscription was canceled within 24 hours.. Wondering why this still has some 4+ rating in App store? (I would like to give some negative rating here). I accidentally downloaded this app and then went to the description to find out if I cancel it within 24 hours then I won’t be charged any money(and I did that). It’s been almost a month and the money never got refunded. There is no way you can contact this developer either. Stop stealing people’s money. I won’t mind reporting this app to apple store if I won’t get money back. Thanks

$7.99 Charge. I loved the simplicity of this app! It was quick and free. I’ve used it for years and recommend it to all of my friends. But just recently I purchased a new phone and hadn’t used this app since then until about 3 weeks ago. I downloaded it again for free, saw they had made upgrades but wasn’t terribly interested because I just needed it to tune my guitar. After tuning I closed the app out and haven’t used it since. This morning I entered in my new debit card information for iTunes and was charged $7.99 my Guitar Tuner. I was confused and frustrated to come here and read the same thing happening others. Then to read they are deferring this to a simple “it will only subscribe you if you chose to purchase it”. Never again will I use this app.

E string on bass is not consistent. Hello, I’ve been using this app for about a year and it’s been working fine until the apps whole look changed a few months(?) ago. A lot of the time, the E string on my bass will not be picked up by the tuner. I don’t change any settings on my amp at all, but it just doesn’t pick it up. I’m not sure what the problem is, because just yesterday I used this tuner and it picked up all 4 of my strings just fine. Would appreciate feedback on how to fix this issue

Works real well. I’ve been tuning acoustic, and electric guitars using this app. And it has done a fantastic job. If your having trouble tuning a particular string. turn off the auto button, and select that certain one. Easy peazy to unlock other popular tunings. So far I’ve been using standard, drop d, and .5 wich is half step down 👍❗️ thanks so much

How to cancel subscription. Saving everyone a big step. Go to settings, click on iTunes and app->then click on your name at top-> then view Apple ID from the pop up list. From there click on subscriptions and you can manage from there. Also be sure to click on purchases to find out how many times they have screwed you over and charged you. To the mod/Alice. I am sure I am keep using the free version but all I want is my 3 subscription fees back including tax. If you call this a business where the bulk of your reviews are from angry customers (which you want to still use your app mind you) you have a very short lived business model. I hope you can sleep well at night knowing you can not even take credit for half your apps because people will be looking for you.

Tuner Pro: don’t download. My teenage daughter downloaded this app. It automatically installed as auto-download at $7.99. After we told her to cancel, she could not find out how to unsubscribe. She didn’t tell us because she knew we weren’t happy about first $7.99 charge. She kept trying with no luck. We got charged for a second week and got a second $7.99 charge (actually $8.43 after taxes). Now we are in the 3rd week and it is taking me all long time (so far unable to unsubscribe) We are going to end up paying more than $25 for an app she has used ONCE. And they offer it for free if you unsubscribe. Apple store needs to intervene and force them to remove the auto-subscribe. This is BS!

This app is great! But a few problems. First off, have to say amazing app! I love how you don’t need to have a real tuner to be able to have your bass tuned. The one thing I will say is that sometimes I play a note like for instance a and it will say d. It is kind of bad but it is ok. Maybe just try to fix that? Thanks so much!

Don’t get this app!. While looking for a good tuning app I came across this app. I downloaded it just to try it out. I thought I clicked on the free version Then I realized it wasn’t what I was looking for. I deleted it not thinking anything of it until I got a notification many months later saying I was charged $7.99 this month for this app. I looked back at my purchase history and it turned out that it had signed me up for a monthly subscription without telling me. At the end they had taken over $100 out of my account. This is a terrible app it doesn’t work well it charges you without telling and it’s definitely not worth $7.99 a month.

Functionally Fantastic....Too Costly. I play a Hammered Dulcimer and the fully chromatic tuner function is what I was interested in. The tuner functioned fantastic, was super accurate, and was easy to use. From a functionality perspective I would give the app five gold stars. However, the weekly high cost of $7.99 sadly prevents me from continuing to be a customer. That’s a pretty steep ongoing cost, much higher than many streaming music and video services on the Internet. I could, and likely will, purchase a top of the line dedicated hardware tuner at the music store for a one time cost for less than a few months of your ongoing cost. As a retired person with a fixed income I can not justify the ongoing expense. So, due to an unusually high ongoing cost I have to give your app a seriously lower rating. Would you please reconsider your funding model to make the cost more reasonable and consider a one-time cost of about two or thee months of your ongoing fee? (Just a suggestion to achieve the five gold star rating the app should have.)

