Timery has been featured on MacStories, Cortex, Connected, AppStories, Upgrade, and The Sweet Setup.

Federico Viticci, MacStories:

“What sets Timery apart from other time tracking utilities is the unique combination of developer Hribar’s understanding of the needs of Toggl users and his embrace of modern iOS and iPadOS technologies. Timery isn’t just a more customizable Toggl client with advanced features […]; it’s also an exemplary iOS and iPadOS citizen that showcases what great iOS and iPad apps should offer.”

Myke Hurley, Upgrade:

“Timery is my favorite iOS app ever. I get such great use out of it, so it’s personal to me. Time tracking is a big part of my life. But this application—the amount of work that is put into this and new features is truly astounding. […] It’s really just a masterclass in long-term app development.”

Mike Schmitz, The Sweet Setup:

“Timery is hands down the best time tracking app for iOS. It gives you a functional user interface that is perfect for managing your timers and your time entries, the Shortcuts support is stellar, and the widgets eliminate much of the friction that typically comes from starting and stopping manual timers.”

Finally tracking my time regularly thanks to Timery!. I've tried several times in the past to track my time using Toggl track, as I find it to be the time tracker that meets my needs, but after a couple days I have given it up. However, with the way Timery streamlines the interface, I am now having continued success! It feels like an app that the developer uses regularly, because every time you turn around, a feature presents itself that you were just hoping existed. It makes time tracking efficient as possible. It also recognizes that people are going to have to go back and make corrections, and it makes it easy to do this. Thank you for making such a wonderful interface to toggle track!

You should make time. for what's important. Identify what is essential and start traking your time to make it a reality. What gets measured gets managed. Without knowing where your time is going, chaos ensues. This app is easy and fun to use. It's great with syncing on all devices. I highly recommend using Timery today!

No Widget?. I was looking into a time tracking app with widgets. I frequently have to stop my tracker for my work hours, seeing as I have a toddler who gets into everything, especially when I’m trying to work. I wanted a widget, and Googled for such a thing. I came across an article that really talked this one up, including its widgets. And yet, I don’t have available widgets… The app’s features really are great! But I may as well just stick to the one I’ve been using since this one doesn’t offer the one other thing I’m looking for.

Really like Timery; could use minor UI updates. When editing entries on my Mac (for those cases where I forget to stop a timer), when editing time, the tab key doesn't advance from hours to minutes or the like. It's a small thing, but would improve the ease of entry. The whole idea is to use time tracking to monitor my productivity, but the tool diminishes my productivity. Lol. I also wish that the reports let me do reports on the basis of the description. E.g., In addition to all my work projects, I have a top-level “personal” project where I record non-work-related time. But I can't apparently do reports at this level of granularity. So I now have littered my top-level projects with a variety of personal projects. Ideally, I'd love to see sub-projects (i.e., a project hierarchy). Or at least give us the ability to drill into a project and see time by description. Or this seems like an ideal use of “tags”. But other than that, lovely tool. Keep it up.

Helpful but crashes. Timery has helped me keep track of my time as a freelancer. It's easy to use and I like how you can have timers for different things so you can keep track of different jobs seperately. The app crashes from time to time. I dont think I've lost any data, so it's mostly just a little annoying. Not the end of the world, but would be great to catch that bug and kill it!

Check each day summary restricted to 24 hours. Is there a way in settings to check summary of each day restricted to that day only recording. For example, if I am tracking something from 10pm to 2am, it should count 10pm to 12am task in a previous day summary and 12am to 2am task in next day. My current setting record it in one day task which is making it unusable for me. Thanks!

Awesome tool used every day. I bought Timery after hearing how good a tool it was and it is. It works very well, and is simple to use. I never had a sync issue (sometimes restart the app to force a reload of data displayed, but data was NEVER lost). There are ways to configure it (connected to the uderlying Toggle service) to suit your needs, and plenty of extra features as well.

Great app. One thing wrong.. Timery is a great app for productivity and getting focused on your work. I’ve used it for about 3 months now. The one thing wrong: Recently I changed the view of my “Saved Timers” screen by deleting and adding and changing the look of certain timers. Somehow, every time I reload the app, it resets all of the saved timers to the way they were before. This does not affect my current time entries, only the saved entries in that screen.

Great App but not on my Mac. This is a fantastic app. It's taken me some time to really use effectively but the more I use it, the more I like it. This would apply only to the iOS versions. For some reason I can't get it to work on my Mac, which is why I've only given it 4 stars. I'd highly recommend this app for iOS

Close to good. I like the concept and how easily this app allows you to access timers through widgets, but I had to drop a couple stars because the pro version timers did not show the tags I had applied to my timers. That was the feature I wanted the most. Emailed customer support and haven’t heard back. Maybe there is a solution, but I won’t be subscribing unless the feature is there.

