A worthwhile adventure for adults. You know a good thing when you see it. Rovio is doing great things with a fantastic game. So I’ll just go over many things. The game is still growing, experimenting, and adding - but it’s There’s a realm available f2p, but for a low monthly fee you can COMPETE. A monthly currency option is available at great value from $5-$20USD. Whales can P2W, but they’re in a separate leaderboard than 2/3 of the community. Level slowly and thoughtfully. And thoughtful spending on boosts and epic items will reward those who are willing to shell out $50-$100 a month extra. Like I said, this game caters to adults with a little disposable income. We will all get your LOTR references. Clans are a must. All the good ones have active Discords. Join the official discord and find a guild ASAP. Event weekends are the highlight of the month, but PvP is the highlight of the daily grind. Which, by the way, is the most bearable grind I’ve experienced in a game of this quality. And PvP rewards are acquirable at all skill levels due to bots and an... evolving ELO system. Game just went globa, so many more countries are joining us. Come see what all the fun is about! Well rounded and rarely boring. If you had an affinity for Gauntlet (one of the greatest games never remade) then you’ll enjoy this game too. The gameplay action is smooth, and gives one the feeling of playing as an individual hero while still maintaining the attitude of a commander usually reserved for the more tedious stratagem games. The game holds the attention without feeling obnoxious or gimmicky and has plenty to do between the different games modes. All in all, an above standard game.

One or the other. Game is kicking me out saying I need to update. There is no update. Turn off the update msg or release the update. One or the other, don’t care which. Fixed! Thank you.

Recent Update Bugs. My one star rating is not related to the game as I absolutely love playing it; been playing daily since April 2021. However the game is now unplayable on my iPhone Mini since the update this week. It still runs on my iPad Mini though so that’s a good thing as I can collect my daily rewards. PLEASE FIX UPDATE: Back to 5 Stars. I deleted the app and redownloaded … now it works again.

Gave 5 stars so this will be read. This game has terrible match up on PVP. Out of the thousands of people playing they still match me up with the same few accounts. I see the same names over & over. The players that beat me always laugh when they realize it’s me for an easy win. It goes both ways I see the name of the guys I can beat easy. So when I see a name I lose to I just close the app & play my alt game knighthood. Check that game out they don’t match me with the same people in pvp. I will still play heroes because I have invested so much & don’t want my sacrifice to be in vain…

Could be so much better.. smh. Three stars is generous. The game is fun and has a lot of potential, don’t get me wrong.. but not even an hour into playing I already ran out of energy. You get a whopping.. wait for it..... five energy..! FIVE!!! That’s ridiculous tbh. Even ten would be far too little. Take notes from games like Raid. It has an energy system but you rarely run out, as you gain plenty of energy as you level up and get certain achievements. You quickly find out this game was made to be a cash grab. My other major problem is the auto play. Takes away from the game, as you just hit play and watch. Really takes away from the user experience. They do this though because you can double the speed, which leads to quicker play through, which leads to, guess what... running out of energy! Very quickly at that. They do this in hopes you spend money to buy more. But apparently they don’t realize it is counter productive to their money making goal as it just pushes players away. These are easy fixes. Make them and you will have a much larger, loyal player base. Quite a shame really. Now that I’ve run out of energy, I’ll likely forget about the game and move on to the next one. Big mistake devs. Big mistake.

Fun and not too hard. Usually an RPG CCG like this would turn me off but this is accessible and not too much of a time sink. Easy to learn but you can see where it gets strategic if you want to take that route. Great characters too, diverse and cool. I’m making a team of women :)

Pretty good so far. I just downloaded it last night and so far I haven’t had to spend real money to get good characters. Time will tell tho. The more good stuff you get for free the chances ppl will invest in your game other wise you’re a bum on a street corner begging for change and ppl will pass you by 😉

Solid Game So Far Buuuuut.... Fun game. Easy to play with enjoyable gameplay and graphics. The reason for four stars is because I’d love to see a little bit more having to do with character power. It feels like an important piece of building a team, but the stat is almost hidden away in a corner. I’d love to see a feature that allows you to sort characters by their power like in many games similar to this one. It would also be nice to have a recommended power for each stage. If those can be patched in, this game for sure has 5 stars!