Charged me twice. I was double charged multiple times for premium service and did not even have premium features. It was impossible to reach anyone about my issue. Works well as an app but apparently managed by dikwads

confusing and expensive. I had high hopes for this app, but after downloading it and realizing that the free version was basically useless, i went ahead and purchased premium. That was an expensive mistake! First of all, the amount of different prices for premium is ridiculous. Is it really necessary to have like 8 different price points for a tuner? i literally just wanted to tune my guitar once, and somehow ended up with an $8/wk tuner! unfortunately i didn’t realize it until i was $30 in. I have never even seen an app that charges weekly. Trying to cancel was a pain, and i’m not even sure i actually have. i have now downloaded a free Tuner app, guess what? It works better than one i paid $8/weekly for! Well I wish i had read the reviews first! i am going to contact Apple directly because am app with this many bad reviews regarding charges, should maybe be reviewed by Apple, it just seems unethical.

7.99$ out of nowhere. I don’t ever remember choosing to start a subscription with this app but apparently if I even click on a different form of tuning I start getting charged, when I tried to get a refund after over 95$ wasted on an unknown subscription I was immediately met with my refund request not even going through... I would very much like my 95$ back but knowing this shady app I’m likely to be met with this being completely user error and be denied on the spot. TLDR: Didn’t even know how but got a random 7.99 weekly subscription that led to me being charged 95$ for a tuner app I never used and couldn’t get a refund.

Unfortunate. I was excited to try this app but i think you’re going to turn off a lot of people with the unclear user terms. $8/week is pretty crazy for any app, much less an app that does something so easily done with a $15 tuner from a music store. Everyone loves the accessibility of having everything in one place, on their phone but i feel like $8/week will be a turn off. I’ve already canceled my subscription, 5 min after downloading. Probably a good app but nowhere near worth what you’re charging

Sneaky and probably illegal (against Apples TOS). The main functions of the app are inaccessibly blocked behind a subscription paywall that cannot be dismissed or engaged with outside of picking and clicking one of the three weekly/monthly/yearly paid subscription packages. There are no “free” features or unpaid functionality for/within this app, despite developers incessantly claiming that there is. Consumer apps developed using this kind of model to forcibly market their otherwise free products for monetary profit/gain without having any regard for the actual usability or long term value or sustainability of said product/service for the consumers who use them is a red flag. No app or in-app service that claims (either in-part or wholly) it is free-to-use but will not function properly without a paid subscription from the apps user, should not be allowed to advertise or operate on the App Store. I’m pretty sure Apple prohibits this (or anything similar) in their App Store TOS for developers, which this app clearly violates and ignores.

Works great but overpriced & not obvious how to cancel. First, the good - the app works really well and makes it easy to tune a variety of instruments. There are a lot of options and looks like a great tool for serious musicians, but I was just using it to tune my kids’ guitar and ukulele. Super easy to use, totally idiot proof. However the bad is pretty bad. The weekly rate is quite high at $8/week. The yearly is more reasonable, if you know you’re going to use it a lot and want to make the investment. The thing I take issue with is that there are no instructions on the app to tell you how to cancel. However there is lots of info on this in the app reviews, which is where I found it...after spending $24 on it. The weekly price is pretty ridiculous in my opinion, and the lack of transparency in how to cancel the subscription is not accidental and in fact is predatory. App developers, you can do better. This is a great app! There is no need to be shady!

Be more forthcoming.... I downloaded and started the free trial, then realized it’s $8/week, so I canceled. I like the tuner, but I can’t find anywhere what functions will still be available when the trial is over (do you have a link for that?). You seem to have a great product, but when the bulk of your reviews are angry users tell you your app seems like a scam, you really need to address the problem if you want long term customers. This is silly.

Forced to Subscribe. I got this app to tune a guitar that I painted as a gift for someone. However, upon opening the app I was forced to start a free trial. Do not respond and say the subscription is ‘optional’, because it’s not. There is no way to close out of the subscription screen. When I discovered this, I decided to go ahead and start my free trial since I would be deleting the app after I tuned this one guitar, since I don’t have any guitars of my own nor do I know how to play one. When I tried to start my free trial, however, it wouldn’t let me because I didn’t have enough money on my phone for the app to steal once my week was up. I find it to be very misleading and unfair to label your app as ‘free to use’ and then force people into a subscription. To everyone looking for a guitar tuner, do not get this one if you want a free tuner. Go find a different app. To the developer, please either fix the issue of being stuck on the subscription screen or stop labeling the app as ‘free to use’.

