Essentially stole $90. DON’T DOWNLOAD. Horrible app, I didn’t even like the free or $1 trial and there were misleading terms when I signed up which are now not allowing me to get a refund. I feel like I’ve been tricked, which is exactly what they want to do. They probably get most their money from messed up signups, difficulty on the customer to unsubscribed since it’s not like any other app, and relying on the customer not to fight it and lose $90, keep quiet, or then throw back some confusing terms and conditions back in your face to refuse you a refund. It seems like they actually send you to a webpage but inside of the app for the free trial (so it looks like other app free trials) but it doesn’t cancel when you delete the app, and it also doesn’t show up in your App Store subscription list so it looks like you won’t be charged. THIS SUBSCRIPTION IS NOT THROUGH THE APPLE APP STORE. I was charged almost $90 for a two month subscription! It wasn’t even worth the $1 free trial. I’ve seen free apps that are better. I was expecting so much more. I may as well have hired a personal consultant for this price. I tried contacting customer service. Yes, they did get back to me, however they would not give me a refund. I was so excited to start something in the new year to get ready for my wedding and get in shape but this app was a ripoff.

Best at simple walking. I am pretty excited to start my plan and track the progress. The app itself is pretty simple and I like it, clear features and statistics. I would love to see more features in the near future, to be sure that the developers are not stopped working on it.

Do not even consider this. I simply looked at this app online quite a few days ago. No where did it say that I could see, that it was going to charge me for looking at the app by downloading it. I did, big mistake bc I decided it wasn’t the app for me but yet they charged me days later for a trial AND the subscription fee. By then I had deleted it off my phone but still got charged. They have no phone number to call them only an email they send a standard response and basic telling me I have to take pictures of it not working(when I never even tried it-not going to commit to something I wasn’t interested in). They basically give you no choice whether you want this app or not they just bill you, then if you ask them to take it off they tell you that you have to provide pictures that it’s not working. All bcz I decided I wanted to see what the app was about, like I’ve done to other apps but never got charged. Go to their Facebook page, I’m not the only one who has this issue.

Horrible Company - Horrible Support. SCAM-SCAM-SCAM Don’t waste your time with the trial and testing the product before buying. I started the free trial, went through the app and realized it was just a simple step app - nothing great. The same day I started the trial period, I cancelled it. A week later, I’m charged $86 for a two month subscription. I immediately contact their support. Their response, we don’t see the cancelation - ok, not my fault because I cancelled, I don’t know what they are looking at and why they can’t see it. I ask for my money back. Support reply’s that I need to cancel my account and provides a link. I cancel my account and request my money back. Support tells me I didn’t cancel within the trial period 🤦🏼‍♀️. Support them provides me with the 100% money back guarantee and states if I am not satisfied there is a money back guarantee. I read through it. The guarantee request photos of the meal plan and workouts. There are no meal plans or workouts with the walking app. I contact support AGAIN. There is an obvious language barrier as they have no idea what I am talking about and once again provide the same copy and paste message as before. The company scams you into the trial them doesn’t allow you to cancel within the time period and then charges you. Don’t waste your time or money.

Apple HealthKit?. Why doesn’t this app connect to Apple HealthKit? I don’t mind paying for apps that provide value but I use other apps that collect data in HealthKit. The description says this app links to Apple HealthKit. The app does not seem to offer any settings to allow access to the HealthKit. How exactly do you “import and export’ data. I use a program called WaterMinder. WaterMinder and 3 other apps I have read and/or write to HealthKit. Your app should be able to read that data at minimum. This app and the diet app don’t even share water data yet both collect it? User beware. Select one month option or try different app.

Crashes. Non Stop. I want to like the app. I like something to tell me what to do. The problem is that the app constantly crashes in the middle of a workout, and basically doesn’t record the workout, only where it picks back up if you Re-start. I need my gold star for doing the workout, and after an hour of walking, it shows I walked .26 miles when I walked more than 4. I have used it three times and it has crashed on two of those workouts, this morning crashing 4 times. I could just as easily download walking workouts from Self magazine or something. Don’t waste your money.

Great Customer Service!!. Great app!! Everything i needed and i was Uneasy about not having a number available for customer service, however even though it’s through email my customer service experience was awesome!! A1 customer service! Prompt and extremely helpful!

Really good. I like it. You started off answering some easy questions about yourself to make sure you got the exact kinda walks you needed. When walking I got to have a fun time with my sister and talk while walking two miles. It told me how many miles I had left which helped me a lot. I wish it had a voice to tell me how far I was so I didn’t have to keep checking my phone and wasting battery but everything else was great. I really do recommend this app.

Need to advertise the important details. I’m honestly not sure if I missed the part that said “1 day free trial” but I was loving the app the first day I used it and when I tried to use it again the next day it’s literally FORCING me to purchase a plan.... it has a countdown for 15 mins that says “hurry before this deal is over” so I waited and all it did was sit at 0:00. If I seen that it was 1 day free trial only I probably wouldn’t have downloaded and just because of that I don’t plan on using it. Should’ve just said that from the beginning.

DO NOT USE THIS APP. I downloaded the app for the free trial, wasn’t impressed with the platform, and subsequently stopped using the app. I got rid of the app, and didn’t give it another thought. Without any notification of any sort, I was charged $86 a few days ago. When I emailed them to get a refund (because I did not want the charge or the service), they responded with a standard response saying that it was non-refundable. In fact, they said that in order for me to get a refund of any sort, I would have to provide pages of evidence demonstrating that I followed the program for three weeks without fail. That means pictures of meals, proof that I did every workout, and more. Ridiculous. I don’t have time for that. Who does? This is a company that obviously makes money off of unsuspecting people who just want to “get fit”, but end up getting screwed.

THEY WONT LET ME CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. DO NOT GET THIS APP: its a total scam they will steal your money. after i subscribed i realized i hated the app and i didn’t want to pay for the $87 every two months so i immediately tried to cancel my subscription and no matter how many times i try i cant do it and i’ve emailed them so many times and it’s the same auto generated message each time telling me to follow certain steps but the steps don’t work cuz they make you put in your email and they’re supposed to send you an email letting you cancel but i never get the email and they won’t cancel my subscription and i literally have to shut my card off to avoid being charged since they will not let me cancel. i hate this app. it’s a scam. not even worth 1 star.