Useful app, hope for better performance. Very useful app, but does not have good performance. When adding new entry, there is a significant delay (like 1-2 s) before you can enter anything and it will not remember what you typed before it becomes responsive. Also it constantly using more than 10% of CPU on Apple Silicon. Hope these will get address in the future release.

I can't imagine using Toggl without Timery. A feature request that may not be possible: I wish Timery could take note of when my Mac sleeps or is powered off, and, upon waking, ask if I want to subtrack time offline (and maybe optionally stop all current timers).

Best time tracking out there, I’ve tried a lot. And Timery and the developer really do great work. The UI has a great balance of simplicity and customisation, you can really hone the data you want to see, and the app is on all platforms (super important to me). Thanks for continuing to put in great work to Timery! Will pay more because I use it for every part of my day 😅✌️

So easy to use and customize. I’m a freelancer with multiple clients and multiple projects running simultaneously. Timery/Toggl really gets me organized when it’s time to invoice. I love that I can edit past entries if I forgot to clock something and can edit descriptions to differentiate different work aspects of different projects (i.e editing vs emailing vs meetings, etc.) So easy to use !

Timery is great, support is non-existent.. I've been using Timery for almost 6 months and paying for it since I wanted the advanced features. I've been having problems recently with Timery Shortcuts and have emailed the developer 3/4 times and have heard 0 response. I would like to assume that paying for a subscription would receive a higher level of support, but that is clearly not the case. I'd be happy to change my review if my issues were addressed or even acknowledged. Love the app, but the support needs to be there.

please fix widgets in OS!. update: please fix the widgets! I've emailed support many times with no response - the widget dropdown menus in OS are not working and it really impedes the functionality of the app! the dropdowns to select time span do not respond to clicks! - - - been using timery with toggl on mobile for ages but the desktop experience is really sublime. it's so incredible to have widget integration, and all the same controls I'm used to. I'd been using the Toggl desktop widget before and I do miss the automatic reminders option when I step away and the computer is inactive for a certain amount of time, and also the ability to restart a timer that was stopped. It would also be great to have more integration with shortcuts. But I love this app, I reccommend it fullheartedly

Reports are so frustrating!!. Why can’t I just easily see my time invested into a single project — uncoupled from time constraints — easily??? The reports function is so maddening and stupid, I can’t believe anyone can use this app! So frustrated. I’ve reached out to the developer as well, and no response. The fact that Toggl is so bad that you need a second app to use it speaks to just what a dysfunctional system this is. Again, if it were easy to get a quick view of any one of my projects—what days I worked, how much total time I put into that project—I would be much happier with this app, but it’s impossible to do this! WHY???

Invaluable for easy time tracking. I’ve been beta testing Timery since last summer, and I use it almost every day for time tracking. I love the widget which lets me start and stop my saved timers with one tap. It’s been a huge time saver for tracking my work hours, especially when it’s not convenient to use the Toggl website. Absolutely worth the $10/year subscription as a freelancer with a dozen projects going at all times. Joe has really listened to feedback from the test team and I’m excited to see how this app will continue to grow.

Dashboard Widget Rules!!!. Just found out there was an update that combined multiple widgets into one, I added that and removed the widget stacks I was using before, it’s great!!!! Congrats on such a good job, and to those that haven’t tried it there are a million touches like this that help make this a better than first class timing experience!!!

Fantastic time tracking app. Heard about this app from the Cortex podcast and am very happy with it! It’s a very intuitive way to log in my work time, and visualize my tracked time using the Toggl app in many useful ways! Definitely worth it for the subscription if you want to make the most of this system.

The Perfect Time Tracking App. With today's update that added reporting tools to the app, I can confidently say this is by far the best time tracking app out there. It does everything right. Fantastic widgets for starting timers and viewing live data from the home screen, flexible tools for creating and starting timers, and consistent massive and high quality updates that always make the app way better. If you want to time track, I cannot recommend this app enough.

Solid and necessary companion to Toggl. Really excellent app with continuous developer support. I hesitate to ever use apps with subscriptions, but I can see from the developer perspective that it allows for active app improvement and development, which this developer is really good at and committed to. Love the features of this app, and it's well worth the subscription cost. I track many aspects of my life and this is perhaps the first time I'm starting to find tracking my time (all 24hr of it) to be easy and natural.

Best app and dev ever!. First time reviewing an app. I use this one literally 24/7 for keeping track of my work (self-employed) and it allows me to maximize my productivity. Had an issue with the app, emailed the developer and it was fixed in just a few days. Always support good developers! Get the subscription!

App is great, but buggy. The app is great (though better on ios). It seems like with recent updates I get the spinning wheel quite a bit when trying to access the preferences, etc. within Timery. This doesn't happen in any other apps, only Timery. Aside from that, it's a good app that continues to add nice features.

Changed the way I work!. I've been doing a lot of self-learning lately, and when tackling a complicated subject, progress can be slow and frustrating. I realized the need to move from a results-focused to a process based mindset, and Timery makes it so easy to control timers that I can seamlessly integrate it into my everyday routine. Measuring progress based on time invested has been incredibly motivating and one of the few cures for procrastination that I've found.

