Achromatic! Game Description & Overview

What is achromatic! app? Achromatic is a minimalist puzzle game about connecting dots in order to transform them all to one cohesive color. Draw a straight line between two dots of the same color to paint the dots between them. However, you can only change dots of one color at a time. You'll quickly encounter unique dots with exciting properties. For example the square dot lets you change the direction of your line, or the triangle dots are synchronized such that changing one of them changes all of them.

Achromatic features an original and relaxing sound track to accompany its polished minimalist aesthetic. Its smooth difficulty curve will teach you the mechanics and gently ease you into more difficult levels. All levels were carefully designed by hand to ensure the best puzzling experience possible. For those craving a challenge, bonus levels are available after beating the game to really test your logic skills.

Features:

• 60 handcrafted level plus 10 challenging bonus levels
• Unique dots with special properties
• Supports both vertical and horizontal orientation
• Color blind mode

Get stuck on one puzzle and forget it. I was enjoying this app for the first several puzzles, but I get to one that seems impossible, and I’m sure I tried every combination that exists yet still I can’t progress. The authors of this app should make a mechanism by which a player can earn a hint or a cheat or something. As for now I have no more use for this app because there’s no way I can move forward. I’m now deleting this app and I advise anyone who doesn’t want waste their money to find another puzzle app to buy.

Stuck on loading screen?. Three dots spinning around and around at different speeds. Fun to watch at least. iPhone 6S Plus running iOS 12.3.1

Ok. Need like a hint button, when you get stuck, or a skip button, stuck on one and can’t bypass because I can’t figure it out

Love it. Really good work, unique and fun, simple yet confounding. Brilliant actually.

Mellow. A nice mellow jaunt without a lot of obnoxious ads.

Doesn’t work. Sat on the load screen for 2 minutes. Never loaded

It won’t load. I get past the title of who made it then the 3 dots just spin and spin and don’t stop. I’ve waited ten minutes maybe more and it won’t load. So I’m giving the benefit of the doubt maybe it was a good game but I don’t know.

Best mobile puzzle game I’ve ever played. Of all the puzzle games i have played, this takes the cake in logic and simplicity I only wish there was more of it

I get 3 small circles racing around a circle in my screen and nothing else. Not what you describe.. Tell this is not the limits of this uzzle

Let us actually try it. I played for 7 seconds and then the game begged me to subscribe. I just wanted to try your game because it looked neat. Never mind.

Am I Being Charged?. This game basically forced me into the “free trial, and then charge after a week” I’m not sure if it’s charging me right now, and I don’t know how to cancel it. The game is too hard and a sad attempt at a minimalist puzzle game.

Fun. Nice app

Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin. $2.95 a week to play a puzzle game? With only 60 levels? Where’s the madness end with charging people? I actually respect those games that charge upfront, one time, or those that would charge to remove ads. But, in this case, I’m thinking the developers used to work for Adobe and their slave practices. UPDATE: Developers kindly reached out to let me know their subscription price would cover various apps. Nice of someone to respond. I increased to 2 stars from my single star previously offered. That was for returning my call. 1. I still rate it low and don’t recommend it based on their Adobe style of “please pay us regularly”. Once a car is paid off, you get to drive it and modify it and sell it or do what you please with it. An app offers nothing of the sort, and these guys just keep collecting so nothing is paid off. 2. Arrogant of them to think I’d like all of their apps. So, if I only liked one, I’d be paying for everything they have but only use the one. I thought iTunes killed the idea that albums had to be purchased in order to get just one song? Funny how history hasn’t taught some people anything. Greed is alive and well. One day, like high interest mortgages, these pay as you go offers will be considered predatory. Very disconcerting that people find this an acceptable practice for something that never achieves ownership level for the user. Maybe someday people will learn. Meanwhile, the developers reap all the rewards.

Tries to force me to register an account after a couple of minutes of playing. Nice puzzles but the app tries to force me to register an account after a couple of minutes of playing. No way around it. Unfortunate but good riddance to such tactics

I don’t want a subscription. I want one game. This game. I’ll gladly spend a few bucks on it, but the subscription model is not interesting to me. Looks like this game would be up my alley, but I’m not being forced into a subscription model to find out.