Hard sell for money before you even use it. Even though app is “free”, there is a hard sell for money before you can even begin using the app the first time. When you start a walk, by default it turns off any music or audiobook you have playing. You can turn that “feature” off, but it still turns off my audiobook and plays Apple Music instead. Very little value and metrics are not to be believed. I entered 20lb weight loss and it said I could accomplish that by walking 10 minutes a day for only 36 days. Right. Overall, other apps are much more useful for less money. Avoid.

They won’t cancel my subscription!. UPDATE: IT’S A SCAM!!!! Don’t get scammed into this app! They say it’s a 7 day trial period but I cancelled my subscription before the 7 day trial ended and they still charged me after the 7th day! After I emailing them 5 times, they finally told me that I won’t receive a refund. They just straight up charged my credit card after I cancelled the subscription within the allotted 7 day trial period and they refuse to refund me! I tried to cancel my trial before the subscription took place and followed all the necessary steps but they haven’t confirmed the cancellation nor have they replied to my emails. I just received the charge for the 2 month subscription today even though I tried cancelling beforehand. It’s a waste of money and they won’t cancel your subscription!

SCAM. Can I leave zero stars? Is that possible. This app popped up to me as an advertisement. It touted individualized plans and weight loss planning. Within the app there is only times walking essentially. Cool, I guess, but not suitable for what my needs are. The advertisement certainly did not mention $87 for two months (nearly $50 a month to track my steps are you kidding? My phone automatically does that already). Emailed support the moment I was billed this exorbitant amount only for them to tell me too bad, their sneaky policy of roping people in for so much money got them another quick $87 for an app I don’t even need. BUYER BEWARE.

THIS IS A SCAM. Read the reviews. SO many users were confused by the “promo” that leads to a charge of $86 after 7 days. And when you request a refund, it is immediately denied because we are all allegedly can’t read. This is a systemic issue, arguably a deceptive trade practice, where many, many unsuspecting users are obviously confused. I am filing a complaint with the App Store and (I am also an attorney with class action & tech experience.) For now - if you are reading this and have also felt scammed - write a review about your experience. Loudly. Don’t just post one star. Also, the app is advertising heavily on social media. Write reviews about your experience on their social accounts and online ads as well.

Weird App with Scam Billing Setup. The app itself is okay, it’s not great. it’s kind of confusing and hard to figure out what to do wear. BEWARE OF HOW THIS APP BILLS. I did the one week trial for 1$. I used the app once. I tried to cancel the subscription, but didn’t find it with my others in my apple ID space. I get busy and forget; I then get an e-mail from the app creators that I have been billed for 87$ for two more months of app use. Excuse me?! I don’t know if these creators live on this earth, but there is a global health pandemic and I cannot afford this. I have contested this charge with the app, but I have yet to hear from them. I don’t have high hopes. This is basically a scam, where you will get no notice when they re-subscribe you without permission and charge you almost $100. It’s egregious. BOTTOMLINE: There are better, cheaper, walking apps out there that are not outrageously looking to swindle you out of your hard earned $$$.

Beginner. I did not realize that after the Tutorial I was to go 1 step farther so my first day was not recorded. That was my user error. Not the system. I had a great walk exercise experience. I took a walk route that usually took an hour and did it inn45 min. After the first fast walk we cycled again to brisk fast again then the cool down walk!!

No stars. It’s a SCAM.. WORD TO THE WISE: DON’T FALL FOR THIS APP! Not only is the UI on his app counterintuitive, they tried to scam me into spending $90 on a subscription that I didn’t knowingly sign up for. When I contacted support I was told that because I subscribed from a web browser, the subscription wasn’t shown under my App Store purchases. A weird loophole that allowed them to obsequiously try and charge me an exorbitant amount for a 2-month subscription. I’m glad they weren’t able to do it. Run — for fitness, yes — but away from this scam of an app, and find an alternative that won’t take advantage of you. The only upside is that I learned a lesson that didn’t cost me and I will be much more careful in the future.

Judging by the information you've provided, you subscribed from a web browser for cross-platform Fitness by GetFit. So far you have a premium subscription billed right after the end of the trial week (with the $1 setup fee). The whole charge for the subscription period is billed as a single transaction. You can cancel any time within the trial period without getting charges. After the trial ends, any charges are non-refundable.

Tricky. I was never told the amount for this. I saw it was one dollar for the first week (or the first day?!) — but after reading other reviews I’m too scared to continue. I don’t know what the price is!! It does not seem to be integrated with the Apple health app —and the amount of steps is wrong. When I was first sold this app through Instagram, it asked me a whole bunch of questions it took 5 to 10 minutes. But then once I paid the one dollar I was instructed to download the app which didn’t remember any of the questions that you asked me on Instagram and then it told me to answer more questions which were not the same questions and not as detailed so the advertisement is a trick.

Update to my first review. I’m still loving this app. I’m understanding the warmup and cool down coaching as that’s a normal part of any experience program. For my health reasons , walking is the ONLY form of exercise I’m able to do because of my severe rheumatoid arthritis, multiple back issues, severe chronic pain and balance issues. I’m stuck using a cane...not to my liking as I’m young. My mid 50’s. I used to lift weights and did minor body building, and my yoga was just taken away from me due to my balance issues. So, this app is my only go to for now. I can use it in my home like I have to when it’s raining like it is today. It’s great outdoors. I love to see my route I’m taking as I change routes almost daily. My day route is very different from my night route so it’s good to see just where I’ve walked and it goes right to my Apple Watch. I’m currently in competition with my future daughter in law so I’m having a blast with this app. Thank you for making my exercise routines much easier and fun.

The “tricks” by the app maker.. I downloaded this app based on its description and reviews. It seemed to be just what I was looking for (yay). After one day of use, the app was “hijacked” with subscription plans designed to force a customer buy in order to continue to use the app. I no longer had access to the app .. just the “select your purchase plan” screen I could not remove. It is important that you clearly disclose that the app is available for a one day trial before having to purchase a required subscription plan. Honestly, I would have considered a purchased but not when I am hijacked!! I deleted the app and move on to other choices. I found the experience absolutely frustrating!

