It works well enough. I got a bulb from this company my expectations were not very high when buying this product since it was a fairly good price, when setting it up with the app I was confused at first since I could not get it to work when I thought I was doing everything correctly, Eventually it worked and to my surprise I was pretty satisfied with what I got and convinced my self to go back and buy a couple more, one thing that I wish they had made better is the brightness of the colors since some colors are brighter then others, over all it’s a great little accent around my house 3 stars for sure.

Ok. Set up took a while because my phone wanted to use the 5G network. Finally got them to work. I like the strip light ok. The colors aren’t nearly as bright as the whites which is frustrating. I don’t care for the bulbs at all. You can only do super bright white or very soft colors, so they are too dim for overhead and you would need at least 3 to light up a small room. I am a lover of soft lighting, but this is a bit too soft for me. Please make the colors brighter. The bulb also flickers between certain colors. They also seem to run really hot for led, which surprised me. I’ll probably return the bulbs. I do like the mood scenes with the strip light. Maybe I’ll get used to the low light of the bulbs. Overall, only mildly satisfied. Developers: Please work on the warm tones. Everything is very cool toned in general. It seems to go through a green tone between orange and yellow, and your red isn’t warm enough. Think of tomatoes and brick reds.

Well I Should Have Read The Reviews... I first stumbled upon the Globe LED Smart Table Lamps when looking at Philips Hue Lamps and thinking why buy that why I can buy two for the same price... brand integrity is why. Ultimately I’ve experienced the same issues with these lights as many of the reviewers, it’s been 3 hours since we’ve been connected and almost 2 hours have been spent just trying to see when the lights are not “Offline”. I can assure you my network connectivity is not an issue. A great idea, with quality finishes on the lights themselves really, just comes down to poor execution. All in all, I’m planning on returning the lights. I would recommend jumping for the Philips Hue Lamps, as this process was unfortunate from download to setup to unplug. Not quite sure how you fix the network recognition on the actual lights ‘status’ wise and interface on the app (as google home was better for these once set up) that’s my feedback for r&d. Consumers aren’t supposed to wait for the product to get better, they’re just supposed to get a better product.

Waste of money. I bought 3 smart bulbs (color +) two days ago, and at first they worked well. I haven’t even used them much, and today, I noticed that one of the bulbs is not working well. It won’t set to the green color l, and when I select yellow, it shows purple. I sent an email to customer service, and I haven’t heard back from them yet. Return this item while you can or don’t even buy it, because there are high chances that they will disappoint you sooner or later.

Almost perfect. I mainly use this as part of my morning routine. The schedule I’ve set has the light turn on an hour before my alarm at its lowest brightness and most warm color. Over the hour it increases in brightness and moves closer to white light every 5 min. This bulb/app would be perfect if it had a sunrise feature that essentially did the same thing I’ve programmed it to do but with a smoother translation from darkness to full brightness.

on/off will stall A LOT. I’ve had this bulb for a few months now and I do like it, but it’s very frustrating when the on and off button on the app doesn’t work, basically implying there is bad connection or they aren’t connected to the same wifi, but they are and my connection is not bad, would love if it didn’t take 5-10 minutes for it to work, been trying for 10 minutes now and i don’t feel like getting up to manually turn my lamp off, kind of the whole reason i bought the bulb

The old one was better. I don’t like the new update to this app. Not only was the older version better, it was also safer. This version took too long to load on first start when I was turning on my lights which renders a safety issue in the event of an emergency. I also like the slider way better to adjust the mood settings also known as color temperature settings. The slider like the brightness settings was the best. Bring the old style back and you get your five stars back until then, I remain unhappy with this version.

Lack of options disappointing. The options in the app to control LED string lights show through the app’s glitches that there is a pitiful lack of ways to use the lights on comparison to what they can actually do. You can’t have the brightest color setting possible for the pre saved cycles and the sleep timer is clunky, hard to use, and broken. Terrible interface for a decent product, making it almost worse than if the quality matched

Both app and device broken. I bought a package of 4 door sensors, the app fails to find it. Couple of notes: 1. My wifi supports both 5ghz and 2.4 2. The EZ mode fails waiting to finish 100% and then it takes me to the useless wizard, have you followed the wizard gourself? Seems like the steps are messed up. 3. The AP mode, my phone sees the smartlife ssid but fails to connect to it, not sure if this is an ios issue, i tried with different ios 12 and 13 on different devices. 4. I tried with multiple sensors and same issue, wasted like 2 hours 5. In AP mode asks you to connect to sensor wifi, when I switch to ios setting and connect back the app switches to EZ mode 6. Your app smart support>report an issue is broken how am I gonna report this issue to you? 7. The video instructions just says follow AP mode wizard, what is the reason for the video then? 8.I am returning the device because of this, not sure if I can trust my home security with something that has not been tested before GA. Thanks

Nice and simple. I use the wifi camera. No subscription to record video as long as you have an SD card. I used to used other cameras but they all started going to a subscription model. I’m not doing that! Glad I found globe!! I haven’t tried the bulbs

Amazing!. Honestly I got mine at the goodwill for $7 and granted it took me a couple hours to get it connected to my phone and the wifi (pretty sure connection issue was on my side.. not the bulb) overall great product never no issues.