Good but greedy. Was playing for a while. It is fun, if not kind of generic. Adds little to the genre. My biggest gripe would be the “free” to play aspect. I get they want to add value for those that pay, but requiring to buy currency, you can get some free but there was no way to get enough in time, to play a particular short time 1 day event is not good. Gong to assume there will be more of those in the future and you are going to need to pay a lot to play those. I don’t mind paying, I have for other free to play games, but this was too much too soon. Going to quit now and save me the headache. Did the math, about $50 to unlock the two characters to play that one time event. Not sure about leveling them, they do give you bonus levels temporarily when you unlock characters, but still, $50 every time they release a new event, not worth it for me on a game like this.

THIS IS HOW YOU TAKE INSPIRATION!!!. This game takes the auto battler mechanics of clash Royale, and runs with it. Every character is well designed and has unique mechanics, and I love the collect ability of it all. I also love how they took healthy inspiration from clash Royale, but innovated it made it their ow with an RPG twist. I absolutely love the mechanics. The battling is engaging, and I keep being drawn back to play another game. The boss battles are fun and colorful, and the spells are well designed. My only critique (take this with a grain of salt, since I just got this game and I could be wrong) is that there doesn’t seem to be a big variety of enemies. I wish there were more special mechanics and challenges that enemies would provide, instead of just doing damage. Some enemies do have overtime effects, but I wish it was a bigger aspect of the combat. I absolutely love this game so far, and I highly recommend to any person who loves clash Royale.

Good start, weird design choices. Overall the game is great. It’s an idle party RPG with active elements such as hero ultimates or spells. I docked a star for goofy choices in the design. I find it strange that I can’t view heroes I haven’t unlocked because I don’t meet the level requirement for them to be available. This causes me to just resort to the wiki. (Example: Cruzo unlocks on day 7 of your daily login for your first week... but he isn’t available until account level 19, so you can’t preview anything about him via the in-game information) Also some of the UI isn’t clear. For instance there is an event going on right now in-game (I believe for Halloween) and I had no idea. It’s the tiniest little button/icon at the top of the screen on the battle page. I think if they just reworked some of those issues it could easily be a 5-star game. Those are just 2 examples of minor issues I’ve come across. I would give 5 easily if I could just preview heroes even if I’m not at the required level because again: jumping between game and wiki is annoying.

Close but no cigar. I enjoy this game but the micro transactions and the fact I can’t view my characters just by a long press and goofy character design choices hold it back, but mainly the micro transactions. That kills games and if you game stop wall street then you should understand people can crush it, if this was made more like a game with a micro transaction element to I’d give it more stars but the A.l. Staying alive and good game play for busy people because it autos is worth 4 stars in its own right. If the micro transactions were toned down or reduced my %50 or more than it would be better, no one unless they are a dumb whale will pay the prices set here and reduce the over all player base and this is after playing for 9 hours.

Fun to start... but then the grind begins. Fun to start... but then the grind begins. The grind or bust out the CC and spend your way to progress. The new user experience is decent. The tutorial seems a little disjointed at times, but provides an excellent high level overview of gameplay. It is easy enough to pick up but then you run into the pay wall or hunker down for a long slow road. The Hero’s and their skills are intriguing, I do like the elemental synergy and the game play options it opens up. The PvP modes are pretty well laid out. Requires some level of strategy to succeed. But that is a good thing. I would like to see tool tips on what exactly the various stats mean and do. The few load screen tips I have seen show snippets of information but are gone before one can actually read them. Over all it’s an enjoyable game. Time will tell if it remains installed once the honeymoon phase is over.

Still some kinks to work out. Not a fan of the app crashing after starting a level and still losing the stamina. Also the availability of upgrade material needs expansion through additional game modes in the future. By level 18 it’s already starting to become apparent that without spending exorbitant amounts of money on packs I’ll never be able to catch up with the amount of unit tokens you receive from floors. So all of my units will eventually be upgradable while I’m lacking the recourses to complete the upgrades. That being said, the games mechanics are solid and while there’s little in the way of any story it compensates for that with entertaining and fast paced combat with fun graphics. Overall very creative game with a lot of room for growth but that’s great so I’ll continue to support the developers but I hope to see regular patches and updates otherwise why spend money on the game?

Nice game. I have been playing for 1 week now. This game fits to causal players and advanced players. I will give 5 stars, but one time it pop up a window that requires latest version update but there is already a late test version. Unable to log in to this game. Please fix the error. Thanks team!

