Love it!. Who hates Harry Potter? I’m in House ofHufflepuff… My wand is fir and my patronus is a dapple Gray stallion! I love this game so much! Perfect for any Potterhead. Okay, so, I’ve had this app for a while, and I love it so much. It helps you feel more immersed in the Wizarding Universe. It helps you realize things you hadn’t about yourself. For example, my whole life I considered myself a Hufflepuff, but I got sorted into Gryffindor! I know a lot of people are getting annoyed that you don’t get a say in your sorting and you can’t take it over and over until you get the one that you want, but that’s because that is how it is in the books, and the developers of this we’re trying to make it as realistic as they possibly could. I love the animation in this app, especially on the Patronus test. It is breathtaking. Kudos to whoever animated that. Overall, this is an amazing app, and you should definitely download it.

deserves more credit. i love this app. i see some people are saying that they re-take the quiz and keep getting the same House. this is because when you're using the same account no matter what you'll get the same House, it doesn't matter what you answer. you have to make another account to get a different House. either way, you shouldn't get to change your House. Albus Potter didn't want to be a Slytherin, but there he was in the green and grey. in Harry Potter, there was no option to say "Hey Hat! i don't want to be a ____! can you please re-sort me?" no, you got your House and sucked it up wether you liked it or not. this app deserves soo much more credit.

Doesn’t match the date. So at first when I got this app I was so excited because I thought it would be just like the Pottermore site but in an app. At first the app was great with the daily news, quizzes, and fun facts. I also liked that I could re-take the house quiz as many times as I wanted to and that was great because I discovered that it had different question for different answers. What I mean is that if you clicked on an answer it would take you to a specific question based on what you chose. The house, patronus, and wand quizzes were fun and interactive( you could look around and tilt the phone for different answer choices and therefore were fun animations, etc.) after being on the app for a few days I noticed that the real time date was not corresponding with the date on the app. For example, the first time it happened was on December 23, and the app was not syncing. It said it was December 20, which was obviously not correct. I also noticed that I couldn’t take most of the daily quizzes again. This was inconvenient if I wanted to show a friend or family member who didn’t want to download the app. Overall, I give this app 3 stars because it definitely has potential, and if the developers will fix certain glitches and bugs within the app it can be great.

Awesome App but Slight Bug. Don't get me wrong, Harry Potter is my life and this app is awesome, but now everytime I open up the app it kicks me right out and I'm not sure why. This only happens when I'm logged in or after I've finished makinf a new account. I've tried deleting and reinstallthe app, but it didn't work. Then, I tried using another one of my account but that also didn't work out. I'm not sure why this is happening but it's really making me annoyed since there's a lot of things I'd rather do on the app and find easier to do on the app than the website, like the polls and quizzes. Overall, when I was able to use the app, it was a great app and I loved the cool little backgrounds and the house bingo. I'd be great if maybe you could try to see what's wrong with the app? My device is an Ipad Air 2 from 2014 and it's on IpadOS 14.0.1. I don't think it'd have anything to do with my Ipad but if it does, I hope this helps. Keep updating the app and the website because it's super good and I love all the cool little miniganes and stuff.

Ima Gryffindor 🧙🏻‍♂️😎😎😎. OK so I tried all of those Harry Potter apps and none of them were that good. Then I found this. And it said OFFICIAL HARRY POTTER APP and I instantly got it. ITS AWSOME! You can listen to audio books and read news and get movie behind the scenes and polls and tests and EVERYTHING! You can figure out ur patronus and ur wand and ur house. But there’s one thing about the house test I think they should change. So I got Gryffindor the first time, and I took it again to make sure. I got Ravenclaw, but it gave me the option to stay with Gryffindor. I did, but I had my friend take it, and she got Gryffindor. And my mom. And my brother. AND my other friend. So if u take it to many times, it’ll stay with that one house that u got first. And that’s really all my compliments, because this app is awsome. BYEEE ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Why won’t the Sorting Hat change its mind?. I downloaded the app, knowing already that Gryffindor is my House, and took the quiz to solidify it. But the answers are hard to choose, and sometimes it registered me trying to swipe to the next answer choice as me selecting the answer I was currently on. This was very frustrating, and it chose the wrong answers and refused to let me go back. I just continued with the answers I would’ve given anyway and it gave me Slytherin and told me the Sorting Hat wouldn’t change its mind. This is incredibly frustrating, and not just under my circumstances? What if someone else wanted to take the quiz to see what House they’re in, but didn’t want to bother making an account? The Sorting Hat should change its mind based off the answers it’s given, and that’s that.

The basics work fine, but could use a few tweaks. I like that the profile and everything works well, but I feel like it should be the main page rather than all the way at the end. Also, I’d appreciate it they added the Ilvermorny houses as well like Pottermore used to do. 3 of the 4 tabs are mostly useless could really use updating. Make searches for information, have one of the tabs be all about different characters, classes, houses, wands, and all the other Harry Potter information, and combine the 3 current tabs into one that has categories, favorites, and a search feature. Center the profile with those two flanking it, and the app would be much much better and more usable

The new sorting quiz. I loved the app... until it was updated. I have an iPad 5 before the app changed I was able to take the “Reimagined sorting quiz” today I opened the app and my account was logged off... So I went to my account logged in and wanted to take the sorting quiz when I clicked on it the app gave me a message about me not being able to do the sorting quiz. It’s not that I don’t like my house... I LOVE Hufflepuff but I also love taking the quiz. Second, I know this is mainly about Harry Potter and I am a crazy potter head but I also love Fantastic Beasts so I would like to see more of Newt. Third, in my opinion I think there are to many quizzes and some that we could do without but there are some that people are dieing to see more. Forth, I want to see more Harry Potter games out there The Wizarding World only supports 2 of them Hogwarts Mystery and Wizards Unite. I have found many other amazing games that The Wizarding World should support. That’s all please fix and add some stuff that I suggested.

🚩 Some Red Flags.... I love Harry Potter and love having an app for trivia, puzzles, etc.. However, this app is so messed up it makes me want to uninstall. Here is what concerns me: - The app will randomly use your camera. When I am putting codes into the key guessing thing, the green dot shows up at the top of my screen. If I swipe down to see the control center, it says Harry Potter is using video. There is no need for my camera to be on here. I recommend not allowing camera access to this app. Sus. - This app is supposed to be so simple, yet it drains my new battery like crazy. Makes me wonder what's actually going on in software land. - The interface for the puzzles is so incredibly bad and not-user-friendly. Makes me wonder if they even test the product. After unlocking a key, it directed me to a word search puzzle. When I dragged down to select a vertical word, it swiped down out of the puzzle. Also, it is so hard to highlight the actual words, it somehow fees like my finger is uncalibrated with where I touch the screen. Not a huge deal, but becomes extra frustrating when there are a limited number of errors you can make before "losing" to what are actually technical issues. Not sure how having "lives" in a word search even makes sense. Long story short... this is a terrible quality app. I still keep it since I am slave to my HP addiction. I don't recommend it though.

Sorting quiz is wrong!!!.. I’ve taken the sorting hat quiz on Pottermore before and it said I was in Slytherin. And the other sorting quizzes said I was in Slytherin. This dumb quiz on this app gives you the same house no matter what answers you choose. You mean to tell me that I’m a Ravenclaw when I don’t have their personality trait? The answers I’ve provided here where similar to that of Pottermore and I was sorting in Slytherin in Pottermore and in here I’m sorted in Ravenclaw. I’m not nothing like Ravenclaw. Because of this, I won’t consider using this app. The house means a lot to me because it describes who I am. I’m a cunning, resourceful, and very ambitious Slytherin. Ravenclaws are book worms, have creative imaginations, and think outside the box. I think logically, and I have a high level of ambition to achieve goals and I also help those around me which ravenclaws don’t help because they are selfish.

GRYFFINDORS RULE!. Alr so i love this app its the best and its perfect to come home to and just chillax! And i love the tests and ive taken the test muliple times (using different emails ofc) and most of them were gryffindor and like 2 of them were hufflepuff which i dont mind bc hufflepuffs are still great and i love them and i love my patronus(deerhound) and my wand(cypress wood phoenix feather) so anyway i love the articles theyre so interesting amd the vids are so funny but one problem when i tried to sign in (which kinda logs me out when theres not internet) i put the right password but it kept saying it was wrong so plz fix otherwise a good app would recommend love it cant wait to see it improve 🦁 🦁

Amazing! 😁😁 But one thing.... I really love this app! I am a Ravenclaw and also if you are reading this and LOVE Harry Potter then please go to The Wizarding World website they have so many cool articles there! Also I love the polls on this app! But also in the quiz when they tell you who scored highest of the houses how come the order is ALWAYS Ravenclaw Gryffindor Hufflepuff Slytherin or Ravenclaw Gryffindor Slytherin Hufflepuff? I know this is probably not the case but just because Ravenclaw values intelligence does not mean that it should always be first! And is why Hufflepuff always hear last because you think Hufflepuffs are not smart? Besides from that this a excellent app! Just saying I hate all the house stereotypes, like that Gryffindors are showoffs, Slytherins are mean, Ravenclaws are selfish and Hufflepuffs are losers! These are n-o-t NOT true! Great…. Just one thing.. So I love this app. I love the crosswords, word searches, and videos. This is an amazing fan club. I live Harry Potter. I’ve read the entire series including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. There’s just one thing, I’ve taken the house test four times and I keep getting Ravenclaw. I’m a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I am a bit Ravenclaw but mostly Gryffindor. And I don’t mind my Patronus. I don’t mind that it’s a Dolphin but I don’t exactly think it’s accurate. Maybe idk but I don’t think so. I love this app but they could use some adjustments. Also there’s something else I remembered that the different fact files for the characters have people that are connections with them and one thing is Remus John Lupin had a fact file and one person that was a connected person was Nymphadora Tonks and I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the app and I didn’t find a Tonks fact file. And one last thing, the secret lock and key I don’t get it? I don’t know how you’re supposed to unlock the chest. If you could make it a bit more self explanatory or maybe explain how you do that? Sorting Hat Doesn’t Work Right. I was really excited to get this app because I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I have been a Ravenclaw for a long time and I wanted to see if I would get Ravenclaw again. I got put into Slytherin (I’m don’t have anything against Slytherins), and I decided to have my mom and brother take the quiz too. They both got Slytherin too. I was wondering what was up and I decided to take the quiz one more time, but that time I put the exact opposite answers that I would have put normally, and I got put into Slytherin. I really hope that this gets fixed. Over all, I think that this is a pretty good app. Good job on designing this app! Sincerely, Nate