Why is there no cancel button for the free trial. First of all I just downloaded this app and of course I pressed next to get stared and it say start free trial and I want to try it for free and this isn’t cool how I HAVE to do it like people want to try this free yet I haven’t even started like come on put a cancel button for people that don’t want to do it. And by the way if you’re gonna say that I can use it free, I can’t because I tap everywhere, no cancel button. So don’t come to be saying “ oh you can use it free” HOW?! YOU NEED TO EXPLAIN HOW! Some people just wanna learn free but it seems like you FORCING people to pay useless subscription. This makes me upset, to be honest, this is worst then simply guitar just because the you pay more for the subscription, they don’t force you to do the subscription. PS fix this immediately because there are other people in the world that want to learn.

Starting Issue. I haven’t quite used the app yet for a reason, the Developers say that you can use the free yet restricted version of the app which I believe BUT when you first install the app it’s not obvious where the button that lets you continue but the free version is. Although it’s in the center of the screen and it says something like “Ads + Restricted” which is a little bit confusing.

How to access the free trial. Does the developer force you to subscribe to gain access to the free trail? Yes. Is this shady? Yes. Does the developer go out of their way to avoid explaining step by step how to cancel the subscription in their review responses? Yes. Follow these steps to gain access to the free limited version: 1) subscribe to the app 2) go to the Settings app 3) navigate to your Apple ID settings 4) go to Subscriptions. Here you can manage your subscriptions and cancel. It’s unfortunate and anti consumer to force folks to jump through these hoops to gain access to the free version, especially for an instrument tuner. The developer hopes and counts on folks to either forget or not notice they subscribed to their service. It’s predatory and for this, they get one star.

This app hides unscrupulous practice. I am a long time guitar player that was looking for a good app for different guitar tunings. Like others I saw this in an add and it looked good. I downloaded it first then after opening it I read the reviews. I then saw the many people upset over the way the app cons you into the weekly charges. For a guitar tuner!? I would gladly pay a one time charge to use a brilliantly designed app that meets my needs. But never a weekly charge that is outrageously priced. Shows greed. I immediately deleted the app and double checked that no charges were incurred. I learned from this app that there are some very shady practices going on in the App Store . Be wary!!

Do Not Download this App!!!. This app is one of the most misleading apps I have ever used in the past 10 years of using apps. I had no idea that I was being charged $7.99/week for this app until I received my credit card bill. I never saw this subscription plan in detail when I initially signed up for the app. I am very disappointed that Apple would allow such fraudulent activity. Shame on MWM for not being transparent about their subscription renewal plan at the beginning of a customer using this app. I regret not reading all of these customer reviews that had a similar experience.

Are you serious?. When I first found the app And tried it, I loved it, and hit the app purchase button only to find they expect me to pay how much for a suscription to a TUNER? C’mon! Really? I know you can still use the “restricted” version of the app, and I know the premium app has the other extra features like the metronome, etc. But the prices are outrageous! Sadly, I immediately deleted the app. For that kind of money, the app should not only allow me to tune a guitar, I would expect the darn thing to play it for me as well!!

Great tuner, terrible runaround.. When you download the app, they neglect to tell you that it requires a weekly subscription that is waaaaay too costly. Then you need to go to iTunes to end the free trial and if you don’t, it automatically renews. They tell you not to use the app if you don’t agree to the terms and services, but that just seems like they are trying to pin their shadiness on you. They also don’t show you the terms and services until you’ve agreed to the free trial. Don’t be shady. Be honest upfront instead of giving information after the fact.

Scammed weekly for a month.. Obviously you’re doing something wrong with this many bad reviews. Just like so many other people I also got charged 7.99 a week and had no idea. I deleted the app and it still charged my card. You must go to your settings and unsubscribe to stop it from charging your card. To help prevent other people from being scammed go to your email of the receipt and report the app saying you did not authorize a transaction. Hopefully this will bring this problem to apples attention. Also doing this ☝️I was able to chat with Apple Support and got refunded most of the charges.

