Sorting. My goal when subscribing was to get specific Lexile level books but was unable to easily find books books within the level my child needed. Lexile score was only listed at the end of the book and was unable to sort books by level. I am disappointed it did not provide this because it would much easier than searching in the library.

Beware!. They are fine if you are purchasing the subscription manually. I had it on auto renew the yearly subscription and not it's saying I didnt pay for the account after they took the money. I tried getting ahold of the company and no one really helps! You get the biggest runaround. Then they sent me a link to create a new account, i have things saved in my account and shouldn't have this issue. Very disappointed.

Ummm....no 😒😡. I got this app cause it looked like something good to read on because I like to read. On the commercial it looked all good and free.......until I just logged on it. I know there are a lot of apps that make you pay or do a free month, but this is for kids! What if kids-like me- want to get this app and just read fee books! I’m not very pleased because all I wanted to do is read some books online, but NOPE!

Zero Offline Capabilities = Big-time Disappointment. You can’t even open a book and then take it on a car ride without the loss of pages. (You can’t finish reading the story.). This doesn’t really work for us. Otherwise, love the concept.

Great Resource!. This app is a great resource to get kids reading! So many titles to choose from. The missing component is questions after the reading. This helps to show they understood & is necessary to move reading levels in school. Could be an optional addition to class logins .

Awesome app!. I love how this app assesses my child’s reading level. It also gives her books on her level to practice her reading. I highly recommend this app!

Can't read the books 😔😔😔. Hello! I love reading I.Q, but there's one problem. Sometimes, when I tap a new book or a book I want to read again from the first page, this app won't let me go to the next page. But this glitch mostly happens when I want to read the book again. Please help! P.S: This only happens with some books & also, I love your app Adventure Academy! Keep up the good work! 👍

Read anything. ReadingIQ is probably the top reading app it is so cool but here is the thing you read a lot of books online that’s why I downloaded this app bye bye

Feedback. I love the array of books. However, to compare with A-Z books, the books that read themselves should be better if they were to have the option that you press the word and reads to you the word that you don’t know.

Good app bad customer service. So tried the app out, which is great love the variety of books, so they had a promote for 1yr subscription, which I purchased through the App Store. Next month when required to login, came to a screen to Purchase another subscription. I immediately contact Reading IQ with and email about this, which they haven’t responded to as yet. This is by far the worst customer service, feel like I have been ripped off.

Not for pre-readers. I did the free trial for my 4 year old daughter. I am a kindergarten teacher and have a thousand (literally) books I can read with her. I was looking for something that would read books to her when she needs to keep herself busy. Unfortunately, their “read to me” library is incredibly limited. I may look into it again when she is older, but I felt this was a big missing piece for a program whose advertising targets preschool children.

Love it I. I am a fifth grader this app helps me so so much I just want to say thanks so much I love that there is new books added and it’s a great experience for me these days in COVID. I feel like I am in a huge library 😊 there is also the leaderboard where we can see how many minutes everyone has read and I just adore this app Parents : My dad and my mom loved this

Its not free and i am ten years old so my dad Disabled the web so i could not read ONE story and i need to read because i just entered BOB battle of the books if your in hansen Elementary you will know everything about it and i need to read i have never been in a school competition and i want to do my best but i need a better app to do it so i will get a different app and wish me luck people im a girl byeeeeee

Will not work on iPad family sharing. I purchased the app with the hopes my son could use the reading app on his iPad and we could share between us to review the material together. I travel a lot and I am away from home would be nice to share between us as travel.

Fixing the issue. Hello, My son really loves the app but we can’t open some books because of the errors. After the last update the voice sound doesn’t work when you open the quiz. Can you please fix the bugs?

Very Glitchy. This is a great concept. However, when there are blank pages in stories and the “read to me” books aren’t even highlighting the words being spoken, it definitely misses the mark. I’ve already sent customer service a message.