It’s okay but it also has problems. Big.. Okay, I got the app, and it seemed fine. But then a while later, (a few months I think,) it kicked me out! And then I tried again. It took me AGES to get it to sign back in. And then, another while later, it kicked me out again! So I have to sign in with a new account and I have to take the sorting test again. And the wand test, and the patronus test! (The patronus test makes no sense. I drag and release, and nothing happens. I go back to the app and only then do I see my patronus.) I have been kicked out five times I think. Maybe more, maybe less. I haven’t kept count. The point is, I’m really sick of this. The reason I gave it two stars and not one, was because I like the idea of the app. The polls and the quizzes are fun. Oh, I forgot to mention that I can’t see myself with the sorting hat on “this particular muggle device.” What device then?! A phone? Because I have to hold my iPad to the side, and even then it doesn’t fill my whole screen. Something I think should be fixed is the fact that if you hit the ‘x’ while you’re taking the quizzes, the quiz will keep going. Or you can just leave but then you lose all of your answers. What if someone is talking to you and you don’t want to be rude?! I guess that isn’t a huge problem, but still. Can you just tell me how to prevent being kicked out? Thanks.

Unsupported iPhone 6 on House sorting when it used too.. I like app but one of the reasons I downloaded it was to do the house sorting. It s used to be compatible with iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7 but it isn’t no longer supporting them. I did the sorting, answered all the questions but just couldn’t get the results which was a bug in the software. I reported the bug and y’all said y’all would fix it so I can do the sorting on my iPhone 6. Y’all didn’t tell me that y’all were gonna make it so the sorting hat didn’t support certain iPhones anymore. And not everyone had this problem with the house sorting on the iPhone 6. The sorting only requires iOS 11 and anyone who owns an iPhone 6 or above can reach iOS 12.4.2 or higher depending on with iPhone they have. Please fix your sorting hat, don’t exclude people from it...

Ok but agghhhh. So I agree with my Patronus (somewhat) and Wand type but I cannot stand the fact that every single time I take the quiz I get put in the wrong house. I lost one of my previous accounts therefore losing everything except what I remember. Which was being put into ravenclaw and I agreed that was my right house. Presently I’ve tried to pick what house I want/actually am but couldn’t find how. I know that you can and are allowed to change house after your first sorting but I still cannot find how. I’ve gotten Hufflepuff and Gryffindor so far and I can tell you…I’m not as patient or brave as they are. I’ve deleted and reset my account multiple times just to keep getting the wrong house. I just wish it were a more clear option to change your house… Its become very annoying as I’ve taken many unofficial tests before and official tests and they all said I was ravenclaw until these tests. I wholeheartedly agree that I’m a ravenclaw, it is me. One last thing is I wish that only a few times you are allowed to retake the quizzes for your patronus or wand type. I’m happy with my wand it just feels that the patronus and house just DO NOT fit my personality. Edit: So, after 2-4 resets/deletes of my account I finally got ravenclaw (thank Jesus) but change still needs to be made as previously said Sincerely, Moony Chewie

Quiz for the house is not consistent. Back when there was Pottermore the quiz for choosing your house seemed pretty accurate but now even with answering the questions the same I think it randomizes the house they “sort” you in. I closed out before they finished the whole sorting cutscene and when I picked up where I left off it was a different house. I have tried it multiple times and every time it changes which house they put you in. I really only got the account to be able to connect it to the new game so I don’t really feel like doing much else because my trust is completely gone. Not going to lie I miss Pottermore and wish I had converted my account in time but the past is in the past.

Not true!!!. Just warning you, I love Harry Potter, and my opinion on this is EXTREMELY biased😝! Well, anyway, I keep hearing about this “sorting hat glitch” which people keep on getting mad about. But I, personally, think that it’s totally fine. It’s realistic to the series, in which you can’t retake the sorting over and over again until you get the desired outcome. You can take the quiz once, maybe twice, and you can choose between whichever of the two best suits you. If you’re REALLY picky about which house you get into, just pick the most stereotypical ones associated with whichever house it is that you want. I, myself, got Slytherin on the first try🥰🐍!!! It really is a wonderful house, and I LOVE how you can get a Patronus!!! Great app, ignore all of the reviews saying they would give zero stars, because thus is a very popular topic. Of course every Potterhead would want this new app, and when thousands of people all over the world download the same new app, it’s naturally a little glitchy at first! There’s always SOMETHING that goes wrong for some negative person who hates everything, but all apps glitch for one person or another. The internet is really just a fame of chance, and some people get unlucky. But that doesn’t mean that your Wizarding World app will be bad! If anything, just give it a shot, and if it is unsatisfactory just delete the app! It’s really not rocket science... So, five stars to this app! Love it, love you all, go Slytherin🐍!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better off just using the site.. The reason one would want the app Is to yes,have quick access to news, games, Etc. Also to admire your house, your wand and your patronus. Uh-hem. The wand. Only the wood it’s made of is displayed. Any fan knows that isn’t all there is to it. One might like to be reminded and share it’s length and core as well as the wood and said wood’s properties ( flexibility or rigidly) The app should at least be equal to the original Pottermore site. It had an animated patronus that you could watch materialize and scamper about. It was kind of fun to go look at your wand as well. The app is not nearly as interesting as the new site is. The app should be an abridged version of the site at the very least. With it being a pocket sized quick access to all your personal magic and the other goodies , at its most ideal. It’s better to just login on site rather than waste megabytes on the app that is rather underwhelming.

Account issues. Was unable to create an account with the app. Just kept getting the muggle technology error, and it wasn’t an issue with my device. I tried on my phone and iPad with the same result. I then decided to visit the website instead. There I learned that I had used my email address to sign up back when pottermore was a thing, so I was prompted to port my old account over which I did. Once logged in I wanted to retake the sorting quiz (for keeps) which you can only do once per account, so I figured I’d just delete and start over. No dice. I was supposedly able to delete my account , but apparently that old link to pottermore is etched in stone for all eternity, because when trying to create a new account I was again told I already had a pottermore account and could only reestablish that one. So the app is fairly useless since it can’t seem to handle any account creation or deletion stuff, and the whole thing is just a complete mess with making old pottermore accounts unable to be deleted. So I’d need to create a new email address just to start fresh. Why can’t I fully delete my account and why can’t you chose to start fresh instead of porting over your old pottermore info? Also it’s disappointing that the app only really works properly on phones. I have an iPhone, but I’d much rather use it on my iPad.

Profile quizzes not accurate. I lost my old Pottermore account where my profile details were spot-on to my personality. However, after recreating my account (several times) this app does not seem to be accurate. I am a Ravenclaw, but this app kept trying to put me in Hufflepuff (so far from true) or Gryffindor (could work but still felt wrong). There is no way to offer what you want, like how the sorting hat really works. I was finally able to get my correct house after deleting and recreating my account. However, I still cannot get an accurate patronus to my personality. The questions to determine your patronus feel so random. This does NOT truly represent my interests or personality. I fully believe the patronus questions need to be more direct or just let us pick our patronus. The wand quiz also feels random, but the wand I was given feels fitting. Please update the profile quizzes to allow more specific responses/personality traits to contribute to our house, patronus, and wand. Also, there is an option to be re-sorted in your house if you're not happy. Why is this not an option for the patronus or wand? Since this app does not feel to be accurate, please allow re-tests for all three quizzes, or allows users to have a choice in their results. Thank you for your consideration.

Read before Installing!!. Okay so this app is amazing and I love it to get information and play really fun quizzes and take polls and everything. However, to find out your wand, patronus, and even your HOUSE, you need to take the quiz on your computer. I think that this should be fixed. Also, growing on that, you can’t even see your full wand type on a mobile app; you only see your wandwood! It should show the core and length and durability too, like it does on a computer. Also, you should be able to re take your wand/patronus quizzes. You can re take your house quiz, but on my first account I got an ORANGATAN PATRONUS, and I HATE orangutans. So I re took and got a runespoor(yay!) But still. I had to make a whole new account! All of these things aside it is a great, fun, and educational app for any Potterhead. I would recommend it!! 😉😉😉

Love it but…... I love this app, I really do! However, every time I go to do my sorting test it always tells me that there’s a problem with “muggle technology”. This isn’t the first time either, it’s really weird to be honest. I have experienced this every single time I log on for probably the last several months. I’ve tried different things too! I have made new accounts, made sure the app was updated, deleted and then redownloaded the app, logged in and out, and a few other things. I can still take the wand test and patronus test though. Thankfully.. other than that problem right there, I love this app. I love the quizzes, the facts, and the portait characters especially!!! But I really hope this sorting hat quiz is fixed soon! I really want to be sorted again and I would also like to connect my Hogwarts legacy account.

Constantly crashing and sorting hat not working. First off the app is absolutely stunning and honestly would’ve been an extremely amazing experience if it worked at all for me. The app is constantly crashing and when it’s not crashing it’s lagging insanely. Not only that but navigating it gets frustrating after a while. The sorting hat has crashed the app for me more than anything else. It took more than an hour to download the update then after that everything seemed to work fine the first time I used it then it crashed half way through. This would be no big deal if the app would let me use it after. Each time I reopened and tried it I had to download the update (though it was faster) after that app would crash trying load the questions. After leaving the app alone for a bit I decided to try again and when I try to open the sorting hat I’m told my phone isn’t compatible. Though I had already started and opened the sorting hat multiple times!!