Works good, needs some improvement.. Overall the app works good. One major problem is that any “triggers” or “scenes” you create are stored on a cloud somewhere and is often slow loading or unavailable when the internet is down. Secondly there’s no way to save color settings to a trigger directly from the light’s settings screen. The scenes/trigger side of the app is a completely separate build. It’s harder to find a color when setting a trigger because the color wheel is replaced with a slide bar. Why not use color wheel throughout the app? The two sides of the app need to be merged so that you can go to the light, find the color you like, and then save it as a trigger.

Pretty great bulbs, when they work!. I’ve had constant issues with these bulbs suddenly losing connection to the wifi and it always takes an hour or more just trying to get them back online. Usually takes me deleting the device and then adding it back; however, that never works out as the bulb always stops pairing long before the app completes its setup cycle. It is so frustrating and I just want to know why this keeps happening! If the developers could fix this bug, I’ll update my review. For the time being, buy a more expensive but higher rated bulb!

The led strips won’t work. So I just got the led light strips today and they won’t work I am not asking for help I am just asking for you too please make your products a little easier to operate. And make the app a little easier to operate too. When I installed the light strips tonight they would connect then a couple seconds later they would in connect. And a little tip don’t make apps to control these types of things we have remote controls for a reason. So thanks for they time reading my rage comment. (By the way I am a sad freshman in high school who got these lights. My mom was also mad that she spent $30 on something that does not work).

Super convenient. We Always left the living room light on because we forgot to turn it off. Now we can go upstairs or even leave the house and still cut the light off. And the button on the side makes it easy to cut it on if your close by.

Waste of money and time.... We have several different smart lights in our house (Nanoleaf/Feit) and have easily been able to connect to the devices. This device however we were unable to connect to. We went through the steps several times and it was unable to find the light bulb. When looking into what could be wrong it mentioned internet and we were unable to figure out which internet size we had. It really shouldn’t be this difficult to connect and we shouldn’t have to go looking into what size our internet is. The people who made this program need to have a more advanced system.

Disappointed with new version. I use this to turn on our hot water recycler for taking a shower in the morning. I don’t take showers at the exact same time every morning. The timer changed on this version of the app. I have a iPhone 11 and I have to push the timer start several times to get it to work. Now if I use the timer if I put 7 minutes that is when it will start so now I have to remember to turn it off. Before it would start immediately and then turn off in 7 minutes which was perfect for my needs. Wish I didn’t upgrade to this version.

Works for our house. 😃. These lights work great and are a great price. You can have different colors, times of day on and off, set to change with sunset and or sunrise (Location service needs to be on) works with Google home app and other brands of remote wifi plug controllers. I now have 6 bulbs. You also can control these lights using the app while away from home.

Disappointing. App used to work fine but gave up on me months ago. I’ve sent numerous emails over the course of a few months with zero responses. Now I have expensive lightbulbs that don’t even work because they’re just flashing all the time. Huge disappointment, even bought new bulbs just in case and they still won’t work. Such a let down. Would not recommend, will be looking to get a refund on my useless $20 lightbulbs. Thank you for nothing Globe Suite. Edit: One year of constant emailing later and I still have yet to receive a reply. This is embarrassing. Awful product.

ULTIMATE TEASE. Buy the smart bulb and download the app if your into being teased. I was so turned on by the first bulb I bought I decided to buy 2 more. I had 2 connected to the app and working perfectly within a week. Then the app started saying the bulbs where offline. I did everything after that to make it work. Tech support even told me to reset and clear the cache. I did as the instructed and now they won’t connect. So far I feel like I’ve wasted money and time like a bad date that started out great then you get turned off after spending more time and money on it.

a few changes to the ui need to be made. Its a great simple app. But it would be nice to be able to manually control bulbs together in unison. Also when setting scenes brightness and color should be in different option fields and be labeled with percentage and kelvin it is quite annoying to have to guess their positions.

Was working great. Then yesterday it completely stopped working. I tried everything I could possibly think of to reset the system with no success. I was finally able to get it working again on my mobile hot spot but it will no longer connect to my home wireless, even though it was before so I have no idea how that’s useful. Do I just have to leave my mobile hotspot on all the time now?

Lights Just Randomly Turn On. Got 4 Edison Smart Bulbs. Got them set up fine. Also linked with Alexa fine. However, bulbs randomly turn themselves on. I have deleted all schedules and can’t find a reason why they would just randomly do so. I can turn them off via Globe app or via Alexa voice command - but some will randomly turn back on within 5 minutes of turning them off. Not sure what to do - but hoping tech support can help. It is located within 15 feet of WiFi. It doesn;t appear to disconnect - but i am not monitoring that closely....

will not connect. i bought this for my desk light in my dorm. it says it needs a 2.4 GHz wifi network, which i guess my campus doesn’t have, therefore my bulb and phone won’t pair. AP mode does not work either. the box says that once you connect your bulb, you can use your phone’s data plan to control the lights from anywhere. i wish i was able to pair my phone and bulb using data in the first place! i’m not gonna drag my light to a starbucks or another campus so i can try to pair with their wifi instead. all i wanted was to be able to change the color of my dorm with my desk light. this bulb and app were a waste of my money.