Phenomenal. It’s shocking how much classier, more intuitive, more full featured, and more effective this app is than Toggl. It’s such a joy to use, and its use of the Apple ecosystem is also buttery smooth. It’s jaw dropping how easy and quick it is to track my time on my Watch, phone, and Mac. When I think the app can’t get any better, Joe comes out and releases an another earth-shatteringly wonderful new update for Ventura and iOS 16. I am so so happy to support this indie developer. He truly cares about making great software, and is leagues ahead of what Toggl is even doing. And thanks for not making the software pink.

Best Companion. This is the best companion app to Toggl. It’s highly functional with lots of reports and options, quick to run or update a timer and very well designed. I’m removing one star since it doesn’t have a Pomodoro (focus) timer where you can set intervals to work and rest. With the importance of the Pomodoro technique to help people focus, I shouldn’t have to switch to another app to use an interval timer. Even the official mobile Toggl app has a Pomodoro timer. Thank you for a great companion app but please consider adding a focus timer.

Awesome Apple Watch update!. I never write reviews but I wanted to thank the developer for the update adding a proper Apple Watch app. This is life changing, your app is truly awesome, thank you! PS: I would improve a bit further the summary statistics, this is the last part of the app that could be better in my opinion.

Great time tracker for the multiPad lifestyle. Great app at a reasonable subscription price for those who want a better Toggl app. I know it’s early days for this app yet but there are a few features that I’d love to eventually see: 1. A secondary widget with toggle reports like a pie chart that can toggle from daily, weekly, and monthly. 2. A reports tab to see trends in the time tracking that are usually available on the website. 3. Calendar integration like the ability to replace a portion of tracked time with the same duration of a new project. For example, project “study time” being replaced by project/calendar event “work shift.” An automatic method to do this would be phenomenal. 4. A simple Apple Watch app. Preferably a complication too. Keep up the good work.

I don’t get it. I don’t really understand the hype, sure the app is beautiful, but it doesn’t even support some of the basic Toggl features like tasks nor is it able to generate reports, something that’s essential to freelance work. I definitely appreciate the app design but I don’t know that these lacking features make it worthwhile for using this for professional work.

So happy it's on the Mac!. My only complaint I've ever had with Timery is that it was previously iOS only. I used to get so sidetracked/distracted having to pull my phone out to start a timer - this is the best! Definitely the best tracking app out there. I would agree with what another review said - a menu bar app would be lovely in the future :)

Fantastic, just needs Watch support. While I’ve been using Toggl years, it always frustrates me how buggy their mobile apps have been. Timery is great, and addresses all my gripes with the official app (and more!). The only thing that would put it over the top is to add support for the Apple Watch. The new iOS 14 widgets already show the creator has a clear vision for how this could work.

The best tool for time tracking. This app has a beautiful native design, is easy to use, is cost-effective, and is packed with features. The developer always keeps it updated too, to work with new Apple OS features and Toggl enhancements. I'd highly recommend you give it a shot; it's the best in the space.

5 stars 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 this is awesome. This is my go to app to make a timer for my jobs. I also have an subscription in addition to this to Toggl Track, which is great, especially if you want to add billable hours and everything but this is my go to app to start the timer because it’s just the easiest and most user-friendly and I love the interface is beautiful so I go back-and-forth between those but if I need to do a report or something more advanced, I go to Toggl Track which I have a separate subscription for and by the way this company is a third-party company to the other Toggl Track but it works seamlessly together and I highly recommend this Timery subscription because it’s awesome but if you’re using this for your business and you want to do reports and billable hours and then definitely subscribe to the Toggl Track in addition to this. So basically, this app syncs everything with Toggl Track. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars for Timery

Timery is the best way to use Toggl for time-tracking. Timery is far superior to Toggl’s own iOS app, which is buggy, poorly designed, and barely useful. I was using the API via Shortcuts in lieu of their app. Luckily now we have Timery! Beautiful design, indie developed, by someone who is trustworthy and cares about making a solid product. Timery strives to support all of the important Toggl features like clients and tasks whiting projects, and I think the developer plans to add reporting at some point, and at the same time, Timery also strives to support the latest modern features and design principles in iOS like Dark Mode, theme and icon variations, card interface, robust and ever-expanding Shortcuts support, and more. Whether you use the paid version of Toggl or the free level, this app is still awesome, and well worth the subscription!

Simply GREAT!. If you are using Toggl to track your time, this app is a must. It is so much better than the native app, and the developers are constantly at work to make Timery better and better. I only wish I could give this app 6 stars!

Inconsistent user interface. The app is decent, but I deducted one star because it requires a subscription for basic functionality, one star because recent changes to the user interface are inconsistent with standard iOS design practices, and one star because the developer completely ignored multiple support requests about the user interface after almost two weeks.