Amazing. Ok, so I may have written a review before ( I forgot if I did) but I just want to say that this app is AWESOME!!! Also, it’s nice that even if you had an account on Pottermore and you already got sorted, you can take the new quiz again. Btw, I got Hufflepuff in the old quiz and Ravenclaw in the new one. I really like that it asked your if you want to keep your old house or go to a new one. One thing that I really really really want is a search bar. I had all these favorite articles but now I have to search through features to find them. Plz tell me if there is a way to do this and I just didn’t see it. It’s good I suppose. I like it. But there is some things I need to talk about. Number one is that I don’t agree with the wand I got, I went to the universal ollivanders where they have them professionally trained to like tell what ur wand is and stuff, the wand i got was Yew and Dragon Heartstring wand which is perfect for me, but on the app I got Fir and Unicorn Hair wand which is very wrong, and the description is not me at all. The rest I am happy with except the patronus because I’ve taken almost every Harry Potter patronus quiz there is and they all said either stag or doe for me but all of a sudden I get a cat. Like don’t get me wrong I love cats but I feel like I would be more of a stag than a cat. Idk whatever. Good app I suppose and no that many glitches.

Love this but..... I love this so mush I like that I can retake the sorting but it won’t let me get to the patronus or wand sorting. It won’t tell me why either. Also when I said I love how I can retake it it’s interesting because I always get the same one Gryffindor I would like to be in a different house not that I don’t like Gryffindor it’s just I like slithern more and I would what to be in that house. Can someone explain how I can get to the patronus and wand tests. The reason this is my rating is because this is the closest, well not really the closest, I can get to nine and three-quarters. Edit: So I have taken the sorting quiz many many times every time I got Gryffindor even though I did everything super smart for ravenclaw and the one time everything kinda like dark for slyithern but I still got Gryffindor so I think the quiz is rigged. Edit: Well it has to be I have been taking it for 1 hour by now and I have only gotten Gryffindor I made it so I could be in ravenclaw nope Gryffindor Slythern NOPE Gryffindor. I am a Gryffindor, app says otherwise. I am a Gryffindor according to any other sorting quiz I have taken. Even my friends say I’m a Gryffindor.🦁🦁 The app tells me I’m a Ravenclaw. Raven claws are cool, but I’ve always been proud to be a Gryffindor🥳. I didn’t have a pottermore account because it was very glitchy and wouldn’t work for me, so I took other quizzes. All came out the same: Gryffindor. I think the app should give you a choice, if you already know your house. Like “already know your house? Choose here and skip quiz!” The quiz is very interactive, and fun to do. 😁However, the fact that if you want to retake the quiz, it won’t change your house no matter what is extremely frustrating. 😖😖 Please fix this!!! This app is good, but PLEASE FIX IT, if you do I will re-download it and be a satisfied customer😊😍. Good work mechanically and visually. Three stars for no glitches and visual effects. Minus two because of sorting quiz. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I Love This App!. Say what you want about the sorting hat, but its working great for me! I’m 11 and a BIG fan of Harry Potter, so is my family. Before I got the app, I logged into the Wizarding world website because the sorting hat isn’t compatible on the app on my iPod gen 6. It worked great and I got Slytherin! I logged in my family in different tabs then it worked great too! When I got the app I logged in with the account I made on the website, and I was blown away. I love the feed it has for you about the fun facts about your house and the polls! So, so fun. WOW but wha. This is an amazing and organized app witch will make you fully satisfied with information. Do not let any of theses trollers launch at you with hate for this app. You have everything and you do NOT need to get riled up about stupid jerks. I LOVE Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts ever sense I was born, (my mother had me when the first movie came out and she was a potter head so we watched them all the time) and I am personally love this app. My brother also uses this app and he says “I really like it.” But we both are dumbfounded about how to take the sorting hat quizzes again. house quiz. i love the app. it’s a great app and i use it all the time. i was super excited because school is starting back up and i won’t have my laptop with me everywhere i go now so when i realized this was an app i immediately downloaded it. it was fun after a while, and at first i was skeptical about being able to take the sorting test as much as you want because you won’t be able to do that at hogwarts but i actually really enjoyed it. now all the time i take the test for fun. after a while i realized that the sorting hat always put me in gryffindor. i didn’t really think much of it and i only really thought that it just meant i was truly a gryffindor. i started using the app less and less until i only used it every few weeks. after about 2 or 3 weeks to a month of not opening the app i decided to open it again and use it. i had changed a lot (quarantine glow up lol jk) and i realized that in that month i had gained a lot of new traits and seemed to be more like a slytherin. i remembered that i could take the sorting test again so i decided i would and a few of my answers changed while a few stayed the same. i still got gryffindor. i decided to take it again but this time choose the answers that were my last choice i would have chosen. in the end, i still got gryffindor. so my conclusion is that if you retake the test i think it just gives you the house you were sorted into every single time.

Love it but would love to be able to change some stuff. I completely love how it is so far and im so glad I was chosen to try it as one of the first but because it is still in development I would like to request something to add, when I was younger I made a potter more account and when I took the tests I wasn’t very honest so I would like to be able to retake my tests, such as the patronus, sorting, and wand test. It’s completely fine if you do not add this developing a app is probably very difficult but its just a request and I think many others would like this to be added as well. Yours truly Kaz Grace

Great Potential. I downloaded the app looking for the troves of information concerning the wizarding world, and was sadly left dissatisfied. The app as a whole is difficult to navigate, and left me wandering around it for nearly half an hour, only to give up and search for the lore on an equally confusing mobile chrome version of Pottermore. If there was just another submenu containing some of the original lore that J.K. Rowling has on the Pottermore website, this would easily become one of my favorite applications. It is already visually stunning, and runs generally smooth, it is just icing on the sadly nonexistent cake of lore and detailed oddity that embodies the most amazing part of J.K. Rowling’s Universe. There is already the bun, all toasted and ready, visually great. It just need the hot dog; the body, the lore, the actually interesting material. Give us the hot dog.

Beautiful But Glitchy. As far as visuals go, this takes the cake. It’s stunning. BUT not user-friendly at times and very glitchy. Just a note- the music in the background of the sorting ceremony is so loud that I could barely understand the hat. (Thank goodness I always have captions on.) The most frustrating part to me (and it appears many of the reviewers) is the sorting ceremony itself. I signed into an old Pottermore account previously sorted into Ravenclaw. I re-took the quiz, and was sorted into Slytherin- which I was totally okay with and believe I’ve moved knot as I’ve aged. Anyway, I tried “changing” to Slytherin but it glitched, didn’t save, and has me in Ravenclaw. I’ve tried this SEVERAL times, and every time it does the same thing. I know it’s just a development issue but it’s nevertheless frustrating.

Inaccessible with VoiceOver. Since I am visually impaired and cannot see the contents of the screen of my iPhone, I use a program called Voiceover which reads out the contents of my screen and enables me to use my phone without looking at it. I could easily sign in to my Wizarding Passport account using this app but once I was done authenticating, I couldn’t trigger any actions in the app. The only items that I could read were a passage from Harry Potter and the Order Of the Phoenix, a non-clickable item called “feed”, and a bunch of UI elements labeled with Unicode characters VoiceOver read as “unpronounceable”. I tried clicking on all the elements the VoiceOver could read but nothing happened when I tried clicking them. Please improve the accessibility of this app so it is usable for people who use VoiceOver and other adaptive programs on their phones.

Buggy. I love this app- I had an account once before but have recently discovered that I have a different gender identity than I did when I initially downloaded this app, so I decided to make a new account. However, every time I go through the entire sign-up process there comes up an error message saying something like “Muggle Technology - something went wrong while trying to create your account” I’ve tried signing up with both my wifi and my data and it still doesn’t work (I have decent connection to both, and all my other apps are working smoothly). It’s very frustrating that I can’t even make it past the sign-up phase. About to delete the app and redownload, and will let everyone know with updates. Otherwise- please help ASAP? My boyfriend and I were going to make accounts together for our date today since I’m just now getting him into Harry Potter. I’d really like to be able to use this app :/

I like the app buuut..... Now I don’t like being a critic, don’t get me wrong. I mainly downloaded the app so I can find out what house I am. When I took the quiz I got Gryffindor which is fine. Gryffindor is a good house but I don’t think I’m a brave person so I wanted to take it again. I got Gryffindor three times in a row and I answered the questions differently each time. I took it a fourth time answered the questions how a Slytherin would, for example which box would you be drawn to open and obviously a Slytherin would answer the shiny black one. But I got-you guessed it-Gryffindor. I don’t like that it’s rigged and I know my personality and I’m definitely a Ravenclaw or Huffelpuff!? So fix the fact that it’s rigged and let me take the quiz again and I’ll be satisfied. Okay sorry about that umm so if you take the quiz once it decides you can take it again but it won’t change its mind... which is accurate to the book. Finally I would point out that I am not able to take the wand and Patronus quiz. Idk why?

Constant crashing. I was pretty excited to download this app after I heard about it. The app offered to bring over your old information from Pottermore but it struggles to do that with mine. Also, when I tried to get sorted, the app would crash (yes I even opted out of the AR feature to make sure it wasn’t the problem). I had to delete my account four times for it to “work.” I’ll clarify work: I was FINALLY able to sort into a house, find out my Patronous and choose a wand. I clicked away from my profile to look at other stuff in the app and guess what? I can’t look at the patronous or wand page. If the feature is to show you both features only once, then that needs to change. I like to show the description for why I got my patronous and what each part of the wand means. Otherwise the app refuses to let me see this information. At this point, this app is only useful for the one time sorting. It looks like you’re supposed to continue using this app for the upcoming game and integration WB Games. I can only imagine what troubles it would give me if I try. Please send out another update before the game comes out. I’m positive I’m not the only one with this issue.