Good Game, TERRIBLE Requirements. The game looks interesting, but there was no way to play it beyond two incredibly easy, completely non-telling levels that are supposed to example the rest of the game. I would totally play the game, but the requirement of a subscription is ridiculous and I don’t think it is worth that. I understand that it is a part of a service that offers multiple games, but I don’t want those games and I don’t want the monthly fee for them either. Seems a little one-sided on my part, but it can’t possibly be as successful as they would like it to be when they require the subscription. To offer a fun-looking game that promotes “no ads and no pay-to-play” garbage, the subscription makes those ideal in comparison. Too bad.

Good thinking puzzle game; needs color blind support. I was a bit disappointed with the first 20 or so puzzles, but then it got hard enough to be interesting. Needs a color blind / night shift mode.

Great puzzle. Challenging and addictive.

Aggravated. Jjgbh

$2.95 per week???. Downloaded the game because it looked interesting…. Then they try to give me the logon via email or Facebook… Nope I’m not doing that… Try to go on without that and let me play two levels that were so unbelievably basic you can’t even column levels … And then it asked me for $2.95 a week? I’m sorry but that’s just ridiculous.

Hint button. Are you guys going to put a hint button?

Subscription Glitch…. This game is kind of hard (hard enough to make me watch tutorials) and I like it. By the way, there’s a subscription glitch, which makes me beat 40+ levels without the subscription. Still had a challenging time getting past those line colorers and area colorers!

Stupid. Charges $2.95/week. I never review apps but this actually made me mad so I thought I’d warn people. You play two levels and then can only continue if you pay 2.95 a week!

Doesn’t work anymore. Launched the app this morning and all I get is three moving dots, no game or options or anything else. Tried reinstalling but app is unresponsive even after fresh install.

Trial too short. This game requires a subscription. It offers a free trial but it is ridiculously short - two levels. How can I possibly decide if I want to pay for a game by playing the first two ludicrously simple tutorial levels. Give me a break.

Just a waste of time. Two quick levels then you can go no further without paying. Don’t waste your time on this. Spend your money on a company that isn’t this blatant in their money grabbing

Great game. It is just the right amount of frustration to make you come back to it again and again.

Not free. Listing this as free is just an outright lie. You get to play 2 levels that require zero thought and then you have to pay $2.50 weekly to play anything else.

Ridiculous. There’s no way people actually pay to play this game, right?

Bad Code. Why is it that you have to write a review of the game before u play the game? Makes no sense at all. Your only to two choices are “write a review” or “I’ll do it later”. If you choose “I’ll do it later”, it bring you back to start page which start the process all over. There is no way to avoid the entrapment of those two options.

Misleading. Sign in, sign up! NO

Fun challenging puzzle game. Thumbs up

Dumb. Dumb

Great concept. I loved the game - challenging. However if/when one gets stuck on a puzzle, there are no hints or help to get over the hurdle and finish that puzzle. Therefore, game over! Go no further.

Peaceful. Very interesting as I figured out the rules. I haven’t got very far because I am stuck but it’s pleasant & calming anyway.

Ok call me a nerd...but I loved it!. I really loved this puzzle - it’s addictive! I have ADHD and found it relaxing and challenging. I love how minimal it is, easy to concentrate but still challenging enough to hold my focus. Finally solved No 60 very disappointed to find that “the end” really is the end. Would happily subscribe for more of these type puzzles - please release some soon!

Signing up for a trial after 2 levels, no thanks. Letting you play for 2 levels and then wanting a subscription to continue is a bit of a B.S. approach. Uninstalled almost as soon as I got it. I’m happy to play for a bit and then pay a once off price to get rid of ads or continue playing, but $3.99 a week is a bit steep.

Welllll…😬. It would be great if it wasn’t so hard. If it was a bit easier, it would be much better.

Awesome game but bugs. Really good game but recently not working? Screen just shows three circling dots for some reason. Tried deleting and re-downloading but it still isn’t working

App stuck in loading screen. I was excited to try this new puzzle game but I can’t get past the loading screen, it stays stuck with the three spheres circling each other, please fix I was eager to try the game

Very interesting game and nicely done.. Very interesting game and nicely done.
