Is This A Joke?. There's no reason for an app as simple as this to not be compatible with recent previous macOS versions. Please do better and allow the app to run on older macOS versions, just leave a disclaimer that bugs are to be expected and all will be fine. It runs just fine on iOS and iPad, I can't imagine what could possible stop it from working on macOS. Make the app a seperate purchase if you'd like just please consider making it compatible with older versions of macOS, not everyone is dying to go out and spend $2,000 on a new iMac just to have simple apps become compatible again.

Confusing app from first time user. I read a bunch of reviews, recent ones, about bugs. I wanted to try this out because I am sick of the official Twitter app, which clogs up my feed with interests that I have no interest in. The problem is you cannot really do anything in this app unless you pay for it. But I'm not paying for anything, even a one time payment, unless I can test out the app. Being able to open the app and read a few tweets without being able to like anything or interact with any pages is not testing out an app. What I dislike is that it only shows one small column of tweets. The other columns are taken up with things I don't want to see all the time, my mentions and my messages. I want for most of the page all of the time to be showing me tweets and nothing but tweets. Also, the replies when I see them are very small. I'm not just going to give this app my money unless I know I can customize it to one large, wide column of tweets and other stuff. In the meantime, I'm going to delete this app and keep looking.

Nicely designed but with a dealbreaker. Notifications are a must for a twitter client. It’s disappointing that a $5 app doesn’t have this ability.

Fantastic Client.. My god, the thread feature that takes a tweetstorm and turns it into a legible article is worth the price alone.

Quotes, Likes And Retweets. I’m not able to see whose quotes my tweets or I’m not able to see who RT or like my tweets but apart from that I like the app.

good app but needs more. I love this app since I started to move away from the official twitter app. my only criticism is the lack of notifications in general and would hopefully be implemented at some point

Disappointed. I want to like this but the share function doesn't actually link directly to a retweeted tweet—it links to the retweet. I submitted feedback and got no response, so I'm pretty disappointed. Was hoping for better for my money.

still a broken, buggy mess. another new feature, still no bug fixes. “you can now see polls” except not on the timeline. you have to psychically know there’s a poll, click an otherwise blank tweet to open it full screen, hope your app doesn’t freeze or crash, and then you can actually see the poll. even his new features don’t work. edit: never mind. doesn’t matter anymore. twitter ain’t long for this world.

Great!. Great twitter client! However, I would absolutely love the ability to like or RT a tweet using another account without having to send the tweet to my other account, switch to the account, then find the tweet in my messages. To be clear, this feature doesn’t exist in the official Twitter app either, but I would use Fenix exclusively if this were a feature.

Great, but can be improved. This is an incredible app, I love the layout and overall feel of it. With that being said, there are a few features that could be added. A clear cache would be great, and hopefully easy to add. It would be nice to be able to sort replies by likes rather than defaulting to recent (if Twitter API allows this). It would also be nice to be able to customize swipe gestures (positioning of like/retweet/reply). These last features are likely hard or impossible to implement, but would be nice to have: an in-app translate feature (doesn't just open google translate), and Twitter polls (depends on API). Still a great app, worth the purchase!

Poor Video and Tweetmarker doesn’t work. Other than choppy video (on Wifi and cellular data) and the fact tweet marker doesn’t work, it’s great. But crazy annoying due to these issues. Please fix.

Nearly perfect - needs a thread bubble. It is a near flawless app. Please add a better way to show threads.

Used to be good. App constantly lags and stutters when you scroll. Videos don’t load. New content doesn’t always load. Notifications don’t push. When you click on a tweet to reply, it freezes and you have to close the app. I have the Pro version, but it’s a bit pricy for how buggy it is. Would be nice if they could streamline the app a bit. But it’s only gotten worse in the last two years, so I’m not holding my breath.

Sync Does Not Work. I have this app installed in my iPad and iPhone and have Tweetmarker sync turned on. However it never scrolls to the last read position when I open the app.

iPhone 13 pro latest iOS. Had to uninstall due to constant crashes. Tried reinstalling the app. When it works, it’s great. But so far it works maybe 2 in 10 times I’ve opened it.