Walking App. Think this app will keep me on target to lose the weight that I need to lose and to keep it off. I’m Type 2 diabetic along with having having blood pressure problems and thyroid problems. Looking forward to using starting tomorrow. I have a FitBit that will help me track my steps and as I work as a Foster Grandparent in the elementary school in the town where I live.

Don’t download unless you want to pay. Update: I had sent 3 emails back and fourth with “Eve” from customer service who said each time she was not going to refund me. I emailed again with the screenshot of this and the developer response letting them know I will update with what they said. Eve then said She was unable to refund me because I put in a bank claim, however, Eve was unable to refund me before that!! They really are scammers. Don’t download this app unless you intend to pay over $80 for it. I downloaded this signed into it, realized it wasn’t what I thought it was then deleted the app. They charged me $89 a week later for a 2 month membership. Before I deleted the app I checked my apple subscriptions and nothing was there, assuming there was a free trial and I needed to cancel it. Emailing customer service explaining it was a mistake and I did not even use the app, they said they were unable to refund. I can’t afford to spend that kind of money on something I’m not even using. Rude.

Sneaky App. I recently wanted to start counting my daily steps in divided sessions in order to help me lose weight. My trial was going to end July 13th & I requested cancellation on the 9th. They decided to be sneaky and not send me the confirmation link until the 16th and then charged me the next day $82. It’s sad that a company like this was so late in cancelling an order but was so quick in taking my money that they knew I did not want to spend on them. I am currently waiting for them to contact as soon as possible, and I am potentially filing a dispute and pressing charges. Don’t even attempt to download the app and start the free trial. The “workouts” aren’t as helpful and the steps are only counted when you start a session. Be wise with your money & spend it elsewhere, especially, when the company is so late in their cancellations & emails. I’m disappointed that a company is this eager to take someone’s money .

RIP OFF -app doesn’t work unless you use ALL their apps. I just wanted to keep track of walking workouts and wanted some goals for the month. But i walked and couldn’t enter the info into this app because in order to track information about your workouts you have to download their different workout apps and diet app and god knows what else. You literally cannot enter info about anything unless you do it through one of their apps. I paid 9.99 and cannot use this app to just track my basic walks. Really disappointing about how UN-USABLE this app is, and that they charge so much. I want a refund.

A great walking app. I’ve been impressed with this app so far. The daily workout schedule naturally progresses so you always have the feeling of how great your accomplishment really is. If I were to ask for anything, it would be to adjust the weight loss workouts once you increase the intensity level for yourself. But maybe it is and I’m just missing it.

Needs some revision. Stretches before walk, where can I find before I begin? As a beginner the voice rattled off 3-4 pre Stretches and then 5 minute timer starts, wow that is too fast and I couldn’t remember the description. Can the Voice describe one at a time and let the participants do each exercise after each description? How can I make adjustments to my set up, because as a beginner there is no way I can do 3 sessions in a day. I will be doing one half-an-hour walk per day for a good month before I can increase. Waste of money. They got almost $200 out of me for this “free” trial that also signed me up for a “subscription “; the new way to scam people out their money these days, that automatically charges you for their dumb product. If you aren’t paying attention to your bank statement you don’t know they have their hands in your pocket. Customer service for this app is ready with their “we are so sorry but..” replies to your request for any refunds. Very negative experience with this app and as I see from the ratings, many others have been bitten too.

Not as displayed in advertising.. Unless I missed something, I was disappointed to learn that the actual app doesn’t include some of the visuals displayed in the advertising. Had this app offered a 7-day free trial as other apps do, I would have been much more satisfied, and felt I knew what I was actually purchasing. For many, this app would be great, but didn’t turn out to be what I, personally, was looking for (I need the visuals to stay motivated!). I’m bummed that I paid as much as I did without getting access to see how the app works, first - should have trusted my instincts! I wish I could be refunded - I purchased and was immediately charged.

Don’t forget to cancel!!!. Don’t forget to cancel your subscription before the free trial they not only conveniently don’t send a reminder to cancel but send a email thanking you for payment! I forgot about the app due to a busy week and meant to cancel but as a person who reads their email everyday I never got a warning like 95% of companies do! How are you automatically charging $90 for two months but do not remind customers to cancel if need be. That is poor customer service if you ask me. I am highly upset I normally make my own reminder to cancel but again this was a busy week. If they fix this the review could be better.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS. Do not sign up for any kind of trial with this app. They do not advertise that once your trial ends you will be charged over $90. This is absolutely ridiculous. No matter what services they might provide it’s still an app and you’re going to be charged a bunch of money only for 2 months of service. I tried to reach out to some sort of customer service representative to explain I didn’t have $90 to spend on an app during a pandemic but all I got was an automated response. A trash app made to scam people. Do not download.

Absurd and Unrealistic. Today I downloaded this app and entered my data for the weight loss program. The four sessions of walking 32 minutes each on the first day seemed a bit much, but attainable. Curious, I skipped ahead to see how much the walking would increase over the month. By the 18th day of the 28 day plan, this app expected me to have 8 sessions of walking 70 minutes each during that day. That is more than nine hours a day of walking. The entire month was like that. I cancelled the trial immediately, because I don’t have nine hours a day to exercise. Honestly, for $9.99 a week, there has to be a realistic app out there. This isn’t it.

Update from zero stars to four. My original review wasn’t good, but I was able to successfully get refund after explaining a misunderstanding with customer service, I never actually used the app so I can’t say anything about that but I can say customer service did come through for me. I’m relieved and I would try one if there apps again in the future I would just make sure to cancel correctly if I needed to

Overpriced, Major Scam Vibes. First of all this app is extremely overpriced for the content it actually contains—you can find what it offers in free apps with very little effort. Upon realizing this a few minutes after downloading the app, I went to cancel my trial subscription and couldn’t find it listed in the subscription area of my phone. I assumed I’d cancelled and wouldn’t be charged. Nope, still charged, I had to cancel somewhere else entirely and was charged an absurd fee for this useless app. Customer service was of course unhelpful little lemmings. Major scam vibes from this entire company.