WE NEED HomeKit Support. I purchased one of your color bulbs to compare it to both the Lifx & Hue bulbs I have at home & I can’t lie it actually does go toe to toe with them. Colors a little off but can only tell when next to them. I would appreciate it HomeKit support your app is lacking & it would be nice to pair it with the rest of my lights instead of having it sit on a separate app. If HomeKit was thing I think I would stick to this brand cheaper bulbs but all the same features it’s a win.

Is this McDonald’s?. I’m Loven it! Love being able to use this app to turn on and off the lights from my bed,at work 30mins away, even 80miles !! That’s the farthest I’ve tried it but I’m sure it could go farther. Lame as it is, I’m lazy and don’t want to get up to turn off lights in the traditional way. I love this app to turns the lights off I can even turn off the tv from another room and play tricks on people lol I love it!!

Great bulb and software. I see so many people writing negative reviews about having issues with the product. Maybe I was lucky but I opened the app and it connected immediately to the bulb and I have had zero issues with controlling it since then which was 5 months ago now. It had such amazing colors, you can blend and mix colors, you can dim and brighten. I find that certain colors can relax me and help my mood. It’s just a great light for the price

Waited so much of my time. So I brought 9 of theses and I even wasted my time painting them black to install them on my house For down lighting. I sync the lights one at a time b4 install and worked. I climbed up a ladder 2 stories high and when I hit power they all day off line but one light. I wasn’t going to go back up to each and one of them again so I hit the light switch 3 times to put them in pairing mode I tryed every day for 2 hours a day and won’t work! Always fails. It’s not the a WiFi issue because I have four bars in front of my house . It’s not a 2.4 gig problem bc that’s what I have too. Please help me get all 9 lights to sink at the same time !!! I will not go back up there again as of now there working as ultra super white lights

Randomly turns Off and On. I bought several of the plugs to turn on and off lights in my bird room. The plugs, however randomly turn off and on such that in the middle of the night the lights come on waking the sleeping birds. These electrical plugs are useless. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! ***Update*** These are the WORST electrical devices built!! They never stay on for any significant amount of time. You can’t rely on them at all! The manufacturer should take all their resources to correct the deficiencies quickly or customers will abandon them on mass. They should also reply as to what their strategy is to address these issues. If you are thinking of purchasing, rethink that until these are fixed!

Convenient.. I liken having the light get warmer, redder, and dimmer as the evening progresses to help me sleep better. Then the lights come on with bright and blue hued light to help me wake up and get the day started. All of this is easy to automate. I will definitely be getting more lights for the rest of my house.

Terrible recent update…. As another reviewer mentioned, there was a recent update that removed the ability to chose the color saturation of each lightbulb. One of my bulb’s hues changed colors on its own so I went into the app to fix it. Now, I am unable to change the hue and, after trying to adjust the brightness, my bulbs are stuck at 1%. I was thrilled with these bulbs; however, until an app update with bug fixes is pushed out, I will be replacing these bulbs.

Almost everything works great, only a few recommendations. Just want to preface this by saying that there are basically no problems with the app. Everything connects relatively well and it’s very smooth and fluid. That said, there are a few nitpicky things I would prefer, those primarily being portrait mode compatibility for iPad Pro, and direct Apple HomeKit integration (though it does work alright with Siri). Other than that, I can’t say I have any qualms at all with this app.

Great Products!!. My wife got these for me almost two years ago Father’s Day. We have several throughout the house and I absolutely love them! Ladies, if you’re man is into vibe, setting the mood in the man cave or living room or wherever. Grab these for him.

Can no longer change brightness. The control button which was added in some update does not work and now you can no longer lower the brightness unless it is set up in a routine. Basically makes the bulbs useless unless you want them super bright (you can still change the color fortunately though) or have them on/off on a fixed schedule. It used to be pretty good before. Disappointing.

Amazing. Found this bulb on sale for cheap, I thought it would be cool to try so I bought it. About 5 months later and I can’t even imagine having a standard bulb in my lamp. This bulb and app are so easy to use and there really are hundreds of customizable lights, tones, colors, and speeds you can choose. Love it and totally recommend.

Horrible app!. So I bought a Globe Smart Ambient Light for my basement. The light comes with almost no instructions, so I downloaded the app, and tried to install the light. However, it doesn’t appear in their app, and when you try the scan for new devices, it tries for 2 minutes and fails. Since it’s not in the app, you can’t manually add the device, so it’s relatively worthless. The only good thing is the light is motion sensing, so it does turn on/off in its own, but you can’t use the app to customize anything nor can you add it to Alexa or Siri. First Globe purchase and a bad experience. I won’t be buying any more Globe products in the future. There are so many out there that work flawlessly. Don’t waste your time!