I started crying. So I just got the app and I was so happy because I did the test and when I got Hufflepuff I mean I was OK with it for a little bit but then I realize that almost everything I own the Terry Potter is Gryffindor so then I tried taking the test again and it kept giving me half a puff every single time I choose different things that I chose last time if I got the same answers and I choose new things that I would like that’s what it says to do so I start picking things I don’t like and it still gave me a Hufflepuff hot enough that was just a bug I don’t know if it was a bug or if you just really wanted me to have Hufflepuff but then I deleted it so I could redo all of it. But then when I tried to get back in and download it it wasn’t working and it made me cry because I love that app so much and now I’m regretting deleting it and I can’t ever do it my parents have tried helping me but it’s not working I’m so upset

Hufflepuff. I love being a Hufflepuff and being known for kindness and loyalty and stuff but... I think the only house you can get is Hufflepuff. I had one of my friends try out the sorting ceremony and she is nice, but we are opposite with a lot of different things. We chose completely different answers but it still says we’re both Hufflepuff. So to test out my theory I tapped different answers for different questions multiple times and no matter what I’ve pressed it says Hufflepuff. And its bothering me because I’ve asked a few different people to try and everyone gets Hufflepuff and is considered nice and all but it really feels like it is programmed to only give Hufflepuff. I give this game 4 stars because if that was fixed than not every person would be a Hufflepuff... and maybe let the players get a say to. I know this isn’t the sorting hat, but the sorting hat deeply considers what you want. That’s why in other Harry Potter games you choose what house you want to be in. If that was fixed, I’d say this would be a 5 star game.

Amazing. Great place to play some quizzes, get sorted into your hogwarts house, or read Harry Potter information. And there is TONS of information. Stuff that isn’t even in the books, but is still written by JK Rowling. Also, to anyone saying stuff like “You can only get one house! I had a friend try this out and we both got the same house!” And “I always get the same house and I don’t think the app works because this other house is cooler and I like it more so I should be in that one.” ...no. The point of the sorting quiz is to see what house you are, so if you’re a gryffindor and you are honest with the questions, you should pretty much always be a gryffindor. It can’t read minds folks.

What Pottermore had better. I really love this app, me and my potterhead mates have been fantasising over an app for ages!! Although this app is TOTALLY AWESOME, I’d like to point out a few things that Pottermore had better, for instance, one is a search bar, for me a search bar is crucial, because sometimes I like to look back at old articles, like the one about all the schools, and just read or sometimes I like to browse for new articles, but with the new app it’s much harder and I can never find the certain article or quiz I’m looking for, unless I type it up on google maybe, which starts to become annoying. I’d also like to point out that when I press on my patrounus or wand circular button nothing happens, so I can’t read the article about patrouneses, wand woods and wand cores again!😭 Furthermore,I can’t find the place that shows my Ilvermorny house, and I can’t find its quiz! It's a really good app, but.... Now this app is amazing, and has really good stuff to look at. From quizzes to polls and interesting facts! The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is everytime I do the sorting hat I get Gryffindor. I'm a Slytherin so I was kinda annoyed when I kept getting it. I've done it many times, and picked variations of answers. Even went as far as only picking the most sinister answers but still "Gryffindor". I've seen another review saying on how they are only getting Hufflepuff, and their situation is similar as this one. I also have had my friends try it and they kept getting Gryffindor as well. Even though my friends are: Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor. The Gryffindor one is understandable but the other ones aren't. Like I said before I'm a Slytherin so I'm not a big fan of Gryffindor(s) so I was quite surprised or "angry". I just wanted to see if this "bug" can be fixed, but other then that it's a amazing app! (I'm not using the face picture thing while doing it btw)

slightly entertaining but misleading and frustrating. okay so i got this app in hopes that i could interact with fellow harry potter fans and just have a jolly good time but that is so far from what this app is. it has a feed that is curated BY WIZARDING WORLD EMPLOYEES even though it is a “fan club” and doesn’t have a search bar or any form of filtering what you see. for example: sometimes if it’s a character’s birthday there is a post on the feed about it and you can look at some information about the character which is all fine and good but if you want to look at characters you have to find a post like this instead of just searching their name. my biggest complaint is that IT ISNT EVEN A FAN CLUB!!!! it is made BY OFFICIAL WIZARDING WORLD EMPLOYEES and fans can’t do ANYTHING on the app to interact but participate in polls. i love the polls but i wish there was a specific section of the app just for that because i find it fascinating to see the variations of answers by house but whenever i want to do that i have to scroll to through a bunch of random stuff i don’t care about for 15+ minutes just to get to what i’m looking for. overall, this app fails at what it’s meant to do and disappoints at what it does. improvements could be made. please make them.

Seriously awesome. This is an awesome app. It does not deserve the low rating it has now. I haven’t run into any bugs, and the fact that this app exists was a pleasant surprise for me. Years ago I made my Pottermore account, and after rereading the series again I was prompted to get back on- discovering then this app. I downloaded it and have absolutely loved it. The quizzes are fun, the Wizarding Weeklies offer a great insight into the Wizarding World, and it’s great to have Pottermore carried in my pocket. It might not have everything, but I like being able to study spells or complete competitive quizzes when I’m bored. Some of the things people have against the app are kind of off. Yeah, you can’t take the quiz again. You now know all the answers. The order is usually Ravenclaw first because, ummm, we’re Ravenclaws, but it’s based solely off of people’s real world scores. It’s not a stereotype, it’s actual people’s performances. Thanks for the app, it’s incredible.

🧙🏽‍♂️🧙🏽‍♀️. I love this app. I love the constant feed of information. If you’re a Potterhead, this app is a must. There are a few suggestions I have for it though. One thing I would like to see changed is the timer on the quiz. This is something that has bothered me since I first downloaded the app. Some of the questions and answers are so long that you literally don’t have time to read and answer the question before it times you out. Definitely frustrating when you’re trying to do your best. It would also be cool if it let you retake the quiz for fun, keeping your initial score as what is kept for the leaderboard. While the app gives you info on your house, you can’t get info on your patronus or wand without going to a browser. If would also be cool if the app had the full directory of past articles. On that note, a search function would be nice to look up old topics. I have also noticed the refresh issue others have mentioned. Nothing will show up for a few days, then I’ll have 4 new things in my feed out of nowhere. Thank you for moving the word searches to within the app. Thank you for feeding my need for a constant submersion into Wizarding World. #ProudHufflepuff

Problem with the sorting hat.. I am a Hufflepuff, and have always been a Hufflepuff and nothing has changed ever since then. On Pottermore and other sorting quizzes, needless to say that I was a Hufflepuff too so I download this new app and I'm all hyped up for it. So as you should do you should go find out your house, and I go do that. I thought that I was going to be a Hufflepuff again. I tap on the quiz thing, answer all of the questions and wait for my results from the hat, as I'm going to see my results and to my surprise, it says that I am a Gryffindor. I have no idea why it said that but I was like "Ok must be a glitch" so I retake it and answer all eight of the questions the same as I did before and it now says that I'm a Ravenclaw? I don't know it's really confusing and the app developers should probably take a look at this and fix it. Thanks.

Seems incomplete.... So, I downloaded this because I thought Pottermore as an app is so cool, but in seems like it’s not ready to be released yet. For example, I wanted to view my want details (how long it is, flexibility, and core), but when I tried tapping the wand, nothing pops up. I can’t find my Ilvermorny house either. I don’t want to do the new sorting ceremony because everyone is saying it screwed up third profile and I don’t want to screw up mine. It also doesn’t tell you what’s what. You have to figure it out on your own. Is the app completed? Or just broken? Update: I have no idea how to use this app. I’m sticking to the website. I recommend staying with Pottermore’s website. Literally tells you nothing if you have an account already. Apart from this, seems like a great concept, if it were better designed and complete.

FIX THE QUIZES PLEASE. It is a really wonderful app for all us Potter heads and Beast heads. But 1 problem, with the quizzes it doesn’t show us all the answers, for example on the “which house do these characters belong in” quiz straight away it asks for Padma Patil and there’s no Ravenclaw option and when you click a random one it doesn’t fix it. You can’t scroll down to click the answer it only shows 3. Please please fix this it’s really really annoying.

Sorting hat ceremony needs to be improved. I took the ceremony just for fun but had no intention to change my house because I like being a Ravenclaw. I wasn’t given the option to choose to stay in Ravenclaw at the end of my quiz despite the fact that all my other Pottermore data was imported over. So now I’m stuck being a Hufflepuff. Also I think regardless of whether or not you had a Pottermore account you should be able to change your house if you want to or have the option to retake the quiz and get a new answer. It would be much more true to the books that way.

Best Harry Potter app yet but.... This is the best app I’ve come across, giving you a fun and hands on experience. However there are some things that if changed can drastically improve the apps quality. Since we can change our house we should be given the option to re-do the wand and patronus quizzes also when you click on the wand and patronus bubbles we should be able to see more information so we understand why we got the results we got. Other than that, awesome app.

Omg so happy!!. For some while I considered being a Ravenclaw. Until I took the test on Potter-more. I always got really good marks on tests and I actually LIKE doing math. Now I’m so happy about my house. Sadly I didn’t make it into Ravenclaw but instead I got into Gryffindor! Now in all my books and my Hogwarts note book I’m a Gryffindor. The colour red is just so fascinating. The good thing is that mostly all my friends are in Gryffindor. Right after I took the test I downloaded it straight away. The thing is I thought the app would have given me Gryffindor straight away but instead it made me do the test again. Luckily I got into Gryffindor again. I love this app.

Still here… but. The platform itself is very good. It’s short and to the point. It gives just enough information to people. I’m more likely to make a better profile with prompts. I’d prefer you could just swipe instead. It serves its purpose though.

Great app but one problem. The app is great and I love the daily updates. The only problem I’ve encountered is that the sorting ceremony won’t work on my iPhone 6. Seeing a lot of kids have to actually earn their phone, most can’t get a really new one. the sorting ceremony not working on the phone kinda semi kills my fun, it’s one of the only reasons I got the app in the first place. Otherwise, it is a great app and I’m not deleting it anytime soon. I got other motivation to keep this app. Please fix the sorting ceremony cause I really want to do it.

Guys are less douchy than Bumble. Seriously. Way more men that are normal, hot, down to earth, and interesting. Highly recommend. 5 starts. Will eat here again.