Some features needed. Update: The app is working for me but I have two more requests that may have been mentioned in other reviews. My husband and I went to the gym to get out of the heat but I didn’t have my phone and couldn’t log the workout. We ended up leaving because I didn’t want to do the workout twice just to log it and unlock tomorrow’s workout. First, the ability to log a workout after the fact if you forget your phone or don’t have it to log the workout during your walk. Second, an Apple Watch capability to make up for not having the phone in hand during any given workout. Original Review: “I just used this app for the first time and I already love it. I haven’t read all of the reviews so, forgive me if this has been mentioned before. I like that I was able to turn on GPS and track my walk but there’s no obvious place to go back and look at my route and details after everything has been closed out. I’ve looked all over the app and can’t find a way to go back so, if that’s not currently a feature please add it. If this is a feature please make it more obvious.”

THIS IS A SCAM. This app stole money from my account. This app was downloaded to my device by accident and there was no where in the app to cancel the subscription. I emailed them within the trial period and I was charged $90 and the company refused to issue a refund. They then told me that I could get a refund if I uploaded images of a meal plan that is app does not even offer. Customer service is patronizing and not helpful, they will deny your refund no matter what the reason. I will be contacting my lawyer to seek legal action and leaving a bad review with the Better Business Bureau.

Why pay $89 every two months when you can pay $9.99?. I downloaded this app and was unable to utilize the free week trial before it renewed.* A charge of $89 was deducted from my account. This amount covers only 2 months of the app, which isn’t justified at all by what the app offers, there are better apps for that price and cheaper out there. ** I would have cancelled during the trial but since it was a free trial it didn’t show up in my “subscriptions” when I had a moment to do so. I’m a parent dealing with virtual teaching an elementary age kid, my state is literally on fire, and I’m also juggling the responsibility of trying to move cross country and start from scratch. When I saw the charge I immediately contacted the company and requested a refund. They denied the refund and were cheerily petty about it. I just wanted to let folks know that if you cancel the subscription through their website you will get a customer loss prevention offer for a free 30 day trial and only have to pay a more reasonable $9.99 per month after that.

Beware of cancelling. Just an FYI if you found this app not useful like me while in the trial, there is a multi step process to cancel. The first link won’t directly cancel you even though for me it seemed the case. Ony the follow up email sent will have a link that sends you to the true cancel page. Make sure you go through it all. I’m giving this a 1 star since I was refused a courtesy refund when I realized I was charged after the trial window thinking I had already canceled. I won’t be using the 2 months / $80 service. I explained my situation the day I was charged and was still denied so my money just went down the drain and want to make sure others don’t fall into wasting their money as well.

Walk away - scammer warning. I read another review saying they had paid for the trial, then cancelled the same day but then got billed for the full membership a week later. I decided to take a chance and lo and behold, exact same experience. I cancelled through the app store, then received the “we’re sorry to see you go!” confirmation email but still got billed $30 a week later. This “company” is obviously a bunch of scammers just trying to steal your money. Don’t give them the benefit of the doubt like I did. Just walk away. Now to go call my credit card company to set up a dispute....

Crap crap and more CRAP!. The app gives you a one week trial. After that one week, they charge you OVER $80. I tried to get a refund, as I was only 30 minutes late to cancelling the automatic charge, and I was met with a ridiculous email. This is all during a global pandemic, where most of us can’t afford anything, let alone $80 for a crap walking app. They refused to refund me. Worst app I’ve ever donated, and the instructions on the app aren’t even clear. Please don’t subscribe to them. All they do is take money from people who need it

Sneaky charges, terrible customer service. Like so many others on the reviews here, I feel misled and scammed by this app. Tried the trial period and after looking at the app for one day decided I would be canceling. After cancelling in the app I received what looked to be a confirmation email about my cancellation, right before the trial ended (another sneaky tactic). Then I had another email with charges for almost $90. When I contacted customer service to tell them I had cancelled already within the trial period they said I had to go to another link and didn’t qualify for a refund. I will never recommend this app to anyone and I am extremely disappointed that any app would try to scam their users in this way.

They took my money and would not give me a refund. I downloaded this and I ended up getting sick so I couldn’t really go out to use it. I paid the 1 dollar, however, because they’re not part of Apple I couldn’t go into my subscriptions and cancel it. Also, the way to cancel it is so complicated. I reached out to them and told me my claims were not valid to get a refund even though in their “policy” the reasons I had matched it. Moral of the story, they took out 87$ without even a reminder and if you don’t cancel in time they will no care to give you that money back I don’t know why.

First walk!. Edit: might be a bug, might be me missing something- it looks like my daily walks aren’t being logged? It still says 0/36 on the ‘Personal Workouts’ count even though I’m on day three. I’m 25 and overweight- I don’t mind the way I look, but I do mind the way I feel. I’m way to young for this much back pain!! So I downloaded this app, and bought the 6 month package in the hopes that if I pay for it I should use it. I just completed my first walk- I love that the app walks you through simple warm up stretches, and I really appreciate the posture advice. I have really bad posture, so it was nice to have a reminder to focus on it. I also like how clean and professional the app looks. I’ll update when I’ve used it for awhile, but my first impressions are very, very good.

I’m afraid I don’t love it.. Beginner program—you walk for weeks and weeks and weeks and rarely make it past a 20-minute walk. Next level up: Intermediate: you go from an 11-minute walk on Days 1 and 2, nothing on Day 3, and then weeks and weeks and weeks of roughly 42-47 minute walks. It’s a bit of a leap. There doesn’t really seem to be any progression within either of the first two levels. On one, you stay stuck on approximately 20 minutes forever, and on the next, you jump from 11 to 42+ minute walks in a matter of two days, then stay there. I would have privately shared this feedback with the developer, but I was unable to find a method to contact within the app. I did receive a “Do You Like This App?” prompt before I had time to really evaluate, though.