Terrible customer service. I signed up for the app using iTunes. After my trial I paid for the one year subscription. After paying I received an email from ReadingIQ stating my account had been terminated for non-payment. I contacted ReadingIQ providing my receipt from iTunes requesting they correct this issue and make my account right, or issue a refund. They refused to do either one. (iTunes is issuing me a refund at this point) I’m shocked at their unwillingness to correct the issue even with proof of payment and the run around to try and get my money again! I will not attempt to use this app again and do not recommend it!

One of my fav's. My daughter loves it. She doesn't like to get off her iPad so this is perfect. We saw an ad on TV so we got it. I'm so proud of her talking about the books she read. And I already purchased it and it's worth it. It is better than any learning app. Suggestions: there should be quiz after reading a book. There should be ratings for each book. There could be videos related to the book. That's it! Have a great day! 👍🏻❤️

Great except for one thing. The choice of books, the text to speech and highlighting, plus the pause feature is great. I highly recommend this program for parents and those who work with children with reading delays. However, some of the adults reading the books use that very annoying, high pitched, child-like voice. Why on earth is that necessary? Also, I wish there would be a way to slow down the reading speed just a bit.

Reading IQ. It has been awesome to just sit down and read on this app. Like a little library at home. I love to read and most of these books are books I don't have but love. This is the best app ever!

Mediocre. I like it a lot it’s a great reading app for kids etc. But it does not have things like sonic etc. I would like them to add more video game characters in newer Updates.

Any subject matter fine!?!. Child cried for quite a while after mistakenly viewed a horrible scary book. Where are the filters?

Great concept, needs work. I want to love this app. I feel like the levels of reading are so inconsistent. I can find one book at his level that is way too hard for him and another that is too simple. The “read to me,” section is somehow the same books for every level. If they would add more read to me books, with appropriate levels, and make the books listed consistent for each category, it would be awesome. I would love to go to a higher level for him and have it read to him and then have him read it independently after.

Not all books are accessible. I started using this app again yesterday. It is going OK so far although they’ve removed the Disney story books. Please bring back favorite character story books, and my other suggestion would be to make every book in the reading IQ library have a read to me option. I feel like there are some books in the reading IQ library specially the longer books that should have read to me options because for those of us who are disabled like blind and autistic. Our options are very, very limited.

My Daughter loves this app!. I have trouble getting to the library so this is absolutely the best app for a kid who loves to read! Instead of watching videos on the way to/from school, she reads books on this app! Thanks so much! I definitely recommend this!

It’s pretty good. I love that it has a lot of books but I don’t like they’re small books. I’d like some bigger books! And I hate paying so that’s why I use it for one month then stop using it and make a new account. That’s the best option!! Read this review

Very needed App, great potential if they get it working. Half the books won’t open and instead freeze up the App. I’ve tried on multiple devices and multiple user accounts with the same frustration. The teacher login has errors too since invitations for students to join won’t go through. I’ve submitted a Customer Support request and am hopeful for a way to fix this. If so it has the potential to be better than the Epic App (which I refuse to support anymore).

Be careful. I got this app with the intention to get a yearly subscription since it sounded really promising. I signed up for the free trial and never got it to work. On either Mac or iPad (both run the newest software) I get stuck on a blank screen, created several profiles with the same child and there’s no way to advance or even get so see a book. I reached out to customer support the same day with all information and screenshots provided. A response came 2 days later asking me for the same information I had already provided. Now since 4 days nothing and I can’t access the parents section to cancel this non existing trial or remove my credit card on file. Tried uninstalling the app several times, tried different devices and browsers. Very disappointing!

Would like books back. I had it for a while then I couldn’t use it for a long time and when I was finally able to use it they took off some books that I would like to read. So please put them back on. Otherwise it’s the best out of all!!! Thank you for being so great!!!