Super rigged and cheating AI. Decent underlying game for a “card” hero based game, but insanely greedy, with $50 IRL U$D “sales” on boosts that aren’t even permanent sometimes - and huge dead ends in playability period (you run out of “energy” to even play a level)... there is only a campaign (typical game like Mario 3 where there is a game board and you move along it with each level), an arena (you vs other players, which is usually a bot), and an elemental dungeon featuring a different elemental class each day that gives bonuses for that class, and it isn’t really enough to comprise a full and playable game. The main problems include re-spawns during arena battles with AI that are ridiculous- I kill them 3 or 4x and I’m way over powered but then my guy finally dies and they “somehow” win - and fast.., and that happens way too often. There is supposed to be a re-spawn slow-down when a squad member dies too much, but it seems to only apply to me, not others. This game fooled me into spending real money before seeing how skewed in playability it is. Don’t spend money on this!

Excellent Game. As a lifelong gamer and a player of hardcore MMO’s and RPG’s on the computer, I have to say this game is incredible for a phone app. Rovio is doing great things, frequent updates, huge campaign, great PvP, all while still being easy enough to understand for almost all ages. I’ve been looking for a good phone MMO or RPG game, and this is the best one I’ve come across and nothing has been close.

Finally, a game that isn’t just a copy of every other game.. As the title states, this is the first mobile game in a long time that doesn’t feel like it was copy/pasted from all the other hero battlers out there. The gameplay is actually engaging and it passes out enough rewards to not feel like a pure cash grab. Still a few bugs to work out (hence 4 stars instead of 5 for now), but it’s the freshest mobile gaming experience I’ve had in a while.

Fun but deeply flawed.. Game is fun. Has a lot of potential. The garish loot box power crystal limited energy so you buy crystals to keep playing gambling scheme they plaster all over it ruins the fun. Also- read the terms of service on this one. They claim a ‘legitimate purpose’ in stealing your info and distributing it to whoever they want. The devs as much admit that their ‘legitimate purpose’ is to advertise to you and sell your info to their partners. Apple claims to care about privacy and yet they profit off of games like this that are meant to datamine everything about you.

Pretty Pathetic for a studio this big. The matchmaking is horrible. It’s pretty unbalanced to begin with, but to help the devs decided having bots that often are near impossible to beat would be good to sprinkle in there. The events are ok. The reward system and energy system feel similar to other games. But the multiplayer (which if you play games like this you know that’s pretty much the end game) is so bad it ruins everything else. It’s a good concept but wow I didn’t know the people who made angry birds just don’t know how to make a multiplayer.

Honest review.. If you’re looking for a game that requires you to spend tons of money and time, this is it. The amount of resources you can gain is incredibly low either requiring way too much play time or spending money. On top of that the arena system is unbalanced. As a low spender and low level you will face people over 15+ levels above you. Which isn’t even fun nor fair. Not to mention when you get destroyed by people way higher level you lose rank. Fun times! Overall this is a cash grab, like all the other games. Play at your own discretion.

1 complaint. This game is nice, pvp hasn’t been too bad in terms of matchmaking the biggest thing that could be improved though is the stamina and stamina consumption. Either lower the stamina needed or lower the timegating. Elemental dungeon should be different entirely, aside from that I love the game this far.

Amazing game, pvp is garbage though.. Everything about this game is amazing, aside from the pvp, it’s so imbalanced and unplayable at times. I either totally destroy my opponent or they do the same to me, there is never ever a close fight, the matchmaking system is so insanely broken, I don’t know how it matches players but it needs to be scrapped and redesigned immediately. Another thing that is enough to make me not want to play this game ever again, is when it matches me 3 times in a row with the same person who keeps destroying me in pvp...this should never happen, again a huge flaw in the matchmaking system. They should rank up and I should go down so it is not possible for me to match with the person again if they are that much stronger than I am. It takes away a huge part of this game, and it totally ruins any sense of fun pvp could have. I hope to see this fixed in the next update, if not I will have to say goodbye to this game.

Great change of pace. If you’re familiar with the game clash royale, you will enjoy this game! I’ve just picked up Darkfire and there are already so many similarities! The best part is that while having the great qualities that are needed for this type of game, Darkfire presents something that has the potential to reach new levels of complexity — given there are some improvements to a few small things. For example, it would be nice to be able to read exactly how long the cool down is for each hero’s Hero Power. Maybe have a way to read a detailed explanation of hero stats like protection, attack type, and damage. All in all, I’m excited to see where this game goes!