Scam. This is a poorly managed app. I had canceled my trial, thinking it was also canceling my subscription due to the “Follow this to cancel your subscription”verbiage on the app. Then, I was charged $84 two months later without any warning or notice of any kind. When I spoke with support and explained to them I do not wish to further continue use with this app and their instructions to cancel subscription were unclear they would not refund me. Very disappointing and weird a company would not want to be fair with their pulling of payment! Scam - like.

Decent but Pared Apps Do it Dirty. This is really no better than your built in walking app. It shows you some nice routs to try which might be nice but because all the other apps have hidden fees (and Im sure this one does too) it makes the pared experience totally not worth it. I like the idea of tracking all my health progress in one communicating family of apps but when you want me to pay 10+ a month each then thats a no go.

Maybe I missed something. I tried the app for the first time today, so I’m only on day one. But I don’t get why I’d pay for this. The warmup was some instructions that were given really fast so I couldn’t follow them. I guess I was supposed to remember everything to do? Then the walking guidance was only some instructions at the beginning. No encouragement no update. No reminders to maintain my posture. And the instructions that were given weren’t even that good. This is really not worth a subscription. The free version of Runkeeper is much much more interactive and effective. I see now why you aren’t even giving a short trial. If it had been free I’d probably be giving five stars because I see where you’re going. But this is an MVP that should be free to early adopters. Where’s the integration with the Health app and Apple Watch? It’s way early for you to be charging for this. Also, bug report: I navigated to other apps on my phone and each time I returned to the walking app my steps were reset. It also never tracked my speed or any of the other stats. I have app to track stats, so yours doesn’t need to do it. Why try to do all of that poorly when you should be perfecting your offering of real walking guidance?

Awful Customer Service. **Update** Was reached out to by GetFit asking me to contact them to further assist me. They continued to tell me I cannot be refunded because I did not cancel 24 hours before the trial ended. After many more conversations.. they did not help me and held firm to not refunding me even though they have proof I have not used the app past the second day of the 7 day trial. NEVER USE THIS APP OR THE OTHERS THIS COMPANY OWNS. This includes: Hole Fitness Workout, Walking Tracker, Diet & Meal Planner, Yoga Poses, Meditation & Sleep. ***************************** I will never use this app again. The app was not what I expected. I used it once and just incase I wanted to try it out again, I delayed my cancelation. I set a reminder to cancel by the 7th day of the free trial. Before I even could cancel, I was charged. I was annoyed by this but I’ve been in situations like this with other services. Companies respect their customers and refund them when they don’t like what they offer. Not this app. After multiple communications, every representative has said I do not qualify for a refund. They took $90 from me and will not pay it back. I only used the app once during the free trial. Even after explaining my financial situation they just told me to enjoy the app. I will never use this app again and I warn everyone to stay away. Their bottom line is money and not the customer.

Worst app don’t bother. The amount you pay you’d expect a great plan or walking tracker. Unless you have a smart watch it’s useless

MONEY MAKING SCAM. Signed up for one week trial, didn’t find app useful so I cancelled before the trial expiration date using the subscription management in the app. Low and behold, checked my bank account 24 hours later and found that I had been charged for 2 months. Contacted the company and raised the issue. Their cancellation confirmation email went to my spam instead of my inbox, also I didn’t realise there was a second step to their cancellation process which I did not know about because instructions were in the email that went to spam. Company refused because “it was against company policy” to offer a refund in this case. Never have I been required to cancel anything using two separate links! It was a money making scam for a money hungry company that does not care about customer satisfaction. This app should be removed from the App Store immediately.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD - read the reviews first. Unfortunately, this app and the company behind it was an incredible disappointment. I attempted to cancel after the free trial and believed I had however, like all other reviewers, I am now realizing that I had not and I have now lost $115. I emailed the company and explained that I believed I had cancelled but sadly they didn’t care and refused to refund the money. I wish I had read these reviews before downloading as this is clearly a very common experience. The app itself doesn’t have much functionality and there are far superior fitness apps out there. I agree with other reviewers that Apple should investigate this app’s poor conduct.

Customer Service. I forgot to cancel my free trial in time and was billed the full amount for the subscription, but unfortunately I couldn’t afford to pay for the full app at the time. I emailed their support team and promptly received help from a staff member named Eve, and after explaining my situation to her was given a full refund despite not being entitled to one. It was a brief, easy process and Eve was very friendly and polite.

Scam - do not download!. Don’t download this app! They make it seem like you’re not subscribe to it as it doesn’t appear on your AppStore subscriptions and then charge you $90 for 2 months subscription after 1 week. After reading the reviews I realize it is a scam so I didn’t bother asking for a refund. Waste of money and the app doesn’t provide much functionality. Don’t download it!

Waste of time subscription based model. Pretends to be free while you’re setting up your account but then wants you to pay $50 a year for a STEP COUNTING APP! There is a ‘free’ version that lasts 3 days before auto billing your account. And then the devs respond to the negative reviews saying “uwu we’re sorry our app didn’t meet your standards uwu” Greedy devs like this are a plague that have singlehandedly ruined the App Store.

Great app. Really enjoying all it has to offer. As someone motivated to walk more this has everything I could want. My only gripe is that the Apple Watch app works separately rather than syncing with a walk you have started on your phone, if this was fixed I would be pleased it’s annoying having to choose between one or other.

Also ignore any “reasonable” responses they post in response to my review. That’s what they do. Sound all reasonable while trying to feed you their BS. Just look at the reviews, they’re either “amazing” or “scam”. Can’t believe I missed it. GetFit apps, I’m happy to amend this review in return for a refund. I’m the customer you’ve left with “12months premium access” to gift their kids for Christmas after you cleared out the Christmas account. I don’t want more of your app, I want my $115 back so I can go shopping. Thanks.

Don't get scammed and disrespected. They wanted a review, here we go. They tried to scam me out of $130 AUD for their app. I used once on week 1 and they tried to enforce an unfair policy and not refund my money after a week's use. What's more important? GetFit and Appyfurious' greed, or CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION? Even when I expressed I wanted to tell others about the app and to support their company, that was not enough to get me my rightful refund. I don't want you to go through what I had to. Feel free to each out if you have any follow up Q's.

They keep charging me. I have contacted this team twice. I have unsubscribed twice, I keep emailing asking why I am being charged.....?!?!? My $180 needs to be refunded as per my last 2 emails.