Excellent value. An app that has tuning and tablature for any song on your playlist that shows you the progressions as the song plays, plus other features I don't know about yet. A full tab subscription online that does this easily can cost at least twice as much. This is great value esp for beginner- intermediate level

App has been taking money from my account. Yes I used you app for one hour at the most and then I uninstalled it, and with out tell me it has taken my money out of my account for the past 3 months. This is pretty messed up I never gave permission for this app to take money out of my account. I’m thoroughly disappointed with this and I would like a refund for what has happened. When I realized I kept losing money for no reason I found out that you app has been talking 7.99 out each week for the past 3 months. I would like a response as soon as possible

The most expensive guitar tuner you can find. I downloaded this app to quickly tune my guitar, and somehow ended up with a 7.99 weekly bill and it was not apparent that I had signed up for anything at all. I also must point out that you can buy a decent, physical tuner for your instrument for around this price and keep it forever. Weeks went by and this app continued to take money out of my account. Regardless of whether this was my mistake or not, the pricing for this app is completely outlandish. I heartily do not recommend.

Good. The tuning app is excellent. You can click around the subscription model. I do think a subscription model should live alongside a flat fee for some extra features but this is the world we live in. At least you can tube your ukulele without signing your life away.

Works when it wants to. I don’t know what it is about this app but I have to turn it on and off at least 6-7 times before being able to tune my Bass. I can tell that the app is working because I can navigate to different menus but when it comes to hearing my strings the app refuses to listen. I’m using the free version but I feel like this is a ploy to get you to pay for the real thing. No matter how quiet it is this app refuses to detect sound the first 6-7 times I open it up. This app is good when it decides to work but is completely useless 90% of the time. if they’re really trying to get me to buy their app then please make the free version functional at the very least.

The most sensible guitar tuner availiable. So easy to use! I usually sit on my couch when I play guitar. Now I have Siri open this guitar tuner on the screen, I lay it on my left ( just under the guitar’s neck and head) and my finger plucks a string… and I see a guitar neck with a vibrating string ;and swing needle below it ( happens to be what ever string I pluck) and my phone’s display shows me the string vibrating with a needle below it, (showing you how much lower or higher you turn the peg) the head, the neck, the bridge and frets all mimic my Ovation… of course it works better (visually) if your a bit high (that’s usually when I play!).

This app would be better if.... Ok I love this app because I’m learning to play guitar in school and this really helps a lot, I just wish you didn’t have to pay for the games since it really helps me a lot. I don’t really have any money to spend on this so I have to stick to the beginner chords, sticking with the beginner chords even tho I’ve mastered them all is really annoying since I’m not really getting better, or learning anything more advanced. 👎

Awful. 1. tuner doesn’t work on auto and if you have an electric acoustic, don’t even waste your time downloading. when tuning on manual you’ll be lucky if it picks up your chord. 2. as many of the other reviewers have pointed out, the weekly price of $7.99 plus tax is outrageous for a mobile tuner. if you saved the money you would spend on this app for just a couple of months you could buy a high end tuner from the guitar store and have money left over. i would not recommend this app to anyone i’ve tried using it so many times to tune and not once has it worked correctly. It shoots to the lower end of the spectrum every time

Good But Also Terrible. I completely agree with all of the other raging comments that are free to read here. The subscription with a “free trial” is forced down your throat. I decided to do the free trial, which was my first mistake, and then promptly forgot about it. Apple decides NOT to notify you of the next 4 charges of 8 dollars that arrive weekly. This app that I used ONCE took approximately 32 dollars from me WITHOUT notifying me until the charges were extremely high. Terrible business that should be considered illegal and a scam. The app itself would be good if they wouldn’t scam people out of their money. I had a total of 63 dollars in my bank account, and they took half of it. Disgusting. Do NOT download.

Unusable without subscription. Save yourself the time and effort, and avoid this predatory nonsense. The dev is a liar and a predator, setting up something that’s completely unusable and inaccessible without a subscription. The price is INSANE!! $8 a week? Absolute madness! The dev is going around responding to bad reviews with a blatant and outright lie. There is no “free version” of this app. Update: the developer replied to my review with the exact same lies they’ve been spreading around on all the other 1-star reviews. There is no free version of the app, and zero feature initialize without a purchase. Dev is a liar, and the app is a scam.