Crashes a lot. Useful app but it seems to crash a couple times a day on my M1 Macbook pro. Also I feel like the menu bar item could use some design/UI love with more icons or a better designed layout to make it more intuitive for setting timers. Having to go through a drop down menu in a drop down menu to select a timer is not ideal Also, the developer doesn't respond to emails.

Expectations set by the iOS failed to come to macOS. I am so dissapointed by this. I am a dedicated devout of the iOS app, I recommend it to everyone. The macOS app has a small blurry fonts in my screen. The interface is not oprimized much for macOS is clunky. The worst part to me is that when I loaded up timerly nothing copied over, including my save timers, no settings and no information as to why. After a while I assumed that this is because macOS and iOS would have they own set of timers, which seems reasonable. So I set up a custom set of timers for my mac... aand then two days later all the timers on my phone wiped to the few I set up on my mac.

Great start!. Finally! Timery for Mac! I have been waiting for this for so long... Toggl just can't build a Mac app to save itself. Timery's Mac app has a lot of the same great features of its iOS companion and is fast, efficient, and a breeze to work with. There are some things that I have noticed so far that I would like to see improved: 1) tabbing through the 'Edit Time Entry' only makes four stops. It would be great if it would continue past the description and into the time area. 2) tabbing through the time editing area (after manually clicking on the Start time, for example) only has one stop for the hours and minutes, so you must use the arrow keys on your keyboard to get to the minutes. It would be handy to have reminders to start a timer if you are in the middle of your workday and don't have a timer running. It would also be great to have a reports or chart to show daily and weekly summary by project, client, etc.

A Best-in-Class iOS App. Such a helpful and polished tool for people who want to monitor their time. Clear, intuitive, and fully featured. I’ve been using Timery for a while, and it has quickly become one of the apps against which I compare all other apps. Support for multiple text sizes is extremely thorough, and the app looks great at any size. I half think the Toggl folks are missing out by not buying Timery, and half pray that they don’t so that the maker of Timery can continue to follow their instincts — which seem to be awesome. Highly recommended!

Love this app!. This is my favorite way of keeping track of my Toggl timers. My only complaint is the latest version makes a context menu pop up when you click on a timer instead of just opening the timer. That just adds extra clicks to get to what I need in the app.

Good but missing key feature. The app is executed very well, but it's missing one critical feature for me, the Toggl calendar view. For scheduled meetings, the quickest way for me to record that time is to use the Toggl web app to copy the calendar event as a time entry, which is a single click and brings over the event title to the time entry. Unfortunately, I'll still have to rely on that instead of using Timery for that purpose.

By far the best time tracking app available. Timery is absolutely incredible. It’s light years ahead of every other time tracking app. In particular, and makes it incredibly easy to track your time with a minimum of clicks or taps. Seriously, it’s not even close. If you have a choice of what time tracking software to use, use this It’s an extremely elegant and well-designed UI, which is extremely easy to use from the start, but also extremely powerful so that as you get more and more familiar with the app there’s nothing you can’t do. The customization options are extensive, but the defaults work perfectly if you don’t want to mess with that. Similarly, it has absolutely top notch Shortcuts support, but the app works equally well for those who don’t know what shortcuts are. I don’t leave reviews very often, I just felt like this is one of the few apps that it would be really hard to improve upon, so I strongly recommend you give it a try.

Is it Timery or Toggle. I wanted to use an app on my Mac and on my phone. I joined the Timery club via my Mac. I got an email from Toggl thanking me for joing Toggl. I got the app on my phone and it tells me to sign in with my Toggl info. WhichI apparently ( according to developer) I need to sign in on Toggl and create the account. I think - The Timery app controls another app (Toggl) in a more streamlined way. I'd be fine with that if the sign in process made any sense what so ever. When I asked for clarifcation, the developer did not respond. Now I am just using Toggl and it's totally fine and I don't have to be double signed in - I actually never even go that far

App Has Greatly Improved. I’m updating my review because since the recent update, this app is working so much better now and the new UI changes are really nice. It still buffers a bit, but definitely not as much as before. Thanks for a great companion app to Toggl!

Love this app…but don’t count on any support or the watch app. Updating my review. I’ve loved using this app but have recently had a lot of trouble with the watch app complication being removed for unknown reasons. It’s the only app complication that goes missing. When I’m trying to not use my phone on-site at a job, the whole reason I bought my watch, I have to fiddle with my watch and re-add the complication. I sent an email to the dev. I follow him on Twitter, I see him talking about random things and about his app. He seems very responsive. Except to my support request, it has been ignored and not responded to. For the watch app to be the only one not working out of all my apps, it’s very frustrating. It’s worse when the dev doesn’t ignores things. So if you’re buying this for the watch, you might reconsider.