This is a scam. They are conduct misleading behaviour by claiming one dollar for a program but then sting you a lot more money. I would not use this app as they are misleading you. Also their support mislead. Their app should be banned. When you ask for a refund they refuse and hide behind obscure conditions. This should be banned from the App Store. Absolutely Ticked Off. It ticks me off when you are not transparent up front that you need to buy a subscription when there has been no mention of costs in any of the download or advertising. Even to get an understanding of BMI and how it can improve it leads to a cost. Just be honest up front. I wouldn’t have wasted my time or yours, but at least I could make a fair informed decision instead of being mislead.

Don’t sign up. They say you can cancel within 7 days otherwise you get charged a year - don’t believe it. You can’t cancel through apple subscription, you have to email through to their company for cancellation and even when you provide proof of payment they still don’t refund !! It’s over $100 you’ll never see again

Developers lie. This app ISN'T free. You can't get past a page 'inviting' you to sign up for a period. I had it on my phone for one day and deleted it. Don't waste your time. Use 'Map My Walk' ( a highly functional and free app)

Treadmill. It’s a great app but when I do the short walks I like to do some on my treadmill and it doesn’t calculate anything because it’s always only doing it based on gps and it looks like I’m not moving it would be great if the walk workouts had the options for outdoor walk and indoor walk and base it on the steps not gps.

Warm ups. I do love this app but with the warm ups I wish they had pictures or video to show me what I’m meant to be doing. But everything else I love

You get three DAYS of free trial which let’s face it isn’t very visible and easily miss the insane amount of money for only two months is more expensive than a gym membership where you actually get help and support. Canceling this is an absolute mission I tried to cancel like every other subscription through my iTunes account and BAM another two months taken out of my account. I really do not appreciate the bait and switch tactic here!. It says there is a free trial but there isn’t. If you are not paying attention al a sudden you will be billed. If your app is any good let people try it and then they will buy! This builds no trust at all!

Broken subscription system. I have tried to unsubscribe from this app THREE times. I have been stolen from by this app THREE times. Being hard on cash and not expecting over $80 coming out of my account THREE months in a row has screwed me over. Fix your system. Allow me to unsubscribe. Absolute scam. Have been going back and forth over the details of them suddenly billing me $116 Canadian for 2 months!!! My app says I don’t even have a subscription to manage. They will not refund yet I had canceled trial as it seemed fishy to ask for a credit card number for a “free” trial. It’s a brutal business to be taking that amount of money for an app that I never subscribed to during a pandemic when everyone is just trying to get by.

Have to Pay to Walk? Ridiculous. Unfortunately there is nothing on this app to share. Not willing to pay.

App is a scam. Their 7 day trial is a bait. This app doesn’t even appear in your apple subscriptions. So there is a good chance that you might forget that you enrolled for their trial. Customer support is a complete waste of time. If you ask for a refund even on the day the payment was processed, they will tell you that you aren’t eligible for a refund since you gave consent earlier. I wish I had read the bad reviews before. Word of advice to the developers - to be successful in the app business, earn your customers’ respect and trust by building a good product and not by scamming people like the way you did. You are losing customers and hence, money in the long run.

Do not install!. I downloaded the app for $1.00, deleted it because I didn’t like it.... and then received a $115.00 tab on my credit card from them and I can’t manage my subscriptions on apple, and my credit card company won’t fix it because I agreed to the $1.00 charge. Where is the sense here? This app kinda stinks, but that’s not the point- the point is I work for minimum wage and this app just stole 10 hours of work from me when I don’t even want/have the app. I do not have $115.00 just kicking around. I liked it but. I really liked the app, like a lot, tracked everything and included trails nearby and their time and distance etc and it was free and just had to subscribe if you wanted more features...not the case, i used the app maybe once and it worked fine until i opened it again and I couldn’t use it anymore and i had to pay or I could get off the subscribe page. I know you have to get money somehow but make the app pay for and not free

WARNING SCAM ALERT. I was charged USD$1 on October 5, then WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION was charged USD$86.99 for two months through a “PAYPAL SUBSCRIPTION” *UPDATE RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER Oct 14/20* I did in fact email your support line with no response. And I *did* call the number on my invoice (actually a Call Center in Cody, Wyoming) and the recording said that there wasn’t anyone there, to leave a message, and to email the place I had already emailed. My billing invoice said NOTHING about the $1.00 being a subscription. I deleted the app because it wasn’t worth it. Your company, Tebepaket Inc., is listed on 3 different apartment addresses, 2 in Brooklyn. That makes it sketchy—and the owner, YAUHEN KANCHYNA, is a Ukrainian whose LinkedIn said he was a student at Columbia. Please refund my money immediately so this does not escalate.

Tricky to Cancel Subscription. The app itself is fine, I can’t complain. However I decided I no longer wanted to use the app. On my iPhone I went to my settings -> subscriptions -> cancelled the subscription. OR SO I THOUGHT. 2 months later I get $113.00 CAD charge from this app. I look online to figure out how I’m supposed to unsubscribe. I had to redownload the app, log in, go to my profile, scroll to the bottom to settings, then go to manage subscriptions which then sends you to an unsubscribe page where you have to enter your email again and unsubscribe. It should not be that difficult to find out how to unsubscribe from these apps. Nor should you be able to look at your subscriptions on your phone and the get fit app shows $0.00 billed and yet I got charged. I have reached out for a refund. Hopefully this will be resolved. Just be cautious when trying to end the subscription, because it is possible you didn’t.

No free trial. Very expensive app with no free trial. you have no idea if it is going to be compatible with what you are looking for. Not worth risking $14.50 USD to find out.

First time user!. For my first walk, I really enjoyed it! I like the way the instructor talks you through the translations and explains how to walk to support your body for best performance! My only recommendation would be that the app linked to your Fitbit or iWatch to get more accurate steps.

Walking. I love this app it’s so easy to follow and it basically does everything for me except the walking I can’t wait until my next day to do more!!!!!!