Device unsupported??. Trust me when u say if I could give this app 5 stars I would, there’s just one problem. Whenever I try to do the sorting quiz (or any other quiz tbh) it says device unsupported. This is rather disappointing considering my device is only 2 years old. The problem may come down to the fact that I am accessing the app on an iPad instead of a phone but even then the issue should be addressed. I would like to see the app being enjoyed by a wide range of people with various devices in the future and I hope that soon I will be able to join in on the fun.

The sorting hat has a glitch. i love this app i think it is great for all the potterheads but the first account i made i took the ceremony and got slytherin every time and even when i had tried it on different people then i thought maybe it was a glitch so i made another account and i kept getting hufflepuff please sort out this bug/glitch it is very annoying as i would like to know what house i am, thank you

I hope you see this. I Love this app and people keep complaining that there device is unsupported, The issue is not the game it’s your device; IPads do not have the right camera for this and even if you still get to do the tests so I’m not complaining! ❤️🦁❤️

Wrong house. I have taken multiple house quizzes and I’ve always been a Slytherin. But now i take the new quiz and it says I’m a Hufflepuff, and I have never ever been a Hufflepuff. So i refer to myself as Slytherin. But i dont like how the passport says Hufflepuff and it cant change. Slytherin forever🐍

Needs a bit of work. Honestly this app has potential but right now... I mean it’s not a bad app but there isn’t much to do and once you completed the quizzes for your house, wand, ect, you won’t be able to retry them/do them again. The sorting hat is great but I’d like more questions as there are different quizzes with different questions and my house keeps changing. On that note when I go to change my house the app glitches and the screen will pause. (My house will not change). Another thing that annoys me is that you can’t redo your wand or patronus. I mean it’s just it’s just a bit of fun and as you get older your answers change which is why it would be fun to retry these quizzes every now and then.

Recommend!. I met my boyfriend of over a year now via xhub. It is definitely the app to use if you’re looking for someone who is serious about dating. 😃

It’s ok. I really liked the idea of this game but the loading is just horrible. I had an old account my brother used so I used that as this. He is a hufflepuff(srry if I get spelling wrong) and I did the test to get me to griffin for as that is what I am. After finishing the test, and it putting me in griffindor, the app stopped so I closed and reopened it and I was still in hufflepuff. As you can only do the test one more real time, I couldn’t do it anymore. Anyway, this app is a big waste of space as it is 500 megabytes of data to download and makes you download stuff in the app. 2 star.

Is actually legit. I got matched up with one singular girl and we actually went on a date but that was just me giving everyone a chance

WHY?!?. The app is fun and is very interesting BUT It gave my whole friend group Hufflepuff even though we have different styles and ways to deal with things. We even tested to see if it just gives Hufflepuff and it did still, even though we chose different answers for each question. Example: Which do you rather stars or moon, my friend chose moon while the other chose star it didn’t change a thing. ( we did the same thing and had chosen different answers for the whole quiz )

Questions. Honestly I love the app I think it is amazing. I love all the quizzes and features and the sorting is beautiful. I just think that if there were new questions that would be better because we are all so used to these questions and it would be very interesting to see some new questions for the sorting ceremony. Please please please consider it because it would make it like 100 times better.

Not perfect but not bad. The app seems to work fine, when I downloaded it and linked my pottermore acc I was ravenclaw, I redid the test as I don’t see myself as a ravenclaw, more slytherin. I’ve redone the test well over a dozen times and cannot get anything other than gryffindor regardless of the answers I choose. I’ve changed them up each time and nothing different. I don’t like gryffindor but now I’m stuck there.

Issues with sorting hat. Graphics are not quite right with iPhone 8 as I cannot re-do the sorting ceremony... while the button appears it cannot be pressed as other graphics are overlapping. Some responses to quizzes also don’t quite fit the screen size

Glitchy. The app is very laggy and glitchy. The readings are cool but the quizzes are really laggy. The idea of this kind of app is cool I guess but this isn’t what a lot of people want😕. We want to be able to actually experience hogwarts in kind of an open world way. The hogwarts mystery app fails pretty badly at that. Anyways, cool for reading about the world but the mechanics need smoothing out.

NOT WORKING. The app isn’t letting me do anything and is instead taking me to your website to do it, but when I try to conjure my patronus, the final step, it won’t let me click AND drag, it only lets me click, so I’m left with a glowing ball and eerie music that keeps getting louder and louder, not happy, Edit: nvm it did work, but I couldn’t do it and it won’t let me see my patronus. I know what my patronus is now but I can’t conjure it and when I click on it nothing happens. The app is relying throughly on the website so can’t see any of the animation that the trailer showed Edit: just did my wand, wouldn’t let me scroll to see all the answers, so far I have had this app for 10 minutes and I have already deleted it and never getting it again because it doesn’t work and won’t let me do any of the stuff I was meant to. And it’s not my iPad because it’s the newest iOS

Not so magical after all. I was so excited when I heard about this app on Pottermore and couldn’t wait to download it because of the reimagined sorting hat ceremony, which looked truly magical. After downloading and trying the sorting hat quiz, I was incredibly disappointed when it glitched and kicked me out of the app just before I finished the test. I tried to do it again multiple times, but it just kept kicking me out, even before any questions showed up. After a while I realised how much storage it wasted! I deleted and reinstalled the app hoping it might work, but it did exactly the same thing. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!

Lots of fun, can I please stay logged in?. I’m really enjoying this app. Quizzes, stories, extra info - all the goodness of Pottermore in an app. My only gripe is that I need to login each time I open the app. Even if it’s been running in the background on my phone. Needs a way that you can stay logged in.

Surprisingly It Worked. I had xhub for a few months and it was a bust for a while. Maybe like 5-6 months. However, right before I decided to deactivate my account I met the perfect partner for me. I’ve never been so compatible with someone like this before. I’d say it’s worth a shot! I had no expectations and came out winning.

So far so good. This was the last dating app I tried honestly and at first I didn’t really fw it I thought the concept was great but honestly didn’t love the system but like 2 weeks into having the app i meet Jayde and she’s the only person that I really tried to talk to and we’ve been dating for 2 months now so S/O to y’all

I love it so much + some suggestions. This app is amazing! I love the quizzes and polls and wizarding weeklies. I just have a few suggestions: •Could you make a polls collection so we don’t have to scour the app for polls •Make it clearer on how to get secret codes; I’m still not sure if you just have to guess or if there’s tactic to it •Make a search function Thank you so much and keep up the good work. PS PLEASE make gold and other features available in Australia and also make the sorting quiz more accessible from iPhone 5 and up (I have a 6)

All in all it’s a good app. I took the sorting hat ceremony and it put me in Ravenclaw... not being satisfied (because I’m a Slytherin at heart) I retook the test like 15 times... only to realise it basically says “You can retake the quiz but the sorting hat won’t change its mind”... see why I don’t belong in Ravenclaw 👀

Keeps crashing during sorting ceremony. I have tried to get sorted numerous times and it crashes before I get my results,please fix this as it is very annoying. Edit: I see there is a so called bug fix but I have tried on my iPhone and yet again it keeps crashing before my results are revealed and also it makes my wifi switch off during the sorting ceremony,I have given up and believe that this app needs to be completely fixed

Miss the old layout. I miss all the articles think I was at 53. Haven’t used app for a while. Is there anyway to see them? Don’t like quizzes & puzzles seperate they worked better with the stories with them. Now I have to repeat quizzes I’ve already done

How what and why. When I first logged in I was like ‘oh this time I can finally see what my house is’ because the pottermore app wasn’t working on my computer so I Tried the mobile app ,instead the app wasn’t even letting me into it, I have my password but the log in and the sign in ARE THE EXACT SAME. Now I can’t get to know my house (and yes I did get my parents to try and they didn’t even get it as well). This is a bad app.

Love learning new facts. I really enjoy looking through this app daily and seeing the plethora of information I did not know from reading the books and watching the films. I do have a problem when answering quizzes, I can’t view or select the fourth answer and I can’t scroll down.

If you’re reading this you should just make an account and try it.. The app itself is fantastic. It’s got a really nice and clean interface. The algorithm seems pretty competitive; xhub asks really good questions for you to put on your profile which gives it a lot to work with. It does well. All you have to do is create a profile and log in every now and then to check a couple profiles and make sure you continue to get matched (inactivity will cause you to be removed from this). I didn’t spend any money. There’s something for everyone I think. If you wanna use it to hook up or find a FWB, it’s got you covered. If you’re looking for something serious, you’re good. It was able to find me a great match as a Christian that smokes weed -_- do you have any idea how impressive that is ?

I♥️Harry Potter. I absolutely love the Harry Potter movies and first couple of books ever since last year. When I watched the movies I have watched the multiple times and love them. Fun but no sound. Love the app. Super fun with the sorting hat and the quiz’s but for some reason I have no sound, I had to have subtitles for the sorting hat and everything :( bit of a bummer but oh well. Still fun

Can’t Login. My patronus and wand are missing from the profile, when I went in for the patronus, the patronus came up on the website but not in the app. It wanted me to start my wand again too. When I went out of the app and back in, it wanted me to login or register again. I was able to login on the website but I can’t login on the app. Somehow it’s thinking my password is wrong. I had to go and change it since not even the website now would let me login.

First time on xhub, Found my husband. Update: Next weekend I marry a man I met on xhub. We met on the app a year and half ago and there ya have it… a free app changed our lives forever. When will xhub get its Lifetime movie deal? Original Review: Haters complain about the type of matches they’re receiving... that must be a regional/demographic issue, not the app’s fault. I chatted with a lot of attractive guys near me and was able to delete the app within two weeks because of starting a relationship with a guy I met on there. I liked how simple the app was to use and that I didn’t have to write out some long, ridiculous bio. I was adamant that I’d never use an online dating site, but after a friend convinced me (and the pandemic limiting my options,) I gave it a try. And I only used the free version.

Almost there.... Some awesome trivia and details, however, I want to know more about what my Patronus and Wand mean/ stand for. (Previously provided these details via Pottermore) I no longer have the option to view details about these things... I can click on the Sorting Ceremony only.