Amazing Twitter Experience.. This is an amazing application, that offers buttery smooth scrolling. My only gripe with the experience: there is no way to quickly like, retweet, or reply to a tweet. Using the peek feature brings up the options but, tapping on one just takes you to the tweet itself. None the less, if you’re looking for a new and better experience over the official Twitter app, then look no farther.

Love this app. This app has great features for a Twitter power user. I love the customization options like the ability to add lists as tabs in the main interface. One feature request: let me customize the swipe gesture. I would love for it to open details of the tweet rather than liking or retweeting. A retweet is not an every moment action for me, but expanding details and seeing replies is. Customizability of the swipes would make this app 6 stars :)

The app still in beta. This app shouldn’t be released a lots of major crashes I reported and didn’t fix! I can’t open any account profile and mine!! The app doesn’t sync the last read tweet in the time line

Feature request. Please add the ability to share to this app from other apps. Critical feature! I’ve found this app to be superior to others (such as being able to pick your followers while creating a new tweet)

Horribly buggy. Doesn't even load content more than 10% of the time, its barable if you just want to read tweets, but goodluck loading photos or videos or website link previews. It's god awful, do not waste your money.

More!!!. Help us say no to algorithm software everywhere! Thank you! Fenix renewed my use of Twitter after years of annoyance and information overload. The interface of this application is incredible!

Clairification please. I bought the Fenix app last year, but now basic functions like composing a tweet no longer work without an upgrade to Pro. I understand that apps require ongoing maintenance and development, and there are costs associated that, but information would be helpful. Is the subsequent and additional payment intentional or is the Fenix app’s failure to recognize prior purchase a bug?

Lovely Design But Unstable. Really like the UI of Fenix, in a very limited field of apps especially since their main competitor went money hungry, they have a wonderful eye for the use of space. I enjoy looking at my timeline. However, I use this on the latest, greatest iPhone and iPad and it’s incredibly unstable compared to the average app. I frequently get random shutdowns which would be a major issue if I were composing much of the time. It can’t seem to handle a lot of screen changes or live updating. Hopefully will improve.

Too expensive. It doesn’t load all the content. That’s the most important thing. It’s a fail. How is it here? How can I get refund of price I shouldn’t have paid? I thought it was $1.99. Not $7 Apple refund?

The best twiiter client i have been missing. This is just a top notch client, woeks well, beautiful, allows multiple accounts, customizable shortcuts(columns) to search, your list, etc. and biggest, no more tweet you find are ads(promoted) only at end. Easy buy recommendation

Wonderful App. It is best App for twitter but give 5 star if I knew how to use the trend. I like view different trend on different area. Only can see where I am and access only with search

Crashes at startup. I’ve used this app for 3ish years now worked well for that time. However I updated the app for the first time this week Mar 2022 and now the app crashes at startup and is unusable

Great if your goal is to tweet less and miss info. Update: switched to Tweetbot. Less rate limiting, and it’s more inituative. Changed my rating from 2 to 1 stars I bought this app bc twitter wont let me tweet through the app unless I agree to their new bs data settings. I can tweet fine, but this needs more features. It shouldn’t take 2 clicks to retweet/like something. It’s cumbersome and bad design. This is what needs to be fixed: - Add 1 click likes/retweets - long press to like/retweet would work too - fix the tweet button (it’s hidden behind the keyboard and I have to drag my keyboard down to make it pop up. Sometimes I lose the tweet) And then it’s usable. Bc rn I’ve wasted my money

Waste of money and can’t get a refund. Can’t add multiple accounts, defaults to original account and just adds it again, no editable fields. Multiple crashes on a 13 Pro fully up to date.

No notifications. Would’ve given 5 stars but not be able to get notifications is a real bummer. Especially when you have to pay for this app.

love the app, but it crashes A LOT. i love the way this app handles the timeline, keeping everything in chronological order. but i have never seen an app crash so much over seemingly nothing in all my life. if i look at an image, it will crash to the home screen. if i check a tweet, it will crash to the home screen. if i open the app, it will crash to the home screen. it really is disappointing that it happens so much, as it sours an otherwise fantastic experience

Bait & switch pricing.. I downloaded it because it had a low price to purchase Pro. When tapping on the advertised price, a prompt popped up for an amount twice as much as originally listed. No thanks.