Fun game with flaws. The game is fun with a lot to explore but there are some annoying flaws. One example is the clan system. When I looked for a clan to join, all clans were full — I tried for a few times. Then I decided to create my own, but no one joins. That makes clans unusable, and I wasted the gold to create a clan!

Good auto-battle collector. First of all, this is the only auto-battle collector I am aware of that takes this ARPG dungeon-crawl approach to the core gameplay instead of the overdone turn-based one. That and the fact that it’s in portrait were the two main things that attracted me to this game initially. And it’s relatively fun to play too, even if you’re just keeping it in auto all the time. It’s not all good though. The Home Screen feels so dated on my iPhone 12. It was clearly designed for the pre-iPhone X era and the glaringly obvious black bars at the top and bottoms of the screen are a sure telltale. As insignificant as that may seem, it makes the menus of the game seem lacking in polish. Like the devs took the easy way instead of tackling a UI problem straight on. Other than that, F2P progression is extremely slow. I’ve been trying to get past a level for a month now and even playing every activity I can each day (limited by energy currency) I am still unable to progress because RNG dictates how effective my actions will be in leveling up the characters I need leveled up. RAID has done a much better job handling this sort of impasse with the Sparring Pit. All things considered, this game is conceptually everything I was looking for in something of its genre. And the devs update it regularly, so it can only get better from here.

Fix matchmaking. I really enjoy playing the game but your matchmaking is horrible. In hero race I’m constantly against people with 3-4 level higher hero’s and sometimes your matchmaking puts me against the same exact person I just lost to (they can destroy the towers in 2 hits while I’m sitting there using all my abilities and it still takes more than 3 or 4 attacks to destroy) And one of the spells is absolutely broken. I have never once beaten someone who has the myroid card, why would you put something so obviously OP in the game. Other than those two things I’ve had a good time playing.

Rovio is back!. Remember Angry Birds it was made by a company called Rovio who fell off the face of the earth for the last 6 years (they did come out with some more angry birds crap (rpg, evolution). I always liked their games for the graphics and gameplay but enough angry birds was enough (one trick pony). They have finally come up with something new (I think Supercell came out with 4 new games in this amount of time) and it’s a relatively great game. The new gameplay style is great and once they get the game all finished up I think they are really onto something.

Very Fun and Addicting. First off, decent graphics, I really didn’t expect that to happen from the ad I watched before downloading. I love the dynamics and getting through seems to be getting more challenging, but as I continue to level up my characters things are sitting well. This game makes me appreciate mobile gaming a lot more. Better than COD Mobile. 💯😂🙏

Great game too bad developers are in maintenance mode. This game is a lot of fun. It’s relatively easy to play and while being a grinder game there are enough modes and special events to keep it fresh. Unfortunately, they announced that no new content will be created after December 2021 as they are putting the game in “maintenance” mode. Odd seeing the global launch was this year. Other negative is the outrageous prices they want for special packs and cards.

Solid & engaging. Love the game. It’s fun and quick to play. Been playing for a while and as a free to play player I can successfully compete in pvp. It’s just about being smart and patient with your strat. The matchmaking could be better however. That does need work. And sometimes the campaign grinds to a halt until you get heroes upgraded which is all rng based. But overall a really solid and super fun game. Rovio nailed it

Cash Only. The game is visually appealing and has a good assortment of characters. However to advance costs. There really is no way to grind for anything. Replaying levels gets you very little, so no way to boost your characters without paying. Also, it crashes often and you lose what little energy you have. When contacted about the crashes, they gave the trite response “you must have other apps running”.

Literally came back to change this review. Horrible.. I spoke way too soon on this game. It is impossible to remain competitive as a F2P player, you run out of energy incredibly quickly, and when you actually get the opportunity to get a free epic character, THEY LITERALLY ONLY GIVE YOU ASACHI. You cannot get an epic hero without paying actual money, and the scale for buying energy is despicable, an obvious cash grab. 80 gems for 21 energy = 5 levels of campaign play after like the 4th world. And this is during the welcome week?! Imagine how awful this trudge is without the benefits of getting gifts as a new player! Game has been deleted, and I’m not coming back. Waste of a week.