An essential tool for automated time tracking.. I use time tracking less as a work tool (I work regular hours on a more-or-less fixed schedule, so I know how much time I spend working) and more as a personal self-awareness check, logging things like time spent socializing and cleaning the house. Toggl was always kind of interesting, but it’s interface and integrations were always lackluster—until Timery. The biggest factor to how effectively I track my time is ease of use: if I have to spend multiple minutes starting a timer every time I want to track something it rapidly becomes a wasted effort. Timery is the solution for this problem: it’s saved timers and widget features enable near-instantaneous tracking, and with practically zero effort. It’s supposed to be getting an update soon for Shortcuts integrations (the developer is pretty open about the progress on Twitter) and I intend to spend a fair amount out time configuring that system, but even in its current state it is hands down the best app for time tracking I’ve found.

Great app, feature requests to make it even better. would love an apple watch app if you had notifications that are option to turn on that would remind us if there's been a timer running longer than X ammount of hours, that'd be great toggle is difficult to access in China, so would love if you created your own time tracking service, rather than just be a client.

UI needs polish. Almost great, but a few critical problems make it very high-friction compared to the standard Toggl UI: 1. the UI doesn't respond until network request completes, which takes task switching from 2s -> 4-12s 2. Core "stop one task and start another" (that isn't saved) UI is *way* more cumbersome—it requires multiple extra clicks a modal.

This will make me money!. .. or to put it a better way, stop me losing it by not billing for jobs. It is (was) too easy to say “I’ll write that job up later” and of course you know what happens. When you are self employed there are a thousand other things to do that always take precedence. Timery makes this function so easy and since it runs on almost anything, it is with me always. I have found the synchronisation with Toggl without fault and almost instantaneous. Throughly recommend this add on to Toggl for either a “timer” or “log on - log off” situation.

tasks disappeared from menu - eaverything is in a mess. Tasks dissapeared from the app without warning and now all the tracked hours are in a mess with no hope to guess what that was: "no task" - 32 hours "no task - 23 hours and so on The biggest waste of time and money

Best App for use with Toggl. I use this app every single day for time tracking tasks for projects. Integration with Toggl is perfect, easy to set-up and gives great overviews/reports. The widgets on iPad are a great way to easily start timers, and quickly see overviews also. 5 stars and will tell other people interested in using Toggl to use this.

Fantastic. Brilliant and well thought out app that solves all the issues with Toggle’s own app. Add watch supper and it will be essentially perfect

Toggl should just hire you, this is great. The Toggl iOS app is good, but it’s not thought out like this is. This one feels native, has strong Shortcuts integration, and has a really nice UI/UX. Hats off man.

Great on iOS, pretty good on Mac. Love this app on iOS and it's great to see a Mac companion. The Mac companion could do with a bit of polish though. It's annoying to have to enter times using a "wheel" UI on Mac — I'd prefer to type numbers in. And the menubar item disappears when you close the window. Either way, miles ahead of the official Toggl app and well worth paying for.

Great. The fact that you are using Parks & Rec references for the mock up screens is a YES to me already.

A Beautiful Workhorse. When I first had to start using toggl for work, Timery was the only thing I found that make the experience *pleasant*. Since then, it's become the backbone of my time tracking workflow, and it's reliable enough that I even use it to track personal/non-work time. Timery is a rare & special app: beautifully designed, deeply integrated into the apple platform. It's invisible most of the time, and a sensible workhorse whenever I need it. The Shortcuts integration is also wonderful (and rock solid!).

Not intuitive. I was hoping this would be intuitive to use based on the reviews, but I found it far worse than the original app - unfortunately this is just sitting unused on my phone.

Absolutely brilliant. This is the only way to use the Toggl service. This is the only way to use the Toggl service. Lots of updates, actively developed. Check out the Cortex podcast.

Love the concept, don't love to dependence on Toggl service. I've been following the hype on this for a while and finally jumped on and subscribed. I do love the attention to detail of being an excellent Mac/iOS first app, shortcut integration – all fantastic. Ultimately the dependence on Toggl service has led me to abandon less than a month in and go back to another time tracker I used before. The problems include: - slow to edit timers afterwards due to dependence on network syncing (If you happy to be offline good luck with this sometimes) - I use multi-line descriptions in my entry logs (why is this such a big ask?) Toggl has never added support for this and hence it doesn't appear possible in Timery. However my workaround has been to log the notes elsewhere in a quick note, then copy and paste. Or set up a custom Shortcut to log my notes and through about 3 screen prompts later I have multi-line bullet list log entry. - there's no options to check if the timer should still be running. I use more simpler time tracking apps that have done this for years! Even just pausing timer if your screen goes to sleep or after a preference set interval like 15/30 minutes: "Are you still working?" - No keyboard navigation or editing between fields, specifically times which I am always adjusting (forded to use mouse on number spinners) - no customisation for Set timer earlier/later: limited to just 1 or 5min and no keybooard shortcuts for this - Reporting: this is a big one for me. When it comes to end of month, you can't view the whole month in past, forced to log in to the Toggl website where: multi-line descriptions are compacted into a single line, there's no toggle to mark you've logged them. It's a shame as I love everything else about the execution of this app. Need to ditch Toggl and fix some of these big issues above and I'll be back.