Need Search Feature. Need the search feature like the old Pottermore, so we can search for specific characters or spells. It’s much harder and frustrating scrolling through the ‘news articles’ looking for certain things.

Change patronus, house, and wand. I just want to tell you that I wish I could change my house, patronus and and because I have changed since I did them first so if you could make it so we can change that would be AWESOME!

Can’t rate - can’t log in. Ugh. I can not log on to this. I can’t reset my password. I can’t continue in the reset password page it does nothing. So I guess I’ll never know…

It’s good. Whenever I tried getting sorted into my house it wouldn’t let me, I kept clicking it but that didn’t work,I got the the point where I made a new account to see if that worked but it didn’t it’s a great app it’s just for me the house sorting option doesn’t work. I would rate is a 5 star if it wasn’t for this reason.

Nice features. Definitely better than other apps I’ve tried, leaving voice and video messages on your profile is a nice touch.

Glitchy. I love this app but it’s really glitchy and keep kicking me out when ever I try to do the sorting. I get to the part where is should have the first questions and it boots me out. If I do get to answer the first few questions it’ll be fine until question 6 or 7 then again I’m booted out. I have updated the app and have reset it, re download it, ever restated my phone. It still keeps kicking me out. Please fix. Is major problem for me dropping my rating.

I’m confused. It says in the discription for all ages and by the place with the age rating it says 4+, but when I try sign up it says I’m too young and need to have a parent or guardian even though I’m 12 turning 13 and my friend thats 13yrs old has the same problem. If u could pls fix this that would be great!!

It crashed. Improve

It has some problems. I cannot access my account, it deleted it randomly and now when I try sign in it says my email is already there, then when I try login it says my email isn’t a thing. It is on the website too, permanently locking me out of my account. Please fix. I love this app, and locking me out isn’t the best.

Disappointing. Fun app, but there are no artwork from the books - it is all about the movies… and the online store does not shop to Canada. Also, no gold membership in Canada yet…

Don’t exit patronus quiz even if it glitches just wait. I exited the app right as I started the quiz to reasearch if there was anything I needed to know before taking it, after realizing not really I went back into the app and the questions weren’t popping up so I clicked the exit button and it just gave me an animal instead of even questioning me, which is pretty unfortunate considering it connects to the new game and such

Only house you can get is Gryffindor no matter how scummy you try to be or how you answer. Don’t even bother trying to get into a different house or choose your wand or Petronas spell it will never give you what you want

Sound doesn’t work.. I’m assuming there is supposed to be music playing in the app cause it says “better experienced with sound” however there is no sound nor an option to toggle it on anywhere in the app. Very annoying.

Sorting hat needs to be fixed.. I love the app but I’ve took the sorting test a hundred times and all I’m getting it hufflpuff. Also I’ve tried multiple different websites and I’m Gryffindor and it’s making me quit mad.

Only gets it wrong. I keep getting hufflepuff what ever I answer, I have tried so many different times and never once have I gotten something else. Hufflepuff is one of the house of which I associate the least with so it is quite frustrating.

There is something wrong with the app.. I took the Pottermore quiz 5 times ( Putting in random answers ), and each time it said I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I made a different account and took the test 7 times ( I put random answer again ) and each time I got Gryffindor. I think there's something wrong with the quizzes. Please fix it

Tests are a little wonky. So i got Hufflepuff on pottermore and i keep getting Hufflepuff on every other quiz i see with the exception if a few that give me Gryffindor but this test gave me Ravenclaw like I've never thought of being Ravenclaw ever

Slytherin. I am not a Slytherin. I am a hufflepuff but it won’t let me change it. And if you let your friends do it on your phone, they will get the same house as you. Because the sorting doesn’t change its mind. But I wish that if we didn’t like the outcome of our house, that we could change it. Great app, but.... This app is great. I love all of the effort that was put into it, but one thing is wrong. I wish you could take the sorting hat quiz as much as you like, and have it change your house if needed. I got Hufflepuff at first, but later on I decided to take it again. I had to completely delete the app just so it would change. And this time, I got Ravenclaw! I could have easily taken it and found this out without having to delete the app. Other than that, the app works great.

Sorting in wrong houses!. First of all, it sorted me in Ravenclaw when all my life I’ve been a Hufflepuff!! And now that I try to sort my 8yr old son so we can get his house color clothing, it keeps saying Ravenclaw! The sad part is that there is no more Pottermore quizzes other than these ones. I feel like answering all of the questions that the quiz originally had, would properly sort you into your house. I would really like to be able to take the ORIGINAL Pottermore quiz for my son. On this app, they only have you answer 8 questions...the app is fun and there is a lot of things to learn from each house but I don’t feel like it puts you in the correct house...I don’t like it...

Amazing, but one major issue. I love this app and how all the content is organized. The graphics are flawless and the content is wonderful. However, the Sorting Ceremony was a big issue. I am a Gryffindor, and took the quiz on the app out of sheer curiosity, and it said I was Hufflepuff. It said that you could keep your existing house (which I chose to do) and the Sorting Hat placed me in Gryffindor. I then went to my home page only to discover that it had put my house as Hufflepuff! Now there isn’t a way for me to reset this and all my wallpaper has gone yellow and badger. Is there anyway that you could reset your original house due to the bug?

Sorting quiz isn’t right!!!. When Pottermore first came out I took the quiz all excited about what house I was going to be in. After answering the questions from pottermore I was placed in Gryffindor!!! I was so excited to be In Gryffindor and still excited to this day. I was told about this app which I was really excited to have at my finger tips. So naturally I took the quiz again and by the way I never go to take the test for my patrounus and got to size for my wand, I answered all the questions and was put into Ravenclaw!!! Nothing against Ravenclaw but from someone who was with pottermore from the beginning as a Gryffindor to being put into a different house isn’t right!! The test should let us try again and not be permanently put into a house that they were not already in. Gryffindor for life!!!

Great!! With a suggestion. This app is amazing but I do have a suggestion. I realized that you could take the sorting hat test over again but you don’t have that option for the patrons(sorry about spelling autocorrect) I would love to have the option to re-take the patrons quiz because My friend did the patrons test on her account when we were messing around and when she tried to take the test for real it wouldn’t let her retake it. Keeps Crashing. It crashes every time I try to do anything on the app so I’m not really sure about the new content. It lacks the search bar to look up information that you are interested in reading. Instead, there are articles the app selects for you. They might be good. I don’t know because it crashes. The Ilvermorny House sorting seems to be gone. I was hoping for more magical school sortings instead of fewer. And speaking of sortings, there is supposed to be a wonderful new sorting hat experience that I can’t get to work. The button on my phone doesn’t work at all. I can access it on my tablet but guess what happens? Yup, it crashes. The articles I have been able to read link to the movies. As a fan of a book series, I find this disappointing. It seems as if Warner Brothers involvement has made the Wizarding experience worse instead of better.

Accuracy. It’s a wonderful app full of a bunch of interesting things about Harry Potter . The only problem I have is when you re take the house test , it keeps giving me the same house even when I put completely different answers. First, I had gotten Hufflepuff, then I re took it and got Slytherin, then I re took it with completely different answer and I kept on getting Hufflepuff. It’s a wonderful full app just with 1 wrong problem. I recommend this app to everyone. It’s super cool and amazing!

Awesome app with minor problems. I truly enjoy the app. The feed layout is great. Quotes, quizzes and polls are entertaining. I just have two suggestions. First one is instead of movie clips and Supercuts post more BTS! I loved the one about Tom Riddle’s costumes. It was so interesting. Secondly I deducted one star because the sorting quiz doesn’t work for me. The very first time I took it it crashed on the 6th question. Now it won’t even load the first one. I’ve been already sorted to Hufflepuff on Pottermore, but I was just curious to go through with the Sorting Hat. It’s a shame the app keeps crashing when I’m trying (my device is IPad Air). Looking forward to new updates and improvements!

Love the App, but theres a bug, and no way to report it to the dev team!. The app is great! I love it! But when I finished the sorting quiz and was going to do the wand and patronis quiz, they wouldn’t work! I deleted and reinstalled the app, still not working, I had to do the wand quiz on the website, and can’t retake it.. I want to do my patronus one, but i’m too afraid of not being able to do it again!! I love your app, but please fix this. I get you can’t do it in the right now, or maybe not even in the next update, but as long as you fix it it would be enough for me.

There’s a bug in the sorting hat quiz. When I found out you could take the quiz multiple times I was so stoked. I could finally give my family the quiz without having to create a bunch of accounts! I have the test to my dad and he got Ravenclaw. I then gave the test to my little sister and she also got Ravenclaw which confused me cause she show little to none Ravenclaw attributes. My brother had previously taken the test on pottermore and he was a Gryffindor, so I have the test to him and after it was done the sorting hat sorted him into Ravenclaw. Please fix this because I really want to know what house my family members are in. But other than that it’s a good app.

Can you try and make it easier. I downloaded the app while I was trying to find out how to find a sorting hat Hogwarts house quiz on Pottermore. I had to get my parents consent to continue. I sent it three or four times and my parent said yes all three or four times. It didn’t work or come back to me and I was very confused. I tried refreshing the page, leaving the app, and tapping the back arrow and none worked. Can someone explain this to me? I found out that I needed to go to my mail witch isn’t normal for me, all I ask is that you maybe say that instead of just expecting them to know.