5 stars because I know it will be great!. The only thing I ask for is being able to see my notifications (likes and retweets). That’s the only thing missing to make this perfect.

BUGS. there is no share via DM button. direct messages are buggy, don’t load fully and sometimes don’t show new messages. doesn’t show old conversations. app crashes while removing columns on xs max. i think these stuff should be fixed immediately. great app tho.

Easily the best Twitter client I’ve used since 2006. As a Twitter power user since 2006, I have bought and tested pretty much every Twitter client in the last 14 years. And I am here to tell you this is absolutely my favorite. I am a heavy user of Lists as it helps me focus on specific topics or groups while also reading chronologically. So I don’t have to see the algorithmic feed full of things I’m not wanting to read. Lots of little touches that are really helpful. Keep up the great work!!

Why is the is the bottom dock margin spaced so close to the icons?. This app is THE BEST TWITTER CLIENT. But this Is driving me crazy. It’s close to the icons and nearly touching the post plus circle. Then there is so much space at the bottom due to the iPhone 11 screen-chin. Again, love the app but please fix this - I bought the app because of how the UI looked in the App Store images so it was disappointing. Everything feels so premium besides that. The header is spaced really close to the avatar icon at the top as well. If you are detail oriented like me with attention to design - this could bother you!

Good app, no subscription!. With the advent of subscriptions, there is no longer a really good one time purchase third party Twitter app, but Fenix comes VERY close. DMs can now be deleted so it does everything I need it to do.

Translation optimization. I want the translation to appear directly below or below the tweet when I click the translate button, please update asap, thanks

Really like but one issue. I really like this Twitter client, but syncing between my phone and iPad doesn’t seem to work. This is the one disappointing feature. Otherwise p, I love the interface…especially the media column. Please fix this.

Love the app but missing one feature.. The app had a clean and organized layout. Fenix is a great twitter client unfortunately it lacks notifications.

How can I tip you?. This developer needs a tip jar. I’d gladly continue to tip them based on how much I use this app. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but I don’t need those. This is the closest you’ll get to a Tweetdeck app on iOS.

The new icon is trash and it ruins my whole Home Screen aesthetic. Could you guys take a page out of Apollo for Reddit’s book and let us pick from a number of icons? Maybe even allow community icons? Cuz otherwise this app is fantastic.

Almost Great. UI is awesome. Please fix this bug: Follow/Following button disappears after I unfollowed a few profiles (less than 10). Doesn’t happen with other 3P clients. Also, please add a share button/option for profiles and maybe even an ability to bookmark profiles. Thanks!

Bugs. Can you please implement a feature of searching a hashtag by tapping on it, right now I can’t tap on a hashtag and initiate a search

Clean, but buggy. Picked this over tweetbot because it was a flat price instead of a subscription. Feels like my timeline went on a juice cleanse, and I like that a lot. Took a bit to get used to the UI, but now I like it. HOWEVER - This app is pretty buggy, to the point that it's starting to drive me back to the official client. It crashes often, roughly once or twice a day (with a couple hours of use in between crashes - this is my time sink while waiting for builds at work, etc). Messages column has a bug where it shows a blank square over each message preview. It also has issues loading content, particularly videos. They only load about half the time. Sometimes closing and reopening the tweet fixes it, but sometimes it never loads, so you have to open the tweet in the browser to see the video. Tweet replies also have trouble loading occasionally. It also basically never loads the current like count of a tweet. Loading shouldn't be a problem because you can just pull down to refresh, right? Not implemented anywhere other than the root of most of the columns (it's also missing on the Profile column). That feature would at least provide a workaround to some of the bugs. (It also seems to cache stuff or something, so tapping back and then into whatever you were looking at again results in the same unloaded content.) I like this alternative to the official client, so it deserves more than 1 star, just wow the bugs...