Best front-end I've found for toggl. Fantistic set of apps, easy to use, works seamlessly across Mac, iPad, iPhone and watch. Can also drive this via shortcuts with heaps of built in actions available

Pleasure to use. This app ticks all the boxes, especially where you wish to track time in toggl using Shortcuts. The new reporting views are fantastic also.

Nearly perfect. This app is both simple to use, and great at what it does. A+. What I feel it DOES need though is an Apple Watch companion. A time app needs to be on the Watch. With that in the bag, this would be the perfect solution.

good but dev unresponsive. app is interesting, but dev doesn’t respond to emails/bug reports

Great alternative to the official app, but.... Disclaimer: Timery is great in terms of reporting and customization. Much more attention to details than in Toggl Track official app. And I love it. BUT. 1. It really feels like it was not built for Mac but ported from iPad. Some things in the UI feel clunky, also missing keyboard shortcuts. 2. It really needs the improvement in the UX of actual time tracker. Toggl did a great job in parsing @ or # as project and tag, respectively, for example. So to be able to quickly set what I'm doing I need much more effort in Timery than in Toggl. 3. Crashed a couple of times when I was using global hotkey from Raycast to show the app or when it failed to connect to Toggl API. Please, keep up the great work that you've done, and improve fluent timer editing experience. The app is definitely a great piece of software and worth subscription.

Just keeps getting better and better. Have used Timery since the start. It is the easiest way I’ve ever found to track time. I never managed before honestly, but Timery makes it easy to stop and start timers. And it keeps improving. There are now reports in Timery, so no need to look at Toggl. And there’s an Apple Watch app. I actually start and stop most of my timers from the watch. And the Watch even has reports now! Seriously recommend this app. The pro subscription upgrade is worth it to, and if you use Timery as part of a business it’s a deductible expense. Keep up the good work. Love that this app works across all apple devices: phone, watch, ipad, mac

Wonderful multi platform time tracking. Timery is a fantastically easy way to do time tracking, and it keeps getting better. I love that it supports every mac platform well: * Mac * Ipad * iphone * Apple watch * widgets * lockscreen widgets live view

More responsive interface than the official app. Previously Timery made the day to day using of Toggl better and more responsive on mobile. Now with the new reports system, simple Toggl reports such as the quick questions of how much time have I spent on something this week they are also easily found on mobile with the same responsiveness as the recording of the entries in the first place.

Cannot run multiple tasks. Can't run more than one tasks simultaneously

Login to set a timer? Nope.. I’m tired of apps asking for a login just to do simple things. Sorry folks but I don’t want to create an account to have a few timers.

J'aime bien. Me sers de toggle depuis 4 ans, me sers de Timery depuis 4 semaines. J'ai vite compris la plus value qu'apporte Timery, ne serait-ce qu'avec ses Minuteurs sauvegardés ("Saved timers"). Aussi, ai entendu parler de ce logiciel via la balado Mac Power Users (MPU). Chapeau!

Great for Students. I keep track of how much time I spend on each of my classes and it’s great for keeping me accountable for how much work I ACTUALLY do in any given day/week/month/year. (Hint: it’s always less than you think!) Thanks devs!

Great app, better UX than Toggl. I’m a daily user. I really enjoy this app. But I travel a lot and I’m often without a network connection, so I’d like to see better support for low or no network states

Love this app. Timery has completely changed my workflow and it has allowed me to much more accurately track and report on time I’ve spent on projects at work. It’s super easy to use and I can’t recommend it enough.

Great alternative. Puts the official app to shame. Reliable and simple. I'm excited to see where it goes next.

It keeps crashing. I will delet this review after it is fixed but this is infuriating: I cannot use the app at all because it keeps crashing! I don't understand this because it seems like no one else is experiencing this issue?

Absurdly useful tool. I can’t imagine using toggl without this app! I use it for personal productivity tracking, and it works great. Love the widget and the “start at last stop time” feature.

Love this app, best all platform time tracking app around. Dev is the best!. Tried a lot, try out other apps here and there, and always coming back to Timery for it's support on all the apple platforms.

Great for language learnings. I used the saved timers to track my reading, listening, show watching, etc.

Best time tracking app. This app controls Toggl and it's literally so good, simple, but versatile enough to meet my needs. I reccomend it to anyone and reccomend the subscription, so worth it.

Highly detailed and customizable time tracker. You can tell that the developer took a lot of thought and care when designing and building this app. It's excellent, and the widget support is *so* useful!

Best tool for a small design agency. Lets me track work hours, calls meetings, even hallway conversations all to billable hours that would otherwise be lost revenue. Know that it requires a TOGGL account, and there's a bit to learn, but it's great!

Widget is a Godsend. I had been using Shortcuts widgets to track my time using Toggl, but having everything in-house is much easier and keeps me much more motivated to keep accurate time tracking.