Ads ruined any potential.. Day 2 trying to use the app and an add to but a subscription opened up and rendered the app unusable. I opened up again today before my walk and the same countdown ad selling a subscription forced me to close and delete the app. Showed promise, and I likely would have subscribed with my wife as we are starting our training for longer hikes. As a solution architect I don’t like gimmicky garbage in solutions.

Does not work. I downloaded the app and when following prompts it took me to a subscribe screen. I selected the 6 months and once I confirmed payment through App Store the screen wouldn’t change. I was not able to access the app. And I requested a refund through App Store and it said my purchase was not available for a refund. So I paid for 6 months worth and cannot even use it.

Trial Period Drama. I cancelled this before the trial was up but did not receive an email confirmation (did not realize I had to receive this) and even though I contacted this company immediately when I saw the charge, they are refusing to refund my $86. Update — despite numerous emails and phone messages (as GetFit does not answer the phone, ever) I did not get an agreeable response from GetFit until after posting this review. Buyer beware.

Give me back my money. This app is a scam. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. If anybody is paying attention from the company, give me back the over $60 you’ve STOLEN from me. You have WRONGLY charged my card on multiple occasions for a subscription that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. I have contacted through email support and allegedly the account has been cancelled, but now it’s not??? This app is a scam. Don’t even sign up for the free trial, if you want to save the headache.

SCAM. This app is a SCAM. The trial is not free, they steal your info and charge you $86. BEWARE. I’ve already begun an investigation with my credit card company. UPDATE: my credit card company refunded me and said they’re aware of this scam. You also can google “get fit app scam” and see like 20 other peoples reviews of how awful and deceitful this app is. Keeps good company. I like this app bcos it’s like a little personal coach. There are great things to read while walking and it offers you challenges too in order to help you achieve your goal. Thank you for this app.

The added structure I needed. I like the app and all of the guided elements. Plusses would be (and maybe they are in the paid version/plan) music during the walk part or some way to tap in to your music or easily or to be prompted to do so, cues for hydration, and visuals for the warm ups so you know you are doing them correctly.

Scam. I never write reviews. If I don’t like a app I just move on but this app is so bogus that I had to say. Please don’t try the free trail on this app. When you try to cancel they don’t acknowledge your request they they bill you 89 for two month of nothing. This is not even a custom walking app. After being charged I send them a email requesting a refund they never responded to that email. Ppl please this app is a waste of money.

App does what it’s intended ,customer service is outstanding!. Limited use of the app ( I rely solely on Apple Watch for all tracking now) but it seemed to work as intended. What I was most impressed with was stellar , prompt customer service !

Scam. I have tried several times to cancel my subscription. None of my attempts have worked because yesterday morning I was charged $93. I’ve emailed support four times trying to explain that I cannot afford that during a pandemic with no response and even tried putting “technical issues” in the subject field like they’ve suggested to do in other reviews. Please do not waste your time and hard earned money on this.

Very happy. First outing went really well. I’ve been taking walks a few times a week and this app gives me the information I need in order to accomplish my goal of losing a few pounds. I’m happy with the result so far.

Awesome app!. I highly recommended giving this app a try it’s a great way to keep yourself consistent and it gives you reminders to pick up the pace or take notice of your form so you optimize your walk.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. My daughter had signed up for the trial with the intention of cancelling it, and we did, but we were still charged. I reached out to customer service, and they said I had not and was then unable to refund the charge. We cancel the membership and the customer service worker sends me a link saying I can only get a refund if I prove that I used the program and didn’t get results. We’re in a pandemic and I can’t afford spending almost $100 for something that we will never use again.

Free Walking option. Great app to use on the days when you are not doing the regular fitness program. Still gives you miles and calories burned and you can choose your distance traveled

Trial Period Warning. The one week trial will actually charge you 24 hours before the end of the trial. The makers refused to refund my $86 dollars despite my request. You may receive a refund after 28 days IF you provide proof that the program did not work. There is no warning that your account is about to be charged. BEWARE of this trial period!!! Update: An apology, but no offer for a refund. Bad customer service!

Fantastic App. This app gives you everything you need to do a great walking workout. It shows you the map you took, steps, miles and calories.

Walking. It’s my first time with this I am a senior and I knew I needed someone there to be motivate me to always send me a message or talk to me and help me walk and it was awesome I can’t wait till tomorrow just knowing that someone’s there with me

Getting started. A little more difficult setting up than I thought it would be. However after a few time of fumbling with settings I finally got it

First Walk. I need the motivation. Was glad to hear that and instructions on making the best of my first walk. Would like to have the option of hearing the same at the end of my walk. I’ve got a newly diagnosed heart problem so I’m looking forward to better heart health.

Enjoy the Walk. I was looking for an App that would help provide a lot of creative ideas as well as record a lot of data. Trying to get cardio healthy and loose wt. This seems like a good place to obtain the valuable data and help.

Tricks you into Outrageously expensive subscription. This app collects your email - not your credit card data - and then charges your PayPal $87 3 days after you download it. Their customer service refused to refund my money despite the sneaky way they trick you into “subscribing.” At no point in the sign up process was it clear that they would pull a charge. At $87 it is insanely overpriced, even if I were willing to pay money for it. I do not recommend this app for the money. So not worth it.

Easy to use & easy to walk. I love this app. It keeps track of everything for you and it’s easy to use. I feel like it holds me accountable to at least get some type of workout in, instead of making excuses.

Can’t cancel my trial. I downloaded this app a few days ago and have been trying since 1 hour after I downloaded it to cancel my trial. I’ve tried absolutely everything (following GetFits instructions) and cannot unsubscribe. I’ve emailed support and not heard back. I’ve contacted Apple support too. I do not want to be charged for this app, please share instructions on how to cancel before I am charged money for an app I’ve been trying to cancel for two days.

Do not use this app. I downloaded a whole of bunch of walking apps in order to check them out. I ended up finding one I enjoyed and had never used this one. THIS ONE IS A SCAM!!! They kept trying to charge me, even though I have never used the app. I contacted their support team for them to unsubscribe me, which I did. Although they still charged me a month after I had already unsubscribed from them. I do not recommend this app at all!!