Poor performance. Just picked up a new iPad Pro. I was hopeful that the increased RAM and M1 chip would make Fenix run better, but nope. It still lags, freezes, and causes the iPad to get hot. Too bad it performs so bad, because I love the UI and being able to customize all the columns for my lists.

Great. This is a great app but lacks some features like automatic theme change, I hope that will arrive soon.

Apps are great but require some features. Sync tweet position to iCloud as tweet marker sometimes are unreliable, customisable swipe gesture, the timeline search should only search for the tweet on the timeline, and add new tab options for twitter-wide search instead of just a saved search. Thanks for the work.

Buggy. Some gifs fail to work from GIPHY and the tweets don’t publish. Otherwise decent app but others are better

The good - no adds or promoted tweets - syncs across devices (sometimes) - good for reading timeline - great thread management - can hide retweets - customisable column layout - can quickly open tweet in native Twitter app The bad - when drafting a tweet if you swipe down the draft disappears and is not saved. This is very annoying. (Use Twitter to compose and send tweets) - very frequent crashes - bugs when adding accounts - slow to sync, update timeline, mentions etc - search function very basic - limited copy and paste functionality - web browser unreliable (use Safari option) - support for multiple accounts is basic

Gestures are really frustrating.. Getting really tired of accidentally liking, retweeting or replying to tweets because I slightly swiped right or left when browsing through my timeline. I would love to disable this 'feature' but there doesn't seem to be any setting to turn it off.

Buggy. Every now and then the app just doesn’t open. You have to deinstall and reinstall. Really annoying.

Top Twitter app. A terrific UI – the swipe gestures are the best. I’ve tried a few other apps and they work, but not as smooth as Fenix. Appreciate the smallish app size and that it doesn’t grab all my data, too.

Good UI but becomes laggy. I really like this app and it’s UI but with any extended use/scrolling it becomes laggy and then crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling a few times but always ends with the same result.

Great app for Twitter.. The most customizable Twitter in the App Store. Can you add auto video play option?

Crashing + one annoyance. I've used Tweetbot and Twitterrific before but Fenix is my go-to Twitter client. It's simple, easy to use, and doesn't require a subscription. One issue I'm having on both the iPad 6th gen and iPad Air 4 (both on iOS 15) is random crashing. Thankfully, it keeps the spot where I stopped scrolling so I can continue where I left off. A really annoying problem I encountered is that if I accidentally tap any area outside a composition window, it will close and the tweet would be lost. I'm hoping that the developer would change the behaviour so that if there's already text in the window, it would be saved as a draft.

best Twitter app. Feedback: create an option to hide the tweet button as it gives the app more real estate. as not everyone likes to tweet often.

Full screen option please. I really enjoy the app but I would like the option to view my timeline with the entire screen of the iPad screen and not a split view with Mentions etc.

Simple. What Twitter used to be before all the faffing about with “recommended tweets”, non-chronological timelines, and other nonsense. Also, does not require you to login to Twitter every time like the previous app I was using. Edit: Removed one star because the app doesn’t transfer bookmarked tweets to main Twitter account. It would also be nice to have some way to jump straight to the most recent tweets instead of having to scroll forever if you haven’t been online for a few days.

Not very customizable layout. UPDATE: from 3 stars this got 5 stars now … I figured it out … pls provide faq or short user guide for basic config and setup INITIAL Impossible to disable multi column view on ipad? Why do I need to see Mentions and DM views all the time? How can I configure Fenix on ipad to see just Timeline view? Other than that decent but as a paid app shall be lot better imo

A really great, clean app. My first impressions of this app are really good. It helps you focus on the content more than anything. I wasn’t sure whether to buy this app, but now that I did I’m VERY happy 😀

Uhhh. Wasn’t even going to review this but then the app actually stopped loading tweets. The Themes are cool but despite fleets being live for months there is no fleet integration

Awesome!. Thanks for making such a great app. I love how easy it is to add my searches to the bottom bar. As a photographer, I really enjoy the media view option for those searches, as I follow many other photographers. From a privacy standpoint, I love that this app respects my data privacy. From an experience standpoint, thank you for removing adds and promoted tweets. It feels like I am seeing only what I want to see, as it should be.