Please lower the price.. I’ve got 16 of these lights and I need more! I couldn’t be happier with how well these lights function. I love that there’s a companion app, as well. I have the normal version and the colored version and they both replicate the same color hues so color matching an entire house is simple. Most third party makers don’t always include everything you need to ensure things work, but Globe Suite does. Five stars across the board! Please have a sale or something because I need 16 more, but I can’t afford to buy that many at full price.

The worst smart bulb ever!. The bulb kept disconnecting from the app and I have to keep connecting it. After I connect it, I can only control the app using easy access which can only turn the light on and off; change the brightness and color temp, no color changing or schedule on or off, totally useless. I can’t use the full function because every time I try to access the bulb, it says “the current version does not support the app, please update the app”, but I am already on the latest version!

Pretty good. This most recent update made the interface much smoother and more user friendly. It had some issues before, but the software engineers behind this did a great job fixing it. It works pretty consistently, and i don’t really have any complaints. I really like how the update allowed me to to set the brightness of the bulb along with a time in the schedule window. It allows me to set a time for me to wake up at full brightness, it turns its self off after 45 minutes to make sure i don’t sleep in. And then it turns its self on again in the evening when i’m in my room again at a warm, and relaxed hue for chillin. It’s really well done for a free app! Good stuff.

Bulb quality sub par App follows suit. I got these bulbs for free when I purchased a Google home hub. If they weren’t free i would be really mad. One bulb out of nowhere sparked and almost started a fire out of nowhere in my apartment and it a compatible non dimmer bulb socket. It was lucky i was home or it might have burned my entire house down. It was really scary. The app is bulky not intuitive at all and it makes setting up any product a real pain. I am very tech savvy and generally can set stuff up in my home within minutes and without any manual this took me days only to have on bulb totally peter out on me. For a similar price you may as well get th Philips Hue because that app is also more intuitive than this as well. I I’m a tech dork telling you that this leaves much to be desired and i am less than impressed

Works ok, un-intuitive app. I got the bulbs connected with a little fiddling, but it is kind of hard to understand the app. Grouping devices is several taps away from where it should be. Why on earth can you not pick which mood when setting up smart scenes!? So for example you cannot set up a Halloween scene which changes to orange hues, then have a separate Christmas scene with red and green. There’s just no way to accomplish that automatically. If you change the mood it changes for all scenes and you’ll have to remember to change it later.

Help. I’ve been trying to set up my strip lights for days now and I can’t get it to work at all. My wifi is 5GHz not the kind they like but there’s a way to set up with this but it doesn’t work. The instructions tell you what to do but when you go on the app to do it they look nothing alike. The online instructions to. I wish I knew what I’m doing wron but I don’t. Contacting support was useless because all that did was tell me to reconnect to a device name I never heard of and when it said to find smartlife-xxx in wifi it never shown up but it’s supposed to bc that’s my device. Please help

Impossible to use! If I can give 0 stars I would... I got the led bulb that it’s supposed to let me change it with my phone with the app, I cannot connect my bulb for some reason, I’m not sure if my wifi is “2.4GHz” and maybe that is the problem. I’ve tried a over head light and a lamp light and I cannot get either to work. I am very frustrated because you should make your products easy to use and set up I’ve been working on it for over an hour watching all the unhelpful videos that get me no where. Big of waste time and money!

New App Version. Overall have had no issues with the bulbs or connecting them to my network. The new app version though does not show the schedules I setup with the previous version. Bulbs turn On based on that schedule, but I cannot see, modify or delete. The only thing I can do is Add a New Schedule.

Worked good at first. I had my glove light for three years and setting it up was a charm and then I was away for six months because we had a fire and wasn’t allowed to return to the building and when I did come back had to get a new router and now when I try to set up the globe light why not set up either the EZ method or the AP method would work I keep getting a freaking error message that says something went wrong I did everything the instructions said to do by the letter and still I get that stupid error message. contacted tech-support and they just ignored my message no help there.

Great product. I received my smart light bulb 3 pack yesterday and I already set them up. Unlike other reviews I read, the app was very fast and the lights were blinking like they were supposed to immediately and easily. Setup to my WiFi was easy and fast, and I linked it with Siri and my google home mini. Colors are bright and great and I have automated scenes that work. Also the app feels really well made. Great product for a cheap price if you can get ones that work.❤️

Just terrible. Some days the bulbs work just fine. Most days the app says they’re “offline”, and will only work when the phone is physically touching them. Currently however I’m literally holding my phone up to one of my bulbs while trying to turn it off, but it just won’t even though the app tells me that the bulb is “online”. The bulb across the room however is turning on and off with no problem whatsoever, and the bulb halfway across the room is always “offline” unless I hold my phone an inch or so away from it. All of the bulbs are reasonably close to the wifi router and shouldn’t have issues connecting, but for some reason ever since I bought these lights a year ago they have almost always behaved this way. It’s really very frustrating, and I regret wasting money on this “smart” bulb system, because any amount of money spent on these wouldn’t be worth it since they never function properly.