Give my money ^_^. Oh, my God. How can you steal 50$ for two months? That's great. Melon doesn't do that neither.; I downloaded it because it was a free experience, and I automatically subscribed to it and my money was being eaten. In-app payments are not refundable at the app store. I haven't used this app since I downloaded it. Please refund it. Please. I am a student who makes a living as hard as you are. Please!

Works good, extremely overpriced. I am a person who only uses the app to play my guitar, but I play a wide variety of songs, but the free version of the app is so restricted that I am unable to tune my guitar to the things I want. 95% of the features are in the paid version of the app So as a reasonable person I looked into getting the paid version, and then I saw it costs $8 dollars a week! That’s 32 dollars a month, twice as much as a Netflix subscription for just a guitar tuner. This app works good, but it’s extreme limitations and high prices are greatly restricting it and it’s getting on my nerves that I must use other things for my guitar

Wow, an developer who forces you to start a free trial, UGH!. I saw a referral to this app from an ad and it looked decent to use. Unfortunately it doesn’t allow you to use FREE as offered. To even use/ test this app you are forced to start a free trial. As others have mentioned their frustration when charged the $7.99 plus tax per week and then having to unsubscribe from their service I’m astonished that Apple would allow such a setup which will cause users to have a bad experience. Users should not ever have to get into this position of having to be conned into using a free trial. The app developer should offer the app free to use with out having to finagle the situation to where a users has to waste their time to unsubscribe after the free trial is over. Why does Apple and the app develop screw users by putting us into such a position? If the app developer decides to remove this requirement that we have to use the free trial to get access to their app then I’ll give it a try. If not I’ll be posting this warning and a thumbs down for their app because of this issue. Users should not be forced to start a free trial just to test the app when it’s being advertised as a free app with in-app purchases. It’s not really a free app with in-app purchases if you force people into a situation where they are subscribed. Being subscribed is not free, it’s only free for the first week... that’s almost like a bait and switch...

They stole my money. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I downloaded and opened once then deleted because the free app was not worth the price. Just by downloading it will start an auto renewal at 7.99 each week. I hope I was able to cancel. Already lost $16 the developer is like a pick pocket scam man. TO THE DEVELOPER, you are the worst with your subscription prices and hidden auto renewal. If you actually asked people if they would pay your subscription price they would all say NO. You should not be on the App Store. I scanned 100 reviews they were all like mine. Your 5 stars review are either fake or not relevant to your app as you currently sell it. This app should be removed if you are going be a scammer.

Bruh. Good app but it won’t let me cancel my subscription I can’t find it anywhere, I’m losing money and I don’t even use the app

Standard Tuning Only. You can’t even tune your guitar half a step down with this app unless you pay them 81 dollars a year, this is a complete rip off.

Not happy. Cannot for the life of me work out how to unsubscribe, I believe if I can’t unsubscribe in the next day I’ll start being charged?? I want out The app looks like it works well but I was simply looking for a Guitar Tuner… And I’m not gonna pay $12 a week or whatever it is just for that feature

Payment. I had an issue with the payments of this app. I wasn’t aware you had to properly unsubscribe from this app and deleted it, I was then still charged for the app and the emails were not delivered properly to me. It’s a bit confusing for a beginner.. Unable to opt out after installation. The terms of condition will only allow opt out once purchase have been completed. I believe this means I have to make at least one payment before I can refuse. I tested this app once and found it the same as my free app provided by another developer. Why is there no way of opting out before payment commences???? I recommend not installing.

Good app but needs many improvements. The e chord doesn’t work it ended up getting me to tighten my string too tight and snap and hit my hand and cut it all of the other ones tuned really well just please try to fix the last string tuning :)

What is this?. I downloaded this to tune my kids toy guitar. I went to sign up for the free trial (alarm bells should have been going off already) to learn its 11 dollars a week. I taught I was only trying it, I was caught in an annual very expensive premium subscription of course, not the weekly subscription, a more affordable step you can get out of easy if one doesn’t like it like me. Scam. This app is a complete scam. The instant you download it, it signs you up for an UNBELIEVABLY expensive subscription that you can’t get out of. The we’re trying to make me pay eight bucks a week for a GUITAR TUNER. And you can’t even cancel the subscription through the app itself. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. How to free version?. Hey Alice, Rather than copy pasting the same reply all over why not tell people how to bypass the subscription? Upon initial launch you see some info screens with a next button, until you end up on the start free trial screen, with no option to just use the free version. So totally misleading as far as I can tell. You have to start the automatically renewing “free” trial to access any portion of the app.