Would have been 5 if.... The auto battle in this game is trash. One of the worst I've ever seen. I understand that auto battle isn't supposed to be as good as human intellect. I don’t expect it to play better than I can on "auto" play but this is absolutely ridiculous. I've seen it waste spells like blast and use it behind my heroes when enemies are coming down. Also there are countless times there are mobs of low health spawns that can be taken out by one AoE attack and it be ready to be used and it will wait til the last monster to cast it. I know you can step it up on the A.I.

Pvp matching system is a joke. The main point of this game is to farm to be able to play against other people. However the later part is hugely flawed. The pvp matching system is called EOL and is supposed to take in consideration different aspects of how well you’re doing and match you with opponents comparable to your level. This means that this should be a dynamic system but in the end the system is marching you 4 times out of 5 against an opponent that is way stronger then it matches you one time to an opponent that isn’t a match for you and the ballet starts all over. I have given feedback several times. And this is a final piece of feedback, the pvp matching tool is really bad and flawed. There are so many better ways to find opponents in your range.

3-Star only (so far). This won’t be a long review... the game itself is fun. Nothing overly unique from other games of the same type. Biggest turn off is the endless loading screen. Most of the time it just doesn’t load. There’s no “connection issues” as my other gaming apps don’t have this issue. So for now, delete and move on. Maybe down the road I’ll revisit to see if this will be fixed but again, it’s just not overly exciting to play.

Great game that still needs work. I already love this game after 1 week playing it. I played clash royale for years and this feels like an extension of that playstyle. You collect cards to upgrade them, and instead of collecting chests after pvp battles, you collect them after an offline campaign mode. Very cool in my opinion. Additionally, there is a pvp mode theyre testing and you can find out quickly if you get the game or not by getting destroyed or destroying your opponent. One criticism: in some areas the game gets laggy. I noticed especially in the dark fey where there are enemies that teleport behind your troops the game kind of breaks down.

Beware of bait and switch. Gameplay is decent. Issue is bait and switch IAP - whether by malice or ineptitude - followed with admitting in support tickets that a problem exists but then say “everything working as intended” in the next sentence (screenshots available). The behavior is 1) make an IAP offer that encourages you to first level your character 2) fail to warn leveling will make you ineligible for the offer 3) immediately replace said offer with one that is effectively 2-4x or more as much per unit of currency. Unfortunate tactic as there is likely potential in the game itself.

It can really go places. This game is not bad. I enjoy it. It’s good that you have most of the good(meta) heroes in common quality. Two problems. The first is the auto AI. It could be worse but my main problem is the healer having a heal off of CD but not using it since you are heading to the next enemy pack. That really ruins someone like aur because she is so good because she can spam a decent heal. Also sometimes auto play uses a spell when no enemy is near. And my second main concern is energy is consumed and depleted very fast. Better chances at gear from replaying a level would be nice too so you can actually grind. Other than that, this game is seriously good. Simple yet polished visuals. Great animations and a lot of heroes to choose from. You guys should add a tower of sorts as well. Thanks and good luck.

Please fix. Theres a bug where after you complete the toturial level at the very beginning, if you accidentally get enough cards to level up a character, the game will force u to level up the character and after that tell u to play story mission 2 but guess what, if you try to play it , it will require you to play the level before. UNFORTUNATELY for me i didnt do the first level so i accidentally soft locked myself 😐

Has potential. Just got the game the other day and been enjoying playing it on my free time only thing I would recommend would be to have a battle report at the end of every fight, for a new player I’m not used to all the heroes yet so don’t know what’s good, a battle report would help me figure out what hero is tanking the best, or healed best or even done the most damage. If it were available it be easier for new players to understand what works well in a fight and what heroes could be swapped out

No gameplay. Suffers from all the common failures. You’re forced to tap brainlessly through a pointless tutorial for 10 long minutes before you can even try the game. Spammed with annoying notifications, “quests” that aren’t quests, and mini chests in a cluttered gamification interface. There at first appears to be some story or lore to experience, but when you get to the game there’s no character dialogue. It’s not role-playing if you don’t have a role to play. And when you finally peel back all the layers and get to play the actual game, you realize there really isn’t anything about it that’s interesting or challenging. It’s a faceroll. We’ve all been through this countless times. After ten minutes I can already foresee what a horrible grind this game is going to be. Visually appealing, superficially cool enough to download and try, but ultimately there’s no there there.