Timery, you’re amazing.. Took an app with an excellent concept (Toggl) and somehow thought of everything they missed. I use this app every day, and it never disappoints. First class app!

Makes Toggl Worth It!. As a freelancer, I am constantly checking on the hours I am spending (billable and not.) Timery's widgets bring the information and functionality beautifully to my sonoma desktop. Join the club!

A good start, hope to see more refinement. I am not a huge fan of the official Toggl Mac client, so was excited to give this a try. I've been using it exclusively for a month or so and am happy with my purchase. Pros: - Looks nice - Saved timers feature is cool - Stable Cons: - Feels like a Catalyst app. Can't fully navigate with keyboard. Moving in and out of windows with animations is tedious and needs to be streamlined - I miss the "nag when timer isn't running" feature of the official app

Stop time finally!. I loved this app anyways and have payed for it for a long time, but today they added stop time to running timers and that is literally the only thing that was missing. That's so essential to me that I don't leave reviews and I came here to leave one.

Amazing app. It’s changed how I plan and execute my day.. I use it primarily on my phone, and keep track of my professional, personal and family activities. Highly recommended.

Apple Watch. I wish you support Apple watch

Thank you, Joseph.. I'm so glad an app like this exists. It's tidy. It's just the right size. I'm very pleased for you, Joseph, and hope writing this provides you with a good life.

Fantastic. The subscription is definitely worth it, especially in this widgets world we live in. 10/10 would recommend

Will update after fixed. I have a automation that stops my timer when my focus mode turns off, but this doesn’t work as the live activity stays on the screen, so I never know if the timer is actually off or not

Keeps starting timers endlessly. It seems to keep starting timers over and over again. These entries were seen in the Toggl app as well. Attempting to restart my phone or delete the running entries in Timery or Toggl is useless as another random entry gets started. Sad because I had signed up for the annual free trial. The app seems useful in concept but is unusable for me due to the issues mentioned.

Graphs, analysis and export?. Very good for tracking time, but display and exporting of the data would make it worth the subscription price.

Seems Like a Great App. Seems like a great app, unfortunately can’t support a monthly subscription for an app that already requires a monthly subscription for the base service. Let us buy a feature set and charge us additional monthly for the premium stuff. As it stands now, it’s effectively useless unless you’re will to buy the subscription.

It doesn't work?. I don't understand all the glowing reviews. I put Timery in the menu bar on my Mac. It stops counting on its own, or keeps counting long after I've stopped a timer. It rarely reflects the state of Toggl. The app also has its own UI conventions, and while I think it's good to break from tradition when it makes sense, I'm not seeing the rationale for this app. Would love to see this app improved so I can give a better rating.

Works well for time tracking. Convienient and helpful for tracking my daily habits across all devices.

Great software. Everyone hates timesheets. Timery takes the pain out of time tracking.

A must-have!. Anyone serious about time tracking with Toggl should definitely consider using Timery. It makes using Toggl a complete simplicity!

Creative and reliable. I rely on TImery for tracking time at my day job. It is the best Toggl app (best time tracking app) I have used. The reporting featurs are really sweet. Very happy with it!

Misleading. You have to get a paid subscription to use most of the functionality described. Without a subscription, it basically acts just as a “favorites” list for your Toggl projects.

Makes My Work Possible. What was already a fantastic app on iOS became an excellent app on macOS. Couldn't reccomend it enough, definitely worth the subscription.

Why I love this app:. 1. Manage projects and view tracked time in an overview (by timespan) and summary (by project) 2. Save timers and start them from the menubar, hotkey, shortcut, or widget. 3. Adjustable time entries (for when you forget to start or stop a timer) 4. Syncs across my devices. 5. Build-in shortcut integration. 6. CUSTOM WIDGETS! This is a goldilocks app—I don't need to be super granular in tracking my time. The truly useful features are premium, but subscription price made this a no-brainer.

Such a blessing since official app broken. Addresses all of the issues with the official toggl track app: faster, doesn’t crash, easier to start commonly used timers, doesn’t look like I’m wearing pink-tinted glasses

Perfect app except no Apple Watch support. The Apple Watch at its core is a device for time so it boggles my mind when time tracking apps don’t have a simple Apple Watch app that allows the user to start and stop time tracking from the app

Broken-no upgrade. Wanted to like this but won’t connect or allow for upgrade purchase, just says oops won’t connect to App Store and even when you delete old project it won’t let you allow any more without the upgrade function that doesn’t work… wish this app worked

Great. Extremely great interface. Smooth and fast. Anyone who uses the Toggl app should use this app too.

We’ll done timer. Very good time tracker app for Toggl. However would like to see it work with Apple Watch. And have access to my saved timers. Thanks

Wonderful app. This makes time tracking a joy to do.

Great app especially for the price. I am so tired of mediocre apps being $10 every month and this app is only a dollar and better than probably 90% of every other app.