Very sketchy. I downloaded the app to try it and realized I was immediately signed up for a trial which would then charge me 7.99 a WEEK. Of course I immediately tried to cancel and there is no way to do it in the app. It took a lot of effort to find the website (a completely different name than the app), and then find the link to cancel my subscription. The app itself works fine, but it’s really shady to force me to sign up to pay and not give me an easy to way to manage my subscription.

Best tuner ever!. This tuner is better than your average guitar Center tuner that usually take ten minutes to tune my guitar or ukulele with a normal tuner, but with this app, I can tune in a couple seconds if you’re having trouble turning your instrument, just download this app it’s amazing!

Awful. Downloaded because I wanted a quick tuner and it made me get a subscription with free trial with no other option. Annoying but whatever so I get it planning to end it after tuning my instrument and it was very difficult if not impossible too end my subscription without contacting tech support. The easiest tuner app to use quickly. To use quickly and the kicker is it’s more precise than any other tuner I’ve used....Don’t know how those geniuses made it quick AND accurate but they did it and I will certainly appreciate their efforts every time I use it.... thanks guys/girls???

Awesome tuner. I haven’t even used any of the other features… just used the tuner, and it’s awesome! It gives an easy to read picture of where the string is. I miss that it’s not attached to the guitar.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Tried the “free” version and all of the sudden I get three charges of $7.99 in quick succession. Horrible way to do business. Apple won’t fix it. UPDATE: the developer responds by saying I can use the free version. Don’t fall for it folks. I was charged $24 for something I never successfully used. I was never asked whether I wanted to subscribe. They are not offering a refund. They are engaged in a fraudulent business practice and Apple should kick them out of the store now.

Rip off alert. My wife subscribed to this without realizing it and we got hooked on a weekly subscription. Wonderful and Useful. This easy to use digital guitar tuner is a truly intuitive and easy to use app. Even if all you want is to tune your guitar, it’s great but there are also paid features that -for beginners in particular- are great opportunities for learning more!

Are you serious?. When I first found the app And tried it, I loved it, and hit the app purchase button only to find they expect me to pay how much for a suscription to a TUNER? C’mon! Really? Do Not But, Stealth Subscribed. I do not know how I got this app on my phone… it is Stealthy! I’ve been using the Fender guitar tuner for a while but I didn’t know what tuner pro even was. So 1 day recently I just touched it once I swear to you i did not Want a Subscription, and I was surprised my AmEx card had been charged $53-$54 (USD), so I am now protesting/disputing it with my AmEx credit card company. Has trouble differentiating between B and E strings. Overall it’s fine as an app goes, gets the job done but it often has trouble differentiating between the E and B string, which makes it difficult to get a proper reading. You have to have an ear for tuning, if it won’t register

Angry. Downloaded the app in order to tune my ukulele, I realized it was too expensive and I deleted it. I checked my subscription services to see if it gave me a trial so I could cancel it. It did and I canceled my services because I didn’t want it. Fast forward and now it has charged me 8 dollars for a service I don’t even use and I cancelled before hand? I check again and the subscription is there like nothing even happened? So I had to cancel it twice??? I really hope it does not do this again.

If you do the trial it automatically enrolls you.$ 7.99 a week is INSANE for this app. It doesn’t do anything the other apps don’t do. I clicked on a link that showed up on my Instagram page and put my cc info in, thinking that it was free and that my iTunes payment information just needed to be updated but then it said “thank you for your subscription”. Broken String. Your scuffed app that has been “praised by many” caused my guitar string to break. i was testing the accuracy of your app, and it kept saying i needed to tune it tighter, so i was. and then pop! my top string snapped. highly disappointed because i was excited to get into playing without having to buy something to use to tune it. now i have to pay for a new string and a tuner.

Charged for no reason. I got this app for free and was disappointed when it did not work for what I wanted. I then deleted it right away and am now being charged over $8 weekly. My opinion on pro tuner.. Just as a beginner myself, this really helps me play in also seek songs out that might not be my skill level, but help me improve to eventually reach that.

Would not load up. I’ve used this app in the past and didn’t have too much of an issue. However, I just downloaded it again on my new phone and and it would not load. My wifi connection is perfect so it’s not my internet and everything else works fine, so it’s not my phone either

Pretty good tuner, could pick up noise frequencies better. Tuning an electric bass, i had my smartphone less than a foot away from an albeit smallish 30 watt amp, but it seemed to only then be picking up the notes/frequencies accurately. Would be great if you could improve its range /accuracy.