Works very well with minor issue linking to Alexa. I bought the dual outdoor plug. The hardware says ALEXA compatible. This app keeps giving me an error saying that the app is not up to date when linking to my echo. It’s been well over a month and no app updates have come out. Fix this issue and rating will increase. The app standalone for the lights works very well. Love the dual plug single device with independent controls. *edited and updated star rating* To enable in Alexa you have to enable the global suite skill first, then this takes you to the correct link to login with your global suite info. Then this is properly enabled. What you name the group and or devices directly transfers to Alexa. However Alexa can’t control the whole group device (2 independent controllable outlets on 1 device). You have to create a group in Alex app and works perfect.

WOW. I’ve had these lights for over two years now, and always struggled with the interface as I would have to reset the whole app and all of my settings any time I switched wifi networks, or literally any other minor inconvenience, like my phone uninstalling the app automatically if I hadn’t used it in awhile, but the new update fixed all those problems, I love the interface, and it even went the extra nine yards to restore all my old presets. To the globe suite devs, you guys are great, and I love whatever it is that you guys are doing, keep it up!

App is terrible compared to app it’s based upon. Look up “Globe Suite won’t connect to bulb” and you will find TONS of complaints about people unable to simply connect to their bulbs, especially the 3-pack sold from Costco. After a *LOT* is combing the Internet, it seems that if you have a slightly older set, the firmware needs updating. But the Globe Suite can’t actually connect to the bulbs to update the firmware! The fix? Globe bulbs are actually rebranded Tuya bulbs. Go download *THEIR* app (search for Tuya, orange logo), and that app does an excellent job of using both Bluetooth and WiFi to connect to the bulb just enough to allow for firmware updates. After that, yes, you can go back to Globe Suite, but I’m not sure why you’d want to, since the Tuya app has WAY more functionality enabled for the same hardware. Seriously Globe, I was about to throw out $100 worth of bulbs as broken garbage, but now they are all fixed, updated, and working as expected thanks to Tuya.

They do not connect. We purchased some bulbs they would not connect after each trying and watching the videos and instructions. Poor quality product

Not Working. currently own an iphone 8 and the app doesnt work🤷‍♀️ ive tried reinstalling, restarting my phone and everything🤷‍♀️ it still wont work send help pls

Where is the vacation routine setting ?. Can’t find the vacation routine setting? And the online chat is a joke !

Don’t bother with these. The bulbs do not pair easily. The programming and grouping won’t work when you do eventually get it sorted and the bulbs won’t update. Waste of money.

Needs Refreshing. The app works fine for manually turning a plug ON but every time you want to manually turn a plug OFF you need to manually refresh the app (pulling screen down) or else the plug turns itself back ON all by itself. I’ve heard many other users complaining about the same thing.

Poor instructions-MUST install on 2.4G. Finally figured out that you MUST install on 2.4G. Will not install on 5G. Better instructions would reduce almost all complaints on this app.

What happening. It worked perfectly fine for 1 and Hal year I bought a switch and Somme outside and inside outlet for Christmas decorations since 1-2 week the switch and outlet keep open or don’t turn off the Christmas light or my outside light And now the switch broke , I check the connection and it all good

Useless. I have the plugs and they don’t work at all. The timer is not at all accurate on it. I have them set on to come out on at night and they come on in the morning instead even though it’s set to p.m. And it doesn’t even come on at the right timewise meaning 9:00 AM instead of 9:00 PM also when I go into the app to turn on the lights I always have to go into the app and it doesn’t respond. I have to close out the app and go back into it again and wait. Terrible app and terrible product.

Update has failed us. We have a lot of Globe Smart plugs. They weren’t perfect (sometimes rare random disconnect) but they were good for the price and worked. ***Unfortunately there was a recent update somewhere and as you can see from the bad reviews the hardware doesn’t work anymore over the app. Bluetooth occasionally works in close proximity only.

Can’t Get the Bulbs to Work. I can’t get the bulbs I bought to work. I have confirmed all “advice” the app gives me when things go wrong and they all seem correct. I have called the internet provider and they have split the wifi so I can confirm 2.4 GHz, and it still doesn’t work. It’s extraordinarily frustrating, and there is no support. Phone messages are not returned. Very disappointed.

Good but…. … wish they would add a feature to set time relative to sunrise/sunset

Broken. I tried literally everything to get it to work (3pk from Costco). Using easy mode normally, using ap mode, using easy and scanning mode while walking down the street to get crappy signal for 2.4g, going into my modem setting itself and turning off 5g completely, and using an older device which would stay on 2.4g. Nothing works. Either this Costco pack is a scam or the app is severely broken because the concept is good and I wanted to link to my nest hub but will most likely be returning them now.

Cannot use the app at all.. Couldnt go pass the privacy confirmation, I was never able to use the app at all. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling multiple time, nothing worked.