Add more comics. You should add a feature we’re you can add books on here because I would love to do that also if you could add more comics that would be splendid

So many broken links. This app is great, but only if there weren’t so many broken links. What’s even upsetting is that there is no way back to the page you were in, so you have to restart the app every time you get a broken link.

Why I love Reading IQ. I love it because I get to change my icon and read a lot a books also the more books I read the more prouder I get

Fun. So fun to do and track which books we’ve read and how long we’ve read together.

Don’t Buy. I signed up last night for the free one month and had every intention to pay the monthly subscription but this morning after a few attempt on my phone and iPad this will not be the case. To start every time I opened the app it would take me to creating a new profile even though I had three set up already for my daughters. When I would click the back button to see if I could go back the screen goes blank until I close out the app completely. I repeated that step a few times like I said above. I even tried to creat another child profile just so I could see if it would let me go to the main screen so I can cancel the subscription and now it’s telling me we can’t add that child right now. I’ve emailed support but we’ll see since I just read the other reviews saying customer support isn’t great. I should have done this through iTunes at least stopping subscriptions through there is easy. DO NOT BUY.

I don’t get it. Hi. I just downloaded this app with high hopes but not happy so far. A few things I don’t like. 1) I created 3 user profiles for my 3 kids, ages 9, 6, and 4. From what I can tell, they are able to switch users themselves? So my 4 year old could pop on to my 9 year olds library? That’s weird to me. 2) what’s up with the “Read 20 mins a day” logo on top of the My Shelf page. That’s so silly. My kids read much more than that, which is why I was looking into this app in the first place (for additional content for them to read) 3) The app kept freezing up as I was trying to set up an account, kept getting the rainbow circle around and around and around... In conclusion, I’m going to let my 9 year old play around with it for a few weeks to explore the content but I’m not going to let my 6 and 4 year olds have it until I know that they cannot switch users.

Reading IQ. Reading IQ is amazing because I can read on what level I am on. The cool thing is there is so many books to read for your level and more!

Great I love it. Amazing but a few more adjustments. I just got the app and it’s already amazing there’s tons of books to read but I’m interested in a series called wings of fire if you could add it to the app I’ve been reading it and it’s a really good series for ages to 9-15 your app is amazing there’s no glitches no bugs it’s amazing

Levels. I enjoy using this website for my child's education. But when I put in class or reading levels I get books that are not relevant to my input. I would like to see more books that are in the level I have stated. Getting books that are below what I have applied is not helping my child advance.

Over charged, no app access!!!. I was charged after attempting to create a log in and use a 30 day trial. The website didn't even allow me access to create an account. I was charged for a year subscription- TWICE!! I am waiting for customer service to contact me and issue a refund!! I’m so frustrated at this point I’m not interested in actually getting the app to work!

Awesome. Yes I payed like 30 so dollers to have this for a month but hands down best app ever and this is coming from a person who dosnt really like to read and I’ve been trying to find a good reading app and opp I found one! BEST BOOK APP EVER!

Fix bugs!. I love the app. For homework, my daughter has to read a book every night, and written In her hw log. This app definitely came in handy because it has so many books to choose from. However the app keeps freezing and closing out after every 10 min. Very annoying. Please fix!

Great App ...beware it is nearly impossible to cancel subscription. Daughter loved the app but has now outgrown it. Tried to cancel as per their “easy to cancel anytime through parent account” claim... Cannot even access parent account...emailed customer support and have not heard back...buyer beware you may be paying for this app well after you need it . I feel like I’ve been scammed.

Can’t recognize my email. I subscribed last year and paid via ITunes. The books selection are great my kids love it. But sometimes, for some reasons, it required me to sign up again and my email address wasn’t recognized anymore. So, I have to cancel my subscription. My iTunes email address is different from the email address that I used for Rainbow IQ. Now, I tried to resubscribe using the recognized email address but it required me to pay. However, I already have a cancelled subscription from my ITunes which is still valid until this September. The question, how can link my recognized email address from Rainbow to Itunes email address?