Not a good customer service!. I couldn’t understand the app and emailed them at the same day. They send me a very lacking email. Ended up deleting the app the same day I downloaded it. Got an email after 3 days that they charged me $86. I emailed them and ask them to cancel the charge because I didn’t use the app. They were the opposite of customer service. Didn’t knew even how to find which app and my account. Ended up paying them without even using the app

Not Customer Friendly. Do not use this company. I was not able to cancel my subscription during the trial period after multiple tries but then once that ended and they charged me I was able to cancel. I reached out and told them my problem and they basically said sorry but won’t refund any money. Not good customer service and definitely not worth the money.

SCAM AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT DOWNLOAD This is the worst customer service I have ever faced. As everyone is explaining, they trick you into downloading the app for a free trial and signing up for a program without you even realizing using misleading information. I contacted the customer service as soon as I saw the $86 payment in my card and they wouldn’t let me cancel even though I was in the day 1 of a 2-month program (for which I never signed up!). Apple should not allow this scam in their store.

Could be better. The app is full of good information, but I don’t always have my phone with me. The app could be better if it allowed for manual input of steps / exercise (I play racquetball or walking while playing golf and would like to input that data) or if it could sync with my Fitbit app.

It’s a nice way to encourage. A daily walking routine. Just turned 58 and I really enjoy it. It is helping me get/stay fit! We all have to walk so why not make it count? I recommend the program!

Great Free version. I like that there is a free option to the app. I might actually purchase the paid part because I enjoy using it so much. Very user friendly and has great plans.

Doesn’t have enough controls. Several problems encountered: 1. Counting steps inaccurately 2. Since #1 doesn’t happen you cannot progress until the conditions have been met 3. It does not allow you to amend the steps when using other devices such as Fitbits 4. Only a week in and you cannot get your money back... subscribe with caution

Billed despite cancellation. The app is a very expensive walking app ($80 for 2 months. I cancelled during free trial but was CHARGED on same day. Developer refuses to issue refund and only gives me option of using app, following regimen for 21 days and sending before and after photos to support their program did not work for me. Dealing with a surprise medical issue and cannot follow their program and still developer refuses to issue refund. VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE. Hope apple removes from the Apple App Store

It’s scam and not very helpful. Please don’t use this app it’s an scam ! I did the 1- week trial which wasn’t very helpful. I got an email that I was charged 86 dollars. Which is by for two much for an app that’s not that great .But the thing is my week trial wasn’t over yet and that’s when I knew something wasn’t right , when I tried to unsubscribe it told me my email wasn’t found. I had emailed the support center and still have yet to see an email back. I will be charging and suing this company.

Update to my initial review. So I left a review about 2 weeks ago expressing my dislike. This is just a tip if you’ve recently downloaded the app and use PayPal to pay for your app purchases. If the $86 have been made via PayPal, you can create a case and dispute the charge. I did this and got my $86 back. So now you all know! DISPUTE THE CHARGE WITHT PAYPAL OR YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY! What this company does is a scam and a rip off especially during this time when a lot of people are still out of work.

Too expensive. This app is too complicated and there isn’t a “free option”. The “free trial” is only 3 days and you have to commit to a renewal before it really lets you explore the app. It doesn’t let you adjust your own intensity and once I began playing around with everything it was too complicated and too involved. I’ll just stick to low grade weights during my injury recovery

What’s going on. I loved this app when I first got it. Then an update happened and I was unable to tell how long the next days walk was going to be until the morning of. That was manageable, but frustrating. Then another update made it possible for me to see all upcoming workouts which was great, but my progress was wiped out and the app quits working in the middle of my workout. I’m frustrated with the changes.

SCAM. This is a total scam! Canceled but charged $86 -and they refused to give me my money back saying that my reason was not justified! I have never seen such and never got the instructions on how to cancel since you can't do it from subscription section on iPhone! I will be reporting this! They only reason there is a star is because they won't let you submit it with none! Customer service is awful!

Free to download and then BAMMM!. Skip the download for this app because you can’t use use unless you pay $39 to use it. I’m not even sure what it does that my iPhone doesn’t do, other than maybe count the glasses of water you drink. Definitely not worth a $39 sign up cost and it’s discouraging that so many people are being charged $89-$530 to continue with the app. Definitely sounds like a SCAM.

Thiefs! Scammers hide the subscription!. This app is horrible. I opened it one time after download. I looked for it in my subscriptions to cancel it but it was not there. Ultimately they charged me and won’t refund. There are so many other apps out there that do a better job, have better customer service and don’t hide their subscription so you can’t cancel it then tell you ‘nothing we can do’. Save your money for an app that deserves and earns it.

Not just the App but Apple as Well. I was almost sold getting this app till I realized it was a subscription service. I’m not interested anymore. To the developers, Apple and you can take your shady business practices elsewhere. If you subscribe to app or any other app you’re an idiot, be a smart consumer and say no way I’m paying for this and recharging people who already purchased the app is super shady. I hope you all end up in court.

Walking app. I would give this a much higher review if the map part worked. I have over 50 walks that don’t get recorded. Occasionally for some reason they do. I push all the correct buttons etc but it just shows zero results. No nothing. Spending way to much for an app that is already free on my phone.

Deceptive. I subscribed to this app via Instagram. Tried it once in the trial period, didn’t like the interface, forgot about it and then was slapped with an $80+ fee - for a two week work out! This is crazy. I object to apps like this which have a business model which rely on people forgetting to unsubscribe during the trial period. I monitor what I’ve subscribed to by monitoring my Apple subscriptions. This app doesn’t sit in that list because I subscribed via Instagram. Fail.

Scam. After short trial your bill $86 dollars for a 2 month “subscription” Automatically without an advanced warning and most notably this “subscription” doesn’t show up in your apple list of subscriptions so you can’t even really see that you are subscribed as with most other apps. Seems like a lot of people have been scammed by this app/ company. Run far and fast from this app.

Good idea - but read the reviews before you pay. I too was seduced by the thought of being told just how much I needed to walk to lose weight. You don’t see anything after putting in your data until you pay or sign up for the free trial. I decided to read the reviews before buying — omg, I’m so glad I did. And you should too! One reviewer said they’d have to walk 9 hours a day. LOL