Where is my 100 gems for doing your survey u promised me?. Where is my gems for my time doing that long add survey? I did it because I enjoy this game and at the end u said expect 100 gems for me doing so , and I was like that’s awesome for them to do that, .....but u didn’t , I expected nothing but u told me to look for this and it has been a week. Other than that... love the game . So still a positive review

Not my kind of game. It seems I’ve been saying this a lot lately but this is the only time I’ve said this and liked the game. The characters are unique and fun and it’s one of the best looking games of any kind. The only complaint I can make is on certain levels when turning a corner you can’t see your whole team for a couple of seconds but since it only occurs every so often and not for a very long time and as that’s my only complaint that should help anyone to understand what a great game it is.

Solid but. This is a solid game but it does get really repetitive after awhile. It’s also plagued by the dreaded energy system and with only 5 energy total it doesn’t leave a lot of long play times. Graphics are great and sound design is okay. I for some reason just expected better from Rovio. I just get that feeling like something is amiss with this game. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Good but nothing special. Honestly the gameplay is fine. Even good. The game suffers from all the normal mobile game trappings though: stamina, shard collection, auto play missions, lots of grinding... And yet the game is just a safe fantasy world RPG. The combat presents itself as pretty unique but you realize quickly that it isn’t any more meaningful than other turn based games. This game could have been something pretty special but it feels like ‘just another’ hero collector.

Could be great.. First there are many things this game does well. Cool character design and a wide variety of elements, roles, and skills to choose from. There is basically no story, which I think is fine for this type of game. It mostly comes down to the building of a team composition that works well together, and works for the level/ mode you are playing. Devs if you read this, there are a few simple things you can work on to make the game better. First the PVP matchmaking is abysmal. Most of my characters are around level 12, and every 4 out of 5 battles I am matched against a player that has mostly level 20 characters. It’s not fun and it doesn’t make me want to spend more money on packs. Also most packs cost about twice as much as I feel they should. Maybe lower the price a little and more casual gamers will purchase as well. Also would be nice to add the Cooldown time of each ability on the character information screen. This is a rather small improvement that would make a large impact on helping players decide the characters to bring on a mission/ pvp. Keep up the good work!

Says needs update. I’ve been playing now for a month and like it . Last night it said the season ended and then prompted me to update the game to continue playing . However when I went to App Store and updated , it still says it needs an update to work. Hopefully this gets fixed soon

Feels like a cash grab. The game is great and has a lot of potential. However, you run out of energy far too quickly and it takes forever unless you spend money. There also seems to be almost no way to quickly get gold coins other than paying real money. Once you run out of gold (and you will quickly) there is little you can do to get it back. This pretty much halts your progress within a couple days of playing. The currency system in this game needs a complete rework to make it at least doable. As it stands now the only way to make any progress is to pay actual money. If they wanted that they should have just charged 2 bucks for the game and had cosmetic items for cash purchase. I don’t understand why rovio keeps doing this with their games. It’s a nasty practice.

Well done but charge me once and then leave me be. It’s a beautiful game! Like many out there... Can’t speak for everyone but it feels like we’re always doing our little daily routines, and at the end of the day you’re always missing gear, gold or some other precious resource that pushes you towards purchasing what you need. Tiresome, repetitive and predictable.

PvP balancing needed. Fix pvp. I’m often fight against lv 7 highter than my level. There is no way to win. Please make the pvp more fair.

Hard to pass levels. I used to love this game but the levels are so hard you can’t pass them and to upgrade your hero’s you need a lot of gold and if you can’t pass the level you can’t earn gold

Great game!. Visuals are amazing! Campaign and so many other options, you won’t regret playing this game! Don’t know if this can go offline and still play but that would be a great feature if there isn’t any wifi Good job developers!

Constant Crashing: Entirely Unplayable. Saw an ad for this game and the reviews seemed alright. But chapter 1 stage 7 is impossible to get by because the game just immediately crashes when you “beat” the level, but the game doesn’t actually save. Instead, when you reopen the game, it still shows you haven’t completed it. Absolutely not worth downloading in its current state.