Reliable and Functional. Reliable app to control my lights. Has all the functions I need and gets new user interface updates regularly. All I’d want from a home automation app.

Great product, but needs a few improvements. While overall I love this product, the fact that the technology requires workarounds to work with Siri makes it not ideal.

DOES NOT WORK. FAILED TO ADD GLOBE BULB!. The latest Globe Suite app failed to work. Unable to add Globe bulb! We have followed the instruction to turn off/on the Globe bulb 3 times. With the Globe bulb blinking, we used the Globe Suite app to add the bulb. The Globe Suite app tried to add for over a minute then returned a message saying “Failed”. We are using 2.4 GHz. We have tried multiple times. This is very frustrating. Please fix the app so it works.

Bad connection. It has been a big hassle to actually get the lightbulbs to connect.

What a pain!. This app is a real pain to try and set up. I have garden lights for Christmas and I tested the programme in the house and I could work it manually but not on the timer. Once outside it wouldn’t work saying it was offline. I have 5G when I am outside of the wifi and it won’t recognize this. The time I spent in this is ridiculous! Would be so much user friendly with a remote! Taking these lights back.

The most useless thing ever. I just bought brand new Globe Lightbulbs from Costco(the 3 pack one) and spent hours trying to connect them and go through the pairing process and nothing works, the lights keep blinking telling me they are in pairing mode but when i scan nothing shows up!! I made sure everything was in 2.4ghz and even at that nothing! Im not the only one having this issue as it seems that many others are experiencing similar problems after THE RECENT UPDATE so please, if you’re seeing this Globe, revert back to what you had prior to the update this is not working at all!

sorry. i wrote a review about this product prior to me calling them and asking if they had any tips on what to try, which was a huge mistake i instantly doubted the product however after calling them and telling them what was happening i was told of a third way of setting up the light bulbs. After trying what was recommended and was very swift and easy to use i went from hating the product to absolutely loving it so i am sorry for judging to soon and i would love to say thank you for the great service over the phone and great product

Good luck keeping a light on. I have lights connected to a globe plugin and it turns off automatically. If a light stays on for 5 minutes I am lucky. Save your money and don’t bother with this brand.

Can’t get the bulbs to pair.... Got these lights from Costco. Yesterday tried for an hour or 2 as well as today to pair them. Every way possible to get these to pair and nothing, kept getting an error. These are so frustrating and I’ll be returning these lights. Looks easier then done. Not satisfied at all

I have a ghost 👻 il my house. The app works when I want,at night I turn my lamp off after 5 min to bed and open my iPhone XR timer 6h later to charge my phone , so the app open my lamp by himself all night and close the timer for my iPhone. Not everyday but it’s sucks sometimes

Disturb me during I’m sleeping.. The automatic light is on after outage around 3am. Please fixed it.

Can’t get past confirmation screen. So far, I can’t get past the confirmation screen to setup my account. Which means I also can’t control any of the devices I recently bought. I’ve tried deleting and re-installing the app multiple times with no luck. Anyone else having this issue?

Works. Works for what I need it to do. Occasionally need to “reset” the bulbs or switches by a couple of physical on/off cycles.

The most infuriating experience. I’ve now spent the last two hours trying to get these bulbs to connect to no avail. Thinking it was operator error I disconnected and deleted every smart device in my house and reconnected each and every one of them. The light bulbs? Nope. Wont connect. I’ve tried every method available. I’ve checked on line and multiple people have been struggling with this. Tried to connect on both iPhone 10 XS Max and IPhone 12. Both yielded the same results. Save your money, don’t buy these.

2 hour drive. So, globe works great when it works. For some unexplained reason sometimes it doesn’t work. I have these stupid lights everywhere in both homes two hours apart. The ones right here, I can’t get them working and now I have to drive 2 hours (one way) to see if I can get the other ones working. As a point of comparison, I have the Philips lights and I’ve literally never had them not work properly. They cost so much more, but I’ve never had an issue.

Works great. Very simple usage and it has never glitched.

App Update sucks. The app was perfect the way it was before the latest update. The interface was user friendly and gave the perfect control adjusting brightness and color. The new update will not let me change color - and adjusting brightness on a scale of 1-1000 was beyond dumb. BRING BACK THE OLD app UX configuration. 2ND UPDATE: After writing my first review, my app somehow reverted to the original version. My wife and I were very pleased as it gives all the features and is user friendly…. Today our app has somehow gone to the new update again and as is described above. Time to start looking for a new led lighting system … the app sucks and these guys cant seem to figure it out.

Easy Peasy. Really enjoy. Pairing was a breeze no issues Was a initially confused on how they set up the on/off time for the lights .. this could be made a little clearer. But once setup works like a breeze. Set and forget. Works great.

Constantly turning off and on. Bought a pack of 4 plugs and installed the app. No problems installing the software as it was easy. However not sure if it’s the plugs or the app but after using either a vacation setting or just general setting for the plugs to turn on and off they just do their own thing and keep Turing on and off at random. Have stopped using - useless product!