Phenomenal app. This is an amazingly designed app with subtle, well-thought out details that speaks to the ability of the developer. It is by far the best time tracking app out there, but it is just a great app in general.

So easy and fun to. …to use. Granular controls if you like but such a pleasure to track time. Smartly made, attractive. Flows. Intuitive.

Nice!. Nice...would be better with a Menu Bar UI. Having to launch the full app everytime the Widget is used is a bit of a pain. But, I much prefer this to Toggl's stupid web UI.

very well done app. only timer app i have found that has a widget for when my screen is locked it tells me what timers i have going. extremely important and no one else is doing this.

This takes tracking to the next level!. I love toggl as a service but their apps are really mediocre on the best day. This takes the experience of logging time on iOS to the point where i use my phone to update over the desktop app. The saved timers are a breeze! The ability to start at the end of the last is great when i accidentally stop logging The shortcuts & siri is amazing i would pay again for a macOS version too! Just saying!

So much better than the normal Toggl app. Toggl is a great service, but their app isn’t great. Timery fixes this. It could seriously do with a watch app, though. That’s the biggest thing it’s missing.

The Dream Toggl Client. This lives up to the hype. It’s reliable and useful, but most importantly, it’s thoughtful. It has considered the use cases for an app like this and made an interface that accommodates then exceptionally well.

Synching with other devices is frustrating. The app alone is great but trying to get entries to sync accross all devices can be frustrating. The process trying to fix is confusing giving interplay between Timmery app and Toggle website.

Basically perfect. Has everything you want in a time tracking app, executed flawlessly

Wonderful. This app is incredible with fantastic developer support.

Great start!!!. Off to a great start, congratulations on the launch!!! What I'd love more than any other new additions is a menu bar application; the Toggl app is accessible through the menu bar but I'd love to see proper support for it a la pcalc

Actually the best. I’ve looked at a lot of other time trackers. This is the best.

Timery for Toggl App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

This update has new duration format options, new widget background options, time entry suggestions improvements, and many other improvements & fixes. What’s new: • Hide seconds in the app & widgets • Project colors for widget backgrounds • Customizable Lock Screen Live Activity backgrounds • Improved legibility with project colors • Faster time entry suggestions • Details in Time Entries header charts • Quickly delete & restart time entries • New & updated Shortcuts actions • Many fixes • And more! Read on for more details! — New Duration Settings — Hide Seconds There are new duration format options to hide & show seconds in the app and widgets as well as on Apple Watch and in complications. When seconds are hidden, there’s an option to show active indicators in reports and widgets. Widget Formats Widgets can now also use Classic or Decimal duration formats. Mac Menu Bar There’s a new menu bar app option to hide the duration when no time entry is running. — Apps — Project Colors For increased legibility on certain backgrounds, dark project colors are a bit lighter in dark mode. Time Entry Suggestions When starting or editing a time entry in the edit view, time entry suggestions appear faster. Suggestions can now toggle between recent & saved timers and just saved timers, and they also better match project tasks. Time Entries Header Charts In Time Entries view, touch & hold or hover with a pointer on a day header to see a list of projects and times tracked. Current Time Entry Actions Quickly delete the current time entry & restart the latest entry and quickly undo restarting the latest entry with new actions in the current-time-entry view’s context menu as well as with keyboard shortcuts and in the Mac menu bar. Round When Starting There are new duration rounding options to round the current time entry’s duration down when starting a new time entry and to start the new entry automatically at that rounded stop time. — Widgets — Project Color Backgrounds Home Screen widgets have new “Appearance” configuration options to set the background to the current or filtered project color or gradient. Default Backgrounds Home Screen widgets now by default use a dark gray background color in dark mode to be consistent with system widgets and between iOS & macOS. If you prefer the black backgrounds, you can set them to be always black or black in dark mode. Rounding In widgets set to round the reported time tracked, by default they now hide seconds. There’s a new configuration option to still show them. Note: To see new options in existing widgets, you may need to delete and re-add them. — Live Activities — Lock Screen Backgrounds (iOS 17.1 or higher) There’s a new Live Activities option to set the Lock Screen background to match the system, always dark or black, project color, and more. — Shortcuts — Updated Actions The “Stop Current Time Entry”, “Check Current Time Entry”, and “Continue Latest Timer” actions now end, update, or start Live Activities. And they’re also App Shortcuts. Perform Action There’s a new Shortcuts action “Perform Action” that opens the app and performs a current-time-entry-related action. And it performs the action in the app if Timery is already open—like when run from the Action button on iPhone. — Mac — Menu Bar Timers There are new options for the menu bar app to show saved timers and recent timers in submenus or not. By default, saved timers are now shown inline instead of in a submenu. Dock Icon There’s a small collection of alternate icons to use in the Dock while Timery is running. Windows On Sonoma and Ventura, Timery will restore windows to their previous size and position when closed and reopened. ————— Thank you for using Timery and being part of the Timery Club. I really appreciate your support! Happy time tracking! – Joe