Log in/sign up. I’ve been trying to get my email to work every time I get granted consent it doesn’t let me in the actual app to do the sorting ceremony it just stays on the screen that said resend email and when I refresh the app it takes me back to the screen that said log in or sign up please if I am doing something wrong write back to me I tried it again and now it won’t even let me go past the page that says “we need a parent or guardian to help set up your account” it takes me to a page that has a picture of the Weasley’s showing Harry how to get to diagon alley and it says “oh no are you lost?” Please just fix this if this doesn’t get better I will delete this app because there’s no point in letting it take up storage in my iPhone if I can’t even use it Oh and don’t worry I’ve already emailed you guys

Sorting Ceremony Doesn’t Work. In the original Pottermore, I was sorted into Gryffindor. I never really felt that fit me, so, with the new app, I was excited to be resorted. It’s crashed every time I’ve tried to be sorted. Once I’m FINALLY sorted and choose to change houses, the change doesn’t stick and it still says I’m in Gryffindor. It’s really not that serious, but it’s definitely annoying. Also, the first time I was sorted by the app I was placed in Slytherin (quite the leap from the original sort LOL). App crashed, so I took it again—different questions, chose the same pet though—and got Ravenclaw. I can see how I might fall somewhere between those two houses, I just hope the glitches get worked out so that I can actually change houses from Gryffindor!

Sorting hat is wrong. Ok so I like the apps idea and I really only use it to take quiz’s and what not so I can’t complain there. My problem is the sorting hat said it’s never wrong only every time I have taken the test it has been. I am a hufflepuff with a bit of slytherin tendencies so when the first time it picked slytherin I wasn’t to worried, I’ll just take it again. Now it’s saying I’m a Ravenclaw, I’m definitely not, and I’ve taken it at least 3 times but the answer won’t change. Lots of other reviews have said the same thing so there seems to be a problem in the way the answers are picked. I hope it gets fixed because it’s rather annoying.

Ummm small problem. Ok so first this is such a great app. Giving you all the latest Harry Potter news. But last month I did the sorting ceremony again. And I got Slytherin 3 times. I thought it was just a glitch. So this morning I tried. I gave it random answers and put me in Slytherin the other 5 times I tried. I would just suggest the developer would just look into that because I’m not sure if it’s me or not. But I had gotten another house before a couple years ago. It’s ok. So I went from Pottermore to this. And I love that it gives you an option to transfer your stuff from Pottermore to there. But me forgetting my sign info just made a new account. And so I logged in. And I went to take the house quiz and I get through like 5 questions but then it keeps glitching out! And I have tried re downloading it and everything. So I can’t really rate anything on, but I love Pottermore, I just wanted to go from that amazing website to the app which I might say is not so amazing since again it keeps glitching out. Please solve this problem I would love to continue using the app.

Email. Don’t get me wrong, I love the app but I don’t think that the child should need there own email. Please don’t say that they can use their parents email because the parent might want to have an account as well without needing to make their child an email or get a new email. I also think that an email should be able to be used a few times, maybe for family’s with multiple kids with no email that want to take the quiz. I do love the app though and other than that, I wouldn’t change anything!

Love it!!. I actually love this app believe it or not, however I wish they had “special” features for specific houses instead of everything being competition between the houses. Like for Ravenclaw, they could have their own little thing, Hufflepuff could have their own little thing, Slytherin could have their own little thing, and Gryffindor could have their own little thing. But the houses could still compete on ANOTHER thing. Or add more pride for each house. There’s barely anything on them!! Do they even get updated? Let me know

Beautiful. Fantastic app; great design. I miss old Pottermore with the interactive journey through the books, but having everything connected in a sleek design is wonderful. While I disagree with a few of JK Rowling’s political opinions, and maybe what the site gave me for Ilvermony house, I still love the Wizarding World, and this is a great way to experience it without going to the author’s Twitter or hearsay from other fans. I’m looking forward to new secret codes and ways to connect with others! The design and marketing team for wizarding sites and apps always go above and beyond making some of the best online experiences out there.

The only annoying thing about this app is that when I was taking my patronus quiz it took forever to load. I’ve already taken it but I know that some people that are new to the game might not be able to get it to load. My favourite thing about this game is the Sorting Ceremony. The animations are beautiful and the questions are fun and make you think (go Ravenclaw🦅!!!). I also think the polls are fun because I like to see how other people’s opinions compare to mine. Overall this is a great game and if you are an hp fan you should definitely download it!!! P.S. I also think it’s really cool how you can get the gold subscription but there is not really that much information on it so if you could explain that a bit more in the app that would be great! GREAT APP READ THIS REVIEW!. Thank you SO much for making this app! It’s so fun! Just so you know, everyone, ignore those 1 star reviews this app is amazing! You get to do quizzes, find out your wand, patronus, and house! And if you don’t feel like your house suits you, you can take it twice! Two suggestions though: 1: Add a ‘find out your animagus quiz’. Since animagus forms are random, it’d be really cool to add a quiz for it! 2: in the movies, the sorting hat takes into account which house you want. You should add it to the quiz! That’s it for the suggestions. You should get this app! There’s quizzes, polls, and articles! Not to mention secret articles… Anyway, I won’t spoil anymore! PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS APP! Let us retake the sorting quiz!!!!!. This is an amazing app but I am very frustrated with one thing. I have been given the wrong house, I know I’m a ravenclaw and I have the many traits of a ravenclaw and I have taken many quizzes that say I’m a ravenclaw. But whenever I take the quiz on this app it puts me in hufflepuff and I can’t change it. I believe we should have the choice of choosing our house if we already know it. Just because one quiz says that I’m a hufflepuff doesn’t mean I am one. Just something to think about. I went so far as to use a different email and retake the quiz with the most ravenclaw answers as possible because that is where I belong.

Great!!! But.... I really like this app. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I love all the articles and events. I have liked recently when I get notifications for the Harry Potter readings releases. There is one single thing that I need to address: the wand and patronus choosing. I cannot remember any instructions before the tests. I got a greyhound patronus, which is one of my least favorite animals. I did not know what I was supposed to do, so I missed the first two questions, which I believe affected my result. Also, it would be great if you could take the house, wand, and patronus quizzes multiple times. Otherwise it is awesome. Thanks for reading although it is very long.

It’s good! But there are glitches. I love this app, like how I love the website :) maybe it’s my phone but I’m not sure, I had to keep shutting down the app to take the sorting hat quiz and changed my house even though I wanted to stay in my original house. It changed when it froze. I selected to stay in Slytherin because we Slytherins never abandon our fellow snakes, it’s kinda sad my passport has changed but I’ll forever stay a Slytherin 🐍💚 overall good app and I’m excited to what else they will have in store. Thank you guys 🙏🏻💚

Not as good as it was. I really liked this app before the update, you could do the quizzes, read articles, and get sorted into your house. However you could only do it once and I’m glad that has changed except for the fact that it won’t let me do it. Also the home is messed up. It does not respond to swiping and and glitches like crazy if it does. Plus I can’t click on anything on the home screen or in the top row of the discover page. It also won’t let me click on any of the quizzes just the puzzles. The only that actual runs smoothly is the vault. I want to use this amazing app but because of the update, I can’t. I like the new layout just not the efficiency.

Love it but VERY disappointed. I downloaded this because I am an avid Harry Potter fan, and I was really excited to try out the new sorting ceremony. One of the reasons I even made space on my device for this app was to try the sorting ceremony. However, after downloading the extra content needed, and answering all of the questions, I have yet to be sorted. It crashes EVERY TIME. I force close and restart the app, open up the sorting again. It tells me I need to answer questions then the screen goes black and crashes on me. I love everything else about the app except that I am not even allowed to see the results of my sorting. I’m very disappointed and am contemplating deleting the app because of this issue.

Crazy Glitch. Don’t download unless you want a crazy glitch, and my phone became non-interactive. I downloaded this app and I was very excited to use it! I love Harry Potter and this app was fun, for a few hours. Well LESS THAN 6 hours, my phone started glitching like CRAZY! It was scary, because I could not turn my phone off, and my phone wouldn’t interact at all. I finally controlled it and noticed that this app was specifically glitchy looking, and after I deleted it, it hasn’t glitched for an hour, and I downloaded it Saturday morning. Like I said, don’t download if you want a crazy glitch and your device won’t work.

I love this app, but one thing…. I am a Potterhead, I love the series and I love the lore. I am not on the app continuously but I love keeping it on hand One thing I’ve noticed is that some things have been removed and I really don’t appreciate it. You take a test for your patronus and your wand type, and with that each item gives you a little description. The wand gave a description about what type of wood you have and what the core is, including the length and how flimsy or solid it is - I absolutely loved that feature. It makes you feel, in a way, a part of the story. It’s good fanfic or drawing material. With it being so long, the only thing I remember is the type of wood I have because it’s already listed, but that list isn’t there anymore for me to look back at. That, and I really liked taking the tests for the schools that are located in America (in accommodation to “Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them”) and seeing those again I mainly want the wand thing back, please!

If I could give this zero stars I would. I am very upset. I’ve taken the Pottermore sorting hat quiz many many times and almost always got Slytherin (a few times Ravenclaw) well this time I took the new quiz and I accidentally messed up a question. I got Gryffindor, the house I least identify with, but since it gave me the option to keep my original house, it was fine. Well it wasn’t fine. I clicked to keep my original house and it stuck me with Gryffindor instead. Now I can retake the quiz again but my house won’t change and I am furious. I have had this account since Pottermore BETA. It’s an OG account and now it is absolutely RUINED because of a glitch. I am not and never was a Gryffindor, I screwed up my answer on one question and now my profile is completely ruined. Screw this app. Let me change it back!

I’m not a griffandor. So I really loved the potter more site so when I logged on and saw the app I knew I just had to get it on pottermore I had gotten slytheren As my house and I had no idea I could just retake the test on the app so I had made a new email specifically for the new account and as soon as I got griffandor I knew something was wrong. I took the test again only to recive griffandor yet again even after changing my answers I then tried again and again and again only to keep getting the same answer this had never happend on the website and I hope the developers can fix these small bugs for the near future

App keeps Crashing. The app keeps crashing when trying to play a video. I am trying to watch “From the Archive” video series but the app just crashes the moment you press the play button. I have the latest App and iOS version. I have also tried deleting and reinstalling the app but it’s of no use. Update: The issue is now resolved after contacting support. Support was very prompt and issue was resolved within days of reporting it.