Use it every day. This app, when linked to the right devices, is great. I use it to manage many of my lights.

Don’t bother. Bought the 3-pack at Costco. Couldn’t get the bulbs recognized by the app, no matter what I tried. Forced my home wifi to broadcast only 2.4 GHz as instructed, but it was useless as the bulbs simply would not show up in the app. And yes, re-entering my wifi password on every retry is annoying.

New app is very bad. This new App is very bad! I’m unable to figure out how to program a simple time schedule to turn my Globe outside plug on and then off! It’s just way too confusing. The older App was dead simple to set up and use. But this new App is impossible to figure out!!!! Pleas update this App to be very simple to set a time schedule!

These just don’t work. I bought two 3-packs of these from Costco to replace the TP-Link ones I’ve been using (which are starting to have connectivity issues after a few years), and none of them would pair with the app on my iPhone XR. The app suggested FOUR alternate ways to try connecting, but c’mon. It also wouldn’t remember the wifi password and I just got irritated after trying several times. Don’t waste your time or cash on these.

Needs a lot of improvement. In my opinion the app is clunky and hard to navigate. I personally do not find it intuitive or user friendly. The steps to set up rooms and desired settings feels unnecessarily cumbersome. Having to change to a 2.4ghz only network is to set up the devices feels like an unnecessary hassle. I spent hours setting up my devices and room settings. I changed Internet providers and everything stopped working. I contacted Globe support and they told me I have to delete my devices and start over. :( Every once in while, the app randomly forgets my devices. I used to delete the devices and start over, then I discovered if I wait a few days the issue sometimes resolves itself. However who wants to lose control over their devices for days at a time?

No longer working. These lights started off amazing, but after a couple of months the only color that will work is blue… EVERY other color I select shows as yellow. Very disappointing.

There's no support. It's an OK app, but there's no way to contact them for support. The app has a button for "Smart Support", but all it is is a brain-dead bot that can't answer the most basic questions.

JUNK 3pack from Costco. Bought before reading the reviews, spent 2 hours trying to get them to work with NO luck . Tried everything and could not pair lights with device, seems like everyone who purchased from Costco is having this issue.. if I could leave Negative stars I would ... Bright bulb though

Junk. (light bulbs). I bought a Globe Lightbulb in Canac and when I do the setup. It forces me to do it automatically not manually. It doesn’t force me for the Plugs but the bulbs does. Please Globe Fix This

Please make app with iPad support, landscape. Nice bulbs and app. I program them with the app, change color etc then use homeseer to turn on/off with my other automation..but will be adding scenes and adding Alexa support to have another way to control. iPad support is needed, iPhone app on tablet is not optimal.

Programming over and over. The lights are constantly having to be programmed and it’s never a simple process. Would be wonderful to scan and be done with it but each bulb requires a Manual set up and every single time several attempts must be made. I now set myself up with a drink and a chair before I start. I hate doing this

Absolute JUNK. I purchased six of the smart plugs. What a waste of time and money. The Globe Suite app is a piece of junk. I have excellent Wi-Fi. My iPhone 13 Pro Max is connected to the slower, wider range 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is in discovery mode. The worthless smart plugs have rapidly flashing blue LED (pairing mode).Can’t pair using scan or manual mode. After an hour of no success I’m done. Don’t waste your money.

Good app. Great app but could use better grouping, creation of fading out or in light over time (like hue) and for some reason lights disconnect often. Overall. Love having smart lights in the house with timers and ability to control via Alexa.

Great. It is a great app! It has multiple different color options but it was slightly hard to set up. But once it was set up it is very easy to use!

Syncing issue. I wish I also would have read the reviews before I got these bulbs, because I cannot get them to sync at all. I’ve typed in my loooong WiFi password so many times I have it memorized now. I’ve gone thru step by step and watched the videos and I do everything it says, they just won’t sync.

Good when it works. The globe smart plug is outstanding! When it works. More than half the time I have to unplug the thing wait a few moments and plug it back in. This is because the plug goes off line half the time. Currently exploring other options.

Does not respond. Worked great for about a month. Now it doesn’t turn lights on or off until you restart the app 5 times. Alexa acknowledges you want stuff turned and and tries but it doesn’t turn on. It is also not an Alexa problem because the globe app does the same thing. Getting old real fast I have lamps and light bulbs.

It’s good. I don’t usually read apps but I’m writing this one because I use it and I like it a lot.

Great app with a weak widget. The app itself is responsive and reliable, but the widget is often unresponsive and frequently freezes.

They work perfectly, the app works great as well.. Good app. Good lights. Definitely add the app to your control center makes it really easy to flip on and off.

light does not fully work. My bulb only shows whites and red it is not showing any other color, it used to but i stopped using it for a while then went to use it again and it created this problem

Bro just fix this one thing.. I saw the cover of the lightbulb for this app and it look really cool for my kids. But the problem was every time we tried to make it pair with the app it would just stop less then halfway through synchronizing. Please just fix this and make it so it has more time to sync.