May work great but too expensive. I downloaded this app as I’m curious to try new tuning or guitar related apps. However not offering a free basic version or a reasonable one time purchase of the app caused me to not even try it. Opening the app and having to start off signing up for a subscription with a 7 day free trial starts me off on the wrong foot for any app. Then to see the price points on the subscriptions was an immediate “No” from me. The app looks and sounds great from the descriptions but the prices are too high for me.

This app is great! But a few problems. First off, have to say amazing app! I love how you don’t need to have a real tuner to be able to have your bass tuned. AND if you download this app the only way to avoid the charge is to log into your Apple ID settings and unsubscribe. Even if you don’t have the app on your phone anymore. Very sneaky. AND I was ALSO double charged in one week for the same subscription. Soooooo I am very confused and upset and sad. Already poor, now I’m $20 more poor because of this sneakiness. RIP 😭

Need to Cancel Unsubscribe!. I really would like to cancel this subscription and for some reason I can’t find the account setting to change that. I do not have any purpose for this app anymore and I’m frustrated about the account settings not being easy to locate, please help!

Y’all are awesome!!. Thank you so much!! Y’all are awesome while giving me the amazing satisfaction of being able to tune and finally play my guitar. I always lose my tuner and now i can just find this one much easier!! Loca y’all!!!

$50 a year just to tune my guitar?. This is just too steep to be able to conveniently tune my guitar, when there are far more apps to do just as good of a job for free. I’d even understand a smaller one time fee just for access to one tuner, or way less features. Quite ridiculous there isn’t a free version or a one time payment only for less functions, rather it’s a subscription for something I can just buy for $15 online.

Terrible App. Save your time!! Coming from a musician, There are other apps that do the same exact thing that cost less and are a one-time charge. Spend your valuable time looking for them instead of trying to canx this subscription. I’m not gonna sign up for a subscription just to use the trial, and then go thru extra steps to canx the subscription. Someone actually thinks this is a good business model? If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.

Excellent Tuner. I’ve been using this tuner for 3 years. Even the free version is really good. So many tuning options. Recent update made it even better.

Terrific. Literally only got to tuning up to the D string on my acoustic guitar and I gotta give this app a very high rating. It also provides you with chord progressions that you may not have been familiar with that suit your tastes and needs. Not a MUST have, but definitely worth what your paying for. My two cents.

I CANT USE IT. It will not let me use the tuner I have to buy access to use it and there is no way to use it for free since when you start up the app it takes you straight to a $7.99 trail that you have to pay every week. I saw a comment from the developers for the just the basic tuner but there is no way to get past the of the ad for buying premium

This app needs to be removed. This developer is extremely shady and relies on accidental purchases. On first start the app puts you through a confusing set of questions and popups and bam, before you know it you’ve been charged $54. Shady business practices are pathetic and have no place in the App Store. I’ve requested a refund from the app store and I’d strongly recommend getting the Kala Ukulele tuner app instead.

Start free trial thing then $33 a month. I see a response from Alice saying that you don’t have to do the subscription service, but when you start the app, the only choice you have is to start the free trial. This is a technique used in hopes that you forget or don’t know how to stop the trial. This will get a 1 Star. For those that don’t know, a 1 Star is equivalent to a negative rating. Alice, 1 star until the app starts in a regular mode and then offers the trial or subscription after that as an in-app purchase.

It charged me without knowing. I am giving one star because it charged me. I can’t even find an option to cancel this unwanted purchase. The developer of this app made it in a way to trick the user into purchasing the $7.99 app and no way to cancel it. You wasted my time and made me frustrated all day trying to figure out how to cancel it. I will be worried all week until I make sure it won’t show on my bank statement.

This is a scam app. Do not download this app. It says it’s free with in app purchases. It should say it’s free but we’re just gonna take money from you in a few days. I can’t even find the unsubscribe option. It just takes me to the support page which isn’t very supportive or helpful. Edit:Reply to Developer Ummm... I already tried to use your “free” version. Remember??? You charged my account. You really think I am going to fall for it again?

From Old Newb. Very simple Tuning process(Intuitive), Cant say as to overall Quality though (Sounds Fine to my ear), but I'm inexperienced. Other options: like Chords/Lessen/etc., i have not subscribed or looked at as now, only using the “Tuner”