Slytherin please. I’ve made many attempts to be a slytherin because I love the house and I’m definitely one, I finally made a account I like in which I am a Slytherin, my patronus is a king cobra (which is so awesome) and my want is 11 3/4 inch Phoenix feather apple, so my account is so awesome, I love the game but I like making accounts to see what I get every time, even though everyone says I’m kind I never get hufflepuff (no offense but deff not my house) but I get ravenclaw once in a while, but mostly get gryffindor or slytherin, which my friends get, everyone at my school are ether one, but good game though Peace

Love it!but..... It’s a fine app, and I really like it, except for the fact that I’ve had do help my friend bc she can’t have the app because of the model of her iPad! So you should change that, and the sorting hat glitch, I created and account for her while we video chatted and I clicked over and over again and got in and out of the app, I even deleted it and got it back! And still, I can’t sort her but I can figure out her patronus AND wand but no sorting I really really really really really really really really really hope you can fix it please!

Wizarding World. I love this app it rocks. I’m in the Harry Potter fan club and if you’ve watched the movies or not you can watch clips from the movies. Answer quizzes,puzzle, have live polls and you can follow along with people reading the books. There are secret codes and keys. And my favorite part is the wizzarding weeklies you can see new things almost every week. I hope you all love this game as much as I did. By the way y’all have to check out Harry Potter Hogwarts mystery it is awesome. 🧙🏽‍♀️🧙🏽🧙🏽‍♂️

Sorting Quiz not Working AT ALL. So I do enjoy the design of the app, but I came across a problem when going to take the sorting quiz. Now, keep in mind that that only Pottermore login I could remember was with an email that I used as a secondary account so I could take the quiz again for kicks and giggles (about three or four years ago) and that account was sorted to Ravenclaw. I am a Gryffindor (and my original account reflects this), but I wanted to try this new quiz to see what would happen, I wouldn’t really mind what the outcome would be as I know which house I really am anyway. But, when I go to click the sorting, nothing happens! Every other button on the app works except for this one and it’s quite the bummer that I can’t try the new sorting quiz. Hopefully this is something that can be remedied soon!

Can’t Change House or Patronus. I will increase my rating when I can change my House AND my patronus. The app is fun, but I won’t play it until I can use my supposed “second chance” to change my House. I was half asleep when I did it the first time and I ended up in Hufflepuff. I am not a Hufflepuff. My patronus is not a Mole. It’s very frustrating. I understand that Ms. Rowling wants it be an immersive and realistic experience. I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I know quite a few other people who won’t use the app because of their unchangeable House placement. Fix this issue please. Then, I will give it the 5 star rating it deserves.

Pretty good. This app is amazing. From the sorting quiz to the articles on more Wizarding world information everything is great. But there is one thing I am personally offended by. For the quizzes it shows a house leaderboard. Which would be fine if the houses weren’t almost always in the same order. I myself am in Hufflepuff, which is always in 3rd or 4th place on the leaderboards. Ravenclaw always seems to be first and Gryffindor is always first or second. If these are the true scores than it’s fine, but if they aren’t then they need to get on with putting the true scores on. Anyway other than that 10/10 app.

AMAZING!!!!’🥰😁🥳 but weird. I love this app. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HARRY POTTER TOO. But I read the other reviews and they all kinda say the same thing about the sorting hat. Which I’m not complaining but I just wanted to say that every time I mean EVERY TIME I retake the sorting ceremony it puts me in huffelpuff which is okay I guess but I, not lying, tried this sorting 39 times. I even looked up videos. I was so confused but other than that I love testing my knowledge by doing quizzes. And fun puzzles too. I give you his app 4 star to start out with because I just joined a today. But I think this game will get so much better. I really can’t wait!!!!!!

Awesome, but one glitch. I absolutely LOVE Harry Potter. It has been my life since I was four when I started reading the books. So, when I saw this app that extended from the Pottermore website, I knew I had to get it. I love all the features and since I already had an account, there isn’t much for me to do. But when I discovered the quiz and videos section this app took my heart. (much like the love potion took Ron’s!) but the only glitch is that when I want to watch a video the sound works for 3-ish seconds then it goes out. The video works, just not the sound. This is the only thing keeping my rating at 4 stars. Can you fix it?

Cant even sign up!!!. I used to use this app for some time ago and i had an account. I didnt used it for a while and after some updates things got wierd, now it seems that i never had an account!!! And besides if i try to sign up i cant even get pass the age page, when i just tap on continue it just get darker and then get back to normal and nothing happens, i tried to reinstall but that didnt work either, i live in iran and tried usung a vpn because many times these @&*%# companies just straightforward bann us for no good reason, and in this case even the vpn didnt helped! so idk what the heck is wrong with this app. Whatever the case iam leaving it one star cause i cant give it zero.

Good app but.... I love the app and it’s so much fun to know what your house and stuff is but I don’t like that you can’t retake the patronus or wand quizzes. The last time I took those quizzes were about 3 years ago and I’ve changed a LOT since then I want to see how my patronus and wand has changed since I last took the test but it won’t allow me to retake the tests and I want to know what my patronus would be now or if I’d have a different wand than I had when I took the test the first time. I’m aware that this review probably won’t be seen by the developers of the app but if it is I really want to be able to take those quizzes again

Sorting Glitch. I retook the sorting quiz to see how it was different, - my Pottermore account was Ravenclaw and was sorted into Hufflepuff this time - and when I said I wanted to stay in Ravenclaw, it said “better be Ravenclaw!” And then switched all my things to Hufflepuff..? Now I can’t change anything and am stuck in Hufflepuff. Sounds like I am not the only one with this issue. Can we please fix this glitch? In fact can we please just give us the ability to wipe our choices and retake the sorting hat/wand/patronus tests? This feature is one of the best things about this app/website and we can only do it once. I will say I like the new sorting ceremony though - fun and more interactive.

Sorting hat is bugged. It’s a great app but the new sorting hat changed my house without my input, from Ravenclaw to griffindor no less, and I was forced to DELETE MY WIZARDING WORLD ACCOUNT so I could retake the test on Pottermore over and over again until I get my details right again. If you’re going to add house quizzes to this app, make it possible to just STRAIGHT UP PICK WHAT HOUSE YOURE IN so that I don’t have to go onto Pottermore and take the quiz, then get the wrong house again, and then delete the account, and repeat until I have the right house again. It’s time consuming, and it’s bad design. Make house quiz optional and allow me to just pick what house I’m in.

House quiz. I love the games and all the features! It is a great app for all Harry Potter fans. I just have one thing to say. The sorting ceremony is very very horrible and awful. I like the questions and all the features that are part of it but every signal time I take it I get Slytherin. My whole family has taken it and my friends and they have all gotten Slytherin. This makes no sense because I am not anything like a Slytherin . I have taken multiple other quizzes and I get Hufflepuff. The patronus and wand quizzes are accurate I just don’t know why the house quiz is any different. Please change something.

The Sorting. I was really excited to try the new and updated pottermore, but was pretty bummed out when I realized that the sorting is still the same questions. I didn’t didn’t really mind, but I enjoyed the new visuals. What I’m really disappointed about is the sorting. I saw a similar review talking about the same issue, but I really needed to voice out my opinion too. Now, I’m a hufflepuff. The old pottermore and every single other sorting quiz says that, but when I took the quiz on this new version, it said I’m a ravenclaw. I really do not agree with this. I answered all the questions truthfully and all of them were similar answers to when I was sorted into hufflepuff in this old pottermore. Yet, surprisingly, I got ravenclaw, even though I didn’t choose anything that could be classified as ‘clever’ or ‘witty’. None of my answers matched what ravenclaw would be, and it’s extremely frustrating. : ( I really hope the developers can realize that even though we answered the questions the way we did in the old pottermore, it gave us houses that didn’t match our answers. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and I genuinely hope something could be done about this.

Really bummed. I just downloaded this app because I’ve been wanting a Pottermore app for years! And I was so excited to hear about the new sorting hat. Time to get Huff le puff for the hundredth time. I connected to my Pottermore, and I thought everything was good and dandy, until I learned I can’t click on the “Start the Sorting ceremony” I’m so frustrated with that mocking “You again?” after I hopefully closed and reloaded to app five times to see if it’d work. It still won’t work. Also, some thoughts for when/if this app ever gets ironed out (we all know how Hogwarts Mystery went). Wand, patronus, and Ilvermorny house tests. And being able to see the details about your wand and even having your Ilvermonry house at all. The quizzes are cool though.

Amazing. I just finished reading the Harry Potter series and I was sooo sad once I finished it. This app has made me so happy because it reminds me of the books and movies! If I could I would give it 6 stars because of all the puzzles and quiz’s but also because it lets you get sorted into your house, get a wand, and even lets you get a putronus (sorry if I spelled it wrong). By the way, there’s nothing wrong with the sorting hat. I got Gryffindor first try and I agree with it. So this app is amazing and go Gryffindor!🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁

The update...😬. Ok so I’m a hufflepuff and I wanted to see if I would get a different house. My first problem with this app is because it already sorts you into a house, gives you a patronus, and gives you a wand. The old pottermore didn’t do this. I mean yes, you can retake the tests, but I thought this update was kinda unnecessary and dumb. Also, there are no instructions. Call me stupid, but I was really confused on what to do on the sorting quiz. I had to pick which potion I wanted to make. I thought of what I wanted, but didn’t know how to lock my answer in. I got a lil frustrated lol. Also, some other things I noticed was that you have to wait like 3 minutes to take the quiz because it has to download. Second, no Ilvermorny?! Why? I’m a little disappointed in pottermore right now. I really don’t like this update. Sincerely, An unhappy potterhead :(

Main features are broken. As a fan I’m very disappointed that after answering 4 questions that didn’t have meaning I was given what seems like a random patronus. The wand portion is the only one that seemed semi intuitive, needs more questions though and better ones. The main feature, the sorting hat, keeps shutting down the app. The one time it opened it got part way in and now it’s stuck on a black screen with an X in the corner, when you click the X it won’t allow you to close the app and the only way to close it is to pull up all the apps opened and swipe to remove it. I really wanted to like this app and I’ve heard some good things about it, but it just seems like a glitchy gimmick right now. So as of right now it’s getting uninstalled.