Buy Globe Electric instead of Hue, Lifex, and especially Nanoleaf. Really like the integration with Google. Enjoy the convenience by controlling via voice vs the app. Lots of customization of colors and schedules. Lights are simple to setup via the app.

Easy set up. I was prepared for this to be a hassle to set up but it was surprisingly painless. I was up and running in like two minutes and it works great.

Works perfectly. Works well once set up and even controls other brand bulbs than the one with which it was bundled.

Connection issues. 90% of the time the bulb doesn’t connect & when I try to re connect it it says “failed”. There’s nothing wrong with my wifi & I followed the instructions perfectly & tried so many times to connect it but it won’t.

Lighting. Bought 3 of these for the house for my lamps, this time of year is nice to have as the sun goes down way to early in the Colorado Rockies. I can turn them on before I get home, nice product.

This is horrible and a waste of money. (LED STRIP LIGHTS) I went to a store and they said it’s gonna be easy to use I waited 3 days for this junk to come in to the mail and not work you guys should have just made a remote instead of an app. I think it’s dumb that u have to have a certain type of WiFi for this to work and if you use AP u need to buy a whole other thing smh THIS IS SO TRASH do not recommend at all.

Can’t make it work now. Had a problem with my modem so I replaced it. Thought maybe the app was user friendly so I could just go into it and make changes so I could Reset my Light but I cannot find it I even on plugged device for a min and still does not work. I wish I knew all of this before I purchased light.

My Globe Lamp stopped working.. The lamp with the app and Alexa integration used to be everything I was looking for. Smooth, HUB not required. Suddenly the lamp stopped working on Wi-Fi. Hours spent troubleshooting hardware, Wi-Fi, 2.4G and 5G and I learned that the app is causing the problem. I clean the cache and it works and stops again. Now I have a great lamp and it’s not working. I hope next update brings some fix to this

Waste of time and money. I NEVER write reviews for anything but I think this is worthy. I just spent the past 2 hours trying to set up these bulbs and the pairing simply doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. And whoever’s answering the negative reviews on this app don’t bother responding to this - I looked at all the other 1 star reviews and noticed you just copy - paste your feedback for each answer. Your products complete horse crap and it’s going strait in the trash

Security cameras. We love our globe suite security cameras, can always see what is going on around us, even when we are not home!

Could of been better. I just purchased the bulb today. I wish I would of read the app reviews first. I have spent the last hr. Trying to pair. The bulb stops blinking before pairing is complete or it will finish pairing and then show an error. I am a very tech type person. All requirements have been met. The app is not user friendly what so ever. This product is a joke. I will return it tomorrow. To much of a hassle to get a light bulb to change colors.

Please fix offline issue. The app and the product is very nice there is just one issue, sometimes it says your light is offline and you can’t turn it on or off and it annoying

Stopped working. It worked great for about three months and then disconnected suddenly and has never been able to successfully reconnect since. No matter what I try. So I cannot turn off the light now til I get a new bulb without having to deal with the annoying flashing every time.

Do not buy Globe products. Their doorbell constantly falls off WiFi and therefore it is unable to maintain the link to function. I also have 3 light bulbs but have been unable to link them all. I can only get 1 to link so the other 2 are useless. Ugh….wish I could return it all and get my money back.

Not working. I bought this and followed all instructions. However my app does not show/have the AP mode nor will it pair with my bulb. I’ve tried everything including changing my wifi channel. Nothing is working. Very disappointed.

I love the idea of the led but I hate the system. I have to fight to reset the network to even turn the bulb for my phone and when I try to reset it I get no response from the network. I’ve reached out and barely got a sort of response to how to troubleshoot or fix the problem.

Good not great. When this product is working it’s pretty good! But randomly it will not connect and there is not much help troubleshooting the issue. You pretty much have to wait for it to reconnect itself. The white light is plenty bright, but I wish the color setting was brighter.

Weird update. Ever since they updated my light will go to any setting. Always flashing bright and dark. I sent two system diagnostics, no reply, they don’t seem to care about customer issues. Wish it was a bit more transparent.

Buggy schedule. The bulbs do not turn on or off at the times I set them to.

Awkward at best. Very poor user interface, confusing and difficult to use. It is clear that no usability studies whatsoever were performed before its release. Also, does not reorient for those of us who use tablets and, as a disabled person, I find it very difficult to have to do that each time.

A bit wonky. Sometimes the color settings won’t stay and you have to change brightness to make them stick. Other than that, super fun!

Can’t change your account linked phone number. The app asks you to link your phone to your account when you first set it up, but you can’t change it after that. In my case account is linked to a phone number that is no longer with me and there’s no way to update it.

Great game. It’s a great game if you have a lot of time on your hands but it definitely doesn’t pay out

terrible app, terrible products. The app can’t find the brand new switch I just purchased and gives nearly zero feedback or help. I’ve returned the product, deleted the app, deleted my account, purchase a similar product for half the price from Gosund. Had it up and running in 30 seconds after plugging it in.