A good game. I think the game is fun and fair as far as I can tell should be fun for a while

A great game with lots of potential. This is a great game with lots of potential Graphics is great. Heroes are unique and awesome. Quests are intriguing. I also like the fractions a lot (light, water, air, fire, earth and dark). In the game a player progresses well, maybe a bit too fast (it took me just three weeks to reach player level 20). I was afraid that the game would become dull very soon but there is something to do every day Here are some additional suggestions on how to improve the game - more areas, more quests, more different ways to play - new heroes, new villains, more gear - complete that section of enemies - once list of enemies is completed you can create a list of villains as well (also divided in fractions) - ....and having all the villains then you can create all Villain mode of playing the game (collect all villains, upgrade them, create quests for villains and arena battles using villains as well Thanks for such a great game and please keep up with great work

Pay to win!. This game was fun. But like many games like this one you only get so far until you have to wait weeks to get enough good gear and hero's to make it only one step further. Of course if you spend $30 for a pack that levels a hero 4 times it may help. The packs... every hero you discover will open up a new pack you can buy at a stupid ridiculous high price of $30-70+ dollars! And that’s basically so that you can progress further into the game. The game itself is fun for about 15mins. But then because it is energy based time play you then have to wait until you get more energy to keep playing. You can get what is called energy stones but once again you have to pay significant amount of money. While playing you eventually realize there is only one concept...collect hero’s and level them up with same style game play over and over. The game becomes tedious at best. Game looks good but is simply a quick cash grab style of game. If you are one of those with extra money to waste then feel free to send it my way instead!

Glitchy game costs you energy.. The game glitches often and costs you energy if you were in the elemental, dungeon, or campaign.

Review. Fun game for sure but the accumulation of gold,ie.experience,is way too slow!! Need a way to earn gold that doesn’t take so long.

Won’t load. Tried several times and game won’t load. Even deleted it and tried several more times still no luck.

Fix Matchmaking. Matching up against players with heroes 4-5 levels higher than yours multiple times in a row is not fun

Decent Game.. I got the game yesterday and I can’t keep my eyes off it. It is seriously fun to play. I also love these kinds of genres in games. Medieval-magic type games just make me happy.

Update not downloading. Really enjoying the game but last login being forced to update but no download feature!! When I click to update I get thrown back to App Store - so frustrating!!!

Won’t load. Saw an add, looked interesting. Downloaded it and will not load. Read a few other comments here and apparently not the only one this is happening to. And from other comments this is a game where the support is fading away. Look elsewhere for something new, their adds are clearly a last ditch effort to revive a dying game. Cheers!

Very fun to play but.... Great game, fun characters, actually very entertaining unlike so many other games. Only real complaint is gold accumulation goes soooo slowly. It’s been a week and between the increase in energy cost to play levels (which means the better you do, the longer you wait to play PVE content) and the increase in gold cost to train higher level characters...you play less and less as you get better and better because it takes ages to get gold. I want to keep playing but not sure how fun this will be in the long run...but for now, good game!

Pay to play. I played this game for hundreds of hours and I get beat on multiplayer by what totally looks like computers playing. I enjoyed this game but enough is enough. Game deleted..... After a return by the devotee mentioning: Hey there Johnson, thank you for the review and the feedback. We're really sorry to hear that you are no longer enjoying Darkfire Heroes, we have some cool stuff planned for the future though so we hope that you will give it another chance in the future!" No, I will not be re-downloading......

PvP. Love the game, just have to fix the fact that if you lose to a higher level player in pvp you shouldn’t lose as much trophies. Because when you beat a lower level player you only earn a half of the trophies. Thanks again for a great game

Great. Love the game and community. Lots of issues with matchmaking and pvp but still a work in progress. Lack of content over the last few months feels like forever but hopefully that will change at soon.

Otto!!!!!. This is a huge problem in arena with Otto! Everyone who takes Otto win because CAMERA DONT MOVE. You can’t just switch to another heroes, fight going in a middle and Otto jump to your castle, no way to aim on him, camera don’t move! It’s a problem, do something with this

Needs improvement but fun to play. There are always bugs and improvements to be made in new games, this one is no exception but it’s getting there. With time I think it’ll be one of the best. Needs much more content to keep players engaged but give it time and we’ll see!

Completely imbalanced. Game starts out fun until you hit the arena modes, where beginner to intermediate players are punished at every point imaginable by a poorly designed matchmaking system, likely implemented in an effort to make players spend money on upgrading their heroes and spells. Until this is fixed, be prepared for a lesson in frustration where skill is no match for significantly higher level opponents.

Great Buut. I like this game a lot until I wanted to maybe buy a pack and up my game a lil. The mega starter pack says its a 400% value but if you actually look at the individual prices of the stuff in the pack its actually about a dollar to dollar trade of buying everything at the individual inflated price so where is my 400% To bad I really liked this game but will likely delete it now and cut my loses.