Better than kindle!. I have to pay to download books but with reading iq you didn’t need to pay.

My point of view. My teacher introduced this wonderful app to me in the beginning all it asks you to do is a little test to see your level and I rate this for all ages 👍🏾

Disappointed teacher. I have not even used the ap yet, but I’m disappointed with the way it was presented. I am a kindergarten teacher and only signed up for website because it Is “free” for teachers. When I created my account it automatically took me to the screen that directed me to download the ap. I downloaded the ap only to find out that there is a 7.99 per month fee. I don’t know if that’s just for the ap or the entire website. I’m very disappointed in this bait and switch type of sales.

Took away favourite titles. I got this app because my son liked the marvel and Disney books but now they are no longer available but I’ve won’t the money. Very disappointing.

Not great. There is not a lot of books to choose from. And not many books for older children. The little kids books are very boring and not very educational. There is a better app called epic. It has 40000+ books to read and new books come out every week. Anonymous

Don’t buy!. It’s SOOOO slow to start up and keeps pausing and taking ages to load books. (Our internet is extremely fast so it’s not that) Very frustrating and I actually really want a refund!

On screen reading and paying. This has the best books ever! You should get this app if you don’t have it already Reading books (not books app) = 5 IQ. ReadingIQ = 9999999 IQ The only thing I don’t like is that you have to either pay every month or year and you’re forced to. So a 4 star for this Hope you enjoy this!😊😊😊

Home won’t display books. I really liked the app at first but we consistently get “Oops! An error occurred.” and the Home Screen won’t display any books. Very frustrating and no longer worth the money.

Doesn’t work well on iPhoneXS. The read to me/i can read it/read with pause buttons don’t show up for books tbat have the sound symbol on them. This is on an iPhone XS. It works on an iPhone 7. EDIT: Resolved by reinstalling the app. Customer support was very responsive.

Would not open. App would not open, would only show a white screen. I deleted the app and then re-downloaded it. Same thing happened, ended up deleting the app :( also canceled my subscription, free trial, and ended up getting charged. Now I have to go through Apple to see if they will refund my money

Canceled but still getting charged. I’ve canceled the subscription multiple times in multiple ways but still keep getting charged. I’ve emailed the developer and they haven’t successfully canceled the subscription yet. Terrible support.

Slow running. Honestly at this point in time I done more with getting it to run and being able to function. It will freeze and not read to you often. Book selection is very limited

Crashing. Not sure what happened? The app is great but when overloaded it crashes takes awhile to log back in.

Great for busy moms. Great way to do nightly log reading for homework. It has helped me in a pinch already. Fun colorful books too. My kids love it.

Cancel membership after 24 hrs of purchasing. Bought it and some choices don’t work at all with no sound. Having a hard time canceling the membership from my iPhone 10

Good but they keep charging you after you cancel subscription. I canceled this subscription because my son no longer uses it and I keep getting charged the monthly fee.

Very frustrated so far. Not easy to start using. Just confirmed payment for the year long package and every time I log in (tried on three different devices), it just brings me back to the subscription page. WTH?! Daughter has moved on to another app and I will be sure to cancel as soon as I hear back from customer service.

I got to the first place. I love it because it gets me to the first place and I will keep going and going to read this app.

Bad app. I renewed my daughter’s account but it doesn’t work on her iPad. I tried to manage my account on my phone and the page never loads. I contacted customer support but they couldn’t help me with the problem or even give me a refund.

Cannot Log in. I have tried to buy this app twice now. Each time I was charged as wasn’t able to log in. I have contacted support with no response. I had to go through apple and am now awaiting a refund. What a headache.

Do not buy. This app looks good until you see the payment some people do not have enough money to afford this app and I think it is unfair to kids who need A.R points(which is a thing most schools do) and is very much like other apps which need payment...also it is terrible quality.
